Your amazing ride starts in the center of chamonix, there you will take the most thrilling cable car ride if you life. With the best views, grass that turns u to snow, and trees that turn into massive cliffs. Aguille du midi is a must for everyone. The views at the top are truly out of this world and make you seem so small. Would recommend to everyone visiting chamonix. Give out of five stars

Wow!!! Just stunning. Exceptional views 360. Will do again. Review will not do any justice. You just have to go. Nice cafe as well. Stairs from elevator to cafe was a bit of a drag in the thin air. Wife’s lips turned purple from lack of oxygen. Be aware of the signs.

Absolutely astonishing views from the top. A must visit location in Chamonix!! It's pricey but worth each cent. Turnaround ticket for adult is 95€. Check the webcam before to make sure that it is sunny on the top as the weather differs alot and clouds in the valley do not mean clouds on top.

Incredible view . The beauty is breathtaking. You can see the highest peak in Europe from afar. Many people paragliding here. It is a must-visit place in life.

The cable bus from the Chamonix city with a change over in between takes you to the peak of Aiguille du Midi. This peak is exactly in the border of France and Italy. A 20 minutes journey of ten each takes you to the peak. To see the mont blanc, you have to take a pass like temporary visa to the italian side and from the peak to which a lift is taking you, you can see the mont blanc. There is also a glass cage with dead drop bottom. The view from the top is magnificient. It takes you to the view of entire iced surroundings. The mont blanc is the highest peak of Alps. More famous for limited edition pen. They are allowing a total of 2 and half hours to see and come back. On a sunny day, the views are beautiful. The climate is sometimes minus in the peak

A breathtaking journey to the highest peak in the Alps on the Italian-French border Starting from the Italian city Courmayeur, a charming town 1,300 meters above sea level, I began my ascent via the Skyway Monte Bianco. I purchased a round-trip ticket for €63.5 at the main station. Punta Helbronner (3,467 m): The final destination was magical. The temperature dropped to around 1.8°C with a light wind, making it refreshingly crisp. From here, a 92-meter below a tunnel leads to a ski station and an open-air restaurant. I made my way to the top terrace—what a view! Standing above the clouds with 360° views of the Alps was an indescribably beautiful and humbling experience. Breathtaking panoramic views of the highest mountain in Europe. Even though I was there at a pretty cloudy day, view was just one of its kind. I was disappointed that the triple cable car was open only one way to France, and nobody could return (because of different regulations).

Wonderful day trip in summer up this mountain via cable car. Don't miss the Refugio and the area covered in snow beside the Refugio.

Stunning views of mountain peaks, an entire glass wall dedicated to local gemstones alongside a view of Mont Blanc and a lovely little cafe where you can sip quality coffee while you admire the peaks! Even though during my visit there were quite a few clouds, the various platforms and views from this height were spectacular. It does get cold at the top observation deck (since you are standing around) so I would recommend an ultralight down! To get around the observation decks (external) you do need to do some stairs, but the building (internal) itself with the cafe and viewing areas is fully accessible! From this point, you could pay for the additional trip on the Mont Blanc Panoramic cable car that takes you over to Aiguille du Midi! I would also recommend going early- so you get fewer clouds and crowds!

Avoriaz is, without a doubt, the best ski resort we’ve ever been to — and that’s saying a lot after more than 30 years of skiing! Everything is designed for maximum comfort, with ski-in/ski-out access from almost everywhere. The resort is fully pedestrian, which makes getting around incredibly easy and safe. The staff is genuinely kind and helpful, and to our surprise, we haven’t had to queue at all for the chairlifts — even during busy hours. And the snow? Absolutely amazing, even at the very end of the season. We’ll definitely be coming back — and recommending Avoriaz to everyone we know!

This beautiful ski resort is very active in the summer with plenty for the family to stay active. Whether mountain biking, hiking giant games of checkers, chess and tennis plus trampoline. The aquatic center is an excellent family swim . The beautiful French Alps surrounding the town

Great skiing resort. We went over new year so was a bit busy but also great New Years Eve celebrations and midnight fireworks were amazing. All staff we talked to ( in hotel, restaurants, shops etc ) were lovely and friendly. Would recommend for 1st time skiers , families or someone who likes ski fun parks too

Love Avoriaz. It’s like home - a nice friendly place. Resort is great, slopes are fantastic. Its can get overcrowded at vacation time and some places are overpriced but overall its a great place for a skiing holiday. No cars in the resort, only horse-drawn carriages which gives it a special atmosphere, along with the wood-covered buildings which blend into the countryside.

What a lovely ski resort in French Alps. Beautiful place with no cars alowed. By winter, there is a taxi from centre, horse pulled sleigh. They give you a blanket to cover legs, so you could not catch a cold 🙃 I will come back in summer, to see again this paradise!

Lovely and wintery with snow all around in this high altitude snow sure resort. Cars aren't allowed in the town so it's safe to walk around too. A bit artificial in feel though compared with nearby more traditional resorts, partly due to its newness, so this may make it feel less homely and welcoming in the summer. Wonderful in the winter though. Great skiing too.

Truly memorable place, great people (one or two not so good!) totally ski in/ ski out place scenery to die for and something for everyone from the beginners to the more experienced skiers. Bars and restaurants great apart from a certain Italian! Booking our return trip!

I highly recommend talking a walk up through the old town to the cathedral. It's free, and a beautiful building with lots to see. You'll also get some great views of Lausanne from the front. If you want even better views you can pay a small fee and climb the bell-tower. This gives you 360 degree views of the city. Absolutely epic on a clear day. It's not for the faint-hearted or those with vertigo. Also not for those with major mobility problems. I use a walking stick due to bone spurs in my ankle and I made it OK. Just had to take it a bit slower.

Impressive cathedral with wonderful views of the town. A bit of a climb up steps if one takes the wrong route, but in any case well worth a visit. Large, quiet, peaceful, stained glass, statues, carvings, small and unobtrusive gift shop. Not overly commercial, and free to enter, as it should be but in some churches is not. Lausanne Cathedral is a stunning Gothic masterpiece. Its intricate facade and soaring interior inspire awe, while the serene ambiance invites reflection. The view from the tower is breathtaking. A must-see for its architectural beauty and historical significance.

Well maintained castle, modestly furnished, with a collection of interesting frescoes and murals. Strategically built on a small island, it used both the Lake Geneva and a moat created between the island and the mainland for defense. Our group had arrived in the late afternoon just in time to enjoy free wine tasting of some local wines, then proceeded to explore the medieval halls and underground chambers. The view from some rooms onto the lake and the Alps is stunning. It is the most visited monument in Switzerland.

This lakeside Castle with breathtaking view was stunning, pictures didn't do it justice. Its magical setting made it one of Switzerland’s most enchanting landmarks. I fully enjoyed my visit, highly recommend.

Château de Chillon is actually really big to explore, especially with the guided map they provide you. I was so tired, a lot of exploring new rooms that never seem like it would end. If you didn’t know, this castle inspired Prince Eric’s in The Little Mermaid. You can hear tons of water sounds by the prison area. It was relative peaceful for me as there weren’t much crowds and kids, so sometimes I got to explore rooms alone.

