As we had read online, it was an aquarium where you would not have walked for too long. Despite that, we had a great time and enjoyed all the fish we saw. As adults and the kind of person of watch and move on, you would be done very quick. If you are someone who likes to watch a little longer, you will certainly last longer. We are the type of people who watch calm and keep going, so we enjoyed ourselves there for about 45 minutes to an hour.
I definitely recommend stopping by if you like watching fish. You can also take pictures. We went on a weekday and then it is relatively quiet, if there aren't any holidays. This also allowed us to watch quietly and were not constantly "disturbed" by people who also wanted to look at the same place at the same time.
At first we also wanted to eat something there, but we soon found out that it is relatively expensive to eat there so we decided to look for it somewhere else.
Had an amazing time! It’s a bit smaller than I expected but the tanks were clean and had a lot of beautiful and amazing looking animals too. I did buy tickets online, it was definitely something fun to do with children or on a slow afternoon or even a date night out. Even stopped and got a stuffed animal to remember the time from.
This was honestly such a beautiful and surreal experience. There were many exotic animals that I’ve never seen or heard of before and it was super cool getting to learn about them! There were two aquatic tunnels and I was mesmerized by the sea life that surrounded me, such as stingrays and sharks, and other giant creatures. There is also a koi fish feeding stations that you all NEED to try out. You have to pay 4 euros to get a bottle of (well, whatever they eat idk) but it’s worth it!!! It was such a fun experience and it was so cute to see the koi fish enjoy their meal. My cafe experience was a bit disappointing because I ordered an iced matcha latte but it was so diluted you could barely taste the matcha…so don’t waste your money getting that :/ Anyway, the shop they had at the end had great variety in souvenirs and I got a jelly fish plushie and a key chain!!! I recommend going here, whether you’re a kid or an adult, this aquarium has something for all to see! 🐠🌊🐬🦀
Excellent aquarium. I especially loved the conveyor belt rides through the aquarium tank tunnels. It was really nice to be able to stand front row and just watch fish, sharks, rays, and eels swim by without feeling like you were in anyone's way.

Best Aquarium in the World
Probably one of the best Aquarium in the world. My kids love this place and so do I. It is first a very grand Aquarium in comparison to other, just by its sheer size. Then they took seriously the educational side of things. So everywhere you have lots of information, etc. This is a must do in Barcelona!
A nice aquarium with quite many species of fish and aquatic life. There are also some interactive games for kids (and not only). Clean place with friendly staff. I believe it is a bit overpriced.

Came here at dawn so we didn't touch the sea nor there was much crowd. The atmosphere was calm and the air fresh. A perfect place to watch sunrise from the middle of the ocean, they built some convenient decks to do so.

Very big crowd, no sunbeds, you have to watch out for pickpockets and thieves, not my style unfortunately. The beach has fine sand, which is great, and the water is also beautiful, regardless of the fact that it is a city beach and that the port is not far away.

be ware of a guy selling coconuts - he kept coming back to us and started a conversation each time, he seemed friendly at first but got aggressive when we kept declining his coconuts
The boardwalk was very nice with people running, biking, or just strolling around. They had public restrooms, and restaurants underneath the boardwalk. The water was calm with very few swimmers since it was October and a chill was in the air. They had exercise equipment on a cement pad on the beach which was interesting. The industrial and boat activity so close by was not appealing to us. However, it was a nice walk.

One of Barcelona’s most iconic and energetic spots. Unfortunately, we are. Unfortunately, we visited off-season, so swimming and sunbathing weren’t possible, but it was still a lovely place for a walk and to enjoy the sea view.
Visited in Nov... amazing that it was warm enough to be there in shorts and t shirt. A beach is great to have in a city but Mexican Riviera and Hawaii beaches are way way better! The first two pictures are of Mexico and Hawaii... barcelona is the 3rd

Palau Güell is an ornate modernist mansion located in the Ravel District near Barcelona's famous Las Ramblas. Designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí for his patron Eusebi Güell, it was inaugurated in 1888 for Barcelona's World Fair. The building showcases Gaudí's early orientalist period, drawing inspiration from eastern art and architecture as well as Spain's Islamic heritage.
I really enjoyed Palau Güell. We visited as a family of four and the price of tickets for here was much more reasonable than other museums.
Unfortunately, it was extremely hot on the day we visited and we struggled a little inside in the heat. Few rooms had air con.
We didn’t have headphones so had to carefully listen to the guide on our phones. We didn’t want to be annoying to others so kept it as quiet as possible. The commentary was very informative and it was great how it corresponded to each room.
The rooms were beautiful and the roof terrace was stunning.

