It's my second time visiting this complex and I can highly recommend it. This time, I found out that the museum itself has been closed for several years already due to extensive renovations. Unfortunately this wasn't very clear online and when you get there the signage isn't very clear either - we walked right past the containerized ticket booth because when you walk towards the building from the parking lot, you can't see the signage. However, visiting the special exhibition was worth it. It's immensely important to expose yourself to our history - maybe one day we will learn?

Worth a visit. They are currently renovating and I expect that the updated museum will be excellent. No real signage for the other outdoor paths and buildings. We saw the interim exhibit and it was quite complete. €5 cash to park. Couple this site with the Nuremberg Court Rooms. (Make sure to pay the street parking fee as a whole line of cars got ticketed outside the court room.)

It was temporarily closed when I visited. If you want to see it reopened, go in 2026.

Nice place beside a beautiful lake . Very nice historical place.

One of the iconic castles of Germany, with loads of imperial connections, and well worth braving the rather steep ascent (the views are great, too). Part of the fortifications that lure you up are actually the city wall, not the castle proper, but the overall effect is what counts. If you are spendthrift, skip the castle interior (interesting, but nor overwhelming), and definitely do not eat there (much better value can be found around the nearby Dürerhaus or in town).

Definitely worth the price of admission. Lots of walking so wear good shoes. Make sure to check out the bridge near the bus drop-off point for the best view. No photography once you are inside. The castle is fabulous. There are bathrooms and a small Cafe inside. Get there early to avoid the crowd.

Nuremberg Castle Beautiful castle with great panoramic views of the city! 🏰✨ The climb up gives you a bit of a sweat, but totally worth it once you reach the top — the scenery is amazing. Perfect spot for photos and enjoying the old-town vibe from above.

From other reviews, didn't believe there'd be a lot of items to see in the museum. Was very surprised at the amount of historical items and information provided. The views of the city were fantastic along with the historic background. Very easy walk even inside the museum and inner grounds. I highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Beautiful spot to explore — great for a scenic walk with lovely views over the city. The whole place has a strong historic atmosphere and makes for a really nice visit.

The Imperial Castle is the symbol of Nuremberg. Since the Middle Ages its silhouette has represented the power and importance of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation and the outstanding role of the imperial city of Nuremberg. From 1050 to 1571, all Holy Roman Emperors resided – at least temporarily – in the Imperial Castle. An archeological exploration of the grounds of the castle has revealed remains of a fortress.

Location is the only good about this place. Rooms are really small, I mean REALLY small. I've booked a room with separeted beds, got a double. When I got back the reception, to have it as I booked, the receptionis said this is all the rooms like, sepearate the beds. Yeah, maybe I should bend the space, so it would have enough room for it. We were there for 3 nights, the room never got cleaned. The whole place could use a renovation. Breakfast was ok, not good, just ok. Staff is below ok. For this price it is expensive.

The only modern/budget hotel in the old town. Ask for rooms facing the street side (better view) and ending in 15 or 19 (larger). Not the best Ibis shower that I know (they're generally excellent), the shower floor levels with the bathroom (don't wash too enthusiastically), and there's a GREY shower curtain that doesn't let light it (now that's a first-timer!).

My husband and I arrived, during Christmas Market time. The concierge's name was Abdullah, who was very professional, personable and helpful. This hotel was close to the festivities and had underground parking. Parking fee was $20 euro for the parking, which was convenient not trying to find parking elsewhere or the possibility of walking long distances, with suitcases. The room and bathroom were very clean, location mostly quiet (in the middle of the night, there were people smoking and speaking loudly outside, which wasn't the hotel's fault), beds and pillows were comfortable and the temperature pleasant. If one didn't want to eat at the hotel, Cafe Luitpold was nearby with a delicious, fresh and nutritious breakfast. If we would travel again to Bamberg, we would consider this hotel again.

The central location is by far the best feature is this Ibis Bamberg Altstadt - you are just five minutes waking from Altes Rathaus, in the heart of the old town. The installations are very clean and functional. The bathroom is extremely small and they charge for the subterranean parking, which is something I didn’t see in the website. But anyway, in terms of cost benefit, it is definitely well worth.

Everything was great here!!! Breakfast, Clean rooms, quiet warm place, park for additional Euros, but not much. Excellent Staff service as they are very nice and kind. The location is another great item, very close to the most popular city tourist attractions. I do recommend it.

Historic house well located in the center with friendly staff. While rooms are clean and big enough, they lack atmosphere (I guess that can be expected from an Ibis?) and some maintenance (dents in furniture, plastic covers of light switch and remote control broken,...). Breakfast is OK to good, paid parking available and WiFi is slow (unless you pay extra).

A very successful experience for children aged 4-12. A large place with lots of options that are very difficult to complete in one day due to the long lines for most of the facilities. You have to arrive with a lot of patience. Overall, this is a park where the attractions themselves are not crazy, but the "wrapping" of Lego does its job. The place is very neat and clean and easy to navigate. Overall, this is a recommended day out for the family.

