(Translated by Google) This is certainly a masterpiece. A very beautiful monument to the Empress, next to the prince and atamans. The monument is very detailed. Expensively and richly decorated, both the empress and the gate, lantern, letter, etc. I have never seen such magnificence (after Mother Motherland, of course). In the hands of the empress is a scepter and an orb, and she is wearing the robe of a monarch. On the left stands Prince Potemkin-Tavrichesky, on the right there are three chieftains. The opening of the monument took place in 1907. In 1920 the monument was destroyed and restored in 2006. The restoration work lasted 4 years. The height of the monument is 13.81m. The figure of Catherine is 4 meters and weighs 3 tons. The sculptural composition required 25 tons of bronze, 12 tons of cast iron, 250 kg of aluminum and 80 g of gold leaf. In 1972, Catherine granted Kuban for eternal use, where the Cossacks moved and founded the city of Ekaterinodar (a gift from Catherine) and this was the case until 1920, until it was renamed Krasnodar. At the moment, everything in the city reminds us of Catherine II. Monuments, cathedrals, the letter “E” is found on benches, fences and urns.

Had a very good time. It's a great place for families with children. For anyone who is interested on the prices, the safari park costed 450 rubles per person. Honestly they didn't have a lot of animals but the whole experience was nice and fun

DISGUSTING!! Animal cruelty...this place is just sick. The orangatangs especially...locked into tiny tiny places that are so hot, glass is fogging. It smells...animals are left sitting in their own waste and it is clear to see how hungry so many of them are. Sick, disgusting hell hole. Shut this down!

Very good place for family and children to enjoy watching the different kinds of animals....the only disadvantage that the ticket price was about the double price of rostovsky zoopark although the last one is bigger and have more diverse kinds of animals.

Seven Winds

Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Nestled high above the stunning bay of Novorossiysk, Seven Winds is a breathtaking observation deck that has captivated both locals and visitors alike. Although access has become restricted since 2016, those who can make the trek through the mountains are rewarded with spectacular views that stretch across the horizon. Even on cloudy days, the scenery remains enchanting, with dramatic landscapes that evoke feelings reminiscent of Sophie from "Howl's Moving Castle.

(Translated by Google) Observation deck over Novorossiysk. Traditionally, it was the most popular for visiting by citizens and guests of the city. In 2016, I found it already banned for citizens. You can only walk through the mountains; the road is blocked by a post. The view is excellent, but photography is difficult due to the almost constant haze of vapor from the bay. There is no infrastructure. I recommend a visit to everyone who can physically climb hills several hundred meters high. You can visit with children.

Unfortunately, you can’t just get up to the site by car, entry is only with a pass. There are many bypass roads, but they are all dug up, only a fairly well-prepared jeep can drive there. Even in cloudy weather you can see a lot. Yesterday there were clouds, but with them it was even cooler, cooler, and the wind was strong. But the landscapes there are unforgettable. You feel like Sophie, the character from Howl's Moving Castle Photos don't convey all those feelings. And the camera itself is not very good for me. This place needs to be seen with your own eyes.

(Translated by Google) I have long dreamed of visiting this memorial Malaya Zemlya. I will say honestly, it is very cool, although I have not been there yet, but I plan to go there to leave a second review later. The anticipation of the trip already fills my heart with trepidation. I have read a lot about this place, seen photographs and documentaries, and every time I am amazed by the scale of heroism and courage shown by Soviet soldiers in the battles for Novorossiysk. Malaya Zemlya is a symbol of fortitude and unbending will to win. It seems incredible that fierce battles took place on a small piece of land for 225 days, but our soldiers stood firm, showing incredible selflessness. These events will forever remain in the memory of generations. I am especially impressed by the stories of ordinary soldiers, sailors and officers who, despite constant shelling and food shortages, continued to fight for every meter of their native land. I would like to pay tribute to their feat and honor the memory of the fallen. A visit to Malaya Zemlya is not just a tourist trip, it is an opportunity to touch history, feel the spirit of the times and understand at what price the victory was won. I am sure that this trip will leave an indelible mark on my soul and will allow me to look at many things in a new way. And, of course, after the visit, I will definitely share my impressions in a new review.