What a genuinely amazing time we had at Parc Güell! Seriously, if you're looking for a beautiful spot in Barcelona, this is it. It felt less like a monument and more like a colorful, sunny playground designed by a genius.
My wife and I spent a wonderful time just exploring the winding paths and those cool, cave-like structures. It's so easy to just find a quiet spot and enjoy the moment together.
But the views? Man, they are unbelievable. The main terrace, with that famous wavy mosaic bench, gives you a perfect panoramic shot of the entire city stretching right down to the Mediterranean Sea. You can clearly see the Sagrada Família poking up through the buildings, framed by Gaudí's crazy architecture. We even hiked up to the Three Crosses at the top for a true 360-degree spectacle.
It's beautiful, fun, and just a great place for a couple to spend a morning or afternoon soaking up the best of Barcelona. Definitely grab your tickets and go!

Another great gaudi building. Surprisingly this lovely palace is located so close to la rambla. Gaudi never disappoints, an easy walk through from roof to stables with great design & workmanship a visual treat on every level.

Walking into the main hall, we were captivated by its soaring verticality and the way natural light filters through, creating a sense of both majesty and warmth. Every corner of the palace seemed carefully crafted to evoke wonder, and we found ourselves slowing down just to absorb the details. Overall, our time at Palau Güell left us deeply satisfied, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip a place we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Such a fun and lively market! You can find all kinds of food here fresh fruit, juices, snacks, and tapas. I tried the strawberries with Nutella which is quite safe and they were delicious! The caramelized peanuts were also amazing. I wouldn’t really recommend the empanadas though they tasted a bit old. But overall, it’s a great place to wander around and you’ll definitely find something tasty to try!
Stopped by the Mercado and there were so many amazing options it was hard to choose where to eat. We ended up at this spot, and overall it was really good — great vibe, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. The only miss for me was the patatas bravas — not my favorite — but everything else hit the spot. Perfect place to grab a bite while exploring the market!

VERY overwhelming with a lot of people talking to you at the same time to buy exactly the same thing at the same price everywhere. Most of the stands don’t have places to seat (there’s little to no space inside the market) and there’s basically no place to sit around it so we had to walk hungry until we found benches to sit and eat.
The fried burritos were VERY very doughy and this other pastry with chicken and potatoes inside tasted “old” so honestly the only thing I’d recommend buying there would be the juices.
2,50€ p/ cup (or 5 for a bottle), they have a LOT of options and (at least) the mango/ strawberry & mango are actually incredibly delicious and taste fresh so 10/10 for the drinks!
Mercat de la Boqueria is an absolute must-visit if you’re in Barcelona! The market is so vibrant, colorful, and full of kind vendors. There were so many fresh fruits and juices to choose from - everything was delicious!!! There’s everything you can think of from seafood, meats, spices, and all kinds of local treats, every stand offers something unique and delicious. I would highly recommend visiting the market during your Barcelona visit!
An interesting market with ready made seafood, tacos, tapas, paella, juices, fresh fruits, nuts and dried fruits. Also have raw meats and beef. Many people are trying food and drinks enjoying the products. Most of the nuts and dried fruits stalls offer samples when you walked by.
Despite the vibrant color and varieties, we are skeptical to try. Juices and dried fruits color are so vibrant suggesting food colouring might be used. Given the summer temperature the cooked food are all pre-packed and placed in room temperature counter, not really feel very hygienic for bacterial growth.
Worth a visit however we did not buy anything from there.

If you're in Barcelona, you absolutely have to check out the Basílica de Santa Maria del Mar! This stunning church, built back in the 14th century, showcases the beautiful Catalan Gothic style. The tall columns and lovely stained-glass windows create such a peaceful and awe-inspiring vibe.
If you're planning a visit, keep in mind that the entrance fee varies based on what you want to see. A basic visit to explore the temple, gallery, and crypt will cost you €5. If you're up for some incredible views, you can access the towers and the roof terrace for an extra €10, or join a guided tour that includes both for €15—that full ticket comes with rooftop access!
While we decided to admire it from the outside (not uncommon since there’s a ticket fee), we were delighted by how charming the area around the church is. It’s tucked away in a nice, shaded corner, perfect for a little respite from the heat. Plus, you can enjoy a lovely stroll around the pretty surroundings!

