I recently purchased White Chocolate Cookies from this store and suffered an allergic reaction due to undisclosed egg contamination—an ingredient not listed anywhere in the ingredients or allergen warnings. M&S claims to take food safety seriously, yet they completely failed to properly label allergens, putting customers like me at serious risk. When I reported this serious health and safety issue to M&S Customer Service, I expected a responsible response—at the very least, an investigation into cross-contamination at the store. Instead, I received a dismissive, robotic reply from Michael Ryan, who barely acknowledged the severity of the situation and simply wrote, “I hope you are feeling better now.” As if being poisoned by their negligence is just a minor inconvenience! Rather than addressing the issue, M&S brushed it off with “I’m sorry you were disappointed”—as if this was about personal preference, not a serious allergic reaction that could have been life-threatening. No mention of contacting the store, no attempt to investigate, just a pathetic excuse of “we include a general warning”—which does not excuse the failure to list egg as an ingredient. To make matters worse, M&S falsely advertises that their bakery items are made fresh daily, yet the cookies I purchased on Monday morning were burnt, stale, and clearly several days old. How is that "fresh daily"? Not only did they fail on allergy safety, but they also failed on quality control. M&S clearly does not take allergies seriously, and their lack of empathy and accountability is disgusting. If you have food allergies, do NOT trust their labelling because they clearly don’t care about your safety. And if you’re expecting fresh bakery goods? Don’t bother—you're better off at a supermarket that actually follows its own policies.

I am a regular shopper. On a hot day nice & cool but can get a bit cold. Have lots of different areas chilled, frozen, refrigerated- a bakery section, Fruits veg, flowers, wines & beers, frozen, meat, fish, deli, organic etc. It is quite big & spacious which I like. I have not taken pictures but will soon. Yellow stickers for reductions bring the price down. Self checkout with help & staff checkout. Sell clothing men, women & children. Also homeware, bedding, towels. There is a cafe as well. Also toilets but not great. Offer currency exchange. There is another small M & S at the train station.

I have been to M&S twice this week because sale. I mistaken added a trousers I supposed to removed. Which I realised when I was folding the material since is 70% no refund no exchange. I told the lady please I need to remove the trousers because is a big size. She told me no, since you paid that will be it no exchange .or refund. One British lady name Dotty was passing by she stopped and I told her what going on, straight way she said you can be refunded you have not left the store. Immediately she called their managing level they said and reconfirmed since i haven’t left the store they can refund. Which the non-British lady reluctantly refunded me. Please I am not British. Thank you Dotty from Reading M&S, for helping intervening I am very grateful. You are a Star. I appreciate you. Thanks for being kind and human. 🙏🙏

Marks and Spencer on Broad Street is one of the larger chain stores. Normal format womenswear and food downstairs with menswear and furnishings upstairs. This store has recently revamped a bit and the lower and upper floors are less densely packed with products. Somehow feels emptier. The menswear is pretty good though. Good shirts, good suits, good jackets. And pretty decent knitwear, come on us older guys have to have a bit of knitwear every now and again. Also you can’t really go wrong with the underwear and socks. The food hall is quite large and M&S food is quality (if slightly heavier on the calories…). You also get a decent fresh cut flower and plant section here. Self serve checkouts in the food hall make it a breeze. I like this store and always come in here on a trip into town. It’s M&S - what’s not to like?

Excellent location. Convenient and large, with especially amazing selection of beers, coders, wines and liquor. If you have any favourite flavour or brand. Chances are good you’ll find it here, paired with rare and unusual crisps. Produce and meats are fresh and plentiful, staff is friendly and helpful. Lots of self-checkout lines really cut down on waiting times. The only downside is the price - slightly higher overall than other stores in the area, but worth it for the quality and sortiment.

Love this shop, you can buy food, flower, clothes, home staff, cosmetic staff, exchange currency, little bit expensive that normal, but good quality. Customer service is ok, not to high standard. It is located in Main Street in Reading town. It is two level of shop. There are three entrance in front, back and side door.

It's a decent and well kept M&S. Over two floors, you have a food hall, clothing for men, women, kids, babies, home decoration and even a little bank where you can buy and sell foreign currencies. In the food hall, sometimes the freezer doesn't look well with ice covering the food. Doesn't worth dropping a star just for that but this can be improved. Decent selection of wines but with less reductions and offers than other places. Still I managed to get some bottles of Champagne at a discounted price but it doesn't happen everyday. There is also a small restaurant inside. It has shorter opening hours than the store itself but when it's open, you can get a tasty and healthy takeaway or eat in. That restaurant is in the ground floor near the food hall. I need to specify because they have another one at the second floor but it's less exciting. It has a larger seating area but it's more for a quick coffee and a piece of cake than anything else.

We visited Legoland on a Sunday afternoon and stayed in one of the woodland lodges before a full day in the park. The process of booking the stay was fairly convoluted on the website, but from that point, there were clear instructions and links for all our passes, which were very handy to have on the official app! Sunday in the park was manic and not at all quiet, with 40 min queues for all the main rides (including the underwhelming Dragon rollercoaster). Flight of the sky lion is a great ride, but please sort the queue system out for people with the fast access pass (some of which have paid extra). We waited longer in this queue than people were in the standard entry! I don't think the clearly hungover lad running it could cope with figuring out what to do. The site is quite sprawling and despite there being a train that runs from the entrance into the middle of the park, it isn't always in operation, so prepare for the walk back up the winding hill! Food offerings are standard over-priced fried theme park fare unfortunately, with little imagination in the variety on offer. Breakfast at the woodland lodge clubhouse was fairly decent on the other hand. Our lodge was clean and spacious, with the skylight projector in the kids room being a nice touch. The treasure hunt also went down a treat. You might want to take earplugs though, as the Heathrow flight path is directly above, so sleep was fairly limited to the hours of 11pm -5am. It could be so much better in places, but overall it was still an enjoyable outing that was worth checking out.

Great theme park, I enjoyed the rides, we didn’t wait to wait too long to get onto the rides and there was 2 that we did a couple of times. Kids loved it. The Lego mini land was great, loads to see and a lot of detail gone into it. Food was expensive but always is at these places. We’d happily return!

very nice amusement park for the kids we spent all day there just walking around and think we only went on 1 ride as others where long waiting ques and that doesn't work with little ones. there is plenty of play parks and other things you can enjoy , espically walking around the model areas

I’m in love with the Lego village, it’s so beautiful and full of detail. The miniatures are perfect, and the little surprises with the moving parts are such a clever, well-thought-out touch. The rides are great too, and I definitely recommend the Haunted House. The main store has fair prices, which honestly surprised me. Overall, the park is a fantastic way to spend a day, you can experience a lot in just one visit since the queues are relatively short (the longest wait was around 60 minutes), especially compared to other similar parks.

We went to Legoland Windsor in the school holidays and… wow, the queues. I expected it to be busy, but spending 45 minutes to well over an hour for most rides was draining. It felt like we spent more time in line than actually doing anything. The kids were still excited, but by the end even they were fed up of standing around. Food was another gripe – small portions, average quality, and very expensive. It’s very much “theme park prices,” and it adds up quickly. And on top of that, you’re hit with a £12 parking charge, which feels cheeky when tickets are already pricey. That said, the free water refill stations were a nice touch and saved us from constantly buying drinks. On the positive side, the park itself is clean, colourful, and full of charming Lego details that really do impress. Staff were friendly and helpful too. But honestly, if you’re visiting in peak times, go in knowing you’ll need a lot of patience, a lot of cash, and a plan to make the most of it.

Visited Legoland with my two kids (1 and 4 years old) and we had a really good day out. Went during school time so there were hardly any queues, which was great! The park was clean and tidy with plenty to see and do to fill the day. Not much for the 1-year-old, but our 4-year-old loved it and went on lots of rides. Overall a fun family day out and would definitely go again when they’re a bit older.

Had a really good time with my 2 daughters. They both enjoyed the experience. Seeing how much stuff was built out of bricks was awesome. Some really good rides. Had to queue a bit but expected on a busy day. Would definitely recommend and 100% come back again

Amazing!!! Went to see The Lightning Thief- Percy Jackson!! Wow! All the performers were spot on! 100% recommend if you get a chance to watch. Songs were catchy, stage design was great, jokes were just right! Well done to all.

