Amusement park
LEGOLAND Germany is a family-friendly amusement park featuring thrilling rides and an aquarium, as well as impressive replicas of German landmarks constructed from LEGO bricks. Visitors can opt to stay at the LEGOLAND Hotels within the Holiday Village, which offers access to various amenities including restaurants, playgrounds, and a high ropes course. The park also provides opportunities for guests to observe the LEGO manufacturing process and create their own LEGO bricks. Additionally, there are water rides that offer an adrenaline rush.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 We had an amazing time at LEGOLAND Germany! The whole family enjoyed it from start to finish. October was a perfect time to visit—great weather and fun Halloween decorations throughout the park added to the magic. There were rides for all ages, and the kids especially loved the playgrounds and interactive areas. One of the smartest features: dedicated play zones near some of the rides so kids can stay entertained while adults wait in line—brilliant! The park layout is very manageable—flat and easy to walk without feeling exhausting. Bathrooms were accessible and food prices weren’t too crazy for a theme park, which was a pleasant surprise. All around, a fun and memorable family day. We’ll definitely be back (got the annual pass)!

A very successful experience for children aged 4-12. A large place with lots of options that are very difficult to complete in one day due to the long lines for most of the facilities. You have to arrive with a lot of patience. Overall, this is a park where the attractions themselves are not crazy, but the "wrapping" of Lego does its job. The place is very neat and clean and easy to navigate. Overall, this is a recommended day out for the family.
Yonatan A — Google review
This is in my opinion the best of the 3 Legoland parks in Europe. Everything is good value here, especially the food and the quality of said food is fantastic. I went into the pizza restaurant and paid around €16 for a fresh out of the oven pizza and amazing chocolate tart. They both felt like they came from an expensive restaurant, very tasty and beautiful presentation. You have the best selection of rides here from small to thrilling. A really good variety - the best being Maximus. An absolutely thrilling b&m coaster which despite the short ride time, offers some incredible moments of weightlessness. The park is kept tidy and clean - the bathrooms are cleaned very regularly. Queues are managed well and have the bonus of single rider if you're a lone traveller like me. Saves a lot of time. Theres a few little themed shops dotted around and although a couple were closed on my trip due to the time of year possibly, there's still a lot on offer. More than any other Lego park in Europe like I said. I had the best 2 days here and I can't wait to come back again.

We took the kids to Germany and our first stop before traditional castles and museums was Legoland Germany! We LOVED it. Drove straight from airport to the hotel (we stayed at the Pirate Hotel), checked in, then did a full afternoon and evening till close. We ate at the steak restaurant near hotels and onsite for snacks, lunch, etc. We prepaid for breakfast at Pirate hotel. Because of birthdays, we did the birthday package (they decorated the room and more) and because tip mattered we did the VIP package. THIS was worth every penny! We skipped the line at every ride, got extra swag & mini figures, and store discounts [don’t forget to ask for tax refund forms at the store (typically 100 or more spent)]. The staff are awesome and most are bilingual if you are rusty. If you are a LEGO fan or traveling Germany with kids, this place is worth every penny! For the super fans, they had themes we found no where else (e.g. adventure series at the log ride); and rides that are not found at the US Legolands. Augsburg and Ulm are nearby if you need a culture/ museum break.
Chris D — Google review
We spent lovely 2days here, great experience for us, adults and our kids. We had lovely weather, so a lot of people arrived, and some attractions were crowded, and we had to wait. Luckily it was just occasionally. Plus was Halloween decorations and products that can bring home🎃🎃 Thank you, will come again.
Katerina J — Google review
Great place for young kids . We spent one day there , 2 would have been better as we didn’t see everything. Very reasonable as once you pay all the rides are free . Ideal kids age 5-12.
Felicity W — Google review
An absolute dream holiday location for my family and I. My son and daughter loved it, the rides were great, food was good and queues were decent. Staff were very friendly, parking wasn't an issue and having Peppa Pig Park right next door made it ideal for my 2 year old daughter too! It was also great fun for my wife and I. Unforgettable memories were made and we cannot wait to visit once again!
David C — Google review
If you or your kids like LEGO then you must visit, the place is huge and there are a lot of activities for all ages. To really cover it you need at least 2 days to get on most of the rides. The only downside is the large ques that form so you don't like to wait a lot then maybe pay more for the express pass. You can also get tickets online for both the park and the parking which I recommend to save some time.

Ulm Minster

Lutheran church
Sights & Landmarks
The Ulmer Münster is a Lutheran church built in Gothic style, located in the heart of Ulm City. It boasts the world's tallest steeple at 161.53 meters high and features an impressive carved choir. The church is considered a must-visit landmark in Germany, offering visitors a glimpse into the Middle Ages with its lovely Gothic architecture.
I visited the Ulm Minster on my birthday and it was such a special experience. The structure is absolutely breathtaking – you can’t help but be amazed by how tall and detailed it is. I found out it’s actually the tallest church in the world, with a spire reaching about 161 meters high! It took several centuries to complete, starting in the 14th century and finally finishing in the late 1800s. Walking around the cathedral, I was blown away by the gothic architecture and how well-preserved everything is. The inside is peaceful and beautiful, and just standing there made me feel so small in the best way. I didn’t climb the tower this time, but even from the outside, it’s super impressive. If you’re ever in Ulm, you must visit this place. It made my birthday truly memorable. Totally worth it! 😊
Pankaj S — Google review
Every nice church. This church has the tallest tower in the world. You can pay 7 Euros and walk all the way to the top. Please ensure that you are semi fit....it is a long and winding staircase of over 750 steps. But the view is worth it. They are currently doing some restorations to the church so please bear with the noise.
Lewis M — Google review
Ulm Minster is breathtaking both inside and out. The Gothic architecture is incredibly detailed, and the interior is full of history — especially the 15th-century choir stalls with their intricate wood carvings. The highlight, of course, is climbing the tallest church spire in the world. It’s 768 steps up a narrow staircase, but the panoramic view over the city and, on clear days, even the Alps, makes it worth every step. Inside, the atmosphere is peaceful and bright, with beautiful stained-glass windows and an impressive organ. The Münsterplatz around the church is also lively, with cafés and markets (the Christmas market here is fantastic). Be prepared: the tower climb is steep and not for everyone, but if you can manage it, it’s unforgettable. Overall, Ulm Minster is one of Germany’s greatest landmarks. Highly recommended!
Sumit P — Google review
It's majestic building! Breathtaking from inside and outside. There's a lot of things to say about this place but if you like to visit place like this - you must! Instead of talking about it, I will share some photos for you ☺️

