Make sure you purchase tickets in advance, because each tour will sell out. Although the docents had us enter in small groups, I wish they kept the crowd flow moving through each room, as it grew very crowded within the rooms themselves. The exhibits are interesting, and it was nice being able to sit in the garden.

I don’t know where to start- am feeling both exhilaration and emotional after visiting Jane Austen’s house earlier today. So to start, absolutely make a booking! We saw folks being turned away or having to comeback like two hours later as slots were booked! It’s a small house and a lot to see / read/ experience and so can understand why the House limits the number of folks that can enter within a twenty minute time slot. Parking is also a bit hard and off-street was our only option. We spent over 3 hours enjoying the various rooms and exhibitions, listen to the audio first and then step into the house. Kudos to the volunteers who help preserve this history. The gardens are lovely as is the opportunity to dress up in period costumes. I feel drunk on happiness to have had the opportunity to visit!

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a sensible traveller in possession of a free afternoon, must be in want of a visit to Jane Austen’s House. Whether one is drawn by the charm of literary devotion or merely in search of a respectable tea-room nearby, the cottage at Chawton cannot fail to supply both instruction and amusement. House and gardens, gift shop and toilets. Friendly and helpful volunteers working in the house. Dressing up optional. Tickets are limited so book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Much of how much you enjoy this museum will depend on your knowledge and appreciation of Jane Austen and her work but even as someone who has not read any of her novels I found the house to be an informative snapshot of her life and of the regency era in general and I commend the curators for their dedication to accurately depicting early 19th century life. Important things to note: the house (and therefore the museum) is small. The operators will only permit small groups (12 max) to enter in twenty minute slots. I highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

A must see for every Jane Austen fan. The house gives such a good impression of how she lived and little details (like the mousseline dresses on the line outside), make it seem as if she just popped out for an errand. After the visit you can sit in the lovely garden.

It’s so great this place exists to honor the author and her contributions. The house and the grounds were lovely. The lawn chairs to sit and relax and just enjoy being in the space was phenomenal. My only small preference would be if there was less “of period” pieces and reproductions in the house; i would have preferred to enjoy the house for what it is and the pieces that are authentic to Jane Austen. I just felt myself trying to seek this out and am worried I might have missed some.

Superb experience on special day due to F1’’s 75th anniversary. Great to see old F1 cars. Engine noise was music!! Too much to walk around but worth it. Foods available. Even gluten free and veggie, catered for all types of people. Saw legendary Prost driving his 1988 car. See the video.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour which is free for Historic Houses members. We were put in a group of about 12 and our guide was informative and interesting, with a sense of humour. The signage both to the car park and then to the house could be better.

Festival of Speed is a must do event for all petrol heads Too much to see in one day. Will definitely be back for more next year

Festival of speed. 1st ti.e visit and didn't know what to expect. Public car parking you need to be onsite from around 06.15 to get a good space and then join the shorter queue. Any later and you will be queuing in the car park. Gets busy as expected. Great watching the bikes, cars and trucks go up the hill. Made it to the top for the rally stage. Off road truck were awesome and wa the F1 and super car padocks. Great to have a large amount of stalls to walk round, including manufacturers stands with various models you can sit in. We walked about 10 miles on the Saturday. Dust was a big issue as it had been so dry. Food was expensive as you would expect from a large event with captive audience. £25 for a 10" pizza, small piece of garlic bread and a can of drink or £8.50 for 2 scoops of ice cream.

Each year, Festival of Speeds held here is amazing. This year, we had classical Rolls Royce and GMA moment here. The House itself only opens to VIPs who has an invitation. I wish I could be invited some day :)

Utterly incredible stately home, rich history stunning setting see the skill and stories of previous history. Everything set in 12000 acres.

The Festival of Speed is simply world-class awesome!!! And brilliantly organised (though they should be prepared to scan QR codes on phones, rather than print hundreds of thousands of paper tickets!!! What a waste.....

A wonderful little museum, which highlights all the exploits of Tangmere and the surrounding RAF centres which took part during WW2 and a celebration of all the record braking RAF planes back in the day. The real stars of the show are all the volunteer staff that run the place, the enthusiasm they have is quite amazing and make your adventure here a top notch experience

Went here for the first time today, was expecting to just spend an hour or two there but we met a lovely member of staff called Kevin who was super knowledgeable and gave us a very informative afternoon and let us have a go on the simulator. Had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return with my son. Cafe served lovely food too. Highly recommend for anyone with an interest in aviation/war. Thank you to all the amazing staff we had a great afternoon.

Spent a good few hours enjoying the displays and exhibitions at Tangmere. Lots to see and interact with for all ages, I highly recommend a visit. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, happy to interact with you and tell stories about their connections to aviation. Visited the Cockpit cafe as well, it had a fantastic selection of homemade classic British cakes! Would visit again

Have been to this museum four times in the last sixteen months. Each visit for me just gets better and better, so much information to read about on the wall panels, about the base history, and the RAF, and some of the wonderful heroes that have served. Maybe lot of people don't realise, this museum is home two very important aircraft, a Hawker Hunter and a Gloster Meteor that were air speed record holders in 1953 and 1946 respectively. There are some very knowledgeable and approachable guides to aid your visit, and a wonderful cafe that does a great coffee, and some fantastic snacks/ light meals. Can't recommend this museum highly enough. Will definitely be back for a couple of visits next year. Many thanks Steve

A very nostalgic museum experience, passionately curated. Feeling a little dated now, but that only adds to its charm. Some fascinating stories and artifacts and some amazing aircraft on display. Just be prepared to do a lot of reading! No issue with the facilities/amenities.

I didn't expect the museum to be that good! The vast amount of knowledge from the people that work there. It was also very interactive. I am still amazed by how much I learnt. How much the people there taught me. I love this kinder of thing. Always been fascinated with ww2. But the attention to detail on everything. I want to go again and read everything. I was there 4 hours and feel like I need a few more hours. The simulator was fun. I'm not a bad pilot until it's time to land. So impressed with the staff that work there. Tremendous work they do. Very pleased with this place. So glad I finally ticked it off.

Fantastic place to walk the dog/dogs. I highly recommend Alice Holt. There are plenty of walking paths, and cycle paths for all abilities. If you are more adventurous Go Ape is also available here, for tree top fun. For children there are play parks and the Gruffalo walk which includes beautiful carved caricatures from the books. There is also a lovely cafe on site.

Great facilities, marble run is a great new addition but the cafe has gone downhill and isn't a patch on what it used to be. Terrible vegan options and eye watering prices, make sure to bring your own food. Parking is also expensive, but in line with all forestry England sites

Lovely place. Autumn leaves looking gorgeous. Disc Golf was great fun. It was good to have a focus of a 'different' activity - and take exercise at the same time.

Lots of trees, a great little cafe, lots of climbing frame things for kids and adults. It's just a great place to go for a walk or a bike ride.

Family trip in February. Car parking is well organised but not cheap. Great trails and plenty of exploring possible. Facilities are excellent, even with a dog wash station if that’s something for you! Play areas are very good and entertained the children for a good while. Highly recommend this place. Best time is later in the afternoon to miss the crowds.

Absolutely fantastic place. Beautiful scenery and walks designed for all ages with directions so you cannot get lost. Great play trail for the little ones to keep them entertained. Lots of space to park (bit pricey) but it hasn't put me off wanting to go again.

Nice selection of birds, so many pretty varieties that we had never seen before. The parrots and cockatoos were entertaining with their chatter and whistles. There are a couple of walk-through areas where you can get up close to the birds. The main cafe area at the entrance is nice with outdoor seating overlooking the gardens. There is another cafe/kiosk, but this was closed when we visited. They are building a new play area which looks like it's going to be quite large. We spent around 3 hours there slowly walking around. For the kids, there is a dinosaur trail. The car park is large and free. Toilets and baby change areas were clean. There is quite a large gift shop. We had a nice half day wandering around.

Larger than expected but very interesting. There are all sorts of birds and plenty to see. For those with children, there are plenty of play bits for them to play and for those without there are benches where you can sit and watch the birds. The park is accessible for wheelchair users. Visually impaired folk will definitely benefit from taking a sighted guide.

Good place to visit after the upgrade made for kids but could have also added play center for toddler separately. The dinosaurs were good additions. Food-wise need to have more options and for the entry price paid the experience is bit on lower end with the birds. The bird world itself has not been updated fully and they seem old n neglected. Finally the parking facilities are lacking with very small spaces considering most visitors are with toddlers and kids and are of low quality.

