Easy to find, white sand and some rocks in front of a Cristal clear water. Good also for children as in the first ten meters the sea level is just 30 cm (1 ft) deep. Lovely views and a lot of free space. Parking fee at the entrance is 5€ all day. Highly recommended if you ant to break out of the busy shores.

Spectacular place, which is a "must" to see when passing Arbatax. Rocks are beautiful and breathtaking. If you go, go early, at 9-10am - only few people. Free, no admission, large parking place suitable also for caravans right in front of it. Souvenirs shop near. Some similar red rocks can be found in surrounding too e.g. Lido di Orri. Local boys jump from the to the sea - that's really extreme adventure :-)

Air temperature was high 70s/ low 80s, topping out at about 87 degrees with a few clouds. Clouds came in the afternoon and it rained for half an hour. I got rained on, on the way back. Water temperature was cool but many people swam in the ocean comfortably. I brought my own snorkel mask and enjoyed the variety of fish in the water.

The guided tour in Grotta del Fico was impressive. The cave itself is beautiful, with stunning rock formations and a well-maintained path. However, the tour had a noticeable imbalance in language—while the guide provided detailed explanations in Italian, the English version was significantly shorter. It would have been more enjoyable if the information in both languages were equally detailed. Nonetheless, the experience was worth it, especially for those interested in geology and nature.

Very interesting cave… But with the group of 50 people where tour guide speaks in Italian and English it lasts more than 45 minutes for a tour that shouldn’t take longer than 20min. Temperature inside is 15-18 degrees which can be unpleasant if you are coming wet.

Went to the cave on a stop from our boat tour! Wanted to beat the heat so we went! 10 euros to enter. There are stairs to enter the cave but the view you get is unbelieveable. The tour guided spoke English for us, which was very appreciated. He was very knowledgeable & we learned a lot! Lots of history and things we learned about the island (monk seals, no earthquakes, limestone, etc)! The cave is very well preserved and really interesting. Gets really slippery so careful with those flip flops! Overall, cool learning piece we didn't expect on our boat tour!

I’ve travelled a lot and had never seen something quite this amazing and well preserved. The entrance is beautiful but the treasures inside are amazing. My favorite thing about it is the subterranean river. Though you can’t access everything the place has to offer it’s definitely something worth seeing. Also the temperature offers a break from the hot Sardinian summer. So overall great experience.

This is a must for every tourists going on a boat trip. This is a very well organised place where you will be given mobile phones devices providing information in different languages about the history of the cave. There is about half a kilometre of walking to do inside the cave, the whole tour lasts about 45 minutes and you can go by yourself to explore in your own time.

We were in cruise with mostly Spanish speaking people so for visiting the cave we split for English talking group and Spanish but after this the guide realized that in English group is like few person so we have to just split in half .. our trip took longer cause guide has to talk in 2 languages. Of course is not to see but it's not soo impressive;)

After the tour, we found the hotel-restaurant near the parking area, offering an unforgettable view and serving excellent coffee. It's the perfect spot to reflect on the cave's magnificence and share impressions. Both the cave and the nearby restaurant are absolute must-visits in this region.

Super cool experience! We arrived at opening on a late May day and were able to secure walk-up tickets. It’s probably best to make reservations in advance during the high season as I can imagine tickets are in high demand then. We learned a lot from the helpful guide as well as the plaques that line the entry. It was easy to access by car on the way to Cala Gonone.

Our car was broken into in the parking lot and all of our luggage was stolen. I think the criminals are aware of the cave tour times and looking for rental cars when they know you will be in the cave. Leave NOTHING in your car. The cave tour was great but the loss wasn’t worth it.

We have been to many other caves around the world (USA, New Zealand, Costa Rica) so weren't expecting Grotta di Ispinigoli to be anything special. We were wrong! This cave is truly SPECTACULAR ... the immensity of the room and the enormity of the speleothems is awe inspiring. In addition, the explanations given by our tour guide Christina were exceptionally clear and scientifically accurate. This was one of the highlights of our Sardinia vacation.

Be warned there are criminals here who will steal from your car! We stopped here on route from Cagliari to Cala gonone on holiday. We passed through Orgosolo around midday, between 12 and 1 pm. The streets were almost deserted, giving the town a quiet, timeless feeling. The bright weather and the colorful murals painted across the walls turned this silence into something special. Each mural felt like a story waiting to be discovered. Still, I imagine the town must feel very different in the evening, when life returns to the streets. For a more vibrant experience, visiting later in the day might be the best choice.

