One of the cathedrals that is worth the entrance fee (payable in cash). Though small, the baptistery is quite impressive. Outside the cathedral also holds many interesting details to look at. Take the brochure once inside the cathedral to read. Is well laid out information. The cathedral ticket comes with a free visit to Civitas Sacra museum (can skip unless you need find a place to escape the sun).

I visited on a weekday to avoid the larger crowds. The cathedral is one of the most significant and stunning architectural landmarks in Croatia. Since I wasn’t wearing the appropriate clothing (shorts), I chose not to enter out of respect, so I was only able to admire its exterior. Even so, the façade was breathtaking, and I look forward to returning someday to experience the interior as well. For photography enthusiasts, this spot is truly postcard-worthy.

The cathedral & the whole of Šibenik old town are stunning. Get there early or stay late to avoid the crowds. You won't regret it

The must see in the cathedral is the small baptistery with carved ceiling. The 7€ entrance fee does also include the museum in a separate location. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to visit, so the fee is quite high. They only take cash too. They do provide a brochure in multiple languages so that you can do a self-guided tour, which is much better than many other cathedrals.

This is a natural miracle! Everything is well organized-after you buy the ticket, a boat takes you to the park in about 20 minutes. The whole journey is fantastic. Then waterfalls and paths within the park are very natural and amazingly.

An amazing series of waterfalls in a beautiful valley. I had not heard of Krka national park before visiting Croatia as it is not as well known as the Plitvice park but it is just as beautiful. We visited on a day trip from Split in late October. It is about 1 hour 20mins from Split. There are many different areas of the park and we visited Lozovac. Here there is a large free car park with free toilets near to the ticket office. The start of the waterfalls walk is in a valley about 1km from the ticket office. There is a regular shuttle bus every 15 mins or you can walk down a gravel path. We chose to walk down. The path is quite steep in places so you might want to use the shuttle bus to return as it is uphill on the way back. There are more toilets and a cafe near to the start of the boardwalk which is about 3.5km long and is suitable for buggies. There are lots of little streams and small falls but the main falls is near the end just after another cafe and some gift stalls. The whole valley is so beautiful, especially in the autumn and we got lucky on a cloudless sunny day.

Best to visit in sunny weather, beautiful waterfalls and lots of benches and restaurants within the park from skradin side. Very bad direction labelling, the trail is not clearly marked so we ended going around a circle instead of forward to the monastery :( Ask for directions along every way!

Fantastic natural parc! We took the boat from Skrandic and walked the whole round hike to the top and back again. Lot of wildlife and panoramic spots! Don't take a stroller with you, there are a lot of stairs and if you skip them, you'll miss many viewpoints.

Although its a museum of Krapina neanderthals, is actually much more. The museum showcases the history, human evolution and how we got to this point. The exhibition are very well made as curated. The building and the surroundings are amazing! I highly suggest it to everyone. It’s a great place to see something new, learn and be out in the nature. The tickets are cheap. It’s 10 EUR per person and 5 EUR for kids. Kids up to 3 years of age have free admission and there’s even a family ticket that covers 2 adults and 2 kids for 20 EUR. I personally suggest taking the audio guide as well. It’s very hand and costs only 2 EUR.

OK Museum. Most of the exhibits are from other sites, which was a bit disappointing. Not sure if I saw a single exhibit from there, and that's supposed to be one of the biggest fossil remain sites in Europe.

Great Place! I've learned a lot about my ancestors. The prices were kind of cheap, and the museum was pretty interesting. The only con about this museum is the level of language the staff had, we kind of had a hard time understanding each other. Note: The pictures weren't every single point of the museum just to not spoil it fully for you, it's only to show how it's like there.

Small quaint castle, just a short walk from the town center. They have a few restaurants and shops around the town center if you want to spend some more time.

Beautiful historic place that is a must when you visit Varaždin. You can easily spend a few hours exploring the museum since it is rich with history. It has exhibitions of few hundred years old weapons and guns, furniture, pottery, wardrobes and many other things local noble people used back then.

Beautiful city, I heard of it before, but never been before. Now when I did, I can tell Varazfin is wirth seeing place in Croatia. Very clean, beautiful, with lot of green, parks, and beautiful architecture. People are also very nice, and friendly which is very important for overall impression.

The castle museum is fun and full of content. There are rooms decorated in a variety of architecture styles as well as additional contents. It could be a bit boring for children, but if you're a lover of history and old castles, this is the perfect place for you in Varaždin.

