Most impressed by the grounds, such variety. More seats round the lake and on the ground walks, please. Not been to the opera but the setting looks great.

Like to visit to this garden looks different at all times of the year

I stayed up late last Thursday to book a visit. Despite having my National Trust card in my hand I was told online, the only way to book I wasn't a member. Today, Wednesday. the only day the office is open and left a message with no reply. Not a good start. I do realise these are difficult times

Pantomime was absolutely fabulous but I'm afraid the lack if knowledge surrounding prebooking dietary requirements and the apologising from staff member in regards to my daughters having autism and the judgemental comments over children being vegan having the pre booked vegan meal due to lady on the phone seemingly struggling. With the concept of not understanding lactose free... And then ending up driving to Tesco's to get lactose free milk due to apparently having a rush of soya loving hot drinks loving people upon the same day... All terribly complicated not idea will be visiting again but probably give the cafe a miss...

Beautiful gardens all year round, so peaceful and lovely cafe too.

Just had a two night stay in the gypsy caravan, so tranquil and relaxing, cooking on the campfire, a three hour llama treck hosted by Sarah who is very knowledgeable and helpful, this was our third stay at Catanger and will definitely be booking again for next year.

Splendid visit, stayed in the Gypsy Caravan, out of the way and very peaceful and cozy. The dogs and Llamas are very friendly. Got some wonderful photos.

So much fun, a lovely walk and really interactive. I have been twice for both my 18th and 21st birthday, with definitely visit again!

Sarah the host was amazing, lots to do here including trekking with llamas but also great options to stay in a hut or a Romany traveller unit. All with proper sanitation and lots of woods/pond to explore. Open fires and just a really great place. Can learn a lot about llamas and get souvenirs of trip. Easy to find, lots of parking. A real good experience, well looked after. Outdoors in nature, looking after an animal and some moderate exercise is a great way to spend some time. 5*****

We had a gift voucher for a llama trek. The instructors were very helpful and knowledgeable. The llamas were calm and easy to handle and well taken care of. They each have their own personality.

We had an amazing experience yesterday flying with Justin and his crew, from Tring to Stone. It was both our first time in a hot air balloon (and even though I'm not always the best with heights) we enjoyed every minute of it. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. My partner bought this for my birthday over 2 years ago and it was delayed due to covid. Even though the voucher was only for a year, the company were very helpful and extended the voucher to allow for flights to reopen again and make sure it gave us enough time to book during the flying months when everything reopened. Communication by email was good and we had no problems with this. We felt safe and looked after on the flight, and kept well informed of what to do etc. I've seen on here some reviews about many cancelled bookings but that's the nature of this experience, and people should understand that when booking, you have to be flexible. We only had 1 cancelled flight and the next flight we booked in the same month, May 2022, went ahead.

Warning: not for anyone who requires a firm fixed schedule. We had an awesome flight on the summer solstice with Justin and team, first time in a hot air balloon and it was just amazing. Being at the mercy of the wind meant we were flying for 90 minutes or so, which we all loved. The views over Buckinghamshire were stunning and worth the wait – we had 2 prior cancellations, I am sure anyone who is flexible and rebooks immediately after each cancellation will get to have a great flight.

Had a really enjoyable flight over East Sussex. This was our 3rd attempt so pleased it happened. Professional crew, informative, fun, a hands on experience. Cant fault it. Thanks for our experience 21st August.

Extravagant & lovely gift from my brother 5 years ago for a special birthday. Still not managed to get a flight. Every booking cancelled. Some days the weather has been glorious & still appently not good enough to fly. I am sure they cancel if the flight is not full. If you give a flight as a gift be aware that it is quite hard work to achieve. The small print is hard to comply with & they keep wanting more money to extend the voucher or upgrade. I can't help wondering if the upgraded vouchers are more successful? Very disappointing & certainly not what the gift giver expects or intends.

Complete waste of money. Spent circa £200 on a flight for two with champagne. Two years on, we cannot book a flight either due not having availability or bad weather. Voucher expires in a few days and was told that we have to pay another £80 to extend it, even though we've tried using it three times but the flights were cancelled. Please avoid and stick with somebody decent like Virgin. Their website is a disaster too (see screenshot below). You end up either calling or emailing as it doesn't work well. How on earth are you still in business? Update August 2021: Four years on, numerous bookings and weather cancellations. We are still waiting to fly.

I had this voucher as gift for Christmas 2021. Here's my gripe with this company. You have to have booked 5 times in order to have your voucher extended. They will not refund your money for the experience you've never had. They will offer half back. I don't see how the company can say it is valid for a year when the season of flying is from April to October. The vouchers should be 2 seasons worth in that case that way you get a year of flying season time. The expectation of having your customers book five times is ridiculous in order to have the voucher extended free of charge. You don't take into consideration that some of your customers work full time and have to book time off of work. Nor do you take into account your customers that have children and have to arrange childcare and pay the cost. Nor do you take into consideration that due to times, days and locations it isn't possible for some of your customers to meet your expectations. Offering half the money back for the experience we never had is a slap in the face. If a customer hasn't received the goods then you should refund the full amount or extend it until that customer gets the experience that they paid for. It feels to me your customers don't hold much value to you. Which doesn't make sense considering happy customers recommend the service to friends and family, colleagues, on social media platforms & to neighbours. Disappointed customers will share the bad experience you have given them and end up leaving negative reviews which isn't a good look for a business. I feel your customers should be your number one priority but sadly this just isn't the case.

Like most of the other reviews on this page, my experience has been just as poor. I purchased a voucher for this company through Red letter days, thinking if they are endorsing them then they must be a reputable business. I originally purchased the voucher for my girlfriends 21st birthday hoping to go up that summer. I booked the London flight. This was back in 2015. Since then I have had no luck in booking a flight. Every time we tried to book a flight it got cancelled, obviously I understand that the weather has to be decent however there were days where it would seem that the weather was great and no balloon flight. In total I managed to book only 4 flights and therefore losing my voucher, now as you will probably already know I will have to repurchase my voucher for £40 each. The problem with booking flights is that my partner and I both work full time so getting days off together requires careful planning, especially when you factor in flight availability and weather. Therefore having to book 5 flights to have your voucher renewed in my opinion is ridiculous. My partner called the company to find out what our options were and they were most unhelpful. They simply kept repeating the fact that we hadn't had enough cancellations to be entitled to a renewal. The whole cancellation policy stinks! I tried to book, but unfortunately I couldn't drop everything just to book onto the next flight they had available, so apprentley that is my fault. I question whether anyone that has purchased the London flight has ever gone up. Once again I am really disappointed in this company for essentially stealing my money from me. I haven't received anything for what I paid and I now have to pay even more for what would seem to be another waste of £80. I will be following this up with another phone call to the business to find out how they are going to put this right.

I really loved this site. It was so tranquil on an early Saturday morning. The estate walks are beautiful. The walled garden is amazing - one of the best I've seen and I've seen a lot of them. The wisteria must look stunning when in bloom. House is very pretty and someone was playing the piano and it really made the visit even more pleasant.

A wonderful little place to spend the afternoon. The walk around the garden was lovely. Autumn blooms out in force. Not many people around so seemed peaceful. The house is compact but plenty to see and take in. Volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Biscuits that were cooked in the kitchen as we passed through were delicious. Shop and tea room were accessible and had standard NT fayre. The second hand bookshop was small but plenty of choice. All staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back here. Highly recommended.

The house and gardens were beautifully decorated and Christmassy, very friendly volunteers who were very happy to show us around. We ended in the coffee shop, we had some hot drinks, yummy brownies and pasties, the staff made us feel very welcome. All and all, we had a very relaxing few hours.

An interesting house and different to a number.of other houses we have been to. The rooms are more 20th century so an interesting insight into the family home and kitchen. The gardens were lovely, even though it is October but I will be back in Spring and summer when they will be at their best!

A beautifully preserved National Trust property with a warm, lived-in feel. The interiors are charming and full of character — especially the kitchen and library. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A peaceful spot for a slow afternoon, and the garden is lovely too. Highly recommended if you’re near Henley-on-Thames!

Wonderful house and Gardens. Rich history going back 1000 years, 1066 and the war. Lots of unusual plants and trees to see. Visit the green house and walled garden. There is a garden shop. Plenty of free car parking. Nice cafe with good selection of hot and cold food. Plenty of seating i door and outdoors.

Very peaceful and relaxing property with beautiful and interesting gardens and well presented 1930s furnished house. Knowledgeable volunteers were on hand and a pianist playing in the drawing room. It would have been good if there had been a kids activity trail but a good members experience nonetheless.

We did the tour and tasting followed by an overnight stay. All of the staff we met were lovely. The grounds and buildings were very well kept. Victoria was a great tour/tasting guide and certainly knew her stuff. We sampled various wines, beers and liqueurs, along with some cheese and crackers to cleanse the pallet between tastings. The farmhouse breakfast was great too!

I recently proposed to my girlfriend at this stunning venue, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth, beautifully organized, and completely stress-free. Don, the venue owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with- professional, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about making special moments unforgettable. The coordination with our photographer and even the tour guide, Steve, was seamless. Everyone worked together behind the scenes to make the moment magical, and they absolutely delivered. Steve was fantastic, and his knowledge is amazing. The atmosphere was lovely, the setting was picture-perfect, and the entire team made sure everything went off without a hitch. Highly recommend this venue for any special occasion- it truly exceeded all expectations!

Just a note to say we had a fabulous time. Very, very informative, easy to understand and great fun. Having been in hospitality all my life I knew a little about the subject but I left knowing a whole lot more. A great couple of hours, the time flew by. I would recommend the tour to anyone!

We enjoyed the wine tour, better yet we got it half price. It's great to hear the history of the location as we didn't know much about the area before the arrived. Everything was enjoyable from start to finish. 10 stars for the Irish cream liqueur and Blood Orange Liqueur

What a beautiful venue and a very informative presentation and tour by your staff. Forgive me but I can't recall the South African guys name but he made it a very memorable visit with his knowledge and anecdotes. Unfortunately i couldn't fully take part in the tasting session at the end because of having to drive home but plenty of great wines and beers to buy at the end. Happy to support a small but very professional and enterprising business.I would recommend anyone with an interest in wine making and brewing to pay them a visit. A truly memorable visit. Thank you

We had a fantastic afternoon tour yesterday. The chap taking us round was very knowledgeable, the setting was absolutely stunning, and the samples included lovely. We will definitely be returning to spend some time at the bar, and trying the delicious looking food. Many thanks for such a great time.

Just spent the afternoon at this venue with a tour being provided by one of the sommeliers. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the estate, the business and wine and beer making. He then led us expertly through a tasting of three wines, three beers and a liqueur. We then sat in the beautiful courtyard and enjoyed a glass of wine. Recommend a trip to this venue.

