Hostatgeria del Santuari de Cura

Hotel

Hostatgeria del Santuari de Cura is a charming rustic hotel located in a 14th-century mountaintop monastery, offering a quaint restaurant with beautiful scenic views. Situated in the heart of Mallorca, it is surrounded by countryside and located just 5 km from the small town of Randa. Staying at Santuari de Cura was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect – set high up on a mountain, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the island. You can see so far and so clearly, and the scenery is simply stunning. Having breakfast with such a view, enjoying a cup of coffee while looking out over the island, was truly magical and something I will never forget. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to Julia, the administrator. She was incredibly kind, warm, and responsive, always answering my emails within an hour with great politeness and care. Thanks to her genuine attention and kindness, she arranged for us a fantastic room with two windows and an absolutely spectacular view of the island. It felt like a wonderful gift, and I am endlessly thankful for this thoughtful gesture. Julia’s warm personality and her willingness to help made our stay even more special. Because of her and the beautiful atmosphere of Santuari de Cura, our time there was simply perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly unique and unforgettable stay on Mallorca!

Beautiful place on top of the hill near Palma de Mallorca. We stayed there for 3 nights in April, the venue was stunning, but the stuff not well prepared for the guests, especially during breakfast and dinner. Wifi was weak on our suite. Everything was clean. Reception lady was quite helpful. Nothing to do for the kids except catching the local cats.
Maja H — Google review
very quiet and idyllic, great 360 panorama over the whole island easy free parking, at the restaurant/café you can sit inside or outside and enjoy the view
Leo N — Google review
We loved staying here! We changed places during our time in mallorca but this one was the absolute best. The staff and everyone were very kind and available. Having breakfast here was blissful because you’re surrounded by nature and it’s very peaceful. Also has the best view and you can enjoy the sunset. 🌅
Klejda H — Google review
Beautiful hotel, breathtaking views. Perfect place to refuge at night after having spent the day at the beaches of Mallorca. Not to mention their restaurant is also top.
Serge Y — Google review
the sanctuary is on top of a mountain where you can catch the sunset and sunrise. the check in process was very easy. the restaurant is very convenient, as well as the breakfast service. however, the bathroom has a lingering smell from the sewage system (i believe), which was quite unpleasant.
Nicholas H — Google review
This hotel is perched on the very top of a mountain, clearly visible from afar thanks to a white observatory dome that looks amusingly like a giant golf ball on a tee. The views from up here are truly spectacular — you can even see Palma in the distance. We stayed in a corner room with two panoramic windows, which made the scenery even more impressive. The room was simple but had everything we needed, including a fridge. The terrace restaurant offers one of the most beautiful sunset dining settings imaginable. It’s also the perfect spot for a private evening picnic on the hillside, with local Mallorcan red wine, cured meats, goat cheese, and olives — pure magic. Breakfast with a view was a lovely start to each day, and the overall quietness made the atmosphere deeply relaxing. Downside: unfortunately, a bad sewage smell came from the bathroom and spread into the room, which made staying inside rather unpleasant
Ugis D — Google review
Very good view, it is also quite quiet. The parking is free and there was loads of spaces. You can see the island from the top and you can see the airport with the planes coming into land. There is a church and restaurant too.

