Nestled along the serene banks of the Shipra River, the Bhartrihari Caves are a captivating ancient rock-hewn complex located in Ujjain's tranquil suburbs. Estimated to be over 2000 years old, these caves pay homage to the revered poet and philosopher Bhartrihari, who is said to have meditated here for twelve years after renouncing worldly desires.
Bhartrihari Caves, Ujjain A visit to Bhartrihari Caves takes you deep into Ujjain’s spiritual past. Nestled near the banks of the Shipra River, these ancient caves are believed to be where sage-poet Bhartrihari, the brother of King Vikramaditya, meditated after renouncing royal life. The tranquil surroundings, cool stone interiors, and faint echoes of devotional chants create a serene, reflective atmosphere. Visitors can explore the small shrines inside and feel a strong sense of timeless devotion. Best visited early morning, the site offers peace away from the city’s bustle—perfect for those seeking solitude and spiritual connection in the heart of Ujjain.

Brathari Cave is a nice place to visit if you enjoy history and spirituality. The atmosphere is peaceful, but the cave is not very well maintained and facilities are limited. It’s good for a short visit, but not something that stands out as a must-see.
Mahendra W — Google review
Caves are ok. They are very small. Do not rush into the caves when lot of people are there. It get a bit suffocating when too many people. Be patient and wait for your turn. The more calm and composed you are the more fun you will have.

Bhartrihari Gufa (Caves) is a famous spiritual and historical site in Ujjain, associated with the great sage Maharishi Bhartrihari, the elder brother of King Vikramaditya of Ujjain. He became a disciple of Guru Gorakhnath (Nath sect) and spent the rest of his life in meditation in these caves. Inside, there are small shrines dedicated to Bhartrihari, Guru Gorakhnath, and other Nath yogis. The atmosphere is peaceful, attracting saints, sadhus, and devotees throughout the year. Around 3–4 km from Mahakaleshwar Temple.

A place full of history and peace, where the great saint Bhartrihari meditated. The cave carries a mystical aura, and sitting here gives immense calmness. This place is also very special and close to my heart, as I visited here with someone special — all by the grace of Maa Kali.

Bhartrihari Gufa (caves) in Ujjain is a sacred cave complex on the shores of the River Kshipra, named after the legendary King Bhartrihari who is said to have meditated there for 12 years after renouncing his kingdom. The site features traditional rock-cut architecture, a tomb (samadhi) of the sage, a dhuni (fire for yoga), and is a peaceful spot for religious and historical tourism, though the narrow passages may not be suitable for everyone.
Komal K — Google review
The ancient cave structure stands as a testament to the lives of people in the past, before the development of modern construction technologies. Under what circumstances did one of the great emperors encounter Saint Goraknath, receive his blessings, and learn valuable lessons about the superiority of a yogi's power, which encompasses the ability to both kill and give life, unlike the limitations of a king's authority?

Beautiful and very spacious garden, well maintained and situated in the Sailana city. It is having lots of cactus plants in various designs, shape and sizes. Clean and calm place, very cozy, comforting and great views of greenery. Tickets need to be taken for entering the garden. No need for advance ticket booking, you can buy it at the entrance of the garden and palace. No rush , no long waiting and very less crowded and very easy to locate place. Plenty of parking available for car and bikes so no need to worry about parking as well.

Great place away from the urban areas. Network will be an issue. Moreover, be aware that there are limited accommodation and food facilities, so book in advance if staying overnight. Being in and around Nature is the best thing at this place. Good for light trekking, and scenic views. Must visit.

there is a rare bear in this Sanctuary, so if you go for a specific bear then it's a waste of time but other than this here is an amazing sunset comparison with any one. A lot of years ago Pandavas made the Temple of Mahadev there and it's so Amazing. A peaceful place for couples, families and all Sunset views & Sunrise views are like heaven go and enjoy. But not go up with your own vehicle it's damaged your vehicle due to roads not that much good. Enjoy and don't forget to like my review.

Best place for the refreshment, picnic and trekking. There is a waterfall and you can visit the waterfall by small trekking. Best time to visit is monsoon season. There is also some entry and parking ticket
Tushar M — Google review
Experience was quit a good one. Had fun trekking to almost the top. Though it was off season, we were alone to trek. But being in nature always feel good. As per suggest from locals, Monsoon is great time to explor as well as staying in night.
Pramik D — Google review
Monsoon bliss at its best with gushing waterfall and trek by the river on the hill made my weekend amazing. The pathway is quite rocky and tough for beginners but the waterfall at the tops makes it worth the efforts. Don't miss out taking a dip in the pool of the waterfall. the rocks might be slippery due to algae so be very careful. Don't carry any plastic as its a plastic prohibited zone.
Kaivalya C — Google review
Ratanmahaal is really a very beautiful place. Best time to visit is monsoon.( August-Sept).The Sanctuary is open from around 8AM to 6PM. Waterfall is in the Jungle. You'll have to walk for 2-3km. You should wear good trekking shoes for the Jungle walk. You should Carry food and water with you (from home). No proper Shops nearby this area. Enjoy your trip.

