Wineries & Vineyards
Podere La Marronaia is a biodynamic winery and farm in Tuscany that offers an amazing experience for visitors. The staff is brilliant, and the setting is wonderful, making it a perfect choice for wine tasting. They are accommodating to dietary restrictions with advance notice. Visitors can enjoy wine and cheese tastings or even book truffle tastings, which include surprises like olive oil and balsamic vinegar tastings.
Adriano was a superb host! I don't know if the experience would have been worth the price without him. He made all the difference. Delicious wine and plenty of snacks. I recommend going in the regular season because if you go in winter all the vines are cut, which I probably should have realized but was so excited I did not

We took part in their “Wine Tasting with a Meal” ~ wine, EVO oil, & balsamic tasting with a Tuscan meal. It was a perfect afternoon! Giulia was our host and she helped make it an amazing experience. She was so kind and welcoming. The views are gorgeous, our lunch was delicious, and of course the wine was wonderful. We loved that it was not only a wine tasting, but trying the different olive oils & vinegars really made it special. We also loved how close it was to town. When we are in Tuscany again, we will definitely return.
The S — Google review
We visited this winery as part of our honeymoon and were immediately taken by the stunning views and warm hospitality. The property, while situated right off the main road and not exactly a hidden gem, is still incredibly charming — a lovely setting with wide-open views of the Tuscan countryside. The wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar tasting itself, however, felt a bit underwhelming. Our waiter, "Sam", seemed to be reciting from a script rather than speaking with genuine enthusiasm or connection to the wines and oils. There was no guidance at all during the oil and vinegar portion, and by the end, we weren’t even asked if we had tried them. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means — but it lacked the personal storytelling and passion that can elevate a tasting and make it truly memorable. I would recommend having a different staff member take you on the tasting journey. The staff overall were friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Dario, who was helpful and kind when we ordered an additional glass of wine to enjoy while walking the grounds — a relaxing way to take in the scenery. All in all, it’s a beautiful spot with kind people and great views — we just wished for a bit more authenticity and engagement in the tasting itself. Based on my wine tasting experiences around the world, the pricing here felt a bit on the higher end for what was offered.
Mallory L — Google review
We Booked a wine tasting with snacks, several weeks in advance. Such a great decision. We had the most wonderful 2 hours and never felt rushed. Had a perfect mix of receiving wine information and being left alone for us to enjoy the view. Highly recommend!
Taylor D — Google review
Family run winery! Exceptional food, wine, oil and service. Small style authentic no large tour groups. Beautiful scenery! Definitely recommend if seeking authentic Italian experience.
Erin C — Google review
One of the finest Vinyards that we have patronized. Adriano served us well, always polite and had a sharp sense of humour. Originally from Romania, brought up here in Tuscany, we're fortunate to have him elaborate on the Tuscans way of living. Food is authentic Tuscany and the freshness is undoubted. We had a fabulous time here and highly recommend visiting ❤️❤️❤️
GEORGE L — Google review
We took a private cooking class at Podere La Marronaia and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The chef guiding us was warm, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the experience both fun and approachable. We made bruschetta, cacio e pepe, and gnocchi, and everything turned out delicious. After the class, we got to taste their excellent wines, as well as their olive oil and balsamic vinegar.. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, just about an hour outside of Florence, and well worth the trip. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic, hands-on Tuscan experience.
Sam E — Google review
Such a waste of time. We took a detour to visit this region and booked this winery but when we arrived they said it was cancelled. They said they tried to contact us but with no success. Another couple also got cancelled. We got the money back but no compensation for waste of vacation time, an extra Hotel night and fuel, just a big disappointment. Don’t book this winery, there are lots of other good ones in the region! As you can see below the Winery threatens to take legal action if I don’t remove the bad review. I will not be silenced but have instead edited the review to make it more clear what happened from my point of view.

Museo Leonardiano di Vinci

Science Museums
The Leonardo da Vinci Museum, also known as Museo Leonardiano di Vinci, is a popular destination attracting around 130,000 visitors annually. It houses valuable documentation on Leonardo and his scientific knowledge during the Renaissance. The museum is located in Palazzina Uzielli and Conti Guidi Castle, offering exhibitions of Leonardo's ingenious projects such as construction and textile machinery. Visitors can explore animated digital reconstructions of his inventions.
Leonardo da Vinci’s birthplace is just a 5-minute drive away, and I visited it together with the museum. It turned out to be an even more wonderful place than I had imagined. The exhibits showcasing da Vinci’s cross-disciplinary inventions were all creatively designed and truly exciting. I thought I already knew quite a bit about his inventions, but seeing so many of them brought to life and in motion right in front of me was a completely different experience. The museum is divided into two buildings, and even with a thorough visit, it takes about two hours. On the ground floor of one building, there’s a hands-on area where children can learn through experience. Also, walking through the town that includes these two buildings was delightful. There were monuments, art paintings, and souvenir shops scattered throughout, all showing deep respect for da Vinci. I truly hope more people will come and enjoy this place!
Osamu F — Google review
Even if you are not a fan I think it is a must to visit Vinci village if you are traveling in Tuscany. The museum really didn’t influence me that much, I am not into mechanics, but I was shocked by what wonderful inventions he made at that time, there are some replicas of his paintings with explanation. But what I most was effected by was his house where Leonardo lived with his grandfather until he left when he was 17 years old, you can also visit the church where he was baptized. It was an incredible experience to look out the window Leonardo was looking out of. I recommend buying tickets from an official website of this museum, spend a little time and you’ll figure it out there. We bought the tickets for the first session at 10.30 I think and there was no one when we came so no lines. After little after tourist groups started arriving, so it became a little more crowded. If I were you I would go there first thing in the morning.
Tamila R — Google review
Really coolnto walk around where he had lived and worked. There are many models, exhibits, all with explanations (Italaian/English). Try the tower!! Note: 122 steps up, 122 steps down. There are corners to allow faster folk to pass you safely. The view from the top is worth it.
Ian F — Google review
The museum was okey. I would only recommend visiting the museum and going all the way up for the great views. Highly recommend avoiding the house visit and "paintings" as they are all copies and not even the good ones. You need to drive up to the house which is nice in the outside but literally 3 rooms, one with a big fireplace, 1 with a big projector and 1 with stands with information. Not worth it as you can see anything for the days or get an idea of HOW he lived or what his house looked like inside. Dont waste your money. HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating at Caffè del Castello as they have great pasta dishes which change daily. Super recommend if you like good food. Staff were great.
Efb — Google review
Great place to view the detailed models of Leonardo’s inventions and the drawings of the researches of the human body. A must see when visiting Tuscany.
Jaap H — Google review
Loved the experience here. What a fascinating man- so many interests. The view from up tops was very cool as well
Randy H — Google review
We went out of our way to see this museum and were very glad we did. The drive up to Vinci was beautiful and fun. The small village the museum is in is adorable with the most amazing views. The museum itself focuses on di Vinci’s engineering invention. The displays were fascinating but it’s a very very small museum. I wish there had been more.
Becca D — Google review
This museum consists of 3 parts in the village where Leonardo was born. It's not huge, but informative. More LdV's overall life and genius, not just artwork. Amazing views from the top of the church part of the museum. There are lots of steps with a few lifts. Gift shops, cafe. Plenty of parking.

Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Tuscany, Autograph Collection

Spas & Wellness
Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort Tuscany, Autograph Collection is an elegant hotel set on a 19th-century estate in Tuscany. The property offers a unique experience with its thermal spa located in a cave complex. Guests can enjoy dining at the restaurant and bar, relax at the spa, work out at the gym, and indulge in thermal water pools. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a distinct Italian flair.
We rented a car to explore Tuscany, and you will need one to get to the hotel. The hotel is lovely and we wish we had booked a longer stay. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, they really try their best to make sure you have a pleasant stay. We had breakfast and dinner at the resort, the Florentine steak was not the best but the pasta and other dishes were stellar. They were also very careful with my food allergies. Finally a visit to the caves is €50 per person, which is a little overpriced, but it was a once in a lifetime experience and we had it all to ourselves.
M K — Google review
Gratto Giusti was an incredible oasis. This beautiful property is located on 40 acres, tucked in the corner of a quaint village. From the entering the driveway and gates, the to the lobby entrance, reception area and room everything was outstanding. The grounds and all the amenities were wonderful, feeling more as a guest of the estate and not a hotel. Thoughtful touches throughout the spaces and guest room were very appreciated. The natural spring pools and lounging areas throughout the spa were, relaxing and picturesque.
Cari R — Google review
We had a wonderful time at the spa. We got a day package with the meditarium circuit, the outdoor pool, and the grotto and we also booked 2 swedish massages. The meditarium circuit was fine. It was nice to spend some time in the saunas and swapping between hot and cold but nothing too special. The massages were great. Not quite as much pressure as american massages but very relaxing and nice. The cave was cool. It was fun to walk around and then sit for a while in the heat. A fun experience that is very unique, which really is the point of traveling yes? Our favorite part was the pool! It was pretty and warm and not too crowded. Very peaceful way to spend an afternoon. We also ate at the cafe, which was deillicious and enjoyed sitting by the pool with our food.
Cassandra J — Google review
Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel in Tuscany! Staff service was phenomenal and the rooms are beautiful. Great restaurant and bar and of course the thermal pool and spa are spectacular (get the mud scrub/olive oil massage). I was lucky enough to meet the management team and they are true hospitality professionals. Thank you for a magical stay!
Sara K — Google review
Small room. Very small bed. Very , very noisy!!!!!!! You hear everything from the other rooms. No sleep 4 nights long. Too hot in the room. 25 degrees in the night. Staff is nice. Food is good. Beautiful building .
Sara S — Google review
The staff were super friendly and the pool area was great for relaxing, but the massage I came for just didn’t quite hit the mark. For €160 I was hoping for something a bit more intuitive and dynamic, but it felt repetitive and light on pressure. Very routine and not exceptional, which isn’t what I was expecting at that price point. I really wanted to love this place, but if you’re mainly coming for a massage, you might find better options nearby.
Mike D — Google review
My husband and I chose to come here as part of our 10th anniversary travels. Unfortunately the experience fell short of our expectations based on what was advertised. The location of the hotel is just outside the city. Let me express that the hotel is Mansion”like”.. the grounds, and hotel are grande. The thermal spa was overstated for the $50.00 per person for only an hour inside the grotto. So $50.00 to sit inside the cave for 50 minutes. THE ABSOLUTE most disappointing part was the view. The room was a beautiful junior suite overlooking the TRASH BINS. HARDLY the garden view promised. We got to our beautiful room, unpacked then opened the windows to see the trash bins plus some towel storage facility, The people were nice and food was impeccable however if you are looking for anything to do, you are extremely limited to pools, jacuzzi, sauna and costly spa/massages as the town is not set up for tourism.
Kellee S — Google review
I had a little small issue with AC. The night staff were incredibly kind and had me in to another room immediately. The following day, the general manager found me by the pool and apologized profusely. I was then offered a drink and it was delivered. I was offered a new accommodation. My new room was upgraded and fabulous. Not only that, I received a handwritten note with a beautiful fruit tray that evening again apologizing. Stuff breaks… But I have traveled my whole life and never ever received this level of customer service . This is a hotel I will come back to again and again they truly know what taking care of their customers is about! p.s Their bartender is an extraordinary talent, as are their chiefs. They were very accommodating to creating dishes and drinks that were not on their menu for us. My heart felt thanks Grotta Giusti Thermal Spa Resort.

Cooking Classes
Fantastic. We went with 4 adults and 2 children (4and7 yrs old) and it was a real highlight. Bianca and Luigi have a very special place. The adults rode horses and Bianca lead a cooking class for our children who absolutely loved it. They crushed tomatoes to make sauce, they made pasta, they made tirimasu. What a treat. When we returned from the little peaceful trek with Rosa (on some very calm and obedient horses through the olive groves) the children did a couple laps of the stables. Really special and delighted we chose to do this.

Wow, this was one of the best activities/excursions I have ever been on! We came in late Feb and had everything all to ourselves. Ross was absolutely incredible! She was very patient with my wife (who is nervous on/around horses) and we all (4 in total) had an amazing ride. Riding through the Tuscan countryside was breath taking, even though it was winter time. Ross took great pictures of us on the walk and had the horse stop for a quick picture of each rider and their horse. I can’t recommend having lunch after your ride enough! The spread that we had was stunning. Pasta with a sauce that had meat from the special pig breed they have, a ginormous charcuterie plate and a delightful fruit tart. We had a bottle of the house red and it was so tasty. I can’t say enough good things about our time here. Yes it’s hard to get to (rental car or private driver is really the only way) but it is so worth it. Ross was so wonderful, we were sad to part with her!