Farm
Nature & Parks
ARTESTRUZ is a charming educational center located on an ostrich farm, offering an enjoyable experience for families with children. Visitors can engage in activities such as feeding, petting, and even riding the ostriches. The staff are known for their friendliness and attentiveness to both the animals and visitors. The guided tours provide valuable insights into the care of these magnificent birds, creating a memorable and informative visit for all.
This farm is truly remarkable, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Their knowledge about ostriches is impressive, making the entire experience unforgettable. We had the pleasure of trying ostrich scrambled eggs, which were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend calling ahead to check the availability of ostrich eggs, as this allows you to enjoy a full breakfast on-site. A visit to this farm is definitely worth it, and we can't wait to return!
Angie S — Google review
Amazing day here today with the lovely hosts of this ostrich farm, fell in love with the ostriches and as we'd travelled a distance to see them we spent several hours here. I was skeptical about whether this visit would appeal to me but went with my sister and we both had such fun, we even heard one of them "singing" which is a vibration sound from their neck! Truly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it,we also ate here and supported them by purchasing from their unique little shop. Give this place a visit, you will really enjoy it.
Caroline C — Google review
We really enjoyed our stay. The guide was very nice and took his time to answer all of our questions. This is a family owned business and you can feel that they love what they do and their animals. You can take all the time you need and also the idea of the qr codes for the knowledge videos was very nice!
Simone Z — Google review
Wow, just left Artestruz and I’m still buzzing from the experience! Feeding those massive ostriches was equal parts thrilling and hilarious – they’re so curious, practically stealing the grain from your hands (gloves provided, don’t worry!). The Loffler family runs this place with such heart, sharing stories that make you fall in love with these quirky birds. Did you know a single ostrich egg can feed a whole family, weighing as much as 20 chicken eggs? Tickets are just €17.50, and trust me, it’s worth every cent. Book ahead to avoid missing out, and bring a camera – you’ll want to capture those cheeky ostrich stares. If you’re driving, the free parking is a lifesaver, and don’t skip the gift shop for some unique eggshell crafts
Sam M — Google review
Really amazing place, interactive and well organized, fun to see the birds running around, feed them and learning about them. Lovely family that runs the place, built the farm from scratch with hard work and dedication, you can see the passion they have for ostriches which they want to share with everyone visiting. Place is geared towards kids, there is also a small kids playground. The home made smoothy is the best!
Irina B — Google review
We had a wonderful time. Very welcoming family run business. You notice their passion for the ostriches with every word. We asked tons of questions and they really took their time to explain everything. You can also watch videos with a lot of interesting information! We really learned a lot! You get really close to these beautiful animals and even have the chance to feed them. On site is a beautiful little boutique with some very cool stuff and we had some beers and hummus on their terrace, overseeing the ostriches at the end of our visit. This was certainly not the last time we visited. I can really recommend this to any animal lover. ❤️ For me the most important thing is always that the animals are kept well and here I really had the feeling that all of them feel happy and healthy. We truly loved it.
Daniela W — Google review
Canadian travellers who had an awesome experience here at this ostrich farm! VERY well setup area + experience, amazing animals and got to experience holding an ostrich egg. HIGHLY recommended by anyone of all ages to attend this farm. The two brother who run the farm are top notch 😎
Scott D — Google review
During our holiday in Mallorca, my family and I had the joy of visiting Artestruz – and what an unforgettable experience it was! ✨ From the very beginning, everything felt filled with warmth, care, and genuine passion. We learned so much about ostriches in a way that was both fun and fascinating, and feeding them quickly became a memory we’ll always cherish as a family. On a spontaneous note, we decided to stay for a meal – and we are so grateful we did. The food was not only delicious but clearly prepared and served with love. Every detail, from the setting to the hospitality, radiated heart and dedication. A heartfelt thank you to Ohad and Jonathan for creating such a special moment for us. Even now, we still find ourselves talking fondly about our visit and about you. Wishing you all the best, with gratitude and warm regards. ❤️

Cala Tuent

Bay
Outdoor Activities
Beaches
Cala Tuent is a secluded and peaceful cove situated on the rugged northwest coast of Mallorca. It boasts of a tranquil beach and verdant mountain range, overlooked by the highest point in Mallorca, Puig Major. This stony bay is surrounded by lush vegetation, making it an idyllic spot for those who seek solitude away from the bustling resorts found elsewhere in Mallorca.
We drove 1:30m trove the mountain to find paradise. This beach is beautiful and not too crowded. Don't forget to bring food and drinks as they are no facilities. Also, be early to find park wick is on the street, it's 5 euros to park all day. Highly recommended
Joao F — Google review
Quiet stoney beach. Warm clear water. Limited facilities at the beach. Pay and display parking 2hr €3.50, all day €7. Popular with walkers as walking trails nearby. Quite a drive there on narrow twisty roads that are popular with cyclists.
Barry H — Google review
We traveled to this beach by car. There is no other possibility as far as I know. The narrow street winds through the mountains and it took probably more then an hour from Valldemossa. However, you can enjoy a great view on the way along the coastline. The beach itself was not as beautiful as we expected due to gravel and rocks. If you have no problem with that it should be fine. Also there are only slippery rocks in the water and walking on it is difficult. Therefore it is a good idea to bring surf or diving shoes. The scenery on the other hand is amazing. Especially if you float in the water and look back to the beach where in the background the mountain chain goes right next to the coast. Compared to other beaches I have been to I only rate it 3 stars.
Martin H — Google review
Absolutely Beautiful 🤩 We went on an hour hike among the pine trees and along the coast to visit several calas. Very worth it!

