The online reservation procedure for Gandharv Water Park lacks efficiency. It tends to get extremely crowded on weekends and public holidays, so it is advisable to visit on weekdays from Monday to Friday. Nonetheless, the water park offers an exceptional overall experience. The quality of food provided is commendable, and the water rides are well-maintained. It is crucial to ensure proper hygiene standards are maintained throughout the park. Children can have a delightful time as there are plenty of enjoyable attractions designed specifically for them.
My school trip visited hear. All the service is good. Food, breakfast, ice cream is of best quality. We all enjoyed it a lot.

Review of Gandarv Water Park, Kolhapur I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gandarv Water Park in Kolhapur on a bustling Saturday, and I must say, it was an experience worth every moment. The water park stands out as a top-notch destination for both thrill-seekers and those looking to relax and enjoy a day out with family or friends. #### Water Park Experience First and foremost, the water park itself is exceptional. The range of rides and attractions cater to all age groups, ensuring everyone has a delightful time. From exhilarating water slides that get your adrenaline pumping to more relaxed, lazy river rides, Gandarv Water Park has something for everyone. The cleanliness and maintenance of the park were also commendable, making it a safe and enjoyable environment. #### Dining Options The dining experience at Gandarv Water Park is another highlight. We opted for dinner during our visit, and it was undoubtedly the best part of our culinary journey there. The dinner spread was sumptuous, offering a variety of delicious dishes that satisfied our taste buds immensely. The flavors were rich, and the variety was impressive, making it a memorable dining experience. Breakfast, on the other hand, was average. While it provided a decent start to the day, there was room for improvement. The offerings included bhel, pav bhaji, dhapati, pulao, and noodles in the Chinese section. While these dishes were tasty, they lacked the wow factor that dinner had. Nevertheless, it was sufficient and satisfying for a morning meal. #### Complimentary Events One of the unique features of Gandarv Water Park is the complimentary events they offer. Out of six events, four are provided free of charge, adding extra value to your visit. These events range from entertaining performances to interactive activities that keep guests engaged and entertained throughout the day. This thoughtful inclusion enhances the overall experience and makes the visit more memorable. #### Weekend Visit Visiting on a weekend, especially a Saturday, added to the lively atmosphere of the park. While it was understandably crowded, the park's efficient management ensured that lines moved quickly and that the overall experience remained pleasant. The vibrant energy and the excitement of fellow visitors made the day even more enjoyable. #### Package Options Gandarv Water Park offers three distinct packages per day, catering to different time preferences: 1. **Morning Pack (10 AM to 3 PM)** 2. **Afternoon Pack (1 PM to 7 PM)** 3. **Evening Pack (3 PM to 10 PM)** Each of these packs provides excellent value for money. In addition to entry to the water park, guests receive one meal (lunch or dinner) and an ice cream. The inclusion of a free breakfast, featuring a selection of bhel, pav bhaji, dhapati, pulao, and noodles, adds a nice touch to the package, ensuring visitors are well-fed and ready to enjoy their day. #### Overall Impression In summary, Gandarv Water Park in Kolhapur is a fantastic destination for a day of fun, food, and relaxation. The water park itself is well-maintained and offers a great variety of attractions. Dinner is a standout experience, while breakfast, though average, is still enjoyable. The complimentary events and the well-structured packages add significant value to the visit. Whether you're looking for a thrilling adventure or a leisurely day out, Gandarv Water Park delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Kolhapur.

The water park provided a thrilling experience with a variety of slides and attractions. The cleanliness and maintenance were commendable, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. The staff was friendly and efficient, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere. However, crowded periods might impact the overall experience.

This place opens up at 10AM and closed at 10pm.You have three sessions to choose from 10 to 1,1 to 7 and 3 to 8. Morning session is cheaper. At first they offer you snacks or lunch, according to time you choose. Lunch is very ordinary and tasteless. Same is the snacks. I got cauliflower and masur daal sabji with puri. Everything was average quality for that costly entry ticket. The main attraction is pool. There are 3 pools. One is for children. All the pools are multiple slides. Water was not clean, filled with mosquito larvae. As I was there for weekend pools were over crowded, barely get space to swim. In the evening you can enjoy puppet show, magicians show and music show. All in all this Waterpark I don't find value for money.

Panhala Fort, a historical gem nestled in Maharashtra, is renowned for its rich heritage and stunning views. It’s said to be the place where the legendary Shivaji Maharaj spent significant time outside of his childhood home. While exploring this majestic fort, I indulged in some local cuisine from nearby stalls, particularly the Kolhapuri bhadang bhel.

This is the deity worshiped by not only Sanglikars, but also by devotees from all over Maharashtra. The temple that was built by Raje Patwardhan is based on "Panchayatan" system of deity placement. It's a place to find solace , calm , peace of mind and the God of wisdom, Ganpatibappa is also known as Wighnaharta, i.e., the one who destroys all your worries. Just go and find your solace.
Kaustubh K — Google review
Ganapati Temple is regarded as the most beautiful temple in south Maharashtra. It is situated on the banks of river Krishna at Sangli. Thorle (elder) Chintamanrao Patwardhan consecrated the idol in 1843. The temple has been artistically built with black stone brought from Jyotibha hills. There is a platform, a hall and a 'Nagarkhana' inside the vast two acres complex of the temple. The entrance door has been carved out of different coloured natural wood. The idol of the Lord Ganapati is made of copper. The idol has been kept in a way that it is visible from any part of Ganapati Peth. It looks so beautiful when the silvery rays of evening sun brighten the face of the Ganapati idol. Ganapati festival is celebrated with great religious fervour for five days from Bhadrapad Shuddha Chaturthi. Sangli is well connected by air, train and road. Dharamshalas and small budgeted hotels at Sangli are available for accommodation.

The entry fees is 20 rs per person. Closed on Monday. You cannot click a single photo. It takes 1 hour to see the museum. I have visited more than 20 museums all over India..so compare to my experience, they have limited but good articles

This used to be Raja's place but now there are many govt offices. Buildings are historical and still in use since 100 years.
Akshay H — Google review
Actually first of all it is not a fort at all. Fort is just a misnomer for this and that's why I gave only 4 star . Yeah, there is a museum which is really mesmerising and just for 10 rs , you can stay there as long as u want. Behind that museum there is Darbaar Hall, which is a temple and also a great symbol of beautiful architecture . I personally loved the museum. There is a government office behind. The museum opens after 10:30am and ya, dont touch anything in the museum and you are also not allowed to click the pictures inside the museum and darbaar hall too.
DEEP T — Google review
Presently there is no fort, only a huge boundary Wall, Inside the Fort there is An old Ganesh Mandir and a small museum, 99% of the Fort was occupied by private villas, apartments and few government offices.