I recently had the pleasure of seeing the Michael Jackson tribute starring Ben at the Theatre Royal Windsor, and it was amazing. From start to finish, the energy was electric and the performance thoroughly entertaining. 🎤 Ben truly captured the essence of Michael Jackson – his voice, moves, and charisma were spot on bringing every song to life. The costumes were stunning and added that extra sparkle to the whole experience. 💡 The stage lights are extremely bright, so if you're sensitive to lighting, you might want to bring sunglasses or sit a bit further back. 🪑 Seating-wise, the chairs are quite snug. If you're on the larger side, I’d recommend booking an “end” seat for a bit more comfort with leg room. That said, the view was really good. 🏰 The location couldn’t be better – right opposite Windsor Castle and surrounded by lovely restaurants, making it perfect for a pre-show dinner or post-show drinks. Parking and the train station is conveniently just around the corner, which made the whole evening stress-free. 👋 The staff could of perhaps provided a more friendly and welcoming experience to the venue. If you're a fan of MJ or just love a good night out, this tribute show is a must-see. Whilst he doesn’t look like MJ if I closed my eyes he did an amazing job at sounding like him 🎶

Amazing staff, they made us so welcome this lunchtime for the Fireman Sam show. What a lovely little theatre, well equipped to cater for little ones with booster seats and helping direct everyone to their seats. They seemed to enjoy the show just as much as the kids too! Thanks again for making it a wonderful experience

Went to watch percy jackson today and it was amazing!!! Although however there was an inconvenient delay in the second half of the performance, still had a spectacular time

This was my first time visiting this venue and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a lovely little theatre with a welcoming feel. The bar area is a good size and I really liked that there were tables and chairs available, rather than having to stand as you often do in many London theatres. Parking was easy, we used Windsor and Eton station car park which is less than a five-minute walk away, making it very convenient. Overall, a great venue and I’d be happy to return.

Lovely theatre, unfortunately the show we saw, sherlock Holmes, lacked pace, script was obscure and characterisation lacking except for the guy who played lestrad. Really disappointed. The guy next to me fell asleep 4 times.

We enjoyed the production today of Doubting Thomas on this week. An unusual “who dunnit” hinging on dementia, family issues and longstanding relationships. The acting was good (I’m not a drama fanatic but it’s my opinion) and some twists added to surprises. A few laughs too. I’ve been to the theatre before and it has character and charm. But I enjoyed the storyline very much. Worth a visit. We asked for and got pensioner rates. Sat at the back but that was fine.

I came to Salisbury for the cathedral but fell in love with this chapel. I sat down for the last of the service one evening and they were kind to allow me to take a look before closing. I returned the next two days to just sit and enjoy. Highly recommend!!

Visiting Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel on the grounds was beautiful. It was a lovely day and many visitors. The visitors were happy and friendly.

Highly recommended! St George's Chapel is a Gothic chapel located in the lower bailey of Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England. The castle chapel is under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch and is the seat of the Congregation of the Order of the Garter. The castle chapel was founded in the 14th century by King Edward III and significantly expanded in the late 15th century. It is the site of many royal church services, weddings and funerals. If you bought a ticket to visit Windsor Castle, the chapel is included in the ticket price. You can also buy a separate ticket for much cheaper if you do not plan to visit the castle. A castle + chapel ticket costs 35 pounds, a ticket only for the chapel is about 7 pounds. Information accurate as of June 2025. P.S. I try to share specific information. A nice chapel, very informative details shared on the headphone guide set. I also saw the memorial where Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh was buried and also the main church where there were previous royal weddings and funerals. Sadly can't take pictures of inside the chapel.

The chapel in Kings college is amazing, but not quite worth 20+ pounds.

Within the grounds of Windsor Castle and a bit of a misnomer.... chapel, it's more like a cathedral. Epic historical building. No photography allowed inside. Built in the late medieval perpendicular Gothic style. Founded in the 14th century. Definitely worth going to see if you like architecture as the interior is magnificent and awesome.

All I can say is amazing the evening song this a must even if you are not religious go and see it takes your breath away

First time visiting and was blown away at the history and beauty of the Castle, the church and grounds. The town is charming as well. This is a must see, easy trip via overland train from London. Get the audio tour headsets as it’s included and will make the experience worthwhile.

I went las Saturday to see the change of guards, it is amazing!!! It it important to wait for them (10:50 am approx) if you arrive early, otherwise you won’t have time or the best location to see them. The exhibition is quite amazing, and unbelievable!

Its an english castle. Well kept. I Its slightly less for value of money. Would advice to buy tickets in advance as that will save money. If you are visiting multiple castles throughout UK, kindly buy a pass for them as that will be cheaper rather than buying tickets at every castle. No pictures allowed inside.

Over the past 40 years that I have been coming to London, I somehow avoided Windsor Castle for no reason except that there were other things to do but on this trip I am glad to say that I finally visited it and I was not disappointed. I especially was fond of the chapel. I’m not religious whatsoever, but the burial chamber of the Queen was worth seeing. The crest room as seen in one of these photos fascinated me. The tour guides and Museum staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

What a beautiful castle. The tour is well planned and if you love the monarchy and the queen/king things you will be blown away by this gorgeous place. Just don’t forget to book tickets in advance, take the audio guide with you and enjoy a little touch to royal family’s life.

The Windsor Castle and Town are a must to visit! An authentic place with it's atmosphere and history. While visiting the castle you get the audio guide and it is really easy to walk, listen and admire. We spent here about 4h to visit each and every chamber and exhibition. Great experience!

What a day out . Memorable , impressive and spectacular. The tour of the Castle is a walk through history the sights sounds and architecture are all breathtaking. Highly recommended a must do if in the area .

Make sure you purchase tickets in advance, because each tour will sell out. Although the docents had us enter in small groups, I wish they kept the crowd flow moving through each room, as it grew very crowded within the rooms themselves. The exhibits are interesting, and it was nice being able to sit in the garden.

I don’t know where to start- am feeling both exhilaration and emotional after visiting Jane Austen’s house earlier today. So to start, absolutely make a booking! We saw folks being turned away or having to comeback like two hours later as slots were booked! It’s a small house and a lot to see / read/ experience and so can understand why the House limits the number of folks that can enter within a twenty minute time slot. Parking is also a bit hard and off-street was our only option. We spent over 3 hours enjoying the various rooms and exhibitions, listen to the audio first and then step into the house. Kudos to the volunteers who help preserve this history. The gardens are lovely as is the opportunity to dress up in period costumes. I feel drunk on happiness to have had the opportunity to visit!

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a sensible traveller in possession of a free afternoon, must be in want of a visit to Jane Austen’s House. Whether one is drawn by the charm of literary devotion or merely in search of a respectable tea-room nearby, the cottage at Chawton cannot fail to supply both instruction and amusement. House and gardens, gift shop and toilets. Friendly and helpful volunteers working in the house. Dressing up optional. Tickets are limited so book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Much of how much you enjoy this museum will depend on your knowledge and appreciation of Jane Austen and her work but even as someone who has not read any of her novels I found the house to be an informative snapshot of her life and of the regency era in general and I commend the curators for their dedication to accurately depicting early 19th century life. Important things to note: the house (and therefore the museum) is small. The operators will only permit small groups (12 max) to enter in twenty minute slots. I highly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

A must see for every Jane Austen fan. The house gives such a good impression of how she lived and little details (like the mousseline dresses on the line outside), make it seem as if she just popped out for an errand. After the visit you can sit in the lovely garden.

Very nice experience. A beautiful and moving experience. The house is so well preserved, and it truly feels like stepping into Jane Austen’s world. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly—highly recommend for any literature lover!

Nice selection of birds, so many pretty varieties that we had never seen before. The parrots and cockatoos were entertaining with their chatter and whistles. There are a couple of walk-through areas where you can get up close to the birds. The main cafe area at the entrance is nice with outdoor seating overlooking the gardens. There is another cafe/kiosk, but this was closed when we visited. They are building a new play area which looks like it's going to be quite large. We spent around 3 hours there slowly walking around. For the kids, there is a dinosaur trail. The car park is large and free. Toilets and baby change areas were clean. There is quite a large gift shop. We had a nice half day wandering around.

