This is a city from Sec XI which remains in the 11th century in terms of acessibility. It was really good if the responsible for the town mantenaince/repair to think about the people with reduced mobility because they can't visit or even get close to the city streets, so difficult, even hard it is even with all the help of my friends. Don't come close... Disappointed !!!! So disappointed.... AVOID if you use a wheelchair! AVOID if you use a scooter! REDUCED MOBILITY AVOID!!!!

Impressive,monumental cathedral in every sense of the word. With highly detailed, intricate sculptures piling on every inch of the building, it is a stunning, beautiful structure all around. There is a large tent set up in the front currently, perhaps for a reception or important event, it obstruct part of the front view. Walk around and to the back, the design continues to impress. There are cafe shops, restaurants and fast food takeout, pastries, souvenir shops nearby. The uniquely frrncg architecture, medieval looking town is so quaint and pretty to visit. Wear comfortable shoes as the town is walkable and all cobblestoned, it can be hard on the feet after a while. There are several other great attractions earby such as the large clock, Jeanne D'Arc church...all are must-see monuments. I didn't go inside the cathedral (not religious) just love European flares, history and art.

The church is beautiful and impressive! You can spend a good time admiring all the details on it. During the evening (10:30pm) they had a light show - it was SO BEAUTIFUL. It had history and beauty in the show and it was captivating. It’s for free, you just need to get around the church and enjoy the free experience. Highly recommend.

Huge impressive cathedral. Tribute to Jeanne d'Arc. Unfortunately, some parts have been distroyed in WW2, and renovated using concrete, and glass windows, instead of vitrages.

Impressive cathedral with wonderful stained glass windows and a crypte. You don’t need to be history or architecture savvy to appreciate this! The impressive tree next to the cathedral was planted in 1797 to commemorate the French Revolution.

Glorious cathedral both inside and out and the 10:30 light show was worth the wait. There are so many intricate designs and figures throughout the building that you could spend hours just checking them out.

Visiting the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris was an absolutely breathtaking experience. It’s truly one of the world’s most stunning architectural masterpieces. It’s amazing to see how beautifully it’s been restored after the devastating fire in 2019. The cleaned marble and vibrant stained glass made the interior glow like never before! Even with the long line (though I’m glad it moved quickly!), it was worth every second. There’s something so magical about standing inside a place with so much history and artistry. Seeing the rose windows, the stained glass windows, the sculptures, and the architecture was awe-inspiring. Notre-Dame always leaves a lasting impression. This 850 years old treasure is back and as magnificent as ever. If you are in Paris it is definitely a must see.

Monet's house and Gardens were a must see on my trip to France. We were just there a few weeks ago (late September) and the gardens were lush and absolutely stunning. We had entry tickets at 12pm and didnt have to wait. It was a great time of year to visit, we got a mix of very colorful flowers, autumn changes starting but also a good amount of water lilies that had bloomed. Really stunning. We walked into the town of Giverny after walking through the house and gardens and it was such a quaint town. We stopped at the Giverny chocolat shop, very good! Highly recommend a stop in Giverny!

Always wanted to visit and I wasn't disappointed. Even in mid October, the gardens are still beautiful with many flowers in bloom. The lily pond had a bit of scum on but still pretty. The house is lovely. So many original photos and paintings, though few of Monet's. Then of course there is the shop. Lots of lovely gifts and books. Plenty of free parking with free overnight campervan parking nearby.

Visiting Claude Monet’s house has been my dream, and it finally came true. The place is truly stunning and incredibly captivating from a design perspective. Every detail is beautifully crafted, and the colors are chosen to perfection. The garden is well-kept and absolutely gorgeous, with the iconic lily pond I had always wanted to see - simply remarkable. The entire estate is so well maintained, and being there felt like touching something truly sublime.

We stopped here on our way to Normandy from Paris and were amazed at all the blooming flowers in late September. Monet’s house was a quaint cottage with beautiful views of the gardens. The restaurant food was delicious and the server was wonderful. Highly recommend it!

I don't know where to start! The house is a piece of art the gardens are pieces of art, the whole town is cute! Absolutely beautiful. Things that should be considered, how to get there, the season, the crowd, so that you know what to expect,I've been there twice, in June it was super hot super crowded but beautiful, and in October , chill weather less crowded, less flowers but the trees were magical

It was quite crowded for a rainy October day. I think it's quite difficult to get there in the summer. When you get off the train from Paris, you have two transportation options: a shuttle and a bus that resembles a children's train. Both cost 10 euros. I don't think the shuttle bus runs between 1:20 and 3:20, so keep that in mind when planning your return train. Monet's extensive Japanese collection was quite striking. The interior was quite colorful. If you don't plan to spend much time taking photos and want to explore the village, 3-3.5 hours is more than enough. There's an interesting mechanical museum in Giverny, open from 2 pm to 6 pm. Time your visit accordingly for a more enjoyable trip. Other than that, it's a typical European village.

Absolutely beautiful but very very crowded. The gardens are very easy to walk with wonderful displays of flowers. The lake is spectacular The house is easy to navigate and quite lovely we had approximately a 15 min queue to enter. I would advise you to buy tickets on line before hand the queues for tickets were massive. We got on line tickets so had no wait time. Parking is plentiful and free. There's a good choice of restaurants and cafes just outside the gardens they are quite pricey.

Unbelievably beautiful cathedral! Have seen quite a few in my lifetime but this one was special. Beautifully restored and not too busy. Loved the inside even more than the outside.

If you are only in Chartres for a few hours spend them visiting the incredible and Architecturally astounding Cathedral. Being the first UNESCO awarded and supported further by the volume of original stain glass. If able to stay for the evening the light show on and around this Cathedral and the surrounding Chartres centre is highly recommended.

Beautiful cathedral of Chartres. They made beautiful renovations, everything is really clear and neat. Even with clouds and no sunshine, the inside is bright enough to see through the painted glasses of the windows. They are marvelous piece of art. If you have the chance to be in the area, you should take the time to walk there and look for yourself how gigantic and stunning it is. What actually surprised me the most is how modern they are inside. They have contactless payment card machine for donation at each corner of the cathedral. So if you don't have coins like me, you can still use your card to pay to lit a candle or novena. The hours of the priest are written on a card board inside. The confessional is brightly litten and has a priest waiting inside for anyone who wants to confess theirs sins. This is unseen for me before today in France. There is also a treasury room which you have to pay to access it. Overall a great place to visit. I advise to park your car at the parking lot of Cathedral. There almost non existant place to park there.

Magnificent, historic, surrounded by lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and not flooded with tourists when we visited. Chartres is an utterly beautiful city well worth a couple of days of your time. BEWARE, the cathedral is atop a hell of a climb up through steeply sloped streets.

One of the greatest High Gothic cathedrals now reinvented with its controversial very light painting of the pillars and vaulted ceilings… it grew on me as we walked round, I concluded it’s wonderful not least by setting off the magical 13th C stained glass. We love the way it feels it’s still an active place of worship, not the case in all French cathedrals.

A beautiful cathedral that easily rivals the Paris equivalent. We were lucky to visit at a time where it was illuminated at night. Very impressive. However if you're visiting the crypt, make sure you are told correctly where the tour starts, as we were given wrong instructions and therefore missed it. Staff could have been more helpful here.

It is such a beautiful church. The artworks are magnificent. I love how they have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from Tuesday to Saturday; before the daily mass.

