Don't miss the castle if visiting Kalmar! The mummy exhibition is both interesting and fascinating at the same time. Make sure to set aside a half day if you want to go through the castle & mummy exhibition the same day. Comfortable shoes, you will be stepping stones for hours. The park outside the castle is very nice to relax in. You can find rare trees and flowers planted there, each with a little sign of name and year it was planted. Some are very old.

This was our second visit, and we loved it again. They have fun stuff for kids to do, and the castle itself is interesting to explore. The food in the café is good and reasonably priced. The staff all speak English and many seemed to speak German as well (and Swedish, obviously).

Beautiful castle but no way worth the entrance fee. Perhaps if you want the 'included' guided tour or you have small kids to take on the challenges, or you really want to see a random Egyptian exhibition it might be worth the money, but if you want a self guided tour and learn about the history of the castle yourself it's not worth the fee. Recommendation - charge a more reasonable base entrance fee then people extra if they want a guided tour or to enter the Egyptian exhibition.

Interesting and extensive museum, gives great insight in the becoming of Karlskrona. The submarine is most impressive, although all the other exhibitions were also created with great care. One minor problem was that not all the signage was always available in English, or maybe only one sentence was while the Swedish text was very extensive. Google Translate solved this, but that could be improved for foreign visitors.

While not a huge museum, it has some great exhibits, not least a very large naval submarine you can go inside and walk about in. There is a theatre that shows a very well presented film on the timeline of the Swedish navy. All the exhibits are displayed well and have English explanations alongside those in Swedish. The information is not verbose, which is a mistake often made by museums I've been too. The museum has an excellent restaurant which rounds off a really enjoyable experience overall !

Most beautifull museum for marine, I've seen. Being able to visit a real U-boot on the inside completly, just gives you much more feeling with the history and live in the marine. Also the lunch buffet in the museum is good quality.

A lovely couple of hours entertainment. Lots of bits that both kids and adults can enjoy like the nuclear submarine you can go on - do expect queues in busier periods. Really nicely weaved in overarching narratives with rich personal stories and events such as the Polish submariners who fled to Sweden in WW2 and Swedish conscripts experiences of the cold war. For an Englishman a fascinating way to learn more about Sweden's evolution through regional power, to superpower, to the softpower and cultural force you see today.

Very interesting museum offering informal text in various languages. It is a very interactive museum aswell with educational games so you easier can learn about for example submarines and how they work. You can enter a submarine aswell and see how they lived in there and more. There is also a buffet restaurant at the entrance if you want a quick bite before or after your visit.

I’ve been visiting the Blekinge region for years, and I must confess that this museum surprised me very positively with its accurate exhibitions and attention to detail. It transports you back in time and offers a magnified view beneath the surface of Karlskrona’s naval mastery. The museum doesn’t earn a full five stars because the bistro offers only limited and rather bland plant-based options, while most Swedish classic meals served are centered around meat and fried fish. Moreover, I felt the museum’s exhibitions tended to present Sweden’s naval and military history in a way that passively promotes war. Despite being a civilian institution, the displays often focus on military achievements and hardware without encouraging deeper reflection on the consequences or ethical complexities of conflict. I would have appreciated a more critical perspective that invites visitors to consider the broader impacts of war, rather than treating it as an inevitable or unproblematic part of national history.

It's a magnificent ancient church that has retained its genius loci. There is an astronomical clock inside which shows not just time but also date and zodiac sign and it chimes, with moving marionettes, at noon. And this is followed by a short prayer and Bible reading, which I very much appreciated. The bookstore across the church yard is also very much worth visiting.

It's definitely a 5-star spot. I mean, nature and the surroundings are just amazing. Next to the sea with nice walking paths. There are several short and longer paths to walk by in the neighbourhood, and they are all peaceful and enjoyable. Try to get here during the sunny day, you will enjoy it more. Lots of history here.

Time travelling into Viking age. Unique stone formation on the edge of the sea. A nice walk from the carpark up to the cliffs through the village. Before you get the full view of the ship shaped massive stones you can read some information about the rocks. You can wandering off freely and enjoy the ancient stones-formation and the incredible view from the windy hill top to the sea. Be aware of cows grazing on this land around visitors... After that incredible experience on the way back you can also desend to the harbour where are lots of restaurants available or wandering in the little picturesque village and pop in into a coffee shop if they open, unfortunately in October they we're closed already...

Absolutely amazing site. The stones themselves are quite impressive, but the landscapes around are arguably the best part. The view of the sea is impressive, with nice and colorful flowers. There are several short and longer paths to walk by in the neighborhood, and they are all peaceful and enjoyable. Nice bonus : just next to the stones, there is a group of horses and their foals that you can approach and feed (they are very friendly and curious about you). I went a Sunday and it was not particularly crowded. The closest village nearby is quite nice and cosy too if you want to take a break.

