Most people friendly and salt of the earth. Couldn’t do enough for you. Any time of the day or night, there would be shops open. Some phenomenal evenings, breakfasts and lunches at The Majestic by the beautiful flower lined and walkbridge connected Canal. Surprisingly though, prices were similar to Sydney, Aus. prices or a little cheaper. It wasn’t as cheap as I had expected for such a small town. Overall, my experience in Içmeler was fondly memorable! Worth the trip.

A nice beach in the centre of icmeler. It was empty in October so Marmaris is better if you want a more lively atmosphere, however if you want some peace and quiet this is the place to go. I’d imagine it’s quite different in the middle of the summer!

Pleasant little town. We walked here from our hotel in Marmaris. Took just under an hour. Bars and shops aplenty. Water taxi to take you to and from Marmaris is a nice and fairly inexpensive form of travel if don't want to walk.

The beach is nice but tiny pebbles and not sand . We used the sunbeds belonging to coco bar there.if you buy a drink you don't pay for sunbeds and they come round for you to order drinks , Had food in there too and was very nice ,people are so lovely there

The slides were very nice, the foam was insufficient at the foam party and we didn't have much fun. The area for children is very nice, I recommend it. While some employees were interested, I did not like the attitude of some employees. If not for those employees, I would recommend it very well in general.

Amazing waterpark, much better than the one on the beach, worth paying the extra for! Plenty of pools and slides for all ages! Staff more than helpful pulling out extra sunbeds as and when requested, the scottish lady on the bar was very friendly! Kids loved the icecream & strawberries! We will 100% return on our next trip to turkey!

We had a fantastic day at the waterpark! Perched at the top of the hill, it offers amazing views over Marmaris bay as well as a huge variety of slides to keep everyone entertained. The atmosphere was brilliant – the poolside DJ and foam party gave it a real holiday vibe. Everything was well organised, clean, and felt safe, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the day. A perfect mix of fun, music, and great facilities – highly recommended for families and groups alike! 🌊🎶💦 For the cheapest prices, buy tickets directly from their website, instead of your operators.

It's okay, but you can't really call it a waterpark. It is more of a splash park. Slides are okay, but once again, not what you would expect when it is sold to you as a water park/aqua park. It will feel like better value for money if one were to come with kids or teenage kids; otherwise, you will be in and out in a maximum of two hours. They have a soft play area on site. Not had any issues with staff personally but I do agree with other comments about them being glued to the phones. And, yes, I've seen them as well lit a cigarette and chill at the top of the slides.

I've visited many water parks across Spain, and while they tend to be massive, Marmaris Atlantis Water Park is smaller in comparison. That said, we had a fantastic time! The park was clean, with plenty of lifeguards ensuring safety. The food service was efficien and our order was delivered quickly. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely come back!

Small, but good fun for kids and a change from the hotel pool. Free shuttle bus picks you up and takes you back later. Your entry also includes access to the sunbeds on the beach in front of the water park, where you can come in and out as many times as you want. Drinks and food can also be had on the beach.

Good water park with a view and its own beach with enough sun beds, you can come in and out more than once, there are enough water slides and a wave pool.

We were sold this experience by the rip-off merchant, known as Murat, a holiday rep, who does nothing but rip-off guests. This excursion, for example is only 24TL and he sold it to us for 35TL each. I don't know why a minibus was required considering it was a few minutes walk from the Point Beach Hotel (a budget hotel masquerading as a 4* hotel). The staff were lovely at the water park. In particular the two lifeguards near the blue slide. All the slides are fantastic including the wave machine. There was very little waiting time and we had a great deal of fun. The only point of note was that the restaurant where we ordered our food would not serve us at the sunbeds. It was only the white water park users that got that service, we had to order our food in at the desk at then collect it from there when we were ordered to. We would not eat there again, we'd rather go elsewhere.

There seem to be a lot of poor reviews on Trip Advisor, but we had an excellent day at Atlantis Water Park. Unfortunately, we headed out too late to catch the free shuttle bus (between 9 & and 11.30am, I think from your hotel) but we grabbed a cab straight there which was only 200 Lira (a fiver). I pre-booked online as recommended. Cost is around £19 for an adult, and £10 for under 11's. You can spend the whole day there and with the wristband, come and go as you please. You also have access to a private section of the beach with loungers and brollies. The park itself is perfect for adults not looking for anything too crazy and kids. It might not have scary enough flumes for teenagers, although my 18yr old loved it. It was perfect for my 9yr old. We stayed the whole day and bought snacks and drinks from the attached bar. Some reviews say the park is run down, but we had no issue with it. It was clean, and that's the main thing. I'd recommend a visit!

Came here mid November we were fortunate enough to have lovely weather for a couple days, the beach is clean and if you sit near one the the restaurants or bars they allow you to use the Sun Loungers and give you free WiFi providing you purchase a drink from them.