Huge cathedral, at least in my experience, as I am not really a cathedral expert.... One can choose which Saint to honour of to pray to or burn a candle for. Extremely detailed tableaux with more or less medieval daily life and church life images. The whole building is so full of symbols and sculptures that it is impossible to grasp. The large organ was under restoration, but also that is huge. Worth a visit, it is for free and nice cool inside on top of all those holiness.

I have a thing for Cathedrals, and this one was exceptional. Bigger than the one in Paris it’s filled with stunning details. Free light show on the facade every evening in the summer. We visited on a Friday afternoon and it was very quiet. We were driving past Amiens and I’m very glad we stopped!

I was stunned at first sight and drawn into the mysticism and ritual. Then suddenly the Sun came out and the nave was bathed in mystic light and I was stunned anew. It was a night-and -day experience and it was still only noon. The experiences you have here are of the things you hold dear for your life.

Built in the 1200s to impress and to house John the Baptist’s head, and it still does both. Bigger than Notre-Dame in Paris, sharper in detail, cleaner in structure. The façade is a textbook in Gothic sculpture, but not chaotic — it’s all deliberately ordered. Inside, it’s vast and surprisingly bare, which only makes the architecture stand out more. Worth a visit but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend going to Amiens specifically to see the cathedral.

Visiting Amiens Cathedral was like stepping into a living monument of medieval art, history, and faith. It’s a Gothic cathedral in the north of France. It’s huge, peaceful, and full of beautiful details from the 13th century. Also: It’s wheelchair accessible with ramps and smooth paths.

This church is the largest Gothic cathedral in Europe. I was skeptical about this having been to Notre Dame in Paris many times. I really wasn't prepared for how tall this building is, it was astonishing really. It's not as beautiful as the one in Paris especially since the renovation there, but very impressive nonetheless. Amiens is a lovely town to visit, don't miss taking a boat tour of the canal. It's beautiful and affordable.

What's not to love. It's an incredible landmark and more beautiful than I imagined. Make sure to take pictures not just close up but farther away as well. If you are trying to figure out where to stay, I would recommend staying near the arc instead of near the Eiffel Tower.

I visited the observatory in spring, summer, autumn and winter because the colours around the Arc de Triomphe change with each season, and they are beautiful. The view is also different by day and by night; while the Eiffel Tower offers a lovely panorama, the Champs-Élysées seen from here, especially at night, is even more striking and well worth the climb. Most people do not take the lift but climb the very narrow circular stone staircase, so those with mobility issues or the elderly should use the lift instead. Tickets must be purchased in advance for your preferred time slot on the official website. The staff at the ticket desk are very friendly, so if you need assistance, simply queue and they will be glad to help.

Well, if one is in Paris it’s hard not to visit. Queues can be long so best to get there early and be prepared to wait for a while. Tickets are not expensive. We walked up the stairs to the second floor which was a right mission... but so worth it the views as you walk up are brilliant. Had a refreshment stop before heading to the top via the elevator. Stunning views of the city on a very clear fine day...

Beautiful structure no matter which angle you take the photo from whether it's day time or night time. There's a small museum on top of the tower. Amazing views of the surrounding areas around Eiffel Tower. It's good if you take the skip the line ticket as you can go up without queueing.

Proud to have actually been there to see it. Incredible fascinating structure. Great view, if one manages to go up for a look-see. Naturally, a ticket needs to be bought as per one's time slot. There are lifts to take you up, some tiny shops to let you browse and to buy souvenirs for back home give-aways.

A wonderful collection of art from the time of the invent of the camera forward. The Orsay Museum houses some of the world's most treasured art pieces. From Monet, Gauguin, Manet, Renoior to Van Gogh and so many more. Paintings and sculptures abound in the former train station. A half-day should be the minimum amount of time spent in the great halls of the Orsay. My last visit we elected to use a self-guided audio tour and enjoyed every step. The Dance at the Moulin De La Galette by Renoir is my current favorite. Degas' multi-texture sculpture Petite danseuse de quatorze ans is another favorite. The Orsay is along the Seine near many other stops that I like to make when in the area. Stroll along the river and take in the magazine stands and vendors. Maybe a river tour starting from Pont Neuf. With a little time left in your day the Luxembourg Gardens and the Shakespeare and Co Bookstore are easy additions to your afternoon trek. While I might prefer the Louvre or the Vatican overall as a museum...the Orsay has so many great works of art it should be included on your itinerary. Definitely, something for everyone on this side of the Seine.

I absolutely loved the Musée d’Orsay in every way. I'm still processing the incredible experience— the art, its history, and the vibrant energy that fills the space. The best part was that, even during my 3–4 hour visit, it never felt overwhelming like some other large museums. I'll definitely return every time I visit Paris.

Big museum with nice art. Building used to be a train station and they converted it into a museum There are 3 floors and stairs are on both ends. There is a restaurant with an outside terrace to take nice pictures from. I'd recommend coming here if you're in the area.

I didn’t get the ticket in advance but it was very easy to get in. There was only a few people in front of me at purchase point and no wait to get in. Quite crowded inside but if you navigate yourself well you can find moments where people passed by and the spots become quiet. Insane collections. Love love love their pieces. Highly recommend coming here for the Paris visit. I would plan at least 2 hours for being in here so you dont rush around. It was wonderful!

Wow!!! Just wow!!! One of the Must See places in this beautiful city of Love and Lights!!! Paris is my favorite city in the world and this is one of the many reasons why!!! Starry Night is here!!!! Many other amazing pieces of art are houses in this amazing museum!!! Plan on a full day here and make sure to have a meal in the iconic restaurants located here🇫🇷❤️💯

Too many tourists - the impressionist section was more like a football ground. The museum controlled the entrance to the cafe better than the crowds in the impressionist section. It was impossible to enjoy the art. Not worth the entrance fee in my view.

A beautiful large museum that used to be a train station. Has multiple levels of art work from modern to post impressionism. The Starry night was one of the main attractions. There is a huge cafe on the top level, and a large outside area to see great views of Paris - can clearly see the Sacre Couer Basilique in the distance. This is a must visit in Paris.

The building itself is a piece of art and then you have all the expositions and collections. Just make sure you enjoy art and reserve the whole day for it as it has rooms on end. Particularly fun was seeing the interpretations of period specific dresses by famous design houses.

It was a short time in Paris so I can't book the ticket in advance. And the day I come to the museum close( on Tuesday). You can book the tickets 🎟 from the website. But I had a chance to visit around, it was a very big place. If you want to see all you need to take more days for it. You have to book before you come. If not, you'll have to wait a few hours to buy a ticket. It was a famous place and I guess it was a main museum in Paris. I was going down to get some relax and play some game 🎮 down there. That was a fun and great experience. I might come back to visit the Louvre museum next time. Highly recommended when you visit Paris

An unforgettable experience! It’s the biggest and one of the most visited museums in the world. The Louvre is truly a treasure trove of world history and art — from the Mona Lisa’s mysterious smile to the grand halls lined with masterpieces. Although the lines are long, it’s absolutely worth the wait. Give yourself plenty of time — you’ll want to get lost in its endless beauty!

World's biggest museum so you have to visit it when in Paris. Worth the visit because there are some world class works of art here. Mona Lisa is the most popular art piece in this museum and it will always be crowded to view it. But plenty of signs leading you to exactly where this is located. The queue was not too bad on a Thursday morning. I reserved for 10am and got in around 10:20am. You line up right outside the glass pyramid. There will be signs for the different times you reserved for. Bring a water bottle with water because the museum did not have a single water fountain. I consciously looked for them and did not find any. Or you can buy an expensive bottle of water from their cafeteria. I stayed for 4 hours and looks like prime time was around 1pm. The cafeteria was packed and people were standing to eat.