Varaždin is my favorite town. Fell in love with it some 20 years ago when I first visited it. It's a pea eful, ordered little town with a captivating old Town and a small castle in the middle of it. Architecturally it's quite European. Romantic even. We visited it again this summer, during the Spancirfest event. It was such a pleasant thing to experience. Like a movie set for a timeless place with a sense of community, peace, respect for tradition yet free for self expression. The streets during this festival are dotted with store stands from local trades. We saw home made ham, pottery, lots and lots and lots of artwork, a couple was even selling Thai hats. There was a baker with a basket visiting these stands, selling pastry to the other sellers, and you could pick up from the non verbals that there's a dose of friendship and commeradery there. Something you simply don't get to see often. It was so idyllic that you'd want to record the whole thing and send it off to a movie festival. If you're close by, make sure to spend at least a day soaking up the event. If you're not near by, do yourself a favor: visit this little town during some of these festivals.

Wonderful castle with rich history and, luckily for us, many fun activities. We visited the Castle at the time of the Art Festival, where art workshops for kids were taking place. It was wonderful! At the castle you can see some interesting musical instruments, traditional masks, weapons and so on. We also enjoyed visiting the musum shop, which featured handmade products from local artists. Very worth the visit!

This is a lovely place to explore and to view the city below; it is also home to the one of the two oldest vine plants in the world and both are in Slovenia, this particular one being in the central court yard of the Castle.

If you are histoty nerd and you didnt visit Ptuj castle, you are missing out. The most beautiful castle in the region with spectacular view and museum.

We almost always go here for a wine tasting whenever we are in town. Go take a stroll through the display room, before you decide what kind of wine tasting you want to have. They use a tiered approach, so you can have young wines, medium or aged wines or a mixed selection. After you've been to to display room, you can point out which ones you want to try and avoid having to go through any that won't be to your liking. Service personel is well trained and can help you out if you are not as experienced in the regional wines, so don't be shy and just ask for help when you need it.

Really wonderful place made better by the staff. Clement walked us through 8 wines we tasted and was as knowledgeable and pleasay as you can imagine. People come to take a picture of the oldest vine in the world. They should stay for the wine.

Tried orange wine for the first time in Maribor, Slovenia — a peaceful spot by the world’s oldest grapevine (over 400 years old). The wine was soft with a lovely floral aroma. I really enjoyed it! The area is accessible, but the cobblestone paths make it a bit tricky for wheelchair users.

If you love wine you must stop and enjoy the oldest grapevine in the world. The wine is excellent and the hosts are extremely knowledgeable.

Zotter Chocolate Factory is a fantastic and exciting place to visit. The tour is beautifully designed, allowing you to walk through the factory and see every step of the chocolate-making process. The highlight is, of course, the unlimited tasting – you can try as many types and flavors of chocolate as you like, and it feels like a dream for any chocolate lover. While the price may seem high at first, you can easily spend several hours here, and the ticket also includes access to the small zoo and outdoor areas, making it a fun and relaxing day. A wonderful program for families and chocolate fans alike.

We, two adults, really enjoyed everything. We spent as long as we wanted inside the factory and sampled an incredible amount of excellent chocolate, including seeing the chocolate-making process. The entire tour was well-designed and stylish, with excellent views of the edible zoo, which is also beautiful. The large, well-maintained grounds are a pleasure to explore for both children and adults. I would have liked to have been able to buy coffee during the tour; that would have made tasting the chocolate even more enjoyable. The company store offers a delightful variety and a fantastic selection of gift sweets. We'll definitely be back.

An amazing experience. We visited during Lange Nacht der Museen(get ready to wait during the day) but totally worth during normal days too. There are insanely many chocolates to taste. From cocoa beans from different countries to dipped fruits, different stirring times to percentages. Impossible to try all the chocolates.

An absolutely amazing experience. It's located in a wonderful part of Austria. I highly recommend it to everyone - both kids and adults alike. We spent 3 hours just in the factory, and afterwards it was great to have something savory to eat outside. 😃 You can tase an unbelievable amount of delicous cohocolate. Afterwards, you can also stock up on your favorites in the shop. Most importanly, you can truly feel that this family-run-business is made with their heart and soul. The chocolate factory proved to be a fantastic destination for adults, though it was a bit challenging with our group of six children across two families. The tour starts strong with a very informative video that expertly explains the entire chocolate-making process, which the grown-ups thoroughly enjoyed. ​The true highlight is the factory tour's tasting experience: they claim to offer over 300 different samples, and while I gave it my best shot, it's safe to say no one can taste them all! The venue thoughtfully includes a pleasant "zoo" area with a few animals at the end, providing a nice space for kids to run around.

