Sights & Landmarks
The Cathedral of St. Mary of La Seu Vella is a historic complex located in the heart of Lleida, featuring a cathedral and fortress dating back to the 18th century. Stepping into the fortress feels like entering a different era, showcasing impressive architecture, stonework, and art from that period. Despite wars and natural decay leading to the destruction of most buildings in the complex, the cathedral and castle have endured over time as remarkable remnants of this historical site.

Park
Nature & Parks
Parc de la Mitjana in Lleida is a vast and stunning park located on the outskirts of the city. It gives off a natural reserve vibe with a river flowing through it, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can spend hours exploring the park, enjoying picnics, and playing at the well-maintained children's play area which includes a pond and bridge. The park offers excellent opportunities for hiking, cycling, and running, making it perfect for outdoor activities.
Beautiful park, we spent almost 3hours just walking around, playing at the parks and enjoying a picnic. The restrooms were clean and easy to access. The children's play area is beautiful and even has a pond and bridge.
Elisa B — Google review
On the edge of the city of Lleida, and known as the "Lung of Lleida" La Mitjana is a great area for walking, cycling, canoeing, going for a family picnic, and birding. A lot of work has gone and still goes into its approximately 100 hectares of gallery woodland, maintaining paths, walkways, footbridges and waterways. It's popular with the inhabitants of Lleida, many of whom walk their dogs there or go jogging or cycling. White and Black Poplar, willow, ash and tamarisk are the main trees and bushes, and together with the river Segre and the canal de Balaguer they attract a good number and variety of interesting birds. Woodpecker, for example, have become well-established, with Wryneck, Greater Spotted, Lesser Spotted and Iberian Green Woodpecker all possible. Then you have Golden Oriole, Common Kingfisher, Penduline Tit, White Stork, Eurasian Hoopoe and more to make a stroll through La MItjana with your binoculars a valid proposal if you are in the city.

This park has great trails by the river bank. Unfortunately, one of the trails was blocked 🚫. The total lack of parking spaces to start your exploration makes it go down in my ratings!

Here is the wonderful place to hike, to ride a bicycle and to run in Lleida, Cataluña. If you love nature, you should definitely visit in Parc de la Mitjana. 😊👍

Castillo de Monzón

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Great climb up the ramp and stunning views of the region from the top! It was great to imagine the castle throughout time. We visited in summer of 2023 and had great weather and guided experience
Eric M — Google review
Absolutely worth the visit! Castillo de Monzón is a stunning and atmospheric fortress with incredible history, especially tied to the Knights Templar. The views from the hilltop are breathtaking, and the castle itself is impressively preserved. One of the most fascinating parts is that this was once a major Templar stronghold and even the childhood home of King James I of Aragon, who was trained here by the Templars. Walking through the ancient dormitories, chapel, and towers really gives you a sense of how powerful and mysterious this place must have been in its prime. We spent a couple of hours exploring and could’ve stayed even longer. The interpretive center is very informative, and the atmosphere is unique—especially for anyone interested in medieval history, castles, or the legend of the Templars. Highly recommended, especially if you can visit during the annual Homenaje Templario festival. A hidden gem in Aragón that truly brings history to life.

Bodega Sommos

Winery
Food & Drink
Bodega Sommos is a top-notch winery known for its modern and innovative approach. Visitors can enjoy a comprehensive tour of the facility, including a video presentation about the winery and a 3-wine tasting experience led by knowledgeable guides. The staff at the shop are attentive and offer helpful recommendations, allowing guests to sample wines before making a purchase. The winery's industrial and automated setup sets it apart, offering a unique concept in wine production.
This place was amazing. If you can, try to book something with Pablo, what great customer service and knowledgeable about the winery. I wish we were staying longer in the region. I would 150% go back. Side note the winery is beautiful as well!
Jay P — Google review
Restaurant has a great potential but unfortunately it is not there yet. We ordered a tasting menu and all the plates were well served. It starts with a delicious hummus along with some mussels and salmon. It follows with mediocre arroz con calamar which was also fine. But the rest was disappointing. Salmon was not tasty and the sauce couldnt save it. It continued with lamb shoulder which was bland and also weird in a seafood heavy tasting menu. In general tasting menu didn’t have harmony which makes you to switch from white wine to red in the middle. Desserts were also nothing special. Wine could have tasted better if the menu was considered part of it. Wineyard is huge and the ambience is really good. Staff was really pleasant and friendly. They can make the experience much better if they reconsider their menu as a whole.
Yasin T — Google review
A cool experience- My partner and I love wine and decided to visit the Sommos Winery! It’s on the top 10 list of the most modern and innovative wineries in the world and we wanted to check it out! The experience was great! We paid €10 each and got a tour of the space, a video speaking about their winery and a 3-wine tasting (total of 90 minutes). Our tour guide (Lidia) was amazing and so charismatic! She made this experience a wonderful one! Have to say, was a bit disappointed with the wine. I was expecting a phenomenal wine however I wasn’t impressed with any of the 3 we tasted. Were hoping to take a bottle home but didn’t, in the end. Would still recommend the experience for wine enthusiasts!
L Z — Google review
Driving through Spain we discovered this very beautiful building of Sommos. Impresive building. Wine tour was full so no possibiliity to visit. We bought some bottles.
Peter M — Google review
The girl at the shop was really super attentive and helpful. You can try the wines before buying, and they seem to know what they talk about, which is not always the case. The domain itself looks really nice. And they were opened on the 1st of November when all the others were closed.
Olivier ( — Google review
We were able to stop in without a reservation and do “tasting”/ order glasses of wine to try. We loved the Sauvignon and Tempranillo, and our sommelier was very knowledgeable about wine, the surrounding area, and Spain. Thanks for having us!
Sarah H — Google review
Excellent visit. Very attentive english speaking guide, generously served various samples in addition to the offer of 4 wine tasting for 10 eur as our conversation about their wines evolved. Tasted mostly whites, excellent Sauv. Blanc in particular, but also interesting Grenache Blanc, Chardonnay. Great Cab. Sauv. as well. The vinification happens 27 meters underground and grape pressing is non mechanical. Great mix of evolving tradition and respecting the culture.
Jens J — Google review
Very interesting and worth the visit. One of the most industrial and automated bodegas in Spain. Different concept but worth while.

