Visiting Schilthorn Piz Gloria was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip. The cable car ride itself was an incredible experience, smooth, comfortable, and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. As we ascended, the scenery just kept getting more and more spectacular. At the top, the weather was perfect, which made the whole experience even more magical. The 360° views from Piz Gloria are truly stunning with snow-capped peaks, valleys, and endless mountain ranges that leave you speechless. The Bond-themed touches add a fun and unique twist to the visit, but the natural beauty alone is worth every penny. It’s not just a sightseeing trip, it’s an unforgettable adventure. Between the views, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, I can confidently say this was worth every moment and every cent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Switzerland!

Somewhat pricey to take the gondola up to the top, but it's well worth it for the views. There is a bunch of James Bond history and plaquards. But the views alone are breathtaking. You should fefinitely wait for a clear day, othe you'll just be looking at the fog.

Break taking views! Certain areas were under construction, but it did not take away from our experience. Be sure to walk out to the point and enjoy time in one of the viewing boxes.

Was the filming location of a 007 movie. Granted it is not as high as Jungrafraujoch, but the views are equally fantastic. Highly recommended to make a trip here. There is a rotating restaurant at the tower area also as well that serves very decent buffet lunch.

Great experience. The cable car on the first stretch is supposedly the steepest in the world. Remembered to include the 9 Euro cheese / cold cut option, which is served at the revolving Piz Gloria restaurant. It comes with a drink and there was plenty of food to fill us up. And it tasted good, too. So pretty much a no-brainer. The view from the top was great. Unfortunately clouds descended while we were there and it even started to hail. Which kind of added to the whole experience. Some cool James Bond stuff - check out the bathroom mirrors! Unfortunately quite a lot of construction going on, which detracted from the whole experience. Will still give it 5 stars, but probably more like 4.5 due to construction, high cost and a very unpleasant guy in the ticket booth. Everything else was perfect and definitely an experience. Now back in the US and planning on watching On Her Majesty’s Secret Service tonight 😊

My less-than-ideal rating was solely due to the unfortunate timing of my visit. Otherwise, I would have missed the opportunity to go altogether. It was a heavily overcast day, because of that, I skipped exploring Birg and went straight up to Schilthorn instead. On top of the poor weather, Schilthorn was still under construction. After a quick browse through the gift shop, a short walk around the outdoor deck, and a light snack at the restaurant, it was already time to head back down. I’d have to return someday to truly experience the full beauty of this attraction. Hopefully on a clear day and once the construction is finally complete.

The views are priceless and it's definitely worth it to go! However, be warned that getting around through the construction is extremely difficult. It look 20 minutes to figure out how to go down to the Walk of Fame and the View Lounges. That, for me, was the best part. It's away from the hordes of people fighting to get the best selfie and closer to nature. You can see forever! The best time to go is usually between 15:00-18:00 in the summer (weather permitting) because the clouds tend to lift around that time.

We visited on a bit of an overcast day but the skies cleared and offered spectacular views of Interlaken. We purchased the special ticket offering return trip on the Harder Klum Funicular and a set lunch menu at the Panorama restaurant at the top. Great value. The trip is also wheelchair accessible however you need to locate the back entrance which is further up the road from the main boarding area, on the first side entrance on the left. Well worth the visit.

Absolutely amazing! The funicular is super fun and the views at the top are insane — mountains, lakes, everything. The viewing platform is a must, and the restaurant has great vibes too. Perfect spot for sunset. Don’t miss it if you’re in Interlaken 👍

The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking — definitely one of the best panoramas in Switzerland. The ride up was smooth and easy, and once you get there, the viewing platform makes it feel like you’re floating above Interlaken. We loved taking our time at the top just soaking in the mountains, the lakes, and the fresh air. Such a peaceful and memorable place. Totally worth the trip — highly recommended!

We recently visited Harder Kulm, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Located above the beautiful town of Interlaken, this panoramic viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, lakes, and the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. The journey to the top is an adventure in itself taking a funicular ride from Interlaken up to the summit ( there happens to be a pretty steep hike as well that can take you up there) was smooth, comfortable, and gave us our first taste of the stunning alpine scenery. Once at the top, we were greeted with a 360-degree vista that truly took our breath away. The observation platform is perfect for photos, and we spent quite a while just soaking in the views. We also had a chance to explore the area a little more, with well-maintained paths leading to even more scenic spots around the summit. One of the highlights was the viewing platform's ( also referred to as the two lakes bridge as you get to see the Thun and Brienz lakes) glass floor.Stepping out onto it felt like flying over the town of Interlaken, and it was a thrilling experience. For those who are a bit more adventurous, there also are a couple of hikes around ( one’s simple the other being a challenging strenuous hike) where you can feel completely surrounded by nature and mountains. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the warm atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day out or an adventure in the mountains, Harder Kulm delivers both in spades. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and it's definitely worth the visit!

Fun steep ride up to the view point. Unfortunately the weather fogged up and stares to rain. We took some quick pictures and headed back to beat the crowds on the return trip. This was included in our travel pass so we figured we'd check it out no matter the weather.

After a short funicular ride, the view from top of Harder Kulm was fantastic, even on a semi-cloudy day. I really enjoyed the visit.

Old Town Bern is picturesque both in the day and night. Can take Bus 12 from main square to Bear Park and return. If you stay in hotel, can get activation code for free bus ride in Bernapp. Else, can park at Casino car park but it's expensive.

Visiting the Zytglogge was a highlight of my trip to Bern. This 13th-century clock tower is not just a beautiful landmark, it’s a piece of living history. I arrived a few minutes before the hour and was amazed by the mechanical figures and the precise chime—it feels like stepping back in time. The surrounding Old Town streets are charming, full of cafés and little shops, making it a perfect spot to explore after watching the show. Whether you love history, architecture, or just a great photo opportunity, the Zytglogge is a must-see in Bern.

Walking through Bern’s Old Town, I stumbled upon Bim Zytglogge and was instantly charmed. The area around the clock tower feels like a slice of history—cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, and the hourly show of mechanical figures on the astronomical clock. It’s a lively spot, with locals and tourists mingling, and plenty of cafés and shops nearby.