Really enjoyable visit to this stately home although it was built as a museum to house the possessions of the Rothschild family. Fantastic collection of art works, ceramics, tapestries and furniture and grounds. Entry needs to be pre-booked via their website there is a long walk 20 to 30 minutes from the car park to the house or you can book a shuttle bus for £2.50 return, free if you’re a blue badge holder.

Easy to find with large ticket office and excellent parking capacity inc disabled with a shuttle bus to the house and stables. Property has an interesting history and easy to walk through the various rooms. Large gardens for outdoor walking. Plenty of food and drink available. House has timed tickets available online or at the ticket office on arrival. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

A good wee place to explore and walk (in the garden), learn about history, architecture and art. Perfect for couples and families as they have a nice cafe(outdoor sitting) and wine shop. Some of the areas were closed when we visited(they were doing some renovation/maintenance work). They have spacious parking. Overall a very good experience.

Lovely day out, and very beautiful architecture. Lots of walking, if you like that sort of thing, which we do! The Manor's history is also fascinating. We enjoyed it here. The gardens are particularly beautiful.

We had a great family day out here, the house is beautiful and full of amazing artifacts, and all manner of priceless treasures. I enjoyed the Solomon's temple exhibit, interesting to see how it may have looked in it's original form. The grounds looked incredible with the autumn colours, and walking around a finding little hidden details was interesting. The outdoor cafe next to the gift shop had lovely, tasty food and drinks available. The gift shop was very pleasant aswell. Every interaction we had with the people working/volunteering there was very positive. Thankyou for a great time.

Beautifully kept manor. Lovely to walk around. Kids can run free and have a look at the birds. Kids also have a nice playground to go in. The whole place is pushchair friendly. There is a steep slope down to the play area and stables bit. The shuttle bus is great if you don’t like too much walking. Car park was spacious. Great day!

I think this was my most enjoyable National Trust visit. One of many Rothschild properties in the area but must be the jewel in the crown. A very good tour round the house King Louis writing desk and so much more it was just amazing. The grounds were also extensive and very beautiful

Visited with my Historic Houses card that thankfully helps me avoid a very overpriced £30 ticket. As I left, a family of four were handing over something like £87, which I would really advise against. There are limited grounds that you are welcome to roam in, which is something I’m used to at historic houses/gardens. The house itself is impressive of course, although I would have liked better interpretation boards around. Why not provide a list of the paintings? I had to ask a member of staff for their copy as I was curious about one in particular, but was asked to only take a photo of that specific listing. Unsure why there needs to be such secrecy around it. Personally I would like to see some information on the Black presence in some of the statues and paintings dotted around the house. You can’t take photos inside, presumably because it’s still the family house (and also to help sell the guide book), but I hope there might be a way in the future to remove that restriction. The walk around the lake is pleasant enough, although there’s not much to see other than the Diana memorial. There was nothing in the shop of interest to me, and I didn’t try out the cafe. But there are plenty of benches to have your own lunch, which was nice. I also had no issue with the car park being away from the house, but it would be great if there was somewhere to park a bike.

Beautiful place, the cafe is okay. It only offers cold sandwiches and cakes, very minimal hot food - etc soup. The family home is very pretty and the staff is well knowledgeable and proactively explained everything. The oval lake is peaceful, beautiful but also you can feel the sadness around it.

This is one of the most Beautiful and Enchanting places we have visited. The House was exquisite inside, the history was amazing. All the staff inside and out were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Outside was immaculately maintained and the Oval Lake where Diana’s resting place is was Breathtaking. Overall one of the best days we’ve had 🥰 A Huge Thank you to All the Staff and most importantly to Lord Spencer (whom we had the pleasure of speaking with) who if it was not for him allowing the public to come into his home and grounds to have a look, we would never be able to see all of this. Such a privilege and honour 🤗🥰 Would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be returning without a doubt!!

It was such a gorgeous day so we decided to revisit Althorp. The whole place is immaculate and the lake was stunning. Great having the benches to sit on and enjoy the view. Last time I came, there were more flowers in the beds at the rear of the house, which added some amazing colour, but I appreciate there would be a cost involved in that. The trees were stunning and sheer size of the property incredible. The sign into the property could be more obvious - went all the way round to the front gates, as that was the way on last time I visited - eventually found the correct sign but it was quite small and hidden in the hedge. I was able to get some great photographs thanks!

An impressive estate. Tributes to Diana start with a line of 36 oak trees and a plaque part way along. No photos allowed in the house, which has plentiful portraits and ornate furniture. Staff very friendly and informative. Interesting to see the bedrooms already made up ready for future guests. The house is only open during July and August. From the house it is a few minutes walk to the lake where Princess Diana is buried. It is very peaceful, a good place to sit awhile. A monument to Diana stands at the head of the lake, with Charles Spencer's touching words about her engraved into a plaque.

Really enjoyed our visit to Althorp. Grounds were beautifully kept & it emotional to see Princess Diana’s final resting place. The house was very interesting with all its history. The church is very spiritual, like it very much.

Had a wonderful visit to Althorp. The weather was beautiful, so it was lovely walking around the gardens and seeing the deer in the grounds. The house is spectacular with so much history and interesting artwork and furniture. This was our second visit and we learnt new things that we hadn’t found out on the previous visit.

We went for a comedy show that I surprised my partner on valentines day. I loved the atmosphere, very friendly and supportive staff. The arena was absolutely full, people were laughing mostly... some people were a bit shocked by the amount of extreme language and black humour... It was extremely difficult to find parking and to come our at the end, we waited more time to come out of the parking then the actual show time.

This is a wonderful theatre. Great service provided by the staff and always a great atmosphere here. Parking nearby is very convenient and the acoustics within the theatre is perfect. Watched Roachford and Level 42 on their UK tour. A great night out made special by the venue itself.

Northampton is privileged to have a great theatre. I had the best experienced while attending a recent show called Jamaica Love. A wonderful, educational and funny production, the whole communit enjoyed. It was easy to access, the seats were comfortable, the sound was great for such a big modern theatre, no echo's or sounding distant. Well worth a visit. Thanks for putting on a great show!

Great venue with amazing front of house. Northampton is lucky to have such a venue with multiple spaces and uses. Top class programme of theatre music etc bringing people into the town. Close to carparks.

We love the Royal and Derngate theatre. Always original and full of variety. Stalls seats generally best, but avoid front left or right stalls if you are going to see a rock band - you might be deaf for a couple of days! Upper circle (front) are super seats with a panoramic view of the stage.

This theatre is looking very tired. The seats are in a very poor state of repair with exposed foam on the seats and about 50% sporting poorly sewn patches. Also the seating is not offset or raked sufficiently, I was unfortunately seated behind a large man who completely obscured the centre of the stage.

Well looked after grounds, well tended gardens and beautifully managed Manor House. The facilities are more than adequate and volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable to explain and answer questions. However, we found the lights were very dim in most of the rooms downstairs and it was difficult to see or read the information provided in the pamphlets and walls.

No queues, not a lot of people and one of the most comprehensible and easy to navigate National Trust houses in England. Absolutely fascinating to learn more about English history; Disraeli, wartime mapping, and secrecy. Knowledgeable staff who like what they are doing. We visited on a glorious sunny weekday afternoon. A light lunch to start, nothing really special, served quickly and efficiently. The house is very well presented and the gardens are a delight to walk around and sit and admire while reclining in a deck chair.

Lovely building with a fascinating story. Loved all of the information on the production of the maps during WW2, especially interesting that they are still finding out about people who were there during that time. Cafe has plenty of seating with the usual menu of quality fare. The gardens are gorgeous and extensive.

Amazing House and gardens and with a lot of history, with roots dating back to before the Domesday Book. It became known as the country home of Benjamin Disraeli, Queen Victoria's favorite Prime Minister, who purchased it in 1848. If you're a National Trust member you should definitely visit.

A beautiful place to go. Gardens are well kept with lovely colours, the staff were friendly, and happy to help. House was amazing to look around. Water bowls in the courtyard for dogs and Toilets were clean.

As National Trusts site go this is very small.. Staff are friendly/ helpful and knowledgeable and everything is very well kept. Very hard to spend a whole day here and so therefore feels an expensive day out for non members. As we were

We visited Legoland on a Sunday afternoon and stayed in one of the woodland lodges before a full day in the park. The process of booking the stay was fairly convoluted on the website, but from that point, there were clear instructions and links for all our passes, which were very handy to have on the official app! Sunday in the park was manic and not at all quiet, with 40 min queues for all the main rides (including the underwhelming Dragon rollercoaster). Flight of the sky lion is a great ride, but please sort the queue system out for people with the fast access pass (some of which have paid extra). We waited longer in this queue than people were in the standard entry! I don't think the clearly hungover lad running it could cope with figuring out what to do. The site is quite sprawling and despite there being a train that runs from the entrance into the middle of the park, it isn't always in operation, so prepare for the walk back up the winding hill! Food offerings are standard over-priced fried theme park fare unfortunately, with little imagination in the variety on offer. Breakfast at the woodland lodge clubhouse was fairly decent on the other hand. Our lodge was clean and spacious, with the skylight projector in the kids room being a nice touch. The treasure hunt also went down a treat. You might want to take earplugs though, as the Heathrow flight path is directly above, so sleep was fairly limited to the hours of 11pm -5am. It could be so much better in places, but overall it was still an enjoyable outing that was worth checking out.

Great theme park, I enjoyed the rides, we didn’t wait to wait too long to get onto the rides and there was 2 that we did a couple of times. Kids loved it. The Lego mini land was great, loads to see and a lot of detail gone into it. Food was expensive but always is at these places. We’d happily return!

Bad: Rides waiting time: I'm starting with bad because I want people to first know what they are getting into so they can make a better decision. The rides have massive queues, the resort is not very organised in terms of crowd management. The queues are massive, like there's at least 60 minute of waiting for almost all the rides, unless you have ultimate ride pass forget about managing to do even 3-4 rides in a day. And their opening times are only 10-5, which is definitely not enough for the money you pay. I had ultimate pass and still I couldn't do all the rides and it felt such a stretch - is it worth the money though : absolutely. As we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for any rides. But it's ot for people who can't afford to pay for those passes. Food: If you are vegetarian, forget about eating here, not many options to eat, a Pizza place, that's beyond expensive £23-£24pp - with very limited vegetarian options, a burger place that does serve vegetarian burger, and the waffles place can't handle crowds and they close the shop when they can't handle the load. Face paint: rude staff and poor face painting skills Good: ultimate pass is rhe best way to enjoy the park, we loved all the rides we took. Miniland is awesome and so is their train. Staff is helpful (if you find them).