€9, Oct 2025 To climb to the top of church 768 stairs, quite an exercise Pity that there is not much to see above. Mostly covered Cool thing that you can pay with card 👍👍👍
Chang Y — Google review
Ulm Minster is an awe-inspiring masterpiece of Gothic architecture and holds the distinction of having the 2nd tallest church tower in the world. Standing at 161.53 meters. It's interior is very impressive and magnificent with stained glass window and majestic Hall.
Sarath P — Google review
Ulm Minster is an absolute must-see — not only for its record-breaking spire, but also for the sense of calm and beauty it offers. It’s very easy to reach, just a short and pleasant walk from Ulm’s main train station through the charming old town. When I visited, there was some ongoing renovation work, with padding and scaffolding around the front and upper sections, which did slightly spoil the full view of the façade. However, the minor distraction did not take away from the overall experience — once you step inside, the atmosphere completely changes. The city’s noise fades away, replaced by a deep sense of peace and stillness. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a quiet moment of reflection, Ulm Minster is a beautiful and easily accessible place to visit.
Girish V — Google review
The Ulm Minster is absolutely breathtaking and a must-see if you visit Ulm. Its towering spire — the tallest church tower in the world — dominates the skyline and offers incredible views if you climb to the top. The interior is just as impressive, with beautiful stained glass windows and a peaceful, majestic atmosphere. You can really feel the history and craftsmanship that went into every detail. Whether you’re interested in architecture, history, or just want a stunning view over the city, the Ulm Minster is unforgettable.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Located in the fishing district near the Danube, Schwörhaus is a captivating red and yellow baroque building from the 17th century. Today, it serves as the city museum. Every year, the elected mayor takes an oath here in front of residents. The building holds historical significance and houses an intriguing archive that tells the impressive story of Ulm. It's not only a great place to explore Ulm's history but also offers a glimpse into its oldest building.
Every year, the mayor comes out to promise to his people various stuff. I never believe his words and probably never will, because he is telling truth only 80% of the time, but the building still looks cool!

Must visit! Kids had lot of fun. We were there on weekday so we could take most of the rides. Not much rush on weekends. Still we couldn’t cover everything. Need multiple visits if you plan to experience every ride. Food options are also great.

We was at the first time in Skyline Park near Bad Wörrishöfen. Not really crowded as used from other parks. Fair prices for food and beverages. Some attractions seemed a little bit older. Employees were helpful but not friendly. Overall it’s worth to visit Skyline Park especially with smaller children.

a wonderful amusement park! unfortunately it is only in German... all the information! there is no long waiting time! you must have printed the tickets! check the program there is a fireworks show some days at 11:00 pm!
Maria D — Google review
This is an excellent park to visit if you all about the rides! The rides are great. Including some that I had never seen before in other parks. Many of the rides are not for kids under 1.40cm and they are worth it! We visited the park middle of the week. Off season and with some small rain. And we had the feeling that we have the whole park to ourselves!! Stuff is friendly and all rides are operational even if you are the only one there!! It has less of the fairytale park but for hardcode riders!!! Loved it!
Boris D — Google review
Wonderful experience for the whole family - or you can just go crazy with your friends! The entry fee is a bit expensive for the first look, but you got value for your money. The food and drinks are at reasonable prices - not double takedown, and I really appreciate it. The park is clean, the staff is really kind and helpful. Grab a map at the entrance and you can spend the whole day there. Highly recommended for everyone!
Csaba S — Google review
Nice choice of rollercoasters, roundabouts, and other rides. Plenty of opportunities to dine, quite some at reasonable prices. The experience very much depends on the length of the waiting queues and thus on the number of people visiting the park. We went on a Friday in August, where many Bavarians are on vacation, so it was great. Kids with a birthday +- 5 days of the visit are free. Reduced fees for all under 1.50m. Most really heavy rides are free from 1.50m and 14 years of age.
Ron M — Google review
We went here on 3 November during kids autumn break, knowing it was the last week before Skyline closes for winter break: we paid the full price as it would of been summer season, a lot of amusements did not work as well as small huts with snacks were also closed. The staff for the rides were extremely RUDE and moody. We started to question if that was after Halloween mood or what has happened but everyone working there was super grumpy. It was quite disappointing experience and not worth of the money we spent.
Ieva S — Google review
If you want to use the train you have to walk 10-15 minutes from the station Rammingen bay to arrive the parking space and from there enter the park. If you are alone walking through empty fields might feel a bit uneasy. At least for me as a solo visitor arriving there early Sunday. You are provided with a useful map at the ticket booth. Adrenaline seekers should pick red-marked-equipments. There are beautiful sites for nature lovers as well. You need at least 5-6 hours to walk around and stay in line for your favourite games. The price and distance worth the adventure.

Pile Dwelling Museum

Specialty Museums
The Pile Dwelling Museum, also known as Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen, is an open-air museum that offers a glimpse into the Stone Age village reconstruction. Visitors can explore the lake dwellings and witness demonstrations of ancient handicrafts. The museum features reconstructions of homes and buildings, providing insight into the lives of farmers, fishers, and families from that era. Guided tours explain the historical significance while offering activities for children such as ax-making and fire-starting.
A fantastic an thoroughly researched reconstitution of lakeside pile dwellings dating back 4000 years and which seem to have been abandoned around 800 BC. Very interesting and well documented copies of original artifacts and information about the way of life, diet, clothing, funerary rites and known technologies of the times. The lake level used to be 5m higher at the time. The site was abandoned due to a significant drop of temperatures (global cooling? ;o)
Marc S — Google review
My visit to the Pile Dwelling Museum in Unteruhldingen was a fantastic experience. The museum is beautifully designed and the reconstructed dwellings are truly impressive. It's clear that a great deal of care and expertise went into bringing this historical settlement to life. Walking along the boardwalks and seeing the houses up close really makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. However, as an English speaker, I found the experience to be a bit limited. While the visual aspects are stunning, there isn't much information available in English. The films and cinema presentations, which seem like they would be very informative, are purely in German. Adding subtitles in English, French, or other languages would be a huge improvement and would allow more international visitors to fully appreciate the rich history and research presented here.
Vishal — Google review
I'm a history nerd, so I was really engaged in showing my 4 (she says nearly 5) year old daughter the way our early early ancestors lived. The museum has an outdoor area, an indoor exebition and 2 short movies playing constantly. Outdoor you can visit several pole houses dating back +-3000years in time, but our guide told us, not all houses are original and local. They gathered several cultures and rebuild the houses exactly as they did in the early days. Some parts of the tour are really nice but they also neglected a small area on the side where docu's where made about this era. Our biggest issue appeared to be our small dog, because dogs are only allowed on the outdoor village and not welcome in the movies area and indoor exebition (mostly containing original tools made of stone, bronze or iron). This divided our small family into 2 teams during the visit. The museum is located in a touristic area, where swimming in the lake, playing minigolf, playing in a outdoor wooden playing area for children, and even several eating options are located. It's located near Meersburg but for me it's worth the 5km travel outside this historic city and make a beautiful relaxing day full of playing, exploring and a bit of history. Children and dogs are free in the museum.