Beautiful castle (Little Mermaid was inspired on it) with lots of history. I really recommend taking the audio guide which is super complete. It lets you wonder alone around the castle which is a magical experience. The castle is in great conservation, and the dungeons are particularly beautiful. Would recommend this visit if you’re around. You can buy tickets directly upon arrival, and the audio guide takes like 2h to complete

The best view I’ve had from any castle I’ve visited so far. The castle is beautifully preserved, with authentic medieval furnishings that clearly took great effort to maintain. It’s generously open to the public, with access to nearly every corner—even up the creaky wooden staircases, which add to the sense of stepping back in time. Free entry for Swiss pass holders. Two hours or longer is needed.

Fascinating experience. We spent several hours wandering through the castle. The careful preservation of this site allows an understanding of history, with excellent access to all areas both indoors and outdoors and detailed information boards throughout. It is also a lovely lakeside walk from Montreux (after ferry from Lausanne) and a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating is opposite. A truly wonderful morning.

Chillon Castle is a medieval island castle located on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, near Montreux. It is the most visited historic monument in Switzerland. Come for their nice history and good lake views, indeed very photo worthy! After all it’s free with SWISS TRAVEL PASS.

Great tour with ear phones you point to displays and learn more. I spoke to a chocolate decorator who has been there 25 yrs and he loves working there. Learn how to evaluate chocolate quality and taste and then get to sample many varieties of their chocolates. Superb place!

Absolutely worth a visit! Maison Cailler is an amazing experience from start to finish. There’s plenty of parking space, which makes visiting super convenient. Inside, you get to enjoy lots of free tastings of their delicious, high-quality chocolates every bite is a treat! My family enjoyed it so much The museum is beautifully done, fun, and educational great for both adults and kids. Outside, there’s a lovely park where children can play and enjoy the fresh air while you take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside. A perfect spot for families, chocolate lovers, and anyone visiting Switzerland. Highly recommended!

We went on their tour, and it was an good experience! They had a ton of free samples and some really cool education and history. I wouldn’t drive there for 3 hours, but if you’re in the area, it’s definitely a nice stop.

It’s a really interesting museum! I love how they present their history in such an interactive way, and the chocolate tasting was a great touch. Truly an experience for both adults and children! 🍫

Cailler museum was a pure delight. There was a separate production line just for samples. Loved every bit of the museum from the history of chocolates to modern day chocolate making in Switzerland. Of course the free samples and the discounted chocolates in the gift store were icing on the top!

The Cailler chocolate factory is a very interesting place to visit, with a well-designed tour that shows the history and production process. The experience is enjoyable and the chocolate tasting is definitely a highlight. It is a bit expensive, but still worth it for the quality of the visit. The shop at the end is excellent, offering a wide selection of high-quality chocolates and gifts

Arriving was a little intimidating. We went at a 4:00 on a Sunday, and the line waiting to enter the tour was already out the door. The way they have their store set up is very aesthetically pleasing. A whole wall full of chocolate bars! The tour its self was very entertaining. You are lead through different rooms where they tell you the story of their factory, with each room heavily decorated to tell you part of the story, going perfectly along with the audio tour. They had a chocolate machine making little chocolates right in front of you, which, after being wrapped, were then placed in a bowl specifically for you to eat! They had multiple testing stations after that, which I loved. It was all around worth every penny.

If you love historic buildings, Bern’s Old City is a must-see. The medieval architecture is stunning, and the streets are beautifully clean and well-organized. Shops are thoughtfully placed, so you can enjoy the views while exploring. A truly charming and unforgettable experience!

In my opinion, Bern's old town is one of the most beautiful and compact in the world. Its specialty is the arcades formed by the old buildings lining the streets. The arcades are lined with shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc. It is worth walking around the old town, also along the banks of the Aare River, and climbing to the Rosengarten to admire the magnificent view of the old town. Every time I visit Bern I feel amazed.

LOVE this pretty place! So historic and colorful, tons of lovely photo spots! Love the iconic fountain and huge clock tower, as well as all the cute trains and buses that came in different shapes and sizes 🚂🚌🇨🇭❤️. Was glad I dropped by Bern - after all it’s the capital of Switzerland, and a must drop by imo, even if it’s for a short day trip! 😆 I was really happy to be here 🥰👍.

A beautiful town, probably the nicest in Switzerland. In the morning it is less crowded and the streets are well conserved. The prices are really high, which makes the costs hardly affordable for foreigners

You are unwinding the clock back 500 years ago to experience the lifestyle in medieval time. The old street (made of sandstones), clock tower, cathedral surrounded by garden and river are breathtaking.

Beautiful and quaint little old town in the capital of Switzerland! I got there early so the streets were rather empty and it was nice taking a slow stroll down this street. The street was lined with familiar brands/shops, the trams ran down both sides and I almost felt like I was transported back to medieval times - except the modern shops bring me back to the present. If you walk further down, you’ll end up at the Bear Pit, another little tourist attraction of Bern.

Absolutely breathtaking. The top of Europe it prides itself as. 3475M of elevation. A must visit if you're in Grindelwald. You have to change trains twice to get up here but the views are amazing. Theres different stations that you can go to and there's an ice station as well. You can easily spend 2 to 3 hours here.

There’s no denying it: the Jungfraujoch is one of the most spectacular spots in all of Switzerland. The panorama is simply breathtaking — an endless sea of snow and glaciers framed by the iconic peaks of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. It’s the kind of place that makes you whisper “wow” before you even realize you’re doing it. That said, the experience is very tourist-oriented — and I say that with both appreciation and a smile. On the one hand, it’s impressive how accessible everything is: tunnels, elevators, shops, cafés, even an ice palace. The Swiss engineering behind this mountaintop infrastructure deserves applause. On the other hand, the sheer number of visitors can make you feel like you’ve taken a scenic detour through a luxury shopping mall at 3,500 meters. And then there’s the crowd itself — a fascinating, unstoppable wave of excited tourists from all over the world. You haven’t truly experienced the Jungfraujoch until you’ve seen a group of people taking selfies in sneakers at nearly 4,000 meters above sea level. It’s equal parts surreal and entertaining — like a nature documentary directed by Wes Anderson. All in all, the Jungfraujoch remains an unforgettable experience. It’s beautiful, over-the-top, slightly chaotic, and absolutely worth it. Just don’t expect solitude or silence — and maybe bring sunglasses, patience, and a good sense of humor along with your camera.

Absolutely stunning, snow all round the year, less tourist compared to Titlis. A nice tour route set up. You will clearly need 5 hrs and more if you want to enjoy every spot at your pace. The snowtubing and sledging were absolute fun. 20 CHF for Half hour and unlimited rides. Ice palace was beautifully carved. The hot chocolate shop at Aletsch glacier was yummy. Point to note- you have to walk a lot there, but for older people and people who are unable to walk a lot, there are places to sit in the warmth of the tunnel and enjoy the views.

The clouds drift low, brushing past rooftops like wandering spirits, and every path leads to vistas that feel almost unreal, as if the mountains had stepped out of a painting and invited you to walk inside. Mürren is not merely a place to visit; it is a place to feel. A place where time loosens its grip, where every breath tastes of pine and glacier, and where the heart instinctively slows to the rhythm of the land. It is Switzerland at its most enchanting—quiet, majestic, and impossibly beautiful.

An absolute must see if you're in the Jungfrau region. The views of the Alps are unreal. The viewing platform at the Sphinx and the area with the flags lower down give the best photo opportunities. The ice sculptures are worth checking out.