Chandoli National Park

National park
Nature & Parks
Extensive park & wildlife sanctuary, home to endangered local species, 17th-c. forts & waterfalls.
Chandoli National Park is a tiger reserve forest with a very huge area covered ... almost Ratnagiri Kolhapur Sangli Satara all boundaries covered by this Park ... Famous udgir pathar, kandwan waterfall, Okkalu waterfall, chandoli Dam.... Visit in October to March
Mahananda C — Google review
I recently visited Chandoli National Park, starting my journey from Chiplun. I relied on Google Maps for navigation, but it turned out to be a challenging experience. The app directed us to a very dangerous route, which could have been extremely difficult to navigate without a 4x4 vehicle. For anyone planning a trip, I strongly recommend reconfirming the route with locals and considering using "Chandoli Dam" as the destination on Google Maps for better navigation. After reaching the park entrance, we paid for the guide, car, and entry fees, and then drove through the national park on our own. While we weren’t lucky enough to spot much wildlife, the drive through the forest and the short trek to the hidehouse offered a unique and refreshing experience. Our guide, Mr. Appa Kamble, was knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely caring. When we shared our navigation struggles with him, he provided a detailed route for our return journey, even writing it down for us. He later followed up with a phone call to ensure we were on the right path, which was incredibly thoughtful. For lunch, we stopped at Chandoli Resort and enjoyed a delicious veg thali. The meal was not only tasty but also reasonably priced. The staff at the restaurant were equally helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. If you’re looking for a destination to relax, unwind, and enjoy a wild forest experience with scenic drives and the opportunity to interact with local villagers, Chandoli National Park is a great choice.

Amazing experience at Chandoli National Park! The wildlife and natural beauty here is breathtaking. Perfect getaway for nature lovers!
Chaitanya P — Google review
A very beautiful place to explore nature. Moderately dense jungle with a variety of wild trees and animals. The park is open except for the months of monsoon i.e. June to September. One should plan to visit the place early in the morning. Private vehicles are allowed with an authorised guide in your vehicle. There are buses run by the park management where they form a group of 10 or more people. Bus charges are ₹250 per person. I visited this place in summer and during the day. I could not see any wild animals but they showed us some famous spots which include an old temple, well, old mango tree. Overall it was a nice short trip. I think the guide should be trained as we didn't get much information about the park overall.

A Wild Adventure at Chandoli National Park Your experience at Chandoli National Park sounds like a thrilling adventure! 😊 While Google Maps threw you off track, your guide Appa Kamble's kindness and expertise saved the day. It's great to hear that he went above and beyond to ensure your safety and provide a memorable experience. Navigation Tip: For those planning to visit, take note of the warning about Google Maps! 🌟 Use "Chandoli Dam" as the destination instead, and don't hesitate to ask locals for directions. Park Experience: The drive through the forest and trek to the hidehouse must have been breathtaking. Even without spotting much wildlife, the scenery and peaceful atmosphere were surely rejuvenating. Recommendations: - Guide: Appa Kamble (knowledgeable and caring) - Lunch: Chandoli Resort (delicious veg thali, reasonably priced) - Experience: Relax, unwind, and soak in the wild forest vibes Insider Tip: Engage with local villagers and learn about their culture. It's a great way to enrich your experience and create meaningful connections.

Nehru Garden, located on Koyna Dam Road in Humbarli, Maharashtra, is a beautifully maintained garden offering stunning views of the Koyna Dam and its surroundings. This picturesque spot is ideal for nature enthusiasts, families, and anyone seeking a peaceful escape amidst lush greenery and breathtaking landscapes. The garden is thoughtfully landscaped, with vibrant flowerbeds, manicured lawns, and shaded pathways. It provides visitors with plenty of spots to relax and soak in the serene ambiance. The view of the Koyna Dam from the garden is the highlight, offering a panoramic vista of the dam’s vast expanse and the verdant hills that surround it. Many visitors recommend visiting during the monsoon season, as the area transforms into a lush paradise with cascading waterfalls and mist-covered hills. Nehru Garden is designed to cater to visitors of all ages. There are seating areas for those looking to relax, and the pathways are ideal for leisurely walks. Families with children often appreciate the open spaces, where kids can run around and play. The well-maintained premises and clean facilities further enhance the experience. The tranquil setting is also perfect for meditative moments or quiet time with loved ones. While there aren’t dining facilities within the garden, small eateries and local vendors nearby offer snacks and refreshments. In summary, Nehru Garden on Koyna Dam Road is a peaceful and scenic destination that showcases the natural beauty of the region. Its well-maintained grounds, panoramic views, and relaxing ambiance make it a perfect spot for a day trip or a short break. Whether you’re a nature lover, a photographer, or someone looking for a serene outing, Nehru Garden offers a refreshing experience.
Swapnil T — Google review
Timing : 8 am to 8 pm Parking : free of cost No wheelchair available at entrance Koyna Dam View Point and Nehru Garden is a wonderful spot for a family outing, offering scenic views and a peaceful environment. The road conditions to reach here are quite good, making the journey smooth and hassle-free. Once you arrive, you can enjoy panoramic views of both the dam itself and the backwaters, which is truly a sight to behold. Parking is very convenient with a huge free parking area available for both cars and bikes. The entrance fee is nominal, around ₹20-30 per person, but make sure to carry cash as there are no online payment facilities available here. As you step into Nehru Garden, you’ll be greeted by an expansive garden area with well-maintained greenery. At the center of the garden, there is a large dam model that features a beautiful fountain and light show in the evenings, adding a magical touch to the visit. For families with kids, the garden is a paradise — it has a spacious play area equipped with swings, slides, see-saws, and other fun equipment. Towards the end of the park, you’ll find an auditorium that provides detailed information about the dam — from its construction timeline to water storage capacity. There are photographs showcasing the inauguration and the building process of the dam. Additionally, there is a small film theatre where you can watch a documentary about the dam and garden (note that this is chargeable). On the downside, the drinking water facilities and bathroom conditions leave much to be desired and could use improvement. Because of this, I am rating the place 4 stars overall. Tips for Visitors: 1. Carry your own water bottle and some snacks as food options may be limited. 2. Be prepared for less-than-ideal bathroom conditions. 3. There is no security guard in the parking area, so keep an eye on your belongings. 4. The garden is quite large and involves a lot of walking. If you are visiting with elderly or handicapped people, it’s best to bring your own wheelchair. Overall, Koyna Dam View Point and Nehru Garden offers a joyful experience, especially for families with children. It’s a lovely place to relax, learn about this engineering marvel, and enjoy nature’s beauty. Highly recommended for a day trip!