Such a nice Watch tower. Very interesting and of course, full of historical events to tell from it and its city, Bern. Really a great stop-by spot, a must when you'd like to see the spectacle of the watch with its figures moving at 6pm.

Its a big old clock. There is some entertaining bits on the west side every hour but dont expect anything dramatic like a giant cuckoo clock. Pretty cool though for an 800 year old piece of work.

Each corner of this town will make you feel to walking back in time. Such a beautiful place. You can visit the clock tower from inside for 10 chf

Zytglogge (Clock Tower) was built in 1220 as part of Bern’s western gate, becoming a civic clock tower after the city expanded. The astronomical clock was added in 1530 with moving figures such as bears, a jester, and Chronos, which perform each hour.

If you love historic buildings, Bern’s Old City is a must-see. The medieval architecture is stunning, and the streets are beautifully clean and well-organized. Shops are thoughtfully placed, so you can enjoy the views while exploring. A truly charming and unforgettable experience!

In my opinion, Bern's old town is one of the most beautiful and compact in the world. Its specialty is the arcades formed by the old buildings lining the streets. The arcades are lined with shops, restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc. It is worth walking around the old town, also along the banks of the Aare River, and climbing to the Rosengarten to admire the magnificent view of the old town. Every time I visit Bern I feel amazed.

LOVE this pretty place! So historic and colorful, tons of lovely photo spots! Love the iconic fountain and huge clock tower, as well as all the cute trains and buses that came in different shapes and sizes 🚂🚌🇨🇭❤️. Was glad I dropped by Bern - after all it’s the capital of Switzerland, and a must drop by imo, even if it’s for a short day trip! 😆 I was really happy to be here 🥰👍.

A beautiful town, probably the nicest in Switzerland. In the morning it is less crowded and the streets are well conserved. The prices are really high, which makes the costs hardly affordable for foreigners

You are unwinding the clock back 500 years ago to experience the lifestyle in medieval time. The old street (made of sandstones), clock tower, cathedral surrounded by garden and river are breathtaking.

Beautiful and quaint little old town in the capital of Switzerland! I got there early so the streets were rather empty and it was nice taking a slow stroll down this street. The street was lined with familiar brands/shops, the trams ran down both sides and I almost felt like I was transported back to medieval times - except the modern shops bring me back to the present. If you walk further down, you’ll end up at the Bear Pit, another little tourist attraction of Bern.

Saw very good review about this place decided to give it a try. The playground is nice. CAROUSELL is simple but age 130 years old something different. The house that showcase how 200 years ago people living here is quite interesting, but wish there are more English explanation so that we know what we seeing. Many houses we visit is close or no one around at all. If need to pay for ticket I think is not quite worth it. We got cover by Swiss travel pass. The train ride inside is almost non existence because only a few ride a day at selected timing and you can tour around if you want to take train. End up we walk alot and some are not easy path. We were lost half way as this place is huge and limited sign. The map and sign some need sometime to figure out.

it's an amazing journey through time and hand-crafts! there are hundreds of structures guiding you through the places and timea of older switzerland with live demonstration for pottery, rope making, milling and many more! the crafts are well explained and kids & adults are equally in awe! many nifty playgrounds and infrastructure make the experience well rounded. the horse carriage schedule and high prices could be made more pleasant. also more simple info for how such houses were build would be cool.

Absolutely loved every moment of my visit! I had the honor of meeting a leather craftsman who was so kind as to make me a keyring. I chose a Longhorn design, perfect for a Texan. I also met the soup and coffee makers who used original equipment to create delicious, timeless food and drinks. It was truly amazing to watch. As I walked around the open-air museum, I was fascinated by how each house was unique in its own way. There was also a restaurant and a shack selling food and drinks. I could have easily spent the entire day there but unfortunately I had to catch a train and it's time to leave. Highly recommended.

You can spend the best 6 hours here. I am so impressed how well it is done and how big this is. I will come every season. It is definitely worth traveling 5 hours just for this❤️

So much to do and such great value for money. I recommend arriving early to get full value from your visit as you’ll need several hours to explore the various areas of Switzerland that are represented. A beautiful place, friendly staff and an essential stop for a summertime holiday in the Bernese Oberland.

One of the best places in Switzerland to visit with kids. The museum route is charming and very interesting, and the land is huge! We all learned a lot on our visit. Don't hurry, it’s impossible to see it all. One more reason to come back again…

This zoo os great with kids. The surounding are made with so many details in mind, everything is green when you walk around. My kids and I loved it. There is great food stations too, amany animals. Especially the aquarium part is super big and nice too. The only downside, its in the middle of the city of Basel, a little hard to get too.

Love love this place- I went pretty late (4-6pm). Although I skipped the crowds, some of the animals were already in their enclosures (not in exhibit), but it didn’t detract from my joy of being there. Loved the vivarium, farm animals, snow leopard, flamingos, meerkats, and penguins. I would have loved to be able to see the new hippo baby though :(.

Zoo was good for a city zoo. I don't want to spoil it so only posted a miniscule amount of photos. I loved going into the bird house. It had some levels to it so find the elevator or stairs. Spent from just after 9am until 4pm.

It is very convenient. With stroller we could go through the whole Zoo. We were lucky we could see all the animals. They have huge space in the restaurant & also banks everywhere to sit.

A very nice zoo – not too big, not too small. There’s a great variety of animals, and even on rainy days you can enjoy several indoor areas. We always love coming here!

It's a very strange and beautiful place. They let the penguins walk freely in the zoo. However, the path was very clean. The staff there were very kind. Everything was good. I was there for 6 hours and I didn't want to leave at all. It was very enjoyable to be with the animals. I wish they were free in the wild, but the animals are having fun there too. The animals are definitely happy there. I recommend you to go there to enjoy being with nature.

What a lovely zoo- lots to see with a variety of animals. I particularly liked the giraffe enclosure. There was also a lovely coffee shop and gift shop near the entrance.

Definitely worth the visit, the building is beautifully crafted. If you walk behind the building you will have an excellent view overlooking the River. Lots of people were having picnics and relaxing here.