The number one attraction as well as the most expensive attention in all of Switzerland. It cost about $500 usd for two people. The gondola ride up is amazing and the best cable car ride in the world. After the cable car you arrive at eigen glacier which is also very beautiful, then you take the train up to jungfraujoch and the train stops in the middle for you to see another glacier. Once you’re at the top there are several stations you can take a look at most of which can be seen in the photos I posted. You’ll also want to check their public webcam to make sure the weather is good on the day you come.

If you’re a fan of classic cars, this museum is a mustsee. The collection is vast and seems endless, with many beautifully preserved vintage models. During my visit, there was also a special Tintin exhibition, which made it even more enjoyable.

This was a quick day trip for us while staying in Basel. Amazing collection of automotive history and well worth spending a few hours to explore. The collection of cars from the Tintin books was very cool, particularly if you're a Tintin fan like me!

DEFINITELY A MUST if you're in Mulhouse area, east France. The fact that Musée National de l'Automobile has an collection of more than 400+ cars ranging from more than 100 years ago, is amazing itself. Not to mention they have probably the world most complete collection of Bugatti, like almost a hundred of them. And one of them in the Masterpiece area, the 1936 50T Cabriolet, is now the world most expensive vehicle, worth 100M Euro !!! The details of it, and the idea of building a luxury car back to almost 100 years ago, is really highly admired.

One of the best car museums i’ve ever been. It’s really worth every penny you’re paying for it. Tons of great, rare and unique pieces you will find there. Nice location, brilliant realisation. All cars are in good condition, and like in any other real museum, you can smell oil, gasoline and old leather from them. If you have kids or you just unbelievably love cars, you’ll be happy there

Millions of dollars worth of cars, and they couldn’t get a decent translator for the placards? Honestly it became kind of amusing just how bad the English translations were after a while. The cars are stunning, there is no denying that. Arguably the most complete collection of vintage Bugattis in the world (but surprisingly no modern ones - no Chiron, EB110, not even a Veyron? Maybe they’re locked away somewhere else) 1/4 of the cars in the main hall were covered in white drapes due to construction. To the contractors/ museum officials, I say to you: “ plastic sheeting comes in transparent forms”. Overall a vanity project of a (now dead) rich white guy but there’s some stellar automotive and racing history laid out in these rooms. You’re in Mulhouse, you’re likely gonna go.

Quite possibly one of the greatest car collections in the world. The outside is Beautifully presented... Upon entering the building you have no idea of how overwhelming this place can be. As you begin walking around and seeing a few cars you get lulled into it being a normal museum.... But then you walk into the room with a few Bugattis... You keep walking and seeing more Bugattis... Then you realise, one whole side is just Bugattis 🤯 Then you see the Bugatti Royale.. and realise hold on the have two Bugatti Royales 🤯 .. This place is crazy the sheer number of Bugattis and special cars is crazy... Then the story of the Schlumpf brothers ... Simply put, if you are a car lover you must come here... It's epic.. The shock value never diminishes even after multiple trips

One of the best car collections I have seen. From old to new and some extremely rare peices. We spent about 3 hours in here. There were lots of other things inside to keep children entertained too. There was a section all about Tintin which showed the different books and the cars linked to it which was nice. There was a driving simulator, small ride on cars and a vr F1 experience.

Definitely worth the visit, the building is beautifully crafted. If you walk behind the building you will have an excellent view overlooking the River. Lots of people were having picnics and relaxing here.

Solo travelers are not allowed to climb the towers, for suicide prevention reasons. You can find another tourist and ask to accompany them, but without the employee seeing this. Don't let them know you are strangers. There's a small fee to climb the towers and it's well worth it. Basel Minster was built between the 11th and 16th centuries in a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. After the 1356 earthquake, it was significantly rebuilt incorporating Gothic elements such as pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and large stained-glass windows. The cathedral is made of red sandstone and is notable for its two main towers, St. George’s and St. Martin’s, and its patterned tile roof. The Minster served as the Catholic cathedral until the Reformation in 1529, after which it became a Reformed Protestant church. The Gallus Gate at Basel Minster is the oldest Romanesque figure portal in the German-speaking world, built around 1185. In the tympanum is Christ as Judge of the World, accompanied by Peter and a donor figure, while the lintel below shows the Parable of the Ten Virgins. During the Reformation in Basel (1529), iconoclasm took place at Basel Minster as part of the city’s shift from Catholicism to Protestantism. Religious images, statues, and altars that were seen as idolatrous were removed or destroyed. The interior today remains relatively bare compared to its original medieval design.

It was originally built in the 1000’s as a Roman Catholic Cathedral and became a Protestant church. There’s no fee to get in the church but there’s a fee to go up the top. Behind the church is the Rhine River.

Don’t miss the chance to reach the top of the church. While climbing, it might seem like you’ve reached the end, but be sure to check—there’s a good chance there’s a way to go even higher."

Had a free walk around then spotted people paying to go up the towers. We tried this for a small charge and it's well worth the steep steps to go to the 3 levels available. Bit tight at times depending on how many people go up but numbers are controlled.

Basel Minster is absolutely worth a visit! I’ve climbed several church towers across Switzerland, but this one had the narrowest spire staircase I’ve ever squeezed through! It’s a bit of a tight spiral toward the top, but that only adds to the adventure. Once you reach the viewing platform, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of Basel, the Rhine, and even into France and Germany on a clear day. The cathedral itself is beautifully maintained, with intricate stonework and a peaceful courtyard. It’s a perfect mix of charm, challenge, and postcard-worthy scenery. Don’t miss it!

If you're in or neat Lucerne Mount Pilatus is a must see. I took the train from Lucerne to Alpnachstad and then took the cog train up the mountain. I had absolutely perfect weather and the views were stunning. There is a restaurant multiple lookout points and a few trails I hiked. I then took the gondola down the other side of the mountain. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views all around. Be careful about visiting during spring, as parts of the viewing decks may be closed because of snow as late as early june in my experience. The facilities are new and very nice. I would recommend to take the cog rail up, and the gondola down the mountain for the best experience. Worth every penny.

The staff were helpful and very professional, making the experience smooth from start to finish. Whether you take the world’s steepest cogwheel railway or the aerial cableways, the adventure is incredible in every way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Switzerland — Mount Pilatus truly feels like being on top of the world!

What a spectacular place! If you are visiting Switzerland, spend some hours at Mt. Pilatus. I took the steap railway to the top, but you can also choose to hike.

Mount Pilatus was definitely a highlight of the trip to Switzerland. The weather in mid September was cooperative (it was as warm and sunny on the mountain as in Lucerne). Classic trip as advised: bus, cable cars to the mountain and trip back via cog-wheel train and lake cruise ending in Lucerne. Nature beauty is unreal, hiking a few paths at the top (paved or stairs) is almost a must. Utter surprise how tasty were the local beef hot dogs at the fast food joint on the mountain.

Beautiful mountains. There are many activities. Suspension bridge, glacier cave,cliff walk etc. I visited in the mid of August. Because of rain and fog they closed Suspension bridge. Cliff walk also not done, Because of poor visibility. We should avoid visiting if the weather is bad. But the cable car ride was too good I could not take pictures much Because of the weather. They have restaurant in the 2nd floor. , coffee station, souvenir shop etc. One should wear good layers even in summer time. Because it's cold on top of the hills. Carry umbrella, rain coat, gloves.

