Huge, interesting zoo with lots of species. Everything is well maintained and under a good care. All animals look healthy. I would like to visit it again in spring or summer to see the botanic garden.
Lộc L — Google review
Really nice zoo where they are taking really good care of the animals! Almost each species has a space with trees, leaves and everything they need. I really recommend visiting this Zoo! You can buy tickets at the entrance. The parking costs 100 CZH per day.
Diana E — Google review
Very nice zoo - it’s a great connection between animals and botanical gardens in park style. If you are hungry- you can use a full variety of food and cafes. Children also won’t be sad or bored - they can use many different areas for play and joy. Visiting this place is very valuable and gives many opportunities to learn and explore our environment. Five stars and full recommendations!
Przemysław G — Google review
I visited on a sunday and it was a bit busy. The animal enclosures are big and look like a natural habitat. It is well maintained, clean and the animals are in great shape. They also have breeding programs and overall seems like a very humane zoo.
Alin M — Google review
Modern ZOO, very nice place for families, a lot of animals but also plants, new animal enclosures, large zoo area, you need min. 4 hours . Good and close parking , friendly entrance, several snack stands and restaurants, possible pay bycard.

Great place to stay with kids even for the whole day. Lots of animals and lots of extra kids activities. Food stands on every corner.
Polom C — Google review
Great Zoo with ample space, well equipped pavilions. Great variety of wildlife species including almost all continents.

We drove there to spend the day-date accompanied by exotic animals. We weren’t dissapointed although we were concerned that the animals were a bit cramped up.

The Pławniowice palace and park complex, a 19th-century architectural masterpiece adorned with turrets and towers, opens its doors to visitors during the spring and summer seasons. The heritage site boasts of an impeccably preserved exterior surrounded by lush parkland, offering a picturesque view that is definitely worth exploring. However, the interior may not meet one's expectations as it appears to be modern and artificial.
The palace and park complex in Pławniowice Pałac w Pławniowicach is the picturesque Palace and Park Complex from the end of the 19th century. It's not only that, around you can find a nice lake if you would like to have a walk or cycling. By the way there's a 10 PLN entrance fee for the Palace. Have a nice day there.
AHMED S — Google review
It's such a nice place and no people at all on a weekend. Wonderful palace, territory, architecture, nature, everything ✨️ Highly recommended ♡
Alona K — Google review

JuraPark Science and Entertainment Park

Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
JuraPark Science and Entertainment Park is a fantastic destination for families seeking adventure and education. This expansive park features life-size dinosaur models, high-tech evolution displays, and an exciting time tunnel train ride that promises to be a highlight of your visit. With interactive surprises around every corner, there's something for everyone—kids can enjoy bouncy castles, playgrounds, and even a 5D cinema experience! An amazing dinopark where entertainment meets archeology & science. Perfect for adults and children. What I liked: - huge car park right next to the entrance - nicely landscaped area - dinosaur replicas from all eras, sizes and types - university display of local dinofinds - possibility to rent a transportation contraption for children (and storing your stuff) - lots of toilets and rest areas - multitude of playgrounds - a lake with a real beach - a really good dino-themed 5D cinema - well-stocked souvenir shops
Piotr M — Google review
We stayed over 6 hours in the park and still did not see a part of it! Kids and ourselves loved it, it's a unique experience. Definitely recommend it.
Christiana L — Google review
Excellent experience. Staff was very helpful and the whole atmosphere, availability of attractions etc was amazing. Beautiful place. You can easily spend there whole day considering how many attractions are there. Strongly recommended . I will come back again :)
Martin — Google review
It's amazing! Great place for kids and adults. All attractions are included in the ticket. Kids will have fun all day long
Stefano C — Google review
It wasn't really what my kids were expecting. My 11 year old wanted to ride more dinosaurs. My 8 year old wanted to interact with the dinos and not just look at them. The rides weren't even dinosaur themed. Food was ok. We ate outside where wasps were pretty much swarming us half the time. The 4d attractions were neat, not too much for those of us who tend to get queasy. We were there for the night on a Sunday, and once the park closed, we had a hard time finding a place to eat. Only a pizza place was open past 8, and the wait for delivery was an hour and a half at that point. Our over night accommodations were in the human evolution building. The common areas were very dark, and the entire decor was futuristic, blocky and uninviting. We stayed in the bronchiasaurus room, which housed 16 bunk beds and a private rest room with 2 each: sons, toilets, showers. There was a hair dryer and body wash/shampoo in the showers. Towels were provided. The windows all had screens to keep bugs out, which is rare here. The staff were accommodating with breakfast. We had to be on the road before their normal breakfast time started, so they prepared us sandwiches and packed them in a large bag and stored them for us in the common area kitchenette. A unique feature was the active dig site and being able to see authentic fossils. We did manage to get lost trying to find the dinos as we didn't expect the huge play ground and all the rides. There's also a beach on a lake. Lots of activities available. My kids enjoyed the giant trampoline. There's also an upside down house diagonal from the human evolution building you can go into for a little extra (36 pln for a family of 2 adults & 2 kids). We didn't use it, but there's ample camp grounds as well.
Karolina S — Google review
Very nice place to enjoy with kids. On sunday it was not crowded, a huge territory with lot of things to do and it was fun for kids and interesting for adults as well.
Baiba L — Google review
A great fun place for all the family. Lots to do for any age.. The food is petty decent too. There is a great variety of fun, with enough space to accommodate everything. Interesting interactive surprises. A very clever way to do it right. Been a number of times and always enjoy it. Downside is not enough staff, so beverage areas were closed and long queues. You must do the train ride!!

Opole Zoo is a large conservation-focused zoo located on an island in the River Oder, in the capital city of Opole, Poland. The zoo houses over 600 animals from around the world, including iconic species like lions, tigers, and elephants, as well as various birds, reptiles, and primates. Visitors appreciate the spacious and well-organized layout of the zoo with wide paths and open spaces. Many also praise its modern facilities and beautiful water features.
Great activity for the whole family. It took us 4 hours to visit and we didn’t really see 100% plus we were moving fast. . Get the ticket ahead online so you don’t have to wait in line (and it can get pretty long). . There is a nice playground for kids, Ice cream stands and restaurants inside. It really could be an all day adventure! Really worth it!

....one of the best we visited!! No problem with parking (free), ticket machines (no need to wait in queue)...

There are a variety of wild animals to see here. The enclosures are very large and offer the animals plenty of activities and space. A very nice family zoo, the seals have plenty of action! A really nice zoo!
Julius K — Google review
amazing zoo no comments... . beautiful fish tanks, food service inside for kids & adults. need minimum 3 hours for visiting
I S — Google review
Very nice, not very big ZOO. We saw couple feedings and trainings. Parking close by for fee, the one across the bridge is free.
Elena B — Google review
This zoo is beautiful and big. There is English posting for names and much information in Polish that can be translated with Lens. The ice cream was delicious and very clean place. We spent over two hours and could have spent even more time there. I think we walked nearly 10km during the visit. It is one of my favorites
Joe S — Google review
Even better zoo than I imagined. You can see the animals really close. It's really modern, clean, and has beautiful waterfalls and an overall vibe. We went on a rainy day, so there were almost no other visitors besides me and my girlfriend, which made it feel like a private tour. We were there for at least 2.5 hours and still didn't see everything that the zoo had to offer.
Koli H — Google review
Really good experience, can’t complain really! Though it was sometimes hard to view the animals as the cage was very large compared to the number of animals with an outdoor and indoor section. Apart from that wear some good shoes as you’ll be walking for ages.

