Long shallow backdrop, ideal for children. Crystal clear waters, with a thousand shades from light blue to green Elba. At the ends of the beach there are excellent rocks for snorkeling activities.there is also some stone while in the eastern part it slopes very slowly and is only made of very fine sand.

Nice sandy beach in Lacona. In the morning very crowded and noisy. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby so you don't have to search far to find a place to eat.
We didn't find showers, unless in paid service area.
The beach is very cool but the guys operating the blue umbrellas are a bit shifty. We had been coming for almost two weeks, renting two sun chairs and the umbrella for 30€ a day. Suddenly one day they tell us our kids are too big all of a sudden and we need to rent one sunchair more. Funny thing is our two elder daughters (16 and 14 years old) are the same size but apparently only one extra chair was needed. Such greed is a pity.
Lovely beach, busy with lots of families, so don't expect a quiet escape. Good bars and food near by. Parking is an issue, so ensure you get there at a good time
Nice sand beach with shallow waters. The beach can get crowded, so we set up our towels in an area with pine trees immediately behind - more space plus shadow! Parking fees are acceptable (6 EUR/day).
Sandy long beach, very crowded. Not the most beautiful on the island, but tastes differ of course. Very popular for families with kids. Minus stars for the lack of infrastructure for such a wide central beach, parking is limited, no showers. Walked the beach back and forth in search of public toilets, haven't found any. Googled it...haven't found any..or they must be really well hidden. Asked some beach workers, the answer was to use the bars toilets. I wonder how families with kids manage such situation. This is basic beach infrastructure to have a public toilet, and a couple of showers..
Big sandy beach with shallow warm, and not so clean waters. Perfect for kids. Avoid if you can’t handle crowds and thousands of umbrellas..

We loved it! The whole family had a blast!
We went there on a Friday and waiting times for the rides were not long at all.
What we love:
✅ The park itself is not too big that it’s overwhelming
✅ Different rides for different age of kids
✅There are picnic areas so you can eat your self brought foods
✅There are many trees in the park, so you always have some shady areas to sit
✅Staff was always friendly
✅The shows they offer were entertaining
There are also booths for you to buy food from Mexican tacos to French fries.
We spent there the whole day and it was totally worth the money. We can totally recommend it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

A fantastic amusement park for both younger and older children, suitable for all age groups including adults. Everyone will have lots of fun here. The park is large, so you can easily spend the whole day there. The entrance fee is quite reasonable considering everything the park offers.
There are many attractions, each with specific entry rules based on the child's height or age. The park is set in a pine forest, which provides plenty of shaded areas for resting away from the sun.
There are also many food stalls, making it an ideal place to spend time with kids. Free parking is available just a few meters from the main entrance to the park.

Cavallino Matto is a surprisingly fun amusement park. Beyond exciting rides like Freestyle and Jurassic river, its true charm lies in its beautiful pine forest setting, offering refreshing shade and a unique natural ambiance. It's a delightful blend of thrills and nature. Great for families.
Great little theme park, lots of rides for younger children but a few good thrill rides too. Almost no queues for virtually every ride makes the whole experience so much better than most theme parks and the staff generally very friendly as well.
The setting amongst lots of trees makes it look good as well as providing lots of shade in hot weather.
A great place to have fun with your family. We visit the park every summer and spend the whole day there.
The staff at the ticket office were absolutely wonderful, making our arrival smooth and enjoyable. They were incredibly efficient, getting everyone through quickly even during a busy period, and answered all our questions with a smile. We really appreciated their excellent customer service and positive energy.
There are a lot of rides and entertainment to choose from. The Jurassic River ride is spectacular! We also appreciated the picnic area and the alley with the misting system, which made us feel so refreshed on ascorching summer day.
Super friendly staff, nice set of diverse rides especially for smaller kids. It's great that the area is full of trees so there's always enough shade during hot weather. We experienced almost no waiting time for every attraction we tried. (Summer high season, but during a workday)
There’s nothing like italian theme parks, another one we were blown away by. We came with a 2 year old and even for him, there were so many rides and activities to enjoy. Great great experience, highly recommend, if you have a chance to go.
Great for young kids and families. Loads of rides of different intensity but hardly any queues in October. A couple of shows. Recommend bringing your own food and leaving it in the picnic area. No-one will touch it and you'll save a ton of money. The only water fountain with drinkable water is near the entrance so plan to go back there a few times during the day.