Super nice view to the baltic sea and to the nearby neighborhood, very peaceful and you will walk by the sea and forests all the way to the stones which makes it a perfect hiking destination. Better to check public transportation timing beforehand for the way back because it works to a limited extent.

We've visited this place and we like it! The view is wonderful. We had a long walk inside the ruins also around it. The history was rich, each are has its own story to tell. After this, they have a cafeteria, where you can have lunch or snacks while enjoying the view. I'm not sure about the ticket, we just park and pay it online. But entrance fee don't think so.

What an impressive ruins! They are still quite in tact and are great to wander through and explore. In the winter, the info centre is not open, but you can still walk up to and around the castle. There are great coastal views and you are actually quite high up! There are information signs around, so you do learn a bit. Enjoy the many view points and benches where you can sit to take it all in. There are a number of sections fenced off at the moment, but everything is still very accessible. I really enjoyed exploring this area!

If you haven't seen this museum till now, don't lose the chance to get familiar with the awesome history of great ancient human civilizations, it also can be interesting for kids or teenagers. Apparently it is gradually getting under construction section after another section, unfortunately I missed some important parts due to the reconstruction work, later on I had to check the missing parts on the original video & virtual tour of the museum.

One can easily spend more than 2 hours here if interested. The collection is huge and enormous. Definitely one of the largest museums.The audio guide is very well designed. The Mesopotamian, Babylonian and Islamic collections are incredible. 12 euros for direct ticket bought at the museum. Online booking in advance could help.

A must visit museum in Berlin. Museum has so much collection of historical antique items. Ishtar gate is the main attraction and it's beautiful and huge. Also the Roman market fascade is huge and it's well preserved in museum. Audio guide helps in getting the information easily about all the artifacts. Very much recommended museum in Berlin.

One of the most interesting museums I have ever been to. Would surely recommend to anyone who likes history. Alot to learn and much beauty to admire. It took us about 3 hours without rushing and we were able to walk through all the exhibits. TIP: Make sure to carry an A4 size bag if you would like to carry some water or any thing else inside with you. There is a coat check area and lockers for bigger bags. You just need 1-2 Euro to access them which you can get back at the end of your tour. Enjoy!

A little pricy however you will get the best views across the city, you can see for miles. You go quickly up the elevator to the point where your ears pop on the way up. If you take photos of the views be prepared to alter the white balance as the viewing windows tend to have a green tint. Would be nice to see the views at night.

After sunset it's too dark and you can't identify the various places in the city. It felt a bit crowded on the viewing terrace though. I booked the Standard Ticket with the bar reservation included, and I have to praise the overall organization: getting in was incredibly efficient, and the elevator ride was impressively fast. The 360-degree view on a clear day is, of course, absolutely phenomenal and gives you a panoramic understanding of the entire city. The Major Downside: Overcrowding Unfortunately, the experience at the top was quite disappointing due to the severe overcrowding. It was so crowded that it was difficult to move, and we could barely get close to the windows to view the city in a relaxed way. It felt hectic and rushed, which really diminished the beauty of the experience. Bar Service Saves the Day A huge positive was the bar. They have great drink options, and the barman was very generous with the portions of wine, which certainly helped make the visit more enjoyable despite the crowds! Verdict: While the organization and bar service were excellent, the sheer number of people allowed up at once is poorly managed. If the tower better controlled the number of visitors allowed per time slot, this experience would be world-class. It’s worth doing once for the view, but be prepared for a very crowded and potentially frustrating experience if you visit during a busy time.

I booked the breakfast experience for my partner and I. It wasn’t as full as we were expecting and we were totally blown away with our window seat. It was a clear sunny morning and the changing view over the 1 hour 40 mins. The breakfast was well presented and service was excellent. It’s a unique experience. For the extra cost over just going to the viewing platform it’s worth every extra pound/euro! You get a clearer extremely relaxing view and no crowds. We were lucky with the weather on a November day and noticed that it got more hazy later in the morning. There is a system for letting people in to the building which mixes those going to viewing deck and those got the restaurant. It might be better to give priority to eaters as they have specific time slots. I wish I’d taken my binoculars. All in all I’d highly recommend the restaurant experience for breakfast time views. Even though it was ‘just’ breakfast it seemed nevertheless quite romantic for our little celebration.

I couldn’t find anywhere that sold entry tickets for less than €20. It’s also in a reasonably built up area so sights would be limited from most the sides, I would guess. However, saying that there are some incredible buildings nearby that might be nice to see from above. I personally think I would prefer other viewing experiences in Berlin for lower costs(I can’t name them as this is against googles reviewing policies but it might be a certain political building with stellar views). I hear there is a restaurant at the top that friends have recommended. A stable and defining piece of the Berlin skyline that can be seen from throughout the city, however, high prices let this tower down.

