I purchased a 3-Day Water Bus pass and it allowed me to enjoy the beautiful views, massive buildings, Rialto Bridge and exquisite architecture of all the other buildings along the waterway.

It was amazinggg, We loved it.We took the gondola and it was a great experience. We paid 90€ in total for three people. The price does not change depending on the number of people. It is the same whether there are five people. The 30 minute gondola ride is priced at 90€.Definitely take a walk around the back streets, this is essential to understand the spirit of Venice. And definitely eat at more local establishments, it's cheaper and more original.

Rialto was once the world’s trading floor, where goods from East and West were landed — and you sense that weight of history even now, slipping under its arch by night. A vaporetto ride is Venice’s greatest souvenir: not bought, but lived.

This bridge is really beautiful. It offers a nice view around, being quite high and is amazing both day and night. On the downside, it’s crazy crowded and you may need to wait your turn just to take a picture.

The combination of the gondolas gliding along the Grand Canal and the bridge’s elegant architecture creates one of the most breathtaking views in all of Venice. It truly feels magical. Fantastic views from either side of the bridge make this bridge well worth a visit. The earlier in the day you can manage the better as it is still crowded in the winter months. However the views are worthwhile and the photo opportunities are excellent.

Visited the Rialto Bridge while in Venice, very easy to get to and visible from different places and also from the water. Lots of shops on each side of the bridge, and lots of gift stalls at each end. A beautiful structure that is equally beautiful in daylight as it is after dark. A must see if in venice

It’s a bridge — but a very beautiful one! The Ponte di Rialto is a great spot to take pictures and enjoy views of the Grand Canal. It’s usually busy, but the atmosphere is amazing. Definitely worth a quick stop when exploring Venice.

Loved staying nearby this beautiful bridge. Definitely a highlight to see it at all times of day, with the shops, the joy of everyone else experiencing the iconic moment and even the tension of all the boats and ferries doing the everyday life and business in the canal around it. There is a great local grocery store just down the canal. We didn’t end up eating in any of the restaurants right there as we found wonderful trattoria away from the crowds. Loved finding new views of it and from it.

An amazing experience. The Rialto bridge is definitely a must-see bridge while in Venice. It gets busy during the day as all tourists know this is a must-visit destination. We came here in October 2025 and there was still a lot of visitors but it is at the end of the season. There are restaurants where you can sit and enjoy cocktails and people-watch. The waterways are very busy so there's always something going on.

An absolutely stunning place, full of history and beauty. The architecture is breathtaking, and the atmosphere is truly unique. It can get quite crowded, but it’s definitely worth visiting. A must-see spot in Venice!

A visit here is €15, somehow steeper than visiting the actual basilica over the square, but I think it was worth it. You get a quick lift ride to the top of the tower and then obviously the views across the city. It was a bit rainy when we went but this didn’t ruin the experience. We did expect some kind of joined up ticket system for St. Mark’s Square; I think it would be good to be able to buy a linked ticket for the basilica, campanile and palace. Similar to the Doge’s Palace, the online ticket system was hard to navigate but it worked in the end.

It’s really nice being able to see so much of Venice from the top of the bell tower— the views are definitely a highlight and really beautiful. We paid €40 to go up, which felt a bit pricey, but overall the experience was still worth it. It was raining the day we visited, yet we still enjoyed the panoramic views over the city. You can now only purchase tickets for the bell tower online. There is a QR code to scan by the main entrance or visit their official website in advance. There is only one official ticket office for bell tower tickets and so you want the website with basilicasanmarco.skiperformance in the web address. I also highly recommend you do this in advance as it took us 45 minutes trying to do this there and then & the website kept crashing or took an age to buffer on account of the number of people trying to do the same thing in the same location. When we moved away from the area the website loaded more easily. They are the best views of Venice for sure and cost €15 per adult with cheaper prices for children.

The ticket system can be a little overwhelming, but once you get them, you will wait some time in queue for the lift. We had tickets for 18:00 - 18:30, the sunset was at 18:08 and we entered queue around 17:57 and got up after 18:14, the sun was already set but still was beautiful. The views you get up There is like nothing else provided in Venezia. You can see almost all of it, if you are here i definitely recomend giving these views a go.