I am disabled and cannot walk. Please see the end of the review for the only problem i had. Visited today with my wife daughter and her husband and two granddaughter's. We had a great time loads to see and do the birds are great and well displayed. The granddaughter's loved the play areas. All the staff are great. Helpfull, polite and a credit to bitdworld. on the whole it was easy to get round on a mobility class 3 mobility scooter. I have only one complaint and that there was a problem and that is with the disabled toilets it may not sound much but if you are like me on A Class 3 mobility scooter and cannot walk at all it is impossible sitting on one of those scooters and opening a door towards you. I do wish the people who designed these toilets would actually try to get in there whilst at on a large mobility scooter. It takes away your independence completely when you can't even open the door to get in. To pull a door open and hold it open while you driving is completely impossible. I really really wish that somebody would actually try it to see what I mean. Is bad enough being stuck on one of those things without having to ask a complete stranger to hold the door open for you. Please would one of your staff get hold of one of those scooters and try it.

New park is amazing. The kids loved the activity sheet and the dinosaur trail. Can't wait for the new play barn. Food was fresh and good. Only down side, they do not have a changing table for disabled guests, but we were told we could use the first aid one.

A popular day out for us or even a quick stop after nursery to run off extra energy. We invested in the membership this year and have visited Birdworld very regularly to explore every nook and cranny it has to offer. The bonus features of the dinosaur trail, bird bath and adventure play have been a treat too. There are so many beautiful birds and really helpful information about them to learn and raise awareness of endangered species, as well as regular talks from the team who present it so well. The birds are well looked after and the park is so pretty with greenery, flowers, water features, bird photography and beautiful interactive displays of information. There is lots to do for all ages. The paths are wheelchair and buggy accessible and plenty of loo facilities around the park. Lots of parking space and the check-in process is simple and quick even on busy days. Even when the park is busy it doesn’t feel crowded as there’s lots of space to run around, and benches to sit on.

Perfect for all. Not too long to walk around (you could probably rush it in half hour) took us a couple of hours to see everything, but there's plenty of extra play areas and games to keep kids entertained. Special experiences like feeding the penguins are extra, but well worth it.

I recently purchased White Chocolate Cookies from this store and suffered an allergic reaction due to undisclosed egg contamination—an ingredient not listed anywhere in the ingredients or allergen warnings. M&S claims to take food safety seriously, yet they completely failed to properly label allergens, putting customers like me at serious risk. When I reported this serious health and safety issue to M&S Customer Service, I expected a responsible response—at the very least, an investigation into cross-contamination at the store. Instead, I received a dismissive, robotic reply from Michael Ryan, who barely acknowledged the severity of the situation and simply wrote, “I hope you are feeling better now.” As if being poisoned by their negligence is just a minor inconvenience! Rather than addressing the issue, M&S brushed it off with “I’m sorry you were disappointed”—as if this was about personal preference, not a serious allergic reaction that could have been life-threatening. No mention of contacting the store, no attempt to investigate, just a pathetic excuse of “we include a general warning”—which does not excuse the failure to list egg as an ingredient. To make matters worse, M&S falsely advertises that their bakery items are made fresh daily, yet the cookies I purchased on Monday morning were burnt, stale, and clearly several days old. How is that "fresh daily"? Not only did they fail on allergy safety, but they also failed on quality control. M&S clearly does not take allergies seriously, and their lack of empathy and accountability is disgusting. If you have food allergies, do NOT trust their labelling because they clearly don’t care about your safety. And if you’re expecting fresh bakery goods? Don’t bother—you're better off at a supermarket that actually follows its own policies.

I am a regular shopper. On a hot day nice & cool but can get a bit cold. Have lots of different areas chilled, frozen, refrigerated- a bakery section, Fruits veg, flowers, wines & beers, frozen, meat, fish, deli, organic etc. It is quite big & spacious which I like. I have not taken pictures but will soon. Yellow stickers for reductions bring the price down. Self checkout with help & staff checkout. Sell clothing men, women & children. Also homeware, bedding, towels. There is a cafe as well. Also toilets but not great. Offer currency exchange. There is another small M & S at the train station.

I have been to M&S twice this week because sale. I mistaken added a trousers I supposed to removed. Which I realised when I was folding the material since is 70% no refund no exchange. I told the lady please I need to remove the trousers because is a big size. She told me no, since you paid that will be it no exchange .or refund. One British lady name Dotty was passing by she stopped and I told her what going on, straight way she said you can be refunded you have not left the store. Immediately she called their managing level they said and reconfirmed since i haven’t left the store they can refund. Which the non-British lady reluctantly refunded me. Please I am not British. Thank you Dotty from Reading M&S, for helping intervening I am very grateful. You are a Star. I appreciate you. Thanks for being kind and human. 🙏🙏

Marks and Spencer on Broad Street is one of the larger chain stores. Normal format womenswear and food downstairs with menswear and furnishings upstairs. This store has recently revamped a bit and the lower and upper floors are less densely packed with products. Somehow feels emptier. The menswear is pretty good though. Good shirts, good suits, good jackets. And pretty decent knitwear, come on us older guys have to have a bit of knitwear every now and again. Also you can’t really go wrong with the underwear and socks. The food hall is quite large and M&S food is quality (if slightly heavier on the calories…). You also get a decent fresh cut flower and plant section here. Self serve checkouts in the food hall make it a breeze. I like this store and always come in here on a trip into town. It’s M&S - what’s not to like?

Excellent location. Convenient and large, with especially amazing selection of beers, coders, wines and liquor. If you have any favourite flavour or brand. Chances are good you’ll find it here, paired with rare and unusual crisps. Produce and meats are fresh and plentiful, staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of self-checkout lines really cut down on waiting times. The only downside is the price - slightly higher overall than other stores in the area, but worth it for the quality and sortiment.

Love this shop, you can buy food, flower, clothes, home staff, cosmetic staff, exchange currency, little bit expensive that normal, but good quality. Customer service is ok, not to high standard. It is located in Main Street in Reading town. It is two level of shop. There are three entrance in front, back and side door.

It's a decent and well kept M&S. Over two floors, you have a food hall, clothing for men, women, kids, babies, home decoration and even a little bank where you can buy and sell foreign currencies. In the food hall, sometimes the freezer doesn't look well with ice covering the food. Doesn't worth dropping a star just for that but this can be improved. Decent selection of wines but with less reductions and offers than other places. Still I managed to get some bottles of Champagne at a discounted price but it doesn't happen everyday. There is also a small restaurant inside. It has shorter opening hours than the store itself but when it's open, you can get a tasty and healthy takeaway or eat in. That restaurant is in the ground floor near the food hall. I need to specify because they have another one at the second floor but it's less exciting. It has a larger seating area but it's more for a quick coffee and a piece of cake than anything else.

Amazing... It's amazing. So many sculptures set in glorious woods. Very accessible for wheelchair users and plenty to see even though there are areas accessed via steps, it did not feel that the wheelchair user had missed out. Great to be able to take the dog. Great to have full access to QR codes to learn more about the sculptures and their price No food/drink on site, ending the visit with a team /coffee would have made the trip perfect!

When i started the walk around the park I was a little overwhelmed by the number and various sculptures. However as you get into it the meandering path goes through many hidden spaces revealing the hundreds of works of art there. Some have been there for 23 years since it opened and have blended into the environment whilst others are strikingly new and shiny contrasting with the autumnal tones of the forest. If you want to do this properly and allow some time to watch and think I'd suggest you allow 3 hours but you can see all of it in about 2

An unexpected gem! Loved our Saturday afternoon stroll in this fabulous sculpture park! My camera roll is filled with incredible sculptures - I would have taken home all of them if I could! The only point I would say is that the park is (or feels) larger than it is, so you should probably wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for the 2-mile walk around. The placement of the sculptures is brilliant, too - very enjoyable experience!

Wow there are some lovely sculptures at the park. Some very large and some small but all so incredible none the less. The only negative I have to say is it’s not very pushchair friendly (other than the disabled route) and my 2.5 year old found it a little boring.

There are many things I love about the Sculpture Park, but most of all, it’s the fact that it is constantly evolving. Every time we visit, there is something new—whether in the layout or the display. One thing that never changes is the warm welcome we receive; we are always greeted with a smile, and the staff make us feel really welcome. The sculptures are a versatile collection—diverse in material, style, and texture. There is something for everyone, beautifully displayed in lovely natural settings. Our most recent visit was for the event Spirit in Stone - celebrating Zimbabwean craftsmanship. Everything was well-organised - with drinks, catering, gentle live music, and lovely, attentive staff. The artworks were stunning and displayed wonderfully. Happy to hear that such events will be organised again, and we will gladly attend again. In the meantime, the park is well worth a visit—an inspiring place to enjoy nature, art, and beauty.

