Wonderful cable car ride from Rudesheim, views of vineyards and surrounding countryside, very peaceful but a bit chilly in the wind. A short walk to the monument, bit of a hill, but worth it. Amazing views of the Rhine and all around, the monument is massive, really impressive and the history (to read on placards) is very interesting. Nice little outdoor takeaway for drinks and snacks, note.. you pay a deposit for proper cups. Restaurant as well but didn't use it. A place well worth seeing!!

We had a good tour up here, we got the ring tickets which included cable car through the vineyard , chairlift and boat back. The view at the monument is beautiful totally worth it and the hike through the forest to the chairlift is good too.

Impressive monument, fun to ride the gondola up there. There is a little restaurant up there. Impressive views! It's worth going up to see. If the weather is good, it is a nice day. We had poor weather so we didn't stay long. You can ride the gondola down (keep your ticket) or walk down through the vineyards.

Lovely views up here, was on a Rhine tour up through here on the way back to Frankfurt. Amazing views on a blue sky day. One of the best views to end a day

We visited on a weekend in summer holidays. Took Cable Car to top of the hill. Waiting was around 45 mins. There is also a hiking path. You can either buy cable cat tickets one way or for round trip. Hike trial takes around 90 mins One can also directly visit the spot by car. To enjoy the view cable car is more recommended.

A private museum with great and unique collection of mechanical musical Instruments. A what is great that is not just exhibition, you receive a 45 minute guided tour, where you you get to know and to hear different instruments. Guides know at least 4 different languages, what is very rare also. The museum was worth every cent I paid. Just be ready that tours start every hour, so you might need to wait a bit.

Best museum I have been to in a long time. I wanted to see all of them play but understandably from a time perspective that just isnt possible. It truly is sad that we have lost so much of that beautiful craftmanship. The building itself is beautiful. The tour guides were very friendly. All in all I would honestly love to return if I am ever in the area again.

I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. The guide was informative and fun and the history of these incredible contraptions was fascinating. The tour was fast paced and well done.

A small but fascinating museum. I did the guided tour as a group. A vast array of mechanical musical instruments which show how ingenious humans can be when we out out minds to something positive.

A friend of mine recommended Siegfried's Mechanical Music Cabinet Museum, even though they visited almost 20 years ago. I'm so glad I took their advice! The tour guide was absolutely superb—not only were they genuinely funny, expertly switching between German and English, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable and even good on the piano! Their passion for the collection really made the experience. It's a very niche experience, but I'm still scratching my head wondering how all those instruments play themselves with such precision. For the price, it's great value for money and well worth the experience. I highly recommend it!

What a brfilliant museum. We hjad a tour to ourselves and the museum staff allowed us to store our cases in a locked room. We had a good tour around of a number of different rooms containg lots of instruments and ouir guide gave us information about certain machines and demonstrated them. All of them were interesting and fascinating. It was so good to see so many working machines, some huge, some tiny and all producing wonerful music.There are also some very old wall and ceiling paintings in some of the rooms. Even though the tour is only 45 minutes it was good value for money

Wow! The museum not only has a vast selection of player pianos, but player orchestras, too. And much, much more. I learned a lot during our tour. The building itself is a former grand home and is beautiful in its own right. Definitely worth a visit.

The list was good, in the fact that it got you up to a view point with amazing views. But don't bother going to the fort. The exhibits are all in german, you can get a downloaded audio guide to your phone bug you need to remember you ear phones if you want to use inside. Outside you can use it around the fort but it is short. I also struggled to understand why a historical building included a casino, numerous pubs and a youth hostel, was just the most bizarre historical monument site I have been too.

Have visited Koblenz several times but first time to experience the cable car. Had limited time, sadly insufficient to take the castle tour but great views of the city and the confluece of its two impressive rivers. With atypical Germanic efficiency, access & egress to/from the cable car stations is easy & safe for all ages & abilities. Good value for money, would hope to return one day & to do it justice!

