I had a good experience in akbük but i heard that it used to be more relaxing and beautiful over there but now its too crowded and not that good if you just want to chill out. There's a beautiful forest there too but the fire department won't let you camp there unfortunately. And if you want to camp you either should find a place before actually getting to akbük or you have to camp in the campsites which are too crowded and in my opinion awful ! And overpriced

From Akyaka it is almost 50 min distancr by car, a challenging Road but a hidden town by the sea and Mountain. Clean sea and perfect nature

The water is amazing and worth a visit. There are a few small open air places that will serve you food and drinks. Paid 10try to park but worth every penny to swim in these waters. The beach is small but they sell chairs and umbrellas if needed but you dont come here to sit on the beach. I wish i had diving equipment with me.

Be ready for very loud music for the whole day until 12, especially well heared if you are on a yacht. Worst mooring experience in Turkey so far

One of the perfect place to have rest and swim. Still not commercial and “touristic”. Some sea side hotels and restaurants are occupying the beach but still it’s kind of “vlrgin” place for holiday.

This review is for the river it self. Unbelievable. Never seen anything so natural and amazing. Cristal clear water with incredibly beautiful see weed and fish. A natural aquarium. The boats take you for a tour for very reasonable price.

The river and surrounding ambience is phenomenal. One should really need to hop on a boat and enjoy the slow ride with tremendous scenery. However, I suggest you pack your meal, even get your drinking water with you. The restaurants are below average, sometimes far from edible and truly undeservingly expensive.

Quaint little seaside town about 40 mins from Marmaris with a beautiful landscape and mountains surrounding. Take a leisurely cruise down the river or just chill at one of the wayside cafes. Tranquillity and peace. Awesome place to spend a day and just unwind

The slides were very nice, the foam was insufficient at the foam party and we didn't have much fun. The area for children is very nice, I recommend it. While some employees were interested, I did not like the attitude of some employees. If not for those employees, I would recommend it very well in general.

Amazing waterpark, much better than the one on the beach, worth paying the extra for! Plenty of pools and slides for all ages! Staff more than helpful pulling out extra sunbeds as and when requested, the scottish lady on the bar was very friendly! Kids loved the icecream & strawberries! We will 100% return on our next trip to turkey!

We had a fantastic day at the waterpark! Perched at the top of the hill, it offers amazing views over Marmaris bay as well as a huge variety of slides to keep everyone entertained. The atmosphere was brilliant – the poolside DJ and foam party gave it a real holiday vibe. Everything was well organised, clean, and felt safe, which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the day. A perfect mix of fun, music, and great facilities – highly recommended for families and groups alike! 🌊🎶💦 For the cheapest prices, buy tickets directly from their website, instead of your operators.

Most people friendly and salt of the earth. Couldn’t do enough for you. Any time of the day or night, there would be shops open. Some phenomenal evenings, breakfasts and lunches at The Majestic by the beautiful flower lined and walkbridge connected Canal. Surprisingly though, prices were similar to Sydney, Aus. prices or a little cheaper. It wasn’t as cheap as I had expected for such a small town. Overall, my experience in Içmeler was fondly memorable! Worth the trip.

A nice beach in the centre of icmeler. It was empty in October so Marmaris is better if you want a more lively atmosphere, however if you want some peace and quiet this is the place to go. I’d imagine it’s quite different in the middle of the summer!

Pleasant little town. We walked here from our hotel in Marmaris. Took just under an hour. Bars and shops aplenty. Water taxi to take you to and from Marmaris is a nice and fairly inexpensive form of travel if don't want to walk.

It's okay, but you can't really call it a waterpark. It is more of a splash park. Slides are okay, but once again, not what you would expect when it is sold to you as a water park/aqua park. It will feel like better value for money if one were to come with kids or teenage kids; otherwise, you will be in and out in a maximum of two hours. They have a soft play area on site. Not had any issues with staff personally but I do agree with other comments about them being glued to the phones. And, yes, I've seen them as well lit a cigarette and chill at the top of the slides.

I've visited many water parks across Spain, and while they tend to be massive, Marmaris Atlantis Water Park is smaller in comparison. That said, we had a fantastic time! The park was clean, with plenty of lifeguards ensuring safety. The food service was efficien and our order was delivered quickly. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely come back!

Small, but good fun for kids and a change from the hotel pool. Free shuttle bus picks you up and takes you back later. Your entry also includes access to the sunbeds on the beach in front of the water park, where you can come in and out as many times as you want. Drinks and food can also be had on the beach.

Good water park with a view and its own beach with enough sun beds, you can come in and out more than once, there are enough water slides and a wave pool.

We were sold this experience by the rip-off merchant, known as Murat, a holiday rep, who does nothing but rip-off guests. This excursion, for example is only 24TL and he sold it to us for 35TL each. I don't know why a minibus was required considering it was a few minutes walk from the Point Beach Hotel (a budget hotel masquerading as a 4* hotel). The staff were lovely at the water park. In particular the two lifeguards near the blue slide. All the slides are fantastic including the wave machine. There was very little waiting time and we had a great deal of fun. The only point of note was that the restaurant where we ordered our food would not serve us at the sunbeds. It was only the white water park users that got that service, we had to order our food in at the desk at then collect it from there when we were ordered to. We would not eat there again, we'd rather go elsewhere.