I went here for the 'Highest Breakfast' experience and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the staff and waiter were super friendly and welcoming. The waiter told me that Breakfast time is the quietest time to go, and indeed, only a few other tables were occupied and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Apparently the evening dining can be quite busy, and louder as a result, so I'm glad I picked to go in the morning. The floor where the tables sit is slowly rotating, so you get to see the whole surrounding skyline without even leaving your seat. I loved the neat but fancy decor, and drinking my coffee while looking out over Berlin. I would definitely recommend the restaurant if you're thinking of visiting.

I had to visit this place for my 3 days in Berlin and it didn't disappoint! Iconic to Berlin. Some are a trip and some I didn't get, but if you run into those you can walk right past to a new piece. Information on the artists is listed in front of the artwork. Super cool. I went solo I don't think I would want to go as a group by going solo you can spend time enjoying the parts you like and take it at your own pace.

As the history of Berlin is very dictated by the wall that separated it, very good to see it and easy to imagine how it would feel for the people living in the same city but separated from this giand wall. Also i liked that in the park nearby was a lot a people who were chilling, playing and having fun 🌞

It was amazing to see the Berlin Wall up close, covered in murals that are not just beautiful but also carry powerful messages. For me it had historic moments to things that still feel relevant today. The walk isn’t too long, and every few steps there’s another piece of art that makes you stop and think. Definitely worth visiting.

I really enjoyed looking across at all the art and little tags locals and others had made on the wall, took plenty of photos. One thing that did irritate me slightly was the amount of attention the picture of the two men kissing got was ridiculous, also it was so crowded at this specific picture that it was almost impossible to take a photo of it and even walk past it, people by this specific picture were also very rude pushing others out of the way. It really upsets me because so many of the other pictures barely had any attention when I would argue there were so much nicer than the one stated above

The castle was absolutely magical! 🏰✨ Surrounded by peaceful forests and a lovely lake, the whole area feels like a dream. 🌳🌊 It’s so calm and serene — perfect for a quiet escape into nature. I’m leaving my opinion with regards to the visit to the castle, not the hotel. Unfortunately the trip went bad. We have a 2 years old daughter and my wife is 7 months pregnant. Usually this is not an issue and we are used to travel quite a lot, our daughter as well. We visit castles, museums etc. When a visit involves going down or up a very narrow tower or suffocating space, the guide informs visitors in advance. Well, not here. The group was quite numerous for those spaces and at the end of the tour, we were invited to visit the cellars but, little did we know that this involved going down a very very claustrophobic space. So my wife had to go back almost fainting and my little daughter didn’t handle that and I had to follow my wife. Of course with ZERO help from the guide or other visitors. That was just..bad. Overall the experience as a human was negative.

As a foreigner non polish speaking person the experience was mediocre at best. We were told that we could not see the castle unless we joined a tour. They only offered polish speaking tours apparently. The guide seemed mad at us for being there. Very poorly serviceminded. The castle it self was beautiful. But would it recommend for non polish speakers.

The promotional materials claim that the castle looks like something out of Harry Potter… well, that’s quite an exaggeration. I get that they need to attract tourists somehow, but the PR team really let their imagination run wild here. Take that description with about 2% truth—maybe even less. But the surroundings, especially in autumn, are truly beautiful.

Fantastic place to visit with great history. As a hotel I would say it mid-range, with simple breakfast and small car park. But the surroundings makes up for that. And quite expensive to be honest.

It’s true that the castle and its grounds are spectacular — perched above the river with rose gardens and fountains, with its old walls and ramparts intact. The hotel, on the other hand, is a letdown. First, hotel parking was not free nor was it close to the castle. Written info on the castle is not available in English (confusing, as some signage inside is in English). There is no seating in the lobby, which is OK only when weather is nice. The vast majority of the castle is not accessible, nor was a tour offered when I checked in. There are amenities listed online and in their brochure that do not exist (e.g. a sauna and spa facilities). Wifi was spotty and at times did not work at all. think it’s a shame that one of Europe’s most spectacular castle hotels is, as it turns out, not very nice at all.

I was expecting more, at least something like Książ. Unfortunately, the group was quite big and noisy and at times it was hard to hear the guide. The castle itself is just average, not more than that. The ticket price is 10 euros for an adult, which is 5 times more expensive than in some Spanish castles. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it to my friends either.