We spent a wonderful 3 hours strolling round with our dog, taking in all the fabulous sculptures. Some parts need a little care / updating but overall a wonderful way to spend a morning

One of the best Trust houses we have visited. Great art works everywhere in the huge rooms. It was nice to have some seating to relax and enjoy. The grounds are well kept making it a pleasant walk from the car parking area. Seats in the cafe were limited during the rain showers, as one would expect.

Another National Trust gem! Had a wonderful day there. So much to see and wonderful walks in the grounds and deer park. The art collection is outstanding and as usual the volunteers in the house were great. Had an interesting talk in the square dining room about the history of the family. Found the kitchens fascinating!Great cafe too. Highly recommend.

Visiting Petworth House is a great way to spend a few hours. Impressive artwork, including many Turner paintings, sculptures, a Chapel, a deer park, servants quarters, well kept gardens and a cafe with plenty of seating. I found the Main House interesting, and the furnishings gave an idea of how life may have been, but I always like visiting the servants quarters, as they give me more of a feel for the character of the House. The Guides were very informative and came up with interesting facts which added to the experience. The House is about a ten minutes walk from Reception, with a slight incline in places. There is a large car park which was showing as "full" when I arrived, but I, and the cars following behind, managed to find a space.

Petworth is a NT place with huge grounds and a large house. The ground are beautiful and lead down to a lake from the house. The ground here can be quite boggy, even in good weather so be wearing suitable footwear. The house itself is large and you can walk round a lot of it but because the family still inhabit it, a lot of it is still private. They do open up certain extra spaces at points so worth checking out, for example in Oct some of the upstairs is open. Opposite the house are the servants quarters which have been turned into some viewing space alongside a bookshop and cafe. Also there are toilets in here, the only other toilets are before the entrance. There are NT volunteers around the house and they were all very friendly and helpful. The house is quite a walk from the car park however so you will need to be able to walk a distance or use one of the wheelchairs you can borrow (probably best to try and book one). The gardens are spacious and varied from the open space down to the lake by the house to the woodland and dogs on leads can be walked here (not in the house). Definitely worth a visit, in the colder months probably and hour or twos visit but in summer we have spent several hours here exploring the grounds and having a picnic etc.

My first National Trust to visit and this place did not disappoint. Very lovely art displays inside, interesting history, good restaurant, friendly staff. There’s a super big walk outside the actual property which we also did, a lot of deer around the area which was lovely to see. Lake area also beautiful. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nice summer activity.

A truly wonderful day trip to the picturesque village of Petworth allowed us to stroll through its cobbled streets, full of charming cafés and many art galleries displaying antiques and beautiful pieces of art. There’s a convenient parking area and a spacious café within the Petworth House grounds — a perfect place to take a break and look over the map provided at reception. The interior architecture and the abundance of artworks take you back in time, while the gardens outside are stunning and beautifully maintained, offering a heavenly atmosphere in every season. Definitely worth a visit — take your time and enjoy every minute!

Very accessable by public transport via Pulborough station and the 1 bus although you need to get your timings in sync. Superb parkland and interesting in interiors if a little lacking in natural light. Superb staff input and loved the 2nd hand bookshop. A brilliant day out.

Great day out with my 18 month old grandson and family! Lots for him to do and rides to go on. Loved the Barrel Bug Safari! The Splash Pad was a brilliant way to cool down on a hot day. We all enjoyed the Farm Show and Trailer & Tractor ride. All the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful.

Last Sunday our family of four celebrated here with our 6 year old birthday boy! He was greeted with congratulations and a birthday sticker which he loved. Staff were super friendly all day! They also sung happy birthday to him on stage at the family disco! It was a gorgeously sunny day, fairly quiet considering (perhaps due to end of summer?). The tractor ride was brilliant - the lady was so informative whilst driving us around - told us names, ages and personalities of the animals which was great! Lots included for your ticket price and my son said it was an 'epic day!' Jumping pillows, play castle, tea cups, splash attack, meeting the baby animals.. just so much to see and do. Love that you can pay 2 tokens (£2) for a pony ride.. this was his favourite activity! The park was clean, queues were short, it is well spaced out but does not require huge amounts of walking. Sensory Barn was a calm retreat and the indoor play area were fab with thrilling drop slides! Our 9 year old was pleasantly surprised and loved Skyfall 6m, Climbing Wall, Devils Dyke Descent. Just as lovely as we remember (having not been since he was 3!). We will definitely return, thank you Fishers Farm for our memorable day out! 👏❤️

We visited on 02/11/2025 with our 2 and 4 year old. This farm has been designed with children (and their animals) at the heart and it really does show. We had an amazing day and every corner we turned there was something for us to look at, explore or play. Thank you for a great day. I just also want to highlight the staff, every single member of staff was smiling and eager to help or just have a good chat, especially the lovely harlequin ‘guarding’ the little Halloween scary/sweet walk throughs. The animals are so loved and cared for. We have attend manyyyyy of farms and have never seen such happy animals! I also cannot get over how clean the farm was?!? The soft plays and play village are amazing, the outside areas spotless even the animal enclosures. You all deserve a hugeeeee pat on the back. So fairly priced and we cannot wait to come back and visit.

Had a fabulous day at Fishers with my 6 year old son. He particularly loved Skyfall, the climbing wall, Tropicana wagon run, soft play areas / slides and other rides. There was certainly enough to keep him entertained for a full day. He loves the freedom and variety the Farm offers The food outlets were good and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. It is amazing to see how the park has changed and improved over 35 years! We will return again.

Always a great day out at Fishers Farm. We travel from Wiltshire to meet friends half way. I’m happy to see some investment has been made to the park. The new entrance building with the gift shop is lovely. The woodland forest has been completely re done (photos attached). We are excited to try the ringos ramp when it’s finished next time we come as that was still being worked on. We especially loved the new baby sensory area inside. We had a great time at Fishers Farm Adventure Park — it’s a brilliant day out with lots to do and really well suited for younger children. The activities, rides, and play areas are perfect for under 12s, and my preschooler absolutely loved it. That said, it’s not ideal for teens, as there isn’t much to keep older kids entertained for long. Also, the pricing felt a bit unfair — my preschooler had to pay the same price as an adult, which was the only real downside of the visit. Other than that, it was a lovely day, the park is well maintained, and we’d definitely go again!

Visited Fishers Farm Park today with my 17 month old for the first time and wow what an amazing place. I have to say it's in my top 5 of places to go with children. Staff are so friendly and really good with the children, animals are well cared for and looked after and had lovely homes. There is so much to do there for children. So many play areas, rides (most are free), slides, sensory rooms, places to run, places to bounce and places to roam free! We had such a good day here. Food and drink is reasonably priced. Lots of areas to sit and have lunch too! Spent the whole day here and had such a great time! 10000% worth a visit!

Atmospheric ruin, worth a visit if you are in the area. Car park is small, very rough and the entrance is easily missed. No facilities, but excellent information panels.

I can't believe that Bramber Castle ruins are free entry. Not far from the town. Easy access by bus if you don't wanna walk. This castle has a long history. This castle has been found by1st Lord of Bramber William De Braose in 1073 just after the Norman's Conquest. Anyhow it's just ruins left with 14 meter high tower wall. Green place best for picnic with lovely view of countryside from it's high grounds. Parking facility available.

Early Norman castle built around 1070, unusual that the motte is in the centre of the castle rather than at the edge. Beware of the steep sides down into the moat as they can be dangerous.

There is not much to see but the displays are informative. The drive toward the parking lot may be challenging if your car has low clearance. The surface could benefit from being regraded - drive with caution!

Bramber Castle Comes Alive was fantastic and very atmospheric! Sussex Medieval Society were amazing as were the dancers and the other entertainment. The remains of the castle on a hill makes a great location, with stunning views. Gorgeous village with stunning walks.