Walking through its narrow streets, I was struck by over 150 murals covering the walls vivid depictions of the town’s history, social struggles, and political messages. It’s incredible how art has transformed a place once notorious for banditry into a living, open-air gallery. The history here is fascinating. Orgosolo was once infamous for its bandits and vendettas, yet today you can feel the resilience and spirit of its people in every corner. After exploring, I couldn’t resist the local cuisine. The flavors were exquisite, fresh culurgiones, tender porceddu, and traditional desserts like seadas, all perfectly paired with local Cannonau wine. Eating while soaking in the breathtaking views made the experience even more unforgettable. Orgosolo isn’t just a visit, it’s an experience that stays with you.

Beautiful mountains on the way but a bit of a drive to get there with some very narrow streets. It is like a abandonded city with no life (october).

While it may have been a misstep on our part to visit in November when tourist season is over and there are limited dining options, nonetheless, the murals/ graffiti were fascinating. I would recommend a stop in this quiet little village. But make sure you do it during the season so that you have more options for dining. That being said, we felt that wandering the village and looking at the graffiti reawakened our attachment to our fellow human beings.

Political Art all along the Centro. Not all of them great. The City has not more to offer, but for a nice walk it is worth a short visit.

I did not expect the site to be as expansive as it is. The site is well mapped out with easy to understand explanations. Thr experience is magnificent insofar as you can walk through the halls of the ruined buildings, brush your hands across 3000 year old facades. It's a drive, albeit a beautiful one that is well worth it. Wooden walkways and an accessible restroom for those thst need.

Takže se v řece dá koupat a odpočívat ve vanách ,které lidé vytvořili z kamenů. Po koupeli jsem navštívila zbytky lázní z doby římské. Za vstupné 4 eura můžete ve městě navštívit aragonsky dům.

Perfect if you want to visit and learn about the nuraghe. Parking in front, a bar, toilet, tickets are 6€ pp. There is also a little museum and good information in FR, DE, ENG, IT. I would advise to wear good walkings shoes if you want to go inside the nuraghe and walk on top. Worth the visit and money!

An interesting landmark of nurage with the expected i forms and shapes. Definitely worth a visit. Nothing particularly spectacularly unusual. A nice illustration of what happened in history in the local area.

It's one of the biggest and we'll preserved Nuraghes. The guided visit lasted 1.5 hours. Amazing 😍

I’ve Nuraghe Losa at 5 minutes from my home and is one of my favourite places in Sardinia. It’s really suggestive and well preserved! I really recommend if you want to know about Sardinia’s history and culture!

We visited on a monday. It's such a cool place to visit. In the tickeshop you can buy a lot of informative books on the nuragic civilisation. Plenty of parkspace, nice staff, who speak english well. The park is in a minute walk distance. In the park, there's a nice small museum. The nuraghe is well preserved, and totally worth climbing to its top.

When you enter the dark tall chambers inside, it feels truly ancient and mysterious. Great for children and adults alike to spend 45 mins

Though smaller than some of the biggest nuraghi on the island, Losa nuraghe is still quite big and great to explore, as you are allowed to see every chamber and even climb up on top. Just great!

Nice long beaches, not too crowdy.

This was our closest beach. Compared to others it's nothing special. But it is really long (and connected to the others) so it's rarely very crowded, which is a huge plus, especially in august!! The water is clear but starts with deeper right away. Also it is often windy and it gets seaweed. All in all, we really enjoyed it.

Beach is a bit steep and was always very windy with big waves when we got there so swimming wasn't really possible. Many parking spots for cheap (-,50€/h) available

Nice Sandy beach that runs for kilometers from West to East. Sea is shallow and not deep at all. The more you move towards east the least people you encounter. Towards Isola Rossa is stunning

A lot of space. But when we were there, the water was full of seaweed and there where large waves. Not the best beach for kids as it also gets deep fast.

Very close to road, which has its advantages too, special place with amazing historical sacred well, vaguely reminiscent of ancient Egyptian architecture. The nuaraghe village is also worth a visit

The old water cult site is unique and very interesting! Impressive architecture and a solemn atmosphere when you go down to the well. The church is not that interesting and the Nuraghe is quite small compared to others.

Fascinating archeological site, with a water worship site, an eary Christian church and a Nuragic village. Beautiful place.

Tourist trap. €8 while all the other excellent sites charge €5-6. The family running this place are greedy. We skipped it.

It is a magical place just a few meters from the main road. The entrance is 5€ for an adult and is totally worthy. Apart from the marvelous water well which seems impossible to be built 1200 BC, there is also very impressive nuraghe village with one main tower which can be climbed up to the top. At the entrance there is also a bar with paninis and tobacco

Such a wonderful place! Clean and well kept, both the well and the village. Definitely worth to spend few hours roaming its grounds.