Blumberg is situated at the very southern edge of the Black Forrest and also the last German town before the Swiss border
Traveler — Google review
The new visitor center is great, using the latest tech to explain the history in a relatable and immersive way. The reconstructed houses are kept simple, with basic info panels and props to show how they were used. By the time you've done them all, it is getting repetitive. The one-way system didn't work because some doors were locked. There is no excuse for having so much content in German only, even in the brand new multimedia part, considering this is the area's main tourist attraction (and supposed wet-weather saviour), and the majority of other guests were from outside Germany.
Graham B — Google review
I wish I could understand German, cause most of informartion was missed due to language barrier. My kids loved a lot of birds there.
Dmitrij M — Google review
We visited on a weekday. Highly recommend to come close to the opening hour: it will allow you to look around without crowds. The tour starts with several virtual rooms, you can be explorers, who have found the remains of pile houses. After that you get a short information tour on the place and then you can go and explore by yourself. The staff is very helpful and happy to answer any questions, sometimes turning them to a small tour. There's also a lot of information written on the buildings, allowing you to know more about historical aspects. Taking pictures is allowed outside, but not in the buildings.
Irina K — Google review
Museum management is arrogant and rude, there was no information that said no pictures and no staff present. Don't waist your time here. There is a great free children's playground and beach right there but bring a picnic.

Muottas Muragl

Mountain peak
Sights & Landmarks
Lookouts
Muottas Muragl is a 2,456-meter mountain peak accessible by hiking or funicular. Located at Punt Muragl between St. Moritz and Pontresina, it boasts an eatery and viewing platform with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountaintops. The funicular at 8,055 meters takes visitors to the top where they can enjoy cocktails on the terrace or dine inside with great dinner options.
Provided the weather is good, this place is absolutely spectacular. Probably one of the best views in the Engadin. Some niche short to medium walks. Good restaurant and nice terrace. Highly recommended. You can walk back to St. Moritz via the magical Staezer forest.
Mfo — Google review
Muottas Muragl sits majestically above the Upper Engadin Valley, offering one of Switzerland’s most breathtaking panoramic viewpoints. Reached easily by the historic Muottas Muragl funicular departing from Punt Muragl station this mountain terrace perches at 2,454 meters, commanding sweeping vistas of crystalline lakes (Silvaplana, St. Moritz and Sils), the Engadin floor, and the soaring peaks of the Bernina Range. The viewing platform is the star attraction. On a clear day, you can spot over a dozen 4,000-meter-plus mountains, including Piz Bernina and Piz Palü. Sunrise and sunset visits are especially magical: the alpenglow casts pink and gold hues across snow-capped summits and mirror-calm lakes, creating postcard-perfect photo opportunities. In winter, the terrace transforms into a snowy wonderland, while summer brings wildflower carpets and the gentle hum of grazing marmots. Beyond the viewpoint, Muottas Muragl offers multi-day hiking trails and loop walks that link to adventurous itineraries such as the Muottas Muragl to Fuorcla Minor ridge trail while families can enjoy easy panoramas routes. The on-site panoramic restaurant serves hearty Alpine fare think Bündner barley soup, Rösti with local cheese, and freshly baked Apfelstrudel paired with excellent regional wines and coffees, all enjoyed alongside the grand view. Facilities include a sun terrace, souvenir shop stocking handcrafted Swiss-Italian goods, and telescope stations for up-close glimpses of distant peaks. Clean, well-maintained restrooms and a viewing telescope make every visit comfortable and engaging. Muottas Muragl is more than a lookout point; it’s an immersive Alpine experience that combines effortless access, spectacular scenery, and Swiss hospitality. Whether you’re chasing sunrise, indulging in gourmet mountain cuisine, or simply seeking serenity above the clouds, this mountaintop gem is an unmissable highlight of the Engadin.

From the bottom to the top is a fun and in places steep funicular trip. The views from the top are stunning and the trails accommodate all levels. Well worth the trip but the price is too high if your hotel does not provide you with a local travel card so make sure to ask about that!

Muottas Muragl is a top-notch destination and a must-visit attraction in St. Moritz. You can reach this stunning spot by taking the famous funicular train from Punt Muragl station, which is accessible by bus from the city. Note that your Swiss Pass doesn't work here, but with a local mountain pass, the fare is only 10 CHF. Once you arrive, you're greeted with spectacular views that are truly breathtaking. Whether you choose to enjoy a coffee while soaking in the scenery or go trekking along the trails, the experience is unforgettable. The photo below gives you a glimpse of the incredible vistas you can expect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting St. Moritz!

Amazing hikes and views ! Train to the top is very expensive 50eur per person(roundtrip) but wort it. The train is going only once in 30min so i would recomend to check timetible. We missed it and waited 30min in lobby.

Absolutely magnificent area for easy hiking routes and especially to enjoy sunsets! The tranquility and views were out of this world. Train takes around 15 minutes to reach the top and from there you can take short 10 minute walk to enjoy the sunset. There's even plenty of benches and blankets, if you're visiting the place in winter.

Lake St. Moritz is a stunning body of water surrounded by green hills and snowy mountains, creating a picturesque setting for various activities. In the winter, polo matches take place here, adding to the area's allure. The town of St. Moritz sits on the south side of the lake, offering a charming hillside view and access to an observation deck with breathtaking scenery. On the east bank, there is a large shallow rock beach where visitors can enjoy the cool waters during early summer days.
It takes about 1 hour to walk around the lake. Easy trail and great views

Beautiful lake to spend time by. It was so calm and silent here. We came around about 4-30 pm in the evening in September. It was empty, just saw a few people walking around. We sat here had some food and enjoyed the whole atmosphere! Clean air and calm vibes. Lovely to spend time here. The temperature was also so perfect to enjoy.
Sujay S — Google review
The lake in St. Moritz is not one of the larger lakes. Now that we are in August, it is hard to imagine what it is like here when the lake freezes, people are skating and supposedly horse races are even held on the lake! It is very nice to walk along the lake and enjoy watching the ducks. They are smaller and darker than the ducks I know.
Bogdan M — Google review
Had a pleasant stroll around the lake, it was a windy but sunny day, we stopped by to watch the ducks and had our sandwiches on one of the benches. Amazing view of the lake and the mountains in autumn setting 🧡
Meliii R — Google review
This beautiful lake has drawn travelers since ancient times, with mineral springs attracting visitors centuries before St. Moritz became a winter resort. The frozen lake famously hosted events during the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympics, and every year unique sports like horse racing and polo are held right on the ice.