Koyana Nehru Garden: A Journey to Regret Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (Only because zero stars isn't an option) Bro… I swear I must’ve lost my mind when I decided to visit Koyana Nehru Garden. 🛣️ Let’s talk about the road first. From Yerad Patan to Koyana, the road is not a road — it’s a survival test. Potholes bigger than your future, dust storms like you're in a desert, and so bumpy that even your soul gets shaken. Honestly, it felt like I wasn’t traveling in Maharashtra — I was descending into hell with Google Maps. 🎟️ Paid Entry for What?! After all that trauma, they had the audacity to charge ₹25 per person. For what, exactly? For disappointment? I walked in expecting a garden… and saw nothing. Just a few plants pretending to be alive, and the garden is so small, I think I saw the exit before I finished blinking. 📸 Photos are a scam. Whatever you see in photos? That’s it. The whole garden. You can literally take all the pictures in 30 seconds and still have time to regret your life choices. 🌳 Wanna hear the worst part? I’ve seen village cremation grounds with better landscaping and more peace than this place. No joke. ⚠️ Final Warning: Do yourself a favor — don’t go. Don’t even think about going. Tell your enemies about it, not your friends. You’ll save fuel, time, mental health, and ₹25 which you can use to buy something that actually exists… like happiness.

Shivsagar Lake, located in the Satara district, is a serene reservoir surrounded by lush hills. It offers a peaceful spot for day trips and picnics with its clean and fresh waters. The lake, situated near Koyna dam, provides a beautiful experience with its cool ambiance and verdant surroundings. Visitors can enjoy boat rides and motor speed boating on the lake. However, it's important to note that during peak summers, water scarcity may occur as the lake dries up.
Best view of koyna dam backwater. Must visit for lake lovers. Boating is best part here.

Shivsagar Lake is located in Kamargaon. A beautiful lake located near Koyna damn offering a wonderful experience. Very cool ambience and beautiful greenery surrounds the lake. But during peak summers the lake is dried up and water is scarce. The dried up Shivsagar Lake (Koyna backwaters) shows how places across the country are facing acute water crisis. Boat ride is available. Motor speed boating is best here. The lake is very huge so don't go for normal boating as speed boating gives an amazing experience.

What a fantastic muesum in small town of Aundh. This is great visionary museum and its very good museum crafted by Aundh sansthan and Maharashtra Government. This whole building is spectacular. Must visit place for history and art lovers. Photography inside muesum is not allowed. So click only outside picture but its must visit place

A beautiful museum with very rare artifcats and many things to see. There are beautiful paintings and sculptures of various types by various artists. There are very beautiful metallic and ivory sculptures with intricate details. There are sandalwood carvings and also ancient papers. It's a shame that that the Government of Maharashtra which looks after this museum has not cared to check spelling mistakes in the labels under the paintings. Even Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's spelling is spelled wrong multiple times. This is not right for such a beautiful museum and such mistakes are not good when serious foreign tourists visit.
Nikhil G — Google review
Museum has more than 8,000 articles and 16,000 books including 3500 holy books (handwritten). Shrimant Balasaheb Maharaj studied the science of museum and constructed the present building with the help of foreign architects, considering natural light , ventilation and protection. Its great wonder to see the huge one man collection in such a rural area of the district. The scenic building of the museum situated on the slope of Aundh Hill, famous ‘Yamai Mandir’ is located at the top of hill with height approx. 800 ft. Aundh is 43 Kms from Satara, well connected by roads.

More than 500 paintings & 100s of monuments. Ancient cameras and what not. At least need 2 to 3 hours to explore the complete museum. No cameras or photoshoot allowed inside. The museum entrance is so photogenic and a garden itself. Also, ancient craved statues made of black stones like ajanta are kept under a shade. So that people could get in the vibe before entering the museum. Highly recommended. Must visit.

Excellent place to visit. Good waterfall in Sahyadri range near Satara. Walkways and stairs are well developed so you can have good views of waterfall. Entry fee is Rs 50 per person. If you want to see both falls you have to trek little more. Old age people who has difficulty in walking should avoid. Two water falls big and small. Big water fall can be seen from specially made overview platform. It's in valley and in rainy season you will enjoy this waterfall. Small water fall is from less height and you can go near falls. Cave behind waterfall is amazing. Enjoyed visit very much. Highly recommended during rainy season.

Satara Thoseghar Waterfall is one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Satara and an absolute must-visit place for nature lovers. Surrounded by dense greenery and countless trees, the area offers a breathtaking view of both big and small waterfalls cascading beautifully down the cliffs. The sound of the flowing water combined with the peaceful forest atmosphere makes it a truly refreshing experience. The main viewpoint gives a clear sight of the tall, majestic waterfall, which looks even more stunning during or right after the monsoon. The smaller waterfall area is also very scenic, and they even offer professional photography near the water at an extra charge of ₹2000 — a nice option if you want memorable pictures. Entry tickets cost ₹50 per person, and it’s definitely worth every rupee for the view and experience you get. The place is generally well-maintained, but visitors should be cautious about monkeys, especially while walking toward the big waterfall. These monkeys can be aggressive and may try to snatch food or bags, so carrying a stick for safety is advisable. Overall, Thoseghar Waterfall is a peaceful yet adventurous destination that offers stunning scenery, fresh air, and a close connection with nature. When in Satara, this place is not to be missed — especially if combined with a visit to the nearby Chalkewadi Windmills for a perfect day trip.
Swapnil — Google review
The Thoseghar Waterfall near Satara, Maharashtra, is known for its beautiful series of cascades, and visitor reviews frequently praise its scenic charm. The site is noted for being well-maintained and offering a less-crowded experience, especially if you visit during the week or early in the morning. A well-managed and tranquil experience What sets Thoseghar apart is its ability to offer a peaceful communion with nature, a stark contrast to more heavily commercialized destinations. The management of the site is a significant reason for this. Orderly infrastructure: The site features well-constructed pathways and steps, which are safe and easy to navigate. An observation gallery with protective railings has been set up to prevent accidents and give visitors an excellent view of the main falls. Controlled access: There is a nominal entry fee that contributes to the site's upkeep, and access is managed by forest officials at the gate. This helps control the number of people on-site at any given time. Viewing areas: Separate viewpoints are designated for the main and smaller waterfalls, providing a clear and safe way to enjoy both spectacular sights. This reduces crowding in any single spot and enhances the overall visitor experience.
Piyush J — Google review
Thoseghar Waterfall in Maharashtra’s Satara district is a natural wonder made up of two major waterfalls, locally known as chota dabdaba and motha dabdaba (meaning small and large waterfalls, respectively). The pathway to the chota dabdaba is quite long and has several ups and downs, but the view is absolutely worth it. Entry to this waterfall is restricted as the water flows with great force, making it risky for visitors. The paths are not well maintained and can get slippery due to the mist and splashes from the falls. There’s a viewing deck for the motha dabdaba, from where you can soak in the breathtaking view. The site is maintained by the Satara Forest Department. Parking space and washrooms are available, though the washroom wasn’t lit during the evening hours, which can be unsafe. Recommendations: - Wear good-quality sports or trekking shoes - Elderly visitors should avoid the steeper paths - Carry a water bottle if needed - Walk carefully; avoid rushing or running - Don’t litter - Don’t pluck flowers or disturb the natural surroundings