I visited Wrocław Zoo on two separate occasions in September 2025 in order to make the most of my time in the city and the weather. I visit zoos across the world in order to photograph their animals, and would consider the one in Wrocław among the best. The zoo is well laid out, with many indoor houses and outdoor enclosures for species across the animal kingdom. The houses that most impressed me were the Terrarium (for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates) and the Afrykarium for African fauna. The Terrarium is laid out over two floors (unfortunately not accessible to wheelchairs) and contains around 100 exhibits for animals ranging from tiny insects to crocodiles and giant tortoises. All of these are appropriate in size and conditions for their inhabitants. Many of the animals here can only be seen here in Europe, including some tiny colourful geckos from the Indian Ocean. I spent several hours in here on my two visits, photographing all the animals I could see. The Afrykarium takes you on a journey through the continent and its waters. The only deviation from this theme was to replace the rare African manatees with their slightly more common Caribbean relative, of which I could see five individuals swimming in their tank. Other inhabitants include penguins, fur seals, sharks, hippopotamus, aardvarks, and elephant shrews. The building is accessible to wheelchairs with a few elevators, but one was out of service on my visit. Other notable exhibits include the bird house, with its many rare species, Pallas’s cats, and olive baboons. Overall I recommend a visit to anyone interested in birds, endangered species, unusual reptiles, or just animals in general.

I absolutely loved my visit to the Wrocław Zoo! It’s one of the most beautiful and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The animals look healthy and well cared for, and the enclosures are clean and spacious. The Afrykarium is a must-see — it feels like stepping into another world! 🐠🐧 There are plenty of places to relax, grab a snack, and enjoy the atmosphere. Perfect for families, couples, or just a peaceful walk surrounded by nature and animals. Highly recommend visiting! 🌿🐘🦓

Truly amazing experience! The Wrocław Zoo is much bigger than I expected and incredibly well kept. You can really see that the animals are healthy, well fed, and properly cared for — everything feels very natural and clean. There are so many different species to see, and the Afrykarium is just breathtaking! The only small downside is that not every section has English translations, but honestly, it didn’t stop us from enjoying it at all. It’s a wonderful place for both kids and adults — definitely one of the best zoos I’ve ever visited. Highly recommended!

Great value for ticket cost, 176zł (£36.05 for x2 ticket, £18 per person). So many animals, a lot to see, indoor aquarium was amazing and tunnel under the sharks and rays was a highlight. Hot dogs from cafe at beginning were great, little expensive compared to other places (48zł for x2 hot dogs, x1 cola, x1 water, £8.82. Each hot dog at 12zł (£2.45) compared to 8.99zł (£1.84) for hot dogs and cola bottle elsewhere). Gift shop closed hour before zoo closed so missed out on getting any items from there sadly

Absolutely stunning—easily one of the best zoos I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen quite a few. Massive grounds, an incredible variety of animals, and more than enough to fill an entire day. A definite must-visit if you’re in Wroclaw.

Great ZOO with quite a long history! I'd especially recommend pavilon with manatees (there is not very many places to see those in Europe) and very nice terrarium. There is an underground parking nearby, so you can leave your dog in the car without worries even if it's hot outside. Very worth visiting once you are in Wroclaw!

An incredible zoo with lots to see including an aquarium. The zoo covers a huge area and it’s really enjoyable to explore the grounds and buildings on site. Highly recommend a visit and would suggest half a day to explore as a minimum.

I left the place with tears in my eyes. In my life I have visited many zoos in many places around the world, but I have never seen animals so sad, exhausted, neglected. The place is really depressing. There are many restaurants and play areas for children there. The signage is simply terrible! We followed the exit sign and it took us right to the other end of the zoo and we had to walk about fifteen minutes to the parking lot.

Nice mid-sized zoo ( the first one founded in Czech Republic in 1904) where one can easily spend 2-3 hours. Animals look happy and taken care of. Food inside is ok to feed the kids.

Poor male lion was just really suffereing through lack of stimulus and just taking 2-3 steps and turning around. Solitary elephant. Solitary tapier with nothing. No access to bedding. Like the lion just pacing up and down.A pond but securly fenced off. Solitary elephant just a small concrete surface clearly suffering No grass or vegetation like most enclosures. Painfull to see Flamingos rubbing their beaks on hard ground desparately wanting the right conditions. I could go on but definitely a place to miss. The botanical gardens are 5 mins walk away. I was there in April 2025, so i opted for the €1 Euro zoo as little in flower. Big mistake I do hope Trust pilot publish because we need the trooth

If the volières for the animals weren’t so tiny I would have given this place 5*. Animals were bored because they hadn’t enough space. Especially it concerns larger species. Seeing them in those prison cages was very sad. 😢 If I had money I would definitely invest into a reconstruction of that place! 😖

Very nice zoo with special white tigers - the main attraction. Definitely worth visiting while in town. You can spend there like 2 hours. The cats seems to have a smaller rooms that I would expected. That’s actually similar for all animals here - you would think they should have more space but yeah, it’s a zoo 🤷🏼‍♂️ there is only one restaurant and one cafe so when visiting during weekend the line was ridiculous.