Larger than expected but very interesting. There are all sorts of birds and plenty to see. For those with children, there are plenty of play bits for them to play and for those without there are benches where you can sit and watch the birds. The park is accessible for wheelchair users. Visually impaired folk will definitely benefit from taking a sighted guide.

Good place to visit after the upgrade made for kids but could have also added play center for toddler separately. The dinosaurs were good additions. Food-wise need to have more options and for the entry price paid the experience is bit on lower end with the birds. The bird world itself has not been updated fully and they seem old n neglected. Finally the parking facilities are lacking with very small spaces considering most visitors are with toddlers and kids and are of low quality.

I am disabled and cannot walk. Please see the end of the review for the only problem i had. Visited today with my wife daughter and her husband and two granddaughter's. We had a great time loads to see and do the birds are great and well displayed. The granddaughter's loved the play areas. All the staff are great. Helpfull, polite and a credit to bitdworld. on the whole it was easy to get round on a mobility class 3 mobility scooter. I have only one complaint and that there was a problem and that is with the disabled toilets it may not sound much but if you are like me on A Class 3 mobility scooter and cannot walk at all it is impossible sitting on one of those scooters and opening a door towards you. I do wish the people who designed these toilets would actually try to get in there whilst at on a large mobility scooter. It takes away your independence completely when you can't even open the door to get in. To pull a door open and hold it open while you driving is completely impossible. I really really wish that somebody would actually try it to see what I mean. Is bad enough being stuck on one of those things without having to ask a complete stranger to hold the door open for you. Please would one of your staff get hold of one of those scooters and try it.

New park is amazing. The kids loved the activity sheet and the dinosaur trail. Can't wait for the new play barn. Food was fresh and good. Only down side, they do not have a changing table for disabled guests, but we were told we could use the first aid one.

A popular day out for us or even a quick stop after nursery to run off extra energy. We invested in the membership this year and have visited Birdworld very regularly to explore every nook and cranny it has to offer. The bonus features of the dinosaur trail, bird bath and adventure play have been a treat too. There are so many beautiful birds and really helpful information about them to learn and raise awareness of endangered species, as well as regular talks from the team who present it so well. The birds are well looked after and the park is so pretty with greenery, flowers, water features, bird photography and beautiful interactive displays of information. There is lots to do for all ages. The paths are wheelchair and buggy accessible and plenty of loo facilities around the park. Lots of parking space and the check-in process is simple and quick even on busy days. Even when the park is busy it doesn’t feel crowded as there’s lots of space to run around, and benches to sit on.

Perfect for all. Not too long to walk around (you could probably rush it in half hour) took us a couple of hours to see everything, but there's plenty of extra play areas and games to keep kids entertained. Special experiences like feeding the penguins are extra, but well worth it.

Fantastic place to walk the dog/dogs. I highly recommend Alice Holt. There are plenty of walking paths, and cycle paths for all abilities. If you are more adventurous Go Ape is also available here, for tree top fun. For children there are play parks and the Gruffalo walk which includes beautiful carved caricatures from the books. There is also a lovely cafe on site.

Great facilities, marble run is a great new addition but the cafe has gone downhill and isn't a patch on what it used to be. Terrible vegan options and eye watering prices, make sure to bring your own food. Parking is also expensive, but in line with all forestry England sites

Lovely place. Autumn leaves looking gorgeous. Disc Golf was great fun. It was good to have a focus of a 'different' activity - and take exercise at the same time.

Nice place with lots of activities. However, parking is expensive £8 for just over 2 hours!!

Lots of trees, a great little cafe, lots of climbing frame things for kids and adults. It's just a great place to go for a walk or a bike ride.

Family trip in February. Car parking is well organised but not cheap. Great trails and plenty of exploring possible. Facilities are excellent, even with a dog wash station if that’s something for you! Play areas are very good and entertained the children for a good while. Highly recommend this place. Best time is later in the afternoon to miss the crowds.

Absolutely fantastic place. Beautiful scenery and walks designed for all ages with directions so you cannot get lost. Great play trail for the little ones to keep them entertained. Lots of space to park (bit pricey) but it hasn't put me off wanting to go again.

The autumn colours at Kew are simply spectacular and worth the visit alone. The foliage was at its peak, and the landscape was incredibly beautiful. Do dress warmly though, as it gets cold in the late afternoon. One drawback for evening visitors: the shop closes considerably earlier than the advertised time. Staff began asking people to leave at 5:40 PM, and the shop was completely closed by 5:50 PM. So, if you're counting on buying gifts at the end of your trip, make sure you visit the shop with plenty of time to spare.

If you live reasonably near it is worthwhile becoming a member. Every visit is different with the seasons changing and there are so many different places to go and enjoy. The little train ride round the gardens is informative and gives insight into just how much space there is here. I love the Japanese house, the rhodendron dell near to it, the students gardens and the evolution garden but there is plenty more to enjoy. Members also get 10% discount in the shop. Photos show the pagoda and an exhibit from one of the orchid festivals.

We visited here for the first time ever last weekend, despite our Daughter living in London. We bought tickets online so that upon arrival they were promptly scanned, no queue whatsoever. Where do I start, the gardens are stunning and the place is so vast. We walked around the perimeter path to start, then we walked everywhere, the large glass houses and conservatories are amazing, there is so much to see. Amenities are great, lots of choices for food, we ate at a Orangery restaurant in the grounds under the grape vines (al fresco dining) the food was amazing, where a main with drinks was only £66 for 3 adults. These gardens are predominantly wheelchair accessible too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Treetop Walkway (which has a lift and stairs) so pushchair users were also able to go up, the views were fantastic. The day was warm, so there were families enjoying picnics in the relaxing grounds. Prepare to sieve a whole day, and for the entrance fee considering this is London, we found the prices to be very reasonable indeed. There is just so much for the whole family. Facilities are extremely good too, with accessible toilets, changing places toilet, baby feeding room, baby change, shop, cafe, information, and water fountains throughout the gardens, there is also a prayer/reflections room, and finally a bus stop. Visiting is a must.

Charles Darwin’s contributed to Kew Gardens significantly, mainly because Kew houses a large part of the plant specimens he collected during his famous voyage aboard the HMS Beagle from 1831 to 1836. Around 450 of the approximately 1,400 plant specimens Darwin gathered are preserved at Kew, with these collections still actively studied and digitized. Great experience with really a lot of different impressions: - areas with plants from all over the world - treetop walkway Kew Gardens is renowned for its extraordinary glasshouses, which house diverse plant collections from across the globe. The key glasshouses include: - The Palm House: Built between 1844 and 1848, the Palm House is one of the most iconic Victorian glasshouses. It features a tropical rainforest environment and hosts many rare and endangered tropical plants, including the oldest potted plant in the world, - Temperate House: The largest Victorian glasshouse in the world, the Temperate House houses around 10,000 plants of 1,500 species from regions including Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas. - Water Lily House: Built in 1852 and designed by the same architect and ironmaker as the Palm House, the Water Lily House shelters aquatic plants including tropical water lilies. - King George III‘s house King George III’s house in Kew Gardens is known as Kew Palace, also called the Dutch House. Originally built in 1631 as a silk merchant’s mansion, it became the smallest royal palace and served as the summer home of King George III in the 18th century. George III and his wife Queen Charlotte spent many happy summers there with their large family. The palace and its gardens provided a private, intimate retreat from public life, where the king could live more normally without the usual royal ceremony. Really a great experience and you have to plan enough time - or even several visits.

A true uncut Diamond of london the best of the best. It truely beats all the other london attractions hands down.oh this jackdoor. Was very very smart he shared lunch with us very charming and clever bird. It was a wonderful day .

(October) Some pathways and buildings were closed for the season. Large, busy gift shop at the main Victoria entrance, with plants and many souvenir/gift items. Only two cashiers on duty at a busy time meant I opted out of my intended small purchase. Signage throughout the gardens is quite good. Visited during bank holiday! Perfect weather! Blazing hot sun but that’s fine as there’s loads of places to find and hitch under shade. The park is well kept and looks fantastic. We must’ve walked around for 5-6 hours. The park is really amazing. I took a trolley with me loaded with blankets and food and stuff which was great as there’s no restrictions on that. The family and kids loved the day out here definitely will be back for Christmas lights!