Futka Talab Ganesh Temple is a small but sacred temple of Lord Ganesha, located beside a serene pond. The surroundings are peaceful, giving the place a very calm and spiritual vibe. It is not commercialized, so you truly feel the authentic village-style devotion here. The temple architecture is simple, and the atmosphere is divine. The talab (pond) adds natural beauty, especially during the monsoon when the area looks green and refreshing. Shri Uttar Chidambaram Nataraj Temple is a magnificent Hindu temple dedicated to the Tandava Performance avatar of Lord Shiva as Lord Nataraja. Located in Satara, it is a popular destination for religious travelers. The temple's architecture resembles that of South Indian temples and is adorned with stone depictions of Bharatanatyam postures. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the temple, adding to its sacred ambiance.

The Shri Uttara Chidambaram Nataraja Mandir, located in Satara, Maharashtra, is a distinguished temple dedicated to Lord Nataraja, an embodiment of Lord Shiva performing the cosmic dance, Tandava. This temple is a faithful replica of the renowned Chidambaram Temple in Tamil Nadu, earning it the moniker “Uttara Chidambaram” or “Northern Chidambaram.” Established in 1985, the temple’s inception was inspired by Pujyasri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Mahaswamiji during his stay in Satara. The construction was a collaborative effort, with contributions from the state governments of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, while Kerala provided the timber required for the structure. Renowned architect M. S. Ganapathi Sthapathi led the design, ensuring the temple’s adherence to traditional Dravidian architectural principles. The temple complex is notable for its intricate carvings and sculptures, including 180 representations of Bharatnatyam dance mudras. It houses several shrines dedicated to various deities, such as Adi Shankaracharya, Lord Ayyappa, Lord Hanuman, Radha-Krishna, the Navagrahas, and Lord Ganesha, reflecting a confluence of spiritual traditions. Situated along National Highway 4, the temple is easily accessible and serves as a significant spiritual and cultural landmark in the region. Its serene ambiance and architectural grandeur make it a must-visit destination for devotees and tourists alike.

Natraj Mandir in Satara, also known as Uttara Chidambaram Temple, is one of the most peaceful and beautifully designed temples in the city. Dedicated to Lord Natraj, it reflects South Indian Dravidian architecture with tall gopurams, detailed carvings, and a calm spiritual atmosphere. The temple is clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible from the main highway. I like how it represents unity between different states, as it was built with the support of several southern states. Visiting the temple early morning feels very divine and refreshing. It is an ideal place for prayer, meditation, and appreciating traditional art and culture. In my opinion, Natraj Mandir is not only a religious place but also a cultural landmark of Satara, bringing peace and pride to everyone who visits.

A peaceful temple of Lord Natraj which is known as an Avatar of Lord Shiva and god of Dance, situated right in the middle of the Satara city. The art works are fascinating and interesting. The temple has openings from 4 sides with exactly same design and style. The architecture of the temple will remind of the temples from South India. There are around 7-8 small temples of various Gods and Goddesses situated inside the temple.

The food was a highlight: delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, perfectly complementing their excellent wines. The staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. The location itself is stunning — peaceful, scenic, and a perfect getaway for wine lovers or anyone looking to unwind in nature. Highly recommended for a serene escape with great food and wine! A special shoutout to Mr. Ravi who attended us, for his exceptional service — he was warm, attentive, and made our visit even more memorable.

This was my third trip to Fratelli vineyard and I must say that my experience gets better with every trip. To begin with the roads are getting better and broader and hence easier to drive. The addition of new wines are great, the new M/S range is so good. The room cleanliness and staff has greatly improved and I would give them a 10 on 10 rating for that. Special mention to Bhola who made a very sincere effort to cook as per our requirements and of course Ravi who helped with everything from wine tasting to drive to the machan and also the distillery. Overall a great trip