It’s a nice walk up to the remains of this centuries old castle. The view out over the landscape is breathtaking. Great scenery and plaque information all around. Taken care of by the National Trust it’s a wonderful way to spend a gorgeous English day. Trails for hiking and other places to see around this little village

Amazing!!! Went to see The Lightning Thief- Percy Jackson!! Wow! All the performers were spot on! 100% recommend if you get a chance to watch. Songs were catchy, stage design was great, jokes were just right! Well done to all.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing the Michael Jackson tribute starring Ben at the Theatre Royal Windsor, and it was amazing. From start to finish, the energy was electric and the performance thoroughly entertaining. 🎤 Ben truly captured the essence of Michael Jackson – his voice, moves, and charisma were spot on bringing every song to life. The costumes were stunning and added that extra sparkle to the whole experience. 💡 The stage lights are extremely bright, so if you're sensitive to lighting, you might want to bring sunglasses or sit a bit further back. 🪑 Seating-wise, the chairs are quite snug. If you're on the larger side, I’d recommend booking an “end” seat for a bit more comfort with leg room. That said, the view was really good. 🏰 The location couldn’t be better – right opposite Windsor Castle and surrounded by lovely restaurants, making it perfect for a pre-show dinner or post-show drinks. Parking and the train station is conveniently just around the corner, which made the whole evening stress-free. 👋 The staff could of perhaps provided a more friendly and welcoming experience to the venue. If you're a fan of MJ or just love a good night out, this tribute show is a must-see. Whilst he doesn’t look like MJ if I closed my eyes he did an amazing job at sounding like him 🎶

Amazing staff, they made us so welcome this lunchtime for the Fireman Sam show. What a lovely little theatre, well equipped to cater for little ones with booster seats and helping direct everyone to their seats. They seemed to enjoy the show just as much as the kids too! Thanks again for making it a wonderful experience

Went to watch percy jackson today and it was amazing!!! Although however there was an inconvenient delay in the second half of the performance, still had a spectacular time

This was my first time visiting this venue and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a lovely little theatre with a welcoming feel. The bar area is a good size and I really liked that there were tables and chairs available, rather than having to stand as you often do in many London theatres. Parking was easy, we used Windsor and Eton station car park which is less than a five-minute walk away, making it very convenient. Overall, a great venue and I’d be happy to return.

Aside from the uncomfortable seats, it’s fine. It’s a local theatre with a nice variety of shows. In our three visits, however, we’ve only stayed to the end once. The one time we stayed to the end I had to stand at the back because my legs were cramping up due to the lack of legroom. We left once due to inappropriate content and once because it was too difficult to hear some of the actors. That said, for a local theatre, it’s fine.

Lovely theatre, unfortunately the show we saw, sherlock Holmes, lacked pace, script was obscure and characterisation lacking except for the guy who played lestrad. Really disappointed. The guy next to me fell asleep 4 times.

I came to Salisbury for the cathedral but fell in love with this chapel. I sat down for the last of the service one evening and they were kind to allow me to take a look before closing. I returned the next two days to just sit and enjoy. Highly recommend!!

Visiting Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel on the grounds was beautiful. It was a lovely day and many visitors. The visitors were happy and friendly.

A nice chapel, very informative details shared on the headphone guide set. I also saw the memorial where Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh was buried and also the main church where there were previous royal weddings and funerals. Sadly can't take pictures of inside the chapel.

The chapel in Kings college is amazing, but not quite worth 20+ pounds.

Within the grounds of Windsor Castle and a bit of a misnomer.... chapel, it's more like a cathedral. Epic historical building. No photography allowed inside. Built in the late medieval perpendicular Gothic style. Founded in the 14th century. Definitely worth going to see if you like architecture as the interior is magnificent and awesome.

First time visiting and was blown away at the history and beauty of the Castle, the church and grounds. The town is charming as well. This is a must see, easy trip via overland train from London. Get the audio tour headsets as it’s included and will make the experience worthwhile.

Its an english castle. Well kept. I Its slightly less for value of money. Would advice to buy tickets in advance as that will save money. If you are visiting multiple castles throughout UK, kindly buy a pass for them as that will be cheaper rather than buying tickets at every castle. No pictures allowed inside.

Its a very nice castle to visit with a lot of interesting weapons and armour. The security section is a bit unorganised and chaotic but otherswise a great place to visit. The audio guide is great. Staff is nice.

What a beautiful castle. The tour is well planned and if you love the monarchy and the queen/king things you will be blown away by this gorgeous place. Just don’t forget to book tickets in advance, take the audio guide with you and enjoy a little touch to royal family’s life.

We took the day trip to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge, and it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Steve, was wonderful, he is incredibly knowledgeable and funny. I also want to give a big shout out to our coach driver Carlos who made sure we got to each location in a timely manner. ​Steve shared so many interesting facts, especially at Bath and Windsor Castle my favorite stop. It's a lot to see in one day, but Steve managed the schedule perfectly. Lunch at La cock was a nice touch and very delicious. ​Seeing all these iconic sites in one go was unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour!

The castle is quite large, especially the Royal Apartments, which include many rooms. You should allow around four hours to explore everything calmly and take it all in, and that’s even without taking photos, since photography and video recording inside the apartments are unfortunately not allowed. The castle grounds are beautiful, with lovely trees and a small park. You can also see the royal guards outside, who seem to change several times a day, marching across the castle grounds. We visited on a rainy day, and although the weather wasn’t ideal, there were still quite a few visitors. I highly recommend taking the audio guide, it’s available in several languages and gives an excellent explanation of each building, room, and painting. In the guidebook, the tour starts with the Royal Apartments and then continues to St. George’s Chapel, but in reality, the chapel seems more logical to visit first, as most people turn left rather than going straight uphill to the apartments. Perhaps this is because there aren’t many clear signs outside indicating the order of the route, unlike inside the Royal Apartments, where the directions are very well organized. Because of this, the route can feel a bit confusing, or maybe it was just because we were rushing to find shelter from the heavy rain, as we didn’t have umbrellas. There are several souvenir shops on the castle grounds and a café where you can buy official chocolate, keychains, magnets, books, toys, coins, jewelry, and beautifully designed pens and pencils. From the windows of the Royal Apartments, there’s a truly stunning panoramic view of the inner garden, which, unfortunately, is closed to visitors. The bushes are perfectly trimmed, genuinely royal. We arrived at the castle around 11:00 a.m. and stayed until about 2:45 p.m. Online tickets cost £31, but since it was a Monday in November, there were no queues, so we bought ours on-site for £35 per adult. Before entering, there’s a security check at the gate. Overall, the castle is absolutely worth visiting, a perfect trip for one or one and a half days. The town itself has a great variety of restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops. The train station is right in the centre, about a five-minute walk away. Everything is within walking distance, our hotel was just 10 minutes from the castle, which was perfect, as after dinner in town we could enjoy a short walk back. Since the castle stands right in the heart of the town, there are hotels just across the street, but even those located a bit further away are still very convenient and charming. Parking could be improved, as in most tourist towns in England. We checked several public car parks, with daily rates between £22 and £28. Our hotel had its own secure parking area behind the building, gated and monitored, for £20 per day. It might be worth checking some higher-end hotels, as a few of them may offer free parking, though such options are quite limited.

Fascinating visit, it's everything you expect it to be! £35 for an adult ticket which includes an audio tour. Well organised and the staff are efficient and friendly. Amazing to finally see how the royal family live in the castle and the history is incredible .

The Versailles of British gardening If Kew is the King, then Wisley is unquestionably the Crown Prince beautifully groomed, impeccably mannered, and dripping in horticultural old-money charm. The borders are magnificent. The glasshouse is a cathedral of tropical splendour. Even the ducks appear to have degrees in botany. You don’t visit Wisley you take pilgrimage. Spring brings tulips arranged with mathematical perfection. Summer is dahlia heaven. Autumn is a masterclass in fiery foliage. Winter? Even the frost looks curated. The gift shop deserves its own postcode and a security guard you will leave with at least one book you didn’t need, a mug you don’t have room for, and seeds for plants you cannot pronounce. This is simply the Wisley effect. Bring: Comfortable shoes A packed lunch (or a willing wallet the café is delicious but not for the faint-pursed) A camera, because the borders humiliate your own garden mercilessly If you love plants, go. If you don’t love plants, go anyway you will by the end.

Great place to walk around and blow the cobwebs off on a drizzly Sunday afternoon. The autumnal colours are amazing there's still a surprising number of flowers out. Well with a visit. Check out annual passes as they may not be much more than a day pass (especially if you're a student!).

Stunning day out with the family, to be in awe of nature. Mind-blowing how many different trees/plants/flowers there are around you (all labelled!) and how exquisitely they are maintained by the RHS Wisley team. Managed to get discounted tickets and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing day of walking around all of the different gardens. The indoor glass house is also amazing in what feels like a rainforest climate! Definitely one to check out for the day to get in the clean air and appreciate the incredible creation around us! Ample free parking available.

Fabulous place. Gardens have amazing colours for Autumn. The Glasshouse was my favourite. There was a craft fair there today which had wonderful things. Didn't get round all of it today. So much to see.