Totally worth the visit, but be prepared to walk for more than 4 hours if you want to see everything it has to offer. A lot of different cultures, time periods and artifacts. One of the best museums I’ve ever visited! Buy the tickets in advance and be there 10mins before your time slot!

The greatest museum I have ever seen in Europe. You can see so many different arts. I recommend buying tickets in advance online, otherwise there is a 1-1,5 hour waiting time to entry. Prepare to spend the entire day in the museum. You need about 6-7 hours to see all the museum. You can find coffee shops inside, or bring something to eat with you

Notre-Dame absolutely took my breath away! The cathedral is even more beautiful in person than in pictures — the details on the outside are incredible, and the stained glass inside is just magical. You can really feel the history in every corner. What’s amazing is that it’s completely free to enter the main cathedral! You can just walk in, take your time, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s such a peaceful, awe-inspiring place right in the middle of Paris. Even though parts are still being restored, it’s 100% worth visiting. Don’t miss it — it’s one of those spots that truly captures the spirit of Paris!

An absolute must see when visiting Paris. If you’re able to climb up the towers, I highly recommend it. We were able to get a ticket for 6 PM and made it to the top right around 7 PM in time for sunset. It is over 400 steps of a spiral staircase, but totally worth the view. As for the cathedral highly recommend booking your tickets two days in advance so you don’t have to wait in the extremely line long line. But if you do wait in the line, it does move pretty fast. The cathedral has been restored beautifully. It was such an amazing thing to see.

Although the rear is not finished with the rebuild following the fire it’s still brilliant. The detailing on the front facade is gorgeous. It’s free to enter the main cathedral but the queues are SO long that you’ll need to decide whether the time spent queuing and missing all the other amazing sites of Paris is worth it for you personally. You really have to see it in person to truly appreciate all the intricacies.

Learning about the historical artifacts that are housed inside, like the legendary Crown of Thorns, was incredible. ​Seeing it standing so resiliently after the tragic fire is a powerful reminder of its importance to Paris and the world. Even with the ongoing restoration, the spirit and grandeur of this iconic cathedral are undeniable. You simply cannot miss it.

Notre-Dame de Paris is nothing short of breathtaking. The cathedral stands as a powerful symbol of history, culture, and timeless beauty. The Gothic architecture is stunning from every angle — the intricate stone carvings, towering spires, and iconic rose windows are even more impressive in person. Walking around the cathedral, you feel the weight of centuries of craftsmanship and devotion. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere still manages to be peaceful and awe-inspiring. It’s easy to see why this place has touched so many people for so many years. Notre dame was absolutely beautiful and stunning on the outside. As a UK tourist, it looked so grand and magnificent in person like a historic piece of artwork where years of hardwork building and sculpting had gone into it. The wait outside wasn't too long and the queue was organised. However, I felt the inside of the cathedral needed a bit more work and improvement with some of the displays, it didn't seem to captivate me as much inside as the outside. Also the historic art virgin and child statue was moved outside suddenly on a pole and that concerned me with the weather outside causing more wear and tear. But overall it was a great attraction to visit.

Very cool seeing this beautiful cathedral. I recommend. Is quite crowded but go early in the morning perhaps or on weekdays and off season to get the most of your experience. Very neat. We didn't go in, just saw from outside as we felt that was enough, also huge cues.

Fantastic day out, bought the Gold level fast passes so walked on to most rides, wasn’t overcrowded. Little bit more of a language barrier then say at Disney but it didn’t cause us any issues. Highly recommend visiting even if you don’t know the comics as the rides are amazing!

Good theme park in northern France, 45 minutes from Paris. If you enjoy Asterix and Obelix you will enjoy this parc. Themed after them. Easy to get to, easy parking. A bit expensive tbh 20 euro at the time of writing the review. The rest of the parc is a bit on the cheaper side of the theme parc pricing. Merchandise is a bit more reasonable priced then other Parcs, also goes for food and drinks. They have some really great coasters, and also a lot of lesser thrill rides for if you have smaller children. Indeed a parc for the whole family. The "Greek" part of the parc seems a little worn down and could use a bit of a overhaul but the Icarus ride there is really great. The best parts are the Egyptian area and the village area. Recommend if you are in the area!

Great theme park. Rides are great and queues are short. Longest queue is around 45 mins on bank holiday in August. They have worked hard on the theming. So much better than Alton Towers.

Great day at Parc Asterix on Halloween 2025. The park was decorated fantastically and the staff did a great job creating scary moments (my son was terrified by the chainsaw man). The Parc feels like it's split in two, one area around the lake feels more dated and in need of refurb, whereas the area with Toutatis is much better. The Parc has a great selection of rides and coasters - Toutatis in particular is amazing and worth the admission alone. Kids enjoyed it and I'd happily return. Would recommend it over Disney for rollercoaster enthusiasts.

Parc Astérix was hands down the best theme park experience we had in Paris. It’s more affordable than Disneyland Paris and offers a wider variety of rides; especially for thrill seekers. From roller coasters to immersive themed zones, the park delivers nonstop fun without the need for a fast pass. The only real downside is accessibility. Unlike Disney, which is easily reached via public transportation, getting to Parc Astérix requires a bit more planning. It’s located outside the city in Plailly, and while there are shuttle options, they’re less frequent and not as straightforward. Food options are pretty much what you’d expect from most parks; not the best, but they get the job done. Another thing to note: their operating hours are more limited than other theme parks we’re used to. Depending on the season, the park may close earlier or be open fewer days, so it’s worth checking ahead when planning your visit. Still, once you arrive, the experience is absolutely worth it. We loved our time there and would recommend it to anyone looking for high-energy attractions and a break from the usual tourist circuit.

Lovely place, full of amazing rides with a good choose of rollercoasters for everyone. Lots of activities live people in costumes and the Coliseum where performances take place. It's like Disneyland.

Great theme park, with an attention to the theme throughout the park and each area. The staff were obviously happy at work and had fun with the visitors. It was hot the day we visited and the staff had water pistols, a great fun addition to the queue. The park was very clean and well looked after, the rides all worked all of the day. My only negative is that Toutatis was not operating all day and no one seemed to be able to tell us why. We will definitely be coming back.

The experience as a family is 100% and you make infinity of core memories! The organization, the set-up and walking distance between the rides are totally walkable. Hint, have your youngest kid at a hight of 120cm to be able to let them ride almost everything (Indiana Jones is 140cm hight requiret) The app crashed so many times, that I'm more than happy to delete it after the trip! Bring your own food! And beverage!

Absolutely worth the trip! Any Marvel Avengers fan will be in love here. Super fun rides! Absolutely loved the Avengers rollercoaster ride and the Spiderman ride. The Spiderman ride was super cool because you got to sling webs at enemies just like Spiderman. Awesome merchandise store with cool Avengers merch! Huge indoor dining area with lots of food options, including vegan options! Try the vegan salad at Studio 1, it’s great! Also you can get your picture with Mickey Mouse and other characters here!! Really fun, clean, exciting, nostalgic, amazing park! Really cool animatronic Iron Man looks so realistic! Life-size Iron Man Hulkbuster suit at the Stark Factory was so cool. This place is amazing. If you have kids or are a kid at heart and have time to go, do it. Take comfortable shoes because the queues are immense. However the atmosphere is superb. The only down side is the price for everything on site. But well worth going just for the evening show and the music....... Warning the music is like an earworm and becomes an obsession if not careful.

