A nice old building with history, beer garden, and a modern 3 story addition in the back. Kitchen close early at 20:30. My company hosted training at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience. The conference room was spacious. The food was very good and the service excellent. The rooms are a little older but fit into the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Empfang was bad. They put 2 persons in the smallest available room (number 115! Please reject it). Later they upgraded is to a normal room. But still, hospitality was bad. Not what you can excpat for a fullprice fare. Hotel itself is a bit outdated, eighties. No aircon, its well maintained and clean. But could do some upgrading.

We went for a Saturday to Sunday mini trip. Unfortunately, Hotel Hirsau was not suitable. We arrived after 8pm and just made it to the restaurant who were already in a hurry to close. We wanted to use the pool/sauna but couldn't. In the evening on Saturday they were already closed and then we were told that hotel services are not offered after checkout at 11am on Sunday plus the sauna is not on until 2pm. So that didn't work either. This made it impossible for us to use the facilities :-( If you like a relaxed weekend morning, you also won't make it to the breakfast which closes at 10am. This timetable of this hotel is for business but not suited for a leisure weekend visit.

I was so excited to explore and just be I. The same city as this church. The architecture and history here is just stunning. Every area is very detailed and since being built around 1120 it has been maintained and kept in impeccable shape. I would suggest seeing this church. And don’t forget to check out the street filled with monuments and statues of some of the most important figures of the cathedrals/cities history.

I highly recommend the walking city tour to explain the history and meaning behind the memorial. The symbolism depicts the reformation and not just Martin Luther.

Sunday afternoon visit in Worms with Grandparents

If you are Lutheran, this is a great monument to visit. The Crests and names of each City-State that was a part of the council is shown. Well maintained. Many flowers. Braille model for the vision impaired.

One of the most interesting sights in Worms! The history can be experienced best during a guided tour.

I was a guest in the hotel but can not recommend staying here, while the location is excellent, there is little sense of hospitality. When we arrived we asked if we could get a table for dinner. We were told they were all booked out. We did not find anything else we liked in the area, and we had our eyes on the pepper steak on the menu here so we tried our luck again at the restaurant. There was a table free outside, which said it had been reserved for 19h but at this point it was well past 20h and the table was still empty. We said we were guests at the hotel and we were promptly told we can not be seated at the table. We ended up ordering food elsewhere and sitting on the bench in the square, to eat on our lap. The entire time, the table at the Goldener Engel stayed EMPTY. Very inhospitable!!! The rooms are clean and spacious, few extras not even water. Breakfast was sparse if you could even get to it - unfortunately it's tucked into a tiny corner and there's room for one person at a time. Not an ideal stay. I expect more welcoming service from a hotel really! very unfortunate.

Traditional German Gasthof. Comfortable rooms, though the bathrooms are on the tiny side. Good food in the restaurant. The tables outside, on the central marketplace, are the BEST you can choose for a drink.

We called in our desperate need Hotel Goldener Engel, explained our situation (no Tesla Destination charger in the nearby booked Michel Hotel, while google said it was), if we please could charge a few % (we said we wanted to pay ofcourse) but the Goldener Engel Hotel said no: it was only allowed if we booked a room. While we walked around, with our two tired little children, to look for help from anybody, we saw outside that the Tesla charger at the Goldener Engel Hotel wasn't used at this moment.

Absolutely adored this hotel. Romantic and quiet location, clean rooms, loved the vegan breakfast options. 10/10

Located on top of a hill, you can both drive and hike to visit the castle. There are two options for hiking, 1. You take the regular road route up or 2. You take a little more challenging route up the mountain that allows only one person to walk up or down at a time. I took the second route and I must warn you, it looked rarely used and was overgrown with plants, Don't take this route if you are with children. The climb up takes you through plenty of honey farms, and you can also buy honey from these local farms. The hike takes about an hour, depending on your fitness levels. Photographers paradise. There is not much to explore at the Starkenberg castle itself but the view is breath taking. There is a Biergarten located with the castle grounds and the general atmosphere is relaxed. The hostel is incredible !!! Staying two nights at Starkenburg, sleeping in the castle is a great unforgettable memory. Visiting Starkenburg was a fantastic experience! Located just a short and pleasant uphill walk from Heppenheim Bahnhof, this castle is not only steeped in history but also surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Michelstadt is indeed an old town and well worth a visit it goes back to the medieval days, it has a synagogue that you can visit, the once a thriving Jewish community but not since the 1930s , the town pavements are covered in Stolperstein which little cobblestone with the name of the people arrested, deported, and murdered by the Nazis I would recommend a visit to the town

This lovely 15th century building is the main landmark of Michelstadt. Located in the old town area, this building housed the town administration until 1920.