Been meaning to go here for years and finally made it on what felt like the hottest day of the year so far. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the old house was a stunning backdrop to some of my photos. I particularly liked the fact there are several cafes dotted strategically around the grounds which enabled us to grab a tea or top up our water bottles as required. All told we had a lovely day out but be prepared for a long walk.

The colours of the autumn leaves were beautiful today. Some amazing plants both in the greenhouses and outside in the gardens. We had a lovely day with the bonus of the Craft and jewellery fair to visit and browse the variety of wonderful products.

The Autumn is as always colourful. Flowering plants are in pastel colours beautifully arranged. Very good and easy walking conditions; this time my friend has been able to use the electric buggy and to enjoy the outing. Pumpkin display was very artistic. An opportunity to take the pictures.

After waiting in a queue for more than 2 1/2 hours, just to get into the park, to then only get on 4 rides in 7 hours was a really big disappointment, especially after paying £40 for a ticket 🎟. To fast track 1 ride per person was an extra £16 each but was still no solid guarantee to be that much quicker in the mile long queues for rides, so unfortunately, my first, and no doubt, last ever visit to Thorpe Park, was massively disappointing to say the least. Bring on the day, a paying customers satisfaction and experience are prioritised over how much money 💰 they can make, and gladly take from us, each day.

The attraction was amazing. We went for fright night and the actors where so nice. Creature campus looked after my niece for me when I went on a ride with my boys because she wasnt feeling up to it and sung happy birthday to her which made her feel so happy to be there. I really recommend coming its a great day out with the family and definitely come for fright night. The food was amazing 100% recommend food. Staff was great. Actors amazing. Survival games scare maze breathe takingly amazing although sometimes you do get split up from the group. We went on a Thursday so it wasn't as busy and the ride queues weren't really long. The actors remembered my niece all through the night and everytime we saw them they would say hello. Also Connie and rattlesnack and all the Frank's are so wonderful and nice. My niece's name is bethany.

Visited on Sunday, 2 November 2025 and had a great day overall. The atmosphere and theming were brilliant. Hyperia was stunning, though both my friend and I (in our thirties) had neck pain after one ride and ended up taking paracetamol, so it might be worth reviewing comfort. One staff member at the curry outlet was unnecessarily rude when I asked her to repeat herself, which took the shine off things. The small Stranger Things shed looked amazing - I would love to see that expanded into a full attraction in the future!

Queues were pretty crazy, 1 hour just to get in! 1 hour minimum for a ride, 2 hours+ for hyperia, if you didn't have a fast pass. Was impressed with the vegan options for food though! Also there are quite a few electric charging points in the car park, which are compatible with the octopus electroverse cars

An amazing theme park, compact and easy to get around, so many extreme rides. Great for teenagers and up, no so for little ones. But be prepared for very long queues if you go on a weekend and in the holidays... try not to, pull a sick day and go in the week! 😅

First time doing fright night at any of the parks. Great atmosphere, decent scare mazes, and riding rollercoasters in the dark was my favourite theme park experience ever. Well worth the money considering the extended opening times.

Thorpe Park is built for thrill seekers. Adult tickets bought in advance start at around thirty-three pounds, but if you pay on the day the price can jump to about sixty-six, so planning ahead makes a real difference. The park is always busy, especially on weekends and school holidays, and while the atmosphere is energetic and lively, the crowds also mean queues can stretch for a long time on the most popular rides!! The rides themselves are the main draw and they don’t disappoint. Hyperia, the new record-breaking coaster, is a breathtaking mix of speed and airtime, while Stealth launches you from zero to motorway speeds in under two seconds. The Swarm twists and dives with enough inversions to leave you grinning or disoriented, and Colossus still holds its charm with ten back-to-back loops, even if it’s a little rougher than newer designs. Water rides like Tidal Wave break things up nicely and are especially refreshing in summer, though almost every major attraction demands patience in the queues. Food inside the park is a mixed experience: there’s plenty of choice, from pizza and wraps to fish and chips, but prices are predictably high, with meals ranging from seven to twenty pounds and more premium sit-down options at the hotel restaurant going higher still. Quality varies but is usually decent, and bringing a few snacks or a refillable water bottle can save money. By the time you leave, tired and likely a little lighter in the wallet, the buzz of the rides and the sheer adrenaline rush usually make the day feel worth it — it’s an experience that delivers thrills in abundance, even if it comes at a price. Far too scary for me .

The gardens are always lovely and such a pleasure to walk in at any time of year. The house was interesting with rooms open to see and lots of exhibits with information about the last owners and guests who had visited. The volunteer staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. A lovely day out.

It's a very beautiful garden and a small house. There's often exhibitions in the house but on this occasion's visit they were getting ready for Christmas. We've been several times before so this time we did a garden tour at 11 am. That made us slow down and notice details, which was really lovely. I thoroughly recommend Nymans. It's beautiful.

Beautiful National Trust house and gardens. The trails are all pushchair/wheelchair friendly and there is so much to do and see. The wildflower garden is amazing and the café and facilities are all very good. I recommend going early as the car park filled up quickly.

Beautiful walk we took the orange route which took 2 hours with the 7 year old in toe but was an easy stroll . All dog owners were respectable and put their dogs on leads before crossing our path. My cane corso is very anxious and still in training it was a very stress free walk . Parking was free and plenty to see . I let my boy take the photos . So this what was seen by a 7 year old

Easy parking, great buggy tour with history talk for those in our party less able to walk. Beautiful gardens, romantic, wild feel to it all. Went for a walk in the woods down to a lake, just remember to take the code from reception so you can get through the gate and back into Nymans

A recent first for us to visit Nymans, and we've been twice in as many weeks..! Fantastic grounds, gardens, and the house too is a spectacular place, in it's semi-ruined state... Autumn also added to the feast of colour for the eyes as well... Will return again, that's for sure... 👍👍👍

lovely garden to wander around. all the NT staff was lovely. went on the free guided walk and learnt a lot. the two cafés are quite busy but remain cozy and the food is delicious. loved the shop as well with a wonderful selection of trinkets, festive souvenirs and national trust items.

I've been visiting Tilgate Park for many years and always have an enjoyable walk, whatever the weather. The walled garden is well kept and always worth a visit. Bought a cake from the cafe to takeaway which was yummy and homemade; although it's not always open so best to check before visiting/ relying on it being open for lunch/ snacks. There are features to see around the park and there are activities if you want to do them. Generally a lovely place to explore

My family and I had a wonderful experience with dinosaurs in the park, and my children love it! Their playground was a nice to play and lovely view of Tilgate Park. Stall foods were there and ride as well. It is good and fun for the May half term bank holiday weekend. 🦕☀️😍

For every age groups there this park has a place for them . Whether you enjoy a dog walk or sit and view birds or ducks on the lake or play with kids . Cafe shops are good .

Massive grounds with something for everybody; lakeside and woodland walks, a zoo, children's play atea and a couple of cafes - we visited the walled garden cafe. The grounds are dog-friendly and there is plenty of space for families and picnics.

We stayed with family and they took us to this park. Beautiful park to visit and see. They had a dinosaur theme and fair, great for the kids. Definitely worth it if you’re in that area.

Gorgeous open spaces. Their playground is huge. Boats to go on the lake are severely over priced so avoided those. Lovely day out.

Here are some tips to help you make the most of a day in Cassiobury Park if you’re going for the miniature railway: 🚂 Miniature Railway Ride times are 11 am – 5 pm. It’s a short, fun trip through the trees that kids (and adults!) love. 🎶 Bandstand Today, 3 pm – 5 pm, the Big Bandstand series is on. Free live music in the heart of the park—great to relax after the train ride. 👧 Playgrounds Two big playgrounds: The Hub Playground near the Cha Café has water play features (splash area in summer), climbing frames, and swings. The Lower Playground near the paddling pools is best for younger children. 🍴 Food & Drink Cha Café (by the Hub): Independent café with sandwiches, cakes, kids’ lunch boxes, and good coffee. Gets busy at lunchtime, so earlier or later is best. Ice-cream vans and kiosks are dotted around the park. Plenty of picnic spots if you’d rather bring your own. 🌳 Walks & Extras Lovely riverside walks along the Grand Union Canal (just beyond the railway). Wide open spaces for ball games or frisbee. If you’ve time, stroll through the nature reserve area at the far end of the park—it’s quieter and great for spotting wildlife. 👉 A nice flow for your day could be: Morning: Playground + railway ride Lunch: Picnic or Cha Café Afternoon: Canal walk

This is such an amazing park, for people living around it’s a bliss. It is such a large and lovely place. Large tress with water bodies running canals gives a wholesome feel of forest and countryside.

