Bhimbetka is the oldest evidence of paintings and habitation by early humans in the Indian subcontinent. The Bhimbetka paintings date from the Upper Paleolithic period (approximately 40,000 BC - 10,000 BC) to the historical period (first millennium BC), suggesting that the area was inhabited for a long time. Approximately 650 caves in Bhimbetka are painted, but only 15 are open to tourists. Animals are predominant in the Bhimbetka paintings. According to one study, 29 species of animals are depicted, including elephants, rhinoceroses, lions, blackbucks, and wild buffaloes, which are not currently found in the region. Sixteen colors are used in these paintings, with white and red being the most prevalent. Animals are depicted either independently or in hunting scenes. Some paintings may have had ritualistic purposes. Human figures are depicted in geometric patterns. Dhupgarh (Dhoopgarh), Pachmarhi’s highest peak and the best spot for sunrise and sunset views in Madhya Pradesh. Surrounded by the lush Satpura hills, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of valleys, cliffs, and dense forests. Many visitors consider it the most beautiful point in Pachmarhi. Entry is only allowed through gypsy/jeep rides booked from Bison Lodge Museum, as private vehicles aren’t permitted. The ride itself is scenic and adventurous. Once at the top, there are two main viewpoints—Sunrise Point and Sunset Point. Sunset is especially popular, when the sky glows with golden and orange hues over the green valleys. The place is calm, refreshing, and ideal for photography or simply soaking in the natural beauty. Monsoon adds misty charm with clouds floating around, though sometimes it blocks the view. A must visit place if you're in Pachhmari. It's at the height of 4420ft from the sea level. The views from here are mesmerizing. You don't need to climb here, the safari vehicle (you have to book it from Bison lodge) will take you to the top and then you can roam around and have some pictures. While going up, you'll find an echo point where you can scream your name and in return you'll hear the same echo. Overall it's worth visiting. Note: People generally come here in the evening but I suggest you to cover this spot during the day itself (If you need to leave at the evening time for your home). Because, the rush in the evening is very high. Sunset, you can cover in the Pandav Caves. (Ask your driver for more information)

In the midst of nature there lies this fall with immense natural beauty. Although not advisable for very small kids, Senior citizens and heart patients, as there are 400+ steps ro reach there and then come back. Be careful of monkeys and Bees ( rare instances). When u go down and i witness the flowing water in the lap of nature, it's a worth visit.

How to reach- buy advanced ticket and jipsy to reach there. With personal vehicle you have to park it and around 2km journey to be done by walk only. As Name bee fall came from there is huge amount of honey bee comb on trees around the waterfall. But the catch is that they didn’t harm to anyone. Better to visit in monsoon to get huge volume of water there. Greenery and vibes are strong. Don’t forgot to eat mangoes if going by walk in season. I went by walk which was great experience compare to jipsy guys.

Very beautiful waterfall with breathtaking views. It is a home to many varieties of birds and fishes too. You can have a fish spa free of cost here, in fully natural habitat. The waterfall is around 150 feet high and the fresh air has no comparison. It is one of the most beautiful places in Pachmarhi .

No visitor can resist the temptation of the taking a bath in B Fall. Bathing pools here are very popular among the tourist of all age groups. A spectacular fall in the stream which provides drinking water to Pachmarhi. The bathing pools above the fall are very popular. Bee Falls, popularly known as Jamuna Prapat, is a beautiful waterfall that provides drinking water to Pachmarhi. It is one of the most scenic waterfalls of the town that flows into the valley, making a tranquillising sound. Tourists frequently visit the bathing pool, which is situated above the falls.

I prefer the smaller waterfall before the main one, as it’s less crowded and much quieter. The main waterfall, on the other hand, tends to be overwhelmed with visitors, some of whom even bathe with soap and doing risky things which will cost their life. There was only one food stall available, and I noticed a lot of monkeys around. It's important to be cautious when eating, as they can easily snatch food right out of your hands.

We considered going here out of utter devotion and believe me it gives nothing less. The place is hauntingly beautiful, surrounded by serene huge mountains and quite a walk of like a kms. Up and down the hill. Just before reaching the place of worship there are quite many stairs to go down. So beautiful careful with elders and kids there. Easy to get lost so do move in groups together. They have good parking space around so not an issue there.

