In Germany, one of the best place to trekking especially in winter. I have been to Harz twice. I witness both summer and winter. I like winter more than summer. That view , snow fall, trees, everything was amazing to see... Total 18 km trek. Take some juice , fruits and food. You will definitely need it. I would recommend you guys to go and enjoy the beautiful place. I liked it.

Beautiful nature park with easy mountain peaks, stunning views and scenery. Expect some gravel paths, a few bicycle paths and lots of elephant paths. Make sure to check out the highest peaks around and go for the boulders at the end to fully enjoy the highlights this area has to offer. You're able to fly your drone here as well. Few camp grounds around, so you're able to plan your multiple day hiking trip around those.

We stayed in Harz for a good few days with friends. The amount of beautiful trails, viewpoints, ... Is incredible. In every season stunning. I suggest winter and the peak of autumn. Wake up early and enjoy. Brocken is amazing at sunset! But dont forget to take the train back on time.

I come here for 50 years now and keep coming back. It is a mesmerising area that really calms you down. There is so much to see and do, from nature and culture to outdoor activities. For me the place to go if I need a break.

I have to admit I didn’t make it all the way to the top. After being packed in the back of an open train car for an hour, I got off and took a train back down the mountain. The 96 euro cost for two adults is an insane price to pay for no seat assignment. The regional trains are very nice, affordable, not packed, and air conditioned. The nostalgia of steam isn’t worth the hassle.

Beautiful castle with spectacular views of Wernigerode and Harz mountains. Very busy during my visit & somewhat disorganized. Could only find paid parking nearby with additional expense for a shuttle bus. However, there are several shuttle bus companies and you can't tell which is which until the driver kicks you off. But, still a nice place to visit.

Pro tip: Go early or late in the day to avoid crowds and heat. Bring water, good shoes, and a bit of adventurous spirit!

Worth the walk uphill. Go early to beat the crowds. Enjoy a beer at the cafe inside. It’s a lot quieter than the one outside. On the walk down I took a detour on some of the paths. Very green and beautiful woods.

Impressive Romanesque church from the beginning of the 12th century on the site of an older buildings. In the crypt is the grave of the first German King Henry I. from year 936. Clean architecture, amazing Romanesque columns.

Really old church with loads of history. Was the burial place of Henry 1 who's considered to be the first German king. Pay to go in. It's a bit of a steep climb up to it but good views outside. No toilets but there are cafés on the way who will let you use theirs if you buy a drink or pay.

If you can return at another time when the renovations have finished, do that. We felt a bit cheated for paying in order to get into the well-guarded church full of scaffolding 🤨 The treasure was interesting but not abundant. The organ was being tuned so that also wasn't great. Nice personel. Probably worth the trip, when the renovations are done (when the other castle museum is also open).

Cathedral is reconstructed so its not really lot of historic building in situ but city is stunning and one of nicest in whole germany, def ecomend as a day trip. Happy to went there

Nice museum showing the history of Quidlinburg and the castle. Very informative when you can read and understand German - which we luckily do. Not much information in English. The whole walk to the castle is super nice with the old streets and there is a fantastic view over the city from the castle garden.

Not one of the most famous and therefore not very crowded. If you are in Leipzig or Dresden, it's good for a day trip. I'd especially recommend the guided tour to the upper floors of the tower.

But for those who are more amazed by architectures, not really a bucket-list material. But I guess you’ll drop by because this is the no.1 sightseeing spot in Magdeburg. Oh by the way, it’s two euros to take photos inside. I would consider this as a donation to maintain this robust structure. Enjoy!

Gorgeous. A fun fact: The Magdeburger Dom is the oldest gothic cathedral in all of Germany!!! The people here are incredibly kind. And the outside is just as beautiful as the inside. I highly recommend taking some time to walk in a circle around the entire complex; you will thank me later!!! :)

The place is really good. There are two nearby houses on which vines and Ivy has grown which looks really amazing. The Elbe river is just 100 meter's from this Cathedral. One can walk along the bank of the Elbe river too. There are many nearby good restaurants too and the tram station is near too. One can reach the Cathedral within 10 minutes from the nearest tram station.