The sand is brown ,it's kind of dry clay in most of the parts, don't expect white fine sand. The sea is brown as well, if you go to the deep part it can be a little bit more clear. If you want to go snorkeling ,that's isn't the beach ,go to Turunç, Turunç is amazing. Marmaris beach facilities are spectacular, showers everywhere, places to get changed and toilets. Amazing facilities.

A sandy beach stretches on the part of the coast of Marmaris and belongs to the municipality, it is crowded most of the time in the morning and evening, there are public sanitary facilities and places for changing clothes, as well as places for bathing and washing the body after going to the sea. There is a nearby park that has children's games.

Parked in the new carpark along the front, lots of space and walked the whole length of marmaris, there was a kite festival so they were everywhere. Wandered back along the pazar area which has lots of little shops, lovely afternoon

Lovely for a swim but lots of stones so u will need beach shoes. No sun beds or loungers. Just bring ur Towel and sit on sand. There is a little bit with a rail that has man made hard floor under sea to get into sea to avoid the stones

Very nice well designed place with whatever a sailor can need such as warm water, every time clean big spaced toilets with hair dryer. Good shopping area with many cafes restaurants and sailing shops, a very close super market just next to marine, close to heart of Marmaris just a few minutes walk you are in castle historic area and bar streets.

It used to be very nice and friendly, in the last two years prices have become unreasonable. Let me explain: first of all is very noisy at night (both from night clubs but also fron other boats partying) but the worst thing is the high speed powerboats entering or leaving the marina. So once in while unexpected waves come out of the blue caused by tenders. Additionally the behavior of certain staff + the refusal to speak English is funny when working in tourism! There is a rule in marketing called "willingness to pay", i don't mind the higher cost BUT downgrading the quality of your services is serious.

The marina is impeccably clean and well run, the town has everything you cod need to refit your boat with. Most of the mariners speak good English and are very helpful and the technical support is also readily available. It is also a very safe and secure marina with someone attentively patroling on a tender through the night .

Finally got to see the famous dancing fountains in Marmaris — they start at 9pm and are definitely a highlight of any visit here. 💦✨ The music, lights, and water displays are brilliant, and the atmosphere is buzzing with families and holidaymakers. Can’t believe it’s taken me five trips to actually see them, but worth the wait!

Not as breathtaking as Dubai fountain, obviously on the much smaller scale. Still, lovely spot. I recommend to visit after sunset. Nice to chill and relax. Lovely, calming atmosphere.

It's worth a try once

We used Basket Travel after a friends recommendation to do the turtle beach / mud bath tour. Our tour guide Kareem (like Benzema) was brilliant, very funny, very knowledgeable and made the trip very enjoyable. He clearly loves what he does and got excited like a big kid when the Loggerhead Turtles appeared, everyone bought in to his excitement and he really made the day fun. The restaurant where we stopped for lunch was very good, food was really nice. The mud baths were great fun. Basket Travel were keenly priced, the coach was VERY comfortable with luxury seats, tinted windows and air con throughout. Would defo recommend them.

We are currently on our 5th trip to Turkey. This is our first trip to the Dalaman Region, so we were keen to experience some of the local beauty spots and soak up some history at the same time. We researched before booking and ended up booking the 12 Island Tour and Dalyan River Cruise with mud baths and Turtle Beach. Both tours were fantastic. Our guide for 12 Islands was Kylian (sorry if this isn’t correct - I just remember him saying he shared a similar name to Mbappe!). Our guide for Dalyan Tour was Dodo. Both guides were informative, friendly and helpful. I love history, so the time taken by both of them to provide history and information on spots visited. The boats were comfortable, with shade and sun. We loved both trips and would thoroughly recommend. We did travel with our 4 children (all 11 and under) so it was appreciated that these trips weren’t made to feel for adults or older children only. Special shout out to our boat driver for letting the kids “drive” the boat on the Dalyan River. We made some unforgettable memories and would highly recommend both tours. One thing I would say is don’t buy the “crab” to feed the turtles on the turtle trip. It’s £10 per box and there are signs at turtle beach telling you not to feed the turtles! Felt that was a bit of money making in the end. We also got left short with cash on the Dalyan trip as the restaurant told us they needed us to pay cash for our drinks only . It turns out we could have paid by card. Don’t like feeling we are being taken a loan of by people but these two things we were not happy with. Perhaps Basket can take these on board for future.

Yet again used Basket for my transfers from the airport and trips. They were great transfer was ready and waiting on arrive. Beautiful maintained vehicle. We did the turtle beach trip. All I can say is Deniz is a legend in his own lifetime. So knowledgeable and funny. The everything was well timed and organised. The food was brilliant, all the stops were great and we even got to see turtles. One of my best days ever!

Had the most amazing day doing the Eco Safari Adventure today with basket travel. Our hosts/drivers Rooney and Eric couldn’t do anymore to make our day more fun and enjoyable. We laughed non stop and got to see some fantastic sights of Turkey! Thank you for an epic day!!!