Fantastic waterfalls! Never thought that Adygea has such wonderful spots which reminded me Thailand so much!! Lush green rocks, gorgeous waterfalls and paths to them.. So far the best place I've seen in Adygea. Absolutely recommended.

Good place for a 3-hours walk and some sightseeing. You will have to climb some rocks a little, but nothing a pair with a 3-years old kid could not handle. It would just take some time but the sights are worth it. Adults can cross the river at the Heart waterfall and walk up to the village using the painted flags on the trees as a guide.

Amazing, incredibly beautiful place! Waterfalls are gorgeous, the trail is very scenic, and you can listen to the birds singing here even in February.

One of the best beaches on the russian coast of the Black Sea. Wild and 100% natural beach with small stones - rubber shoes or Crocs recommended. The only problem is no toilette there. Also due to the specific no car entry (20 - 30 min walk from parking) there is MUCH MUCH less people then on the city beaches!! Very romantic place!

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful rock and places nearby. They are part of a state-protected natural area where flora and fauna listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation can be found. Yellow herons fish on the coastal rocks, there are many beautiful fish and crabs, lizards and snakes everywhere. The water is crystal clear. Picnics with fires are not recommended here. There are two descents to the rock - one is gentle, the second is steeper (you can go down holding on to the rope). It is easy to get there both on foot and by car. Entrance is free) TAKE CARE OF NATURE! 💚🌿

(Translated by Google) I really enjoyed the walk. I walked from Tuapse (starting from the “wild” beach along the path). The rocks are majestic. Everything is trampled by tourists, and from above there is a stunning view of the sea. I was lucky that there weren't very many people. I can’t imagine what’s going on there in the middle of summer.

(Translated by Google) In my opinion, the most beautiful place in the Tuapse region. And the most recognizable thanks to the film “The Diamond Arm” (fishing on the White Rock). Natural monument. We usually leave the car near the road, although you can drive to the tourist parking lot, but the road there is not very good. In summer they charge an entry fee. The walk to the parking lot is about five to ten minutes, so it’s a pleasure to walk and get some air. Then you can climb to the very top of the cliff, from there there are beautiful views. Returning to the tourist parking lot, you can go downhill both to the left and to the right (towards the mouse holes). The descent is difficult, but in summer we go down normally in flip-flops (a matter of habit). The beach, to be honest, is not very good. Large pebbles, inconvenient entry into the sea, algae. But it is interesting to snorkel. The rock, unfortunately, is slowly being destroyed. The place itself is cool, but due to the large number of people visiting it, who are not always conscious, there is a lot of garbage.

(Translated by Google) A very beautiful and picturesque place. A scene from the famous film “The Diamond Arm” was filmed here, and it was from this place that the painting “Kadosh Rocks” by artist A.A. Kiselev was painted. Getting here on foot is not easy, I’ll say this right away (by the way, a boat with boat trips from Tuapse regularly sails here). But I really love extreme sports, so I chose this path. We took minibus 18, which runs from Tuapse approximately once every 1-2 hours. Upon arrival, we passed an apiary where you can buy honey, then a long walk awaits you down through the mountain forest, around pine trees, a lot of blackberries, the smell is cool. At the end of the road there will be a huge surprise - a descent to a cliff. This is something... 🤣😛pieces of rock sticking out of the ground, tree roots, very steep cliffs, mountain springs💦, you will like it 😁... In addition to this attraction there will also be a wooden shaky staircase that is threatening to break if a lot of people will be attracted to her at once. But at the end of this walk you will be greeted by a very beautiful and large beach with pebbles, crystal clear water with fish, a view of the most beautiful rock, here you can even buy something to eat and change clothes, the only thing I would add is a toilet.