The Roman Theatre in Volterra is a truly impressive spot to visit. Even without knowing much about history, you can feel the atmosphere of the place when standing among the ruins and looking at the old stone seats and stage area. The setting is quiet, scenic, and gives you a sense of stepping back in time. It’s one of those places where you can slow down, take in the view, and imagine what life here was like centuries ago. Definitely a highlight when exploring Volterra and worth including in your visit.
Amazing town , this is my 3rd time back and loving it. So underrated and is free of Insta crowds. Refreshing and cute , best of hand made Etruscan pieces and alabaster.
€23 to see some ruins is a joke. You can have a better view from the wall above it and that view is free of charge. I have recently visited an ancient Greek amphitheatre in Taormina for €14. That is a much better preserved site for less.

Don’t buy a ticket from the top you can see as much or even more then if you would buy a ticket.

Stunning ruins of a very important abbey situated in a gorgeous landscape. A silent experience that combines nature and architecture to really create a spiritual experience even if you aren’t very religious. The ruins tower over you so that you can really feel the size of this once glorious community.
Open air 13th Century Abbey just outside of Siena. If this is something you’re into and enjoy – very much worth a visit. Looks spectacular from the outside and magical from the inside. Certainly unique. If you are not into architecture, historical buildings or church history, this is probably not for you. There is little explanation of the place once you’re there, so you need to ideally already be a fan or interested. Also visit the Chapel on the hill whilst you're in the area
There was an art exhibit when we were there which were really great to take photos. We had leave early because of a funeral.
Speechless spiritual place, knowing this place from Andrei Tarkovsky’s ‘Nostalgia’, as a metaphor of the protagonist’s memory and religious experience. No photos or documentaries can compare to being here personally, even if it might be an arduous trip for visitors without a car…

If you are visiting the Abbey, certainly go and see the Chapel. It’s on top of a hill with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside. Has free entry – with lots of things to look at. It’s small so only takes 10 mins to look round. Has a small shop to the side and people working there who seem proud of the place. Not worth coming specially, but take a look if in the area. Also free entry.
A nice peaceful place to visit. There is a large free parking lot which is a 10 min walk away. From the Abbey there is a steep amd rocky trail leading up to the church (shorter and more scenic than walking back around via the road) where you can enter for free and see the sword in the rock. From there you can complete the loop on the road back to the parking lot.

A very atmospheric place. We arrived around 11:00 on Saturday - there were not so many people. The parking nearby is gigantic, so shouldn’t be an issue even when it’s busy.
This is a lovely visit. How often do you get to see the sword in the stone? We had a lot of fun here and it was well worth going out of the way to see this.

Beautiful sandy beach that spans a huge distance. Water and sand quality is very nice. There is sometimes debris from the trees and algae but if you walk a little bit you can definitely find spots that are clean.

This public beach is very busy so it is best to get there early.
Lovely, long sandy beach. Early in the morning was super to walk. Later in the morning it filled up pretty full even for late June. I found a nice hill with a breeze to hang my hammock and enjoyed watching over the crowded super-hot sand.

Public parking is about 15min walk from the beach.
The eastern public beach is far away from the expectations of a wild beach.
I guess there's another specific access to the untamed areas of the beach. Navigation apps couldn't suggest anything a car can reach.

Nice long beach. You may want to walk in the woods and then cut back along the beach. A couple of bars and a pay car park. Good shallow area for kids.
Rent a bike and go explore. You can find some quite beautiful beaches. Worth cycling

A splendid cathedral, richly decorated inside. We hadn't bought tickets online, but lined up outside to buy tickets. The view of the cathedral from the square outside is fantastic. But what set it apart for us was the inside. The floors are covered in inlaid marble (I believe some of it is usually covered, but it wasn't when we were there), and there are many other fantastic pieces of art. Don't miss the small library to the side, also fantastic.
Afterwards we spent some time in the gift shop - it is pretty good.
A beautiful cathedral with beautiful artwork. It was reasonably old and had a bit of history to it as well. Tickets to see the cathedral was roughly 5 euros, but even the most expensive ticket to the museum, cathedral, and baptistry was the price of admission of a church in Florence, and was definitely reasonably priced.
The biggest thing is that if you come from the town square, you will see the baptistry first, which is NOT where the ticket office or the cathedral is, and you need to climb either the stairs or get to the cathedral's square.
Overall, was definitely worth seeing and was worth the day trip I took from Florence to see it.
A fabulous experience! Make sure though, that if you’re booking tickets in advance you are doing it for the one on SIENA, not FIRENZE. They look similar, but are in fact different. We got to go into the cathedral, museum (with the panoramic view), crypt, and baptistery. All very beautiful.