The cathedral is very beautiful and has amazing architecture inside and outside. The building looks historic and detailed, and the atmosphere inside is peaceful. However, the lighting inside was a bit low, so it was harder to see some details clearly and take good photos. Outside, the area was lively and the Christmas decorations made it look even nicer. Overall, it’s a nice place to visit, just wish the lighting was a bit brighter inside.

This cathedral took my breath away. It honestly is not the fanciest or the most elaborate in the area, but learning the story of how this church came to be was incredibly interesting.
This is the church of the people, built by local peasants that were no longer welcome in the Cathedral de Barcelona. It took 60 years to construct. Over the front doors there are peasants carrying the blocks and stones which the cathedral is built from. These stones were quarried from Montjuic. Not having much money or equipment the peasants brought the bricks mostly on their back.
The labour and love that went into this building meant a lot to me. It is an incredibly gloomy and dark cathedral, very different to the more elaborate cathedrals in and around Barcelona.
We sat and contemplated this church and took it all in. It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
The entrance is 5€ but if you go after 6pm it is free. If you are on a tight budget.
Really a must see if in Barcelona, the sagrada familia takes all the fame and sure from the exerior this isn't as impressive, but from the interior it definitely holds it's own and in my opinion I even prefer it to the sagrada familia, if this was in any other city other than Barcelona it would be more world renowned.

If you are visiting Barcelona, this is definitely a must! The outside of the Sagrada Família is huge and very detailed. You can take some really great pictures and videos if you find the right angles. We were part of a private tour with only 9 people including us, and our tour guide did a wonderful job explaining the history and process behind building the cathedral, along with the symbolism of certain parts of the building. I heavily recommend you also pay for a tour as well, because it was interesting learning about the cathedral. The inside of the cathedral was even more jaw-dropping than the outside, as the colored window panes casted beautiful rainbow all around the interior. The architecture and structure of the cathedral was so complex and impressive and I definitely recommend you take time to just look around at your surroundings and see everything for yourself. There is also a museum and a gift shop you can visit at the end, and I bought two pencils, a mini replica of a colored window pane, and a pin to add to my back pack. You should definitely come here if you want to be in awe!
A beautiful exterior. The whole area ( called the gothic region) had amazing buildings. We don’t go inside ( there is a €16 entry fee) but walked around the whole area. There were street performers and interesting shops. A place you must see if in Barcelona’s.

Inside the church is spectacular and the audio guide is one of the best we have had. You can get access to the terrace which has a great view of the city. However, rating it feels tricky. In almost any other city, this would be a top attraction. But in Barcelona—where Gaudí’s masterpieces like Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, and Park Güell steal the spotlight it doesn’t have the same “wow” factor. If those didn’t exist, the cathedral would feel much more impressive and memorable.
Still, it’s worth a visit, especially if you’re already exploring the historic center. Go early or later in the day for a quieter experience, admire the exterior, wander through the cloister, and enjoy the surrounding neighborhood. A solid and meaningful stop just keep expectations realistic if you’ve already seen the big Gaudí icons.

The Barcelona Cathedral is absolutely breathtaking. We stayed at the Lamaro Hotel right across the courtyard and had an amazing view of it from our room—beautiful day and night. Walking around the area was just as memorable: the cobblestone streets, the historic bridge, and the entire Gothic Quarter setting make the cathedral feel even more special. A must-see landmark that captures the heart of Barcelona.