Good but not great. Titlis is widely popular as a budget friendly alternative to expensive Jungfraujoch which results in huge crowds coming here even on weekdays. The rotating cable car is always overcrowded. On the top level, there are activities like 'I love Titlis' photospot, Titlis cliff walk, Ice caves with ice sculptures and DDLJ cutout for Indians. Ice Flyer requires an extra ticket to be purchased. However will not recommended it as crowd spoils everything here. The restaurant on top is good and you can also bring packed food and eat in seating area there enjoying stunning views from windows. On first level from where you change to Rotating cable car there is snow park which has activities like snow tubing and sledging which are free. I enjoyed snow tubing it was great fun and a must do. There is also free shuttle service from Engleberg station to Titlis base. One star deducted for excessive crowds. The snow on top is very very slippery so mind your steps. If you are looking for privacy and calm experience, I would recommend to skip Titlis and go to other swiss snow mountains like Schilthorn, Matterhorn glacier paradise, Gornergrat Matterhorn or Glacier 3000 which are less crowded.

It was an unforgettable experience for me. Enjoyed the journey from Zurich to Mount Titlis. Cable car and rotating Gondola ride was exciting. Experiencing the Glacier cave was amazing. Enjoyed every second during my trip to Mount Titlis. While descending also visited the lake in between. Lake and the surrounding was serene. I had booked my journey from Zurich HB station. There is information center. People there are very friendly to assist. I shall cherish this memory lifelong.

Under Construction and lot of space reserved and restricted, few restaurants space used by few people as prayer room… restaurants views also obstructed…. Construction will complete somewhere in 2026-2027. Single photo on ice flyer and clif walk cost 19 CHF. Few other places are also closed and under renovation… snow park is not active… on lake should have installed paddle boat so people not expert can enjoy and sign board says on own risk….

Super impressive to see a glacier with your own eyes. It's well managed and completely safe. You could potentially go with just a T-shirt if the weather is above 0° in the summer but I jacket is recommend.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) in Lucerne. It was a beautiful evening, and the entire setting felt almost magical. The iconic wooden bridge, with its charming roof and historic paintings, reflected perfectly in the calm waters of the Reuss River—making it one of the most picturesque spots we’ve seen in Switzerland. What made the experience even more special was the atmosphere around the bridge. As we walked through, the gentle lighting and the flower decorations along the bridge added to the charm. Right nearby, the Old Town was buzzing with life. The streets were lively with cafés, restaurants, and little shops, making it a joy to stroll through. The blend of history, culture, and energy gave the whole area a very warm and welcoming vibe. Walking across the bridge and then meandering through the cobblestone streets of Old Town felt like stepping into a postcard. The combination of medieval architecture, colorful buildings, and the vibrant evening atmosphere made the entire experience unforgettable. If you are in Lucerne, visiting Chapel Bridge is absolutely a must-do, especially in the evening when the city lights and reflections on the river create such a breathtaking scene. Chapel Bridge lives up to the hype being the most iconic outdoor attraction in Lucerne. Pictures of the bridge from the river shore streets are more scenic than photos taken from the bridge itself. Given that fire of 1993 destroyed at least two thirds of the bridge, don’t expect too much from exposed paintings. Fortunately, Water Tower was spared and bridge was rebuilt and reopened in 8 months carefully reconstructed to preserve historic details.

Beautiful bridge which has significant history; there had been a fire in the 90's but apart from some blackened sections it had been repaired. It was not crowded. It provided lovely views of the mountains, lake and Luzern itself. The wood is lovely and the craftsmanship is evident everywhere with examples of quality joinery etc. It's a short walk from the main railway station. I found it peaceful and calming. We were out of season.

It is one of the most beautiful lakes in the whole of Europe, in my opinion. Obviously, the Alps on one side and Lucerne city on the other side give it ample backdrop for those picture-perfect photographs, but still :) Do not miss the boat rides available from Lucerne harbor. You'll thank me when you take one :)

The lake is absolutely stunning, with calm, clear water. The view feels like something out of a dream, peaceful and unforgettable. Especially loved the yellow bench by the lake side.

Located in the middle of Lucerne city, surrounded by the beautiful Alps Hills. Lake Lucerne is a very picturesque one, probably one of the most beautiful lake in Switzerland. Also is one of the main attractions of Lucerne (while it also has become one of the most recognizable images of the country). It is a symbol of the city and gives a sublime beauty on sunny days. Especially when even the nearby peaks are still snow-covered and can be seen in the background the Pilatus, majestic. There are many boats that allow you to traverse the lake and cross from one bank to another or even cruise excursions to nearby towns. It's a pretty big lake reaching over 210 meters. PS:- Highly Recommended for taking a boat tour around it to enjoy the tranquil beauty it holds.

The village Titisee in Germany is a very neat nd tiny with hygiene sorrounding. It’s famous for CuCuo clock manafacture nd for sorrounding scenic beauty. It also lies along the Black Forest regions.

We don’t live nearby but we love when we get to come here! Titisee is a beautiful lake and place, perfect to relax, enjoy beautiful nature and appreciate the good things in life. And there are also so many things to do and visit nearby, it’s a wonderful destination. We already stayed at two hotels here and both were top notch, and the lake was as inviting each time. Beautiful!

It was wonderful great view on the lake from every restaurants hotels the ground and they had great boat service . The kids can also steal the boat with saftey vests on for protection and after a long day u can go to a nice restaurant and eat nicely and after have a ice cream if its warm .And after that u can go on a Ferris wheel with a great view on the lake and mountains ⛰️ u can also if u have furry friends u can take them on the ferris wheel 🎡 and on the boat 🚢 ride have fun on ur visit.

Visited during the winter off-peak season, so most of the stores were closed. But the views were still absolutely stunning! Everything was covered with a layer of snow, adding a touch of magic to the landscape.

Like many other reviews of this place - great steak, poor service. We arrived towards the closing of this restaurant around 10:45pm but were welcomed in after the waiter checked the time. This changed quickly however when we ordered - the staff hurried us out the restaurant by packing up every single table around us, moving our items off of an adjacent table to close up, and even asking to give us our bill rather than the other way round. Did not feel like well looked-after customers when many other bars and restaurants in the same street were full of patrons at this time and not rushing them at all. The steak and quality of food was brilliant, but the service needs a lot of improvement else would not return again.

We visited Steak House Old Town without ordering any beef, and overall, the experience was just average. Chicken Breast: Unfortunately, this was a letdown. It was quite dry and tough to chew, lacking the tenderness you'd expect. Grilled Salmon: Decent, but nothing memorable. It was cooked fine, though not particularly flavorful. Duck: Also just okay. It didn’t stand out, but it wasn’t bad either. Sides: The sides were the highlight of the meal. The potato with sour cream was excellent—creamy and well-seasoned. The spinach was fresh and tasty, and the fried sweet potato was crispy and satisfying. Soup: We tried the coconut soup. It was rich and creamy, but the coconut flavor was overpowering, making it a bit too intense for our taste. Service was fine, and the ambiance was cozy, but based on the dishes we tried, we wouldn’t rush back. Perhaps the beef options are better, given it's a steakhouse.