Definitely worth to visit the tower. Great view from the top for every side of Venice. The lift takes you up and then down again. Recommend to buy tickets in advance as it might be busy. Also entrance might be flooded during high tide so be prepared with shoes covers.

The ascent is super easy, done entirely by elevator, and you only pay the entrance ticket (no extra fees for the elevator). ​The experience is a pure lookout point: there are no rooms or exhibitions up there, but the reward is the most spectacular 360-degree view of the city. *** Tip: Go up in the afternoon! Often, the morning fog covers the tower and can hinder the view. In the afternoon, visibility is usually perfect, offering the best perspective.

You reach the top of the Campanile with an elevator and once on the top you can move around (literally) the balcony (closed with a metal net for security reasons. You will receive digital tickets, no need to print. You don’t need a guide for this tour, as it is literally just a sightseeing.

Wow. First look was across the square - what a magnificent place. Loved listening to Rick Steeves podcast about the square and outside of the church. So many intricacies and unique bits. Then we were a part of a mass in the side chapel- so lovely. Came back later that day for the whole tour (again with RS!) amazing history, architecture, heaving floor & art! Did the whole deal with Pala d’oro and Loggia and glad I did. So cool to get up close to the horses, the mosaics, the view from up top. I bought tickets the same day but that saved me some waiting time.

St. Mark’s Basilica – Venice We had tickets for the basilica but mixed up the date due to the time difference coming from the U.S.—we were supposed to visit on the 3rd at 3:00 PM, and only realized that day that our reservation was actually for the 4th which is the following day. We arrived very early in the morning of the 4th when it opened. There was an event in the piazza so there was no line at all, and we explained that we had to catch a train later that afternoon. Despite the empty entryway and our situation, we were denied entry and told to return at the exact reservation time. We respect that there are rules and timed tickets exist for crowd control, but it was disappointing that there was zero flexibility, especially when the basilica was not crowded and accommodating two visitors would not have impacted operations. The basilica itself is extraordinary, and MAYBE we’ll try again next time—but travelers should know that the staff take reservation times very strictly, even when the site is relatively quiet.

The Basilica di San Marco is really impressive. It offers incredible details and beautiful art. It is usually sold out for the next 2 days, so I recommend purchasing tickets in advance. On the official website you can buy it with an entry time, so you don’t have to queue outside. Once inside, you can also buy tickets for some additional areas of the Basilica, directly through a QR code that is placed right in front of the area you want to visit. If you wish to get an audio guide, you can rent one once inside, just after the access, but you will need your own earphones (which currently need a mini jack to be connected to the device), if you don’t have it, you can still hear it placing the device on your ear. This is available in several languages and it will be necessary if you want to know what you’re looking at in the Basilica. Depending on how long you want to stay inside, you may be able to see it all in 30-60 minutes, differently from the Palazzo Ducale which takes much longer. Have fun!

We visited around 5 PM, and it wasn’t busy at all, which made it even more enjoyable to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend booking tickets in advance to skip any lines and ensure your preferred time. Walking across the Bridge of Sighs and seeing the view from both sides was unforgettable. Truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Book ahead of time and the queue isn't TOTALLY awful. Impressive selection of fancy rooms with big paintings in them. Have fun spotting which doge looks the most like Santa! Surprised the gift shop doesn't do Doge Top Trumps, this would sell (if palazzo ducale are listening). Also top tip: at some point in the tour you get to the prison cells and you have the option to take the short route or the 'complete tour'. The complete tour is just LOTS MORE PRISON CELLS. Only take if you really enjoy empty stone rooms and stairs!

We booked a tour via get your guide (crown tours). The tour guide we had was passionate and her English was really easy to understand. We learnt so much. We chose the balcony tour and that was excellent and not too crowded. Got so much more out of your than I expected. Be warned plan to get there earlier than your time slot, I saw a couple who were late and missed there toyr and as other tours were full could not join the next one.