Torreciudad

Mentioned on
4 lists
Shrine
Sights & Landmarks
Torreciudad is a Marian shrine located just 24 kilometers from Barbastro, built by Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer, the founder of Opus Dei. The sanctuary and surrounding buildings were designed by architect Heliodoro Dols, featuring traditional Aragonese brick construction. Inside the church, visitors can admire an eleventh-century Romanesque wooden sculpture of the Virgin Mary and a stunning alabaster altarpiece crafted by sculptor Joan Mayne.
I've been to many sites of pilgrimage, and each one has their own value and beauty, but the beauty of the landscape surrounding Torreciudad and the elegance and simplicity of the structure of the shrine itself (keeping to circular and angular forms, all with a consistent brick-brown shade), not to mention the discrete yet intimate carvings of the scenes of the life of Jesus, Mary and Joseph in the retablo, helps one to recollect in prayer. Everything there invites one to pray and to draw close to the humanity of Christ.
Olivia G — Google review
Impressive Shrine. Beautiful interiors and layout. Check out times of things on their website, because it's lovely to join some of the ceremonies.
Catherine M — Google review
So many things to see, so many things to learn. 🤩 Beautiful architecture, very kind and professional staff. And the altarpiece with such a rich and detailed story behind it. 👏🏻👏🏻

Candido A — Google review
Good place to stop with nice views over the dam. Lots of space to park your car, camper van, bus for free. Lots of picnic desks to enjoy a lunch on the journey to the Pyrenees. Avoid visiting the place during lunch time, it will be closed.
Feliu B — Google review
Wonderful house of prayer!
Lydia N — Google review
This is an unusual and intriguing place to visit. It is a religious complex set in the hills surrounded by lakes. Visitors are asked to be sensitive to the setting and dress accordingly. It is an imposing red brick construction which can be admired for the architecture. There is a visitors centre with toilets, souvenir shop and drinks available as well as a large car park. It is close to walking routes and the hill had kilometer markers for cyclists who enjoy the challenge of the climb.

Castell de Montsonís

Mentioned on
1 list
Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the upper part of Lleida, Castell de Montsonís is a historic castle with a circular tower that once safeguarded Muslim territories. It underwent significant renovations in the 16th century and provided refuge for pilgrims on the Way of Saint James. The castle, still inhabited by descendants of its founders since 1209 AD, offers an authentic glimpse into medieval life.
We called ahead and booked as this is a private castle. Impressive 1000 year history, family tree going back to 11th century. We visited 4 levels, including main halls, kitchen, prison, wine cellar, roof tower, soldiers quarters. The guide J'aime was amazing !
Odysseas P — Google review
Entertaining interpretation of an inhabited castle; a tiny bit too long. Grab a bite before the visit because dinner will be late. Food wasn’t exceptional but it wraps the experience so it’s ok.
Dulce O — Google review
Beautifully maintained castle and charming medieval village with two lovely restaurants. Spend the day … or even rent one of the cozy apartments available for the weekend .
Juan M — Google review
We didn't actually go into the castle but out on a Sunday drive we came across this village. It's really quaint and although it was night time it offers great views of the surrounding area. The village is used to having visitors and has a gift shop and cafe. It is part of a circular route which goes through a mini gorge along the river Segre. A great place for walking or cycling.
Tamzin V — Google review
We did not go in the castle. We did walk around, and there was also a cute little place to eat and grab a coffee (the place was pet friendly).
David M — Google review
Look out for opening times !!! It's great place to visit
Hordur N — Google review
You do not get anything more authentic than this castle. The hiers of the founders still live here (1209 AD) and they have kept most of the visitable rooms similar as they were in the middle ages. Do not expect spectacular rooms or a trustworthy museum, this visit is about a contemporary noble family castle. The staff is friendly but somehow unorthodox, very charming in my humble opinion.
Isaac B — Google review

Very friendly, kind and positive staff (both instructors and the office!) Everything was easy, from first contact to execution. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!
Laia N — Google review
At Entrenuvols, our two teenage sons had their first parasailing adventure. It was a wonderful experience. From start (making reservations) to finish (finding an alternate location to launch the flight), we were well looked after by the Entrenuvols staff and pilots. It was quite obvious that the staff of Entrenuvols were very knowledgeable and passionate about parasailing. Because we couldn't reserve via the website, the company responded promptly to emails (in English) and allowed us to make reservations without a deposit. The planned launch site didn't offer good flight conditions on that day so the company drove our entire family to a 2nd (even more beautiful) launch site an hour away (what an adventure!), so that the boys could have their flight. Wonderful people at Entrenuvols who know their business, are concerned about safety and treated our family like guests. Tip: Opt for the photos of the flight - they are delivered to you at the end of the flight on a USB key and are completely worth the small additional charge.

A huge thank you to the team for making it so special! I had to make a long trip to make it happen, but it was totally worth it. Definitely an experience worth repeating. I highly recommend it to anyone; don't miss it! (Original) Una experiencia increíble de principio a fin. Congost de Mont-Rebei is a stunning 600-hectare reserve located in Lleida, on the border of Catalonia and Aragon. The area features dramatic cliffs, oak forests, and turquoise waters that amaze visitors. A narrow path carved into the edge of one cliff offers breathtaking views but can be both scary and delightful to traverse. The Noguera Ribagorzana river runs through the canyon, creating a natural border between Aragon and Catalonia.
Beautiful trail, very well maintained. Security ropes in dangerous places and cozy benches for enjoying view and resting. First part from official parking quite easy, until small path near rocks/water past 1st bridge. Afterwards to reach 2nd bridge it is more technical climb, for people who do sports regularly. Views are incredible. We started early, just after 9am, when almost no people. That is the best time. Bring enough water.
Baiba M — Google review
Great place to kayak or hike, but sign to park isn't clear, so ensure you have good directions or dependable cell service. Also be aware that kayak start points can vary as far as an hour away and parking ticket required separate from kayak reservation, but we were able to buy at the gate.
Kevin — Google review
Beautiful place even if the water level is very low. You pay only for parking which is great. We took the blue path alongside the gorge and it was one of the most beautiful places i've been to. The path isn't really wide and about half of the path is a little dangerous but it's definitely worth it.
Miroslav Š — Google review
What a beautiful place! There is a very zig-zag route to go up there by car, but besides that, as soon as you get there, you are mesmerised. Make sure to bring your own food and drinks, and take your waste home. There is a small store there, with very friendly staff, but there are not many food/drinks options. Important to note: there are no toilets or water fountains on the walk, make sure to bring enough with you as it can get very hot there. There are no tickets need to get in, but there is a car park ticket that is 8 euros in advance, or 10 euros at the door.
We B — Google review
Really gorgeous but make sure you allow enough time to go the whole way (3 hours of walking). We only had 1 hour, are fast walkers, and only got to the beginning of the gorge Still beautiful but would love to have seen more Book the car park ahead (at least before midnight night before) to make sure you get a space in peak season. €8 online or €10 on the day
Jacinta H — Google review
Pretty amazing. In spite of the ‘pretty scary’ video’s and the pre-hike nightmares, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience (at the age of 70 - I mention because it’s not just for the young daredevils as one would think). Unfortunately, the rain was torrential during our drive from Barcelona & didn’t quit until 2pm - and so we didn’t complete as much of the hike as we would have wished (an extra day would have been wise).
Geoff L — Google review
A gorgeous wonder of nature, totally worth the effort!