The Jatashankara temple, located deep inside the Panchmari Tiger Reserve, is one of the most fascinating and spiritually significant places I have ever visited. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds many mythological stories and local beliefs that make it truly special. To reach the temple, one has to descend many stairs, as the temple lies within a natural cave, embraced by rocky hills and flowing spring water. The atmosphere inside is cool, calm and naturally wet, giving it a very peaceful and spiritual feel. Around the temple, you'll find many small shops selling Ayurvedic products, including Shilajit and local herbs. However, I personally chose not to buy them, as I wasn't sure about their authenticity. A fun fact -- if you climb those stairs daily, you'll surely loose weight and body pain, thanks to the steep descent and ascent ! Overall, Jatashankar Temple is must-visit spot in Panchmari for both devotees and nature lovers. The combination of mythology, natural beauty and spiritual peace makes it truly unforgettable experience.

Also it is advisable to hire a guide here ( Charges ₹150-200 for a group), as the guide will tell you the story of the place and will also show u many hidden beauties of the place, which one may miss without someone's guidance. Further itvis advisable to not take small kids / Senior citizens and people with some serious health ailments as one has to go deep inside the valley crossing a long path and 150 steps and then come back. Jatashankar Temple, Pachmarhi, is a serene and spiritual destination nestled within a natural cave, approximately 1.5 km from the main bus stand. The temple is renowned for its limestone cave formations, including stalactites and stalagmites that resemble Lord Shiva's matted hair, earning it the name 'Jatashankar' . According to legend, it is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva concealed himself from the wrath of Bhasmasura . Visitors can explore the cave's cool interior, which houses 108 naturally formed lingams, and admire the ceiling's formation resembling the hundred-headed serpent, Seshnag . The swayambhu Ganesha idol is magnificent—huge monolithic stone statue, and the surroundings are very peaceful. Beautiful views from the hillock, good facilities, and a lovely spiritual vibe. The complex has many smaller shrines, clean premises, parking facility, shops and toilets. Gets crowded during festivals, but still a great experience. Must-visit if you want spiritual peace plus a beautiful location. Highly recommend visiting early in the morning!🙏

Very nice and beautiful temple in nagpur. It is situated on the Station Road in Nagpur, Sri Ganesh Mandir Tekri is a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple boasts of rich architecture; the idol of Ganesha can be seen seated under a tree inside the premises of the temple. Tekdi Ganesh Temple is said to be 250 years old. The shrine of Lord Ganesha is believed to be self-existent, and its size is increasing over a period. During the early years, Tekdi Ganapati Temple used to be an ordinary shrine with a tin shade and a small platform.

Situated in Nagour, Maharashtra, Tekdi Ganapati Temple is an ancient and famous temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh. The temple is built on a hill hence the temple got the name Tekdi Ganesh Mandir. Initially, the temple was built on a small platform. The construction of the new temple started in 1978 and was completed in the year 1984. The temple started with just a tin shade around the idol which is believed to have appeared by itself (Swayambhu). The temple is also very popular as it's is believed to be a 'Jagruta Devasthan' (Awakened). Also, the idol was originally very small and it is believed to have grown in size with time.

Pench is the land of The Jungle Book and is famous for Mowgli and its Bagheera (Black Leopard). The black leopard is actually present in the Park but is very hard to spot… Amazing Pench!!!!

Entered from Turia Gate. Safari Starts at 6.45 AM after official formalities. The Safari lasts for about 4.30 hours. There are several interesting points near the Pench river. Scenery is eyegasmic. Many birds. If you are after Tiger Sighting ONLY, you may be disappointed. But if tiger is just one of the options and you are willing to enjoy every bit of jungle, then you will be a satisfied visitor. There is one ALIKATTAS restaurant which serves Aloo bonda for ₹20 each and Tea ₹25. This basically provides a place to have your own breakfast and use washroom. I saw regular animals like dear, jackals, Peacocks etc. But I enjoyed the scenery, the birds chirping etc.