I held his hand the whole time. Rocks are like steps, lots of roots that are convenient to hold on to when going down. In general, people go there without a break. In general, it is quite passable. There is even a SUP rental on the beach near the rock. There are many cars with tents on the cape. We went there by taxi from Nebug. From the place where a taxi can get to the descent to the rock, there is about a kilometer of walking along a wide forest road. The same taxi driver came back for us when we called. Beautiful nature, the place where the fishing scene in the well-known film was filmed. When you get tired of lying on the beach, it's time to go to Kiseleva Rock. Mamedovo Ushchel'ye

Hiking area
Nature & Parks
Mamedovo Ushchel'ye is a picturesque natural spot that offers a 950-meter route with equipped paths, signs, and trash cans. The entry fee is 200 rubles per person. The uphill road features benches for resting and leads to four stunning waterfalls and a rocky canyon. It's an ideal place for those who enjoy walking through beautiful natural settings. Visitors can return from the canyon along the riverbed if they have suitable footwear.
(Translated by Google) The waterfalls are certainly not big, after the rains there is probably more water, but that was enough for us. Still, I really liked the route, it’s incredibly beautiful all around!!! The air is clean!!! Intricate paths, bridges, Red Book plants, full of signs with arrows. Benches for rest, trash cans. It was interesting and fun, we had a lot of fun especially when we learned that at the end of the route we would have to walk along the river for half a kilometer, we splashed right on the water, on icy mountain water, on slippery stones, the flow of water and all the delights that no one warns about, ,, or, of course, you could walk on dry land back up the mountain the entire route 🤦‍♀️. But at the end of the road there is chic Caucasian cuisine on the river bank. Very tasty dishes. The atmosphere is pleasant, there are separate gazebos for each group, since we were with a small dog, we were seated in the outermost gazebo not far from the river, the view is beautiful. The trout swims in the pool, you catch it, and they cook it. The friendly waiter quickly took the order. I had such a walk along the river and mountains in the fresh air, I thought I would eat the entire menu, but the “democratic” prices quickly brought me down to earth, I limited myself to dumplings and hominy 😂 We arrived by car, parking is free (well, at least no one told us anything). In general, we were pleased with the walk, well, what else was there to do while the sea was stormy, but you need to occupy yourself with something pleasant and useful))) (Original)

(Translated by Google) The park consists of two parts. The entrance ticket costs 200 rubles for each part separately. In the lower part there is only one waterfall, in the upper part there are 3. A waterfall of love, health and happiness. Plus there is a beautiful gorge and a walk along the river. We visited only the upper part, since the route is not small, and the most interesting is here. Roads in dangerous areas have fences and handrails in places. The road to the waterfalls is not difficult and has steps. And when descending into the gorge, the most interesting thing is that we mixed up how the route was supposed to go, and the rest of the way to the end of the park we walked along a mountain river, on water, and at the very end we realized that we had gone something wrong. But this is where the most beautiful places were. The rocks created arches, beautiful views, a special thrill to overcome the path without equipped paths. The water in the river was cold, but by the end of the journey it seems warm. A lot of emotions and delight. Near the gorge there is a cafe, a toilet, and a parking lot. It is better to leave the car at the top, by the road, since the bridge is in emergency condition right at the entrance, it is better not to risk it. The walk is best done in good weather, as the mountains. The stones are slippery. I recommend visiting in aqua shoes, so as not to be afraid of walking along the river, you will get more emotions.

(Translated by Google) This is a place that you will remember for a long time, but only if you close the circle by walking along the gorge to the waterfalls, or vice versa from the waterfalls through the gorge (canyon). If you are not ready to get your feet wet, then follow the sign for the waterfalls, but then you will deprive yourself of a whole adventure. You have to walk along the gorge along the bottom of the river and in some places you won’t be able to walk through without getting your feet wet. Therefore, I recommend taking comfortable shoes that you don’t mind getting wet, you can take with you so-called “coral shoes” or boots, but they are unlikely to help in one place, it’s knee-deep, and in the rest it’s shallow, unless of course it was raining. Be sure to go through and nature will reward you with gorgeous views of the gorge and the “Love” waterfall, which can only be seen from below from the gorge. The other three waterfalls are no less beautiful and easily accessible.

