This is an amazing refurnished monastery. It is beautifully cool inside. I rode to it on my bike from Collobrières - a lovely ride of around an hour and a half (less if you're fitter than me!). The return journey downhill was lovely.

Amazing, how in former times, people would build such a massive construction so far from anything else, they were really searching silence and seclusion. Equally amazing, how after a long time of neglect and decline, another generation resurrected the monastery from ruins and once again filled it with life. Worldly as well as spiritual. Take your time when you visit, this is not a place to rush through.

Awesome place to visit. The road is narrow but in a good condition and paved to the top. I recommend traveling to Croix d‘Anselme and then to the Monastery. Otherwise, the navigation may try to take the D214 for the majority of the journey to the top but that road is not fully paved on one section. The D14 to Croix d‘Anselme and the D214 to the top is better.

The beach is beautiful, however we found human excrements in the water for the second year in a row. We’ve noticed the park workers and they said is probably due to the boats in the bay close to the beach. This is unacceptable considering that beach people have park regulations to respect and each car pays for the entrance.

Parking is €12 per day, but the beach gets overcrowded and even finding a spot is uncertain. Long lines at the entrance and people packed too close together make it less enjoyable. Only recommend outside peak season.

Visited peak Season in August. As others say, wasn’t even anywhere to put a towel down. Water was murky, kept getting whiffs of rotten eggs. As much as the fine sand was nice, it gets stuck to everything, still finding it days later. Car was covered inside from it. Avoid.

At just 20 mins drive from Bormes-les-Mimosas, la plage de l’Estagnol is a quaint little sand beach, with clear and wonderful warm waters, beautiful views and settings in a well preserved Mediterranean bay. It has a nearby parking that costs 11 € where you can park your car under beautiful pine trees. There are two restaurants offering a good choice of refreshments and foods. Highly recommended for families with kids. Make sure to get there early as it gets busy very quickly.

Very nice park. They have an incredible amount of species of birds, many who are on the endangered list. They also have monkeys, lemurs, meerkats, donkeys, etc. I highly recommend going in the afternoon in order to watch feeding time for some of the animals while at the same time hearing information on them followed by a question and answer session. This is really neat for kids of all ages especially because they can feed the donkeys at this time. The gardens are lovely with many different types of species from all over the world. Allow for at least 1 hour 30 minutes to maybe 2 hours in order to see everything. There are also picnic tables so you can bring your lunch and enjoy the nice surroundings. It's 11€ for a ticket to enter the park. I can't say that is expensive because, after all, they have to take care of the animals. Wonderful place for all ages.

I visited this place with my friends and my sister a while back. The first impressions of the ‘tropical garden’ was rather positive until we saw the animals. The pathways were dirty and covered in dead leaves and chains. As of the animals, they are depressed and were not happy locked up in these repulsive cages. Lovely place, if you’re looking for a sportive outing in this area, Aoubré is worth your visit. We literally just came back from Aoubre and before I hop in the shower (and you'll definitely need one after this visit) I am taking care of my more urgent need, to write a 5-star review. This place is absolutely amazing and worth every penny. In fact, if the price was double, it would still be worth the money. If you are spending your vacation anywhere within a 1 hour drive from Aoubre, you should not miss the opportunity to visit. Two thumbs up with both arms stretched up.

While the paths are generally manageable, you’ll want someone with you to help lift the buggy at certain points – that was the case from what I observed during my visit. Near the entrance, there are plenty of food trailers offering a range of options including wraps, soft drinks, ice cream, and even a pizza trailer – great for grabbing a bite after your walk. There is parking available close to the site, but do note that it is paid parking. All in all, Cascade de Sillans makes for a lovely outing that combines natural beauty, accessibility, and a few tasty treats – just be sure to plan ahead and arrive early for the best experience.

A pretty waterfall. If you want to hike/get closer to the water you can start from Parking du Village. However from this side there isn’t a good full view of the waterfall. When we went (on a Tuesday in August) it was really busy and kind of loud. Parking is expensive.

Absolutely stunning . We were a little bit misled because we thought we could swim around the area but it turns out that if you want to swim in that beautiful water it’s actually about 20 or 30 minutes away. However, there is parking and it’s not that expensive at all I think it was about €3 for the few hours we stayed and they have a toilet that everyone can use and lots of vendors who serve things like hotdogs and pizza slices. If you’re travelling from abroad, be sure to try and use Google lens for your translating needs as not much is in English. Beautiful hidden waterfall, simple trail to follow took about 10-15 minutes to walk to. Viewing platform was quiet, visited on a weekday in the evening.