Disney Studios is a fantastic park and (normally) i would go as far to say i prefer it over the main Disney park....but.... it is having major work done, and as such this has vastly decreased the park's size. The rest of it still keeps the Disney charm though. Despite visiting at the weekend we found the queues were not as bad as expected (apart from Spiderman). Worth bringing your own snacks in otherwise you'll be waiting a while and paying a lot for it. GOOD 👍 Attention to detail, especially in the sets. Looks fantastic. Some amazing rides. BAD 👎 Half of it is shut off. The old "Backstage Tour" ride has been rebranded and shrunk and is a shadow of it's former self.

The place is nice, but tiny. The attractions are good, and I paid for a "fast pass", which is utterly expensive, but you can only use it once in every attraction, which is absolutely unfair. You pay almost triple the normal fare, so you should be able to enter as many times as you wanted, like it is in Universal parks in Florida, but no. If you want to reenter one attraction, you have to do the normal lane. Unbelievable. And, to aggravate things, several attractions were damaged or closed, which made things much worse, because you have not a lot of choices. Rest aside, the park is enjoyable for the family as ever other Disney park (I know also the ones in Florida).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walt Disney Studios has transformed so much in recent years! The Ratatouille ride is still a must-do, incredibly immersive and very Parisian (currently under renovation but set to reopen even better in 2026). The new Avengers Campus is a highlight — Spider-Man and Flight Force are thrilling, and the whole Marvel area is full of energy and character encounters. Pixar theming adds charm throughout the park, and with the upcoming expansions (Frozen, Lion King, new entrance hub, Pixar lands), the future looks amazing. Crowds can be heavy, but the magic and quality of the attractions keep me coming back.

Doesn't have the wow factor as the main theme park but certainly is still a great day out. Make sure you leave enough time in your trip to fully explore Walt Disney Studios, do the rides and make sure you see some shows. Nice that they are next door to each other so heading from one to the other on the same day isn't a problem. Tower of Terror is still a great ride after all these years!

Disneyland Paris is an absolute magical experience! From the moment you enter, you feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. The park is beautifully themed, the rides are exciting for both kids and adults, and there’s so much to see and do. The parades and shows are spectacular, full of energy and charm. Food and merchandise options are plentiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. It’s easy to spend a whole day exploring everything. Truly a must-visit for Disney fans and anyone looking for a fun, unforgettable experience in France!

Fantastic!! Absolutely worth the trip! Delicious food, friendly staff, awesome rides, cool attractions, beautiful park, amazing park design, fun merchandise, plenty of places to enjoy, fun for kids and adults of all ages. The restaurants had a wide variety of foods! I loved their vegan options. Incredible design of the Star Wars area was my favorite. Fun parade of costumed dancers dancing down Main Street upon arrival was great. Everything is well done here, all of the staff are top notch. The rides are super fun and make you want to re-ride them immediately. The merchandise shopping has an endless selection all over the park. Beautiful fireworks light show at night upon park closing is definitely worth waiting to see. Definitely worth staying in a walking distance hotel nearby so you aren’t stuck waiting for public transit at the end of the night!!!!!!!!! Shout out to Walt Disney, we all love you!

Both parks are equally good so it’s well worth getting tickets for both. You can comfortably allow a day for each if you have never been before. If you go for a second/third/fourth time you can probably make a long day of it and do the rides and attractions you know you want to do in a single day. The parks are not as big as the ones in Florida but not far off. As ever with a trip to Disney, you can’t expect to turn up and get a table at one of the character restaurants so book those as soon as you’re able to. And check what the situation is with fast passes online before getting there. I believe the days of getting them with your entrance tickets are gone so definitely worth checking before you arrive. Meeting the characters is great but it absolutely devours your time in the parks so decide early on if you want to get into all that. Make sure you download the app before getting there and connect to the park WiFi on arrival. It’s great for seeing the wait times for rides and where to head if you’re doing rope drop. The only thing that can let it down for me are the staff but hey, Disney did decide to build it in France. They could do with taking a leaf out of Tokyo Disney’s book.

Incredible experience everyone needs to go regardless of age and gender! Staff were amazing and so helpful, we had fast track and can’t recommend it enough. They had a gluten free buckwheat crepes, chocolate covered strawberries and a turkey leg, it wasn’t much but all tasted very good. It was a very clean park with lots to do. The firework display was fantastic and so were the parades and shows.

An amazing place for adults and children alike. Especially those with children should visit it. Be prepared to be patient at some of the rides, but it's worth the wait. You must see the parade in the afternoon, and the evening show after the fireworks is something you will never see anywhere else.

This is a fantastic place to visit,from the UK it’s ideal,so close by plane,just like hopping on a bus. Basically it’s a dream come true for age groups especially the really young,to see the wonderment in their eyes will stay with us forever. All the staff we met were amazing,nothing was too much trouble,everything you could possibly need was well catered for and nothing was too much trouble,the only thing I would say though is pace yourselves because this place is vast and you can wear yourself out very easily if you try to do too much in a day. Absolutely beautiful! With emersive headphones you can really imagine what life was like in the 1600s. We went in mid Sept and almost had the place to ourselves. Beautiful gardens. Highly recommend seeing this amazing chateau.

We only came to walk the gardens, so I can't speak about the inside tour. We had visited so many similar places, we assumed it wouldn't offer anything new. It's a bit expensive to just walk the gardens, but we were on vacation, so....you pay. There are many better locations that offer walking in the garden for free. Consider that before visiting here.

I you want to realize where Versailles comes from , you have to visit the chateau of Vaux le Vicomte. It took roughly 20 years to achieve this fabulous and human size castle that inspired Louis XIV to order the construction of the chateau de Versailles. Take the audio guide to enjoy the visit to its fullest. Check the hours because it is not open year round.

A must see if you are visiting Paris! The audio tour is also a must. Each room tells a story and the audio is very entertaining. We didn’t get to see Hercules up close but I would recommend renting a golf cart because it’s a very far walk.

Nestled in the French countryside, this magestic chateau sits on a sprawling 1200 acres. Rich in history and legends. There a fantastic audio tour that is included in your 18 euros entry fee. Make sure you take advantage of it. The gardens are splendid designed and very relaxing to walk through. Golf cart rentals are available for 25 euro an hour. Don’t miss admiring the drive up to the chateau that is tree lined with gorgeous trees hundreds of years old. Absolutely beautiful.

Really loved the audio guide that gave great information but was entertaining the way it is done. Took us about an hour and a half to go through and a great picture of the non wine history in Beaune. Especially liked the pharmacie room and the presentation of every day life in those times.

This was definitely the highlight of our visit in Beaune. The building used to be a hospital for poor people and is now very well restored. Entrance fee is Euro 12 - you can book online or pay at the spot. The roof and the building itself are very beautiful but they cannot be seen from outside. You need to purchase a ticket. I am glad we did.

Great place to learn about how medicine was practices since the 15th century. Well restored and well presented. Their audio guide is an excellent teaching and learning tool, especially the “if you would like to learn more” green button.

Step back in time of old style hospital. Magnificent building with a tiled roof you can see best from inside the large courtyard. Well worth the entry fee. Booklet or headphones self audio tour are included with ticket price.

Working for a Hospice charity, I enjoyed seeing the granddad of Hospices in Beaune. This town was caring for the vulnerable from before my country was even discovered. Amazing tour and worth the ticket price to enter.