This was great fun! Glide over the vineyards in a 2 person gondola. You get nice views of the town, vineyard, and the river. Very relaxing. When at the top of the mountain, there is a huge memorial statue, and sweeping views of the area. There is also a small café where you can get a snack or very light lunch and enjoy the outdoors. We did see people walking down, through the vineyards. If you have time, it looked like fun.

What a fab few hours. Obviously if your afraid of heights you might want to go, but it's very safe and worth going. The monument at the top is massive and breath taking. Worth the trip on its own. You can bike or walk up there, but I personally wouldn't recommend it. It's over 200meter up there.

Ride a cable car, a ski lift and a boat ride too in a beautiful part of the wine growing region in Germany. What wonderful views!

Awesome way to see the vineyards behind rudesheim, and get some great pictures of the rhine and multiple small towns on either side of the rhine.

Top of the mountain is a very nice place for a picnic. The ride was pleasant! Try to get an outside standing spot because the cart is hot inside. Overall a very nice experience.

Great little open air trip up to the top of Wiesbaden, Germany!!! About 8 minutes to get to the top, and the same coming back down the trolley. The sights and adventures at the top is well worth the trip for sure!!!💯🙏😍🙏💯

Cute place to visit. The ride was short and bring you up high to the hill where you can find an beautiful green picnic place and enjoy the view of Wiesbaden from top.

It was a nice scenic quick trip up the hill. Next time we will ride up and walk the trail through the forest back down. I enjoyed the tiny museum as well.

The Nerobergbahn in Wiesbaden is an excellent choice for a unique and memorable experience. Great value for money: The ticket price is incredibly reasonable for the enjoyment it provides. Unique and historic: As a water-powered funicular, it's a fascinating and rare piece of engineering that adds a special charm to the ride. Stunning views: The panoramic vistas of Wiesbaden and the surrounding area from the top of Neroberg are absolutely beautiful and well worth the trip. This charming railway is a must-do for anyone visiting Wiesbaden.

Historical Tram which operates with waterpower and gravityforce. There are Limited places to stay at the front and enjoy the View while riding uphill.

Very moving. The Chagall windows are just breathtaking. Visit in the early afternoon to see the church glowing in the most Devine stunning blue.

Hidden gem of Mainz! I have been outside in the church cloistered courtyard, which is relatively small but very beautiful and picturesque, many times, however this was my first time inside the church and I was really impressed. I had no idea there was such a beautiful church in Mainz! This place is known for its unique stained-glass windows in luminous blue that were created by Marc Chagall. The light coming through the windows was absolutely stunning and created an almost unreal ambience, I felt like being under water. I have never seen such beautiful lighting in any church I have visited (visited mid-day with clear skies, so nothing was blocking the sun beams to enter the church). I also enjoyed the beautiful modern Organs near the chancel with the altar. There is a little gift shop inside, where you can buy souvenirs like postcards, books and magnets mainly with the blue window theme. Church is wheel-chair accessible and there is no entrance fee. Totally recommend to visit this church as pictures don't really do justice, you must see it with your own eyes to have the full experience. Visited in May 2022.

Beautiful church has many Marc Chagall stain glass. On the negative side, watch you step a member of our party missed the small steps and was carted off to the hospital. Church staff could of cared less. We had to get her there on our own.

A place where you can feel your connection with the vast and be alone with your faith. Marc Chagall's stained glass windows are incredibly beautiful, you stop thinking and only the soul remains.

Beautifully curated museum with several original printed books, specially 3 bibles. A very good printed demonstration, from the making of the letters to the final printed page, both in English and German with a replica of the printing machine. Negative: A very unhelpful large and seated guardian next to the interactive picture box, most interested in moving people along than in helping with the experience.

You are given a card that lets you activate some of the exhibits, and at the end you can print your photo in the style of block printing onto the card. There is a demonstration of printing and the presenter gave interesting facts and was very knowledgeable.