Lake St. Moritz is absolutely stunning! Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and elegant hotels, it feels like a postcard come to life. The water changes color with the light, deep blue in the sun and crystal clear up close. Whether you walk around it, relax by the shore, or visit in winter when it freezes and hosts events, it’s pure Swiss beauty and elegance in one place.

A breathtaking place to see nature in its glory 😍 We took the walking trail to the heart of the valley. A semi-challanging climb, partly rock, alongside a nice stream that leads to the valley.

Simply beautiful. The water is very very cold, but the dogs loved it. You should definitely go with yours if you have one.

A really beautiful area to hike, a must for people who enjoy the outdoors if you're visiting the area. The scenery is really beautiful and there are two routes, one easier and more gentle that can be done quite quickly and a slightly harder route not too far away. We saw some people advising that it was suitable for buggies, but I would not agree. But is great for young children. Plenty of parking in San Martino and some parking spots on the easier hiking route too. Highly recommend.

Acquafraggia Waterfalls, located in Valchiavenna, Italy, are a sight to behold. The trail leading to the falls offers a scenic journey through an enchanting forest and leads to the most beautiful viewpoint of the waterfalls. The path then continues over the hill to Rifugio Savogno (925m), where visitors can take a break and enjoy refreshments.
Beautiful place with a stunning waterfall! The view of the waterfall from a distance is special, and it becomes even more breathtaking as you get closer. It’s a tall waterfall, and when you approach it, you can feel the refreshing mist from the falling water. There is parking available very close to the waterfall, which makes access easy and convenient. Overall, a truly beautiful spot worth visiting.

Did this hike with my friends and although I did find it challenging at points with regular breaks it’s not only very doable but simply beautiful (keep in mind I hadn’t hiked in years at that point). Lovely views and even a spot for a swim right at the top for those who are brave enough to face the chilly waters!

Magnificent high waterfall. You can walk directly up to the waterfall but before you should take off your clothes unless you are completely wet. It's possible to swim in the river. There is a huge paid parking nearby.

every time I visit chiavenna I always pass by the cascate. they’re so beautiful in winter or summer. recently I’ve been doing some of the hikes that you can find behind the waterfall which continue up alongside it and let me say it’s definitely worth it. you can find many pools near the summit for a quick dip in summer and in winter the serenity is amazing and the running water is a great soundtrack to accompany your hike. recommended 10/10 experience. brought my friends from australia with me the most recent time I did the hike and they also loved it. we swam in the spot in the second photo but beware even in peak summer the water is freezing (worth it though)

Forte Montecchio Nord is a well-preserved military stronghold dating back to 1914, offering guided tours and stunning views of Lake Como from its gun platform. The fortress is part of the historic Alto Lario fortification line and was built to protect Italy's passageways from Switzerland and Austria-Hungary during World War I. It stands as Europe's best-preserved First World War fortress, showcasing its powerful structure.
Stunning views, tremendous experience. I would highly recommend Edit: After reading some of the negative reviews, I feel compelled to add a few clarifications. The tour guide was attentive and spoke perfect English. Our group consisted of two English speakers and two Italians, and the guide ensured everyone understood the information, answering questions and providing clarifications. Those suggesting lowering the price for a solid hour of a personal tour, priced at 8 EUR per person, are simply missing the value of a remarkably well-maintained and significant moment. It’s a reminder that some people will find reasons to complain about anything. While I wish I could respond directly to the comments, I see that the owner is doing an excellent job addressing them. The pictures are great, but to truly appreciate the tour, you need to hear the guide and experience it in person. Asking your own questions enhances the experience. Thank you for a fantastic and detailed tour. It wouldn't have been the same without the guide; signage alone wouldn't suffice.

Never miss out going here once you plan to visit Lake Cumo. They have only guided tours and it's totally worth it.A brief about the ammunition storage and the thought process which went into building such a fort during a crisis. What a wonderful find in Colico! We didn't really know about this fort until we got to Colico, but I'm so glad we decided to visit it. Our guide Luke was wonderful, truly enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and very friendly and charming. Apparently we were the only ones visiting the fort that day, so full marks to him for doing such a brilliant job of the tour when we were the last and only tour of the day. I know this is highly rated here, but I still think it's not very well known and it should be! The working canon is amazing, the entire site is very well maintained, and the signs are in Italian, English and German. Luke spoke fluent English and made the whole experience very interesting. Highly recommended!
Anu N — Google review
The guided tour is very interesting! The guide was very knowledgeable, and told us a lot of interesting facts about the fort. The cannons are well-preserved and still move, which was very cool to see. I learned a lot of war-history that I did not know yet, and the tour made it really come alive. The views are also great from the roof of the fortress, definitively worth a visit! Again thank you!

This was the most incredible fresh water ravines I've ever been to. So much so, it was the highlight of my month travelling Europe. As always the Swiss morals of cleanliness and respect were upheld and there was no litter or trash ruining the views. The water was mesmerising, the weather intoxicating and the general surroundings simply incredible. The bus journey up the mountain was cheap and easily accessible, leaving you with various options of drop off. I chose to get of slightly early, to enjoy a hike to the water. Prior warning, despite the summer sun, the water is very cold. In various places there were signs that warned of currents / dangers and even lifeguards present. These areas however, were very sparse and you should make sure the area is safe before you swim. Beautiful views attract admirers, so you can understand why there are usually a lot of people - you might want to get there earlier to get a nice spot. Finally, I saw a snake drop onto a guy sleeping under a rock ledge and while I've never laughed so much in my life... be careful.

The garden features picturesque trails, statues, pavilions, and breathtaking views of Lake Como. While the villa itself is not open to the public, visitors can explore the serene botanical gardens and capture its beauty through leisurely strolls or specialized tours.
This place is mesmerizing. Happy by just walking around the garden and taking few pictures. There are two exits. You can go out and return by asking the staff to stamp on your wrist. There’s entrance near the port, very easy to walk to this place. We did not buy the ticket in advance since we saw the notice in the booking website that we need to be in line to get ticket anyway. Luckily, there was no queue, I believe because we visited during weekday in the afternoon (Oct 6). Not too many people there. Recommend!

