Jukkasjärvi church, dating back to 1726 with some original parts from 1607, is a beautiful red-colored timber building with a stand-alone bell tower. It features a special timber construction that is the only one preserved in the country. The interior is adorned with unique colors typical of the Sami culture.
Nice small church with interesting painting . Perfect place to have your quiet time with your creator.

A small church at the end of the road. It was so freezing that we could not enter. Free to enter as well.
Mervyn P — Google review
A beautiful church in Jukkasjarvi. This is the last stop on the Kiruna - Jukkasjarvi bus route, and an ideal starting point for your Jukkasjarvi exploration. Start at the church, walk down to the Sami Siida adjacent to the property, then walk down to the ice hotel, and take the bus back to kiruna.
Justin F — Google review
Beautiful from the inside and the outside. The inside is very special, I have never seen a church like this before. The colours which are used for the furniture and pictures are the colours which are typical for the Sami.

Small, pintoresque and very peculiar church

Nice church on the end of the world :) if you are visiting Swedish Lapland I recommend you to visit this place. But remember it's a church, be quiet and peaceful, respect other people around you :)

Coffee shop
Nutti Sámi Siida offers an authentic Sami experience with traditional gahkku and reindeer served in a teepee-like lavvu tent. Visitors can learn about Sami culture through informative signs and guided tours, as well as the opportunity to feed friendly reindeer. The on-site restaurant serves local recipes in a cozy setting, while the museum showcases various aspects of Sami life.
We had a wonderful experience here, the outdoor museum was informative, the cafe served delicious food and some unique handmade crafts were available to purchase. The highlight for my daughter was feeding the reindeer, and the nature beauty of the location was hard to beat.
Steve R — Google review
I visited the museum in December. Since most of the exhibits were outdoors and it was cold, I went through it pretty quickly—about 30 minutes—because I couldn't stand in one spot for too long to read the information, even though it was quite interesting. The most memorable part was feeding the reindeer. The museum's restaurant had very cozy decor and friendly staff, but the portions were quite small for the price.
Lea S — Google review
An exciting museum that provides a good insight into the life of the Sami people. The opportunity to feed reindeer is great. Beforehand, there is a clear explanation of what to pay attention to when feeding them. The admission prices are rather expensive. Unfortunately, the film about the life of the Sami people was not showing. One hour is sufficient to view the entire facility and the exhibits.
Jacqueline G — Google review
We visited in winter, so there wasn't as much going on outside. There was a lot of learning to be had from the static displays of structures and how they were used, as well as signs that described most aspect of native life. Very interesting. The highlight for us was the reindeer exhibit where we were able to feed and pet reindeer. Beautiful creatures and very friendly.
Eric F — Google review
I failed to understand why the tickets are so expensive !!! - It is a small museum, and tries to explain everything in only a few artifacts and boards. I have visited much better museums(about Samis) at a lower cost. - While feeding the reindeer is a nice experience for kids, they charge SEK 50 for a pocket bag of lichen. - One of the rooms which probably has exhibits of daily products used by Samis was locked. - The film was a bit informative but still has a lot of scope for improvement. My suggestion is to save money, and invest it in other Sami museums.
Omkar J — Google review
Restaurant serving indigenous Dami dish. Outdoors museum exhibits the dwelling and storage structures of Sami peoples. There are many reindeers roaming around and you can pet it.
Somkietr R — Google review
an experience that can't be missed -- from feeding reindeers, to getting chased by them for not feeding them fast enough, to the history of the Sami through various depiction of life, this is a treat. must round it off with a delicious meal of salmon soup & succulent reindeer meat burger at their restaurant. make sure to check out their website for opening hours, especially during the Christmas period.
Indraneel B — Google review
A small outdoor museum with Reindeers! We got the snacks to feed the reindeers in their enclosure. It was up close and you can pet them as well. But they can get a little aggressive but the staff will give you advice before entering. Other locations to see how the Sami people live in the past. There is a small shop and a cafe with big fire place which was important for tourists in the winter.

Ájtte ("The Sami Storage Hut")

Mentioned on

Museum
Public library
Ájtte ("The Sami Storage Hut") is a captivating museum that offers an in-depth exploration of Sami culture. The museum features various themed chambers showcasing traditional costumes, silverware, mythical creatures from Sami folklore, ancient painted shaman drums, and replicas of sacrificial sites. One particularly intriguing exhibit explains the uses and significance of different reindeer entrails.
Very interesting and informative! Make sure to grab an English pamphlet by the entrance for translations on the exhibits. A good museum on an amazing people. Lockers available. Give yourself at least 2 hours to see entire musuem.
Jon F — Google review
Fantastic museum Well laid out and interpreted. Loads for kids to do and a fly though 3D experience of Lapponia that was breathtaking. A pity the cafe was closed and there was no coffee BUT there was a great Grill House around the corner.
Graham W — Google review
Very interesting museum, which teaches a lot about the history of the Samipeople, their art and culture. Nature and animals of the north are explained very competent too.
Hiking A — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ájtte Museum A truly fascinating and well-organized museum! The exhibitions offer deep insight into Sámi history, culture, and the natural environment of Sápmi. Beautifully curated and easy to follow – highly recommended for anyone interested in the North and its heritage.
Suvi S — Google review
Very good museum, my daughter who is currently writing her masters on history/museum learned something about how the Swedish state still suppress the Sami culture, by not giving credit to the Sami people who assisted on expeditions.

Silvermuseet

Silvermuseet, located in Arjeplog, is a captivating museum housed in a former nomad school. It boasts an extensive collection of Sami silver objects, including belt buckles, spoons, goblets, and collars with cultural significance. Visitors can also admire unique items such as the dassko bag for silver spoons and ancient skis worn by Sami hunters.
Absolutely amazing museum where you can learn about life in Arjeplog in the past, the cool sámi people, the nature and surroundings and the impressive doctor who worked in the area for decades and later established this museum after his retirement. Through a picture slideshow and rooms decorated as in the past, you could get a feeling how people actually lived. Also the museum staff were very friendly and shared their stories and experiences. Would highly recommend a visit! I was very pleased with mine. Thank you for having me!
Uki B — Google review
Outstanding cultural historical museum featuring the Sami way of life and art forms. The museum shop is excellent and features a very interesting and rich book section. There was a separate exhibition of heads of famous people made in felt, a local technique also used to produce boots. The museum is very well curated and we consider a visit a must if you are in the region.
Sebastian R — Google review
One of the best museums I've seen so far in Sweden. A lot of explanations in English about local life. Don't miss the slideshow...and coffee!
Agnieszka W — Google review
Visited during Autumn Market Saturday. Really great exhibition on Sami culture and clothing with silver ornaments and decorations. Great book shop. Fantastic indoor and outdoor market stalls with local produce.
Anne T — Google review
Nice little museum with friendly staff. Entrance under age of 18 is free and for adults 80SEK. Exhibition showed how sami people lived, hunted etc you can see their silver accessories and some prehistoric tools. One bad thing with this museum was that at least half of the exhibition was only in Swedish and not in English, so a bit hard to understand the history and context overall.
Indrek K — Google review
The museum shows local history in different facets. The life of the Sámi, their jewelry and utensils are shown exemplarily. But also something about the founder of the museum, the doctor Einar Wallquist, whose collection was the starting point. The surprisingly large first floor is unexpectedly modern in design. The museum must of course try the impossible balancing act of combining the various exhibits into a whole exhibition. With some topics this succeeds excellently, with others the visitor can at least get a fragmentary impression of another time and culture.
Andro M — Google review
Silvermuseet is an outstanding place to learn about the lives of local people. The exhibits provide a fascinating glimpse into their daily living, clothing, and overall lifestyle. The museum also features a short film, which enhances the experience by offering a visual representation of the historical context. I highly recommend visiting Silvermuseet for anyone interested in cultural history and local traditions.