Huge. Dark. Impressive. Beautiful. A must-see when visiting Magdeburg. The high towers are a landmark that can be seen from far away already. Go inside and get lost beneath the perfectly crafted gothic construction which reaches high up into the sky. If you get lucky you might be hearing the organist doing some rehearsals.

A truly unique architectural gem in Magdeburg, designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and completed in 2005, shortly after his death. The building breaks away from conventional architecture with its irregular forms and rooftop gardens. While visually striking, the interior spaces—especially the shops and hotel—could benefit from more curated content that reflects Hundertwasser’s philosophy. In many ways, it feels like a cousin to Gaudí’s works in Barcelona, though on a much smaller and more commercial scale.

It’s a very special building, several shops, cofe shop on the first floor. If you want to go to the top, have to buy ticket at information place and people bring you inside every hour. We don’t have time this trip, but only the ground floor, very interesting shops a lot!

We took the tour (which was almost hourly during the weekend) which was surprisingly interesting. We learned a lot of cool and interesting facts about Hundertwasser and got to explore the different rooftop areas of the building. The Japanese restaurant on the ground floor is also worth a stop :)

A little film made when one of the houses was first built, showing all the modern devices in the home showed what the houses could look like inside. The master house has been rebuilt by the berlin based studio Bruno Fioretti Marques in a contemporary way: volume and windows has been restored with new materials like light concrete and milky glass. Amazing! This place was a world leader and is symbollic and of the modern movement in architecture and design in Europe in the 1900s. Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. It has been restored, true to the original design after being closed by the racist regime of the 1930s. Well worth the visit for architects and designers.

Must-see for those interested in modernism and architecture as a whole. You can roam a part of the building freely. However, all classrooms and the entire student flats block are sadly inaccessible for visitors (except if you book a night in a flat!). The shop has a great selection of souvenirs. The workers were warm and friendly.

The ticket for Bauhaus+Museum+Master's Houses is 27€ and it's completely worth it. The place is amazing, and the temporary exhibitions are always really good. Will visit again!

Mmmmm I love the bahhaus movement and the art from that time, but the institute itself doesnt do much for me. The exhibitions inside are about the history of the buildin; its beginnings, its time during nazi rule, its reconstruction, and its preservation. Another one focused on the design of one of the bauhaus styled lights. Both were interesting but I was hoping to simply see more bauhaus art (go to the museum for that). The structure itself, while iconic, didnt do much for me either. I think when it was built, it would have been revolutionary. I did love seeing the bauhaus styled lamps irl though :)

The worst massage ever. Both for me and my friend. It wasn't a massage at all. My mother does better. We asked for a strong massage but we just got a stroke for 69 euros each. Never ever. Veeeery disappointing. And we said several times that we want a strong massage both to the girl at the reception and to the lady who was executed massage. Waste of money.

Really really nice. Clean and warm. The water music room is very relaxing. The staff at the eating place (cafe/restaurant) inside the water area were very friendly. The grounds are also lovely. Great place for children and adults. There is one bigger pool in the middle (it is not a swimming pool) and around it there are two smaller even warmer baths/pools. There are various jacuzzi-like places with air bubbled through the water and the air seems to be warm (unlike some other places I experienced where they use cold air which is unpleasant). There is small very shallow pool good for really small children. Plenty of places to sit or lie down. And there is one outside warm and salty pool, with nice loungers around it. We were there for 5 happy hours from 11:30am until 16:30 on a Saturday and it was not at all crowded.

Came to use the pool area. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere, with multiple pools of varying temperatures. Definitely enjoyed the salt water pool, with the music and changing lights. Came here in February, our trip in May and will be back on our next holiday!