It’s a very beautiful garden right on the lake. I don’t mind paying 10€ just to walk through the park because it does take some work to maintain the garden. It’s a nice place, there’s a museum too. However you cannot enter the main villa and it’s just not that amazing overall. It’s still a great place to be away from the touristy centro of Bellagio

Villa Carlotta is a stunning 17th-century villa located on the shores of Lake Como, near the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The villa boasts beautiful gardens and a remarkable botanical park with an impressive variety of rhododendrons and azaleas. Commissioned by Marquis Giorgio II Clerici, it features a neoclassical style with works by renowned artists such as Canova, Tiepolo, and Hayez.
Took the train to Varenna, then the boat and got off at Lenno. From Lenno we hiked to the villa following the lake shore (approx 4 km) This is a great hike, easy to make and not exhaustive. The only caveat is that there is a section of the hike that follows the road. Visited on Monday. Started with the gardens as there was a storm cloud on the lake and wanted to cover the gardens and move inside if the rain moved onto the place. The gardens are extensive and beautiful. The rhododendrons were in peak bloom (mid May). The Villa itself is also impressive, well curated and maintained. Overall a great small museum as a time capsule ot a different era. The cafeteria has gelato, panini and excellent beer. What else do you need beyond that. We entered the museum at 3:00 pm and left just after 6:pm. The combined ticket for the gardens and the villa is €15/p. Good value.

An absolute architectural, botanical and historical marvel of the last 500 years. The grounds of the villa are absolutely gorgeous - fountains sculptures, and perfectly manicured floral heaven. Leolandia is a fantastic amusement park that offers a wide range of attractions for both kids and adults. Visitors can enjoy thrilling roller coasters, water rides, and miniature models of famous Italian landmarks. The park is well-maintained with plenty of dining options and restroom facilities. It's recommended to arrive early to avoid crowds, as the waiting times for rides are generally short.
This amusement park is ideal for younger children, offering plenty of gentle, less-scary rides. While the attractions aren’t as elaborate or themed as those at Gardaland or Movieland, they deliver classic amusement-park fun in a well-designed, well-maintained setting. Beyond the rides, the park includes a small farm, a reptile house and aquarium, “Mini-Italy,” and several cheerful playgrounds scattered around the grounds. Buying tickets online in advance will save you money.

Great place for younger children, height limits on some rides (105cm & 120cm) so worth keeping this in mind before you visit. Was a hot June day, plenty of wet areas to cool down but they are a bit manic so need to supervise young ones Bought our tickets in advance, and walked right in Food was responsibly priced, and the pizza I had was really good!

Nice place for younger children that want to experience rides. However, we were bit disappointed about Thomas the train been on service on that day so we couldn't experience it. We were waiting for it and after asking to one of the staff members we discovered that wasn't operating. Was a quite day so we didn't experience any queue. I don' t think is worth waiting 45min or more for a ride on peak season. Overall was a nice experience, my son had so much fun and had the possibility to experience different rides that he never tried before

Definitely interesting if you have kids and a spare day near Milan, though underwhelming if you’ve been to other parcs in Europe/US. It’s really geared to young kids, teenagers and up would quickly get bored. The parc itself is small but spacious, and clean. The only downside is the access roads; whover design the last couple of kms of entrance to the olace must have truly hated the parc (or people in general). Expect to waste about 30’ sitting in the car from the moment you see the entrance sign at a distance till you actually cross it

The Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, also known as the Duomo di Como, is a grand cathedral that took over three centuries to build. Its palatial interior features an array of tapestries, art, and frescoes. The cathedral's construction began in 1396 and was completed in 1740.
Como Cathedral, a stunning architectural landmark near the lakeshore, commands the city’s historic center and offers a dramatic view to approaching travelers. Built between 1396 and 1744, its construction spanned centuries, blending Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles into a harmonious whole. Its proximity to the ancient Bishop’s Palace reflects Como’s historical role as a cultural and trade link between Central Europe and Italy. The Cathedral’s sculptures and paintings showcase the fusion of transalpine and Italian artistic traditions. Despite evolving styles, each phase of construction respected earlier proportions, creating a unified and timeless structure that embodies centuries of artistic expression.

Visiting the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta in Como was an unforgettable experience. The architecture is breathtaking — a perfect blend of Gothic strength and Renaissance grace. Every detail, from the grand façade to the colorful stained glass, tells a story of faith, art, and history. Inside, the peaceful atmosphere and the play of light through the windows create a sense of timeless beauty. Absolutely worth visiting — a masterpiece that captures the soul of Italy.

Very interesting. But what I would like is a MAP of the figures on the OUTSIDE of this structure. Clearly there are some very unique figures (not usually seen on churches), like Pliny the Younger. I would like to know more about the why each of these figures/animals were chosen and why they were placed in their current location. The construction of this Cathedral was begun in 1396 and over 300 years combined Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. What is interesting is that the cathedral in Milan was just begun 10 years before. There is a timeline of events related to the Cathedral di Sant Maria Assunta, is located inside, which is informative.

I was surprised by this duomo. It is very well preserved and has an interesting way of keeping the parishioners and tourists separated while not strongly impacting either. This is the only catholic church I have been in that has the old style offering candles. Finally, make sure to take in the ceiling. The use of blue is rare.

This cathedral is one of the most beautiful for sure I have ever seen. You can enter inside for free and also you can admire its beauty from the cafe across it. Order an aperol and enjoy stunning view. Dolce far niente 🇮🇹

The cathedral is within walking distance from the train station. It is open to tourists for praying and picture taking M-S. You can get closer to the altar past the rope to pray only. Beautiful church!

Lovely Cathedral situated right in the middle of the shops and market . Free entry using a separate door than the staff and people who actually pray here . Well maintained .

The Duomo di Como is a beautiful cathedral with a mix of Gothic and Renaissance styles. The outside is impressive, and the square around it makes it even more special. Inside, the stained glass windows, frescoes, and intricate decorations are amazing – I could stay for hours just admiring every detail. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the art. Definitely a must-visit in Como!

The Tempio Civico della Beata Vergine Incoronata is a hidden gem located in the heart of Lodi. This magnificent church, dating back to the late 15th century, showcases stunning Lombard Renaissance and late Baroque architecture. A highlight of Lodi!
Betsy C — Google review
The Tempio Civico della Beata Vergine Incoronata, also known as the Sanctuary of the Incoronata, is a Catholic church in Lodi, Lombardy, Italy, and a masterpiece of Lombard Renaissance art. Origins: The temple was built starting in 1488, following reported miracles in 1487, when a fresco of the Virgin Mary on a brothel’s facade in Via Incoronata (formerly Contrada Lomellini) allegedly wept during a fight. This prompted the citizens of Lodi to construct a civic temple dedicated to the Crowned Virgin. Civic Significance: The term "Civico" (municipal) reflects its ownership by the Lodi commune, not the diocese, as it was funded and promoted by citizens and local authorities, symbolizing civic pride and devotion. Construction: Designed by Giovanni Battagio, a pupil of Bramante, construction began on May 29, 1488. Gian Giacomo Dolcebuono took over in 1489, completing the dome by 1491, and Lorenzo Maggi finished the bell tower in 1503. The facade was completed in 1879 by Alfonsino Truzzi.