This was during the Eastern market that they have on the weekends around Easter. It's fun they sell some food it isn't big like a Christmas market. But it is a fun place to go and has a festive atmosphere and all the shops are open even on Sunday. They sell some brats and some snitchel some ice cream and things like that

As a Filipina who loves Fairytales Cartoons movie, I always dreamed to see tmreal Castle. But then I Started to love old culture Cities. This City is one of my favorite in my list, which I was so inlove in this town and dreaming to have my next home here. Middle age is here to found! Rathaus was built on 1484 which facinated me that until this Generation this house still standing after many years!

Pleasant small Park,with some Bison,Boar, Damwild..Hirsch, plenty of geese & Ducks on the lake..Not a large park, but just enough to really relax for 2-3 hrs, with small & middle children..Enough Benches to sit or have a picnic around the Park .There is also a small Imbiss, with various 'Wurst' Steaks Pommes..Cafe & kuchen.. With seated area.

Its really imagine place look like heaven I suggest to all of you once time most visit to this place.

Lovely pools and sauna, and quite inexpensive. They also cover the street parking charges. The basic experience itself has two pools, Jacuzzi, a sauna, and a snacks corner. Pretty decent. Will go there again.

The sauna area was very relaxing with the different kinds of ways you can sweat there (Infrared,Classic Herb, Lime/Citrus, Big Hourly Sauna) and the side servings of body scrub. Food was good and a big enough portion size for the prize that you pay. Textile-free Sunbathing and swimming was an experience and I was definetly out of my comfort zone but it's also very relaxing. I would love to return there when I have the chance.

The photos are a lot better than reality - it is too expensive for what you get! The water temperature has been reduced but not the prices - the salt grotto is a big joke, don't waste your money on it. There is nothing cozy like at other thermal baths and you have to park along the road. There are no nice hotels near-by, all very old-fashioned bit expensive due to the vicinity of the so-called thermal baths! We won't go back until the whole structure has been modernised and upgraded!

What a great stadium for football. All the seats put you so close to the action on the field. The supporters section is so wild and crazy. This was my first ever Bundesliga game, and I truly enjoyed my experience

A nice, modern stadium with good views of the pitch from most seats. It’s in the middle of nowhere though, so the pre and post match experience is really stale. It’s possibly the most remote ground I’ve been to.

Such a great Stadium, what a fantastic atmosphere, top crowd, very easy to get to with Publix transport. Highly recommend as someone that visits many Bundesliga grounds.

Stunning Sports Arena! Compact, almost cozy with a phenomenal atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into German Bundesliga Soccer and want to enjoy a “near the lines” sentiment. Mainz vs one of the big logos, Bayern München, Dortmund, Leverkusen, etc. would be my recommendation.

This is a small zoo in Darmstadt, where suitable for a short visit of 2-3 hours. this zoo provide friendly space for children and family activities.

Went for couple hours and I was actually pleasantly with the diversity. Very good park and nice place to spend a day with kids. The internal restaurant is too expensive. Pretty cool activity to do in otherways mostly boring city.

It was very nice experience, not too many animals but at least the prices were reasonable and conveniently little people and walking.

This is a small Zoo but with heart and soul. The animals are treated good, there was enough food and space for each inhabitant. Some animals were lend out to other zoos so not all areas were filled. Entrance fee is really good compared to other zoos I have been to. The prices of the small cafe were too high (~4€ for fries) and it took way to long (~20 mins waiting time for fries...?), queueing excluded. The area is accessible with a wheelchair and the parking lots are close. Will be back for sure.