Moszna Zamek

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Moszna Castle is a stunning 18th-century architectural masterpiece located about 30 kilometers south of Opole. This castle, featuring a blend of Neo-Gothic, Neo-Baroque, and Neo-Renaissance styles, boasts an impressive 99 towers that give it a fairytale-like appearance. Originally belonging to the Tiele-Winckler family, the castle survived World War II but suffered damage during the Soviet Army's occupation.
Moszna is one of the most beautiful locations to visit in the district. Great old castle with lots of history, restored to its old grandeur and rich heritage. The gardens and surrounding pathways are beautiful. The restaurants and local cuisine are splendid. I encourage you to visit.
Vassos S — Google review
A castle which came out of a fairy tale. Beautiful. After visiting 50+ castles/palaces, it was a dream for me to stay in a castle and it happened here at Moszna Castle. It was a perfect stay, clean spacious rooms with fountain view, spotless comfortable bed, huge bathroom, restaurant, a shop, free parking. I like the idea that interiors of the room are vintage and will made you feel you are in a castle. Like any other accomodation, there are lots of improvements that could be done. We are the only customer at the restaurant but we waited a bit to be seated. Very limited choice too, but it was delicious. There are few insects flying while we are eating so I believe it is something that could be addressed. Loved the mojito, but hopefully it had more alcohol to taste more authentic. But overall, we liked our stay, especially that they offered us a packed breakfast as we had to leave at 6am. It was 2 big bags of complete breakfast variety.

Moszna Castle – A Fairytale Fortress with a Gothic Soul Moszna Castle in Poland is one of the most enchanting places I’ve ever visited. With its 99 towers and blend of Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance architecture, it feels like stepping into a fantasy novel. Every corner of the castle whispers stories from centuries past, and the surrounding gardens are perfect for a peaceful stroll or a dreamy photo session. The highlight of my visit was the legendary Black Apartments. These rooms are steeped in mystery, with dark wood interiors, intricate carvings, and a hauntingly elegant atmosphere. You can almost feel the presence of history in the air. The guided tour was excellent – informative, engaging, and full of fascinating anecdotes about the castle’s noble residents and hidden secrets. Moszna Castle also offers overnight stays, and spending a night here is like living in a royal dream. The silence, the grandeur, and the timeless charm make it an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a history lover, a romantic soul, or just looking for a unique destination, this castle is a must-see
Choppers. L — Google review
The castle was beautiful and full of old-world charm. The food was absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious and pretty, though the bathtub made showering a bit awkward—water tended to go everywhere. They did a lovely job decorating the table for my birthday dinner, which was a special touch. Overall, the price was very reasonable.
New U — Google review
A nice palace with a beautiful garden. The staff is so friendly and the ticket price is cheap. The hole territory of the palace is gorgeus. The cafe is gorgeus what operated by basic prices. But the reason of the 3-star: very very few information has written by english. Almost everything in polish. It’s so wrong for visitors from abroad.
Haraszti N — Google review
This is a beautiful castle with spacious rooms and gorgeous views. The grounds are lovely and the dancing fountain is a treat. If you eat in the restaurant, try the beef roulade, it was delicious. The breakfast provided great coffee and a wide variety of options. Please come by car as there are few options by train. There is a bus but it is not ideal with luggage or backpacks. There were some issues with flies in the restaurant, but I hope that wasn't the norm. The castle needs some TLC (some painting, some steps need repair, the shower stalls need updated), but it's definitely worth coming for a visit. Staying here was a highlight and a treat for me.
Amy M — Google review
To say that experience from authentic hotel in real castle is unbelievable equals to saying nothing. Atmosphere, rooms, area, full authenticity, even the floor with creaking boards makes unforgettable impressions. To enjoy it fully better to go without kids below 3-4 years 🙈 Strongly recommend to visit it!!!
Mykola H — Google review

Interaktywny Park Edukacji i Rozrywki ROSENAU Zaginione Miasto

Park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Interactive family-friendly theme park with a pool, promoting learning through play & adventures.
Nice place for parents and kids.
Piotr P — Google review
This has got to be the saddest place on earth. The extortionate ticket price does not include half of the attractions (even the most expensive ticket is not all-inclusive). Everything other than the water park is run down, broken, dirty, or simply weathered by time. All the animals except ostriches are cheap plastic replicas (not even realistic ones), and the ostriches looked so depressed that I'm sure they followed me around the fence asking me for help. The 7D cinema is a shack, with some cheaply-made animations and moving chairs and water sprays that don't align with the film. The rope park was not included in the ticket price and looked so unsafe I would not have gone on it myself, let alone let my children on. The 'educational' attractions don't appear to have received any maintenance or cleaning since they were installed (probably 20 years ago). Many are broken, all are dirty. The 'amphitheatre' has burnt down, and the charred rubble is now crumbling into the lake. The one redeeming feature of this place was the water park. It's adequate. However, to get to the water park, you have to take a convoluted path, and the hotel owners make it intentionally difficult to access, even if you are by entrance for hotel guests. Under no circumstances can you buy food to have by the pool. Overall, this place was expensive, and falling apart. The business will no doubt go under in the next two years. I would recommend the owners just pack it in now, rather than perpetuate their own misery, let alone that of the staff and disappointed guests.
Tony T — Google review
Don't waste your time and money to go here! I never have been to such an outdated and poorly maintained park. World's biggest inflated castle wasn't inflated, the 7D cinema posters were better then the real thing, the carousel was not online, as well as the big balloon. You had to pay for a child to play in a small indoor playground. All the other things that were open were outdated, poorly held and colored over the years. A total waste of your time and money, a big disappointment!
Tijmen B — Google review
Very overpriced for the small number of worn out dismal attractions. Don’t waste your time or money on a visit you will only be desperately disappointed with unsatisfied children.
Ed W — Google review
Let's start with the price, it's super overpriced. When you go in, there is really nothing interesting there. No matter if you are a parent or a kid, you will be bored. The food is no better - tasteless, they don't even serve good coffee here. Avoid at all costs!
Kuba Q — Google review
I am not familiar with this protoslavic hamlet of Rosenau, but most of the attractions seemingly fondly remember better days. I didn't feel comfortable letting our kids play with half the equipment, either because it looked unsafe by design or by virtue of wear and tear. The other half was out of order. Generally, the attractions were borrowed from other South Polish theme parks - reminiscent of Krasiejow, Zloty Stok, the science garden in Krakow - a painful reminder of the days out that were far more enjoyable for us. The aquapark part - which cost us approximately an extra £10 per participant (60 PLN) was meant to be the saving grace, only there were no lockers, so one of the adults had to sit in the scorching sun (the ticket/wristband inspector asked us to vacate the only seat under a parasol) watching the bags. Overall, would not recommend, unless visiting Poland for its postsoviet vibes

