Beautiful place to spend a great day.We came here a little worried because it seems in Cesme these type of beaches can be sneaky with prices and services. I’m happy to tell this place is not the case, yes the entrance fee is expensive but all the property is spotless clean as the beach, the staff is not trying to sell you or cheat you into unnecessary things. We think it’s a great value for money if you come all day long not just a couple of hours. The beach and nature it self is so beautiful and the water is so cold even in summer perfect refreshing. I think people who doesn’t like this place are the ones expecting a total different experience, just go to the public beaches where everyone throws cigarettes on the ground and leave dirty behind and you will realize why this place is so good.

It was our first time to visit this beautiful beach… everything was perfect and we had a very good time with our dogs. Staff was so kind and helpful, we appreciate also the owner Mr Vedat and the Manager Mr Selcuk. with good memories we are looking to visit again. Restaurant is nice, cocktails also… well done

We had a Great day today in the flyin Beach Resort. Service is amazing . Water quality is unbelievably good. A little bit cold but amazing. My wife loves it. And you know happy wife happy life;) Try the Pide and the Spezial Cocktails. Best Place for a chilled beach experience. No loud music. Stuff is amazing.

Amazing spot, very nice and helpful staff that make sure you feel good. The beach and water are a dream! Food is really good a well. Music is not too loud. 100% recommend for a relaxing day. Worth the money.

I had a wonderful time at Fly-inn Beach Club. The beach was clean and beautiful, the water was clear and refreshing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious and varied, from local dishes to international cuisine. The music is fun, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. It was the perfect place to spend a summer day with friends or family. I highly recommend Fly-inn Beach Club to anyone looking for a top-notch beach experience in Cheshme (Çeşme). It has entrance fee, the foods price like other restaurants in Cheshme.

We first visited there 2 years ago, the sea, the beach, the management of the beach: all are 5/5. This is BEACH, for real. Might be slightly expensive than others but you will have the best food, great cocktails, delicious food, cleanliness, not overcrowded sea, friendly staff, free parking lot and all of that. Paying 10-20% extra is totally OKAY if you can afford to enjoy your time with peace rather than some other beaches who are rude, discriminatory and charging for parking lot on top of entrance fee.

Greek castles often challenge my traditional concept of what a castle should be — and this one is no exception. After passing through the main gate, you'll be surprised to find that inside are numerous houses, still full of life, preserved from that time. That surprise quickly turns into a moment of realization — of course! Castles were built to protect residents from outside invasions and threats. The streets within the castle walls are steeped in the atmosphere of time. If you sit down with a cup of rich hot chocolate at the small square — the “cultural” center of the place — you’ll feel as if you’ve become part of the flow of time yourself. The narrow, winding streets inside the castle form a maze, but it’s not easy to get lost. There’s a church with a tall bell tower that still stands, and nearby are excavated ruins. When the sunlight hits the walls of the houses, the shadows it casts look like murals. The streets are almost empty, with only the occasional group of tourists loudly voicing their opinions. But if you steer clear of them, you might just imagine yourself walking in another time. This is the most fascinating place on the island of Chios.

This castle…is confusing! The castle fortress is in ruins, and is essentially now occupied by an entire town. The best way to explore this is to walk the entire perimeter and find those random spots of the old castle, town walls, and the restored Turkish Hammam. We spent a few hours exploring the town and the ruins on foot, made for a fun little day in Chios town. The north perimeter facing the sea was a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the ocean…with a 40 foot drop straight down that made me anxious!

There's not a ton to see here. Some old walls, an old bathhouse and various other ruins. There are a couple of cute cafes and restaurants inside.

A very nice experience in the castle. From the outside, it is absolutely beautiful and inside there are some restaurants you can try. Worthy of visit.

Chios Castle area is full of beautiful places to see. The atmosphere is unique and people are very warm and friendly. We especially loved the restaurant with cats — it was a wonderful experience!

Amazing rock beach with picturesque views. Snack bar and handicap ramp available. Take a dip in the cool water, and bask on the hot rocks afterwards it’s almost sauna like. If you’re feeling risky you can climb and jump off the rock afterwards you climb up the stairs past the first half of the beach. Amole parking available.

A very beautiful spot surrounded by striking black volcanic rocks. The sea here is deep, crystal-clear, and perfect for swimming. There’s a small facility where you can grab a beer, chips, or snacks, but many people also bring their own cooler. The beach is equipped with changing cabins and a shower tucked away by the wall. It’s also a great place for snorkeling if you enjoy exploring underwater. Just keep in mind that the beach is entirely rocky with pebbles, so water shoes are a must for both walking and swimming comfortably. Also for parking, there is street parking and some parking spaces tacked away on the way to the beach, in the afternoon it gets pretty crowded so keep that in mind when you start your journey to keep hassle free.

Very cute beach . Non organized but convenient . There is a little place that sells snacks and drinks on the side and very good restaurants all around . The water is crystal clear with black lava stones and the temperature is quite good compared to the other beaches . On the side u will find Fokis beach will offer nice spot to naturist at the far end

Very nice place with black volcanic rocks. The sea was very nice and clear. There’s one facility that you can buy beer, chips and toast. There are changing cabins on the beach but I didn’t notice any shower. It’s very nice beach for snorkeling also. You can go there in the afternoon and enjoy you drink :)

We visited the Mastic Museum today as a family of four and had a fantastic time! One of the nice surprises was that there's no entrance fee for kids, which made it even more family-friendly. The museum is quite spacious — it took us about an hour to explore everything at a comfortable pace. The layout inside is very well designed and easy to navigate, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We learned so much about the history and significance of mastic, from its cultivation to its many uses. The exhibits were informative and engaging, and the presence of real machines on the lower floor (-1) was a highlight! You can actually see how mastic was traditionally processed before being packaged — and even make the machines work. Outside, the museum is surrounded by mastic trees, which adds a lovely natural touch and connects beautifully with the content inside. Highly recommend this museum for families or anyone interested in learning more about this unique and historic product. A truly educational and enjoyable experience!

This museum is absolutely worth a stop. The exhibits are beautifully curated. I loved how the artifacts are explained with clear descriptions, giving a true sense of Chios’s unique culture and heritage. We visited on September 28th when admission happened to be free, which made an already fantastic experience even better.

A truly beautiful experience 🌿 Sometimes we forget the importance of intangible cultural heritage and how national traditions have shaped countries and lived through generations. This museum reminds us culturally, aesthetically, educationally, perfectly. You definitely need to visit if you come to Chios.