Not much to see cause not such a big zoo, but very nice and appealing for kids. Benches. Playgrounds. Clean. The crocodile hides and sleeps and not green.... Some listed animals missing. This was very nice for me and the kids.

The small animal park is a great day out with small children. We love the otters and the monkey house! Presently (October 2025) they are doing quite a bit of maintenance which means some of the enclosures are not available. Our family has had a membership since 2010 and highly recommend it.

That was the best museum that I've ever seen. Fossils, ancient Egypt, Knight armours, various minerals and stones, amazing tiffany glass examples, stunning old jewelleries, ancient Rome miniatures and more... It was absolutely amazing. 3 floors took my 3 hours and I could've stay even more.

It is a huge museum having 7-8 sections ranging from science, arts to history. The hardwork of workers in preserving the biological samples is admirable. You can come with kids to give them a good insights into different subjects. It is fantastic museum.

Excellent natural history museum with interesting mineralogical and zoological collections in addition to a range of works of art from both the ancient and modern world. In my opinion the heart of the museum is in the collection of fossils from the nearby Messel site, as they are incredibly well prepared and presented.

A surprisingly fulfilling museum with interesting exhibits in all areas ranging from art and history to the natural world. Be sure to reserve a good three or more hours for this place if you want to get round everything, as it has a vast collection - especially of art. The Max Liebermann exhibition was on when I visited. This was one of the best parts and was a well put together exhibition with interesting pieces. Most of the descriptions of the pieces are in German but this didn't reduce any of the entertainment for me. One kind employee even had a nice chat with me about the permanent collection. Entry is cheap and discounted for students so I undoubtedly recommend a visit as I believe it's one of the most interesting places to visit in Darmstadt!

We came for the art deco section and especially the jewelry part. This is the best display of jewelry I have ever seen. And the rest of the museum is also excellent. Beautiful pieces and excellently displayed. A must see for everyone. Very helpful security, especially in the art deco section where we were pointed towards the available drawers with even more jewelry.

Very interesting exhibits in an amazing beautiful Museum Hause in the heart of Darmstadt town... Enough time is required for visiting every exhibit with no rush, at least 2 to 3 hours. A café is also here to sit and enjoy a pause in between or after the visiting... A good museum for adults with children ....

Great building to look at incase you are a fan of the hundertwasser style. Sadly can only have a look from outside and not able to get in or go to the garden, but then again it is an apartment complex, so quite happy there was a way to go in between the two buildings.

Hidden gem of Mainz! I have been outside in the church cloistered courtyard, which is relatively small but very beautiful and picturesque, many times, however this was my first time inside the church and I was really impressed. I had no idea there was such a beautiful church in Mainz! This place is known for its unique stained-glass windows in luminous blue that were created by Marc Chagall. The light coming through the windows was absolutely stunning and created an almost unreal ambience, I felt like being under water. I have never seen such beautiful lighting in any church I have visited (visited mid-day with clear skies, so nothing was blocking the sun beams to enter the church). I also enjoyed the beautiful modern Organs near the chancel with the altar. There is a little gift shop inside, where you can buy souvenirs like postcards, books and magnets mainly with the blue window theme. Church is wheel-chair accessible and there is no entrance fee. Totally recommend to visit this church as pictures don't really do justice, you must see it with your own eyes to have the full experience. Visited in May 2022.

Beautiful church has many Marc Chagall stain glass. On the negative side, watch you step a member of our party missed the small steps and was carted off to the hospital. Church staff could of cared less. We had to get her there on our own.

Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Mainz!

The massive pillars, soaring ceilings, and the way light filters through the stained glass—it’s like walking into a movie scene. Every corner tells a story. Peaceful yet majestic, this place leaves you in awe. If you visit Mainz and miss this cathedral, you’re truly missing out! ⛪✨

Beautiful cathedral. Lovely garden area as you come in. I was in a bit of a hurry so I was not able to figure out how to climb the tower but I hope I can come back sometime and try. Crypt was neat to see. Fun murals of gospel scenes above the clerestory level along the nave. Some interesting sid chapels to include one of the more vibrant colored crucifixion paintings I've seen in a cathedral.