What more can I say about Fratelli Wineyards that hasn't already been said by all the 5 star reviews? We had visited as a family of 7 which had 4 adults and 3 children. The experience here was unbelievably customized for us, since we were the only ones staying there apart from their consultants. They have exactly four rooms, of which two are usually occupied by the shareholders and the remaining two are open for guests. The rooms are huge, airy, immaculately maintained and modern. The washrooms are clean, spacious and well-maintained with all the necessary toiletries. Both the rooms open out into a long, flowing common garden where kids can play badminton or frisbee or whatever you bring along. Initially, the property was so tastefully developed by the shareholders for themselves that they decided to extend their experience to guests. So this includes kitchen staff ready at (only) your service, ready to make any cuisine you prefer. We had delicious Maharshtrian food once and Italian food in our next meal (they make good Italian food since one of their shareholders is Italian). Bhola, Maushi and others in the kitchen are very humble and pay attention only to you, since again, there are no other guests except you. One thing we noted, was that everyone from the front office, houskeeping, factory staff, kitchen staff, managers, etc...are all deeply attached to the owners, respect them and stand by them for the way they treat their staff and also for the social work they have done in the villages in the vicinity, such as adopting an entire village, construction of schools, making sustainable water management systems for villagers, sponsoring the education of children, buying grape produce from third party farmers at respectable prices and overall for creating sustainable employment among the local population. This respect in turn, flows down in the way the staff treats their guests. We visited their machan on the day of our arrival. We were driven there in an open-hood Tata Xenon pickup through lush green fields of sugarcane, banana and grape. We enjoyed every minute of the 45 minute off-road ride. The machan, a big hall tastefully made of cane and bamboo, is on a hilltop overseeing hundreds of acres of grape cultivation. The hilltop is tastefully landscaped too. We reached just before sunset. What followed was an experience to remember for a lifetime. The sun was setting in all its glory and we had a direct view of it setting in between distant hills. All this while while having wine, cheese, crackers, coffee and other snacks brought along by our driver. By the time the sun had almost set, we glanced over our shoulder and saw that the blood moon had already risen over the horizon at the same time on the opposite side! No lights anywhere, no noise...just a serene, peaceful and magical moment. After sunset, we went back to the hotel, enjoying the blood moon from our open-top SUV all the way. When we got back, we had a sumptuous dinner after which the kids watched an animation movie on the big-screen TV, chilling in Lazyboy chairs amd cushy sofas. We adults played a little pool nearby. The next day we were given a tour of the entire factory and operations, along with a drive in their vintage Mahindra through the grape fields. The property is very kid-friendly and has a few sports equipments on offer, a few bicycles and a quad bike ride, along with an big open lawn to play on. The experience at Fratelli is one we will never forget and will definitely come।back for, hopefully this monsoon. For the future, they have plans to tie up with Taj for a world-class tourist facility on a hilltop overseeing their grape fields. As it stands, their existing facility itself is so mesmerising and staff so magnanimous, that we are sure they be successful in their future ventures.

Walled temple with multicolored towers & 2 hilltop shrines, where devotees spread turmeric powder.
A Truly Divine Experience at Shri Khandoba Temple, Jejuri My recent visit to the Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri was nothing short of a divine and profoundly uplifting experience. Nestled atop a hill, this sacred abode of Lord Khandoba truly captivates the soul with its spiritual aura and vibrant atmosphere. What truly sets Jejuri apart is the incredible tradition of "Bhandara." Witnessing devotees enthusiastically shower the deity and the temple premises with copious amounts of turmeric powder creates a mesmerizing spectacle. The entire complex is bathed in a golden hue, a tangible expression of devotion that invigorates the senses and fills the air with a unique, spiritual energy. It's an unforgettable visual and sensory experience that leaves a lasting impression. The temple's architecture, with its unique Hemadpanthi style blending stone and brick, is a testament to its rich history and cultural heritage. Despite the bustling crowds, especially on weekends, I found moments of profound peace within the sanctum. The friendly demeanor of the staff and volunteers further enhanced the visit, making it a welcoming place for all.

Traditionally, the husband carries his wife up at least the first five steps of the temple. Turmeric powder, known as bhandara, is spread all over the temple, giving it a golden look. When devotees throw turmeric into the air as an offering to the deity, it creates a truly amazing sight.🌫️ Note: 1. After darshan, when exiting from the left side, you will notice two people sitting near the exit gate inside the temple. Be cautious—they call out to you, ask your name, and request a donation in the name of God. You’ll see ₹200–₹500 notes in front of them. It’s best to avoid engaging with them. 2. It's advisable to stay away from local pandits, as some may try to extract money from you. 3. After the darshan, you can visit the place where Shahaji Raje and Shivaji Maharaj met.

A truly divine and peaceful experience at Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri. The temple is beautifully built giving it a unique and majestic look. The atmosphere is full of positive energy, and the view from the top is breathtaking. The steps are a bit steep but worth the climb for the darshan. Must visit for anyone seeking spiritual vibes and a glimpse of Maharashtra’s rich culture.

We recently visited Mayureshwar Ganpati Mandir at Morgaon, and honestly, it was such a peaceful and divine experience. We reached early in the morning around 5:30 AM, so luckily there was no waiting at all - we got direct darshan without any crowd. The atmosphere at that time was so calm - the sound of bells, a gentle breeze, and that early morning silence just made everything feel so spiritual. The temple is clean and beautifully maintained, and the Ganpati idol looks truly divine. There are a few shops outside for prasad & flowers but they were closed since we reached very early in the morning ... Parking space is also available, and tea stalls were open at that time, early in the morning.... If you're planning to visit, I'd definitely suggest going early morning for a peaceful and fulfilling darshan. Truly a beautiful and soul-soothing experience! 🙏✨

It was a truly wonderful devotional and spiritual experience. 🌸 Ashtavinayak is not just about visiting temples, it’s about the peace, energy, and significance each place holds. A must visit for anyone seeking both faith and a deeper connection with tradition. Highly recommended!

I visited the temple on Tuesday and had a wonderful experience. The darshan of Ganeshji was truly divine and peaceful. What made it even better was that there was no rush or crowd, which allowed me to spend some serene time in devotion and soak in the spiritual atmosphere.

One off the Ganapati temple from Shree Ashtavinayak. Its based in Morgaon, the temple has great history. Temple is built in ancient times but is still in great condition, many pilgrims visit here daily. Lot of shops nearby temple. Its well maintained.
Atul G — Google review
Significance: First and most important temple in the Ashtavinayak circuit. It is believed that pilgrimage should start and end here Architecture & Ambience The temple is built in black stone with a distinctive Nagarkhana (music gallery) at the entrance. Surrounded by four gates in the shape of a peacock (hence the name Mayureshwar). The main sanctum is calm, with the idol facing north, which is rare in Ganpati temples. The idol is considered Swayambhu (self-manifested), adorned with a Nag (serpent) and a diamond in the navel. Experience Spiritual Vibe: Very serene and deeply devotional atmosphere. Crowd: Moderate on weekdays, heavy during weekends and Ganesh Chaturthi. Darshan Time: Quick on normal days (10-15 minutes), but expect queues during festivals. Cleanliness: Overall good, maintained by the trust. Facilities Parking: Available near the temple. Food: Small eateries and prasad shops nearby. Stay: Few basic lodging options around; Pune city (~65 km) has better choices. Shops: Plenty of pooja and prasad shops at the entrance. Best Time to Visit Early morning for peaceful darshan. Avoid peak festivals if you prefer less crowd.