Awesome experience of the Gutenberg museum and in excellent opportunity to see one of the Gutenberg Bibles. Actually four of them. It's absolutely amazing that these were the first books printed by the Gutenberg press. A worthwhile experience to visit this historic place. Highly recommend visiting the Gutenberg museum and seeing the original Gutenberg Bible. They are absolutely priceless books as every single one of the 47 of them are different because they were sold as separate pages and made into books by the buyers after they purchase them which we understand is the price of a home to purchase the pages back when they were newly off the press

It's a small museum but very well done. When I visited in Nov 2025 they had the word "Moved" in the name to emphasize that it's final location is under renovation and it is just temporarily adjacent to the natural history museum. Indeed I almost wandered into the natural history museum trying to find it. The first room had a 3D table of Mainz and narrated a story of his life (both in English and German). Indeed in spite of what some past reviews said, the museum seems to have stepped up their game and most descriptions were in both German and English. The main attraction, the two original Bibles we're well displayed and surprisingly uncrowded. I was able to go back two and study them.

1.5 hours was NOT enough. Didn't get to the demonstrations upstairs. (I visited the "Moved!" version in June 2025.) Anyone in graphic design, journalism or communications will appreciate the overarching themes and attention to detail. The Bibles themselves, and the additional works displayed alongside them, were presented very well and in an interesting manner.

The Gutenberg Museum is a fascinating and well-worthwhile visit. While I was a bit confused by the natural history aspect, I soon discovered that the main exhibition is temporarily located inside the Natural History Museum—a detail that, once understood, didn't detract from the experience at all. My primary interest was learning more about Johannes Gutenberg, and the museum did an excellent job of that. The exhibits are fantastic, especially the chance to see some of the first printed bibles up close. I also appreciated the use of modern technology to make the history more relatable, particularly the fun machine that lets you create a selfie with a printed page. My only regret is that I didn't get to see a demonstration of the printing press in action. Overall, it's a great experience and excellent value for money.

Valuable experience! The museum is really interesting: it’s a collection of ancient manuscripts, the first original examples of a few books (including the famous Bible 42), interactive news / videos and a display of objects related to the printing machine. You can even see how the printing process was developed in a practical “workshop”. Only one suggestion: if possible add English subtitles to the short films and try to make the demonstration of the printing press also in English (at least once).

A stunning landmark right at the heart of Mainz! The cathedral is massive and full of history, with its beautiful Romanesque architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time, with impressive stonework, chapels, and artworks to admire. The surrounding Domplatz adds to the charm, with plenty of cafés and shops around. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Mainz!

Impressive structure! Lots of history in the area yet, unlike other similar cathedral areas in other towns, this one feels lively amd young.. Definitely a different and welcome vibe!

The Mainz Cathedral is absolutely mesmerizing! The moment you step inside, you’re transported to another time. The massive pillars, soaring ceilings, and the way light filters through the stained glass—it’s like walking into a movie scene. Every corner tells a story. Peaceful yet majestic, this place leaves you in awe. If you visit Mainz and miss this cathedral, you’re truly missing out! ⛪✨

Beautiful cathedral. Lovely garden area as you come in. I was in a bit of a hurry so I was not able to figure out how to climb the tower but I hope I can come back sometime and try. Crypt was neat to see. Fun murals of gospel scenes above the clerestory level along the nave. Some interesting sid chapels to include one of the more vibrant colored crucifixion paintings I've seen in a cathedral.

I really like the cathedral — it’s even more beautiful than the one in Speyer. I adore the red stones and the many towers. It’s so happily situated within the rest of the city. I felt very happy in these surroundings.

Much larger than I thought. They have a “biggest bible” page there which isn’t that aesthetic but the rest of the cathedral is impressive. Definitely worth a stop.

The cathedral is beautiful. I came here on a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait at all and there was minimal people inside. Be careful if there is a service happening and be respectful of the space if so. There is a museum but I didn't go inside there. The architecture in the cathedral is worth the visit to come see. Be aware that as of may 2025 there is major construction happening on the outside of the cathedral so it is covered in scaffolding. Its free to enter the church but donations are welcome. Be prepared to translate most of the signage if you do not speak German. There is a wheelchair ramp going into the main section of the cathedral and the main cathedral floor is flat but all of the side rooms and passageways have steps and are not handicap accessible.