Visited Legoland with my two kids (1 and 4 years old) and we had a really good day out. Went during school time so there were hardly any queues, which was great! The park was clean and tidy with plenty to see and do to fill the day. Not much for the 1-year-old, but our 4-year-old loved it and went on lots of rides. Overall a fun family day out and would definitely go again when they’re a bit older.

The kids absolutely loved it. It was definitely a fun outing that everyone in our group really enjoyed. The ride times generally seemed to work out pretty well, and you can definitely make a great day out of it if the weather stays nice. The pizza and pasta buffet was efficient and there was plenty of food to go around.

Had a really good time with my 2 daughters. They both enjoyed the experience. Seeing how much stuff was built out of bricks was awesome. Some really good rides. Had to queue a bit but expected on a busy day. Would definitely recommend and 100% come back again

A very nice amusement park. It needs some social spaces/facilities like cafes or restaurants. Theme park is nice. Mini land is very cheerful area. Priority parking is extremely convenient but general parking is a bit far, consider this if you have any mobility difficulties.

We visited Bletchley Park today and had an absolutely fantastic day exploring this incredible piece of history. From the moment we arrived, the experience was first class. We were greeted at the entrance barrier by Jake, who gave us a lovely warm welcome — full of good humour and friendly banter — the perfect start to the day. Inside, every member of staff and volunteer we met was just as friendly and engaging. Their enthusiasm for the site and its history really brought the stories of The Codebreakers to life. A particular highlight for me was the Radio Team, who were exceptional. They not only explained the radio technologies and the process behind them in fascinating detail but even offered me a chance to have a go myself! Their knowledge and passion were infectious and added so much to the visit. We took our time exploring the Mansion, the huts, and the surrounding grounds — everything was beautifully presented and full of atmosphere. The attention to historical authenticity and the care taken in preserving the story of Bletchley’s wartime legacy was evident everywhere. The Gift Shop was excellent too, well-stocked with books, souvenirs, and thoughtful keepsakes. I was thrilled to find a book I’d owned as a child (a long time ago now!) — something I never expected to see again. All in all, it was a day filled with learning, nostalgia, and wonderful interactions with passionate people. A truly memorable visit, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Five stars without hesitation.

An amazing place and well worth a visit. The guides are all volunteers who give their time and expertise completely free of charge. In my opinion this makes them even more valuable to the whole experience and definitely worth listening to if you can get on one of their guided tours. Your entry ticket will allow you to return as many times as you like with a year of your first visit, completely free of charge, and you’ll need it as there so much to see and learn.

This is an amazing Living Musuem of history. The splendid work both highly intellectual people accomplished, together with every day men and women during WW2 is shown here. Without this secret team WW2 may not have ended when it did and with the British victorious. There is so much so see we needed 3 day visits. When you purchase your ticket you get a year to return and Thank Goodness for that.

Interesting visit to learn more about the WW2 Codebreakers and see the technology they used. Informative and entertaining video presentations. Friendly staff and good interactive displays. Quite expensive at £28 pp (we won't be going back in the next year even though the ticket says you can) and disappointed that the museum of computing was another £10 each next door. The website says the cafes have gluten free options but they didn't have any gf cakes or sandwiches, only a main meal.

An amazing time in our countrys' history, remarkable work carried out by extraordinary people. We learnt a great deal more about the events that occurred there than we previously knew. Definitely worth visiting, as your entry tickets are valid for 12 months multiple visits.

We had a fantastic day out at Bletchley Park. There was so much to see. I particularly enjoyed the areas recreated to look as it did during the Second World War. Whilst I knew of the work done there and its importance, visiting left me with an even deeper sense of admiration for the people who worked there.

What ca. you say? Incredible place where some incredible people worked long hours to help shorten WW2. So very informative, plenty to see. Can easily spend a day here, and the great thing is that your ticket is valid for 12 months so you can return any time within that period. If you’re a member of English Heritage then you can get money off your ticket too.

We went to see death on the Nile and it was a cosy theatre. Good seating arrangement, very good and affordable pricing for seats and drinks- I liked the architecture and that it had good accessibility as well as toilets were clean and well maintained . Extra gold stars for the tampons.

Had an amazing experience at MK Theatre yesterday (16/11) and staff were all friendly and helpful ain't been here in 5 years toilets are clean. Prices for food and drink was expensive and brought 2 drinks and a tub of crisps and ice cream. I sat in Upper Circle and the view was brilliant I watched Now that's what I call a musical and I gotta say it was fantastic lots of laughs too the singing,dancing and acting was spot on and was a 80s themed. I recently attended a matinee performance of Kinky Boots at Milton Keynes Theatre, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The theatre itself is modern, well-maintained, and provides a great atmosphere for live performances. The seating was comfortable with a good view of the stage, and the acoustics were excellent, allowing every word and song to be heard clearly. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The facilities were also impressive—clean and spacious restrooms, a well-stocked bar with reasonable prices, and a foyer area that was bright and welcoming. As for the show, Kinky Boots was absolutely spectacular! The cast delivered outstanding performances, the choreography was energetic, and the music was uplifting. The production was full of heart, humor, and brilliant storytelling, making it a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, Milton Keynes Theatre is a great venue for theatre lovers. Whether you’re seeing a musical, play, or comedy show, it offers a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for future performances!

We have visited the Milton Keynes Theatre several times and have always been so happy with the theatre as a whole. It always appeared clean and well manned, stocked with plenty of drinks and snacks, and staff have always been happy and helpful. Seats are spacious and have plenty of legroom, wherever we have sat. The shows we have watched have included Derren Brown: Showman & Only Human, Lord of the Dance and a few pantomimes. Could do with a few more toilets as queues before, during an interval and after have been especially long. Snacks are also a little overpriced but that seems to be the theme in theatres! Would highly recommend this theatre and will be visiting again very soon.

A really lovely theatre, we went to see Calamity Jane which was brilliant! Parking is close by with lots of food and drink options near for before and after the show. The theatre its self is lovely, easy access, there was no cramming or huge queues to get in. We sat row CC on the ground floor in the middle of the row, a perfect view, I feel any closer to the stage could be too close! Only thing to bear in mind is they don’t let you take your own food (which is perfectly fine) we had forgotten to eat our sausage rolls before going in! The staff were super friendly we just had to eat them before going in :) Bottles of water and sweets were allowed.

We really enjoyed the show tonight. I wanted to leave a review today because of the exceptional service from the lovely lady on the upper tier. I stupidly ordered drinks to the wrong seats before the show. Wrote it off as a mistake but she went and found them in the interval and brought them to us. Great service ♥️

Finding the theatre wasn't too bad, parking wise: arrive at least an hour early to avoid multi storey queues, alternative is on street, which costs almost £9 for 4 hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby, theatre has numerous bars, as well as snacks. We went to see Kinky Boots specifically to see JJ (Strictly star), but the theatre didn't indicate in any way that the Understudy was in the Lead Role, which was extremely disappointing!! When we booked tickets, we chose a matinee when JJ should have been performing, the theatre management stated that he was doing alternate afternoons, which was different to the Kinky Boots official information. So when you're coughing up over £70 per ticket, it's not a great look.....! Having said all that, Kinky Boots is a great show, with a strong dynamic cast, just that the big attraction (Johannes) was missing. The Understudy was good, but not the same. When leaving Milton Keynes, unless you know the route (or use satnav), it's easy to get lost as road signs are non existent and endless roundabouts make you dizzy 🤔

Another good session here. Our 13 year old boys have done the 1 day course reaching level 4 back in April, now they are doing level 5 and 6 in the 2 hour lesson. Super instructors and good facilities. A great way to prepare for a ski trip.

Staff here are so friendly, passionate and supportive! Did snowboarding for the first time the other day with Marian who was so so friendly, patient, amazing and kind. Also had skiing lessons previously with Charlotte who was extremely kind, helpful and patient. I also met Claire - the manager who went above and beyond for me and was also really helpful. Thank you to each of you, you really are special people. Hope we meet again :)

First day of my sons ski course. The parking was easy and aprox 100m from the Snozone desk, all flat and accessible if needed. The staff were efficient in organising his boots, putting him in his team and supporting him over the next hour or so. No complaints from either of us. I only gave 4 stars as the available cafe for me to spend my time waiting could have provided more options for breakfast, like a bacon butties. I did have a nice hot chocolate though.

Visited Snozone for a Snowboarding beginners day course. Had a fantastic time. Jago was super friendly and helpful in teaching technique and providing advice. Lunch was included in the price and we were offered a choice of pizzas, jacket potatoes and a few other options. Course lasted around 7.5hrs from 1015 to 1745. Group size was five, which worked well and Jago did a great job of supporting individuals with varying degrees of experience. Great fun, had a few hard falls, but perseverance is key! I will be back.

I’ve visited Snozone several times over the past six months. I started with a 1-1 session, followed by a Level 2/3, then a Level 3/4 session, and was due to have my Level 4/5 lesson next week. By the end of my Level 3/4 session, my instructor had ticked off all sections of Level 4 except the final box, mentioning that “with 10 more minutes, you’d have completed the level.” That would have allowed me to progress straight to Level 5/6. However, this week I received an email stating that Snozone no longer offers combined-level sessions and that my upcoming lesson would only cover Level 4. I called to explain my situation and asked whether I could move directly into Level 5, given my progress in the previous session. Unfortunately, I was offered very few options—almost none—and it felt as though the issue was being treated as my responsibility. I even suggested arriving early to complete Level 4 before moving on to Level 5 on the same day, as I was simply trying to continue the training I had already paid for. The staff member I spoke with wasn’t very helpful, and I eventually had to ask for a refund myself, which I would have expected them to suggest.. I later called back to ask about booking a full 7-hour Level 4/5/6 day instead. Thankfully, the second staff member I spoke to was much more professional and understanding. Although the available dates didn’t work for me, she processed my refund promptly. I’m really disappointed, as I had thoroughly enjoyed every session up to this point and was genuinely looking forward to continuing.

Amazing beginners snowboard course last Friday. Tony (and Dave) did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and helping us to progress throughout the day. From never standing on a board to completing some relatively good turns in a few hours. The facility is great, easy to get to, cheap to park at, everything you need under one roof. The best bit was the instructors. Tony really put 100% into the job and was awesome. Had loads of fun and learnt so much. He was helped by Dave who was great too. It's a hard day, and physically demanding but so worth it

My first time trying snowboarding. Had a great instructor, Rachel, who was very patient with the group. I plan on coming again for more lessons

I came to Salisbury for the cathedral but fell in love with this chapel. I sat down for the last of the service one evening and they were kind to allow me to take a look before closing. I returned the next two days to just sit and enjoy. Highly recommend!!