Into the Wild – My First Jungle Safari Experience Let me take you on a journey—not just any trip, but a dive into a completely different world. A world where humans are only guests, and the jungle rules in all its raw, untamed glory. This was my very first experience witnessing wild animals in their own home—the dense, mysterious jungle. Our group of 10 adventurers set out from Mumbai towards Nagpur, eager and curious. Three safaris awaited us: one through the lush greens of Turiya Gate (nestled on the Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra border) and two more via Khursapar Gate in Maharashtra. These two gates may belong to different states, but they open into the same vast stretch of wilderness—untouched, majestic, and brimming with life. Our first safari was in the late afternoon—anticipation ran high, eyes scanning every rustle in the bush. While tigers played hide-and-seek, revealing only glimpses of their tails and backs through our binoculars, we were still enchanted by other creatures: elegant deer prancing through the foliage, curious langurs leaping between branches, the powerful Indian Gaur, and a stately Sambhar deer, quietly grazing. Some moments were too distant for our cameras, but vivid in our minds. As we divided into two gypsies—five explorers each—our convoys merged with a line of others at the gate, engines humming with excitement. A safari typically lasts 3–4 hours in the afternoon and up to 5 in the cool stillness of early morning. And let me tell you: patience is your greatest ally here. While deer and langurs greet you early, spotting a tiger is a true test of will—and luck. Our second safari began in the magical hush of dawn. At 5:30 AM, we set off toward Khursapar Gate. After over two hours of searching and holding our breath at every sound, we spotted a tiger’s face—but once again, it was only through our binoculars, far away and teasingly brief. But then came the third safari—the one that turned everything around. At 3 PM, as the golden light of afternoon began to spill through the canopy, we returned to Khursapar. There, by an artificial water pond, she waited—Tigress B2. Majestic, calm, and powerful. As if that wasn’t enough, her cubs began to appear one by one, walking slowly toward her. We didn’t need binoculars this time—this was up close, heart-pounding, eyes-wide-open magic. We watched, awestruck, as all five tigers—mother and her four cubs—chilled in the water, basking in the sun like royalty. As sunset approached, they began to move—time to head home. And just then, right near our path, they crossed the jungle road in front of us. That moment—five wild tigers walking into the twilight, just meters away—was the closest, most thrilling encounter I’ve ever had. Our guide quickly fired a burst of shots, capturing what felt like a once-in-a-lifetime scene. In our earlier safaris, we followed fresh tiger paw prints, reading the jungle like a storybook written in dust and leaves. We also learned to trust the jungle’s own warning system—sharp alarm calls by deer and monkeys that signalled a tiger’s presence. It was wild intuition at work, and our guide explained it all with wonder and respect. And yes—we even paused mid-safari for breakfast under towering trees, sipping hot tea as the forest whispered around us. That’s something no five-star hotel can ever match. Here’s What You Need to Know: • Book in advance, especially in summer (or post-monsoon October)—your chances of spotting tigers are much higher. • Bring a DSLR or long-range camera—some gates like Khursapar don’t allow phones out during the safari (they’ll be locked until you return). • Rent binoculars—they’re game-changers for distant sightings and are available at the gate. • Go for at least 3 safaris—don’t put all your hopes in just one! • Avoid plastic—only glass or steel bottles are allowed inside. On my way to Pench Tiger Reserve from Nagpur International Port, we passed through Ramtek and visited Ramtek Sriram Temple in mid September 2025 The temple is located in a fort at approximately 1500 ft and is a picturesque location with a large lake on one side and green hills and valleys on the other side. The temples located inside the fort complex are grand and spiritually elevating. You feel blessed. The fort also has an imposing structure with deep cliffs. The pathway to the temple is also comfortable. The only distraction disturbing the serenity of this beautiful place are too many shops especially eateries right up to the fort gate. Inside the fort complex there are monkeys which devotees feed with comfort. There is a proper assigned place inside the fort prior to temple main entrance for shoes but generally people step out their shoes at fort gate itself in a haphazard manner giving a discomfort picture to this beautiful location. This place really deserves a visit where it is believed that Lord Rama took 'Tek( Rest)' during his vanvaas or ' Tek ( Pledge)' to demolish demons disturbing the peace of the surrounding area.