Amazing and beautiful park for walks with your dog. It has a lot to offer not only to pet owners but also to parents or anyone who enjoys nature 2h free parking included but remember to take a ticket even for free period. There are at least 2 cafe points there, these are a bit pricey but they have good coffee.

The park is our lifeline. The cafes are fantastic so as the people. I feel relaxed and overwhelmed with natural feelings. We also enjoy the fireworks every year. It’s a great experience.

I recently visited Cassiobury Park for the Bake Fest event, and it was a really lovely experience. The park itself is beautiful — spacious, green, and well looked after, with plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. The Bake Fest was a real highlight: so many stalls with delicious baked goods, as cakes and pastries. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and it felt like a great community event. Cassiobury Park is already a great place to spend time, whether for a walk, picnic, or just to relax outdoors, and events like Bake Fest make it even more special. I’d definitely recommend visiting, especially when something like this is happening!

Lovely and clean park. Good for running, walking your pets, or just chilling. Quiet and serene with lots of seating areas and a small play area for kids. There's also a canal there with a mini waterfall that looks nice.

Friendly staff and security bar one mismog. Give someone a uniform eh...! Charming looking building outside. Lovely building inside. Recently revamped. Bar prices were fair. No large queues. Large seating area outside of stage area. Large standing area. Not the best acoustics here., perhaps it was the bands sound engineer making a bit of a pigs ear of it. Shall give the venue the benefit of doubt on that one.

Went to watch Jake Bugg. Great venue, friendly staff, we didn't have to queue long. Just wish we knew there was another bar further inside as we did have to queue quite a while for drinks. Cloakroom (£2) and plenty of toilets available.

We travelled here to see a music concert. The Colosseum has recently reopened after refurbishment and it was looking good. Thoughtful and classy looking refurbishment. Friendly, happy staff. Good selection of drinks though only crisps were available as a snack. Sound quality/acoustics were good and the layout helped produce a great atmosphere.

The newly refurbished colosseum was worth the wait. A delightful venue with many great events to look forward to. Bar prices seemed high which was the only negative to my first night with a concert by the BBC Concert Orchestra

Went to see Ocean Colour Scene. Apparently this is the first concert since they've refurbished this venue. And wow, they have done a magnificent job. I think there were three separate bars, where I found service was fairly swift. There's plenty of parking very close to the Colosseum. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

I went to Party 101 at the Watford Colosseum last night. The show itself was absolutely amazing — the atmosphere and sound system were excellent, and the performance was top-notch. Unfortunately, the organisation outside and at the bar let the night down. The queues were massive and very poorly managed. After waiting ages, we saw security suddenly begin pulling people from behind us and letting them in through a different entrance. This meant people who had only just arrived — and queued for five minutes — got inside before those of us who had been waiting much longer. If queues needed to be redirected, this should have been done from the front fairly, not from the back. There were also issues at the bar. Around 10 minutes after the performance began, alcoholic drinks stopped being served because staff had served a minor. This is completely unacceptable. IDs should always be checked, especially when knowing an event is 14+. This mistake meant the bar was closed just as the event was starting, spoiling the experience for many. I wasn’t desperate for a drink myself, but at a dance event like this, the atmosphere is definitely better when guests can enjoy refreshments responsibly. Overall, fantastic show but let down by poor queue management and serious bar staff failures. I hope the Colosseum reviews its procedures because the performers and production deserved better support.

Easy Parking and restaurants nearby, big venue maybe 2000 capacity,clean,safe,nice kind staff. Huge reverb and very bad sound mix in the balcony but that maybe sound tech issues not the venues fault

Gorgeous day at the Tulip Fest in April. Got there very early whilst it was quiet and we were shocked by how massive it was and how much there was to do! The tulips were gorgeous and so impressive. Great food and information everywhere, friendly staff and lots to do and see!

Amazing Autumn Atmosphere! This pumpkin farm offers an absolutely amazing experience that goes far beyond simple pumpkin picking. The overall environment is welcoming, festive, and truly captures the spirit of the season. What truly elevates this spot is the phenomenal attention to detail in the spooky decoration. It's clear a huge effort was made to create a fun, slightly eerie atmosphere, providing fantastic photo opportunities at every turn. From hay bales to haunted props, the decor makes this the ultimate autumnal destination. The selection of gourds was plentiful, and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommended for a memorable, festive, and wonderfully creepy fall It was amazing 👏 I like the environment and spooky decoration!

I went pumpkin picking, and it turned out to be the perfect autumn activity. The atmosphere was festive and full of Halloween spirit, making it a wonderful place to visit during the season. It was such a fun and memorable experience!

Pleasant few hours spent picking pumpkins and toasting marshmallows with the kids. Most of the 'growing' pumpkins had already gone, but plenty more had been shipped in and were dotted around the field to select from. Lots of different varieties also available from the stores if you don't fancy pushing a wheelbarrow around the field! Didn't fancy the Ferris wheel, but probably provides great views if you don't mind heights.

Decided to relive my teenage nostalgia and return to Shocktober for the first time in seven years. Previously it was the place to go and made for a tremendous experience. This time round, it's sadly lost its touch. Massively oversold and overcrowded, it's clear profit is put before experience whereas it once was the other way round. Thankfully I’d purchased some fast track in advance as queue times were obscene. Even still, I had to queue for 10/15 mins in fast track lanes at times. Pros -Purgatory was quality and my favourite of all time. "Free Roaming" actors like the Skinfluencers were very funny and entertaining. Set design was absolutely fantastic as always. Cons - Far too many people allowed into haunts at a time/with too little time between groups. You'd either be caught up by the group behind or catchup the one infront. This KILLED the immersion and enjoyment massively. The flouting of their own rules was not enforced? There are clear rules that say no smoking/vaping, no face masks etc yet I saw people lighting up in the queues and a fair few road men in their finest bin bag attire (to impress their underage girlfriend) walking round ballied up like they've just robbed a bank. I know it's close proximity to Crawley but come on now... Better still was “security” where only those with a bag would be searched. If you hadn’t a bag, you were free to walk in with whatever you fancied! Knife? Acid in a lucozade bottle? Drugs? Must be part of your costume eh lad. Maybe that’s a critique due to my line of work but it did feel a bit pointless. All in all a shadow of its former self. I still had fun however and glad I returned, but think this'll be the last trip full stop. Kudos to the actors and event staff, they all work hard and probably for minimum wage. Sadly I don’t think the experience will be salvageable unless they actually cap ticket numbers drastically.

We had such a fantastic afternoon at Tulleys Farm. From the beautiful fall decor, the very large pumpkin patch, the roaming singers and cast in costume to the marshmellow roast stations (or smores station as they sell a kit too), pumpkin spice latte and ferris wheel we could only have a great time. We got to pick our own pumpkins straight from the patch and carry them in a wheelbarrow made available by the team who was nothing but welcoming. Can't carry big pumpkins home ? Fear not their collection of pumpkin plush toys will definitely call your name. If coming from London, you can either take the bus or more easily take a taxi as there are some available there just waiting to get you home safe. We will definitely make it a yearly tradition !

Shocktoberfest was excellent. Live bands, loads of scary things to do. The sacare mazes were great. Loads of different food stands and bars. The ste is absolutely huge, with a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going again.

A stunning wild botanical garden. Really awe inspiring and thoughtfully planted. Fun for children and adults, my daughter enjoyed the mud kitchen and having fun amongst the trees. Cafe was quite expensive so will bear that in mind for our next visit. Plenty of spaces to have a picnic.

Gorgeous site, especially in autumn. Lovely for walks, they have a nice gift shop too. Cafe serves delicious vegetarian and vegan options. The mud kitchen is fantastic for kids.

My daughter & I hadn't been to Wakehurst for quite a long time. I had forgotten just how beautiful it is here. We walked farther than usual and got to enjoy some of the most beautiful parts. Although be warned, when the map says it's a steep hill, it's truly steep 🤣 We certainly got out workout in!! The staff are lovely too, very helpful. It was reasonably busy for a Sunday but not overcrowded at all. We'll definitely return soon no doubt.

Great botanical garden with a variety of views. I would highly recommend visiting the Himalayan glade and pond. Do be aware that the blooms vary quite a lot between seasons, so you may not get to see the same as my images. Good restaurant with reasonable options and prices on site. Ice cream van with good selection too.

Probably the most amazing gardens I have ever been to! It was very impressive and large and every single part was beautiful. We spent hours looking around in the sunshine and had a great day! So much to see!

