Wow! Fantastic experience! You could easily spend the whole day at the park. There are number of trails leading around the lakes and under the waterfalls. Every part of it looks do beautiful. The water is extremely clean and the colours vary from light blue to turquoise green. It’s a must go destination in Croatia

Absolutely stunning nature, I felt like I was wandering through the loveliest dream. Aside from the obvious, the forest itself is incredibly beautiful, soft, nurturing, with ivy covered trees, moss adorned rocks, and colorful leaves blanketing the forest floor. I highly recommend coming in mid to late October for the fall foliage, it imbues a mystical quality to this already enchanted place.

Very beautiful park and easy to access. We was lucky to get 2 versions of the scenery. We came late on day 1 (17 Nov), so we decided to revisit in the next day. There was significant snow and the scenery had changed. Although we couldn't go to your lakes due to the weather, the scenery in lower lakes was fantastic.

Such a beautiful serene environment, walking on the trails did get a bit busy at times but once you're in its amazing to see little pockets of natural beauty, clear waters, different varieties of fish, plants and many jaw dropping waterfalls, too many to count. I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Croatia.

This park is really fantastic. We were here for two days. Walked about 30 km. Some areas quite busy (great waterfall). If possible i recommend an early start to avoid the tourists coming in by busloads. The lakes are great and everything is remarkably clean. We had a great time, highlight of our trip to Croatia.

It's no wonder the Plitvice Lakes are called Croatia's main attraction. It's a vast and incredibly beautiful national park. We visited in the summer, so everything was blooming and green. The park's highlight is the many waterfalls it has. Here, the waterfalls resemble delicate lace, an exquisite interplay of streams and intertwining water flows - there waterfalls upon waterfalls. If you're in Croatia, don't miss the opportunity to admire this spectacle! Some of the hiking trails will easily last a few hours, so prepare to spend a full day here.

Great planning in the national park, with bus and boat inclusive with the ticket which is unbelievable at this kind of world-famous tourist spot. Experienced route H, spent around 5 hours and quite easy to walk, thanks for the bus taking us uphill and start at the top with over 80% of the journey are downhill. Fall season should be promoted more, the view is amazing, weather is comfortable but obviously there are not many visitors during Oct.

Gorgeous arena. A must see when in Pula. Beautiful weather helped to get some beautiful shots. More than 2000 years old and one of six biggest amphitheatres still standing.. breathtakingly stunning.

We visited Pula Arena and oh my God, it was incredible. It’s absolutely worth paying to go inside. Once you’re in, you can walk around everywhere and really feel like you’ve stepped back into ancient Roman times. The Arena is in very good condition - well preserved and majestic. It’s a gorgeous spot for photos, history lessons, or just soaking up atmosphere. What impressed me most is how immersive it feels - you can almost imagine the crowds, the spectacles, the echoes of the past. Also, I discovered that the Arena is sometimes used for theatre and opera performances, which must be fantastic in such a setting. The Pula Arena (also called the Pula Amphitheatre) was built between 27 BC and AD 68 and is one of the world’s six largest surviving Roman arenas. It’s especially remarkable because it’s the only Roman amphitheatre with all four side towers fully preserved.

Pula is a small town, so seeing such a grandiose structure from the era of the great Roman Empire here is both unexpected and impressive. There are far fewer visitors than at the Roman Colosseum, so everyone has the unique opportunity to find a secluded spot, stand, and reflect on eternity, on how times, customs, and games have changed over the centuries. Don't miss the small but fascinating museum located in the arena's underground chambers—it's dedicated primarily to olive oil production in Istria.

What a site to see! Amazing roman arena built between 27–68 AD. Sixth largest in the world. There is a fee to enter and you are free to walk around once inside. There are QR codes that provide a self guided tour using your phone. Bring ear buds or headphones for the audio. This is one of the best preserved amphitheaters in the world. This is a must see.

This was a really amazing experience. So incredible to be inside such a huge part of history. The price is very affordable. This was our favorite thing that we did in Pula. I would highly recommend stopping by even if just for this experience!

It was easy to purchase tickets. We were able to just stroll around and look at the view of the amphitheatre. The souvenir shop also had lots of unique items that I haven’t seen at other places. Overall, it was a lovely experience for a Sunday afternoon.

The 8th largest Arena of the roman empire, the arena of Pula was only ever and exclusively used for gladiatorial fights and could not be flooded like its larger cousin in Rome. Sea fights were instead conducted directly in the bay, onlyeters from the arena itself. The outer walls are amazingly well preserved l, though half of the seating had been removed bu the venetians to be used for building material. Below the arena in the catacombs, there is an exhibition about roman life in istria, showing artefacts of a nearby olive oil manufactury. This place is an absolute must visit for history fans!

Idyllic, restful & charming place to visit! Lovely to take the Pletna boat to visit the church, walk around the lake and climb up to the church & castle! Blessed to be able to enjoy the beauty of this lake & surroundings!

A lake with a small island and being overlooked by a castle on an intimidatingly high hill. An absolutely gorgeous lake. I’d recommend two days in the area, with one dedicated to the lake and castle.

if you happen to be in Slovenia, you shouldn’t miss out on Bled lake! stunning views wherever you go! you can take a swim in the lake, there are also boats services! There are resting points with restaurants and ice cream shops.

Bled is a must visit if you are in Slovenia. We came around end of September, got caught in the rain for the first night but the second day was perfect with sunny weather. Not too crowded during our visit. We love it

It’s our first time in Slovenia so we had to see iconic Lake Bled. We spent 4 hours walking around the lake and taking our time to enjoy the place. It’s beautiful as in a fairytale and there’s plenty to do, toboggan, kayak, SUP, take a pletna boat to the island, just walk around, have a picnic. It’s perfect. There’s definitely tourists around, like ourselves but it wasn’t overcrowded on the day we went in late September. We parked at Straza Bled, found the price most reasonable amongst other carparks for the distance to Lake Bled. 3€ for first 2 hours and 3€ for every next hour. It’s also right next to the fun toboggan.

