(Translated by Google) Location in Behzat. On the main bazaar, easily accessible from Gaziosman Paşa. First of all, they have done a very nice Mevlevihane layout, I especially liked the presence of old books. There is also a semah on the upper floor, which is animated with subject models. However, it would be better if relevant music was put in the background.

(Translated by Google) It is located on Behzat Boulevard, between Behzatı Veli Mosque and a small park. It was built by a master named Hristo by Sultan Abdülhamit in 1902, visible from all over the city. Its gate is in the south direction and its height is 33 meters. It is made of cut stone. II. It was built by Governor Bekir Pasha and Mayor Mütevelli's son Enver Bey, with the help of the public, for the 25th anniversary of Abdulhamid's becoming sultan. Its voice can be easily heard from every district of the city. Clock towers in many places are not working, but this tower has been working for 117 years. Ahmet Unan, who has been carrying out his watchmaking profession under the clock tower, inherited from his philanthropic father named Ahmet Unan, for the last 25 years, climbs 133 steps every 8 days and winds this clock, which works with weights on the ends of 2 ropes hanging down from the chimney. He both maintains the clock tower and does clockwork under the clock tower. You will hear the gong sound every hour. The clock is ticking. Abdulhamid’in padişah oluşunun 25. yılı için halkın yardımlarıyla, mutasarrıf Bekir Paşa ve Belediye Reisi Mütevelli oğlu Enver Bey tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Sesi kentin her semtinden rahatlıkla duyulabilmektedir. This year, with meticulously completed comprehensive restoration work, the hamam has restored its elegance and grandeur while preserving its historical texture, offering guests a nostalgic and comfortable experience. Ali Pasha Hamam, which continues to preserve the traditional Turkish bath culture with separate sections for men and women, distinguishes itself with its spacious parking lot in the heart of Tokat and its professional scrub and massage services. It also offers a unique atmosphere, both historical and cultural, by transforming special occasions into unforgettable memories with its bridal and groom bath arrangements. Today, we came here to wash and have a scrub. The hamam is spotlessly clean, and everything is pristine. The marble is magnificent. The hamam is warm and warm. We felt refreshed. We found healing in the sauna and steam rooms. We lay down on the Devada navel stone, stretched out, and rested. Many thanks to all the hamam staff. It was a wonderful hamam experience for us. Very cool indeed. This is an ancient shopping plaza. Lol. It is 500 years old but now is filled with coffee shops. Good place to sit under the sun and have a soft drink. There are a variety of stores also but all are expensive tourist traps. Worth seeing definitely, but probably not ideal for shopping. May be souvenirs.

(Translated by Google) It is a building that I admired when I saw it. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to go inside, it was closed. According to written sources, it is a two-storey, open courtyard, two-iwan madrasah built by Muineddin Süleyman Pervane (d. 1277), one of the Anatolian Seljuk viziers. Its name comes from the turquoise colored tiles covering its walls. The exact date of construction is unknown, but it is thought to have been built in the middle of the second half of the 13th century. I hope you will have the chance to get into it on your next visit to Tokat. (Original) Gördüğümde hayran olduğum bir yapı. Maalesef içine girmek nasip olmadı kapalıydı. Yazılı kaynaklara göre Anadolu Selçuklu vezirlerinden Muineddin Süleyman Pervane’nin (ö. 1277) yaptırdığı iki katlı, açık avlulu, iki eyvanlı medrese. Adı, duvarlarını kaplayan turkuvaz renkli çinilerden gelmektedir. Kesin yapım tarihi bilinmemekte, 13. yüzyılın ikinci yarısının ortalarında yapıldığı sanılmaktadır. Umarım bir sonraki Tokat ziyaretinde içine girmek nasib olur.

Latioğlu Mansion, built on an "L" shaped plan with adobe filling material between wooden frames, has very rich wood, plaster and hand-carved decorations. The wooden ceiling, doors, chest of drawers and cabinet doors of the bath room are decorated with floral motifs. The baroque-shaped wooden ceiling core, cabinet and chest of drawers, and doors of the Pasha room reflect beautiful examples of wood craftsmanship. The poolside room on the second floor attracts attention with its gilt-painted wooden ceiling, as well as its walls decorated with flower motifs and depictions of Istanbul in panels. Ballıca Natural Park