Hathni Mata Temple

Hathni Mata Temple is a serene and picturesque destination, especially during the monsoon season. It's an ideal spot for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts, offering a tranquil retreat from the fast-paced urban life. The temple of Lord Shiva nearby adds to the spiritual ambiance. While it may not be advisable to visit during the monsoon due to lack of waterfalls, visiting in other seasons offers a quiet and peaceful experience. The friendly locals add to the welcoming atmosphere.
Totally recommended place for hiking lovers. But never go there as a single person, always go with a group, or minimum 3 people. The reason for not going alone is, the place is very spooky, initially during the day I am very sure you would not feel it, but as the evening hours start you would feel it, and trust me when I say that. Also the rocks might hurt you when you go in the waterfall beside the temple, so always wear your footwear while going in the water. BRIEF OF THE TEMPLE: The temple stone is in the shape of an elephant, and therefore it is called hathni mata. Beside the holy stone is another stone in the shape of a turtle, all of it is made from a single stone. NOTE: The waterfall is not available for 12 months, only in the monsoon season you will be able to see the rushing flow of water and green land else it's just rocks and trees, good for mountaineers

There are beautiful ❤️.. place in hathni mata waterfall.... In hollyday
Mitesh T — Google review
The waterfalls are good! Beautiful experience. However the services are pathetic! The toilets are dirty! Wonder why would government not create infrastructure at picnic spots with such nice beautiful waterfall... Roads are narrow! During monsoon plan trip to start your journey back home by 2pm as narrow roads and soft land could cause issues for car getting stuck. 2 hrs is good enough time! Must go but with group
Saurabh C — Google review
Nice water fall during monsoon season. Have hindu Shivling and Hathani mata under waterfall. Must visit place. The place have some sharp rocks and some area have deep downfalls so be careful with bear foot. The water level is very low in most of waterfall so it's considered safe and good place.
Devak G — Google review
I think off monsoon season is not the beat choice to visit this place. I visited this place in feb 2021, there id no waterfall but he place was very quiet and peacefull. Also got the chance to see mataji very closely and to click a lot of pics. Local peoples are also very friendly and helpful. Our route was started from pavagarh , so the road was passing through a jungle , which scared my wife but i was having too much fun.We are planning ti visit again in monsoon season, then i will update you again.
Marutendra S — Google review
Hii...Hathini Mata waterfall is not as good as shown in many pictures or videos yes you can see that views when there is heavy rainfall but worthy visiting place. One route is through the forest where you can see many signboard with pictures including hyena and cheeta..but overall place is just ok not as good as should be. This place has a temple known as hathini mata temple and is good place for religious people...Thank you very much🙂

It was really awesome experience. I loved the place. One should carry water bottles and food. Entire premises was centralized AC. Very well maintained. Even in summer time one can visit. You won't feel tired. One should try 5D theatre.

I had a wonderful time at the Balasinor Dinosaur Fossil Park and Museum in Gujarat. It's a fantastic, highly informative place that's great for both kids and adults. Anyone who loves learning and discovering new things about dinosaurs should definitely visit. It's a must-see! My family and I really enjoyed our visit. We're very grateful to Gujarat Tourism and the Gujarat government for creating such a wonderful place.
Amitava S — Google review
I recently visited the Dinosaur Fossil Park and Museum in Rayoli as part of a bike riding trip with friends. The park is a great destination for school trips and families with kids. It offers a decent educational experience, showcasing the history of dinosaurs through projector displays and exhibits. There’s also a 5D theatre that aims to give an immersive experience of the dinosaur era. While it was an interesting addition, it didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of quality and excitement. One major downside was the way the actual dinosaur fossils were stored — they seemed to be kept in a rather neglected and poorly maintained area, which was disappointing considering the importance of the artifacts. Overall, it's a nice spot for a quick visit, especially for children and school groups, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of presentation and maintenance. I’d rate it around 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Mr.dipesh P — Google review
Recently visited the Dinosaur Fossil Park and Museum in Balasinor, about 2.5 hours' drive from Ahmedabad, and it was an eye-opening experience. It’s incredible to see the actual fossil remains and dinosaur bones from what was once one of the largest dinosaur nesting sites in the world. The museum is well-curated, informative, and offers a great glimpse into prehistoric India. A must-visit for history buffs, families, or anyone curious about the ancient world, it’s not just educational, it’s truly awe-inspiring! 🦕✨
Krishna A — Google review
Kids who love dinosaurs really enjoy this place. It has amusements and a good number of statutes for various dinosaurs. It ads knowledge for those who want to learn the history. 5D show and VR were also good ( could have been better), but good considering economy ticket prices.. good for one time visit and you can spend 1.5 to 2 hours here with kids and family..
Dipak D — Google review
We visited the Balasinor Dinosaur Fossil Park just 2 days back with family, and it was an amazing experience — especially for kids! Located in Raiyoli village near Balasinor, Gujarat, this place is famously known as the "Jurassic Park of India." It is recognized as one of the world's largest dinosaur hatcheries, where over 10,000 fossilized dinosaur eggs have been discovered. Even now, excavations often uncover new fossils and remains. The park has several sections showcasing the history of dinosaurs through 3D presentations, information kiosks, and well-curated displays. The 5D show and VR experience were the best part of the visit — thoroughly enjoyable for both kids and adults! There are also food stalls, ample parking space, and souvenir shops with dinosaur-themed products for children. Entry Fee: ₹70 per person. (Other fees are there like 5D,VR etc, overall 400 rs) Overall, it's a perfect one-day outing spot for families — educational, fun, and unique. If you're visiting Gujarat, this place is definitely worth adding to your itinerary!
Pratik D — Google review
Nice place for one time visit. It's one of the three fossil parks in the world. But not maintained at all. No value of this precious fossils in open area. Museum is also very well made but not maintained like that. Washrooms are not very much cleaned. 5d theatre and chairs also not maintained. Waste of money in 5d & VR tickets.
Mehul P — Google review
Visited on 16-08-2025. Adult tickets is only 70 rupee. They have only 2 or 3 VR set and most of the time on charging and waiting period is approx 2-3 hour for that, 3D film quality is very low. In 5D theater combination of screen and seat movement have miss connection have 1-2 second delay.Tthey should improve maintenance factor.Staff need training regrade the place. They have shop at exit point, shop is okay okay type. Good place for children not for adults hang out

Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park

Archaeological site
Sights & Landmarks
UNESCO-listed remains of a 16th century Hindu city with fortresses, temples, mosques & palaces.
🏞️ UNESCO Heritage & Historical Significance Champaner–Pavagadh Archaeological Park is a vast 1,329-hectare landscape that preserves nearly two millennia of history—from Chalcolithic settlements to a 16th-century Sultanate capital. It's the only fully intact Islamic pre‑Mughal city in existence today. Pavagadh Hill, reaching about 800 m above the plains, served as an ancient Hindu fortress and today hosts the sacred Kalika Mata Temple, drawing pilgrims year-round. 🕌 Architecture & Key Monuments Jami Masjid (Jama Masjid) Built under Sultan Mahmud Begada (completed ~1513), this grand mosque is a prime example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Boasts two 30 m minarets, 172 pillars, seven mihrabs, multiple domes, and intricate carvings blending Hindu and Islamic motifs. Other Notable Mosques Saher ki Masjid (Bohrani) – Former royal mosque with elegant arches and garden setting. Kevada Mosque – Five domes and twin minarets with nature-inspired carvings. Nagina Mosque – ‘Jewel Mosque’ in white stone, exquisite geometric latticework. Lila Gumbaj Ki Masjid – Elevated platform with a fluted central dome. Pre-Medieval Heritage The Lakulisa Temple (10th–11th century) on Pavagadh Hill is one of the oldest, showcasing Nagara-style sculpture and Shaiva iconography. Jain temples (13th–14th century) dedicated to Suparshwanath, Chandraprabha, and Parshwanath also dot the hilltop complex. A total of 114 monuments are listed by the Baroda Heritage Trust, with 39 maintained by ASI. 🧗 Visiting Info & Experience Champaner town lies at the foot of Pavagadh and showcases remains of its short-lived 15th-century sultanate rule, fortified walls, palace ruins, stepwells, and water systems. Pavagadh Hill ascent is accessible via walking trails and a ropeway leading to the Kalika Mata Temple. The climb offers scenic views and ancient fort gates (Atak, Moti, Budhiya, etc.). Best time to visit: Early daylight hours or late afternoon; especially lively during Navratri when tens of thousands visit the hill shrine. ⭐ Why It Matters 1. Unique Historical Testimony – Offers both Hindu and early Sultanate heritage in astonishing original form. 2. Architectural Excellence – The Jami Masjid and other monuments blend Hindu craftsmanship with Islamic aesthetics. 3. Continued Living Culture – The Kalika Mata Temple atop Pavagadh is a vibrant pilgrimage site today. ✅ Suggested Google Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Champaner–Pavagadh Archaeological Park is a breathtaking UNESCO site in Gujarat that seamlessly merges prehistoric settlements, medieval temples, forts and monuments. From the tranquil Champaner town to the awe-inspiring Jami Masjid with its intricate carvings and elegant pillars, and up to the sacred Kalika Mata Temple on Pavagadh Hill—it’s a journey through multiple layers of faith and history. Highlights: • Well-preserved Indo-Islamic mosques (Jami, Nagina, Kevada, Saher ki Masjid) • Ancient Hindu and Jain temples on Pavagadh Hill • Cable car access and scenic hiking trails bound to cultural gates • Ideal for history lovers, religious pilgrims, architecture buffs, and casual tourists • Particularly animated during Navratri, yet peaceful at other times A sublime heritage destination that captures Gujarat’s layered past. Truly unforgettable.
Pavan K — Google review
My visit to Pavagadh was truly an unforgettable experience — a perfect blend of spirituality, nature, and history. Rising majestically near Champaner, the hill offers breathtaking views and holds immense religious importance as the sacred abode of Maa Kalika, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths of India. The moment I stepped onto the path leading to the temple, I could feel a divine energy in the air, surrounded by chants and the sound of temple bells echoing through the hills. The journey itself is part of the joy. You can either trek up the ancient stone steps or take the ropeway (Udankhatola) that gives a spectacular aerial view of the lush green valley below. The ropeway is well-maintained, safe, and adds a sense of adventure to the pilgrimage. Once at the top, the view of the Kalika Mata Temple against the backdrop of clouds and cliffs is simply mesmerizing. The temple is beautifully preserved, and the devotees’ devotion adds to the spiritual aura of the place. Beyond its religious value, Pavagadh is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, forming part of the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. The ancient forts, Jain temples, and historic ruins scattered around make it a paradise for history lovers and photographers alike. Clean surroundings, improving facilities, and the welcoming nature of local people make the trip even more pleasant. Watching the sunset from the hilltop after offering prayers was the perfect end to my day — peaceful, powerful, and deeply satisfying. Overall, Pavagadh is not just a destination; it’s a divine journey that connects you with Gujarat’s rich culture, faith, and natural beauty. A must-visit for anyone seeking a mix of adventure, devotion, and serenity.

Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park is A UNESCO World Heritage. It is a unique blend of Hindu, Jain, and Islamic heritage, centered around the 8th-century city of Champaner and Pavagadh Hill. It was founded by Vanraj Chavda, and later ruled by Rajput Chauhans until 1484, when Sultan Mahmud Begada captured it, and renamed Muhammadabad. He built mosques, palaces, and water systems here. He made it capital of Gujarat until it's decline due to Mughal attack in 1536. This site was recognized in 2004 which features 114 monuments, including the Kalika Mata Temple, a major hindu pilgrimage center, the architecturally significant Jama Masjid, and innovative stepwells, showcasing a rare pre-Mughal Islamic city. Its cultural synthesis, historical significance, and intact landscape turn it into a vital archaeological and spiritual site, though it is partly unexcavated and less tourist-friendly due to limited infrastructure you should definitely visit if you want to explore somewhere less crowded.

This site is mainly having two parts: one is Jami masjid and another is Saher ki masjid. Both were built by mahmud begada in between 1484-1536. However later Humayun (Moughal Emperor) looted and invaded the place. One can visit the site to see old archeology and some photoshoots too.

A Hidden Gem Near Pavagadh – Champaner I recently visited Champaner near Pavagadh, Vadodara – and what an incredible experience it was! This place truly feels like a step back in time. It's peaceful, serene, and full of ancient charm. The craftsmanship of the old workers is nothing short of extraordinary. Every stone, pillar, and arch tells a story of skill and dedication. Walking through the site, we could feel the royal vibes – like stepping into the shoes of a prince wandering through his grand kingdom. The atmosphere is calm and filled with positive energy. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone who appreciates history, architecture, and tranquil surroundings. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and deeply connected to the past. Highly recommended if you're anywhere near Vadodara!