Lycksele Zoo

Zoo

Nice to experience. We went there Saturday during the winter and they are only open with reservation. I was able to book with them in their FB account. When we were there, the zoo is empty of people and saw that there are only 2 groups booked for that day. It was a very exclusive experience since virtually it was just us on the zoo so we were able to enjoy the place. And it's very interesting to see animals during the winter.
Michael G — Google review
We went there around 14:30. The food has finished in the cafeteria so we had to survive with just drinks. I suggest them to have food until the zoo closes. We took the train to see around. It was a good experience. We saw some animals. But I wish there were more animals to worth the entrance fee of 250 sek. Clean and tidy.
Dil A — Google review
Really liked the zoo. We saw arctic fox, muskox, moose, wolf and some other animals 👍🏻
Mitul S — Google review
Feeding time was the best part.
Umme H — Google review
The animals are well cared for and they have english information for most animals. Recommended for family or couples, it’s a lot of walking so be careful if you have bad knees. They offer a ”train” that will take you around the park as they are about to feed the animals
Stamppe — Google review
Too expensive considering the number of animals and activities in the zoo, otherwise an ok ZOO On mountain top.
Haseeb B — Google review
A wonderful zoo experience with family and kids. The park has plenty of animal and fun activities to keep everyone entertained for an entire day. There are bathrooms , small places to grab something to eat all over the place. If you visit for the first time, take the guided tour, you will experiance the entire park. Sweden is expensive and yet the prices here are decent. I will definitely come back here with my family.
Albert A — Google review
A great experience! About an hour walk around the entire place if you stop briefly to see all the animals but you'll stay longer 😁 bears are especially awesome! Make sure to say hi to big boy Gimli 😎😊

Not to crowded. Nice place to bring the family and kids! Prices are very ok!
Bjorn S — Google review
Fun swimming pool featuring three different slides. One with tubes, two without. Minimal age 6 years old. For the smaller ones there are two dedicated slides in the kids pool. Clean changing rooms. The temperature of the water was fine. Few things that could use maintenance and are broken. There's a family discount when swimming with kids. 150 SEK for 1 parent with 1 kid. Sauna in the shower room hardly gets hot enough to be a sauna. Free parking with 2 EV charger spots.
Koen Z — Google review
I have been there with my son 6 years old and the magik aye is ok and the blue tobogan but the red is not ok . Not for me not for children. Small place the water woz cold
Marian C — Google review
The water is nice. There is plenty of space in the jacuzi and the temperature is good. Very crowded with little children in the jacuzi. There is plenty of slides and area to have fun. The showers and lockerrooms are very dirty. Please do something about that. The food is normal and you do not have to wait long on it.
Cleavon S — Google review
Very nice waterpark located relatively close to the camping site, had a lot of fun there!
Iver O — Google review
1. The pool is always cold! 2. When you get in the jacuzzi, it is full of children, playing, spitting, fighting. That is not a jacuzzi, it is just small pool for children, I thought it was for adults who want to relax while their kids bathe in the pool, but it is nothing like that, you can't even be in the jacuzzi. 3. The food is a disaster, and the service, I understand that it is a Swedish culture that you have to pick up the plate and glass, etc (I never understood that in this country), are you paying for a restaurant and on top of that you have to get up to clean up? In this restaurant they even ask you to throw the leftovers of the food in a different trash can, etc. and the tables are dirty, you have to clean them yourself to be able to sit down to eat, a disaster, you pay for the food and you have to clean up yourself before and after. 4. Last summer a giant rat got into a hole in the floor outside next to the pools. Incredible. Please fix this.
Sara P — Google review
Fantastic aufguss but the place is starting to deteriorate. Stole our pre-paid visits. Dissatisfied

Jamtli

Local history museum
Museums
Jamtli is a captivating museum that offers a journey through local culture, spanning from the Viking era to native crafts and historic ways of life. Located just 1km north of the center, it comprises two parts: an open-air museum with meticulously reconstructed wooden buildings and enthusiastic guides in 19th-century period costumes, and an indoor museum housing the oldest European Overhogdal Tapestries and Christian Viking relics from AD 1100.
I went here in September and was pleasantly surprised by this museum. It was very large and had a lot of interactive exhibits for children and adults alike. I stayed for several hours and it was very cool to get to learn so much about this beautiful area.
Rebecca H — Google review
Lovely authentic musuem both in summer and winter! They also organize markets once in a while, and especially their Christmas market is great. Great place to learn more about the history of Sweden and Jämtland
Dennis M — Google review
Jamtli is a wonderful open-air museum that beautifully brings history and culture to life. The exhibits are interactive and engaging, showcasing traditional Swedish life through buildings, artifacts, and live demonstrations. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, making the experience educational and fun for all ages. It’s perfect for families, history lovers, and curious travelers. Jamtli offers a delightful blend of learning, storytelling, and authentic Scandinavian charm.

Konstantin G — Google review
A must see for travelers. For a descendant of this region it was a joy to see the culture and history of my ancestors. The museum is very well thought out and executed, and contains much more than I had expected. Like almost everywhere, the staff spoke English and were very pleasant and accommodating. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
Barry E — Google review
For kids who speak Swedish a fun museum I imagine. The downstairs area is interesting but completely in Swedish, an app they have available has translations but only partly. Not all features available in Swedish are available in English or German. The national museum partly has English information alongside Swedish. If you enjoy looking at your phone just as much as looking at the exhibits this might be for you.