Visited on Thursday, 03rd July 2025. Close to Ladbrook Grove station, no need to buy tickets in advance. Called the Museum of Brands, but in truth, it would appear that after the initial section dealing with the first types of advertising, you jump to products from each era with a focus on the 1960s onwards in a nostalgia fest as you go around saying "I remember that" etc etc. Next to the shop on the other side, there is an interesting grouping of domestic products illustrating the changes in packaging and appearance through the ages of these long-established brands. Not sure what the point of the museum is, and I am not sure the museum does either. A lovely garden area to drink and eat your small cafe-purchased products.

A fascinating museum, Well worth the money and very informative. Plus even though it is not very big there is so much too see and you literally feel like you are walking through time. It also has a Cafe toilets and a beautiful garden.

Loved it. A proper nostalgia trip and highly-recommended. We showed-up for the extra exhibition on Gerry Anderson - while great as well, it would’ve been nice to have more merch for sale. Still, a terrific way to spend a rainy afternoon!

If you’d like to know the history of package design, this is a perfect place to go and if you’d like to see a very old old stuff, they have preserved history from the 20s. I would like to say I did not check the first date of when they started preserving things, but a cute little place with a cute little garden and it’s just something to do if you’re in Portobello.

The Museum of Brands not only created a real feeling of nostalgia, seeing games and toys that my Nan and grandad had from my parents’ era and the eras around it, but it did a brilliant job of talking about culture over time and it’s shaped technology and brands, and vice versa. I’d recommend a trip for anyone looking for a trip down memory lane (one of the other visitors spoke about how good it would be for anyone suffering from Alzheimer’s too). It’s also a worthwhile afternoon for those working in marketing or advertising, like myself, who are in need of some inspiration!

This feels more like a 'grown up' museum rather than one for kids. It has lots of items in the exhibits, with the vast majority being behind screens. There's a couple of 'phones' where you can listen to some stories about the displays but one didn't work for us. It did have a 'trail' for half term but there wasn't anything particularly interactive about the displays. It could have an activity to create an advert/own brand. We went in the Thunderbirds exhibition (reason we went). There were a lot of items all together which was cool and my son (8) enjoyed looking at them as he really likes Thunderbirds. Again a looking at things through glass type exhibit (with the exception of the big thunderbird 3) which I get given the type of items. Cafe was good for lunch.

I had the pleasure of visiting Kensington Palace with my family in the evening, and it was a truly memorable experience. Kensington Palace was stunning. The exterior architecture and interior artworks, styling, ceiling paintings, and flooring were terrific to view. A new designer exhibit showcased a range of clothing influenced by various royal eras. The artwork in the King's Gallery was stunning, and the wallpaper in a hallway was designed with different Diana images. The exterior sculpture of Queen Victoria is excellent. There is a cafe and toilets in Kensington Palace.

Visited on my last day in London for a last little cultural detour. It was really lovely, easy to find my way around and the audio guide was perfect. It’s the perfect place to go if you want to see a little history and you don’t have much time (took me approx an hour).

Always love visiting the palace and this was for the Dress Codes exhibition. That was small but amazing to see. Loved the gift shop and bought another tea towel. The cafe was almost closing when I went but still served me. Great staff.

I’ve seen the palace and that’s amazing. Very surreal feeling knowing the history of the rooms you’re walking through. I had actually visited the cancel before but was back to attend the Dress Codes exhibition. I thought that was disappointing, I expected to see a lot more, but the palace is great.

I love visiting Kensington Palace especially when an exhibition is happening. The Dress Codes exhibition was wonderful and fascinating to see the variety of costumes/uniforms/clothes worn by gentry and staff/servants. A small exhibition but nice and relaxed atmosphere. The rest of the Palace is always an interesting experience. Be careful visiting KP as it’s not open every day.

I recently visited Kensington Palace and found it a really interesting experience. Walking through the rooms gave me a real sense of history, almost like stepping back in time. The exhibitions were well presented, and it was fascinating to learn about the lives of the royals who lived there. The palace is famous for being the birthplace and childhood home of Queen Victoria, and in more recent history it became the official residence of Princess Diana, which makes it very special to many visitors. Today, parts of it are still used by members of the Royal Family, while other areas are open to the public, giving you a unique mix of living history and heritage. Overall, it was a memorable visit that gave me a chance to connect with the stories behind one of London’s most iconic royal homes.

This is a great place to have a walk around, the only downside was school parties, but it wasn't too bad! There are lots of history in this place and a lot on show! We went all round the inside! Lots of artifacts dating from Henry VIII!! Even walking round the very large kitchens of Henry VIII's time was lovely to see!! Very interesting!! We will be back again to explore the gardens next time!! The staff are very knowledgeable too if you want to ask any questions!! You can also get an audio tour with headphones or wait for a guide!

Was able to visit this vast historic ground that was the Palace of King Henry Vlll some 500yrs ago. Took pictures of the ongoing renovations, the river canal with pier, the gardens Hampton Court Palace, located on the River Thames in southwest London, is one of England’s most famous royal palaces with a rich and complex history: Early History: Built in 1514 by Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, the powerful chief minister to King Henry VIII. Wolsey transformed the site into a lavish Renaissance palace, but as he fell out of favor with the king, he gifted it to Henry VIII in 1528 to avoid disgrace. Tudor Era: Henry VIII greatly expanded the palace, making it one of his main residences. He added the Great Hall, Tudor kitchens, and royal apartments. It was a favorite residence of his and played host to numerous important events, including marriages, births, and political dealings. Stuart Period: Under James I and Charles I, the palace remained a royal residence. Charles I was imprisoned at Hampton Court briefly before his execution in 1649. Baroque Transformation: In the late 1600s, William III and Mary II commissioned architect Sir Christopher Wren to modernize the palace in the Baroque style, intending to rival Versailles. Much of the Tudor palace was replaced, but the project was never fully completed, leaving a unique blend of Tudor and Baroque architecture. It’s a great day out with a lot to see and do, however it was a little lacking especially when considering value for money. We went during Halloween and a lot of effort was made for that which was great. The cafes served good food was a good selection but was on the pricey side! Facilities were good and staff were friendly and helpful. They have. Car park but you have to get there early, we just kissed out but there is car parking at the train station just over the bridge.

Really disappointed in this whole experience. We went on a Friday, it was pretty busy but not entirely unexpected. We felt like there was a lot of emphasis put on Henry VIII's palace, however, there seemed little reference to him living there overall. There wasn't any atmosphere and a lot of rooms were empty - it just looked quite empty overall. It was also extremely hot inside, and the lack of airflow was stifling. We thought it would be a loy more regal and extravagant than what was on offer. We were extremely disappointed to learn that the banqueting hall and other areas are currently closed to the public. Bearing in mind our tickets were £80.00 for 3 adults, we didn't feel that we got overall value for money. The gift shop was much of a muchness, usual expensive crap made in China. The cafe was ridiculously expensive for the quality of food on offer, and flies were crawling all over the food on display which had not been covered up. The vegetable patch and gardens were fabulous and the highlight of the day, the exterior architecture is fabulous aside from that, thoroughly disappointed. The staff were also grumpy and not very forthcoming in sharing and tips or highlights, and we were made to feel an inconvenience for asking questions.

Nowhere else in the world will you find a Tudor palace seamlessly paired with a Baroque one. For anyone interested in English history and architecture, this is among the very best places to visit. The palace is currently undergoing renovation, which is expected to be completed next June. If you can wait, it may be worth coming back then.

Hampton Court Palace is a wonderful place that covers so many periods of English history. From Tudor, Georgian and William III history you get to learn so much about the building and its history as well as the reign of monarchs and the loves they led. From the Royal Chapel where Henry married Amne Boleyn to the Great Hall where feasts and events were held including Shakespeare himself performing there. Some hidden gems throughout the building if you look hard enough and although a bit dated and clunky the audio guides help bring the stories to life. Well worth the visit if you are staying in London and want to get out of the hustle and bustle but still want to learn about the story of England.

Was an absolute stunning palace. Went for my sisters Birthday. The place was so big. The facts and figures were amazing. The gardens were out of this world. We spent at least 3hrs there exploring, could of been longer. Gift shop was a standard gift shop. Food was okay, again a little pricey, but nothing out the ordinary. Unfortunately loads of wasp were out that day. But would definitely go back again. I'm sure there were things we missed due to the place being so big.