This is in my opinion the best of the 3 Legoland parks in Europe. Everything is good value here, especially the food and the quality of said food is fantastic. I went into the pizza restaurant and paid around €16 for a fresh out of the oven pizza and amazing chocolate tart. They both felt like they came from an expensive restaurant, very tasty and beautiful presentation. You have the best selection of rides here from small to thrilling. A really good variety - the best being Maximus. An absolutely thrilling b&m coaster which despite the short ride time, offers some incredible moments of weightlessness. The park is kept tidy and clean - the bathrooms are cleaned very regularly. Queues are managed well and have the bonus of single rider if you're a lone traveller like me. Saves a lot of time. Theres a few little themed shops dotted around and although a couple were closed on my trip due to the time of year possibly, there's still a lot on offer. More than any other Lego park in Europe like I said. I had the best 2 days here and I can't wait to come back again.

We took the kids to Germany and our first stop before traditional castles and museums was Legoland Germany! We LOVED it. Drove straight from airport to the hotel (we stayed at the Pirate Hotel), checked in, then did a full afternoon and evening till close. We ate at the steak restaurant near hotels and onsite for snacks, lunch, etc. We prepaid for breakfast at Pirate hotel. Because of birthdays, we did the birthday package (they decorated the room and more) and because tip mattered we did the VIP package. THIS was worth every penny! We skipped the line at every ride, got extra swag & mini figures, and store discounts [don’t forget to ask for tax refund forms at the store (typically 100 or more spent)]. The staff are awesome and most are bilingual if you are rusty. If you are a LEGO fan or traveling Germany with kids, this place is worth every penny! For the super fans, they had themes we found no where else (e.g. adventure series at the log ride); and rides that are not found at the US Legolands. Augsburg and Ulm are nearby if you need a culture/ museum break.

We spent lovely 2days here, great experience for us, adults and our kids. We had lovely weather, so a lot of people arrived, and some attractions were crowded, and we had to wait. Luckily it was just occasionally. Plus was Halloween decorations and products that can bring home🎃🎃 Thank you, will come again.

Great place for young kids . We spent one day there , 2 would have been better as we didn’t see everything. Very reasonable as once you pay all the rides are free . Ideal kids age 5-12.

An absolute dream holiday location for my family and I. My son and daughter loved it, the rides were great, food was good and queues were decent. Staff were very friendly, parking wasn't an issue and having Peppa Pig Park right next door made it ideal for my 2 year old daughter too! It was also great fun for my wife and I. Unforgettable memories were made and we cannot wait to visit once again!

If you or your kids like LEGO then you must visit, the place is huge and there are a lot of activities for all ages. To really cover it you need at least 2 days to get on most of the rides. The only downside is the large ques that form so you don't like to wait a lot then maybe pay more for the express pass. You can also get tickets online for both the park and the parking which I recommend to save some time.

The decorations were wonderful, and the optical illusions on the ceiling were so impressive that I could have mistaken them for real sculptors. I took a guided tour in English, and they explained every detail, which was very educational. Towards the end of the tour, there were photos of the building that were devastated during World War II, and I was impressed by how well it had been restored.

We spent some time in the gardens of the Residenz which you can do at no cost. The place is neatly maintained and you can get stunning views of the huge baroque palace. There's also parking on the other side of the building as well as a free public toilet nearby.

This is a beautiful place to visit. The opulence is almost overwhelming. It was a little warm inside but not unbearable. The gardens are INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend, very walkable.

This is a unesco world heritage site. Very well maintained especially given that it was damaged during the second world war. The key highlights are the glass room, ceiling art and the gardens. The total visit time would be 2-3 hrs. Do spend time in the gardens. The rooms can feel repetitive after a while with the same greek themed tapestries

Every nice church. This church has the tallest tower in the world. You can pay 7 Euros and walk all the way to the top. Please ensure that you are semi fit....it is a long and winding staircase of over 750 steps. But the view is worth it. They are currently doing some restorations to the church so please bear with the noise.

Ulm Minster is breathtaking both inside and out. The Gothic architecture is incredibly detailed, and the interior is full of history — especially the 15th-century choir stalls with their intricate wood carvings. The highlight, of course, is climbing the tallest church spire in the world. It’s 768 steps up a narrow staircase, but the panoramic view over the city and, on clear days, even the Alps, makes it worth every step. Inside, the atmosphere is peaceful and bright, with beautiful stained-glass windows and an impressive organ. The Münsterplatz around the church is also lively, with cafés and markets (the Christmas market here is fantastic). Be prepared: the tower climb is steep and not for everyone, but if you can manage it, it’s unforgettable. Overall, Ulm Minster is one of Germany’s greatest landmarks. Highly recommended!

It’s very easy to reach, just a short and pleasant walk from Ulm’s main train station through the charming old town. When I visited, there was some ongoing renovation work, with padding and scaffolding around the front and upper sections, which did slightly spoil the full view of the façade. However, the minor distraction did not take away from the overall experience — once you step inside, the atmosphere completely changes. The city’s noise fades away, replaced by a deep sense of peace and stillness. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a quiet moment of reflection, Ulm Minster is a beautiful and easily accessible place to visit.