Had a great experience visiting Shri Ram Temple & Fort in Ramtek. The temple is peaceful, and the view from the top is absolutely amazing. You can see the lakes and greenery all around. The climb is worth it, and the vibe inside the temple is very calming. The fort area and old stonework add a lot of character to the place. Definitely a good spot for a short trip or weekend outing.

It gets its name from Sri Ram of Ayodhya, who took a Tek or a Vow here to rid the earth of Asuras. It can also mean the place where he rested for a while during his southward journey. Earlier this hill was called Tapogiri, which literally means the hill of Tapas or the place where a lot of sages perform Tapas. You may think why only this place? Well, this is where Agastya Muni had an ashram and Sri Ram visited him during his 14-year exile. We know from Ramayana that during his journey through the forests of India, he killed many asuras. This relieved many sages and saints who used to have their ashrams in the deep forests.

The grand and ancient temples of Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman are very attractive. Their architecture and the carvings on them are also very beautiful. There is also a temple of Bajrang Bali here. The view of Ramtek city from the fort temple is very beautiful.

Reaching here is extremely easy from Nagpur Via AH 44 and NH 753 in about 1-1.5 hrs. You enter the beautiful gate of this temple at the foothill right on this highway. Go here to experience calm and composure of Lord ShreeRam in the very air. Stone temple and fort will amaze you in many ways. Few points to remember: • Generally not very crowded if you go early in morning. • Beware of the monkeys, they’ll snatch food from your hands. (Even Lotuses and garlands for god) • Do not click pictures inside the temple. • Don’t forget to eat- Kachha Chivada, Bor, etc. on your way down. • Please don’t dirty our heritage.

This place has developed in last 2-3 years to such an extend. Earlier I was just a lake but now they have introduced water sports like boating, water speed bikes, family boats and paddling boats. Also there are good food serving hotel in the vicinity. You also get stay facilities in the range of 1000-2000 only which is really affordable. These people also offer get-together packages for families and corporates. Good view. Nice place to visit!

Waited in this area of #umredkarhandlawildlifesanctuary for the bigcat movement. Continuous alarm calls happened for almost 2 hours. Turned out there were tiger cubs in the bushes playing together. The grass was too big to spot them. Ended up seeing nothing. This is the beauty of a jungle; tiger that was hardly 50 to 100m away and yet was not visible. Umred Karhandla is a beautiful forest no doubt about it. But the major con is it is either a tiger (or leopard) or nothing! Today's sightings - 1. Momentary sighting of a leopard 🐆 2. Indian Bison Female (and a calf) 3. Sambhar deer (only one) 4. Spotted Deer (herd of 4) Couldn't capture any photos as the jungle was very dense and animals here were very shy. Will visit here again very soon!

Today we had morning safari here. The morning safari starts at 5.30 am. Weather was beautiful. The jungle was more beautiful. Nice place to visit every quarter for jungle lovers. Sighted the tigeress but since all 18 gypsies started running and due noice of all the visitors couldn't get the photos since she ran away in deep forest. All facilities are available at this gate which includes parking, was rooms, tea and breakfast points and lunch also. Loved this place...

The jungle safari experience is kind of ok. This scantuary has less number of animals as compared to other nations parks. We went during rainy season so even sighting a deer was a difficult task. We didn't even see any peacocks or any other birds. Only thing we saw in safari was few monkeys and butterflies. Overall experience of green jungle was good.

The sanctuary is 189 sq km. It has 10-11 Tigers. And some bears. I visited this place on 14th February. I didn't get to see tiger. Only saw 2,3 deers. 2 peacock, 3 pigs, 1 owl, and neel cow. (bison in English I think). So, ultimately it was totally not amusing much. Its so dusty. You will find tons of brown dust all over you. You cannot escape that. You have to take bath as soon as possible. People did found a mother and 4 tigers of 3 months on 10th February. Also on 13th February they found 2 tigers near border. Don't know how true was that. Because I didn't get to see any animals inside the jungle in whole 4 hours of safari. No elephants here. And just monkey's. No rabbits. No dogs. No snakes.