You look at this cathedral and the details of its construction and you wonder, how did they do this 800 years ago? (the cathedral was built in 1215). You definitely have to visit this cathedral. The entrance fee is €8 per person, but it's well worth it. The interior of this cathedral is something unimaginable.
Really just to say that I agree with the great majority of reviewers: Siena Cathedral is absolutely worth visiting. It looks great from the outside, perched on its hill, but the interior is even more impressive, with black and white stripes throughout. The ticket queue was quite long, so if you know ahead of time when you will be going it would make sense to book ahead.

There are so many different sculptures to see, including sound works and interactive areas you can go into. There is no bus from capalbio station and we weren’t able to get a taxi so call ahead to book if you plan on taking the train.

It was a singular place, very different from all the castles and renaissance art you may have been seeing in Italy . The garden is the creation of one artist and her vivid imagination. The sculptures are fantastic. It is a small-ish place, so you can go relax and have a good visit among these sculptures or take a 1 hour passegiatta to see them all… we had a good time walking about and taking pictures! Enjoy!
The Tarot Garden in Capalbio is a nice and magical place. The huge mosaic sculptures are full of color and character. Every corner has something surprising. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
I have waited so long to visit this place and it was so worth it! Such an amazing and inspiring place. At the entrance there are some maps where there are the names of the sculptures. My children enjoyed finding them all and they loved it.

Incredible wine tasting experience with Sergio. Historic church. Great 5 mile hike loop. Take coins for parking (2 euros per hour). With Casisano winery along the way. Definitely stop in if they are available for a tasting.
Lovely quiet area and nice olive trees but the whole visit was a disappointment because of the lady in the shop. She was very unpolite and as soon as I stepped inside the small shop she told me the shop will close in 2 minutes. It was 17.54. 🙄 I thought the whole place was open until 18.30. The abbey had a mass so we didn’t enter into it. The smell that came from that small shop was so good so it was a pity that I couldn’t buy anything.

We've come here for at least 20 years. In the beginning there were almost no tourists.
Now the way down is paved, paid parking and there even is a shop at the top of the hill.....

The Abbey, a jewel of medieval mysticism. It is one of the most beautiful monuments in an ancient Roman style, which also has elements of the French and Lombardy styles.
Legend has it that the abbey was founded by Charles the Great in 781. The king and his army stopped here on the way back from Rome as the soldiers were afflicted by an unknown pestilence. An angel appeared to Charlemagne, telling him to make his men drink an infusion with a local herb. The cure worked and the army was saved so the king decided to build the church in gratitude.

A visit to the Cascate del Mulino is a beautiful experience. There's a mythological tale that claims the thermal waters were created to make humans more meek and less aggressive. While the water wasn't as warm as I had expected, the stunning scenery makes up for it. The best part is that entry to the pools is free. There's also a cafe right next to the pools where you can use the restroom.
What a great experience in the Cascate del Mulino hot springs. We being there in the middle of September, the water was very pleasant (warm bath temperature), no ants or other insects in the water as I read in other reviews, I guess it is seasonal. The water had a distinct smell, perhaps hydrogen sulfide that commonly found in natural hot springs. The springs located just a 10 minutes walk from a public parking, with hourly pay 3 euros, there was a plenty of space around 1pm. Admission to hot springs is free
Very unique experience; to watch the view of Tuscany valley while resting in hot water as if you are in a open air Spa :) but natural. Also thanks to staff for kind service at the facility. This place was an absolute highligh of our vacation. I love the less traditional activities. What makes this place interesting is that you can find the cascades in the middle of a nature, it's completely free, you only pay for parking and water has according to google 37.5°C. You only pay for parking from 8am to 8pm. The water smells a little bit like sulphur, but nothing horrible. First, I was afraid what is inside of water but there are small round rocks and it's not slippery at all. It's opened nonstop and you get the best experience if you come early at the morning or if you stay after sunset when outside is colder so you can enjoy the warm water (we tried both). There is no place for changing but there is a restaurant nearby with toilettes. We saw many people coming in their bathrobes! That was cool. The best is probably to stay in an accomodation nearby and change at your room.
Amazing free hot springs, open 24 hours. I recommend coming early in the morning or at night to avoid crowds, but even when it’s busy the place is still great. Parking is about 300 meters away and paid from 8 AM to 8 PM.
Fantastic spot. Great to lounge in the pools above the falls. Fantastic to slide down the falls and wade down the canyon but bring a rope to help you climb back out as there is NOT a permanent one there for everyone to use. You will be stuck down there if you don’t have a rope