Great place to come and enjoy some fantastic home cooked Italian food. The wild boar Ragu and tagliatelle was delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the spectacular views. You can either enjoy a horse ride in the morning or if you have children, enjoy expert trying session. Please check ahead as not all children may be comfortable on a horse.

I spent a wonderful weekend at Fattoria Tegoni with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place is surrounded by beautiful countryside, offering peace and relaxation, yet it also has plenty of space for socializing and enjoying time together. The farmhouse is charming and well-kept, with cozy, comfortable rooms and all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the outdoor areas, which were ideal for gathering, sharing meals, and enjoying the scenery. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was the perfect setting for a special occasion, and we created memories we’ll cherish for a long time. I highly recommend Fattoria Tegoni both for group celebrations and for anyone looking to unwind in an authentic and friendly environment. Grazie mille to Bianca and Luigi for their warm welcome and for making sure we had a wonderful time!

I booked a tour for my friend and I and it was absolutely stunning!!! The landscape is so beautiful! Our guide was so nice and the horses are so well behaved and trained. It was a one of my best experiences in Tuscany and would recommend everyone to do it during „golden hour“.

We went there twice in different periods of the year. No matter the season, the place was amazing. We went horseriding through the hills and had beautiful aperitivos prepared by our friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

Bianca, Maria, and Luigi hosted us in their beautiful home for a cooking class. They were an amazing family and were incredibly nice and welcoming. The class was one of the highlights of my family’s trip and the meal was the best we had during our stay in Italy. My family and I highly recommend this to anyone. You will not be disappointed by the food or company. Thank you Bianca for being an incredible host!

Like a fairytale. Old coupe goes up and down every half an hour. On the hill there is a great view on Montecatini and a big number of caffes and restaurants. Very romantic and prestige.

Riding the funicolare to the top of the mountain is totally worth it!! While you are up there- explore the small medieval village! The view is fabulous! 👍❤️

Great experience—definitely recommend! The return ticket was €7 per person, and absolutely worth it. Montecatini Alto felt like stepping back in time. I absolutely loved it! 🥰

It was a fun, relaxing ride, you have plenty of information available on the spot regarding its history an elevation angles. And the view from Montecatini Alto is magnificent. The funicular program makes it hard to miss the experience (it is open until 24.00).
R S — Google review
The journey is gentle and slow enough to be able to enjoy the view. Staff were friendly and a return ticket is €7. We enjoyed our visit to Montecatini Alto, there are several small shops and a central square with restaurants, a bar, and Gelato shop. lots of outdoor seating and shade in a medieval village.

If you're in Montecatini then you should visit Montecatini Alto using the Furnicular! This is the mountain Railcar that takes you up to the small town with big views! Trains run every 30mins all day and night (not overnight) and tickets cost €7.50

This was a really nice experience. If your in this region of Italy, then you must try it

A lovely little ride up/down the mountain in a historic funicular car. The cost for a round-trip/return ticket is €7.50, and the cars run on the hour and half-hour until midnight (see the attached schedule). Walking up the Alto is quite a trek (I did it and was certainly out of breath by the top), so save yourself the trouble and take this!

The Etruscan Museum "Mario Guarnacci" has a rich history, dating back to 1761 when Mario Guarnacci donated his archaeological collection to the city of Volterra. This generous donation included a vast library and unique works from various centuries. The museum is home to the famous Ombra della Sera sculpture and also houses the Volterra Picture Gallery with masterpieces like Rosso Fiorentino's Deposition.
Since I knew next to nothing about this pre-Roman civilization and was intrigued, the museum was the main attraction I wanted to see in Volterra. However, we almost passed it by as it looked so unimposing on the outside and there didn't seem to be anywhere to park nearby. In fact, there is some parking just 50 yards down the road, with a scenic view. Inside, the museum is very modern and well organized. The displays are beautiful and have more interpretive material than we had seen in some other museums. I highly recommend visiting.

We went there on the Notte Bianca (7/19/2025) when all the museum in the city is free after 21:00. We were the one of the first into the museum when it opened at 21:00 and we’re the only ones on the second floor where the famous sculptures are. Really cool experience to be able to explore a museum at night with so little people and being able to see the artifacts up close without being rushed by other tourists. Really recommend going on a Notte Bianca.

For lovers of Etruscan history, and for those just learning about the importance of the Etruscans, this museum is superb. From funerary uns, to bronze sculptures, to amazing household artifacts, this museum has it all. We spent over 2 hours inside and loved every minute. Plus, a huge bonus for us were the several beautiful (but covered) mosaic floors! Such a great museum!

Amazing museum. Amidst all the Roman ruins in Italy, the Etruscans often get overlooked. This museum has a ton of artifacts from the Etruscans -- older than the Roman empire and incredibly well preserved. The signage is mostly bilingual. Where it's only available in Italian, staff were willing to give us an explanation in English.
Ari E — Google review
We'd read the reviews and were conflicted. Is this another old museum? NO. This is THE presentation of Etruscan life. The museum has undergone an amazing upgrade thanks to the EU. Ok, there are a couple of rooms with exhibits that are dated. But the rest are great. Seems a major project has occurred in 2025. Information is presented in Italian and English. The new displays are classy. We knew nothing about Etruscan culture. Now we know a bit more. Worth a visit for sure

An intriguing museum that was the surprise highlight of our visit to Volterra! Just visible on a distant hilltop, Volterra was pointed out to us by a local winery owner as a city we needed to visit because of its place in Tuscan history and its unique cultural artifacts - the burial urns of the Etruscans and its Roman theater. We didn't know much more than that, but we knew enough to trust when someone recommends something to us with nothing to gain for themselves, and we couldn't be happier we followed that instinct. This is one of those amazing museums that makes you want to continue to learn more even after you leave!
Daniel P — Google review
This Museum contains a beautiful collection of sarcophagi and other Etruscan tools. Very interesting, and definitely worth a visit. Having an elevator, it is accessible and comfortable, too. Still, the museum lacks modernity: there is no introduction to the Etruscans, and being unprepared it takes a while to understand what the exhibition is all about. Doesn‘t matter, maybe, when there are plenty of guards, as in this museum. You could simply ask, couldn‘t you? Unfortunately, the guards I talked to also couldn‘t explain the Etruscans, too. Thus, 3 stars. But hey, just a video intro and a little bit of tutoring and us visitors would all be set, wouldn‘t we?
Jan B — Google review
This museum is a must see if you’re in Volterra, as it shines a bright light on the Etruscan (pre-Roman) civilisation. The collection is somewhat uneven - there are some sections which look as if they’re still awaiting reorganisation and improved explanatory notices, and there are more funerary urns than most people need, but the most important sections are well laid out and explained, and include some fascinating and beautiful items, such as the very extended figure of a young man, and even some of the funerary urns! Highly recommended.