Unforgettable White Water Rafting Experience! My wife and I went white water rafting with Kayak Campo in mid-June, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish, the service was top-notch communication was clear and helpful both before and during the trip, and the pricing was very fair for the quality provided. A huge shoutout to our amazing guide Ezequiel, our cameraman and second guide Franco, and our driver Alue, they made the entire adventure feel safe, exciting, and fun from beginning to end. EN - One of the best crew ever seen just to practice rafting, kayaking, etc. They have the best material to workout, besides they are so nice. They enjoy working and transfer that feeling to the people are next to them. They know pretty well what they have to do when the river goes up, or you with you while crew fall down to the water. Ibón de Plan is a breathtaking high-altitude lake nestled amidst towering stone massifs and lush pine forests, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers. Accessible via a scenic hiking trail, the journey to this stunning spot offers an array of picturesque views. The hike can be completed in about 45 minutes with minimal elevation gain, making it suitable for most adventurers. Depending on the season, the water levels in the lake may vary as they are sourced from underground springs.
Easy 45 min hike with almost no elevation gain. Great views is a plus. Be aware that you have to pay 3 EUR to use the road to go up the mountain by car from where you can start the hike.
Yelizaveta S — Google review
It lies at an elevation of 1,910 metres (6,270 ft) and has been described as a "conifer-flecked cirque".
Ngo A — Google review
It is complicated to get there. You have to go to the village of Saravillo. There, after passing the buildings there is an automatic machine to buy a permit. Next step is to take a dust road full of rocks for 14km until Refugio de Lavasar. Then half an hour walk from there. Absolutely no phone coverage. Stay away unless you are driving a 4x4 SUV and with other people.
Dario M — Google review
(Translated by Google) A very beautiful place. Entry fee is 5 euros. Be prepared to drive more than an hour on a dirt road to the mountains. But it's worth it. From the parking lot to the lake it's a 25-minute walk. The trail is not difficult. In some places on pebbles, in some places flat valleys. We walked with small children. There are also many stunning views along the road. Well, and the lake among the mountains is very beautiful :) (Original)

(Translated by Google) We did the route that starts from Saravillo, walking in total, round trip to the Ibón, about 19 km, with a difference in altitude of 1000 meters. The last meters were difficult but the views when you get there are spectacular, although it was August and everyone said there was little water... even so, I found it very beautiful.

(Translated by Google) The walk is worth it! It's a fairly well-maintained track; there's a €5 entrance fee. There are a few potholes, but with patience, you'll reach the refuge. From the refuge to Ibón de Plan is about 20 minutes. At first, the path is a little tricky due to rocks and tree roots, but it gets easier later on, and you can enjoy some beautiful views. The lake wasn't very crowded in November, but the tranquility of the landscape makes it worth the trip anyway.

(Translated by Google) From Saravillo, you have to pay €5 to drive up the track. It takes 40 minutes or more to climb the winding, rocky terrain. It gets a bit tiring. Halfway up, there's a beautiful viewpoint, worth stopping to see. Once at the top, there's a kind of parking lot. There are several trails in the area, including ones to see fir trees. Once you reach the parking lot, you see the refuge and turn right; it's signposted there. Go down along some rocks and then follow the path. It's about 20 minutes. You have to cross a small river. Then you reach a beautiful valley between mountains, and a five-minute walk will take you to the lake.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Erill la Vall, Santa Eulàlia d'Erill la Vall stands as a testament to the region's rich history and artistic heritage. This charming Romanesque church is distinguished by its striking bell tower and unique exterior arched porch, making it a must-see for visitors exploring the Vall de Boi.
An atmospheric church once one ventures beyond the pay counter. Interesting relics and the tallest of all the church bell towers in the valley. Well, worth a visit.

It was closed, so we were only able to see it from the outside. Unlike all the other chuches in Vall de Boí, the schedule of this church was not published anywhere and it doesn't say in the church either.

The Church of Sant Climent de Taüll is a Roman Catholic church located on the outskirts of Taull, dating back to the 12th century. It features elegant and simple architectural lines along with a six-storey bell tower that visitors can climb. The church houses significant Romanesque art, including a copy of a famous 1123 mural depicting a Pantocrator in rich Mozarabic-influenced colors.
A must visit if you are in the Boi Valley, st Climent remains as the main reference of the Romanic churches of this area. Free parking areas just outside, it can be visited for free on the outside and you'll need a ticket to enter.

Sant Climent is a really beautiful church and the staff there are wonderful. If you don't speak catalan or Spanish there are other people that speak French and English! Only problem is that you can't just go in when you're ant as there are screenings and tours done in catalan.

Definitely worth the entry price to see the spectacular video projection. You'll get to observe how the walls of the church looked when they were originally painted. I'd also strongly recommend coming at a time when a guided tour is available. The information they give is fascinating.

I have tried La Rafting Company for various adventure activities, including rafting. The guides were both entertaining and professional, ensuring that each experience was incredible. I highly recommend this company for its exceptional service and enjoyable adventures. Reservations are necessary in advance for the two-hour, 18 km rafting trip which is led by an amazing team. Alex, one of the guides, made the experience even more memorable with his humor and expertise. The session with Edu was also dynamic and exciting.
Another amazing review and well deserved!!! Unfortunately I pulled my back the day before I was due to partake in rafting, kayaking and canyoning! Dolca and the team were so accommodating to change the schedule around! My family had an absolutely brilliant time, made me incredibly jealous. The guides were so professional, warm, fun and skilled. Can not recommend this company highly enough!! Thank you for such great memories!!

Was a super experience! All staff are very friendly and helpful. We had to make a change after booking and within a day we had a response by email with a suitable solution. Once we arrived on the day of the rafting tour, we were received super enthusiastically. Soon we got the briefing and wetsuits and were ready to go. In the boat, we had Edward as our instructor and he did a great job. Along the way, he had some assignments for us and sought out some excitement. We had a very fun and exciting morning.

We went their on a Saturday afternoon and honestly I was really happy to have done this experience. The hosts/guides were extremely attentive and kind!! If I come back, I know who I'll go too! It was one of my favourite experience ever and purely because of the staff that accommodate your needs. Some can speak Spanish, Catalan, French and English! Have fun because I recommend to EVERYONE 100%. Also, a huge thank you to the two guides we got: Mike and Matheo.