Somewhat mysterious place. Guarded and protected against morons. Think have something on your head. Oldest gravestone is on the end of this cemetery. Is from year 1100. Description is in German language so does in English. Rather without a backpack.

At just under an area covering nearly four acres this is purportedly the oldest Jewish Cemetery in Europe and holds UNESCO World Heritage Status. In a nature setting abundant with trees and lush long grass, many graves with Hebrew epitaphed lichen encrusted headstones blend alongside more recent elaborate similarly time worn obelisks. The cemetery suffered vandal damage during the pogroms of 1615 and 1618. Although not in use since 1911 a final interment took place in 1940, ironically during the Nazi Holocaust. This is a site conducive to deep spiritual reflection in recognition of the Jewish presence in Worms since the 10th century. Whilst visiting, gentlemen are required to wear a head covering in accordance with Jewish tradition.

The cemetery is very sombre and well maintained. The old gravestones are especially fascinating and make for great pictures. When you visit Be respectful All men are expected to cover their heads.

Walk into the gate (as pictured) either take the path immediately on the left for about 4/5 min (over grass a bit right before the chelkas harabonim) and then little hill downwards into chelka. Or u can continue straight down the main path till steps on the left (pics inclu) continue that path for about 3 mins till u see path going down into small hill (ditch) on the left (next the big wall of cemetery).

A historically and emotionally important place

Lovely 12th-century catholic Church, built in Romanesque style. Inside, one can see Gothic reliefs from the abandoned cloisters, gravestones and grave plates of bishops.

Dom St Peter is a beautiful cathedral in Worms. The exterior is very impressive and there are many stunning stained glass windows to view as you explore the inside of the cathedral

It’s an impressive cathedral that is the major sight of this town. It’s free to enter, so take your chance to go inside and walk around. Part of it is under reconstruction now.

Huge internal space like hangars for Zeppelins. View inside with shadows and sunbeams looks like from Angels and Desmond , da Vinci code or Diablo game. Large and Colourful window racks make it even more hypnotic. Description in German and English language. Is bit visible how was it he cathedral constructed, modified during centuries, Something looks older, something new. But look’s better than in Regensburg or Heidelberg. Parking for cars and bikes is outside, you can have probably some paid guide, old Jews cemetery near.

I was so excited to explore and just be I. The same city as this church. The architecture and history here is just stunning. Every area is very detailed and since being built around 1120 it has been maintained and kept in impeccable shape. I would suggest seeing this church. And don’t forget to check out the street filled with monuments and statues of some of the most important figures of the cathedrals/cities history.

This castle was decent to travel to and check out. It was only 50 minutes away and was worth the short drive. The views were pretty cool and the sound of nature around the castle was nice. The castle is free so no need to purchase anything. Just stop by and give it a look

This was around March 2025 and they had a lot of construction going on. You have the option to either hike all the way to the top (not sure how long it is) or you can do as I did - drive up there. That saved the energy to walk around and explore the grounds. Beautiful view - absolutely stunning! If you are in Darmstadt, you have to pay a visit.

Pretty neat little castle ruins. Free parking within a 5 min walk, free admission. Has snack stand, bathrooms, and you can explore almost the whole thing. But to be honest, its pretty small, so you only need to plan for maybe an hour total. But was cool to see. The best part was, not crowded. There were only a small amount of people there, and we went on a Saturday.

Ideal spot to look beyond the years... you can look over a large area from here and all the domain Frankenstein castle offered. There are beautiful trails around the area to hike as well. Also, there is a nice café you can enjoy after a long day.

I visited this castle on sunday. Almost empty with astonishing views and sunny skies. The castle opens at 7.30 in the morning. Highly recommend for a short hike from Malchen, Seeheim-Jungenheim.

Very charming castle ruin. Currently under renovation, but still fun to see. You can climb stairs to the tower and wall. Partially wheelchair accessible with assistance.

Cool place to visit. No admittance fee, no tickets needed. Renovations are being done to the outer wall but can still walk about the grounds and the tower. Beautiful shade tree.