The location is great: nestled in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, with its maze of medieval streets and charming atmosphere. The museum itself is a beautiful blend of history and modernity, recently renovated but still housed in stunning medieval buildings, complete with magnificent staircases, stone walls, and ornate facades. Honestly, the architecture alone is worth the visit...
The collection is well-organized and thoughtfully curated. We loved discovering some of Picasso’s very early works, including a breathtaking First Communion painting - incredibly impressive considering he painted it at just 15. The transition through his different periods is clearly displayed, from his first portraits to the Blue Period and the early explorations of Cubism. The collection is not overwhelmingly large, which in my opinion is a plus (you can comfortably see everything in about two hours without feeling rushed).
Personally, I found the Velázquez-inspired “Las Meninas” variations absolutely fascinating, especially the large-format piece - a true highlight of the visit. I also appreciated the series of works inspired by his time in Paris, a recurring theme that shows the lasting influence of Cubism on his style.
We were also lucky to catch a temporary exhibition dedicated to Francoise Gilot (French painter, long term partner of Picasso, and mother of Claude and Paloma Picasso) with some of her own art on display (drawings, watercolors and a few ceramics), as well as pieces connected to Claude Picasso and the family, a touching and insightful addition to the experience.
Overall, this museum is well worth visiting, whether for its architecture, its intimate but rich collection, or the chance to gain a clearer understanding of Picasso’s early work and evolving artistic phases. A must if you want to appreciate not just the art, but also the context and influences that shaped this iconic figure.

Great art and story telling. Well presented. Clean and well maintained facilities. Staff are all courteous and well informed. You can buy tickets from 9AM to 2PM if you want to visit on the same day, same hours. After that time tickets normally are sold out. It's recommended to get the tour with the audio version to appreciate the experience more.
I absolutely loved Picasso. And if I may dare to say this, I loved it more than Prado! It was very easy to understand Picasso's progression of thought and art work as he grew in life. His works evolve from simple sketches to advance arts and there is certainly a reflection of his life's events impacting his art works. The audio guide worked well, though I really wish audio guides would somehow simply start narrating based on the position we are in...instead of us trying to locate which painting the audio guide was referring to. Anyhow, the audio guides worked well...and we're actually quite interesting.

This experience turned out to be more engaging than I expected. Normally I lean toward fine arts rather than contemporary styles, but Picasso’s reinterpretation of Velázquez’s Las Meninas truly captured me. The cubist version breaks down the familiar scene into fragments of geometry and colour, yet somehow keeps the solemn presence of Velázquez’s original.
I was also moved by drawings of his family — Françoise Gilot, who worth-mentioning is also a talented artist, and their two children. They revealed a tender side of him. Those simple, almost spontaneous lines conveyed warmth and domestic peace.
There is also vast collection in this museum of his earlier, more classical and impressionistic works that reminded me how technically gifted he was before Cubism. I found those early paintings no less appealing — soft brushwork, human emotion, and the kind of light that feels alive.
This museum is included in the Barcelona museum passport, without which one’d better book ticket online in advance.

Ciutadella Park, the first public park in Barcelona, was established in the late 1800s and is situated in the Ciutat Vella neighborhood. We loved this place! Beautiful park with plenty of space to walk around and take a step back from the busy streets of Barcelona.

Only thing I would recommend would be make sure you have some water on a hot day. It’s not very covered and could use a touch more shaded areas IMHO.

Very beautiful park, but some things could be better. There are a lot of sellers offering you things to buy every ten seconds, which is a little unpleasant.
The greenery is very beautiful, the trees are mature and the constructions are gorgeous. The lake would be beautiful as it is but it is always packed with tourists on boats. The fountains work and they are really pretty, it is not too crowded and you will not mind all the tourists. The only esthetically unpleasing sight of the park are all the metal fences around the trees.
There is a sign you cannot step on the grass but everybody is having a picnic on the grass, so do not worry too much about that. They dont really mind.
There is a small shop where you can buy (overpriced, but that is to be expected) snacks and drinks.
There a few toilets and I assume they work, but they are dirty and unpleasant and they do not have toilet paper, so bring a tissue.
Overall a nice place to check out if you are in Barcelona and want a breath of chiller air. There is always a free bench to relax on.
The place is a good park to spend some quality time with friends and family. Mostly used as a picnic place by locals and picture perfect location by the tourists. However the place is not well maintained, the fountains were not functional and the water was dirty with trash and green in colour. It has a good walkable path around the entire park with the structure and fountain being at its center. One more attraction will be the pond situated within the park with boating facility and a lot of ducks.
Ciutadella Park is one of the most beautiful places in Barcelona. There’s always something going on here—musicians, picnics, boat rides, and people just enjoying the sunshine. It’s full of life and charm all year round. My partner actually proposed to me here, so it’ll always have a special place in our hearts. A truly magical spot that I’ll never forget. Highly recommend visiting!