Vemdalsskalet

Ski resort
Outdoor Activities
A network of slopes & lifts on 2 different mountains, with winter sports & a children's area.
Lots of lifts and a decent selection of slopes for skiers of all skill levels. Trail maintenance is done every morning. Ski rental is fast and professional. The cafes on the mountain tops are great and have wonderful views! At the beginning of some lifts there are houses to warm yourself and campfire sites to cook. Ski lifts usually operate from 9am to 4.30pm. A very nice place for a ski holiday!
Eva G — Google review
Great Swedish ski resort and not to touristic. You can even see reindeers if you're lucky, can't wait for the planned expansions to make this even better. It's not Åre but the slopes are really nice!
Dennis M — Google review
A good week with limited amount of guests so fast queuing in the lifts. Some technical problems on the West but sunshine compensates. Supersmooth automation of ski passes and very good admin if queues.
Henrik E — Google review
Vemdalskalet – Great skiing in beautiful nature, but the architecture… Vemdalskalet offers a fantastic ski area with well-maintained slopes and stunning natural surroundings. The skiing experience is top-notch, and it’s easy to enjoy your time out on the mountain. However, the architecture in the area is surprisingly poor. Many of the buildings seem oddly designed, with questionable material choices, poorly painted facades, and uninviting entrances. It often feels like a case of “good intentions, bad execution.” The overall impression is unfortunately dragged down by what might be some of the most mismatched and aesthetically challenged buildings in Sweden — a real contrast to the beauty of the surrounding nature.
Pal L — Google review
Great place for beginners and intermediate skier's. 4 stars is based on Swedish ski resorts. If based on world wide it gets 2 stars.

Orsa Grönklitt Björnpark is Europe's largest predator park located 16km north of Orsa, housing a variety of animals including polar bears, Kodiak bears, leopards, Amur tigers, lynx, wolves, red foxes and wolverines. The star attraction at the park are the fat-bottomed roly-poly bear cubs.
Very beautifully situated park with wild animals The park includes many large enclosures where the animals can feel at home. Nevertheless, you can experience boars, bears and others up close. The staff is friendly and we were able to learn interesting facts about the animals and their behaviour through their feedings. It was also noticeable that the animal keepers care deeply about their work with their animals. Highly recommended and very unique.
Jochen S — Google review
A rather unique park that focuses on Sweden's predators. Because of Corona the feeding moments were cancelled. A lot of information isn't translated in English, so as a tourist you loose a lot of information.
Jan A — Google review
It was great experience to spend Christmas Day visiting this zoo,not so many crowds, but the animals are really active. Staff literally send gift boxes to the polar bear family,we saw the bears open their gift boxes and enjoy the snacks inside, full of joy. Tigers making love in snow😅,leopards doing patrol, wolves having family meeting… very wild, very fun!We almost view everyone except lynx, they are too shy.
Ding Y — Google review
Really great and wonderful park. Very well suited for families. The animals are quite easy to see. The surroundings and views are magnificent. There is a nice small exhibition in the entrance and playground places all around. No doubt 5/5.
Tica R — Google review
Wonderful wild animals park! Great feeling seeing these amazing animals so close to you :) There are many activities with animals e.g. we saw how they were feeding wolves. We also had lunch in the restaurant on top of a mountain with great view over the valley and Orsa lake. We spent the whole day in the park and want to come back again!
Julia Z — Google review
Fantastic wildlife park. We were here on the 31th of August (19 degrees) and it was not crowded at all, and all the animals were active and playing, either with food or playfighting with each other. We saw every animal species and even though the park is only 2 km of walking (hilly) we were there from 10.30-15.00h and were absolutely not bored at all (open from 10-15h). During feeding time, the zookeepers would answer all our questions and give very nice explanations about all the animals (very friendly people with a heart for animals). Yes the animal residences are very large so it might take you a while to find them, but think about the animals and be happy for them that they have enough space while you can still observe them from very beautiful viewing points. In conclusion: amazing park, beautiful animals held in good conditions, and a very nice way to spend your day.
Chayenne J — Google review
If you're not into Zoo don't go. If you are, this would be one of the better zoo's you'll ever visit. Feeding moments were cancelled due to Corona, but we the animals have to be fed regardless and we were lucky enough to be there for one of those moments.
NOWISIMON — Google review
Really enjoyed the visit to the bear park. Even though it was drizzling most of the day, we have spotted almost all the animals there. There were brown bears, polar bears, wolves, owls, squirrel, tigers, Persian leapord, snow leapord and wolverine. We especially enjoyed the polar bears and the tigers. They were magnificent.

The Zorn Museum is a vast complex that showcases the watercolors and paintings of Anders Zorn, along with his residence and garden. Visitors are often surprised by how captivating Zorn's work is, particularly in its portrayal of light and color, which resonates with the unique hues and luminosity of Swedish summers.
Quite a lovely museum, a nice collection of different types of painting from Anders Zorn and other artists around. The garden is spacious and calming but lacking blooms when I was there. The cafe not to be missed.
Kien P — Google review
Thanks Anna at the Museum, it was son nice to be with Ms Monika from Germany the guide into Zorn Family House. I spent four hours between the Museum and the Garden, the house, and the museum again. I took a photo report with frame-by-frame reviews. Mr. Zorn, whose surname is ANDERS, is the same as my German daughter-in-law's. My grandchildren have this beautiful last name. It make the all visit very special for me. Never I have thing a water colour painter as Anders Zorn. He was a real genius painting basically with 4 colours.

Beautiful art, well-presented. Tour of Zorn's house was also interesting. Food and Fika in the cafe were great and the store had several excellent fridge magnets of the paintings.

Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Fairy tale-themed park with costumed characters & reindeer, plus musical & theatrical performances.
A great experience! There is a schedule with different story lines to catch, and stages built around the compound. We walked through the compound, consisting of lush forest and nature, to watch theatre performances in unique stage platforms. Extra special with the characters and performers interacting with kids throughout the day. Note: performances in Swedish:)
Kien P — Google review
Very interesting place, not quite what I was expecting. The main attractions were non-stop theatrical performances of a fairytale variety. There was not much else to do, like playgrounds or rides. The park is a bit hard to navigate if you have not been there previously. The tickets were pricey for what was on offer. The staff was very nice and interacted great with kids. However, the day we were there, hundreds of tiny frogs were hoping in a highly trafficked area, on their way somewhere. The park did nothing to alert visitors to their presence or divert traffic. I watched multiple park employees drive golf carts over the frogs. It was very heartbreaking to see. The park also has very limited shopping. Everything sold is mass-produced cheap imports, which have been marked up. There was nothing special from the park or local area. I would have actually spent money in the gift shop if there had been anything worth buying, like a t-shirt or a nice Christmas ornament. The dressup items for kids were very cute, though.
Katie — Google review
Nice themepark for small kids. Very good actors and singers. The shows are very nice even if they are in Swedish. The park is not that big though and there are no activities like rollercoasters or other. If you have smaller children, they will love it.
Caroline ( — Google review
Have been there 2 times, 2021, 2022 for New year event. Super nice, all good attractive decorations and Christmas feeling. Friendly staff speaking in English and Swedish. One think do not forget its super cold there. Take additional layer of clothes. Should i go there next time? Sure Yes!
Shahriyar S — Google review
Very nice to be with children. Performances in the middle of the forest with fairy tales that are connected despite different sketches. This place is open all year. Just remember to dress yourself after the Swedish winter climate if you come that time of the year!!
Andreas F — Google review
Nice landscape, good actors, amazing singers and committed stuff, but just as boring as it could be for the parents who don't have children under 10 years old. Expensive coffee. To complete full series if all events you'll need two days.
Blesser — Google review
A "must" place if your kids are 3 - 10 years old and you are on the way to the Swedish mountains or just sightseeing Dalarna. Park is divided into few thematical parts, where both boys and girls should find something interesting. I look forward to coming there during the winter time. I've been to Kolmården, Astrid Lindgrens Värld and High Chaparral as well. Tomtelandet is smaller than each of them but definitely worth reserving one day during your vacation. I recommend.
Bartłomiej C — Google review
Overall Great place for kids to view some shows and interact with the actors before and after the shows. Shows Pretty short, approx 15 minute. You have to know Swedish to understand the story. Sometimes a bit repetitive when all of them contain some reference to the "Tomte kraft". The acting and singing is good, and the kids found the story intriguing. If your kids are easily scared some of the plays are a bit too much. In a few theaters there are now benches. Often it is possible for the kids to talk and interact with the actors after the play. Food Brought food since I've read that it was expensive. Took a photo of the fika menu and uploaded it here. Environment Everything is placed in the forest with is left as untouched as they possibly could while still building a theme park. Parking There is a big parking lot close to the entrance. Shouldn't be a problem to find a spot and it's free. Other For us one day was enough to see most of the park

Idrefjäll is a popular mountain resort in Sweden that offers a variety of activities throughout the year. In winter, it's known for skiing and snowboarding, while summer brings opportunities for golfing, walking, and cycling. The resort is praised for its family-friendly atmosphere and diverse slopes catering to different skill levels. Visitors appreciate the breathtaking views from the mountaintop and the abundance of activities available, including options for shopping and dining.
Less commercial, good skiing and no long lift lines. Nice layout of entire resort with many smaller parking areas rather than few huge. Easy access to slopes and overall a very nice place.

Very beautiful area, lots to do. A lot of construction going on om the site. They should spend some time updating the cabins. They were really outdated and falling apart. This is really not acceptable. Because of the location still 3 stars. Paying €8 per day to access the swimming pool is also a real no no.
Jeroen T — Google review
Rafting: Although the staff were delightful and well prepared, the experience was rather disappointing. We weren't warned that we would have to drive for an hour to get to the spot when we booked. We had chosen the medium difficulty route, which turned out to be for beginners. On the whole route, there were maybe four/five very short sections with rapids, the rest was just paddling. Finally, the duration, intensity and length of the route were not worth the hour's drive mentioned above or the price charged. Not recommended.

Great ski resort for kids, has become more dirty since previous years, garbage laying around etc
Markus T — Google review
A very family friendly ski resort. There are a good versions in slopes, from almost flat to support steep. It's big enough to accommodate for lots of guests. The downside are the quite old cabins, the restaurants are expensive, the food in the restaurants are not very fresh.

I falled in the love with get involved with the mountain forest. Amazing views and experiences everywhere. So many cool options and activities to enjoy. Nice supermarket, winter clothes shop and different restaurants. Accommodation for all tastes and needs.

Good place for skiing with long slopes. Downside is that it was quite windy and snowing and chair lifts dont have cover so it was quite cold when reaching the top.

Visited this resort with 200 students for a week... Fun experience. Cross Country skiing not as good as f.ex. Gaustablikk, but it was okay.

Fulufjället National Park, located in the northwest of Dalarna county, is a newly designated park known for its vast lichen-covered landscapes and as the home of Old Tjikko, one of the world's oldest trees. The park features a stunning waterfall as its main attraction and offers well-maintained hiking trails with various color-coded paths to explore.
One of the best places I visited in my first Swedish summer of 2021. This is a great national park for a hike, walk or camping. Plan well and you'll have an amazing time.
Chirag S — Google review
Big, beautiful nature reserve — totally worth the 2.5-hour drive. This was our third time here, and it’s always fun to see the waterfall in different seasons.
DAK — Google review
Fulufjället National Park is one of the most peaceful and unspoiled natural areas I’ve ever visited. The landscape is striking — from dense, ancient spruce forests to the flat, wind-swept plateau that stretches for miles. It feels like stepping into a different time. The highlight for many is the hike to Njupeskär waterfall, the tallest in Sweden at 93 meters. The trail is very accessible, with wooden boardwalks and gentle terrain, making it great for both families and casual hikers. As you approach the falls, the roaring sound and rising mist through the cliffs are absolutely breathtaking. If you have more time and stamina, hiking beyond the waterfall up onto the Fulufjället plateau is a must. The terrain becomes more rugged and wild, with sweeping views and a unique alpine tundra environment. Up there, it’s incredibly quiet — you might walk for hours without seeing another person. It really gives you a feeling of solitude and freedom. The park is also home to Old Tjikko, a clonal spruce over 9,500 years old — believed to be the oldest living tree in the world. It’s a humbling reminder of how ancient this place truly is. Trails are well marked, and there are plenty of signs and resting areas. I’d also recommend stopping by Naturum Fulufjället, the visitor center, for maps, information, and a deeper understanding of the park’s geology and wildlife. If you’re looking for dramatic scenery, fresh air, and a genuine connection with nature — Fulufjället is perfect. Bring layers, good boots, and your sense of wonder
Subhadeep B — Google review
A beautiful natural environment. Very easily accessible with wooden routes. Climbing the mountain needs good shoes and stamina though. The waterfall is spectacular!
R S — Google review
Beautifully maintained national park. Quite busy at the start towards the waterfall. If you hike the big loop up to the waterfall, you have great challenging routes with exits over rocks.
Vanessa S — Google review
10-12 minutes walk and you reach there… I went as close as 5 meters far from the waterfall. Best thing is either way you will get a round trip.
Salim — Google review
It is a wonderful place to bring someone you wish to enjoy a splendid scenery and wild bature with. The only thing that i feel saddens my heart is that as more people find their way here, the more crowded and littered with garbage it becomes. Foreign and sometimes domestic wanderers that do their needs to close or even on trails is just bad. I think that when natures treasures like this park becomes to accessable then it attracts more human presence than what is manageable. Cheers!
Dan L — Google review
We visited in the month of August. The temperature is ideal for a hike. It’s an easy & peaceful hike for around 2:30hrs to & fro. You can park your car free of charge. There is a restroom at the entrance of the national park. To reach Njupeskär Waterfall follow the orange path. It’s best to visit during summer as the hiking trail is dry and you get to witness the nature at it’s best.