The Versailles of British gardening If Kew is the King, then Wisley is unquestionably the Crown Prince beautifully groomed, impeccably mannered, and dripping in horticultural old-money charm. The borders are magnificent. The glasshouse is a cathedral of tropical splendour. Even the ducks appear to have degrees in botany. You don’t visit Wisley you take pilgrimage. Spring brings tulips arranged with mathematical perfection. Summer is dahlia heaven. Autumn is a masterclass in fiery foliage. Winter? Even the frost looks curated. The gift shop deserves its own postcode and a security guard you will leave with at least one book you didn’t need, a mug you don’t have room for, and seeds for plants you cannot pronounce. This is simply the Wisley effect. Bring: Comfortable shoes A packed lunch (or a willing wallet the café is delicious but not for the faint-pursed) A camera, because the borders humiliate your own garden mercilessly If you love plants, go. If you don’t love plants, go anyway you will by the end.

Great place to walk around and blow the cobwebs off on a drizzly Sunday afternoon. The autumnal colours are amazing there's still a surprising number of flowers out. Well with a visit. Check out annual passes as they may not be much more than a day pass (especially if you're a student!).

Stunning day out with the family, to be in awe of nature. Mind-blowing how many different trees/plants/flowers there are around you (all labelled!) and how exquisitely they are maintained by the RHS Wisley team. Managed to get discounted tickets and thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing day of walking around all of the different gardens. The indoor glass house is also amazing in what feels like a rainforest climate! Definitely one to check out for the day to get in the clean air and appreciate the incredible creation around us! Ample free parking available.

Fabulous place. Gardens have amazing colours for Autumn. The Glasshouse was my favourite. There was a craft fair there today which had wonderful things. Didn't get round all of it today. So much to see.

Been meaning to go here for years and finally made it on what felt like the hottest day of the year so far. The gardens were beautifully maintained and the old house was a stunning backdrop to some of my photos. I particularly liked the fact there are several cafes dotted strategically around the grounds which enabled us to grab a tea or top up our water bottles as required. All told we had a lovely day out but be prepared for a long walk.

The colours of the autumn leaves were beautiful today. Some amazing plants both in the greenhouses and outside in the gardens. We had a lovely day with the bonus of the Craft and jewellery fair to visit and browse the variety of wonderful products.

The Autumn is as always colourful. Flowering plants are in pastel colours beautifully arranged. Very good and easy walking conditions; this time my friend has been able to use the electric buggy and to enjoy the outing. Pumpkin display was very artistic. An opportunity to take the pictures.

Awesome experience, be prepared to que during intervals for using the toilets and bar. Drinks prices are high but that was to be expected. Great venue.. would definitely go again to watch Ben and the Michael jackson experience. Very good performance from all. Great night

Superb venue, been here two or three times now. Modern and well presented throughout. Truckers: easy enough with a large dock. If they forget to raise the entry barrier you can drive south and enter that way, spinning in the car park if you need to, to get onto the dock.

Fabulous venue, very modern, watched a great show. Good view from all seats. Very friendly staff, reasonable drink prices for a theatre.

Easy and cheap parking. Venue is great. I have sat in many different seats and all have a great view. They have some excellent comedians. Much cheaper and easier than going into London

Easy to navigate, welcoming staff. Right temperature and acoustics were great. The only negative was no rail on steps to the seats. Being disabled, l had to rely on the kindness of fellow show goers to hold my arm going up and down to my seat.

A medium-sized concert venue, I gave been to both seated and standing gigs here, and it is suited to both. Good sound and staff are helpful. Reasonable beer selection for this type of bar.

An excellent venue. Lots of facilities including bars and coffee. The staff were very polite and helpful. We went to see Tim Peake, so not a raging concert (not sure if they have those there). It was bright and clean and unobstructed view of the stage from the stalls. The seats were a little low, so after sitting for an hour or so it was a bit of a challenge to get up. We parked at the Mill Road Carpark and walked up. Lots of choice for eating and drinking on the way. Overall a brilliant venue and we will definitely go back.

So much to do for all of the family our age range was 6-11 and there was only 1 ride the 6yr old couldn't go on so if you have thrill seekinging younger ones I would recommend Chessington but also the gruffalo ride and room on a broom we're amazing gentle fun the was perfect for a little (or big) one that doesn't like going too fast. Plenty of photo opportunities to capture the family fun memories

I’ve been visiting Chessington ever since I was a kid, and now I get to bring my own children here! The park has retained much of its charm from when I was younger. My daughters are 8 and 2, and there are plenty of rides and attractions suitable for both of them to enjoy. It’s great to see the park continuing to evolve with exciting additions like the Jumanji area and the upcoming Paw Patrol attraction. However, I do feel that some of the older rides could use a bit more attention — we got stuck on the Gruffalo ride, and the Vampire ride (my very first rollercoaster!) was unfortunately closed. I was really looking forward to sharing that nostalgic experience with my daughter. Overall, Chessington is still a fantastic family day out and a place full of wonderful memories. We’ll definitely be back once the new areas and rides open up!

A very good family theme park. There is a wide variety of attractions, including a good selection of rollercoasters for those wanting rides of the slightly more thrilling type. There are also many younger oriented rides.

Disappointing Experience at Chessington Adventures I spent around 45 minutes stuck in traffic just trying to get into the park, and then another 30 minutes driving around the car park looking for a space. Even though we paid full price for our tickets, we were only able to go on about 3–5 rides the entire day because of how extremely busy it was. The signboards claimed the waiting time was 30 minutes, but that’s completely inaccurate — it took at least double that for every ride. The park itself looks nice, but the whole experience was ruined by the endless queues and poor crowd management. Overall, it was an awful experience and definitely not worth the time or money. I wouldn’t want to visit again.

I visited Chessington World of Adventures today with my family and had a really good time. The weather was lovely, which always helps, and I was impressed with how easy it was to get on the rides. Most of them had little to no queue at all, so we could go straight on, which was fantastic with young children. The kids really enjoyed themselves and there was a nice mix of rides suitable for their ages. On the downside, some of the rides could definitely do with a bit more cleaning and maintenance, as a few looked quite worn. I also noticed a bit of a rat problem near some of the bins, which was unpleasant to see. Overall though, we had a very enjoyable day out and I would recommend it to families, especially if you can go on a quieter day like we did.

Lovely day with the children, my only criticism is the time it takes to get onto the ride, the cost to upgrade is just too much, but the time wasted on getting people off and on I think could be improved to speed things up. The guys in the ticket office were brilliant after some issues with my tickets not coming through they sorted it very quickly.

Chessington is an all rounded place to visit as it both has animals and rides!!! The ride queue time is sometimes long but you get to buy quick access tickets. Sometimes even when the queue was just 5 minutes you had to walk through the long queue path which sometimes can be annoying. The park has something for everyone. Not much choice in food especially if you are health conscious but you get to bring your own picnic. Staff were friendly in the park- not so much in the car park. The refill stations for the cups you can buy for £18 were few and not well sign posted and the ones stationed outside were covered in wasps. The ones in the sweet shop were great!! They also don’t let u refill for ten minutes which was also annoying cos I got a couple of wasps in my first drink!! The rides were good. The animals look healthy and happy. I had a very good day out here.

One of the best Trust houses we have visited. Great art works everywhere in the huge rooms. It was nice to have some seating to relax and enjoy. The grounds are well kept making it a pleasant walk from the car parking area. Seats in the cafe were limited during the rain showers, as one would expect.

Another National Trust gem! Had a wonderful day there. So much to see and wonderful walks in the grounds and deer park. The art collection is outstanding and as usual the volunteers in the house were great. Had an interesting talk in the square dining room about the history of the family. Found the kitchens fascinating!Great cafe too. Highly recommend.

Visiting Petworth House is a great way to spend a few hours. Impressive artwork, including many Turner paintings, sculptures, a Chapel, a deer park, servants quarters, well kept gardens and a cafe with plenty of seating. I found the Main House interesting, and the furnishings gave an idea of how life may have been, but I always like visiting the servants quarters, as they give me more of a feel for the character of the House. The Guides were very informative and came up with interesting facts which added to the experience. The House is about a ten minutes walk from Reception, with a slight incline in places. There is a large car park which was showing as "full" when I arrived, but I, and the cars following behind, managed to find a space.