It is recommended to buy tickets in advance for faster entry. You can taste an incredible amount of chocolate (around 300 (!)), it is worth eating a little bit of everything because it can be too much by the end. 😅 I recommend it to everyone, it's worth the price!

Whose idea was to put that "SopronFest" poster all around the tower? It has no place there. By the time you see it, you're already in Sopron, so what's the point in ruining the most iconic building of the city. Well, putting that aside, go see the tower, read its history, spend some time going through the exhibition inside, climb the stairs and enjoy the view!!

The symbol of the city provides from its balcony a stunning view of the surroundings. In the basement a lapidarium with roman and medieval artefacts.

In awe of the buildings surrounding the area. Very peaceful and beautiful architectures. So much history of this place. Love every parts of the place.

I would say this represents the focal point of Sopron and with the great 360 degree views from the tower is definitely worth a visit. But you can combine this scenic experience with cultural interest by including the lapidarium which contains carved stone elements, some dating back to Roman times. Also if you go down to the basement you are standing on part of an ancient Roman road.

Wow, I’m incredibly impressed by this outlet. It might be one of the best I’ve ever been to. You could easily spend two full days going around the stores – prices in many of them are truly low, and the shopping is absolutely worth it.

It is outside of Vienna. W visited it on our way back to vienna from Bratislava. Amazing place very beautiful. You could easily spend whole day here. Very comfortable seating space with small restaurants. I bought chocolates from lindt store here. Douglas is also very good offers. Must visit place highly recommended

Loved the brand mix as well as the collection. Arriving here from Vienna city is also convenient through OBB. We took a shared taxi from the station that costed us 2.5 Euros per person. It was a comfortable short drive.

Most of the outlet is at full price! Its named outlet yet the prices are not outlet. There is only a small section in each store with a very minimal discount from original prices. The only store i entered that actually had outlet prices was Gucci! Food is expensive here too. The place is huge. Not worth the visit for me. Roermond outlet in Netherlands is way better although they are the same!!!

Not to be missed. No matter if you buy or not (you will), it's a pleasant and colorful shopping tour. Not cheap, it's not a bazaar, but you can get real brands of high quality for a very reduced price. Remember where you parked and take photos of the surroundings, the place is huge and it's easy to get lost there.

This church is so cute. The blue against the afternoon sky was a great to see. The church opens at 5.30 to 7pm but I was lucky there was a wedding going on so I was able to see the inside before it officially opened. But its definitely worth the visit.

I visited the Blue Church in Bratislava, and it truly feels like a fairytale building—almost like a big, beautifully decorated cake. The pastel blue color and unique Art Nouveau style make it stand out from anything else in the city. I was lucky enough to watch a music show inside, and the atmosphere was magical. The interior matched the charm of the outside, and the acoustics made the performance even more special. It’s not a big church, so you don’t need too much time to explore, but it’s definitely worth a visit for its one-of-a-kind design and peaceful vibe.

Its a very pretty place! Even the benches are a very pleasing pastel blue. Almost fairy tale like. The exterior makes you want to bite into this pretty fondont cake!!

Very unique looking church which was one of a kind. Not really in the most exciting part of the town but would recommend visiting during broad daylight by car. The inside of the church was closed but you could still look inside. Everything was very baby blue which I have never seen before. Definitely a must visit in Bratislava.

Its a Blue church, its very nice, but thats pretty much it, go check it out as its pretty unique but really thats it, if it was miles away id probably not bother but everything in Bratislava is pretty walkable

A unique little statue that attracts attention. Although it is not a large monument, it is still interesting and you can always see tourists taking pictures of it or having their pictures taken with the statue. I have passed it several times and there were always tourists around the statue. It is perhaps one of the most famous landmarks in the city.

Easily Bratislava’s most beloved and cheeky landmark - a bronze worker peeking out of a manhole, grinning up at passersby. It’s playful, funny, and a reminder not to take sightseeing too seriously. Locals say rubbing his head brings good luck (though judging by the shine, everyone’s already tried). Perfect photo spot, especially after a pint or two-you can’t help but smile when you spot him on the corner of Panská and Laurinská. Tip: Keep an eye out when walking - he’s literally on the street, and yes, people have tripped over him.

The Čumil Statue Čumil, one of Bratislava’s most famous landmarks, is a bronze statue located at the corner of Panská and Laurinská Streets in the city’s Old Town. The man at work is an interevisual relief on a busy alley. Its cute n there are a lot of stories around it. Most are exaggerated, though no harm if they humour you. Rub his cap to get some luck! If u get lucky, good on you!!