We had such good fun rafting yesterday and were very lucky with our guide. Mike (Miquel) is a super nice guy, who brought enthusiasm and jokes from the get-go. His English is very good and occasionally we translated some more intricate pieces with some of our Spanish speakers. The route is beautiful and varied, with a mix of rapids, quieter stretches and even rocks and bridges to jump off along the way. It's a very fun day out and we'd certainly do it again if we're back in the area! Merci Mike! ;)

We did rafting with Eddie and canyoning with Rahul and both were beyond our wildest expectations with a lot of good laughs. Our 10 years old boy solely enjoyed both experiences and could not get enough of them! Thanks to Silvia’s impeccable coordination support, we were also able to enjoy various other very memorable activities (e.g. hiking in the incredibly beautiful Aiguestortes & Lake Sant Maurice National Park, eBike in the mountains of Parc Natural de I’Alt Pirineu, and locally produced goat cheese tasting and astronomy night in Valencia d’Aneu, etc.). Pepo and his people were all highly knowledgable and professional, who seem to care deeply about this beautiful mountain region of Spain, which I think made our trip extra special. Thank you very very much again!! PS. After a great adventure with La Rafting Company, I highly recommend to chill and relax by enjoying really tasty ice lorries, local beers and some nibbles at La Rafting Social Bar at the back of the LA Rafting company!

I highly recommend rafting Catalunya for your rafting trip. We were two families with kids and Malena made sure that it was extra special for the little ones. They are still talking about it days later! The trip took about three hours total, with beautiful views and sights pointed out to us and all important safety information shared. We would definitely do this again. A proper highlight!

We had an amazing experience with Rafting Catalunya! Our group of 14 – 7 kids and 7 adults, many of us from different parts of the world – was lucky to be guided by the fantastic Ferry and Malina. They were exceptional guides who made the entire trip fun, safe, and full of laughter. They took the time to show us the beautiful sights and sounds along the river, and ensured that everyone – from the youngest to the oldest – felt included and engaged throughout the adventure. The rafting itself was an absolute blast, and it was clear how much effort the whole team put into making everything run smoothly. A huge thank you to Malina and Ferry for being such fun, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic guides, and to the rest of the team behind the scenes for their hard work and flawless organization. Highly recommended!

Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park is Catalonia's only national park, boasting miles of mountain ranges, rivers, and over 200 glacial lakes. The park features a picturesque alpine valley with the meandering Aiguestortes river and stunning Estany Dellui glacier lakes. Visitors can embark on steep but shady walks through pine woods, spot marmots, and traverse scree slopes with boulders.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited! The breathtaking views, the magical sound of ice singing on the frozen lake, half-frozen waterfalls, and the enchanting snow make it truly unforgettable. We took a special 4x4 taxi from Espot, and in just 15 minutes, we were right next to the stunning lake of Sant Maurici. Highly recommend this experience!

Absolutely stunning and so refreshing during the heat wave! The taxi system is well organized, and even during high season, it wasn’t too crowded. Aigüestortes is a beautiful high mountain National Park in Catalonia. Dotted with lakes, pinewoods and mountain pastures, craggy peaks, waterfalls, mountain streams; there's always a photo to take and a view to enjoy. Nature enthusiasts may enthuse about the Pyrenean Chamois, Alpine Marmot, Red Squirrel, orchids, butterflies and wild flowers, especially in late spring and early summer. When I visit nowadays it's usually leading a birding group on a Birding In Spain tour. Over the years I've seen most of the birds of the high mountains that are supposed to be here, although some of them can be quite challenging to set eyes on, and I still haven't seen a Rock Ptarmigan. Western Capercaillie are declining but still present; Black Woodpeckers are pretty thin on the ground although I have seen them in two general areas within the park; for Alpine Accentors and Wallcreepers you have to get higher than we usually go on our tours. Even if you don't see those more difficult birds, you still have a good chance with a pretty good selection of mountain birds such as Bearded Vulture, Common Rock Thrush, Ring Ouzel, Alpine Chough, Citril Finch, Crossbill, Water Pipit, White-throated Dipper, Red-backed Shrike, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Egyptian Vulture, Booted Eagle, and others. If you're not one for trekking you have the option of taking one of the 4-wheel taxis which operate from Espot into the park. In Espot itself there is a good selection of hotels and restaurants, plus shops and a National Park visitor centre.
Steve W — Google review
The park is really magnificent with plenty of great views. There are several options for day hikes. In order to reach some of the hikes you need to use a designated taxi service (from Espot), which can be quite expensive.

Nestled in the picturesque Louron valley, Balnéa Spa offers a serene escape in the heart of the Pyrenees. The spa is set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains and an artificial lake, creating a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation. Visitors can explore various pools inspired by cultures from around the world, including Roman, Japanese, Inca, and Amerindian designs.
The thermal baths were great! I’ve been to quite a few thermal baths in Europe and this was one of the most enjoyable ones. Very easy to get a ticket from the machines and had multiple languages. No queue to get in and changing rooms were quite empty on a Thursday afternoon in July. There was lots of different pool with all sorts of jets and waterfalls. Loved how there are so many little hidden features like the musical pool and little Roman baths. The water felt very clean and therapeutic. My favourite part was the mineral pools. Two hours is not enough to explore all the pools as there is so much to do!
Rachael — Google review
Not the friendliest/patience for English speakers. Outdoor hot baths are a lovely experience but 2 hours is over far too quick when you include time to get changed, showered etc. 3 hours would feel more of a reasonable duration.

Very “tired” building. A lot of facilities didn’t work, the interior looks like you are in the middle of the construction work. They need to repair everything. Stuff was unexpectedly rude. The nature outside is great.

Although we live 75kms from Loudenvielle, we used to love a weekly visit to Balnea. We used to love the pampering - white towels and Prija shower gel included in the service - Japanese baths heated to 40°C - peaceful silence throughout. Gone now are these little things that made our visits so relaxing and worth while. Gone are the white towels included in the entry price. Gone too is the shower gel and the obligation to shower before getting into the baths. Gone is our favourite feature - the Japanese bath at 40°C (now heated to a mere 36°C). We gave Balnea one last visit recently - the chatter and noise everywhere except the saunas was overwhelming; the place was crowded and felt like a public municipal pool facility. A hot shower at home is more therapeutic than the Japanese baths at 36°C. I guess good things never last. Farewell Balnea!
JJ S — Google review
Amazing lunch and lovely spa. Many different themed rooms with varying types of pool/ sauna. Enjoyed the choices, some pools hotter than others. Outside pools have views of the surrounding mountains. Well worth a visit.
Suzanne B — Google review
Wonderful thermal bath with a great idea - you can travel to Japan or Peru or relax in the Roman baths. The thermal water is great - but some restrictions: Unfortunately, long line in front of the entrance - on a Tuesday outside of the holiday season at 2.45 p.m. The changing rooms are really bad, you don't feel well. You are not allowed to wear flip-flops or take a towel with you into the sauna - that means everyone is sweating on the wood and you have to sit in the sweat of others. The very dark shower room is a major disaster, much too small and not discreet. You can't really take a shower naked and clean yourself before and after the thermal bath, that urgently needs to be changed. Please.
Jens J — Google review
Probably the strangest spa I ever visited… and I did visit many, in multiple countries. There are no deck chairs AT ALL. Not even a single bench or chair to sit on. One can be either in the pool or stand somewhere. Staff asks you to leave EVERYTHING in the locker, including towel, book… or whatever else you might need… NOT a place to relax at all. Money wasted.
Alen L — Google review
The shower was cold, pools outside were cold, pools inside were cold. Sauna was warm. People were shivering walking between pools. They said "it's only 3 degrees cooler in the hot pool" and wouldn't find is any kind of refund. AND you've got to wear speedos. 1/10 would not recommend