Pavagadh Hills is a rugged peak that may have been fortified in the 8th century. It boasts a circa-10th-century complex of Hindu temples, including the important Kalikamata Temple dedicated to Kali, the goddess of destruction. The summit offers stunning views and attracts throngs of pilgrims who can ascend via a two to three-hour trail or take a shuttle halfway up from along the Champaner citadel's south wall before catching a cable car.
Pavagadh Hills Shaktipeeth - Review Visiting Pavagadh Hills is truly a memorable experience for any spiritual traveler or adventure seeker. The journey combines spirituality, nature, and a touch of thrill with the ropeway ride. The ropeway facility is fairly good and earns a solid 4 out of 5. The cable cars are modern, safe, and offer a scenic ride over lush green forests and rocky hills. However, the waiting area at the ropeway station could be much better organized. During weekends or holidays, queues get long, and there’s hardly any proper waiting zone to relax while standing in line. So, patience is required! Important tip: Even if you take the ropeway, remember, you still have to climb around 500–600 steps to reach the main temple. So, come prepared with comfortable footwear and stay hydrated. But once you reach the top, the views are simply breathtaking. The panoramic sight of the surrounding hills and forests makes the entire climb worth it. And when you finally reach the sanctum for Mataji’s darshan, all your tiredness magically disappears. There’s an unexplainable peace and divine energy at the temple that refreshes you instantly. For food, the temple trust runs an Annakshatra dining hall near the temple, offering satvik Gujarati bhojan for just ₹20 per person. It’s simple, tasty, and feels heavenly after the tiring journey. If you have some extra time, you can visit Dudhiya Lake which is located near the temple. It’s a small, peaceful spot but frankly, it’s just okay compared to the stunning natural beauty you witness on the hills. Additional tips: • Ropeway tickets can be booked both online and offline, but if your plan is fixed, book online. Online booking allows direct access from the parking area, saving time and energy. • Parking charges for a car are ₹100 for the first 6 hours, which is reasonable given the facilities provided. ⸻ Pavagadh Shaktipeeth - A Brief History Pavagadh Hill is one of the 51 major Shaktipeethas across India and holds immense religious significance. According to mythology, it is believed that the right toe of Goddess Sati fell here, making it a sacred pilgrimage site for devotees of the Goddess. The temple atop the hill is known as the Mahakali Mata Temple, and it has been a revered spiritual center for centuries. The ancient architecture, combined with the raw energy of the place, reminds visitors of the temple’s timeless importance. It’s said that many kings and rulers of Gujarat and surrounding regions sought blessings here before major battles or important events. The blend of mythological importance, scenic beauty, and the challenging yet fulfilling journey to reach Mataji makes Pavagadh Shaktipeeth a must-visit destination.

The experience of seeing Mataji was very nice. There are about 2000 steps. If you don't want to climb the steps, there is also a ropeway. However, if it is a holiday, there is a long line for it. The rest is a very nice and religious place.

A prominent hill station and pilgrimage site, Pavagadh Hill Rises to about 800 meters, it is a part of the Aravalli Ranges and is known for the ancient Kalika Mata Temple one of the 51 sakhtipeethas at its summit, dedicated to Goddess Kali. The hills hold historical significance with ruins of the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring forts, mosques, and stepwells from the 8th to 16th centuries. The area was once the capital of the Chauhan Rajputs and later ruled by the Solankis and Mughals. Jai Shree Mahakali Mataji! 🙏 This place is like a heaven. During raining 🌧️ the surrounding nature is looks very beautiful. 🚫 Some devotees do not pay attention on cleaness and they throw different types of polythene bags, plastic bottles, papers etc. on foot steps. There is not too many wastage basket for waste storage. Temple authority and Gujarat government should pay attention on cleaness and waste management issues on this place. There should be cleaness awareness poster on some places.

✨ Beautiful Temple Visit ✨ This temple is a wonderful place to visit with your family. You can reach the temple in two ways: 🚠 Cable Car Ride – Available for visitors, but tickets should be booked online at least one day in advance, especially during Navratri, as it gets very crowded. 🚶 On Foot – For those who enjoy trekking, you can also reach the temple by climbing on foot. 🚗 Reaching the Temple: On weekdays, you can drive your own vehicle directly up to the temple parking area. On weekends, private vehicles are not allowed beyond Pavagarh bus stop. You’ll need to take a bus from there to the temple base. It’s a blend of spiritual vibes and scenic beauty—perfect for a family outing! 🌸

Excellent experience - both spiritual and for the view. Current one has to climb about 300-400 steps to reach the temple despite taking the ropeway. But it appears that this ropeway is being extended to almost the top just near the temple and only a few steps will remain to be climbed. The darshan was easy, the view mesmerising and the experience elevating.

Galteswar Shiva Temple, Dakor, Gujarat Beautiful ambience! The rocks on the river Mahi is really a place where one can enjoy the flowing waters. Located 16 km from Dakor town. It is a Shiva temple of the Solanki period. Situated on the sangam of the rivers Mahi and Galati where it is said lived Galav Muni Chandrahaas of Puranic fame. At present the lovely rocky bank of Mahi and the beautiful old Shiva temple on it has one spring of the River Galati, that constantly sprinkling water on the Shiva linga. Rich in art and architecture, it has a unique eight-sided hall. The walls have carved figures of Gods, gandharvas, humans, rishis, horse riders, elephant riders, chariots, doli and the events of the human life, that is from birth to death, all are depicted in these carvings. The temple is the Monument of National Importance and protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. The shikhara as well as the mandapa of the temple collapsed in 1908. The restoration of shikhara was completed by ASI in September 2021. The Galteshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, located at Sarnal village near Dakor in Kheda district, Gujarat, India. The 12th century temple is unique in its style and of its period because it is built in central Indian Malwa style, bhumija, without influence of Paramara architecture and with influence of Gujarati Chaulukya architecture. It has a square garbhagriha (shrine proper) as well as an octagonal mandapa (dancing hall). Two fairs are held at Galteshwar every year, on Janmashtami and on Sharad Purnima. The temple is visited by a large number of devotees on Mahashivaratri. There are a lot of eateries available near the temple. Changing rooms are also built for convenience of the devotees. ****