Sa Calobra, also known as Torrent de Pareis, is a stunning beach nestled in a canyon accessible through tunnels carved into the cliffs. The crystal-clear waters and towering cliffs create a surreal natural setting that feels like something out of an old western movie. While the restaurants are not top-notch, visitors can bring their own picnic and enjoy plenty of drink options to take down to the beach.
Definitely a must visit!! Sa Calobra is a unique pebble beach with beautiful caves where you can go for a hike and relax at the beach. Parking Lot: The parking lot is also quite well organised. Go during the first/second week of June. Fairly empty, many parking spots available and a 5 mins walk to the beach. We stayed there for ~4.5 hrs and paid €13 for the parking. I did read in the reviews about thieves but we didn’t find it unsafe at all. Drive to Sa Calobra: Beautiful drive through the mountains, scenic views, many stops available in between for refreshments and refuelling. We didn’t get any traffic as we went in the early days of June and we reached there around 12:30pm.
Shriya B — Google review
The beach/port/canyon itself is absolutely amazing. It’s a surreal place the canyon feels like something out of an old western movie. The water in the Port is cristal clear. Restaurants are low quality so it’s better to bring a picnic but there’s plenty of options for drinks to takedown to the beach. If you do that then you can also use their toilets, otherwise the public one will cost you €1. I read the reviews about the parking only accepting cash and panicked as we only had our phones but there’s two cars machines you can pay by so maybe they’re new.
Aoife M — Google review
Nice little town, fair prices, make sure to get there before 11 or 12 as it will get crowded after.
Nele K — Google review
Only this parking available and unfortunately the most expensive one in Mallorca. I arrived at 11 a.m. and there were plenty of spaces. The worst part, unfortunately, was the service. A very rude young guy who doesn't inform you that there are problems with the signal and it's better to pay in cash
Jan K — Google review
Many of the reviews here are for Sa Calobra and/or the Torrent, rather than the car park. My review is of the car park. It's a car park and one of the few that we've encountered that aren't free or where you can't use the EasyPark app. We arrived early, but after 0930, and got in easy and parked relatively near the front. We had no issue with the security and did not see any problems. We left just after 1pm and there was a queue to exit. We found out that the card machine is very unreliable because of the phone signal. We were lucky that in the third attempt it worked and it cost us €7.90. My advice is to have some cash with you, but bear in mind that there's nowhere to get cash once you're there. The man in the ticket booth was critical that I had only one means of payment with me, which seems harsh when I've not had any card payment issues anywhere else on the island this year or last.
Andrew M — Google review
Would give zero stars if possible. Expensive parking with very unfriendly staff - it's indicated absolutely nowhere this parking prefers cash payment. Upon leaving, staff immediately and in a rude way told us paying by card is not possible. The guy gave a whole unnecesssary speech about how things differ here from "our country". They did suddenly have a card machine though, and after trying 3 times it worked just fine. If you're going to be so irritated about people wanting to pay ridiculous € amounts for your parking by card, at least make sure people clearly know payment options upon entering. The beach is beautiful so worth going though, only a terrible shame there's nowhere else to park your car.. left a bitter taste to an otherwise beautiful environment.
Paulien K — Google review
We arrived about 0920 and the barrier was open so we were able to get a place. The ticket machine is fiddly - it would only allow you to adjust the time by the minute, which meant there was a long queue for tickets. Thankfully, before we purchased a ticket the parking attendant arrived and told us that everyone's vehicle number plates were registered on entry, so we could pay when we left. The spaces are narrow, so bear in mind if you are in a rental car, and take care not to damage other cars when opening doors. The town and car park were very busy when we left at about 1300. Cars were queueing to enter - better to come here early. On leaving we were told that the connection for the card machine was unreliable. It worked after two tries, but in hindsight it's advisable to take cash.
Garry — Google review
Very bad experience, the pay stations don t work , you have to pay at the exit , the card station doesn’t work because has no Ethernet , and moreover the worker there is blaming the tourist cuz the tourist doesn’t have cash to pay, he said everyone has to have cash with them, which is not true, if someone is not willing to carry cash with them, you can t tell them what to do , his attitude was really bad, not a nice approach, the parking is pretty far from the beach , you have to walk like 30 minutes, so take in consideration one hour lost on walking down. And don t forget take cash with you otherwise the worker will blame you if his card machine dosen t work