A glimpse to the past.
A museum that contains a real jewish experience from the past days of the local jewish community. The entrance costs 5€ and you get an entrance (self guided) for ancient winery, butchery, forno, synagauge etc. Nearby there is also a convenient store with few kosher products.

What a treasure! I definitely recommend this amazing museum. It probably hosts the richest collection of Etruscan art. You will dig into the past discovering their cults and their skills in working metals and rocks. The ticket (combined with the tombs is only 10 euros). The beautiful building of the museum is itself worth the price of the visit.
I am not giving 5 stars because unluckily, the pieces at the museum are not well displayed. The narrative during the visit and the descriptions of the objects are missing. But worst of all, I didn’t see any indications in English. I’m saying this as an Italian, sorry but this is not acceptable in 2021!
Very good museum fast and easy. With a lot of context and informations and it shows a lot of exemples. Only big problem, there is too little of English traductions, most of it is in Italian which makes it hard to understand the history of the Étrusques without knowing Italian.
One of my favorite museums in Italy. It features a very large collection of Etruscan and Roman sarcophagi and funeral objects. Don't miss it!

This museum has a lot of finds of Etruscan civilians. It also has some greek vases. The informations are clear and it has more than one floors with expositions. It's very complete.
The artefacts are wonderful, however too little info in English, very little explanation of details in English, quite expensive.

The Necropolis of Tarquinia, also known as the Necropolis of Tarquinia di Monterozzi, is a significant archaeological complex and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features Etruscan tombs adorned with vibrant paintings depicting human figures and animals. The site, dating back to the 9th century BC and expanding from the 7th century BC, spans 20 hectares in Cerveteri.
That's a very interesting archaelogical site. The visit takes two hours as we saw all the tombs' chambers with their decoration. On the tombs' walls there are also paintings of fighting animals, banquet scenes, flowers and fruits.
The price of the ticket is not expensive, considering that it also includes the visit to the Tarquinia Museum.

Unfortunately, around 3/4 of the site and around 2/3 of the most famous tombs (including the most famous, of the Leopards) are under renovation for “at least” more 6 months and currently not accessible. I did not find this information anywhere before driving here.
Wonderful archeological site. This was the second time I took our children here and It went really well. Children really like to check every tomb, go down the stairs, push the button that turns the light on and admire the paintings. The only thing is that this time the bar was closed but drinking water was available at the entrance.

The place is worth visiting. A green hill overlooking the fields outside the city. Filled with well preserved chambers/ tombs what are dug into the ground and "visitable".
The admission which normally is just €8 for adults, was free on the 1st sunday of the month.
Signs tell in italian and english the story behind each of the persons to which the tombs are devoted to.
The simple architecture of the place, the scenery and the fact that a lot of work has been put in place to make this visitor friendly even for everyone make it certainly worth your time.

I was surprised with this place! We came here with zero expexctations and left happy! Great little fortress with amazing views at the lake. Perfect for a short visit with a child of 6 who is crazy about castles. We loved it!
And oh, they had an open air movie theater inside. Too bad the movies in English are not shown every day.
Very fun and interesting. Might be very boring for young kids. Long walks and steep stairs, but still do-able. There was a really weird "projector room" that i thought was funny. Overall good visit. I suggest going into that projector room behind the black doors if you can. Also some cool(some weird) art.
Lovely castle/hill top village. Great views in good weather and museums to hide if it rains, lots of little shops if you want to buy locally made pieces and if you get hungry there is a great selection of bars/restaurants with authentic dishes from locality.
Although there aren't many informational postings in the rocca del leone, the views and level of access is amazing. You can explore the walls and towers and be treated to amazing views of the Trasimeno area. A visit is highly recommended if you are in the area--just be prepared for it to be a bit chillier/windier up top than it is in town.