A must have seen in Beaune. Yes the roof is great. But for me the history of the very old hospital and its foundation fascinates me more. You get an audioguide, which I highly recommand. The tour is about 1 to 1,5 hours. A lot old hospital furnitures and equipment. Entrance was 12€, which is ok for such an historic place!

The Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière is one of Lyon’s most iconic landmarks, visible from almost anywhere in the city. Personally, I usually find the interiors of Orthodox churches more spiritual, but this basilica’s interior really amazed me — it’s beautiful and inspiring. The exterior is just as impressive, and the panoramic view over Lyon from the top is fantastic. You can get there easily by tram, or hike up if you prefer (which I’d also recommend). Nearby, the Roman Theatre and archaeological site are free to visit and very well preserved. Both the basilica and the ruins are definitely worth seeing.

Arriving late evening in Lyon, our Uber driver took us here on a quick detour to our hotel ‘because it is so very beautiful, and you guys can see view of Lyon skyline from there’. Indeed it was a beautiful Basilica, majestic even in the dark of night. Indeed it was an impressive view of Lyon. Very grateful of him, blessed his soul. I got the chance to go back the next morning, and although did not got the chance to go inside, my appreciation grew even more about the opportunity to visit. A must go when you are in Lyon. If your hotel is not nearby, they have tram from the city center that stops directly in front.

Beautifully located on top of a hill, and Best to take an Uber to get there. There is also a vista point on the side of the church with great views of the whole city. If you can walk down the hill, you can visit a nice museum with an outdoor Greek theatre. You can also take a short cut and walk the stairs down the hill

Lovely place to visit in Lyon. Get a day ticket for € 6.90 and couple of trains later you are there. Beautiful views of the city (sunset as well). Basilica is amazing. Don't compare it with Vatican however it is grand in its own way.

It is a marvelous place to visit even when you are not Christian. The interior of the basilica Notre-Dame of Fourvière in Lyon, is tremendously high. The walls are astonishing and it drops your mouth down to the floor. I have not taken many pictures inside because my eyes were focused on all the tiny details in each stunning things my eyes would lay eyes on. If one thing to visit in Lyon, it clearly is there and Paul Bocuse Market^^.

What a beautiful basilica one has the pleasure to see, adore and to participate because during our vist a mass was held. The church has an endless history to show, not only in the holy Christian sense but also in its rich architectural designs. A real treat to be there.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating despite a language barrier. I was even given a free salad! Food was some of the best me and my friends have ever had and is well priced. The restaurant atmosphere was incredible as well. We all agreed we would absolutely eat here again 👍

The food was delicious and the waiters really helpful to translate to English for us. They even had a English menu. The place was warm and the pizza oven in the heart of the restaurant. It felt like an authentic Italian family business.

Fantastic, very touristy nowadays but there are still some hidden gems that are quiet but you’ll need a car to find them (one was through an industrial estate so very hidden). Restaurants are great and people very friendly

This would have been beautiful in the right weather. It was just our luck that we arrived in the height of Summer, at the end of a heatwave and were met with heavy rain and thunderstorms o the water didn't have its famous greenish-blue hue. It is a lovely natural beauty surrounded by mountains.

I was just remembering how much we loved it there last year. My son and I rented bikes and went all around the lake. We also got a pedal boat and took a swim. Saw some young people doing a rope swing jump and did that too. Fabulous.

I took a day trip from Lyon, a great place, I'm sorry I only stayed one day, it's definitely worth 2-3 days! A place not to be missed if you're in the area!

It is a MUST to go, partying, water scakating, swimming and lots of boat cruises around the great lake surrounded by magnificent mountains. 30 min away and your up amongst snowy mountains as early as September.

We were here in early July and it was a nice walk along the lake to this museum perched on a small hill in the middle of a lovely park. Please visit the grounds even if you do not step inside the museum. Nice views over the lake and pleasant outdoor Olympic related art and information sprinkled through the outdoor grounds and all of this is free to access. Inside it is a well curated place with lots of information for an Olympics fan. We did it all in about 2 hours. The gift shop is where you buy the entrance tickets. Pro tip: if you do have a ticket and are there during the daytime, you do NOT need a lunch reservation to simply have a drink on their glorious outdoor terrace at the restaurant on the top floor. We just asked the host if we could sit outside for a drink and he enthusiastically said of course! What views!!! Drinks were not cheap but not more expensive than any other restaurant. So if you are curious and didn’t make a lunch reservation, please do stop by and see if you can snag a seat outside. The staff were kind and helpful.

It is obviously a must visit museum if you are in the Olympic capital Lausanne. Everything is very well presented. I particularly love the video clips introducing every Olympic Games through the years, as every clip begins with important events of that year. I’d very much love to finish them all but my schedule doesn’t allow me to. All the collections are inspiring and hold collective memories of people from all over the world, some of which remind me of the days when I was little and watched on TV the Olympic Games with my father. The -1 floor is fun. View of the lake from the terrace of the restaurant is stunning. Free access for Swiss pass holders.

Very nice. We were desperately looking for a clean bathroom that’s also free lol. It’s nice to see the poster of the Beijing Olympic in 2008. Unfortunately we only found the poster card but not many other souvenirs options such as fridge magnet for the Beijing Olympic.

Highlights include a section about art and design of the posters and iconography of the Olympics, as well as a well rounded gift shop with good items at all price ranges

Olympics museum is a must visit place for all Olympic fans. The location is stunning on the shores of lake Geneva in Lausanne. Infrastructure of museum is excellent with free locker rooms for storage. You study entire history of Olympics from its origin in Greece to revival of modern Olympics. There are archives of summer and winter Olympic games, mascots and models of all Olympic torches, Olympic uniforms etc. The museum used excellent multimedia to present everything. There are videos on projector screen which display opening ceremonies of all Olympic seasons. However, Olympics museum has lots of scope for expansion considering its huge space. You can have interactive games like FIFA museum in Zurich. A Hall of Fame can also be made featuring most celebrated Olympians of all times like Michael Phelps. A special section for upcoming Olympics can also be done. Hope to see these updates with passing time. Entry to Olympics museum is free with Swiss Travel Pass.

This museum is located facing Lausanne (Geneva)Lake with a nice park in front and is very well connected through road and metro rail network. It is a fantastic audio visual experience indoor as well out door and must see for tourists. Plan to spend at least 2 hours here and you will cherish it.

We spent there more than 2 hours. Interactive, with plenty of interesting information, surrounded by a nice park, with a great view and even access to a beach. If you are in Lausanne, must visit. Tickets are 20 CHF per person, no needed to buy in advance.

Well maintained castle, modestly furnished, with a collection of interesting frescoes and murals. Strategically built on a small island, it used both the Lake Geneva and a moat created between the island and the mainland for defense. Our group had arrived in the late afternoon just in time to enjoy free wine tasting of some local wines, then proceeded to explore the medieval halls and underground chambers. The view from some rooms onto the lake and the Alps is stunning. It is the most visited monument in Switzerland.

This lakeside Castle with breathtaking view was stunning, pictures didn't do it justice. Its magical setting made it one of Switzerland’s most enchanting landmarks. I fully enjoyed my visit, highly recommend.

Château de Chillon is actually really big to explore, especially with the guided map they provide you. I was so tired, a lot of exploring new rooms that never seem like it would end. If you didn’t know, this castle inspired Prince Eric’s in The Little Mermaid. You can hear tons of water sounds by the prison area. It was relative peaceful for me as there weren’t much crowds and kids, so sometimes I got to explore rooms alone.

