This sacred site is dedicated to the Jain religious group and houses an immense statue of Gomateshwara. The place is a replica of the gigantic statue of Bahubali at Shravanabelagola, and it is a must-see for anyone visiting Indore.
Bhagwan Bahubali Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra, is a group of Jain temples on the outskirts of Indore and a revered pilgrimage. It was inspired by Acharya Shri Vidyanandji, the complex was built in 1986. There are about 29 temples in the complex. This hillock was donated by the MP government,to the Jain samaj, in 1981, located at Gomatgiri, about 11.5 kms from the city of Indore, in the Bharatiya state of Madhya Pradesh. The Murtis of all the 24 Jain Tirthankaras have been enshrined here including a 21-foot Murti of Lord Bahubali. This is yet another example of dedication and artistic craftsmanship. There is a small breakfast place as well. Also meals are available between particular times. You can reach here via Public Transport as well from the City.

The Shree Bijasan Mata Mandir is one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in Indore. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Bijasan Mata, who is considered one of the incarnations of Maa Durga. You can see maa durga's nine forms here, and the temple was built in 1760 by Shivaji Rao Holkar.
This temple dedicated to Bijasan Mata, which is located near Airport Indore, a small Lake and garden also available in this place. You can also seen airport runway from this place. Very nice place for spending quality time with family or friends.

Anything that is slightly outside of the city, has a vibe of its own. A serene temple on a slightly elevated area. If you are using battery rickshaw, then you will have to climb the hilly road which is about 200-300m only. I found the view of the city to be nice and peaceful as compared to other temples in the city.
A K — Google review
The Temple Committee has done a great job. The Temple is well maintained and has been made it easier for the darshan. A devotee must visit and get blessings of Mata Ji. If you do not like crowds then avoid visiting on Navratri. Otherwise the waiting time is not that high.
Sourabh S — Google review
A small temple is a bit up in the hill but you can take your vehicle there. Please keep the place clean when you visit 🙏

A very good temple, situated atop a small hillock, close to airport. A well maintained temple, 9 other sub temples are there. Great views

The place is really good. The temple was good too and there was a small pond and seating area though still in making stage but it’s quite peaceful if you wanna hang out or just chill a bit there. The place is half covered with a small forest area where you can hear peacocks and other animals. If you want a chill peaceful place you can definitely come here to spend some time may it be alone or with friends and family.
Rachit — Google review
One of Indore’s most popular temples, especially during Navratri. Clean, well-maintained and spiritually uplifting. Sunset views from the temple are truly breathtaking.
Anubhav R — Google review
Great pilgrimage place. One of the oldest temple of Indore. One must visit this place. A lot of snacks shops also available at the way so in case you feel hungry, that's shouldn't be an issue here. Also for people and senior citizens who have problems in walking, don't worry, you can take car and park at a point which is present 100m before the temple, just remember you've to talk to the concerned authorities / security guard present at the entry gate. They've also added water jet along the temple path which in fact attracts more people, so overall a nice place to go over weekends l.

Persons from all over India as well as foreign Tourist come to see this temple. Very beautiful temple and famous in Jain's Community.

I recently got a chance to revisit Kaanch Mandir on the auspicious occasion of Dhoop Dashmi, and it was an absolutely divine experience. The temple, made entirely of glass and mirrors, looks stunning on any day but on Dhoop Dashmi, with beautifully crafted Mandal Ji, its beauty and spiritual glow were truly beyond words. The temple is located in the main market area, so I’d recommend visiting by public transport or two-wheeler for convenience, as parking space is limited. If you’re in Indore, this sacred place is a must-visit - the artistry here is truly a masterpiece. – Muskan 🙏

This stunning Kanch Mahal Jain Temple, dedicated to Bhagwan Mahaveer, is a true marvel of artistry and devotion. Every inch of its walls glitters with mirror inlay, glass mosaics, and hand-painted depictions of Jain stories. The intricate craftsmanship reflects both spiritual depth and aesthetic brilliance. Standing inside, surrounded by light and reflection, you feel an aura of peace, divinity, and timeless heritage. A sacred place where devotion meets dazzling design — truly an unforgettable experience.

A beautiful temple which is a must see to admire how beautiful glass work is used to make this. They don't allow photography in to maintain the decorum of the place. They are very strict about it too.
Maleeva R — Google review
This early 20th-century Jain marvel is an architectural feast, with literally every surface—walls, floor, ceiling, and pillars—covered in intricate glass and mirror mosaics. Step inside, and the reflections create a breathtaking illusion of infinite idols! Be prepared, though: while the artistry is stunning, the place is showing its age and could use better maintenance. Also, don't be surprised if the security staff seems a bit curt. Regardless, this shimmering wonder is a must-see for its truly unique beauty!