Galteshwar is very important in the historic tourism and religious places of Gujarat in the Thasra taluka of Kheda district. This religious place is located at the sangam (confluence) of the Mahisagar and the Galti river. This Galteshwar Mahadev, situated 10 to 12 km away from the famous Dakor’s Thakorji, has more than 25 lakh devotees and tourists visits in the year. Despite the indecisive attempts to complete the incomplete summit many times, this temple is now without the peak.

Ajwa garden is a nice breakout from the city with several rides to enjoy as well as being Instagram friendly. We went on a sunday and it wasnt much crowded ( may be because of monsoon). We paid rs 195 per ticket for entry that included 2 free rides. Waterpark and water rides were not included in that ticket. It was fun visiting the garden. There was electric cycle option that charged rs 100 for 10 mins and was good to get a roy d of the entire park. The food court is nice and cost reasonable. The rides stopped as soon as it started to rain. There were ample parking place at the entry.

Place is awesome to go with friends but there one thing I did feel good that there is low locker facility like out 1k people only 300 or 400 will get locker to store their luggage so that time we waited too much and feel awkward to wait too long and one more thing they allow only swimming suits so don't go with cotton or other material clothes

I’ve been to Essel World in Mumbai and a few other amusement parks, so personally, I didn’t find this one particularly impressive. That said, it’s still worth visiting once—especially if you’ve never been to an amusement park with rides before. It can be a decent experience for first-time visitors or families looking for something light and fun.

This temple is very huge and mainly for Swaminarayan. However, there are other deities as well. The temple is at the bank of Narmada river. The temple has serene vibes and is very peaceful. The architectural design of the temple is marvelous. There is Kuber temple at the other side of the Narmada river which can be reached by boat. There is shoe locker facility. Also, many shops for buying worship items. Big food court is available and having many varieties. There are kids play zone area on the other side of the temple which is also big. At the entrance of the premises, a huge gaushala is located. You can buy pure cow ghee and other products there. Overall it's worth visiting the temple.

Nilkanthdham at Poicha is a spiritual and architectural gem. Nestled on the banks of the holy Narmada river, the temple complex feels serene the moment you step in. The detailed carvings, beautiful landscaping, water bodies, and gardens are immaculately maintained and offer a peaceful escape from city life. The food plaza & prasadalay serve good, affordable vegetarian meals; the shops and rest areas are clean & convenient. Even the walking paths and fountains add to the calm vibe, especially during sunset and night when the lights make the place truly magical. If you plan your visit early or later in the day (to avoid the intense midday sun), Nilkanthdham becomes even more enjoyable. Parking is well organised, and there’s a strong sense of spiritual energy that refreshes the soul. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful spiritual retreat or a family outing

Beautifully constructed temple with water surrounded all around the main temple. The temple complex is huge with miscellaneous stores in the periphery. The temple also gives a beautiful view of river Narmada flowing in the backyard. Toilets are hygienic and parking facility is ample. A GOOD VISIT for family trip.

Nilkanth Dham, Poicha, is one of the most popular spiritual and cultural attractions in Gujarat. The temple, located on the banks of the Narmada River, is admired for its architecture, intricate carvings, and peaceful surroundings. Attend the temple at evening Aarti around 6 pm, when the entire complex is beautifully illuminated with colorful lights, creating a divine atmosphere. 108 Gomukh Snaan aslo available on ground floor of the temple where separate changing rooms also available for both male and female. The premises are generally clean, with well-maintained gardens and a calm environment. Facilities like a food court all types of food available inside and price also worth, guest accommodation with both Ac and Non Ac facility also available, and ample parking also available. suitable for both spiritual seekers and families. Must-visit for its beauty, spiritual energy, and cultural richness, offering a memorable and uplifting experience. Temple ticket price is only 10 rs Lockers also available inside

Excellent religious place. Temple is very big and very beautiful. Must visit place. Those who are visiting Statue of unity must include this place too in their itenary. It's about 40km from Ekta Nagar. Cabs and Autos are available. Better to book it for 2 way. Cab charges are 3000 to 4000. Autos would be 2000 to 2500. If anyone visit SOU on Monday then it's better to plan for Poicha as SOU is holiday on Monday.

The temple itself is beautifully built, and one could easily spend an entire day exploring the place. When we visited, it was raining heavily, so we couldn’t see much around. Because of the rain, we also missed the Sahjanand Exhibition this time—but we’ll definitely come back again to experience it. The food court is well maintained and neatly organized, with dedicated counters for each cuisine. There were separate stalls for ice cream, soda, sandwiches, South Indian dishes, pani puri, dabeli, and even full thalis—both Punjabi and Gujarati. A special counter served Nilkanth Ji’s prasadam, kadhi-khichdi. We tried the Punjabi thali, which wasn’t quite up to the mark, but the rest of the food was excellent. From sada dosa and masala dosa to idli-sambar, pani puri, and French fries—everything was enjoyable. The highlight for me, however, was their vegetable uttappa, which was absolutely delicious!