The Rosa Valley, where the resort is situated, features well-equipped river embankments lined with vibrant buildings housing shops, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment options such as a casino, ice rink, go-karts, and playgrounds.
Best ski resort in Sochi for beginners and families. Had a great time here. Nice, wide slopes with beautiful views. Not too crowded because the slopes disperse away from the main area rather than to it. Great vibe with nice music and large, inviting central rental/information area. Helpful and friendly staff. Lots of places to sit and nice variety of cafes and restaurants.

Very nice for beginners! Slopes are quite wide and not too flat to get bored, the view is beautiful. However, if you are advanced, it will definitely feel too easy here. I personally just loved the night-skiing - you can ski until 11pm! Slopes are nicely lightened and everything looks so atmospheric 💫 Organization is still to be somewhat improved - queues in front of the lifts are usual thing and can take quite long!

Super complex. We went ice-skating (great) in Galactica followed by swimming in the Aquapark (the outdoor pool in the snow is something else). We then finished the day with night skiing under lights. Nice, easy and wide slopes, (D1 was a nice blue for novices) plus some more challenging pistes for the more advanced. Thank you, we had a great time!

Just horrible to say the least. The lowest lever of service remained the same from "soviet era", you are supposed to be guilty for clumsy skiing maneuvres however there is NO snow coverage in Gazprom ski resort. Rude comments from the staff, some disrepectful remarks - those are the memories I'm gonna bring from this trip. Rip-off in terms of prices: 2000 RUB -ski pass for 1 day, 500 RUB parking fee ( for 1 hour), 200 RUB 1 hour for the storage of the staff in a locker, very high prices in restorants, 9000 RUB for 2 adults - 2 hour training with an instructor. That's not even worth it, there is no snow by 5th of January

If you are lucky to go there on a sunny day in January, it will give a vibe of Himalayan. The temperature is comparatively low in altitude. So dress up yourself properly. The cable car experience is excellent. To do ski you have to reach there before 10:00am.

Very cool ski resort, well organized with day and night ski!!!! Sleds open almost 24 7. The only downside is that the nightlife is very limited, to say the truth had no power to get out after full day of ski.

Great place. A must visit if you are touring Russia. We were here in April. But March is better if you want to ski.
Ayesha M — Google review
Generally feels like they could have done better with the resort... Some runs are fantastic, not too long but fun. Most of the other slopes are long and narrow, which is less fun. Lifts are OK but the Russians should learn more about queue management. We had two times where we waited 20-25 minutes, other waits were long too. If the site is crowded then you feel it well on the slopes. The good :excellent site for beginners, the area between slopes is very nice for the powder seekers. Bottom line - not the same as the alps but a nice alternative nevertheless.

this is a very beautiful and very welcoming place. in short this is the best ski town that i ever been in. Also there is a lot of different restaurants like italian, asian or just a steakhouse and so... the only minor problem was the lack of the english language, most of the russian there doesn't talk english

I've got there just after the show started however the prices are acceptable if you haven't seen dolphin before, they have many different prices for different type of tickets. the most expensive one was around 100£ where you were swimming with the dolphins and having photos too. It's a very children friendly place so definitely good day out if you have children and it's not far at all from the port

While some visitors find the experience ambivalent, others appreciate the ease of getting tickets and helpful customer service. The ride provides a scenic journey to the top of the park, where additional fees apply for walking back down.
My experience was just fine. It was easy to get a ticket (300p) and they helped explain I was only buying a one-way ticket to the top of the park. I appreciate those who will repeat themselves slowly in Russian so I have better chance catching a couple words. Good customer service! Once I made it to the top I found out I had to pay to walk back down (250p). No big deal on the price. It was well worth it.