Echoes of Time — Rajwada, Indore By Musafir Nama (@Rana’s Photography) Indore wasn’t just another stop on my official trip — it turned into a walk through history. Before heading back to Delhi, my curiosity led me to the heart of the city — Rajwada Palace, a place where every arch and corridor whispers stories of the Holkar dynasty. As I stepped inside, the air felt different — heavy with heritage, yet peaceful. The long corridors echoed with the footsteps of the past. The stone arches stood tall, as if still guarding the royal memories etched in them. Each turn revealed symmetry, strength, and silence — a reminder of India’s architectural brilliance. Descending the narrow stone staircase felt like entering another era — dimly lit, mysterious, timeless. And when I finally stood in the courtyard, looking at the magnificent façade, I could almost imagine the royal gatherings that once filled this space with life and laughter. Travel isn’t always about distance — sometimes it’s about depth. Rajwada reminded me how every city has a soul, waiting to be heard. 📍 Rajwada Palace, Indore 🎥 Captured on an unplanned detour 📸 @Rana’s Photography ✨ Keep wandering. Keep feeling. — #MusafirNama

Rajwada Palace, Indore – A Grand Portal to the Rich Legacy of the Holkars Visiting Rajwada Palace in Indore is like stepping back in time to an era of royalty, artistry, and cultural grandeur. Built by the Holkar dynasty around 1747 AD under Malhar Rao Holkar, the palace stands as one of Indore’s most iconic landmarks. 🏛️ Architecture & Design The palace is a magnificent seven-storied structure — the lower three floors made of stone and the upper floors crafted in wood. This blend of materials gives it a unique charm while showcasing traditional Maratha, Mughal, and French architectural influences. The grand arched gateway, beautifully carved balconies, jharokhas, and large wooden doors add to its royal aura. 🔥 History & Restoration Rajwada has witnessed multiple fires over centuries, the most severe during the 1984 riots, which damaged many wooden sections. It was lovingly restored in the 2000s under Maharani Usha Devi Holkar, staying true to the original style using traditional materials. The gardens, fountains, and statues of Maharani Ahilya Bai Holkar now make the palace surroundings even more inviting. 👀 What to See & Do Inside, the small museum displays royal artefacts, weapons, paintings, and heritage items from the Holkar era. The Darbar Hall and Ganesha Hall sometimes host cultural programs and exhibitions. Outside, the bustling Khajuri Bazaar and local street food stalls bring the old city of Indore to life. ℹ️ Visitor Info & Tips Timings: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (approx.) Entry Fee: Very nominal (around ₹10) Best Time: Morning or evening hours for pleasant weather Carry water, wear comfortable shoes, and plan to explore nearby markets. 💬 Final Thoughts Rajwada Palace is a beautiful blend of history, architecture, and local culture. Its restoration preserves the essence of Indore’s royal heritage. Walking through its gates, you can feel the pride and grandeur of the Holkar dynasty. A must-visit for anyone exploring Indore — whether you love history, architecture, or simply beautiful places.

The Annapurna Temple is an ornate Hindu temple in Indore, India dedicated to the goddess of food, Annapurna. Thousands of pilgrims and tourists visit this shrine every year, drawn by its imposing facade and gilded gate.
This temple is dedicated to Maa Annapurna and stands out for its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere. The structure is single-leveled, but its beauty lies in the intricate details that adorn every part of it. The temple is supported by numerous finely carved pillars, each featuring beautiful architectural engravings that reflect traditional craftsmanship. Constructed entirely with white marble, the temple walls, pillars, and boundary are adorned with delicate carvings of various gods and goddesses, especially from the Malwa region’s artistic style. At the heart of the temple resides the deity of Maa Annapurna. The inner sanctum offers a peaceful and calming environment, making it an ideal place for meditation or quiet reflection. The marble flooring adds to the soothing vibe, encouraging visitors to sit and absorb the divine energy of the space. From the outside, the temple is equally captivating. Especially during the evening, it is beautifully illuminated with white and blue lighting that gives the entire structure a divine and ethereal glow. The temple is not just visually impressive, but also thoughtfully designed for visitor comfort. A dedicated footwear stand is available to the left of the entrance for safekeeping. Within the same temple complex, there are several smaller shrines, including one dedicated to Lord Shiva. I also noticed a covered well, suggesting that the temple has historical roots and has likely undergone renovations over time. Interestingly, the temple is usually not very crowded, which allows visitors to fully appreciate its spiritual and architectural charm in a calm and peaceful setting.