(Translated by Google) The church, built between 1488 and 1494 based on a design by Giovanni Battaggio, is one of Lombardy's most astonishing Renaissance jewels. It is called a civic temple because it was commissioned and financed by the Lodi community, in recognition of the strong popular devotion to the miraculous image housed there. The octagonal plan, a symbol of perfection and rebirth, houses a fully decorated interior, a true Baroque-Renaissance treasure trove overflowing with paintings, sculptures, frescoes, and stuccoes created by the greatest Lombard artists of the 16th and 17th centuries. The works are truly numerous: rather than listing them, the motto here applies: "not to describe, but to contemplate."

Teatro alla Scala, also known as La Scala, is an opulent 18th-century theater renowned for its Italian opera and ballet performances. The theater features a museum showcasing its rich history through exhibitions of costumes, musical instruments, photographs, and set designs. Additionally, the Livia Simoni Library houses an extensive collection of 150,000 volumes of librettos, scores, and periodicals.
A must-visit when in Milan, but plan ahead. We went during the August shut-down, so there wasn’t much to see apart from the tour. Still, the tour was interesting and included a visit to the theatre boxes, plus entry to the attached museum. Definitely book tours in advance, and if you can, time your visit outside of August so you get the full experience of seeing an opera.

What an exceptional experience. Once in a life time for me! as an Asian person, it was great to attend opera. Reminder to be aware of dress code as Italian dress really proper for opera!!! Good thing is there’s subtitle in English for the opera . Staff is helpful. Nice bar during the break too, good champagne.

A beautiful place, full of charm and history. The architecture, colors, and overall atmosphere are stunning, it truly feels like a grand theatre. The stage is massive, and the chandelier is absolutely gorgeous. The foyer is spacious and elegant, with mirrors that add to its classic feel. The museum is also worth exploring, filled with fascinating objects and paintings. Definitely a must-visit in Milan.

Went to see the ballet productions Études, Petite Mort, Boléro with the Ballet Company of the Teatro alla Scala and the Orchestra of the Academy of La Scala Theatre and it was epic. The orchestra and conductors were brilliant but the dancers were the stars especially the Boléro, she was amazing and the piece was spectacular. No idea how she spend 20+ mins like that but I'd watch it again any day. Only problem is for a 6 foot plus person the seats in the balcony are real tight, almost makes Ryan Air look a little comfy. Was fanatic to see so many kids at the ballet, smiling, laughing and enjoying it. We need more of this in Ireland

The museum is very interesting. The building is beautiful and there is a lot to see. It is really nice that you have the chance to look into the stage and watch a current rehearsal. The ticket is 12 euro and the visit is totally worth it. We visited on a Tuesday morning and there were very few visitors so it was quite.

Remember to book in good time in advance as the tickets sell out fast! This legend is one of the top opera houses in the world. The foyer space is quite small compared to the big number of seats and it gets really crowded in the intermission. The bar is cramped so go to line first for a separate ticket to get the drinks, only then to the service area so you get your purchase. We saw Verdi’s Rigoletto. The expectations were very high so we were a bit disappointed. The tenor had gotten sick and the replacing singer was not at the same level with other soloists that were stunning. We found the regie, set and clothing a bit outdated, even if the turning set worked well. The lighting was off and I guess with better lighting design the opera would have looked much better. Overall we were pleased with the evening.

The gallery is a major attraction for tourists due to its proximity to significant landmarks like the Cathedral (Duomo) and the opera theatre.
Stepping in from Piazza del Duomo, the first thing that hit me was the light — filtered through the tall glass-and-iron roof so it cascades down onto the marble mosaics, giving everything a kind of golden glow. A stunning masterpiece of Italian architecture and style. The soaring glass dome, marble floors, and ornate ironwork make the Galleria one of the most elegant spaces in Europe. Standing at the center, beneath the famous mosaic of the bull, is a little ritual — spin your heel for good luck — and it’s fun to watch visitors from all over the world take part. Even if you’re not shopping, the beauty of the place makes it worth visiting. The light through the dome, the hum of conversation from the cafés, and the view toward the Duomo capture everything you imagine Milan to be — sophisticated, timeless, and full of life.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is one of those places that makes you stop and stare even if you were just walking by. The second you step inside, you feel like you have entered a different world. The glass roof, the iron structure, and the floor covered with mosaics all hit you at once. It is elegant without trying too hard, classic but still alive. Every angle looks like it was made to be photographed, and somehow it never feels fake or staged. You can hear the sound of footsteps echoing through the hall, mixed with the low buzz of people talking, laughing, and shopping. Luxury stores line both sides, but even if you are not there to spend money, just walking through is worth it. The smell of coffee from the cafes mixes with the city air, and for a moment everything feels balanced between chaos and calm. If you look up, the glass dome above makes the light fall in a way that changes through the day, from soft in the morning to golden near sunset. It gives the whole place a quiet glow. You start to realize it is not just a shopping gallery, it is a piece of Milan’s identity. Old, proud, stylish, and built to last. It is one of those spots that remind you why Milan feels different from every other city.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is not just a shopping mall it’s truly a masterpiece of architecture and Italian elegance. Located right next to the famous Duomo, this historic gallery feels like stepping back in time to the golden age of Milan. The stunning glass dome, the detailed mosaic floors, and the grand arches make it one of the most beautiful and photogenic places I’ve ever visited. The moment you walk in, you can feel the luxury and history surrounding you. Every corner is picture-perfect, and even if you’re not into shopping, it’s still worth visiting just to admire the design and atmosphere. The galleries are lined with high-end fashion brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci a paradise for luxury shoppers. Even the window displays are pieces of art. We also stopped for a coffee at one of the cafes inside, and it was a lovely experience sitting under the glass roof watching people pass by. Prices are a bit high (as expected in such a prestigious location), but the experience is totally worth it. You can also find restaurants offering delicious Italian cuisine perfect for a relaxing lunch after exploring the Duomo area. One tip: visit early morning or late evening to avoid the big crowds and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the gallery. At night, when the lights glow softly through the glass ceiling, it feels truly magical. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a must-see in Milan a symbol of Italian craftsmanship, style, and timeless beauty.