The island of Maria on Lake Bled feels both real and timeless. I stumbled upon this as the weather shifted, the sun breaking through while a gentle rain fell, creating a moment that felt almost otherworldly.

One of the best lakes in Europe to relax and enjoy. The church is located in the middle of the lake. We can visit the church via rowing boat. Unfortunately we don't have enough time to visit the church and castle. Overall the lake is worth seeing.

The climb up to this castle is pretty steep, and tickets aren’t exactly cheap. If you don’t plan on actually going inside, it might not be worth the effort, since you won’t really get any accessible viewpoints from the top without paying for entry. We had already visited plenty of other spots in the area, so we skipped it this time – maybe next visit. Still, feels like the tickets could be priced a bit more reasonably.

Went to Bled castle on an organized trip, so I was already sorted for the tickets. The main attraction of the castle are the views on the lake, which are quite spectacular. There is a small museum with the story of the castle and of the lake (including the island), a restaurant, toilets and also a souvenir shop. Overall we spent 1h here which I think was appropriate to take photos and explore the museum.

A really interesting and almost mystical medieval castle. No long waiting lines — entry is quick and easy, whether you pay in cash or digitally — and suddenly you’re standing right inside history. At the top, there’s a cozy café where you can enjoy a coffee and a slice of cake, which I can honestly recommend. Sitting there with your coffee and cake, looking down at the lake far below, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. You can see the boats on the water and the mountains all around — the panorama is absolutely stunning. After that, you can take a short walk through the castle, visit the small museum, explore the souvenir shops, or taste and buy local honey and wine. Toilets are available, and there’s parking right in front of the castle, though it’s a bit pricey at around 3 € per hour. Families can get a family ticket, which is a bit cheaper. We ended up spending almost the whole day there because it’s simply beautiful — peaceful, full of history, and absolutely worth a visit. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bled.

The castle is very well preserved (it is worth paying for the access) and offers a very beautiful view over the the lake and the island. On a personal note, I think it is more spectacular on the inside. It is the best way to end a nice walk around the lake.

No drones allowed. So I don’t know how people get the arial shots. Guttenburg print press shop on site where you can customize your own print. Honey shop where you can have a honey tasting. And a fine dining restaurant where, if you reserve, can have free entrance to castle included. The castle is a fantastic vantage point to see and photograph Bled Island. However if you go late in the afternoon the sun will be in your face and the island will be in the dark.

Stunning views, well worth the steep walk! The castle offers breathtaking scenery over lush green landscapes. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant—great food and excellent service. A must-visit spot in Bled!

I walked up to Bled Castle from a bath by Lake Bled. It took around 10 minutes and was mostly smooth gravel or stairs, very easy to navigate (some people were going up with prams). The castle itself is amazing. You pay to enter (16 euros at the date of my visit) and can go to various viewpoints, the museum and buy drinks and snacks to enjoy overlooking the lake. Although in peak summertime, I arrived around 8:30 (it opens at 8am) and it was so quiet meaning I could take all the pictures I wanted, wander around, and grab the best seat to chill for a few hours.

Amazing experience but plan ahead! Vintgar Gorge is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit! I highly recommend buying your ticket online in advance, it saves a lot of time. If you’re coming by car, parking is free, but be careful: the first parking lot is paid and doesn’t belong to the gorge. Drive a bit further to the second parking area, where staff will guide you where to park. From there, an electric shuttle bus runs every 20 minutes and takes you directly to the gorge entrance (cars are not allowed beyond this point, only motorcycles or bikes). ⚠️ Important: your ticket is only valid for the 20-minute time slot shown on it, the gate opens only during that time! 💧 There’s also a free restroom available at the entrance. All in all, very well organized and the nature is breathtaking, a must-see when visiting Bled! 🇸🇮💚

Nice atmosphere and worth of visiting. Tickets required. If bought in advance through the internet, you can park directly at the entrance. If you want to buy tickets on site, you need to drive couple km back to the central parking where the ticket office is located. From central parking free shuttle would drive you at the entrance...

We did the full round trip at Soteska Vintgar and loved it. From Bled we took the bus to the Vintgar starting point, and after the walk we returned to Bled with the same bus - included in the ticket price. Tickets for the trip can be bought online. Buses run every 15–20 minutes, and you can also start from the Vintgar parking if you come by car. The whole experience took around 3 hours. The trail goes along the river, through the forest and meadows. The gorge is stunning, with wooden paths above crystal-clear water and the sound of the river all around. Peaceful, fresh, and absolutely worth the visit.

Very beautiful gorge! We took the guided tour which is available everyday at 4 pm. Highly recommend taking this tour if you would like to listen and understand a bit of the history of the gorge. Our guide Domen was very kind and helpful. He took us through the longest but most beautiful trail through the gorge. The trail has a bit of an incline climb but the absolutely worth the view if you are up for a little hike. He also got some Slovenian herbal tea for us to have after the hike which was very thoughtful 😊

A truly beautiful gorge. We were here in October and it was wonderfully peaceful. The gorge is truly stunning, well worth the effort. We explored the gorge with our guide, "Jan," and it's highly recommended! Jan is an experienced, enthusiastic, and friendly guide. Most beautiful hike (intermediate) we did in the area. Views are mesmerizing and there are options for a small and a big one. Can walk across the forest or along the river on the way back.

The gorge is beautiful and a great experience, also for children. It’s important to spend some time reading the website beforehand to understand how to get there, the different route options, and other important details. It’s a very organized site, and preparation really helps to make the most of the visit. For families – you can pick up a booklet with activity accessories for kids at the entrance booth. Most of the activities are set along the return trail through the forest and the scenic viewpoint over the valley pn the way back. Our kids (ages 9 and 6) absolutely loved this experience! At the end, they received a small souvenir. We completed the trail in about two and a half hours and walked fairly quickly because we were worried about missing the last bus back to the parking area at the end of the day (buses run until 20:00, then shuttle vans until 21:00 – we visited in July). On the way back, as you exit the forest, there’s a restaurant with a well-maintained playground. It looks like a great place to stop, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time because we were in a rush.