Lal Bagh Palace

Lal Bagh Palace, a lavish 19th-century mansion of the Holkar dynasty, showcases a blend of baroque, rococo, and neoclassical architectural styles. This three-story palace has been transformed into a grand museum featuring Italian and Indian paintings, exquisite chandeliers, and furnishings reflecting early Georgian and late Persian designs. Spanning across 28 hectares of land, it stands as a testament to the opulence and culture of the Maratha kingdom.
Very great palace to know about the Holkars dynasty. The architecture was mix of European and Indian mix. The interiors are very posh and royal, however there were renovations going on in the palace. Once it is complete, I am sure it would be a must visit place in Indore. The entry ticket for adults is Rs. 50 and for kids it is free entry. Ample parking space and good greenery around the palace.
Vishnu C — Google review
My experience was quite good, but to get there you first need to bargain with the auto drivers. They will ask for ₹100, but you should only give them ₹20. They will tell you that the gate charges parking fees, but in reality, the parking is only ₹10. The place is not very far from the gate, so you can also go by walking. As for inside, you won’t find drinking water there, so it’s better to carry your own water bottle. The entry ticket is just ₹20. There isn’t much special inside the palace. However, it’s a nice place for couples—it’s peaceful, surrounded by forest, and you can sit quietly and talk. But if you are going with your family, then you won’t really find it that enjoyable.
RAVI K — Google review
Lal Bagh Palace is one of the most fascinating heritage gems in Indore, and my visit here was an unexpectedly rich experience. The moment you step inside the massive iron gates, imported from London and said to be inspired by those of Buckingham Palace, you instantly feel the grandeur of the Holkar era. The palace was built in phases between 1886 and 1921 by the Holkar rulers, mainly by Tukoji Rao Holkar II and III, and it served as one of their important residences. Knowing that you are walking through the same corridors where the Holkar royal family lived makes the visit even more special. The interiors are the real showstopper. The palace has a strong European architectural influence, especially Italian and French styles. The grand ballroom, with its large Belgian mirrors and ornate decorations, is absolutely breathtaking. One interesting fact I loved learning about is that the ballroom’s floor was designed with springs inside so that it would vibrate with the rhythm of the music during royal dances something truly ahead of its time. Another surprising feature is the European-style elevator, which was installed more than a century ago! Seeing such engineering in a palace of that era is genuinely impressive. The walls, furniture, chandeliers, and artwork, all reflect the luxurious lifestyle of the Holkars. Every room seems to preserve a piece of history. The palace also sits on a beautiful 28-acre estate, and although some areas outside could use better maintenance, the overall charm is still intact. The museum section displays old photographs, royal artifacts, weapons, and personal belongings that give insight into the Holkar dynasty’s cultural legacy. What I personally found most interesting is that Lal Bagh Palace used to host major diplomatic and royal gathering, it wasn’t just a residence but a symbol of Indore’s power, culture, and openness to global influences.
Hemendra D — Google review
This is a grand palace with a lot of European architectural influence. But it has its own pros and cons. Pros: Beautiful architecture and high ceilings (I really like buildings with high ceilings). Massive garden area in the premises. And since Indore doesn’t have a lot to offer, you can visit this to pass time. Cons: It’s under renovation for restoration work. Most of the palace is inaccessible. There is not much to see with what is accessible. If you have visited a lot of museums and palaces, you won’t enjoy it at all. Ticket price is only Rs 20 pp.
A K — Google review
I am disappointed and feeling cheated. The Lalbagh Palace is under renovation but they didn't tell me this before I bought the high priced ticket (400) for foreigners. Only a few ground floor rooms are accessible, other ones are closed. The garden is poorly maintained and littered, the toilet is broken and dirty. When I asked why the renovation wasn't mentioned, they said it is written. Yes, in Hindi. Why they couldn't write that two words: "Under renovation" in English? Waste of money and time. This high entry fees for foreigners, the constant discrimination, will not develop the international tourism.
Eva M — Google review
Lalbagh Palace at Indore was built by the Holkar Dynasty. The Holkars resided in the palace up to 1978. After the demise of Tukojirao Holkar(III), his granddaughter Usha Raje set up a trust to look after the estate. Later, it was brought under the control of State Government. It is a lovely palace to visit and has some beautifully decorated rooms which are very similar in architecture to what you see in Windsor palace. So whenever you are planning a trip to Indore, do visit this iconic Palace, and fall in love with its wonderful architecture. Owing to its real royal feel, Lal Bagh Palace has remained one of the favourite Bollywood shooting location. Many movies like Kalank, Singh Saab the Great and Mahal (Tamil Movie) have been shot in the palace. Date visited : 22.10.2025

Beautiful palace. Restoration work was in progress when we visited on 2nd Nov. 2025. Once restoration written is completed, interiors of the palace should look fabulous. Worth a visit if you are in Indore.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Maa Vaishno Dham Mandir in Lal Bagh, Indore, is a captivating homage to the revered Vaishno Devi temple of Jammu. This stunning shrine dedicated to Goddess Shakti draws countless devotees who seek spiritual solace and blessings. The temple features an intricate design with artificial tunnels leading visitors through a serene cave that houses the idol, creating an experience reminiscent of its original counterpart.
Maa Vaishno Devi Temple is a very beautiful temple. When you go here, you will definitely feel that you have come to the real Vaishno Devi temple because they have built the Vaishno Devi temple very well. When you go inside it, you will feel like you are going through the mountains. Yes, it is artificial. But it will definitely make you feel like going through the mountains. You will feel very good. You must go here and have darshan of Mata Shri Vashno devi.