Volterra Museum of Torture

Specialty Museums
Volterra Museum of Torture is one of the notable attractions in downtown Volterra, Tuscany. It's a place for those with a strong stomach and an interest in the horror genre. The museum showcases tools used for torture in past centuries, offering visitors a glimpse into the grim history of human cruelty. Despite its chilling subject matter, it's an intriguing stop for those fascinated by macabre artifacts and historical paraphernalia.
I visited the Volterra Museum of Torture during my trip to Tuscany in October 2025 and it was quite an experience. The museum, located right in the center of Volterra, showcases original and reconstructed torture instruments from different centuries, mainly between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Beyond the shock factor, it’s actually quite educational — it gives a strong reminder of how cruelty was institutionalized in the past, often justified by religion or politics. Entrance costs €10 for adults and €8 for reduced tickets. The exhibition isn’t huge, but it’s well-curated and packed with interesting (and disturbing) artifacts. A few practical notes: • Small dogs (up to 8 kg) are allowed inside; larger ones aren’t. • The place is clean and well-organized, though some parts can feel a bit cramped. • Definitely not suitable for kids or anyone sensitive to graphic content. Overall, I found it fascinating — a dark but meaningful visit. Just be ready for some intense visuals and stories.

Gotta know the past to realize a better future, just visit it to have an idea about discrimination was 100/200 years ago. Something obout those obscenities are still present on our World and everybody should reflect on this. Talking bout The museum itself is well manteined and not too big. Is silent and is placed in one of the most Volterra's beautiful plazas. I suggest it also to young tourists that wants to know more about Europe history.

Nice collection and location but I’m shocked by the fact that this place is cash ONLY and they also accept donations… the audacity! The printed 'guides' must be at least 10 years old: just three stapled pages with inaccurate translations. Personally, in 2025, I think it’s time the owners consider an upgrade

Splendid little jewel of a museum that offers a glimpse into the mysterious ancient Etruscan world. Breath-taking artifacts that show the artisanal skill and creativity that this civilization had developed.

Brilliant. One of the best small museums I've been too. Franco was super helpful with lots of information and a great sense of humour. The selection of Etruscan objects, jewellery here is wonderful and then you can walk down the hill a little and walk the excavation site and walk on the road that the Etruscans walked on centuries ago. Very peaceful place too. The town is beautiful to walk around and the drive up is fantastic too. The view from the town is stunning. Absolutely worth a visit. We enjoyed an espresso at the little cafe just opposite the museum and then an absolutely fantastic lunch with incredible view at La Terrazza deli Etruschi which is just up the hill (5mins walk) from the museum. That way you can to see and experience the town too.

Le Mortelle

Wineries & Vineyards
Gorgeous Tuscany view with very friendly staff! The beauty and peacefulness of the Tuscan land mixed with the powerful feeling of the winery is breathtaking. On the outside is a gorgeous land that is well manicured and perfect for pictures but open the door and you’ll find yourself in a luxurious underground winery with heavy wine machinery & character. Don’t expect this to be cheap! Wine tour plus light lunch was €75 per person. 3 wines… 2 reds and 1 white but all are great. Bring a camera… better yet, bring a photographer to take pictures of you as the view is stunning!
Klim K — Google review
Le Mortelle is a beautiful winery in Tuscany, just outside of Castiglione della Pescacia. The setting is stunning, including rolling Tuscan hills, interesting architecture, and panoramic views. We tasted three wines (one white and two reds), presented by a sommelier. The wines were at various price points, all from estate fruit. We paired the tasting with a cheese plate and lunch, which we enjoyed in a Le Mortelle's beautiful garden setting. The food was fresh and flavorful, with allergen info clearly listed. Some of the products are grown on the estate, like the blueberry jam (and we took home a pack of blueberries). Our server had great energy and was quite funny. Everyone we interacted with spoke English and made us feel welcome. Although Le Mortelle is owned by the the expansive Antinori Family of wineries (which includes Stags Leap Wine Cellars and Antinori Napa Valley in Napa Valley, CA and Haras de Pirque in Maipo, Chile). The resources show in the setting, wine quality and level of hosptiality. If you appreciate great wine and food in an elevated (but still friendly) atmosphere, this is a home-run. Make a reservation if you're coming on a weekend.

Le Mortelle is a winery you won’t easily forget because of its setting and atmosphere. The place has a stunning ambiance – spacious, well-kept, and with a view that’s simply breathtaking. The service isn’t particularly outstanding and can feel a bit slow at times, but it hardly matters when you’re overlooking the vineyards and the beautiful landscape. If you’re looking for a memorable spot where wine and scenery come together, this is the place to be.