This is a beautiful waterfall. But we went there thinking we could picnic at the waterfall. Due to the fire risk park rangers made us move on and the very small platform for viewing it was crowded no rest area or chair. Still well worth visiting however we found a really nice picnic ground back near the bridge that you cross before you park.

Tough ride to get there and in the zoonot really enjoyable ride if you have small kids that require a buggy. It's very steep and lots of holes in the ways. It was very nice. There is a lot of information. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I used the audio phones which was nice but the verbiage is repetitive and numbers don't match all the displays. Headsets would be better than holding a phone up to your ear. It was vey warm in the museum.

Very small but cosy marine museum that attracts with an art of the ships modeling, deep history and a modern warfare. The mystery of the wooden ships development ends up with a high-end nuclear technology, the outcome of the ships evolution can be spotted behind the window in the military port. There are no interactive exhibits that could attract kids before the certain age. After visiting a museum, tickets can be used to get a discount to have a boat trip around the warship facilities and see the history with own eyes.

We enjoyed it very much. The first part is uphill and takes little effort, then you go to the tunnel, and after that it is downhill. There is no need to peddle. The western theming is excellent and the park is clean! The rides are quite close together so no unnecessary walking needed. Free and spacious parking available. Bags are checked before entry. Buying tickets was fast. We enjoyed our day and our 4yr old son managed to ride majority of rides alone or accompanied. There are a lot of new/unusual rides we've not seen before. I took one star off however due to ride times as there is only one ride operator per ride and this holds the queues up. Also, there is no shade/covers/canopies for most rides whilst queuing and it does get very hot. I would recommend the water sprays/mists around the park to take the edge off the humidity.

A very beautiful hike. We started from the dam and followed the blue route to the top. It was indicated this would take about two hours and this was a good estimate. At the top of the mountain you can find an old monastery that has been renovated. It was not open to visit when we were there (Friday 18th of September). Stunning walk with breathtaking views at the top. We followed the blue route up the hill from the dam and the red and white back down towards the dam. Challenging on the way down but very fun - about a 5 hour hike altogether.

There is a fantastic hike from the West side that goes all the way up to the cross statue. The views from there are spectacular.

Great place to come with kids, very beautiful and unique. The decorations and the activity are super fun.

At first we were disappointed that lots was closed due to the high risk of fires(which we totally understand of course) but the park is so big and we didn't miss anything. Kids had a blast. 10-15 yo. The big trees give lots of shade (+35°C) And all the water games made it amazing for many hours of play. The price is not much for a whole day of fun. Unfortunately lost a Orange Data card :(

A bit expensive for a family of four. They make you pay for a child starting at the age of 2 years old. There were lots of climbing activities for the kids but everything was really dusty and sandy. I made the mistake of wearing white shorts and they were completely covered in dirt. The internet was down when we arrived and we were not able to purchase tickets at the machine and had to walk over to the adjacent park to buy tickets.

Amazing hike with rewarding views. There’re many tracks to suit hikers with different fitness levels. You can get here by public transport or catch a ride share which will save you some time. It’s such a nice escape to get some sea breeze and fresh air.

My boyfriend and I did an incredible 17km hiking loop passing through Calanques d’en Vau starting from Cassis (picture attached of our route, listed as a trail running route found on Kamoot). Absolutely stunning hike which is WELL worth the effort! The natural park feels and is completely unspoilt due to no car access etc. A MUST if you are anywhere near this area :)

Nature here is amazing. I had some difficulties to find the right path, without google maps was impossible and not always very clear. However, if you like to walk and/or hike, this place is for you. Cristal water and small beaches, we went end july and not a lot of people. Of course you need to be lucky (like anywhere) that the few people you have are not loud. We took the tellow path. This one is not suitable for kids! But hey, it’s nature!:) A bit sad that in the sea you can se a lot of boats but then the park is closed to the public. Environmentally the impact of boats is way higher then just people walking. However, it was a great experience.

This is easily one of the coolest parks I've been to. It's absolutely beautiful with plenty of well-marked hiking trails. There's also plenty of climbing areas, some of which require far-from-obvious trails that require scrambling or rappelling at times. Rarely, you'll find chains at the extremely scrambly sections.