It is free to enter. Good to kids too, nice vaishno Devi temple. Parking is there. No heavy rush, but plan if any special day.

This is a nice and clean temple. The design of this 🛕 is very nice. Though it is beautiful it is not for senior citizens, as you have to use stairs. If you are not comfortable in closed places, please avoid this place, as the design includes caves. You have to walk through a cave-designed path and then you will enter a temple, then again you have to use a cave to pass through to Maa Vaishno Devi temple. The place is quiet and beautiful. A must-visit place in indore.
Jitu M — Google review
Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir at Lal Baug is a peaceful and spiritual place in Indore. The temple is beautifully built, and the idol of Mata Rani gives a strong feeling of devotion. The atmosphere is calm, well-maintained, and perfect for spending some quiet time in prayer. During Navratri, the temple is especially vibrant with decorations and devotees, making it a divine experience.

One more famous place, where you can visit in Indore... it is little small replica of Maa Vaishno Devi Temple, Jammu. You can feel here cave patters way to reach at main temple. Very perfectly managed by trustee and staff. Normally no rush in ordinary days, except in Navratri and Weekend.

Government Buildings
Gandhi Hall, originally known as King Edward Hall, is a historical building in Indore, India. Constructed in 1904, it showcases impressive Indo-Gothic architecture with elaborate windows, minarets, and domes. The facade is made of white marble and red stones and features a unique clock tower on all four sides. After India gained independence in 1947, the hall was renamed Gandhi Hall in honor of Mahatma Gandhi.
We have organized an Internship Fair by IndoriX. Had a great experience with the place. It is calm, and relaxing, and you can find multiple events happening here in weekend.

Beautiful Architecture with a Historic Vibe. Gandhi Hall in Indore is a stunning piece of architecture with its old-world charm. The place has a historic vibe, making it perfect for photography or just appreciating the design. It's well-maintained, but could use a little more care in some areas. Overall, it's a great spot to visit for anyone who loves history and architecture.
Mayank P — Google review
Constructed in 1904 by the acclaimed architect Charles Frederick Stevens from Mumbai, Gandhi Hall was initially named King Edward Hall. In 1905, the grand opening of the hall was officiated by George V, the Prince of Wales, with a total cost amounting to ₹2,50,000. The architectural style is Indo-Gothic, featuring white stones from Seoni and red stones from Patan, both in Madhya Pradesh. In 1948, H. H. Yeshwant Rao Holkar II renamed the hall as Gandhi Hall in honor of Mahatma Gandhi after a gap of 50 years. The recent renovation under the ‘Smart City Indore’ project in 2021 restored the hall to its original grandeur. The interiors now boast marble flooring, a wooden stage, captivating paintings on the walls, and a meticulously restored clock tower.

A good looking building with a lion slide that kids may like. The inside has good architecture but they don't allow you in often. In the lawns people are practicing plays or hanging out. Can be skipped if you are on a tight schedule as there isn't much to see and do here. Parking is also expensive at the pay and park nearby.

Nehru Park, formerly known as Biscoe Park, is a popular attraction in Indore. It's not only a beautiful green space but also a haven for birdwatchers due to its fully-grown fig trees that attract various bird species. The park is also home to the Chidiya Ghar zoological park, where visitors can see exotic flora and fauna and even rare animals like the White Tigress with her cubs.
It's one of the oldest gardens in the city, and it's always fun to be there! 🌳🌸 It's like going back to childhood. 👧🏻👦🏻 Now, it's undergoing renovation, and it's a great experience to be a part of it! 🛠️👷🏻‍♀️ #CityGarden #Renovation #ChildhoodMemories

It’s a Park and I will give stars for that. But it’s a pity that a “Smart City” like Indore cannot maintain it. You have to climb a wall to get in, all the old play structures and rides are rotting in the corners, and the “grass” is outright dangerous with steel coming out of the ground. Props to the train. Gotta wonder where the money is going? Anyone knows???