Absolutely fascinating. Excellent museum to be found attached to the church, with some of the best audio visual demonstrations I have seen, by that I mean they are easy to use and in several different languages and capable of being tailored to suit the user (eg magnified if you don't have your glasses :-) ). The Tower is well worth the climb with magnificent views over the city and surrounding countryside. Martin Luther's grave is in this church and this is the church he nailed his famous theses to.

Among the Martin Luther and Reformation related art and artifacts is this memorial to those local soldiers killed in the First World War. Apart from the language no different to those in a thousand British churches. Reminds us that it's ordinary citizens who always do the dying in a war.

The main Lutherhaus is currently temporarily closed but we could visit the absorbing exhibition Literally Luther (Buchstäblich Luther). It gave lots of insight into Luther the person rather than as church reformer. The attached photos are from the exhibition as seen in May 2025.

Unfortunately the house-part was closed because of renovation!!:((( ( In Germany they renovate a lot of things in the high season!!!!) But there was another exhibition in the other part of the ex-monastery. The building is amazing and the exhibition is very interesting. I got a lot of new information about the group who worked with Luther they made me imagine how they translated the Bible. I can recommend if you are in Wittenberg!

Really informative museum of Luther’s life and religious legacy. You can find the house after walking through this large stone gate - picture added. The museum itself chronologically outlines major milestones in Luther’s “career”, you could say. It is astounding to see what one person’s courage could do for an entire religion.

Great experience! The tandem instructors go the extra mile to make you feel calm, comfortable and make it a memorable event. Our instructors spoke English and seem highly experienced. I was impressed even more by their landing skills. Ivan was my tandem partner and he did such an amazing job. We took the video and photos package which was sent to us soon after our jump was completed. Highly recommend!!

I jumped last Sunday morning. Despite the warnings, everything went very quickly and comfortably — at least for me. Both my instructor Ivan and the operator were very positive and pleasant people, and jumping with them was a real pleasure. Ivan dispelled my last worries with his light and friendly approach, speaking fluently in German, Russian, and English. I can recommend this to everyone!

My instructor was super positive and full of energy, making the experience even more enjoyable. the other lady who joined us to capture the video and photos, did an excellent job of catching every special moment. Even the driver who picked me up from the nearest train station was incredibly friendly. The entire team was fun and chill just like the name "FunJump" suggests. Didn’t feel embarrassed or awkward any seconds. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I can see why they have such high ratings !

I jumped on Wednesday and loved every second of it. Would’ve jumped again if I could. Ivan was an amazing tandempilot and made the experience all the better. But Ivan….I blame you for making me want to get certified now….poor financial decisions incoming 😿😂

I had my very first skydive here and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The instructors were professional, very friendly, and made me feel safe from start to finish. The whole team created such a positive and welcoming atmosphere that my fear quickly turned into pure excitement. Jumping out of the plane and flying through the sky was the most amazing feeling of freedom. Thanks a bunch for making this day so special. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who dreams about skydiving! Don’t think about it too much – just do it!🔥

We found this place online because we wanted to get away from Berlin for the day We didn’t expect to find a beautiful interesting place, we loved the views from the tree tops , 👌 You can see the quality of the work they put into the structures they built around the old sanatorium ruins. It’s worth the price of entry.

Found this by chance while looking for attractions on our way into Berlin. Well worth the stop to view the massive site and learn about the history of the facility. The old buildings were amazing and beautiful. The sky walk was really interesting and we spent 3 hours here and wish he had more time there to take a tour. The Halloween decorations were still up but this would be super cool spooky place to be on Halloween.

The walk at the bridge above the forest is very nice The rest is kinda of forest with old buildings that you can access for additional price from 17 to 50€, and only with guided tour. To be honest I don’t get what are they charging for The food at the cafeteria is not that good Overpriced

It’s a nice place to walk around, but a bit pricey since the basic ticket only covers entry and the trail. To go inside the buildings, you need to join a tour and pay extra. That said, it’s well organized, with lots of benches, toilets, and a few restaurants. Card payments are possible

It's not a free visit, and It's not just 3 or 5 euros. It's at least 13,50 (full price) for the ticket. With this you have access to the platform and can approach the buildings, but for visiting inside you need book a tour. Definitely best to go during autumn. Really close do the train station.