A tiny lake is surrounded by an asphalt walking path suitable for bicycles, about 2.7 km long. The water in the lake is very cold and looks clean and full of water plants. All around we found fast food places, ice creams, boats for rent and inflatables in the water for children, on the shore of the lake in front of the attractions, a lot of noise... make your decision where to sit. Behind the boat rental business are convenient and relatively clean public toilets. There is plenty of parking around Lake -the parking spaces are marked "private parking" even those on the main road. Many park there without considering the signage.

The site offers an immersive experience with friendly staff who provide insightful information about its history and astronomy. Visitors can enjoy a cable car ride for stunning views and explore the bistro for a delightful culinary experience.
Hiked up to pic du midi late June. The hike is all the time with wonderful scenery and open views of mountains peaks. Near the lake I met a group of friendly Lama.

A mountain peak with observatory, restaurant & amazing views... if the sky is clear! When we visited there were a few interesting exhibits, with a photo history of the peak and a sun-tracking telescope where one could see flares. We booked the first cable car of the day so found it nice and quiet. Cost is hard to justify but if you like views and are in the area it's the place to be.
Robin R — Google review
Although very “ touristic” I deeply recommend it. Be careful: it is an experience that takes at least 3-4 hours , including the line to the cable car up and down. At the pic , a cafe that is very expensive, so bring your own coffee and food… Also the area that the guests can walk through is very limited to 2 angles, you cannot look at views 360 degrees around which was very disappointing …
Eli K — Google review
we first became aware of this through a television programme and decided that we had to do it. we wanted to book and overnight visit as we felt that this would give us the best experience. so in August 2023 we booked for July 2025, yes the wait is that long. when the time finally arrived needless to say we were very excited. We arrived at the cable car and were transported to the observatory, we were greeted and had to wait for someone who could speak some English as although we can speak fluent Spanish our French is not so good. we were given directions to our room and then told that we needed to be at a certain point for the welcome meeting. Our room was basic but clean and comfortable. we were not expecting luxury as we are aware that this is a working observatory, but the bed was super comfortable and the views from the windows we breathtaking. we arrived at the welcoming meeting to discover that all of the planned activities would only be conducted in French, we asked if there was any information available for non French speakers only to be told no. Whilst the staff did everything that they could to help and make our stay the best that they could, they struggled to communicate with us. This basically meant that 98% of the planned activities were simply not accessible to us. We missed the planned tour of the facilities as this was only in French so there was not point in us attending this. Dinner was really very good and the food and drink were exceptional. The sunset was spectacular followed by a short film, which did have an English translation, however the following planetarium activity was again only available in French. The night time stars were lovely and although we did get to look through a large telescope the explanations and information meant nothing to us as once again it was only in French. We did have a great time, but for the cost that we paid, to have 98% of the activities simply not available to us it was disappointing. This is a service that attracts and international clientele, to assume that everyone who attends will be able to speak fluent French is completely unrealistic. Not to have written information or audio guides available is simply lazy or arrogant. So my warning would be that yes the experience was amazing it was somewhat ruined by the fact that we were completely excluded from the majority of the planned experiences that were available. if you do not speak fluent French then maybe you should reconsider booking an overnight stay.
Andrew M — Google review
We skipped all the touristic attractions like the cafe and the cable car and came here by foot. Starting from Col du Tourmalet you'll have to cover 14,4 km (round-trip) and 740 m of altitude to reach the mountaintop. Most of the path is a wide road, pretty easy to walk on. However, the topmost part is more difficult, narrow, stony and slippery. I would recommend the path only to trained people with sure-footedness and mountain-experience and without vertigo. In any case, don't forget to bring good shoes, sunscreen, food and a sufficient(!!) amount of water. It is a beautiful hike amidst rocks, sheep, lakes, ruins, mountain-flowers and lizzards. You also have a chance to glimpse griffon vultures at close range. The summit itself is beautiful and scenic, looking down on the mountain ranges and snowy tops of the Pyrenees.
S W — Google review
Beautiful experience on a sunny day. A petty that we can’t see anymore eternal snow with the global warming. A must to do.
Christophe D — Google review
Appalling tourist trap. If you can hike up, sure, that's the way to see this mountain, but paying €160 to be packed like sardines into the telecabine, then restricted to a terrace without access to the mountain itself, was lousy. The restaurant was over €50 each (for a burger), maybe it was nice but we didn't splash. The bistro had coffee & cakes. The planetarium show at €6 each, was just dire - a 20 minute reenactment of early days at the observatory, followed by the most basic explanation of Hydrogen forming stars, without any use of astronomical images.
Morris E — Google review
Great experience - and a must-go in the Pyrenees. The cable car ride is a great adventure in itself - and the view from the platform is awesome! The bistro is a particularly great experience - very nice service and a large selection.

We had fun visiting this park. It is also very clean compared to other animal park. Friendly staff, they're always around when you have question about the animals. Also the view is amazing!!! Highly recommended 👌

Value for money - too expensive! This park should cost 10€ max for adult. It is a nice walk in the nature with the specific animals. 2/5 mainly because of the price. For 10€ I would give it 4/5, not more.
Ilana I — Google review
I came specifically to see the bears and the pine marten. At the start of the park, the animals looked well and had good spaces. When I saw the bears, I was very sad..they had quite a small space to their size, and they seemed distressed. They were pacing back and forth constantly, it just seemed they were unhappy. Maybe I am wrong, and they were doing their morning exercises! It was the same with the pine marten, I only saw one and again it was going back and forth with no purpose, didn't appear relaxed and comfortable at all. The other animals were in pairs/groups and appeared well and content in their spaces.

Lovely animal park in the middle of the forest, almost every kind of animal had young ones which gives me the feeling all in all they are in good shape. Very natural feel to it. Mind you that most of the park is shaded in the morning so bring warm clothes, in September it was already chilly.
Lee E — Google review
We loved this park, loads of animals which are running "freely" around you so you can get very close to them. Nicely managed and very relaxing environment. There is a little caffee stand with WC near the end of the circle. Be prepared for a few steep walks during the visit tho.