Oh my gracious what an incredible palace!! 686 years old. Do a tour! We did with skip the line passes. Hearing the history is needed to understand the meaning of so much of this palace. It is ginormous. I could walk around and stare at all the artwork and art, the exhibits, the prisons! Crazy to think prisoners as recently as 1920 were still being held here. The sheer wealth ugh

First problem was parking as it was after the rain and the shopping place was overcrowded. Took about 30 minutes. Se spend another 30 mins in queue cause you need to print online tickets. On site, they provide family tickets which you cannot buy online. The place inside is nice, but not with tons of people so you cannot even move. Add another star if you are here (almost) alone.

I do not really recommend the aquarium for an adult couple. In my opinion it isn't worth the money because it is quite small and you will be at the end after 20 minutes if you don't sit down and take some time to watch the fishes or read the boards. The space for the audience during the feeding show is not big enough. Anyway you get some interesting information and with kids you can probably spent a great time in here.

Really nice place to spend an hour or two. There’s a good variety of fish and a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and I even saw some of them explaining different exhibits to other visitors. It has free parking if you’re traveling by car but it’s also conveniently located if you’re staying in the area. Everyone really enjoyed our time there. The main drawback was not being able to use a stroller inside. I understand why but it’s a bit of an inconvenience for families. They offered us a sling but my daughter was just over the weight limit. Just something to keep in mind for families with young children. It’s also a bit on the pricey side (unless you find a deal online) when you compare it to other Sealife aquariums (or other aquariums for that matter) for what’s there. However, it’s kinda to be expected and I wasn’t disappointed on our visit.

Nice place to change atmosphere on the holidays. Sharks, fish, meduze sea horses are good to see close to you. It is a bit smaller than in Budapest.

Beautiful palace hidden in local area. Visit after lunch in San Daniele for world famous prosciutto. Restore nicely and taking very good care of. Beautiful ceilings and wood doors. The only down side is almost everything in Italian although I tried with audio scripts in English there is much less information than my husband gets in Italian and also some of them are no description as well even in Italian. I was very curious to an object in church, which contain looks like born or something. My husband is from local and he said he never see inside when he was small. So hope to get more attention from people and they can keep it for future. All the staff are very nice and helpful.

My second visit since 2022, glorious as ever. The festival covers a wide range of stalls with great artisan products and incredible collection of plants. We bought a camelia that blossoms through the winter which is unbelievable almost and a fancy variety of cosmos. Can’t wait to plant them already!

A gem worth visiting when in FVG. Villa is “empty” of any original furniture, but hosta many exhibitions. It is free to visit the outside premises and the park behind the villa, where you can find serenity.

I already been here for two concerts. It is amazing, very intimate vibe. Entering a concert here is as easy as it gets. Before you know it, you are already in front of the stage. Be aware, parking can be a bit chaotic, so if you are not from around, I recommend you paying for parking (15 eur approx). I recommend booking parking 5, as getting to it is a lot less chaotic than 3 and 4. Still be there on time, you never know. From any parking, you will have a good 15/20 mins walk to the venue, so allow yourself time. From parking 5, the walk is very nice. Locals place small bier gardens on their gardens so you can have a stop before or after the concert You walk in slowly into the villa and right before you know it, you are there with you fav artist. Enjoy it

At the concerts those that just parked in the field were better off than those of us that paid for the parking. If you want own water, you better have a backpack with bladder. Otherwise beer is not expensive.

This zoo is a great place to spend the day and offers a wide variety of animals to see, including capybaras, giraffes, tigers, pumas, and lions. The enclosures are nicely designed, and it’s clear that the animals are well cared for. The layout is easy to follow, so walking around is simple and enjoyable. One of the nice touches is the small bar where you can grab a cold drink or a snack like a sandwich perfect if you need a break. You can also bring your own food and enjoy it at one of the picnic tables, which is really convenient. Overall, it’s a fun and relaxing place to visit, whether you're going with friends, family, or just looking to enjoy a few hours surrounded by animals and nature. Highly recommended if you're looking for a well-kept zoo with a good atmosphere.

Very clean, beautiful zoo. We were in the park for 5 hours. The only downside is no free water fountains (or at least not that we're aware), we paid 80 cent for a liter at a refill station. Other than that animals were out and about and we saw 90% of them very clearly, even the famous snow leopard.