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan is a stunning 19th-century shopping arcade, named after Italy’s first king and designed by Giuseppe Mengoni. Opened in 1877, it’s Italy’s oldest active mall and a masterpiece of iron-and-glass architecture. The architecture here is IMPRESSIVE! While it looks like a regular shopping street, it's nowhere near that. It's a reminder of how majestic Italy and their history is. Take a look above you, and you see a dome. Take a look below you and you see Mosaic tiles. Each corner, each crevice, each tile perfectly placed. As you walk around, you will see the HEAVY hitters in luxury stores. LV, Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Versace, and many more. Even if you don't shop, it's still impressive to walk around and take in the beauty.

Beautiful place and free to explore. Walk through. I think you need a ticket for different parts and if you want a guided tour. I explored on my own which was completely fine for me. There are lots of maps and historic plaques in both Italian and English, which were both informative and interesting to digest. Good place to visit!

Admission is free, and you can walk around the grounds to enjoy the beautiful landscape and gardens. There are clean washrooms and even a few food trucks inside the premises where you can grab a drink or snacks. Nestled within the historic Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Leonardo's Last Supper Museum showcases one of the most iconic masterpieces of the Renaissance. This stunning mural, created by Leonardo da Vinci in the late 15th century, adorns what was once a dining hall and continues to captivate visitors with its intricate details and profound storytelling. To experience this artistic marvel, it's essential to plan ahead as reservations are required and should ideally be made three months in advance.
The mural is heavily degraded but is still worth a visit if you have the time while in Milan. You must buy tickets on-line ahead and they sell out fast. Each group of about 25 people is let into the room for 15 minutes. It is a large room (former dining hall) so it doesn't feel crowded. You need to check-in at the ticket office. They will give you a listening device so you can hear your guide. You'll meet your guide at the entrance. You'll need to go through security scanner with a metal detector and your group will re-gather in a waiting hall. There are plaques about the building and mural. Once inside you'll be able to walk around while the guide tells you about the mural, it's history, and preservation. After you leave the guide you'll enter a garden where the guide tells you more about the building and history of the area. In the garden are additional displays about the history.

Seeing The Last Supper at the Monastery of Santa Maria delle Grazie was truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment for me. No photo or book could ever prepare you for the feeling of standing in front of Leonardo’s masterpiece. The atmosphere is quiet and almost sacred—you can sense the history in the room. I felt completely in awe, almost like time had stopped, just taking in the details and the emotion on each Apostles faces. It was absolutely worth the wait and all the planning. If you’re dreaming of seeing it, please do yourself a favor and book well in advance—tickets sell out quickly and you can’t just walk in on the day. This experience is something I’ll carry with me forever.

Eduardo R — Google review
Visiting the Last Supper Museum in Milan requires significant advance planning, as there are no ticket sales on site. All tickets must be purchased online, and securing them is widely regarded as one of the most challenging museum bookings in Europe. Tickets are released only four times per year. For instance, tickets for the period from 1 November through 31 January become available on 30 September of that year. In addition, the museum releases a very small number of supplementary tickets every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (Milan time) for dates within the following couple of weeks. As a result, obtaining tickets often requires planning months in advance and checking the booking system diligently each Wednesday. It is, without exaggeration, a rather daunting and time-consuming process. Fortunately, we managed to secure a morning time slot during the week we were visiting Milan. Visitors must arrive at the gate 15 minutes before the scheduled entry time. The visit itself is strictly timed: you are allowed only 15 minutes inside the refectory to view Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. While brief, the controlled environment helps preserve the fragile mural and ensures a quiet, intimate viewing experience. Despite the effort required to obtain tickets, the experience is unequivocally worth it. The painting is breathtaking; even after centuries of deterioration, restoration, and careful preservation, the mastery of Leonardo’s technique remains evident. The composition, the expressions, and the sheer presence of the work are awe inspiring and offer a profound connection to one of the greatest masterpieces in art history. A visit to the Last Supper is unquestionably worth the logistical challenge. It stands as one of Milan’s most extraordinary cultural treasures.

📍 Leonardo’s Last Supper Museum (Cenacolo Vinciano) – Milan, Italy 🇮🇹 Home to one of the most famous artworks in the world 🎨—Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. The painting is housed in the refectory of Santa Maria delle Grazie ⛪ and seeing it in person is breathtaking. Entry is strictly timed ⏰, with only small groups allowed inside for about 15 minutes, which helps preserve the fresco. Tickets 🎟️ must be booked well in advance as they sell out quickly. A once-in-a-lifetime experience and an absolute must when visiting Milan. 🙌

15 minutes with one of the top 5 most famous works of art in the world. How do the tour guides maintain their pleasant demeanor when a recently minted Dan Brown-expert asks about the female to Jesus right?!
Joe B — Google review
Must do with a guide. You only get 15 minutes to see the painting so the information from the guide really helps in bringing the story alive. Our guide Silvia Zucco was excellent - knowledgeable, patient and a wonderful storyteller.
Somaya K — Google review
Take the guided tour. Our guide was very nice, told in detail about the history of the painting, the characters and also took us to the church. You need to explore the interior yourself ( which is the best part)! They have preserved the place very nicely.

Park
Parco Castello is a picturesque park located between Milan and Varese, offering a serene escape into nature within the city. The sizable park features a small lake, shaded areas, walking tracks, and a skate ramp for outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy the scenic surroundings while observing various wildlife such as turtles basking in the sun, ducks swimming in the pond, and squirrels roaming around.
Very beautiful park with alot of squirrels and ducks
Ahmed H — Google review
I visited this park on April 2024 and I have mixed feelings about it. Despite the surrounding nature and animal species living here are remarkable (there are squirrels, ducks, etc) the maintenance could be definitely improved. There were many benches and fences totally degraded and toilets and hygienic services extremely soiled. It is a shame have a gem like this not well managed as it could be a natural paradise on which relaxing, play with dogs and walking with your family!

What a beautiful park and location for everybody to enjoy. The pond and all the variety of birds were amazing, and it was such a peaceful, calming environment we loved it

Visit this place for the first time with my husband. It's really beautiful park. Heard from my husband when he was a kid they can swim in the lake, but now you can't as the water getting murky. But it's still beautiful park. Love the turtle bathing in the sun :)

Nice park. There was Squirrel, turle and goose, It's also sometimes crowded. The park is green and good for your lungs.

Nice Park lots of animals, ducks, sea turtles, and squirrels. Lots of green and picnic places.