It was a unique experience from my side. After having parked the car, we entered to the museum and took the elevator to the top floor where you are going to start your journey. From classic cars to classic sport cars and from recent road stars to formula cars. I mean simply amazing. The most important thing to do in the city.

Such a cool experience to be able to go here, loved the interactive bits but the story telling could’ve been done better for Ferdinand Porsche’s life. Coming from my time in the Mercedes Benz museum down the road which did their story telling impeccably. Definitely go here though, would highly reccommend if you like looking at high horsepower monsters and multi million euro cars!

Very nice museum with a really big collection of … Porsche’s of course, what else?! It talks about the really fascinating history, the ups, the downs, the successes, the what ever you want to know about this magnificent sports performance vehicles. It’s a must visit in stuttgart!

Car enthusiasts will love it. The museum will give you a diving in the history of Germany and automobiles. The visit starts at the visitor center going up to the 8th floor down. There’s parking on the streets nearby and some parking nearby the museum. Parking garage is also available nearby. Tickets may be bought online or in person. It is kids friendly and wheelchair accessible. There’s a souvenir store, a restaurant and more downstairs from the visitor center.

A must see for car enthusiasts and history lovers. The museum is nicely laid and and takes you through the history of Porsche from the early days to modern day. Go early to avoid crowds. A fantastic experience overall.

The Porsche Museum is absolutely incredible and a must-visit for anyone who loves the Porsche brand. The collection is stunning, with so many iconic cars from throughout Porsche’s history displayed in a beautifully curated space. From groundbreaking race cars to legendary road cars, every exhibit highlights the brand’s innovation and engineering excellence. My personal favorites were the Nurburgring record-breaking 919 Evo, which is breathtaking to see up close, and the Carrera GT, a true masterpiece of design and performance. The museum perfectly captures what makes Porsche special, and it’s well worth the trip for any automotive enthusiast.

This is a very nice museum. Lots of Porsche history is shown, special versions and good explanations via a mobile device with headset. I must admit that i only used it at the beginning, because some explanations are giving allot of info.you can also walk by and read the text.

Everyone who visits Frankfurt is a must do attraction for the city and other attractions are nearby as well. Overall it’s a good location for Photo.

A nice old place where you can enjoy the architecture, people, coffeeshops. In the heart of the old town of frankfurt, the place is very nice and worth a walk.

It’s amazing here, many walking tours also start at this point. This is like a prime touristy spot. Many souvenir are also around and restaurant with various different culture and countries are available. There is also a shopping mall nearby on walking distance. I suggest anyone visiting Frankfurt to visit here

Beautiful historical site. The Romer still stands in Frankfurt in all its majesty. This medieval building is perhaps the city's most important landmark. In the past it was regarded as the most beautiful square in Germany. Now it is a very popular square and a very good spot for photographs. Romer is the seat of the Frankfurt city administration. There was a sizable crowd there when we went to it. There was also some preparations going on for an upcoming national event.

The Römer is absolutely stunning - a must-see when visiting Frankfurt! The old town square around it is full of charm, with half-timbered houses, cafés, and plenty of photo spots. You really get a feel for the city’s history here. It’s especially nice in the evening when the lights come on, and during the Christmas market it looks magical. Easy to reach by foot or public transport, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. A perfect place to start exploring Frankfurt!

Frankfurt’s Old Town is a charming area of timber-framed houses, cobblestone streets, and the historic Römerberg square — one of the most picturesque spots in the city.

Very crowded all the time of the day. There are trains to all parts of Europe from this central station. The station is quite big and it is decently maintained. The trains I took from here were all on time. Even the S bahn can be taken from this station only

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is a huge, bustling station with stunning old architecture blended with modern design. It’s well-connected with trains to all of Germany and Europe, and offers plenty of shops, cafés, and food options. It can get crowded and the area outside feels a bit rough at night, but overall it’s an efficient and impressive travel hub.

Historic beautiful station, it is very busy with 30+ railway tracks. You can buy souvenirs even late night at the railway station

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof is a major transportation hub and offers excellent connectivity, quick links to regional trains, long‑distance services, suburban S‑/U‑Bahn lines, and a large selection of food outlets and shops. According to recent rankings it even borders on being one of Europe’s better large stations. On the flip side, the station and especially its surrounding district have mixed reviews: many passengers mention crowding, hygiene issues (including unpleasant odours in some areas), and a part of the neighbourhood that feels somewhat rough after dark. Several sections have been carefully restored, while others are intentionally kept as ruins, which adds to its atmosphere. You can visit a fascinating pharmacy laboratory museum inside, though access to the other interior areas is unfortunately restricted. The grounds include an enormous garden and provide breathtaking views of the city. Entrance fee is 11,00 € for adults. Walking through the castle and soaking up its centuries-old history was an unforgettable experience.

Very beautiful view over the whole city including the hills, the river, and a breathtaking sunset in the horizon. The garden is sooo big and “instagrammable” with many spots for selfies and photos. The castle is not big but has a beautiful winery, restaurant, small museum, beautiful facade, but most importantly an amazing high terrace overlooking the city. The tickets include a ride on the cable tramway taking you all the way to the tip of the mountain. A beautiful ride and nice view.