Small but nice zoo with quite many spieces on small territory. Some animals were hidden. Clean toilets, many opportunities to have a rest a many places for children. Nice time to spend when weather doesnt allow visiting the beach.

Well organised park,easy to get around,clean. It's accessible also for strollers and for people in wheelchair. It was thought through. Lots of trees that offer shade and 2 pretty big playgrounds for kids. Animals are well taken care of. The bathrooms are all clean, changing table for babies is also available. The parking is free 100m from the entrance. We enjoyed our day,it was during the week so we were almost alone. The only negative thing is the entrance fee. I believe it really is too expensive. We will come back because it's a great experience and well spent day..

One of the nicest Zoo I ever visited. Animals looked well taken care of and whole Zoo seems well maintained. There are also 2 nice playgrounds for kids. Would recommend for all families.

Very bad Customer Service. We (7 people) went in the afternoon at 2:45 pm as 4 hrs are more than enough to go in all attractions. However, they closed the park due to rain at 3:30 pm. We could hardly enjoy the park. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly when l asked her for a solution, perhaps giving us 3-4 passes to go on another afternoon. She simply say NO, she didn’t feel empathy nor gave us a solution. I believe she could have warned us about the closing of the park when we arrived at 2:45 pm. We go every year but we will think twice to go again.

Incredible natural beauty! The bridge over the water was breathtaking. Hike was fairly easy to do with kids. We also enjoyed the little drink station you can donate money and take a cold beverage. They also had bee boxes which were fun since I have kept bees in the past. So that was exciting.

It’s a must if you are in Slovenia! There is a huge parking lot - you have to pay via app the parking. Then you have an easy 20min walk to the waterfall that seems to be like out of this world! Truly worth the walk and drive there.

In Kobarid there is a paid car park (the first hour is free and the rest is reasonable) you have 15 minutes to Napoleon Bridge. In pick times, you should go in early (we arrived at 10 and had no problem). Otherwise there is a huge car park (Kobarid Fall). Make sure you download the app Easy Park in advance or bring cash. The route is very nice and the waterfall costs 5e per adult. There is a family fare. The river is absolutely beautiful but the waterfall is out of this world. You can continue the route and do the long historical trail but it's a bit steep and in total 7km long. In the route you can also see the trenches and a wooden bridge. If you are coming from Ljubljana we recommend getting the highway to Nova Gorica and then the 103 and 102. This path is less curvy than other roads.

Absolutely beautiful place and well worth the hike to it. We went to see Slovenia’s largest waterfall the day before (Slap Boka) but it’s such a disappointment (when there isn’t much water) compared to the Slap Kozjak. The final view point is from a wooden area, all well done. Some steps might be a bit wet but there’s usually a metal line to hold onto. There’s an entrance fee of 5 Euro which is well spent.

Nice experience. The official parking is about 20 min away. But the trail to waterfall reveals beautiful Soča river so no boring moments. As per May 2025, the wooden bridge was closed. But new wooden beams were already stacked near by which make me conclude that it will be reopen soon. The entrance fee is decent 5 EUR. The walk from entrance to waterfall is 5-10 min. The one issue is end of trail because the visitors need to come back the same way. The platform near the waterfall is quite small and the passage is very narrow and only 1 person can go through. In our case, a lady stopped in the passage and took pics for a long time. Would suggest to management to put signs in that spot. Other than that, great place!

I was impressed by this Basilica. By first look it doesn't looks so important and noble, but than you discover, that it has great mosaics on the whole tloris. That there are no frescoes, but you can still sees remainings of its frescoes on the walls. That there is an amazing octagonal baptisterium separated from church building. There is also a free museum with antique marble stone collection. The basilica has also treasure with in the vault. There is also famous golden altar. But at the end you can feel small and just sit down on the bench and pray with gratitude to God.

A very old church, in the historical town Grado. I recommend visiting it, if you spend some time in this beautiful town. When you attend the holy mass on sunday you can hear the wonderful chore during the mass, mainly consisting of elder Grado citizens. A pleasant experience.