The 'must do' thing when you are in Dubrovnik. On a good day you can see for miles from the top of the walls and it is probably the best place to view the old city buildings from. There are really nice views of Fort Lovrijenac from the walls and you can spot lots of Game of Thrones filming locations from them. Highly recommended and don't forget that the price includes a visit to Lovrijenac as well.

Breathtaking views every corner. A lot of stairs but it’s totally worth it. We didn’t purchase the one day pass to go inside the city wall, we just purchased the city wall pass and it was €10. Highly recommended place.

Amazing city walls, absolutely beautiful scenery from everywhere you walk. The walls are in amazing condition and are so clean and well looked after. Lots of walking and lots and lots of steps, but worth it for the views.

Beautiful scenery - it shows you the true glory of Dubrovnik. We went during a rainy day and even then it was still gorgeous. Lots of little cafes along the way with toilets (which we used to hide out in during the heavy rain!)

The walls are a must do it you are visiting Dubrovnik. It takes about 1.5-2.5 hours to complete as per your place. The views are just fantastic. Wear comfortable shoes. There are a few places to grab something to eat and drink. The wall ticket also gives access to Fort Lorijenac for a duration of 3 days so don't throw it away. The ticket costs 250 HRK. Came to know later that the Dubrovnik card costs 250 HRK and it covers the wall and a bunch of other places so please do check that out first. Best to do first thing in the morning to avoid crowds. Sunset is also a good time for great views

The walls of Dubrovnik are iconic, no doubt, but are they worth 35 Euro per person or almost $40? I'm not sure about that. As glamorous as it sounds, walking the walls is not that pleasant. There is no shade up there whatsoever, and the views, though initially stunning, quickly become repetitious, and in concert with the heat, they turn to old news as you start searching for shade, water and eventually the exit. I, for one, did not finish the circuit and bowed out before the heat stroke had the chance to do me in.

Lovely scenery from walls. Costs 35 Euro per person. We have been there with one 6yrs old and one 2.5yrs old, also our foldable stroller was with us. It was not too easy with stroller because you need to carry a lot. If you have foldable and light weight stroller, you can take it with you. The easiest way to start is from Maritime Museum, less steps and easy to climb up. Rest of the entrances have more and steep steps. It is one way walk, and you do not have to take round tour. We left the walls from Pile gate.

An incredible experience! Would recommend everyone to do it. There are roughly 1000 steps and the distance is approximately 2 kilometres but don't let that fool you, it is a serious workout. They advised that it should take an hour but it took us double that doing it with two small children. In the end the kids were exhausted and we were not able to visit the fort (the City walls entrance ticket allows you access to the nearby Fort Lovrijenac). Would advise to start early in the day if you're visiting in the summer as it gets quite hot post 11am.

Great view of the whole city. 35 Euros is a fair amount, but if you're interested in doing something else too (like visiting the fortress outside the walls which is 15 euros on its own) then it makes the price much more justified. There are breaks for food and drinks along the 2.1k walk. Lots of steep stairs, be a bit careful if you don't like heights. Amazing though, definitely recommend as an activity.

Amazing island is waiting to be discovered. We were very glad that we had the chance to visit this amazing place. With a ferry every 30 minutes you can get there early and spend the day exploring the place. The is a lot of walking to be done if you do want to explore the island but you can reward yourself with a swim either in the Dead Sea or by the rocks. There's a restaurant on the island, a cafe/ bar and another one by the lake.

Visiting Lokrum Island was an absolute highlight of our trip to Dubrovnik. We definitely enjoyed our time on this beautiful, tranquil nature reserve. It’s the perfect, accessible escape from the Old Town crowds. Getting there is quick and straightforward. It’s just a 15-minute ferry ride from the city's Old Port. We found ticket purchasing to be easy, whether you opt to buy online or at the counter right in the port. Once on the island, you immediately feel the difference. It truly is a beautifully silent, isolated place, filled with lush greenery and the most lovely peacocks who roam the grounds freely. For activities, there are great offers to swim in the crystal-clear Adriatic, so be sure to pack your bathing suit. And for Game of Thrones fans, the Iron Throne is here! I highly recommend dedicating at least a half-day to exploring this wonderful, peaceful haven.

A must visit especially for the fans of the Games of Thrones. The throne is here and many people choose to lineup for a photo opt. The ferry services to and from the island are at the old port that’s a 15 minute boat ride. The boat schedule runs every 30 minutes with two boats. The ticket sales can be purchased online or at the ticket booth. It’s 30 euros round trip including admission. You’ll find many areas to swim and enjoy the scenery. The popular swimming spots have lifeguards. There are restaurants and eateries located throughout the island. Worth a visit and less crowds here.

This is a magical place only 10-15 minutes boat ride from Dubrovnik port. It is a protected island and there are plenty of beautiful peacocks all around the place. For GoT lovers this is the city of Qarth. You will find maps all over the island with the important locations that you have to visit, there is a beautiful beach and a lake. The boat to the island costs 30 euros per person but you get a 20% discount if you have the city pass. Totally recommend it, you cannot miss it if you visit Dubrovnik

The Island of Lokrum is a beautiful place to visit with the family. 🌿 The scenery is amazing, and it’s a great spot to swim, relax, and explore. You’ll also enjoy seeing the animals roaming around and the variety of trees and plants across the island. The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s quite a bit of walking involved 😛—so be prepared with comfortable shoes. Overall, it’s a fun, natural, and refreshing experience.