Excellent, well managed tiger reserve. I'm a regular visitor and ice always found it well managed and helpful staff manning the vehicles. Of late visitors coming in late often want the game drivers to aggressively maneuver for a better photo. Hopefully this is a one off observation and game wardens discourage such practice. India has a great record with tigers and people should be more patient and respectful of tiger habitats

If you are keen to sight tigers then make sure you get a good guide and a naturalist. The jungle offers a lot of variety with respect to flora and fauna, birds and other animal species - to name a few rare ones - wild dogs, wild boars, barking deers, badgers, rare birds, etc. However the guide would not tell you anything and everything - their only objective is to get you a tiger sighting. In this process we loose the complete essence of the jungle and a general awareness of the wide variety of species, their calls and behaviours and their adaptations. We got a naturalist in our first Safari which proved out to be extremely awesome and satisfying as he gave us valuable information around the jungle which doesn't meet the eyes of us city dwellers. However, on the second safari, we had a very unpleaseful and distatsteful experience with our guide Mr. Mahendra Meshram. In the 4 hour Safari he parked the gypsy at just one place in the jungle for around 3 hours trying to get a tiger sighting. Despite our insistence to move around and explore, he outrightly chose to ignore our ask and stay at that one point until the end of the safari. The worst part we couldn't sight any tiger despite spending the whole of the safari at a single point. The other gypsies who went past us to tour the jungle area got tiger sightings as well as Cheetah, which are very rare - which made us feel even more bitter. Moral - Beware of such overconfident guides who give false promises of tiger sightings and in general ruin your complete safari. Even the forest department should take cognizance of this and embark on some efforts to educate and train such guides and try to give them a good perspective. Although the tourists maybe attracted to tigers but it is the duty of the local guides to make sure they learn about the forest culture, their unique inhabitants and the rare species and visual treats they offer.

Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is a rich biodiversity park located near Nagpur in Maharashtra. The park boasts of a vast variety of flora and fauna and houses exotic species of animals, birds and plants. The park also has a cottage to facilitate accommodation for the visiting guests which in itself is a unique experience. Besides, it has a temple of snakes located right in the centre of the Sanctuary.

Chorkhamara Gate 1: This zone is known for its dense forests and hilly terrain. It provides a chance to encounter wildlife such as tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of bird species. Chorkhamara Gate 2: Located in the Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, this zone is characterized by its hilly landscape and mixed forests. It offers sightings of wildlife such as tigers, leopards, sambar deer, bison, and diverse birdlife. Pitezari Safari Zone: This zone includes the picturesque Navegaon Lake and surrounding forests. Our trip to Nagzira in March 2020 turned out better than expected. We saw wild dogs (dhols), a female leopard, langur, spotted deer, sambar deer, nilgai, peacocks, gaur, wild boar, owl in the space of three safaris. The Central Indian jungle gives a serene feeling and it was very soothing to experience nature and wildlife from an open Jeep. Our driver and guide were friendly and knew the forest well though we had to often poke them to tell us few things. We stayed at FDCM Nagzira resort and it was quite a unique experience to stay inside the core zone of a tiger reserve. Few people saw a leopard couple at the resort restaurant at night and there are almost always deer and langurs very close to the restaurant.

Went there in last week ie Oct 17 Booked online, morning slot Forest was quite dense and cool, guide was also good, but sad part is was not able to locate many species there. As per discussion with guide if you wanna see good amount of animals than go there near June evening slot.

Very huge forest and it is divided in to two parts the old part is very nice and the new part of the jungle is full of green tress flowers and other plants but very few animals are in the new part of forest . If your new to visit the forest go for the old part of the forest and spend atleast 2 days so that you can enjoy the whole jungle. There is also vary nice facility of resort inside the forest by the government also there are various private resort available in which you can get rooms through online booking. Kaur type nagzira resort. Now days 5tigers are in the forest and various different type of birds you can see in this forest . Most possibility of seeing wild dogs . If your lucky u can have citations of tiger and leopard 🐆. Many of photogenic people came for having great nature pictures . Only come before rainy season during summer.there is more chance to see the whole animals of the jungle.