Nice place in the middle of nature. Waterfall not so big but lovely. Several tracks in the woods and along the river with information marks. Parking good for several cars. Tables and benches for lunch or fika stop. Waterfall in visible from parking spot, so not far walking at all.

This is where I asked my girlfriend to marry me. The location is beautiful and it's a must see, if you are near it! Hope you guys like it as much as we did.

There is something here for everyone, whether you just want to enjoy a nice hike, or want to see waterfalls, or even learn a lot about the landscape and how it was formed during the last glacial period. Several hikes are possible, 1km, 2 km, and 7 km. We walked the 2&5 km hikes. Very different but both incredibly beautiful and varying, from gravel roads, to nice walking trails, to walking on loggs along streams and over bridges, through valleys and over hills.
Chayenne J — Google review
Such a beautiful place will always remember Brattfallet. Really recommend going there, a super cool experience and definitely not something you will forget. You can walk several hiking trails, one that is very difficult, one that is in between and one that should not be difficult at all, I chose the one that was in between, although it would be relatively easy that hiking trail was still very demanding and you had to walk on rocks, but that was still fun. Lots of blueberries, so if you plan to pick berries, I would really choose Brattfallet's forests/nature reserve. When I was there and looked at the waterfall, there were high cliffs probably 10-25 meters high, there was no protection at all, no fence or anything, So you really have to be careful and watch where you walk because the risk of falling is high. Overall it was a very beautiful place and loved every second I was there, really recommend.
Karolina — Google review
Beautiful waterfall with many opportunities for hiking nearby. The parking lot is often crowded, but there are two more free sites where you can park in the immediate vicinity - just check Google Maps with satellite image. There is also a picnic area right next to the waterfall with several benches, tables and a fire pit.

SkiStar, Norge

Ski resort
Outdoor Activities
SkiStar in Norge offers a range of services including ski lessons, tours, equipment rentals, and lodging options in a picturesque mountain area. The resort features the beloved snowman Valle as the main character in its children's concept, providing various fun activities for kids throughout the winter. While it may be smaller compared to other European resorts, SkiStar has its own unique charm and merits.
This was a great place for beginners. We had never skied before but thankfully there was lots of advice on hand and we could rent skis too. Sadly there were no places left for the ski school (book in advance if you can!) but our teens turned out to be naturals and had a blast on their own in the family area. The ski passes were very expensive since it was the start of the season and only two areas were open and we were given poor advice to start with. They have a centre which offers ‘tourist information’ and ‘guide’ services and as we had never skied before we were dependent on that advice. The guide knew we had never skied before but told us we would be fine on all the slopes that were open. At a cost of €350 who followed his advice. This was quite dangerous advice and thankfully they had a ski patrol who could rescue our stranded teens from the slope that wasn’t suitable for them at all🤦🏼‍♂️ Customer services were quite dismissive at first saying it was our choice but in the end did refund us some of the money recognising that for people who had never skied before only one area was really suitable and only a pass for that area was needed. So we give them credit for this and the excellent way they do maintain the area and offer support.
Mark W — Google review
We’ve had positive experiences with SkiStar Trysil. I hadn’t skied in over 12 years after tearing my ACL and meniscus, and the fear had stayed with me ever since. Booking a ski instructor was the best decision I could have made. The instructors were incredibly kind, patient, and highly skilled, making me feel safe and confident on the slopes again. My niece and nephew attended ski school, which turned skiing into a great experience for them as well – something we’re truly grateful for.

All your vacation activities whether summer or winter or fall or spring are just conveniently at your reach. This is a must visit place when in the Skandinavia. Good proximity as people just drive from across Europe especially Sweden, Danmark etc for holiday camping. Remember to buy your day pass tickets online to get it cheaper. There are good accommodation options from camping homes to first class resorts. Shopping centre is available right at the place in addition regular glossary shops like Rema 100, Kiwi are just 1.4km away in Trysil downtown or city center. One suggestion is to compliment the facilities with more modern ones with good finish even if it is to blend into and protect the natural environment.
ExinMEDIA B — Google review
Its only entrance and parking place if you dont live in Skistar village. Parking was always full. Lifts are too crowded. There is some bars and 2 ski shops.
SILVIO J — Google review
Great ski resort with reasonably large amount of lifts and slopes. One of the largest in Norway. Good kid friendly /lifts/slopes at the bottom. Additionally some nice cafeterias to have lunch in between runs. Also located at a place where there's usually good snow conditions.

Fantastic ski resort overall. In some areas there are only T-bars instead of chairlifts, which I'm not very fond of
Hector G — Google review
Absolutely amazing. High mountains, great slopes. And we had absolutely stunning sun. Almost no people around due to Covid. No problem to keep you distance. Felt totally safe
Lukas K — Google review
Skistar lodge offered comfort at all levels, beautifully presented, wonderful food and a fabulous outlook. A short scenic ride from the Scandinavian Mountains Airport allowed us to relax from touch down to the first lift. Excellent ski in ski out locker room facilities, wonderfully stocked ski hire shop with helpful staff. Although an uplift charge, the spa offered the perfect post piste relaxation station. The hotel staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. 10/10, we will be back.

Great day out on the canoe! We arrived earlier than expected and still got sorted quickly and nicely by the kind staff and made for a fantastic day out. We used the canoes from stöllet and went up the river until a nice spot for lunch. Great experience, highly recommend it, thank you! 😊

Overall good experience. I would go again. Its not very relaxing much of the time though-between rain, mosquitos, and fighting eddies the days can sometimes be a bit much. Glad I did not bring a book, you must pay attention every second. I think its the perfect trip to take with a significant other to see if your relationship will last long term ;) Absolutely beautiful on the river, at night, and other non-mosquito/rain times. We booked food provisions and it was plenty of food. Nice to see what they thought we would want. I would bring backpacking meals next time instead of booking food (or maybe book 1 person worth of meals and the rest backpacking food/pasta and other easy meals). Food amount may have been perfect for other groups-but maybe a better way to estimate how much we need on the website would have been good. We also were not aware of the location change for the ending of the trip until we arrived-everything worked out and we got help to make sure we got on the right bus. So it all worked out! Maybe an email the week prior to reemphasize certain details and ending point would be beneficial.

We booked a 7 day 100km timberraft tour. In comparison to last time the log piles at the building site were a little small, so sometimes it was hard to find the right size logs! Lownwater level on the river this time, but nevertheless so much fun and relaxation, floating, paddling and camping wherever you want.

In 2018 we booked a 8 day timber raft adventure. We had a great time. Vildmark i Värmland guided us well and taught us how to build a raft. Communication before the event was good and clear. We will be back in a couple of years.

We just came back from a four-day canoe trip on the Svartälven. The organization and communication with ViV was excellent. They also responded extremely quickly to spontaneous requests and had a solution for all problems. The area around Lesjöfors was wild, but more civilized than expected due to a main road following the river. However, we would definitely recommend the tour and the company to all adventurers.