Total disappointment — would not recommend We booked a tour several weeks in advance and specifically requested that it be provided in English. Our group of seven was given a set time, and through both email and phone correspondence we were assured the tour would be in English. We also asked that the wine tasting consist only of white wines, since some in our group do not drink red. On the day of the tour, after driving two hours to get there, we were told the tour could only be given in Italian because the English translator was not available. To make matters worse, the staff implied the miscommunication was somehow our fault. The staff were unhelpful and dismissive. Hoping to salvage the visit, one of our friends offered to translate for the group, which was initially accepted. However, just a few minutes in, he was told to stop because it was “disturbing” other clients — despite the fact that it was the only way for us to follow along. At that point, we decided to leave rather than pay for a tour most of us couldn’t understand. As we walked away, the guide actually laughed at us and made a joke to the remaining guests — highly unprofessional and disrespectful. We tried to share our concerns with management, but instead of taking responsibility for a clear series of mistakes, they initially blamed us. Only after much discussion did they offer a bottle of wine, which felt like too little, too late. Overall, this experience was a complete waste of time and energy. Unprofessional service, poor communication, and zero accountability. I would strongly advise against booking here.
William P — Google review
⸻ AVOID!!! We booked a tour for 7 people in English and traveled 2 hours to get to the estate, only to be told upon arrival that they could only offer a tour in Italian. We had also requested a tasting focused mainly on white wines, but they flatly refused to accommodate this. The staff were extremely rude and made no effort to find a solution. I even offered to translate for my friends during the tour, but they said it would “disturb other clients.” Unbelievable. We ultimately decided to walk away rather than waste our time. Truly shocking lack of professionalism — don’t waste your time or money here.
Antonio L — Google review
Unprofessional and extremely rude staff I have booked a tour in english with wine tasting for 7 people after communicating both on the phone and on email. I am Italian but my friends are foreigners so we needed a tour in English. I have also requested on email if possible to switch red wine for white for 2 people only given they do not drink red. When we arrived at the day and time booked the lady at the reception told us that the tour was only in Italian as the english tour was in the morning... and it was not possible to switch wines as that was not part of their package. My friend and I tried to find a solution by purchasing a separate white wine bottle and translate for our english friends so that the day would not been ruined after driving for 2 hours to get there. As soon as the tour started the lady told us off saying that was not possible for us to translate because we would have been a distraction for the other guests...so we decided to leave the tour. The tour lady reaction was appaling, she made fun of us with the other guests and carried on. This behaviour is completely unacceptable, sometimes misunderstandings can happen but I have never been treated this bad as a customer in my all life, this was so unprofessional and frankly offensive. Eventually I spoke with the floor manager who was more understanding, she offered us a bottle of wine as an apology but honestly it was too late. I suggest you train your staff properly because they clearly do not know how to deal with customers.

In the charming town of Massa Marittima, visitors can explore the historic Torre del Candeliere, a mighty fortress located in the upper part of the town. This impressive tower offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Gulf of Follonica and Elba Island. Built during Sienese domination, it stands as a testament to the town's rich history, which dates back to Etruscan and Roman times.
Very impressive clock, bell and watch tower and a bridge! The Torre del Candeliere or Candlemaker’s Tower was built for the Massetani in 1228 after they become a free state. I guess you could call it a sort of present to themselves, an outward symbol of their independence. Unfortunately, the Sienese completely destroyed the tower when they took over in 1335. The building was rebuilt shorter than the original design and connected to the Sienese Fortress, which was added after Sienese occupation in an effort to control the rebellious townsfolk.

Been there in August 2025: I love it because it contains a lot of the city's history (establishment of the free municipality, conquest by Siena, etc..) and it's a remarkable example of engeneering skills back then with the bridge. From the top, you can enjoy a marvellous views of the countryside up to the sea and you realize how crucial the city was for controlling a vast area rich on mineral ore (including silver). The city of Massa Marittima impressed me a lot for its beauty and its ability to maintain its medieval structure (its greatest urban development was reached in the XIII century).

Museo Piaggio, located in Pontedera and inaugurated in 2000, is situated within the factory that gave birth to the iconic Vespa. The museum boasts a collection of over 250 pieces, including various Vespas, as well as historical railway and aeronautical artifacts from the early 20th century. Additionally, it showcases motorcycles from renowned Italian brands such as Aprilia, Gilera, and Moto Guzzi.
An amazing place!! The exhibits are really well placed and there are heaps of them. It is a super fun place to be. Like ourselves, everyone was smiling. There is also the history of Piaggio which was really interesting to learn about as I was totally unaware of all the things the business was involved with over the decades. A great place to take the kids or the grandparents. This is up there with the best museums we have been to. It would be worth a Eur10 ticket, but they were only taking donations.

Free entry but please give a reasonable donation to keep such a wonderful museum going.

The most impressive free museum I have ever visited. It offers a rich and broad representation of the company's history and exposes visitors to the people behind the scenes of Vespa's success. Beyond that, I also learned a lot of new things, such as the subsidiaries I had no idea existed and the impressive record of competition victories. The museum offers an audio guide (available in several languages, we used English) that accompanies the exhibits, and each section has its own part that can be accessed via a QR code. Fascinating and highly recommended.

Amazing town castle with a fabulous pasta making experience. This is by far one of the best tourist experiences I’ve had the pleasure of attending with my young family. The drive to the village is challenging with bends, chicanes and steep narrow passes. Beware as you drive the natural beauty of the landscape, seriously idillic property and vantage points are distracting! It’s best to wait for this castle on the top of the hill. Take a deep breath! It gives you an outrageous panoramic view of Tuscan green and terracotta roofs. The village below is exceptionally well kept with quality deli’s and bars. Perfect and relaxed. You must visit the historic pasta factory check for timings and what kind of pasta they are making! #pasta #visititaly #touristintuscany

Guinigi Tower

Mentioned on

Guinigi Tower is a 14th-century brick tower in Lucca, Italy. Visitors can climb 230 steps to reach the top, which is adorned with oak trees and offers stunning views of the city and surrounding mountains. The tower also houses the National Museum of Villa Guinigi, showcasing an extensive collection of art from both local and foreign artists who worked for ecclesiastical and secular clients in Lucca.
The view is stunning and the history behind the tower is also something to appreciate! We queued for only 5 min to get the tickets and made our way up straight away. The terrace view is breathtaking and it's so unusual to find trees on the top of a tower. During summer they offer a perfect shade to be underneath it.
Gaia T — Google review
This is my favorite tower! We've been all over and my family likes to go up on tall things, but I'm afraid of heights. This tower was awesome! The planters and center area were far enough back that I was totally fine hanging out at the top, without my fear causing me issues. It's a long climb up with a great view. I like that they also give families a little break on the price.
Chris B — Google review
A stunning view of one of the most authentic cities in Tuscany. Lucca is known as the “city of one hundred churches” and one tower - a true example of genius in simplicity. The climb is relatively quick and not too difficult, with spots to rest along the way. Reaching the top, you find yourself on a small 20-square-meter island among the trees, surrounded by mountains. It’s an incredible feeling. They’ve even managed to grow new trees up there — a tiny garden raised high above the city. The view is breathtaking from nearly every angle!
Olga V — Google review
To my opinion this is a number one place to visit in Lucca. Its quite unique to see such a 45 m high tower made of brick and stone of local Romanesque-Gothic architecture with trees growing on its top. Just imagine, in the beginning of 14th century there was about 250 towers in Lucca! And as for every tower, if you climb up 233 steps you'll be awarded by 360deg view of old city of Lucca and surrounding mountains. View is stunning, just keep in mind the upper platform is very small that you can barely surround it because of crowds. Entrance is from behind the tower, not on the main street. If you want to buy ticket on place you'll have to probably wait about 15 minutes till the new slot is released, as this place is the most visited in the city. To buy tickets online its very difficult as the website doesn't work properly.
Tomi V — Google review
Great view above the city. “The garden” is really small and not many people can sit to admire because you constantly bump into one another. Worth climbing those stairs
Cristina I — Google review
Interesting tower with the trees on top with great views of Lucca. Relatively wide stairs most of the way too (with the exception of just a few at the end) compared to many of the Tuscan towers. Worth a climb!
Rowland C — Google review
Good fun getting up all the 230 odd steps! Well worth it for the fantastic panoramic views of Lucca! Good exhibition of the artist Antonio Bueno included in the ticket price.
Stephen O — Google review
Fantastic place to visit. Not many people as Lucca feels like a place that hasn’t been discovered by tour guides. We paid to go up the Guinigi Tower and very glad we did. You have to be physically able to climb steep steps, and the top section is very narrow. If you have a larger waist it could be difficult. The views at the top were stunning, and the trees on top was a very unique thing to experience.

