A fun place to spend a day. You can buy a per ride ticket. That way you can buy tickets only for the rides you are interested in. There is a restaurant and a small ice cream shop inside. Washrooms are available in the premises and there is plenty of car parking space.

Good place to visit with kids, we have spent some nice time being there and enjoyed ourselves. Rides were good and safe for everyone. Restaurant was good but due to heavy crowd the waiting times were too high.

Kids and adults both had fun here! We came here in the morning of a weekend. While the parking was quite crowded, we didn’t have to queue up for each ride. There were more people coming after lunch time though.

The site itself is lovely, the facilities are fun, the view is amazing, there is a comfortable restaurant and convenient parking. But we had an unpleasant experience. We bought 6 tickets at the ticket office - 4 for the roller coaster for all of us (a couple with two daughters) and 2 for the sleds just for my husband and daughter. After we all did the first slide, my husband and daughter went to the sled slide. The line was long but we waited patiently. When it was there turn, my husband already went in with his ticket and when my daughter tried to go up with her, it was listed as having zero balance! Even though the four used tickets were separately in my pocket. Unfortunately, they left the line and went back up. When I went up to the cashier and explained the situation, she acted like I was trying to lie to her. When I realized there was no one to talk to, I bought two more tickets. I wasn't bothered by the money but by the feeling that she didn't even think there was a possibility that there was a problem with them. When my husband and daughter went back to the line, the same thing happened to another father and son... too bad.

Fun time! Rides for all ages so bring the whole family. Best part is free admission! They charge per ride/attraction and the prices are very reasonable. Of Disney charged per ride they'd go out of business but here it's a great working model.

It's your typical amusement park. Not too big, there are a couple of nice rides, nothing too extreme so it's ok even for someone who isn't an adrenaline junkie. The waiting lines are decent even on a weekend.

Nice place, very well maintained, clean and fair price

We did the 40 minute group tour and found it interesting and informative. It is cold and wet inside so appropriate clothing and footwear is a must. Also, be prepared for a long walk. There is paid parking outside the caves and the max duration to park is 2.5 hours. There is a café at the exit. It also sells a few souvenirs.

The best place to visit near Nuremberg, amazing atmosphere, Nature at its best, chilly inside the cave with a lot of stones made of water drops over the year and one was 2000 years old. The guided tour with the German and English language and the guide was super nice. The ticket price was just 9 euros for adult, it was around 45 mins of tour inside the cave. Once in a lifetime experience for me. Deutschland Ticket works there in Schmetterling Busses. What are you waiting for?

It's wonderful! I'd recommend a guided tour and warm clothes. Not for disabled people. Lots of stairs and tight on several parts of the way. Absolutely worth it. Dogs are allowed.

We visited on a Sunday, early afternoon. It wasn't overly crowded. The tour guide also spoke in English. It was worth the trip. It was a good experience. After exiting the cave, you can enjoy a nice refreshment at the cafe, go for a hike, or visit the coaster park (up the mountain). We were very pleased.

Great fun and very unique cave! The audio- and visual effects inside were fun too - and the exit outside of the cave was almost magical! Really beautiful grassy and moss-covered rock formations and mountain cliffs. Beautiful sight, our kids had fun here!

This cave is a Nice place to visit. with Kalk Deposits for over 1000s of years this place is unique to see. Cannot use Kinderwagon, babies need to be carried. Some paths are very very narrow . Only guided tour as per slot (in German) . Parking in Automat. View after the tour was also amazing (autumn season) 9 euro ticket for adults. Will be very interesting for kids.

One of the iconic castles of Germany, with loads of imperial connections, and well worth braving the rather steep ascent (the views are great, too). Part of the fortifications that lure you up are actually the city wall, not the castle proper, but the overall effect is what counts. If you are spendthrift, skip the castle interior (interesting, but nor overwhelming), and definitely do not eat there (much better value can be found around the nearby Dürerhaus or in town).

Definitely worth the price of admission. Lots of walking so wear good shoes. Make sure to check out the bridge near the bus drop-off point for the best view. No photography once you are inside. The castle is fabulous. There are bathrooms and a small Cafe inside. Get there early to avoid the crowd.

From other reviews, didn't believe there'd be a lot of items to see in the museum. Was very surprised at the amount of historical items and information provided. The views of the city were fantastic along with the historic background. Very easy walk even inside the museum and inner grounds. I highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Beautiful spot to explore — great for a scenic walk with lovely views over the city. The whole place has a strong historic atmosphere and makes for a really nice visit.

The Imperial Castle is the symbol of Nuremberg. Since the Middle Ages its silhouette has represented the power and importance of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation and the outstanding role of the imperial city of Nuremberg. From 1050 to 1571, all Holy Roman Emperors resided – at least temporarily – in the Imperial Castle. An archeological exploration of the grounds of the castle has revealed remains of a fortress.

A charming museum that offers a closer look at the life and work of this talented and self-assured painter. It feels special to visit in his hometown. Although it’s sad that Nuremberg lost many of his original works, the reproductions and the effort of other artists to keep his legacy alive are meaningful and well worth seeing.