Absolutely beautiful place! The views over Heidelberg are stunning, and the castle itself is full of history and charm. Great mix of ruins and restored areas, with lots to explore. A must-see if you’re in the area! The bergbahn is really close by too if you have tickets to go back into altstadt

This castle truly has a mystic vibe to it! The red-brick theme, and the fact that its in ruins but still very well maintained adds to its appeal. Highly recommend visiting in fall/autumn as it looks super aesthetic with the green-yellow-red-brown leaves all around the magnificent castle! We didn't go inside but just taking a stroll around it and outside was super beautiful and makes for a good outing in Heidelberg!

Visiting Heidelberg Castle felt like stepping into a storybook. The walk up is a bit steep, but completely worth it for the stunning views over the city and the Neckar River. The castle itself has a beautiful mix of grandeur and ruin, which gives it so much character and history. I especially enjoyed wandering through the gardens and taking in the scenery. My recommendation is to take your time and just enjoy the atmosphere as well as to go before the sunset. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommend 👌👌👌 Heidelberg Castle is absolutely worth a visit! The views over the city and river are breathtaking, and the mix of old architecture and history makes it special. Don’t miss the giant wine barrel or the Pharmacy Museum. Go at sunset for amazing photos. The only problem is parking especially on the weekends, this place is crowded with visitors.

I didnt go into the palace(entrancee fee was around 20EUR) but it was so beautiful even only outside. I saw the panoramic view to the city. It was perfect.

Beautiful cathedral. Lovely garden area as you come in. I was in a bit of a hurry so I was not able to figure out how to climb the tower but I hope I can come back sometime and try. Crypt was neat to see. Fun murals of gospel scenes above the clerestory level along the nave. Some interesting sid chapels to include one of the more vibrant colored crucifixion paintings I've seen in a cathedral.

I really like the cathedral — it’s even more beautiful than the one in Speyer. I adore the red stones and the many towers. It’s so happily situated within the rest of the city. I felt very happy in these surroundings.

The cathedral is beautiful. I came here on a Thursday afternoon and there was no wait at all and there was minimal people inside. Be careful if there is a service happening and be respectful of the space if so. There is a museum but I didn't go inside there. The architecture in the cathedral is worth the visit to come see. Be aware that as of may 2025 there is major construction happening on the outside of the cathedral so it is covered in scaffolding. Its free to enter the church but donations are welcome. Be prepared to translate most of the signage if you do not speak German. There is a wheelchair ramp going into the main section of the cathedral and the main cathedral floor is flat but all of the side rooms and passageways have steps and are not handicap accessible.

Wonderful cable car ride from Rudesheim, views of vineyards and surrounding countryside, very peaceful but a bit chilly in the wind. A short walk to the monument, bit of a hill, but worth it. Amazing views of the Rhine and all around, the monument is massive, really impressive and the history (to read on placards) is very interesting. Nice little outdoor takeaway for drinks and snacks, note.. you pay a deposit for proper cups. Restaurant as well but didn't use it. A place well worth seeing!!

We had a good tour up here, we got the ring tickets which included cable car through the vineyard , chairlift and boat back. The view at the monument is beautiful totally worth it and the hike through the forest to the chairlift is good too.

Impressive monument, fun to ride the gondola up there. There is a little restaurant up there. Impressive views! It's worth going up to see. If the weather is good, it is a nice day. We had poor weather so we didn't stay long. You can ride the gondola down (keep your ticket) or walk down through the vineyards.

We visited on a weekend in summer holidays. Took Cable Car to top of the hill. Waiting was around 45 mins. There is also a hiking path. You can either buy cable cat tickets one way or for round trip. Hike trial takes around 90 mins One can also directly visit the spot by car. To enjoy the view cable car is more recommended.

Great and large statue with huge area for people to stand, sit, walk by and eat/drink at the numerous food stalls in the vicinity. Nice place and area beside the Moselle (Mosel) river flowing into the Rhine river. Koblenz is very nice river city in Germany not very far from Border city Trier or the country Luxembourg by train.

It is a real wonderful scene The River divides into two branches with the mountains and Cable cars along with the flags around you I loved the place , great for taking pictures

If you are visiting Koblenz, this is a must-see place. It's in all honesty nothing that spectacular. The monument (covered elsewhere) is, but this is just a lovely bit of space, made extra special as it's the confluence of the two rivers. Just take time to appreciate the views of the water, the castle, and of course the (spectacular) monument.

It's worth visiting. You can see the colour difference of Rein and Mossel coming together at this place, go with a cable car to the fortress (a lot of expositions included in the entrance ticket. The view of Koblenz from the fortress is very nice.

Sixty-three steps to climb to the highest point of this humongous monument to Whilelm 1, which was much bigger than I thought it would be, situated at the land jutting into the confluence of the Rhein & Mosel Rivers. Not too crowded if you have patience you may get nice photos of the cathedral. In side there is clock and its make bell on specific time.

The overall experience is good but was busy. So many people always in the way. The history of it being built was very interesting. It's amazing that structures can remain in the same location basically untouched for such a long time. The clock in the back is a highlight that you don't see in any other churches.