Chios Mastic Museum visit is a unique experience. We learned so much about the history and the cultivation of the Masticha product… Also, it is amazing that it has so many applications in Medicine and other fields like Esthetic Dermatology and culinary arts. The curation was exquisite and it was easy to follow. Last, but not least, let’s give an applause to the people working there, who were always with a smile, offering to assist and give information about the products offered to the museum store.

A must see place, where hundred years old tradition meets modern architecture, where you can learn about mastic and its benefits. A place where you can see how mastic industry developed from manual labor to machines. They also have a mastic shop there and they have very good quality products that range from sweets to medicinal use and to beverages.

We are students so we paid 4euros per person. The museum was so educational. Also free parking is close to the museum. I recommend a museum where you can learn everything about mastic to everyone

Medium category. It is interesting in terms of nature, but personally it did not make me come back. It is mainly used by nudists.

One of the most picturesque beaches of Icaria, as long as there are no big waves, but even if you cannot swim, it's worth the visit.

Living beach, with many people who are continuously coming and going. Most of the visitors are swimming and sunbathing nude, but the others don't care about it either. On the other hand that can be difficult to get there, you need to climb many stairs down to the beach - and back or course. Also need to mention I was missing a bar and a convenience room on site :) Update: 2nd day I was there the weather was windy that made huge waves, had no chance to swim. Only a few people were on the beach, 2/3 of them were sunbathing nude. If this disturbs you, I recommend not to choose this beach

Beach is nice but once you walk around you realize you walk in a public toilet. Illegal campers leave behind a lot of trash and human waste around the beach and in the forested area. Locals, listen, save your island and call for action from law enforcement. This image makes me never return and make bad advertisement for your island. You have the power to change this so demand it.

Nice beach with a lot of space to suntan.

Fantastic view and beach but very dangerous because it has many currents and there is a risk of people drowning in the middle of the sea. There is a thick rope for people to grab onto when they enter to the sea. But it is worth taking a walk there just for the sunset and the food there are taverns with a wonderful view of the sea and very tasty food. There is also a lake nearby by the sea. It's a wonderful place! ❤️

When there is no north wind it's one of the best beaches of the island. When there is wind it's the most dangerous beach in all of Greece. The sea currents are enormous and they can easily drift you away without noticing. You can access by foot within 5-10min either by walking down the stairs or by taking the hard route through some rocks if you don't want to get your legs wet before getting to the beach. This is because there is another small lake almost connecting with the beach which you have to transverse to reach it. The waters were crystal clear. The beach is with small pebbles/rocks. There is no bar so make sure you bring your stuff.

A very scenic beach, beautiful and great bar and music. The sea is quite rough due to the location of the beach. Fairly clean and a short walk from a sandy car park.

Kolimvithra is the surfers’ beach of Tinos. From the moment you arrive, you can feel the hippie vibe that makes it unique and attractive. Unfortunately, the pond at the back is quite dirty, which partly takes away from the charm of the place.

This bay is a pearl, but the amount of plastic, fishing net, beach accessories, etc brought by the sea and dropped on the beach is a shame. Filled one bag easily within 5 minutes. How about starting a community beach clean-up? Visitors could grab a reusable bag to collect any litter they come across while enjoying the beach. When they're done, they simply hand it over to the staff, who’ll take care of sorting it all for recycling. A small act that makes a big difference!

REAL “ hippies” would never allow their beach to get this swamped in trash without a fight. Spare a thought for the wildlife that have to live in the pond of plastic at the back of the beach. Remove the issues and naturally it’s a beautiful landscape. Take a bag and leave the place nicer than you found it, and collectively we’ll win. 65kg removed today in 3 hours

Beautiful beach with clear cool water We could see many fish. Beach provides umbrellas only but lying on this kind of sand was comfy enough. They give you pillow though.

A perfect beach on calm days! When it’s not windy, the water is crystal clear, calm, and perfect for swimming!

Was very boho style but if you like it that way I recommend it. There's a shower also and toilet. Only make sure NOT to go on a windy day!

We arrived at 11am and got a 'tent' for 25 euros. By 1pm the place was full so we were glad we got there early. The staff were friendly and there was always someone around to get their attention. Food menu was fairly light, offering tacos, salads, bowls, and skewers. We ordered the tacos and they were really good! The beach itself is nice with fine sand and shallow waters. Also plenty of trees around for shade. Definitely one of my favourite beaches in Tinos.

Very nice and small beach with a small beachbar. The price for 2 sunbeds was 20 euros, 5 euros for one beanbag. The coffe was great though. If it its windy you should avoid it because the sand can hurt you. Recommend it though

Here's the thing with Rochari Beach Bar (aka Alohari): - Quite big beach with decent waters. - Many trees on the beach combined with sunbeds and pergolas (with 10€+ cost). - An all-day place in which you can relax, have breakfast, some kind of lunch and cocktails. - Really fast and cook service. We never waited for our order more than the regular waiting time. - Younger audience in general, not that much of a kids beach. - Plenty of parking space available - Overall great experience, with Panormos right next to the beach bar if you want to continue for a fish dinner by the sea. So, why 4 stars: It' 40 mins from Thinos Chora (city center). Even though it's maybe one of the best (organised) beach experiences, it's quite far to make it your every-day beach if you live near Chora. That's all. Enjoy!

Good beach with a good view. The staffs are for friendly. Tmyiu can rent your beach bed for 2.50 euro or you can bring your own beach towel to sit or lay down. They also have hammock and cabana to choose from. Have beach volleyball court. The orange juice and Fredo Espresso is refreshing. Go early to get a convenient parking. The staff tried their best to clean the beach and get the rubbish floating in the sea which came from other places. <3

Chill place with music. There 2 small bars, for cocktails and for juices ( and some dishes to taste). Easy going ambience. The sea and beach are okey, not the paradise but like the rest of the island’s beaches.

This was a really nice museum and doesn’t take long to view everything. I felt it was worth it and met this amazing lady who Pkays the lyre.

Very nice exhibition and very interesting. The location is very atmospheric. It was really worthy the visit passing by the village of Pyrgos. You can understand the history of the place and admire the beauty of sculpturing the marbles. I totally recommend to pay a visite passing by in order to admire the man’s craftsman’s.

So interesting with excellent videos and curation. Great to learn about the crafting of marble through the different phases of Greece’s history. After the museum be sure to explore the gorgeous town (3 minute walk away)

Great small museum with lots of detail and explanation of the marble industry and its history in Greece. Good descriptions in Greek and English. Worth the 4 euros ticket and 45 minutes or so to visit.

Such a nice museum. If you like marble and culture, you need to check this out. It’s a pretty small museum and to walk around will take you around 20-30 minutes maximum.