Authentic house that was home to famous medieval artist. Although there are only reproductions and period furniture in the house, it feels real and relays the life story of Durer in great detail.

Albrecht-Dürer-Haus The museum does a great job of presenting its exhibits, even though it’s a bit small — which is understandable given the size of the original house. I especially enjoyed the art gallery section; it was fascinating. The staff were also wonderfully friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better.

This is the house where Albrecht Dürer once lived, though the exhibition makes it clear that almost no trace of the great master's residency remains - yet you get a good introduction to his life and works. You may even try your hand at creating your own art. Can be crowded at times, as the rooms (and especially stairwells) are small.

A sight that is a "must-see" if you are visiting Nuremberg. We didn't go inside, but from the outside it looks like an ordinary house, of which there are many in the city center. But it is still special, as it is linked to a famous historical figure.

We loved the English tour with Agnes, the "wife" of Dürer, who presented a very personal insight of the life of the artist while guiding us through the building!

A very impressive historic building once owned by Albrecht Dürer. Plan at least two hours for a thorough tour. It's worth the time to admire the works of this medieval master.

St. Lawrence is the Cathedral Church of Nuremberg with twin bell towers. It is located in Alstadt very center surrounded with many market stalls. Church is free to enter with tall classic Gothic arches inside with very few stained glass. WWII devastations miraculously spared the twin towers which only endured minor damages

Gothic masterpiece church dominating southern part of old town was built over the period of 2 centuries from 1250 to 1477. It was burnt out at the end of WW2 and reconstructed in 1952. Artwork was preserved in underground bunkers prior to bombings, so wooden rosary with suspended in mid-air figures and stain glass are original to medieval period.

Almost a twin of the St Sebald (might be?) but with it's own architectural marvel. In a large market square with farmer market and many open square restaurants

St. Lorenz Church is one of the most important Gothic churches in southern Germany and a defining landmark of Nuremberg’s old town. Built between the mid-13th and 15th centuries, it was originally a Catholic church but became Lutheran after the Reformation in 1525. Its twin towers and richly ornamented façade dominate Lorenzer Platz. The church measures approximately 91 meters in length, 27 meters in width, and its towers rise to about 80 meters high — making it one of the largest churches in Bavaria. We didn’t have the chance to go inside, as a concert was taking place at the time of our visit. However, even through the closed doors, the sheer power of the sound resonating from within was striking — a clear reminder of the building’s scale and extraordinary acoustics.

Extremely poor hygiene. When we found 💩 poop laying around in the baby-pool, they fixed it by fishing the biggest peaces out of the water. In Denmark the pool would have been closed, emptied, cleansed and THEN reopened. The toilets were not in the locker rooms but rather inside the actual pool room, allowing for you to take a dump and then go straight back into the water, hence having everyone swimming in your rectal bacteria. In Denmark you strictly have to shower once more, using soap, before going back into the water. There were other very low-hygiene issues, but those two mentioned were the worst. So, don't go if you are not in the mood for an infection. If you don't care about hygiene, the place is ok.

I am sorry to say this, however as of now I cannot suggest this place to any of my friends. It is clearly an old place and it looks like it’s not kept up as it is supposed to be. - There is algae in all the outside filters and the inside filters do not look really clean either. - The little “cave” has residue on the walls which makes me feel icky. - The seats were made out of really cheap looking plastic and the metal frames of quiet a few of the loungers are rusty. a. s. o. .. There is no reason to make a special Tripp to this location.

Perfect place for relax, just few people even during the weekend. We enjoyed our time there, swimming and cool poolbar

From the outside the place has great appeal with modern architecture and smooth surfaces, however once inside the age of the building shows. The changing rooms are packed full with changing booths and lockers with little room to maneuver around. There is only one male and one female shower room with 5-7 shower heads. The pool area is cramped with chairs along the edges forcing you to side step past them. The concrete walls show signs of water damage and paint peeling all over. The two indoor “hot” pools were actually mildly warm with only small sections of bubbling water. The area with the children’s pool and area was very nicely layout, however most of the kids were in the main area with their parents in the warm pools. Their behavior and loudness took away from the goal of relaxing. A recommendation for the locker keys and access control to different areas, use a more modern method like a rubber wrist band embedded with a chip that is programmed at front desk. The coin chip works, however placing it in the wrist band holder with the locker key is bulky and requires constant attention to ensure it’s still tight or fastened to wrist. Overall the place is best suited to take your children and let them burn some energy off. This is NOT a place to go if you wanna relax in a hot therme.

Beautiful beaches, lots of activities to do here like standup paddling, kayaking etc. The only issue is that you’ll need to be there early else all the kayaks/ SUPs will be gone. A section of the beach is dog friendly which is fantastic!

You have to take your trash with you. Consider the trash bins as decorations! Set a sign and don’t visit the lake and the nearby restaurants.