There is doggy area that is fenced off so you can let your dog run free and meet other dogs, it even has a water station for them.

This park was close to where we stayed and we stumbled upon it by luck. It is a well manicured and beautiful park with sculptures, greenhouses, playgrounds, fountains and even a zoo - this place is huge. Best to go only in the day, because unfortunately there are many homeless squatters that congregate and live in the northwest side of the park.

Was amazing, a beauty to see, its the City Center, I would suggested to do the bus tour it takes you through the entire city and u can even take the boat with the same tickets for 24 hours, its very cost effected, $38 per person and u get to hap off the bus and on, you can even stop at the beach and have a good time and jump right back on the bus.

Barcelona is wonderful. I loved this public square, it has great fountains and statues. A wide open public space that is enjoyed by very many people. A safe place to visit and an interesting one. Historic and colourful, this square lays in the heart of shopping districts and is easily accessible by public transport, both buses and trains. I spend several days in this area and saw that pedestrians are well looked after, with traffic lights to cross roads changing automatically after a short duration, with no one having to press buttons to cross. That should be more widely adopted elsewhere, it is a great idea, with pedestrian traffic and road traffic moving most harmoniously

Just a beautiful place for a walk in Barcelona. Exploring the city and its architecture. Around every corner is something interesting and I wish I could have stopped at every bar, cafe or shop. But if I had, I’d still be there month later and not even come close to trying them all.
It's such a lively spot and really feels like the heart of the city. There's always something going on, and I even got to see a parade which was super cool! The whole atmosphere is fantastic, and it's a great place to start or end your day.

Visiting the Sagrada Família was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. You see photos everywhere, but nothing compares to standing in front of it and realizing how enormous and detailed it really is. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, construction started in 1882 and it’s still not finished but it's coming to an end. There’s something amazing about seeing a building that’s been growing for more than a century and continues to evolve with each generation continuing Gaudi's vision. Every part of it tells a story: the Nativity Façade is full of life and nature, while the Passion Façade is dramatic and emotional. Inside, the light through the stained-glass windows looks magical — it changes color throughout the day and fills the space with warmth, peace and wonderful colours. Even with all the crowds, the atmosphere is calm and awe-inspiring. It really feels like a place where art, faith, and nature come together. It's one of the most beautiful landmarks on the world.

The Sagrada Familia is incredible. We did a guided tour which was great for a couple reasons. One, we got to walk pass the line with our guide which saved us time. Also, our guide was able to give us so many details about the structure we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. We went during the Golden Hour, which is when the sun is setting and the light shines through the stain glass, creating a Golden light. The details in the structure from the outside to the inside is spectacular. Highly recommend getting tickets way in advance so you don't miss out on the Sagrada Familia.
We had a guided tour. We don't normally do this but in this case it was necessary. The guide was informative amusing and personable.
As for the Sagrada Familia itself, quite simply WOW!
It was everything we had been told and so much more. The explanations of Gaudi's reasoning for the various aspects of the design brought the whole building into focus.
It is truly an experience.
The company we used was The Tour Guy. If all their guides are as good as ours you cannot go wrong. It may seem costly but IMHO it's worth it.
When in Barcelona, you have to visit the masterpiece of Gaudí. Book your tickets in advance and also get a guided tour. It will be a tour of around two hrs and your guide will explain about each and everything. This place is not just a church it’s a masterpiece of human kind. This place is an experience that you must do. I will recommend to visit either early in morning at the time of sunrise or in evening around 4pm at sunset. You will experience the place at its best and you will able to see the importance of time and light in the church. It’s the best architecture i have ever seen. Must book your tickets at-least 20 days in advance and also choose the tower access for the best views in city.

We booked a guided tour in advance, which made entry smooth and stress-free. The tours have a dedicated line making clearing security and entering the Basilica easy and highly recommended for the information provided by the guides making the experience more memorable.
Allow at least 60-90 minutes to fully take it in, and don’t rush. Whether you’re religious or not, this is a place that inspires reflection and wonder. You are welcome to sit and reflect in one of the pews or simply rest your feet. You can buy tickets to view Barcelona from the top or visit the basement for more history and the gift shop. Unlike any church or basilica you will see.
Magnificent structure! I have visited Barcelona three times, and during my second visit, I had the chance to explore the interior as well. Both the inside and outside are truly unique. It’s an amazing experience to examine the figures on the exterior one by one. The ticket includes an audio guide, and by downloading the Sagrada Familia app to your phone, you can access a step-by-step audio guide that explains both the exterior and interior of the building. By the way, I recommend purchasing your ticket a week or two before your trip.