There seem to be a lot of poor reviews on Trip Advisor, but we had an excellent day at Atlantis Water Park. Unfortunately, we headed out too late to catch the free shuttle bus (between 9 & and 11.30am, I think from your hotel) but we grabbed a cab straight there which was only 200 Lira (a fiver). I pre-booked online as recommended. Cost is around £19 for an adult, and £10 for under 11's. You can spend the whole day there and with the wristband, come and go as you please. You also have access to a private section of the beach with loungers and brollies. The park itself is perfect for adults not looking for anything too crazy and kids. It might not have scary enough flumes for teenagers, although my 18yr old loved it. It was perfect for my 9yr old. We stayed the whole day and bought snacks and drinks from the attached bar. Some reviews say the park is run down, but we had no issue with it. It was clean, and that's the main thing. I'd recommend a visit!

Came here mid November we were fortunate enough to have lovely weather for a couple days, the beach is clean and if you sit near one the the restaurants or bars they allow you to use the Sun Loungers and give you free WiFi providing you purchase a drink from them.

The sand is brown ,it's kind of dry clay in most of the parts, don't expect white fine sand. The sea is brown as well, if you go to the deep part it can be a little bit more clear. If you want to go snorkeling ,that's isn't the beach ,go to Turunç, Turunç is amazing. Marmaris beach facilities are spectacular, showers everywhere, places to get changed and toilets. Amazing facilities.

A sandy beach stretches on the part of the coast of Marmaris and belongs to the municipality, it is crowded most of the time in the morning and evening, there are public sanitary facilities and places for changing clothes, as well as places for bathing and washing the body after going to the sea. There is a nearby park that has children's games.

Parked in the new carpark along the front, lots of space and walked the whole length of marmaris, there was a kite festival so they were everywhere. Wandered back along the pazar area which has lots of little shops, lovely afternoon

Finally got to see the famous dancing fountains in Marmaris — they start at 9pm and are definitely a highlight of any visit here. 💦✨ The music, lights, and water displays are brilliant, and the atmosphere is buzzing with families and holidaymakers. Can’t believe it’s taken me five trips to actually see them, but worth the wait!

Not as breathtaking as Dubai fountain, obviously on the much smaller scale. Still, lovely spot. I recommend to visit after sunset. Nice to chill and relax. Lovely, calming atmosphere.

Lovely for a swim but lots of stones so u will need beach shoes. No sun beds or loungers. Just bring ur Towel and sit on sand. There is a little bit with a rail that has man made hard floor under sea to get into sea to avoid the stones

Very nice place to wait for a ferry. Bathrooms are super clean! See a bunny or two while you are there.

Very nice well designed place with whatever a sailor can need such as warm water, every time clean big spaced toilets with hair dryer. Good shopping area with many cafes restaurants and sailing shops, a very close super market just next to marine, close to heart of Marmaris just a few minutes walk you are in castle historic area and bar streets.

It used to be very nice and friendly, in the last two years prices have become unreasonable. Let me explain: first of all is very noisy at night (both from night clubs but also fron other boats partying) but the worst thing is the high speed powerboats entering or leaving the marina. So once in while unexpected waves come out of the blue caused by tenders. Additionally the behavior of certain staff + the refusal to speak English is funny when working in tourism! There is a rule in marketing called "willingness to pay", i don't mind the higher cost BUT downgrading the quality of your services is serious.

The marina is impeccably clean and well run, the town has everything you cod need to refit your boat with. Most of the mariners speak good English and are very helpful and the technical support is also readily available. It is also a very safe and secure marina with someone attentively patroling on a tender through the night .

A very beautiful landscape, a well-maintained and clean promenade, lots of services.

An amazing relic of the past. I'd like to give everyone a little information here. There is no need to get a boat trip to visit this place. Walk along the front in the direction of the sea. (Left). You will see a restaurant on the other side. There is a row boat service to take you to over. The cost is insignificant. You will see a single road on the other side. Simply walk along it for approximately 20 minutes and you will arrive at Caunos. You can not miss it. It's an easy walk for most people. You do have to get in and out of the boat, obviously but you will be helped. These are pictures of the crossing point.

Well worth a visit to the extensive ruins. Took the car ferry as foot passengers from river by Hotel Portleva. Fare 20 lira each way (cash). Then 15 minutes easy walk on a road. Entry fee 140 lira each again cash only. Visited from 4pm on 1 October and only a very few people were there. The amphitheatre is being renovated but still accessible. The lower level by the river is river is accessible by an ancient paved path which is uneven in places -saw a few big lizards. It’s possible to cross the river by row boat from the town centre but this means a longer walk on the other side.