Solo travelers are not allowed to climb the towers, for suicide prevention reasons. You can find another tourist and ask to accompany them, but without the employee seeing this. Don't let them know you are strangers. There's a small fee to climb the towers and it's well worth it. Basel Minster was built between the 11th and 16th centuries in a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles. After the 1356 earthquake, it was significantly rebuilt incorporating Gothic elements such as pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and large stained-glass windows. The cathedral is made of red sandstone and is notable for its two main towers, St. George’s and St. Martin’s, and its patterned tile roof. The Minster served as the Catholic cathedral until the Reformation in 1529, after which it became a Reformed Protestant church. The Gallus Gate at Basel Minster is the oldest Romanesque figure portal in the German-speaking world, built around 1185. In the tympanum is Christ as Judge of the World, accompanied by Peter and a donor figure, while the lintel below shows the Parable of the Ten Virgins. During the Reformation in Basel (1529), iconoclasm took place at Basel Minster as part of the city’s shift from Catholicism to Protestantism. Religious images, statues, and altars that were seen as idolatrous were removed or destroyed. The interior today remains relatively bare compared to its original medieval design.

It was originally built in the 1000’s as a Roman Catholic Cathedral and became a Protestant church. There’s no fee to get in the church but there’s a fee to go up the top. Behind the church is the Rhine River.

Don’t miss the chance to reach the top of the church. While climbing, it might seem like you’ve reached the end, but be sure to check—there’s a good chance there’s a way to go even higher."

Had a free walk around then spotted people paying to go up the towers. We tried this for a small charge and it's well worth the steep steps to go to the 3 levels available. Bit tight at times depending on how many people go up but numbers are controlled.

A very beautiful and nice cathedral! You can have an amazing view over Basel from the top!

Basel Minster is absolutely worth a visit! I’ve climbed several church towers across Switzerland, but this one had the narrowest spire staircase I’ve ever squeezed through! It’s a bit of a tight spiral toward the top, but that only adds to the adventure. Once you reach the viewing platform, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of Basel, the Rhine, and even into France and Germany on a clear day. The cathedral itself is beautifully maintained, with intricate stonework and a peaceful courtyard. It’s a perfect mix of charm, challenge, and postcard-worthy scenery. Don’t miss it!

Great museum. Arrive promptly at opening as it requires a full day to see everything on offer. A few exhibits could use better lighting. Staff very helpful. Not only ordered a taxi but came out with me to make sure I got it. A designated taxi pickup area would be helpful. Lunch at the hotel restaurant very good with friendly staff. White storks everywhere!

Great museum to travel back in time and learn a lot of things. There is a small town of houses, stables, towers, shops, bridges, gates, etc, that are open and nicely enriched with multiple related items, each presenting different but interesting info from an era long gone. There are multiple activities to follow like domestic animals feeding, grape juice production and tasting, stable visit, wine tasting, hand crafts etc. There are restaurants and hotel options as well inside this old town. The parking just outside is free of charge, abundant and shaded. You need to visit the earliest possible because the place is quite big to explore and includes a lot of activities to follow and it is very interesting place for both kids and adults. So, you need plenty of time to see even half of what is offered within one day unless you start very early.

Very nice experience within the museum.It was Walpurgia's Day and were different interesting events there. And also..inside the museum you can learn how to make the alsacian bow that women used to wear in the ~1900

This is a great place to visit if you find yourself in the area. Not expensive and you can walk around at your own pace to see how they used to live in simpler times. It's a 'living museum' so there are people dressed in appropriate costume going about their trades. You can see a working forge, carpenters, and old school with teachers etc. The buildings ar from different time periods and have been dismantled and painstakingly reassembled on site. Really authentic and fascinating to see how housing progressed. I would highly recommend a visit. All outdoors so take a coat!

A wonderful place to visit. I would go off season as this is not a place you want to visit with crowds of people. The houses are small and do not accommodate many people at a time. We spent about 2.5 hours on our visit. Free parking. Lots of walking. Note, we visited in October and the restaurants were closed.

Interesting place to visit seeing old buildings of the area. My ancestry on my Dad's side is from Alsace so I had to see this musee, glad I stopped. Don't miss going to the Tavern on site. Good food and good service!

Súper cute place with animals and a vegetable garden! It’s a great place to go with children, and you can bring your dog too! Everyone working there was really nice, the place is very clean and very well taken care of, parking is no problem and you have a picnic area to have your lunch in nature. Highly recommend it!

It’s a nice little park, suitable for smaller kids. Half of the attractions though are open only at certain time of the day which happens to be the same for all (13:00 or 14:00h) and even if you’re there on time you still may not get a spot. I’d also advise you to bring your own food and water as the service in the restaurants is dreadfully slow. I’ve never seen angry like this in my life and I’ve visited a lot of theme parks. Also- the coffee is really bad.

Absolutely brilliant for smaller kids 18-6/7. My 2.5 year old (96 cm talk) lived it. Usually the offer is for older kids but here we can really enjoy with smaller kids too. Well regulated and controlled for the size and security for kids overall. Walkable and oversee able. Also great that they allow to bring in your own water and snacks for the kid, as usually the snacks for kids at parks are terrible ( pint for improvement … how about a healthy bar for kids). The only thing I would wish for is for more supervision at the jumping castle for the ‘small ones’. That was quite the trauma experience for my daughter. You should have supervision HERE as you have in other spaces. Bigger kids entered, too many kids at ones…. If you fix that I would give you many more stars.

Great amusement park for kids under 10! It's big enough to keep them entertained for a day, small enough not to overwhelm them either. I'd say the same for the attractions. My kids are 4 and 6, and they got to do all the attractions (and adult has to sit by each children under 130cm) without being scared! The only downside is the food.. expensive for the quantity and quality (pack your own!)

An amazing parc for families. Everything was excellent; attractions, food, safety and organisation.

Visited this nice and small but amazing park just a few days ago on 24th July 2024. Really liked ALL the rides that were there, and even the old plane (which was an Antonov 2 from Russia I believe) that was on display next to the log water ride. The park was a little bit busy and cleaniness was a little lacking. You know what, I may come back here one day! 5/5 rating.

We went on a Monday in October and the whole park was just for us. No queues.

This place is in a great location, but is very dirty and has broken doors, broken lights, a broken shower. It is a beautiful home on the outside, and is in a great location but it has been very poorly managed and neglected and it is obvious when you stay there. Great if all you care about is the location, but avoid it if you want to have a decent place to stay.