On a foggy morning in November we o pop aid a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg. We missed the morning opening time so we made sure we were standing in line for the afternoon opening hours. The queue, although long, moved quickly, and once inside we could see all of the stained glass windows and the mechanical clock in the far corner. We were there when the clock struck one o’clock - so not much movement on the animated figures at the top of the clock! The cathedral is worth a visit - even in winter!

We came for the Luminous exhibition in the evening. It was very beautiful, colorful and joyful with the show and the music in the background also was so beautiful. If you come for the show better come at least 20 minutes early to pick up the good seat. Totally recommend the show !

Lovely chapel at the top of a mountain. The view on sunny days is incredible, you can see as far as Strasbourg. Lots of pretty buildings to visit and learn about, the place oozes history. The café is very good, and for adventurers, take the path down to the natural water source. You can even drink the water, so fill your bottles before going for a walk!

Scenic beautiful castle on the top of a hill by the river just like in a fairytale. You only can visit inside the castle following a guided tour, you can buy the ticket at the souvernir shop at the gate. I'm very grateful that this castle is dog friendly so we all can join the tour together. The tour is about 45 minutes and in German, the tour guide handed out printed script for other languages before the tour started, but you can always ask him question in English. The castle was built in 11th century but was destroyed, then rebuilt in 19th century in Neo-Gothic style. The interior is Neo-Renaissance and Neo-Baroque style with many interesting decorations stuffs. The tour guide told some interesting about languages, why we call something as it is. The view from the castle is magnificent

Delightful, Incredible views. Enjoyable food in restaurant, but extremely busy. Recommend going on the tour inside the castle. A Lovely well-spoken young lady and most fascinating and spectacular views and history of the castle. A Absolute must for any tourist.

Wonderful mix of history and culture. It is truly beautiful! The only downside is that there’s no parking on-site — you have to park about 10–15 minutes away. It was quite a challenge with young children because of the long walk.

We visited the castle on a Sunday, it wasn't crowded. We parked the car (at our own risk) at the school below the castle. We paid 10€ for the castle tour ticket and waited 15 minutes for the guided tour. An interesting day, full of historical information.

Love this place. I visited in the month of October , fall season added to the beauty of this place. The promenade and shops around it make the experience lively and full of warmth. In the market town you can have a taste of seasonal Federwein/ Federweißer and other forms were also available.Took guided tour to the castle which is not so far from the bahnhof (train station). There is also option to hike to the castle or go by bus.

A Nice place to visit with friends. I was new in this place but I can find my way easily with the help of google map, or just go with the flow where people are heading. You can walk to the castle or you can ride the local bus. There is also a restaurant near the base of the castle where I order an Eisschokolade which is very delicious.

We went there for a day trip. This is one of if not the nicest animal park I have ever seen. It is spaceaus and beutiful for people and animals. The areas are very well looked after and tastefully created and decorated. Everywhere you look you see someone with true ability and style takes care of this. No kitch no nonsense- just a beatiful large park with a farm and some animals in it. Very nice playground for childre too. The only negative I can say- they need to change their catering partners or make them do better job. I am yet to see at least average level of quality from Eurest anywhere but the main restaurant food is really very low quality and very overpriced for what you get. It looks sad and unloved. It's really a big contrast between the restaurant and the rest of the park. So pack your snacks and avoid the panoramic restaurant if you go there. The soup serving place next to the playground looked a little better though. But we only had coffee and ice cream there so I don't know about the food. Nevertheless- for us it was more than 2 hour drive but it was totally worth it! Higly recommended, especially if you love animals and prefer to see them closer to their natural habitat instead of being placed into display boxes.

Amazing place, we've got the tree house, next to the wolves. Activities are super fun and engaging. Restaurants are both good. Staff is really prepared and enthusiastic.

Stayed here two nights with my son. We had lodge 14 with a view of the black bears. The park is well located and you can tell that they go out of thier way to organize activities so that everyone can enjoy thier visit. The animals are really well taken care of. I recommend the train ride as you learn a lot about the animals. We also did the soigneur du jour option biodiversité, but I don't think it was worth it for the price. However my son enjoyed it so I was happy. Breakfast and dinner is included if you are staying the night. This should probably in the future become a paid option (thus lowering the prices of the stay) because the food offered was really not that good at all and I am far from being picky food wise. We ate elsewhere the second night and breakfast we skipped all together. Otherwise, I would definitely visit and sleep there again but would love to not have to pay for food that I probably won't even like.

What a great day out. Lots of different animals, all in amazing enclosures, giving them space to roam as they might in the wild. Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend.

This place is amazing! We came here from Les Trois Forets for a visit and it is fantastic. Probably mt favourite zoo / animal park that I have ever visited. It is really big, so plan to spend the whole day here. The animals have such large enclosures, it's more like a nature reserve than a zoo. Absolutely brilliant day out, definitely recommend.