I'm afraid of heights, but it wasn't so bad over there. As long as you stay away from the railing or stick to the ground level, it's actually quite manageable. I felt safe and could still enjoy the place without any problems.

on 3rd of Oktober it was extremely full and 17€ just for a walk without possibility to go i side of any of objects is quite expensive and too less possibilities to have lunch… half an hour queue to have simple food with ratings 2.9 🥲 and once you go out for food, you can not go back. it has amazing panorama view though!

It's a fantastic place for families and children. There are plenty of activities, delicious food, and local products. I recommend purchasing tickets online, whether daily or yearly, so your kids can experience and explore every playground multiple times without extra charges. You need the whole day to check everything, it's a vast place.

We had a wonderful day at Karl’s Erlebnis-Dorf Berlin! It’s a perfect place for families, my kids absolutely loved the playgrounds, the tractor ride, and of course the strawberry-themed shops and sweets. Everything is very well organized, clean, and full of fun activities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there are many nice spots to relax with coffee or snacks. The homemade jams and candies are delicious, and we couldn’t leave without buying some souvenirs. Definitely recommend spending a full day here great memories for both kids and adults!

Great place to visit with the whole family. Lots of entertainment options and food. Reasonable prices considering that it's an amusement park. For example: Bier costs 3 Euros, döner that you can share 9 Euros, snacks between 3 and 10 Euros. We came on a Sunday morning and it was quite empty so we could go to the games without many queues. Definitely worth getting the Tageskarte to get access to all the games plus 3% discount in the shop.

The place is wonderful, but the outdoor rides close as early as 7 PM, while the shop stays open until 8 PM sharp. It’s better not to come on a weekend — there are too many people and the waiting time is quite long

Oh, what a cutesy strawberry-themed park! Lots of reasons to spend a full day out. It's especially engaging and entertaining for the kids. The rides are not too adrenaline-rushing for adults but surely bring a smile. The venue is spread out, offers cafes and eateries comprising Erdbeer Döners, burgers & fries, coffee and pancakes, apart from ice-creams, jams, marmalades etc. Some rides had long waiting times and when the turn finally came, the ride lasted for just 2 mins. The ice scultptures in the Ice Welt were mesmerizing and fairy-tale like. Overall, you won't regret spending your day out at Elstal with your cherished ones 🍓🐻. They also have a special pass offering yearly membership (multiple visits).

I really recommend to try strawberry döner as well as home made chips. Very creative decorations. We had a blast there.

I was a bit sceptic going here but I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It’s truly a gem for skaters. The road is wide and smooth, we could even skate with dogs. It was a beautiful weather on March 8

Beautiful place, beautiful trails. Amazing that this exists- such great paths for biking. People are friendly, there are cafes and vending machines. Varied scenery of fields and forest. Cannot recommend it enough.

Unbelievable that a skate and bike track like this exists anywhere in the world! It's a network of a few hundred km spawning around Berlin thru pristine landscapes, natural protected areas and rural villages. Made for purists to enjoy perfect tracks thru the most beautiful areas around Berlin!

Absolutely awesome!!! In CZ are some good places for skating and I also tried skating around Bärwalder See, but this is much higher level of skating. Quality of the roads are perfect. The roads are through forests, meadows, fields, villages. You can choose between many ways and distances. We met just a few people.

If you like skating, you definitely have to try this area. Hundreds od kilometers of skating paths divided into several circles so you can decide how much you want to skate. There are very few people on the road so you will enjoy the ride and nature around. Few swimming options along the way are welcomed during summer time.