I really like the cathedral — it’s even more beautiful than the one in Speyer. I adore the red stones and the many towers. It’s so happily situated within the rest of the city. I felt very happy in these surroundings.

The cathedral is beautiful. I came here on a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait at all and there was minimal people inside. Be careful if there is a service happening and be respectful of the space if so. There is a museum but I didn't go inside there. The architecture in the cathedral is worth the visit to come see. Be aware that as of may 2025 there is major construction happening on the outside of the cathedral so it is covered in scaffolding. Its free to enter the church but donations are welcome. Be prepared to translate most of the signage if you do not speak German. There is a wheelchair ramp going into the main section of the cathedral and the main cathedral floor is flat but all of the side rooms and passageways have steps and are not handicap accessible.

Beautifully curated museum with several original printed books, specially 3 bibles. A very good printed demonstration, from the making of the letters to the final printed page, both in English and German with a replica of the printing machine. Negative: A very unhelpful large and seated guardian next to the interactive picture box, most interested in moving people along than in helping with the experience.

You are given a card that lets you activate some of the exhibits, and at the end you can print your photo in the style of block printing onto the card. There is a demonstration of printing and the presenter gave interesting facts and was very knowledgeable.

Awesome experience of the Gutenberg museum and in excellent opportunity to see one of the Gutenberg Bibles. Actually four of them. It's absolutely amazing that these were the first books printed by the Gutenberg press. A worthwhile experience to visit this historic place. Highly recommend visiting the Gutenberg museum and seeing the original Gutenberg Bible. They are absolutely priceless books as every single one of the 47 of them are different because they were sold as separate pages and made into books by the buyers after they purchase them which we understand is the price of a home to purchase the pages back when they were newly off the press

It's a small museum but very well done. When I visited in Nov 2025 they had the word "Moved" in the name to emphasize that it's final location is under renovation and it is just temporarily adjacent to the natural history museum. Indeed I almost wandered into the natural history museum trying to find it. The first room had a 3D table of Mainz and narrated a story of his life (both in English and German). Indeed in spite of what some past reviews said, the museum seems to have stepped up their game and most descriptions were in both German and English. The main attraction, the two original Bibles we're well displayed and surprisingly uncrowded. I was able to go back two and study them.

1.5 hours was NOT enough. Didn't get to the demonstrations upstairs. (I visited the "Moved!" version in June 2025.) Anyone in graphic design, journalism or communications will appreciate the overarching themes and attention to detail. The Bibles themselves, and the additional works displayed alongside them, were presented very well and in an interesting manner.

The Gutenberg Museum is a fascinating and well-worthwhile visit. While I was a bit confused by the natural history aspect, I soon discovered that the main exhibition is temporarily located inside the Natural History Museum—a detail that, once understood, didn't detract from the experience at all. My primary interest was learning more about Johannes Gutenberg, and the museum did an excellent job of that. The exhibits are fantastic, especially the chance to see some of the first printed bibles up close. I also appreciated the use of modern technology to make the history more relatable, particularly the fun machine that lets you create a selfie with a printed page. My only regret is that I didn't get to see a demonstration of the printing press in action. Overall, it's a great experience and excellent value for money.

Valuable experience! The museum is really interesting: it’s a collection of ancient manuscripts, the first original examples of a few books (including the famous Bible 42), interactive news / videos and a display of objects related to the printing machine. You can even see how the printing process was developed in a practical “workshop”. Only one suggestion: if possible add English subtitles to the short films and try to make the demonstration of the printing press also in English (at least once).

The most beautiful park in the neighborhood of Aschaffenburg . Complete privacy with nature . Huge area for walking . Cafe + beer bar . Parking for cars and bicycles, playgrounds . There's boat rentals. This is a great place to spend it with your family.

Just beautiful!! Free Parklplatz !! Very good place for a long walk, quite and in the heart of nature. Very good for parents because they will find places for kids, and they can drink a beer or a caffe near them. You have very much things to see and you can take for this place a few hours. You will find two farms with cows and horses, and much more types of ducks. Exists some bridges what give you a beautiful pic of the park . For me was a very beautiful experience.