I have been happy with the mall itself, but the security guards there are terrible!! I was dropping off my wife, and immediately he parks his cars infront of me and writing down my license plate number. Last time at the NORD location, he came up behind me and honked his horn, just so he could park there himself.. I guess it's okay for the security guards to park and leave their car where ever and leave it there.. But for youre customers, no way... I feel that should be take care of, how can they act like that? So next time I will be driving around instead of stopping at the sideline.

Great place to visit. Located in the forest with nature paths and natural cover in the trees. Facilities are excellent and staff super friendly and helpful.

Small and cozy place. The kids love that you are allowed to buy food and feed some of the animals

Small zoo. You can feed the animals! Well worth a visit. Bring your own food, thet have barbecues standing around. Or buy waffles and ice cream.
Monica E — Google review
Very nice zoo, the animals have ample space and were very curious. Love that it's possible to feed some of them and the petting area was super nice. A great experience for kids, and the size is just perfect for a day trip.
Helge S — Google review
Nice little zoo. It was great to see the animals in an open exhibit instead of a concrete enclosure. The staff was very nice. The animals come right up to the fence for great photos!!!
Jake S — Google review
In may we have been surprised with partially closed setup (no monkeys, surikatas, closed road to other animals, etc.), no feeding and no contact with any animals. The same entrance price... It would be nice to know that ahead as otherwise it's a nice little zoo 🙂
Tomáš K — Google review
Very nice zoo, located in a forest with a farm aesthetic. Makes it feel a bit less like you're at a animal prison. The zoo ends with a large playground and a BBQ area with a kiosk. Would recommend to bring some antibacterial wipes if you plan to eat there as the aren't many options to clean yourself after interacting with animals. Bring the kids.

I experienced a rebirth there, felt after going out that the world was most certainly less miserable. My body has never been treated this good while I was treated so nicely by the waiter. For around 25€, you have access to the spa, sauna hammam, hot seats, cold/hot rain showers, relaxation waterfall room, massaging bath, outside bubble bath, 7° cold bath, free coffee and tea, smiling and lovely crew... Don't be afraid by the first corridor to get to the changing rooms, it's just the purgatory before heaven! Bring your swimsuit and your towel and you're good to live a really nice moment!

Hello. Please introduce a rule for pool visitors to wear swimming caps! It's very disgusting when women's hair floats in the pool! This same hair then clogs the filter in the pool, keep this in mind! And please heat the water in the large pool, such cold water makes it unbearable to swim!!! In a small pool the water is warm, but a huge number of people and children gather in a small pool because of this it becomes very crowded and the water quickly becomes dirty and cloudy! Please fix all this so that me and my family can feel comfortable and pleasant coming and relaxing in this place! We pay money and not small sums for entry, so we want comfort and clean, warm water in a large pool, and without women’s hair.

We have been on a two week football tour around Norway with 17 young lads. Everywhere we have been everyone has been so accommodating except this Ankerskogen. They refused to let us in despite prior agreement for our contact to pay. We even offered to pay over the phone but the girl working there was having none of it. We intended to purchase treatments and lunch there - they have lost out on business. Sort out your customer service e

It is expensive for doing nothing. You can do it for free at home, believe me! Everywehre is closed. No matter if you maintain or something. I pay and I got nothing! Very good trade. I'll give you nothing, you give me money. I liked it.

The price of the equivalent of €30 for a community pool/spa is absolutely outrageous. I boycotted on principle alone. This is Norway at its absolute worst.

Museums
Domkirkeodden is a captivating destination that beautifully intertwines medieval history with modern experiences. This outdoor museum showcases an impressive collection of historical buildings from Hedmark villages, alongside the stunning ruins of an ancient cathedral and bishop's castle, all sheltered under a striking glass structure. The atmosphere here is truly enchanting; I had the pleasure of attending a midnight concert that felt almost magical amidst the historic backdrop. Visitors can explore these remarkable ruins while enjoying various family-friendly activities in the surrounding park-like setting.
Today my father and I visited the Domkirkeodden. What a sight to see! To enter you have to buy a ticket for about 140 NOK. (€11,70) They have a great staff and you can see some of them walking in historical clothing which gives a nice touch in my opinion! Everything is behind glass for better preservation. Some items are even monitored with temperature and humidity meters. Also, they have information flyers in multiple languages. They have Norwegian, English, German and even Dutch which was perfect for my father. (We are from the Netherlands) I feel honored to have walked through the ruins of what was once a beautiful church! Thank you, people and staff for preserving and showing this amazing piece of history!
Michel T — Google review
Although Domkirkeodden was closed for renovation during my visit, I still enjoyed experiencing it from the outside. The ruins, set against the serene landscape, carry a deep historical weight. I was particularly moved by their connection to the Reformation—this place serves as a powerful reminder of the cost of change and the sacrifices made for the values we cherish today. The way the ruins are protected with structured glass is especially symbolic—it shows a commitment to preserving history, ensuring that we do not forget the past. A meaningful site that invites reflection. Hope to visit again when it reopens!
Jeffrey S — Google review
It was an interesting place and our guide did an excellent job explaining the history on the site to us. The glass enclosure was a very resourceful idea and the acoustics inside were perfect.
Quercus R — Google review
Was nice, we could see the historic walls of the fort. Previously you were supposed to be able to go in the protective enclosure of the cathedral but birds broke the glass so we couldn't. You could still view it from the outside. There also is a small historic artifact museum in the museum. The area is a medieval fort and market that was blown up by the Swedes. (Darn YOU SWEDEN!) Definitely worth seeing and I hope they continue to improve the site as part of it is currently under construction. This was my 10 year old son's favorite site in Norway.
W H — Google review
Its all very interesting but i dont like that you have to pay to get inside to see it (so we didn't). But it also looks quite cool from the outside. Theres also alot of field, old houses and a mini 'beach' around it. Lovely views. Theres parking outside where you normally have to pay but it wasnt working when we went. There was also a mini truck with ice cream and waffles. I didnt see any toilets.
Kristy F — Google review
Beautifully preserved remains of the church. Great acoustics
Inga M — Google review
Really cool and interesting place! Seeing the old ruins and connecting the history of the place is fascinating. The modern additions to the building bridge the modern with the ancient in a way that even though you know it's modern it doesn't detract from the history. My family very much enjoyed our visit here, and the walk to the railroad museum.