Guests have described it as a treat for both body and soul, with beautiful landscapes and serene surroundings. The spa center is particularly praised for its unique offerings and tranquil atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy the silence, hot water pools of varying temperatures, and greenery while being pampered by the professional and friendly staff.
I only went for the terme which was fabulous. There is a sauna a steam room and thermal waters you can relax in. You are in the midst of beautiful countryside. They produce their own wine which is extraordinary.

I’ve visited only the baths multiple times over several years and while the setting and facilities are wonderful, it can be difficult to enjoy when busy, because the majority of visitors seem to ignore the rules about not leaving personal items on deck chairs and being quiet, and none of the staff seem to enforce it(hence the three stars). As another reviewer mentioned already, the same goes with the changing rooms and visitors’ personal items occupying all of the benches making them inaccessible to anyone else who didn’t get there first. With access to lockers this is clearly unnecessary and inconsiderate towards fellow visitors.
IAF L — Google review
The most beautiful place to relax and unwind. It's not crowded, so you won’t be bumping into others in the pool. Perfect for a romantic getaway. You need to book your spot in advance, and swimming caps, towels, and slippers are required. If you don’t have them, you can purchase them on site. You can also buy local wine or jams at the reception. Excellent! :)

Just there for light lunch and 1/2 terme dip. Delicious food (though a little spendy) in a beautiful space, baths are nicely set in nature but a bit full (especially with couples), upper inside pool is warmest though not hot. Changing rooms are sweltering. Recommendation: should assign larger lockers to external patrons because they have more with them than the inn guests.

Pools are great. Lunch service is quite disorganised/slow so we skipped lunch

Its super cozy, very natural looking, dolce far niente can definitely take place here. 100% recommended for anyone who likes to relax. Its cool that they watch out that it wont get too crowded in the first place! Would visit again anytime. Been there for half a day. The sauna and steam room are great too

Excellent property. The pools were beautiful and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. All the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast were also great. The room was comfortable, quiet, and private. Overall, this was an excellent stay!

Piazza dell'Anfiteatro is a vibrant oval plaza located in Lucca, Italy, built on the site of an ancient Roman amphitheater. Surrounded by medieval houses, it now hosts charming cafes and a bustling market. The square's elliptical shape is a result of the original amphitheater's imposing structure. Throughout history, it has been a central meeting point and played a significant role in city life and politics.
Quite stunning from a Roman architecture perspective. The town on Lucca is well worth a visit and this is the centre of the town. The vendors on the amphitheater are very touristy and much better fare can be found on the side streets, as usual in Italian tourist towns.
Graham P — Google review
Really interesting to think this was once Amphitheatre. Restaurants spill out all around. But note, that during nearly the whole month of October there is a big tent rught in the center, obstructing the view. This is used for Event Comic Lucca last week of October, where 250,000 people will descend upon this city.

Quite a unique place. Oval square in the middle of the walled city of Lucca was a Roman amphitheater back in ancient times and with its destruction, houses were build on its place on the same plot, so the houses are build facing oval square. Place is accessible via 4 entrances from north, east, west and south, like all streets alignment in old Lucca since Roman times. Place is full of restaurants and bars where one can sit and drink aperol and enjoy the wonderful time in Lucca.

Sights & Landmarks
The Duomo di San Martino is an 11th-century place of worship in Lucca, Italy. It features a square bell tower, a carved medieval crucifix, and a treasury museum. The cathedral is one of the city's historical landmarks, along with well-preserved medieval walls and stately buildings like the Basilica of San Frediano. Visitors can also explore cultural highlights such as the Palazzo Pfanner and the National Museum of Villa Guinigi.
We visited late at night so we couldn't go in. However, the exterior is impressive enough to make you go closer and explore all the scenes and symbols on the walls. There's even a labyrinth etched on one of the side walls (right underneath the tower) which is said to have only one way to the centre of it and only those who keep their faith in God are able to find it.
Denitsa G — Google review
Lovely. Definitely worth the detour. Next time I definitely need to lock in a proper guide. There's so much history there. Definitely a 5 stars once the refurbishments are completed and the Volto Santo is back. So sad we missed it, but an opportunity to come back!
Art T — Google review
A cathedral with a truly impressive history - its foundation dates back nearly a thousand years! Inside, you’ll find stunning works of sculpture, painting, and stained glass by renowned Tuscan masters. For example, Giorgio Vasari called the tomb of Ilaria del Carretto one of the greatest masterpieces of 15th-century sculpture. The most breathtaking part of the cathedral is its western façade, built in the Roman-Pisan style and completely covered in sculptures and mosaics - you could spend hours admiring the details. At the entrance, you’ll also find allegorical images of the months - it's fun to look for your birth month or zodiac sign. The cathedral labyrinth - the smallest known to exist in any church - is carved into the stone of one of the entrance pillars. The Latin inscription states:“the same labyrinth built by Daedalus the Cretan, from which no one who enters can escape, except Theseus, thanks to the thread of Ariadne.“

We obtained the ticket for the bell tower the cathedral, museum and the other church with underground archaeological remains, very good value. All three sites were amazing, especially the bell tower,a lot of steps but worth it.