The mall on the main road has top shopping brands like central , H& M , nykaa ,sugar ,zivame , trends, etc. for shopping. It has a food court also on the 4th floor but not so many options . On the first floor , CCD is there . Not very spacious but well maintained.
Khushboo S — Google review
I recently went to "TI NEXT," and I had a great time overall. The mall is home to a wide range of shops, from distinctive boutique stores to well-known clothing retailers. The variety of shops was impressive, and I spent hours just exploring my options after being impressed. The mall also features a fantastic food court with a wide variety of options for a quick snack or a sit-down meal. It also has a separate, cozy space with plenty of books and manga for book lovers. A pleasant shopping experience was had because of how neat and well-kept the mall was. It was clear that the staff took pride in keeping the mall looking its best, and I appreciated the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and organization. I have one minor complaint: sometimes, especially on weekends or during busy shopping hours, the parking lot can be a little crowded. However, this mall has great open space compared to others, so I was still able to find a spot fairly quickly and didn't have to travel far to get to the mall entrance. Overall, if you want to have a wonderful shopping experience, I would definitely recommend. It's a great location for a day of shopping and entertainment because of its large selection of stores, delectable food court, and clean and well-maintained facilities.

Nexus Indore Central (formerly TI Next) receives positive reviews for its variety of top brands, diverse dining options, and well-maintained, spacious layout, although some note that parking can be crowded during peak hours and the food court, while offering many choices, might feel small to some visitors. Reviewers highlight the INOX movie theater and the presence of a children's play area as significant attractions, though opinions vary on the value of cinema-related food purchases.

This is a mall with many shopping shops. It has one theater as well that is Inox. It has a food court on the 4th floor which has diversified food options and shops. The mall has top brands like H&M, Mac, Forest Essentials, crossword, market 99 etc. It got renovated and earlier was known as Central mall. It is centrally located. Parking is not a problem.

Really very cool palce as it is small than TI mall. But then also it look so attractive. It has biggest showroom of H&M in Indore. It's stairs have AI (artificial intelligence ) it operates when person come. It consists of four floor in which third floor has food area and Inox. Really very good. One interesting fact about TI next is that most of the people also called it Central Mall. So you may remember this name if someone didn't understand you may use other name.

Holkar Stadium, a gem in Indore, is renowned for its remarkable record of hosting Team India without a single loss. This venue has witnessed unforgettable moments in cricket history, including five One Day Internationals and two Test matches. The stadium, originally named Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground, was renamed to honor the Holkar dynasty that once ruled the region.
*A Fantastic Experience at Holkar Stadium!* I recently had the opportunity to watch the thrilling match between Australia and New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium in Indore, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The stadium's electric atmosphere was palpable, with a crowd that was evenly split in their support for both teams. *Match Highlights* The match itself was a nail-biter, with Australia posting a formidable total of 326 runs, thanks to Ashleigh Gardner's record-breaking century (115 off 83 balls) - the highest score by a number 6 batsman in Women's ODI World Cup history. New Zealand's chase was valiant, but ultimately fell short, with Sophie Devine's century (112 off 111 balls) not enough to secure a win. *Stadium Experience* The Holkar Stadium itself was impressive, with excellent facilities and a great viewing experience. The pitch offered good pace and bounce, making it exciting for both batters and bowlers. The weather was perfect, with moderate humidity and no interruptions. *Overall* If you're a cricket fan, I highly recommend catching a match at the Holkar Stadium. The energy of the crowd, combined with the high-quality cricket, makes for an unforgettable experience. Kudos to the stadium management for creating such an incredible atmosphere !
Jaisingh Y — Google review
Visited Holkar Stadium, Indore in March 2023 during the India vs Australia Test match, and it was an exciting experience overall. The ground is relatively small, which adds to the thrill — boundaries come easily, making it a high-scoring and entertaining game to watch live. However, the stadium facilities could be better. There was no music system or DJ, which made the atmosphere feel a bit dull compared to other major stadiums. Some improvement in crowd engagement and overall vibe would really enhance the match-day experience. Still, if you’re a cricket lover, it’s a good place to catch a match — just don’t expect a high-energy stadium ambiance.
BeingYourself — Google review
Holkar Stadium in Indore is one of the best cricket stadiums in India, known for its great atmosphere and exciting matches. The stadium is not very large, but that actually makes it special because every seat gives a clear and close view of the field. The crowd energy here is amazing, especially when India is playing. The facilities are well-maintained, and the cleanliness inside the stadium is usually very good. The sound system and big screens also help you enjoy every moment of the game. The staff members are friendly and helpful, and the entry process is usually smooth if you come on time. However, there are also a few negative points. During big matches, parking becomes a serious problem as the roads around the stadium get very crowded. Food and water inside are quite expensive compared to outside rates. Sometimes the seating area feels cramped, especially in the lower stands. Also, mobile networks often get weak during full-house matches. Overall, Holkar Stadium is a wonderful place for cricket lovers. It provides a lively experience and makes you feel proud of Indore, though it could improve crowd and parking management.

This contemporary mall boasts an impressive array of well-known retailers alongside a bustling food court and a state-of-the-art multiplex cinema. After undergoing extensive renovations and reopening in December 2015, it has become a favorite spot for both shopping enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
The mall is really good and well-maintained. It has a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options for everyone. The place is clean, spacious, and nicely organized. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff are helpful and courteous. It’s a great spot to shop, dine, and spend quality time with family and friends.