The Orvieto Cathedral is truly impressive. Its location on top of the hill structure naturally provides it with a well-protected position. The most striking feature is the exterior, where the gold-painted facade beautifully catches the sunset light. Inside, the sculptures and the overall aesthetic of the interior make for a very pleasant and rewarding visit.
As the most famous attraction in the city, this church is magnificent and rich in historical value. Legend has it that Michelangelo visited it in his youth to draw inspiration, which shows how profound its artistic value is. The church itself is not as magnificent as other churches in Rome, but the sculptures here convey the people's worship and longing for the church at that time. If you have enough time, I recommend purchasing a ticket to visit the underground city. Unfortunately, we arrived early this time and the guided tour had not yet started. I believe I will definitely visit the underground city next time I visit!
It's a massive Cathedral. The experience is amazing. It is as much a gallery of art as a place of worship. So as a mark of respect don't use camera inside the Cathedral.
For tourists, take a train from Rome, or Florence to Orvieto. Then the Funicular to the top of the hill.
There's a small fort and a underground place also for visitors.

The Duomo in Orvieto is one of the most beautiful churches I’ve visited in Italy. The outside is stunning — the front is full of detailed mosaics, sculptures, and gold decorations that shine in the sunlight. The walls are made of black and white stone in stripes, which makes it look very unique compared to other cathedrals.
Inside, the cathedral is peaceful and full of history. The most impressive part is the Chapel of San Brizio, where you can see amazing frescoes by Luca Signorelli. These paintings show scenes from the Last Judgment and the Apocalypse, and the emotion and detail in the faces are incredible. It’s hard to believe they were painted over 500 years ago.
Another highlight is the crypt, which many visitors miss. It’s small but very interesting, with ancient frescoes, old tombs, and Christian symbols. It feels like a hidden part of the cathedral that connects you to a much older time.
Overall, the Duomo is not just beautiful — it also tells many stories through its art and structure. If you’re in Orvieto, don’t miss it. It’s a perfect mix of architecture, art, and history in one place.

Pozzo di San Patrizio, also known as St. Patrick's Well, is a must-see attraction in Orvieto. This 16th-century circular well features a remarkable 248-step spiral staircase for descending into its depths and ascending back up. Legend has it that the well's design was inspired by a cavity where Saint Patrick retreated for prayer, with rumors of access to Purgatory and even glimpses of Paradise.
My experience was super 😎 cool! It is 53 meters down(that's about 150 ft)and there are a lot, lot of steps! To add to that, there are 70 windows that lead light into the well. Even cooler is that some of the windows are covered in moss. The water (well) is dedicated to Saint Patrick. (by James)
The steps are a double helix, enabling mules with water bags to descend, and then ascend the other stairs with full bags of water for the town. The well was built in 1527.

Fun experience! Something unique to Orvieto and highly recommended. The history of the well is very interesting and it was revolutionary for its time. However, not for those with mobility issues. Yes, there are some railings, but the stairs are slick and uneven. Also, maybe not if you have breathing issues. It was very humid, my hair doubled in size! Lol Great exercise!
Really cool to see! The steps could be an issue for someone in less than ideal shape, but my husband and I made it to the bottom and back up (with a stop to take pictures at the bottom) in less than 10 minutes. Ticket purchase at the office was quick and easy.
Loved the walk down and UP the stairs. Walked it with my 7 year old daughter and she made it up and down easy enough. Not at all claustrophobic (even though it thought it might be). Fun thing to do takes about 30mins. Worth the entry fe.

The Historical Secret
Built in the 16th century (1527-1537), this Italian well's history is rooted in crisis. Following the Sack of Rome (1527), Pope Clement VII sought refuge in Orvieto and commissioned architect Antonio da Sangallo the Younger to ensure the city had water during a siege. Sangallo's brilliant solution was the double spiral staircase, allowing continuous, non-crossing traffic for water-carrying mules. Originally Pozzo della Rocca, it was renamed Pozzo di San Patrizio because its depth evoked the Irish legend of St. Patrick’s Purgatory. The well's purpose is captured by the Latin inscription: QUOD NATURA MUNIMENTO INVIDERAT INDUSTRIA ADIECIT (What nature grudged for defence, industry has supplied).
Quite a unique place to see a medieval well where you walk through a double helix to get to the bottom of the well and then back up. Worth a visit if you can do the walk
Once you are in, you have to commit to finish the walk. There are no shortcuts to exit.
Great attraction. I was skeptical at first, because of my claustrophobia, but it turned out to not be a problem as the stairwell is quite wide. I really recommend

The real highlight here is the breathtaking garden rooms, each with its own unique design and layout, perfectly integrated with the natural landscape. The water features are truly spectacular—flowing fountains, cascades, and carefully designed waterworks create a sense of harmony and elegance. The Fountain of the Moors and the famous water chain that runs down the terraces are particularly mesmerizing.