We visited this zoo with our 2 kids. The entrance price is very affordable (€5,- for adults) and the zoo itself looks nice with lots of trees. Many cages are kinda small for the animals and needs renovation. There are 2 play ereas for the kids. Both are fun and looks neat.

It's a very historically important church. It's a wooden church with beautiful exterior architecture. There's a small cemetery surrounding the church. While many churches in Poland are free to enter, this one costs 14 zł, with an additional 5 zł if you have a camera. I didn't go in because there were large groups of people inside.

Worth to see, very nice little wooden church with beautiful well maintained grounds. Ticket is cheap and you can spend there as much time as you want. To there there you can leave your car on paid parking and take a walk. Some little shops and coffee places around. View is spectacular

A small wooden Viking-style church surrounded by a small old cemetery. The steep trip up will reward you with breathtaking views. What I don’t accept personally is paying an entrance fee to a church!

Karpacz and Wang Church are kinda places you should visit before die! I had visit there by my bike 🚲, saw amazing nature and had an amazing experience.

If you want to see an original Norwegian Stave Church without travelling North, that is the solution. The history behind is even more interesting. Definitely worth visiting.

Zamek Książ is one of the tourist attractions that you must visit if you are nearby. The third largest castle in Poland has an interesting history and the castle tour will delight you. You can spend a whole day here without getting bored.

We walked in the summer, but wanted to see this castle last winter, which might be a bit problem as the path may have been a bit slippery. It's a nice circuit along the river, quite uphill, from St Anne's church, (ruins) through the old castle to the new chateau , which is beautiful and the park maintained, free to enter. The place is photogenic and on the way there you can stop at the viewpoint. However, choose the right part of the day not to have the sun directly to your eyes.

Unbelievable castle! Very huge with an extended park. Tha castle itself is nicely decorated and furnished. You can feel the atmosphere of the past. By official suggestion you need 2.5 hours to go round but we did it shorter because we didn't have too much time. We went on the underground tour as well which is very interesting. It was part of the Rise Project of nazi Germany. A sharp contrast with the peaceful world of the castle!! You have to climb a lot of stairs!! Be careful. But it is worth!

Tickets cost around 60pln for visit a castle. The whole tour takes around 1h. The castle is really good renovated and has a lot to see. Parking cost us 30pln . With the ticket you have also entrance to the garden. I did not have to wait to visit this place

It was an interesting visit, but there were some organizational issues. Ksiaz Castle is definitely worth a visit. The self-guided tour of the interior is interesting and informative. Seeing the original furniture and décor from different historical periods was fascinating and really helped us imagine life in those times. The castle is large, and the tour takes about one to two hours, depending on your pace. You can explore at your own pace, which is a big plus. After finishing the tour of the interior, you can access the gardens, where you can walk around, relax, and even grab a bite to eat at the café. Note that prices are on the expensive side. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with the security staff. Due to the large number of visitors, it was difficult to stop and take photos, so I wanted to walk back and capture some shots I had missed. However, I was told that going against the flow is not allowed, even though I saw someone else (not a staff member) doing so freely. It felt inconsistent and frustrating. Make sure not to skip the underground section of the tour. It provides fascinating insight into the castle’s role during WWII. It's quite cold underground, so bring a warm layer. Plan to spend about 40 minutes down there. Overall: It's a beautiful, historic place worth visiting, but be prepared for some crowd-related limitations during peak times.

Better to come earlier to prevent huge queue for the tickets. Use terminals to the left from tickets office (same enter as tickets office), they were totally free. Great and clean place inside and outside. P.s. if you want to enjoy coffee after visiting castle - better stay in cafe inside (NOT on terrace), because they have huge queue and bad coffee quality. So buy inside whatever you want (as take away) and enjoy terrace view.

A must in terms of hike in the Czech Republic, very well signaled and prepared routes on both sides, recommend to do it in warmer season. I did it in winter and it was very tough compared to summer. The village (Pec pod Sněžkou) under the mountain it's the perfect place to stay for 1-2 nights, as the hiking routes basically starts from it

The highest peak in Czech- Bohemia, Sněžka 1603m s/l where it borders Poland. Nice hike from the Polish side of the Silesian Hut ⛰️ 😉👍

We visited on a foggy day, the cablecar was even closed half way to the mountain top due to strong winds, so we hiked there. The path is not very long, some 6km in total. Expect lots of steep stairs and some hard ice, even in the Spring time. Even though, we couldn't see much, view wise, we still enjoyed the short adventure. Make sure to bring warm clothing... It felt like - 10 at the top due to the strong winds. The nearby parking is paid and around 1km away from the cable car station but there is a nice side trail following the water stream.