The EME Temple in Vadodara is one of the most unique and peaceful places you can visit in the city. The temple has a very serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for anyone seeking peace and spiritual calm. What makes the temple truly special is its modern design and architecture. Unlike traditional temples, this one has a distinct structure with symbolic elements representing different religions, which beautifully reflects the message of unity and harmony. The surroundings are very well-kept, with greenery and a calm environment that instantly makes you feel relaxed. Whether you come here for prayer, meditation, or just to spend a few quiet moments, the temple offers a refreshing break from the busy city. Out of respect, we didn't click any pics instead of the temple. 1. The guards were very polite and humble to talk to. 2. There are many sculptures, and I request people not to touch them. 3. The gurudwara is one of its kind. Do not miss it. 4. Peaceful and very well maintained place. 5. You have to submit your identity proof. They will return it once you are done with your exit. There is no charge or fees.

The temple is unique with main deity as Dakshineshwar Shiva in form of Shiv Murti (rather than linga). The temple is located within the premises maintained by Indian Army and hence entry is regulated where you need to carry an Identity Card (License, PAN, Aadhar or such). Needless to mention that being maintained by Army it is very clean and crowd is managed well. The temple premises have various small shrines of multiple gods, Navgraha, Ganpati, Sai Baba, Buddha, etc.

I am visiting it since my childhood. In the heart of the city, one of the oldest temple yet so esthetic, peaceful, calm and positive vibes around. EME (Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Temple) or also known as Dakshinamurthy temple is under the preservense of EME. Hence one of the groupember must submit Photo ID proof with number of person taking entry and vehicle details. After that they'll allow you to take your vehicle in. Dress code: Modest clothing that covers the shoulders, chest, and knees.

Nice Garden Lots of greenery Only negative is that there’s a buggy car with 20 INR per person ride, since no one around they took 100 INR for us 3 as no one was taking buggy. On asking how many minutes, counter lady told 15/18 minutes and once we sat on buggy, in exactly 9 minutes he got us back. We felt cheated but they didn’t bother. Toy Train also had big waiting for train parked and lots of kids and family disappointed

Visit Vadodara and don't visit Lakshmi Vilas Palace, your trip will be incomplete! This is not just a palace, but a living history of the amazing art, heritage and splendor of the Gaekwad rulers of Gujarat. In my opinion, this palace is one of the most magnificent and well-maintained royal residences in India. Architecture and grandeur: This palace was built in 1890 in the Indo-Saracenic style. It is said that this palace is four times larger than Buckingham Palace! Its huge doors, beautiful windows and intricate carvings will amaze you. Interior splendor: The interior work of the palace is truly amazing. The flooring, exotic tiles, murals and colorful glass windows of the 'Darbar Hall' are a sight to behold. The museum section houses a collection of rare items and weapons of the Gaekwad family, which will take you back in time. Vast grounds: The vast and lush garden of the palace gives immense peace. The small golf course behind the palace adds to its grandeur. The atmosphere here is very peaceful and beautiful in the evening. My experience: I have visited this palace many times, and every time I am happy to see the maintenance here. An audio guide facility is also available to explain the art and history inside to the tourists, which is very helpful. This is a special place for families, history lovers and architecture students. Tip: Photography enthusiasts should visit here early in the morning or before sunset.

It was the best experience ever.. such a nice palace Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara..A good, nice palace with equally huge gardens and its own golf course.. they have cricket academy also.. and LVP garba is most famous in here.. Though only a very very small part of the entire palace is open for public display. They have good AV and give you the Device with earphones to listen to the entire history & details about the Palace, its history, Royal Family and many things. It goes on and on for more than 2 hrs. However, we took 1 hour to explore whole palace.. They have a nice small cafe inside..

Visiting Laxmi Vilas Palace is truly a royal experience. The sheer grandeur of the architecture, the beautifully manicured gardens, and the rich history reflected in every corner make it a must-visit. The palace interiors showcase exquisite artwork, ornate halls, and royal collections that transport you back in time. We visited during the weekend so it was a bit crowded. We didn't have to wait in a queue. The security at the entrance n exit guide you with the needed information. The museum inside offers fascinating insights into the Gaekwad dynasty, with displays of weapons, paintings, and artifacts. The Darbar Hall, with its stunning chandeliers and Venetian mosaic flooring, is breathtaking. The audio guide is well-curated and helps you appreciate the heritage even more. The sprawling lawns and golf course add to the charm, and the upkeep of the property is commendable. Entry is well-organized, though prior permission is required for certain areas. Overall, Laxmi Vilas Palace is not just a monument but an experience that blends culture, history, and elegance. A must-see gem of Vadodara. There are some places in the premises that needs a lot of restoration and the exterior needs some renovation work and painting. It rained a lot that day so we had to rush back from the lawn area. Overall a well spent outing which can be completed in an hour or a little more. Photography is prohibited inside the palace

Beautiful place to visit. No regrets. It takes 2 hours to fully explore the palace. The audio guide is included in the ticket. So keep your tickets safely and don't lose them. To collect the audio guide show your ticket in the office administration and tell them the preferred language. The first point of the start of the palace is the statue near the Golf lawn. Don't miss the painting which is at the exit, before that you have to submit the audio guide and take sign.

No doubt it’s a very good place to know about the present King and his forefathers, yet it lacks the lustre. There are huge photographs and some of them have the name of the person written while the others leave you wondering who the person was. If we want to attract more tourists, we must raise our standards. The staff present there should be interactive and wear a smile. Ravi Verma’s paintings are still so fresh and treat to eyes. Golf buggy is a great help and is available at minimum price. The small train which the royal children used to go to school is a treat to eyes. The small restaurant inside is a great help for people, it provides good refreshments. Overall a good experience but better to avoid in peak summers as you have to walk outside in scorching heat. Not very crowded.