(Translated by Google) Arriving in Sochi, we decided to visit this place, based on reviews I read that it was better to go up the cable car, and then calmly go down and inspect everything. We found the cable car is not immediately located at the intersection behind the kiosks. We arrived early and had to wait, then, having bought tickets, we stomped upstairs and waited for our turn. Everything in the booth creaks terribly, there are many people and the height. During the climb it becomes stuffy, the cost is not cheap, one thing pleases is the gorgeous view from above.
Katy V — Google review
(Translated by Google) In theory, both the park and the cable car there are absolutely wonderful. They are no less beautiful in architecture, engineering and landscape design... Any engineer or architect can envy the author of the cable car stations with a pure soul. But all this was done quite a long time ago. And now both the ski lift and the park leave an ambivalent impression. When compared with others, the existing cable car differs favorably in that it continues to operate. But if the technical condition (at first glance, at least) is rather pleasing, then, for example, for years, it seems that unwashed glass in the cabins cannot please. The very meaning is lost - an overview of the city and the park from magnificent angles. At the top station, not all (paid, by the way) observation devices are working. Well, it would be nice if the information about the lift’s operating hours in Yandex was correct for these particular seasons and days. The park itself does not leave the feeling of being completely well-groomed. Some trees need treatment or pruning, some already require immediate replacement, otherwise only signs indicating the species will remain. With small vegetation the picture is approximately the same. But what opportunities there are in combining such a landscape with a subtropical climate! Plus there is a long history of cultivating exotic varieties in this place. And so it seems that the entertainment function of the park has finally won over the educational function. And the ridiculous retro-style stalls at the most overlooking points generally destroy the harmony intended by the creators. And the condition of many paths is far from not only ideal, but even from the norm. And if this is not important for a healthy adult or teenager, then for old people and parents with children, part of the park is not very accessible. And this is for quite decent money. The small cafe and the adjacent toilet pavilion do not fit into the canon of all styles at once. I didn’t have time to get acquainted with the kitchen; prices are average. Eh, with such a view and location, both I and another architect would work... One can only hope that someday the master’s hands will get around to all this, in a good way.

Very nice stadium. The Football World Cup games are played here. Watching football match on TV (Spain Vs Portugal). Ground looks so go and spacious. What I read on their website is that It has approx 45,000 capacity. Also, read somewhere in some websites- First Olympic Stadium, Sochi’s biggest new sporting venue designed by sports architecture firm Populous. The building, named after a nearby mountain, features a latticed facade design based on faberge eggs and has a retractable roof. Yesterday quarter final match between Russia and Croatia was played and Croatia won by 4-3 after the match went to penalty shoot out.

The Palace of the Prince of Oldenburg is a captivating landmark nestled in the picturesque city of Gagra, just 30 kilometers from the Russian border. This stunning castle, perched on a mountain, offers breathtaking views of both the city and the shimmering sea from its many windows. As one of Abkhazia's most iconic attractions, it draws visitors arriving from Sochi who can't help but admire its grandeur as they pass by.
IM SHOCKED here's the thing. the prince and i go way back. we had a fling back in 2007. he asked me to homecoming, i wore this glamorous gold dress, he wore rip-off nikes, good times. now, i'd been in his house and room a few times (all pure reasons), and he was clearly a messy kid. everything all over. i don't think the word "clean laundry" has yet entered his vocabulary. but when i took a trip to swing by his old home and flirt a bit, I WAS SHOCKED. how could it have gotten so out of hand? the windows are a disgrace of slanted, dusty workmanship, the den is a crumbling disaster, don't even get me started on the linen closet. completely disgusting. i didn't see him anywhere, does anybody know where he went? probably on his yacht somewhere in the pacific. well if he ever reads this, IM NOT IMPRESSED. slobs.