Beautiful views, quite hard climb but suitable for begginners, you can see everywhere around either polish and chech side. From Czech side you can take lift car from Pec pod sniezkou which takes you directly to the top. Small restaurant on the top which is usually crowded so better be prepare having own food and drinks.

This trip was unplanned, so the weather conditions were not in my favor, and it was difficult to enjoy the scenery. However, this trip was a great risky adventure that will remain in my memory for a long time. An incredible place for a winter vacation.

Hey everyone...Is the highest mountain of the Czech Republic (1603 meters 5260 feet) the ascent is possible from the Czech or Polish side....I crossed the Polish side...in the city of Karpaz at the municipal parking lot no. 7... .it's two and a half hours from the parking lot (or you can use the cable car that takes you under the hut and then it's only about an hour's journey) the level of difficulty is easy to medium... in winter, be careful at the top, it can be minus 20 and a strong wind that I experienced firsthand....

A little over 2 hours drive from Prague, but worth the journey! Breathtaking scenery around every bend. The main green trail is easy. The yellow trail is more intense terrain, but well marked. Impossible to get lost. I spent 5 hours here.

Incredible piece of nature. It is not my first time here but I always enjoy it. No toilets, but the walk is not that long. Outside places with souvenirs, food and drinks. Cash only for food, tickets are fine for debit card.

The Adršpach-Teplice Rocks are absolutely stunning! The natural rock formations and breathtaking scenery make it a must-visit destination. We opted for the green trail, a beautiful hike that took us around an hour and a half through the park. The walk was peaceful and offered amazing views at every turn. Just a heads up, you need to book your tickets in advance. We scheduled our visit for 5:00 PM, which turned out to be the perfect time—great weather and fewer crowds. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place and gorgeous nature. I recommend taking the blue trail, it is over 6 km and not simple, but there are the most beautiful rocks there.

I recommend coming here. It’s a long walk up but when you get to the top it is well worth it. You might want to take some snacks and water with you.

What a great place to visit! Trails and mountains are breathtaking, well maintained and beautiful. Strongly recomend.

Absolute must when in the area. The pathway along the gorges and maze like rock formations of Szczeliniec are breath taking and also loads of fun to squeeze via various narrow pathways feeling closer to nature than ever. One spot I had to go down on all 4s as otherwise would never make it but still had a blast. There’s also a mountain shelter on top with a variety of food, snacks, gifts and drinks for before taking the between rocks path. People say it’s worth to buy tickets in advance, but in early November there was no need. So if you’re planning in peak season check the website for an early purchase.

There are many nice hiking trails in Stołowe mountains. This is the most crowdy, popular and probably interesting one. Mostly because great view platforms. Easy to climb and walk. 2 hours in total.

Highly recommended to visit here with kids. Tickets can be booked online to avoid the queue. Preferred on Weekdays if it is summer.

Breathtaking views! Wear tracking boots, water, some food. Walking to the top is about 20-40 min, depends on your physical condition. I was there in about 12:30 PM and there were some groups of people. Not too crowded. Back road is easy.

What a wonderful adventure going into the labyrinth of this place. A journey through the cracks and crevices of the rocks that form these flat topped mountains. Huge descents and steep rises, yet doable for all ages.

A heathen here. A pretty magnificent church. Our tour uses a local tour guide who takes us through the church while the Mass is in progress. He's also very thorough with the small museum. The church is dedicated to Black Madonna (the Virgin Mary), mother of Jesus. Reportedly, she possessed extraordinary power.

I love this place a lot. As soon as you walk through the gates it feels like you enter a little village on its own!!! It's a really peaceful and sacred place. I can only recommend ^^

Gorgeous buildings and surroundings. We were lucky enough to be there while mass was on. The sound of singing fills the place with reverie. There are multiple areas of the compound that are well worth a visit.

Wonderful shrine, a must-see while around Krakow. The icone of our Lady, the beautiful church, a very interesting treasury and museum, and breathtaking view at the top of the tower, all these make this place a magical one.

This is considered to be a sacred place with a miracle-making icon. This historical place is visited by the Pope, too. The architecture with inside decoration of the churches is beautiful! The entrance is free. There is a large parking behind the cathedral complex. Many pilgrims come here every year.

There are a variety of wild animals to see here. The enclosures are very large and offer the animals plenty of activities and space. A very nice family zoo, the seals have plenty of action! A really nice zoo!

This zoo is beautiful and big. There is English posting for names and much information in Polish that can be translated with Lens. The ice cream was delicious and very clean place. We spent over two hours and could have spent even more time there. I think we walked nearly 10km during the visit. It is one of my favorites

Even better zoo than I imagined. You can see the animals really close. It's really modern, clean, and has beautiful waterfalls and an overall vibe. We went on a rainy day, so there were almost no other visitors besides me and my girlfriend, which made it feel like a private tour. We were there for at least 2.5 hours and still didn't see everything that the zoo had to offer.