Treasure Island Mall is a decent spot if you're looking for a quick shopping spree or a casual hangout. The mall offers a good variety of brands, and the food court has multiple options to satisfy your cravings. It's centrally located, which makes it easy to access. One nice feature is the game zone for kids — it’s a good place to keep the little ones entertained while you shop or relax. It’s not very large, but it has enough games and activities to keep kids happy for a while. However, the mall feels a bit cramped on weekends, and the parking situation can get frustrating. Some areas could definitely use better maintenance, and a few shops remain empty, which dulls the overall vibe. It’s a good place for a casual visit, but don’t expect a luxurious or very vibrant experience.

Nice place in the heart of indore. It gives great history details about The sculptures, the photos , coins , and weapons. Amazing to see such great things which are forgotten by future generations. Once must see and show to the kids about such great history. Charges 20 per head which is not much expensive to experience the things there.

My experience at the museum was really good. Got to see few historical things and we had @amay.gite with us, so it was a great experience as he shared the history behind the coins, copper plates and inscriptions that we were looking. Few things could have be improved like they have placed coins sticker instead of original coins, they have made charts just like a 5th class school project. This could be removed and a more detailed and enhanced things could be placed for a better study. You would get a lot of things from Maratha empire period specifically Holkars and Shindes there Canons, coins, guns, etc. Overall Good experience

"Beautiful and well-maintained museum in the heart of Indore. Great collection of sculptures, coins, paintings, and artifacts from prehistoric to Holkar era. Entry fee is very low, and the place is peaceful for history lovers. Takes around 1–2 hours to explore."

Average museum. The antiques have been placed without any mention of details. Toilets are dirty. No guides. But the antique are treasure. Dept must include audio guide or physical guides.

The Central Museum in Indore is a treasure trove for history lovers. It showcases ancient tools, sculptures, coins, and weapons from the prehistoric to medieval periods, especially from the Malwa region. Highlights include Parmar-era statues, rare inscriptions, and tribal art. The massive Ganesha idol at the entrance is stunning. The museum is peaceful, well-maintained, and informative, making it ideal for students and curious minds. Though simple in layout, it offers a deep glimpse into India's rich cultural past. A visit here feels like time-travel through centuries of heritage. Perfect for a short, meaningful cultural experience in the heart of Indore.
Samarth S — Google review
I have seen high school exhibitions more detailed than this, it’s quite sad that we call this a museum, yes there’s a lot on display but much of it seems hand drawn by children, we boast of rich heritage yet none of it is highlighted anywhere. It all feels very random, like just a display and not a museum. I wish they included the story behind exhibits instead of just writing coin next to coins and swords next to swords, there’s no narrative being set. Honestly a collaboration with a school where they put in the missing material and story will improve the museum by many times.

Another important temple to visit in the holy town of Dewas, if you're here to pay obeisance at the Maa Chamunda Devi mandir. Kaila Devi mandir is located just 15-20 minutes away from the former. Apart from Rajasthan's Kaila Devi who's the presiding deity, there are numerous other temples located to other divinities.

Jai Mata Di. Kaila Devi temple is a major Piligrimage site and tourist attraction in Dewas city. During the time of both Navaratris various activities like Bhagwat Ji and Kathas were organised by the trust run by the temple association. Once upon a time a great fair was organised here but after sometime that was stopped. Jyortirlinga Mahadev temple, Maa Vaishno Devi Cave, Maa Durga Statue (41 feet), Shri Hanuman Ji Statue (51 feet), and Maa Kaila Devi temple are the major attraction of this place.

Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary is a hidden gem just a short drive from Indore city. It's perfect for a short trek or a peaceful day out in nature. The trekking trail is about 2.5 km and takes around 30-45 minutes to reach the top, where the historic Shikargah (hunting lodge) built by the Holkars awaits you. The panoramic view from the top is simply stunning, especially during the monsoon and winter seasons when the greenery is at its peak. The sanctuary is home to blackbucks, leopards, and a variety of birds, although animal sightings are not guaranteed. More than the wildlife, the beauty of the trees like teak, bamboo, and eucalyptus makes the walk very refreshing. If trekking isn't your thing, there are e-rickshaws available to take you up. Entry fees are reasonable, but facilities like restrooms and drinking water are limited, so it's better to be prepared. It's a great spot for nature lovers, photographers, and even families looking for a quiet escape. Nice place to visit. Need moderate climbing mostly using steps. Serene nature. Worship place for locals. But best of nature's experience. Better to carry own food.
Shridhar K — Google review
Shivdham cave has a lord shiva temple situated near Salbardi. The caves are on hill with 3km one side trek to top from base of hill. Trek intensity is not that hard but if you are new trek then i would suggest to carry some energy drinks and water and take enough breaks while doing trek. For school and college crowd is very easy trek. Steps are there but some of them are bit higher in height. Suggested timing - morning 8am till 5.30pm in the evening. CAUTION ⛔️- Some shop owner near base of hill told that climb down before sunsets as few people have experienced weird things late in the evening. There are no specific proofs as such with me so not giving further detailed information on this. However the hill area is like a forest one and might have some sort of animals so better finish climb in day time to be on safer side. Monkey are there on the way of trek so be careful and dont carry any food items with you. Inside cave temples there is bhadhji or bramhin who can get your abhishek done in ₹100 per person if interested.