A must visit place in lucca. Such an amazing architecture and interior design. Fortunately the tickets were really cheap too. And inside you can see a few interesting historical object too
Akınalp F — Google review
Lucca is one of those places that doesn’t try to impress you at first glance—it quietly grows on you with its charm and authenticity. Located just a short drive from Pisa, it offers a much calmer, more genuine atmosphere. What makes Lucca truly special are its perfectly preserved medieval walls, which now serve as a leafy promenade encircling the historic center. Walking or cycling the walls provides a unique perspective of the city’s rooftops, gardens, and bell towers. Inside the walls, you’ll find a maze of narrow streets, inviting piazzas, Romanesque churches, and elegant Renaissance buildings. A standout is the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, built on the site of a Roman amphitheater—the oval shape is still clearly visible and creates a unique setting that’s both historic and intimate. Lucca is also known as the city of music (birthplace of composer Giacomo Puccini), of crafts, and of quiet cafes tucked into peaceful corners. It may not overwhelm with grandeur, but it gently captivates those who give it time. A must-visit for travelers seeking the soul of Tuscany, far from the crowds.
Martin V — Google review
Beyond its stunning Pisan-Luccan Romanesque facade, the cathedral charmed us with its Renaissance interiors and fascinating foundation excavations. The excavations were incredibly educational, taking us on a 2,100-year journey through the various layers of the Duomo's past. The lowest layer revealed a former Roman residence, while the next showed a public Roman thermae that later became a Lombard necropolis. During 400 AD the place turned to early Christian church. It definitely was a memorable visit!

"Puccini e la sua Lucca" is a captivating event that celebrates the legacy of the renowned composer Giacomo Puccini in the enchanting setting of San Giovanni church. This experience, which unfolds nightly at 7:15 PM, features an hour-long concert that immerses attendees in the beauty of opera amidst stunning historical surroundings. The church itself offers fascinating glimpses into its Roman past with mosaics and ancient foundations, making it a treasure trove for history enthusiasts.
This is an experience that should not be missed. The concert lasts about 1 hour. You can purchase a book that has the lyrics in English for 5 euro upon entry. Went twice because it was so good!

A LOVELY SURPRISE. We booked this after seeing the poster outside as we walked nearby. The concert deserved much better publicity. Having seen many amateurish ‘tourist opera’ performances in Italian cities in the past we were sceptical ( Sorrento Three Tenors was the worst )… but the standard was high and professional with a programme of all Puccini arias. The finale was the gorgeous Love Duet from Madama Butterfly. The programmes and soloists are different every night so you could have many days of pleasure. Not sure why tickets must be bought for cash ( we are in travel industry and have never struck this before ). A good night with the dedication and voice of soprano Deborah Vincenti deserving a special mention. The accompanist needs to provide more support in tone and commitment ( looked a bit ‘over it’)

Chiesa di San Michele in Foro is a remarkable 11th-century church in Lucca, known for its intricately carved facade resembling a wedding cake and featuring a panel painting by Lippi. The city of Lucca offers various attractions such as Piazza Napoleone, Domus Romana Archaeological Site, Clock Tower, and more. Visitors can also explore the local culture, dining options, shopping spots, and nightlife.
The Chiesa di San Michele in Foro, located in the heart of Lucca, Italy, is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture with its intricately detailed façade and towering statue of the Archangel Michael. The church's marble exterior is a masterpiece, adorned with ornate carvings and columns, each uniquely designed. Inside, the atmosphere is serene, with beautiful artwork and a sense of timeless spirituality. While the interior is more understated compared to the elaborate exterior, it still offers a quiet beauty and historical charm. A visit to San Michele in Foro is a must for art and history enthusiasts exploring Lucca.
Mansour Z — Google review
The outside of the church is framed by stunning marble columns and reliefs. Inside, everything seems simple, if you don't know one interesting secret- there are intriguing hand-drawn animal figures on some of the columns. These drawings are examples of medieval graffiti, created by pilgrims, clergy, or local visitors during the Middle Ages. Such graffiti often included ships, cities, and animals, reflecting personal experiences, devotional expressions, or observations of daily life. They serve as a testament to the human connection and continuity within sacred spaces across generations.

After seeing it the second time, it is still just as cool as the first. It is leaning for sure and it is a beautiful building. Crazy to see the "adjustment" they made on the middle floors if you look close enough. Still hate the fact that nobody follows the rules about staying off grass and people standing inside the no go zone for their pictures. Everyone is more important than anyone else. And unless you live within walking distance leave your dog at home.
Jason C — Google review
Most beautiful church in Lucca specially for its façade from 14th century with large sculptures and inlays, as the church itself is much older. Church is dedicated to Archangel Michael which 4m high statue is on the top of the main façade between two other angels. "In Foro" means that it was build over Roman Forum. church inside is a basilica type one with less decoration, and there is an organ. Under the altar there is a mummified body of pilgrim San Divino Armeno that died 1050, oldest known mummified saint in Italy. Entrance is free.

This is so gorgeous, spectacular! The external is super nice. Captivating and worth all photo taking. It is free to enter and visit. You would find the interior less spectacular but it has its charm. Definitely a visit. You can also enjoy the building for some food or drinks or dessert just near the place.

Mura di Lucca, also known as Lucca City Walls, encircle the historic center of Lucca, Italy. These Renaissance-era fortifications have been repurposed into a scenic pedestrian promenade and bicycle path adorned with gardens and panoramic viewpoints. The gates of the walls, some dating back to the 16th century, offer entry points into the city and provide a glimpse into its historical security framework.
It is such an interesting city wall. There is a road with many trees at sides on top of it. You can walk there. And I really recommend taking a sort walk.
Akınalp F — Google review
Very unique place of the walled city of Lucca. Its almost whole round walkable on the top of the walls or street inside the walls. Plenty of trees, walkways are suitable for jogging and fitness exercises and walking of the locals. very calm green place. From the walls you can see the old city and also outside, small water channels under the wall. All around are about 11 bastions and couple of gates to the city. The wall is 4 km long and is among the best preserved Renaissance fortifications in Europe, and the second largest intact example of a fully walled Renaissance city after Nicosia on Cyprus.
Tomi V — Google review
A short walk...even with your roller bag...from the train station to the walls of Lucca. I always get a smile when the gate comes into view. The walled city of Lucca still holds plenty of lore with its many restaurants and merchants. This trip we stayed at the Grand Universe right in the center of Lucca so we could be immersed in the city culture and people.
Traveling G — Google review
We used the ramp at Porta di San Pietro to take a one-hour stroll anticlockwise along the wall. The views of the old city on one side and of the Lucca hills and Apuan Alps on the other are charming and inspiring. Due to lack of time we were not able to walk the entire length (4.4 km) of the wall, but the segment we did, was organized as a usual public park. The park would benefit of informative panels that could provide visitors with historical context and details on the surrounding area.
Horia B — Google review

My favourite part of our visit to Lucca was the Mura di Lucca. An absolutely brilliant use of the city wall by having a multipurpose recreational trail on top of the wall! Paved for walking and wheeling, the many ramps give ready access for users. The bulwarks of the wall have parks, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Several museums and the Botanical gardens are accessed from the trail. The Mura also has several gates as well as pedestrian tunnels. Stunning views of the hills surrounding Lucca. Worth a saunter!