Lovely place if you want to spend an active day with family and friends. The rocks are big and the entire climb can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your fitness level. But it's an amazing experience. Visit it preferably during spring. There is plenty of parking space (5 Euros per day). Make sure you carry coins. The rest of it is free. There are washrooms right at the entrance and there is a small kiosk at the top, where you can buy refreshments (they accept only cash or PayPal). You can either return the same way, or taking the longer but easier hiking path back to the parking.

Great hiking area for young children and elderly. If you want to skipping racing up the eroded boulders, you can also use the switchbacks to the side of the rock area.

It's a surreal park that's fun to visit, hike, and explore. You'll find a large hill filled with broken up rock columns. The history dates back to this location being used to fabricate columns used in Roman architecture. It's not for the faint of heart as it can be a technical climb. It's a nice to visit on a warm day.

Nice place for a day trip with kids or just the whole family in general. Make sure to wear proper shoes if you want to climb the rocks. There’s a small restaurant before you go up the mountain but you have to pay to use the restroom (even when you purchase something). You also have to pay 1€ for a parking ticket 5€ for the entire day. Other than that Felsenmeer is free. There are no restrooms once you go up. But there is one more small kiosk to buy refreshments.

Enjoyed exploring this for what it was. A huge stone quarry used as far back as the ancient Romans. It's quite a hike if you park at the bottom and walk up to the top.

A really peaceful and a scenic place for a weekend get away. It’s a very good place for a small hike with family and friends. Kids would really love it and have fun climbing the rocks and going around in the woods.

I enjoyed the hike. We went all the way up and the weather was perfect. At the bottom it might be easier to climb. As you go up the rocks get bigger and the ridges get deeper, but yet still fun to do. Nature is amazing and can create astonishing things. You can choose the sporty way and go through the rocks or take the trail that runs along side. If u get up to the bridge your have done 2/3 of the hike. Just be careful on ur way down!!!

Beautiful townhall building! Nice and cozy environment

Michelstadt is indeed an old town and well worth a visit it goes back to the medieval days, it has a synagogue that you can visit, the once a thriving Jewish community but not since the 1930s , the town pavements are covered in Stolperstein which little cobblestone with the name of the people arrested, deported, and murdered by the Nazis I would recommend a visit to the town

This lovely 15th century building is the main landmark of Michelstadt. Located in the old town area, this building housed the town administration until 1920.

We always bring visitors here. It is 'gemütlich' and there are good restaurants around it

This was during the Eastern market that they have on the weekends around Easter. It's fun they sell some food it isn't big like a Christmas market. But it is a fun place to go and has a festive atmosphere and all the shops are open even on Sunday. They sell some brats and some snitchel some ice cream and things like that

As a Filipina who loves Fairytales Cartoons movie, I always dreamed to see tmreal Castle. But then I Started to love old culture Cities. This City is one of my favorite in my list, which I was so inlove in this town and dreaming to have my next home here. Middle age is here to found! Rathaus was built on 1484 which facinated me that until this Generation this house still standing after many years!

Not a public place. Often taken over by private shows and activities which block the views to the visitors. Should not be a location for shows and events. Visitors are interested in the natural beauty of the state property with no commercial events or shows. Money is always king of the people

Schlossplatz is truly the heart of the city and absolutely deserves five stars! It is a stunning, beautiful landmark that immediately impresses visitors with its grand scale; it's a truly large square perfect for relaxing. What makes it exceptional is how impeccably clean and safe it feels, clearly being well-protected by police presence, allowing you to enjoy your visit worry-free. After enjoying the scenery and the calm atmosphere, you'll love that the surrounding area is packed with many excellent restaurants to eat at. A perfect central destination!

Not that impressed by Schlossplatz. The building and the park are nice but it was very very crowded. Not sure what it is exactly but it is missing the vibe that cities like London or Paris have… On the positive side; we found Coffreez; a really nice coffee take away bar. See foto.

It was really crowded when we went. There are a lot of cool things to see here. A lot of shopping as well. The flea market was open when we went, so we got to see a lot of old items. We went in the November, and they were setting up for the Christmas Market.