Interesting little statue. It’s a big attraction despite its small size. It is very unique to Bratislava and you will always find someone posing with it. Look to the ground otherwise you might miss it.

Very cool castle. Unfortunately it was super foggy the day we visited, so we couldn’t enjoy the view, but it gave a nice mysterious vibe to the castle. Perched on a hill overlooking the Danube, this white fortress offers the best panoramic views in the city. The museum inside is skippable unless you’re into Slovak political history - the real attraction is the gardens and views from the terrace. Sunset here is spectacular. Tip: Visit in the late afternoon and walk down via the old stone steps into the Old Town for dinner.

Definitely worth a visit. A real castle on the hill. You can walk to it from the city centre, taking around 20-30 minutes but it’s an uphill route. Although inside the castle, there’s not much to see, I still really like the view from the tower. You can also visit the castle from the outside in the evening as well.

The castle itself is clean, well-kept, and full of history, but what I loved most was the peaceful atmosphere around the gardens and walls. It’s one of those places where you can take your time, enjoy the scenery, and really appreciate the city. A must-see when you’re in Bratislava!

It's a must do on your visit to the old town in Bratislava. The views are great. I suggest walking up to the castle first before going down to the town. Lovely manicured gardens.

The castle has great outsides and looks that has been maintained very well. Great to go walking or just outside coffee. The inside exhibitions at least from mi pov are very minimalistic. For the same price you can get to great exhibitions in other countries, at some point there were paintings but no info on it, I did Google lens to understand.

Went to see Gustav Klimt on exhibition and it was a wonderful experience to see his work alongside Monet, Van Gogh and Egon Schiele. The palace is easy to navigate and the exhibition was over 3 floors. I visited late 5pm before closing and it was not crowded. I got to see all the works up close and truly appreciate the details. Staff are very vigilant and protect the work from people standing too close, its also important to check sinage as its not permitted to take photos of all the work. I had a wonderful time exploring the grounds before sunset. Found bamboo in the botanical gardens. It was not so lush as we are at the end of autumn, but it is a marvellous palace nevertheless. There is a cafe with very attentive and kind staff, great coffee. We also were very lucky the xmas markets were on at the time. Some beautiful stalls with great artisanal items!

It was nice to visit this palace. In winter time it's not so lovely because of the gardens. There was a little Christmas Bazar where you can enjoy some wine and sweets. There was huge donuts and some traditional foods.

Belvedere Palace was built between 1714 and 1723 as the summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy.After his death,it was acquired by Maria Theresa and transformed into one of the world's first public museums.It has since been used for various purposes,including as a residence for the heir to the throne and most famously,as the location where the Austrian State Treaty was signed in 1955, officially declaring Austria's freedom. Additionally,it houses a significant collection of art,including the world's largest collection of works by Gustav Klimt, with his famous paintings "The Kiss",Monet and Vincent van Gogh. It was a very enjoyable visit that traveled me in time!!

The Belvedere is a wonderful choice for a stroll and for experiencing beauty. The park is very pleasant and inspires a positive outlook, and the museum itself is incredibly aesthetically pleasing. You can see wonderful paintings not only by Klimt but also by other artists, as well as sculptures. There are absolutely unique works of art, portraits, and still lifes that are every bit as good as the famous canvases. The Klimt hall is wonderful; I really enjoyed his landscapes! A wonderful place!

Amazing! The paintings and organisation of the museum is impressive, the collection of Gustav klimit is iconic. If you’re there to discover the palace as a historical place i don’t recommend since there is no rooms displayed. If you’re an art fanatic i recommend 3 hours.

Even with parts of the building under restoration, the charm and grandeur of the palace remain impressive. The exhibition, however, is less remarkable. While it has its moments, it doesn’t quite match the awe-inspiring atmosphere created by the palace and its architecture. Art lovers may enjoy it, but for those primarily seeking a “wow” factor, it may feel underwhelming. A practical note: the queues can be long, especially on weekends. Even if you buy tickets online, you may have to wait for a later slot; when we arrived, our online tickets only allowed entry three hours later. Planning ahead and booking well in advance is highly recommended. The gardens are fantastic and free to explore. Locals often jog, run, or just relax there, and it's lovely to see artists drawing or people chilling. Overall, the views and grounds make it worth avisit! Overall, Belvedere Palace is worth visiting for its architecture and historical appeal, but don’t set your expectations too high for the exhibitions.