Kaunos is a must see if you’re in the area! So much amazing history to see and gorgeous views over the water! Remember to bring water as it’s HOT up there… they have opened a little cafe to grab a drink too.

Kaunos is an ancient city located in the province of Muğla, Turkey, near the modern town of Dalyan. Once a strategically important port city, it is now situated several kilometers inland due to the silting of its harbor over centuries. The city is on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List and is known for its unique blend of Carian, Lycian, Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine influences. There is quite a lot of restoration work but it doesn't detract from what you see. There are bilingual signs outlining what each structure is and it's history. All in all, it's like the entertainment quarter for the ancient inhabitants of this area. Entry is 150 Turkish Lira payable at the top. The walk up is very dusty and hot. I recommend good walking shoes, a hat and water.

4th visit. This time I decided to walk to the highest point where the castellations are. It was a difficult ascent which took about 30 min's beyond the ampitheatre. Don't think I'd do that walk again but if you're up for a challenge go for it. The views are panoramic once at the top

Enjoyed the trip by boat all the way to the mud and thermal water park. Mythologically, It is been said that the river is filled by tears of a prince whose love left him for his brother. On the mountains there, they crafted their Graves.

Great tombs to see and you can get amazing views from restaurants on the other side of the river and boat trips. Theres also some great local drink stands with refreshing drinks nearby which I highly recommend.

Every time we visit Dalyan we always hop along the river to visit Caunos/Kaunos to see for ourselves what secrets have been revealed again. If you go prepare for a walk of half an hour (max). It's a nice walk and people along the road sell fresh orange juice/honey/olives and pome granate for a fair price. Enjoy!

You can access the entrance either with ferry departing from Dalyan(if you dont have a car, you can walk 15minutes once you land on the other side) or riding via çandır road. No visitor, no park guy was there when we visited but actually this is a Museum Card zone. Incredibly beatiful, a must visit place

Without a doubt, when Caunos is in question, most people and historians think about the Tombs of the Kings. These tombs belong to the real kinds of Caunos nation, and they are carved into a mountain. In their belief, the dead should be buried and the higher the location of the tomb of the buried, the closer the person could be to the gods. This is why, all these tombs are carved on the top of the mountains, which is almost impossible to climb today. You can enjoy the beautiful and breathtaking scenery of these Tombs of the Kings, which were carved during the 4th century BC. Very nice, spacious and clean sandy beach. Water is crystal clear and it's shallow for like 20 meters. The only downside was the parasols; they're rather small and don't have great coverage. However the beach is pretty cheap -100 TL for a couple of beds and a parasol - so it's definitely worth it.

This is our first trip to İztuzu Beach by car, and the journey is quite long. The breathtaking views on the drive to the beach make it worthwhile. The parking lot costs ₺200, and payment is required upon entry. They also provide changing rooms and restrooms. There is a restaurant and tanning area where you can pay ₺165 per person or ₺350 for two wooden sun loungers, or choose a free one on the sand. The beach was extremely crowded. The only thing you have to do when you go swimming in the sea, all you have to do is walk far enough until the water is deep enough. İztuzu Beach is absolutely stunning; unfortunately, we did not get to see any turtles, but we had an enjoyable time. I recommend it purely for the experience.

İztuzu Plajı is one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in Turkey. The sand is golden, the water is shallow and warm, and the scenery is amazing with mountains on one side and the river delta on the other. What makes it special is that it’s also a protected nesting area for Caretta Caretta turtles, so it feels like you’re visiting both a beach and a natural reserve. There are no big hotels or loud music, which keeps it peaceful. Best to bring your own snacks and water, and respect the turtle areas. Truly a natural paradise!

One of my favourite in Turkey. Perfectly clean, wise, and beautiful. Dalyan in general is a magic place for a vacation. You can get there by the boat, or by the bus service. It takes around 30 minutes, both ways are enjoyable though, views etc. A lot of empty space, if you walk a little far from the sun lounges. Sandy clean beach, warm clean sea, perfect

I liked this beach a lot. The fee is not that much (2€ per car, no matter how many people are inside it), there are public toilets and showers (with cold, salty water) and the beach is clean. The water doesn't get deep enough for swimming for more than 50meters which makes it ideally for kids. You can also visit the Turtle Hospital (which is located close to the entrance). There is also shadow under some pine trees, but if you arrive after 10am most probably you will find it already occupied. At times it gets very windy. The restaurant inside has reasonable prices.

The beach was fine but the views on the road to get there almost earned it 5 stars. There is water sports and people available to take you out on a boat. The road to get there isn't for a novice driver but as long as you go slow you'll get there, it was my first time driving left hand drive and I had a blast heading down it.

Stunning beach with turquoise water. The maim beach is a bit crowded but the hidden gem is on the left hand side. Take the walking trail on the left and walk 10 minutes. You will fall in love with the crystal clear turquoise blue water.

This is my most favorite bay in this area. On the weekends it is too crowded because it is very popular due to its fame and perfect sea and forest combination of nature but during the weekdays it is a perfect choice.