Kune Falls, located about 4 km from Lonavala and 2 km from Khandala Railway Station, is a picturesque waterfall nestled in the Sahyadri range. With its dramatic tiered structure and scenic mountain views, it's a popular spot for photography and adventure enthusiasts. The falls cascade down three levels amidst thick forests and mountain bluffs, offering an enchanting visual experience.
Beautiful location.. many small waterfalls and a huge one too.. th location on Google is not exactly precise but once you reach there ask locals and you'll be at the waterfalls. Use a vehicle with proper ground clearance.

Shree Mahaganapati Ranjangaon, one of the revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, is a must-visit destination for devotees and travelers alike. Nestled in the serene village of Ranjangaon, approximately 50 km from Pune, this ancient temple boasts a rich history linked to Lord Shiva's invocation of Ganesha before vanquishing the demon Tripurasura.
I have visited this temple twice, and both times, it was a wonderful and spiritual experience. The temple has a peaceful and divine atmosphere, making it a must-visit for devotees of Lord Ganesha. The architecture is beautiful, and the temple premises are well-maintained. However, one thing that I did not like was the VIP darshan system. People who pay ₹100 per person get quick access, while others have to wait in long queues for 1-2 hours, and even longer (2-3 hours) on weekends. This makes it difficult for common devotees who visit with faith and devotion. Apart from that, the overall experience was great. The temple attracts a huge crowd, which shows its significance. If you plan to visit, try going on a weekday to avoid long waiting times.

🙏 Shree Mahaganapati Temple, Ranjangaon (Ashtavinayak Kshetra) श्री महागणपती मंदिर, रांजणगाव I recently had the divine opportunity to visit Shree Mahaganapati Temple at Ranjangaon – one of the eight revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva worshipped Ganesha before fighting the demon Tripurasura. The idol here is known as Mahaganapati, a powerful and majestic form of Ganesh with 10 trunks and 20 arms (though the original idol is kept hidden in the sanctum and shown only on special occasions). The temple architecture is stunning – a beautiful blend of peace, spirituality, and historic charm. The calmness and spiritual aura of the place are truly mesmerizing. It is well maintained and organized for devotees, even during weekends and holidays. The temple complex is clean, with ample space for parking, and basic amenities like toilets and drinking water. There are shops outside selling prasad, flowers, and souvenirs. I recommend reaching early in the morning or during the evening aarti time to avoid rush and experience the serene atmosphere. The drive from Pune is smooth and scenic (approx. 50 km), making it a perfect spiritual getaway. This temple is often visited as part of the full Ashtavinayak Yatra, but even if you’re visiting individually, it leaves you with a sense of divine satisfaction. 🌟 Tips for Devotees: Mobile phones and cameras are allowed, but photography inside the sanctum is restricted. Wear comfortable footwear (to be removed before entering the temple). Try the local Maharashtrian food in the nearby stalls. 🙏 A must-visit spiritual destination that combines devotion, history, and tranquility. Truly blessed to have experienced the divine presence of Mahaganapati Bappa! गणपती बाप्पा मोरया! 🙏

It’s a famous one of the Ashta-Vinayaka (Among 8 Main Ganapati Mandir) situated at Ranjangoan. The Mandir is small but the surrounding area is specious. Lots of small temples are situated inside the Mandir itself. The Entrance is amazing. There is no rush during weekdays. But lots of waiting during weekends and Sankashti.
Pratiksha D — Google review
A highly revered temple of Ganesh. It is one of the ashtavinayak temples. It is right on main road and quite crowded. There are lot of puja item shops on way to temple. Parking space is available but due to large crowd it is usually occupied. In Temple just before entering garbhagrih there is a large gold plate which has Ganapati Atharvashirsh engraved on it.
Vishal S — Google review
It was an amazing experience. It is easily accessible as it is just along the highway which makes it convenient to reach. The only downside is the huge line just for hardly 1 min of darshan which is a problem for almost all the temples so can't complain about it. The atmosphere is good, you can also sit for hours in the garden area as it is peaceful and calm.

Fortress
Nestled in the heart of Ahmednagar, the historic Ahmednagar Fort is a captivating destination that beckons history enthusiasts and curious travelers alike. This centuries-old fortress, originally built in the 16th century during the reign of the Ahmednagar Sultanate, boasts impressive architecture and a rich tapestry of stories from various rulers and dynasties. Once a prison for Indian independence leaders in the 1940s under British rule, it has witnessed countless invasions throughout its storied past.
One of the oldest forts in India. It has Nizam Shahi architecture and was the headquarters of the Ahmednagar Sultanate.
CYBER F — Google review
Only a certain portion of the fort is open to public.. army area.. parking available within the fort .. not maintained properly.. no tickets.. free entry.. 1. Foundation and Architectural Style: The fort was constructed around 1559 CE during the reign of Malik Ahmad Nizam Shah. Its architecture is a blend of medieval Indian military fortifications, with high walls, bastions, and a surrounding moat. It was designed to serve as a military stronghold and withstand sieges. The circular design with 24 bastions makes it one of the most formidable forts of its time. 2. Role in the Deccan Sultanates: Ahmednagar Fort was the seat of power for the Nizam Shahi dynasty of the Deccan region. It was central to their control over the Deccan Plateau and saw numerous battles during the wars between the Sultanates of Bijapur, Golconda, and the Mughal Empire. 3. Conflict with the Mughals: In 1600, the fort became the site of intense conflict when the Mughal Emperor Akbar laid siege to it. Chand Bibi, the queen regent of Ahmednagar, famously defended the fort against Akbar’s forces. However, the fort eventually fell to the Mughals, marking the decline of the Nizam Shahi dynasty. Aurangzeb, the Mughal emperor, also used Ahmednagar Fort during his campaigns to subdue the Marathas. 4. Role during British Rule: The fort gained renewed significance during the British colonial period. It was used as a prison by the British to detain several Indian freedom fighters during the independence movement. Most notably, Jawaharlal Nehru, along with other leaders of the Indian National Congress, was imprisoned in Ahmednagar Fort in 1942 during the Quit India Movement. Nehru wrote his famous book, "The Discovery of India," while incarcerated here