Beautiful castle (Little Mermaid was inspired on it) with lots of history. I really recommend taking the audio guide which is super complete. It lets you wonder alone around the castle which is a magical experience. The castle is in great conservation, and the dungeons are particularly beautiful. Would recommend this visit if you’re around. You can buy tickets directly upon arrival, and the audio guide takes like 2h to complete

The best view I’ve had from any castle I’ve visited so far. The castle is beautifully preserved, with authentic medieval furnishings that clearly took great effort to maintain. It’s generously open to the public, with access to nearly every corner—even up the creaky wooden staircases, which add to the sense of stepping back in time. Free entry for Swiss pass holders. Fascinating experience. We spent several hours wandering through the castle. The careful preservation of this site allows an understanding of history, with excellent access to all areas both indoors and outdoors and detailed information boards throughout. It is also a lovely lakeside walk from Montreux (after ferry from Lausanne) and a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating is opposite. A truly wonderful morning.

Chillon Castle is a medieval island castle located on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, near Montreux. It is the most visited historic monument in Switzerland. Come for their nice history and good lake views, indeed very photo worthy! After all it’s free with SWISS TRAVEL PASS.

Just out of this world experience. The views are absolutely stunning. The facilities are amazing considering the height. Multiple decks for panoramic views. Do keep in mind that the oxygen level will be low and some might feel a bit dizzy. Once in a life time experience,

Your amazing ride starts in the center of chamonix, there you will take the most thrilling cable car ride if you life. With the best views, grass that turns u to snow, and trees that turn into massive cliffs. Aguille du midi is a must for everyone. The views at the top are truly out of this world and make you seem so small. Would recommend to everyone visiting chamonix. Give out of five stars

Excellent view of the Alps from here. We were fortunate that the sky were clear. The view is better than the one we experienced in Jungfraujoch.

Wow!!! Just stunning. Exceptional views 360. Will do again. Review will not do any justice. You just have to go. Nice cafe as well. Stairs from elevator to cafe was a bit of a drag in the thin air. Wife’s lips turned purple from lack of oxygen. Be aware of the signs.

Absolutely astonishing views from the top. A must visit location in Chamonix!! It's pricey but worth each cent. Turnaround ticket for adult is 95€. Check the webcam before to make sure that it is sunny on the top as the weather differs alot and clouds in the valley do not mean clouds on top.

Incredible view . The beauty is breathtaking. You can see the highest peak in Europe from afar. Many people paragliding here. It is a must-visit place in life.

The cable bus from the Chamonix city with a change over in between takes you to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. This peak is exactly in the border of France and Italy. A 20 minutes journey of ten each takes you to the peak. To see the mont blanc, you have to take a pass like temporary visa to the italian side and from the peak to which a lift is taking you, you can see the mont blanc. There is also a glass cage with dead drop bottom. The view from the top is magnificient. It takes you to the view of entire iced surroundings. The mont blanc is the highest peak of Alps. More famous for limited edition pen. They are allowing a total of 2 and half hours to see and come back. On a sunny day, the views are beautiful. The climate is sometimes minus in the peak

The location and pools were great. Most pools had luke warm water with the exception of the pool at the top, which was hot. The dry sauna was hot and delightful. The inside water rooms were fun. My problem was with the staff. The young lady with brown hair and glasses who was in charge of seating for the aperitif on August 1 at 1900 was very rude. She came to our table and instead of making polite conversation with us, she told us story after story about how our home country was full of stupid people, we don't know geography, our food is bad, and we all go around waving guns. Although she has never been to our home country, she was sure to tell us everything wrong with it. It was uncomfortable and insulting.

Amazing experience! From the very beginning staff were nice and helpful, the service was great throughout. The location is absolutely perfect - you swim in the hot water underneath the snowy Mont Blanc. The views and scenery is gorgeous. The place’s facilities are great, the have plenty of hot baths (covered and outside) so it is never too crowded, and they have saunas, relaxing area, massages and lunch. The food at lunch was excellent as well. You receive everything you need - a towel, slippers and a robe, and even a change of robe if you have lunch. The shower area is very well equipped and well designed. Absolutely recommended!

Not the best experience at this spa, we went there at 6, and given a happy hour at 6:45. Which we completely missed because there is only a single clock hidden in one of the buildings. Also we where not told that there are no food options on the premises, so we went hungry for our time there. Many people brought their phones in to take pictures, videos and face time, this made us uncomfortable. I would not recommend people going to this spa for a relaxing time, the view is wonderful, but you don't need to be in this spa to see it. Also there where no employee's to speak to about issues.

The facilities are great. The Lady with classes working in the Bistro was very rude. We were not informed that the Bistro was only available up until a certain time. We missed the slot and were Rudely expelled

Absolutely stunning spa getaway in the mountains. Went here while on a rest day in Coumayeur hiking along the Tour du Mont Blanc, and it was the highlight of my rest. Felt refreshed to get back on the trail the next day.

The views are beautiful. However, Was extremely disappointed here. (Only used spa and had lunch and aperitif) Have been to various QC TERME and this has to be the worst for service. The hospitality staff were rude and I wont go back to this particular qc. That being said every other QC has everything.

The terme was nice and relaxing, but there were no signs to help people find their way, especially to the upstairs rooms. First-timers might miss the stairs. Better guidance is needed, and people with lone hair should be asked to tie their hair more properly.

Nature is so beautiful, lots of marked trails for hikers and so clean. It is a stunning experience and such a lovely place, recommended for both hikers and those who are not. Train ride up there is around 40 minutes from Zermatt if you are planning to go all the way up, or a bit less if you are planning to hike a bit till the top station.

Phenomenal - very beautiful mountain surrounded by very beautiful landscapes and a great small cozy town, Zermatt🤩. I was there in July 2023 and it was amazing. We had lunch at the restaurant in Schwarzee which was also with a very good view of Matterhorn and the surroundings. I can truly recommend going here, for sure!

This is an awesome mountain. Really steep on the cable car (what do you expect people who have put too steep) and nice and cool from the warm temperatures below (as you'd expect being 4000m above sea level).

Iconic Switzerland at its best. The views of the Matterhorn are simply world-class. Whether hiking, skiing, or just relaxing, it’s magical.

Beautiful mountain scenery and cute sheeps. On Matterhorn, the sheep season was already over in October. But we were lucky to find sheeps on the hills west of Zermatt :)

Probably the icon you could think about Switzerland! Spent 3 days in Zermatt, found it not too difficult to have a look towards the peak as the distance and altitude is not that far away. Rifflesee (Gornergrat area) gives the best view with a mirroring lake surface. The 5 lakes hike in Sunnegga is also spectacular. Both hikes are easy and almost all downhill if you hop off the cable cars from higher stations.

In my experience it was way better than Jungfrau. My family loved it. You can take the tram to the second to last stop and start walking down along the track for a beautiful view of the lake, the top of the mountain, the valley.

great place to spend half a day outdoors with your family. the zoo is cared for down to the smallest details, clean and equipped with all the comforts that families need: bars, restaurants, toilets, many bins for recycling in different parts of the park. the animals are well cared for and happy. it is truly a pleasure to visit a place like this. I recommend buying tickets online so as not to waste time at the ticket office. there are two convenient and spacious car parks. disabled people enter for free and every place is accessible by wheelchair/stroller. great experience! you can participate in the bird show by booking online!