Visiting Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel on the grounds was beautiful. It was a lovely day and many visitors. The visitors were happy and friendly.

Highly recommended! St George's Chapel is a Gothic chapel located in the lower bailey of Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England. Windsor, the most important castle in England, is the primary residence of the monarch. The castle chapel is under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch and is the seat of the Congregation of the Order of the Garter. The castle chapel was founded in the 14th century by King Edward III and significantly expanded in the late 15th century. It is the site of many royal church services, weddings and funerals. If you bought a ticket to visit Windsor Castle, the chapel is included in the ticket price. You can also buy a separate ticket for much cheaper if you do not plan to visit the castle. A castle + chapel ticket costs 35 pounds, a ticket only for the chapel is about 7 pounds. Information accurate as of June 2025. P.S. I try to share specific information. A nice chapel, very informative details shared on the headphone guide set. I also saw the memorial where Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh was buried and also the main church where there were previous royal weddings and funerals. Sadly can't take pictures of inside the chapel.

The chapel in Kings college is amazing, but not quite worth 20+ pounds.

An absolutely stunning church, with such a long and varied history behind it and of course now the resting place of Queen Elizabeth II as well as her mother, father, sister and her beloved Prince Philip. You aren't allowed to take photographs or videos but this is of course for a very good reason and everyone around me also followed the rules and refrained from taking photographs. Its a very special place to reflect and will be forevermore.

Within the grounds of Windsor Castle and a bit of a misnomer.... chapel, it's more like a cathedral. Epic historical building. No photography allowed inside. Built in the late medieval perpendicular Gothic style. Founded in the 14th century. Definitely worth going to see if you like architecture as the interior is magnificent and awesome.

First time visiting and was blown away at the history and beauty of the Castle, the church and grounds. The town is charming as well. This is a must see, easy trip via overland train from London. Get the audio tour headsets as it’s included and will make the experience worthwhile.

Its an english castle. Well kept. I Its slightly less for value of money. Would advice to buy tickets in advance as that will save money. If you are visiting multiple castles throughout UK, kindly buy a pass for them as that will be cheaper rather than buying tickets at every castle. No pictures allowed inside.

Its a very nice castle to visit with a lot of interesting weapons and armour. The security section is a bit unorganised and chaotic but otherswise a great place to visit. The audio guide is great. Staff is nice.

What a beautiful castle. The tour is well planned and if you love the monarchy and the queen/king things you will be blown away by this gorgeous place. Just don’t forget to book tickets in advance, take the audio guide with you and enjoy a little touch to royal family’s life.

We took the day trip to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge, and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Steve, was wonderful, he is incredibly knowledgeable and funny. I also want to give a big shout out to our coach driver Carlos who made sure we got to each location in a timely manner. ​Steve shared so many interesting facts, especially at Bath and Windsor Castle my favorite stop. It's a lot to see in one day, but Steve managed the schedule perfectly. Lunch at La cock was a nice touch and very delicious. ​Seeing all these iconic sites in one go was unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour!

The castle is quite large, especially the Royal Apartments, which include many rooms. You should allow around four hours to explore everything calmly and take it all in, and that’s even without taking photos, since photography and video recording inside the apartments are unfortunately not allowed. The castle grounds are beautiful, with lovely trees and a small park. You can also see the royal guards outside, who seem to change several times a day, marching across the castle grounds. We visited on a rainy day, and although the weather wasn’t ideal, there were still quite a few visitors. I highly recommend taking the audio guide, it’s available in several languages and gives an excellent explanation of each building, room, and painting. In the guidebook, the tour starts with the Royal Apartments and then continues to St. George’s Chapel, but in reality, the chapel seems more logical to visit first, as most people turn left rather than going straight uphill to the apartments. Perhaps this is because there aren’t many clear signs outside indicating the order of the route, unlike inside the Royal Apartments, where the directions are very well organized. Because of this, the route can feel a bit confusing, or maybe it was just because we were rushing to find shelter from the heavy rain, as we didn’t have umbrellas. There are several souvenir shops on the castle grounds and a café where you can buy official chocolate, keychains, magnets, books, toys, coins, jewelry, and beautifully designed pens and pencils. From the windows of the Royal Apartments, there’s a truly stunning panoramic view of the inner garden, which, unfortunately, is closed to visitors. The bushes are perfectly trimmed, genuinely royal. We arrived at the castle around 11:00 a.m. and stayed until about 2:45 p.m. Online tickets cost £31, but since it was a Monday in November, there were no queues, so we bought ours on-site for £35 per adult. Before entering, there’s a security check at the gate. Overall, the castle is absolutely worth visiting, a perfect trip for one or one and a half days. The town itself has a great variety of restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops. The train station is right in the centre, about a five-minute walk away. Everything is within walking distance, our hotel was just 10 minutes from the castle, which was perfect, as after dinner in town we could enjoy a short walk back. Since the castle stands right in the heart of the town, there are hotels just across the street, but even those located a bit further away are still very convenient and charming. Parking could be improved, as in most tourist towns in England. We checked several public car parks, with daily rates between £22 and £28. Our hotel had its own secure parking area behind the building, gated and monitored, for £20 per day. It might be worth checking some higher-end hotels, as a few of them may offer free parking, though such options are quite limited.

Fascinating visit, it's everything you expect it to be! £35 for an adult ticket which includes an audio tour. Well organised and the staff are efficient and friendly. Amazing to finally see how the royal family live in the castle and the history is incredible .

Mixed reviews for me.. Most of the staff are friendly but some look like they really don't want to be there.. The rides are "good" for kids. My son is 6 and I would say it's ideal for his age group. If I was to return in the future, I would take my own food as the quality of what was available was poor for the price. This theme park needs a overhaul and updated. Most of the rides, the food hall etc is looking all a bit old now. If they are making a good profit then, they need to spend money on updating the park, looks all a bit 90's and been left to rot. Food hall and seating area was a little smelly, no decent lighting, sticky floors and not enough staff cleaning in-between each family using tables. Above all this, I would return more prepared.

These is an amazing small theme park but really good no queue on all the rides. The staff are really friendly and loved their job. My only complained is the restaurant closed at 2:00 pm.There is a pizza place in the front that is really amazing. But over all very happy with the experience rides are not that extreme. The kids loved the zipwire experience and also the cable car. Would definitely come back soon.

Had a really nice time there. A lovely little park in the heart of MK. Rides are fun and designed for little ones in mind. We went around the river ride more than once! Log flume was great too. Main restaurant was fairly priced for a meal deal and clean. Lighting was atmospheric with fairy lights which was cute. Staff were friendly and we had Bluey there on our visit. The only downside we saw was it needed a bit of TLC to the bathrooms and play centre. The rest of the park was lovely but these both need a bit of money putting towards it to make it a better experience. Fair price for what you get. Would come back again!

Lovely small theme park great for kids i would say upto the age of 10. Loads of rides with no ride closures which makes a change going to a theme park ! Kids will have anything abundance of fun here... parking on 1st glance looked tricky but actually more than enough room and not miles to walk to entrance... food was the same old theme park food but very reasonable

Overall it's ok for it's size and price (if you get discounted tickets). Has one or two cracking rides for older kids and adults. Plenty of fun rides for smaller kids. Some areas are looking a little worn sadly and areas like toilets could use better upkeep. On the plus side you rarely queue longer than 10mins. If you see a deal for discounted entry it's well worth a family day out.

HEADLINE Such a shame, as it probably was an amazing park, but its been let down, loads of things not working (pretty much the whole of the JCB world didnt work 😞) the crains didnt work, some of the diggers didnt work properly, there was a ride closed. The food was very Exspensive, but thats like most theme parks I would say. They had some odd rules like no age limit. As long as the child was sitting in the seat, we had a 3 month old whitch would of been safer to put her in our arms but we had to sit her in a seat and put our arms around her, did look funny. The park was a nice size, and there was enough to do for all ages that we have 3m , 2YO, 14YO and 15YO We had a nice family day, just a shame a lot wasn't working properly, i feel this will be letting the park down in the long run and they need to invest. Still made a good day of it despite these problems with the park. Its just a word of warning. They need to invest if they want people to return. We wont be returning sadly.

Had a great day out with my grandson (5) and great niece (4). We visited on a Saturday and arrived about 10mins before entry time, we went through to see the staff and mascots doing a little routine and declaring the park open. We used advanced tickets and just produced the barcodes on my phone to the staff at the entrance. The weather wasn't that great, which seemed to keep the crowds away, meaning we were fortunate to not queue for anything other than the log flume (which was still only about 5mins). There was loads to do as well as the rides and we didn't leave till closing. Food was typically priced for a theme park. Burger, chips and drink style meal was about £10. Gift shop was cute and although again typically priced, they had a good selection of little pocket money priced items. There are plenty of amenities and toilets all over the park.

After waiting in a queue for more than 2 1/2 hours, just to get into the park, to then only get on 4 rides in 7 hours was a really big disappointment, especially after paying £40 for a ticket 🎟. To fast track 1 ride per person was an extra £16 each but was still no solid guarantee to be that much quicker in the mile long queues for rides, so unfortunately, my first, and no doubt, last ever visit to Thorpe Park, was massively disappointing to say the least. Bring on the day, a paying customers satisfaction and experience are prioritised over how much money 💰 they can make, and gladly take from us, each day.

The attraction was amazing. We went for fright night and the actors where so nice. Creature campus looked after my niece for me when I went on a ride with my boys because she wasnt feeling up to it and sung happy birthday to her which made her feel so happy to be there. I really recommend coming its a great day out with the family and definitely come for fright night. The food was amazing 100% recommend food. Staff was great. Actors amazing. Survival games scare maze breathe takingly amazing although sometimes you do get split up from the group. We went on a Thursday so it wasn't as busy and the ride queues weren't really long. The actors remembered my niece all through the night and everytime we saw them they would say hello. Also Connie and rattlesnack and all the Frank's are so wonderful and nice. My niece's name is bethany.

Visited on Sunday, 2 November 2025 and had a great day overall. The atmosphere and theming were brilliant. Hyperia was stunning, though both my friend and I (in our thirties) had neck pain after one ride and ended up taking paracetamol, so it might be worth reviewing comfort. One staff member at the curry outlet was unnecessarily rude when I asked her to repeat herself, which took the shine off things. The small Stranger Things shed looked amazing - I would love to see that expanded into a full attraction in the future!