The park is lovely on a good Spring day. Good for a walk or a picnic or a visit to the duck pond. Unfortunately there are limited facilities such as a children playground. There's a place to skate and a skateboard pipe. There's a small bar for refreshments.

The Borgo Medievale di Bobbio is an incredibly beautiful and well-regarded historical landmark. Despite previous claims labeling it as the dirtiest village in Romagna, these allegations were proven false upon closer inspection. The village boasts clear and pristine water that flows from its bare rocks, adding to its charm. Walking through the Borgo Medievale di Bobbio evokes a sense of awe and appreciation for its rich history.

(Translated by Google) In the picturesque Trebbia Valley, the medieval village of Bobbio is certainly one of the most famous attractions, having been awarded the TCI Orange Flag and named "Borgo dei Borghi" (Borghi of the Villages) in 2019 in a well-known television contest. That said, the goodwill of its administrators in the care and maintenance of its architectural heritage, its cleanliness, and the excellent range of tourist services are also impressive: paid and free parking, shops, restaurants, and hospitality. Worth visiting are the Gobbo (or Devil's) Bridge, the Cathedral and its charming square, the Museum of the Abbey of San Colombano and the church of the same name, and, if you have time, the Castle, the Mazzolini Collection, and the churches (San Lorenzo, Madonna dell'Aiuto). A truly wonderful discovery in a country like ours, which always offers, often on its doorstep, wonderful glimpses of Italy's past.

The 18th-century Citadel of Alessandria, which boasts a multi-point star shape, has parklike grounds that visitors can explore. Its remarkable history is set to be revived thanks to the outstanding efforts of people in Alessandria and the EU. The fortress protected the city and its strategic location makes it an ideal place to discuss the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho.
An incredible history that will be restored to life again thanks to incredible people in Alessandria and the EU ! I went early and was alone -It was fantastic as is the city it protected.

Great place to go around, but closed during the week. The place is rid with mosquitos though...
Athenaeum — Google review
It's a UNESCO site, unique as it's the only one in the world that is complete as a citadel built in the Late 1700 s and built for an army of 70-100 thousand soldiers. The area has been invaded so many times over history, the buildings are so intact and well constructed the scale is mesmerising, when you're there you can only imagine how once it was so busy with thousands of young soldiers through time occupying that space and training . All that is left is the silence and the sound of the birds . It's free to view and at the weekend you can view the museum with the uniforms .
Amanda E — Google review
The building itself is impressive and has a lot of potential. But the site is not developed and in quite a sad state. It's OK for a quick walk through but I would not go out of the way to explore it.

Nice thing to see. Very impressive structure. But as it in many cases it looks more spectacular from Google Maps than in teal life. It feels abit abandoned .. not well kept.

Such a shame that this site has been left to ruin. We walked around the main square as that was as much as you had access to. Main entrance was closed so wasn't able to go inside.

Located in the picturesque Gavi hills, Designer Outlet Serravalle is a sprawling shopping center designed to resemble an Italian village. It offers a delightful shopping experience with tree-lined streets and fountains, along with great deals on designer brands. The outlet features over 230 stores showcasing international and Italian designer labels, including renowned names like Casadei, Iceberg, and MMissoni. Serravalle Designer Outlet, Italy A shopper’s paradise with real discounts and Italian charm! 🇮🇹🛍️ Serravalle Designer Outlet offers a wide range of luxury and premium brands with great deals all year round — from Prada and Gucci to Nike and Armani. Prices are truly discounted, and the atmosphere feels like a beautiful Italian village. ✨ The area is clean, open-air, and very pleasant to walk around. Plenty of cafés, restaurants, and parking spaces are available. ☕🍝 💡 Tip: Go early in the morning or on weekdays to avoid crowds. Bring comfy shoes — it’s large, and you’ll want to explore every corner!

Serravalle Designer Outlet is a popular shopping destination located in Serravalle Scrivia, Italy. First time visited this outlet. It was great shopping experience here. To get here, I took the bus from Largo Cairoli Castello, which takes approximately 1.5 hours with cost 24 euro for roundtrip. It features a wide range of luxury and designer brands, offering discounted prices on high-quality products such as clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. The outlet mall provides a pleasant shopping experience, with modern facilities and a variety of dining options. It's an ideal place for shoppers looking for premium brands at affordable prices. Open daily , from monday to sunday 10 am to 8 pm.
Radja S — Google review
A true melting pot of brands, ranging from luxury labels like Prada, Gucci, and Armani to more accessible names like Nike, Levi’s, and Lindt. If you're looking for a specific item at a reduced price, this is definitely the place to check out. Even without a shopping goal, it's easy to stroll around, enjoy the pedestrian streets, shaded corners, and the pseudo-village atmosphere. Parking is free and convenient, which makes the experience even smoother. Sure, the setting feels a bit artificial, but for a day of shopping or casual wandering, it does the trick.
Big D — Google review
If you’re imagining rows of glamorous boutiques and hidden designer treasures, think again. Serravalle is what happens when someone takes the word *“outlet”* too literally — it’s been drained of stock, charm, and reason to exist. Most stores look like the aftermath of a clearance sale nobody wanted. Celine’s men’s section had maybe twenty sad pieces clinging to hangers for dear life. Dolce & Gabbana? Just the bargain-bin D&G line pretending to be designer. Truly inspiring. And let’s talk about the “discounts.” They’re so tiny you’ll need a microscope to find them. Moncler’s “outlet prices” could double as comedy — same old coats, barely cheaper, just worse lighting. Add in an hour-long drive from Milan, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for regret. Serravalle isn’t a shopping destination — it’s a **masterclass in marketing disappointment**. Unless your idea of fun is overpaying for leftovers while surrounded by tour buses, do yourself a favor: **stay in Milan and shop like a sane person.**

Serravalle Designer Outlet is a fantastic shopping destination – spacious, clean, and very well-organized. It’s easy to get around, accessible, and offers a fun atmosphere for a full day out. The variety of shops is impressive (almost overwhelming – one day isn’t enough to see everything!). There are plenty of options for food and coffee, plus free Wi-Fi which makes the experience even more convenient. Overall, a great place to shop, relax, and enjoy.
Amale H — Google review
There were discounts in every store. You can easily find sizes. It takes a whole day to visit all the stores. Visit the shopping center on weekdays because there are very few people.
Feljona D — Google review
We stopped to do some shopping here on the last day before returning to our country. The place is quite spacious, the parking is hard to find, but many famous brands aren’t available here.
Montakarn K — Google review
We had 6 hours here due to the bus we booked from Milan, we saw a corner of this place, absolutely huge! Got very good discounts and there was enough stock.