It was a great experience! My gym buddy and I had a blast and mastered all the trails. The Sanctuary of Montenero, also known as the Sanctuary of Lady of Grace, is a religious complex located on a hill in Livorno. It was built in the 18th century and is a popular pilgrimage destination due to its revered Madonna image. The sanctuary features an impressive church with late Tuscan Baroque architecture and an altar designed by Giovanni Baratta and Giovanni Antonio Cybei.

Most impressive location with great view and many tokens of Catholic devotion. The church is located on top of a hill with a great view and inside you find a huge collection (over 12.000!) of tokens. Even if the religious part is not your thing, it's still worth a visit for the great view and the short trip by cableway.

this is a beautiful monastery located in the hilltops above Livorno. It’s a short bus ride make sure the bus that you take is clearly marked Montenero because initially I took the one that went to the beach and so I had to take the different bus and I lost a half hour of time but no big deal still totally worth it. it’s about 45 minutes from the train station in Livorno. the views are beautiful especially on a clear day. And it has a electrically powered cable car system really it’s a funicular that continuously runs probably until about six PM and so make sure you check the timetables and don’t forget to validate your tickets on all the buses

Stefano and his colleague, whose name I unfortunately don’t know, provided excellent service! I waited about 20 minutes because there were other people ahead of me, but now that I know how great it is, I would gladly wait much longer! I went alone and paid only €10 for an umbrella, one sun lounger, and three chairs! I went out for lunch at 3 PM and came back at 4 PM, no problem at all! The locker cost €4 for the whole day, and I can go back to it as many times as I want — it works with our own fingerprint. Amazing! Highly recommend. A million stars! Thank you!

You gonna come here and you will immediately meet owners. They are gonna greet you like they know you for ages. You gonna feel something very strange: feeling that you belong here, that they have been waiting for you. Even if you sad, their faces will make you immediately smile and they will fulfill your day. Absolutely incredible service, bathing place, toilets and everything else. I will come back here every single time i am in Viareggio. Bars with food and drinks are there as well. Thank you!

Such a great beach! It was very cheap for 2 people compared to other places, and Stefano was super kind and charming. Would definitely come back!

Bar "La Terrazza Mascagni" is a stunning and atmospheric place that offers not only delicious food but also a modern art experience. The restaurant provides a spectacular view of the Terrazza Mascagni and the sea, making it an ideal spot for special occasions. Guests can enjoy great cuisine, delicious cocktails, and raw seafood while taking in the beautiful scenery.
This is my favorite bar in Italy! The owners are always so nice and welcoming. Their drinks and food are great tasting and great prices too. The atmosphere is relaxing and helps you appreciate the true beauty of Italy with the ocean view. A couple people play beautiful piano several days a week and my husband and I always love enjoying our drinks while listening. They also display beautiful local art pieces. Thank you to Giovanna and her husband for their amazing hospitality.

This is a beautiful atmospheric place that will please lovers not only of delicious food, but also of modern art. There is great cuisine and delicious cocktails. For little money you will get a delicious dinner, a great drink, wonderful acquaintances and a creative atmosphere. We were happy to come here every day during our vacation in Livorno.

Wonderful little bar with a great atmosphere and friendly service from the staff. A couple of people were playing music on the piano and guitar inside, a lovely environment to sit in the sun next to the water and enjoy a drink.

Only in for a beer, but the atmosphere left us sitting there for a few more. Cosy and artistic. A couple were entertaining on the piano, and a singer with a great voice. With the lady owner on the saxophone. Just great.

Absolutely love this place. They always treat my sister, sister in law, my niece, and myself with such respect and kindness when we come out here. Whether we come out here together or separately, it’s always the same politeness from the staff. 12/10 service and atmosphere, the food is good as well. If you’re American or traveling from outside of here, or if you even live here, I highly recommend stopping by here 🫶🏼

By far the best experience in Livorno and there were many. This bar is situated next to The Grand Hotel on the sea front. Never the same experience with musicians and artist all visiting to set the vibe with the owners many available musical instruments being loaned to all. We concluded every day of our visit here and met some wonderful people especially the owners. A true treasure of Livorno.

Sunset Versilia - Wine Bar & Restaurant

$$$$affordable
Cafe
Nestled at the end of the public wharf, Sunset Versilia - Wine Bar & Restaurant offers a unique experience that sets it apart from other spots in Camaiore. With stunning vistas of the Mediterranean Sea and the majestic Apuan Alps, this venue is perfect for those seeking a refreshing escape from the summer heat, thanks to its pleasant breeze. The attentive service enhances your visit as you indulge in delicious food that surpasses many local options.
Nice strong cocktails with an amazing view. You get a plate of finger food for each cocktail (about €10 for the drink and food). Wonderful spot where you can sit in the sun or shade. They also have bigger meals and a toilet which you'll need after your multiple drinks.

A great spot to find a good drink and a great view. We got a Pina Colada fragola and it tasted great. Plus the addition of the included bar snacks made this a relaxing and enjoyable rest stop on our beach trip. Would recommend everyone give Sunset Versilla a try.

Breathtaking views with sunset. Good food and very kind people. Definitely recommend.

At the end of the public wharf - Sunset has what most other Camaiore locations lack - a beautiful view of the Med and of the Apuan Alps behind you. To boot, it has a cool constant breeze in the August heat. Server attitude was exceptional. Food was better than most places around here. I highly recommend it for a very pleasant relaxing experience.

Really good seafood and cocktails with a great view! Seafood restaurant that serves fresh fish for that day and doesn’t have a menu for lunch. Only downside are the prices are the highest I’ve paid in Italy! Paid around €50 for two mains and two aperol spritz.