One of the most beautiful spots to see in Dalaman area. The beach is great early in the morning if you want to get the most of it. Entry to the parking 200TL, sunbeds for 150TL. The road is a bit challenging but it’s worth it.

Lovely beach, pretty long, nice for a walk. I spent 6 weeks there next to the beach in December 2024 and January 2025 and liked it. It's partly dark sand, the rest are stones. Usually clean. Mountain view in the background and islands around were a bonus. Nice for sunsets. Many locals go there with chairs and tables and eat and drink. Some parts of the beach were quiet, mostly on week days, but it got too busy on weekends and in the afternoona in general. As an introvert, I would not enjoy the Calis beach in summer when it gets overcrowded. In winter it was still fine for me on weekdays. What I did not enjoy: way too many people smoking on the beach, they do not care at all if there's any non-smokers around (for a lifelong non-smoker, it was disgusting to me). And also many locals were fishing there, jus anywhere among other people who went there for a swim (yes, I did go for a swim even in winter when the water was not very warm but that's why I was staying next to the beach) and it was bothering having to check the fishing sticks and lines all around me. It's very inconsiderate that the fishermen do not stick to the end of the beach in order not to disturb other people who are not on the beach for fishing.

Beautiful beach to watch the sunset - however parts of the seafront strip feel a bit like Blackpool abroad. There are some really lovely food places though.

Had a fabulous beach day at the Seahorse Beach Club whilst on holiday with Friendship Travel. Lovely beach with excellent facilities. Awesome to watch the paragliders landing nearby.

As someone who has spent her entire life in Fethiye—from birth through childhood and high school—I’d like to share a few thoughts about Çalış Beach (Çalış Plajı). Let me say this upfront: the water at Çalış isn’t the cleanest or most pristine you’ll find. That’s a fact anyone can figure out, whether they’re visiting for the first time or have lived here for years. But the real charm of Çalış isn’t in its water quality—it’s in the experience. Çalış is one of those rare beaches where you can walk barefoot on soft sand, where the shore doesn’t feel like it’s fenced off or commercialized with a cordon or barrier. You’re not forced to pay high entrance fees, buy overpriced drinks, or reserve a sunbed just to enjoy the sea. There’s a quiet kind of justice in that. You can just be. The view here is stunning, especially at sunset—one of the best in all of Fethiye. You can grab a cold beer from a nearby bakkal, walk down to the beach, and enjoy it with your loved ones without bothering anyone. It’s that simple. That free. You can walk, breathe, watch the Knight Island across the bay, and feel like you’re in a space that welcomes you as you are. There are wonderful restaurants around too—especially fish restaurants—and the pubs feel just right for Fethiye. The atmosphere is unpretentious, friendly, and open. Çalış offers a kind of democratic beauty—natural and social—that makes the friendships and memories you form here feel extra special and lasting. That said, I also want to offer a sincere warning. The water here may look calm and inviting, but it can get surprisingly deep after just a few steps. I say this as someone who nearly drowned here as a child, despite being a strong swimmer today. If you don’t know how to swim, don’t go in alone. It’s deceptive. The sea bottom drops quickly, and before you know it, you’re in over your head. There’s also a fair amount of underwater moss, which might feel unpleasant or slippery. So please—enjoy Çalış, but do so with care. Let yourself go with the flow, but not without a sense of awareness and respect for the sea.

Lovely laid back resort, flatter then near by resorts so easy to get out and about. Lots of great bars and restaurants not as busy as Hisaronu, oludeniz but if you like a more laid back atmosphere then this is for you. Some amazing views and sun sets along the front, have visited many times and will definitely return.

The beach is rocky and the waves can be strong, but the sunset is absolutely breathtaking. A view well worth the visit.

We went several times in previous years but this year it was difficult to find a toilet or a shower But overall the place is nice

its a really cool place. but be prepared: it is very crowded, they will charge you multiple times for different things. The sun shades are a bit small, you need to adjust your sun-bed constantly (if you have space of course). it has a locker tho’ which is really handy, but didn’t worked for us, but the staff did a workaround to fix it for us. :) All together we had a blast at the bay, the water is very clear once you pass the shallow water. and if you up for exploring , you can climb the surrounding “mini island” rocks. i wouldn’t miss it!

Beautiful Beach. Love the scenery. It’s pebbly, but the pebbles are smooth. Water is crystal clear. Beach has washrooms. Entrance was 100TL per person. No stamp or receipt to leave and come back. Parking is extra. We had a scooter and just parked it outside the gate for free.

Nice and quite in October. We enjoyed it very much, but I can imagine how overcrowded ans overwhelming it could get in high season. Quite pricy, though: 500 lira for parking, 1200 for an umbrella and 2 sunbeds...