Great park with lots to see and do. The hire boats are are excellent and quite cheap. There’s play areas and a maze for children. A tower to climb. The restaurant is nice with lots of helpful staff. The beer garden is also good.

This is my favorite park next to my grandma's house. It is so beautiful. The trails throughout the park are amazing. It's nice to be in the nature and easy access to Aschaffenburg through a straight shot trail.

Very big and lovely park with a lot of gastronomy for every budget. You can enjoy the different paths, observe a lot of birds and discover lovely buildings for different purposes. The park is very cured and you feel cosy in every corner of it.

You have to be sure to do the garden maze! It’s so much fun, both for adults and kids. There’s also a viewing platform to watch everyone getting lost in the maze!

In the heart of the Germany, this is park in English style. You can do many things here, from wandering through the maze of bushes, to riding in the wooden bout, or you can just walk. Everything is so clean and well maintained, and I was surprised by greatness.

this is definitely a museum that you should take the time to see. They have three floors a various artist and art. It’s quite pricey. It’s €18 per person which I find expensive. entrance. People at the cashier were very nice. They were helpful. They also have bathrooms which were very clean a gift shop they also had a small café with a lovely young lady behind it who could speak English I’m always happy when that happens since I don’t speak German and I ordered a piece of the apple pie which she recommended and it was delicious and a cup of cappuccino. It’s a nice way to spend 2 to 3 hours enjoying the beautiful art.

Was skeptical it would be worth the 16 euro entry fee but for what you get, the price is reasonable or even cheap. The sheer scale of this place and the range in its collection is mind boggling. Beautifully curated. Temporary exhibition that was on at my time of visit was also very thought provoking. Exhibits range from religious paintings to contemporary paintings to sculptures to photographs and multimedia. I almost missed the underground exhibits but 100% make it a point to stop by. The modern experimental art is incredible (funded by various German institutions I believe). Genuinely could spend hours there. You can casually see famous artists works displayed. Lovely staff as well. 10/10. That’s how you do an art museum!!

Had a nice experience and spent my time well. There was Carl Schuhe collection when I went and I really like it. Also went up to the rooftop and saw the city skyline. The cafe is also cozy and has good collection of cakes. 18 EUR well spent.

The contemporary art floor is also super interesting, full of creative and thought-provoking pieces. Everything is well organized and beautifully displayed. A must-visit for anyone who loves art! Amazing collection of Classical, contemporary & Modern works of art. Easily able to spent 3 hours there. Also the view of Frankfurt skyline was very impressive. Didn't have to go to the Main Tower for it.

Fantastic art museum with a strong mix of German masters and international icons. You’ll see everything from Renaissance to contemporary art. My personal favorite: “Youth Tempted by the Vices” by Luca Giordano — dramatic, full of energy, and unforgettable. A cultural must-see in Frankfurt!

An overall pleasant space surrounded by beautiful architecture, artistically designed staircase leading up to the rooftop terrace, overlooking the River Main and Frankfurt’s skyline. Stadel didn’t seem to have as many star attractions as some of the larger museums, but Schuch and French Art exhibition was an interesting theme. I downloaded their app to see if that would work as an audio guide, but it unfortunately didn’t work.

Very crowded all the time of the day. There are trains to all parts of Europe from this central station. The station is quite big and it is decently maintained. The trains I took from here were all on time. Even the S bahn can be taken from this station only

It’s well-connected with trains to all of Germany and Europe, and offers plenty of shops, cafés, and food options. It can get crowded and the area outside feels a bit rough at night, but overall it’s an efficient and impressive travel hub.

Historic beautiful station, it is very busy with 30+ railway tracks. You can buy souvenirs even late night at the railway station

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is a major transportation hub and offers excellent connectivity, quick links to regional trains, long‑distance services, suburban S‑/U‑Bahn lines, and a large selection of food outlets and shops. According to recent rankings it even borders on being one of Europe’s better large stations. On the flip side, the station and especially its surrounding district have mixed reviews: many passengers mention crowding, hygiene issues (including unpleasant odours in some areas), and a part of the neighbourhood that feels somewhat rough after dark. If you’re passing through during the day with luggage and clear destination, it’s very serviceable and worth using. At night or if you plan a long stay in the area, just be a bit cautious.