Super good steak for a reasonable price - meat was soft and juicy. Meat was served on a hot plate, so every bite was fresh and hot! Staff was super nice and friendly, made us feel very welcomed :)

Best steak I've ever had! While walking along the street In Zurich to find somewhere for dinner we happened upon this restaurant where we could smell the mouthwatering steak before seeing it. A quaint little restaurant with a lovely outside seating area where you cook your steak on a hot stone.. having been on a train all day from Vienna we were ravenous so decided to go for the Tomahawk for 2 and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The most amazing juicy steak we have ever had!!! And even though the steak by itself was more than enough for 2 people.. the complimentary sides of veg and rosemary potatoes were incredible! Even though the food was sensational the service outshone it, never once did our glasses get slightly empty and the staff were incredible and so helpful with any questions asked about Zurich in general! Could not recommend this place more! Definitely worth a visit!!

Stunning place, absolutely amazing. Even though it was a rainy morning, the view over the falls and around was breathtaking. I bought boat ride tickets online, but I couldn't use them because our bus tour arrived too early and we only stayed for one hour. There is a very pleasant promenade with benches to rest on, multiple viewing platforms, a couple of gift shops, and several toilet facilities.

It is a beautiful waterfall. I came to it with the knowledge that it is Europe's largest and most powerful waterfall but when I saw it I was not impressed at all. Compared to the major waterfalls in other continents, it is not that large or powerful. But it is beautiful. And the walkway that leads to it is fine. There is plenty of water and it is so beautifully blue. The foamy water under the waterfall is nice to see. And there are quite a few waterbirds there such as gulls.

The Rhine Fall offer a truly spectacular natural experience. We have visited several times and we loved it everytime. Until now, we have always chosen the entrance via Laufen Castle, which features a panoramic trail and a viewing platform situated halfway down. A staircase leads directly to the base of the falls, and after passing through a short tunnel carved into the rock, visitors can admire the waterfall from an impressive side vantage point. Watching the immense volumes of water cascade downward is endlessly captivating — a sight that draws us back time and again. I can also recommend to enjoy the boat ride to the Fall. It‘s a great experience!

A wonderful creation of nature and if you are in Zurich i would recommend having a visit to Rhine falls. It is easily accessible via train and there is a train station that gets you right to the viewing point of rhine falls. You have to buy a ticket to enter the falls which was around 5CHF at the ticket vending machine located there. No need to prebook the tickets. Then you have to take some steps down thus a small walk will take you to the viewing platform of this huge waterfall. You will feel the mist as the water power is really great at the viewing platform. There are several boat services which you can hop on to on an extra cost and will take you closer to the falls.

A must-visit Swiss landmark! Plan at least half a day, walk down from the castle to the waterfall, enjoy the view at various view points, take a boat tour with an audio guide, have a bite, walk back around the waterfall and over the bridge. Visit after a heavy rain when the waterfall has lots of water. Try to come during the week when it’s less busy. There is a little tourist train going around the waterfall and showing some of Schaffhausen. Very easily accessible by car or by train.

It was amazing experience for us. We went from St. Moritz to Tirano. The train has panorama windows and the driving is very comfortable and gentle. The views are breathtaking. I highly recommend everyone to try Bernina express.

Great experience. From chur to Tirano take the Right side for more view. Both sides are great but the major attributes can be appreciated at the right side (from Chir to Tirano). Something that I don't know was that they offer a gift (a mini carrier with chocolate hearts and a beverage tea).

Absolutely incredible! No words to describe the beauty of Alps throughout the journey from Chur to Tirano. This Bernina express is unique and definitely a must try lifetime experience.

This was the best train journey I’ve ever experienced. I went in first class but space and seats are probably the only difference between the two classes. The views are just stunning! You go over mountains, fields, glaciers I could just keep naming things. Around the end (if you are going from Tirano to St Moritz) you can get off at the highest point for pictures and a coffee. The staff are super friendly and always try to make your journey pleasant. This exhilarating ride takes about two and a half hours (if you again are going from Tirano to St Moritz). I highly recommend going on the right side as you get more amazing panoramic views though both sides are great. It is best if you book in advance although upgrades are sometimes available on the day. 5 stars.

Beautiful experience! I traveled today in 1st class from Chur to Tirano — it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The landscapes were breathtaking, the train was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere very peaceful. However, the Wi-Fi link didn’t work, and unfortunately the toilet in 1st class was out of order, which was a bit disappointing for such a premium journey. Other than that, everything was lovely — I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to enjoy one of the most scenic train rides in Europe.

We travel to Milan for our vacation, but noticed that there is such a cool train track, Bernina Express. So we decided to try booking the entire trip via Klook. This turned out to be the best decision we made in this trip. The mountainous and forest view along the train route is so beautiful, breathtaking and stunning. Please see the photos and vedios I uploaded. Don’t think too much, just book and go. There are many ways to do this, please look up more detail in Google or Youtube. Highly recommend to go. It’s a MUST in your life time.

One of the best trip we've ever made, a must for any couple despite it was far from our hotel (3 hiur to reach it) but it worth ever minute. On time, good value for money and refreshing. Not easy to book online, you should buy the ticket, then "separately" the seat !

the island is very pretty and has a lot to offer, many different kinds of nature sections and lots of things for kids around/ food places etc but was quite expensive (especially because i didn’t have long to stay which is not an issue of the place) but i could see how it could be kind of worth it as a whole day activity

The island is incredibly beautiful — everything is in bloom and so well maintained! However, we were really disappointed to find out (a bit too late) that the butterfly house has different opening hours from the rest of the park. We arrived just 10 minutes after it closed and sadly missed it. It would be great if the timing was clearer on the map or signs.

I can bet it is the most beautiful places I have visited. For the tulips, instead of visiting Keukenhof, this is a better place. Surrounded by nature, play gyms for kids, animals where kids can even feed the goats was a holistic experience. We went with our 2months old baby and it was quite smooth. There were ramps everywhere. Accessibility was not a challenge. The tulips were beautiful. There were other flower exhibitions as well indoors. A must visit for everyone!!!!! The connectivity via ships is also very smooth and timely. We went from Meersberg to Mainau.

Visiting Hohenzollern Castle was one of those experiences that really stays with you. As we made our way up and started walking around the outdoor observation areas, the view simply took my breath away. The castle itself is just as impressive as the scenery. It stands tall and majestic, with an atmosphere that carries centuries of history. Walking through it, you can almost feel the presence of the people who once lived there and the important role this place played. Every hallway and corner has a story, and when you step back outside to those sweeping views, it all ties together beautifully. I’ve seen a number of castles in Germany — each with their own charm — but Hohenzollern stood out in a way that felt different. It wasn’t just about the architecture or the history alone; it was the combination of both with its stunning location on top of the hill. That mix of breathtaking scenery and deep history makes it one of the most memorable castles I’ve ever visited. If you’re traveling in the area, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s the kind of place you’ll remember long after you leave.

I loved how they still kept history alive for viewing and provided a free app guided tour. The shuttle to the castle from the parking lot, gift shops and bathrooms in both the castle and parking lot, and restaurants made the tour convenient. But the best parts were the view of nearby lands and beautiful artifacts.