This sister to Kew Gardens is a fine place to spend a few hours wandering around the wooded estate and the attractive small mansion house. Notwithstanding the importance of the scientific and conservation carried out by the Millenium Seedbank, for many visitors the main attractions are the walking trails through the over 500 acre wooded countryside, featuring some of the world's most magnificent trees. These include a substantial number of the world's most massive tree, the giant Californian Redwood, which, despite their relative youth, have already ready reached an impressive 36 meters, and, not to be missed, are the weirdly drooping freaks of the same species. Children up to 16yoa have free entry, adults are £18.50 and young people are 50% of the adult rate. Car parking additional. Hot and cold food at the Stables Kitchen Restaurant and cafes. It is not cheap, but it is a great day out for the whole family.

Kensington Palace was stunning. The exterior architecture and interior artworks, styling, ceiling paintings, and flooring were terrific to view. A new designer exhibit showcased a range of clothing influenced by various royal eras. The artwork in the King's Gallery was stunning, and the wallpaper in a hallway was designed with different Diana images. The exterior sculpture of Queen Victoria is excellent. There is a cafe and toilets in Kensington Palace.

Great palace to visit. The scheduled talks are absolutley amazing , i strongly recommend you take time out of your visit to listen to them. Most sections of the museum felt filled to the brim with interesting things to see. A few sections felt a bit empty but not many. Entry is slightly confusing with queues forming outside before the scheduled entry time. Great audio guide too.

Visited on my last day in London for a last little cultural detour. It was really lovely, easy to find my way around and the audio guide was perfect. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to see a little history and you don’t have much time (took me approx an hour).

Always love visiting the palace and this was for the Dress Codes exhibition. That was small but amazing to see. Loved the gift shop and bought another tea towel. The cafe was almost closing when I went but still served me. Great staff.

I had actually visited the cancel before but was back to attend the Dress Codes exhibition. I thought that was disappointing, I expected to see a lot more, but the palace is great.

I recently visited Kensington Palace and found it a really interesting experience. Walking through the rooms gave me a real sense of history, almost like stepping back in time. We had a double date this weekend at Go Paintball London, also to celebrate a birthday too. The team were welcoming and so friendly. They were attentive and helpful to all of our enquiries and needs. We had a great time, every one of us enjoyed our day. Definitely a day to remember. Papa John’s was perfect too - fresh and hot! Thank you for every team member for making our double date/ birthday weekend special and enjoyable.

We had a lots of fun two weeks ago, it was muddy and windy after rains, which turned out perfectly for us - not many ppl and also more friendly as we’re First-time players. Megan and Beans had been so patient and proactive! Explained everything nicely even though there’re only four of us at the beginning. Four games and proper breaks with pizzas, truly a smooth and wonderful day thanks to all lovely staffs especially Megan and Beans! We will (already) definitely recommend friends and family to enjoy a day here!

Booked a mini paintball party for my son’s 9th birthday. It was well organised, lots of information provided before and during the event. Mel and the team were friendly and very helpful throughout. The boys had the best time. We ordered pizza through the venue with the 30% off delivered on time and very much appreciated!

We had an amazing experience at GO Paintball London while celebrating our friend's 30th birthday. The staff members were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. We enjoyed Papa John's pizzas for lunch. The variety of games offered made for a fantastic day out. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I highly recommend booking in advance.

We had such an amazing experience! Our time at Go Paintball London was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful. We've visited a few other paintball spots, but nothing compares to this one! The games were thrilling, the gear was top-notch, and we had a blast. A huge thank you to the entire team at Go Paintball London for making our day so fun and enjoyable! My kids and I can't wait to come back!

It was my eldest 16th birthday and I took three of his friends to go paintball. Spoke to Mel in the week before the date he was going paintball. She was brilliant sending me all the information about the all the packages on offer. And when it come to the day the team really make you feel welcome , they are always on hand to ask questions and to see if they can help. Would recommend it to anyone who is going paintball to use them as I have already done to the company I work for .

It's an incredible museum, with thousands of artifacts housed in a vast space. You don't need to purchase a ticket in advance; free tickets are available at the door. You'll need a few hours to explore the entire site. If you're interested in science and technology, you'll be left wishing you'd seen it sooner.

Ran out of tune. Will have to return another time for floors 2 and 3. Enjoyed the future of food exhibit which was very informative. My favorite is the space and flight sections but went there a little too late. I also liked the medical exhibits. Also only skimmed through the watch collection and transportation hall. The museum is very well organized into different subject matter. It is also easy to walk because of the long shape of the building so we walk and view the exhibits without worrying about hidden areas we might miss like other museums. Will definitely return.

Had an amazing day here. Felt like a child exploring and learning about all the exhibits(as much as I could). I thought we'd be able to get in a couple of museums before catching a flight out of London but I was wrong. The exhibits are captivating. At certain exhibits you will be jostling for space with families and kids. But it is worth it. PS- The entry is free but you have to use a QR code and buy tickets(£0).

My daughter and I went with her 3.5 and 6 year old little boys. We probably only saw about 35% of the museum, but what we saw was fabulous! I definitely want to go back when my husband and I are next visiting London. It was spacious, with well thought out exhibits. We arrived a little after 10 on a Sunday and it was a good time to be there.😊

The museum is really interesting and less crowded than the nearby Natural History Museum. If you’re a long-time engineer, you’ll feel a touch of nostalgia in the historical section dedicated to telecommunications, internet, and technology. Many of the things I used as a child are now on display. What a trip down memory lane! Some pieces are truly remarkable, especially in the supercomputer section.

You can book a time slot ticket for free online before hand. This ensures you dont have to queue if it gets too busy. Truly a must visit Museum in London. There are so many different exhibitions that you can easily spend 3 hours here. Of course the main attraction is the Blue whale skeleton, called hope. It weighs 4.5tonnes and measures 25.2m long. This is a real blue whale skeleton and not a model! Can you imagine! There is a dinosaur exhibition and for your info, most of the bones on display are actual dinosaur bones! If you see its dated, then its real dinosaur bones. Other than that there are other paid exhibitions available throughout the museum.

The museum is well-maintained and full of interesting collections. Natural History Museum in London and was truly impressed. The building itself is stunning with its grand architecture and detailed interior. The dinosaur and gemstone exhibits were fascinating and well-organized. I especially enjoyed the interactive sections that make learning fun for both kids and adults. Spending few hours here may not enough. I recommend booking paid tickets for elderly visitors.

Always love going to museums where ever I go to take in the local perspective. It is free entry with donation recommended, which is easy once you see what this place has to offer. This would have been one of the larger sites I have visited in my travels. It has a large variety of collections spanning several floors. I really enjoyed most of the galleries I saw, with their interactive displays that complement the static representations. We literally spent all afternoon their until close and still didn't get a chance to see the whole building. Missing out on the Darwin, and some of the green sector. From what we did see the rest of the place would be just as amazing. Since it's free entry it can definitely be a 2 day walk about. The place is large and requires a bit of sauntering. There are lots of benches and presentations that you can sit while you watch. Which is nice for those who have mobility challenges. Overall, a great visit but if you really like to hit every inch, it's a whole day visit so keep that in mind.

Well kept clean and spacious. Wheel chair acess though out and entering with no steps . Its extremely hot inside even in November. Could do with air conditioning. Lots of history with lots of animals. Great for kids all ages and adults. Toilets and disabled toilets on site with a cafe which is rather expensive so I would recommend brining yours own lunch in if you are a family. 2 coffees and a cookie was approximately £15 . Over all a great experience and very educational. If you home educate your children its worth a day trip in to London to visit the museum. Today, I took a group of elderly visitors with dementia to the London History Museum. Our group varied in mobility — some were able to walk independently, one used a walker, and two were in wheelchairs. We had a brilliant time exploring the different rooms, and the earthquake experience was truly amazing and impactful for everyone. The museum was quite busy with several school groups, which did raise some concerns. One of my members was bumped into twice by a school group, causing them to become unsteady on their feet. While the school group was apologetic, the situation was a little disappointing. The only drawbacks were that the toilets are quite spread out across the museum, and the lifts were sometimes difficult to use due to limited capacity and unclear floor labels. Despite this, we managed to navigate successfully. It was nice to see seating areas scattered around the rooms, providing opportunities for rest. Booking disability parking was straightforward and very helpful, with friendly staff assisting us both on arrival and when we left. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d love to return with my family next time for a more flexible visit

For a free entry this museum was absolutely incredible. A very wide variety of exhibits from a multitude of scientific fields. Definitely take your time and explore the entire building. Enjoyed looking at all the different animal exhibits. The dinosaur section of the museum was very fascinating to go through 🦖. I also enjoyed the geological sections. It really does seem that the museum is promoting education at no price! 👨‍🔬 A must visit if you're in the area.