I visited the Belvedere to experience the art of Gustav Klimt and to take in the stunning architecture and perfectly maintained gardens. The museum spans three floors, each offering something remarkable, from the magnificent Marble Hall, where the Austrian State Treaty was signed, to galleries filled with masterpieces from different eras. The highlight, of course, is Klimt’s The Kiss and Judith, along with several of his early works that show his artistic evolution. The atmosphere is both grand and intimate, you feel the history, the art, and the spirit of Vienna all in one place. Book your tickets in advance and stick to your time slot, as it can get busy. Give yourself time to explore the grounds, they’re as inspiring as the collection inside. A must-visit in Vienna. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful day exploring Schönbrunn Palace and its beautiful gardens! The place is enormous, so expect to spend almost the entire day walking around, discovering its stunning architecture, elegant interiors, and rich history. There are plenty of benches outside where you can rest, have a picnic, or simply people-watch. The gardens are incredibly lovely and very well-maintained, and the entire area is so organized that you’ll enjoy exploring no matter which part you visit. There’s also a children’s museum, zoo, mazes, cafés, restaurants, and more! We especially enjoyed the short hike up to the Gloriette for a breathtaking view of the palace grounds. A definite must-see when in Vienna!

I was only outside as I was interested in thr Christmas market . There were alcohol free options and vegan as well. Market entry was Free, however, the special light garden git an try fee of 24 Euros , 99 percent wheelchair accessible. There was one feature where to see fully you had to go upstairs, otherwise everywhere you could roll.

It was my first visit to Schönbrunn Palace in 47 years, and its magnificent scenery was as wonderful as ever as a symbol of the Habsburg dynasty. The lavish decorations inside the palace and the splendor of the gardens are as magnificent as ever, demonstrating the majesty of a World Heritage Site that is worth revisiting. Walking around the vast gardens, I was reminded of its grandeur and splendor. The splendid decorations and paintings inside the palace are also worth seeing.

You need to explore all the places so a classic plus ticket is recommended for 75 euros, this will cover all the gardens, zoo, terrace, and the palace. This will be a long trip and you need to rest between them so I'd recommend to start your trip at 10 a.m. to finish it at 5 p.m. I strongly recommend to buy your tickets online becuase there was a very long line. Must visit experience with good audio guide cost included in the ticket. The beautiful gardens beside the palace add to the charm of it and the grandeur of the palace is amazing. We had a great time at the Christmas market setup right outside the palace in early November.

This spot is heaven on earth. I was excited to catch the early Christmas market in the palace gardens, so many great food stalls and adorable Christmas goodies shops! The evening ambiance with all the lights was simply stunning. A truly enchanting and memorable experience.

This is an enormous Palace complex. It houses several museums including the Sisi and Albertina, also the Spanish riding school arena and a church. You need to do some homework if you are interested in some of the above. Otherwise strolling around and taking in all the different centuries of architecture is very pleasing.

Hofburg Palace, Vienna In the centre of Vienna stands this majestic palace complex which houses two museums including the famous Sisi museum dedicated to Empress Elisabeth. Built in the 13th century it was the winter residence as well as the seat of the government of the imperial family. The architecture is great and a big tourist attraction. In the front are some ruins and the area is full of tourists all through the day. Horse carts with well attired charioteers are there for the tourists to enjoy royal carriages. Being in the historic old town the place is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Beautiful complex! The gardens are open to the public and certain buildings allow visitors! We only visited the State Hall which was gorgeous and gave a brief, modern history of Austria!

The Austrians certainly know how to do a building and the Hapsburgs really got it right. Just walking around the grounds can still the visitor to quite awe. There are a number of places with the area to visit and requires a ticket but it’s free to walk through the gardens and around the Palace buildings.

I visited St. Stephen's Cathedral from the outside, and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The architecture of the cathedral is impressive, and the streets and squares nearby are full of charm, cafes, and shops. It’s a perfect spot for sightseeing and taking photos. I really enjoyed walking around and soaking in the lively atmosphere of the area .

This cathedral is absolutely stunning. The architecture, both inside and out, is breathtaking. Right beside it, an early Christmas market was happening with adorable stalls. The interior is a true work of art. At night, it transformed into what looked like a massive haunted castle, haha!

The cathedral is a magnificent piece of architecture and a sight to behold. My strong personal critique, however, is the commercialization of the space. Requiring payment for entry into the main sections creates a barrier that I feel is fundamentally opposed to Christian teachings. A church should be a place where anyone, regardless of their financial means, can enter to pray and connect with God.