Brombachsee is one of the lakes in the Fränkisches Seenland, and perhaps it's the best one. We really enjoyed our hike around the entire lake (Rundweg Kleiner Brombachsee, about 5.5 miles to circle back to your beginning point) on this very pretty autumn day - air was brisk, leaves were very pretty at places (photos) and being near quiet waters always calms my soul. We saw many bikers, hikers, walkers with dogs and even some four-wheel (side by side bike contraption with a roof) carriages along this circle route around the lake. We didn't observe a lot of wild life per se, but there were some on the lake. I think I even saw a large owl flying away in the woods. Does one swan make this lake a "swan lake"? Obviously it's past the busy season now, and it seemed a little desolate, but a café and a beer garden were open. There were many swimming beaches along the way, so I imagine during the warm season (typically only for a couple of weeks in Germany) this would be a great lake-swimming location. Also, there was Wakepark in one of the coves where you can enjoy riding wakeboards being pulled by a leash with some jumping stands. I didn't pay attention to the price posting. It looked very cold with air temperature of only about 46F, so it probably would be better during summer time. I imagine it'll be very crowded then. There were plenty of parking spaces available near the beer garden / camp ground. All-day parking is € 5 here.

Hello fellow time travelers! Today I want to share with you my experience of visiting the Burgruine Hilpoltstein, a medieval castle ruin in Bavaria, Germany. If you are looking for a place to explore some history, enjoy some scenic views and maybe even meet some ghosts, this is the place for you! The Burgruine Hilpoltstein dates back to the 11th century and was built by the lords of Stein, who were very influential and powerful in the region. They had good relations with the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire and founded the towns of Hilpoltstein and Freystadt. They also had a lot of drama in their family, like Heinrich III, who tried to become a bishop but failed, or Hilpolt IV, who died without heirs and ended the dynasty . The castle was then sold to the Wittelsbach dukes of Bavaria, who used it as a residence for their widows. One of them was Maria Dorothea, who expanded and renovated the castle in the 17th century. She was also very religious and generous, and donated a lot of money to churches and monasteries. She died in 1639 and was buried in Seligenporten Abbey . After her death, the castle was abandoned and fell into decay. It was used as a quarry and a prison until it was bought by the county of Roth in 1972. Since then, it has been restored and opened to the public . You can visit the castle from April to October and see the remains of the palas, the chapel, the bergfried (donjon) and the ring wall. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of the town and the surrounding countryside from the top of the hill. The castle also hosts some cultural events throughout the year, like a medieval festival in May and a theater festival in August. You can also find a tourist information center, an archive and a community college in the former granary. If you are lucky, you might even encounter some of the former inhabitants of the castle, who are said to haunt the place. Some people have reported seeing or hearing strange things, like footsteps, voices or apparitions. So, if you are looking for a fun and interesting day trip in Bavaria, I highly recommend visiting the Burgruine Hilpoltstein. You will not regret it! Wolfstein Castle (Burgruine Wolfstein) is a beautiful and peaceful spot that’s perfect for a short hike and a taste of medieval history. Located on a hill above the town of Neumarkt in Bavaria, the castle ruins date back to the 12th century and still have an impressive presence. The walk up to the castle is easy and scenic, taking visitors through forest paths and offering lovely views along the way. Once at the top, the remains of the stone walls and towers give a great sense of what the fortress once was. There's also a viewing platform that offers stunning panoramic views over Neumarkt and the surrounding countryside. It’s free to explore, and while the ruins aren’t large, they have a peaceful charm that makes it a nice place to spend an hour or so. There are also a few benches at the top, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the scenery. Wolfstein Castle is great for anyone who enjoys light hiking, history, and beautiful views. It’s a quiet, less crowded alternative to bigger tourist sites, making it a perfect stop if you’re in the area.

Took a trek right from the train station as we went there on the weekend and the buses were not operational. It took about an hour to reach the ruins but the journey was worth it. The tower was open, so I could enjoy the breathtaking view. The place takes about 30 min to explore but I would recommend a hike or trek to enjoy the place to its fullest.

It was easy to find parking right outside the little town. It was an easy 5-minute walk to the castle. The only disappointing thing was that there is very little to discover. There is only one plaque that we could find with anything written on it about the castle. And guided tours of the spire are only available on Saturdays. The rest of the castle can easily be explored in under 10 minutes. The best thing about this Castle is the view. You can see the entire valley and distinguish no less than 8 or 9 different towns. It's breathtaking.

Tours of the watch tower are only available on Sunday from 1pm - 5pm at the moment. But I grew up in the 80's and 90's playing the video game Wolfenstein 3D on a PC so had to come have a look. Really spectacular and fantastic views of the local town.

Definitely worth checking out. Good way to spend an hour. Wonderful castle ruins in Neumarkt.

Good place for hiking (beginner level), there is an amazing view from the hill top to the Neumarkt town. Castle ruins is amazing to discover, it takes 1 hour to visit the castle with good view of the town, which is a valley surrounded by small hills. A parking space is available in the field which is free of cost.