Huge and impressive memorial for all the brave men and soldiers who fought for the freedom of Italy. It’s 22 sections with stairs up to the catholic church. Each section is filled with the name of the soldiers. There’s also a museum on top, as well as restrooms. Small parking on top. A larger parking on the opposite of the the road. No entrance fee to the memorial.

Stop by and honour the boys who built the world for us. One of the saddest corners in Italy. It is one of the largest military memorial cemetery in honour of the soldiers who died in Isonzo front during the first world war. While you visit the place, I invite you to kindly imagine the horror of a war, the pain and suffering of the boys and the suffering of the family back in their homes. Do we need another war ? ... Anywhere??? Near the cemetery and on the other side of the hill, one may observe trenches and the guns and shells used during the war. Ample parking. Highly recommended. Please bring young kids and show them the horror.

Interesting to see that Mussolini's role in creating the monument has not been removed from history in the plaque at the top of the monument. Like most Americans, I'd grown up knowing little of the history of WWI on the "Italian front." My son married a woman from this area of Italy, so I've learned more about it. This memorial concerns the casualties of the WWI battles along the Isonzo River, the last of which was the almost complete destruction of the Italian army at Caporetto. Giant steps have placards with names of the dead, and at the top are tombs memorializing the 60K unknowns. For an American, imagine something at least 10x the size of the Vietnam memorial; the scale is hard to grasp. A small chapel is at the top. Nearby are exhibits, mostly pictures contributed by families of their dead sons. The pictures are haunting... faces of young men (boys really), that died more than 100 years ago. Nearby are remnants of trenches cut into the rocky soil. Hard to imagine what they endured here. Well worth a stop if you're in the area.

Beautiful view on the sea, a charming location (the castle was built on cliffs) and pretty surroundings. It's not too big, we finished going through the entire thing in about 1,5h, it's worth it though! Very pretty and interesting to see for someone like me, who lives far from sea.

I usually don’t visit many castles because I often find them a bit boring, but Duino Castle is definitely worth it. The exterior is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and an amazing view of the sea, including the ruins of another old castle nearby. The inside is also really interesting, with a mix of classic and slightly kitschy décor that makes it fun to look at and also great for photos. Overall, a visit that feels both scenic and entertaining. (You can skip the bunker, nothing to see and a bit scary in my opinion)

A lovely small castle in a beautiful location. It’s not as crowded with tourists as, for example, Miramare Castle, but it’s still worth arriving at opening time if you’re looking for a calmer experience. The nearby Rilke trail is also very scenic and definitely worth a walk. On the downside, there weren’t many rooms furnished with historical artefacts, and the information boards in English were quite limited. There are also no benches in the park, which could be inconvenient for older visitors, a few resting spots would make the experience more comfortable.

Lovely square with plenty of free parking for motorbikes. The harbour was also very beautiful, sadly in motorbike clothing and 40 degree heat, we didn't stay long but would love to revisit one-day.

Tartini's square in the City of Piran, Slovenia, is a beautiful example of Mediterranean city urban planning that nailed it. People of all ages enjoy spending time there. It is vibrant all day long. Great views - to the marina, the sea, surrounding buildings, monument of Tartini, shops, caffees and restaurants, a lot of benches to just sit and relax while you get amused just by looking at people of all ages doing their thing. It is a real jam for photographers and a great place to make a tone of different selfies.

I had the baklava ice cream and hands down it was the best ice cream I've ever tasted - my partner agreed and he is an ice cream fanatic! Highly recommend, amazing ice cream and lovely friendly service too.