This Palace Historical & architectural grandeur The layout, design, and scale of the palace complex are spectacular( some areas r restricted). The courtyards, with lush green lawns sprawling the palace ground is awestriking. The ornate halls, display the preserved woodwork, and painting by the famous artist Ravi Sharma. The museum has Rich collections & exhibits There are themed exhibition halls: calligraphy, painting, ceramics, timepieces, furniture, bronze ware and weapons used to fight wars, etc.The artefacts are rare and could have been better well conserved. The museum has introduced several supportive measures to assist n guide visitors. Accessibility lanes for elderly, for stroller/wheelchair users; is available. It was Overcrowded as we visited during the weekend. Restricted access or closures Some indoor halls/ areas or rooms may be closed off, either for conservation or due to events unknown. Time needed The scale is big. Most people find an hour as minimum time to complete all zones, but to properly explore many parts you may need more time . If you rush, you’ll miss many details. Language / signage / navigation difficulties Is Cleary marked in sections or zones . Some signage is bilingual, others less so. Getting detailed context without a guide or audio guide is harder. So when u get in take an audio guide as per your language preference At the Palace Museum too tickets are available Photography is prohibited . Go early in the day or later to avoid crowds and afternoon heat/sun. In some areas no ventilation. Also there isnt air conditioning so expect it to be hot in some areas. Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll walk quite a bit. We even experienced heavy showers when we went on the grounds to click a few pics. Use a guide or audio guide. They help a lot with historical context. If you like history, architecture, art or culture, The Palace Museum is a must-visit. Its grandeur and depth are hard to match. But go in prepared: plan ahead, allow enough time, expect crowds, and be ready for some areas to be inaccessible. Even with those challenges, many people feel the visit is well worth it.

Art aficionados will love this place. It's a short ride from the palace. If you don't have your own vehicle, you can hire a golf buggy at the rate of ₹25/- per seat. Don't miss the original train engine on display at the museum. The train ran from the palace to the school where the prince studied.
Suresh N — Google review
In case going by own vehicle & buying a combined ticket for Palace & Museum, you may prefer to go back outside to main road & enter museum through other gate. Both properties are on same BIG land parcel, but different gates, There is golf cart available @25 RS (INR) per person to take you from internal road FROM PALACE TO MUSEUM- I highly recommend taking it to get a quick round of the property. But you have to go back for your vehicle. Suggest to visit the palace by Autorickshaw /Ola /Uber. No photography allowed inside, phones have to be deposited at entrance. This was a School building that was remodelled as museum. There are lot of art & sculptures , unique & someone who understands art will appreciate it. There are many royal family photos, statues & portraits The space is not air conditioned. With such a fantastic & rare collection the museum needs appropriate lighting ,temperature & humidity control which is lacking.
Meeta H — Google review
Ravi Verma’s paintings are still so fresh and treat to eyes. Golf buggy is a great help and is available at minimum price. The small train which the royal children used to go to school is a treat to eyes. The small restaurant inside is a great help for people, it provides good refreshments. Overall a good experience but better to avoid in peak summers as you have to walk outside in scorching heat. Not very crowded.

A lost heritage being preserved for next generations (which are left out after British colonial rule). It may feel waste of resources but many of these items are treasure and reminds about history and rich culture. It require lot of funds for maintenance. Gaikwad are great contributors / preserved Indian Heritage. No photography allowed.

One of the best museum for Arts & cultural heritage... You get to know why Vadodara is an Arts & cultural center... You get to know why Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad was called patron, protector or fosterer of Arts & Artists... Raja Ravi Varma was one of the many who blossomed under shelter of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad... This facility also contains art studio of Raja Ravi Varma... Also includes a more than life - size portrait of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad which seems to look & turn his towards us when we move in front of the painting... Also includes many many valuable portraits, sculptures, paintings & arts of many more great artists from India, Europe & all over the world... Maharaja's collection was really great...

I want to share a very positive experience we had yesterday, October 11th at the mall. My family and I visited Inorbit Mall Vadodara around 3 PM for shopping. When we got home, I realized my gold chain was missing. We were very worried and unsure if it had been lost or stolen. We first went back to Reliance Smartbazaar to check their CCTV. The store manager, staff, and security were helpful, but the video was not clear. We then approached the Inorbit Mall team. We spoke to Mr. Jaswant at the Ground Floor helpdesk. He quickly took the details of the chain and pendant and contacted the surveillance team right away. During the wait, Mr. Saleem Pathan from security stayed with us, explaining the process and assuring us that if any Inorbit team member found it, it would be safely returned. His support made a big difference. Within 15 minutes, we heard the wonderful news: the gold chain was found! The video surveillance confirmed that staff member Mohammad Zubair saw the chain during our entrance, picked it up immediately, and submitted it to the management. This incident is a true example of the excellent support from the Inorbit team and proves you have honest and trustworthy people like Mohammad Zubair, Jaswant, and Saleem Pathan. A big thank you to everyone who helped with the surveillance check and the quick process. Thank you, Inorbit team Vadodara! Roshni

A serene and historic pilgrimage just ~30 km from Vadodara. The temple boasts intricate carvings, tranquil gardens, and an underground Moksha Dham that includes Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva Lokas. Built over ancient foundations of Lakulish’s birthplace, it features a unique black‑stone shivling in meditative pose and meditation cave. Spacious parking, clean washrooms, and regular pujas add to the peaceful experience. Ideal for a spiritually uplifting and photogenic day trip.

A Divine and Historic Gem of Gujarat Kayavarohan is not just a temple, it’s a spiritual experience rooted deep in India’s ancient Shaivite traditions. Known as the birthplace of Lakulisha—considered the 28th incarnation of Lord Shiva—this temple is a serene and powerful spot for seekers, pilgrims, and history lovers alike. The temple architecture is simple yet radiates ancient energy. The vibes are peaceful, the surroundings clean, and the priests are welcoming. The Shiva Linga here is unique, symbolizing both form and formlessness—true to the teachings of Lakulisha's Pashupata Shaivism. Easily accessible from Vadodara, this place is perfect for a quiet morning darshan or an introspective evening aarti. You can also explore nearby spiritual sites and lush rural landscapes. Whether you’re a devotee, a heritage traveler, or just seeking some soulful silence, Kayavarohan offers a rare sense of timelessness.