Modern art isn't necessarily our thing but it's a very well regarded gallery and very beautiful inside. We went for the Takis 100 exhibition, it's well laid out and actually really interesting. 10€ well spent, actually.

Excellent home for modern art, paintings and sculpting , installations from a variety of foreign and local artist of this century and the one before. Currently hosting in the rolling exhibitions, Mitaras paintings. The permanent part has local artist Dobros, and variety of installations from Takis and Zogolopoulos and others. Only pictures from the part that was permited to shoot, presented here and are property of their creators and all rights reserved by them and their anchestors, foundations e.t.c.

Really amazing, not a big fan of arts but it was very interesting, So even if you're also not a big fan of arts you should visit it too. The items at the exhibition were magnificent. Don't miss the documentary movie at the entrance/exit floor (same)

Both Buildings had only the temporary exhibit. Given the location, small Greek island, the museum was really good and big.

Great exhibition of Mytaras, but I was very disappointed about the building: it stands on a privileged point of Chora by the sea, but it has no windows at all! What a waste of a wonderful view that could have been combined with great art. You feel like in a basement. It’s quite claustrophobic.

A true gem and one of the best experiences on the island! Dimitri has lovingly restored this small olive press museum, bringing his family's legacy back to life. His storytelling is engaging, funny, and moving, offering a fascinating insight into both olive oil production and his personal history. The museum’s small size adds to its charm, making for an intimate and memorable visit. Perfect for spending 1–2 hours, would highly recommend and we would return if we were ever to come back to Andros

This is something that should be considered as a unique experience. It's a story telling via personal experience about how family history comes together with olive oil and restoration of this ancient olive mill. It gives an extra apart that the owner tailors each tour. Size of the museum does not matter, you walk away with great knowledge and really personal touch which often nowadays is lacking. Check the opening times in advance.

What a fantastic museum this is! Dimitris is a wonderful guide, he is so passionate and knowledgeable. He gave us a splendid tour, we learned so much and it was so interesting and fun. Highly recommend!!!

This museum is very cute, interesting and personal. The owner runs the tours himself and he is very proud of what he had put together. You can learn a lot about olive oil and you get a feel for the central role it plays in the Greek (and Mediterranean) culture and the importance for its people. It is also interesting for (teenage) children.

Dimitri the owner of his family oil mill was terrific, lots of history and technical information about how things work. The 400 year old building is a very unique structure with architectural stone arches. No entry fee but donations accepted.

I've visited this museum today and it's easily one of the best experiences I've had in a museum even though it's quite small. The owner and restorer, Dimitri, guides you around the mill and tells you about the history of olive oil and the procedure of making it. The coolest thing about it is that after he restored it himself after the mill being abandon in 1960, he and local farmers and his parents made olive oil there and he documented the whole thing for everybody to see. A very interesting museum even for people who normally aren't interested in olive oil. Definitely a recommended visit.

I took my PADI Open Water lessons here. Amazing team of people, Nikos is the best instructor! We also did the island scuba/snorchelling trip and it was incredible.

Booked 2 separate boat ride trips of diving and snorkelling to Petalioi islands and Archabolis with Kyriakos. Great service, safe and fun! It's a wonderful experience if you want to explore the island and remote beaches along with some historic facts! Definitely recommend!

Went on a snorkeling trip today — it was fantastic! The guides took us to some stunning islands, truly beautiful. The snorkeling was really well organized, and we both had a great time — my boyfriend, who’s an experienced swimmer, and me, even though I can barely swim. We saw so many fish! The last stop was a gorgeous white-sand beach — absolutely amazing. Overall, I’d totally recommend it! 👍👍

Nice beach with quite dirty sand but still worth to visit (via boat from Merichas 14 euro both ways). Unfortunately the only place to eat or have water is closed. Also a gate to the church on the hill is closed at the moment and not possible to open it unless you climb the rock fence.

The road to the beach isn’t as bad as people say! You can get there with a regular car – it’s just a bit narrow and unpaved, so if you meet another car you’ll need to coordinate a bit, but with caution you can definitely go with a regular car. No need for a boat, even though lots of people will tell you otherwise The beach is amazing.

Not easy to reach by car as some 200 meters are very narrow even for one car! As there were more the 60 boats and yachts the water was not clear so the swim was less 3 seconds! But this piece of stand land is amazing!

Avoid at peak season (mid August) if you like quiet and not too crowded beaches. Otherwise nice sandy beach , good for swimming and SuP when the wind is northerly

A beautiful special beach with clear water. Unfortunately, due to the closeness of Athens, there is a lot of boats here especially on the weekends. It can get very crowded. There is more pleasant beaches on the island close to this one, so you don’t necessarily need to stay where everybody is staying. On the north western shore there is a little side beach that has a volcanic thermal spring with clear 38° water just on the beach. It is almost hidden and you can only see it when you are walking on the beach.

A place of unreal beauty. For sailing enthusiasts, this is a great place. For many the beginning of long tours and for some safe place and excellent protection from all winds. We have been many times and every time we approach Kolona beach we feel the same charm from the beginning.

Short, picturesque hike to a very ancient and historic statue on a Kea hillside. The road to get to the little parking lot is quite rough, but the parking lot has some shade under large trees, plus a beautiful water fountain.

Allegedly ancient lion which looks more like a seal. Easy to walk path. Steep steps to get to it - not wheelchair accessible however you can go around the path without issue.

Difficult to get to, do not follow Google maps in a vehicle. Walking be careful little or no signposting, G Maps can be deceptive. As it is a twenty minutes walk from the village in hot weather particular caution is advised.

The Lion of Kea, also known as the Lion of Ioulis or "Liontas," is an ancient, enigmatic sculpture located on the island of Kea in the Cyclades, Greece. Carved from the native slate bedrock, this monumental figure is approximately 8 meters (26 feet) long and 3 meters (9 feet) tall, and it dates back to around the 6th century BC.

Great walk from the city, just a few minutes away, and very nice views back on the city. The lion itself also very nice to see 👍 we did the walk early morning, nobody else there, and sun nicely rising

I was a little disappointed when I finally arrived at the statue's location! It was not what I expected, because i didn't see any pictures of it before i go there! The trail was very beautiful though!

Beatiful beach with crystal clear shallow water ideal for kids. You can either get the sunbeds for 40€ or set yourselves in the free zone which is to the left as well as to the right from the beach club. There is a nice restaurant and bar serving delicious food and good drinks.

This beach bar has nice food good service and the atmosphere was amazing. The beach itself was super clean and barely any rocks.