Petworth is a NT place with huge grounds and a large house. The ground are beautiful and lead down to a lake from the house. The ground here can be quite boggy, even in good weather so be wearing suitable footwear. The house itself is large and you can walk round a lot of it but because the family still inhabit it, a lot of it is still private. They do open up certain extra spaces at points so worth checking out, for example in Oct some of the upstairs is open. Opposite the house are the servants quarters which have been turned into some viewing space alongside a bookshop and cafe. Also there are toilets in here, the only other toilets are before the entrance. There are NT volunteers around the house and they were all very friendly and helpful. The house is quite a walk from the car park however so you will need to be able to walk a distance or use one of the wheelchairs you can borrow (probably best to try and book one). The gardens are spacious and varied from the open space down to the lake by the house to the woodland and dogs on leads can be walked here (not in the house). Definitely worth a visit, in the colder months probably and hour or twos visit but in summer we have spent several hours here exploring the grounds and having a picnic etc.

My first National Trust to visit and this place did not disappoint. Very lovely art displays inside, interesting history, good restaurant, friendly staff. There’s a super big walk outside the actual property which we also did, a lot of deer around the area which was lovely to see. Lake area also beautiful. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nice summer activity.

A truly wonderful day trip to the picturesque village of Petworth allowed us to stroll through its cobbled streets, full of charming cafés and many art galleries displaying antiques and beautiful pieces of art. There’s a convenient parking area and a spacious café within the Petworth House grounds — a perfect place to take a break and look over the map provided at reception. The interior architecture and the abundance of artworks take you back in time, while the gardens outside are stunning and beautifully maintained, offering a heavenly atmosphere in every season. Definitely worth a visit — take your time and enjoy every minute!

Petworth House and Park is one of the most beating National Trust sites I have visited.The House is packed with incredible art and history and the surrounding park is breathtaking, wide open landscape, ancient trees and herds of deer roaming freely .The cafe shop are lovely too.

Great day out with my 18 month old grandson and family! Lots for him to do and rides to go on. Loved the Barrel Bug Safari! The Splash Pad was a brilliant way to cool down on a hot day. We all enjoyed the Farm Show and Trailer & Tractor ride. All the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful.

Last Sunday our family of four celebrated here with our 6 year old birthday boy! He was greeted with congratulations and a birthday sticker which he loved. Staff were super friendly all day! They also sung happy birthday to him on stage at the family disco! It was a gorgeously sunny day, fairly quiet considering (perhaps due to end of summer?). The tractor ride was brilliant - the lady was so informative whilst driving us around - told us names, ages and personalities of the animals which was great! Lots included for your ticket price and my son said it was an 'epic day!' Jumping pillows, play castle, tea cups, splash attack, meeting the baby animals.. just so much to see and do. Love that you can pay 2 tokens (£2) for a pony ride.. this was his favourite activity! The park was clean, queues were short, it is well spaced out but does not require huge amounts of walking. Sensory Barn was a calm retreat and the indoor play area were fab with thrilling drop slides! Our 9 year old was pleasantly surprised and loved Skyfall 6m, Climbing Wall, Devils Dyke Descent. Just as lovely as we remember (having not been since he was 3!). We will definitely return, thank you Fishers Farm for our memorable day out! 👏❤️

We visited on 02/11/2025 with our 2 and 4 year old. This farm has been designed with children (and their animals) at the heart and it really does show. We had an amazing day and every corner we turned there was something for us to look at, explore or play. Thank you for a great day. I just also want to highlight the staff, every single member of staff was smiling and eager to help or just have a good chat, especially the lovely harlequin ‘guarding’ the little Halloween scary/sweet walk throughs. The animals are so loved and cared for. We have attend manyyyyy of farms and have never seen such happy animals! I also cannot get over how clean the farm was?!? The soft plays and play village are amazing, the outside areas spotless even the animal enclosures. You all deserve a hugeeeee pat on the back. So fairly priced and we cannot wait to come back and visit.

Had a fabulous day at Fishers with my 6 year old son. He particularly loved Skyfall, the climbing wall, Tropicana wagon run, soft play areas / slides and other rides. There was certainly enough to keep him entertained for a full day. He loves the freedom and variety the Farm offers The food outlets were good and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. It is amazing to see how the park has changed and improved over 35 years! We will return again.

Always a great day out at Fishers Farm. We travel from Wiltshire to meet friends half way. I’m happy to see some investment has been made to the park. The new entrance building with the gift shop is lovely. The woodland forest has been completely re done (photos attached). We are excited to try the ringos ramp when it’s finished next time we come as that was still being worked on. We especially loved the new baby sensory area inside. We had a great time at Fishers Farm Adventure Park — it’s a brilliant day out with lots to do and really well suited for younger children. The activities, rides, and play areas are perfect for under 12s, and my preschooler absolutely loved it. That said, it’s not ideal for teens, as there isn’t much to keep older kids entertained for long. Also, the pricing felt a bit unfair — my preschooler had to pay the same price as an adult, which was the only real downside of the visit. Other than that, it was a lovely day, the park is well maintained, and we’d definitely go again!

Visited Fishers Farm Park today with my 17 month old for the first time and wow what an amazing place. I have to say it's in my top 5 of places to go with children. Staff are so friendly and really good with the children, animals are well cared for and looked after and had lovely homes. There is so much to do there for children. So many play areas, rides (most are free), slides, sensory rooms, places to run, places to bounce and places to roam free! We had such a good day here. Food and drink is reasonably priced. Lots of areas to sit and have lunch too! Spent the whole day here and had such a great time! 10000% worth a visit!

Super cute small park with lots of going on. It has a small boating pond, train tracks and train that’s operating on weekends for kids, a playground, and bandstand. There are wooden sculptures of Alice in Wonderland, Red Queen, and a few other characters. Well behaved dogs are allowed to explore off a leash. It also has a cafe with a good selection of food and beverages. I would highly recommend this park if you’re visiting the area.

Nice little park, and gardens, a short walk from the centre of town and next to Butlins, with a boating lake and miniature railway. Nice café with plenty of seats outside, and there's picnic tables around the gardens.

This is a wonderful park with something for everyone—both my girls and our dogs love it! There are shady spots that make it perfect for summer visits. We usually grab an ice cream and wave hello to the people on the train.

A beautiful park, they really look after it. Train rides, brilliant cafe, excellent food. Massive 18-hole crazy golf course. Wildlife everywhere.boating lake. Some wild life trails visit every year when at butlins. They should have in every town. The place is buzzing with people, which is a great place to socialise.cafe food is excellent, high in price, but your paying for quality.

Lovely park with plenty of space for walk, little runs, play with kids, walk the dogs, few benches, and picnic tables. With a cafe, paddle area and little rail train. Plus some carved sculptures!! Everything seemed cleaned and well taken care of from the park staff.

I've been visiting Tilgate Park for many years and always have an enjoyable walk, whatever the weather. The walled garden is well kept and always worth a visit. Bought a cake from the cafe to takeaway which was yummy and homemade; although it's not always open so best to check before visiting/ relying on it being open for lunch/ snacks. There are features to see around the park and there are activities if you want to do them. Generally a lovely place to explore

My family and I had a wonderful experience with dinosaurs in the park, and my children love it! Their playground was a nice to play and lovely view of Tilgate Park. Stall foods were there and ride as well. It is good and fun for the May half term bank holiday weekend. 🦕☀️😍

For every age groups there this park has a place for them . Whether you enjoy a dog walk or sit and view birds or ducks on the lake or play with kids . Cafe shops are good .

Massive grounds with something for everybody; lakeside and woodland walks, a zoo, children's play atea and a couple of cafes - we visited the walled garden cafe. The grounds are dog-friendly and there is plenty of space for families and picnics.

We stayed with family and they took us to this park. Beautiful park to visit and see. They had a dinosaur theme and fair, great for the kids. Definitely worth it if you’re in that area.

Gorgeous open spaces. Their playground is huge. Boats to go on the lake are severely over priced so avoided those. Lovely day out.