The night safari ticket is well worth the 16 euros as you can visit the park as many times as you want

Zoom is a lovely Zoo and Water Park near Torino. It's a great place to see a variety of animals and enjoy a day at their artificial pools. It is highly recommended to plan things out. You can access the park from Torino via teain to Piscina (please note they are operating Bus Rail Replacement services). While Google Maps says it's a 19 minute walk from the Train Station. There are no sidewalks on part of the trip so it's best to reserve a shuttle which for €5 RT will take you to / from the park. This can be booked online and paid in cash to the driver. Book tickets in advance, you can reserve spots at the beach and have a pair of sun loungers and an umbrella for about €27. Ticket prices are reasonable but check online as discounts are available. The pool itself is extra so look for deals. Several food options and expect about €15-20 for lunch on the low-end. (The fried seafood platter was a miss). Lots of places to buy waters at €1.50 each, no real free water fountains like you find all over Italy. Animals seemed to be treated ok, it's a zoo and of course some people have strong opinions about that.

Awesome place! It’s easy to access when you buy the ticket online. Getting there can be a little tricky if you’re using the train, but it’s worth it. The animals are well-organized, placed together to create a good system, and navigating the zoo is easy if you follow the path. The staff are very helpful and all speak English. The seating areas between the animal enclosures, especially the one near the tiger exhibit, are great. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, totally worth it and affordable.

Fantastic place. Very nice and friendly staff! We stay 2 nights with my 2 daughter they loved it. Amazing place to have a fresh and lots of knowledge about animals. The zoo it’s adorable 🥰

Superb zoo! Extremely well organised and thought through. Animals looked well looked after and enclosures were built in a way to feel natural and were well maintained. Plenty of toilets and eat/drink options and lots of staff looking after every aspect. Two excellent play areas to occupy a 5 year old. Whole site is not huge and could go around it in half a day if you wanted but it's also ok to spread things out and take breaks. Plenty of extras with talks and shows if you can organise yourself to fit around the schedule. We stayed over night at the "Glamping" site which was also excellent. Very nice room and then that allows you to take breakfast in the terrace restaurant sitting in-between the lions on one side and giraffes and savanna animals on the other side which was a very cool experience. The only negative is that there was a disgusting and overpowering smell i think coming from the toilet/sewage system in the area of our accommodation which was strong enough to make me feel sick and detracted from the enjoyment of the evening as it was impossible to sit on the terrace of our room

I must have travelled the freeway below this massive fort controlling the narrow passage between the steep and dangerous mountain sides more than a hundred times over the past 30 years without reflecting on what you might find inside. This time I took a day trip from home in Switzerland with the aim to discover this surprisingly interesting place steeped in history lasting over 800 years. It's now owned and administered by the region of Aosta and houses 6 museums, a large museum shop, a cozy 11 room hotel and restaurant as well as a café. If you buy a simple entrance ticket you will access two exhibitions of your choice, if you want to see all six museums, the price is about double the ordinary entrance fee. There is ample parking around the castle, the near-most being paying. Access is either via an ingenious series of funiculars or by foot on a winding road. Avoid visiting on a busy day not to spend your time waiting to access the funicular system. I came on a Friday afternoon mid May 2025 and was surrounded by 15 year olds trying to learn Italian history, not the most serene situation. You do need a full day to fully appreciate the place so I will come back to spend a night here before touring the premises.

So much to see here! There are 5? main buildings, each housing different museums and (temporary, rotating) art exhibits. Costs €12 to visit 2 of any things of your choice or €24 to visit everything. But you can visit all the exterior fort for free! This is definitely worth it if you want a quick look and get a good view from the top of the Fort. If you want to visit the museums, you'll need a few hours to spare! Our 2 choices were both in the Carlo Alberto building (at the top). We did the Museum of the Alps which has SO MUCH to see, and quite the diversity of history and information. This took us 2 hours and we didnt look too closely at half of it. Could definitely take 2-4 hours depending on your interests. Absolutely 1 of the best ways to spend a solid chunk of your day here. 2nd, we did the prisons downstairs in the same building. This was cool but much quicker (like 30 mins). It was a toss up between the prison and the Ferdinando building at the bottom.. unsure what all that offers or the time it takes to visit. In total we spent about 3 hours here, and could have spent much longer if we got the full package. Lots of history here and offers a neat view of the valley. I would recommend it, but again, you'll need time if you want to visit any museums. I personally didnt care to visit any of the art exhibitions. From what I've gathered, they kind of have nothing to do with the Fort itself, so didnt seem worth any of my 2 choices.

Have you even been to Valle d’Aosta if you haven’t visited Forte di Bard? The structure is just impressive in its size and location! Inside is pretty bare, but the museums and exhibits are super interesting.

The castle is beautiful, no doubt there. However, we wanted to take a quick walk within the walls, and there is unfortunately no ticket allowing you to just stroll around. You have to purchase a ticket for 12e which allows you to enter 2 out of 6 available exhibitions/ “museums”. Maybe it would not be that frustrating if a couple in front of us wasnt allowed to enter for free by stating “we only came for a walk” in italian. We checked the japanese exhibition which was rather mediocre, not much to learn from it. We would appreciate some story behind and more descriptions behind the pictures. The other exhibitions was the prisons which was more interesting - you can see the real prison rooms and how the castle was evolving over time.

19th-century fortress, part of the fortifications of the Aosta Valley. The fortress is well maintained and houses a rich permanent exhibition (about forts and fortresses throughout history), as well as interesting temporary exhibitions. Entrance tickets: - €12 for visiting the fortress itself and two exhibitions - €24 for visiting five exhibitions Both tickets include access to the lifts. The ticket price is absolutely worth it.

Great big museum in the heart of Torino... Very close to the Porta Nuova station.... Entrance for one person is 18 euro, but it's worth every peny... I travel a lot and see so many museums but this is one of the best... This place is one three flors and basement... You have elevators between every floor... So so many unique sculptures and things, mummies, from little to some very big... Everything have good explanation on Italian and English... In basement at the and of tour you can see all history of museum from start.... People who work there is so kind and helpful and talkative... They also have toilet on every floor and at exit you can buy some souvenirs... All recommendations for visit and enjoy if you are in Torino

I visited this museum about 10 years ago and the experience back then felt on another level. The storytelling, especially in the Gods Library, and the way the rooms connected made the visit much more fluid and comfortable. This time, unfortunately, the huge number of visitors made it almost impossible to enjoy some sections. Even with pre-booked tickets, it was extremely crowded and in some areas difficult to walk or stop to see the exhibits properly. What I did appreciate, however, were the new virtual experiences in some rooms, which clearly and engagingly explained the historical context and processes.

I’m sure they’re trying hard to make this the standout Egyptian museum and have spent a lot of money on it. There are some fantastic things exhibited here but….its overcrowded and it’s strangely boring and repetitive. There are too many exhibits to take in. They should have cut back on the exhibits and instead told the history of Egypt far better. The museum is all over the place in terms of its narrative. It’s thematic but really needs to be chronological and help piece together what we’re viewing. It was a real shame because I just wanted to leave after half an hour of being bored and learning surprisingly little about an interesting subject.

A very cool experience in the middle of Turin. It is the second largest collection of Egypt antiquities outside of Cairo. We had a guided tour which I would highly recommend. A very cool experience!