Great place to visit and grab a bite to eat. Beautiful and very picturesque. We were there during UEFA Nation's League Cup and the atmosphere was electrifying

Stuttgart hasn't that much to offer to visitors if you don't count two outstanding car museums in its suburbs. The central area is mostly modern and new rebuilt after WWII grounding of entire city. Schlossplatz, or the Palace square is the best attraction from historic point of view. Like you might conclude it's in the very center. A huge Wurtemburg Kings palace dominates the square on the eastern side. In the middle is the unification obelisk erected in honor of Wurtemberg joining the German confederation, with two nice fountains. The square is full of people having their free time and picnic there, while around the square are several bars and restaurants to sip a drink and enjoy the beauty

Beautiful garden + zoo which is so nicely maintained. The garden is spectacular. There is the cactus area which would mesmerize all garden lovers. The surroundings are well kept. The Amazon experience is amazing. The animals can be viewed closely, that's how the landscaping is done for their enclosures. Multiple restaurants are within the Wilhelma zoo. Not to forget some lucky ones even got peacock feathers. We visited on a Saturday with kids and it was a day well spent.

Huge place to visit, great value for money of you go on sight seeing. Wilhelma is both a botanical and a zoological garden with a great collection in both fauna. There are a lot of things to do for children (special places were they can climb and play) but as well as a lot of places to grab something to eat or a coffee or a … bear.

This was by far the biggest coolest zoo we've ever been to! Beautiful botanical gardens too! There's different microclimate buildings with native plants to those regions and the animals are out in their habitat when you walk through. We've never experienced anything like it, definitely the coolest thing we did while we were in Stuttgart! Parking was 8 euros, we spent 6 hours making our way through the park and could have been there even longer than that. We used the 3 day stuttcard that we purchased for entrance at the zoo. Well worth your time!

Wilhelma is an absolute must-visit and a stellar example of modern zoological care! From the moment you step inside, the entire park feels incredibly well maintained—a truly pristine environment. The focus on animal welfare is clear; the complex features very good, spacious animal sanctuaries that clearly contribute to happy animals throughout the exhibits. It's truly heartwarming to see the dedication of the staff, and it’s obvious there are a lot of workers enjoying their job, which adds to the positive atmosphere. A fantastic, ethical, and beautiful day out!

I have visited zoo and botanical gardens lot of time but the trip to Wilhelma was a unique experience. It is constructed such that to give a natural habitat to the animals while people can also experience how the animals of wild look like. You can see them real close through glass windows. This was a very unique experience. There are all kinds of animals and birds. Since I have been only one time, due to limited time, I couldn't visit the Amazon forest and botanical gardens. All this green area , birds and animals is a joy of soul and eyes. Never had this much of calm in a very long time. I am happy that I visited it today. Note : I arrived at the gate and it was opened and none there , I stepped one foot to see where is the staff and a guy firmly asked me to step outside again. I didn't and showed him my ticket , he check it and then allowed me to enter. His behavior was so rude.

It was a unique experience from my side. After having parked the car, we entered to the museum and took the elevator to the top floor where you are going to start your journey. From classic cars to classic sport cars and from recent road stars to formula cars. I mean simply amazing. The most important thing to do in the city.

Our visit to the Kloster was fine. Staff at entrance was friendly and the souvenir shop was cute but the inside of the Kloster isn’t really worth the entrance fee (5€ for adults without a guided tour) Some rooms were completely closed when we entered. Maybe need to rent a tour of monastery next time? But still way too pricey for 8€ to take a guided tour.

great place to spend a day off. Entrance to the gallery is free; a large number of sculpture exhibits are located on the street. Inside there is an interesting selection of art from various directions and periods, a lot of air and light. There is a cafe and toilets. There is also a second museum dedicated to technology. Again, a great place to enjoy a day off.

medieval church from 1156 from romanesque to Gothic architecture. the building offers all. beautiful baroque side altars, tower visit, magnificent bell with a clock timing. large stairs with an open theater and amazing main altar. it is the main highlight of the town.