Really good experience, can’t complain really! Though it was sometimes hard to view the animals as the cage was very large compared to the number of animals with an outdoor and indoor section. Apart from that wear some good shoes as you’ll be walking for ages.

I definitely recommend this historical Fort museum for visiting. Amazing view for the town, landscape and mountains. A lot of tables with different interesting historical information. My child has loved this place also, especially the hospital. Take in advance that you need more than 2 hour to visiting all this place But it definitely worth it.Very deep history

Wonderful place to visit. It is really big. Just note that there were several beer breweries! Underground labyrinths must have to visit a well. It's amazing.

A very impressive fort, with a rich history throughout the ages. The museum is full of tales from the past and from the many different nations whom once claimed it as their own. The many facilities in the fort tell a thrilling story of the functions and the people who worked here. A well preserved historic site, worth visiting in the area.

Such a cool place to visit. This unique fortification complex is one of the kind. We recommend to buy combined ticket to tour the fort and the underground tunnels/the labyrinth. The views of Kłodzko town and surrounding hills from the observation points are remarkable.

We paid 60pln for castle and labirent I think it’s a lot for this place because it’s a castle in 24.500 people population city It might be quite important place however they don’t even have English guide for the tour . I tried to understand with the things they put for reading but Some of parts were just polish as well. Inside was not super interesting and only tunnel was okey to see The lady explained everything Polish and we didn’t understand anything and we got bored . It’s not worth it money 💰

Plece is ok to visit, but nothing very special. If I were to visit this place again, I would choose to see the sights without a tour guide.

The ticket you get is good for the whole day. You may also re-enter the fortress on the same day. The guided tour is interesting. It takes you also through several exhibitions, but there isn't much time to see them through. You might want to consider visiting them again after the tour is over.

A castle which came out of a fairy tale. Beautiful. After visiting 50+ castles/palaces, it was a dream for me to stay in a castle and it happened here at Moszna Castle. It was a perfect stay, clean spacious rooms with fountain view, spotless comfortable bed, huge bathroom, restaurant, a shop, free parking. I like the idea that interiors of the room are vintage and will made you feel you are in a castle. Like any other accomodation, there are lots of improvements that could be done. We are the only customer at the restaurant but we waited a bit to be seated. Very limited choice too, but it was delicious. There are few insects flying while we are eating so I believe it is something that could be addressed. Loved the mojito, but hopefully it had more alcohol to taste more authentic. But overall, we liked our stay, especially that they offered us a packed breakfast as we had to leave at 6am. It was 2 big bags of complete breakfast variety.

The castle was beautiful and full of old-world charm. The food was absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious and pretty, though the bathtub made showering a bit awkward—water tended to go everywhere. They did a lovely job decorating the table for my birthday dinner, which was a special touch. Overall, the price was very reasonable.

A nice palace with a beautiful garden. The staff is so friendly and the ticket price is cheap. The hole territory of the palace is gorgeus. The cafe is gorgeus what operated by basic prices. But the reason of the 3-star: very very few information has written by english. Almost everything in polish. It’s so wrong for visitors from abroad.

This is a beautiful castle with spacious rooms and gorgeous views. The grounds are lovely and the dancing fountain is a treat. If you eat in the restaurant, try the beef roulade, it was delicious. The breakfast provided great coffee and a wide variety of options. Please come by car as there are few options by train. There is a bus but it is not ideal with luggage or backpacks. There were some issues with flies in the restaurant, but I hope that wasn't the norm. The castle needs some TLC (some painting, some steps need repair, the shower stalls need updated), but it's definitely worth coming for a visit. Staying here was a highlight and a treat for me.

To say that experience from authentic hotel in real castle is unbelievable equals to saying nothing. Atmosphere, rooms, area, full authenticity, even the floor with creaking boards makes unforgettable impressions. To enjoy it fully better to go without kids below 3-4 years 🙈 Strongly recommend to visit it!!!

Amazing castle! I love the gardens, the fountains, we could get inside the castle and it was a great experience. The coffee shop was full no salty options, only cakes.

Really nice zoo where they are taking really good care of the animals! Almost each species has a space with trees, leaves and everything they need. I really recommend visiting this Zoo! You can buy tickets at the entrance. The parking costs 100 CZH per day.

Very nice zoo - it’s a great connection between animals and botanical gardens in park style. If you are hungry- you can use a full variety of food and cafes. Children also won’t be sad or bored - they can use many different areas for play and joy. Visiting this place is very valuable and gives many opportunities to learn and explore our environment. Five stars and full recommendations!