Kopalnia Złota Złoty Stok

Sights & Landmarks
Mine
Guided tours & exhibits in a former gold mine, with subterranean boat rides & a waterfall.
We recently visited the Zloty Stok Gold Mine, and it was an incredible experience! The tour was truly fascinating, showcasing the rich history and stunning beauty of the mine. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and had a fantastic sense of humor, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Although the guide primarily spoke Polish, we were able to translate, which worked out well. It was a unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture while still understanding the key points of the tour. The mine itself is breathtaking, particularly the underground waterfall—an absolute highlight! There was also a room filled with “gold”that left us in awe. The attention to detail and the preservation of the site made it feel like a step back in time. Our tour took around one hour. There is another tour where you can go on rafting - this one is around 40min but need to be booked in advanced. Additionally, the staff at the mine were incredibly friendly and helpful, enhancing our overall experience. Next to village is small restaurant with delicious pierogi. We left with wonderful memories and a deeper appreciation for this historical site. If you're in the area, the Zloty Stok Gold Mine is definitely worth a visit!
Ninja ( — Google review
Exciting historical mine with a tour in Polish and headsets with audio in other languages. They didn't have enough for everyone, and what is said on the audio is very limited compared to what the guide tells, so unless you know Polish the information is a bit limited. But exciting surroundings.
Henrik H — Google review
The tour is well-organized, easy to follow and enjoyable from start to finish. The tour guide is not only friendly and approachable but also highly professional and extremely knowledgeable, making sure every visitor feels well taken care of. Throughout the tour, you’ll gain fascinating insights into the mine itself and even uncover some surprising and little-known facts about Poland’s history that you probably wouldn’t learn elsewhere. On top of that, the souvenirs are genuinely unique and special, giving you a perfect keepsake to remember the experience. Whether you’re a history buff, an adventure seeker, or just looking for a fun day out, this tour manages to be both informative and entertaining—it’s a should-do
Nguyen A — Google review
It's a great place and for sure worth visiting it. I would happily give 5 stars if I would get an English or German tour. Unfortunately everything is in Polish and hardly ever something written in English or someone able to speak English. Apart of that, everything is just great.
Iulian T — Google review
🏆Kopalnia Złota – Złoty Stok I wish I’d caught the name of the young lady who gave our tour—she was an absolute riot! 🤣 Her energy, jokes, and storytelling made this one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Not only did we learn how gold was extracted, but now that I’ve got the “recipe,” I guess I owe her 20% of the profits—just like she said! 😆 🥇If you happen to be our amazing tour guide, please drop a comment so I can request you again for our family in the future! 😌 This family-friendly attraction strikes the perfect balance of fun and education. There’s a surprise interactive station I won’t spoil, but trust me—it’s something I’ve never seen before at any other mine or attraction. The underground slide was a blast for both kids and adults, and the train ride at the end was a nice touch. It helped us understand the working conditions these miners experienced. It’s rare to find an activity that keeps all ages engaged from start to finish. This one does. There’s even underground waterfall which I haven’t seen before even as a splunker. We’ll definitely be back! 😍 ⭐️ If you hear a joke about the WiFi password on your tour, you’re welcome 🤣 My name is Adrian—a global traveler and international fixed-wing flight nurse ✈️ I stay in hundreds of hotels, motels, palaces, castles, and everything in between around the world each year. From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, I seek out the most unforgettable experiences and must-see destinations. This review reflects my honest experience. Wishing you safe travels and unforgettable stays 🫶🏼

The village was the best part, I vividly recommend visiting it; On the other hand the Ochrowa tunnel was a bit too tight for me so it gave me a bit of anxiety, but it's an experience you should try at least once in my opinion; Finally the mine was a little disappointing at first because we spent 70% of the time talking with the guide (interesting if you like history) and 40% actually exploring the cave, but in the end it was worth it to see the underground waterfall! 🌊
Anna H — Google review
Awesome and interesting gold mines. Tour guide was absolutely brilliant at her job! I definitely recommended visiting. The tours included going several feet underground into the mines and you could see a huge waterfall. It can get a bit chilly down there so I suggest bringing a hoodie! There is a cool train at the end that brings you outside. It’s also a great way to cool down during hot weather and learn something new about caves.

ZOO

Zoo

The Wrocław Africarium is a large zoological garden and oceanarium that contains exhibits of over 1,000 different animals from Africa. It is one of the oldest working zoos in Poland, and open all year round. The zoo also has an exhibit devoted to the flora and fauna of the Dark Continent, which are unique on an international scale.
The Wrocław Zoo is absolutely amazing. The territory is huge, beautifully maintained, and full of animals from all around the world. One of the highlights is definitely the Afrykarium (aquarium) – breathtaking and worth the visit on its own. I spent about 4 hours walking through the entire area and covered roughly 8 km – that’s how big and impressive it is! There are plenty of toilets and food courts, which makes the visit convenient, especially for families. Prices for food and extras are on the higher side, but it’s definitely worth it for such a unique experience. For parents: renting a children’s wheeled cart costs 30 zł per day, which can be very helpful. Overall, an unforgettable experience and one of the top attractions in Wrocław. Highly recommended for everybody
Maritime B — Google review
I visited Wrocław Zoo on two separate occasions in September 2025 in order to make the most of my time in the city and the weather. I visit zoos across the world in order to photograph their animals, and would consider the one in Wrocław among the best. The zoo is well laid out, with many indoor houses and outdoor enclosures for species across the animal kingdom. The houses that most impressed me were the Terrarium (for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates) and the Afrykarium for African fauna. The Terrarium is laid out over two floors (unfortunately not accessible to wheelchairs) and contains around 100 exhibits for animals ranging from tiny insects to crocodiles and giant tortoises. All of these are appropriate in size and conditions for their inhabitants. Many of the animals here can only be seen here in Europe, including some tiny colourful geckos from the Indian Ocean. I spent several hours in here on my two visits, photographing all the animals I could see. The Afrykarium takes you on a journey through the continent and its waters. The only deviation from this theme was to replace the rare African manatees with their slightly more common Caribbean relative, of which I could see five individuals swimming in their tank. Other inhabitants include penguins, fur seals, sharks, hippopotamus, aardvarks, and elephant shrews. The building is accessible to wheelchairs with a few elevators, but one was out of service on my visit. Other notable exhibits include the bird house, with its many rare species, Pallas’s cats, and olive baboons. Overall I recommend a visit to anyone interested in birds, endangered species, unusual reptiles, or just animals in general.

I absolutely loved my visit to the Wrocław Zoo! It’s one of the most beautiful and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The animals look healthy and well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The Afrykarium is a must-see — it feels like stepping into another world! 🐠🐧 There are plenty of places to relax, grab a snack, and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect for families, couples, or just a peaceful walk surrounded by nature and animals. Highly recommend visiting! 🌿🐘🦓

Truly amazing experience! The Wrocław Zoo is much bigger than I expected and incredibly well kept. You can really see that the animals are healthy, well fed, and properly cared for — everything feels very natural and clean. There are so many different species to see, and the Afrykarium is just breathtaking! The only small downside is that not every section has English translations, but honestly, it didn’t stop us from enjoying it at all. It’s a wonderful place for both kids and adults — definitely one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. Highly recommended!