Queues were pretty crazy, 1 hour just to get in! 1 hour minimum for a ride, 2 hours+ for hyperia, if you didn't have a fast pass. Was impressed with the vegan options for food though! Also there are quite a few electric charging points in the car park, which are compatible with the octopus electroverse cars

An amazing theme park, compact and easy to get around, so many extreme rides. Great for teenagers and up, no so for little ones. But be prepared for very long queues if you go on a weekend and in the holidays... try not to, pull a sick day and go in the week! 😅

First time doing fright night at any of the parks. Great atmosphere, decent scare mazes, and riding rollercoasters in the dark was my favourite theme park experience ever. Well worth the money considering the extended opening times.

Thorpe Park is built for thrill seekers. Adult tickets bought in advance start at around thirty-three pounds, but if you pay on the day the price can jump to about sixty-six, so planning ahead makes a real difference. The park is always busy, especially on weekends and school holidays, and while the atmosphere is energetic and lively, the crowds also mean queues can stretch for a long time on the most popular rides!! The rides themselves are the main draw and they don’t disappoint. Hyperia, the new record-breaking coaster, is a breathtaking mix of speed and airtime, while Stealth launches you from zero to motorway speeds in under two seconds. The Swarm twists and dives with enough inversions to leave you grinning or disoriented, and Colossus still holds its charm with ten back-to-back loops, even if it’s a little rougher than newer designs. Water rides like Tidal Wave break things up nicely and are especially refreshing in summer, though almost every major attraction demands patience in the queues. Food inside the park is a mixed experience: there’s plenty of choice, from pizza and wraps to fish and chips, but prices are predictably high, with meals ranging from seven to twenty pounds and more premium sit-down options at the hotel restaurant going higher still. Quality varies but is usually decent, and bringing a few snacks or a refillable water bottle can save money. By the time you leave, tired and likely a little lighter in the wallet, the buzz of the rides and the sheer adrenaline rush usually make the day feel worth it — it’s an experience that delivers thrills in abundance, even if it comes at a price. Far too scary for me .

It's a great place for the walkers, two, and four-legged. There are plenty of woodland trails to take, with a great trail for wheelchair users. There is a lovely cafe/ restaurant there with plenty of seating, outside and in. A delicious ploughman's for around £11, good value. The car park is free, but the trust asks for a small donation of £2, but it's voluntary. I went on a Thursday, and it seemed very popular.

We love Ashridge. Lovely way marked paths that include some suitable (if you are strong & have a robust wheelchair) for wheelchairs. A good amount of parking - don’t forget the £2 voluntary contribution. Good shop and cafe and there are often some activities for children. It is wonderful walking among the trees. Keep your eyes peeled and you way we’ll see deer.

We love ashridge. Lots of accessible walks, natural play spaces, gift shop and a nice cafe. Free to park which a big bonus, although we are NT members anyway. Amazing colours in autumn and always lovely for a walk, whatever the season.

Fantastic place for walking your dog in the forest or just walk around with children. It has four different main routes but you can just get lost wherever you want. There is a nice cafe with a seating area, a shop and toilet facilities by the main car park.

Great place for a walk. Plenty of parking (free if national trust member otherwise a donation box) Has toilets, cafe, shop and some boards with different walks. We did the foresters walk which said 3 miles in 2 hours. We weren't walking quickly and got back in much less than 2 hours. Pleasant walk through the woods. Also went up the monument for some great views (much higher than it looks from the bottom!) Definitely recommend visiting here.

I was a National Trust member for quite some time, and used to visit Dockey Wood to enjoy the bluebells every year, up until four years ago when the bluebell woods was overrun with brambles. Even though after numerous complaints about how it was neglected they started putting up signs. They started leaving lots of branches for barriers in a claim to stop people from treading over the bluebells. It looked a mess. They left signs saying how they wanted to protect the bluebells, and then it was for forestry reasons why they left the brambles there. They claimed they didn’t have to do anything as it was originally a commercial forest but for the benefit of the public they were going to charge them for the benefit of looking at brambles and dead branches. There is a slightly lesser known larger bluebell area the opposite the road to Docky wood. It was perfectly shaded. It wasn’t open, and no major deforestation had ever taken place in that area for some time, and the bluebells flourished. However, last year they put barriers up in the car park by Docky Wood, and I noticed a lot of tree trunks and forestry notices going up. Today I’ve walked to the secret bluebell area which is now covered in tree debris. A whole area of forest has disappeared leaving the area wide open. All of the tree debris is all over the emerging bluebells, including lots of trees that have been felled to get the large machinery right through the centre of the Bluebells. There were originally small paths through the bluebells, which they then blocked with signs saying don’t come up this path badgers beware. But obviously when it suits them most there is now great big 2 track tree felling machine tracks straight through those little paths. The single paths are now large double track mud holes, which have trampled over the bluebells, and have effectively devastated an absolutely gorgeous bluebell wood. It’s quite clear that the tree felling has got nothing to do with the protecting the bluebells but all to do with the financial gain they’re going to get from the high price of wood. They could have put the tree debris anywhere else in their 500 ha area of forest and yet they chose to dump all of the trees and debris and cut down lovely well established trees and dump it on all of the bluebells. Great job, Ashridge estate.

A fantastic place for a peaceful walk in nature! I recently explored this National Trust site, and the trails winding through the wooded areas were absolutely beautiful. It's a lovely spot to clear your head, with plenty of benches along the way to sit down, rest, and take in the views. The cafe and gift shop are great stops if you fancy a quick break or a small souvenir, and there are some nice pubs within walking distance if you want to extend your walk. Overall, it's a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a refreshing and scenic walk. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely day, it's about fun, simple rides and the park land. Food was not too expensive either, the baked potato in the cafe was quickly consumed with no complaint. We went to Alton Towers last year and whilst not comparable, this cost about the same as the food there, and in truth we had more fun. There is plenty to improve, not least the free playground and some of the buildings, but go with the right level of expectation and enjoy your day, helping to protect this little bit of heritage.

I was lucky enough to win four tickets to Wicksteed Park in a competition, and I went there yesterday. What a fantastic day it was! I absolutely loved my visit and would highly recommend the park to anyone looking for a full day of fun. The first thing that impressed me was how enormous the park is. There's so much space to explore that you never feel cramped or are fighting for room. The size of the park gives you a sense of freedom and the opportunity to discover something new around every corner. Besides the space, there's a huge amount to do. The variety of entertainment is impressive, with attractions for all ages. Whether you're looking for big thrills or something more gentle, there's something for everyone. We spent the whole day there and still felt like there were more things to see and do, which is a big plus. For me, Wicksteed Park is the perfect place for a fun family day out. The atmosphere is great, and with so much to do, it's impossible to get bored. It was an experience I'll remember fondly.

Absolutely amazing day yesterday. Came with my son and my two granddaughters. Purchased wristbands for all. Great price for family of four..unlimited rides which we all..especially girls took advantage of. As a grandmother of a child with svi I cannot recommend this park enough. From staff to patrons of this park everyone was amazing and so respectful to my granddaughter. Staff were aware my granddaughter required help by her dad or myself to get onto rides..and were extremely courteous. Gentleman on carousel was the best. Thank you sir! Unfortunately daddy and I felt a little unwell after a ride..you probably heard our screams asking for help during ride which my..obviously caring granddaughters..laughed incessantly.. Will definitely return. Thank you guys for an amazing day

Great day. Great value. Great staff. Have selected 5star for rooms service and location as whole day was a 5 star experience. The haunted walk was scary! Our 2yr old, but almost 3yr old.104cm, grandson loved it and got more confident so by the end of the day went on the high swings! We didn't eat there - it wasn't silly money but we had brought our own.

Staff were absolutely amazing enjoyed evey ride i went on with my friend. Favourite had to be the slide where a lovely girl called skye, made the ride even more enjoyable just by not only helping understand the ride but her cheerfull demeanor made the ride soo much more entertaining. Shout out to the meerkats who were adorable as ever.

A great park for toddlers, with both open play areas and an indoor play zone. Kids can enjoy various rides (though some may not be suitable for children under 3. Adults can enjoy walking or running around the park. There’s also a small train ride that’s fun for all ages.

Awful Oktoberfest for 2025. False advertisement with their posters and you left feeling like it was a scam: The event was advertised as a lively and festive Oktoberfest experience, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. When we attended, there was only one food truck, no decorations, and an almost empty room with a band performing, where the only thing festive about them was the generic costumes they wore. While the musicians did their best, the overall atmosphere did not resemble the vibrant Oktoberfest celebration that had been promoted. £20pp for nothing. When a refund was requested the customer feedback team were very unprofessional and you’d be luck to get a reply.

I had a wonderful day at Whipsnade zoo today. Highlights of the day were the brown bear, elephants, rhino’s, giraffes and the birds of the world show. Didn’t see the lynx which was a shame. Didn’t see a lion only a lioness and some cubs. 1 star lost because the tigers enclosure seemed really small and the tiger looked sad pacing around the enclosure. I also felt sad for the chimpanzee who seemed like it was having fun and was very entertaining but again enclosure felt small. Park could also do with more signage to help navigate the way around as although map on the app is good would still be good to have more signage as the grounds are huge and easy to take a wrong path. I also went on the steam train which was £5 for adults but I wouldn’t go on it again. Very big ground with loads of viewpoints and lots of walking however lots of places to sit along the way and plenty of small shops providing snacks and some provide food like hotdogs at £8.50 a pop. I much prefer this zoo to London zoo, I feel like you have better sight of the animals in comparison. One other perk about this zoo is that you can drive around the grounds with an additional fee. There is also free parking with easy access to the zoo. There is also an app with a live moving map which helps you navigate around the park very good.

We had a wonderful day out with the family. It’s a large venue, so comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. Families with young children may find a buggy useful, as there’s plenty of ground to cover. Visitors can bring their own packed lunch or enjoy the selection of cafés and restaurants available throughout the site and near the entrance.

First time visiting, absolutely loved it, an amazing day. The enclosures were lovely and spacious, all areas lovely and clean, staff we spoke to were so helpful. We had afternoon tea at view point, which was lovely and the staff really friendly. The day was just brilliant, would highly recommend a visit.

Had a fantastic time visiting whipsnade zoo .. travelled all the way from North Wales.. Easy to find and access ♿ parking was just great for my wife. So much to see and do here for the whole family.. Loved seeing how much open area the animals had to enjoy compared with other zoos.. The zoo covers quite an area.. and it can be explored many ways..foot. train..or by car... Yes if mobility is an issue like my wife it can still be easily explored.. We seen a bus going around..sign simply said..Hail bus driver to stop..jump on a train which was around £5 .. Otherwise drive the car around and stop and explore where you want.. plenty of parking on the side of the road... please drive safely!!.. There is part of the zoo where you can only explore by car or taking the train.. Feels like your on safari.. amazing time When we visited they were giving the flamingo's a health check.. you were invited to ask anything you wanted.. Fantastic interactive experience Cafés , toilets and picnic areas are ample and dotted around the park.. Gift shop as like most places near the exit... Would love to visit again in the future as one visit is simply not enough to see and enjoy everything whipsnade has to offer...