This was a former hospital turned museum which gave a lot of insight of the type of work this hospital was doing in the 1920s and beyond. There is also some artworks in there for you to explore. The architecture of the buildings are magnificent and are an attraction within itself

Nice place to go for a walk, because in the city there is not much of a green areas around. But be aware that there is a lot of stairs in the park. You can see nice architecture and if you are lucky you can find a spot on the sun and just relax for a bit.
Make sure to buy your tickets online beforehand or you likely won’t get in. Entrance fee is a little steep for what it is but nevertheless, still a great Gaudi experience. The place gets overly crowded so that definitely takes away from the overall experience.

Tibidabo is a beautiful amusement park on top of a mountain. At it’s peak there is a cathedral that you can visit, allowing you to go to the top of the building to have an amazing view over Barcelona. The admission fee is also very cheap. Don’t expect top of the line thrilling attractions on the top level (lower level attractions require an additional ticket if they are open). Top level attractions are solely focused on giving you a great view. With that being said, I highly recommend going here when you’re visiting Barcelona.

Very nice olace to visit. Went by a car and 18 euros for parking. Long line for the rollercoster but a great 3d ride. People taking place for 8 more people in line even if posters saying it not allowed. No special food sold there so reccomend taking with you as it has a nice picnic area. I’ve done 30+ rooms.
This is my favorite. There’s no theme persay, but you are whisked away to almost a Bioshock-esque environment. Everything, is used. Be ready to be fully immersed.
The owner has a fantastic story to prop up his creativity. If you show real interest, ask about it. He’s really a well spoken gentlemen.

This was an amazing escape! We’ve done lots of escapes already, but this one is definitely in my top 3 list. It was a perfect combination of technology and the old traditional way.
We were with 4 persons in which old and young. Everybody had lots of things to do and nobody had to wait for someone else.
The owners are amazing and built a beautiful escape. You should really try this one! Believe me!!

Very good room and a kind owner who helped us finish the remaining few parts since we ran out of the 60 minutes, bit got the full experience this way. If you have less than 80 escape rooms behind yourself I would recommend a group of 4.
Amizing time. It was our first time doing an escape room, and we had a great time. Nice decor and a nice host we finished with just 3 seconds left. We did an English session and it was perfect. No language issues at all
Amazing experience. Great atmosphere and attention to detail. This is a passion project and it shows. Was our first time in an escape room and it couldn't have been more perfect. We were a family with two small kids (9 and 12yo), and they got to participate and feel included, but the adults were enjoyably challenged as well. Language was not an issue, the GMs English was impeccable. The witty interactions and jokes with him just completed an already unique experience. If you are close to the area, do yourself a favour and don't miss this!

The game master was really kind of giving hints / clues to puzzles that we were stuck on.
The puzzles are really mind blowing sometimes you think something and it’s the complete opposite.

Honestly one of the best times I’ve had during vacations.
10/10 would recommend for experienced and beginner ! 😅

Tucked away as a hidden gem in a playground at Delmau Parc is this wonderful local landmark filled with sobering history and thoughts of days-passed. Definitely recommend! It's only €1 a ticket and it is a wonderful way to respectfully learn some local history.
Small tunnel but great to take the inquisitive kids
We had a bad experience. We didn’t found the Entrance and also the locals couldn’t help us.
Interesting place (I'd you like these sorts of attractions) it's quite small, so it's only a 30 min visit, but as it is only a euro entrance I didn't expect much more.
It's basically an air raid shelter for Calella when the Spanish civil war was going on.

It's nice to see a little bit about the history of Calella. Unfortunate you can only see one tunnel so you have seen everything in 5 minutes. Good price for what you get.
Interesting boards with English descriptions. Worth a visit.