Great value for ticket cost, 176zł (£36.05 for x2 ticket, £18 per person). So many animals, a lot to see, indoor aquarium was amazing and tunnel under the sharks and rays was a highlight. Hot dogs from cafe at beginning were great, little expensive compared to other places (48zł for x2 hot dogs, x1 cola, x1 water, £8.82. Each hot dog at 12zł (£2.45) compared to 8.99zł (£1.84) for hot dogs and cola bottle elsewhere). Gift shop closed hour before zoo closed so missed out on getting any items from there sadly

Absolutely stunning—easily one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen quite a few. Massive grounds, an incredible variety of animals, and more than enough to fill an entire day. A definite must-visit if you’re in Wroclaw.
Stefan B — Google review
Great ZOO with quite a long history! I'd especially recommend pavilon with manatees (there is not very many places to see those in Europe) and very nice terrarium. There is an underground parking nearby, so you can leave your dog in the car without worries even if it's hot outside. Very worth visiting once you are in Wroclaw!

An incredible zoo with lots to see including an aquarium. The zoo covers a huge area and it’s really enjoyable to explore the grounds and buildings on site. Highly recommend a visit and would suggest half a day to explore as a minimum.

Racławice Panorama is a must-see attraction in Wroclaw, Poland. This circular building houses a 360-degree painting depicting the 1794 battle, along with maps and videos providing historical context. The city of Wroclaw offers numerous other attractions such as Ostrow Tumski, Cathedral Island, adorable gnome statues scattered around the city, and the impressive Centennial Hall.
IT WAS GORGEOUS, it will probably be one of the best things you'll see in your entire life. There's a new "performance" every 30 minutes, but I suggest you buy your ticket in advance to avoid waiting outside for too long. 🎟️ The price is worth it but it's so beautiful that 30 minutes are way too short to admire it to its fullest. There are also free audio-guides in many different languages that explain the history of the painting and describe it; but PERSONALLY I'd have preferred it without it (because it gave a bit of confusion because I focused on what the voice was saying instead of the actual painting).
Anna H — Google review
It was Amazing! If you are in Wroclaw it's a must see. My husband loved it. The panoramic painting is huge and it's designed this way for you to imagine to be in the middle of the battle. The session is 30 minutes long and the narrative is in Polish however if you need a translation please ask once you are inside. It's a beautiful beautiful piece of art. You won't regret it. It's about Polish uprising and Kosciuszko.
Anna S — Google review
I have to admit my boyfriend suggested this as a destination to go and see and I kind of thought no at the time but after going I genuinely think it was fantastic. It’s very cheap which is a bonus obviously. But you go In we bought a ticket before and you go up as a group you see the paining and they have translator devices so we chose English which if you have earphones is great and if you don’t you have to just hold the thing up to your ear. You hear all about the painting and they talk you through different sections as you walk around. It is genuinely impressive how they integrate the 360 art work with some scenery and props and lighting they’ve added to give you the immersed experience. All in all only took about 30 mins from getting there to leaving if that but it was fantastic and well worth a visit. As an aside, going during school hours will probably mean it’s full of class trips, so plan the journey that suits you. Although they sat at the side and didn’t get in the way on our trip.

A great and worthy visit in Wrocław, the painting was amazing and very impressive to see. The only thing I’d suggest with the audio guide is that it has headphones, as it was very difficult to listen to the audio guide without headphones. The entry ticket also gives you entry to 3 other museums, and I suggest you book in advance as when we first went the showing was sold out until a few hours later.
Bella L — Google review
Interesting experience-a unique panoramic painting, combined with props, makes for an impressive visualization of a battle. It is worth spending the time. The tour is guided in multiple languages. Remember to book at least 2 hours ahead of time.

The Racławice Panorama is a monumental work commemorating the Battle of Racławice in 1794. A team of painters led by Jan Stka and Wojciech Kossak exhibited it in Lviv in 1894, on the centenary of the battle. The exhibition took place in a rotunda built especially for this purpose. During the tour, you'll first see a small panorama with a brief historical overview. Then, you'll enter the center of the redoubt, where you'll walk around and admire this work. I highly recommend it :)
Robert O — Google review
While in Wroclaw, I recommend visiting the Racławice Panorama, which is displayed in a huge rotunda in the city center. The painting covers 1,800 square meters and depicts the Battle of Racławice in 1794. In front of the rotunda entrance is the so-called Small Racławice Panorama. This multimedia presentation presents the origins of the painting and the group of artists led by Wojciech Kossak and Jan Styka. A wonderful exhibition!
Tripsforgroups — Google review
Very unique experience. To me, that was the most interesting piece of art I have experiences. I enjoyed the fascinating history and stories behind the art. One thing that would make it even better would be if they could provide headphones for the translation device so you don't have to hold it to your ear the whole time

The Slaughtered Animals Monument in Wroclaw is a unique and interesting place to visit. Located near handcraft shops and popular pubs, the monument pays homage to the animals that were traded for meat in the Middle Ages. The sculptures serve as a reminder of the historical market practices where only "clean" produce could be traded at Rynek and Colth Hall, leading to the trading of meat at a distance.
A very cute statue with some animals, kids like to play around with them and it was nice to walk past them!

A lovely memorial to the slaughtered animals of Wroclaw on butchers alley. Very nice statues and lovely little street that had some art and some shops for gifts if you would like some artsy gifts to take home.

Interesting place to go in Wroclaw. The memorial to Slaughtered Animals in Wrocław. In the Middle Ages, this place was a terrible place for animals💀, but a pretty good place to buy meat 🍖. Now you can find some nice little shops...

Monument to our edible friends. I heard they put candles here on All Saints Day, I would have liked to see that.
Spelling C — Google review
Despite the handcraft shops that there are to be discovered and one of the pubs with popular «pub quizs», you will undoubtely notice the animal sculptures. They were placed there as an hommage to them, but not because they were heroes or something like this... In an earlier time when the Rynek and the Colth hall were used as a market place, not every produce could be traded there, but those supposed clean. It meant that meat had to be selled and bought a bit farther. Thus little street not far was the chisen place. In fact just in front of the animals you will still find the wood doors on the floor were merchants kept the meat (and themselves) underground to offer it to the people passing by without spreading their smell.

Thousands of tree & flower species fill this lush green space, known for its rhododendrons & lilies.
One of the most beautiful flower orchards and parks that I have ever visited! This place is not only rich in history (many flowers were actually created here!) but it’s landscaping and depth of flower variety is truly breathtaking. I highly recommend you come here in the spring season and preferably not in weekends or holidays as the feeling is unlikely to be the same with the crowds. I suggest you take 3-5 hours for your visit, possibly including a picnic on the grounds (it’s allowed). There is also a surprisingly good cafeteria with warm and cold meals, excellent cakes and good coffee!

Amazing place! Definitely recommend to visit. Perfect place to relax . All plants and trees have tables with names. Big playground for the children. Additionally you can buy a map for children on which you will be collecting stamps during your walk in the garden. The perfect time for visiting is spring when everything is in bloom.

Beautiful place for a nice walk, variety of plants, rocks display, grill, playground for kids. A free car park. Just a bit too crowded, and when you walk in - just number of ads, food places etc makes you dizzy. When you just over the first part, rest allow you to enjoy weather and nature

A great place to visit to walk among beautiful flowers. But I am told May is the best time when they are in full bloom. You could easily spend half a day here. Bring some food if you want to cook over a barbecue. You can buy food but the queues are long. There's a fun game for children to collect stamps dotted around the place. But this is a place to relax and enjoy the sun. But that's where it's appeal ends, as not sure what you can do in any other type of weather.