A "Real Eyeopener"! This compact "old town" area of Southeast Colmar is a place "not to be missed" by visitors! It gets its name due to the "historic houses" built on both sides of the small, meandering, Lauch River.... and the "fairy tale vibe". The area is wonderful to walk around-- and has cobbled streets, colourful "half-timbered" houses, and a "covered market". It can also be seen by boat. It has been awarded by TripAdvisor the esteemed "Certificate of Excellence". It is indeed well worth a visit. It is no wonder that it has been rated as one of the "top of places" to visit/things to do, while in Colmar. It will definitely add to one's memories of the visit. I hope that this Review has been helpful.

Lovely time walking around Home Little Venice there's so much more than the picturesque bridge's to see with a few lovely restaurants along the canal, and little boat trip back and forth . It's only a short walk from here to the indoor market . My recommendations would be early evening when all the lights come on for beautiful pictures .

This place is so beautiful it’s almost hard to believe people used to (and still do) live there. Every nook and cranny hides beautiful facades and picturesque displays of little shops and cafes. I’d recommend this gem over more popular European (and even French) destinations.

Fabulous place, plenty to see around every corner. The market hall was amazing and also there was an artisan fair on the day I visited. However it was difficult to find public toilets as the signage wasn’t clear enough.

This little town is something out of a fairytale! Definitely a Disney snow white feel. The buildings are beautifully decorated, the presentation of the town and the shopping was amazing! A must visit destination for a day trip!

Cute little Barvarian-style village, lots of neat places to shop and eat. The dish of the Alsace area is Tarte flambée (a flat, crispy crusted pizza) and it's available at almost every restaurant here.

Great View from the mountain top, also nicely restored castle. Kind of shows the common French-German history quite well. Nice place to visit. Not the cheapest visit, but definitely worth it.

An amazing place. As an English visitor I was greeted with kindness and plenty of English signs to read. The staff were lovely and the cafe was fantastique!! Well worth the trip and would visit again!! ** Just beware, lots of steps!! ;)

True travel through time as you enter the castle doors. You can feel the deep connection with the Middle Ages and the ways of life in that castle. There is a rich presentation of the rooms and l their decors based on the era. In addition to the unbelievable gorgeous view of the hills around since you are on top of the mountain. A fantastic must-see, in my opinion

As it seems with all restored castles, this one looks real and authentic with reconstruction finished in 1908. I wish the weather was more accommodating at the time of my visit to check out the views of surroundings from the castle walls, but, alas, fog was just getting denser. That added eerie feeling moving the floors and entryways of the castle. Genuinely liked the visit, kind of scored all the marks visiting European castle. Castle has started as a watchtower for Rhine surveillance in 1147 and expanded in to a fortress at the end of 12th century. Fell into disrepair and neglect in 17th century and had its lucky break in 1899 when Kaiser Wilhelm II decided to restore it.

Very cool storybook castle on a hill. It was burned and looted in 1633 rebuilt in 1908 by Wilhelm II. There are W's everywhere for Wilhelm. Many of the weapons in the armory are authentic from the middle ages. The view alone is worth the visit. Rumor has it the art director for Game of Thrones visited for inspiration.

Great day trip from Colmar. Spent 2 hours exploring chateau and enjoyed this activity on November cold day. My recommendation - wear warm clothes. Nice activity!

I think it's one of the best preserved castles I have ever seen. Absolutely worth a visit! The mountain ridge is 757m and the castles defense towers are 65m high. Fantastic panoramic views over Alsace.

A large and very impressive place, with beautiful interior architecture. The main hall is stunning and worth the visit. However, the climb to the top is not particularly special. Once you reach the upper level, you can pay extra to go a bit higher, but it’s unnecessary and not worth the money. The stairs are narrow, making it extremely difficult to pass when people are coming in the opposite direction — the same problem on the way down. You can also see the bell up close, but be aware that the sound is deafening.

Freiburg Cathedral is absolutely beautiful, full of incredible details everywhere you look. The architecture is stunning. Every corner of the cathedral shows amazing craftsmanship. It’s truly a must-see! ✨

It's free to visit no entry fee needed. Loved the tinted glasswork and the atmosphere. Very peaceful as other churches around. What catches the eye is the architecture. Worth a visit.

Cathedral’s history started being Romanesque church around 1200, transitioned to Gothic structure in 1250s (inspired by nearby Strasbourg cathedral) with West Tower being completed in 1330. While the city was heavily bombed in WW2, cathedral survived with minor damage (likely due to being notable landmark for Allied Bombers).

I love visiting Cathedrals! Each city has their own unique church and style and I just love the architectural designs on them! This one was one of my favorites! The interior was just breathtaking and you can tell how much effort went into the design because each statue is so intricate!

I became aware of Freiburger Münster on my first day in Freiburg. It's really hard to miss the sight of it. I visited it on my first night when it was lit up. The enormous size of it and amount of decorative detail left me speechless. One day I noticed that the front entrance was open for visitors, so I took the opportunity. I wasn't prepared for the grandure that awaited me inside. The vast volume of the interior left my mouth hanging open many times as I analyzed the columns and ceilings. I spent alot of time studying the stained glass windows which depict many vivid stories. What's great about the windows is that you absolutely can't experience them the same way from outside. The quality of light inside the cathedral, from the outside light when it hits the windows, is only fit for a structure this caliber. Please, out of respect, obey the signs and dont walk over or through the areas which are clearly marked off. Also, please dont take videos and photo's of the inside, just enjoy the experience of the moment.

This place was awesome. The monkeys just walk around unbothered, the staff are super friendly and we caught it at a time when there were so many sweet babies to see. Be respectful and follow the rules... Some don't, which is unfortunate. These are wild animals not pets.

A very unique experience. The monkeys are uncaged in open areas. It is a very safe atmosphere. There are quite a few staff members monitoring and guiding us through our walk in the park. We are also informed on Do's and Dont's before we enter the park. It was really interesting to see the monkeys up close and they are also well behaved, doing their own thing. Free parking available onsite. There is a cafe/restaurant and a gift shop present here too. The staff are really kind and helpful.