Besides being a historical building with the greatest architecture, the staircase outside is used by the town as a stage for plays. Away from home and wanting to serve God with fellow worshippers, it was the most amazing sermon I have attended.

Oh wow. Past amazing. Everything is so old! Be sure to go up the bell tower, just watch your times around the bells because it is loud!! The church is just amazing. Only downside is that very little is printed in English so if you're a tourist, be sure to use Google Translate

Schwäbisch Hall is a very nice City to visit, and stopping by ST Michael Church is totally worth it. There are also Restaurants and Stores in the vicinity.

Very nice 20.9 meter tower. Great view of Aalen and surroundings. At the base of the tower there is a playground for children, lots of benches and tables, and a restaurant, but it was closed (July Saturday afternoon).

The place is about 200m above city level and may take around 40-50 by foot from the city centre. At top there is a restaurant and a observation deck. From the observation tower one can see complete city of Aalen.

If you love trekking on a hill and campfires at night this is the place to be. The scenic view of Aalen from that observation tower is absolutely breathtaking.

baroque-renaissance residence, place of sitting for the Markgraven. you can only visit with a guided tour, a gothic hall on the ground floor is open freely. the tour is a series of rooms and story of the owners. the place is under heavy renovation works (outside and inside), plans for end 2025 to be reopen without limitations again, but the replica is there to see especially the ceiling rococo in the fest Halle. the place was barely damaged in war so you could actually see original stuff from the 18th century.

The palace offers an engaging visit that can be completed within an hour. Visitors have the opportunity to explore several interesting rooms and gain insightful information about the site. Guided tours are available and provide a great experience; however, they are conducted exclusively in German. For non-German speakers, understanding the full context may be challenging, as the information is presented in a printout sheet, which does not entirely capture the essence of the experience. Also some of the rooms are under repairs and are not visitable. Additionally, the ground floor features a porcelain exhibition, enhancing the visit with an interesting cultural touch.

Visited the castle with the English tour because you can't visit by yourself. The guide was really nice and his English was great too. The castle is really nice though it is not furnished and some renovations were going on. But the guide made the visit much better to be honest!

Really beautiful palace and tour was very interesting. Not as opulent or large as the one in Munich but still quite nice. Parking is on the city street and you have to pay for it.

Initially was thinking the park will reach the villa but that was not the case. It can’t even be seen from the park. The park is a beautiful one, most interesting part I’ve found to be the area in proximity of the lake. A visit is recommended.

Wunderfull place to go to relax and walk. You truly can spend hours there. Seeing some lakes, animals and different plants. A non crowded nice area to be around.

Love this place! When the lotus bloom is just magical! I took the stroller but it is best to put your baby in an ergobaby if you can, so you can really walk the trails. Love the temple on top of the hill!have a caffè top with lots of choices of cakes.loved it!

I was very positively surprised by visiting the park. It has very various paths, even kinda adventure. We were there with the whole family (adults + 4 years old kid) and all of us are very happy. Would visit again for sure.

A must visit and dogs are allowed too, every other Sunday they are even allowed to be off leash for play dates. But still recommend to keep them leashed unless your recall is good or other dog owners want contact. It’s just a decent manner to do so between dog owners :)

The Schlosspark is a stunningly beautiful garden, especially when the rhododendren are in bloom. One part of the park is inspired by the Japanese style, while the other part - which is still being extended and worked on - features a moor and has been left to nature. You can easily spend 3 hours in this park if you explore all the hidden paths and maybe have a seat on one of the many benches, to enjoy the views. It's one of my favourite places to visit! Don't forget your camera. ;)

Needs a lot of work and almost doesn't have any flowers (at least it didn't in April) not much love is given to this place as it seems abandoned and run down, even though the Schlosspark could be something really amazing if some work were REALLY put into it. The café does make good Flammkuchen, I give it that. The restaurant was closed because "of the season" which was quite disappointing. The place was a let down but hopefully it can turn into something great with a little bit of work and advertisment! Good luck 🤞

Very cool experience, amazing, and worth a visit if you're near Bamberg. The tour is only in German, so be prepared to use Google translate if you're not fluent in the language. Very simple, the guide happily spoke about each room, then gave us a minute for Google translate to say it back in English.