This was a wonderful experience and this castle does not disappoint with sheer beauty located at the top of the mountain. I got lovely photos and videos. There is shuttle bus to the top and an app that gives you an audio tour. There are also many guides on site to answer questions and give you more history. There is a gift shop with beautiful souvenirs and an on site restaurant/bar/cafe. Well worth the visit and I recommend buying advance tickets which are slightly discounted. I also rented a super car on this trip and the drive from Stuttgart was scenic and so much fun in a performance car. Also recommend the drive.

This is a beautiful castle! It is very well maintained. The walk through is nice, and the museum area is really neat too. There's a beautiful outdoor seating area with a beer garden/restaurant. We had lunch and coffee there. We also visited with a baby, and read ahead of time not to bring a stroller due to stairs and tight spaces. So we used a baby carrier instead and it worked perfectly! This is a must visit castle if you're anywhere close in the vicinity. The view looking down is also beautiful.

One of the biggest castles in Stuttgart. This is well-maintained, and the shuttle bus is a great option for the elderly and those with mobility issues. But you will get the best experience if you walk to the castle from the bottom.

Wonderful! It has such a cozy, homey vibe. It’s so great that the family is still preserving it and sharing it with the public. I do recommend downloading the tour app if you want all the detailed history of the castle.

Good place for a weekend visit. Nice view from the castle with benches and lounger to relax and enjoy the sunset. Shuttle service and parking space is commendable. Everything is included in the entry ticket.

Every nice church. This church has the tallest tower in the world. You can pay 7 Euros and walk all the way to the top. Please ensure that you are semi fit....it is a long and winding staircase of over 750 steps. But the view is worth it. They are currently doing some restorations to the church so please bear with the noise.

Ulm Minster is breathtaking both inside and out. The Gothic architecture is incredibly detailed, and the interior is full of history — especially the 15th-century choir stalls with their intricate wood carvings. The highlight, of course, is climbing the tallest church spire in the world. It’s 768 steps up a narrow staircase, but the panoramic view over the city and, on clear days, even the Alps, makes it worth every step. Inside, the atmosphere is peaceful and bright, with beautiful stained-glass windows and an impressive organ. The Münsterplatz around the church is also lively, with cafés and markets (the Christmas market here is fantastic). Be prepared: the tower climb is steep and not for everyone, but if you can manage it, it’s unforgettable. Overall, Ulm Minster is one of Germany’s greatest landmarks. Highly recommended!

Ulm Minster is an awe-inspiring masterpiece of Gothic architecture and holds the distinction of having the 2nd tallest church tower in the world. Standing at 161.53 meters. It's interior is very impressive and magnificent with stained glass window and majestic Hall.

Ulm Minster is an absolute must-see — not only for its record-breaking spire, but also for the sense of calm and beauty it offers. It’s very easy to reach, just a short and pleasant walk from Ulm’s main train station through the charming old town. When I visited, there was some ongoing renovation work, with padding and scaffolding around the front and upper sections, which did slightly spoil the full view of the façade. However, the minor distraction did not take away from the overall experience — once you step inside, the atmosphere completely changes. The city’s noise fades away, replaced by a deep sense of peace and stillness. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a quiet moment of reflection, Ulm Minster is a beautiful and easily accessible place to visit.

A beautiful church, built in the Gothic style. It abounds in beautiful elements within its interior, and until recently this church also had the largest church tower in the world.

Definitely a must see castle. The grounds and the views are amazing. Unfortunately you cannot take photos of the interior. But nonetheless the interior doesn't disappoint either. I recommend that you get your ticket and tour time set up online. It definitely makes things easier. There are a few restaurants around the castle that have great food. Plus souvenir shoppes too.

Just a short 30-minute walk from the world-famous Neuschwanstein lies Schloss Hohenschwangau, and we can genuinely recommend adding it to your visit. While Neuschwanstein often gets most of the attention, Hohenschwangau has a charm and authenticity all of its own. Set against rolling hills, peaceful forests, and a beautiful lake, the castle feels more intimate and lived-in, offering a fascinating contrast to King Ludwig II’s fairytale creation. Tickets can be bought in advance—something we recommend, especially during busier months—and guided tours are offered in several languages. The tour provides wonderful insight into the history of the Bavarian royal family and the important role this castle played in Ludwig’s childhood. Many rooms remain furnished just as they were, which makes the visit feel historically rich and surprisingly personal. Even if you decide not to join a tour, the area around Schloss Hohenschwangau is perfect for a leisurely stroll. The paths are easy to navigate, and the views of the lake and surrounding mountains are incredibly beautiful. It’s a calm and charming place to unwind, especially after the more intense and crowded experience of Neuschwanstein. Overall, we found Schloss Hohenschwangau to be a beautiful and worthwhile addition to the day—less crowded, full of history, and surrounded by stunning scenery. If you’re already in the area, it’s absolutely worth visiting both castles to get the full experience of this remarkable region.

I visited a lot of Ludwig’s castles and this one isn’t the most spectacular per se but it is a must see specially if you’re interested in his history. This is where he grew up and where his parents lived. The castle has a lot of history that you can learn during your visit. The visit is made with a guide but you have an audio guide in your own language during the tour. It is activated in each room by the guide and lasts a few minutes. Our tour guide was young lady with dark hair. I don’t remember her name but she was one of the best guides I’ve encountered in a museum. She was lovely, smiling, added additional informations during our visit and was gentle. We had a great time visiting the castle thanks to her. You can also visit the gardens for free if you want but you have to book a ticket to see the inside. Also up here you get a nice view over the Neuschwanstein.

Overall, visiting Hohenschwangau Castle is one of the must do things for any tourist in the area. Personally my visit was both meaningful and enjoyable. The scenery was beautiful, the history fascinating and the atmosphere peaceful. It offered a valuable look into the roots of Ludwig II’s life and imagination, making it a visit worth remembering. On a side note, it’s recommended to book in advance, park your car in parking number 4 and keep in mind that only guided tours are offered inside as well as that picture and videos aren’t allowed.

Even tough it's not probably as nice as Neuschwanstein I really enjoyed being inside and especially a look through the window at the end of the tour. Around the castle there are food stands where you can enjoy a hot chilly and some sausage with drinks.

I visited the yellow castle since the smaller white one was sold out. I was blown away by how amazing the artwork is within. It's unfortunate that pictures aren't allowed inside considering how inspiring the story was. I'd suggest that more people book the yellow castle to see and learn about the old rulers.

The castle location is so beautiful. It is a treat for the sight just to hike towards the castle that is surrounded by bavarian alps. The guided tour, on the other hand is rather short (only 30min). The rooms are accessible only by lots of stairs and no photography is allowed. Only 14 castle rooms were furnished. Furthermore during our visit the cafe was also closed. This was a bummer since the ticket is so expensive for 23euros per person. Furthermore even though young kids are allowed inside the castle for free they need their own ticket and it can't be booked online. The ticket we got got our toddler from the information booth did not have a scan code and my daughter could not get inside so i had to run to fund security to let her inside. The security guide solved the issue quickly though. The point is that the ticket handling system must be more organized and improved upon. On the other hand, the cave room, singers room and the balcony were breath taking so the hassle was kind of worth it. The ticket price should be reduced though. I would say overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The guided tour is a must — make sure to book it early, as tickets sell out fast. No photos are allowed inside, but it’s absolutely worth it. Each room reflects incredible richness, elegance, and the artistic soul of King Ludwig II — his passion for theatre, music, and beauty shines through every detail. It’s about a 20-minute walk uphill from the ticket area, but they also offer bus services (check the timings!) and horse-drawn carriage rides for a more scenic way up. The path is a bit steep, but once you reach the top, the view and the castle itself make every step worth it. King Ludwig II was truly a dreamer — and walking through his creation feels like walking inside his imagination. Go see it — it’s magical, surreal, and simply unforgettable. 🌄💙

The castle is located in a beautiful setting. Tickets may be bought online or in person (reservation recommended for peak season). There’s free shuttle from downtown Füssen to the ticket center. There’s plenty of paid parking. To get up to the castle you may hire a chariot or walk up for 30-40 minutes. The scenery is beautiful and it is worth the walk. During summer the path is shaded by the threes. Inside the castle there’s plenty of stairs to go up. I advise looking up if it is wheelchair accessible.