It's a nice activity to do with children. From Selestat train station It's a 10 minute drive. If you don't have a acres, there is a bus (500) that will take you there . The monkeys trail took us around 30 minutes maximum, but outside, there is a cafeteria and a nice picnic area, and a great obstacle trail for kids, and a small playground. Overall our visit was around 3 hours. Beautiful forest. Stroller friendly.

Highly recommend! Lots of monkeys to see in a very beautiful and well kept forest. Aside from the animals there is also a really nice playground for older kids and a separate smaller one for younger kids. The whole family enjoyed it!

Very nice place. The monkeys roam around freely and not aggressive like some other monkey parks or monkey temples we visited before. Staff are very friendly, knowledgable and ready to answer questions in Englisg, German and French. We love the park and would love to come back!

Outstanding camping ay Bankenhoff. You simply will not find a better campsite in Europe for amenities. 3 washing machines, 3 tumble dryers, Dishwasher and the best w Shower rooms and toilets in have ever come across. This is all topped off with great service from the staff

Wow. The fog over the lake was so majestic, and the town itself was very pretty. Also the ducks were friendly.

The village Titisee in Germany is a very neat nd tiny with hygiene sorrounding. It’s famous for CuCuo clock manafacture nd for sorrounding scenic beauty. It also lies along the Black Forest regions.

We don’t live nearby but we love when we get to come here! Titisee is a beautiful lake and place, perfect to relax, enjoy beautiful nature and appreciate the good things in life. And there are also so many things to do and visit nearby, it’s a wonderful destination. We already stayed at two hotels here and both were top notch, and the lake was as inviting each time. Beautiful!

A fabulous day out while only holiday from France very easy to find great roads if you have Motorcycle. One of the highest lakes in Germany .

It was wonderful great view on the lake from every restaurants hotels the ground and they had great boat service . The kids can also steal the boat with saftey vests on for protection and after a long day u can go to a nice restaurant and eat nicely and after have a ice cream if its warm .And after that u can go on a Ferris wheel with a great view on the lake and mountains ⛰️ u can also if u have furry friends u can take them on the ferris wheel 🎡 and on the boat 🚢 ride have fun on ur visit.

Visited during the winter off-peak season, so most of the stores were closed. But the views were still absolutely stunning! Everything was covered with a layer of snow, adding a touch of magic to the landscape.

Lovely chapel at the top of a mountain. The view on sunny days is incredible, you can see as far as Strasbourg. Lots of pretty buildings to visit and learn about, the place oozes history. The café is very good, and for adventurers, take the path down to the natural water source. You can even drink the water, so fill your bottles before going for a walk!

The student ticket costs 0.50€ less than the usual adult tickets The waterfalls is absolutely beautiful and you can hike all the way to the top for different views. There are various hiking trails to explore the entire area. Sometimes you'll get to see the endemic red squirrel.

An easy nature trail accessible with asphalt, but its elevation is not easy for those who have difficulty walking or strollers. Relatively reasonable entrance prices. Most of it is shaded and pleasant. The entire trail and the beauty you see in the waterfall of the humpbacked trees are very beautiful and a highly recommended place.

Stunning, the immediate walk to the waterfall is 8 min max. You can walk more at different hiking intensities higher up the waterfall. Great pathways up the trail

The Triberg Waterfalls are really beautiful and worth seeing! The views are amazing, and the walk through the forest feels fresh and peaceful. You can take great photos and enjoy nature all around. However, the entry fee felt a bit high for such a short walk, and the place can get quite crowded, especially on weekends. Parking can also be tricky if you come late. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit once — great for nature lovers, but be ready for a bit of a crowd and some walking uphill.

The ticket (8€ per adult) also gives you access to a few other museums (so do this one first!). Dog friendly. Pretty waterfall. A bit of a slow and steady hike up to the top. Lots of people with camera tripods capturing the perfect pics.

Visited the waterfalls for free. Get on the path to the Froschbrunnen (Frog Fountain), ignoring all signs saying no path to the waterfalls. Once at the Frog Fountain take the right-most path from it & stay on this as it curves left around the hill & you will eventually see the swarms of tourists down below you on the lower waterfall paths. Take the first available path down to join the path around the waterfalls. You can either exit back the way you came, or go out through the turnstile that the paying tourists come through at the bottom of the waterfalls.

Architectural wonders. I really surprised and wondered on this cathedral architecture. It amazing and look very nice. There is no entrance fee. But there is security and he will check your bags. Inside of the cathedral is also great. You will enjoy it. Everything about this cathedral is displayed on the screen inside the cathedral that really valuable. Not too crowded if you have patience you may get nice photos of the cathedral. In side there is clock and its make bell on specific time.

The overall experience is good but was busy. So many people always in the way. The history of it being built was very interesting. It's amazing that structures can remain in the same location basically untouched for such a long time. The clock in the back is a highlight that you don't see in any other churches.

On a foggy morning in November we o pop aid a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Strasbourg. We missed the morning opening time so we made sure we were standing in line for the afternoon opening hours. The queue, although long, moved quickly, and once inside we could see all of the stained glass windows and the mechanical clock in the far corner. We were there when the clock struck one o’clock - so not much movement on the animated figures at the top of the clock! The cathedral is worth a visit - even in winter!

We came for the Luminous exhibition in the evening. It was very beautiful, colorful and joyful with the show and the music in the background also was so beautiful. If you come for the show better come at least 20 minutes early to pick up the good seat. Totally recommend the show !

The park is beautiful and peaceful. There is a nice lake with ducks and a small white temple that looks very pretty. The grass is green and there are many trees for shade. It is a great place for a walk, a picnic, or to relax. The atmosphere is calm, and it is perfect for sunny days.

Sprawling well kept public park at the edge of Strasbugh. Easily accessible by tram, it was the perfect stop for a picnic. Well marked paths made the ponds easy to find and it was a nice quiet place to relax and unwind away from the hubub and touristy areas

A very nice park, beautiful flower arrangements and animals. The stork‘s are impressive and not only around their nest . A nice waterfall and if you have time rent a boat We will come back

Big park for all family, some big space for playing and having children play ground. They grow different kinds of flowers at different places. There are free toilets. It is very good to spend relaxing time with family or friends.

Very nice park with the biggest books exchange spot I've ever seen. Tidy and well maintained.