Very interesting but the display of the cars was a bit boring, old fashioned. The artefact and the parafernalia displays were very nice. I wanted to pay with an EU debit card and at first they did not accept it. Once they realized I had no other means of payment it was okay. All by all I have learned a lot about the Maybach company.

consist of one floor and includes the history of Maybach creation and the development through the years till the destruction of the workshop in 1945. the rooms are wide with informations on all the big and luxury Maybach which once existed. motor engines and collectibles are there also to see. a collection of famous express bicycles and motorcycles is there. souvenirs, cafe and a cinema is available. dont miss it.

The museum is great. Anyone interested in old cars and aviation with Zeppelins has come to the right place. Entrance fee of 9.50 euros is just about okay. However, parts of the museum are not heated. Be sure to dress warmly in winter. A room temperature that was 3 or 4 degrees higher wouldn't have been bad. No credit cards accepted, only debit cards. December 2023

I guess it is over rated; though there was some nice vintage cars, but the museum is relatively small. I was expecting to see some new cars. There are some interesting facts though, about the bike industry and patents, and also the war tanks industry. The video related to the Hindenburg disaster and the crash of the Zeppelin in the US in 1937, was really touching!

I expected more cars. The documentary about Zeppelin was interesting.

Although it's a nice little museum with very nice expose, it would be nice, if the lights are switched ON, as it's quite difficult to read about the exhibits in a dark room (even if it's only 2pm)

Fantastic chocolate maker with literally every combination available! The store is beautifully designed with many talking animals, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a nice coffee shop as well which offers coffees and snacks. In the back they have a very nice area equipped with fast chargers for electric vehicles. I can fully recommend a visit when you are in the area!

What a lovely surprise to find this incredible chocolate shop on our way back to the UK! I would really recommend a stop if you are in the area. The chocolate selection is immense and delicious and the service was lovely.

The best chocolate I have ever tried! The look and the packaging make for an amazing gift, plus it's reasonably priced.

I only found Seidl Confiserie by pure accident while researching artisanal truffles and chocolates, and it has been seredipity bliss at first sight and taste. Their Macadamia truffles ans chocolates are some of the best I have ever tried, and I have tried countless manufacturers' chocolates before. Seidl's are creamy and rich and so full of real macadamia.

Absolutely stunning 900 year old brewery with great beers and a lovely Biergarten. We had such a great tour guide and very wonderful authentic german bier.

Great beer garden to relax and have good food: umbrellas, trees, just a pleasant place to relax and while away the afternoon. Abbey itself is interesting to look around. Recommend if in the area@

Hospitality is not yet invented. Avoid this place at all costs. They will leave you waiting forever and treat you as garbage. They Smoke in the building. Lights in the corridor are not working. Bring a flashlight! Tv not working either

It feels more like an exhibition than a museum—quite disappointing, to be honest. It should convey the horror of what took place there, but it doesn't. The fact that there are regular houses just behind the fence, where people live, blew my mind. What goes through people's heads to make it okay for them to have a view of a death camp from their window?

Was easy to get here from the Central Station Hbf in Munich. Take the S2 train to Bahnhof, Dachau, then take a transfer to 726 bus. Will take you there and back. The visitation center has your free toilette, Cafe with food, drinks, and warm coffee and hot chocolate which was well needed for this cold day. The people at the visitor center was nice and spoke English well. Rental an audio tour guide that was useful, but honestly I enjoyed reading all the materials and posters there. The camp was amazing, and everyone was respectful there. Everyone was speaking low for respect, similar to 911 Memorial Museum in NY.

We went with a guided tour with Radius Tours. From Munich, we traveled by train and bus to get to the memorial site. We were with 'German Mark' ...not to be confused with the other Mark 😉 and he provided a lot of insight to the history and development of this memorial site. We came to Munich for Oktoberfest and spent the following morning here. It was sobering, though provoking, impactful, and necessary. You could easily spend the majority of the day here. They do provide self guided audio tours. Someone that we met at our hotel did the audio tour and enjoyed the content. You get a lot of content in the various areas and it's great to see that they are utilizing the space to remember what happened there. It was a very powerful experience.

Absolutely incredibly powerful place to visit. It’s very well presented and managed - combination of extensive museum exhibits with text (multiple languages), artifacts, real life stories, videos, and pictures. Be sure to read as much as possible as you tour. There are memorials and public art throughout the site that represent many different backgrounds of the victims impacted. Careful reconstruction has been done on a few buildings, some original buildings remain, and much of the open ground is there from where original buildings once stood. We spent nearly 4.5 hours there and could have easily spent longer as learned lots. Audio guides in different languages are available.

Worth going and worth checking it out for lots of reasons. It has a canteen for lunch, a book shop, a Carpark. You can follow guided tour by the centre, just head to the reception to join the tour (think is 3 euro per person) when you get there, this can’t be booked online. There are one at 11am and one at 1pm I think (in English). There are also some in German. You can walk into a small gas chamber used for testing poison on people, and see the crematorium used to burn the bodies. Scary but real. All in front of your eyes. And many more scary details. A lesson not to be missed and always be remembered. The visit is free if you don’t follow the tour. You can do the visit using audio guide too.