Very affordable especially if you pre-book before holiday. They have got extremely friendly, knowledgeable and comedic tour guides. Definetely the best people to go with if you want to experience Turkey outside the walls of the hotel. Done all the trips they offer with family including a younger sibling who enjoyed them too. I can't fault the service at all.

The beach was fine but the views on the road to get there almost earned it 5 stars. There is water sports and people available to take you out on a boat. The road to get there isn't for a novice driver but as long as you go slow you'll get there, it was my first time driving left hand drive and I had a blast heading down it.

Stunning beach with turquoise water. The maim beach is a bit crowded but the hidden gem is on the left hand side. Take the walking trail on the left and walk 10 minutes. You will fall in love with the crystal clear turquoise blue water.

Great Beach , entrance 200TL for a car , 150TL for 2 sunbeds at the time of writing. Sandy beach with easy access to the water , lovely place with a quirky cafe, note that the whole place is card only - NO CASH.

This is my most favorite bay in this area. On the weekends it is too crowded because it is very popular due to its fame and perfect sea and forest combination of nature but during the weekdays it is a perfect choice.

One of the most beautiful spots to see in Dalaman area. The beach is great early in the morning if you want to get the most of it. Entry to the parking 200TL, sunbeds for 150TL. The road is a bit challenging but it’s worth it.

TL 200 entrance per car, payment by card only. Loud public announcements. Beatiful views of bay. But can be crowded and everybody smokes.

Very nice, spacious and clean sandy beach. Water is crystal clear and it's shallow for like 20 meters. The only downside was the parasols; they're rather small and don't have great coverage. However the beach is pretty cheap -100 TL for a couple of beds and a parasol - so it's definitely worth it.

This is our first trip to İztuzu Beach by car, and the journey is quite long. The breathtaking views on the drive to the beach make it worthwhile. The parking lot costs ₺200, and payment is required upon entry. They also provide changing rooms and restrooms. There is a restaurant and tanning area where you can pay ₺165 per person or ₺350 for two wooden sun loungers, or choose a free one on the sand. The beach was extremely crowded. The only thing you have to do when you go swimming in the sea, all you have to do is walk far enough until the water is deep enough. İztuzu Beach is absolutely stunning; unfortunately, we did not get to see any turtles, but we had an enjoyable time. I recommend it purely for the experience.

İztuzu Plajı is one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in Turkey. The sand is golden, the water is shallow and warm, and the scenery is amazing with mountains on one side and the river delta on the other. What makes it special is that it’s also a protected nesting area for Caretta Caretta turtles, so it feels like you’re visiting both a beach and a natural reserve. There are no big hotels or loud music, which keeps it peaceful. Best to bring your own snacks and water, and respect the turtle areas. Truly a natural paradise!

One of my favourite in Turkey. Perfectly clean, wise, and beautiful. Dalyan in general is a magic place for a vacation. You can get there by the boat, or by the bus service. It takes around 30 minutes, both ways are enjoyable though, views etc. A lot of empty space, if you walk a little far from the sun lounges. Sandy clean beach, warm clean sea, perfect

I liked this beach a lot. The fee is not that much (2€ per car, no matter how many people are inside it), there are public toilets and showers (with cold, salty water) and the beach is clean. The water doesn't get deep enough for swimming for more than 50meters which makes it ideally for kids. You can also visit the Turtle Hospital (which is located close to the entrance). There is also shadow under some pine trees, but if you arrive after 10am most probably you will find it already occupied. At times it gets very windy. The restaurant inside has reasonable prices.

I had a good experience in akbük but i heard that it used to be more relaxing and beautiful over there but now its too crowded and not that good if you just want to chill out. There's a beautiful forest there too but the fire department won't let you camp there unfortunately. And if you want to camp you either should find a place before actually getting to akbük or you have to camp in the campsites which are too crowded and in my opinion awful ! And overpriced

From Akyaka it is almost 50 min distancr by car, a challenging Road but a hidden town by the sea and Mountain. Clean sea and perfect nature

The water is amazing and worth a visit. There are a few small open air places that will serve you food and drinks. Paid 10try to park but worth every penny to swim in these waters. The beach is small but they sell chairs and umbrellas if needed but you dont come here to sit on the beach. I wish i had diving equipment with me.

Be ready for very loud music for the whole day until 12, especially well heared if you are on a yacht. Worst mooring experience in Turkey so far

One of the perfect place to have rest and swim. Still not commercial and “touristic”. Some sea side hotels and restaurants are occupying the beach but still it’s kind of “vlrgin” place for holiday.

Absolutely amazing ancient ruins. Quite a hike from one plateau to another but worth it. The boat across was 100TL for two people return. And the pancakes at the cafe on that side were amazing. Well worth a visit. If you go into the cemetery and walk straight on, then take a little turn right at the fence you can get a closer look at the rock tombs.