If you’re reading this trying to decide when to go, here's your tip: go when the clouds show up. Trust me. A little drizzle never hurt anyone (you’re wet anyway), and it might just give you the best day of your vacation. Now, spoiler alert: as an overgrown, oversized, and fully aged-up kid, I may have caused a few joyful physics experiments on the slides - the kind involving mass, acceleration, viscosity, and splash radius. We visited Istralandija on a Tuesday in September during the off season and had a wonderful time. The park is very clean and offers a wide variety of water slides. Since it was a cloudy day and not peak season, there were very few people which made the experience even better. We visited Istralandia with our two small children (4 years old and 4 months old). Unfortunately, a neighboring sun umbrella—left unattended—was blown over by the wind and hit my wife. One of its exposed metal rods broke loose and left a mark on her leg. Immediately after it happened, we called a nearby staff member for help, but he reacted angrily and pushed the umbrella about 20 cm aside with visible frustration on his face before walking away. Because of this, we asked to speak with the manager, Danijel Lucic. Unfortunately, his response was arrogant and dismissive. He said that “he can’t control the weather” and refused to replace the dangerous umbrella. Additionally, some umbrella bases appear to be too small, making the umbrellas unstable even in light wind. We noticed this happening with several other guests’ umbrellas as well. This kind of attitude and lack of preventive safety measures is unacceptable in a family-friendly water park. Safety should always come first—especially with so many small children around. We expected more responsibility and care from the management. Sadly, we’re disappointed with how the situation was handled.

I visited a year later and I am changing to 5 stars. The food is still water park food, but new items and better quality. The park is really clean. The new grassed area is fantastic also. Bring towels and remember no cash. Excellent place to visit …………….. The water slides are great. The seating is average, lots of umbrellas that don’t work and generally not that well kept. The food is edible but best avoided. Bring a credit card as no cash can be used inside.

This was an amazing experience as you step through time from the Romans to the Byzantine period and all the way through the 16th century to today. It is an experience not to be missed. You feel directly in touch with history and the sense of the centuries in the church is palatable, making it a unique experience in today’s modern fast-paced life. I cannot recommend a visit to Porec anf the Basilica enough. I would go again.

The tall, simple Romanesque-style bell tower seen in the photo is separate from the main basilica structure and can be accessed from a side street within the old town.

Unbelievably delicious! Great service! We also bought the truffle oil and also the olive oil, which you can taste for free during your lunch or dinner! The friendly staff speaks German and English fluently and it was just cozy!

Very lively place with a lot of people, definitely the right place if you want to feel like you are in the middle of a lively scene. Food was good and the service was amazing. The only downside is that I would not recommend you to order the margaritas because they are not that good.

Great atmosphere, the salami on the plate is varied and very good, friendly waiters. This whole neighborhood with four bars (it doesn't really matter which one you go to ), which practically touch each other, gives this area a special feeling - I can highly recommend a visit...

Great experience for young and 'old'. Well organised and great team of people. Large parking next to it at the designated adress of this experience. You just need to drive down on the LEFT side of the building. We went at opening around 10 o'clock. By 11.30 it was getting crowded and parking almost full. When paying, you are designated to a group, which also estimates the time it will be your turn. Next, the teamleaders call your group in order to equip and secure you. Fun and adrenaline! Exceeded our expectations. Two ziplines over the Pazin cave, amazing view as you go over it. 5 min walk back to the starting point. Fantastic team! Friendly and welcoming staff. Short waiting times and instructions in multiple languages. Staff handles everything, ensuring a safe ride for everyone. Equipment looked brand new and braking is adjusted based on your weight for a smooth landing. Parking available behind the hotel. Recommended!

It was an interesting experience. I arrived late, so I only had time to join the zip line. You can book in advance to take part in other exciting activities.

Great experience. Very safe. Professional personell so you don't have fear of anything bad could happen. :) These days is very crowded becsuse of tourists. So if you can choose your time better come at the beginning of september. We had to wait 2 hours for our turn.

The zipline was a lot of fun, and the staff were very nice and informative. There are only two lines though, so the experience doesn't last long.

Beautiful view of the entire city! The castle is well preserved, and there’s a small café inside. The entrance fee is €3. As you go up, there’s a place to park under the trees, and you can also visit the church nearby. If you’re in the city or the surrounding area, it’s definitely worth a visit. You won’t need more than 20–30 minutes.

Small castle but looks amazing with the beautiful Croatian flag.There is a magnificent view from here. There is a small cafe here for a snack and a drink . A very steep staircase with many steps leads to the castle. But it is difficult for the elderly and children. It's better to take bus 2 or 8

This is a great spot to walk to from the heart of Rijeka. You can either take the stairs (there are at least two sets to choose from) or the side roads. The castle is free to visit, has some interesting architectural features and views given its elevation above the city. I was here on a fall feast day, and there were several tour groups at the castle. I would imagine that it would get crowded during the height of the tourist season.