⭐️⭐️ Ölüdeniz has always been known as one of the most beautiful beaches in Türkiye, and I’ve visited many times over the years. The sea is stunningly crystal clear — but sadly that’s the only thing left I truly love about this place. Prices have gone through the roof, the beach itself isn’t very sandy, and the lack of security is a real problem. There are people walking around taking photos of women without proper control, and one man with a parrot goes around pushing photos on tourists. When I said no, he was extremely rude and even shouted at me because he didn’t understand my answer — which is not my problem. It left a very bad impression. For such a famous destination, it feels poorly managed and not welcoming anymore.

Need to pay for entrance. Need to pay for parking. Very crowded. No space much to set up your towels. Okey to spend 1/2hours but no quiet or comfy.... Shame as nature made it beautiful. But wasted by crowd.

Beautiful place! You can see wonderful view and people who are riding paragliding. If you ride paragliding in Oludeniz, you will begin at here! You have to come even you don’t ride paragliding as it is beautiful place to enjoy nature.

My experience went very well! 🤩 I really enjoyed it. Although I was scared, the professional tandem pilot was very professional (Yusuf Okudeniz Paragliding). The view was spectacular, and the weather was amazing. ☁️ I had the chance to fly into the clouds, one of my dreams, to touch them. I recommend it; the price is affordable. 💯 I was also taking videos with my Ray-Ban Meta Ai glasses, so it was a fun experience for me

Went up nice and early to avoid crowds and hung around until the top end chairlift started. Amazing views and great watching all the lunatics jumping off the ramp!

Massive over 6,400 feet high. Went up to the first 🥇 level in May 1200m. Went up to the second 🥈 level in October 1700m.

The best view of Oludeniz from above! Also to watch parachutes take off! There is a cable car service available to take to the top of the mountain. There is four stops to the top of the mountain. You can stop at each point and admire the views. There is also different food place at every stop which you can check from their official website. The ticket purchased for the cable car allows you to stop at each point then return back to base. I would strongly advise to NOT drive to the top of the mountain. Unfortunately no one warned us and we took the road instead of the cable car. The road is very dangerous with no rails on the side. The road is not in good condition and broken leading straight off the cliff! Also the minibuses for the parachutes drive at high speed with no consideration for other cars! They make the drive even more dangerous. There also isn’t a place to park your car at the top. You need to leave your car by the side of the road and space isn’t guaranteed at all! It simply isn’t worth taking the risk plus I’m sure you would get better views with the cable cars.

One of the newer facilities in Oludeniz is the cable car system up the mountain. Previously, the only way up was a series of narrow roads and hairpin bends. (You can still use some of these as part of an organised trail run.) Be aware that the car park is about 150 metres away from the main building. There is an electric shuttle bus that runs a regular service between the two. Note that taxis will drop outside the building, but you need to go to the car park to get one back. The ticket office is outside the building, and the entrance just to the side. In the foyer is a diorama of the mountain, and escalators and a lift to the floor where the cable car starts. The actual cable car is in two parts; the first goes to 1500 metres, where you can get out to go to a rather expensive restaurant, or stay on board to go to 1700 metres. Each car is a bubble with amazing all around views, and will carry up to 8 people. At the 1700 metre height, you'll find the first paraglider launch pad; and it looks like the most popular. I estimated between 30 and 50 launches per hour. Some were individuals, but about half were tandems. There is another restaurant at this point, so you can sit in comfort watching the launches. You can carry on up the mountain, using a ski style chair lift. It's easy to use, and there is an operator who keeps an eye on things. At 1800 metres, there is the second launch platform which goes in a different direction. However, it's up a set of stairs or a steep ramp, so not so good for anyone with mobility issues. At this height, there is a Burger House, that overlooks the launch pad at 1700 metres. About 100 metres away, there is the final part of the system, another chair lift that takes you up to the highest part of the mountain and the launch pad at 1900 metres. Views all the way up are astonishing, and well worth the effort of going up. The cost of the cable car is very acceptable; if you're in the area, it's worth making the time to visit.

The most beautiful mountain peak I have ever seen. Peaks at 2000ft. Looks over Ölüdeniz, Fetihye, and what's looks to be as far as Dalaman, the Agean Sea, Rhodes and Ulyk Tepe. Beautiful at sunset. Beautiful colours that bounce off of the water. There are restraunts and places to get drinks to at the top. The paragliders jump from the top. The views are magnificent and very romantic. A modern cable cart to the top, from the terminal, is 300 TYL per person. I would 100% recommend this visit even if it's one of the only excursions you do while in the area. Can get a bit chilly of you go late or out of season due to the natural elements. There is security who are very helpful and are good at keeping the tourists and attraction safe.

Beach is nice. Very authentic…But 15 euro per person just for the entrance (!!!) it is a bit too much for a wild beach, where there are no proper conditions like shower, changing rooms etc…Also you have to pay extra for umbrella and sunbeds…A simple rip-off(((

Mashallah this is a great beach. Amazing views, nice walk here from the sand dunes. Empty beach, clear blue water and nice waves. Parking is limited up top but you can manage to somehow find a spot, just keep waiting. The sand is very hot so make sure to not go down to the beach barefoot!! We made this mistake and would not recommend.