The bus fare is €5 per adult round trip, and it’s a smooth ride with beautiful scenery along the way. At the top, the area is clear and open, perfect for walking or biking with stunning views all around. The trails are beautiful, offering several photo spots and breathtaking panoramas of the castle and the valley below. There’s also a small snack and souvenir shop at the top with plenty of space and clean bathrooms, making it an easy and comfortable stop before or after exploring. Overall, Neuschwanstein Castle is a magical experience — well worth the visit and the walk. The scenery alone makes it unforgettable!

When near Fussen and Schwangau Neuschwanstein Castle is a must. A beautiful 40 minute uphill walk will bring you there. You can take a shuttle or horse and buggy but the walk is doable if you like and are used to walking/hiking. We did not pay to go in but got good photos from many vantage points outside.

You won't regret visiting here. It's beautiful on the outside but absolutely gorgeous on the inside. If you have trouble walking, definitely take the horse carriage up and/or down (costs money). The walk down is much easier. They have the cutest store after the tour and don't forget to check out the view outside near the bathrooms before leaving. You will not regret it!!

Absolutely breathtaking and immersive. The hike up is beautiful and you can take your time just enjoying the scenery. Plenty of photo opportunities outside of the castle, but no pictures inside until you get to the cafe.

A very successful experience for children aged 4-12. A large place with lots of options that are very difficult to complete in one day due to the long lines for most of the facilities. You have to arrive with a lot of patience. Overall, this is a park where the attractions themselves are not crazy, but the "wrapping" of Lego does its job. The place is very neat and clean and easy to navigate. Overall, this is a recommended day out for the family.

This is in my opinion the best of the 3 Legoland parks in Europe. Everything is good value here, especially the food and the quality of said food is fantastic. I went into the pizza restaurant and paid around €16 for a fresh out of the oven pizza and amazing chocolate tart. They both felt like they came from an expensive restaurant, very tasty and beautiful presentation. You have the best selection of rides here from small to thrilling. A really good variety - the best being Maximus. An absolutely thrilling b&m coaster which despite the short ride time, offers some incredible moments of weightlessness. The park is kept tidy and clean - the bathrooms are cleaned very regularly. Queues are managed well and have the bonus of single rider if you're a lone traveller like me. Saves a lot of time. Theres a few little themed shops dotted around and although a couple were closed on my trip due to the time of year possibly, there's still a lot on offer. More than any other Lego park in Europe like I said. I had the best 2 days here and I can't wait to come back again.

We took the kids to Germany and our first stop before traditional castles and museums was Legoland Germany! We LOVED it. Drove straight from airport to the hotel (we stayed at the Pirate Hotel), checked in, then did a full afternoon and evening till close. We ate at the steak restaurant near hotels and onsite for snacks, lunch, etc. We prepaid for breakfast at Pirate hotel. Because of birthdays, we did the birthday package (they decorated the room and more) and because tip mattered we did the VIP package. THIS was worth every penny! We skipped the line at every ride, got extra swag & mini figures, and store discounts [don’t forget to ask for tax refund forms at the store (typically 100 or more spent)]. The staff are awesome and most are bilingual if you are rusty. If you are a LEGO fan or traveling Germany with kids, this place is worth every penny! For the super fans, they had themes we found no where else (e.g. adventure series at the log ride); and rides that are not found at the US Legolands. Augsburg and Ulm are nearby if you need a culture/ museum break.

We spent lovely 2days here, great experience for us, adults and our kids. We had lovely weather, so a lot of people arrived, and some attractions were crowded, and we had to wait. Luckily it was just occasionally. Plus was Halloween decorations and products that can bring home🎃🎃 Thank you, will come again.

Great place for young kids . We spent one day there , 2 would have been better as we didn’t see everything. Very reasonable as once you pay all the rides are free . Ideal kids age 5-12.

An absolute dream holiday location for my family and I. My son and daughter loved it, the rides were great, food was good and queues were decent. Staff were very friendly, parking wasn't an issue and having Peppa Pig Park right next door made it ideal for my 2 year old daughter too! It was also great fun for my wife and I. Unforgettable memories were made and we cannot wait to visit once again!

If you or your kids like LEGO then you must visit, the place is huge and there are a lot of activities for all ages. To really cover it you need at least 2 days to get on most of the rides. The only downside is the large ques that form so you don't like to wait a lot then maybe pay more for the express pass. You can also get tickets online for both the park and the parking which I recommend to save some time.

Visited in the autumn season — no snow, but the view was absolutely stunning! 🍁 The surrounding mountains and lakes looked breathtaking in golden shades. The cable car ride was smooth and offered amazing panoramic views. Even without snow, Zugspitze felt peaceful and majestic.

Very cool, highly recommend even if the mountain is covered in clouds up top. If that’s the case it would be nice if the ticket was discounted, but rain or shine it’s 75€ per person. There’s a restaurant & bar up there as well

Beautiful view, great experience as tourists. there is another cable that takes you to the skiing part it is on the other side of the mountain. car park just outside the cable station. restaurants and shop accessible restrooms very clean. there are 2 options to get up/down to Zugspitze, cable or train. it is 75€ 2 ways on the cable I felt terrible pressure going down so mabe it is better to take the train down.

Great place to visit if you want to experience high altitudes without actual climbing. Fast transfer by the cablecar, or more slow ascent by cogwheel train. The building at the summit has multiple floors and observation desks, you can cross to the Austrian side. There are restaurants on both sides. You can also take another cable car to the other side and play in the snow, even in August. Breathtaking views. Go early in the day to beat the clouds. There is also a small church. The bravest ones can climb the actual summit with the cross. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours and bring a sweater. Even in August.

The Zugspitze is the largest mountain of the Germany situated in the range of Alps Mountain, located on the scenic border between Germany and Austria, is an unforgettable experience and a must do especially for the fully snow covered peak and the thrill of the ascent. I highly recommend the cable car over the cogwheel train for the most breathtaking views, though both are covered in the approximately €75 combined ticket (which includes skiing access). We started by riding straight to the summit for a stunning, almost indescribable panorama, witnessing the sunset from the peak was a truly magical moment. We then descended to the lower Zugspitzplatt where the vast snow fields feel like a different universe perfect for playing in the snow and skiing. The ample parking, the presence of helpful mountain volunteers, and the organized operation make it a safe and enjoyable trip. Tip: Be sure to wear appropriate gear, especially warmers and gloves, and note that the last descent is strictly enforced, so plan to be back on the train or cable car around 4:30 PM. A truly wonderful and perfect day trip!