The mall is a mixed-use commercial complex consisting of shopping plaza, food court, entertainment arena, multiplex and office space.There are so many shops from h&m to miniso.You can come here to chill with your friends as well. Cupid garden is a must go place here.There are so many things to explore ,There is a gaming zone on the second floor which is good for gamers and kids.

This mall is very beautiful from the outside and inside. Luxe and affordable stores inside. Food court is good. I had KFC there, a bit crowded but good nonetheless. The ambience is good. You can take good pictures in every corner. Theatre is there too.

This mall is making few changes in interior that's good without hindering people's activities, I don't know why but now they closed keventers here so last time our only option was CCD and also their food court needs few changes as the quality of Chinese, waffles and other extra couses are not up to the mark either they should bring belgium waffles or in meals they should replace moti mahal from some other meal like lunch box or good bowl. One more enhancement they can do is only BB (baskin and robins) is available inspite "Gianis" Should be provided an opportunity as these are few outlets who provide quality with best prices which most of the people will enjoy in exchange of money. Suta brand which I used to order sarees earlie in delhi is here now though in "zora" It's yet to come.As last Saturday 13 sep I went to Zora and found very less crowd also it has larger capacity but brands are new so no offers for us to enjoy although interior is beautiful but people enjoy crowd at weekends so it will take time for it to develope. Back to magnato clothing brands are good here in my last review I compared amonst other malls in raipur but here I would like few updates in this mall along with its exterior look. I’ve visited this place three times now, and each visit has been a completely different experience. Based on that, I’d recommend going during the rainy season and preferably on weekdays to avoid long lines and parking congestion. It can get quite chaotic inside when it’s crowded, so it’s best to keep an eye on those young visitors. During other seasons, the experience isn’t quite the same. You might notice trash in some areas due to reduced water flow from the waterfall, or sometimes find it partially dry. Overall, though, it’s a peaceful and refreshing spot, especially when visited with friends or family.

Amazing waterfall, especially post monsoon Please note that the road from Rajim is single lane, goes through villages and not so great. The road through Jatmai is great, 2 lane but the last 4 km , after Jatmai is only kachha road, such is worse after rains.

Best place to be in And around mahasamund and Churra. Around 1.5 hour from Raipur. Try to go there just after it rains heavily to see the best of waterfall.

A passenger bus provides transport to and from the temple. In addition to the bus service, visitors can also take a ropeway ride to the temple with prices that may differ. To experience the ropeway, one must wait a large amount of time and a single cable car can accommodate only four individuals, whereas a bus can transport 20-25 people or even more at once. There is a shoe stand available outside the temple for storing footwear. Be cautious of monkeys! Do not feed them anything and if you do, be cautious around a group of them. You can bring bags with you but always remain attentive while waiting in line for the bus or during your tour of the temple.

Maa Tara Tarini Temple is a Hindu temple of Adi Shakti and one of the Adi Shakti Pithas, at the Ratnagiri hills on the bank of Rushikulya river near Purushottampur in Ganjam district of Odisha. It is believed that the Shakti Pithas are the locations where the body parts of Maa Sati fell, after being cut by the Sudarshan chakra of Lord Vishnu during the events of the Daksha yajna. It is said that Tara Tarini Mandir is located where Maa Sati's breasts fell. The temple is one of the four Adi Shakti Pithas: the others being the Kamakhya Temple where the genitals fell, the Vimala Temple where the feet fell, and the Kalighat Kali Temple where the toes of the right foot fell. Chaitra Jatra, also known as Maa Tara Tarini Jatra takes the place of the Hindu month of Chaitra. Devotees believe that getting their children tonsured is auspicious during this period. Hundreds of barbers are kept near the temple to aid the devotees. During this festivity, special Khichdi Bhoga is served to the deities which are later sold to devotees. A very great temple with astounding view. Its a very sacred place and in shape of the Puri Jagannath temple. It needs a ropewaynto get there and its a very exciting journey. It highly recommended. Also just immerse yourself in the view fron the temple, you will be mersmerized.