While it’s nice to have beach loungers, they are absolutely overpriced at 40 euros per set, the umbrellas are not all high quality meaning there are pieces missing and therefore not providing full sun coverage but the water is the biggest reason for why you shouldn’t come to this beach….the amount of trash in the water was shocking, pieces of plastic, paper, etc. it was the least clear I’ve seen of any ocean water in Greece. The restaurant attached is fine for a meal but I wouldn’t bother with this beach

They do NOT let you move the sunbeds! If you want shade, then tough luck. You pay 40 euro to stay in 1 spot in the hot sun. There is also lounge music on the beach which again is unlike any other beach in Kea. Noisy, rude staff, rigid and nonsense rules.

Tried to move the sunbed 1-2 meters in the shadow since it was very sunny and I was denied by the staff under the reason that all sunbeds should be in line. I find this rude. Left immediately. This is the opposite of greek hospitality and leisure vibes. Don’t recommend.

You cannot move the 40 euro sun lounger in the shade. Rude staff, not worth it, there are much better beaches on this island.

Mind the parking! The beach is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, but the parking is only legal in the lots in the small town of Skinias. The spot we wanted to stay at was about 30m walk from the tavern. When we left, at about 8 o'clock, 6 police officers were giving out tickets and confiscating license plates. At least 30 cars were missing their plates, so be careful! The fine is at least 80 eur and you get your plates back in 30 days. The beach has golden sand, almost no pebbles, lots of shade from trees and the beach was not crowded at all, on a Saturday. The water is warm, very clear and very calm. A person who is taller than 1.5m can easily go 50m out and still be able to touch the bottom.

Perfect non serviced, long and wild beach close to Athens. Very shallow and clean water. Plenty of space on the sand or underneath the pine trees and mostly not crowded at all. Parking during summertime can be a little difficult as the old parking spots were closed

fantastic sandy beach with pine trees for shade. does get busy at weekends

Beach was great, our Little Man loved the sand and water was clean. We rented an umbrella and sun-chairs from Γλάρος Ψαρι Ταβερνα. €5 for each of us but you get a small bottle of water and a €5 drink credit, which I found to be a great value. The bar is walk up only but the bartender was very good, fast and nice. Didn't try the food at Γλάρος but we will be going back to try it as they have tables out on the sand and what I saw looked tasty.

Such a great experience!😍 Instructors Stefanos and Kosras did their best for my education and training so I could feel myself comfortable under the water...right after the first lesson I became a confident diver and without any fear dived with others. Strongly recommend this school for everyone who always wanted to start but had some doubts - here you'll be in reliable and professional hans. The world of diving really worth it!!!😉👍

It was wonderful!! It was our first time, and although we were nervous at first, the instructors helped us with everything and made it easy! It was totally worth it. Beautiful experience. Highly recommend :)

I found this dive center purely by chance while looking for safety equipment to have on board. We found the door closed, but there was a contact phone number. We called and spoke with Stefanos, who explained all the features of the equipment we needed, which he delivered two days later. Everything was of top quality. Stefanos then invited us to do a test dive with the equipment, but unfortunately, we didn’t have the time available. A month later, we had to make a technical stop at Olympic Marina and got back in touch with Stefanos. We did two excellent dives, followed by an iced espresso. In addition to being a great instructor, Stefanos could also make a great barista. If you enjoy diving or want to try it and happen to pass through Lavrio, don’t miss the chance to visit this Dive Center.

5 stars with a tone at Planet Blue Diving Center. Stefanos is a truly professional trainer. Always patient, always explanatory, never tiring to repeat and answer questions to make sure you have absorbed the necessary knowledge. Prioritizing safety and always with a lot of humor, keep it up!!!👍

Perfect experience! Stefanos and Zac were amazing instructors and made our first scuba diving experience just perfect.

The trip was about an hour and a half from where i'm staying.But after you get out of the hustle and bustle, the trip was awesome. A lot of places you could pull over and take pictures or just pull over and go down to the shore. The temple itself was twenty euros, which seemed kind of high.But I did have a good time and got plenty of pictures.

The temple is beautiful, but the tickets are a little expensive for how much time you can actually spend here. This is definitely one of the best places you can watch the sunset from, though. We went on a semi-cloudy day, and even then the sunset was stunning. There is also a cafe that is nice to take some time to relax at, since if you're staying in Athens it is a bit of a drive.

A beautiful place in itself, but the unjustifiably high price of €20 made us turn back and take a free walk in another part of the peninsula, where the views were just as breathtaking. Is the price of watching the sunset — even next to such a stunning temple — really comparable to the entrance fee for Mycenae, Corinth, or Epidaurus, where, in addition to the ruins, you also visit a museum and get a wealth of information? A highly promoted tourist spot — deservedly so for its amazing views, but not for its price.

Well worth the visit. Beautiful spot for sunset or sunrise just pity cant buy tickets in advance and so creates lenghty lines to get in . One desk to buy tickets . Bathrooms another long line for ladies especialy.

This place is just magical during sunset.🌄 It was actually raining when we got there and just before the sunset at 18:30, the weather turned. There was also a beautiful rainbow🌈 Don't buy tickets in advance due to weather conditions, so just buy on the spot.

Visiting the Temple of Poseidon was an unforgettable experience. The temple itself is truly majestic, standing tall for more than 2,000 to 3,000 years and offering a glimpse into the grandeur of ancient Greek history. The surrounding sea views are breathtaking, and when combined with the temple’s presence, it feels almost magical. The highlight of the visit was without doubt the sunset. It is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, with the colors reflecting over the Aegean Sea and the temple glowing in the evening light. The road leading to the temple was also a wonderful part of the journey, with scenic views all along the way. A must-visit when in Greece! 🌅🏛️

The temple on the edge of the sea is a magnificent view. It's definitely worth it to visit. It's not so hard to get to there from Athens with the public transport. You can take the bus to Sunion which cost only 6.20 euros in direction. We took it from the Singrou-fix at around 11 o'clock. The trip to there takes around two hours and the road is very beautiful by the sea. The entrance ticket is 20 euros. There is coffee/restaurant there. The bus will drop you off right to the entrance of the temple.

We stopped here on our way to the airport, and it was a much more pleasant and relaxed shopping experience compared to Athens, which felt hot, crowded, and stressful in comparison. There’s a free luggage storage service available until 8:30 PM, which was really convenient. You’ll find a variety of restaurants, a large supermarket, and cafes with delicious pastries—all at reasonable prices. Most major clothing, footwear, and homeware brands are represented here. We arrived in the early afternoon. Although it was warm, there was a nice breeze. As the weather cooled down later, the place started to fill up with more visitors. One thing that truly stood out was how clean the restrooms were—honestly the cleanest I’ve seen anywhere in the world. The taxi from Athens cost €30 and took about 35 minutes. Just note that to leave the area, you’ll need to order a taxi (Uber works well).