Lysgårdsbakkene Hoppanlegg is a ski jumping center in Lillehammer, known for hosting top-tier athletic events throughout the year. Situated around 1.5km at the top of Lilyhammer, it offers a magnificent view of the lake below and holds historical significance as the site where the flame burned bright during the 1994 Winter Olympics.
Great little historical side stop on the way to wherever you are headed! We walked the 800+ steps to the top. The view was phenomenal! It was our first time seeing a ski jump in person so it was really interesting.
Jarrod S — Google review
There are two ski jumping slopes. They were used in the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Now they are in regular use, mostly in winter competitions and practice. In summer they have ski lifts that take you up for the views, and the views from the top are amazing. There's a small shop which has gifts and snacks. It's very close to the town of Lillehammer.
Dipak O — Google review
🥇 Lillehammer hosted the first “eco-friendly” Olympic Games in history During the 1994 Winter Olympics, Lillehammer became the first host city to focus heavily on environmental protection: • all venues were built to minimize damage to nature; • the Olympic Village used eco-friendly materials; • the city planted tens of thousands of trees to compensate for its environmental impact. That’s why the 1994 Games are often called “the most environmentally friendly Olympics ever.” 🌲🏔️
Marianna R — Google review
30 minutes on foot from the city center. Two ski jumps with 936 steps leading to the top. It’s worth going because the view of the Lillehammer area is stunning.
Mihaela M — Google review
Definitely a place worth visiting in Lillehammer. Full of sports nostalgia and stunning views. From the town center there’s a long uphill walk to the spectator area, and from there about 900 steps to the top of the ski jump. In August 2025 the chairlifts were not operating. Descending the stairs is not recommended if you’re afraid of heights.
Taneli D — Google review
We didn’t know what to expect from visiting this site & was even going to skip it. Glad we didn’t, it was fascinating to see how steep & far the jumps went & it’s one hell of a climb to the top, but the views are worth it.
Nick S — Google review
This is the Ski Jumping Arena of the 1994 Winter Olympics. We stopped here for a quick visit and enjoyed the view even without climbing to the top of the run. The lifts weren’t operating and we didn’t have enough time to climb up to the top of the run.

A very interesting museum in a lovely location. Our guided tour was excellent but we felt a little rushed; we would have liked just a little more time in the house. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. There are free lockers for your bags and a nice cafe. Try the Suksessterte (success cake)!

Today, we had the pleasure of visiting Museum Eidsvoll 1814, and we are really grateful for our guide. His enthusiastic and engaging tour made our experience truly remarkable. He answered all our questions with patience and depth, making the history accessible and fascinating. His passion was so infectious that even our 6-month-old baby seemed captivated! Thank you once again for this wonderful experience. We highly recommend this museum to anyone interested in history, and we wish the museum continued success in sharing Norway's heritages.

Eidsvoll Manor, located at 30 minutes by car from Oslo, is the place where the Constitution of Norway was signed in 1814. The building was first constructed ca. 1770. As it stands today, the manor is the result of an extensive renovation and modernization in the years around 1800 by Carsten Anker. In 1814, the Constitution of Norway was signed at Eidsvoll on May 17. The Manor can be visited nowadays and within the location you can serve a frugal lunch consisting of sandwiches, muffins and waffles. Also, there is a souvenir shop in the cafeteria where you can buy various objects from umbrellas to quill pen, similar with the one that the Constitution was signed.

The monumental place for modern day Norway. Buildings and surrounding are very well preserved. Quiet place with a small park to walk and relax, which is kinda unique in this part of Norway. Shame that Norway is funding schools and other cultural buildings and events around the globe but can't find a way to make fee-free entrance to such a monumental museum in own courtyard.
Vlada I — Google review
Eidsvoll 1814 has been on my wishlist of places to go for about four years. That is when I learned that my 3x great grandfather was one of 112 Eidsvollmenn who drafted and signed the Norwegian Constitution. After booking a 12-day tour to "Majestic Norway" a couple months prior, I then arranged for a tour of Eidsvoll 1814 to learn more about my paternal ancestor and the place he traveled to over 200 years earlier to change the course of Norwegian hisory. The very afternoon that I landed and deplaned in Oslo, I boarded a train to Eidsvoll Verk then a public bus to Eidsvoll 1814. When I arrived on the site of the ironworks, tour guide Mikaela was just finishing up with a group so I sat in the contemporary Kafe Standpunkt, which overlooks a waterway, to rest and enjoy a beverage. Upon entering Eidsvoll Manor (built circa 1770), Mikaela and I put booties on over our footwear to protect the floors of the historic building. From there, Mikaela guided me room to room and floor to floor while talking about the history of Eidsvoll and the purpose of each room. She also told me a few stories about my 3x gg who was a farmer and served as sheriff of Valle in Setesdal for 50 years. The furnishings and overall decor in the main part of the house are sumptuous. The servants' quarters are plain but, except for the noise from the old Ironworks, it was a large, comfortable home for those who worked and lived there. Visiting Eidsvoll 1814 was a highlight of my first visit to Norway. Thank you to all the staff who helped make my dream come true.

Maihaugen is a renowned open-air museum in Lillehammer, Norway, showcasing traditional Norwegian buildings that depict rural, urban, and home life from the 1400s to the present day. With over 200 buildings divided into the Rural Section, Historic Town, and Residential Area, visitors can immerse themselves in Norway's cultural heritage. Families with children will find it especially enjoyable. The museum offers a captivating journey through time and provides insight into Norwegian history and architecture.
I had a great time visiting Maihaugen—it's a fantastic place to spend quality time with family. This was my second visit in three years. The museum takes you on a journey through Norway’s cultural and architectural history, from old villages to modern towns. The actors at various locations were friendly and informative—we had a fun time chatting with them. Kids will enjoy the pools, ducks, and other animals around the area. It's a good idea to bring some snacks so you can sit and relax in one of the many scenic spots. They do have a cafeteria in there as well. The Olympic Museum and Postal Museum are also located within the same enclosure and are definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic afternoon of walking and discovering the area! You could spend hours here, so wear walking shoes! Even have a picnic or grab a meal in the cafe. The indoor exhibitions are just as great as the outside exhibitions. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Heather B — Google review
Beautiful village but also a bunch of other random indoor museums inside. Its not as interactive as it could be, but still great to see. I didn't have kids with me but there seemed to be a few indoor play areas with toys and outdoor. Uneven walking around the edges on paths but big wide paths as well!
Laura M — Google review
Possibly one of the best Museums I've ever been to. It's a large complex of multiple museums and open air exhibits spread over a vast area. It took me 5 hours just to rush through most of the stuff while skipping much.
Roy F — Google review
Sprawling museum with a variety of exhibits, both indoor and outdoor. Reasonable admission price based on how much there is to see. Well maintained facility and grounds, helpful map provided on how to navigate.
Sarah H — Google review
Here’s the translation: ⸻ The museum itself is great! Interesting outdoor exhibits, but the opening hours policy is poor – from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. We didn’t manage to thoroughly see all three museums. In the end, we rushed through the Olympic one and didn’t have time to calmly buy souvenirs. Also, many outdoor objects were closed. All in all, good, but it could have been better. It gets crowded from 11 onwards because organized groups arrive as well.
Mihaela M — Google review
Our group of 9 attended a wonderful guided tour of a historial Norwegian farm, which is smaller than a town but larger than a one family living area. The typical home includes a centrla fire area in a wooden structure. The schoolhousr is several school benches with long writing desks for students of all ages where they learned religion and reading. The central church is closed today. The excellent guide even gave us a school lesson on the small blackboards. As we headed to the interior museum, we passed by a gift shop with scarves, Norway souvenirs, journals with Norway decor, and of course, Trolls, trolls, and more Trolls. JaBaDaBaDo toys are 5% off. The inside museum shows the history of the resilent Norwegian throughout history. A special exhibit open until November highlights dance in Norway, including folk dances, swing dance, ballroom, tango, rap, hip hop with a don’t-be-shy interactive opportunity. The attention to historic events and their role in Norway’s path to a stronger nation. The years of German occupation, changing relations with other Scandinavian nations, and immirgation are summed up in displays and videos. All videos and signs are in Norwegian and many in English. Signs are legible and readble. The section that pays tribute to UNESCO sites is impressive with intention to preserve the world’s environment. Excellent museum that gives a memorable summary of Norway and Norwegians.
Toni T — Google review
This is an amazing museum with well preserved buildings sharing the history of life in Norway. We only had time for The Rural Area and wished we were able to see the Town and Residential areas as well. But, it was incredible and beautiful. We even got to see inside the old buildings and how they were furnished. The grounds are beautiful. We learned how the museum was thought of and built as well as how people lived a very long time ago! The museum is over 100 years old!! This is a must-see while in Lillehammer and make sure you allow plenty of time to see the whole thing, including the Olympic Museum (included in your admission).

