Nice spot for his statue. His song is a real classic. I’ll never forget when I was just a kid watching one of my first horror movies (Vamp with our goddess Grace Jones) and they played Volare at the end credits. It was a nice relief after so much scarring scenes 🤣🤣🤣.

I visited this beach in winter I thought it would be a small, charming beach — but in person, it felt much deeper, quieter especially with hardly anyone around. The only sound was the gentle rhythm of waves. I stood there for a long while, just watching the sea spray hit the rocks, feeling completely at peace. Such a special place — simple, quiet, and utterly calming.

Stunning and super romantic little town. You can easily get off your mobile phone GPS/ Google maps and get lost in its cozy, tiny and utterly romantic streets!! And Christmas time is even more unique and beautiful!

Everything about Alberobello was wonderful! We were there in shoulder season (Mid-march), so the crowds were light and the trullis were so cool to see. The area is ticked away in a pretty average/bland looking part of town, bits worth the drive. We took a bus from Bari and did this and Matera on the same day. Definitely a highlight of our trip

This was one of the most amazing and funny experiences in my entire life! This place is absolutely amazing and it is a great place for kids! The amusement park after the safari is absolutely amazing! For the safari I can highly recommend you to buy carrots, apples and cabbage in advance so that you have for more animals to feed. It is super funny and awesome that you can pet the zebras, giraffes and camels.

La parte superiore del prospetto termina con un piccolo timpano triangolare decorato e con un orologio meccanico. I restanti prospetti sono identici a quello principale, ad eccezione del piccolo timpano triangolare. Sia all'esterno che all'interno sono inoltre presenti lapidi commemorative. Tra di esse, una menzione particolare va fatta per quella dedicata all'assassinio del Re Umberto I di Savoia, conservata al terzo piano. È stata per più di un secolo sede del Liceo Ginnasio "Archita", il più antico di Taranto, famoso per essere stata la scuola di personalità illustri, tra le quali lo statista Aldo Moro. Dal 2013 il Liceo è stato trasferito in altra sede per l'inizio dei lavori, conclusi nuovamente per infiltrazioni mafiosi all'interno della ditta appaltatrice.

If you’re looking for a super beautiful, peaceful beach experience, Torre Guaceto is an absolute gem. If you walk all the way to the end of the beach, you’ll find barely anyone there, so it’s perfect if you want some peace and privacy away from the crowds. Getting there is really easy thanks to the shuttle service from the parking area. It’s €8 per car per day, and that includes everyone inside the car plus parking, super convenient if you don’t want to stress about finding a spot. There’s a small spiaggia attrezzata with chairs and umbrellas if you prefer some comfort, but most of the beach is spiaggia libera, so you can pick your own spot and enjoy the natural setting. The area is also mostly disabled-friendly, so it’s accessible for everyone, which is a huge plus. Overall, Torre Guaceto is perfect for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing beach with beautiful scenery, easy access, and a touch of solitude if you explore a bit. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the region!

This church was built at the end of the 11th Century AC by a Norman King who was returning from a Crusade, as Brindisi's harbor was the main departure point to Middle East during the age of the Crusaders (1096-1291). The interior is designed in the shape of a "horse shoe" with eight columns in concentric circle, just like the Cathedral of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. According to nowadays standards the temple is not a tall building, so it's not visible from distance. Actually, all the buildings around are taller. Anyway it well worth visiting, especially for the marble lions supporting the entrance pillars, for the indoor wall paint, partially visible and for the green patio, where the visitors could admire some beautiful orange and lemon trees, as well as ancient tombstones, some of them dating back from Roman era. Visited the place in January and the citrus trees in the patio were full of ripe fruits.

Excellent wine tour at their winery in Cellino San Marco by Leo who took us around the winery explaining about the cooperative of 1000+ local farmers who make up the company. He explained the process of receiving the grapes from the farmers and how they are tested, graded and weighed before entering the process. You will see the areas where this happens and the tall metal tanks where the fermentation takes place before some of the best wine being passed to be barrelled in American oak and stored in a control temperature and humidity store deep underground to improve the taste etc which you experience. We then drove to see one of the vineyard fields with several varieties of wine was growing at the start of May. The tour finally ended at their show room where you get to taste some of the wines, with some food, on offer and the chance to buy from the large collection of wines all at reasonable prices. A must do if you are travelling to Puglia to see where our wines come from. Really enjoyed and a big thank you to Leo. Really recommend

Incredible place, a forest, breathtaking cliff views, incredible hiking trail, what more can anyone hope for, perfect place for viewing and strolling, or if you're adventurous you can get deep into the cliffs and hike along the water, really spectacular place. Visited in July of 2024. Absolutely stunning. I was mind blown by the beauty and the detail of the church, inside and out! The tickets aren’t that expensive. The interior is intricately decorated with paintings. Another church as beautiful as this one is rare to find.

I didn’t know what to expect from Museo Faggiano, but it turned out to be one of the most surprising and unique museum experiences I’ve had. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary building, but inside it reveals an incredible archaeological journey uncovered during a simple home renovation. Every room holds secrets from centuries past — from Roman cisterns to medieval escape routes. One of the family members was there to share the story, and his passion made the visit even more special. A true hidden gem in Lecce — totally worth your time, even if you're not usually into museums!

We were very satisfied with both the beach and the restaurant. There were three of us, and we paid €25, being offered a free spot, which was very pleasant. The young man managing the beach was very kind and polite. We also tried the restaurant—the dishes were excellent, and the staff were very friendly and smiling.