This place is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing, however, I recommend explore all the areas in Patara not just the beach. The best option is getting a tour that includes the historical areas and the beach.

The beach itself looks good and interesting as it is the part of big historical territory and famous for caretta caretta (type of turtle) nesting. It is worth to visit but I am not a fan of wavy sea so I didn’t try even to swim in it, but for the ones who likes the waves, ut can be really funny and cool😎

Patara Beach is nice, but not amazing. You do have to pay an entry fee just to get in, which feels a bit unnecessary for a beach. The water is fine, the sand is fine — nothing wrong, but nothing unforgettable either. What does stand out are the sand dunes. They’re big, golden, and perfect for those dreamy “lost in the desert” Instagram shots 🤩. If you’re into photography or just want a couple of unique pictures for the feed, that part is definitely worth it. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re nearby, but I wouldn’t put it on a “must-see” list.

A fascinating walk through history! The rock-carved Lycian tombs are spectacular—very reminiscent of Petra—and stand in amazing contrast to the well-preserved Roman amphitheater and stadium nearby. The site isn't huge, but make sure you take the steep path up the hill above the tombs. It's a bit of a scramble, so wear good shoes and be careful of the narrow paths, but the panoramic view from the top is absolutely worth the effort and makes for incredible photos. A fantastic way to spend a few hours imagining the ancient world.

A great place to visit by car. Entrance for four is 600 lira. At the entrance you will be offered the services of a guide, I forgot his name. He lives nearby with his family. Take him, you will not regret it. Without his story, for us this place would be just stones with incomprehensible inscriptions. He will tell you about this place quickly and interestingly, will not let you die from the heat. He will tell you where to get the best photos. You set the price for the excursion yourself. His wife and daughter make souvenirs from stone with their own hands.

Don’t miss the chance to visit this amazing place, lots to see, beautiful ruins.

It's worth the visit at 60TL. It's interesting to see the ruins, tombs, and surrounding areas. Stunning 360° views especially of the snow-capped mountains. Parking is along the street, not designated, so if you see a safe spot, pull over. The little cafe or juice bar sells freshly squeezed orange or pomegranate or a combination of both, which was refreshing. There are toilets on the grounds which were clean.

We were heading home from YakaPark, when we saw the ruins. We really did not expect to see such beautiful and impressive ruins here. We walked around and explored everything there, it didn't take more than an hour. Also, you can easily reach the top of the castle, where the flag is, It is an impressive place without a doubt. Not to mention, the view is very breathtaking If you like history and exploring old cities, you will like this place. Worth the drive!

Absolutely relaxing place, nice view, wasnt crowded. You can buy ticket at the entrance highly recommended to have cash on you for. For us took about 2hours to walk around explore and make pictures at Castle, bath agora and theatre ruins. Toilet was available ant entrance, no parking lot, so you can park wherever you find place for.

It was a very hot day so would definitely recommend taking plenty of fluids and covering yourself from the heat, The place itself has some amazing history and we ended up with a random tour guide who decided to join us (whose daughter also has a shop at the start of the walk), he did become a bit annoying when he would not let us explore on our own but each to their own as some people would not mind this. You are able to climb into the ruins and get some cool pics and videos and once you reach the top their is a lovely breeze on a hot day to enjoy as well aa the views to go with it. The walk does not take long depending on your pace but at a steady pace I would say around 30 minutes or so. Entry is around 3 euros so not bad to spend a bit of time in here.

The gorge was amazing and a decent challenge to make it to the end. The water is very cold at first but refreshing. Make sure your footwear is suitable for both water and climbing rocks. The views are amazing. We did the rafting and mud bath which was definitely worth it. The restaurants by the water are over priced but the views are great.

It's beautiful. For the ones that appreciate the nature I'm sure u'll love it here. I'll let my pictures speak for itself. The only thing I want to warn you, or give an advice, come early in the morning. We arrived at 9.30am and we did the "hike" (more like a walk) through the canyon within 2 hrs time. On the way back I couldn't believe how crowded the place has got. Crazy. And it was a weekday - Friday. So yes, definitely worth seeing. Also there are nice places u can eat, beautiful surroundings, it felt very refreshing :) and please make sure u bring water shoes, we rented shoes there for 100 Turkish lira per person.

The walk in the gorge was very short because of the rain the day before. There are some very cosy, hippy like terraces. You will have to wear a helmet. Be aware that you must cross the river at the start, bring water shoes! After that, the path is easy and dry.

Very cold water in this amazing canyon. Especially in the hot summer a cool place to go. You can also walk way up into the canyon for a long walk. Entrance fee is 65 tl. Parking is 200 tl.

This was a crackingly good day out and an excellent place to beat the heat. The water is icy cool and super refreshing and there are benches and tables in ankle high water so you can cool off while you eat. There is ziplining and rafting available (costs extra, about 500 lira each person/activity (£10)) in addition to the gorge itself, which is rather stunning and offers plenty of great photo opportunities. If you want to see everything, you will need to get wet, to at least knee high, so take some water shoes (I saw lots of lost sandals floating away) and beware that small children may need to be carried through some of the deeper or faster moving sections of the stream.