We stopped here on our way to the airport for some last-minute shopping, and it was pretty cool. The mall has two big sections: an open area and a covered part. It’s spacious and family-friendly, plus there's a playground for the kids. Everything is well-designed and the restrooms are impressively clean. The Guest Services provides a free luggage storage service for tourist shoppers, but you need to show a plane ticket to use it. You can find all kinds of restaurants, a supermarket, and cafes with yummy pastries, and everything's reasonably priced. Most of the stores are branded, offering good deals on clothes, shoes, and household stuff. Just make sure to keep your receipts so you can get a tax refund for your purchases at the airport. The only downside is that there's no store for authentic Athens souvenirs, which is kind of a bummer.

Amazing! So many brands with great special offers. Totally worth spending the whole day here, visit both the premium section and the part with Zara, Sinsay, etc. There’s also a playground area for kids, making it perfect for families.

This mall is big! They have evrything and its very beautiful and pretty. If you are in the area its a must visit also walking distance to zoo and waterpark

Highly recommended perfect place to visit on your last day in Athens You can easily spend the whole day here without noticing the time it’s a beautiful and spacious outlet with so many great stores and a relaxing atmosphere. Most luxury brands are outlet stores, so you can find amazing deals and very reasonable prices. There are also a lot of popular brands like Zara and Pull&Bear… The place looks modern, elegant, and clean, and they even offer a free luggage storage service, so you can leave your suitcases and shop comfortably. We went straight from the outlet to the airport it was super easy We just took a bus to the train station, then a train directly to the airport everything was smooth and convenient

As with most outlets all over the world, the architectural layout and the brands displayed are similar. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. Because of the physical layout, visitors are not shielded from the rains if they want to move from shop to shop unless they use the underground carpark. When I was there on Monday, there wasn't many people. It opens at 10 in the morning.

I love this Zoo. We come with my son who is now 2 for over the year every weekend. We come less in summer, as it is hot. Its amazing zoological park with big variety of animals. Animals overall seems to get a great care. One thing tho, I really dont like how they "care" for rabbits! Im an owner of the rabbit fo over 12 years and the care they get at zoo is absolutely inadequate. They should do afoption program for them there. But real and seriouse one, maybe to partner with shelter, etc... And I do belive the seals need a much bigger pool. Also I wish the owner could participate with nice coffee shops and spread them around the territory. So people can have wariety of options. Also I do belive place can benefit from more programs like : buy a steak for Lion, or buy some food for animal of choice and you can see him fed by our stuff at certain hours. Thats will bring more money and more returned visitors and more visitors in general. We have annual path. Its amazing park otherwise to come to.

Very nice organized zoo close to Athens, very close to the airport. It has a large variety of exhibits. The dolphins pool is unique, I have never seen that kind of activity in a zoo. The Asian elephants are great. The butterflies area is also very nice. Has a lot of spots to seat, with plenty of shadow. The crew was very helpful, the place well maintained, and not crowded.

We really enjoyed our visit, so much we stayed 6 hours! If you have young kids, renting a trolley is worth it as there is obviously a lot of walking. Regardless of what you think of zoos, the zoo is clean, animals seem healthy and happy and it’s a great educational environment for children to learn to respect the planet and the animal kingdom. A fantastic day out!

It was a wonderful experience, especially the Lemurian therapy :)) ! There is great variety of animals and they are very well taken care of. The trail is beautiful with trees and greenery. We spent aroud 3h but you need around 4h-4:30h to see everything.

Amazing experience for my little boy 💙 I know he won't remember today's activities but he enjoyed it the most, so we decided it's good for his brain development to repeat this activity every year until he is old enough to create meaningful memories with his family 😁 until next time then!!!

I can't say enough good things about this zoo. It's clear from the moment you walk in that the staff genuinely cares about the animals and their well-being. Every animal looked incredibly well-maintained, healthy, and clean. The enclosures are spacious and meticulously looked after, providing a great environment for the animals. Beyond the animals, the entire zoo was spotlessly clean and well-arranged. The pathways were clear, the landscaping was beautiful, and it was easy to navigate from one exhibit to another. It made for a very pleasant and enjoyable day.

The Athens Zoo is a true oasis of joy for animal lovers. The fact that you don’t have to wait in long lines and can even enter certain areas to feed the animals makes the experience truly wonderful. It’s a beautiful, relaxing place filled with special moments.

A hidden gem for sure - more of a beach club than we were expecting but it’s very relaxed with a great array of amenities (showers, bar, restaurant). It’s a beautiful setting and the doctor fish were a great add to the experience. Staff aren’t the most welcoming or attentive but the food was tasty. Would recommend!

Had a wonderful time at the lake today, we got there for about 11-11.30 (via metro and bus, took an hour) and queued for 10 minutes. Didn’t ask for student identification and we easily managed to get two sunbeds as there was still many available. It was lovely vibe. Foods quite pricey for small portions and not a lot of vegetarian options, just tomato basil pasta or margherita pizza as the two hot mains. We spent a few hours here, loved the fish. Water was SO salty! Not seen anyone else post about how salty it was, suprised me a lot! The lake was pretty cold despite it saying 25 degrees but fair enough. Changing facilities were good. Only two cubicles for female toilets though which surprised me. I enjoyed the experience as a whole!

This place is just suuuuper cool👍👍 Enjoyed it just a to the beginning of March, sunny weather. Sun is very warm, but not burning, temperature in the lake is very refreshing. Lake is surrounded by the high rocks, so there is no wind there, just a smooth breeze.All what you need on weekend!! and it is very close to Athens 👍

Absolutely great idea to visit this lake. Come early as the sunbeds get occupied pretty fast by lunch time. No sunscreen allowed into the water, which is perfect in my opinion. Food and drinka available as well as wheelchair access.