Amazing building, I could easily give it 5 stars. It is a pity that this attraction just like most of Abkhazia is destroyed. Nevertheless someone has decided to close all entrances to the building but one, where he charges 150 rubles per visitor. (Translated by Google) Naturally, I give two stars not to the palace itself, but to the condition it is in. It is a pity that such a beautiful palace, which has probably seen other times and was built by one of the relatives of the royal dynasty, is now in such a deplorable state. In a few more years it will be very difficult to restore it at all. It is obvious that someone is trying to do it now, but apparently this is some kind of private capital because the palace is closed for repairs and someone is living there now and repairing it in small parts. But from the outside it looks like a haunted house (Original)

Dombay is a wonderful destination for a family vacation. My son and I had a great time enjoying the picturesque mountain landscapes and various activities. We especially loved the cable car rides and sledding. Additionally, we took numerous photos with animals, which was a delightful addition to our trip. The fresh mountain air, combined with breathtaking views, made our experience even more enjoyable. For families with children, Dombay offers many interesting spots. We recommend visiting the Teberda Nature Reserve, where you can see a variety of animals and birds. It’s also worth visiting the Alibek Waterfall — the path to it is easy and suitable for children. In the village, there are several playgrounds and entertainment centers where your kids can have fun. Horseback riding is another great activity that allows you to explore the beautiful surroundings. You can also try snow tubing, which is an exciting and safe option for all ages. The locals are very hospitable and always ready to help. Cafes and restaurants offer delicious Caucasian cuisine that will appeal to both adults and children. We particularly enjoyed the freshly baked khachapuri, grilled meat, and aromatic herbal tea. The atmosphere in Dombay is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. If you’re planning a trip to this region, be sure to visit Dombay. This place will leave unforgettable impressions for the whole family. Whether you love adventure, nature, or simply want to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, Dombay has something special for everyone.

The slopes are great for intermediate skiers, and the surrounding nature is simply magical - perfect for both skiing and scenic walks. The infrastructure isn’t as modern as in Europe, but that’s part of its charm. Lifts can be a bit outdated and queues are common during peak season, but the incredible beauty of the place more than makes up for it.

It's really good place

January 2021. Not a lot of snow to ski, but this is not due to the service. The old lift is simply awful, slow and non convenient, and mostly, dangerous. The new one is ok, but definitely over crowded. To rent the skies is not hard, full of small places, missing an organized big one. 3 stars are only for the mountains, which are very beautiful. The rest, I suggest: with the same money, you can fly to Italy or France or Austria.

One of my favourite place in Russia I visited is Dombay. Very attractive nature. I visited in Summer, it was so nice. I enjoyed rain, snowfall and sunlight at the same day. It was really amazing experience I had about Russian nature.

(Translated by Google) The cape is beautiful, the air is of course amazing. But Pitsunda didn’t suit us; housing is far from the sea. The beaches are wide, there is a small water park on the embankment; children under 12 years old - 1,000 adults - 1. 500 rubles. They built a Ferris wheel, but it was not working yet 06/30/23. There are trampolines. Lots of cafes and shops.

(Translated by Google) Cape Pitsunda is not inspiring... The poor appearance of the boarding houses.... The beach is not well-groomed despite the number of residents and the creation of favorable conditions for them and for other guests. There is a place to change clothes, but it’s on the main promenade street, there’s a shower right there... People walk, and you wash, change clothes...

Partially occupies a swampy lowland. The height above sea level is 1.5-3 m. It borders Pitsunda Bay on the east. On the territory of the cape grow Pitsunda pine, oak, ash, linden, boxwood, and tangerine. On the seashore seven 14-story buildings of boarding houses built in 1967: “Mayak”, “Amzara”, “Amra”, “Kolkhida”, “Golden Fleece”, “Bzyb”, “Apsny”. Part of the cape's territory has been declared a protected area. (Translated by Google) Awesome Soviet place. The union has been gone for almost 30 years, but the action and people continue to live and exist. We miss the union - go to Pitsunda (Original)

There are benches and a canteen at Pitsunda. A few tens of meters away is a summer outdoor cinema. (Original)