Have been there many times. Most recently, today! 😊 As everyone says, this is a bad choice if you’re creeped out by nudity. Even on textile days, you’re gonna have to face that. Otherwise, I have to say the place changes character quite a lot depending on when you go. On this Monday evening, it was very chill. The warm pool with the swim-up bar is to die for. Worth the trek just for that! It’s also a solid 1/2 train ride from Berlin, then a 15 minute walk. Very doable, but just so you know!

Pretty nice overall though a bit too crowded for my taste. Probably best to avoid Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends. Wide range of saunas but nothing too special. The food is hit or miss. The pasta dishes are terrible but the pizza was tasty and not too expensive.

Awesome in winter. First suggestions: - Needs more infusion sessions. (At least 2 saunas at the same time. Especially in winter.) Pros: - Huge variety and huge pools are really awesome. - Really big facility. - Safe environment.

I am a big fan of FKK culture and often swim naked at Lakes. I love the architecture, the water temperatures, the heavenly salt water pool outside at this place. However a recent visit was very unpleasant. Old and extremely cantankerous people patrol the pool and verbally assault anyone wearing a swim suit. My partner and son were uncomfortable being naked in the swimming pool and were therefore repeatedly harassed. The staff are mostly absent and horrible angry elderly grouches are allowed to assert ownership of this otherwise lovely place

The staff was super polite, the pools had joyful temperatures and sufficient sun loungers available. The restaurant offers a very good selection of light meals and a rich salad bar. We're looking forward to visiting the Wohlfühlterme again soon.

We visited this place today. We travelled quite a long way to get here. It's a really great place to relax, no reason to regret it. We did not encounter any situations where the issue of nudity was not respected by other visitors. On Monday, we expected less traffic, but we were quite surprised. There were really a lot of people already at 10 a.m. I hope that rules here will be maintained and won't change. We'll definitely be back.

I love this place and visit it every time I am back Home in Berlin for a visit. My Buddies and I just enjoy it very much. In the Summer you can relax outside and work on your Tan. The Food is very good and there are a lot of options. The Facilities are very clean and well Maintained. I get a Massage every time and it rounds out the experience for me. It's certainly a great way relax and forget what is going on. Especially in the current situation. I am glad that they where able to weather the Storm and survive. I love all the different Saunas and Steam Rooms. There is something to do for everybody. I love relaxing in the Pool by the Bar and enjoy a nice Beer with my friends. It's such a cool feature. I am not sure why people complain about this place being FKK/ You should perhaps do some research before going. There are days where you can go and be dressed. I guess being German it's not a big deal for me at. I am going to be back in Berlin in August for a few month and will for sure visit it several times while there. Some of the interactive exhibits didn't seem to work which would be troublesome for those who needed audio guidance. The computers we were using at one point just all turned off. I would recommend it but it needs a full day and plenty of energy for all of the walking and some stamina for the reading. I think they offer guided tours but I'm not certain.

Very interesting, however not every animal was actually there to see. Some species of monkeys were not present. But monkeys are monkeys I guess. The cutest were the Pandas. The coolest was walking inside the cage where they kept some vultures and Owls. The nearly extinct sumatra tiger is the most interesting for me because fewer than 400 of them remain. I recommend you buy the tickets online on their website!

Berlin Zoo is a great day activity for families with kids. The place is beautiful, stroller friendly, with in door and outdoor displays. The stars of the show were the Pandas and the Penguin enclosure. Our toddlers also enjoyed watching the seals play in the waters.

I had an amazing time visiting the Berlin Zoo. It’s one of the most impressive and well-organized zoos I’ve ever been to. The variety of animals is outstanding — from giant pandas and big cats to exotic birds and unique species you rarely see elsewhere. Each enclosure is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to resemble the animals’ natural habitats. The zoo is also beautifully landscaped, making it a pleasure to walk around. There are plenty of shaded paths, resting areas, and great spots for families with children. The staff are friendly and always ready to share interesting facts about the animals. Overall, the Berlin Zoo offers a wonderful experience for visitors of all ages. It’s educational, entertaining, and truly memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Berlin!