An amazing relic of the past. I'd like to give everyone a little information here. There is no need to get a boat trip to visit this place. Walk along the front in the direction of the sea. (Left). You will see a restaurant on the other side. There is a row boat service to take you to over. The cost is insignificant. You will see a single road on the other side. Simply walk along it for approximately 20 minutes and you will arrive at Caunos. You can not miss it. It's an easy walk for most people. You do have to get in and out of the boat, obviously but you will be helped. These are pictures of the crossing point.

Well worth a visit to the extensive ruins. Took the car ferry as foot passengers from river by Hotel Portleva. Fare 20 lira each way (cash). Then 15 minutes easy walk on a road. Entry fee 140 lira each again cash only. Visited from 4pm on 1 October and only a very few people were there. The amphitheatre is being renovated but still accessible. The lower level by the river is river is accessible by an ancient paved path which is uneven in places -saw a few big lizards. It’s possible to cross the river by row boat from the town centre but this means a longer walk on the other side.

Kaunos is a must see if you’re in the area! So much amazing history to see and gorgeous views over the water! Remember to bring water as it’s HOT up there… they have opened a little cafe to grab a drink too.

Kaunos is an ancient city located in the province of Muğla, Turkey, near the modern town of Dalyan. Once a strategically important port city, it is now situated several kilometers inland due to the silting of its harbor over centuries. The city is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and is known for its unique blend of Carian, Lycian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine influences. There is quite a lot of restoration work but it doesn't detract from what you see. There are bilingual signs outlining what each structure is and it's history. All in all, it's like the entertainment quarter for the ancient inhabitants of this area. Entry is 150 Turkish Lira payable at the top. The walk up is very dusty and hot. I recommend good walking shoes, a hat and water.

4th visit. This time I decided to walk to the highest point where the castellations are. It was a difficult ascent which took about 30 min's beyond the ampitheatre. Don't think I'd do that walk again but if you're up for a challenge go for it. The views are panoramic once at the top

Enjoyed the trip by boat all the way to the mud and thermal water park. Mythologically, It is been said that the river is filled by tears of a prince whose love left him for his brother. On the mountains there, they crafted their Graves.

Great tombs to see and you can get amazing views from restaurants on the other side of the river and boat trips. Theres also some great local drink stands with refreshing drinks nearby which I highly recommend.

Every time we visit Dalyan we always hop along the river to visit Caunos/Kaunos to see for ourselves what secrets have been revealed again. If you go prepare for a walk of half an hour (max). It's a nice walk and people along the road sell fresh orange juice/honey/olives and pome granate for a fair price. Enjoy!

You can access the entrance either with ferry departing from Dalyan(if you dont have a car, you can walk 15minutes once you land on the other side) or riding via çandır road. No visitor, no park guy was there when we visited but actually this is a Museum Card zone. Incredibly beatiful, a must visit place

Without a doubt, when Caunos is in question, most people and historians think about the Tombs of the Kings. These tombs belong to the real kinds of Caunos nation, and they are carved into a mountain. In their belief, the dead should be buried and the higher the location of the tomb of the buried, the closer the person could be to the gods. This is why, all these tombs are carved on the top of the mountains, which is almost impossible to climb today. You can enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking scenery of these Tombs of the Kings, which were carved during the 4th century BC. Keep in mind that you can find plenty of beautiful holiday villas to stay in the area by visiting our homepage right now!

Pretty good beach. Definiately try the boat trip! The big yellow shell was 300₺, the other big was 600₺, the smaller ones were 100-100₺, and the small basket was 350₺. There is clean toilet for 10₺, I think its only payed by cash.

This is a beautiful spot to spend the day as you can walk out a long way into the water before it gets deep. There a very few British tourists here and the locals know less English. I will definitely return next year. Great restaurants and good prices. The beach beds are controlled by the local authority at a standard price. The restaurant where we ate gave us free padded sunbed covers.

Very dirty beach. Thebviaitors leave their garbage on the beach. Otherwise the beach would be great. It is Sand not rocks. Good wind for kitesurf in October 12m2 14m2 are usual

You will not believe your eyes when you see the azmak River. Crystal clear water and really cold. Deffinetly swim you will cool down in second in hot summer day

This review is for the river it self. Unbelievable. Never seen anything so natural and amazing. Cristal clear water with incredibly beautiful see weed and fish. A natural aquarium. The boats take you for a tour for very reasonable price.

The river and surrounding ambience is phenomenal. One should really need to hop on a boat and enjoy the slow ride with tremendous scenery. However, I suggest you pack your meal, even get your drinking water with you. The restaurants are below average, sometimes far from edible and truly undeservingly expensive.