Wow wow wow... We know the parc and the animals ... Just a great experience every time. We slept with the Bears last time and it was great. This time, as big birthday present for my daughter we stayed in the jack London lodge and omg.. The weather was not so favourable, but who to blame.. so we went to the lodge as soon. As we could to also take advantage of the jacuzzi... The wolves did a great show in front of the window.. the lodge is just wow.. only the food could have been a bit better... Dinner that us. Breakfast was excellent Just an amazing experience... Not cheep but wow...

It's a strange thing to find such Intact and extensive Roman ruins so far north in Europe! In many ways this building is better preserved than some of the buildings in Rome itself. Very informative interpretation, reasonably priced and presenting good views of the city!

Excellent landmark to visit in the middle of the delightful town of Trier. Museum offers a unique insight into local Roman and political history. Limited public conveniences and places to rest do reduce overall enjoyment, however there's many café options and restaurants nearby.

Amazing site to see - not often you csn see Roman ruins from the 2nd century. Built from huge sandstone blocks, some weighing 6 tons - without modern machinery. The only one of the 4 original gates still standing, it was spared because it was used as a church. Massive structure in the center of town that should inspire awe. A remnant of a different age, when the Roman Empire ruled much of Europe.

I visited on a Tuesday late afternoon at around 1600. It is a very well preserved Roman building, where you could enter and walk up to the third floor of the building for a ticket of €5 (Student ticket). The explanation on the history of this building was very detailed and informative. 1 hour is well sufficient for a detailed visit for this landmark and learning its history. Overall, it is a fantastic experience to learn about the history of this area and I would definitely recommend people to visit.

These were Roman ruins in Germany. The are very well preserved to be 2,000 years old. A very nice little town

Very beautiful and crazy to believe this is one the few structures that remains within Roman time period. Trier was the capital of the Roman empire and you can easily imagine how everything was walking through those arches.

Excellent castle to visit, very reasonably priced including the cafe. Although there were a reasonable number of visitors following the route around the inside of the castle, the visitor centre (located through the gift shop) was empty. This contains exhibits and a film presentation of the development of the castle over it's life span. The graphics on the film presentation are excellent. If you visit the castle, please don't miss out on the visitor centre.

I visited on Monday in the morning at 1030. Overall, it provided details regarding the history of the castle, but most required you to scan a QR code to read on your phone. An audio guide was available as well for €2 if needed. The castle was well preserved and provided a nice view of Vianden. A student ticket was €7. A visit of 1 hour should be sufficient, maximum 2 hours for a more detailed exploration of the castle and its history.

€13 for adults or €7 for students. It’s a beautiful redeveloped castle. In my opinion the most picturesque in luxembourg. From the top you can overlook the quaint town and mountainous landscape, even seeing into germany. They also offer audio tours for €2 and there is a cafe where you can get sandwiches and drinks for not too badly priced. The gift shop does your classic souvenirs at about the same price as the other souvenir places. There is also a nice stamp you can use on your postcards. The castle is not too steep of a walk up to either so is accessible for all.

Good place to visit for those who love the history. Well restored castle with some entertainment. They have schedule for traditional dance, sword fighting and something else. Also they had a market with hand made staff right inside of the castle. There are some historical artefacts. Lots of stairs. However there is an elevator in the one of the towers.

It ok, quite expensive for a few casements. Most the views are either obscured or the same as the last casement, you visited. I don’t think it’s worth €10 and adult. Don’t get me wrong, it’s an impressive feat of workmanship but you don’t really need to go inside to see them. Take photos from the top and the battlements on the bridge instead.

I visited Casemates du Bock and honestly, it was an amazing experience! The underground tunnels are full of history and mystery — it feels like stepping back in time. The view from the top is breathtaking, especially overlooking Luxembourg City. The place is well maintained and easy to explore. I’d really recommend visiting in the morning when it’s less crowded. Perfect spot for history lovers and photographers. Truly one of the most unique and memorable places in Luxembourg😍😍😍

Nice caves in the cliffs -There was only 1 person in line when i got here around 5 pm. -You get a map of the cave, but its pretty simple, you walk down looking at the rooms/lookouts, there is a few cannons, a well. -On the way out you cross the gate bridge on the inside level

The tour also offers other languages but do check and reserve your spot in advance as they do not open tours every hour/every day. The guided tour gave a lot of important information about the history of the Casemates, but also the city and urban planning in general. There were hardly any text printed out for visitors to read if you enter without any audio guide/tour guide. Therefore, remember to collect an pamphlet before entering the site if you want to know more about the history of the site. If you want to have more flexibility in exploring and taking photos at the site, I would suggest to explore on your own pace instead of joining the guided tour.

Going around the Casemates was amazing. Our tour guide was absolutely outstanding. Really do recommend paying the extra €8 and getting a tour because they are full of historic information about the history of the Casemates as well as some of the history about Luxembourg itself had a fantastic time took a roundabout about an hour and 15 minutes but it’s well worth a visit!

We were able to buy tickets when we arrived, which was convenient. Students can get tickets for €8 and I was not asked to show any ID. There is very minimal signage and none of it is in English, but they provide a pamphlet in multiple languages with helpful information. The views of the city are great and you get to see everything from a completely different angle than you would from the street. I am directionally challenged and got turned around a couple of times, but it was still easy to find the way out. I am 160 cm and did not feel like the space was small, but my friend who is 170 cm had to watch her head in a few spots. If you are taller than 180 cm, some areas may feel low and not very comfortable to move through. Overall, it was worth the visit.