There are no words to describe the emotions you get from visiting this site! It's definitely a must while in Munich. We went as part of a tour, which I highly recommend as you learn so much from the guide! This was a lifetime experience for sure!

We had a short trip to the memorial site. It is impressive although not many of the original elements are left. The space and the prison part gives you that feeling of hopelessness. It is humbling and creates awareness on the horrors man can inflict on others and how much can one indure. We should be grateful that we don't know any of it.

A good place to bring kids. Kids would enjoy the outdoor play places of different themes. Get a nice view of the flight's landing and take off. The food and beverages at the restaurant are a bit expensive though.

What a fun spot for kids! An aviation themed playground with old planes and an overlook (1€ fee per person). Small restaurant, gift store and bathrooms available. You can register for an airport tour, but we don’t have time for that. Free entry and parking for up to an hour.

What an incredible experience with the team of fellow students from Politecnico Di Milano today visiting Münich Airport! The guide Philipp and the coach driver Alex were incredibly kind and coordinated, as well as very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the visit, seeing MUC Airport in deep, and would do it again without any hesitation!! Really cool place to come watch planes. Several planes are located in the visitors park. They were not open to see much of when I was there, but good photos from the outside. Restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Plenty of areas for kids to play. Great souvenir shop. Well worth the visit to spend a few hours alone or with the family. Amazing hill to climb to watch all the movements at Munich Airport. Great experience.

A must visit place for a airplane enthusiast! Good view of both the runways. One is closer but other is little far but you can enjoy landing and takeoffs from here. There is Kinderspielplatz which is really awesome for kids and also a restaurant. Parking is paid but available in plenty. Must visit

The viewing platform costs a euro to get to, on top is some telescopes you can use for more euros.. also parking costs 2 euro per/1h so at leat your visit will cost you 3 euros plus 1e/person. Not too bad as the view is good to the runways, perhaps bring your own binoculars.. Blow is a playground for kids and cafeteria with bathrooms.. code is I,II,III,IV.

The FC Bayern stadium (Allianz Arena) has a very high capacity. The exterior design is modern and can change color at night. It houses both a Museum and an FC Bayern Store. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to join the Arena Tour, which is a real shame. The downside of this stadium is that there are very few nice photo spots outside, apart from taking pictures with the stadium itself, and if you come by U-Bahn, it's a very long and exhausting walk.

Wonderful arena and an amazing experience. My dad received a VIP tour and museum tickets for his 59th birthday. We were guided around the stadium and even taken to exclusive areas like the locker room and the tunnel where the players walk out before the match. The museum has absolutely everything, and the layout is beautifully done. I was also pleasantly surprised that the stadium shop is not overpriced at all. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. Even though I’m not a football fan myself, we went because of my father, and I actually felt sad to leave because I enjoyed it so much. Go Bayern München! 🫶🏻❤️⚽️

Bayern Munich's stadium is located 12 minutes from the city center by metro. The fans are the heart of the club, arriving early and enjoying the experience of a cold beer. The stadium's sound system is very high quality. I had a lot of fun watching and participating in the victory over FC Freiburg. Unsere FC Bayern Munchen gewinn mit 6 : 2, stadion was almost full 75 000 person was realy enjoyed this football atmosphere. Mia San Mia. 🥳🍀⚽🙏🇩🇪🏆

The group tour is great. To get to see all the history behind such a big club was a great experience. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit again whit the hopes of seeing a match. Overall it was cool and the best part is that I didn’t have to sell kidney to take the tour, it was really affordable. Definitely recommend checking it out.

We booked the English speaking tour with Franz, and he was very informative and engaging. There was plenty of Oporto take photos, and you could visit the change rooms, sit in the stands and on the substitutes bench. Afterwards we visited the museum which was very interactive. You could take a photo of yourself and have it appear on a scrolling wall of photos, and there was also the opportunity to take a photo with your favourite players. There are things for kids to do, such as building their own trophy with blocks, as well as a stadium with Lego. There is a small futsal pitch for them to play on, as well as climbing equipment. It’s definitely worth the visit for the whole family.

The wonderful place to visit. I highly recommend to join the guide tour because you can experience a very special introduction in the court. The one thing is, you can understand the space of stadium and also you can learn the history of the stadium.

Great stadium, truly impressive from the moment you walk in. The shop is huge, well-stocked, and full of cool merch for every type of fan. The museum is surprisingly rich with history, displaying iconic moments, trophies, and even a small cinema where you can sit and enjoy a short film about the club’s journey. The stadium tour itself is well-organized, informative, and gives you access to some amazing angles you don’t normally get to see. Staff throughout the entire experience were warm, helpful, and very professional. Highly recommended if you’re a football fan or simply appreciate great sporting culture and storytelling.

We went for a brewery tour and tasting on a Wednesday 15/10/2025 for the English speaking tour. I'll start by saying how lovely all the staff were and how enthusiastic they were about the brewery! It was really interesting to learn how Erdinger is made and all the different beers they brew. The tasting was a highlight with an option of Obatzda or Weisswurst and Pretzel to pair with the beers. I managed to sample at least three of the beers and they were all as delicious as the next. The only downside to my experience was the slightly hard to reach location of the brewery. We were coming from the Therme Erding and there was no easy route. Of course this is not the brewery's fault so it's still a 5 star review! Thank you Erdinger Brewery for such an amazing tour!