Quaint little seaside town about 40 mins from Marmaris with a beautiful landscape and mountains surrounding. Take a leisurely cruise down the river or just chill at one of the wayside cafes. Tranquillity and peace. Awesome place to spend a day and just unwind

Four of us went up to this park on Saturday 23/09/23 , we went on two scooters and were charged 80tl for parking. We were terrified crossing the pallet wood rope bridge , which is very shoddily constructed. The whole place looks filthy . Restaurant is just asking for food poisoning in my opinion. Sanitary is very bad . If I could give negative stars - 2 . Do not waste your time on this place .

I live in the Netherlands, and traveling for 3.400 km with my family in our car was to look for the best unique unforgettable places. The location here is fantastic, a great getaway deep in the valley with fresh water surfaces to walk through safely, but the people who are running the place are a bit far from professional work, asking very high prices for mediocre dishes, and trying to make it feel like westen style but so far from any western or eastern! this place lost it’s identity for a lost staff

Beautiful nature resort but it’s not taken care of. You can spend the whole day here away from the heat of the beaches with the breeze from the mountains and the river. There are many farm animals hanging around which are great accompany for your children.

A lovely place to go wading, swimming, and camping. They have a small take-out place and prices are not too high. Lots of trees and covered rafts with tables and chairs. They're tied up so you don't float away.

Fantastic place with wonderful nature. This is one of the uniqueu camping sites that I ever seen. Although the nature is awesome, the facility is not clean and you can see garbage everywhere. I talked to one of the employees but he complained about people instead of showing any signal for improvement. Please do ask/push managers to keep the nature clean.

The place is good! But the service is extremely bad! They aren’t professional at all! You can’t sleep if you haven’t rented a tenant even if you have rented a full seats for 5 ppl! Every 30 seconds the waiters asked us if we need to order anything, it was annoying and impolite. I recommend you find different places ..

Worth the long village road! Simply stunning in the middle of nature! The river passes through the place and adds an incredibly beautiful atmosphere. The food was very delicious, too. We had Sac Tava, French Fries and fried veggies topped with yoghurt. All the ingredients were so fresh and organic. Prices are very reasonable. We spent 600TL for two. There’s a free parking lot. The personnel is pretty friendly and professional. Overall score 4.4/5 for an Authentic Restaurant

Amazing area in the middle of nature, the breakfast was amazing and very yummy, the atmosphere right by the river with the waterfall view and sounds was out of this world. The waiters were extremely attentive and super friendly, amazing experience.

Impressive! From the atmosphere, food quality to the welcoming, everything was tip-top. We had a mixed meze plate which came with grilled bread and for the mains, the lamb was absolutely ridiculously tasty. Oh, and cheap as chips also. Sweeeeeet caaaaaaave fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind 🔎🛵💨🔥🇹🇷 I was riding out in the middle of nowhere on my way to the next location marked on my map when all of a sudden I noticed out of the corner of my eye a very small sign with the Turkish word for cave... Magarasi 🤩🤩🤩 This cave was not marked on Google Maps (Until now... Added courtesy of yours truly 😉) and was not very far out of my way...... Sooooo of course I had to go up the mountainside to check out what the real story was! This place was totally bananas! I'm absolutely elated that I made the decided to make it up here to check this place out because it had some of my favorite cave things! Fossilized and non fossilized bone remnants from bison, jackals, and even ancient mammoths! 🤯🤯🤯 I love when caves are lit up with different color high intensity lights because you can really see the differentiation in these stalactites and stalagmites. Without these colored LED lights this cave would have still been very beautiful but since it is a dead cave it really does not have very much color to it. Honestly this was a really fantastic treat 👨‍🎨🎨⛰️👌 When I pulled up to this cave there was a group of about seven kids who were high school aged (or younger) and apparently in charge of running the place... Not one word of English was spoken but they were very friendly and quite curious about my motorcycle and where I was coming from I'm the United States. They charged me the 5 Lira entrance fee and proceeded to give me the full nickel tour in Turkish 😂🤣😂 You never know what you're in for when you're on the adventuuuure 🛵💨🔥🔥🔥 I'm so hAaAaAaAappy I kept my eyes peeled and found this little cavern out in the middle of nowhere by sheer luck... Or was it coincidence? You decided 🍀🌠🤞

Very Interesting Karstic Cave, overlooking the Acipayam Plain

We drove from Antalya to Salda Lake, and the drive was smooth and easy, with clear roads. The lake itself is visible from a distance, but the main tourist area is a bit further inside. Positives: •Great for Photography: The lake offers stunning views that are perfect for photography enthusiasts. •Fresh Air: The surroundings are refreshing, providing a great escape into nature. •Beautiful Views: The lake’s unique turquoise waters make for an amazing sight. Improvement: •Cleanliness of Shoreline: While the lake is beautiful overall, the shore could be cleaner. Extra Note: Be cautious of honey bees in the area. One seemed especially interested in my wife, leaving her with a memorable sting! A picturesque spot with minor drawbacks, Salda Lake is worth visiting for nature lovers and photographers.