Twierdza Kłodzko is a massive fortress that dates back to the 17th century and has been expanded and modified over the years. It is the largest and best-preserved fortification of its kind in Poland, covering 17 hectares with walls measuring up to 11m thick. The fortress offers night tours, historical re-enactments, and features underground tunnels.
Very cool, defensive fortress with centuries of history. The underground corridors are impressive and sometimes even scary with their tight size and darkness. A very interesting place to visit. I recommend it

The many facilities in the fort tell a thrilling story of the functions and the people who worked here. A well preserved historic site, worth visiting in the area.

Such a cool place to visit. This unique fortification complex is one of the kind. We recommend to buy combined ticket to tour the fort and the underground tunnels/the labyrinth. The views of Kłodzko town and surrounding hills from the observation points are remarkable.

We paid 60pln for castle and labirent I think it’s a lot for this place because it’s a castle in 24.500 people population city It might be quite important place however they don’t even have English guide for the tour . I tried to understand with the things they put for reading but Some of parts were just polish as well. Inside was not super interesting and only tunnel was okey to see The lady explained everything Polish and we didn’t understand anything and we got bored . It’s not worth it money 💰

The Underground City Osówka is a fascinating tourist attraction located in the Ani plateau, characterized by hundreds of caves that have been carved out over time for various purposes such as dwellings, animal shelters, churches and pigeon houses. Among these caves are a network of tunnels and rooms built during WWII by Nazi slave workers, whose purpose remains unknown to this day. While the research on this underground city has been limited, visitors can explore it with a guide who shares stories about its history and significance.
Great spot for history and mystery lovers! The tour was in polish but there are English audio guides available. I will always remember this experience!

Great experience, awesome place to visit. That being said, english audio guide can be rented next to the ticket office at the gift shop. They wanted us to pay 50 euros per audio guide as a deposit. I didn't have cash and the lady said that's fine go ahead and insisted we return them at the gift shop. When we returned everything was closed only people were some waiters from the next door restaurant so we left the audio guides with them. Questions - if the audio guides are worth 100 euros wouldn't you want them back ? Was it forgetfulness or trying a scam ?

Awesome place to visit. It takes one hour, possible to pay by card. Audio guide is available in several langages (Cz, UA, RO, HU, D, EN...)

Very interesting place! Did both tours. The "special" tour is only in Polish and will take you through the flooded part of the tunnels. Its approximately 200m in the dark but you get a flashlight along. This is the only extra compared to the normal tour The normal tour is with an audio-guide in English, French, German or Czech. Together with the guide you'll walk trough the illuminated tunnels. At every stop he tells something in Polish and as a non Polish person you can listen to the audio-guide. Both tours take app. 50 minutes. The guides speak a bit of English so you can ask them for some extra info. After the tour is finished you can walk up the mountain to see the casino and the ruins. An intense but nice walk.
Michiel — Google review
Great experience, really good tour guide provided a lot of information.
Katarzyna W — Google review
What a disappointing tour - if you are not Polish! If you do not speak Polish, you get an audio guide. The audio guide however is inadequate. They put non- Polish speakers all together in a group with polish speakers who have an actual human guide. Some sections of the audio guide lasts for 2 minutes, say. Then you have to then wait until the human tour guide speaks to the rest of the group for a further 5 minutes or more. Why can't the audio guide be the same content as if you were a Polish speaking tourist? I thought the whole experience was to attract tourists from all over the world to spend their money here and learn about Polish history. Also, the tour guide is loud, so the people listening to headphones (sorry, 'headphone' because they only give you one!) can't actually hear what is being said in their ear. So the audio guide people linger at the back and then get told off (quite rudely) by the guide for being left behind whilst they are still listening. Some sections of the tour were spoken by the tour guide in Polish and were completely missed off the audio guide. It is a shame because this piece of history is very important and interesting to this part of Poland. I came away feeling that because I wasn't a Polish speaker, I was treated like a second class citizen. Either make the audio guide much better or seperate the Polish speakers from the non-speaking tourists.
Frapptree — Google review
Nice experience! First impression then you come closer to the cave - is extreme cold. So do not forget warm clothes. The cave itself is impressive, the same as the history behind it. Guides are only in polish language, so do not forget to take audio guide at the ticket office. Deposit for it only in cash.

The Church of Peace in Świdnica is a remarkable wooden religious venue, boasting ornate Baroque interiors and offering tours and services. It is part of the Churches of Peace, which were built by Silesian Protestants following the 1648 Peace of Westphalia. Only two of the original three churches have survived, with Świdnica's being one of them. In 2001, these churches were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
This is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever visited. The wood structure is unique and it is amazing to see a wooden church still in use after so many years. There are plenty of plaques outside around church where you can read about the history of relevant buildings and the cemetery. Inside the church you can read the information brochure and admire the art inside. When I visited this place, there were very few tourists so that you can spend a lot of time to appreciate the masterpiece. The history of the church is also very moving. I did not have a parking lot dedicated for this church. I guess street parking is the most convenient way. The parking meters show information in English and are easy to use.

Quite beautiful and special 17 century Lutheran church. It’s the largest Baroque wooden church in Europe. Thank to it’s remote location, the church was intact after WWII. It took us about one hour and half to admire the church, its surrounding and learn about its history. At the ticket counter you can get a document which explains most important details of the church ( history, construction, maintenance, renovation….) don’t miss it.
NGUYEN V — Google review
It is definitely a must see if you are in the town. The church was built only with wood in very little time. All the information about the church history is available on leaflets once you are there. Judging by the exterior - which is also nice - you could not tell how beautiful the interior is.

We always visit this place in Świdnica with tourist groups. It's the largest wooden Baroque church in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The first mass was celebrated in 1657. Although the church was built as a result of religious wars, it remains a symbol of reconciliation.

Książ Castle, the largest castle in Lower Silesia, is a grand chateau-style complex situated on a hill overlooking the river Pelcznica and part of the Waldenberg mountains. Originally built in 1288 and expanded in the 16th century, it showcases Gothic, Baroque, and Rococo architectural styles. The castle offers guided tours with informative audioguides that seamlessly lead visitors through its rich history and art gallery.
Zamek Książ is a very impressive historical place to visit with rich history, culture and mystery. The palace is so huge, elegant, well maintained, super clean and well managed. Thump up for the dedicated staff. I have visited the palace few times and I well visit again as it is near impossible that you can absorbe this rich history from one visit particularly when you see the picture of Princess Daisy with her dazzling beauty and philanthropy. But I am glad that after the WWII, the castle was restored and open to the public to see first hand the beauty and charm of such amazing historical castle in the whole world. You got to see the place. You will not regret it. I recommend.

We walked in the summer, but wanted to see this castle last winter, which might be a bit problem as the path may have been a bit slippery. It's a nice circuit along the river, quite uphill, from St Anne's church, (ruins) through the old castle to the new chateau , which is beautiful and the park maintained, free to enter. The place is photogenic and on the way there you can stop at the viewpoint. However, choose the right part of the day not to have the sun directly to your eyes.

Unbelievable castle! Very huge with an extended park. Tha castle itself is nicely decorated and furnished. You can feel the atmosphere of the past. By official suggestion you need 2.5 hours to go round but we did it shorter because we didn't have too much time. We went on the underground tour as well which is very interesting. It was part of the Rise Project of nazi Germany. A sharp contrast with the peaceful world of the castle!! You have to climb a lot of stairs!! Be careful. But it is worth!