Whipsnade Zoo is in a beautiful location of Dunstable Downs, there is a free car park off site and charge for car to enter, blue badges are free, you can drive around the whole park and there is parking spots at each area of the Zoo so you can view the animals at safe distance. It’s a favourite Zoo of mine due to care of the animals and the enclosures are well maintained. If you visit now you may find parts of the Zoo is being improved and some enclosures updated and cleaned, so some of the animals are relocated, the kangaroos are free roaming the zoo and can be approached but best respect nature. The only part of the experience that requires the most improvement is the toilets most are not regularly cleaned or look clean, the restaurants and food vendors do not offer quality food, the sandwiches were not that appetising and the hotdogs were served in baguette, I didn’t understand the combo nor did my palate. Not that they need a fast food chain there but better menu of food and quality would justify the insane prices like £2 for a bag of crisps. Overall I still recommend this as a great family day out but bring your own lunches and snacks.

THE BUS IS BRILLIANT! Whipsnade is an awesome zoo but the bus service elevates the experience even further! Lots of walking and make sure you dress warmly, but if you get tired legs then the bus is perfect. Can't fault it. Such a friendly driver (Gary) and they come round every 20 mins. Thank you so much

This zoo is possibly one of my favorite ones I have been to. The animals have so much space and the possibility to just hide away if that is what they want. We were there on a cloudy temperate day that made the animals more active so we got to see a lot of them. We saw the penguin talk and the bird show, both are very much recommended, but especially the bird show was super well done and very enriching. I have been about 5 times the last ten years and every time has been a great experience.

Honestly one of the best days out I've ever had with my daughter. Gorgeous, well maintained paths everywhere. Bird hides to watch over the lakes (while she napped). A big, airy cafe with delicious coffee. Lovely museum with staff who clearly adore what they do! We had so much fun talking to the people who were making a dugout canoe with bronze age tools, and exploring the garden, especially after seeing the spinning and weaving and learning about the plants that make the dyes. My daughter adored playing in the adventure play, of course. There's running water and sand, cute little play beach huts, a mural, slides, more than enough to entertain a toddler for hours! It was really lovely and plenty of seating and shade all around. We will definitely be back with my husband for another full day and hopefully add in some cycling 😊😊 Overall, really cannot say enough about how great the site was but even more so how wonderful every staff and volunteer was everywhere we went during our visit. The kindness, patience, and passion was just beyond what you could ask and we really appreciate it!

Absolutely lovely day out with all of my family which included 19 13 13 10 & 10 year old. There was so much to do and see around the whole of the lakes. My kids especially loved the assault course as did my partner (a little to much if you ask me) 😅. The only thing that I found was missing was bins on the walk ways I understand its for safety reasons but the amount of plastic bottles that were just dropped on the floor was awful. My kids did pick up the bottles they could whilst walking round but had to keep hold of them until the bin at the playground area. Other than that we had a fantastic time. Finished of with a lovely picnic near the playground for my youngest 2.

Love visiting here! Went to a netwalking event held in their conference room with walk around small lake. Facilities were clean and food was delicious (bacon sandwich). Great provision for tea, coffee and selection of cold drinks for the event. Staff were friendly and helpful. Outside facilities are the best part, beautiful nature and well kept paths. Usually you need to pay for car park but as we were at an event, parking was free.

I recently spent a few hours at Stanwick Lakes Country Park (Northamptonshire) and had a thoroughly relaxed and memorable time. The setting is beautiful — wide open spaces, shimmering lakes, and plenty of winding paths through nature. Whether you’re walking seriously or just pottering, the place has a lovely peaceful pace. There’s also an impressive adventure playground (and zip-line/assault-course type features) that means if you’re with kids you’ll very likely hear squeals of delight from the central hub of the park. On the nature side, it’s just as good. The bird-hides, wetland spaces and trails provide a chance to slow down, sit on a bench and watch things happen quietly around you. It’s not just manic play and activity—there are corners of genuine calm and reflection. Like all UK parks do go prepared if it’s been raining: as paths can be muddy and may be dry foot wear

What a great place! So much for the kids to do and see. The water feature is great, the climbing frame is well kept and very safe. The toilets are always kept clean and there is a great choice for food and drinks. Actually they have really nice coffee which is rare. Would be good with a few more benches as there is only a few compared to how many visitors they get but bring a picnic blanket and you'll be fine

A very lovely Nature Reserve. Trails are great for riding on, there's lots to see and do. Very pretty area to visit. And the play areas for kids are fantastic too!

Spent a couple of hours here with my daughter this morning. After building a Minecraft money box, ice scream and bacon roll in the cafe, spent just over an hour trolling the outdoor play area, taking a beating from the vertical twisty slide lol.. The venue has lots to offer , walks and activities, including the previous indoor play area now used for arts and crafts.. nice little venue for the children and adults alike. Friendly polite staff and informative of upcoming events , such as trails , arts and crafts etc..

Was able to visit this vast historic ground that was the Palace of King Henry Vlll some 500yrs ago. Took pictures of the ongoing renovations, the river canal with pier, the gardens Hampton Court Palace, located on the River Thames in southwest London, is one of England’s most famous royal palaces with a rich and complex history: Early History: Built in 1514 by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, the powerful chief minister to King Henry VIII. Wolsey transformed the site into a lavish Renaissance palace, but as he fell out of favor with the king, he gifted it to Henry VIII in 1528 to avoid disgrace. Tudor Era: Henry VIII greatly expanded the palace, making it one of his main residences. He added the Great Hall, Tudor kitchens, and royal apartments. It was a favorite residence of his and played host to numerous important events, including marriages, births, and political dealings. Stuart Period: Under James I and Charles I, the palace remained a royal residence. Charles I was imprisoned at Hampton Court briefly before his execution in 1649. Baroque Transformation: In the late 1600s, William III and Mary II commissioned architect Sir Christopher Wren to modernize the palace in the Baroque style, intending to rival Versailles. Much of the Tudor palace was replaced, but the project was never fully completed, leaving a unique blend of Tudor and Baroque architecture. Later Use and Preservation: The palace ceased being a royal residence in the 18th century, though it housed grace-and-favor residents (people granted accommodation by the monarch) for many years. It’s a great day out with a lot to see and do, however it was a little lacking especially when considering value for money. We went during Halloween and a lot of effort was made for that which was great. The cafes served good food was a good selection but was on the pricey side! Facilities were good and staff were friendly and helpful. They have. Car park but you have to get there early, we just kissed out but there is car parking at the train station just over the bridge.

If you want to explore a beautifully maintained castle with an abundance of history then this is a place you need to visit when in London. An easy 45min Train ride from central London gets you here. Tickets include an audio guide with multiple tour options covering the history of the palace, the Tudor Dynasty and descriptions of the many ornate rooms. The Palace and grounds are sprawling so expect to spend at least a half a day here.

Really disappointed in this whole experience. We went on a Friday, it was pretty busy but not entirely unexpected. We felt like there was a lot of emphasis put on Henry VIII's palace, however, there seemed little reference to him living there overall. There wasn't any atmosphere and a lot of rooms were empty - it just looked quite empty overall. It was also extremely hot inside, and the lack of airflow was stifling. We thought it would be a loy more regal and extravagant than what was on offer. We were extremely disappointed to learn that the banqueting hall and other areas are currently closed to the public. Bearing in mind our tickets were £80.00 for 3 adults, we didn't feel that we got overall value for money. The gift shop was much of a muchness, usual expensive crap made in China. The cafe was ridiculously expensive for the quality of food on offer, and flies were crawling all over the food on display which had not been covered up. The vegetable patch and gardens were fabulous and the highlight of the day, the exterior architecture is fabulous aside from that, thoroughly disappointed. The staff were also grumpy and not very forthcoming in sharing and tips or highlights, and we were made to feel an inconvenience for asking questions.

Meh. OK, I'm glad we went only to say that we've been, and the gardens (even in November) and the Royal Chapel (the highlight of the visit for us) were wonderful, but everything else was pretty blah, even with the all the history. Lots of empty rooms. Plus at 28 pounds a person (oy!!), it was a big hit to the budget. It was overrun by school tour groups on the day we went, which didn't help either. Save your money and join the National Trust instead.

Nowhere else in the world will you find a Tudor palace seamlessly paired with a Baroque one. For anyone interested in English history and architecture, this is among the very best places to visit. The palace is currently undergoing renovation, which is expected to be completed next June. If you can wait, it may be worth coming back then.

A great day out. The staff are very knowledgeable, approachable and enthusiastic. The kitchen garden and formal gardens are excellent, lots of fabulous art on display. You can get a free audio tour if you want, or just wander. You can buy food there, but it isn't cheap - BLT baguette cost me an eye-watering £9.50. It was very nice, but, wow! You can park in the grounds, but you will need to book. There is a second official car park 5 minutes walk away that doesn't need booking. The cost of car parking was £1.80an hour. We paid for 7 hours and had just under an hour to spare. PS - when you're outside, don't forget to look up! The chimney stacks on the palace are amazing! PPS - it's cheaper if you book on line, and cheaper if your children had Blue Peter badges.

We visited here for the first time ever last weekend, despite our Daughter living in London. We bought tickets online so that upon arrival they were promptly scanned, no queue whatsoever. Where do I start, the gardens are stunning and the place is so vast. We walked around the perimeter path to start, then we walked everywhere, the large glass houses and conservatories are amazing, there is so much to see. Amenities are great, lots of choices for food, we ate at a Orangery restaurant in the grounds under the grape vines (al fresco dining) the food was amazing, where a main with drinks was only £66 for 3 adults. These gardens are predominantly wheelchair accessible too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Treetop Walkway (which has a lift and stairs) so pushchair users were also able to go up, the views were fantastic. The day was warm, so there were families enjoying picnics in the relaxing grounds. Prepare to sieve a whole day, and for the entrance fee considering this is London, we found the prices to be very reasonable indeed. There is just so much for the whole family. Facilities are extremely good too, with accessible toilets, changing places toilet, baby feeding room, baby change, shop, cafe, information, and water fountains throughout the gardens, there is also a prayer/reflections room, and finally a bus stop. Visiting is a must.