The Ahmednagar fort is a small fort occupied by military. Military allows visit of fort free. The structures inside fort are in dilapidated condition in absence of maintenance. The wall of fort is strong and one can walk on the wall of fort. It takes maximum one hour to complete tour of fort
Ravi S — Google review
The fort was built during A.D. 1553 to A.D. 1565. The fort has 24 bastions, one large gate and some other gates. The fort has seen many handovers of powers from Nizams to Mughals to Peshwa and to British emperors finally coming under regulation of India post independence. This is very strong fort on ground and was difficult to conquer in the history. It is quite large and some area can be seen by general public as rest of the area is army camp. During Aug 1942 to April 1945, Indian political leaders were kept as interns of this fort which was converted to British jail that time.. View from fort wall is very nice. Feel very proud to see big tricolor flag on the wall ! You can go to tank museum which is nearby (approx 3 km from fort)

This is over 500 years old fort. It's now open to see it , just that we need to keep our id card at the entrance and need to pick it up once you are done. Octagonal Palace is a nice architectural monument. Leaders block is a place where many of the freedom fighters were prisoned from 1942- 1945. Our first prime minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru wrote his famous book Discovery of India in this prison. They have many self explanatory boards. One can walk on the walls of the fort. It's nice panoramic view. Very quite place.

Shree Shanidev Temple, Shani Shingnapur is a revered Jeet Devasthan in Ahmednagar district, known for its powerful deity Lord Shani. The temple houses a black stone believed to be the dwelling place of Lord Shani and attracts thousands of devotees annually. The village where the temple is located is unique as none of its houses have doors and locks, as it's believed that Lord Shani safeguards their possessions from theft.
✨ A truly unique and powerful spiritual experience! My visit to the Shree Shaneshwar Devasthan in Shani Shingnapur was truly memorable. The atmosphere around the open-air shrine for Lord Shani is deeply serene and humbling. It’s amazing to see the devotion of people performing rituals with full faith. Even with the crowd, the Darshan process was well-managed 🙏 🏞️ The outside views and the surrounding village are just as fascinating. 🏡 The local tradition of houses without doors 🚪 shows the deep trust the villagers have in Lord Shani’s protection. This faith gives the whole place a historic and divine feel. 🌿 Overall, it’s a peaceful, spiritual, and culturally rich place that everyone should visit at least once. Highly recommended for both devotion and culture experience. 🙌

Devotees offer oil, and the temple is well-maintained, though it can get crowded. Parking is available, and facilities like washrooms and food stalls are nearby. The temple is well-maintained, and the darshan experience was smooth. A place of faith and devotion that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.

🌑 About the Temple The temple is dedicated to Lord Shani (Saturn) — the god of justice. The idol of Shani Dev is a black stone (swayambhu), about 5.5 feet tall, installed on an open platform — no roof above, symbolizing Shani Dev’s presence everywhere. The temple is open 24 hours a day, and devotees can perform abhishek and prayers anytime. No temple doors, no village locks — people believe Shani Dev protects everyone from theft or harm. --- 🕉️ Special Features Saturdays and Amavasya (new moon day) attract lakhs of devotees. Men traditionally wear a new dhoti and enter bare-bodied to perform oil abhishek. Women are allowed to offer prayers from a designated platform (rules were updated in 2016). Common offerings: Black cloth, mustard oil, sesame (til), iron items, and flowers. --- 🛣️ How to Reach ✈️ By Air: Nearest Airport – Aurangabad Airport (90 km) or Pune Airport (160 km) 🚆 By Train: Nearest Railway Station – Rahuri (32 km) or Ahmednagar (35 km) 🚗 By Road: From Shirdi – 75 km (1.5 hrs drive) From Pune – 160 km (3–4 hrs drive) From Nashik – 150 km (3 hrs drive) Regular state transport buses and taxis are available. --- 🏨 Stay Options Many Dharamshalas, lodges, and hotels are available near the temple. Many devotees also stay in Shirdi and visit Shani Shingnapur on a day trip. --- 🧭 Nearby Places to Visit 🛕 Shirdi Sai Baba Temple – 75 km 🛕 Renuka Devi Temple, Mahur 🛕 Ellora Caves & Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga (Aurangabad) – around 90 km 🌊 Nevasa River and old fort ruins
Abhinay M — Google review
The simplicity of the Shani Shingnapur Temple is what makes it extraordinary.Unlike conventional temples adorned with ornate carvings and towering domes, this shrine consists solely of a five-and-a-half-foot black stone idol standing on a raised platform under the vast sky. Flanking the idol is a trident (Trishula), Lord Shiva’s sacred bull (Nandi) & Lord Hanuman’s figure, enhancing the spiritual aura of the site. Devotees perform rituals such as ‘Abhishekam’, where oil is poured over the idol to pacify Lord Shani’s influence. Saturdays and new moon days (Amavasya) are considered especially auspicious, drawing thousands of pilgrims eager to seek relief from Saturn’s planetary malefic effects. Some devotees even walk barefoot for miles to reach the temple, demonstrating their deep reverence.

Shani Shingnapur Temple is a unique and spiritually powerful place dedicated to Lord Shani. The temple’s open-air idol and the belief that no one in the village locks their homes make it a fascinating and faith-filled experience. The atmosphere is calm and devotional, and the nearby shops and facilities are convenient for visitors. However, it can get quite crowded on weekends and festival days, which affects the overall comfort. Overall, a deeply spiritual destination worth visiting.

Review: Shri Shani Shingnapur Mandir Shri Shani Shingnapur Mandir is located in a fairly remote area with limited access to affordable public transportation. Private transport options are quite costly, and the state transport services are not very reliable. It’s advisable to avoid traveling by bike or moped, as the roads leading to the temple are in poor condition and can be challenging to navigate. Important Note: If you wish to perform the oil abhishek ritual on the Shani Shila individually, a separate charge of ₹500 applies.
Sandeep A — Google review
Shree Shanidev Maharaj Temple, located in Shani Shingnapur village of Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra, is one of the most famous temples dedicated to Lord Shani, the deity representing planet Saturn. The temple is unique for its open-air shrine — there is no roof over the idol — symbolizing that Lord Shani watches everyone under the open sky. The black stone idol of Shani Dev, believed to have self-manifested (Swayambhu), was discovered centuries ago by a shepherd after it appeared from a riverbed. When the shepherd touched the stone with a stick, it started bleeding, revealing its divine power. That night, Lord Shani appeared in his dream, declaring that the stone was his idol and he should be worshipped there without any shelter. The villagers obeyed his instructions, and since then, the temple stands open to the sky. Another remarkable tradition of Shani Shingnapur is that no house in the village has doors or locks. The people have immense faith that Lord Shani protects them from theft and wrongdoing. It is believed that anyone who attempts theft or deceit in the village will face divine punishment from Shani Dev. Devotees from across India visit the temple, especially on Saturdays and Amavasya (new moon day), to seek blessings and relief from the malefic effects of Shani in their lives. Oil is offered to the deity as part of the rituals, as it is said to please Lord Shani. The temple is managed by a trust and continues to maintain its age-old customs. Shani Shingnapur stands not only as a center of devotion but also as a symbol of faith, discipline, and the moral belief that honesty and righteousness always triumph under the watchful eyes of Lord Shanidev.