I visited on a sunday and it was a bit busy. The animal enclosures are big and look like a natural habitat. It is well maintained, clean and the animals are in great shape. They also have breeding programs and overall seems like a very humane zoo.

Modern ZOO, very nice place for families, a lot of animals but also plants, new animal enclosures, large zoo area, you need min. 4 hours . Good and close parking , friendly entrance, several snack stands and restaurants,possible pay bycard.

Great place to stay with kids even for the whole day. Lots of animals and lots of extra kids activities. Food stands on every corner.

We drove there to spend the day-date accompanied by exotic animals. We weren’t dissapointed although we were concerned that the animals were a bit cramped up.

Lovely little animal park. It sort of comes as a surprise to find an alpaca walking on the road alongside you. GREAT collection of owls but their enclosures are small enough to make you kind of go "Oh, poor thing." But the falconer show is well worth the visit! Those guys are good, even though they couldn't get the eagle out for the kids this time. So it goes. Big playground but some bits are paid and the carnies there are a little slimy, but they give the kids lots of time on the trampoline. The restaurant up top is very Polish in that they have a lovely large menu posted outside that you spend twenty minutes staring at and deciding then go in and they say "We have two things, everything else no." Seems to be a theme around these parts. But the řizek was good and the fries were really good. My wife also praised the coffee from the stand at the playground for actually serving a decent-sized coffee. You won't need the whole day here, but it is a nice way to spend a morning and lunch, especially if you have kids.

Great experience with my family even on a rainy day. The birds of pray show was breathtaking and the beautiful forrest animals we saw were already worth the ticket price. Additionally, the stuffed animal and antlers display was very informative and you can touch. Did not expect to see the racoons. :-) Other than that the carousels were dismantled in winter and the fairytale display a bit dated, but it gave us a laugh. We used up the whole bag of the feed purchased at the gate feeding some hungry deers. Warning: To get there you have to hike up along unpaved road, or find a parking spot, which due to the building site works are limited. Pro tip: Hotel Diament two streets below is a delicious gourmet spot for lunch/dinner afterwards.

Great place to spend a few hours, at a relatively reasonable price. Food was tasty at the cafe at the top. The deers were very friendly and lovely to feed and stroke. The bird show was decent. Plenty of free parking available.

Nice cheap day out for the family, two flying displays, owls and other birds of prey. Lots of animals running wild in the park, goats, deer and alpacas. A small amusement park in the summer with games for the kids and places to. Bar and hot food served at the top of the park all year around. Good wholesome day out feeding the goats and donkey.

There are a few animals, mostly owls and birds of prey in cages. You can touch and feed sikas and llamas if they are not overfed by crowds of people. If you have a stroller with little wheels, you are screwed as there are mostly gravel paths. In the centre there is a little amusement park for kids. For 12 euros/person you get very little. If you want to see a lot of animals in better conditions, make a trip to the Ostrava zoo which is a proper zoo for roughly half price.

We visited Leśny Park Niespodzianek a few days ago on a sunny day. The park was busy but not overcrowded. Unfortunately, the visit was very sad for me. Almost all of the animals looked bored and apathetic. The deer and alpacas roam freely and you can buy feed at the entrance, but it is a waste of money as the animals showed no interest at all. The enclosures in general are poorly designed and lack care. The worst were the wildcats: tiny, dirty cages, full of cobwebs, with no enrichment or places to hide. They were lying curled up on the bare ground. I have visited many wildlife parks in Germany, but I have never seen such poor conditions there. The raccoons were in a similar situation, kept in a small cage with no shelter and nothing to play with. I also felt very sorry for the beautiful birds of prey, kept in enclosures far too small for such large, majestic animals. In my opinion, the so-called Fairy Tale Alley with loud music does not belong in a place where wild animals live, since the noise must cause them additional stress. Our 3-year-old child enjoyed the playground, especially the large ball pit and the diggers. However, the alpacas have their food and water right in the middle of the playground and are constantly bothered by people. I even saw them being touched or hit by the swings while people were playing. The park is hardly accessible with a stroller, which was fine for us as we did not have one. The ticket price is far too high for just a few hours, especially when you see the poor condition of the animals. Conclusion: A place with huge potential that, sadly, is not being used. As long as the animals are kept in such conditions, I cannot and will not recommend this park.

a great place to spend time with your loved ones. the possibility of communing with animals of our Polish forests. animals have already become accustomed to visitors and, above all, to children. the part with birds and the show of flying predators deserve attention. for PLN 32 per person, you can spend a nice day. When choosing a place, remember a few important things: good, comfortable shoes, because walking is a lot steep and rocky. if you are going with small children do not take the pram. downside is the waiting time at the checkout. the owner should take care of more bandwidth. I highly recommend this place.