Nestled in the stunning mountain range, Baqueira-Beret is a world-class ski resort that offers an unforgettable experience for winter sports enthusiasts. Situated in Val d'Aran, this fabulous destination boasts top-notch facilities and breathtaking slopes. The resort's proximity to parador hotels like Arties and Vielha adds to its allure, providing convenient accommodation options for visitors.
We loved skiing Baqueira. We had great lessons through the ski school on the mountain. The views are incredible. Cafeteria 2200 was a great place to stop. The routes were great for my young son and for me. I hope to return.

This is a nice ski resort. In fact, the largest ski resort in Spain. Easily accessible by car. The whole area is very nice. 2h away by car from Toulouse and 3.5h by car from Barcelona. Plenty of slopes. Only 1 green slope so not quite good for beginners. Children area isn’t bad. Food and drinks on the slope are good and not expensive. Very large underground parking is available right under the gondola lift. 15 euro for the whole day. Daily ski pass cost 70 euro. (Winter season 2024/25) 160km slopes in total. Friendly staff all around.

What an incredible place to ski, amazing slopes with every level slopes from beginners to advanced and expert skiers. The Baqueira Beret slope system is not only in perfect conditions, but also very well supervised and taken care of. There are 4 main mountains to ski, 90 slopes and there is enough to not do one slope twice. They have a lot of artificial snow makers that give you a great ski experience even days away from the last snow fall. The views are great, ski pass prices are around 70€ per day and come with an insurance in case of accident. Rescue patrols are always on the lookout. There are numerous number of ski and Snowboard schools if you’d like to take private of group classes, prices starting from 75/h. If you are looking to rent, Intersports or La Rider are great places to get good quality equipment. Amazing ski location! Don’t forget to go to the Aprés Ski at the Moet & Chandon bar (in Beret) or at the 1500 bar (at the base of Baqueira)

Great Resort in general! Just sometimes have to drive to other parkings higher up because of the amount of people, and in the morning hours you can get stuck in traffic. The resort is huge so you will always find some slopes with few people even when you would think that it'll be crowded
Vincent S — Google review
Baquiera Beret is like Europe's hidden gem of a ski resort. Compared to their more pricey and popular resorts further north, Baquiera is shockingly very good in both absolute and relative terms. Even in relatively late season, we experienced snowfall literally every day we were there, pretty much guaranteeing amazing snow and powder experience - this compounded by the fact that the resort is relatively free of large crowds (especially in neighbouring mountains Beret and Bonaigua) and you get some of the most pristine and pleasant pistes in the world. Infrastructure is excellent with a combination of cable cars and chairlifts that allow you to easily explore the extensive and diverse of pistes of Baquiera; not to mention the accessibility of restaurants, bars and cafes spread out across the resort should you need a quick refreshment or a leisurely meal overlooking the stunning landscape. The resort boasts a variety of pistes for all skill levels and stamina, offering scenic long runs and technical but still very enjoyable runs in the blacks. I love that many of the trails effortlessly converge and diverge from each other so that you can have the option to move from challenging to easier pistes effortlessly making meeting up with friends regardless of skill level a relatively easy affair. While English is not widely used and minimally understood (except for the more central services of the resort), we rarely faced problems communicating our needs and people were patient and generally happy to help you. Even a little knowledge in Spanish (or even better, Catalan) will go a long way in getting you around enough to enjoy your time there. Will it still retain its charm in the coming years as more people discover this understated resort? It's hard to say, but it's definitely become one of my favourites!
Gabriel T — Google review
Nice experience. Not so crowded for the big holiday (6-9 Dec) in Spain. The slopes are wide, well kept and the lifts are nice, for could be better and then, on the downside, very little life in town, there’s only one “club” Tiffany’s and it was a pain to find good restaurants that weren’t absolutely crowded.
Andrés C — Google review
Great resort. Quieter than most and plenty for all standards of skier.
Steve R — Google review
Very nice ski center, quite big and with some very runs. We spent 5 sunny days skiing in late February. Most of the lifts are modern and fast. The ski center was quite crowded but the queues were moving fast. Lots of parking available, we found the ones up in Beret and Orri the most convenient. What was annoying were the traffic to get to the ski center and to leave from it. Especially during Sunday it took us almost 2 hours to return to our hotel in Vielha which was just 15 km away! All in all, it is highly recommended.

Starting at 6:00 PM, tables were set up in the square selling savory and sweet tarts in various flavors (€3) and beers (€2.50), among other drinks. A folk group performed, dancing and singing in the Occitan tradition. Around 10:20 PM, the church bells rang, and the bonfire lighting ceremony began! When the ceremony ended, some very discreet firecrackers were set off; our dog didn't even notice them (we came here to escape the firecrackers in Catalonia), since they couldn't be heard much from the apartments in Terres de France. Foix Castle, located in the small city of Foix in the Ariege region, is a hilltop fortress with a rich history dating back to the 10th century. This former prison now houses a museum showcasing regional history. Situated amidst picturesque mountains and rivers, Foix serves as an ideal base for exploring the Pyrenees mountain range. The castle offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and provides interactive activities and workshops on medieval life, weaponry, and siege engineering.
Please like and follow. Foix Castle is an impressive monument dominating the city of Foix. You can see it from every angle. You can drive and park 5 minutes away from it, or you can ignore the pedestrian only road and park next to it. Ignore all the construction and into the new building which hosts the museum. This is where you buy access ticket It is a rough climbing pedestrian winding narrow road with an amazing view on the valley and the city below. You can see miles and miles away. The castle itself had a couple of towers and a court ( space outside) Dew rooms that can accommodate the leadership and soldiers and ob one tower you have a room for the load to sleep and bathe. You have to climb the narrow stairs in the tower to have the birds view of everything below. In the end, you can choose to walk back the windings pebble road or take the elevator to the museum. The museum hosts all the pictures, history, furnitures and arms used since the establishment of Foix thousand years ago. Highly recommend

There's scaffolding up with works going on (it looks like wheelchair access works). So on arrival, we weren't sure if it was open, but it is !! We followed signs in the town centre for the castle-Parking, only to find ourselves going round in a circle 3 times !!! Luckily it's Easter Mon and not very busy, so we found a spot for the camper in the middle of the two main town roads. €12.50 each entry. Great castle, lots of steps once at the top. There's a long stone ramp up/down, or a lift - with several floors gor the museum. The castle itself has 'displays ' on throughout the day, blacksmith, stone mason, weapons, etc. Unfortunately very little information in English (but, of course, totally acceptable - we're in France !!!). It's a fair bit of walking - first up the the castle, and then once uo there. The towers are fabulous, but cares needed as people are going to pass up/down on spiral staircases. Loads to see in the museum - excellent value. Gift shop, toilets (no cafe). Hero exhibition upstairs is very interesting.