Wikson — Google review
It was an interesting visit, but there were some organizational issues. Ksiaz Castle is definitely worth a visit. The self-guided tour of the interior is interesting and informative. Seeing the original furniture and décor from different historical periods was fascinating and really helped us imagine life in those times. The castle is large, and the tour takes about one to two hours, depending on your pace. You can explore at your own pace, which is a big plus. After finishing the tour of the interior, you can access the gardens, where you can walk around, relax, and even grab a bite to eat at the café. Note that prices are on the expensive side. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with the security staff. Due to the large number of visitors, it was difficult to stop and take photos, so I wanted to walk back and capture some shots I had missed. However, I was told that going against the flow is not allowed, even though I saw someone else (not a staff member) doing so freely. It felt inconsistent and frustrating. Make sure not to skip the underground section of the tour. It provides fascinating insight into the castle’s role during WWII. It's quite cold underground, so bring a warm layer. Plan to spend about 40 minutes down there. Overall: It's a beautiful, historic place worth visiting, but be prepared for some crowd-related limitations during peak times.

Better to come earlier to prevent huge queue for the tickets. Use terminals to the left from tickets office (same enter as tickets office), they were totally free. Great and clean place inside and outside. P.s. if you want to enjoy coffee after visiting castle - better stay in cafe inside (NOT on terrace), because they have huge queue and bad coffee quality. So buy inside whatever you want (as take away) and enjoy terrace view.

Adršpach-Teplice Rocks is a nature reserve featuring impressive sandstone rock formations, perfect for tours and rock climbing. The rocks were formed 85 million years ago under the Cretaceous sea, making it feel like a prehistoric wonderland. Visitors can explore clearly marked paths and enjoy the stunning beauty of nature. In winter, the area can be slippery but still worth visiting, while in summer, it's an ideal place to cool down.
Adršpach Rock Formations – Like Another World Absolutely surreal place – it really feels like stepping into another world. A beautiful destination, perfect for families. Everything is incredibly clean, especially considering how many tourists visit. The first time we went was on a weekend – and wow, it was packed! No tickets left, no parking spots. It was chaos. I highly recommend going on a weekday morning. There are way fewer people, which makes it much easier to walk, climb the stairs, and just enjoy the experience without being rushed or bumped into. Make sure to buy your tickets (and parking) online in advance – saves you a lot of stress and ensures you can enter on time. If you’re wondering whether it’s doable with kids – it is! We managed the entire trail with our 4-year-old. We carried them up the steeper stairs, but overall, it was totally worth it. As for the extra boat ride – there’s not that much to see (a short trip through marshy water), but it was still worth it. The captain was hilarious – we hadn’t laughed that much in a while! And the climb up those stairs afterward made it even more memorable.

A little over 2 hours drive from Prague, but worth the journey! Breathtaking scenery around every bend. The main green trail is easy. The yellow trail is more intense terrain, but well marked. Impossible to get lost. I spent 5 hours here.

Incredible piece of nature. It is not my first time here but I always enjoy it. No toilets, but the walk is not that long. Outside places with souvenirs, food and drinks. Cash only for food, tickets are fine for debit card.

Absolutely amazing day trip, it's a bit tiring but overall I'd definitely recommend. Some of the views are stunning.

Great place for a hike. Really impressive rocks, nice viewpoints. Tickets are for scheduled hours, so plan your visit few hours before.

The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks are absolutely stunning! The natural rock formations and breathtaking scenery make it a must-visit destination. We opted for the green trail, a beautiful hike that took us around an hour and a half through the park. The walk was peaceful and offered amazing views at every turn. Just a heads up, you need to book your tickets in advance. We scheduled our visit for 5:00 PM, which turned out to be the perfect time—great weather and fewer crowds. Highly recommend!

Church of Peace in Jawor

Lutheran church
Sights & Landmarks
Churches & Cathedrals
Beautiful church made entirely out of timber! No metal used, no stones, even the nails keeping the planks together are wooden. No wonder it is a UNESCO site. There is an entry fee, and for taking photos there is another fee, so please remember to bring some cash with you.
Kamila W — Google review
The church is absolutely stunning, and well worth the visit and drive despite it being out of the way from normal tourist stops. To our surprise, when we paid the entrance fee he put English audio on over the speakers that narrated the history of the church. I know it's in several other languages as he did the same for other visitors. It was quiet and peaceful and we explored the nooks and crannies downstairs. The Church of Peace in Jawor was built in the mid-17th century after the Thirty Years’ War, when Protestants were granted the rare right to build a place of worship—but only under strict conditions. The church had to be constructed outside city walls, without a bell tower, and using only perishable materials like wood, straw, and clay. Despite these limitations, it became a stunning example of timber-frame architecture and is a marvel to wonder at today.
Molly S — Google review
Very beautiful Church made out of Timber. It is definitely worth a visit to this beautiful Church. There is an entry fee that is very minimal but they do not provide any guides in English. You have to look at the pictures to see how beautiful this church is inside. When we were there there were people working on the church refinishing portions of the art. I'm glad that they are renovating the portions that need to be done and I want to be able to support this effort.
Mike B — Google review
One of only three lutheran churches allowed to be constructed in Poland during the second half of the 17th century. Of the three, only two remain, those in Lawor and Swidnica. They now belong to the Unesco world heritage. When I visited in July of 2025 I was the only visitor. You pay an entrance fee upon which you have to pay an additional fee if you are taking photographs. The church is constructed using the same materials as in many regular houses of its time, wooden beams, clay and straw. The interior is beautifully decorated in baroque style and can seat up to 6000 people on several rows of balconies. A marvelous experience that you definitely should not miss if you are in the region of any of these two cities.

Must visit. Top architecture. No nails used while building. Stunning inside.
Anna P — Google review
A stunning example of 17th-century engineering and religious resilience. Built entirely out of wood, without nails, in just one year – and it still stands strong nearly 400 years later. A must-see for anyone interested in architecture, history, or how to outsmart imperial restrictions. And yes, they accept card payments – bless modernity.

We visited the castle and toured the rooms. Very nice setting. We did not stay at the hotel, but visited for a day. A large part of the front gate and keep was off-limits for visitors, likely due to safety and restoration, but was a disappointment for our young boys who live to explore castles. It was a nice place to explore and relax.

I took one star from the service just because they couldn't speak English and the menu was handwriten so I couldn't translate or understand then I decided not to eat there, but the staff is kind even if not speaking English, which was nice. The place had toilets, some tables and chairs to eat/chill and good parking area inside the castle. Everything really clean.

WAY to expensive tickets!!! Half, if not more, of the castle is closed off, you pay 28 PLN to see a few rooms with bunch of random furniture. Take a picture from the outside and save yourself the money! Only up is that there is free parking

This was a lot of fun. I really enjoy the old castles that let you explore every nook and cranny on your own. There’s something a lot more personal to be let alone to explore at whim. A lot of great views from the rooftops and fun camera angles. A must stop if you’re in the area. We drove over and hour to get here and it was totally worth it!