I thought it was underwhelming but my wife thought it was great. It was on the way to Pamukkale from Sagalassos so worth a short detour. We just waded in, but some people were swimming. I can't say I noticed any special healing powers ;)

Beautiful tranquil lake. Not crowded when I visited in an October afternoon.

We were pretty hyped about coming here after reading it. The lake is a unique experience, but was not exactly what we thought. We went to a campground on the NW side of the lake and there was a sign saying "Prohibited entry to lake" with no exploration as to why. We didn't know if it was due to no lifeguard or because of something harmful in the water. We continued to drive around to the east side where there is a restaurant. We ate there (better food than expected) and they said we could get in the lake, which the kids did. All in all it's a neat experience, but we didn't see anything around the lake that actually talked about the significance of it. And there wasn't a single dock; we didn't see any boats, canoes, etc.

What an amazing nature and beauty about this place which is unbelievable, lake is super huge and we went from one corner to another even the village is so beautiful while going to Salda Lake. A must place to visit and also there restaurants and coffee shops around some key spots with restroom facilities.

I loved the warm water mixed with the cold water, however I thought that the rocks were slippery and pointy. I recommend wearing socks while walking on the hot spring.

Apparently, €30 isn’t enough for just two pools and an amphitheater. They’ll sneak in an extra €10 charge for some cheap, ugly earphones, presented as if they’re doing you a favor, without even telling you you’ve already been billed... How evil is that? (If this happens to you, don’t let it slide. Insist on a refund, they’ll give it back if you push.) Also the place looks beautiful only in the pictures, totally not worth it.

Beautiful natural park (without entrance fee) near the travertines of Pamukkale. It's a nice place to relax and watch the sunset.

this is a park at the foot of the travertines. In the park there is a small pond where ducks swim, and there is also a cafe where you can drink coffee. excellent view of the travertines from below. you can walk around the park, as well as ride catamarans for 40 lire.

One of the best places in Turkey! Although not as famous as other destinations, its surely as stunning as the rest, if not more! The park itself is breathtaking. Unlike anything I've ever seen. Its taken really good care of. You have to take of your shoes and socks and walk barefoot up the 'cotton' mountain. But be aware, its not really cotton check the photos im uploading. The floor is very rough and at some points painful to step on, but thats the beauty of the place. Its so Natural and untouched. The water is remarkable as well. I went in early November and the weather was perfect. Many paragliding companies offer trip over the beautiful city to enhance the experience as well. Would highly recommend paragliding over the city. Also great ruins behind the mountain to see.

It’s not a huge park but tiny, quiet and good to take a walk around the pond. There’s one island in the middle of the pond, many geese take a rest there. Rent a duck boat is 6TL for 10mins. It was nice! 👍🏼🦆

We were attending this attraction on Saturday, 11 o'clock. It took us 3.5 hours to get there from Fethiye so we couldn't make it earlier and we were ready to see many people inside , even though it wasn't high season anymore. You make a big circle on the car to get to the official parking lot, pay 120 tl for parking and then get through the gates. In October 2025 1 ticket costs 30 Euro and you pay in liras. Then you start your journey using a golf car or walking The territory is huge. At first, you walk through the ancient city and it takes you around 20 minutes to get to the travertines. There are not many people around, they are all chilling at the pools. There's a beautiful garden and mountains around your way, many benches and tables for the picnic which is really nice. You can also visit the museum and the ancient theatre. The travertines are very beautiful in the sunlight. Not all of them are filled with water but you can still take great pictures Some people get deep down so they are alone in the bigger area, all of the tourists are concentrated on top of the pools. You need to take of the shoes to get there, the stones can be slippery but the water is pretty warm. The views around are breathtaking! You can also enjoy your time at the cafes right next to the travertines and get some snacks. So I'd say it was worth visiting once in the life time (in the sunny weather and preferably earlier on the weekday) however the entrance fee is very high and I'm not sure it's equivalent to the experience you get

Pamukkale is impressive from the first step. The snow-white terraces and azure pools look almost unreal, like a natural chalk castle. Hiking trails allow you to get close to the cascades; the water is warm and pleasantly tickles your feet. There are many tourists, so peaceful photos are rare-arrive early in the morning or late in the evening. There's an entrance fee, and some terraces are closed for conservation, but the overall view is breathtaking. Nearby Hierapolis boasts a well-preserved Roman amphitheater it's worth a visit. Bring comfortable shoes, a swimsuit, and water; don't leave litter and respect the securit rules. I highly recommend it it's one of those places that's easier to experience than to describe.

It is an amazing natural formation by accumulating minerals from the flowing hot spring water. There is a dedicated section where tourists can experience travertine and hot spring water under their feet. It is required to enter the travertine area without shoes and socks. There is a self serve cafeteria. There are always a huge number of tourists visiting it. Considering that there is an entry fee, the authority could increase the number of WC facilities.