It was fine. The trails up to the observatory are horrible and should not be attempted by anyone unfamiliar to long hikes or rough trails. The descent is no better. The beaches are rocks but the swimming appears good. They clearly want you to stay by the parts they can make money off you by their bar and cabana by the rocks. The ferry is timely and the trip is easy and quick. Overall if you can take you own boat or trip plan to spent €30 to hang out and bring drinks/snacks to hang by the water it is worth it. Otherwise save your money and just go to a beach

We visited Lokrum Island off-season, so it wasn’t crowded at all. The boat ride from Dubrovnik itself was already an amazing experience, and the trip is definitely worth the price. The island is beautiful, lush and green, with a few cafes and restaurants to relax in. There are also plenty of spots to sunbathe and enjoy the sea. A must-visit, especially for Game of Thrones fans! And of course the peacocks😱😍🦚🏰🌊

You can buy tickets at the entrance. We bought only cable car tickets, but there are also Dubrovnik card tickets available. Sunset is a peak hour. You can walk down with nice view to the city. If you walk aside a little bit (sunset direction) there will be less crowded spots to enjoy the sunset.

Beautiful scenery. Worth every penny. We went on a sunny day. The day we wanted to go the cable cars were not running due to high winds and rain.. so we drove up the narrow road that leads up to that point. I would not fo that. It's a 2 way narrow road. If u can gallows either taxis or someone it's fine otherwise pulling over is hard on to gravel.

Gorgeous views over Dubrovnik. Sunset was amazing from the top. Walk a little towards the left (cable car behind you) to find some beautiful nature and even better views. We also bumped into a herd of goats. Queue down after sunset was almost 1h, right before no queue whatsoever (neither up or down).

The only negative for this cable car ride is the cost of round trip for 30 EUR. You can get a flight ticket from London dubrovnik for the exact same price, and the views will make you feel you redeem the cost of it but I remember paying much lesser fee for longer cable car rides. The views are amazing , there is only one half decent restaurant on the top to have a beer and enjoy the views, and if you are going around sunset time, the uphill rides become very crowded and long queues so plan your trip accordingly

Recommend taking the cable car... great views and access to a swish restaurant/bar at the top. 30 euros for a return trip but well worth it. Smooth journey. Takes about 5 minutes. Didn't eat at the restaurant but had lovely, reasonably priced, drinks whilst enjoying the fabulous views.

It was okay overall. You do have great views of the old town. I wish I had gone up during sunset. I recommend only going up iif the weather is good otherwise the view wouldn't be worth going up. I didn't eat in the restaurant but would recommend getting a drink to soak up her views. If you have time, I suggest getting a one way ticket and then hiking back down Mount which takes around 30-40 minutes if you’re in good physical condition.

The Dubrovnik Cable Car is one of the best experiences to do in the city! The ride up is smooth and the views over the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea, and the surrounding islands are absolutely breathtaking. The time spent at the top was amazing — whether enjoying the scenery, taking photos, or just relaxing. A must-do when visiting Dubrovnik!

Amazing! A must see. The preservation of this site is perfect. Make sure to check out the gift shop in the building to the right of the tunnel of salvation too. It is run by locals whose family helped build the tunnel. Wonderful people!

Great place to experience history from the war. Watch the movie their playing in the video rooms. It will show you how the tunnel worked, and some clip from sniper boulevard and other areas in Sarajevo.

It is very interesting and moving to see up close what the people of Sarajevo had to go through during the war. At the same time, it reveals amazing creativity in how they did it.

Gr3at experience. One needs to watch a documentary before visiting go understand the context behind building the tunnel. Also, if you pay for the parking make sure you take your receipt. It only costs 2BAM.

Fascinating and informative place that tells the story of a hidden tunnel during the 90’s war. There is a real sense of being in the place where real history happened very recently

Well the tunnel is in the real place but is completely rebuilt, so you see basically nothing original except for the location. Museum also is not that nice and not very well organised

Beautiful abbey with impressive architecture and history. Guided tours are available in various languages. I especially love the view from the top and the library was also beautiful. Would recommend visiting!

We never to a chance to visit the Abbey from the inside, however just stopping by and looking at it from the outside is amazing. The size of the Abbey will really surprise you. You can get a good view from the outside with space to quickly park and take some few pics. Definitely worth looking.

Veru nice place. Use parking on top, it’s payed, but close to entrance (4€ for 2,5 hours). Church is really nice and good looking. Nice views spot. Best for me was garden. Not that huge but so many places to see, perfect experience. Enjoy your time here.

It is absolutely stunning—both inside and out. Perched above the town and overlooking the Danube River, it offers incredible panoramic views that are worth the visit alone. But the real highlight is the abbey itself: an architectural masterpiece with a rich history dating back over 900 years. The baroque design is jaw-dropping, especially the church interior with its gold accents, frescoed ceilings, and ornate detailing. The library is another gem—beautiful, historic, and filled with ancient manuscripts. The museum exhibits are thoughtfully curated and give great insight into the Abbey’s religious and cultural significance. The grounds and gardens are peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect for a quiet stroll after touring the interior. Highly recommended if you're traveling through the Wachau Valley—Melk Abbey is a must-see that combines culture, beauty, and a sense of timelessness. Beautiful abbey, library and interesting exposition. But, to my taste, library was the most spectacular of them all. Definitely worse the detour for couple of hours - we visited it on our way from Salzburg to Vienna. There is a parking right at the abbey, so if your gps , like ours will be a bit confused - just continue to the main entrance of the abbey. Melk itself is a nice little town with a picturesque surroundings and little centre with narrow streets. Driving I’d not rate as a pleasure, but bearable 😊

A very impressive place to visit. The monastery stands out for its scale and beautiful views over the Danube. The library was the highlight for me — a unique atmosphere, ancient books, and stunning frescoes. The church also leaves a strong impression, with its grandeur and attention to detail. The terrace offers a great view — it’s nice to just pause for a moment and take it all in. Everything is well-organized: parking, clear signs, a cafe and a shop. It’s best to visit when there are fewer people — the place feels completely different then.