I have to say that I was really excited to visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral. I had seen it in pictures, on Instagram, everywhere, and seeing it in person was such a beautiful, emotional moment. The cathedral is stunning from the inside out. We bought our tickets the same day; you cannot buy tickets online, so you need to go directly to the ticket area. If you want to go to the top of the cathedral, there are two options: • South Tower – You must climb around 300 steps. It’s very high and can be exhausting. • North Tower – This is the one we chose. It actually has a better view, including a 360° view, and you can take the elevator, which is definitely nicer. We also visited the dungeons, and that was fascinating. You see cadavers that have been there since the 1500s (or around that time). They give you a guided tour that explains how people were buried and the history of the underground cemetery. It’s very interesting, I won’t spoil too much, but I definitely recommend it. We didn’t do the full church tour because when we arrived, they were having Mass, and we didn’t want to wait. Plus, after going up the tower in the cold, we were already a bit tired. So just be prepared, going to the top can be draining, especially if you’re an introvert. We’re both introverts, and we were completely drained afterwards. But honestly, the cathedral itself is breathtaking. It’s hard to believe something so massive and detailed was built so long ago. I really can’t even explain how incredible it is, you just have to see it for yourself. One thing I liked is that everything is done on the same day, and you don’t have to worry about online bookings. You can explore one part of the cathedral and come back another day to do the rest, if you want. We didn’t, but it’s an option. We bought two tickets: • one for the underground cemetery tour • one for the North Tower (highly recommend this one!) I also recommend doing the official church tour because it gives you the full history, when it was built, who built it, and all the important details. I kind of regret not doing that. Overall, I highly recommend visiting St. Stephen’s Cathedral. I don’t have many pictures because I really wanted to take everything in with my own eyes and enjoy the moment. If you go, do the same,or have someone else take photos for you,because the experience goes by too fast. And you don’t want to miss it by staring at your phone.

This area is good to explore. It hosts Stephenskriche-church and this church is beautiful. You can get into the church & lit candles & pray. This is one of the most visited place in Vienna, so in summer, this will be crowded with tourists. You can explore this area as you like it- do shopping, eat good, or just explore cultural capital. You can also buy Gustav Klimt’s paintings, Austrian silver jewellery, Austrian liquor and sweets. I love to stroll around this place in mornings when crowd is less. This is easily accessible through metro, and is very safe.

The heart of Vienna. There's a buzz around with both locals and tourists. With the Christmas stalls and lights there was a truly festive feel to the square. And so safe.

The Stephansdom (St. Stephen's Cathedral) that sits at the center of this busy square was packed with tourists on a weekday afternoon. However, it's an impressive Gothic cathedral and worth the visit. You don't need to spend more than 1/2 hour here. For me, that was plenty. Don't miss some of the interesting exterior motifs of skulls and crossbones; I don't know why those are there, but it's a good question to ask your tour guide, if you happened to splurge for one.

It's a small Christmas market right in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral. The sausages I ate there were topped with extras, so they were tastier than those I've had elsewhere. And there are always a lot of people.

A beautiful place, a palace with impressive architecture and simply amazing gardens. We didn't go into the palace itself but we walked around the gardens for about an hour. If you have a lot of free time, you can spend much more here. Well-maintained gardens, so many flowers and greenery. A perfect maze. You can easily spend and walk around here for half a day.

A very fascinating and well maintained place worth a quick visit. Some items like self standing staircases are fascinating to watch. Also each room furniture has been maintained pretty well. The floor, the walls, roofs all look to have been preserved very well. Only possible to visit as a part of guided tour, which takes place only in Czech language. But not an issue since they provide written guiding text in other languages. The young lady leading the tour was friendly and asked if there was a question, she was happy to answer individually in English. The tour takes around 40-50 Minutes. The staff at reception doesn't speak English. Luckily one lady was able to speak German so it was possible to get information nevertheless.

Very interesting design of a castle for this parts of Europe. The design looks like a British castle. The grounds have wonderful gardens and you have a nice opportunity to stroll around them. We didn’t have the opportunity to go inside the castle. The trees and the flowers are around the castle were wonderful.

Beautiful castle and gardens. Highlight was the greenhouse for me as I love tropical flowers. There are 4 different tours on offer , we chose the 1st which lasted 45 minutes. We also enjoyed a very nice boat ride, everything is easy to arrange on the spot , no need to buy tickets upfront . Everyone is very friendly, gardens are lovely.

Went here as part of a tour with side trip tours. We stayed about 40 minutes only walking around the outside. It was beautiful and there’s a restaurant across the way too. Nice to stroll through the garden if you’re nearby.

It's absolutely worth visiting especially in Spring, and the beginning of Summer. (When I was). It's a perfect place to take an amazing pic for those fans of photography. The path through the garden is amazing with lots of flowers around. The work done by the workers there is non-stop to make it look to perfection. Would highly recommend it combined with a tour in the vineyards around.