The garden is on constructions..
It's not that clean and organized that we were expected it to be..
You have a really big potential to be an amazing place that's for now it's not like that..
We waited about half an hour to get in it because it was really windy day and they decided to open it on time.
It is still being renovated and only one fountain is working but the expected time of completion is May 2026 so, for now, the tickets have been reduced to 5 euro
Has real potential but the majority is closed for renovation which is why the ticket is reduced to 5 euros. The contractors have fenced off the majority of the garden so our visit was short. I would suggest managing expectations vs the historic photos you see. You may want to wait until the work is completed before visiting. Once the work is done I’m sure it will be fantastic

Such a romantic garden! Admire how the fountains were arranged and manipulated to creat a beautiful landscape. The garden is not massive so it gives a very intimate and quiet atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit in late afternoon to take advantage of the softened sunlight.
Even one star is too much. Almost everything here is closed off, but they still charge you 5€ for admission. We asked at the entrance if what was left to see was wheelchair accessible. They said that the gardens were and the buildings ground floor. A bad joke. You can't even get into the two remaining open rooms or the last open plateau in the garden, with the last water fountain. We were really looking forward to the villa, since very little in Italy is wheelchair accessible anyway. I’m just sad and disappointed.
During my recent trip to the charming town of Viterbo, I had the pleasure of exploring the renowned Renaissance garden of Villa Lante in Bagnaia. Covering an area of approximately four hectares, the garden is spread across three main terraces and is considered one of the most famous Renaissance gardens in the world.
The garden's most notable feature is its unique "prospect garden" design, which creates an illusion of depth and perspective through the strategic use of fountains, water features, and architectural elements. Walking through the garden, I couldn't help but be struck by the stunning beauty of the meticulously manicured hedges, colorful flower beds, and intricate stonework.
As I made my way through the garden's winding paths and hidden corners, I discovered a variety of fascinating features and surprises, including hidden grottos, whimsical sculptures, and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It was easy to see why Villa Lante is one of the most visited attractions in Tuscia, with approximately 85,000 visitors per year.
Overall, my visit to Villa Lante was a truly unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Viterbo. Whether you are an art lover, a history buff, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of nature, the garden's stunning design, intricate details, and serene ambiance are sure to leave you spellbound.

Great place for a nice walk/hike in a weird historical park. Great for children too. Free entry for children under 4. Not touristy which is a plus!

We really enjoyed our visit. Amazing sculpture work. To see the handmade works and chisel marks. The restaurant was nice, we got the steak. Very nice and very reasonable prices. There is also a cafe. Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely loved every inch of this place, and well worth the admission price. A wonderful place to bring kids, and the restaurant served us the most beautiful Fillet Steak we have had in a long time. Definitely worth a trip.
Absolutely incredible! We ditched seeing Vatican City after a long road trip across Italy, found the poster on the side of the highway and decided to drop in.

I really liked this exhibition, the statues were huge and mesmerizing! The tilted building was also fun! The price (13€) was a bit overpriced for the size of the park, but still I would recommend it!
Such a magical place. Its surrealist stone sculpture garden. We were there in Jan but would have been great to be in warmer weather since its located in hilly landscape with streams and grass area. We spent about 1 hr walk around. Its easy terrain for slow walk but different elevation makes the park interesting. Love the face entryway, elephant sculpture and leaning building. Will definitely watch the movie where the entire movie scene was shoot in this park.
My husband and I brought our 4 kids on a Sunday. It was great, really beautiful and interesting, and there is a picnic area as well as a playground, both are excellent features, however, it is a small park and costs a family of 6 (with 4 children aged 13 and younger) 58 euros. There is no family rate. Furthermore, according to the website this will increase in January 2026. Would I recommend, yes. Do I think it was overpriced, yes, if you just walk through and dont spend time there. However, if you spend the entire day there it seems a better price :) also no refunds for bad weather.
Small restored quirky garden of bizarre statues commissioned by a middle ages count who was a little off his rocker. Worth a side trip but a little costly.