National reserve
Nature & Parks
Comprising 7 levels, this 3.4 million-year-old cave features dramatic stalactite and stalagmites.
Ballıca Cave, also known as İndere, is a cave located in the Ballıca village of Tokat, in the Black Sea Region. The formation of Ballıca Cave, which is estimated to have begun approximately 3.4 million years ago, is approximately 680 meters long and 90 to 94 meters high. Entrance fee: 60 lira for adults, 30 lira for students
Asilbek M — Google review
Ballica Natural Park is beautifully located and known for its fascinating, fairly large caves. The rock formations are truly stunning – perfect for nature and geology lovers. Since the number of daily visitors is limited, it’s a good idea to book tickets in advance. A memorable place that’s definitely worth a visit!
Kasia Z — Google review
There is a very big underground cave and nature park here. Both are a definite must see. The cave is 650 meters long and there are amazing rock formations inside. Nature park has breathtaking views of the land. Admission is very cheap. 9 TL. If you are in the area, this is a must see.
Berk C — Google review
Viewing the formations in the Ballıca Cave is like visiting a natural museum. The age of the cave is nearly 3.4 million years old. Walking in the cave is a mysterious adventure. It is a place where all cave formations can be seen and is a wonder of nature. This cave has not yet even finished its formation. The Ballıca also helped those suffering from asthma due to its healing air. The oxygen level in the cave is more than the level outside. This is important for people with asthma, who may find the cure here.

It is 7 kilometers south of Pazar District Center and approximately 1 kilometer southeast of Ballıca Village. Ballıca Cave, whose age is determined as 3.4 million years, has a special position among its counterparts in the world. The entrance to the cave on the slope of a high, semi-rocky hill is provided through a partially smoothed bedrock block. Ballıca Cave, which was opened to visitors in 1996 with lighting, walking paths and viewing terraces, has a surface area of 10 thousand square meters. The most important characteristic feature of the cave, whose visible part is 94 meters high, is that it has "onion stalactite" formations. Another important feature of the cave is the presence of dwarf bats living in colonies.

Mahperi Hatun (Pazar) Caravanserai was built on the 29th kilometer of the Tokat-Pazar road, approximately 1 kilometer from the Pazar district, on a land sloping to the northwest in the southeast of the road. According to the four-line Thuluth calligraphy inscriptions on the courtyard and covered section portals, it was built in 1238 by Mahperi Hatun, the wife of Alaeddin Keykubad and mother of Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev II.

So this was pretty much a chance encounter as we drove from place to another. We wished we had more time as the breakfast (kahvalti) on display looked really good. There is not much parking in the immediate vicinity, but if you are happy parking on the other side of the road then you'll be just fine. Driving near by? Add it as a stop. Hungry at the same time? Why not grab a bite to eat? Free to enter.

Sızır Şelalesi

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of nature, Sızır Şelalesi is a charming waterfall that captivates visitors with its serene beauty. I stumbled upon this hidden gem while driving and decided to explore it during the vibrant spring season. The atmosphere here is incredibly calming, making it an ideal spot for families and friends to unwind together. If you're planning a visit, it's wise to park at the entrance rather than attempting to drive all the way down; navigating back up can be quite tricky!
We were there just fir the waterfall, so i can't comment for the restaurant. But it was literally a miracle. Wish we could stay longer.

Currently cannot come very near it, they are constructing some sort of walkway there. If you ask the construction workers nicely to take photos they do allow you to go halfway down the stairs. I liked the location of the hotel on the first floor with a balcony, a large room, comfortable beds, green trees all around and it all made me feel very good and I relaxed and enjoyed it as much as possible. What caught my attention the most was that it still preserved its scent. The responsible security will show you around the museum and provide information. It might be useful to have more informative text under the works. It is a place that anyone who goes to Yozgat should definitely visit. (Translated by Google) Yozgat Museum (Nizamoğlu Mansion) was included in the scope of antiquities that need to be protected in 1975 by the High Council of Real Estate Antiquities. The mansion, located in Yozgat Central Istanbulluoğlu District, was built in 1871, was used as a residence for many years, and served as a "Girls' Art School" for a while and a "Tekel Warehouse" for a while. Konak, which was nationalized in 1979, was put into service as a "Museum" in 1985 after a major renovation. Archaeological works are exhibited in the lower floor halls of the museum, and ethnographic works are exhibited in the upper floor halls. The rare examples of 19th century painting in the upper floor rooms are noteworthy. Nizamoğlu Mansion was essentially opened as an Ethnography Museum. From 1985 to 2008, Yozgat Museum preserved its ethnographic display features, and with the latest arrangements, three halls reflecting the archaeological potential of the province were opened to visitors. Department of Ethnographic Works There are 2802 ethnographic works in the Museum, which was opened to visitors in 1985. Ethnographic works generally consist of works such as men's and women's clothing, kitchen utensils, various weapons, wooden materials, rugs and carpet weavings, manuscripts, and banners from the late Ottoman Empire and the first years of the Republic. Upper Floor Hall A famous horse carriage in the region, named "Mirror Bellows", donated by Salim KORKMAZ, one of the former mayors of Yozgat, is exhibited. In the iwan section, decorated wooden doors and storeroom doors belonging to destroyed examples of civil architecture and candlesticks brought from mosques are exhibited. Kitchen In the upper floor kitchen of the mansion, there are porcelain, ceramic, copper and wooden kitchenware from the Seljuk, Ottoman and Republican periods in display cases. Islamic Works Hall In this hall, there are display cases where a piece of the Kaaba Cover, lodge items and bronze items such as fountains and candlesticks are displayed. First Head Room This hall, located in the south-west corner of the upper floor, was arranged in accordance with its original use. It is furnished with bedri pillows on sofas, a barbecue, a large clock with legs, a gramophone, carpets and rugs. Second Head Room This hall, located in the south-east corner of the upper floor, also has a display consistent with its original use. There is also an organ from the end of the 19th century, brought from Yozgat High School, in the hall. Hall of Weapons Flintlock rifles used in the 18th and 19th centuries, handmade Karadağ pistols, swords and various war materials, as well as unique wooden and bronze artifacts, are exhibited in the showcases. Bridal Room A 19th-century bridal chamber with a brass bed, sewing machine, cradles, wooden chests of rugs and handicrafts has been brought to the present day with this hall. Department of Archaeological Works There are 1648 archaeological artifacts in our Museum, which was opened to visitors in 1985. The vast majority of these are mainly stone works. Yozgat Museum visiting hours: You can visit the museum, which is closed on Mondays, free of charge, between 08.30 and 17.00 on other days of the week. Alacahoyuk Museum