I recently visited the V&A with a friend to see the Cartier Exhibition. It was great, even though it was a bit crowded, which meant no hanging about. However, there were opportunities to return to an exhibit if you wished. I visited on a lovely autumn afternoon and the colourful trees outside added to my enjoyment. There's also a beautiful cafe for a wide selection of food and drinks. It's one of my favourite museums to visit as they put on great exhibitions on a wide variety of subjects. I recommend it highly as a wonderful place to visit anytime.

If you’re anywhere near South Kensington, the Victoria & Albert Museum is one of those places you absolutely must pop into. As someone who’s lived in England for years, I can honestly say the V&A never gets old. What surprised me the most on my recent visit was just how incredible the ceramics collection is. If you’re even slightly into pottery, porcelain, glazes, or anything to do with craft and kiln work, you’ll be blown away. There are shelves and walls filled—and I mean filled—with pieces from all over the world, from tiny delicate bowls to massive vases taller than a child. You could easily spend half a day in the ceramics section alone. And it’s not just ceramics. The museum has an impressive range of sculptures as well—scrubbs, marble carvings, classical statues, and pieces that make you wonder how on earth someone carved something so smooth out of stone. You walk through a hall and suddenly you’re surrounded by history in 360 degrees. The jewellery gallery is another highlight. It’s not just “oh that’s pretty”—it’s genuinely fascinating. Crowns, brooches, rings, intricate metalwork… some pieces are hundreds of years old, shining under the lights like they were made yesterday. One thing I really love about the V&A is how hands-on it feels. They’ve got sections where you can take a closer look at materials, textures, and even a few areas where touching certain samples is allowed. And if you love photography or design, the V&A has a bit of everything—fashion, textiles, prints, historical photos. It’s like a treasure chest that never ends. Honestly, if you’re truly into art, craftsmanship, or history, one day is nowhere near enough. You think you’ll breeze through it, but the more you look, the more there is. It’s the kind of place where you follow one hallway, and suddenly you’ve discovered an entirely new world. So yes—highly recommended. If you’re visiting London, the V&A should be right near the top of your list. Free entry, world-class collections, and genuinely inspiring. Come for an hour and you’ll wish you stayed the whole day.

The artifacts linked to Maharaja Ranjit Singh—his weapons, jewelry, and artistic treasures—were beautifully preserved and displayed with great respect. Seeing them filled me with immense pride for my heritage. The staff at the museum were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Each section was well-explained and thoughtfully organised. For anyone interested in Punjab, Sikh history, or Indian heritage, the V&A Museum is truly a treasure. I highly recommend this museum to every traveller visiting London. It’s not just a museum—it’s a place where you feel connected to your roots.

Such an Amazing Museum. Amazing exhibitions and gallery and displays to view your mind. Make sure to have 4 hours spare to take in all the displays. World class. Take well organised. Great food in the cafe at a reasonable price. Make sure to dine in the Victorian cafe.

A Truly Remarkable Day! I simply can't recommend the membership strongly enough! My visit to the Marie Antoinette exhibition today was truly remarkable. Not only was the collection breathtaking, but the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the day. My daughter and I wore period-style Marie Antoinette costumes, and it was lovely to feel welcomed and celebrated. Every single person we encountered was charming and pleasant. What a fantastic museum experience!

Free to enter for their main exhibits, except for special exhibitions. But there's plenty to see and explore in the different courts, organised by theme, geographical area and time period. Wheelchair accessible Look out for the giant statue of David in the Cast Courts, as well as the rather large pillar of Trajan. Also, the collection of sculptures donated by Auguste Rodin. If you like Jewellery, head up to 2F.

A truly iconic place in London. Such a spacious and relaxed place to be in whatever season. A dog friendly and kids friendly park to be with a number of coffee kiosk and toilet scattered in the park. My fabulous place is near the round pond and the Diana memorial gardens. Definitely worth a visit either bring a tourist or resident here.

The Hyde Park located in Central London is one of the finest places to visit for any tourist or resident of the city. It is a huge park spread over several acres of land. It has open spaces where you can see walkers, joggers, cyclists, pets, people playing and pedestrians enjoying the view and nature. Many musical and social activities are conducted here. A large Lake called Serpentine Lake adorns the Park where boating and swimming at select places is available. The park also has landmarks such as Diana Memorial Fountain, Speakers’ Corner, Holocaust Memorial etc. One can watch ducks and other flora and fauna as we walk through. A visitor can enjoy food and drink at the Serpentine Cafe. A pleasure to visit.

A cold December morning turned Hyde Park into an unexpected winter scene, with the lake frozen and large birds moving slowly across the ice. The silence of the water contrasted with the movement of swans, geese and gulls, creating a rare and almost cinematic atmosphere in the heart of London. Visiting the park in December 2023 meant experiencing it at its most striking: cracked ice catching the light, birds gathering near the shore, and long paths bordered by bare trees. Walking through this landscape was genuinely memorable. The wildlife is surprisingly close to visitors, and moving among these impressive birds adds an immersive dimension to the experience. Despite the winter cold, the park remains well maintained, with wide, clean paths and plenty of open spaces for photography, long walks or moments of quiet. Along the lake, a refreshment area offers hot drinks and light snacks, which is ideal when exploring the park in colder months. Seating options—indoors and outdoors—make it a comfortable stop before continuing along the Serpentine. Hyde Park is suitable for solo travellers, families and anyone looking for a calm break within the city. Its winter charm, wildlife presence and vast green areas make it one of London’s most rewarding urban parks.

Hyde Park is one of my favorites, because when you want to have a long walk, it's absolutely something you can do. And the experience of so many animals is absolutely incredible. And this time I also got to see a riding training of the guards. And that was terrific, because I haven't had the chance to just see one training, but there were another squad training in the open. And it was so beautiful to see those horses, the guards with all the gear on, doing their training. It was so amazing. And I had such a great time wandering around Hyde Park, discovering areas I haven't had the chance to discover by now. So if you want to have a long walk, I encourage you to just let your intuition guide you, because then maybe you also catch a training session from the guards on horses. 🐴🤩

Park that is very nice for walking, running, having a snack or picnic. Events, and the most amazing of it is that it is in the middle of the city and it has so many animals like squirrels, birds, and more. It is lovely, I recommend a walk there if you are in London ❤️

Very nice combination of activities, sight seeing, nice eating and drinking. Have shows and attractions. Clean and save. In the 'bavarian' tents the atmosphere ist great. Worte while for a visit.

We had a great time. Went on a weekday so it wasn't too busy but we still had to queue about 20 minutes. Loads to do inside and plenty to eat and drink. It is definitely overpriced - £11 for a 7-year-old to go on a ride where they need to be accompanied by a fee-paying adult meant we had to restrict the fun to just a few rides. Still glad we went though

Its a nice park. I though it was a winter market, but it's a attraction park instead. It was fun, even though everything costed way too much, and there's nothing to without paying.

My 1st time going to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and it’s a must to visit at least once. I enjoyed seeing all the rides, eating , drinking and people watching. I recommend to prebook your tickets as gets extremely busy and also go early though the queues were just as long regardless the time of the day. You need a lot of patience while there as a lot of crowd and hold on to your belongings and watch out for pick pocketers. Would I go again? For now I say no as have been already but never say never! 😊

Place gave us a wonderful experience of Christmas celebrations during winter. Enjoyed the kiddy rides with the Santaland tickets with unlimited rides at a small area, for my 4 and 7 year old. We booked the morning tickets and there were practically no queue for the rides!! Throughly enjoyed ourselves. Food was easily sourced, albeit a bit expensive. Halal food readily available at many store.

A long queue to get in, fun rides and good food! Mulled wine in the cold weather is always a delight. Get your tickets in advance. Suggest going on a weekday.

Although I went once before many years ago, and I loved it. I said that I would go again this time. After that, I bought tickets online, which seems totally stupid to me, and it's not just my opinion, you have 2-hour slots to choose from, after which you stay in huge queues to enter. In 2017, there was no entrance, and the queues were the same. So I waste my time in queues and pay more. The security checks were done superficially. Although it was raining lightly, we couldn't find a place to take shelter anywhere. It was super crowded. You mainly ensure your fun. It matters who you are with, not necessarily where. But I'm sure I won't come back next year either. It's not a disparaging review. it is just a personal opinion.