Simple beautiful . Huge place with lot of flowers , trees , lake and river . Fantastic the castle .The park entrance is free of charge. You can walk around and spend hours easily .

Self check-in machines are super helpful. It was limited for indoor activities so the price wasn’t that reasonable. It’s better to visit in summer season to enjoy outdoor slides. Most slides require two-three people.

Probably best Aquapark I have been to. Absolutely massive outdoor space. Only downside would be overpriced restaurant food. Beer is also bit pricey but compare to let's say uk pubs it's still affordable 85czk (3£) Our 4 year old loved every second there. Lots of kid pools and slides in different areas so you are not stuck in one location all day.

The lady chef in the restaurant kitchen took my food and threw it in the rubbish without saying anything. This kind of behavior is not acceptable. There was no one to take out complain at all. The price vs. quality and level of service is below any expectations.

I love this aqua park! The experience was amazing. It is huge and has a variety of water slides suitable for everyone. Children will have a great time here. Visit their website for detailed information on all the attractions. Unfortunately, I didn't try the wellness area yet, but hopefully, next time.

We decided to try the 30-minute Salt Therapy experience at Aqualand Moravia, priced at 79 CZK per person, after carefully reading the description and information displayed outside. Based on that, we expected to enjoy a relaxing session with noticeable salty air and calming atmosphere. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. Upon entering, there was no scent of salt or mineral air—only the smell of wooden benches. The temperature inside was exactly the same as outside the room, so there was no spa-like warmth or comfort. There was also no staff present to assist or explain anything about the experience. After about three minutes, we decided to leave, as the environment simply didn’t match what was described or expected. When we spoke with the manager, he explained how the salt spa supposedly works but did not listen to our feedback or concerns. Despite confirming we stayed only three minutes, the “best” solution offered was to not charge us for one entry instead of fully refunding us. Overall, this was a disappointing experience that could have been handled with more understanding and fairness. We would have been happy to pay if the session had provided even a hint of the salty air and relaxation it promised—but unfortunately, it did not.

We visited on a weekday. We arrived at about 10am and had to wait about ten minutes to get in. We have been to many water parks as a family and this was probably in the top three. It seems small when you first enter but there are actually many different areas and the way it is organised is very clever. The best thing about it was the massive outdoor space and extremely hot outdoor pools, it works be great in the winter. You have to be able to understand Czech or German though to understand anything inside, English is not provided. One very strong criticism and sore point for me is the fact you have to pay for parking! Is absolutely scandalous as there is nothing else for miles around (so it’s not like people are trying to park there to go to a town centre, for example). Also, it’s even quite expensive, certainly not a nominal fee. It costs 70 czk which is about 3.50 USD. That policy needs to be reformed urgently.

The place itself is wonderful.. they have a huge pool inside that leads you outside even in cold weather. There is also bunch of activities available like spa, water slides, hot pool and so on. The reason why I'm leaving 3 stars is because they don't tell you about the side effect of coming at lunch time on weekends and the aqualand is full. Than you have to face the long waiting line outside of the building in whatever weather and hope that you'll get inside in an hour. The tickets work best if you go there on week days soonest possible, otherwise you might end up turning back and trying to come back again next time. The prices however are usually really good based on what you get for it so I cannot badmouth on that.. all in all.. you'll get a quality service for a good price just think twice if there is a chance that you'll not be the only one with the thought of going there.

Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, Brno This beautiful church sits on a hill and is easy to spot with its tall twin towers. Inside, it’s peaceful and full of history, with lovely decorations. You can climb the towers for great views of Brno. It’s a must-see if you’re visiting the city.

What a lovely experience, got to the place right before the service finished (around 17 something on a Thursday), managed to catch the beautiful sounds of a large pipe organ - the sound was amazing. There is a park around the cathedral’s perimeter with beautiful surroundings, you can see the whole city from afar from different angles, there are also a few cafes to sit super close to the cathedral or you can simply relax and enjoy your time with your own food and drink on one of the numerous benches (with the backs) that are located across the area

Definitely worth a visit. You can spend hours here. I went for the museum and there are three levels you can explore. You get to learn about the castle‘s history and architecture. There are also exhibitions for you to explore and many art pieces for you to marvel at. Please note it is definitely a hike up! Recommend to wear appropriate shoes.

The fortress is a wonderful place to spend some time. The walk up to the fortress is mildly strenuous but pleasantly green. The exhibitions are absolutely worth visiting and very comprehensive. The view from the fortress walls or its tower is also beautiful. Definitely a must-visit if you are in Brno.