Eva was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable about the brewing process. Make sure you tip them at the end- they work so hard and do a great job!

Booked a tour for a Saturday at 14. Their shop with merch closes at 13. How is that possible? The signage for meeting points etc. are bad and the ticket confirmation mail is only in German. Bad tourist experience. I actually also signed up for their free membership, where you get send a physical €5 voicher sent to your foreign home add, that only works in the shop. The voucher doesn't work online and, naturally, not in a closed shop.

HIGHLY recommend this tour. We came to Erding for our wedding and a bunch of our guests joined us for this tour. It was a great group activity. This was a highlight of our week! I have been to other breweries and have done other tours around the world but this was hands down my favourite one! The hospitality was wonderful. We started off with a beer and ended with multiple beers. (Full glasses, not just shot glasses). All the beer options were so good! We also received food; sausages and pretzels with the most amazing mustard. We didn't even need to go out for dinner after. The tour was very informative, with lots of walking and stairs which is good for me who likes to be active on trips. I would definitely come back! This is a MUST DO if you like beer and are in Erding. We are forever a Erdinger family now.

The English tour sold out, so we were on German tour. Still great. They have made some changes. The tour is no longer free for Fanclub members. It's 10€. But you do get a souvenir glass. Informative tour. Great reception after.

Amazing and quite affordable tour. Loved all the different beers

Here is a very impressive place, whether it's the beautiful Baroque architecture or the grand hall with its amazing ceiling frescoes. Although some of the interior decor might seem simple, the Marstallmuseum, which displays luxurious and magnificent carriages and sledges, especially those of King Ludwig II, is an unmissable highlight. Moreover, the area in front of the palace features a wide canal and pond, as well as a large park, which is perfect for strolling, taking photos, enjoying nature, and soaking up the very fresh and pleasant air.

Nicely maintained. The bus and tram stop are a bit away, 10 mins walk. Cycles are not allowed inside. Water is not not clean, lots of ducks and can spot different birds and deer sometimes. Good to visit in snow, Autumn and summer

Beautiful palace and garden / park. The park / garden is immense and would be a fantastic place to walk regularly. Taking the S Bahn from city center and entering through the park at the very southern tip on foot is what I recommend. You can also take a bus near the metro stop and get really close without a vehicle.

A splendid royal palace complex in the western suburbs of the city. Initially built as a summer residence for the rulers of Bavaria, the palace is open year-round to visitors for self-guided tours. There are actually 5 different buildings on the palace grounds that are open to the public: the main palace itself, the Marstallmuseum, and 3 smaller outbuildings. You can purchase a combination ticket for all 5 buildings at one price, or if you're short on time you can buy a ticket just for the palace itself. I feel you should allow at least 3 hours if you want to see everything. When I was there, the main palace required timed-entry tickets, but the other buildings did not. The main palace is stunning, with ornate sitting rooms, exquisitely decorated bedrooms, and an elegant great hall. Tours are self-guided, but there are detailed signs in each room (in both German and English). I loved being able to walk around at my own pace. An audio tour was available, but I felt the signs went into so much detail that I didn't need the audio guide. I highly recommend visiting the Marstallmuseum while you're here. It contains many interesting objects used by the royal family, including magnificent stagecoaches and an impressive porcelain collection. The palace grounds also feature Schlosspark Nymphenburg, a huge public park with manicured flowerbeds, green meadows, and wooded areas. You could easily spend an entire day exploring all that Nymphenburg has to offer! This was one of my favorite activities in Munich. If you interested in Bavarian history and culture, this is a must-do!

This is my first time here, and I'm very impressed with the structure and the property itself. It has a large, well-planned garden. When it's not crowded, it's a very relaxing and peaceful place. With a small grove, pools, and walking paths, it promises a beautiful Munich experience worth your time.

Stunning palace and gardens. Beautiful to visit in the autumn. Entry into the gardens is free. €10 for entry into the palace which is quite small and not quite worth it for €10. Other castles on property closed during colder months.

The castle looks really cool! I am glad that many bird types (geese for example) have a huge living space here thanks to the castle. The grass did not look very well maintained because you could see a lot of holes in the grass, which is because of the animals of course but yeah I just thought it looked a bit off. We had a very nice visit though!

Easy to get to with affordable on-site parking underneath. Very cool, modern building design inside and out. A good selection of cars to look at as well, but no replacement for the proper BMW museum. But of course you should plan to spend some time here anyways as you have to walk through to get to the full museum anyways. I did not get any food, but there were several restaurants inside which all looked good. Of course the scenery inside is great too!