Excellent just love ❤️ this place. This place is owned by Amul company itself. Located just outside the main production facility. Rang Avadhoot Maharaj Mandir, located on the banks of the Narmada River, is a serene and underrated spiritual destination. The mandir's tranquil surroundings and clean ghat for pujan offer a peaceful place for worship. The divine energy and harmonious atmosphere make it a unique haven for devotees seeking spiritual solace.
Avadhoot Chintan Shree Gurudev Datta. Very nice worship of Lord Dattatreya and Rang Avadhoot at this peaceful sanctuary and mandir. Make sure you visit the banks of the Narmada river as well for a heightened spiritual experience. Visited on Guruvar expecting a lot of people but it was not crowded. If you buy Prasad or flowers, make sure you hold on to it tight as monkeys are aggressive and will snatch it away if you let your guard down.

Rang Avdhoot Maharaj Mandir in Nareshwar is a peaceful and spiritually rich temple located by the Narmada River. The calm atmosphere and serene surroundings make it an ideal place for meditation and quiet reflection. The temple holds deep significance as it is the samadhi of Shri Rang Avdhoot Maharaj, and many devotees feel a special spiritual vibration here. The temple complex is clean and well-maintained, though some visitors mention that the riverbank could be better cared for. Basic lodging and food are available, but facilities are simple. The best time to visit is early morning or during sunset for a truly tranquil to experience. Festivals attract large crowds, so visiting on regular days offers a more peaceful atmosphere. Overall, this is a must-visit for those seeking inner peace and spiritual connection.

The Enjoy City - Waterpark & adventure park

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks

During summer who not wants to go in water park?? 😌 Well, i have visited the enjoy city water park last year. Such a nice journey. If you have your own vehicle then you can easily reach at there. But if you haven't your personal vehicle, then you have to travel through local transport and road is very very rough you can't reach at location easily. Road is very much rouff i think this is the bad part of that journey. If i talking about riding at there, such a huge ride like pendulum and other 4 5 floor ride. It's worth to money which you spend there. Also their music system i also like. They have best ride at there but some ride is not there so hope in upcoming time they built new rides and it's canteen is also good. I really like it. I recommend public to go there and take advantage of such a nice Glory of Gujarat. 🥰
Jaydip — Google review
The place looks very good. All rides are fine. But I must say take shower before going into the water park and after finishing, otherwise you may get some infection like skin burning issue or red skin issue. Everything else is fine. Food quality is also good.I enjoyed a lot.

Its okay for one time visit, as rides are open for particular schedule hours. And also not proper kind of cleanliness + management, Yah but for particular price range should be a best choice. They should focus more on cleanliness/neatness/hygeine.

~The Enjoy city is very good place for one day fully refreshing picnic. ~For water rides & slides 5 out of 5. ~natural atmosphere & greenery not as expected. ~adventure park is plus point for enjoy city. ~ adventure park entry fee included with water park tickets but you have to pay extra for some premium rides. ~ food taste was good but it's little bit costly. ~ Out side food is not allowed in water park. ~ overall great experience.

We have visited this Place on Sunday. I got a Negative feedback From my Friend About this water park. But Actually i found this place better. I would personally say if you Visit this place on Vacation Days it would be Definitely Full of Crowd and that's Natural. But if you plan to Visit this place on Non seasonal Day's like monsoon and Winter you would definitely find less Crowd here and you will also enjoy all Rides. Likes : 1 All Rides. 2 Most Like Rides Are Cobra and near to that all Big Rides. These Rides Are Most excited and Paisa Vasool Rides. 3 Advance Booking Facility. 4 Staff was very Cooperative and Kind. 5 Other Facilities Like Baby Cradle Facility is Provided. 6 Food was Amazing. There are all type of Food Available Like Full Dish, Fast Food, Ice cream, Cold Drinks. Dislikes : 1 Price Of Food is too high aa compared to Other water parks. 2 at many places Floor is not proper. The Flooring is Damaged so there is small stone's which may Cause an Injury. 3 Power cut is Many Time during a Day. 4 Amusement park is not so attractive and big. All the 5 paid premium Rides should be keep Free. Overall I would Suggest this water park to Visit once. If you make a booking Advance it's actually very Cheap. This is a good Deal.

Superb Water park Ever.. 👌Huge rides and separate rides for children as well. Wave, Foam shower, Open Rain dance, Closed rain dance with lighting are awesome, Very good facilities for Food and drinking water. > Only need improvement on below points, 1. Water quality is not good, mixed to much dust. 2. Need to reduce space between joint parts of rides which causes the scratches on back. 3. In some closed ride we haven't enjoyed because of total darkness, need to keep transparent sheet in between little distance in whole ride or fit the LED lighting in different colors. 4. Floor Tiles are very sleepy where the building of rides. Also Railings not fitted correctly and somewhere it's broken which causes the incident. Finally, it's superb. Must visit at least once

3rd class 3rd class 3rd class Dirty Dirty Dirty …. Must go through my shared photos. One of the 3rd class water park in Gujarat. There was no any system from starting to end. Tickets process was very difficult. Ticket provider staff was very incapable. We have spoiled 2 hours for tickets. After tickets, there is no any proper system for costume and locker. Price of costume is also high compare to the Best water park Shankus. Water was very very very very dirty. I will never suggest this water park. There was only Lil in the water. Very unhealthy. Walking footpath is also very bad you can see the photos in my review. Changing room and Locker room was very dirty. Door was broken and very dirty. Even dirty than public toilets. Parking was also very bad. They took 50 Rs for parking but I don’t know why there ware talking 50 Rs. Rides waiting are was very dirty. Even can’t stay there due to dirty smell. Very bad experience in my life. They just run the water park for money. I will never suggest anyone. Shankus and Bliss are best water park in Gujarat.

Very bad experience, no maintenance at all of slides and places. Water is also dirty, literaly algae is formed, they dont replace the water after a day. Canel made for boating is also closed. Water is very dirty (green with algae). Electricity is also not stable there. 3 times electricity went off during a day. Food quality served in their canteen is very poor and costly. No sweeper is there to clean the area.