This is the best zoo I’ve seen so far. Exploring it takes at least 4–5 hours. And if you’re planning to visit the aquarium as well, it will take almost a full day. Make sure not to leave without seeing the pandas.

My spouse and I recently visited Berlin Zoo, and while we really enjoyed seeing animals whose populations are declining worldwide—and animals that we, as humans, normally wouldn’t have the chance to see in their natural habitats—there were several things that left us disappointed. A large number of the birds were kept indoors and out of sight due to the cold weather, which is completely understandable, but still unfortunate for visitors. The reptiles and invertebrates section, which is one of the three main parts of the aquarium, was entirely closed because of renovations. Besides that, several other large areas of the zoo were also closed and inaccessible for the same reason. Despite all this, and without clear prior information, we paid nearly 70 euros for two people on a weekday, which left us quite upset. I strongly believe that by paying this amount, we deserved to experience the entire park—otherwise, the ticket price should have been lower.

The zoo was beautiful, very well designed, and we really loved it. Even though it was raining, it was still super comfortable, with plenty of impressive indoor areas. Highly recommended!

The most beautiful Zoo that my husband and I have visited. 🥰 It's really huge. 😁 You need to reserve a whole day for the excursion. Unfortunately, we didn't have that time. 😓 Because this Zoo has really beautiful enclosures for the animals. The animals are in the best condition. They are really happy. 😌😍 The workers takes very good care of the entire Zoo. We liked everything here. 😍 Unfortunately, we're sorry that we didn't see everything. However, the price for admission is good and acceptable.👍😊

We had a great time visiting the Berlin Wall exhibit near Bahnhof Potsdamer Platz. It was a powerful and educational experience, especially sharing it with the kids. Seeing the actual remnants of the Wall sparked some meaningful conversations about history, freedom, and unity. The displays around the site are very informative, with photos and facts that helped us understand the significance of this area during the Cold War. We learned how Potsdamer Platz was once a desolate “no-man’s land” and is now a vibrant part of the city — such a striking transformation! It’s a quick stop, but packed with history. A great way to introduce kids to this important piece of the past while enjoying all the excitement Berlin has to offer nearby. Highly recommend!

An amazing building to visit when in Berlin. Tickets must be booked well in advance. We booked for breakfast which was delicious with excellent views of Berlin. You cannot get in the restaurant unless you have booked . We were so glad we did . We arrived before our allotted time as it takes time to go through security. Once in you are free to explore the Norman Foster glass dome with 360 degree views of Berlin. It is an impressive structure to top such an iconic building. A real mix of modern and classical architecture with so much history

One of the most famous tourist attractions in Berlin. You need to book online before visiting the building and the dome. Interesting historical building with a modern glass dome. The architecture is impressive, but the visit feels a bit overrated. Long waiting times and security checks make the experience less enjoyable. The view from the dome is nice, but not as spectacular as expected.

One of the best things I did whilst in Berlin. From the famous dome you can see across Berlin, allowing you to see uninterrupted sights of the cities best and most famous locations. When you reach the top floor, make sure to pick up a pamphlet on your left. This will show the whole panoramic view from the top of the dome. It points out major sights, including some of the prettiest buildings I’ve ever seen. Once you reach the top, the open air dome with seats around the centre allow you to sit or lay back and relax. For our mad touristy day this made a nice break. I could sit here for hours. I’m confused why it isn’t busy as it was a spectacle every tourist needs to see! Security is tight as this is the main government building in Germany. Many high profile politicians and government officials come here daily. Make sure to bring some IDENTIFICATION if you don’t you will be refused entry! Bags are also searched. One of my favourite parts of my trip! Would recommend to everyone.

The sheer size of the structure is simply enormous. When I first saw it, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s a marvel to witness how they managed to construct an entire structure and place a modern dome on top. The entrance to the building is well-organized and heavily guarded, which is completely justified. As you ascend to the dome, you can explore the surrounding areas. It’s an incredible experience to walk up the slope of the dome to reach the top. At the base of the dome, you can learn about the building’s history and how the German government has evolved over time. The views are breathtaking, so I highly recommend hiring you to recommend this place to everyone. You will need to make sure to make arrangements ahead of time to visit this place. Ticket is a must and needs to be planned in advance.