This is a free museum/interactive showroom Went here for a quick visit. We enjoyed because there is option to get in vehicles, touch fully functional vehicle. Many learning opportunities too in terms of engineering and some history and insight on the direction of BMW. You'd have to be an automotive enthusiast or a big fan of BMW to really appreciate how great this place is

BMW Welt: You can only examine the autos you regularly see on the street!! The others speazial autos are locked. Only you can look! All the IX and M5 are too locked ! The attendants won't open them when you auch ask. Appointments are apparently required. !! In short, you can only view the vehicles from the outside. The attendants don't even introduce them. If I looked very rich and cool, maybe I would have a chance. :)) It's a complete disappointment. You could inspect many more BMWs if you went to a standard BMW dealership.! or from the photos I added :)) it's the same anyway. :))

amazing that all of this is available to see for free! although definitely add the museum onto your trip as well, even if it costs extra! the cars are absolutely stunning, and you're even able to sit in some of them! the cafe was expensive, but my pistachio croissant was a delicious breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful place. Very well maintained. The sea world is good but not worth the high price tag it carries. Far more beautiful aquariums exist at a much lesser price. The real attraction lies in the pond side benches behind the sea world. Tranquil, pretty and a great place to just sit by and catch your thoughts.

A beautiful, large park with a few big halls offering excellent opportunities for swimming and other sport activities and occasional concerts. There are also a nice lake, a hill offering a splendid view of the park and the city, plenty of paths for walking, jogging and riding a bike in the park. A prominent sign of the park is it's high Olympic tower. A great place for spare time, making sport and other activities and simply relaxing. Easy to reach by subway and some buses.

It's so much more than just a park; it's a vibrant, beautifully maintained space. We enjoyed a very pleasant walk through the expansive grounds, admiring the unique architecture of the Olympic facilities. The Olympic pool was particularly amazing – it looked so inviting, and it seemed like people were enjoying it for exercise, which is fantastic to see! As we strolled, we could hear a music festival playing in the distance, which created a really great atmosphere for our walk. The landscape design throughout the park is simply stunning, making it a truly picturesque place to spend time. Parking was easy to find, though it is paid, it's definitely worth it for the convenience and access to such a wonderful place. We highly recommend a visit to Olympiapark – it's a memorable highlight in Munich!

A nice place for the concert, event with a bit weird acoustics. We were there multiple times for different events and every one sounded different. A good thing is there's plenty of space, a variety of different bars and snacks, quite comfortable seats and always great atmosphere. The last event we were at was The Offspring concert and it was great, thanks!

A beautiful place to walk, breathe, relax, and get away from the city. It also offers great opportunities for those interested in architecture. I recommend using public transportation.

The BMW Museum in Munich is a must-visit; especially if you love cars and design. The building itself is modern and impressive; showcasing the brand’s history from classic models to future innovations. The exhibits are beautifully organized; each section tells a clear story with amazing visuals and interactive displays. You can see everything from vintage BMWs to new ones up close. It’s clean, well-run, and easy to explore. Definitely one of the best car museums in the world.

Great experience. So they have a combination of a Car showroom and the Museum. The Museum is divided into Rooms with numbers marked and different categories of cars and bikes. The entire power train portion has very nice engines to see from Aircrafts to marine, etc. m Must Visit

So, if you like cars its a must stop in München, I would highly recommend you to buy your tickets before arriving, it can get a bit full if you dont plan in advanced, the Museum has free lockers so its also a big benefit. Also in the museum is card only ( weird for being Germany) but a great thing to know. Theres different types of tours available and also shops. In the other side of the museum ( crossing the bridge) theres BMW Welt which is also nice and free

Well laid out and easy to navigate the museum. I bought tickets on my phone as i walked up to the building but there are also koisks inside. There are free lockers for small/medium bags and a jacket. There is a small Cafe with sandwiches, salad, pizza, drinks and coffee. If your thing is cars, motorcycles, airplanes, motors or just BMW in general this is a must see.

Really interesting museum, that is showing history of this brand. A lot of interesting cars and other artefacts. For me there was really interesting engine cut-outs, where You can see, how motor is operating. Most of descriptions is available in english language.

A kind of “Central Park” in Munich – a very nice place to visit. The park is spacious, green, and perfect for a walk or to just relax. A special highlight is the surfers on the river – definitely a must-see attraction that makes this place unique.

This is, without a doubt, the best place in Munich. It's a massive, beautiful urban park that feels like a world away from the city. You could easily spend an entire day here relaxing, walking, or watching the surfers.

A must see if you're in Munich. Absolutely an amazing park with lots to see and do there. Playgrounds for kids, lot's of places to get something to eat and drink. Plus a couple of places to surf, yes you read correctly surf. The river is very clean and as you can see in the photos, very popular with surfer's and fun to watch for non surfers. A true gem of a park in Munich. Oh this park is huge it'll take a few hours to take it all in.

Online ticketing is very convenient. Large bags need to be stored before entry. With your ticket, you can get a free audio guide, which makes it especially interesting to listen to explanations in your own language. The narration is very detailed, covering the historical stories of the time. I highly recommend visiting if you’re interested in history, culture, or artifacts. If you listen to every section of the audio guide, you could easily spend half a day there. The entire palace is huge, so make sure to allow plenty of time for a relaxed visit.