Don‘t go with a tour. Just take a local bus! Entry is 65. Watershoes to buy 200. Tours just go to the beginning of the gorge, you will miss incredible landscapes! Took me around 90 minutes inside. After 45 minutes there is a high waterfall, you can climb from inside the rocks if you feel confident. After that you can probably continue a while.

The natural beauty here was incredible. A few things will help you enjoy yourself: the water is FREEZING. I visited in September, it was a warm day, but the water remains absolutely ice cold. The rocks are pretty painful on bare feet, so water shoes would be good - but because of the current, flip flops were a bad choice. Your feet go numb really fast, and it's hard to keep the flip flops from falling off and floating away. We definitely saw multiple people slip and fall in, so having a dry bag for your things would be good. There are places to get food, ice cream, and souvenirs. It's cash only, and we did have to pay to park. The scale of the gorge is really hard to document, but it was incredible.

We arrived late afternoon after a visit to Saklikent Gorge, so there were few people there; the 'waterfall' is quite small and part of a cafe/trout farm. It's a pretty setting with lots of cool shade, several big ponds with fish of various sizes, snacks, beer, wine and other soft/alcoholic drinks. Very friendly service. The ponds do attract biting insects, so bring spray if you tend to get bitten. A nice place to stop for a rest and refreshment in the heat of the day.

What a charming location to escape the heat. The pools of water are helpful to cool off and the fish ponds are quite interesting to watch while eating or relaxing. I wasn't the biggest fan of the food included in our excursion ticket price, but I am a self confessed picky eater, so your experience may be better if you are less fussy than me.

So good and unique place. I will recommend it. Walking trails and nice scenery. But never try to shower in sea or river because here both are more aggressive than common !

Beautiful little place to go for an hour or so. Def before or after lunch as coach loads of people will go. Great plunge pool, beautiful water fall and well sticked bar where you can tickle fish.

Nice place to relax with many warerfalls, a tree which is older than 500 years. Negative point: it's possible for wheelchaired persons or babies with strooler to enjoy it. No facilities for them

I really enjoyed feeding fish from hand in there. They cooked fish with fantastic taste. Also there are a lot of things to take picture of. And be careful - water is really cold (5-6 degrees)

Have been many times but yesterdays visit will be my last, nice surroundings, lovely and cool on such a hot day but spoiled by just mediocre but very expensive food, with (mouldy bread), though service was good, could just have been a bad day? but a long way to go from Fethiye for this.

Fascinating ruins — lots of information and really well managed. The cafe / museum shop / toilets are in great condition, well worth the entrance fee!

Walked from the village- paid 15€ each and walked into the park. Workers were busy restoring the walkway to the original arch entrance. From there until we left we sat nobody at the site. Insane - this is a major piece of history and to have such limited visitors is beyond me. The weather in October is perfect and the grounds are taking shape. Impressive history that needs more visitors to understand the importance of Patara.

Patara historical site & beach are a wonderful place and continue to be so since our first visit 20 years ago. Main issues include the lack of public respect for littering (cigarette butts, plastic bags, etc) on the sand and the absurdly high ticket prices for foreign tourist entry. Ticket prices as of July 2024: We purchased a 10-entry pass (within 10 days) to share between two adults. This cost €45 but the price increased to €80 within the week we visited. Also, they track time of entry for this pass, so if you are visiting on the 10th day of validity, you’ll need to enter before the time of first use. Umbrellas can be rented on the beach for 150TL. I suggest carrying one away from the crowd so you can have a more relaxing time. As for the historical site, I’ve seen quite a bit of improvement and restoration over the years, including the current reconstruction of the lighthouse. It’s absurdly hot and exposed during July, so a midday visit should be avoided if possible. As for litter, it’s slightly better than other beaches in Turkey, but culturally, you’re not going to see the same level of environmental respect you may expect in other places.

It's worth spending an hour or so wandering around the ruins. The amphitheatre is well preserved and you get a great view from the top as well as an insight into what it must have been like to watch theatre and gladiators. Then there is the Assembly room which was surprisingly another amphitheatre. I was struck by how many pieces of buildings, columns and marble were just lying around. There is not a lot of shade so you may want to wear a hat whilst wondering around. PS. We saw a snake sunning itself on one of the paths around the back so watch where you walk!

Such a gorgeous beach! We were here by the end of September, 2025. Current prices are 50tl for access; umbrellas and sunbeds for 250tl. There’s a sign that says no food or drink from outside but we brought our own and so did so many other people and no one said anything or even checked our bags. We couldn’t rent sunbeds as the beach was full by time we arrived (12noon), but we threw our beach towels and it was fine! To my surprise, the water wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be, so it was perfect! Totally recommend to arrive by public bus (dolmus) to avoid the parking hassle. Bus ticket is currently 75tl and runs every 30min. If you come from Kas, you can hop on at the bus station downtown. It stops right outside the main entrance both ways! Here’s the updated schedule.