A must see. The castle is huge and very interesting to visit. One can see the different periods of time of its occupation. The interiors exhibit very well reconstructed rooms. The garden is very rich and diverse. The stumpery was our favorite part, in particular thanks to the autumn colours. Full tour of the castle and gardens took us about 3 hours.

Stunning castle for history, art, and design lovers! Walking through the castle and keep felt like entering one of my many childhood drawings. The weather was lovely and the gardens made me si happy—there are greenhouses to visit, a rose garden, ponds, and so many wonderful interiors for a great day trip from London. Thank you!

Such an incredible experience! Visiting from the states, so I don't get a lot of castle tours, but this one was simply exceptional. From the gardens, to the castle tour, to the guides, and the cafe, we left with an amazing experience and tons of stunning shots! Highly recommend planning for a sunny day to enjoy the beautiful gardens. Truly an unforgettable experience! The setups were stunning to see and the staff was more than friendly and informative. Plus, the food was great! We shared a sausage roll and pasty, but ate it too quickly to snap a photo! If you're in the area, or wanting to make a day trip to the south, can't suggest Arundel further! It took us three to four hours to clear the grounds and castle altogether- it's worth the ticket!

Lovely place. Bit pricey, but the castle and grounds are huge, so you can spend most of the day there. It's really well set up, with a specific route that takes you through the whole castle and learn about its history. The gardens are equally stunning. Great visit. Would recommend.

Google's 50 picture limit means I can't show you the superior quality of this place. My favourite castle in the country, somewhere I've always wanted to visit, and by a long way the best one I've ever been to. I loved every second of being in here, I'd do it all again. The Duke of Norfolk is a very lucky man, to own this place must be a very special experience.

11th century castle has impressive grounds and you can explore the castle. Very informative volunteers who are happy to showcase the part of the castle they are located in. Beautiful gardens. The gift shop is lovely. One of the first houses to be fitted with electrical lights. Closes soon in early November

The most beautiful castle I've ever been too. Have visited before pre baby and did the whole castle, but attended again recently to visit the gardens only as had the baby in the pram which is not accessible in the castle for prams. It was absolutely stunning and better than I remembered. Looked extra lovely in the sunshine. Gardens were beautiful. The garden cafe was great, friendly lady there. Toilets also clean and spacious. We also met the lovely little puppy Titus who was wondering the grounds with it's owner.

Gorgeous day at the Tulip Fest in April. Got there very early whilst it was quiet and we were shocked by how massive it was and how much there was to do! The tulips were gorgeous and so impressive. Great food and information everywhere, friendly staff and lots to do and see!

Amazing Autumn Atmosphere! This pumpkin farm offers an absolutely amazing experience that goes far beyond simple pumpkin picking. The overall environment is welcoming, festive, and truly captures the spirit of the season. What truly elevates this spot is the phenomenal attention to detail in the spooky decoration. It's clear a huge effort was made to create a fun, slightly eerie atmosphere, providing fantastic photo opportunities at every turn. From hay bales to haunted props, the decor makes this the ultimate autumnal destination. The selection of gourds was plentiful, and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommended for a memorable, festive, and wonderfully creepy fall It was amazing 👏 I like the environment and spooky decoration!

I went pumpkin picking, and it turned out to be the perfect autumn activity. The atmosphere was festive and full of Halloween spirit, making it a wonderful place to visit during the season. It was such a fun and memorable experience!

Pleasant few hours spent picking pumpkins and toasting marshmallows with the kids. Most of the 'growing' pumpkins had already gone, but plenty more had been shipped in and were dotted around the field to select from. Lots of different varieties also available from the stores if you don't fancy pushing a wheelbarrow around the field! Didn't fancy the Ferris wheel, but probably provides great views if you don't mind heights.

Decided to relive my teenage nostalgia and return to Shocktober for the first time in seven years. Previously it was the place to go and made for a tremendous experience. This time round, it's sadly lost its touch. Massively oversold and overcrowded, it's clear profit is put before experience whereas it once was the other way round. Thankfully I’d purchased some fast track in advance as queue times were obscene. Even still, I had to queue for 10/15 mins in fast track lanes at times. Pros -Purgatory was quality and my favourite of all time. "Free Roaming" actors like the Skinfluencers were very funny and entertaining. Set design was absolutely fantastic as always. Cons - Far too many people allowed into haunts at a time/with too little time between groups. You'd either be caught up by the group behind or catchup the one infront. This KILLED the immersion and enjoyment massively. The flouting of their own rules was not enforced? There are clear rules that say no smoking/vaping, no face masks etc yet I saw people lighting up in the queues and a fair few road men in their finest bin bag attire (to impress their underage girlfriend) walking round ballied up like they've just robbed a bank. I know it's close proximity to Crawley but come on now... Better still was “security” where only those with a bag would be searched. If you hadn’t a bag, you were free to walk in with whatever you fancied! Knife? Acid in a lucozade bottle? Drugs? Must be part of your costume eh lad. Maybe that’s a critique due to my line of work but it did feel a bit pointless. All in all a shadow of its former self. I still had fun however and glad I returned, but think this'll be the last trip full stop. Kudos to the actors and event staff, they all work hard and probably for minimum wage. Sadly I don’t think the experience will be salvageable unless they actually cap ticket numbers drastically.

We had such a fantastic afternoon at Tulleys Farm. From the beautiful fall decor, the very large pumpkin patch, the roaming singers and cast in costume to the marshmellow roast stations (or smores station as they sell a kit too), pumpkin spice latte and ferris wheel we could only have a great time. We got to pick our own pumpkins straight from the patch and carry them in a wheelbarrow made available by the team who was nothing but welcoming. Can't carry big pumpkins home ? Fear not their collection of pumpkin plush toys will definitely call your name. If coming from London, you can either take the bus or more easily take a taxi as there are some available there just waiting to get you home safe. We will definitely make it a yearly tradition !

Shocktoberfest was excellent. Live bands, loads of scary things to do. The sacare mazes were great. Loads of different food stands and bars. The ste is absolutely huge, with a great atmosphere. We will definitely be going again.

The gardens are always lovely and such a pleasure to walk in at any time of year. The house was interesting with rooms open to see and lots of exhibits with information about the last owners and guests who had visited. The volunteer staff were knowledgeable and welcoming. A lovely day out.

Beautiful National Trust house and gardens. The trails are all pushchair/wheelchair friendly and there is so much to do and see. The wildflower garden is amazing and the café and facilities are all very good. I recommend going early as the car park filled up quickly.

Beautiful walk we took the orange route which took 2 hours with the 7 year old in toe but was an easy stroll . All dog owners were respectable and put their dogs on leads before crossing our path. My cane corso is very anxious and still in training it was a very stress free walk . Parking was free and plenty to see . I let my boy take the photos . So this what was seen by a 7 year old

Easy parking, great buggy tour with history talk for those in our party less able to walk. Beautiful gardens, romantic, wild feel to it all. Went for a walk in the woods down to a lake, just remember to take the code from reception so you can get through the gate and back into Nymans

A recent first for us to visit Nymans, and we've been twice in as many weeks..! Fantastic grounds, gardens, and the house too is a spectacular place, in it's semi-ruined state... Autumn also added to the feast of colour for the eyes as well... Will return again, that's for sure... 👍👍👍

A fantastic place to visit with kids. Nymans has so much open space for children to run around and explore—it’s perfect for a family day out. We brought a picnic and found plenty of peaceful spots with beautiful views to sit and relax. The gardens are full of interesting plants and flowers, and there’s always something new to spot and talk about. There were also children’s activities on during our visit, which kept the kids entertained for hours. They were completely absorbed and had such a great time. It’s one of those places where you can easily spend the whole day. Highly recommend for families!

Good old fashioned fun. Rides reasonably priced, excellent, polite and considered staff. Clean and tidy, seems very well looked after and maintained.

Good old-fashioned amusement park situated right on a Littlehampton Beach. Perfect for children of all ages. About two grandchildren who are 12 and 3 respectively enjoyed their specific rides. They also have amusement arcades where they can spend our hard-earned pennies 😊. Great to see everybody enjoying themselves especially in the good weather.