This area is obviously very touristy but part of its charm comes from all the people just relaxing at cafes. I went in the afternoon around 3 pm and it was quite busy. I also plan to drop by earlier in the day when it is a bit quieter. It is the part of town where you can transport yourself back to what it might have been like in “ye olden days”

We had a wonderful day exploring Schönbrunn Palace and its beautiful gardens! The place is enormous, so expect to spend almost the entire day walking around, discovering its stunning architecture, elegant interiors, and rich history. There are plenty of benches outside where you can rest, have a picnic, or simply people-watch. The gardens are incredibly lovely and very well-maintained, and the entire area is so organized that you’ll enjoy exploring no matter which part you visit. There’s also a children’s museum, zoo, mazes, cafés, restaurants, and more! We especially enjoyed the short hike up to the Gloriette for a breathtaking view of the palace grounds. A definite must-see when in Vienna!

I was only outside as I was interested in thr Christmas market . There were alcohol free options and vegan as well. Market entry was Free, however, the special light garden git an try fee of 24 Euros , 99 percent wheelchair accessible. There was one feature where to see fully you had to go upstairs, otherwise everywhere you could roll.

It was my first visit to Schönbrunn Palace in 47 years, and its magnificent scenery was as wonderful as ever as a symbol of the Habsburg dynasty. The lavish decorations inside the palace and the splendor of the gardens are as magnificent as ever, demonstrating the majesty of a World Heritage Site that is worth revisiting. Walking around the vast gardens, I was reminded of its grandeur and splendor. The splendid decorations and paintings inside the palace are also worth seeing.

You need to explore all the places so a classic plus ticket is recommended for 75 euros, this will cover all the gardens, zoo, terrace, and the palace. This will be a long trip and you need to rest between them so I'd recommend to start your trip at 10 a.m. to finish it at 5 p.m. I strongly recommend to buy your tickets online becuase there was a very long line. This spot is heaven on earth. I was excited to catch the early Christmas market in the palace gardens, so many great food stalls and adorable Christmas goodies shops! The evening ambiance with all the lights was simply stunning. A truly enchanting and memorable experience.

Went to see Gustav Klimt on exhibition and it was a wonderful experience to see his work alongside Monet, Van Gogh and Egon Schiele. The palace is easy to navigate and the exhibition was over 3 floors. I visited late 5pm before closing and it was not crowded. I got to see all the works up close and truly appreciate the details. Staff are very vigilant and protect the work from people standing too close, its also important to check sinage as its not permitted to take photos of all the work. I had a wonderful time exploring the grounds before sunset. Found bamboo in the botanical gardens. It was not so lush as we are at the end of autumn, but it is a marvellous palace nevertheless. There is a cafe with very attentive and kind staff, great coffee. We also were very lucky the xmas markets were on at the time. Some beautiful stalls with great artisanal items!

It was nice to visit this palace. In winter time it's not so lovely because of the gardens. There was a little Christmas Bazar where you can enjoy some wine and sweets. There was huge donuts and some traditional foods.

Belvedere Palace was built between 1714 and 1723 as the summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy.After his death,it was acquired by Maria Theresa and transformed into one of the world's first public museums.It has since been used for various purposes,including as a residence for the heir to the throne and most famously,as the location where the Austrian State Treaty was signed in 1955, officially declaring Austria's freedom. Additionally,it houses a significant collection of art,including the world's largest collection of works by Gustav Klimt, with his famous paintings "The Kiss",Monet and Vincent van Gogh. It was a very enjoyable visit that traveled me in time!!

The Belvedere is a wonderful choice for a stroll and for experiencing beauty. The park is very pleasant and inspires a positive outlook, and the museum itself is incredibly aesthetically pleasing. You can see wonderful paintings not only by Klimt but also by other artists, as well as sculptures. There are absolutely unique works of art, portraits, and still lifes that are every bit as good as the famous canvases. The Klimt hall is wonderful; I really enjoyed his landscapes! A wonderful place!

Locals often jog, run, or just relax there, and it's lovely to see artists drawing or people chilling. Overall, the views and grounds make it worth avisit! Overall, Belvedere Palace is worth visiting for its architecture and historical appeal, but don’t set your expectations too high for the exhibitions.

This area is good to explore. It hosts Stephenskriche-church and this church is beautiful. You can get into the church & lit candles & pray. This is one of the most visited place in Vienna, so in summer, this will be crowded with tourists. You can explore this area as you like it- do shopping, eat good, or just explore cultural capital. You can also buy Gustav Klimt’s paintings, Austrian silver jewellery, Austrian liquor and sweets. I love to stroll around this place in mornings when crowd is less. This is easily accessible through metro, and is very safe.

The heart of Vienna. There's a buzz around with both locals and tourists. With the Christmas stalls and lights there was a truly festive feel to the square. And so safe.

The Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral) that sits at the center of this busy square was packed with tourists on a weekday afternoon. However, it's an impressive Gothic cathedral and worth the visit. You don't need to spend more than 1/2 hour here. For me, that was plenty. Don't miss some of the interesting exterior motifs of skulls and crossbones; I don't know why those are there, but it's a good question to ask your tour guide, if you happened to splurge for one.

It's a small Christmas market right in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral. The sausages I ate there were topped with extras, so they were tastier than those I've had elsewhere. And there are always a lot of people.

I visited St. Stephen's Cathedral from the outside, and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The architecture of the cathedral is impressive, and the streets and squares nearby are full of charm, cafes, and shops. It’s a perfect spot for sightseeing and taking photos. I really enjoyed walking around and soaking in the lively atmosphere of the area .

This cathedral is absolutely stunning. The architecture, both inside and out, is breathtaking. Right beside it, an early Christmas market was happening with adorable stalls. The interior is a true work of art. At night, it transformed into what looked like a massive haunted castle, haha!

The cathedral is a magnificent piece of architecture and a sight to behold. My strong personal critique, however, is the commercialization of the space. Requiring payment for entry into the main sections creates a barrier that I feel is fundamentally opposed to Christian teachings. A church should be a place where anyone, regardless of their financial means, can enter to pray and connect with God.