Great for young children, very educational. There is a 30 minutes walk to the peak, but with the activities along the way it could be over an hour. There are toilets at the end of the experience which is included in the price. Alternatively, there is one before entering which takes euro coins and gives no change back. I found this annoying as I hate to walk around with coins in my pocket. There are playgrounds at the end of the experience for children for which there is a separate fee. I would recommend it for or with children, for adults it is just okay.

Great educational and overall experience. From the entry way a walkway with education and activities for children brings you to the main area with the treetop walkway. Once at the top of the walkway you'll be able to see to the horizon in any direction and there are helpful arrows signposting significant locations and directions. For the adventurous there is a quick way down for only 2€ At the base is a extensive play area for children. Overall a really good experience and very worth the entry fee.

Good easy hike for the family. Fun nature facts are scattered throughout the walk (Kids 6yrs and 4yrs) though there’s admission fee and additional fees for the slide and the playground, worth it for the experience. Costs I’m sure go towards the upkeep. Everything is well maintained. Note: Bring 2€ coins to use the slide.

A very cool place! We visited the Treetop Walk in the Black Forest and really enjoyed it. Since the upper parking lot was full, we hiked up through the forest - a pleasant and scenic trail that made the visit even more rewarding. If you prefer an easier option, there’s a convenient cable car from Bad Wildbad that takes you right to the top. The treetop walkway itself costs around €10 per adult and offers beautiful panoramic views over the Black Forest. It’s an easy, accessible path suitable for all ages. At the top, there’s also a fun spiral tube slide you can take down for an extra €2 - a fun touch, especially for kids (or adventurous adults!). Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Absolutely wonderful walk through the forest. The Treetop walk is both stunningly beautiful and peaceful. If you are going on a weekend, try to go a little before or after midday (fewer folks up there). The views from the top of the tower are long and majestic. The Bergbahn runs up from Bad Wildbad every 30 minutes on the 15th and 45th minutes. Along the walking path are fun activities and some wonderful little bird box/people are hanging in the trees waiting to be discovered.

This is so much fun and a very easy walk from the car park. It offers stunning views and the slide back down is so much fun! Do not miss!

Great days outing in black forest region. Awesome views and activities along the walk and a slide down once you get to the top (extra cost). Parking was easy. Hint - take your own picnic or sandwiches before you head back down.

We visited the zoo on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded. The nature is beautiful, lots of plants and flowers, especially now in spring when the flowers are blooming. Perfect fun for children, lots of animal species, well-maintained play parks for children. The zoo is really big and you need a whole day if you want to visit everything, so it's great for a full-day trip with the family. We really liked it and will definitely come again. We loved the Gondola ride on the lake. We had a really nice experience and memories. Admission for children under 6 is free, a day ticket for adults costs €15 if you buy it at the box office.It's cheaper if you buy the ticket online because then you pay €14.

Located right in front of the main train station, this is a relatively small zoo that packs a big punch. Sure, there aren't lions or tigers, but the polar bears, elephants, hippos, chimps and many other charismatic animals make up for it tenfold. And while some of the exhibits could be on the older side, there are brilliant modern facilities, like the wonderful tropical house, that make a big difference!

Staff were friendly and nice. Beautiful gardens and promenades. Nice displays of flowers. Amazing birds and animal varieties. The full leaning seats were so ergonomic and comfortable! The view from the hill is fantastic and you’re able to see in all directions for miles. Tranquil areas that were peaceful as well as like paintings with the fall colours. Disappointed that the polar bears were not out and wonder if there are any. The water for the bears wasn’t clear or clean. Lots of trash in it lead us to believe there may not be any bear or bears. A great zoo, with lots of animals – elephants, giraffes, parrots, seals, owls, penguins... Also a central location, easy to reach after getting off the train. Quite a good place to have a stroll with your friends. Be aware of the weather because in good weather you can see more animals.

It's ok, nothing more, nothing less. Sure, it's nice with kids, but the enclosures are way too small. The polar bear has no ice, the cheetahs no privacy, but they do have room for countless food stalls and giant grass fields. The enclosures are way too small. We shouldn't be funding this.

Visited the Karlsruhe zoo with friends and their kids which was an amazing find. The place is very nice, interesting, well maintained with lots of activities for kids of every age as well as adults. The exibits are well curated and the animals seem to be very well taken cared for. The ticket is 15€ per person which may sound a bit pricey but you have a tons of things to do. Overall this was a great find that I highly suggest to everyone, especially parents. If you don’t know what to do about your kid and feel a bit drained, take them to the zoo to roam around!

Incredible experience! It went way beyond my expectations. I didn’t think there would be this much to see. My main reason for going was the Buran and Apollo exhibits, but I ended up really enjoying the other sections too. There are dozens of cars, motorcycles, and airplanes on display. You also get to see flown items from Apollo, Gemini, Shuttle, and ISS missions. Capsule parachutes, Shuttle parts, astronaut gear, and even a Moon rock from Apollo 15… Such an amazing collection. The Lunar Module looks almost exactly like the real thing, and the lunar suits are just as impressive. Absolutely a must-visit!

What can I say as an american?I walked into this museum and I seen the biggest space shuttle.I ever seen in my life and just blew it off like any other tourist would come to find out.It's russian.I was amazed the space displays.Were incredible. Not to mention all the other airplanes, the cars, the trucks the trains.This place has everything for the enthusiast.I seen multi million dollar cars.I seen multi million dollar airplanes.I've seen the average guy walking around.I've seen people that were loaded with cash and prestige walking around it is a beautiful museum. One of the best that i've ever been in.

Spent total of 8 hours in museum but not completed seeing everything. Worth visiting. Most impressive is the B747-200 with interior cutaway.

Just a great to go with family and friends today had Sci-fi as well. So Go to see everyone dressed up. Amazing place and food was great as well. Super place for kid's and there Dad's so many hig boy's toys

Amazing display of land, water, air and space vehicles. I did not expect the huge collection of well-displayed artifacts that allowed up cloce inspection. The Lufthansa 747 is mounted high in the air, can be seen from a distance, and still allows interior visits. Worth a special trip.

It may take more than a day or two to see all this museum has to offer. The wing walk is a must, dont forget to grab your carpet to slide down afterwards.

An extremely well-curated museum that has a little something for everyone. We had an amazing tour guide who was clearly very passionate about the collection. Space, air, road, sea, plus a unique collection of musical machines.