On the Ahmednagar - Aurangabad National Highway, there is a hidden gem between Shirdi and Shani-Shingnapur, known as the Sonai Renuka Mata Temple. It is known for its stunning décor of designer glasses adorning its walls and pillars. Apart from its sacred significance, an interesting game captivated my curiosity. There is a playful ritual involving a pot and a handful of coins. One has to toss a coin and aim to land it in the pot below. Legend has it that if your coin finds its mark, your wishes will come true. Beyond the superstition, one couldn’t resist playing this delightful game, tossing several coins with hopeful anticipation.

Shirdi Sai baba temple is a blissful and peaceful devotional place wherein the devotees with FAITH (Shraddha) in their heart get their wishes fulfilled. The temple premises is clean and well maintained. The prasadalay is also well maintained and you’re served food as much as you can eat. You’re not allowed waste any food. This rule should be applied everywhere so that people don’t water food. There is saying in Marathi - “Anna he purna Brahma”.

🌸 Shirdi Sai Baba: A Divine Beacon of Peace and Spiritual Awakening 🌸 In the sacred town of Shirdi, nestled in the heart of Maharashtra, stands a holy sanctuary — the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple — a place that transcends religion, caste, and creed. It is not just a temple made of stone and mortar; it is a living realm of divinity, compassion, and universal brotherhood. People from all walks of life, regardless of their background, are drawn here in search of peace, healing, and inner transformation. Sai Baba of Shirdi, revered as a Saint, Fakir, and Satguru, is the embodiment of love without conditions and faith without fear. His presence continues to inspire millions across the globe to lead lives rooted in truth, humility, and devotion. Baba never identified with any particular religion — he often said, "Sabka Malik Ek" — “God is One”. These simple yet profound words echo through time, reminding us that the divine resides in all beings. 🕊️ The World of Peace and Spiritual Harmony To step into the world of Sai Baba is to step into a space of deep inner stillness. His teachings were not filled with complex rituals or doctrines; rather, they focused on compassion, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, and faith. The very air of Shirdi carries a vibration of calmness and spiritual elevation, guiding the restless soul toward serenity. Baba taught us that true spirituality lies in selfless service, in helping others, in feeding the hungry, in comforting the grieving, and in uplifting the downtrodden. He saw no difference between rich and poor, Hindu and Muslim, or educated and uneducated — to him, all were children of the One Supreme Power. 🌿 Life Lessons from Sai Baba: Learning to Truly Live The timeless wisdom of Sai Baba is a guide to navigating the challenges of modern life with grace and dignity. Here are some of the most cherished lessons we can draw from his life: Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience): Baba constantly emphasized these two pillars. Have unshakeable faith in the Divine, and wait with patience; everything unfolds in its time. Love All, Serve All: He urged people to rise above ego and hatred and instead, serve humanity with love. Service to others is service to God. Forgive and Let Go: Holding on to anger or revenge only poisons the soul. Sai Baba often forgave even those who wronged him — a true lesson in humility and spiritual strength. Equality and Unity: Baba broke down all social and religious barriers. His very life was a message that we are all one, united under one Divine light. Contentment and Simplicity: He lived a humble life, teaching us to find joy not in material wealth, but in gratitude, simplicity, and inner contentment. --- 🙏 A Personal Journey with Baba For many devotees, Baba is more than a saint — he is a companion, guide, healer, and divine protector. Whether you're facing illness, emotional turmoil, or spiritual confusion, turning to Baba with a sincere heart brings light into the darkest moments. His presence is not bound by time or space. You may feel it in the stillness of a prayer, the kindness of a stranger, or the silent answers that come in meditation. Baba listens to every heart that calls him, and his grace flows silently yet powerfully. --- 🛕 In Closing: A Temple in the Heart While the Shirdi temple is a sacred pilgrimage for millions, the true temple of Baba is the human heart. When we live by his teachings — of love, service, and truth — we carry his spirit with us wherever we go. In doing so, we become channels of the very peace and light that Sai Baba offered to the world. May Sai Baba bless you and your loved ones with health, harmony, guidance, and unwavering faith. May his light shine on your path and lead you to the divine peace that resides within. 🕉️ Om Sai Ram! 🕉️

There are many gates to enter the temple but if you want to have a free darshan then enter from gate no. 7. The charge for VIP darshan is 200 rupees. You have to deposit your mobile in the clock room where the charge is 5 rupees per phone. You get darshan in 30 minutes. The management is very good, there is a provision to sit in the line inside and there is also a washroom and there is also a provision for many fan coller..

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a peaceful and divine place to visit. Near Gate 6, you’ll find mobile lockers available for just Rs 5 per phone, along with free shoe stands. For free darshan, head to Gate 7, which you can reach from Dwarkamai Temple, if Dwarkamai is in front of you, go left and take the first right. You’ll pass the mobile lockers first, and then Gate 7 is right there. On weekends, the wait time for free darshan is usually around 3 hours, and the entire process can take 3-4 hours. We also visited once on a Monday morning around 6 AM, and it only took about 1.5 to 2 hours for the complete Darshan. If you prefer paid darshan, you can either book online in advance or book near temple, enter through Gate 6 when you arrive. Wait time is much lesser than free Darshan but it'll still take almost 2 if crowded. Inside the temple, there is usually some waiting time before darshan, so visitors are asked to sit in waiting halls. Opposite these halls, there’s a counter where you can get free unlimited tea and biscuits. They also sell chips and water at prices much lower than market rate. After darshan, don’t forget to pick up your free food coupons next to the neem tree. Near the exit, you will also receive packets of prasad and vibhooti. Additionally, there’s a laddu counter near the lendi garden entry, opposite the neem tree, where you can get the famous Shirdi laddu.