I have to say that I was really excited to visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. I had seen it in pictures, on Instagram, everywhere, and seeing it in person was such a beautiful, emotional moment. The cathedral is stunning from the inside out. We bought our tickets the same day; you cannot buy tickets online, so you need to go directly to the ticket area. If you want to go to the top of the cathedral, there are two options: • South Tower – You must climb around 300 steps. It’s very high and can be exhausting. • North Tower – This is the one we chose. It actually has a better view, including a 360° view, and you can take the elevator, which is definitely nicer. We also visited the dungeons, and that was fascinating. You see cadavers that have been there since the 1500s (or around that time). They give you a guided tour that explains how people were buried and the history of the underground cemetery. It’s very interesting, I won’t spoil too much, but I definitely recommend it. We didn’t do the full church tour because when we arrived, they were having Mass, and we didn’t want to wait. Plus, after going up the tower in the cold, we were already a bit tired. So just be prepared, going to the top can be draining, especially if you’re an introvert. We’re both introverts, and we were completely drained afterwards. But honestly, the cathedral itself is breathtaking. It’s hard to believe something so massive and detailed was built so long ago. I really can’t even explain how incredible it is, you just have to see it for yourself. One thing I liked is that everything is done on the same day, and you don’t have to worry about online bookings. You can explore one part of the cathedral and come back another day to do the rest, if you want. We didn’t, but it’s an option. We bought two tickets: • one for the underground cemetery tour • one for the North Tower (highly recommend this one!) I also recommend doing the official church tour because it gives you the full history, when it was built, who built it, and all the important details. I kind of regret not doing that. Overall, I highly recommend visiting St. Stephen’s Cathedral. I don’t have many pictures because I really wanted to take everything in with my own eyes and enjoy the moment. If you go, do the same,or have someone else take photos for you,because the experience goes by too fast. And you don’t want to miss it by staring at your phone.

Very cool castle. Unfortunately it was super foggy the day we visited, so we couldn’t enjoy the view, but it gave a nice mysterious vibe to the castle. The gardens are beautiful, and the inside as well. Nothing too special if you’ve visited other big castles in Europe, but I’d say it’s worth it of you have a couple of hours to spend

Perched on a hill overlooking the Danube, this white fortress offers the best panoramic views in the city. The museum inside is skippable unless you’re into Slovak political history - the real attraction is the gardens and views from the terrace. Sunset here is spectacular. Tip: Visit in the late afternoon and walk down via the old stone steps into the Old Town for dinner.

Definitely worth a visit. A real castle on the hill. You can walk to it from the city centre, taking around 20-30 minutes but it’s an uphill route. Although inside the castle, there’s not much to see, I still really like the view from the tower. You can also visit the castle from the outside in the evening as well.

It's a must do on your visit to the old town in Bratislava. The views are great. I suggest walking up to the castle first before going down to the town. Lovely manicured gardens.

The castle has great outsides and looks that has been maintained very well. Great to go walking or just outside coffee. The inside exhibitions at least from mi pov are very minimalistic. For the same price you can get to great exhibitions in other countries, at some point there were paintings but no info on it, I did Google lens to understand.

There are also exhibitions for you to explore and many art pieces for you to marvel at. Please note it is definitely a hike up! Recommend to wear appropriate shoes.

The fortress is a wonderful place to spend some time. The walk up to the fortress is mildly strenuous but pleasantly green. The exhibitions are absolutely worth visiting and very comprehensive. The view from the fortress walls or its tower is also beautiful. Definitely a must-visit if you are in Brno.

Whether you’re drawn to its medieval architecture, Ghostly prison history, lush gardens, or unforgettable city views, it’s easy to spend whole day exploring at a relaxed pace. If you stay Brno few days and have a lot of time, you can visit here. If not, you don't need to. If you want to go into the royal chapel, you have to buy another ticket.

It’s beautiful. Walking around inside the walls is free and you can buy tickets to have a look in the look out tower or the treasury.

Fantastic place to go with our boys of 8, 9 and 12 yrs old. With so many slides you can gradually build up the difficulty level. Personal favorite: Flamingo. Also had some good food from the grill 😋 And enough parking space. Buy tickets online to get some discount 😉

If you enjoy feeling exploited – go there. The entrance tickets are outrageously overpriced, and the place is packed with thousands of people, creating enormous queues for the slides. For some unexplained reason, on most of the slides – especially those designed for kids – you’re forced to wait for an inflatable tube, which makes the wait even longer and more cumbersome. On the main slides, you can end up waiting over an hour (!) in line, and then spend more long minutes waiting again at the top. Everything moves painfully slowly and inefficiently. But the real nerve is what they call “Express Tickets.” For an extra €3 per person per slide, they let you skip the main line and go straight up to the slide queue itself. So, while you – who already paid dozens of euros to get in – wait endlessly in the “regular” line, dozens of people who paid more casually walk past you. For every 20 “express” guests, they let through maybe 1 or 2 who paid the already outrageous regular admission. They’re counting on you to give up and pay more. It’s basically extortion. In 8 hours at the park, the kids barely managed 7 slides in total, and altogether spent about 5–6 hours waiting in line. The food is expensive too, and the queues for food are just as unreasonable. We won’t be coming back, and we definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

The water park is huge and offers a wide variety of attractions, with something for everyone. The rides and activities were diverse and a lot of fun. Most of the attractions are outdoors, so weather can make a big difference. The only downside was that the major attractions had long waiting times. We visited on a sunny day, so it wasn’t too bad, but on colder days the wait could be less pleasant, especially for those not used to chilly weather.

This review is for the aquapark pools and slides, not the hotel. As we were not there The place is great and we spent the full day with kids, even though most of the slides were closed due to winter, it was still lots of fun and not crowded at all , October time

Absolutely fantastic experience at Aqua Park Tatralandia! So many slides, pools, and attractions for every age. The water is warm, everything is clean, and the staff are super friendly. Perfect mix of fun and relaxation — a must-visit when in Slovakia. PS: There was a magician😂

Visited Tatralandia Water Park today. The park is very large, with plenty of seating areas both outdoors and indoors. It can get extremely crowded, which may not be ideal for those who dislike crowds, but it offers a fun experience for most visitors above 120 cm in height. Only a few attractions require a minimum height of 140 cm. There are lockers available for storing belongings, and many restaurants on-site, though prices are relatively high, around €15 for a standard meal and €3 for drinks. The park has a wide variety of attractions and pools. We chose to visit mainly for the wave pools, but unfortunately, they were closed upon arrival. It’s possible to skip the long lines by paying €3 per ride, but this option isn’t available for all attractions and must be paid each time you want to skip the line. If you don’t bring a towel, you can rent one for €4. There is plenty of parking in the complex, including in the main lot.