I thought Flytoget was the perfect way to travel from Olso Airport and in to the centre. Simple, quick and into Oslo central in under 20 minutes. Hassle free travel every 10 minutes. Clean carriages and plenty of seats. Booked online, it was so easy. I paid 960NOK at the time of my booking (2no Adults return = 70GBP). Just checked its now 1008NOK (just a slight increase). It's well worth a look if you don't want to drive / UBER etc. I'll travel this way again if I return, no brainer. PCB 👌🏻

I was issued a fine of 1200 NOK even though I did everything according to their instructions, but their system was lagging to charge my card. Scanned my card at the entry, tried to scan it at the exit, didn't work, got issued a fine for supposedly not having a ticket, the inspector didn't want to look or listen that my card was reserved but not charged yet, even when there were witnesses that confirmed everything, he just issued a fine. Very pleasant experience.

This was amazing travel from Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station - I am railway enthusiast from Poland and found this travel emotional and extremely interesting, especially because of high speed - 210 km per hour. Journey to Oslo Central Station lasts exactly 22 minutes! I am also very grateful for the highest quality of services of train crew, so as supporting staff of Flytoget at both stations. They are ready to answer all questions, also from railway enthusiasts:), like me. Flytoget high speed trains go every 10 minutes, and it makes this way of travelling not only the most time-saving, but extremely interesting. I am very sensitive on safety procedures, and I found these applied at Flytojet as the most restrictive, which makes passengers' journey safe, quiet and comfortable. At each pair of seats in the train everybody could read safety instructions, written both in Norwegian and English, in very simple way (with drawing of train scheme). It is only one sheet of thick paper, but information are written on both pages, in very quick way. Electric sockets are double in every two seats, so there is no issue to use it for our electrical appliances. It was great pleasure to use Flytoget high speed trains during my visit to Oslo. I recommend this highest quality services not only to travel enthusiasts, but all passengers who are interested in the best and time-saving way of travelling. Thank you Flytoget team for your excellent job! See you next time!

There was no warning at the kiosk when I bought my TRAIN ticket that the trains weren't running. Instead, they shuffled us into an overcrowded bus that took forever to load and slowly made its way downtown. For this clearly substandard service they reduced the price by nothing. Next time, I'll find a better way to town. This was pathetic.

Very comfortable, and very easy access to make your way from Oslo's international airport to Oslo's center. Ticket's cost around 240 NOK
Paris T — Google review
HORRIBLE!!! I bought the tickets to go and come. On my way back, they simply canceled the trains, there was nothing written in the station. I had to get a cab otherwise I would miss my flight. Now they blame me because there was a buss going from another station (not the one I was departing from and had the tickets already), and I did not get it! Avoid it if you can! :(
Ellen K — Google review
As others reported, it happened to me that the trip that was supposed to be made by train was performed by bus, considerable slower and less comfortable. Although the bus was nice and perfectly suitable, there was no previous warning or discount. Other bus services offer the same for smaller price. I was going to rate Flytoget as a 3 stars but after reading that what happened to me it's common, I can only rate it as a 2 stars.

Very clean public fitness center which has indoor swimming pools with water slides, steaming room, sauna, café, gym, eating area serving pizza, burger, fries, drinks, ice cream etc. Very friendly and help staff. All areas are very clean and tidy. No bad scent and well kept place and good place for family and friends friend weekend visit. There are also available 3 hours and 1 day free parking places with permit card right around the place.

The slides and pools were great and fun for kids, but we felt the spa options were quite limited—especially for toddlers. Hairdryers were weak, so it's a good idea to bring your own. Sauna choices were fewer than expected, and the showers felt a bit awkward. Since we visited during the holidays, it was very crowded, and the changing rooms were often messy—understandably, as not everyone cleaned up after themselves.

Always nice place for a bath. The options in pools is great and should have something for everyone :) Food is also good.

Great place to spend time with family and friends. Clean water, tidy place and neat everywhere. More than 5 separate pools for different ages and activities. Jacuzzi and sauna also present. With Bigger slides for adults and smaller slides for kids. Parking, Cafeteria, advanced locker and shower area, they do sell swim suit, cap, Goggles and flipflops. But less staffs and unable to contact them at ease. Overall excellent place.

Great place to visit with families, swing, eat, relax, spa. Much fun for the kids. Nice service. Like the new lock system. No need to bring own lock. You might have problems if you forgot something and need to exit building due to the new lock. But not a problem. The price is a bit high for a family to visit, unfortunately. Go a bit later to avoid crowded guests. Will be back☺ hope they will set the price lower for families.
Nhan A — Google review
I was disappointed to visit this swimming pool. The whole complex looks rather old, not modern at all, starting with lockers and showers, to the three tube-slides and the pool itself, with not very clean and clear water, no tiles on the walls or bottom of the pool. Lots of children visiting the pool (main one, unfortunately) and jumping into it from the springboards and the diving tower, making a lot of noise and blocking all lanes but ONE for those who want to swim. After kids are gone, still only two lanes are available for swimming. The two saunas (one dry and one damp) do work, but again, are old-fashioned and not really pleasant to visit. There is a nice warm-water small pool and a Jacuzzi outdoors, worth recommending, though.