Great castle. Now . It is a steep old climb and your legs will be sore but it is well worth it. Going up the tower is a bit scary but well worth the view. There is so much to do here you would need a whole day to get it all done.
Tom B — Google review
Perfect for stepping into a previous time in history and experiencing what life might have been like back when the castle was in its prime. It’s in amazing condition with different stalls and people explaining weapons, blacksmithing, stonework, and other interesting ideas. The demonstrations are all in French but you can ask questions in English if you want to further expand your knowledge. There’s a museum connected as well but we didn’t have time to explore that section. Give yourself ample time if you want to explore both the museum and the castle itself. A great place to bring kids or even as an adult if you enjoy history and medieval times. 🏰

Amazing day! Wish we had longer! We spent four hours with kids 4 and 5. They loved it! The guide at the armor and weapons stop was amazing!! We spent over an hour there. He even spoke pretty good English. Gift shop had good toys for the kids too.

This castle is definitely geared towards kids with weapons displays and artificial castle décor throughout. There isn’t a ton of high level historic information. The views are nice but there are a lot of steps / steep pathways. I guess I recommend coming in a cooler month than June 😎
Matthew G — Google review
Very well maintained medieval castle on top of a hill. It is quite a walk to get to the entrance and then an evening longer climb up cobblestones to the castle itself after the museum. The views however are breath taking. It was not as busy ai had feared it might be but it was baking hot so the climb to the top was tougher. 2 kids (13 & 9) and I managed the climb all the way to the top tower and the views were well worth the effort. This fitted in really well as a day trip along with the underground river at Labouiche.

Grotte du Mas d'Azil tunnel

Nature & Parks
Historical landmark
Many prehistoric cave painting & artifacts have been found in this cave carved by the Arize River.
We were on the way by car and just passed it. But it was so amazing that we returned to the parking spot, and repeated it on foot. On the parking spot is also a clean toilet.

The cave is a geological oddity with rivulets and roads cutting through it. You can walk around and see the surrounding area. To visit the museum(the cave), I recommend you make a reservation online in advance. Also, the ticket includes the other museums in the village. You can come and have a picnic. There are free parking spaces and one small restaurant next to the cave that you can get a drink/food before or after visit the cave.

One of the most iconic caves of South Western France. Huge, very well conserved, easy of access and open all year round. The entrance fee of 11€ for a guided tour is worth for discovering in depth archeological sites within the cave. I'd advise traveling across the cave by car - jaw dropping.

A huge cave going right through the hillside. Big enough for a road to use it as a tunnel alongside the river. There is a small car park at the end and then you can walk into the cave and towards the museum. The surrounding countryside is very pretty with lots of hiking available. Alas we didn’t have time so I can’t comment on the museum or the surroundings in detail. But the cave is cool!

Village Gaulois - Archeosite

Tours
Village Gaulois - Archeosite is a reconstructed Gaulish village with realistic constructions and various activities for both children and adults. The friendly welcome and the mobile application provide a guided experience throughout the discovery. Workshops such as tailoring in leather, copper, and coin-making keep children engaged while transporting them back to the times of the Gauls. The park offers knowledge through guided activities and independent exploration, making it an educational rather than an amusement park.
A recreation of a Gaulois village complete with reenactors demonstrating traditional crafts such as weaving and leather working. It feels very immersive. They’ve also got a restaurant so you can spend the afternoon there.

A real tourist trap, Very disappointing experience. We came here expecting an afternoon of activities for the kids and left after 2h. There were 3 activities that took about 5 minutes each, for the rest nothing interactive and just looking at unmotivated people who only speak french. For 90€ for 5 people, this is a real tourist trap (and yes, we have done similar parks in the past where the experience was way better) In short: Best to stay away

Parc zoologique de Plaisance du Touch

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Parc zoologique de Plaisance du Touch is a safari zoo featuring about 100 African species, including lions and elephants. Visitors can enjoy driving and walking routes, as well as three different types of shows: Tiger show, Bird show, and Water show. The park is divided into two parts - a 30-minute safari drive through with your own car and a 3.5-hour walking tour through the zoo.
We had a fantastic time at the African Safari zoo near Toulouse! It was truly a great experience and one of the best things we've done in the area. We spent about three hours there, and the kids absolutely loved it. What's really unique and a major highlight is the car safari—you can drive through the park and see the animals up close, and the best part is you can repeat the circuit as many times as you want! Even though it was a bit crowded and there were a lot of people, we still had excellent views and were able to see everything. It's an unforgettable day out, especially with family. Highly recommended!
Feras H — Google review
A bittersweet experience. While it was interesting to see so many animals up close, it was heartbreaking to witness a tiger vomiting and another in visible distress. It made me question the ethics of keeping these wild creatures in enclosures. Zoos may claim to focus on conservation and education, but nothing compares to seeing these animals in their natural habitat, where they truly belong. Places like Nairobi National Park offer the chance to observe wildlife freely roaming, creating a much more meaningful and respectful experience. While I enjoyed parts of the visit, it only reinforced my belief that animals should be in the wild, not behind bars.
Sherif E — Google review
Most important they have 3 types of shows 1.Tiger show 2. Bird show 3. Water show So check timings and visit accordingly to get most of it. It is not a very big but enough to spend half day with kids and family. Well maintained. There are 2 parts here : 1. Do safari (you can do with your own car) - approx time taken 30 minutes 2. Zoo part you do walking and take your time we took approx 3.5 hours including our lunch. You have restaurant there and nice sitting area if you carry your own food. Overall nice day out and I have seen so many new animals :)
Hina P — Google review
Relatively small zoo - you'll be here for a max of 3 hours. Very quiet mid week on opening which was nice. Enclosures feel small, particularly for the bigger animals. Good variety of animals.
Sam E — Google review
Nice zoo, not too big but enough to be entertained well for at least four hours. The park itself has lots of shade so it also good for warmer days. The enclosures are looking well designed and maintained en are pretty big in most cases. A definite recommendation in the region!
Jeroen B — Google review
Visiting the Zoo African Safari in Toulouse was an incredible experience! The zoo is beautifully maintained and offers a perfect balance between fun and education. The variety of animals is impressive – from lions and giraffes to zebras and rhinos – all living in spacious enclosures that respect their natural environment. I highly recommend the Zoo African Safari to anyone visiting Toulouse or nearby. It’s a fantastic outing for families, couples, or even solo travelers who want to enjoy nature, learn more about wildlife, and spend a memorable day outdoors.
Mais H — Google review
A little expensive in my opinion but was cool. The safari was great but as the temperature was pretty hot all the animals were packed under the trees and hard to see. You shall plan in advance how you want to visit the park as the two show are scheduled either in the morning 11am and 12pm or in the middle of the afternoon at 3pm meaning that you need to find what to do if you arrive at 11h30 am. There is a little park for the kid but the tube is completely exposed to the sun and in aluminium so unusable in short. The park is mostly designed for kids around 5 and higher. Positives points there's some sprinkling water point to relieve from the hot and most of the zoo is under the shadow of the trees 😉👌🏻
Grégory G — Google review
Wonderful place. There is small Safari as well. Zoo management can provide with an old car if you don't have for safari. The shows in zoo are also amazing. Depending on season there may be no shows. Overall good place to visit especially if you have kids.