Unbelievably crowded! Right at the entrance, at every slide (it took even 55 mins today for one of them), at all restaurants in the peak lunch time, and finally a decent queue at the exit to pay the consumption. It's a pity, because the place has very good facilities and potential, it's just the unlimited visitors left in on such a peak day, which creates such a distress.

Impressive. Since place is available by cable car, easy to reach also for older and not traied people an kids. Views are nice when weather is good.

In addition to the heel and toe system, you can go up the hill from Zakopane with a lift. I recommend buying lift tickets in advance. Starting in the morning, queues for buying tickets are usually very long in the summer when the weather is nicer. The lift also has an intermediate station where you can make a change if necessary and change part of the ascent (or descent) to a walking tour. The upper lift station also has restaurants (on two floors, the lower of which is always less crowded), a toilet (for a fee) and a phone charging station (lockable free lockers in the room next to the toilets).

This is a magnificent park. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and wonderful. Even on a crowded day, it’s fairly easy to find some quiet space to yourself. The squirrels are beyond adorable so make sure you bring some delicious nuts for them.

A lovely getaway from the urban sprawl of Warsaw. Lordly peacocks 🦚 made my day. Squirrels 🐿️ run galore, so bring your little bag of nuts to partake in the feeding craze undertaken by old and young :) Love golden autumn colors 🍂 adding more splendor.

Łazienki Park is simply charming. It's a very beautiful, peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Along the way, you can see various animals like squirrels, peacocks, and ducks, which make the experience even more enjoyable and fun. Perfect for those who want to connect with nature without leaving the city.

Amazing and massive park area. People handfeed the peacocks and red squirrels by the palace. I was shocked how friendly the animals are. One red squirrel came up to me and climbed on my leg thinking I have food. Back in the UK this is unimaginable as animals over there have to be wary of humans.

Incredible huge park with multiple old buildings and a vast network of trails and paths. Washrooms are easy to find comma and there is more seating/benches than any other Park I have seen. Be sure to find the peacocks that hang out near the education center

I recently visited the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, and it was an amazing experience. The place is full of interactive and educational exhibits that are fun for both children and adults. I especially enjoyed the section with reptiles, insects, and amphibians — it was fascinating! Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Warsaw

Super fun science museum even for adults. Came here with my husband and we spent a good 2 hours going through all the exhibits. Lots of science, math and cool facts, throughout. The museum itself is quite interactive allowing you to play or do the activity that they are intending to teach you. Would high recommend if you have kids or even as adults.

Quite busy during a weekday with soooo many school kids visiting (can't even imagine how it's like over a weekend!) but, undeniably, it's worth it! A thrill for kids and adults alike! You could easily spend there a full day, if only the restaurant was located inside the place... Sadly, you have to step out to get warm food. The cafeteria sells only sandwiches.

The Copernicus Science Centre is an absolute must-visit in Warsaw. Having worked for almost two years in a similar science centre (Technopolis in Mechelen), I can honestly say that this place made a big impression on me. Everything is modern, interactive and designed to make you explore, test and discover. Each area is clear, well-organised and very well maintained, with a wide variety of hands-on exhibits ranging from physics and biology to robotics, technology and optics. The atmosphere is lively and inspiring without ever feeling chaotic. The staff is friendly, helpful and clearly proud of what they do. The location by the Vistula River adds an extra touch to the whole experience. We truly enjoyed our visit — so much that we can confidently say: 👉 The Copernicus Science Centre is even better than Technopolis.

The museum is interesting and worth spending several hours. The only bad thing was, that it was really overcrowded with school classes when we went there. We came particularly on a week day in the morning, just to find a terribly overfilled museum. it became better only in the afternoon. It would have been really better if they admitted less classes at the same time.

The architecture and location are also worth noting. The centre sits right along the Vistula River and offers access to a rooftop garden with stunning views over Warsaw and the riverbanks. It’s a beautiful, green space that offers a moment of quiet after the buzz of the exhibitions below. As for the practical side: tickets are reasonably priced for what you get, but booking online in advance is essential, especially during weekends and school holidays. It can get very crowded, and entry slots sell out fast. The café on site offers a good range of snacks and meals, though seating can be limited during peak hours. There are lockers, a gift shop, and very clean facilities. What could be improved? During busy times, the centre does feel overcrowded. Some exhibits get worn down from overuse and could benefit from more regular maintenance. Also, while most staff are helpful, not everyone speaks fluent English, which might make asking for help a little trickier for international visitors.

Brest Fortress is one of the most interesting and powerful places I have visited. It’s not just an old building — it’s a place full of history and emotions. During World War II, in June 1941, German soldiers attacked the Soviet Union. The Brest Fortress was one of the first places they attacked. Even though the Soviet soldiers were surrounded and had little food or water, they fought bravely for many days. Some continued to fight for weeks. Their story is amazing. Today, you can walk around the fortress and see many parts of it. There is a big monument called “Muzhestvo” — a giant stone face of a soldier. It really makes you think about what happened here. There is also a museum with old photos, letters, and things that belonged to the soldiers. Everything is shown in a very respectful and interesting way. The whole area is quiet and clean. It’s a good place to learn about history and to remember the brave people who were here. If you are in Brest, you should definitely visit this place. I spent about 2–3 hours here and it was totally worth it.

Impressive fortress complex, with several large monuments, especially "Courage", commemorating the battle fought here against the invading Nazis in June 1941. All very Soviet-style overly dramatic, but still impressive, and worth a visit. Entry to the fortress is free of charge.

if you are in Belarus, be sure to visit this place, the energy of this place is going through the roof. be sure to take a guide to the open part of the memorial complex. history must be known and remembered, and not as it is now fashionable to forget, turn over.