The Speyerer cathedral exudes a sense of grand history and architectural significance. The intricate details in the stonework and sculptures reflect a high level of craftsmanship and religious symbolism. Inside, the soaring vaulted ceilings and massive columns create a powerful feeling of awe and reverence, while the richly decorated doorways and statues add a sense of solemn dignity. The atmosphere is both majestic and serene, offering a space that invites quiet reflection and admiration for its monumental design.

Visitor's note: there is currently restoration work ongoing. As such there is scaffolding in place. Be aware. What an amazing attraction for any and all visors. The cathedral it's absolutely magnificent. Completed and consecrated in 1051 le Cathedral de Spire is one of the last cathedrals built during the time of the unified church. Historically and religiously, this is incredibly significant, but the site doesn't stop there. The architecture of the space is world class. With no choir as you enter you are drawn to the east, to enter the space fully and encounter the light of Christ. The crypts below the cathedral are worth the visit alone. Hapsburgs lie interred next to other emperors, kings, and ancient leaders of both church and state. Whether you are looking for a tourist site, a historical adventure, or a pilgrimage site in western Germany, the dome has all of that and more.

Speyer cathedral, while not being able to compare to Strasbourg or Cologne is still worth a visit. If you have a good tour guide, you will hear some interesting facts and stories.

Fantastic history surrounding this cathedral. Beautiful, as are almost all the cathedrals you will come across in Europe. It is 307 steps to the top of the tower, but the views are worth it.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Badewelt Sinsheim. The facility is impeccably clean, well-maintained, and everything is organized with great attention to detail. From the moment you step in, you notice the high standards they maintain across all areas. The facilities are world-class — from the relaxing palm paradise and themed saunas to the crystal-clear pools and quiet zones. Whether you want to unwind, swim, or enjoy a full sauna session, everything is available and of top quality. A big plus is the restaurant, which offers surprisingly fresh and flavorful food. The menu is varied, the ingredients taste fresh, and the service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing spa experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I absolutely loved my time at Sinsheim Therme! From the moment we arrived, everything felt well thought out , the lockers, the comfortable seating areas, the spacious changing rooms, and the neatly organized showers made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The food was fresh and tasty, and spending the day here with my family was such a joy. We booked one of the beach-style chairs, which made relaxing even better, and I loved how organized everything was — no chaos, no confusion, just pure relaxation. It’s the perfect place to unwind, have fun, and enjoy a beautiful day together.

I had a great time visiting this place. There's truly something for everyone, both adults and kids. I appreciated their focus on privacy and ensuring everyone follows common decency rules without making customers feel uncomfortable. However, the prices are a bit high for what's on offer, and it was a bit crowded for my liking. We had to wait in several areas to enjoy the different pools. I also wish the wristbands were a bit sturdier. The ones we got dissolved in water, making it nearly impossible to remember your locker number after a full day of swimming, visiting the saunas and steam baths. Another area that could use some improvement is the front desk customer service. Apart from giving us our wristbands, they didn't spend much time explaining what there was to do or where everything was located. They just assumed we knew our way around.

It was my first time at the Sinsheim Badewelt. The prices were to high and didn’t really offer much. The Therme in Bavaria has more to offer for almost the same amount … overall it was a nice experience though I wouldn’t be going back with the high prices … I’ll better go back to Bavaria 😂😂 I enjoyed the restaurant , good service. One of the reception ladies was not friendly…

I had very high expectations of this thermal bath but my experience was slightly disappointing. I've been to many thermal baths in Germany and other thermal baths were way better on several aspects. Vital and Sauna area: This area has been the most disappointing so far, there is only one crowded pool bar and an even more crowded tiny salt pool. Textile area: This area has one large pool and a few tiny overcrowded ones that we couldn't try because there was never any free space. Loungers availability: We had to book a double seat for 13 EUR, but for most other days only some outrageously expensive loungers were available (150 to 300 Eur). I've been to better thermal baths in Germany where such a lounger is only around 30-40 EUR instead of 200+ If you don't have a reserved seat, it can be difficult to find a place to sit. One thing I liked is that they have a few non reservable seats and they would clear your towels and belongings if you leave them on it while you're away. Food: Food can be a hit or miss, the chicken Thai curry was nothing like Thai curry and was barely edible. The chili con carne however was quite delicious. They do have some delicious dessert options and the food was not expensive and very beautifully plated. Water temperature: Water temperature was quite cold in my opinion, because a large part of the pool is outdoors and that probably affects the temperature of the water inside. It wasn't uncomfortable though. Air temperature was very pleasant and warm. Parking: Plenty of free parking spots were available. Showers and lockers: There very few showers so waiting times were quite longs and queues of 5-10 people were forming at times. Water temperature was good and the facilities were very clean. Sauna: One thing I loved was the cinema Sauna, you can watch a small documentary projected while inside the sauna. I didn't join any of the activities because the lines were insanely long which made the saunas fully packed. The steam bath was also really nice and the peeling options are amazing. Massage: Massages must be booked ahead of time. They also have some automatic massage beds but I couldn't find the cost mentioned anywhere. I think that's quite misleading. There thousands of real orchids and beautiful plants all over the pools, which was really nice. I'm not sure if I would come back again.

I’m 34 weeks pregnant and drove an hour to the pool, only to find that main pool is closed for renovations – with no notice online or anywhere else. This was a huge waste of time and energy. The indoor pool was uncomfortably warm and not refreshing at all. The outdoor pool area has nowhere to sit or relax, which makes it difficult to enjoy. Poor communication and poorly thought-out facilities. Not coming back. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Absolutely LOVED spending one of our first days in Germany here. We went on a Friday afternoon and probably will be back during the week when it won't be as busy. Would definitely recommend booking a private bed there for the day if you go as you're not allowed to reserve your own. The pool bar is super cute with delicious drinks and it's just a vibe. We also did the sauna part and that was by far THE BEST saunas we have ever been to. Each Sauna has a different theme. Absolutely recommend 👌

Amazing museum to get lost. Plan plenty of time to be there. We stayed the whole days. The museum conditions of w giant halls, planes the roof trops, outdoor exhibition of tanks, planes, playground and amusement parc. We liked best : slide down of one of the planes, Concore& Tupolev, fastest car in the world " Blue Flame" Monstertrack, car of " back from the future".... In hall 1 you can find the IMAX cinema, museum shop, American dream cars, military tanks, planes, helicopters and other vehicles, aircraft hangar, organs and bicycle racing. Hall 2 is allabout motorracing, formula 1, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ralleycars, automobile from the beginning, 20s 40s 50s and modern automobile. On the rooftopyou find the Concord, Tupolev and the submarine.