This is a spectacular lake and chill beach club. It is such great spot to spend the day but the bad service of the staff there really let it down. I visited in June 2024 and had a wonderful experience in a cabana with my family. I even wrote an 3-page feature article about the Athens Riviera mentioning it and Abraovato for Robb Report ANZ where I was the assistant editor at the time. This year my visit today was still beautiful but the service was underwhelming. There was a mix up with my booking on the door which resulted in the blonde female manager in charge being very rude to on the door acting aggressively from the start. Then after settling down to read in our pre-booked lounge chairs for 50 euro (not what we thought wee were getting really) we ordered mineral water and coffee and decided to make the most of where we were seated. But after our first swim we were then surrounded by two male lifeguards, a swarthy and loud old male pool cleaner, and another two older male service people who gossiped very loudly right behind us for over 25 -30 minutes which made me very uncomfortable and made it hard to concentrate on drawing and reading (let alone sleeping which would have been nice). I didn't come to the beach club to sit around with a bunch of strange men who were supposed to be working and weren't. Every time i turned around they were staring at me. The place was pretty empty so we asked to please be moved to a quieter spot and we did move to some chairs right around the back of the lake where we continued reading and sketching the lake. We ordered a salad and a cocktail and moved all our own stuff to some new sun beds that were just in the sun. Again empty beds around us for as far as the eye could see Then we were getting prepared to relax when the blonde female manager came back over and told us we had to pay another 60 euro to stay on the sunbeds. So instead of staying until 6.00pm and eating and drinking as we had intended and having a snooze there went to the One &Only for lunch in Glyfada where the service, pool and bar is impeccable. This beach club could have made our stay so pleasant and enjoyable and the unprofessional staff really let it down. Had they offered us an upgrade to start with and some good service we could have had a great time. I have told so many people about this place and now I will not continue to because there is a nasty attitude in the staff that is truly inexplicable.

Everything is great. But look on this toilets.??? 17 euros entrance ticket and you can not fix it. You can see a neighbor in another cabin from the hole in that plastic cover. The door is not closing and the button with a mechanism outside

Very beautiful place. But the staff ist handeling und the equipment during opening houers in the afternoon which is very noisy and disturbing. They even take your chairs away you pay for and put yor stuff somewhere else 2h before closing. If one charges about 40 EUR entrance fee clarly wrong.

One of my favorite place where you can enjoy great view and wonderful boats. Good places for drink, dinner or lunch. Or just walk aroun snd enjoy the atmosphere.🫶🥰❤️😍 and parking available two hours only €6!!!

Flisvos Marina is a stunning location to visit with your whole family. There's something for everyone, it's an amazing place to stay for a couple of hours.

An excellent marina with a large number of berths for all types of vessels. The marina also has a number of bars and restaurants with excellent service and very good food where everyone can find something for themselves and there is also a gift shop if you want to buy a little something or a souvenir.

Ferry to Hydra, a Greek Island. Business Class. Very comfortable. Cabin was cold. Bring a jacket

Fast and comfortable trip that was on time both ways. I removed 2 stars only because I went to the ticket desk in Aegistra and the friendly agent said it was no problem to board an earlier ferry. I repeated myself just to make sure she understood that my ticket time was different and she patiently responded that the QR code would work. The QR code did not work, however, when I boarded and so I was unsure if I would have to buy a new ticket. The agent on the boat said she would take care of it and disappeared never to return. Please just make sure your agents and your ticket scanners are on the same page

Fast ticket sales. Very accommodating. Was able to change my ticket times so we can go back to Athens earlier than planned.

Don’t stress the reviews, reliable, easy to book online, got us there quickly, everyone was kind, just don’t come late and you won’t be stressed. Really grateful and such a more pleasant commute than flying!

Last boat of the day had a problem so they cancelled with no communication or care for how people get back from Aegina, they said email for refunds, and refused to issue them there. absolutely no duty of care for customers

Riding the ferry to Aegina from Athens was beautiful. The ferry ride was amazing and comfortable. The ride was 40 minutes and $40 round-trip. It was a slow day, it was easy to get tickets. It was a beautiful day on a beautiful ferry.

I came to this place out of curiosity, as a tourist, to see a Greek beach and take a walk. The harbor is impressive, with many beautiful yachts docked. It's a place for those who live in a completely different place. The beach next to it is rocky and, unfortunately, full of plastic pieces of various sizes

A very nice harbour and a great walk all the way around. Always in the sun and a great choice of places to stop for food and refreshments.

Pireus Harbour in Athens Greece is great place for connections to other islands by boats and ferries. I used so many times coming from Athens airport.

Very good organized port with plenty of different methods to reach the city center, including the hop on hop off busses if you are visiting only for a day during a Mediterranean cruise

There have been some modern updates since the 50’s but it’s not a modern port by any stretch of the imagination. Everything looks like the 1960’s but the necessary infrastructure is not here and may never get here. It can look comical how a country with so many islands don’t have a modern port but that’s a different conversation. If it gets busy good luck finding your way around. Most recently a paid passenger was thrown off the boat and died because the government has not figured a secure way to board people and vehicles on the boat. It looks like Europe but it reminds you a crossroad of cultures.

A massive seaport where local ferries and cruise ships dock. Taxis are only permitted to be in a designated area. Place is clean and efficient.

Main hub for travelling by ferry to greek islands ,very well organised

It's a beautiful temple, which I highly recommend visiting to learn about its historical significance. It's one of the three temples in the "Sacred Triangle." Admission is 10 euros and also gives you access to the museum.

Beautifully maintained Temple of the Goddess Aphaia, a mysterious figure local to Aegina and sometimes Crete. Pausanias (2nd c. CE) records that the Aeginetans called Britomartis “Aphaia. The Temple is really well-preserved and maintained. Admission is 10 Euro. Go early in the morning to avoid the buses and crowds. Taxis do go up here.

I like to call this island pistachio island. Everywhere you go including the beautiful temple of Aphaia are pistachios. Beautiful views and I would love to go here in the evening to take in the view of Athens. Amazing views.

A must-see if you’re visiting Aegina! The Temple of Aphaia is beautifully preserved and stands on a hill with an absolutely stunning view over the sea and even the mainland on a clear day. It’s quiet, peaceful, and feels very authentic compared to the crowded sites in Athens. Totally worth the 20-minute ride from the main port — it gives a real sense of ancient Greece. And after your visit, don’t miss grabbing a pistachio ice cream from the little shop right next to the site — Aegina’s specialty and the perfect way to end the visit!

It was okay. Maybe a lot better if we didn't walk a mile straight up to get there. Ruins with a small tourist store. Interesting information tables throughout. Lots of cats roaming around begging for food. Cost $10 euros to explore site. Very nice view from the top. Several tour busses were visiting at the same time as we were there.

It wasn’t that easy to get here - the ferry and then the taxi. But it’s worth it because of its more than 2.5K history and no need to jostle with other tourists. We got all the photos we wanted. The cats were very friendly once they knew we had cat food

It is a beautiful ancient temple well preserved. I don't know about the entrance cost because EU citizens under 25 have free entrance upon showing their ID. Highly recommend

The Church of Saint Nectarios in Aegina is a truly miraculous place, filled with grace and peace. You feel close to the divine here – a wonderful spot for those seeking spiritual quiet and heartfelt prayer. It is said that prayers are truly heard in this sacred place. Practical note: the religious shop only accepts cash, not credit cards. The church is easy to reach by bus from Aegina port, and nearby you’ll find plenty of restaurants serving delicious traditional Greek food

I didn’t know what to expect for this monastery but it is a really good photo stop. It also got me curious about Saint Nectarios, who I learnt is venerated for many healings, especially of cancer, both during his life and after his death

Huge church. Amazing interior and obviously a place of pilgrimage for many. The reason being in the name St Nektarios. He is buried here and is known for many healing miracles. There is also the monastery and further relics. Appropriate dress is required. Long trousers for men and shirts. Women long skirts, not shorts, and tops should cover shoulders. No entrance fee but donations welcome, I'm sure.