Very interesting historical landmark; we had no idea it could be so cute. It felt like a labyrinth. Very well kept and intriguing. Guided tours and audio guides are recommended.

Quite simply the finest Nuragic site we visited (and we visited five) while in Sardinia. Absolutely fascinating. And the bucolic setting intensifies the mystic effect of the surrounding hills. Well worth a few hours to visit. Also, don't forget to stop by the little restaurant attached to the ticket office for some antipasti and wine. All in all, a beautiful day out.

Loved it! Beautifully preserved and very interesting to read about its history. 10 euro per person entry which we originally thought pricey was well worth it 👌. A self-guided Audio is also included in this price. 😀.

A beautifully preserved Nuraghe in the Logudoro region of Sardinia ( Northwest). The site is well organised for individual or group tours, with a ticket office/souvenir shop, a bar with snacks and hot and cold drinks, and public restrooms. The full price ticket is 8€, which is fair since it goes to the maintenance expenses. You can take a walk all around and inside the Nuraghe, up to the top terrace, which offers an astounding view of the valley. There is no wheelchair nor assisted access to the upper levels, that you can reach by a very steep and tall set of stone steps, so keep this in mind when you visit. There are informative panels all around, to explain the history and architecture of the site.

this one is a small but almost fully intact Nuraghe you can find on the island. the ticket price of 10€ can feel expensive but worth a visit if you are in the area. No guided tours were offered on site according to the receptionist at the ticket counter but I saw a group with a guide speaking in Italian. Probably organised tour group. Self explanatory place and shouldn't take more than 30min.

So funny to see this rock shaped like an elephant, who knew there were elephants in Sardinia. There is some parking for about 10 cars by the side of the road. If you in the area its worth a look.

It's pretty cool for a short stop before Castalsardo. But be careful because sometimes it likes to dance around. 😉🐘

Worth seeing if you’re nearby, but not worth driving many kilometers just for this attraction. However, there are plenty of other sights in the area.

It is unbelivable how the likeness is this rock to an elephant! There was quite some people, but we enjoyed it!

Interesting rocky formation with pre-nuragic tombs. Could be better highlighted with more information / panels and with stricter rules for preservation / protection. Can be quite crowded for such a small POI.

Basilica of the Holy Trinity of Saccargia took us by surprise on our road from Palau to Alghero Airport. We didn.t know about it, but it looked stunning so we had to stop. Visiting it, we found out that is one of the most important romanesque sites in the island, beeing constructed entirely in local stone since 1116. Just wow.

Worth a visit on the way to Sassari. The church is from the 12th century and resembles the Duomo di Sienna in style but with local limestone and basalt instead of marble. Tickets have to be bought got 3€ pP.

Beautifull church, in the "middle of nowhere". Next to the road, if you are going to Alghero from Palau. Next to the church there is a nice restaurant. Recommended stop ✌🏻

A very interesting church featuring remarkable dark and white stone from different outcrops on the island. Inside is a notable fresco that is worth seeing. There is also the ruins of the old convent Entrance is only €3

Amazing architecture, great just to wander around. You can buy tickets at the little shop to enter. We didn't so not sure of the state of the inside.

Nice spot by the road. Be careful, the parking lot is just a hole. We couldn't get inside; it was closed. We practically didn't encounter any tourists here. No tickets were needed.

We visited this place on the route from San Teodoro to Alghero and I must admit that it was worth it. It is one of the most important Romanesque monuments on the island. The structure is entirely made of local stone, with a typical Tuscan Romanesque appearance. Visiting for a small fee inside is possible from April to the end of October. Inside of the church is a small souvenir shop, and a cafe near the parking where we can drink coffee and eat a croissant.

Nice beach but full of rocks, check wind before you go

Had great time, black sand. Left side is calmer and right side is wilder. 🏄🏻‍♂️🌊 The shower is available what is great and you can have a snack in beach bar.

Cute beach with nice cafes and not too many tourists. We had a fun day despite the wind and high waves - on other days it’s perfectly calm!

For scuba diving and snorkeling its perfect. Swimming also great, clean water, some time its windy and it has little waves. For children its perfect as well its isnt deep at all.

Soft sand, pure water, interesting underwater life (highly recommended to take snorkelling mask with you). The only downside - enormous number of people during high season

The sea was very shallow, the beach has thin sand and there was shower very close to the exit.