Great beach, we went at 10h30 in the morning , it was okay but 2 hours later it became crowded so we left at 13h , entrance is 50 lira , sunshade 230l , it quickly gets deep so you should be a good swimmer

One of the most beautiful beaches in Kaş, but services aren’t great and prices are high (almost like a beach club). The café was poor for the price. Stairs up are a bit painful, down is easier than reviews suggest. The sea gets very wavy—check the wind before you go and avoid windy days if you want to swim.

One of turkiye's most beautiful beaches with magical turquoise water. You have to descend several steps to get there. There are douches and changing rooms. The entrance fee is 50 tl.

Kaputas Beach, located between Kas and Kalkan, is an absolute must-visit if you’re exploring this part of Turkey! The beach is famous for its stunning turquoise water and jaw-dropping view from above—you’ll want to snap a hundred photos before you even head down. If you’ve never been here before, put it at the very top of your list. There’s everything you need for a perfect beach day: sunbeds, umbrellas, a café, plus you can always just bring your own towel and relax right on the sand. The beach is free to visit; you only pay a small entrance fee. One thing to know—Kaputas is super popular, so it gets really crowded, and parking can be a challenge. To get the best spot and enjoy a bit of peace, try to come really early in the morning or around sunset. It’s totally worth it!

Maybe in low season is worth a visit , in high season is disgustingly full, the place is nice but too crowded and you will find cigarette butts everywhere, there is a long staircase to get there . 50 liras per person the entry fee. Parking there is a mess and you risk someone parking and blocking your car .

One of the best spots to swim and have a day-fun with friends. The crowd is mostly young adults and boozy. Musics are just fine, it’s not as loud and intrusive as locals believe it is. The staff… Incredibly polite, helpful and friendly. I saw some comments about staff being rude, a flat out lie. Politest staff we have seen in Kas. We liked the food, Hidayet Burger is tasty. The location isn’t great. The beach is halfway through “the peninsula” and there is a minibus for every hours. Hours are a bit chaotic and the steep ramp to the high road doesn’t help. I wish they would cease to use plastic straws. It’s sad to see so many people sip their drinks just by the water from huge plastic straws.

Personally I believe this was the one of the best beaches in Kas. Their skyrocket price points did not match with the offerings. Its very well maintained place, however, bed (sezlong) price was insane. Drinks including coffee were “meh”. Servers were friendly and working really hard. I have seen similar comments about the pricing, seems like everybody is on board with the same thing. Still recommend this place though!

The best beach club in Kaș 😍 Comfy sunbeds, nice chill music that doesn’t bother, crystal clear water without waves. Good infrastructure, cabins, showers, many parking spots. However if you arrive in the afternoon, it will be hard to find a parking spot, so you might pay 100TL for their parking. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time here. The water is amazing! 2 sunbeds + umbrella were 400 tll. We had smoothies (blackberry one was great), iced latte (proper and very well done). We spent the day relaxing here. Showers available. You can come down and swim without paying but we recommend the facilities. Can get quite busy in the afternoon. Overall great experience!

I love this place. The water is pristine. It is like an aquarium. Rocky base, so make sure you wear sandals until you get to the water and consider wearing water shoes. You pay 15TL per bed and 5TL for the umbrella. It is cheap and absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend it to all who come to visit Kaş. Come early as people love this place and it gets packed by 10:30am.

Sea is awesome. Beach is awesome. You at least get service comparing to other famous beaches in Kaş. Its also very good for kids. Shore is shallow and rocky. I think it was the best beach we’ve been so far in Kaş. If you are lucky enough, you get to see caretta caretta’s at the evening. Definetly recommended

decent food, but fantastic location! get there early, even on a thursday it was quite popular (sep 14th). warm and calm water, plenty of food and drink options. truffle fries are great. there’s a coffee bar further back behind the main bar and cash area. they make better coffee/iced coffee. first one we got delivered to our recliners was most likely instant coffee.

It's free, it's small, it has great view of the sea and the Greek island. Come at sunset or sunrise although anytime on a sunny day is great for photos

Wish you light and all your wishes to perform ❤️ i didn't like Kas since i've walked 180 km from Fethyie to Kas just see drunk tourists, sours faces. But what you did that afternoon was amazing - hope to see you one day again 💗

Small beach with looks like 2 beach operators and restaurants, sun chairs and umbrellas. Unfortunately a lot of rubble and papers you have to walk through to get to the beach.

Nice beach club in the city center of Kas, there is a lot of activities to consider: Kayak, Ping-pong, Paddle. Different restaurants available there and affordable price. I recommande this beach club especially if you are visiting Kas without a car

Tasty grilled fish and salad. Turkish tea was on the house. Friendly and attentive waiters!

We had a very good dinner here after sunset. A good selection of home made mezze and tasty main courses.

The place in not only a beach but also breakfast places you can stay in the beach you can live there you dont need to go somewhere else