A Weekend Well Spent in Luxembourg! Classmates Luxembourg was an absolute delight! We were lucky with the weather, which made our visit even better. We spent hours walking around, exploring the stunning views from various angles, and truly soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. We drove there by car and had no trouble finding parking—plenty of space, no waiting, and reasonably priced. The area is well-equipped with restaurants and food stalls, perfect for grabbing a quick bite on the go. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend escape. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some breathtaking scenery!

One of the most amazing cathedrals in France! When you stand in front of Metz Cathedral, you feel small and full of wonder. The golden stone shines in the sun, and the tall towers seem to touch the sky. Inside, the light is mystical. The stained-glass windows are not only from the Middle Ages but also modern, even by Chagall. They make the walls look alive with colors. It has the highest nave in France (41 meters), higher than Notre-Dame in Paris. It is called the “Lantern of God” because of more than 6,000 m² of stained glass.People say that at sunset, the golden stone creates an atmosphere that feels almost supernatural. This place is not just history. It is an experience. If you visit Metz, you cannot miss it.

Walking into Metz Cathedral - if you’re not exactly used to walking into thousand year old cathedrals - will leave you speechless, overwhelmed, and possibly teary eyed. It’s an astonishing edifice and on a sunny day the interior dances and glimmers with light and colour from the 1000s of panes of glass. You also have to appreciate and respect that this building is in active and daily use, so please - please - remain silent as you slowly wander the perimeter to marvel at the wonder of just how this building came to be, and the architectural miracle it is.

We visited the Metz Cathedral with a specific goal — to see the stained glass windows created by Marc Chagall, since Chagall was our compatriot, also from Belarus. The cathedral itself is magnificent, and the stained glass windows are absolutely mesmerizing. The light filtering through the colorful glass creates a magical effect — the patterns and colors evoke feelings that are simply beyond words. We couldn’t imagine anything that could make the experience even better, but while we were there, an organ concert began, and it turned the visit into something truly unforgettable. The combination of the music, the stained glass, and the atmosphere was enchanting. Since it all happened during the Christmas markets and holiday season, it became one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring experiences we’ve ever had.

Incredible cathedral in size, artistry, detail, and use of colors! Huge volume of space under immensely high ceilings and arches! Photos and video really don't do it justice.. The audio echoes and booms here. The richness of the murals, paintings, stained glass, and sculptures are mind-blowing! Definitely a must-see! No entrance fee, though parking is not free and space is limited. Public restrooms are across the street and are free, though not very clean; while there are urinals, there are no toilets, just holes in the ground.

It is very beautiful from the outside, but much more beautiful inside! This is one of the tallest, most beautiful and majestic cathedrals I have ever seen. If not the most! Its stained glass windows are simply incomparable. In such a place you feel some elusive magic, especially with the sounds of the organ.

Very nice zoo. A lot of different cats species, which i love. There are two shows, birds of prey and sea lions. Both are good, especially the birds of prey. Free parking is nice. The toilets could be better.

Super place, if weather is ok, and you have children - this is kind of place which you can spent whole day and it will not be enough! I was thinking what are the tickets for 2 days and yearly access to zoo?! And being there for 5h we saw 50% of all attractions prepared for visitors. Bad for Animals but perfect for visitors is that places for animals are not enormous- so you are able to see cats, wolfs, birds and any kind of animals. It’s a balance between safe place and attractions for visitors. HIGLY RECOMMENDED

We had a great experience visiting Zoo Amnéville! There are so many animals to see — lions, tigers, polar bears, rhinos, hippos, and many more. It was amazing to watch them all from such a close distance. This was the first time I’ve seen a lion so close, and it was truly an exciting experience for all of us. We really enjoyed our visit and appreciated how well the animals are cared for. It’s a wonderful place for families and animal lovers — highly recommended!

Amazing zoo, beautiful animals and very touchy. I was hugging a goat at one point lol. I would also touch more animals if I wasn't that scared lmao. 8/10 (wish it was less expensive, for two adults and one child we payed 100 euro, but if they need money to keep the animals healthy then I don't really mind)

The zoo was a delightful experience, offering a diverse array of animals, and our visit lasted approximately five hours. Regrettably, we were unable to observe some of the animals, as they were taking shelter. The animals appeared quite relaxed, possibly due to the warm weather. We were fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the red panda. The Jurassic section proved to be particularly enjoyable for the children. While I cannot comment on the quality of the park's food, as we did not purchase any based on recommendations from friends and other reviews, it is worth noting that some areas of the park could be cleaner, and the presence of standing water in certain locations resulted in an unpleasant odor. Nevertheless, it is certainly a worthwhile destination if you happen to be in the vicinity.