This tour is made for those passionate about airplanes and Airbus. Most of the tour is inside a bus due to obvious reasons: safety. But for some minutes you’re invited to take a look on their work (in my case today, final details on A350). They’re building airplanes there, so it’s comprehensive why the distance and the safety protocols. Our tour guide Hugo it’s an extreme lovely guy who explained everything and tested our knowledge during the journey. Airbus is HUGE and there’s a lot of buildings there - some hangar with open doors that you can check what’s going on inside. And if you’re going with a group, please be respectful to the guide, the driver and the other visitors. Very uncomfortable to be on a super visit like these with annoying guests that doesn’t behave. Thanks Hugo and the bus driver (btw: he took a roundabout just to show us an Airbus Beluga that had landed minutes before haha) Last but not least: I strongly recommend the visit at Aeroscopia :)

If you are into aircrafts then this is amazing, the history that was presented, the tour of the factories and the final assembly line was really cool to see. Our tour guide was great and answered all the questions very helpfully. Make sure you book the tickets at least a week ahead.

A very good guided tour. You are brought by bus around the Airbus Factories and told about the history of airbus. You can’t take pictures at certain points of the tour but nonetheless a great tour. I would definitely recommend going into the museum which has an A380 and also an A300 that you can board and see from the inside.

We recently joined the Let’s Visit Airbus tour in Toulouse as part of a family trip, mainly for our son who is a big aviation enthusiast. While the experience had its highlights, there were also a few disappointments that affected the overall visit. ✅ Positives: Excellent Guide: The tour guide was friendly, very knowledgeable, and kept the group engaged with interesting facts and interactive questions throughout the visit. Definitely a highlight of the experience! Aviation Enthusiast Environment: It was great to be part of a group of fellow aviation fans. The enthusiasm and participation from the group added to the experience. Souvenir Discount: If you take part in any Let’s Visit Airbus tour, you get a 10% discount at the souvenir shop inside the Aeroscopia Museum. Fair Refund Policy: We had unknowingly booked two similar Airbus tours on different days. The team was understanding and refunded the cost of one, much appreciated. ⚠️ Improvements Needed: Factory Shutdown Not Communicated: Unfortunately, the visit took place during a factory shutdown, and we weren’t informed in advance. There were no workers or active assembly lines - we could only view stationary equipment from behind a glass cabin, which was disappointing. Uncomfortable Transport Conditions: The bus that took us from the museum to the factory had poor air conditioning - a real issue given it was around 40°C that day. One co-passenger even experienced dizziness and refused to return by bus. Thankfully, the team arranged a car for them. Limited Visual Experience: Without any live production happening, the tour felt more like viewing a display than visiting a working factory. If it had been a working day, we would have rated this 4 stars.

This was a very disappointing visit. I was told that we could see the plane's assembly lines. We did not see much as we were inside and enclosed room and the only plane was more than 100 meters away. It seems that the visit was changed as I had good comments from a friend. I tried to have a conversation with the front desk at the museum. Obviously the person who I spoke with did not care about it. He told me that the visit was going to be changed soon without more explanations. Unless there are changes I would not recommend this tour.

The visit is conducted in a bus and you get to see the Airbus factory from a distance, you don't get to take photos or pose for any photos, essentially you don't get to see much. But you get a guide for the group and the person who accompanied our English speaking group was amazing. He could answer all questions related to Airbus including engineering, material science and aircraft economics. I was really impressed by our guide. I would recommend the tour for the Airbus representative alone.

We visited the A350 Production Facility which we found very disappointing. Most of the tour was on a bus with a guide telling you about Airbus; no slides or videos were supplied to help your understanding. When we got to the production facility, she pointed at areas or planes that were over 1000 meters away. You could not really see anything. The only time we got off the bus was at the assembly building but same story, were too far away to see anything; it looked like videos were available but none were utilized. Would very strongly not waste your time with this tour.

The tour was a let-down. While the guide was friendly and well-informed, the tour itself was disappointing. You sit on the bus most of the time except for a short stop at a 350 construction site where you are not allowed to enter the site but watch the planes from a distance through glass windows on the second floor - during lunch-time (!) so the hall was empty! They charge you 24€ per ticket, which is a rip-off, to put it bluntly. If you do book the tour don’t take the one at11:15 am unless you’d like to see empty halls…

Musée Aeroscopia is a modern aeronautical museum located just a 25-minute drive from Toulouse, the largest center for aerospace in Europe. The museum offers interactive exhibitions and activities suitable for children, such as guided tours, storytelling sessions with Monsieur Pirouette Cacahuete, paper airplane workshops, kite-making, observation games, and more. Visitors can explore the aviation history of Toulouse through its extensive collection of aircraft including an Airbus A300B and Concorde.
This is France’s premier aviation museum, located in the Toulouse-Blagnac area, the heart of the European aerospace industry and home to the Airbus headquarters. Opened in 2015, the museum showcases the rich history of aviation through a collection of over 30 full-size aircraft, ranging from iconic commercial airliners to military planes and helicopters. Highlights include the Concorde, A300B, Super Guppy, and A380, with several models open for interior tours, offering visitors an immersive experience into aviation design and technology.

A fantastic museum with no less than two concords. One, a test rig and development plane, one of the very firsts of course was open to visits and was very much like the Embraer E195-E2 with 2+2 configuration I arrived on when you see to cabin space. But the entrance door on the Concord was way lower. So many objects of interests and then there is the outside that houses many more planes. There is a container way of the main building with free lockers for stuff you don’t want to carry around. Don’t forget them, I did and had to go back. There is a restaurant on the premises and next door there is a huge plane collection from a charity with an interest ion assortment of planes. Not open on my visit but you can se many of the planes from the outside.

Great experience, the exposition is just amazing, and the aircraft are quite well preserved. A must for any aviation enthusiast.

Amazing exhibition of aircraft, with a strong focus on some of Airbus' icons. The Concorde and A380 still being configured for test flights gives a unique insight compared to other aviation museums. A fantastic way to spend a couple of hours!

A very good airplane museum with a ton of well presented information. The coolest part was being able to walk inside the Concorde to learn about it and also the A380

Great experience! A chance to take a look at Concorde and Airbus 380 from the inside. Amazing. Wasn’t crowded at all on a weekday.