Good museum to give background to the events during WW2 that occurred at the fortress. Some displays are in English, but you can easily get the idea about the artifacts and photographs which have not been translated. Do not miss the excellent museum shop downstairs. Very reasonable prices on some interesting souvenirs, from coins to old bullets.

I recommend to visit this place if you are fan of military and history of wars. Place is amazing and really really big! I also suggest to visit it with guide because you could hear really great story about everything inside. There is a lot of military and culture accents so remember that you are visitor and you are guest here :)

Mir Castle, located in Belarus, is one of the most prominent cultural heritages and recognized by UNESCO. This 16th century Renaissance castle is not only famous for its unique architecture but also associated with many mysterious stories and legends.

A wonderful thing about Belarus management of such landmarks, is that they turn whole area into an open museum, with all its lakes, fields, trees and animals. The place is full of history, arts and beauty of both architecture and nature.

This castle complex was by far my favorite tourist attraction in Belarus. It has been meticulously restored and the ticket covers entry to all aspects of the complex including the museum and cathedral. The signage was good and the personnel were friendly. The nearby Radziwill castle could learn about customer service from this castle. You could spend as much time as you like here and enjoy the beautiful parks surrounding the complex. I recommend at least one night in Mir to see the castle illuminated at night, at sunrise and at sunset. If I had known you can book a room in the castle I would have done that!

The Mir castle is a wonderful and inspiring place. Definitely a must see is the tour inside with beautiful rooms.

I don’t usually enjoy castles but this place was quite impressive and worth the ride from Minsk. Best way to reach is to rent a car for a day. Entrance to the courtyard and surrounding park is free.

Niasvizh Castle is a truly beautiful and historically important place in Belarus. It’s part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, and you can feel its significance the moment you arrive. The architecture, the atmosphere, and the surrounding parkland make it a must-visit. Many elements inside the castle have been replicated or restored, but it still retains a lot of charm. The entrance ticket costs around 19 BYN, and for an additional 5 BYN, you can get an audio guide. There’s also the option to join a guided tour if you prefer more detailed historical context. Walking around the outside of the castle is free, and the views are amazing — especially near the lake, which adds to the peaceful and majestic setting. There are plenty of cafés nearby if you want to take a break or enjoy lunch after your visit.

Extremely great and beautiful castle ! I have never seen anything like this before! Every step makes you wonder! Every room is more beautiful than previous. It is not like ordinary museum, it is like castle still inhabited by people. You can see furniture, dresses, paintings , curtains, bedrooms, even tables are set up for the dinner. You must visit it!

Great castle, shame about the coffee shop, staff are so cold and unhappy it looks like they were slapped by Radzill with a wet fish when they exited the moat. Poor service leaves a terrible taste in your mouth after the great atmosphere of everything else that's going on, just not hospitalityat all but i guess the cold war isnt over for everyone. If staff don't want to be in service they should work in the potato fields. So don't expect a smile, a please or thank you. In fact, don't expect vinegar or mayonnaise with your meal either. Perhaps the chef could ask the girls who should be working in the potato fields because their brand of packet fried potatoes is definitely worse than the one I buy in the local shops.

Very professional restoration and beautiful grounds. I entered from the parking for hotel visitors. The ticket office was closed in the castle entrance and the guard did not understand my question as to where to go. There are poor markings for this information. A young man across the street at a period photo souvenir stand was helpful. I had to go to the other parking lot. When I finally got my ticket and entered, there was no instruction of where to go for the castle tour entrance. To be the number one tourist castle in Belarus the management here needs to improve the experience. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the grounds and the history. The miniature opera house was amazing.

Other than the stupidly standing in the queue to the restroom where you are supposed to pay for the parking, everything else is amazingly impressive

Pretty cool castle - the park around it is a nice place to walk, and the castle itself is quite cool. The museum exhibit starts off with some really fantastic rooms, but gets a bit lamer as you move through it (i.e the chapel was less impressive, and many of the art pieces can be seen in the national museum in Minsk - the ones here are copies). Worth the trip out to visit, if you are spending a few days in Minsk and want to get outside the city!

I would said nothing about place where is the library located . Because there is metro station just few hundred metres out. I wouldn't said nothing about how massive is the building . Because it's really big but looking nice ... Good luck !!

The observation deck entrance is at the back side of the building. Paid some fee, climbed the lift. The deck is overlooking the city of Minsk. Very beautiful view from here. There's a cafe and rooms for art exhibition. At night, we waited to see the light spectacle. Beautiful illumination. It's worth the wait.

Great place to visit with family and children. Territory is huge and you have real examples of different houses in different centuries. To see everything you need whole day. What is more, you can go to several master classes where you can learn how to do some things. On a territory are some places with different animals. Really sad to see hasky dogs in a cages.

Fun place. But that mostly for organized groups that book tours and kids over 8 yrs old. The cafes are ok. The Korchma with Russian-Ukranian good is supposedly one of best at this locale. Most activities and exhibits inside the general park area are at additional cost. At far above average prices.

The largest ethnographic park in Russia! The trip to ETNOMIR is a bright and incredibly informative holiday in the Moscow region all year round. Unique excursions, master classes, animation and folklore programs, authentic country hotels, many cafes of national cuisine, festivals and holidays. More parking space. It is better to visit it on weekends. Nice atmosphere of all over the worls culture, traditions, crafts and workshops. Big territory for walking around. Hasky and bird farm are great )

This is my first time in Etnomir. So, definitely it is a great place. There are many architecture styles that was merged into Mir Street and hotels. I was extremely impressed by facade of the Nepal hotel. In spite of this feeling with family we were staying in the hotel of East Asia and room was clean and sweet. And as we were lucky with the weather we could visit every place in this huge area and just relax in place that out of carbon dioxide and full of the fresh air in harmony with nature