Great experience with really a lot of different impressions: - areas with plants from all over the world - treetop walkway Kew Gardens is renowned for its extraordinary glasshouses, which house diverse plant collections from across the globe. The key glasshouses include: - The Palm House: Built between 1844 and 1848, the Palm House is one of the most iconic Victorian glasshouses. It features a tropical rainforest environment and hosts many rare and endangered tropical plants, including the oldest potted plant in the world, - Temperate House: The largest Victorian glasshouse in the world, the Temperate House houses around 10,000 plants of 1,500 species from regions including Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas. - Water Lily House: Built in 1852 and designed by the same architect and ironmaker as the Palm House, the Water Lily House shelters aquatic plants including tropical water lilies. - King George III‘s house King George III’s house in Kew Gardens is known as Kew Palace, also called the Dutch House. Originally built in 1631 as a silk merchant’s mansion, it became the smallest royal palace and served as the summer home of King George III in the 18th century. George III and his wife Queen Charlotte spent many happy summers there with their large family. The palace and its gardens provided a private, intimate retreat from public life, where the king could live more normally without the usual royal ceremony. Really a great experience and you have to plan enough time - or even several visits.

Amazing and beautiful...not enough time in one day so we will be back. We had lunch in the Brasserie and the food was delicious and service was great ...a little pricey though. Also whilst the Christmas light trail is on the Glass Houses close at 2.30 and you need to exit by 3.15 which made the trip a little shorter. Parking is also £9 for the day - which during the shorter opening times at the moment could be reduced?

A true uncut Diamond of london the best of the best. It truely beats all the other london attractions hands down.oh this jackdoor. Was very very smart he shared lunch with us very charming and clever bird. It was a wonderful day .

What can you say about what is one of the best botanical gardens in the world. Love the Marianne North Gallery. The cafes/restaurants are various and should cater to most needs. So much to see at any time of year. Just missed the best of the autumn leaves display on this visit. Took a liking to the Princess of Wales conservatory. A must for any fan of cactii. Also, lots of sculptures around at this time of year ready for the Christmas light show.

Kew Gardens is beautiful- we went on the coldest wettest day and still spent a few hours wondering through the gardens, exploring the greenhouses and stopped at THE ORANGERY for lunch. It was clean with a great selection of food, and friendly helpful staff. We ended up signing up for a year’s membership and are looking forward to going back.

(October) Some pathways and buildings were closed for the season. Large, busy gift shop at the main Victoria entrance, with plants and many souvenir/gift items. Only two cashiers on duty at a busy time meant I opted out of my intended small purchase. Signage throughout the gardens is quite good. Fall colours, Syon Outlook, Treetop Walkway, Temperate House, Great Pagoda, Queen Charlotte’s Cottage, Kew Palace.

This English Heritage site is a decent home and gardens. The house doesn’t have tons to see - a few fairly empty rooms on the ground floor (library, drawing room, etc), a staircase, and 4-5 room exhibition. If you take the free wallpaper tour, it will take you upstairs to three rooms, and last around 30 minutes. Candidly I wasn’t sure about a wallpaper tour beforehand, but it was interesting and they provided extra tidbits about the room and family as well. However, there is not tons to see in the house otherwise - a few signs, and 15-20 minutes in the exhibition, which goes through the decor, sport, leisure, gardens, use in World War I, family, etc. Gardens: When we came, the main gardens were closed for high winds, so could only experience the smaller gardens closest to the house. Dairy sculpture garden: We also missed as wasn’t very well marked on signs. One room with a few sculptures nice to visit. (To access from the entrance, walk through the gardens nearest the house, and it’s on the opposite end/far side of the house.) Cafe has a nice selection of lunch and cakes, with options for both indoor and outdoor seating. Small shop with a few interesting options available. Kids play area looked well used. Parking is on grass outside the gate. Toilets clean though dated near the front. Single toilet also in the house.

I had a really enjoyable walk around the grounds, beautiful place to explore. Many different sights to see, nice woodlands, beautiful gardens and swans!! The house is large but the area you can explore is very small in comparison. They do have tours to explore the upstairs, next time I'm there i will try and check that out. The rooms you can see are beautiful. Staff are friendly, had a nice chat with a gentleman who explained the history of one of the rooms and where lots of the bits came from, very fascinating, thank you very much. Plenty of parking and clean toilets.

Really lovely day here. The grounds are fabulous with something around every corner. Amazing planted beds and conservatory. Enjoyed the round building at the end of the waterway and seeing the swans take off along the waterway. Great cafe with lots of choice, delicious cakes and tasty pastries. Very kind and helpful staff at every point. Good play area for the children too.

Such a lovely place, very dog and kid friendly! We really enjoyed the garden tour, and it’s great that there are a few different tours available each day of the week. You just need to get your free tickets from the shop. It was quite busy, but I’m blaming the perfect weather, school holidays, and the fact that we went on a Sunday. The volunteers were all so helpful and knowledgeable, which made the visit even better. Overall, we really liked it, a perfect day out with the family!

A charming house with large amounts of parkland, beautifully kept by English Heritage. The entrance fee for adults before any concessions is £22 but well worth it. Dogs welcome on leads. Bring your own sandwiches or use their cafe and you could easily spend the day here exploring the house and huge outdoor areas. I found all staff and the volunteers particularly charming (much more so than at some National Trust locations). Highly recommended.

As a proud member of English Heritage, I love exploring the many historic sites they care for — and with over 400 properties under their care, Wrest Park truly stands out as one of the gems! Wrest Park is a fantastic place to visit. The expansive grounds offer endless space to wander and take in the beautiful scenery. If you get tired, an electric buggy service is available to take you closer to the garden entrance — very handy! Just be sure to keep an eye out for it, as it’s constantly on the move and easy to miss. The staff were exceptionally friendly and well-informed, making the experience even more enjoyable. The house itself is stunning — steeped in history and filled with elegant, detailed rooms that feel like stepping back in time. A heartfelt thank-you to the team for helping me retrieve my lost necklace. They found it the following day and kindly reached out to return it — such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. With plenty of benches to rest on, peaceful surroundings, and a welcoming atmosphere, Wrest Park is an absolute must-visit for anyone in the area — especially if you’re an English Heritage member!

Nice place to spend a few hours and not too far from home. Went on a Monday in October so was a bit misty and damp, but quiet . Had a look around the house and grounds, then popped into cafe, which was very busy. Nice selection of cakes.

I live in London, and visiting this city and this cathedral was one of the most beautiful experiences I had over the weekend. It was truly enjoyable. St Albans Cathedral is absolutely stunning — it feels like every wall and door has a story to tell, as if they’ve witnessed countless events over the centuries. The atmosphere is peaceful yet powerful, and walking through the cathedral felt like stepping into history. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves architecture, history, or simply beautiful places.

A magnificent architectural with loads of history and story. We visited in a weekday thus not crowded at all. You will be embraced by a deep sense of peace and afford to slow down to appreciate the view around you. Worth a visit together with the town.

The sheer scale of St Albans Cathedral, a structure of profound history and weight, provided the perfect canvas for the Poppy Fields light installation by Luxmuralis last night. It was more than an event; it was a deeply moving, sensory experience designed for quiet contemplation and remembrance. The massive, soaring architecture of the Nave, usually bathed in the soft glow of natural light or high electric lamps, was utterly transformed by darkness and vibrant digital projection.

This an absolutely stunning building dating originally from the Norman period but with additions over the centuries. The place was a pilgrimage site long before the Norman's arrived and the tomb of St Alban is still a pilgrimage site today. The cathedral possesses the longest nave of any cathedral in Britain and there are a number of medieval frescoes still visible; fascinating even if somewhat faded.

Being there you imagine that the place is nearly 1000!!!!! Years old. Some buildings were built from the Romans bricks. It is the oldest and one of the most significant church in England. This church saw everything. Besides that, town is beautiful, going there you should have enough time. It is hard to find the parking lot.

Absolutely enjoyed my visit. A stunning place that showcases its long history through a mix of architectural styles. I just loved every single detail, from the floor and columns to the ceiling.

Enjoyed our visit there. They have a free guided tour of the cathedral which runs for about an hour; I strongly recommend it. The entry is free too!

Just back from an epic day at the Herring Green farm. My family and I had booked my husband an eagle experience which I would highly recommend. The falconer Erin was fantastical she took time to show us so many of the eagle and some eagle owls. My husband held and flew the massive beautiful birds and really enjoyed his experience. We had young children with us and there was lots to play on and keep them amused. All staff were very welcoming and friendly We went on a Sunday and it was very quiet which was perfect for us to look around.

Absolutely fantastic day out. Got the deal through virgin experiences and had an amazing day. The lady Lisa was so informative and clearly had a huge love for all the birds. Going to book to go back

On the positive side -The woman that did the display was fantastic. She really knew her stuff, she answered everyone’s questions and was entertaining. - Lots of amazing beautiful birds when we walked around in cages and used in the display. - They released lot of birds at a time to music which was really good to see so many flying at the same time. On the negative side - The receptionist was rude to all 4 of us when we arrived. She was clearly annoyed she had given us 4 stickers before our 2 other friends had arrived, like we’d deceived her for some reason ! She also denied telling us to wait in the field as the display had started elsewhere. We all very negative about the place before we’d even started. - The display group was far too big. We were in a group of 28 people so when the birds were being passed around we waited for ages before we could hold the birds. Also taking part in the displays took ages to include everyone. So became very boring which was a shame because the display was good otherwise. Overall, good quality but needs to be smaller groups 1/2 the time, and better reception.

Absolutely love this place. We've been here a few times now and every time I come away with some new nugget of information I never knew about the wonderful birds they have there. All the staff clearly love what they do, and what they do is so important not just for the birds but for educating the people that visit.

I booked the 3 hour falconry experience for my dad, partner and child. They said it was absolutely brilliant and completely exceeded expectations. We were worried that 3 hours was too long and that the rain would ruin the morning, but they said it was jam packed, the group was lead by Laura who was great, there were sooo many amazing birds that each member of the group got an opportunity to hold, they watched a great display and learned a lot. The rain didn't put them off at all and everyone left very happy. On a different note, my partner said the coffee in the coffee shop was the worst he had ever tasted in his life! I did have a look and opted to go into Bedford instead to have a coffee and wait for them to finish. I guess the facilities could be better but that's not what they were there for.

The centre has a wide range of birds of prey and a good flying exhibition. Small people can also hold an owl, which is quite special. The rest of the facilities are looking rather tired - for example there were lots of nettles growing round the kids activity area. It’s not too expensive so, on balance, a good half day out for the family.

I had a 2 hour bird of prey experience and the guy in charge “Riley” was an absolute professional as well as having a sense of humour. Riley was very health and safety conscious and explained everything so we understood the birds and there behaviour whilst holding them. Riley was very knowledgeable and explained everything about each bird in a calm and controlled manner,I could easily relate and understand him completely. Each bird I held was an amazing experience from Owls all the way upto a Bald Eagle with Riley by my side watching and reassuring me every step of the way. As a member of the RSPB I could identify most of the birds but Riley’s knowledge was supreme. Riley is a massive asset to the Farm and his customer service was the best I’ve ever seen a true professional at all times. Thankyou so much for the experience of a life time 10/10 I highly recommend this bird of prey experience to anyone.i hope you remember me the big tall guy who needed a bigger glove,Thankyou again.