Frankfurt Central Station is a large train station with attractive architecture and an impressive building. Fortunately, you can find various restaurants and services inside the station. Unfortunately, there are many beggars in the area who constantly ask for money and food. The station itself is relatively clean and organized, but unfortunately, the paths leading to the subway and lower levels often smell of urine. Also, using the restrooms requires payment, and another important point is that the platform (Gleis) for trains can change until the very last minute, so it's recommended to continuously check the platform information until your train arrives. Additionally, the DB information service is always helpful and answers your questions well, and I was satisfied with their service.

This is the main station that serves the Frankfurt city. S Bahn, U Bahn, trams and all long distance regional bahn and IC and ICE trains are staring and ending from here. Most of the officials speaks English and people are friendly. A safe location to travel solo. Always congested and full of people.

Great place to take a walk. You can start with the bridge and then go through promenade. You can get there with an elevator, so it is accessible for people with disabilities. Really fine and pleasant view. You can also go sightseeing with a boat. Pretty cool place.

Magnificent place with excellent views. I came to know about this bridge by my favourite movie Bommarillu (Telugu/India). Got rain while I was on the bridge, but didn't affect much. There are some surrounding places good for memory.

The iron bridge is a great sight. From the entrance to the other end, it is only a matter of a few minutes, but you will have covered an old iron bridge traversed billions of times. The bridge is a large one with wide steps leading to the entrance. Though it is a footbridge, it is wide enough for several people to walk side by side. It is also very good for photographs. It has become a landmark in Frankfurt. When we visited it, there were several other visitors proving that it is a popular tourist destination. Lovers used to leave locked padlocks on the bridge. Now there are tens of thousands of such locks on the bridge.

Eiserner Steg is an old iron bridge spreading across the Main river connecting Frankfurt old town with residential area on the southern bank. It's a nice historic structure now only for pedestrian traffic. I strongly suggest crossing it as it offers terrific views of entire Frankfurt, both modern and old town. Likewise many such bridges there're many love locks along it

Love the organization during the pandemic with time sloths and buying tickets in advance. Even during the warmest period it wasn’t too crowded. The toilets could be cleaner, they were really smelly. Although my kids are not there yet, the way they decide who pays the adult tickets is nonsense- they have 1€ price for kids under 99cm, everyone else pays normal adult ticket.🙄

Considering that this is newly built just a few years ago, the cost of the build and the cost of entrance the design of some things are very poor. Overall I would not say that this is friendly enough for families. There are very few cubicles suitable for more than one person, and 2 adults and one small child is very right squeeze. The bench is barely big enough to sit on, not enough hanging hooks and serious lack of space. Baby changing facilities are terrible and there is a lack of understanding of the needs of kids. The pools themselves are ok, but again suffer from bad design. The baby splash pool is separated from the others, so you can't look after a baby in there and keep an eye on larger kids in the kids pool. The kids pool also doubles as the relaxing pool with various relaxation features for adults. But this means that the kids in the pool have less room for playing because (mostly elderly) adults want to relax and are not considerate of the kids needs. The showers are also very badly designed. It is possible to look into the mens and see them showering naked and going to the toilet as there are no doors or barriers. The ladies has a small barrier but not much better. The showers also offer no privacy from each other and there is only one small place to hang your towel in the middle of the room. So you have to walk to/from the shower to this location naked to get your towel where everybody can see in!

The service is absolutely perfect, the view, the experience everything is worth it but unfortunately the food is not that special. I would expect more from a michelin star restaurant. It wasn’t bad dont get me wrong, it just wasnt 1000€ good. Dubai, tel aviv and other cities with michelin star restaurants were just better food wise.

I found it a bit too pricey and the portions are tiny, even that it is the tasting menu. The food was very good, very artistic and service was very good, not too fancy. However, I would appreciate some local touch and use of more local products instead of constantly mentioning how their tomatoes came from the best Spanish tomatoes (where exactly in Spain lol) or some French vegetables or even more far away places. Wine by glass is too expensive too and wine pairing, consisting of 6 glasses of 100ml glasses is way too big for me, I would not be able to drink a whole bottle of wine alone.