Kamieńczyk Waterfall is a stunning natural attraction located in the picturesque mountain environment of the Polish Karkonosze Mountains. As the highest waterfall in the Sudetes, it cascades down 27 meters in a three-stage cascade to form the beautiful Kamieńczyk Gorge. The waterfall's threshold sits at an altitude of 843 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views and photo opportunities.
Lovely walking route with a nice mix of gentle slopes at the start and a steeper incline towards the end. It was quite slippery due to the snow, so good footwear is a must. Perfect spot for kids to enjoy sledging, and the peaceful atmosphere was a big plus—hardly any crowds. The views of the forest were absolutely stunning. A hidden gem for a quiet winter day outdoors!

Beautiful waterfall and great experience! There’s a small entry fee to get closer to the falls, and they provide helmets for safety. The walk is scenic, and the view up close is amazing. Definitely worth a visit!
Sane_traveler — Google review
Nice waterfall, we got to see it strong after a rainy day. Expensive for what it is, the paid section to the bottom literally takes 5 minutes. It is cool to see however. Free to look from top. I hate they paved the path up there, it is supposed to make it accessible for seniors but nobody's grandma is going up that hill! It takes 15 minutes to walk there from the parking lot.
Petra C — Google review
Beautiful place and very short walk from the main road. There are two parking lots. The one at the entrance is small and gets full quite fast. The second one near the intersection is a good choice. The waterfall is really beautiful. It gets icy on the trail there, so crampons are highly recommended.

I’m leaving my opinion with regards to the visit to the castle, not the hotel. Unfortunately the trip went bad. We have a 2 years old daughter and my wife is 7 months pregnant. Usually this is not an issue and we are used to travel quite a lot, our daughter as well. We visit castles, museums etc. When a visit involves going down or up a very narrow tower or suffocating space, the guide informs visitors in advance. Well, not here. The group was quite numerous for those spaces and at the end of the tour, we were invited to visit the cellars but, little did we know that this involved going down a very very claustrophobic space. So my wife had to go back almost fainting and my little daughter didn’t handle that and I had to follow my wife. Of course with ZERO help from the guide or other visitors. That was just..bad. Overall the experience as a human was negative.
Marco N — Google review
As a foreigner non polish speaking person the experience was mediocre at best. We were told that we could not see the castle unless we joined a tour. They only offered polish speaking tours apparently. The guide seemed mad at us for being there. Very poorly serviceminded. The castle it self was beautiful. But would it recommend for non polish speakers.
Jackie L — Google review
The promotional materials claim that the castle looks like something out of Harry Potter… well, that’s quite an exaggeration. I get that they need to attract tourists somehow, but the PR team really let their imagination run wild here. Take that description with about 2% truth—maybe even less. But the surroundings, especially in autumn, are truly beautiful.
L S — Google review
Fantastic place to visit with great history. As a hotel I would say it mid-range, with simple breakfast and small car park. But the surroundings makes up for that. And quite expensive to be honest.
Przemek A — Google review
It’s true that the castle and its grounds are spectacular — perched above the river with rose gardens and fountains, with its old walls and ramparts intact. The hotel, on the other hand, is a letdown. First, hotel parking was not free nor was it close to the castle. Written info on the castle is not available in English (confusing, as some signage inside is in English). There is no seating in the lobby, which is OK only when weather is nice. The vast majority of the castle is not accessible, nor was a tour offered when I checked in. There are amenities listed online and in their brochure that do not exist (e.g. a sauna and spa facilities). Wifi was spotty and at times did not work at all. think it’s a shame that one of Europe’s most spectacular castle hotels is, as it turns out, not very nice at all.
Jacob O — Google review
I was expecting more, at least something like Książ. Unfortunately, the group was quite big and noisy and at times it was hard to hear the guide. The castle itself is just average, not more than that. The ticket price is 10 euros for an adult, which is 5 times more expensive than in some Spanish castles. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it to my friends either.

Stalag Luft III

Historical place
Museums
History Museums
World War II prisoner-of-war camp, known for escape attempts & featured in The Great Escape film.
Plenty of information on the history of Zagan and the Great Escape. They have a small-scale escape tunnel you can crawl through on a little sled. The museum portion is well taken care of and is accommodating of English speakers. Very clean WCs. The old camp portion is a neat place to explore, just watch your step as there are a lot of building ruins and uneven ground. The tunnel locations are marked on the ground. Harry is the easiest to find, but you can also find other ruins if you explore. Bring cash for entry.

The location of Stalag Luft III is within a beautiful forest where the ruins are located. As been stated, this is a famous World War II historical site made famous by the Steve McQueen movie "The Great Escape". Interesting walk through the ruins with informative placards.

Great wee museum, cash only entry, they take ZL and Euro. €5 entry. Museum building with detailed information and artifacts. Full recreated POW hut. Then go 1km out into the woods, still on the POW Camp site to see the site. Of bits 104 105 and tunnel Harry. You can drive there. There's also a memorial to the 50 escaped officers that were shot. Great Escape. 👍

Be aware that the museum doesn't open until 10am. That aside, it's a fantastic place to visit and helps to tell the story of life in Stalag Luft lll. I felt that I understood the escape much better after I had visited here and I consider it a must do for all fans of the story

Incredible location. Out in the middle of the woods with no restrictions on access. A poignant reminder of the bravery and determination of those that fought for the freedom of Europe. Be aware the museum nearby is closed on a Monday.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to go to the real great escape camp. My pops showed me this movie when I was 13 and I’ve watched it a lot throughout my life. So on my first euro trip I included Poland in it for a few days, rented a car and drove from Wroclaw, about 95 miles. The actual site is about a half a mile away from the museum which is really cool! The woman there didn’t speak English, you’re in zagan so it’s expected, I didn’t have cash, they require cash but she nicely let me in. I spent about two hours at stalag luft 3, there isn’t much there but remains, but it’s beautiful. Can’t believe I finally made it there.

Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul, also known as Peterskirche, is a remarkable Gothic church with impressive twin spires and a distinctive copper roof. One of its main attractions is the renowned 1700s "solar organ," crafted by Eugenio Casparini, which produces beautiful music that captivates visitors. Guided tours are available several times a week for those who want to experience the enchanting sounds of this world-famous instrument.
Amazing church ⛪️ As an agnostic myself, I felt very impressive aura inside. Great architecture!

On a picturesque bank holiday, my family and I ventured to Görlitz, eager to immerse ourselves in its enchanting old town, highlighted by the imposing St. Peter's and Paul's church. Dominating the skyline with its majestic twin towers, the church stands as a beacon of the Middle Ages, casting its historical spell over the town. However, our excitement was tempered by disappointment as we discovered the church to be closed. Despite this setback, its exterior beauty alone was enough to leave us in awe, imagining the splendor hidden within its walls. While unable to explore its interior, the church undeniably serves as a captivating centerpiece of Görlitz's rich history. Despite the missed opportunity, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this architectural gem, a testament to Görlitz's storied past and a must-see for any enthusiast of historical marvels.

From what we could see, the building was indeed beautiful and impressive. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of a performance on the church organ, and so it was not possible to wander around. We sat through about fifteen minutes of fairly simple tunes, with commentary, after which we got up and left (and although entrance is free, and we hadn't come for the organ performance, there was someone asking for donations at the exit). Outside, we looked at the view (also quite impressive) for a few minutes, then walked round the back of the church. As we did so, we heard some tremendous playing - we thought it was probably a piece by Bach, although we couldn't actually identify it - and stood by a wooden door to listen. We went on a Thursday and arrived at about 12:20. So my advice is - check before you go that there is no event scheduled, and if you do go to an organ performance, stay to the end (but maybe take something to read during the first half hour).