Mentioned on

Museum
History Museums
Alacahoyuk Museum, while modest in size compared to the nearby Hattusha/Bogazkale, offers a captivating glimpse into ancient history and archaeology. This site is particularly renowned for its impressive Sphinx Gate and postern tunnel, which are must-see features. Although the on-site museum has limited exhibits, visitors can explore significant artifacts at larger institutions like the Corum Archaeology Museum or Ankara's Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
It is next to the Alacahoyuk ruins. Very nice place after seeing the ruins. The history of the excavation is also very interesting. You should definitely visit this place!

Nice place to pass by on you way passing çorum. The entrance fees are almost free. Then there is a 2 floor mini museum with the excavated items. Next you can take a walk in the ruins of the old town. We visited in summer and grass was very high that we barely saw the ruins.

It's very old place . Amazingly old and clean atmosphere . If you know something about archeology it's will bee priceless experience. I recommended to explore from Internet before going there . The museum is a little bit big so 2-3 hour enough for more stuff .
Ahmet D — Google review
It's all part of the overall entrance fee, currency EUR3 for foreigners. Some of the exhibits are exact copies of the stuff from the Hattusa museum - literally copied paragraphs. But this one doesn't have its own charge. All good. Takes about 10 minutes.
Ford W — Google review
While certainly small compared to nearby Hattusha/Boğazkale, Alaca Höyük is still a fascinating place to visit if you're at all interested in history and archaeology. The Sphinx Gate and postern tunnel are especially interesting. To see what valuables were dug up at Alaca Höyük you'll need to visit the Çorum archaeology museum or Ankara's museum of anatolian civilizations as very little was left in the little on-site museum.
Jash R — Google review
Indoor museum is definitely not a rich one, half an hour is enough to see every item closely. Some of the items are not listed in display (no numbers). Outdoor museum is also poor, the sphinx gate at the entry and kings tombs being the best.

Also, having BOTTOM HEATING is great. (Original) Altında mağza olmasa 5 yıldız verirdim. Duvarlardaki yukarıya doğru olan yeşil tonlar yakışmamış biraz onun dışında güzel cami. Ayrıca ALTTAN ISITMA olması muhteşem

(Translated by Google) Our mosques are temples that give peace to our body and soul. Mosque cleaning, environmental and toilet cleaning are perfect. (Original) Camilerimiz bedenimize ruhumuza huzur veren mabetlerdir. Cami temizliği, çevre ve wc temizliği dört dörtlük.

(Translated by Google) I recommend Mevlana and Konya to everyone. If you go to Mevlana and want a delicious, clean and cheap restaurant where you can eat local food, there is a restaurant of Selçuklu Municipality. I would definitely recommend it. (Original) Mutlaka görülmesi gezilmesi gereken huzur veren yer Mevlana ve konya herkese tavsiye ederim ve mevlanaya gidipte yöresel yemekler yiyeceğiniz nefis temiz ucuz restoran derseniz Selçuklu Belediyesi'nin restorantı var kesinlikle tavsiye ederim