Treat for the kids and they absolutely loved it, especially the bumper cars. Plenty to keep them entertained, including the indoor amusement arcades and soft play. Right next to Littlehampton Beach, river Arun end, so you get the best of both worlds if you are making a day of it. Rides reasonably priced at £20 for ten tickets, bumper cars only 1 ticket per car, so if the kids share one, it makes the tickets last longer. All round excellent value for a fun few hours.

Looks great fun, all the usual rides and indoor amusements. We didn’t ride, so don’t know the prices. We did return to our childhoods by playing the 2p shove coin game, and I did have a big win, but obviously it all went back in the machine 😂🤣😂I wish they wouldn’t stick sweets and stuff on top of the coins! But fun all the same. We also ate the fish and chips which came extremely quickly and were scalding hot. The kitchen staff must be very efficient. The beach was packed and there was a dedicated life guard swimming area and also more lifeguards guarding the dangerous areas near the river outlet, which has furious currents, sometimes flowing inland. The boats on the river trying to get out to sea were having a hard time fighting against the inward flow of the tide.

5* for the children's soft play and toddler town area. Best and cheapest we have been to for a while. Not too big but big enough. Nice touches such as the interactive play screen on the top floor. The toddler town is very cool if your children like role play. There is 4 different role play scenes/rooms. Price was good for the soft play too and good variety of food and drinks. Nice and quiet on a school weekday. There were 3 families here when we went so the children really had a good run around. Finished our day off in the arcades. They have wooden step stools for little ones to use the arcade games. Some of the 2p machines gave out ticket prizes too so the little ones got to choose a prize at the end with them. All in all we had a lovely day out here and we didn't even go to the rides bit outside.

This was pretty cool. It’s like an obelisk with a spaceship that goes up and down the obelisk. It’s right in the sea shore at the beach and you get a 360 degree view of Brighton. There’s a bar inside. A couple of boats put on a show for us by going in circles. Takes 20 minutes. About £18 for seniors. Recommend.

Want to thank the wonderful, sparkly and all round fabulous Toyah for her warm welcome at the i360. Was inspired by her delicious looking iced coffee and ordered one! It was delicious btw! There’s a much more approachable feel to the cafe/bar area that I now like to pop to to have a beer or coffee which I probably wouldn’t have done before (!) Went on a sunny day and there was a lovely mellow Cafe Del Mar feel about it.. great music too. Love the seating on the beach too.. view is epic! The prices for residents to use the i360 are very reasonable (£5 I think?) so I’ll be dragging the fam down soon. Look forward to spending more time here! All the staff are excellent btw.. super friendly and well informed. Keep up the top work guys!

Our visit to the Brighton i360 was, unfortunately, a bit disappointing. First, the weather didn’t help—it was very cloudy on the day, which meant the views were far less impressive than expected. We knew that was beyond their control, but the rest of the experience didn’t make up for it. The ride is advertised as lasting 30 minutes, but our tickets were for the 6:00–6:30 pm slot and we were back down by 6:20 pm—so just 20 minutes in total. It would have been nice if they had lingered longer at the top to make the most of the view. After the security check, we noticed a small bar in the waiting area, but there were no staff on hand to serve drinks. It felt like it was just there for show, which was disappointing. Considering the online price was £18.50 per person (and even more—£20.50—at the ticket counter), it felt expensive for what we got. Between the short ride, average views, and lack of service, it wasn’t great value for money.

First time in brighton and decided to come here and had the best experience and we would really like to thank Patrick who was a member of staff on our journey he could not have been more helpful. Took pictures when we asked checked in on us then we asked about pens (I need a pen wherever I visit) he explained where then walked out with us and showed us exactly where they were. Him and all the other staff were very friendly chatty and genuinely seemed like they wanted to be there and enjoying there jobs. Thanks so much for a brilliant experience

Great experience, love go on attractions like this one which take you high up so you can see across wherever you are in this case Brighton. It was a very smooth ride, you could t feel any motion until you looked at the centre pole. I would highly recommend doing this.

My family and I, enjoyed our visit to the Brighton i360. The viewing tower offers breathtaking 360° views over the coastline, the city. Although the weather was not great, overall the experience was smooth and well organized, and the staff were friendly. Definetly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Great attraction for the city!

Quite the amazing experience and not what I expected. We are not royal followers but loved this place. Indian style architecture on the exterior with much more east asian influenced art on the interior. Gorgeous interiors with so much detail, the opulence of it all astounded us and made us sad at the same time. Amazingly well restored to its original state. Even the behind the scenes like the kitchen were impressive. Spent about 45 minutes. National Art Pass had free admission included.

My dear, one simply must experience the Royal Pavilion. It is, to put it mildly, a magnificent and rather scandalous confection of a building, a triumph of architectural audacity over good sense. One feels that King George IV, in a fit of sublime madness, decided to erect a palace that was less a home and more a spectacular, and slightly over-decorated, opium dream. To call it 'Indian' in style is to show a charming ignorance of geography. It is, rather, a whimsical and theatrical interpretation of the Orient, as imagined by a man with too much money and an insatiable desire for novelty. The onion domes and minarets are quite a spectacle, and one is inclined to applaud the sheer chutzpah of it all. Inside, the effect is even more pronounced. The Banqueting Room is a riot of dragons, lotuses, and gilded bamboo, a testament to the belief that more is always, in fact, more. One can almost see the Prince Regent, draped in silks, holding court amongst such exquisite vulgarity. It is a place of delightful excess, a monument to a time when taste was a matter of flamboyant display rather than dreary restraint. To visit is to be reminded that the truly interesting life is one lived in glorious and unashamed extravagance.

Please don’t miss this jewel in Brighton!!! Only palace in UK NOT PART OF THE crown! Worth every pence!!! Ornate Maximus! Indian style architecture with oriental decor inside… very varied history… friendly staff … The gem of Brighton!! Full of surprises! Main floor toilet could have been cleaner!

This royal palace is well worth a visit! It's Eastern decor and interior bring it to life. Geometric wallpaper, patterned carpets and luxury bedrooms, you'll find them all! Can be slightly expensive but worth the money. Your visit will take between an hour and two depending how much you want to read.

The beautiful Royal Pavillion is well worth a visit. Luxury luxury luxury. King George certainly liked the spectacular. It is all very well presented and is stunning I particularly liked the kitchen - have a good look round to spot interesting fun items. It takes 2-3 hours but, unlike many stately homes/palaces, there are a few places where you can sit a while to take in the stunning architecture and decor. Great value for money. Thank you to everyone responsible for maintaining this magnificent piece of history in sunny Brighton.

First visit in many years and it all seemed 'new'. A museum guide gave an excellent commentary as we entered and later in the dining room. It's a grossly overdone interior and fascinating to learn about. Brilliant gift shop too.

Nice to walk around and enjoy the sea view, but the visit is quite short. The pier is mostly filled with attractions, arcade games, and lots of food stalls (churros, donuts, etc.), so not much else to really do. Still, it’s a beautiful spot and worth seeing for the view over the sea and the coastline.

Brighton Beach is a lively seaside spot full of energy and charm. The pebble shore, colorful promenade, and iconic pier make it a fun place to relax, eat, and explore. It can get crowded in summer, but the atmosphere is always vibrant.

Always worth a visit. Especially with kids. Nothing amazing or groundbreaking but perfect for a couple of hours. Playing the 2pence machines is fun and cheap. The waterslide and some other fares, a 🍦 to round it off, what more do you want!

Brighton Pier is such an iconic place to visit. £2 entry to the pier. Lots to see, do, eat and experience. A trip back in time with rides, amusement games, soft serve ice creams, fish and chips, and lovely ocean views. You do need to purchase separate tickets for the rides. Go as an adult and feel like a kid again.

Such a fun spot to wander around! Seaside fun with arcades, rides, and all the snacks you could want. The views out over the water are beautiful, and there’s a lively, nostalgic atmosphere. Perfect for a stroll, a few cheeky snacks, and soaking up the coastal vibes.

Absolutely lovely place to visit. Great vibe, a lot of people during summer season, a lot of things to do for everyone, no matter of the age. Funfairs, bars, restaurants, souvenir shop and other nice places to visit. You can rent a chair for £5 or sub bed for £10 for the whole day, collector is walking around. Also, pls bring flip flops as it’s very hard to walk on stones.