My sister and I were in the lounge and had a few drinks (Mojitos, Negroni, Espresso Martini, Macallan Whiskey) as well as the cheese selection. Everything was very tasty and beautifully prepared. The view was amazing and the staff very attentive and friendly.

Excellent cuisine with a view. The Main Tower delivers a beautifu viewl of the city and some delicious molecular gastronomy, but lacks in ambience and service. The setting is a bit austere and does not have the opulence of some other fine dining establishments. The service is typical German: to the point. The dishes were explained well, but it was all transactional. If you don't order the wine course - good luck. Cocktails and other drinks were hard to come by - my sole cocktail was never offered for a refill, water refills were also rather slow. The pace of the dinner is very slow, one truly can relax and enjoy the meal over 4+ hours with the nice sunset view of the city. All the courses were expertly crafted and very good to exceptional. Only a few, such as the quail for main course was sub-par. It is a bit pricey and I must admit the experience, while very good, just didn't have the wow factor we were looking for.

Since I live in Frankfurt (which is about 3 years) I've always wished to experience this amazing Panorama Restaurant, highlight of the city. I had luck, as I called only 10min before my arrival to book a table, and had luck to receive one (normally one needs to book days earlier, and sometimes weeks). Needless to say I was amazed with the beautiful panorama and the simple, yet sophisticated interior of the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Some of the ingredients were complete new to me (as I usually stick to me personally known recepies). Every course was presented in details by the competent and very polite and professional waiter. Special thanks to the waiter Mr. Wilhelm (I hope I rememmber correctly) who made our experienced so pleasant. With regards to the price, I would not say it is expensive. It’s amazing here, many walking tours also start at this point. This is like a prime touristy spot. Many souvenir are also around and restaurant with various different culture and countries are available. There is also a shopping mall nearby on walking distance. I suggest anyone visiting Frankfurt to visit here

Beautiful historical site. The Romer still stands in Frankfurt in all its majesty. This medieval building is perhaps the city's most important landmark. In the past it was regarded as the most beautiful square in Germany. Now it is a very popular square and a very good spot for photographs. Romer is the seat of the Frankfurt city administration. There was a sizable crowd there when we went to it. There was also some preparations going on for an upcoming national event.

The Römer is absolutely stunning - a must-see when visiting Frankfurt! The old town square around it is full of charm, with half-timbered houses, cafés, and plenty of photo spots. You really get a feel for the city’s history here. It’s especially nice in the evening when the lights come on, and during the Christmas market it looks magical. Easy to reach by foot or public transport, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. A perfect place to start exploring Frankfurt!

Beautiful and awe-inspiring cathedral in Frankfurt. Majestic structure which has peculiar aesthetic finish, especially inside it. What strikes a visitor first is the marvellous collection of statues and paintings. It is not very spectacular when viewed from a distance but when you are inside you are wonder-struck at the great assemblage of rare statues and paintings. The tall columns and arches all add to the grandeur of the cathedral. The picture of St Bartholomew being flayed alive gives a shudder to you.

Quite unique as an cathedral, as the entire architecture was painted in ♥️ red; and the famous story is that all the surroundings were mostly destroyed during WWII, but not Frankfurt Cathedral.

It's a place to be! First church here was built in 7th century! And particularly this cafedral was fully built in 1550 and saw many kings of the Wholy Roman Empire crowned! If you compare the pictures from 17 century and nowadays, you feel the importance and richness of history of this place! By the way, being here is not about Christian or whatever, this is about enriching yourself culturally! I stress it from my non- Christian background!

Must go! I'm not religious and wasn't planning on going. Would have regret. It's very impressive! There was a old lady greater who didn't apostatize and gave me a full run down of Frankfurt and the church's role.

I visited there as I had seen a lot of good reviews. Inside walls and murals were so beautiful!

Very nice and newly-renovated church, with amazing paintings from the 17th century. Thomas guided us throughout its history with its passion and availability, and I am looking forward to come back for the next organ recital. Highly reccomended!

Beautiful garden, it's so soothing to walk here. Families with kids, couples and groups enjoyed the mood. Next time we'll visit them on weekdays because the crowd was huge. We anticipated amazing butterflies but there weren't many.