You can take the train to the mountain, from there you can take a cable car to the top. This was one of the greatest experiences we had it was so much fun going to the top. When you reach the top there’s snow everywhere and free sleds you can take and have some fun like you were a child. It’s really beautiful and worth every cent. There’s a restaurant on the top where you can enjoy a beer the good was also great

Zugspitze was amazing! The views were absolutely stunning and the mountain lounge was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The cheesecake wasn’t the best, but honestly, the view made up for it.

A must visit for all people who like walking though nature. This place is amazing and so beautiful. U walk through it and wonder how nature works and see that if u leave nature to itself it does amazing things. People with wheelchair, strollers and people with walking handicap will have a hard time walking though here. Also when u go through the gorge is good to have a flash light, waterproof clothing and hiking booth.

Beautiful experience! The Partnachklamm is very well maintained and easy to follow, with clear paths and a nicely mapped route through the gorge. It’s a relatively easy hike. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, but the scenery more than makes up for it. After exiting the gorge, there are plenty of hiking trails to choose from if you’d like to continue exploring. Highly recommended!

Amazing place, gorgeous. Nature is impressive and the power of water is very obvious here. Some parts are rather dark though, so maybe bring a torch or just use your mobile phone for lighting. The paths are narrow in some parts but seeing that there wasn't too much going on, it was not a problem. I can imagine that it might be bothersome on busy day.

Visiting Partnachklamm – Beautiful, But Overpriced Partnachklamm (Partnach Gorge) is undeniably a natural wonder and a must-see if you're in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen area. The gorge is stunning, with its narrow passageways, towering limestone walls, and the sound of rushing water echoing through the canyon. It's an impressive display of raw natural beauty that photographers and nature-lovers will absolutely appreciate. However, the experience does come with a downside: the entrance fee. At €10 per adult (as of 2025), it feels steep for what is essentially a short, 700-meter walk through the gorge. While the path is well-maintained and safety measures are clearly in place, the high price doesn’t quite match the duration or complexity of the attraction. There's no guided experience included, and facilities are fairly basic. If you're traveling with a family or on a budget, the cost can add up quickly. It would be more reasonable if the ticket included access to nearby trails or some additional interpretive content about the geology and history of the gorge. In short: Pros: Stunning scenery, unique experience, easily accessible. Cons: Short walk, crowded during peak hours, and overpriced for what you get. Worth visiting once, especially if you've never seen a gorge like this before — but be prepared to pay more than you'd expect for a brief nature walk.

It’s a beauty. Observing the gorge and the surrounding was a very nice adventure. Obviously it might get a bit crowded especially on the weekends but the beauty wouldn’t allow anything to interfere. There is also a very nice hike route right after the gorge. Totally recommend.

Amazing experience walking along the catwalk and carved path through this glacial slot canyon! The water is clear and tinted ice-blue, rushing, and slicing through space that seems only a few feet wide, while you walk through cavernous tunnels and under overhangs. And then, coming out the other side, you get to walk back above and over it all! What a fun hike!! Just be prepared for some steep walking with good shoes, water, and a flashlight for those dark sections!

Very beautiful gorge. Absolutely worth the entry price. Expect to get some drops of water as you go. It was pretty busy on a Friday morning. The walk above the gorge on the way back is really picturesque too.

The golden roof of Innsbruck is a fun little thing to see and is in a beautiful part of the old town. There’s lots of good shopping and restaurants around here that make for a fun outing or a good walk from your hotel. It’s worth seeing this too since it’s an iconic part of Innsbruck.

The entry to the museum is free with the Innsbruck card. So I went in to take a look... It wasn't much. But provided some relief from the scorching sun. You have to go upstairs.

Each building on the street is so defined and colorful that you can almost miss this one with the golden roof built for the Emperor so he could view the street and tournaments. Nevertheless it’s gorgeous. There’s a small museum inside but I didn’t go in. There is so much to see on the street across from this Goldenes Dachl that you become distracted with the sheer art that these two streets are.

Value for money if you go during happy hours. Even if you don’t find tickets online, just go there and they will apply the discount of 20% during happy hours. We went around 4 PM and I think it is perfect timing. Very little rush in funicular, cable cars (there are 2) , view point and also in the cafe/restaurant.

Great visit. A total of two sets is cable car takes you to the top location. The views are splendid. Allow approx. 3 hours for the complete trip.

Amazing thing to do when you want to escape the heat in the city on a hot cloudless day! Cable car and gondola can be packed. Getting tickets online is a good idea. It’s not cheap but the views totally worth it!

I came here in March 2025 I had a brilliant time going to The Top Of Innsbruck. Exciting travel up the mountain. Short but sweet walks. Brilliant views. Food and drink options. A very fun climb to the top. wait time for cable cars is usually not too bad.

The queuing time was quite long here to go up even in January. It seems reasonably priced until you workout the price of the cable car to go right to the top and then it is pretty expensive. The ride halfway up on the funicular is pretty fast, the trains are modern and you do get great views. When you get halfway there is a great viewing platform and you can see right across the city of innsbruck even as far as the ski jump

Fantastic experience with 3 different cable cars getting you to the top. The lines were relatively long (wait time between 10-25 mins) but the views and the hikes you are offered are second to none. Recommend using the Welcome Card you get from your hotel in Innsbruck to buy tickets for the cable car in person (we got 20% off).

An excellent way to see the top of Innsbruck! The station is clean and well maintained, and the ticketing system was clear. This is the first station for the rail car, then there are two more cable cars to reach the top station. The entire journey takes maybe 30 minutes if you time it correctly.

Went on a Augsburg Fugger Tour. Last stop was the Fuggerei. Have always been curious about it and it's history. Quite amazing that it still exists till this day an age and functioning the same way it always has. Absolutely incredible. The grounds are extremely well kept and just a beautiful part of living history. Must go when you visit Augsburg. After the tour you can also visit tiny beer garden by the entrance.

Really cool to hear about how this social housing was started. The people can live here for €1 per year, and just have to be Catholic, pray everyday, and be in need. It’s definitely worth the €8 entrance fee.

It was a wonderful experience visiting the world’s oldest public housing. We went on a weekday morning, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful, which made exploring even more enjoyable. Purchasing the ticket at the entrance was simple, and the site itself was easy to navigate. The area is beautifully maintained, with so much attention to detail that you really feel immersed in its rich history. Walking through the space gives you a true sense of cultural heritage, and it’s both educational and inspiring. I would definitely recommend this visit to anyone interested in culture and history—it’s a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience something truly special.

I visited The Fuggerei on two different trips, once in 2010 and then again in 2023. It's a neat experience with in Augsburg and i definitely recommend checking it out. The history here is interesting for sure and the architecture in germany in general always amazes me. I would recommend tickets in advance, although was not busy when we went. My aunt had picked them up ahead of time for us.

The real standout is the WWII bunker—an unexpectedly compelling and haunting part of the visit. It offers a chilling, immersive look into wartime life and far surpasses the rest of the experience. If you’re nearby and curious, stop by for the bunker, but otherwise, it’s probably not worth going out of your way.

I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the feeling of stepping back in time. The houses and small museums provide a wonderful glimpse into old life, and everything is well organized for visitors. Highly recommended when in Augsburg.