What an incredible place. It's mind-blowing the exhibits on display. Wild, varied and so many !!! You can view it all in a few hours but for sure take a day out to go to this mind bending place. The Concorde and the Kondcordski Tuplolv tu144 are magnificent. Scary climbing up the stairs and the tilt is a bit steep but well worth going. The cars also , so many cool cars, from supercars, to pre war to hot rods. Exhibits on race cars, a cool display of F1 cars. They also have a Great shop . Deffo pace yourself and take time !! They also have another museum called technik Speyer ... That has the Russian Space shuttle the Buran !!!

Absolutely amazing experience, with the U-boat, Tupolev and Concorde as the major highlight. Do not miss this if you have the opportunity. Expect to spend between 2 and 4 hours. Good - experience some of the most amazing vehicles from up close. - build as an experience - there is actually too much too see - themed areas and some paid interactive displays.

One of the most fascinating museums l've ever been to because of its absolute mint condition of trains, planes and automobiles :) Expect to spend a few hours to a whole day to fully enjoy this huge museum! Very special to see in person was the supersonic airplanes …Concorde and Russian tupolev (Tu-144) and a real U-boat !! (Line ups may vary from 10min to 1hour) Great collection of Lambo’s, Ferrari’s and of course every classic German sports cars. Lots of outdoor parking (5.00€ ) Bonus: some of the special collection exhibits are interactive by putting 2€ coin fee which gives you a great real life example of a steam locomotive wheels in action with sounds, very impressive so just do it !

We've been wanting to go here for a few years as we passed it on the way to someplace else. So much to see and really loved walking inside the Concorde jet and the U boat. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was busy but not too bad. Parking is 5 euros. Lots of cars, tanks, motorcycles and more. Great for a family to spend a half day and the playground was fantastic with rides too.

Great, but it could be so much better. There are some amazing exhibits here, but they're displayed in a ramshackle and random manner. Having the planes at stage angles must have seemed like a good idea (maybe after a beer or two), but I think they'd be better level allowing people to walk through easily and concentrateon looking at the interiors fully.. Information on some of the exhibits is sparse or cut-and-paste from others. It is certainly worth a visit, but it has the potential to be absolutely amazing.

Most fascinating museum I've ever been to. To actually enter a Concorde was a blast. Definitely spending a whole day the next time. Absolutely a family experience. Very nice staff. So much to see and explore.

Dating back to the 13th century, this castle is impressive and has a unique architectural character compared with other castles. Several sections have been carefully restored, while others are intentionally kept as ruins, which adds to its atmosphere. You can visit a fascinating pharmacy laboratory museum inside, though access to the other interior areas is unfortunately restricted. The grounds include an enormous garden and provide breathtaking views of the city. Entrance fee is 11,00 € for adults. Walking through the castle and soaking up its centuries-old history was an unforgettable experience.

Very beautiful view over the whole city including the hills, the river, and a breathtaking sunset in the horizon. The garden is sooo big and “instagrammable” with many spots for selfies and photos. The castle is not big but has a beautiful winery, restaurant, small museum, beautiful facade, but most importantly an amazing high terrace overlooking the city. The tickets include a ride on the cable tramway taking you all the way to the tip of the mountain. A beautiful ride and nice view.

Absolutely beautiful place! The views over Heidelberg are stunning, and the castle itself is full of history and charm. Great mix of ruins and restored areas, with lots to explore. A must-see if you’re in the area! The bergbahn is really close by too if you have tickets to go back into altstadt

This castle truly has a mystic vibe to it! The red-brick theme, and the fact that its in ruins but still very well maintained adds to its appeal. Highly recommend visiting in fall/autumn as it looks super aesthetic with the green-yellow-red-brown leaves all around the magnificent castle! We didn't go inside but just taking a stroll around it and outside was super beautiful and makes for a good outing in Heidelberg!

Visiting Heidelberg Castle felt like stepping into a storybook. The walk up is a bit steep, but completely worth it for the stunning views over the city and the Neckar River. The castle itself has a beautiful mix of grandeur and ruin, which gives it so much character and history. I especially enjoyed wandering through the gardens and taking in the scenery. My recommendation is to take your time and just enjoy the atmosphere as well as to go before the sunset. Highly recommended!

Highly Recommend 👌👌👌 Heidelberg Castle is absolutely worth a visit! The views over the city and river are breathtaking, and the mix of old architecture and history makes it special. Don’t miss the giant wine barrel or the Pharmacy Museum. Go at sunset for amazing photos. The only problem is parking especially on the weekends, this place is crowded with visitors.

I didnt go into the palace(entrancee fee was around 20EUR) but it was so beautiful even only outside. I saw the panoramic view to the city. It was perfect.

A lovely walking path up the side of a hill that overlooks Heidelberg's old town. It is steep in parts as it winds up the hill but with places to stop along v the way to admire the view, it's not difficult. The views are worth the walk.

The initial climb can be quite strenuous but eases off when you reach the top. Great views of the castle and old city

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it perfect for unwinding. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a calm and scenic spot.

A beautiful trail with absolutely stunning panoramic views over Heidelberg and the Neckar River – perfect for photos of the old town and castle. Parking at Parkhaus Nordbrückenkopf (P16) cost me €7.50 for 3 hours, which felt a bit pricey, but honestly it was worth every cent. There’s also a small kiosk along the way, which is convenient for a quick refreshment. Highly recommended if you want to experience Heidelberg from above.

It's a tough walk up and need one to two hours. Views are very nice and we meet many other young and old people on the way. If you like hiking great Walk.

A lovely forest walk. I recommend going all the way up to the monetary ruins, the view is lovely from the tower

Beautiful view, especially at night, but very difficult to access. The road up is very narrow and old, with deep rutts. There are stairs up to the area after the drive. Definitely not disabled accessible.