Best placs fo visit situated in MP near the MH MP border. Difficult trek. Takes it around two hours to reach on top. Poor mobile connectivity those who are visiting from Maharashtra. Lovely scenic view at the top. Historic cave of Lord Mahadev. 🕉 Dense forest.

A historical place one must visit. Its history related to pandavas. Cave is situated on top of mountain. U must carry water before start climbing there.. there is water on mountain, but sometimes its not available.. Shiva temple is inside that cave. Nice weather. U'll get crowd during mhashivratri week there.. at that time temple is open 24hr. Otherwise go before 5pm if u want to enjoy the place.. photography lovers go to the morning.. Overall must place to visit at least once. Specially history lovers must go!

If you are visiting salbardi then please read the history about it....it had great history... Salbardi according to the 1961 Census has a population of 129. It is an insignificant village about 8 km. (5 miles) north of Morsi on the border lying partly in the tahsil of that name and partly in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. It holds an important position in Hindu mythology. Legend connects it with the abode of Sita when she was deserted by Rama, and to have given birth to her two sons Lava and Kusa. They were taught by the Sage Valmiki after he had been reformed by Narada, who released him from his entombment at Salbardi. The twins are said to have caught the horse Syamakarna let loose by Rama when he performed the Asvamedha Yajna. A battle was fought between Rama and his three brothers, and his sons Lava and Kusa. The former were defeated and left unconscious on the battle-field and being told of these happenings, Sita arrived on the scene and recognised, Rama, Laksmana, Bharat and Satrughna. A great union took place and Rama acknowledged Sita and his two sons Lava and Kusa and were taken by him to Ayodhya. Salbardi is situated on the " Madu river ", and is celebrated on account of two springs, one very cold and the other hot or decidedly tepid. The springs flow into a small stone cistern which was formerly divided into compartments for the hot and cold water. The water was recently analysed, and reported as containing sulphates and phosphates in small quantities, unfit for drinking but probably useful as a wash for skin diseases. Colonel Meadows Taylor records bathing here in 1857 and says that the waters gave his malaria temporary relief. As might be expected, the place contains several spots of mythological interest, particularly the bath or Nhani of Sita and an underground temple of Mahadeva in a natural cave; also some images cut in the natural rock. A hill close by is crowned with a rough stone fort known as Babu Khan's Killa after a famous Pendhari who occupied it. The fort can still be seen though now it is almost in a crumbled position. Near this place B. Hira Lal has discovered two Buddhist viharas or monasteries consisting of spacious halls and rooms all cut out of rock. One of them contains a headless image of Buddha, now worshipped as a Devi with vermilion and water. The Betul Gazetteer gives the following story about the village: "A small village about 71 km. (44 miles) south of Baclnur on the Madu river. A cave in a hill by the village, approached through a long narrow passage, contains an idol of Mahadeva. It is believed that an underground passage leads from this cave to Mahadeva hill at PancmadhI and it is said that Mahadeva put two thousand goats into the passage at Pancmadhi and only one came out at Salbardi. It is said also that a hole in the hill leads down to the cave and that this hole was made by Bhimsena so that he might see Mahadeva better. There were also hot and cold water springs here, but those have now become mixed. A temple on the hill contains a headless image of a Devi and a pool of reddish coloured water is supposed to be tinged by the blood that fell from the image when its head was cut off. An annual fair is held here in March, on Mahasivratra day and lasts for three days, and is attended by about 5,000 persons, nearly a hundred temporary shops being opened for the sale of goods. In the village is a quarry of hard stone from which mortars, cups and cooking slabs are made. There is also a quarry of limestone". Drinking water is obtained from the wells. A mixed primary school gives education up to 3rd standard. Morsi is the bazar place. Salbardi is named from its abundance of sal trees and the stony character of its soil. Other than that there is muktai temple and beside the temple there is two muslim kabar are there must watch...

It's a nice devotional place from long ago. Shivling cave situated on top of mountain and is deep about 100 meters underground. Surrounded by green forest. Loving for trakers and Nature lovers. 1.8 kms approximate to climb from village Salbardi situated on border of MP and Maharashtra. Rainy days and winter are Best season to go. Safe with group but must return before sunset. Also avoid to go in Maloo river, some peoples lost their lives there.