Dinosaur park with life-size prehistoric creature models & adventure playground with nets & ropes.
Severely underrated local dinosaur park that should be on the scale of Disney Land globally! The pictures do not do it justice and you must visit to see for yourself how well done it is. The amount of thoughtful structuring and artistic work that was put towards building this theme park is mind blowing! My favourite section is the thriller of the lost world. The park has different scattered sections for kids to play around, climb and slide, and dig up dinosaur fossils. There is a lot to do and can easily take all day. Great for families and young kids, and for anyone who appreciates ancient history.

Found it on Google maps under dinosaur attractions and boy it didn't dissapoint. Massive park with dinosaurs hidden at times in woods, plenty of playgrounds and little places that will remind you 90s was the best decade. The Jurrasic Park bit was our favourite. You can stay overnight in a parking lot if you are self-sufficient Shop could do with bit of variety, but that's really not important. Loved it! Oh, and there is a very informative section about the evolution of the human relations:)

Experience is better than expected. Something for every ages. Great playgrounds for even the little ones. And also an impressive interpretation of jurassic park in the "vergessene Welt" area. Respect! Can recommend this park. Hint: no quality food available, only basic fast food on single use dishes... better bring your own food.

Wonderful park created by Prince Pückler in 1846 with ponds, waterways and bridges. Earth pyramids on land and in the middle of a pond are lovely. A fine castle with sculptures is inspired by Greek, Roman and Oriental mythologies. The castle's interior is splendid. In my opinion more intriguing than Bad Muskau Park.
Jayjay V — Google review
We drove out early because it was going to be a very hot day (34 C) and we had our dog with us. The inner park is beautiful with incredible trees. They’re all well looked after and the paths go through nice shaded and open areas. You can tell Fürst Pückler loved nature and things dear to him. Where else would you find a grave for his dog, his favourite Arabian horse and a pyramid for his wife. It’s certainly worth while coming here also during the other seasons to see the colours of the trees. The mansion costs 9€ entrance fee and has a big collection of paintings and a beautiful library. There are 3 places where you can take a break. We had lunch at the „Kavalier“ and ended the tour at the cafe „Der Kleine Kavalier“, where we also got water for the dog (don‘t worry, we had enough water for him with us)

Today we visited this Museum. It was really interesting. It’s not too big, but the last bit is currently shut as they are renewing a few things. There are some things for children to do. Stories are told in some of the houses. There are toilets inside, if needed.

A bit too small for the entry fee but as a student you get 1,50€ discount on regular 5,00 €. Even in the small venue, it shows the culture and lifestyle of then isolated community of Spreewald. You can even try some of the old wooden shoes and try washing clothes in the old north sorbic way. You can listen to how the language of the area used to be. I was excited to see, how the women used to cover their head and hairs some 50-60 years ago in western countries, and why the generations of same culture take the same thing from other cultures as questionable after just 50/60 years.

Sprawling health center with thermal pools, saunas & steam baths, plus a salt room & spa treatments.
My Buddy and I had a fantastic time here. We spend over 10 hours here. The Sauna options are awesome. So many great choices. Everybody is friendly. A very relaxed and chilled place to enjoy a day of relaxation. They have Hefeweizen on Tap which is really great. The Food in the Restaurant was awesome. We had lunch and later dinner there. I can't saying anything negative about the food or service. We mainly chilled on the rooftop patio. Sunday is a great time to come, no many people around. The pools are fun too. Loved the floating quite pool. We had such a great time we will be back. Can't wait. Thanks for letting us enjoy the facilities to the end. We where some of the last to leave. Thanks for your patience. The employees make the place special. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Huh somewhere between 3 and 4 tbh, but somehow more for three. So in consideration of price, and comparing price this price with vabali I would say that this spa fails the most. 6h with saunas and therme included is smth like 95 euros and ok its fine but I would for this price expect few basic things: - there is no shower gel.. - really limited and hidden places for taking water even in new buildings there is no place for drinkable water - towels not provided - because of location I would expect that's cheaper And then few things that I would expect for this money: - Ordering in a restaurant is like you need to go to the place order food and then they will bring it to you, it's kind of a half self service - would expect a lot of more sun beds it's almost impossible to find one that's free and many of them are just covered with someone's towel. - just found at the end that it's forbidden to take pictures, I don't have an issue with not taking pictures but it's really not so obvious Positive things: - really nice big pools, salty water, sound pool - Thai restaurants have really good food - new building panorama sauna and last floor terrace is awesome Overall, most of sauna's are really small so for sauna part if you want to visit there is much better sauna focus spa and it's in the center of Berlin. But for pools, I would definitely choose this one over the Vabali.

The worst possible experience to come all the way from Berlin to Bad Saarow Therme with the family to experience that this place solely dedicated to senior citizens/adults on Fridays and Saturdays. Children-free days are Friday and Saturday. What a “family-friendly” approach :( Terrible! BIG NOT thank you to the management of this place for ruining my son’s weekend! :(

I've been to better spas..... My wife and I went here last night because we received a gift certificate for our wedding. We spent a little over 6 hours in the pool and sauna. Unfortunately, we didn't like it that much. While the saunas themselves are great, our favorite was the panoramic sauna overlooking the lake, everything else is tiny and feels cramped. The large saltwater pool is nice, but not as relaxing. And again, the space between the pools and the beds is very small and hard to walk around. A big positive surprise was the restaurant. We had the edamame, gyoza, mangu curry with shrimp and bun bo nam bo. It was delicious. Probably one of the best Thai meals I've had west of Phuket. Unfortunately, the evening ended on a sour note as the parking garage is also - surprise, surprise - super cramped and I scratched the rims of our car going down the super narrow ramp. To sum up: we've been here, but we prefer the SpreewaldTherme in Burg or the VaBali Spa in Berlin.

Lovely place to go. The saunas have really nice view to the park! I wished that they had a proper restaurant with more options in the afternoon.

This spa is about 1 hour by train from Berlin then around 20 minutes by bus. Ideally you should spend at least 3 hours to really enjoy it. It offers jacuzzi, swimming pools and sauna. I loved the jacuzzi and the lavender sauna along with many cold and hot showers. Daily pass cost Euro 27 and 10 extra for sauna. Unfortunately, the food is very limited and the sitting is just wooden benches with ants crawling all over the tables. Obsulatly disgusting! There is a nice park overlooking a lake next to it , it's worth a visit.

This is one of the most relaxing and clean public thermal and spa places I've seen. It's affordable, you can reach it by train and public transport in less than an hour and half from Berlin. They have different kinds of pools inside and outside. I would like to give a plus point for the pool with underwater music and its relaxing atmosphere. I heard its textile-free for adults on Saturday. Make a phone call and reassure it before you head on to this beautiful oasis.

Super cool feelings during the winter time! There are lots of pool to chill inside and one of them in outside which is the coolest one! For 3 hours cost is 17 euro around, I paid in January 2020. They give a bracelet for entrance and locker to put your stuff safely. Only one thing was really annoying if you go there really busy time, after bathing when you’re exiting from the place you need to wait in the line to give your bracelet and for payment! It’s horrible system which I saw first time in my entirely life! Why they’re not taking money at the entrance and putting a box to want us to put bracelets... I didn’t expect from Germany sorry but disappointed.