Whole place is wonderful! The setting is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the ambiance is calming. Strongly recommend visiting for a peaceful and uplifting experience.

This is an awe inspiring church. The floors are designed with tiny tiny ceramic tiles and around the amazing alter are mosaics of sea creatures. Above is the Monastery, with a small church, the actual rooms where Agios Nektarios lived and worked (St. Nektarios) and a guide to fill you in on all the details of his objects, writings and life. In addition there is a small room with the Saint’s tomb where many people feel/receive special closeness to God and even whispers when they put their ear up to the tomb. Skirts and cover update provided as dress code requires respect.

A beautiful and breathtaking holy place, the Church and Monastery of Saint Nektarios of Aegina is dedicated to one of the most renowned Greek saints, venerated in both the Eastern Orthodox Church and the Eastern Catholic Churches. This is a must-visit site when in Aegina, accessible by local bus, taxi, or rented scooter/car, with ample parking available nearby. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Be respectful of this active sacred site, as it is frequented by many Greeks seeking the favor of the saint. Up the hill, you can also visit the monastery. Men and women must dress modestly in accordance with the rules. When we visited, the interior was being renovated but remained open for visitors to explore.

Very spiritual experience, energy there was something special. Souvenir shop was a bit unorganized, big line up with only a single person working, but had really nice things.

Beautiful sandy beach with a few rocks here and there. There were umbrellas available for free and we enjoyed our time there. Perfect if you're staying at Askeli.

After a hard and hot days walking we needed to relax😁 Askelli beach is near to our studio so decided to head there😁🇬🇷 Very nice sun beds and umbrellas and even found a bit of shade 😁 €15 for two beds 😁🇬🇷 Nice bar area. Very good toilets and changing areas😁🇬🇷 A few pebbles and into the sea. No complaints😁 Didn’t eat but had two nice iced coffee ☕️ Convenient for us but also worth walking to 😁🇬🇷 Some good music 🎵 playing too😁🇬🇷 Will go again. Recommended 😁🇬🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Really beautiful beach 😍 the coast is sandy, seawater is clean. This place isn’t crowded ( in the middle of June) I was missing the bar and coffee shop or tavernas therefore only four stars for me…( this place is so far the supermarket and any possible of buying) If you want you can get a sunbed as well.

The beach is really good, in the beginning starting at the golden hotel don't have rocks many rocks and the umbrellas are for free. If you go bit more to the left is where the rocky part starts but if you have watershoes is just fine! Enjoy and have fun !

Went there on a mid-sunny May afternoon. Definitely not overcrowded (maybe due to the time period) but a very nice and picturesque beach! Sand was clean enough to lay down with your towel and the sea was also very clear and clean! 4 stars just because it lacks of amenities such as bars, umbrellas etc.

Water is abit cold today as is quite windy in September , we got a spot right on the rocky beach , is not sandy so is quite a feet massage to go thru that for a swim. we got our set of lounge seat from the nearby restaurant , Askeli . 12€ a day for the set of two. Price reasonable I reckon , and you can order drinks and snack to be serve. overall the staff are very friendly. Beach is not full at all, so is kind of peaceful and we enjoyed it very much

I think this is the best beach in Poros island. Trees provide shade and environment up to where the water starts. It is organised and you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds. Food and drinks are also available with prices the same like elsewhere. If you wish a good spot it is advisable to go as early as 10 o'clock in the morning.

Extremely disappointing experience. The staff was shockingly rude, the worst treatment we've received in 15 years of visiting beaches in Greece. Poor service, zero hospitality. Definitely not the Greek welcome we’re used to. Would not recommend.

The bay is absolutely gorgeous - crazy clear green waters, lots of fish to observe. This is unfortunately shadowed by poor customer service from there staff and over inflated prices for sunbeds. The staff is eager for money that they invoke some non-existing law that they cannot keep your already paid sunbed for more than 30 minutes. The worst customer experience ever in Greece.

Nice water, nice beach, but the services leave a lot to be desired. In the pure Greek commercial spirit, you pay 20 euros for a lounger, but if you leave more than 30 minutes because you don't want to eat extra lunch from them, you've lost your seats. And that wouldn't even be the problem, but the fact that this "rule" is not posted anywhere or communicated in advance...just Greece ;)

It is a petite cute beach that is excellent for quiet relaxing time. The bay is surrounded by deep vegetation which ensured its privacy. That is how the name came. It is very popular with couples or even people who prefers quiet calm environment. The water is sea green, clear. The sand is a little red to brown but sandy. The bay water is also calm enough, making it a perfect place for holidays and romantic outings. A narrow road surrounds the bay, but there is not much traffic in it. The bay has shower and drinking facilities.

Nice little beach with catch name. The waters look nice from above, but when you get in, you'll realize they are pretty muddy. OK for 1 time but it wouldn't be my favorite beach. The beach bar offer some sunbeds but at full season it's very very crowded.

It was my long walk on New Year's day, came all the way from the port that's downtown Poros & it was absolutely stunning! No wonder it's crowded in the summer, there were others enjoing a little picnic on the same day, such a quiet lovely place with crystal clear waters, looking forward to visiting again in the summer!

Beautiful view. Most of the hike up from the town is partially shaded and paved. The last 25 minutes after the monastery is steeper and requires real shoes. Worth it for the view off the eastern side of the island

The 360 view at the top is well worth the effort. From Hydra port, it took us 1h30mn, same on the way back. We left early in the morning to avoid the midday heat on the way back. The path from the city is cobbled up to the last 600m, then it’s steep and rocky but totally doable. Make sure have proper shoes for the last 600m.

The hike up to Mount Eros is so rewarding! The views along the way are breathtaking. It's not a popular hike so we were the only ones on the trail. It's well shaded and steep. Stop at the monastery for some water.