Beautiful royal palace filled with history and art. The halls and decorations are stunning, especially the Antiquarium and Treasury. Well organized; worth spending 1–2 hours. Great location near Marienplatz; perfect for history lovers. The level of detail in the craftsmanship is unbelievable. Every room, wall, and ceiling shows royal elegance and history. The Antiquarium is breathtaking; truly one of Munich’s must-see landmarks.

Good place to visit on a Sunday since all the shops are closed. You can buy your ticket at the counter. The Residenz is huge and take more than 2 hours to complete. They provide free audio guides and many seats along the tour. You can finish the Treasury in an hour and the Theatre in 5min.

The online ticketing system is super convenient. Keep in mind that large bags need to be stored before you enter. With your ticket, you get access to a free audio guide, which adds a lot of value, especially since you can listen to detailed explanations in your preferred language. The narration is thorough and offers deep insights into the historical context of the artifacts. If you’re into history, culture, or antiques, I highly recommend a visit. If you take the time to listen to all the sections of the audio guide, you could easily spend several hours there. The palace is vast, so be sure to allocate enough time for a relaxed and thorough visit.

Bought tickets online ahead of time which proved helpful! There is an audio guide that they provide but there are SO MANY rooms and the audio guide talks for so long—we eventually abandoned. That said, the Residence is MASSIVE and so so many of the rooms are available for viewing. Incredibly lavish and opulent. We really enjoyed! Side note, they are very serious about not letting people in after an hour before closing. We saw a lot of people turned away and lectured as we were leaving! Plan accordingly!

Only visit the museum itself.It already takes 2 hours. The ticket price is 10 Euro.They offer single ticket and combined tickets which you can visit the treasury and theatre.The theatre only opens from 2-6pm. The museum is very spacious and have lots of exhibitions.

Lots of steps & walking. Good historical museum, some excellent restoration after WWII bombings, but much sadly lost. Lighting could be improved. Reasonable combo ticket! Quiet inside despite protest outside. Free tour headphones. Wonderful staff. Very clean everywhere.

When I went out from underground it was just.. breathtaking. Place is pretty and alive. There's a lot of people, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. Marienplatz is just a heart of Munich. I highly recommend visiting this place!

It’s the perfect spot to sit back, people-watch, and take in the atmosphere. Everything in Munich seems to connect here — the energy, the history, and the charm of the city all in one place. If you’re visiting Munich, don’t miss Marienplatz, especially around noon when the Glockenspiel comes to life, arrive 15 minutes early to find the best spot. It’s such a fun and unforgettable experience!

There’s something about this place — the mix of old buildings, lively atmosphere, and cozy corners — that makes me always end up staying longer than planned. The city center of Munich is an absolutely stunning and lively area centered around the famed Marienplatz. Dominated by the magnificent Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), a Neo-Gothic architectural gem, the square's highlight is the famous Glockenspiel, which draws crowds daily to watch its mechanical figures perform. The area is a fantastic blend of history and modern life, with the towering Frauenkirche (Cathedral) just a short walk away, alongside the bustling Viktualienmarkt and the start of the main pedestrian shopping zones (like Kaufingerstraße). Whether you're sightseeing at the Residenz, shopping for luxury goods, or simply soaking up the authentic Bavarian atmosphere at a nearby Wirtshaus, the city center serves as the perfect, walkable hub for exploring all that Munich has to offer.

There was a lot of exhibits to see and it was nice to have listening stations throughout For English as well. There were some hands on experiences, I was hoping for some more and looking for something a bit more interactive. There was a very wide variety of things to see throughout a journey through history. Overall a nice experience.

It's a vast general museum, encompassing everything not covered in the art and antique museums. Currently half of it is under renovation, but the open part is big enough to keep you busy for a long time. I focused mainly on the air and space aspect, nice collection of vintage and more modern planes, some of the very first rockets including a V2, and a very nice floor on spaceships. I also enjoyed the section on coding. I checked out photography, printing and musical instruments before my time ran out. It was a solid 3 hours. Overall it is good, not necessarily a must-see if you are first time visitor to Munich pressed on time.

A wonderful place to visit with children. The museum offers a great experience, and the restaurant–café on the roof is definitely worth a stop. The river view at sunset is stunning — the sunlight shimmering on the water creates a beautiful scene. Don’t forget to check out the gift shop on your way out for some nice souvenirs.

They had everything there. From engines to aircrafts, nuclear physics to spacecrafts, electronics, medicinal technologies, old and new cameras, receent semiconductor technologies, bridges, pendulums, fighter jets, agriculture and husbandry & whatever your cup of tea is. It is a great museum with literally any type of science in it. It is definitely a must go and you would regret it if you didn't.

Deutsches Museum is not just an exhibit hall: it is a journey through how human curiosity, experimentation, and engineering have shaped the world. If you love science or tech—or want to challenge yourself to understand how many things work (from steam engines to quantum bits), this museum will reward you. Even if you’re only casually interested, the famous pieces (Z3, mining, astronomy, transport, etc.) are enough to make a visit memorable. Highly recommend it, and plan your time well.