I first went to the front lawn of the Reichstag and then rode around the Spree to catch a glimpse from across the river. It looked majestic from every direction. Standing there gave me a perspective — life can be cruel, but these monuments have witnessed history, stood the test of time, and still remain strong.

The Reichstag is well worth visiting, especially for the glass dome with its panoramic views of Berlin. Entry is free, but advance online registration is required, and security is strict, so plan some extra time. The visit is well-organized and informative, with a good balance of sightseeing and learning about the German parliament.

Berlin is a unique city where past and future meet. The Museum Island is extraordinary, and walking along the Berlin Wall remains moving. The city is lively, multicultural, full of art and nightlife. Great international food and convenient transport to get around everywhere.

Visited September 2025. This was my first stop after arriving in Berlin. It is a real cool Roman style gate. The details in the design are elegant. This is a good starting point for traveling around the area to see a large number of historical attractions.

It’s a must see in Berlin as it forms the backdrop to so much of Berlin’s history. We arrived just after 9 on a Monday morning before the crowds arrive, but even at 4 in the afternoon there was no problem moving through the area. The U-Bahn has a stop in Unter den Linden within 100 metres of the gate, and the road is generally closed to traffic. There are good interpretive signs about the various architectural and decorative aspects of the structure. The Berlin Wall line lies just to the east of the Gate and can be followed throughout the city. There are a number of eateries in close proximity, from street food to restaurants, as well as other historical locations.

Standing here feels powerful — history, freedom, and unity all in one place. Especially beautiful at sunset when the lights come on. A true symbol of Berlin

Breathtaking place with a lot of history behind it. Go early morning or late night if you want to take the best picture since the place gets crowded during the day. Best pictures at night because of the lighting.

Its an interesting monument but I found that having very little information available or from the tour guide a bit average. Nobody knows the designers' reasons for the layout, etc, and it's left to your imagination. I didn't find it a moving monument like others and didn't feel it really captured the gravity of the situation or really provided a strong memorial for thise lost unfortunately, but thats just my view. It seemed to just be a bunch of concrete blocks and I feel so much more could have been done

A truly wonderful free museum lies beneath these memorial stones. We had a very thought provoking and deeply interesting 90 minutes in this museum. It's beautifully put together and you need to take the time to observe and absorb all the information on show. It's time well spent.

Great monument, quite immersive. Been there at night in November which adds to the atmosphere of the total silent horror. Never again. Am israel chai.

A good place to explore the history. The memorials were proposed by a new york architect in early 2000s. Would recommend to visit the museum under them as well

A very somber area located in Central Berlin designed to be very thought provoking in remembering the 6 million men women & children murdered by the German nazi party.

A totally shocking museum of the horrors of the Nazi regime. It is an extensive documentation of the brutal treatment of certain sections of society that did not fit in with the party's ideals. An outside display covers the pre-war to post-war eras and inside the museum large displays are enhanced by information boards covering aspects of the subject in more detail. A must visit museum if you are in Berlin. Can be busy with school groups. Free entrance.

The Topography of Terror is a powerful and very moving place to visit. The exhibition is well-presented, informative and deeply thought-provoking, showing the darkest part of German’s history. A must-see for anyone wanting to understand the city beyond its landmarks. This exhibition proves that Berlin doesn’t hide history, they learn from it.

Excellent. Since I last visited, they have added an indoor exhibition which is very good. It's also free and we thought it was better than the Checkpoint Charlie museum that we paid €18 to visit.

The Topography of Terror is an absolutely incredible and essential place to visit in Berlin. It was truly one of the best experiences I had, especially when listening to the audio guide—it brings the whole site to life. It's incredibly powerful and thought-provoking. I highly recommend it!