A magical place for me! The real experience of walking barefoot (like most) or with some bathing shoes in this white marvel is bar none. Even though there is a lot of water, I found the surfaces to be not slippery at all. You can spend a few hours just running around the hill. Enterprise of €30 is a bit steep.

We entered through the South Gate, which is the closest entrance to the travertines. If you’re visiting with children, elderly people, or anyone with walking difficulties, it’s better to take a buggy car — tickets for it are available right after the ticket check. The amphitheatre is a bit uphill, but worth the short climb. Many of the travertine pools had water during our visit, and all the main attractions — the travertines, ancient amphitheatre, Cleopatra Pool, and other monuments — are located within the same area. Unfortunately, the Cleopatra Pool was closed for renovation when we visited. Please note that the entry gate opens only at 8 a.m. We arrived at 6:30 a.m. but were told that even the parking area gates would open only at 8 a.m. We still got to enjoy watching the hot air balloons take off around 6:30 a.m. from outside the gate, which was a beautiful experience.

Very beautiful place. Very interesting. It is better to come with short clothes or a swimsuit. It's just a shame that it's so expensive for tourists. For tourists 30 euros and for Turks 4 euros. At the checkout they are trying to sell headphones For 10 euros. That they don't need them at all.

It’s definitely an attraction worth visiting, but I don’t feel the €30 entrance fee is justified. The place is rich in history and the audio guide shares fascinating stories from the past, making it a wonderful site to learn from. Still, the price feels a bit too high. I hope the government could consider lowering the entrance fee or at least offering discounted rates for groups. The colors give the impression of being painted, and uncovering the history behind them makes the experience truly engaging.

Great day out, very pretty and amazing sight. The salt was a bit hard on your feet at times as you can't wear shoes until you get to the top. It was nice to paddle in the pools.

We enjoyed ourselves and it was very informative. The ruins are cool especially the reconstructions but also just lots of columns and carving laying about. The museum was also very good. It was hot but there are numerous fountains and shady benches and picnic tables, cafe prices are relatively reasonable considering.

Beautiful site, but frustrating experience Hierapolis is stunning, with incredible ancient ruins and breathtaking views. However, the visitor experience could be much better. They charge $10 for Bluetooth headphones, but you can’t even use them during the tour, which feels misleading. While the history and scenery are worth seeing, the management of tours and extra charges leaves a lot to be desired.

If you love going back in time to see how the ancient people lived, then this is a must see place. The amphitheater is mind blowing and breathe taking. This was a city that had Roman influence and the artifacts and carving were mind boggling.

Completely bad ass. Mega old city up on a hill. The tomb of Philip the Apostle, BTW it's empty. Calcium pools at sunrise, i cut my foot in there. Balloons at sunrise...way cool. Oh and the Gates of Hell. You can't go in there because, yep, you'll die. WOO HOO!!!

It's a quiet good place but to much people and looks kinda artificial. Not enough water and it could be very hot in a sunny day. And in the entrance they try to scam you. They'll give you 30 euro tickets then will charge like 40 euros and won't even ask if you wanna pay or not I just realized it because I was paying for few people and the money it deducted was like insane then I asked them why have I been charged extra they said that they gave me a headphone that I never asked for then somehow I managed to return the head phone and get refunded but I bet 90% of people who are paying by a card won't even notice

Nice place to see some history, be prepared to walk and get lots of sun. Has some cafes for food and drink Be aware that if you want to walk down you need to go barefoot. Otherwise you're taking one of the roads back down (long way). There is parking even outside the lot along the road and some other places for free.

Cleopatra pool is under renovation and the fence around it doesn’t let you even see inside. Also, the travertine pools are nearly all drained. There are 3 hidden ones you can wade in but don’t expect much for pictures. That being said the ruins are quite impressive and the museum is well done.

Just a few steps from the travertine terraces, this peaceful park is full of ancient ruins, shady trees, and calm paths to wander. Well worth the visit and remember to bring swimming clothes. The water is warm around 28°C and I would set aside about 1 to 2 hours. They also have the food court in the same vicinity so grabbing a bite to eat and getting something to drink is a recommendation. The earlier you arrive the better and avoiding the late morning to afternoon rush is the way to go.

One of the must visit places to experience if you go to Hierapolis...this Antique pool is known to have Thermal water with minerals which is good for your body...Honestly it is an experience worth to have.. The pool is so relaxing with warm water but be careful of the big rocks inside the pool, when you swim or walk inside the pool. The water is not very deep and you can relaxing by sitting on the big rocks. Cafe, Toilets, Lockers, shower and changing places are available by the pool. Overall very good experience.