Beautiful castle. The architecture is so gorgeous and the information you receive throughout the tour was very interesting. They provide children with a questionnaire and when they answer all the questions, they receive a small price at the end. What makes me give this a 4 out of 5 is that you can't walk through the rooms alone and can only take a tour so if there is something you want to look at longer you can't because the group moves on. Also absolutely no cameras are allowed inside the castle so that was a bit of a letdown.

Lovely old stately home, we did not go inside even though that is possible. at the time of visiting the cafe and toilettes were open to the public and one could walk in the grounds of the park, this is not a park with ornate garden features but a large park with a lake and grasses were deer can roam. There is ample free parking and covid restrictions were applied at the time of our visit.

The guide was rushed through and in german but a definite visit. Depictions of asia on the ceilings was very intresting but my obvious favourite was the grotto room. You could smell the sea in the room.

Great place por kids! It's small but your children will have a blast! There is an indoor area with several stations to play with a bucket of toys for each kid. There is an outdoor area with a pirate ship and a pirate shack with a slide, a little fountain with a hand pump and another mini slide. The cafeteria has a good selection of dishes and reasonably priced. If you gonna buy some toys, just make sure to buy them at the store before closing time.

Absolutely great outdoor park with tons of water playgrounds . Kids are busy playing there and us adults can sit and relax . It’s great in summer . Personally I don’t like the indoor spot . Way too noisy and stressful . Supposedly winters are long and it’s great to have a playground covered ….but yeah … The outdoors in summer are just the best for young and older kids .

The visit was excellent. However, there aren't many activities for children under 1.20m mostly playground-type areas, the water zone, and the Bauernhof area. The rest was for taller kids. Still, we had a great time, and my daughter enjoyed the whole day. There's a restaurant with a good variety of options and reasonable prices. The only downside was a restroom near the restaurant, it was quite small and not very clean, but the one inside the main building was much better. We went during the school holidays, so it was quite crowded.

This is the best playground for kids! I was a little skeptical about the price, but it's absolutely worth it! Imagine a Playmobil village in real life, water games, castle, pirates galleon, amazing! My 3yo really loved it!

Everything was okay, the wellness area itself wasn't that large, it barely had 2-3 pools with around 34-36 degrees max. The rest of the area was quite crowded with children playing and splashing water everywhere. The food was pretty decent with many nice options. It's difficult to park the car here, we had to park in an empty area near the place because the parking was full.

I have been a loyal guest of The Palms for many years, but my most recent experience was deeply upsetting and unacceptable. During my visit, I began feeling lightheaded and dehydrated. I politely asked for water, stating clearly that I was willing to pay for it. Instead of receiving assistance, I was treated rudely by the staff—despite being a paying customer. What made this experience even more painful was witnessing white German patrons being treated with courtesy and prompt service, while I was ignored and dismissed. I felt discriminated against, not only through the lack of basic hospitality, but also through derogatory language spoken in German—language I understood, although it may not have been assumed I did. When I raised my concerns with the manager, they simply spoke to the staff member in question, who of course denied any wrongdoing. Without security footage or audio recordings, it becomes my word against theirs—but that does not mean my experience should be invalidated. I hope The Palms takes incidents like this seriously. No guest should feel humiliated or discriminated against, especially when asking for something as basic as water while visibly unwell. I would appreciate a formal response and to know what steps, if any, are being taken to address the issue and ensure this kind of behavior is not repeated.

My family and I had an incredibly uncomfortable and disturbing experience at this pool. We were shocked to see a fully naked adult man in an area where children were present. This is not only a breach of the pool's rules but also created a deeply unsafe and inappropriate environment for my child. The lack of action from the staff was deeply concerning. There was absolutely no reason why a grown male be naked in front of my 6 years old daughter. The sauna was good. There were queues for Aufguss which is not cool when you want to relax. The therme is huge