Nestled about 60 to 65 kilometers from Nagpur, Khekra Nala Dam is a hidden gem within the enchanting Pench forest region. The journey to this picturesque destination, especially during the monsoon season, is a delightful experience as you traverse through vibrant green fields and dense woodlands. Once you arrive at the dam, you're greeted by breathtaking views of a sprawling lake surrounded by lush hills that create an idyllic backdrop for relaxation.
Khekarnala dam is around 60 - 65 kms from nagpur via patansaongi - khapa-badegaon. This place is part of pench forest region in the dense forest. A travel particularly in monsoon season is really enjoyable when we pass through green fields all over roads, ghat area, and dense forest. From the dam the view of the large lake and lush green hills all around is fascinating.

The way to this place is beautiful, however as you reach the destination there is not much to do, no particular activities or things to do. It's a very casual place for either taking a walk or jog. You can see good view from a high above point and click great pictures of nature. There is a rocky hill to climb, through the forest, a great place for a casual treak. However there is no place to sit, insufficient parking space and very narrow roads. It's difficult to navigate at night as there are no street lights whatsoever. You will find ducks, chickens, wild pigs and some wild scorpions around. There is a restaurant at the beginning of the track to refill and freshen up.

If you need a quick getaway from Nagpur, into the amidst nature and lush greens, this place in the outskirts of Pench Tiger reserve is a suitable place. Approximately 60 kilometres from the City. Roads are nice, most of the part is Highway. Winter is preferred.

So, it's good. But to make it easier to understand, I'll break my review down into pros and cons. Pro's 1) It's good & Huge 2) The beach and wave pool are fantastic. It gives the impression of being on a man-made beach. 3) New slides with some limitations will be discussed in the cons section. 4) The amusement park provided an enjoyable experience, despite the recent painting of the Giant Wheel and the presence of numerous rides. Cons 1) It is concerning that the water quality is not being adequately maintained, as my family and I have experienced severe itching issues that we have not encountered at other water parks. 2) The wave pool and rain dance combination is an interesting concept, however, the wave are like super weak. 3) New slides are good but only for ladies & Kids, and men are not permitted to use them 4) The cleanliness of the water in the adult slide area was a cause for concern, as it appeared to be rather unhygienic. Considering the significant cost of approximately ₹1300 per person, it is essential that the water quality and overall maintenance of the park meet the expected standards. Failure to do so diminishes the value and enjoyment of the experience for visitors.

Visited Fun N Food Village, Nagpur recently. The best part of the visit was definitely the amusement park – the rides were fun and well-maintained. The water park was also enjoyable and a good place to relax with friends and family. However, the major letdown was the food - both breakfast and lunch were very poor in taste and quality. If they improve the food, it would make the experience much better overall.
Prem.k — Google review
My experience at Fun and Food Village, Nagpur was very disappointing. The security arrangements were extremely poor, and there were many boys under the influence of alcohol, which made the environment uncomfortable for families. Although the staff behaviour was good and they were helpful, the overall management was terrible. The swimming pool was not clean, and most of the slides were under maintenance, which ruined the fun. Even the swimming tubes were punctured, and we had to fill air again and again to use them. Overall, a very bad experience — not worth the money or time.

Must visit if you are near Adasa town. The premise of temple is beautiful. We always visit this place whenever we are at saoner. Its just 20 mins drive from saoner. They also have big paid parking space. And after darshan, there is a zunka bhakar area which is a must try.

The swayambhu Ganesha idol is magnificent—huge monolithic stone statue, and the surroundings are very peaceful. Beautiful views from the hillock, good facilities, and a lovely spiritual vibe. The complex has many smaller shrines, clean premises, parking facility, shops and toilets. Gets crowded during festivals, but still a great experience. Must-visit if you want spiritual peace plus a beautiful location. Highly recommend visiting early in the morning!🙏

Monsoon is the best time to capture the most out of it - Bina Pani Ke Kya Jheel fir Good option for a short trip from nearby areas. Maintenance could make it a great picnic spot. Having your own vehicle would be a plus to avoid any concern. Except for a few small vendors, only a restaurant is nearby which may be fine for snacks and beverages. You may freely park your vehicle at an available area which is enough to cater for everyone. Getting the blessings from Ganesh Temple is a must. Follow my Insta & YT - @namaskarwalaladka

A beautiful and peaceful place to relax, surrounded by nature. The view is calming, especially during sunrise and sunset. A nice spot for morning walks, family time, or just sitting quietly by the water. The area could be maintained a little better, but overall, it’s a refreshing escape from city life.
Prashanth N — Google review
Do not go during rainy season, the lake gets fully filled with water and there's no place to sit and put your legs inside the waters. You may go during the summers, early in the morning before the rest of the crowd appears. The place is okayish, but the drive to that place is amazing! There's a temple too, you may want to shower before you go.