The biggest advantage of this place is the view. Part of the menu was not available, cocktails were awful, the food below average and the prices quite high for the value it offers. Maybe it is worth visiting just to drink a beer on the beach
Every time when we come to Pineda de Mar we had a good time spending on this place. Food drinks and service were good and we enjoyed the atmosphere there.
But This year we came to this bar as always to enjoy the beautiful view and ordered some food and cocktails. It was our worst decision. We ordered sangria and squid rings. The sangria was made of some chemical concentrate and the squids rings were overcooked and tasted like they had been prepared several days ago. Definitely not recommended.
We have waited for 4 drinks 42 minutes. No one came to our table, We had to come for drink menu by ourselves and sit with full table of plates from previous customers 30 minutes. Beach view was nice. Coctail Tom Colins on the picture for 9€ even without straw or any decoration....
The bar is simple and nice. It is very conveniently positioned by the sea and has nice service, club music, nice cocktails and atmosphere.
The food was atrocious, awful and horrible. We ordered shrimps that costs 18 euro (for 7 little shrimps), that looked good but tasted like I was eating uncooked fish. The seasoning was horrible and although me and my husband are not pretentious to food, I could not eat even the one shrimp that I started to. Even in Barcelona a portion of shrimps are ~10-15 euros. But there in Pineda de Mar, it is too expensive for what horrible food the costumers receive. It was the worst experience, we even dared the waiter to try them:)) Do not recommend.
Best place ever. We arrived here directly from the flight, they are soo nice and professional people. The beer is cold, the coctails are fruity, and the food.. Omg the food is amazing. We had nachos and later salmon carpaccio.. Just the olive oil on the carpaccio is super high quality (i was a cook in italy for 10 years). The close by beach is a big bonus, clean and calm... Would recomend, and will be back.
Nice spot to have a drink & have view over the beach & sea . Called in a few times over our week in Pineda . Prices are reasonable , staff friendly & attentive. Didn't have that much to eat here , just pan con tomate , but everything we had was good .

Parc Dalmau is a picturesque park in Calella, offering lush tropical vegetation and perfect for leisurely romantic strolls. It's a beautiful park where it's cool even in the heat. It's not very well maintained, but ok
It's a beautiful place to walk round even a little park for the kids, strolling through nature and with little monuments scattered about and a arena with a bandstand/operatic looking area which was pretty cool😉😊
A little store on top would be perfect! (For cold drinks!)..
(But maybe not as now it's so natural looking!) There is icecold water halfway up on the right side. Do not drink? But pls do use it to cool down.
Nice to walk around, path goes to the top of the mountain and has great views to the sea. Fair sized park for children. Interesting air raid shelter. Theres a fountain. Lots of benches and tables for picnic.

The food is very good, especially patatas bravas. It’s better to get take out though, it’s cheaper than eating outside. But we enjoyed the food nonetheless

We arrived around 11pm, place was full so we had to que, it got empty quite quickly and we were told they only have hotdogs left. Erm, OK. But not even chips? Fair enough. But then again, the table next to us that ordered in the same time have been given other things, and it was probably because we are not Spanish. Not the first time we notice this in Spain. The hotdogs were good though, but obviously nothing spectacular putting some sausages in ciabattas.
Simple and delicious! Good atmosphere, fast service. Second time here and satisfied with the experience.

Just awesome! We booked one hour of quad. After we arrived we got a quick introduction. After that our guide Samba took us to the mountain trails. The trails are crazy, small routes everywhere and then just plain areas where you can speed. Samba took good care of us but also let us use max speed so it was never boring. Absolutely worth the money considering that we also used quite an amount of gas and the quads wear out quickly on these trails. Additionally we also got a nice view from the mountains.

Decided to take my 13 year old son quad biking to celebrate his birthday and it was a good choice, what an incredible experience!
The quad biking was so much fun—adrenaline-packed with stunning views throughout the ride. The trails were exciting but felt safe the whole time. Huge shoutout to our host Rodolfo, who was absolutely excellent—super friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. He took lots of photos of us and ensure safety at all times. We decided to book football golf at the end and my son absolutely loved it. Rodolfo was really accommodating from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a better adventure—highly recommend!
Amazing experience. We went quad biking with our family of five. Jose was incredible and patient, teaching us and making sure we had the best time but were also safe. I highly recommend to any families. We will definitely be back to try the Lazer tag in the yhe spring.
We were driving quads. It was a great experience. Our guide couldn't speak English very well. So his colleague did the instructions and safety guide. After that the guide could speak English well enough for the tour. The route was great. Some good views at the top of the mountains.