Špilberk castle is a must-visit if you’re in Brno. Whether you’re drawn to its medieval architecture, Ghostly prison history, lush gardens, or unforgettable city views, it’s easy to spend whole day exploring at a relaxed pace. Perfect for a casual stroll, a dose of culture, and a dash of scenic beauty. Recommend it!

only problem was that it took me an eternity to find a toilet, but i had to "pay" for it when i got in. other than that, this castle seems very nice and it offers great views

If you stay Brno few days and have a lot of time, you can visit here. If not, you don't need to. If you want to go into the royal chapel, you have to buy another ticket.

It’s beautiful. Walking around inside the walls is free and you can buy tickets to have a look in the look out tower or the treasury.

Macocha is named after the legend that a stepmother (Macocha) threw her daughter-in-law into this 138-metre deep gorge. It is Unique biotope environment with navigable dripstone caves, and the deepest sinkhole in Europe. Unfortunately also a Traditional suicide point. Beautiful and special flora within the cave. On warm summer nights, groves here are sometimes simultaneously illuminated by thousands of fireflies. Ample parking and a good hotel on site.

Loved this place very beautiful and interesting. The cave was one of the prettiest that I had visit. And the trip by boat inside of the cave was very cool and we even saw a small bat. Definitely worth it

Perfect trip: Czech Republic has a lot to offer. Here the deepest sinkhole in Europe! The tour to the Macocha cave has two parts: one into the mountain and one a boat ride through the middle of the gorge : deep in the earth. Very exciting and thrilling. The tour is guided. Very friendly staff.absolutely recommended!

The Macocha Abyss is probably the most famous abyss in the Moravian Karst and at the same time in the Czech Republic and part of the Punkve Caves complex. The depth of the dry part of the abyss is 138.4 m, at its bottom there are Horní with depth 11 m and ‘Dolní macošské jezírka ´´. depth according to the guide 50 m. get a breathtaking look. I absolutely have to praise the guide and the Pilots on the underground boats

Truly wonderful Nature with many caves and cliffs. Macocha itself can be accessed through top or through a guide tour from below which I strongly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful and worth seeing. I did the tour in the interiors (ask for the printout in English at the cashiers) and in the moat. The moat you visit without the guide and it take max 20 Min if you are slow. The parking is ca 10 minutes away (walking distance) and it is possible to pay by card. I purchased the tickets online but I don’t think it is necessary. One of the guides could not speak English at all. The other was helpful. The ladies at the cashier speaks English and were helpful too.

It's a beautiful castle with a gorgeous interior. Everything is well maintained, you can only visit with guided tours (you find the different tours on their website, depending on the season.) Prices however begin at 11 euros/person (I have seen none at 4...) The guided tour was pretty quick, 40 minutes and quite frustrating as it's only given in czech. They give you a written pamphlet but it's not very clear or detailed.

Well preserved castle, but tour itself was a dissapointed. Cca 22eur for 2 adults with kid, 1 hour. Can get in only with a guided group, but guiding only in czech. If guidance was in english and more attractive, this could be great.

A beautiful castle where Czech fairy tales were set. Beautiful environment. They started an evening tours (Halloween). Take the children and it will be an experience as it should be. Nicely prepared, worth seeing. I recommend especially with children. Parking available for 100 KC.

Nice museum showing good insight into Skoda as one of the most innovative companies of the CEE region! All exhibits are described in Czech, German and English. There is also a artistic display of key moments and personalities i Czech history upstairs. Definitely ask about sports and prototypes exhibiton. Plus a good Restaurant / Cafe Vaclav on the spot.

Great museum with meticulously restored cars dating back to the beginning of 20th century. I was surprised by the variety of models Skoda produced over its history. Sport and prototypes depository is a must visit (included in museum entry ticket).

It's cool to see the company history and all the different cars/bikes but it is a very limited museum. There is another guided tour you can book in advance which might be more engaging

As a Skoda fan I really enjoyed the museum. Due to a ticket problem, I was hugely disappointed to not be able to tour the factory. I have six Skoda's and about to buy a seventh, but nothing helped with my appeal for entry.

Absolutely brilliant if you're into cars and Czech history - this place delivers on both fronts. The collection traces Skoda's journey from the early days to modern engineering, and it's genuinely fascinating how much innovation came out of this company. You get a real sense of Czech industrial pride and resilience through the decades. IMPORTANT: Book the factory tour at least 3 weeks in advance - it's worth it. You'll see current production, learn about future models, and get the full story from past to present. The museum alone is great, but the factory tour takes it to another level. Even if you're not a car person, the historical context and Czech culture woven throughout makes it compelling. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.