Entering was free. We spent 1.5 hours wondering around, bigger place than we thougth, it was beautiful. The garden and towers are kept in good shape, view to the canal and the city was also stunning from here. You can enjoy a coffee our a meal also.

The castle offers a beautiful view of the city and the sea. The entrance fee is cheap, you can only pay with a credit card. There is a small cafe bar and museum here.

Great walk towards the castle if you have a bit of a condition because it requires quite some stairs from Rijeka. But it's more than worth it, amazing views and afterwards a nice drink inside while watching the sun go down.

One of the cathedrals that is worth the entrance fee (payable in cash). Though small, the baptistery is quite impressive. Outside the cathedral also holds many interesting details to look at. Take the brochure once inside the cathedral to read. Is well laid out information. The cathedral ticket comes with a free visit to Civitas Sacra museum (can skip unless you need find a place to escape the sun).

I visited on a weekday to avoid the larger crowds. The cathedral is one of the most significant and stunning architectural landmarks in Croatia. Since I wasn’t wearing the appropriate clothing (shorts), I chose not to enter out of respect, so I was only able to admire its exterior. Even so, the façade was breathtaking, and I look forward to returning someday to experience the interior as well. For photography enthusiasts, this spot is truly postcard-worthy.

The cathedral & the whole of Šibenik old town are stunning. Get there early or stay late to avoid the crowds. You won't regret it

The must see in the cathedral is the small baptistery with carved ceiling. The 7€ entrance fee does also include the museum in a separate location. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to visit, so the fee is quite high. They only take cash too. They do provide a brochure in multiple languages so that you can do a self-guided tour, which is much better than many other cathedrals.

This is a natural miracle! Everything is well organized-after you buy the ticket, a boat takes you to the park in about 20 minutes. The whole journey is fantastic. Then waterfalls and paths within the park are very natural and amazingly.

An amazing series of waterfalls in a beautiful valley. I had not heard of Krka national park before visiting Croatia as it is not as well known as the Plitvice park but it is just as beautiful. We visited on a day trip from Split in late October. It is about 1 hour 20mins from Split. There are many different areas of the park and we visited Lozovac. Here there is a large free car park with free toilets near to the ticket office. The start of the waterfalls walk is in a valley about 1km from the ticket office. There is a regular shuttle bus every 15 mins or you can walk down a gravel path. We chose to walk down. The path is quite steep in places so you might want to use the shuttle bus to return as it is uphill on the way back. There are more toilets and a cafe near to the start of the boardwalk which is about 3.5km long and is suitable for buggies. There are lots of little streams and small falls but the main falls is near the end just after another cafe and some gift stalls. The whole valley is so beautiful, especially in the autumn and we got lucky on a cloudless sunny day.

Best to visit in sunny weather, beautiful waterfalls and lots of benches and restaurants within the park from skradin side. Very bad direction labelling, the trail is not clearly marked so we ended going around a circle instead of forward to the monastery :( Ask for directions along every way!

Fantastic natural parc! We took the boat from Skrandic and walked the whole round hike to the top and back again. Lot of wildlife and panoramic spots! Don't take a stroller with you, there are a lot of stairs and if you skip them, you'll miss many viewpoints.

Beautiful scenery. Easy walking. Well signposted. Only downside was the price of food and drink inside the park, absolutely disgraceful. €7 for a pouch with less fries than a McDonald's and €19.50 for a pathetic burger. I get not wanting people to bring food and drink in due to rubbish and cross contamination of food/nature but sort your prices out.

We got the boat to the waterfall the views and surroundings on the way were amazing. The food by the waterfall was lovely and then the photo opportunitys were fabulous some of which I posted. Would recommended a visit here.

Fabulous experience of nature. Waterfalls were great. We took the boat from the nearby town and that was great. My mom who had difficulties walking could tag along with her walker. The stroll around the waterfalls were tough but worth it. It took about 30 minutes. Lots of steps here so no walker around the falls but no problem to and from the falls.