We had a great time here. My son, 8, was nervous but after Jose had a chat about the safety measures and that the group we are with was quite small (6 people) he was up for the rope walk challenge.
Jose spoke with perfect English and the whole group understood how to safely complete the set out course under his mentorship.

Great place for families and friends to spend time there. We tried the laser tag, the climbing circuit, and quads. Very well done facilities and lots of fun! Booking in advance is highly recommend!

Turreted Gothic fortress & palace dating to the 11th century, flanked by viewpoints & rugged trails.
We loved this spot. We took the steep hike which was intense but we made it. We had a tour which was so incredible to learn the history of this castle. The views are incredible also.

Due to Easter Sunday the venue 🏰 was closed, when I arrived at 14:00, no complaint. A steep path leads up through the woods 🪵 with lots indicating arrows. Of course, there is also a broader way available. The view is beautiful from the Mediterranean Sea 🌊 to the interesting mountainous ⛰️ GironaBarcelona hinterland.
A really scenic castle. Some great views, nice walk up from the car park. The tour is in Catalan, but I still managed to follow a lot of it. It lasts nearly two hours.
Important to note that visits are by pre-booked tour only, only on weekends.
I turned up without booking and they kindly let me join the tour.
Entry to the castle is free.
Worth a detour if you're in the area.
Getting to the Castle was a long walk. It was 3 kilometers and took around 45 minutes. Beautiful scenery and spectacular views.
Beautiful hike to the top from the free parking lot. €6 adults, pay in the gift shop at the castle entrance. Fantastic efforts in repairing and restoring the beautiful castle!!! Amazing views, wonderful history, excellent self-guided tour. Will do it again when we have visitors!!
Beautiful place with some amazing viewpoints. We took the steep hike, which was quite intense, especially under the sun, but we managed. We were told the guided tour would last about 18 minutes, which sounded fine… but that wasn’t the case. It didn’t take 18, 28, or even 48 minutes, it ended up being nearly two hours. 😨
While I respect the guide’s enthusiasm, it’s important to read the group’s energy. The tour dragged on, and jokingly we felt more like prisoners than visitors, especially since most of what we saw were rocks. Please note that you cannot visit the inside of the castle without the guided tour.
That said, the scenery is lovely in parts, and some of the viewpoints make the effort worthwhile.
We couldn't get in as it was closed but the sorrounding is quite spectacular, well preserved, also the view is so wide. Very nice walk from the parking lot, the forest is cute.
The around is quite spectacular also the view is so amazing. Entre ticket is not expensive. I recommend this place

What a great spot! They have parking and you can bring your dog as long as they stay on the leash. A couple of the Gorge's are not available for your dog to go in because of the otters living there, but they will point those out on the map to you. Awesome place to explore and walk about, great views everywhere. Definitely will go back with my friends!

Beautiful waterfalls! Amazing natural formations. There is parking available nearby which is great but most of the way to get to the waterfalls is made on the road - not in the forest as most forest is private property.. that is the only thing that made me a bit disappointed as we have a dog and he loves to explore nature - apart from that even the road walk is in a nice rural setting. Worth the visit to the waterfalls.
Be aware that this is a paid experience. During the summertime, an employee checks the QR code to allow you to visit the location and spend family time in a natural pool. When we tried to set up the QR ad-hoc via the provided website, there were no available slots, even though a few people were resting nearby. Also, hard trail and no packing over there.
Beautiful spot. There is a free parking before entering this spot. We’d walked for a while to see a few of the spots. But this one was our fave. Have in mind they don’t recommend swimming in any, but you can, they will just not take the responsibility if anything happens to you.
Such a great (little) waterfall experience!
Totally recommend stopping here, as it’s only like a 5 minute walk from the parking area. Super Crystal clear waters in the river, and make sure climb up the side of the waterfall (there is a rope) as you can continue on to some even better swimming pools which is about another 5 minutes.
A lovely walk down to this peaceful little waterfall. Try to arrive early in the day and take your time. For a meditative sound video filmed at this unique waterfall and many others round the world, go to Peaceful Viewpoints YouTube channel.
Super wild swimming spot. Can park in Plane design Hostales and walk here in 25 minutes along the old railway line and beyond. Signposted route
This was an incredible waterfall to see. My recommendation would be to go on Itinerànnia and do the entire waterfall hike. The hike in is short but very easy if you’re just looking for a quick in and out.