The hike up Mount Eros is a rewarding experience, but not for the faint of heart. It is doable by most, providing you are sure-footed and not intimidated by a bit of clambering as you near the summit. It is HIGHLY advisable you go early in the morning to avoid the worst of the heat (we left at sunrise to make the most of the cooler temperatures). Depending on your fitness, the amount of time taken will vary; for an unfit Brit with asthma and a heat-intolerant Irishwoman, the round-trip was around 6 hours after moving in short pulses of speed and taking the time to enjoy the scenery and the wildlife encountered along the way. Water is ESSENTIAL on this trip, don't forget it! We took two full hydroflasks and a 1.5L bottle and managed to finish all of it by the time we were back. Food is good too. Apparently you can also purchase water at the Prophet Elias Monastery, though we did not stop there ourselves. The route to the summit is well sign-posted and it is difficult to get lost. Going from the port and up Votsi/Miaouli Road, the indicators begin at the top of the road to direct you. Along the trip you will see blue and white rectangles painted in view indicating the route and direction you need to go, and similarly coloured crosses that denote incorrect routes. Surfacing for the first chunk of hike is mostly even, cobbles and steps with some rocky or gravelled paths. Take this time to doddle and enjoy the butterflies floating around, the view of the port and the shade of the trees. As you climb higher, eventually you will meet a fork in the path; one, painted in blue and white, will lead to Prophet Elias Monastery. The other, in yellow and black, leads to Saint Eupraxia Holy Convent and the route to the summit of Eros. Follow the yellow and black for the summit. The steps are a little more uneven so watch your step. Once beyond the convent, the rectangles will resume the blue and white colour. The path slopes slightly here before you begin climbing again, and here is where the footing begins to degrade. By the time you are closing in on the summit, you are basically climbing rocks, the best path is indicated by the red colouring of the soil. The route is marked with blue paint on said rocks to keep you on the straight and narrow. You will see the marker of the summit when you're almost at the top. From there, enjoy the view and snap some pics! And be proud of yourself, you just climbed a mountain. On the way back down be VERY careful with footing, it is far easier to slip going down than up - one of us took a tumble and got a lovely scrape down the forearm (did I mention it's also advisable to keep a first-aid kit on hand, just in case?). Fortunately this route is quite quiet, the lack of traffic makes descending much easier.

We hiked up to Mount Eros from the monastery. The road is marked by a clay color. Good shoes and some physical fitness are required. The view is totally worth it.

Amazing view on the islands. Worth the efforts. I would not recommend to do it with sneakers as some parts of the trail are really slippery.

Paralia Aponisos is a beautiful and peaceful spot on Agistri Island, offering crystal-clear waters and stunning natural scenery. Unlike the adjacent private islet of Aponisos, which charges an entrance fee (€6) for access to sunbeds, umbrellas, and food facilities, this beach area is completely free. Getting There: Paralia Aponisos is about a 15–20 minute drive from Skala, the island’s main port town. The route follows Agistri’s main road — it’s narrow but in good condition and very easy to navigate. Once you arrive, you can park conveniently right near the beach. The Experience: The beach itself is small, but the surrounding rocks offer plenty of spots to lay down a towel and relax, even though you’ll be lying on rocks rather than sand. The water is incredibly clear, with the feeling of a natural pool — really something out of a movie. The seabed is rocky for the first 20–30 meters, then turns into soft sand with beautifully transparent water, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. When we visited in early May, it was very peaceful and uncrowded, with only a handful of people around. Just be aware that during peak summer months (July and August), it likely gets much busier. Facilities and Surroundings: Behind the beach there’s a small port area and a food establishment (a bar/café), so you have options for refreshments nearby. To the side, you’ll see the private islet of Aponisos, which you can reach via a concrete platform. On the islet, for a fee, you’ll find organized facilities like sunbeds, umbrellas. Just a heads-up: directly behind the small sandy part of the beach, there’s a small port area, along with the road and a parking area for scooters and cars. This does take a little away from the feeling of untouched nature, since you’re not completely secluded. Still, the beach itself is so beautiful and the water so clear that you’ll probably enjoy it there anyway — once you’re swimming or relaxing by the sea, it’s easy to forget about what’s behind you. Final Thoughts: Paralia Aponisos offers a stunning, clear-water swimming spot with easy access and a laid-back vibe. Whether you want to snorkel, swim, or just relax on the rocks, it’s a fantastic place to spend a few hours. Just keep in mind that it’s not a sandy beach, and it may be much busier in the high season. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend visiting if you’re in Agistri.

Best beach of the island in terms of views and facilities. Entry with umbrella and regular sunbed is 6€ per person, and they have plenty (I’d say at least 100). If you want a set with cushion sunbeds (more comfy) it’s 5€ more (2,5€ per person). Considering the beach and the views, it’s excellent value for money. Very important: if you want, you can contact them to reserve sunbeds without additional fees, to make sure they are available when you arrive. This might be very useful especially during the weekends, where there are many more people and it might be hard to find available sunbeds. There is a beach bar with some food and drink options, and you can order directly from your sunbed through a button which calls a server without additional charge, very nice. The water is fantastic, there is both a shallow and a deep area, and you can also rent a kayak to explore the bay. Overall, I highly recommend, one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to, particularly nice after 5pm when most people have gone away and it’s quieter. Side note about the bus: as per July 2025, there are 2 (occasionally 3) buses that go from Skala to Aponissos, stopping by Megalochori, Dragoneira and Limenaria. The timetables are displayed on site, but it’s usually once an hour. While during the week you can manage to catch the bus in the morning (either the tourist bus for 5€ or the regular bus for 2€), during the weekend it’s almost impossible to catch one before 13:00, and there are very few taxis on the island, so I recommend be prepared for that maybe by reserving in advance or by renting a scooter. Conversely, catching the bus to go back in the afternoon, especially after 18, is much easier.

- It’s a private beach with 6Euro entrance fee. The fee includes sunbed with shade (no mattress- with mattress you pay 5Euro/2 person more and if with bed and cover- 10Euro). - However the access to the water is free as it can be access before the entrance. Out of that area there are 2 restaurants and many shade below trees. - Good service and perfect organization. Stay and press the button, they will come to get your order. Price is reasonable. - They also provide some stuff on the water for you to have fun. - The beach is sandy (still rocks here and there but still). About 6km from Skala.

It is a very beautiful place with lovely surroundings. The water is clear and great for swimming. However, admission to the sun loungers costs €6 per person, and a sun lounger costs an additional €10 per person. The front sun loungers in the first row are even more expensive. .

A very pretty beach with crystal clear water. There is a private beach side, cost of entry is 5€ which includes a sunbed. The customer service is very friendly and quick with reasonable prices. There is also a free area where you can lay down towels and rest under tree shades.

Beautiful beach. You don't need to cross the bridge in order to enjoy the beautiful water. Be aware that the sand is rocky and Not sutible for barefoot. Lots of urchin!