The palmengarten was absolutely stunning and well taken care of, lots to see and the atmosphere is amazing. Its a great place for all ages, they have an awesome play area for the kids too. I just wish there were more toilets but other then that the place is a must see

Took my girlfriend on a date here and would happily return for more (both to the girl and the garden). The ticket price is well worth the experience, and I’d strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking to escape the cityscape into a lovely area of natural beauty. My only complaint was that it was so popular that many other people had the same idea I did, resulting in some over-crowding in a few of the areas. But overall, it receives 5 stars from me and a desire to return to lose myself there in the future.

Vast, almost otherworldly botanic gardens. Fascinating any time of the year if you have any interests in plants and botany. I went in autumn and the park was radiant with autumn colour. I went round clockwise from the Palmentgartenstrasse side and the think this was best. Started with nice lake views then onto the butterfly house and then the mind boggling greenhouses with various climate controlled zones.

Excellent botanical garden! Very large, with a wide variety of ecosystems. The tropicarium ranges from the Himalayan mountains to the deserts of South America. Above the waterfall there is a nice city view. In the underground grotto, there are aquariums with fish and plants from all over the world.

We had some time to waste before a flight and this was the perfect place - in fact it might become a routine to spend time here to finish the yearly Europe stay. Very well mentioned from the grow houses to the passways and bathrooms. It would be amazing if one of the snack stations had vegan options on the menu (might have overlooked one?) Whether you’re a nature lover, a photographer, or simply looking for a serene break from city life, Palmengarten is a must-visit. It’s suitable for all ages and offers something year-round—lush greenery in summer, colorful blossoms in spring, and atmospheric strolls in the cooler months.

Pretty great zoo, pretty quiet when I visited. Great variety of animals and species I had never seen before. Loved all of the birds! Pity the shops in the zoo were cash only though! But I enjoyed my time at the zoo with my photos. I would recommend but wouldnt need all day to visit!

This zoo offers incredible value with prices significantly better than what I experienced at Dublin Zoo (my only prior comparison). The atmosphere was wonderfully nice and friendly. Unfortunately, my visit was constrained by a flight, which forced me to rush and prevented me from seeing the entire park. Prospective visitors should note that certain popular enclosures, like the giraffes, close 30 minutes prior to the main zoo closing time, which I missed. Overall, it was a very positive experience and a great place to visit on a Sunday in Germany.

The reptile and nocturnal houses were really cool! Coming from the United States there were a lot of animals I don't see very often in American zoos. It's small-ish in size but they really pack in a lot of animals without feeling like they're in small enclosures. We got here late in the day and spent about 2.5 hours here but we could've spent another hour or two.

What a fantastic day at the Frankfurt Zoo! A definite highlight for me was the penguin 🐧🐧🐧🐧 enclosure. They are so charming and fun to watch as they waddle around and swim gracefully in the water. The whole zoo is beautifully laid out with so many amazing animals to see. Highly recommend it for a perfect day out! ❤️❤️❤️

It's a small zoo, do not plan to visit for longer than two hours. It's nice but definitely not a destination. Small kids would enjoy a visit, it's not too full with people and you can easily get around on foot. Make sure to bring cash though if you're planning on having a snack (they do not accept anything else. Also Beware, the coffee at the park is a crime against humanity! The dark habitat and the reptile and rodent pavilion deserve a special mention, the animals all seem well taken care of and the enclosures look adequate for the inhabitants. Absolutely worth a visit.

We had been so looking forward to visiting the zoo in Frankfurt. But it was a complete disappointment. You had to look for a long time for a place to buy either coffee or something to eat. Where were the giraffes? Elephants, lions and tigers. We had been most looking forward to seeing them. There were none of these animals, so definitely not worth the money. So we left very disappointed.

On the good side, there are many kinds of animals, lush and pretty easy to walk around as it’s not too large. The downside was that it’s a bit worn down and old, we didn’t see any lions, tigers and other animals. One penguin looked like it was screaming and dying. Other guests were not too respectful to the animals, banging on the glass wall and pouring water on them. It’s fine for the price though, but 1,5 hours was enough.