I have an annual pass and it has been such fun to visit the zoo at different times of the year! It’s very kids friendly . Great place to take kids out, short walk or a full-day out. My baby likes observing all the animals. We watched polar bear Henk and Akoia fighting, a vulture trying to open our bag during his performance , kids feeding giraffes leaves, gorillas climbing up the to get bananas, penguins chasing a butterfly… many cherished moments. The staffs are always friendly. Hope there would be more different animations. Will renew the pass definitely.

Great park, a lot of animals. Make sure to take foods with you (especially if you have allergies) because food places closes at 14h. After that only icecream available. It’s better to start as early as possible, as we arrived at 12h at it was just enough time to see everything (we were 4 adults, so we were walking pretty fast everywhere). Animals look pretty looked after, in between areas there are enough benches, rubbish bins, toilets. Would come back again in future.

Really loved it. A mix of French and Polish baroque. The place and the surrounding garden was really friendly. We saw a dancefloor in the middle of the gardens, behind a really nice cafe. All the locals young and old swinging to the music. Magical.

I visited Place Stanislas today and was completely charmed. The golden gates, elegant facades, and lively atmosphere made it feel like walking through a fairytale from the old times. It felt peaceful and inviting I took a break by the Neptune fountain, enjoying the breeze and the sound of water — such a calming moment in the middle of the city. This place isn’t just beautiful; it has soul. I’m truly grateful I got to experience it.

This is an extraordinarily magical place at night and a must-see during the day! Baroque styles Gates and decorations on the buildings make this one of my favorite spots in Nancy! Fun fact: this place, the place de la Carrière and the place d'Alliance are part of the World Heritage Site 💯

Absolutely stunning square and a true gem of Nancy. Place Stanislas is beautifully designed, with elegant 18th-century buildings and golden gates that shine in the sunlight. The atmosphere is lively during the day with cafés and people enjoying the space, and at night the light show on the buildings is magical. A perfect place to stroll, relax, or take photos. Definitely a must-see if you’re visiting Nancy

My favourite amusement park to go with my family with two boys age 4 and 5. Lots of rides for them to go in and enjoy. Maximum lengtu of a lineup for us this day was 15 minutes.

Wow. This is one of the most well run theme parks I‘ve ever been to. It’s on the smaller side, but it offers enough to spend a whole day here. The whole park is very clean, ticket and park food prices are very fair and the ride operations are lightning quick. I unfortunately visited on of the most crowded days of the year, but because this park is so well run, I got everything done including 17 rides on their main attraction Alpina Blitz. I highly recommend a visit, and I‘m excited for their new coaster in 2027.

Nigloland is one of those parks that’s big enough to be exciting, yet small enough to stay cozy and easy to enjoy. It’s clean, nicely kept, and full of charm, perfect for a relaxed family day. There can be queues for the main attractions, but honestly, which park doesn’t have them during school holidays? What I really love is how balanced it feels: not just for little kids or thrill-seeking teens, but great for families with children of all ages. Even toddlers can find something fun to ride. During Halloween, it’s especially atmospheric, colorful, cheerful, and full of small details that make you smile. And by the way, it’s in Champagne, so technically, between rides with the kids, you can still sneak off for a tasting or two. To each their own pleasure. A warm, well-run park. Five stars, happily.

Nigloland is wonderfull blend between a fully fine to be old fashioned theme park for toddlers and older. You got everything for what you pay. It's clean, you have decent lines for all kind of attractions and rollercoasters. Spend a entire day in there. And it was a good surprise. An excellent ratio quality/price. If you plan to stay for a whole week end you should definitely stay at Hotel des pirates. The props are fun, the owners come to visit oftenly the customers. The restaurants has everything you'd like to eat. For starters you can enjoy the garden to take a drink while your kids are playing in the big playground just aside to where you can bask in the late afternoon light in your seat sipping your cocktail ! A nice stay for any family

Such an amazing experience with family, good for the little ones and also very fun for the adults. This is one of the most beautiful and well kept and maintained attraction park I’ve ever been to in my life. You can really tell they keep their maintenance and housekeeping to a really high standard. All staff were also very friendly. The rides are all amazing. The African “safari” on the boat was a highlight. So entertaining. So in awe of what they have created at this park. The gardens are also beautiful, reminds me of the botanic gardens.

Nigloland is really very good. We stayed in the Cabainia cabins and we’ve stayed in the pirates hotel before. We’ve also done Astérix and Disney before and the quality here is much better. The decor, rides, waiting times all great. In particular their team are very nice. They do a very good job.

Historical & Legendary Cathedral This is one of the oldest Cathedrals in the world. It witnessed the crowning of Kings in the Middle Ages and was always an amazing beacon of faith for the Catholic Church. It is currently ongoing a bit of renovation but still looks fabulous. If you come to Reims you will see the Cathedral it is the absolute one and only building you need to see visit. We were also very impressed by the inside the ceilings are so high that they give you this feeling of Grandness- ABSOLUTE must see !

We did the roof tour. Nine euro each and very easy to book on their website. 249 steps with no stopping places so be prepared for a hike. Our tour was in French but he did a little bit in English for us. Some surprises up there which I won't spoil

Notre Dame was the most stunning cathedral that I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. It was beautiful inside and fill with relics and beautiful artworks. It was an awesome experience. If you ever have the chance to see go there do so.