Do you want an amazing view over Bosa? This is the place! When visiting beautiful Bosa, you should go to the castle on top of the hills – I promise you: the view is worth it! There are some steep stairs, so be aware if you have trouble with stairs. The castle itself isn't the most impressive or well-preserved I've seen, but the view makes it all worth it.

Well worth the walk up for the views of Bosa and out to the sea. The castle itself is ok. It is good to climb the tower and walk on top of the walls. Be warned, the steel steps up the tower are very steep and there are multiple. Be careful m, especially on the way down. The fresco in the church is in good condition and worth a quick visit. The entry fee was 5€.

Nice view over the city. The way up is just wonderful through the city with all the colored houses. The lady at the counter doesn’t speak any English, but no problem. Be careful cause there no restroom anywhere near, so keep that in mind and stop to a restaurant/bar before going up. :)

Must visit when visiting Bosa!!! It costs 5€ to enter the impressive castle. It is on top of the hill of Serravalle, be prepared for a long, steep staircase. It offers a spectacular view of the town and surroundings

Go for the spectacular views of Bosa and surroundings. Take it easy, some steep steps. The audio guide from download at ticket desk is worthwhile, although it goes into a lot of depth.

A visit to the castle has to be the highlight of a visit to Bosa. Parts of the castle have crumbled away, but many parts are still intact and you can walk around the ramparts and even climb to the top of the tallest tower if you have the courage to take on the steep steps!!! The views are breathtaking. Entrance costs a laughable €5. This includes entrance into the Chiesa di Nostra Signora de Sos Regnos Altos in the grounds with its frescoes dating back to the 1300s.

Excellent views in all directions from the castle. The church has some ancient frescos. The almond trees within the castle walls provide lovely shade. Toilets out of order.

Lovely location with access to beaches. Facilities basic but clean. Very busy site pitches are a bit of a free for all. WiFi works well which is a necessity as no mobile signal. Make sure you fill up with water before entering as no drinking water available once you reach the site. Moped or bikes recommend as getting in and out

A very nice and cozy beach . Not so crowdy . You pay €7 for all.day. There is a restaurant bar and pizzeria too. Price.a bit high but nice architecture . There is another beach on the other side side..A pity the weather was a bit overcast.

Can’t fault the beach, sheltered from the wind on a good day. Great snorkelling. Sun set. Bar with aperol spritz. one thing about the restaurant, they charged us for a pizza and when we asked about it half an hour later they claimed we hadn’t ordered… but whatever that’s nothing against the beach. just get receipt if you order something

Very nice sand beach with a pretty view. There is also a Bar/restaurant with friendly service and bathroom. The water was clear and the beach was very clean. You need to pay for the parking but the beach is free. We went by foot from Bosa: 2h walk but on the road so do not recommend for a big group or with kids!

Beautiful 3 beaches. Easy access to water and swimming just superb. It is a paid access beach , full day 7,50 and half day 5 euros. There is restaurant and a shop. No sun beds or umbrellas provided and not much shade so be prepared. The only downside we thought that the parking area is run down. There is some rubbish on the ground and the beach access area needs some maintenance. However, still a very nice area to stay by the sea!

One of my All Fav Awesome Views great Beach it secluded down which it makes it a little more private, Tent Campers and All Facilities available, Casual eating and formal dining as well

Nothing special, just decent beach. Parking is 7€. Crowded during peak season, specially during Ferragosto.

20 Minutes south of Alghero...nice beach to chill after touring the city.....and 13 € for 2 beds and umbrella is unbeaten on Sardinia...in our experience ;)

Lovely place to snorkel...lots of fish to see, even just by standing at the edge of the water! We stayed towards the southern end of the beach, where it wasn't so overcrowded and overwhelming!!

Really beautiful bay surrounded by mountains with a beach restaurant, sun loungers etc. Carpark with paid parking at C80 and hour. Quite wavy but not dangerous. Just south of Alghero.

Nice beach, not very busy. The entrance to the sea was not easy as there were bigger pebbles and there were seaweeds, but once you get past the pebbles, there is white sand and the water is clean.

We parked in the car park at the south end of the beach at 330 and by 5pm someone broke into our rental car( panda) and stole 2 bags from the boots ruining our holiday. Apparently the people who run the kiosk told me is not the first time this happened. Great introduction to Sardenea

Superb sand beach, easy to access and to park when we went there in July-August mosy of the time. A restaurant is located on the beach as well is two snack bars. Really cool location to go with kids.

Just a nice beach free entry. 1 bistro general things nothing special . Parking less then €1 . From Alghero there is bus €1,30 in just 15 min you are there