Very comprehensive museum on Egypt. I think I managed to go through all of it. Felt like I got a complete rundown on the entire corpus of Egyptian history. The app guide is glitchy. I downloaded some modules but sometimes it reloads if you don’t keep the phone open, and then it says you’re offline and won’t load the module anymore. So maybe the old school audio guide you can get at reception is a better option. However, the displays do a good job anyway and you can still get enough of a gist of it just with the displays. To do the entire museum, reading everything and listening to the audio guides, would take the best part of a whole day. But there’s an in house cafe at a convenient midpoint.

Really amazing Egypt Museum! So many artifacts and displays! Lots of interactive opportunities to learn and grow your knowledge! Huge building filled to the brim! Absolutely amazing!

I didn't expect there to be so many things from Egypt. There is so much to see and learn about where things come from and their history. An amazing place. I fell in love with it. I would have liked to stay longer, but I chose the hour. But the important thing is that I managed to learn most of it.

Amazing museum filled with cinema history. We went during the James Cameron exhibition. The interactive parts were great and the props were very interesting to go through and learn about their movies. The only down side is that the dedication exhibition that changes could be smaller so that the main part had more cinema history related stuff. In addition to these the elevator is a must. The view of torino is amazing and one you don't want to miss. I also recommend getting tickets in advance since it can get crowded(having tickets for both the exhibition and the elevator can reduce the wait time drastically).

What an experience!! Even if you don’t like cinema, the way the Musuem is designed, it captures your attention. There is the technical historical part and there is the movies parts as well as the sets and pieces that you can see. Interactive and amazing experience. A must do in Turin

I think it's the tallest museum in the world... 167,5m...Around this building it's very crowded... So much people and markets with souvenirs... You can take nice pictures from the bottom or you can buy lift ticket and go up to see panorama of Torino... If you want you can go up by foot if you are in good condition... I recommend you to buy ticket for elevator and tour in advance... View from the top is amazing, all city and Alps... Inside you have to see nice museum... People who work there is so kind and helpful... All recommendations for visit and take some nice pictures and videos if you are in Torino...

The history part was interesting, and the layout inside was unique. The modern cinema section (the main part) now seems a bit anachronistic, as it focuses on a fairly narrow era of cinema. The part where cinema technology moves into gaming felt the most contemporary but it was not much. Note that when I bought the ticket online, there was only the option to buy a combined museum + panoramic lift ticket. Yet when I tried to get on the lift I was told my ticket was only for the museum. There wasn’t even a way to buy the tickets separately on the website so I’m not sure how I could have done it wrong. Anyway, I decided to skip the lift rather than buy another ticket. So I’m not sure if you should buy a ticket in advance, actually.

Like the view from the observation deck. Recommended during the sunset. Apparently you cannot visit without a ticket bought, and for this you may have issue in the website, so we just scan qr code near the entrance and book the time.

The iconic Mole dominates Turin's skyline. You car ride to the top for amazing views. Combine this with a ticket for the excellent Museum of Cinema (housed in the main building) for the best value.

Loved it. Great way to explore cinema and film making. My 7yo and 9yo had plenty to see and do here. As a cinephile I found it a brilliant collection that is well constructed and curated.

Be aware: Your ferry ticket will not cover the palace and gardens. These cost an additional 13€ per person. That said, the gardens make for a lovely walk, and the peacocks are a delightful addition. They're friendly enough to approach crowds (and we sat beside one as we enjoyed a drink at the cafe.) The path is often steep however, and contains a large number of stairs, which might cause difficulties for some visitors. Also, the palace is littered with crude waxworks dummies, which made it more like a House of Horrors than a museum.

This place is of timeless beauty, it is extraordinary and absolutely deserves to be visited. Pause to read next to each exhibited object, you will be captured by the details that at first sight the eye cannot focus. On the effigy of the Borromeo we read "humulitas", it certainly makes a little smile, in all my life I have never seen so much pomp. Very beautifull! Strongly recommended.

Palazzo Borromeo on Isola Madre, situated on Lake Maggiore, is a serene 16th-century residence reflecting the private life of the Borromeo family. Worth the visit! We visited Palazzo Boromeo on our half-day tour of the Borromean islands. We bought a ferry ticket dockside in Stresa for 2 islands (Isola Madre and Isola Pescatore). I really liked this palace for three reasons. 1) It felt lived in and loved by its inhabitants. There were tableaux with furnishings, paintings and statues of men and women dressed in typical aristocratic clothes of the day. It wasn't glamorous or gilded everywhere ~ that kind of opulence is what you'll find on Isola Bella, should you decide to go there. 2) There is an extensive puppet theatre exhibit in a wing of the palace. At least 6 rooms are devoted to the puppets, scenery and costumes from their theatrical productions. I felt this was truly unique and unexpected. 3) The magnificent Cypress from Kashmir. The tree was restored to standing after a struck down during a storm. Also, the botanical gardens are lovely, and the peacocks and pheasants who make their home on the grounds.

The garden of the Palace has his own history... but what we see today is a splendid botanical garden with countless varieties of plants, trees and shrubs.

The palace is magnificent and definitely worth a visit. But the real highlight is the gardens — they’re absolutely dreamy! Vast, stunning, immaculately maintained, and home to an impressive variety of plants and trees. It’s the kind of place where you want to stroll slowly and take in the beauty around you. Truly worth the visit!

The places does impress the wanderers due to its vastness and abundance of various exotic expostinions. There are many interesting acquariums including both commonly known sea critters as well as even more interesting unpopular ones. If it's not enough for you, don't worry! There are a handful of beautifully recreated biomes containing the richness of coral reefs, raw desert enviroments full with beautifull animals as well as huge pool with eager to play dolphins within.

I love visiting aquariums. My favorite places among the aquariums I've visited so far are L’Oceanogràfic Valencia, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Moskvarium. This aquarium Genoa is quite small but it's easy to visit location for tourists and jellyfish tanks were lovely. I visited there during the winter off-season and there was no line so I am not sure if it was necessary to buy the on-line entrance ticket in advance.

This city is unique, special, and legendary. Although there are a lot of immigrants who create problems of cleanliness and also other kind. This aquarium is very large and interesting. It took about 2 hours to fully explord it. There are many species of marine animals here. It is always interesting to look at them and at the same time read information about them. And a large hall with a huge panoramic glass wall, through which you can see dolphins swimming underwater, was the realization of a child's dream. Sitting there, listening to the soothing music and looking at this magnificence was incomparable. Many people believe that the price of entering an aquarium is high. Maybe that's true.

We LOVED IT, this aquarium is huge and has some sea life I haven’t seen in US. We love aquariums, you can’t go wrong. Our daughter loves the jellyfish and some cool snakes in there Husband said the manatees were amazing and large variety of sea life and frogs. When you start you are on the bottom level and you go through the whole bottom level… then you go upstairs and see everything upstairs but also have a view of sharks and other animals you saw downstairs and upstairs is best for pictures of the dolphins and sharks - for me. There is also an area you can touch some sea life.

Really enjoyed the aquarium! It is quite busy as one wood expect but it flows pretty well out and back. Lots of different species of marine life to see from all over the world. Buy tickets in advance to avoid lining up twice and beware all the people outside trying to sell/force stuff into your hands.

Great place to visit for all ages. It’s a beautiful aquarium that has everything you would expect. The heating is terrible and it is hot if you go in the summer. The animals are very active and seem to be taken care of well. If in the area, it is worth your time to visit.

Thoughtfully curated exhibits and environments such as Amazon, Lake Malawi, corals in addition to cetaceans, penguins, seals, sharks. Although the tanks and holding areas are quite large, it is sad to see the mammals and large fish confined. Dark tunnels add to the anticipation. Children will enjoy the touch tank area.