Visited Pamukkale 5th March 25. Really disappointed S & S travel by the Orange Bazzar Lara Beach didn't tell us that the Cleopatra pool had been closed since January 25. Also there are only 3 little water filled pools on the travetines as the images you see online are either very old photo shopped as the area now looks nothing like any photos. I will say however the Hierapolis are as shown online images and pretty impressive. The tour guide lifted up a wooden pallet that had been placed over part of an open aqueduct, this was the only bit of water that you could touch that was warm. The water in the 3 pools on the travetines was just above the ankles and was probably from the recent down pour of rain it was freezing cold. If you like ancient Roman ruins its worth going. If you want to see beautiful filled travetine pools don't bother they no longer exist

The pools are closed and dry of water, the lady in the entrance she will till you 30 euro, and once u try to pay with card she will add 10 euro without telling you. So basically scamming you. Luckily for me I checked before tapping my card. It’s just some old stones that they call it history.

The pool is closed while a new structure is built around it. The guards told us that the pool would re-open in October 2025.

The Hierapolis Ancient Theater is truly impressive — one of the main highlights when visiting Pamukkale. I came here as part of a tour group, so I didn’t take any local guide, but the tour provided enough info to appreciate the site. You can take a buggy to the top for around USD 50, but honestly, it’s not worth it — walking is much better and gives you time to enjoy the scenery. But if you cant walk then you'll need to take it then. There’s a WC available nearby, but the ladies’ WC tends to get crowded. Around the Cotton Castle area, there are a few shops and cafés, but prices are on the higher side. It gets quite hot here, so bring sunscreen, a hat, and some water. Overall, it’s a great experience and definitely worth the walk!

This is an ancient Greek theatre. The theatre is well preserved. It is large and built of stones. You can walk on the stairs and enjoy the view. A guide is recommended to understand about this place. A must visit spot in Hierapolis.

Stage area reconstruction is impressive and the overall steepness of the seating area is cool. Definitely worth the walk.

Marvellous natural formation. It is the second Pamukkale but in the cave. The road is terrible, it is not part of museum card. The stairs are under water so be prepared.

This is a cool cave to explore! Not very large but very interesting. We took our shoes off to walk because the path is flooded. Next to the cave is a public park with playground, picnic area and a lovely swimming pool with fresh water flowing through it. And clean toilet too!

Cool place to visit if you are driving near by. It is like mini Pamukkale under the ground. It is worth going in with swimming shoes or beach shoes as the cave ground is full of water. There is a big parking lot and the parking is included to the price. The site itself is small, it doesn’t take long to see the cave. There is a pool outdoors where you can swim. It was filled with kids mainly. There are changing rooms and showers that are free of charge. There are no sun beds by the pool therefore not comfortable to stay longer by the pool. In one of the water sources there are lots of many turtles 🐢

The cave is about a 45-minute drive from Pamukkale by car and is not close to any other tourist attraction site. You pay at the entrance (not sure if the Müze Kart option is admissible here) and they let you take your car inside where a decent parking lot is available. It can accommodate buses too. 2. When I went in May 2025, toilets were still unfinished (under construction), so I expect they will be ready in a couple of months. Until then, toilets in petrol stations on your way are a must if you’re “in distress”. 3. As soon as you park and get out of your car, you start to smell a bad odor, very much similar to that of rotten eggs or sewers. I first thought that the odor is coming from a nearby open sewage manhole but, instead of decreasing as I moved towards the cave entrance, it increased. It turned out that the smell is emitted from the cave and (as I discovered later) it is due to the Sulphur-based chemical composition of the water inside. The severity of the smell is not to be underestimated. To me, it was striking and made me cut my visit short. If you have breathing problems or are an odor-sensitive person, don’t come. Note that the vapors inside the cave do not represent a hazard to a healthy person. Just repelling. 4. The wooden/concrete stairs running into the depth of the cave are slippery and the water runs over them with abundance. The water and the slipping risk necessitate wearing suitable shoes before coming: waterproof up to the ankle and slip resistant. Some people in other reviews recommended wearing flip-flops but I’m strongly against that. Flip-flops are extremely slippery. 5. If you suffer from knee issues you might face difficulties. Though handrails are available, the height & span of the stair treads are irregular. 6. There are bats in the cave, a lot of bats, but seemingly harmless. Hope my review was helpful. Small compared to some famous cave systems. But the travertine is lively. It was very cheap to get in and we had it almost to ourselves. Definitely worth a visit

Amazing cave. The size is small, it takes maximum 5 mins to walk around + photos 10 min. In summer time they have a pool with thermal water, in winter the pool is empty. On the territory there are a toilet and a small shop where you can buy sweets and drinks.

This is a well preserved cave located in Denizli, Turkey. It is a short and easy hike to the cave entrance, and the cave itself is not very large, but it is still a beautiful sight to see. The natural water that flows through the cave is a beautiful turquoise color, and the cave walls are covered in stunning travertine formations. The cave is open to visitors for a small fee, and the hike to the entrance is only about 10 minutes long. Once you reach the cave, you can walk through the main chamber and admire the natural beauty of the cave. There are also a few small side chambers that you can explore. The cave is not very large, so you can easily see it all in about 30 minutes. However, the short visit is well worth it for the chance to see such a beautiful natural wonder.