Really great stadium, was lovely seeing England beat Wales 3-0. The crowd was great, and it was interesting watching people try to fly paper aeroplanes onto the pitch. Great view of the pitch and the fireworks were good.

Simply incredible. Very well designed stadium which is straightforward to get into and out of and one of the best atmospheres in the country. Absolute must to see an England game here.

Great stadium, loads of food choices near by and shops if you have time. Be aware that there is a no bag policy, so don't bring a bag (you can bring a v small bag, details at the Wembley website)

Excellent ground that is befitting of the venue of our national stadium. We parked in red parking which was literally next to the ground. 5 minutes walk and we were in the queue which went down very quickly. Once inside a good range of food, albeit at very London prices. Chicken tenders were top notch. Will definitely visit again. 👍🏼

We went to watch England vs Australia in the first Rugby League Ahes Test. While the Aussie's were by far the better team, we had a great day out. The travel was easy, we booked space on a Wembley resisdents driveway for £25. An 8 minute walk to the stadium. Food in the Box Park, and soaked up the atmosphere. Wembley is a great stadium.

Wembley Stadium is such an amazing place for a match or event. The light shows before the games always look incredible, and there are plenty of good seating options for decent prices. Tickets are usually quite affordable too, which is great for such a big venue. There are loads of toilets around (including accessible ones), and plenty of food and drink stands both inside and outside the stadium. You can also grab a match programme for about £5, which makes a nice souvenir, or pick up merchandise like shirts, hats, and keyrings. The stadium’s easy to get to by tube, and there’s parking on site as well. Plus, there are loads of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby, including a big outlet park. The staff are always friendly and helpful too, which makes the whole experience even better. The only downside is how busy it gets after matches. It can be a nightmare trying to leave when the station is packed, and a few times we’ve had to leave early just to beat the crowds and get home at a decent time.

First time at Wembley for Coldplay and it wasn’t just the concert that was amazing. Wembley staff were friendly, stewards were super helpful. It was a great atmosphere and super safe. Travelling by tube was easy and a short walk up to the ground just helps build the excitement. Plenty of food stands and drinks inside along with merchandise. We elected to go Experience by Wembley, so we were in VIP on Level two. Recommended for sure.

What a great place! And free to visit! Generous displays with cosy feel, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and assortment of planes and other vehicles. I appreciate so much how everything was well designed with the flow of walking around, feels like you didn't miss out and walking back and forth. I really enjoyed seeing more information about people behind, their names and stories, not just machinery. Lots of things to listen and interact with, but unfortunately, so many not working! I guess donations are needed. Shame that 4D theatre was not available, too, but we still took opportunity with Typhoon simulator and our 5 year old enjoyed it very much. Twice 😄 Great outdoor playground for kids, restaurant has an exciting food selection (finally some salads!) and reasonably priced for London. All areas are easily accessible with plenty of toilet facilities around. Museum shop has great selection of items/products. Spent a fortune there! Plenty of parking available.

Fantastic museum! Very well laid out across several buildings, all easily accessible. The planes and other displays are presented perfectly, with the chance to walk between the aircraft, so you definitely get a feel for the scale of them. It is great to follow through from 1st world war era planes right through to more modern day items. The information relating to the items on display is really interesting and well presented, which all adds to the experience. Treat yourself to a visit to this museum....you won't regret it (and the on-site cafe is great as well.....perfect chips and friendly helpful staff 👍).

The scale is breathtaking and you can't help but feel the history given that the museum site was an important base during the Battle of Britain. Each hanger has been set out thoughtfully for maximum effect and there are some additional pay to access experiences. My only gripe is that the interactive experiences were either not working and certainly not intuitive but I can't mark down the museum for this as everything else about it was brilliant. Would recommend that you make a day of it as it's the only way to fully experience what is a brilliant museum.

Amazingly cared for, staff was unbelivably kind and informed, food court tasty and widely ranged, and the visit was incredible as a whole. We paid for the cheapest Spitfire experience and the lovely man who told us everything there was to know about the plane honestly made us wish we had paid for the 40 min experience instead of the short one. We were really happy with this opportunity. The toilets are spotless, which is something difficult to say in any place in London, the hangars were interesting and well-divided. Overall, such a great experience if we are ever in London again we will repeat without a doubt.

This amazing site is free to enter, yes free. Plenty to see and get close to the aircraft that have been central to RAF heroics for 105 years. See the stories of the brave hero's that decided that safety of their country was more important than their own life. Excellent museum showing the history of RAF from yesteryear till today. Overwhelming amount of flying, and not flying contraptions to behold. Take your time and reserve at least half a day to properly take in everything. Activities for children can be found and also a pleasant cafe. You can also spend your life savings buying souvenirs…

Oh. wow, you could spend literally days here and not see everything. You do need to get tickets prior to coming but to be honest, I didn't know that so I did it on line and it came through almost immediately and so it didn't impinge on me getting in at all. Certainly if your interested and like to read the entries. I am interested and I spent four hours, which was only scratching the surface. I had tea and cake which was excellent and did something I very rarely do, I bought some items from the shop, a Red Arrows cap for my grandson and an RAF tee-shirt, indulging myself. Considering this exhibition is free I can honestly say it is exceptional value for anyone, including families. The parking is fairly expensive by Yorkshire standards, but probably not by London. As you can read I was bowled over by the amount of exhibits which are grouped into buildings which form a historical timeline from the pre-inception days when it was a gentleman's hobby, into the first world war and the meteoric rise in the speed, manoeuvrability and firepower. Then on to the second world war, Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster and Halifax, to name but a few of the famous names. Then on through the Jet age into the present day, with the RAF's latest fighter/Bombers and missiles. Awesome, absolutely awesome and I will most definitely be back to finish my tour and maybe just go round again because I will most certainly have missed loads.

Kensington Palace was stunning. The exterior architecture and interior artworks, styling, ceiling paintings, and flooring were terrific to view. A new designer exhibit showcased a range of clothing influenced by various royal eras. The artwork in the King's Gallery was stunning, and the wallpaper in a hallway was designed with different Diana images. The exterior sculpture of Queen Victoria is excellent. There is a cafe and toilets in Kensington Palace.

Great palace to visit. The scheduled talks are absolutley amazing , i strongly recommend you take time out of your visit to listen to them. Most sections of the museum felt filled to the brim with interesting things to see. A few sections felt a bit empty but not many. Entry is slightly confusing with queues forming outside before the scheduled entry time. Great audio guide too.

Visited on my last day in London for a last little cultural detour. It was really lovely, easy to find my way around and the audio guide was perfect. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to see a little history and you don’t have much time (took me approx an hour).

Always love visiting the palace and this was for the Dress Codes exhibition. That was small but amazing to see. Loved the gift shop and bought another tea towel. The cafe was almost closing when I went but still served me. Great staff.

I’ve seen the palace and that’s amazing. Very surreal feeling knowing the history of the rooms you’re walking through. I had actually visited the cancel before but was back to attend the Dress Codes exhibition. I thought that was disappointing, I expected to see a lot more, but the palace is great.

What a wonderful place this is your visit, especially if you're a history lover or architecture enthusiast! I absolutely adored the rambling Gardens with a choice of different length walks, the cafe was very relaxed with a range of food and drinks but the highlight for me was the incredible tour of the old Elizabethan building by very knowledgeable and friendly Dermot! What a pleasure it was to enjoy such an in depth and interesting talk by such an experienced gentleman. We would definitely visit again!!

Visited the gardens only. Some of the most beautifully curated public gardens in SE England. Very lucky to be able to visit the East Garden which is only open to the public on certain Wednesdays. Some nice woodland walks as well although I would have to say that these aren't fantastically signposted.

It was very lovely place to visit. Free parking and only short walk to the house and gardens. Very brilliant, smiley and pleasant people work there, it was not a problem for them to help us use the lift a few times,so thank you.! It makes the visit so much easier and nicer. It's not easy to get around everywhere if you have a buggy or especially the walker.. Very recommend this place to visit!

What a gorgeous hidden gem just north of London crammed full of history. Very knowledgeable and helpful guides in each room. Check out their website as they put on ‘festival’ type events. The grounds are well kept. Only downside for me was you have to pay extra to go into the palace (£8 I believe). The ‘marmite’ fountain at the back of the house is interesting. I loved it. I will definitely be back.

I don't even know where to start to describe this fantastic place! We spent about five hours there and loved every single minute of it. There is just so much to see! We first visited the Gardens, which are stunning. Then we spontaneously opted for a guided tour of the Old Palace, which absolutely blew us away. I must admit that when we had decided to visit Hatfield House, we weren't even aware of the Old Palace and its significant history, so it felt like an extra bonus. Our guide was not only very knowledgeable, but also extremely engaging - a pure joy to listen to and get lost in the stories from days gone by. And then the house itself, which is absolutely marvellous in every respect. The staff in each of the rooms were genuinely eager to tell their story and engage with the visitors, so we were able to have long chats, which we thoroughly enjoyed! A long walk to the Oak Tree and back completed our visit, which exceeded our expectations by far. It didn't go unnoticed that unlike most historic houses in Britain, the gift shop was mostly stocked with local produce, rather than the usual souvenirs. But although we couldn't find anything to buy, we didn't even mind that. I got the feeling that despite all its fascinating history and splendour, Hatfield House doesn't seem nearly as commercialised as many similar places (we were surprised about the small number of visitors in the middle of summer), and that would actually seem a good thing. As a result, our visit had a very intimate touch, and we felt individually valued, rather than being a part of big masses of tourists passing through. Our visit turned out to be the highlight of our 10-day holiday in the UK!

Huge gardens & park with multiple routes for avid walkers / dog walking & a fantastic set up for a lovely morning / family day out. Easy parking, we visited their shops and cafe in their entry area, headed to the loo, got ice cream and made our way around their grounds in a beautiful sunny day! Might feel expensive for a walk but a worthy day out for family / friends and a great adventure location with food, facilities, and beautiful nature! Head here for a great day out when the sun is up!

You can feel the history at Hatfield house. You have the spectacular house, built by Robert Cecil, along with the old palace, where Elizabeth 1st and Edward would have been bought up. You can almost imagine them playing in the wonderful West Gardens as you walk around. The staff are full of information and love to share their wealth of knowledge, just ask. After the house, we went for a walk through the woods, down to the picturesque river. My mother is in a wheelchair, but we had no problems getting around. Everywhere is accessible. Just be prepared for some inclines in the woodland walks.