This place is a little gem run by passionate people who are experts in the field but maybe lack some commercial skills. The guys organize sessions about different topics related to space followed by observing a projection of the sky, which is more interactive. It could be nice to have more audio-visual help for the first part, maybe a video or presentation. The tour ends by observing the sky via telescope, if the wheatear allows.
M M — Google review
Spectacular. It was slightly expensive (Spanish speakers pay slightly less but for English it is 15€/person) but the staff are all dedicated volunteers and the money goes towards keeping the facility open. What they occasionally lack in English language abilities they easily overcome with raw passion and knowledge - feel free to ask away and they will answer your questions. Expect to enjoy a small lecture (interesting, I promise!), to use the telescope and to go inside for a 3D cinema experience. Something very different and a great thing to try if you have visitors or just want to try something new. Others had said it was hard to find but Google maps got us there easily
Rob W — Google review
Very cool place. It is run by passionate volontiers who are very implicated in the whole thing. They make the experience even more interesting than it already is. Seeing the moon with the telescope is pretty incredible. My photo doesn't even come close to showing how cool it was. It was even ok for me to come with my puppy and the guides where very comprehensive.
Hector P — Google review
Absolutely impressing - these guys explain the sky with lots of knowledge and passion. We had three hours of watching the planets in the observatorium and with lots information; a practical demonstration by installing and explaining a telescope and comparing the views of the planets by different telescopes - but not only this, we got beautiful high quality handouts about the night sky, learned a lot about comets and asteroides, took photos and now have good advises for apps and links to go on with this fascinating favourite. Their explanations made the astronomical things lively and exciting to us and personally we think, their work should be lots better honorated and supported by government - as this observatori, with these guys, can give an important contribution on investigation. There might be 'bigger' planetariums whereelse, but you won't get the events on nightly sky personally and such detailly explained - this makes this place really unique! Thank you very much for this beautiful and very impressing experience.

We enjoyed our visit very much. Be aware the times listed on their website are winter hours. We arrived at 7pm in August to be told it didn't open till 8pm, other than it's well worth a visit. They give you a lecture outside then take you inside into the planetarium which I found very intresting. By this time its dusk, your then taken outside again to a telescope, we viewed the moons craters, wow..... I recommend this for all age groups and found it to be good value for money.

Opens at 7pm Friday and Saturday at the moment. A great informative evening. A friendly fun and educational talk which was fine for 4 and 5 year olds. Then a look at the stars and through a telescope. Then we finished with a surround digital film displayed on the domed roof about the space age. A fabulous evening. Everything can be in Spanish or English request upon entry. Well worth a visit.

This magical experience made our holiday! The planetarium show was informative and interesting. Afterwards, we were able to view Saturn and Jupiter through the telescopes - such a special opportunity. Our guide was so enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable providing us with answers to all our questions. The night sky was very clear, enabling us to see many planets, star constellations and part of the Milky Way.

Simply the best boutique hotel experience! My husband and I absolutely loved it here. The design, the service, the location, vibes all of it were amazing. The owner found my husband and I lost in our car down the street, ran to us and grabbed my bags and carried them for me— so so kind! This is a slice of heaven and the most perfect location in Santanyi. Our favorite area in Mallorca!!

Really loved it here. Such a serene and thoughtful boutique hotel. The staff were super helpful and always responded quickly. The hotel, itself, was gorgeous and the rooms - and beds - are great sizes. The pool, decor, and the daily breakfast were all a cherry on top. It’s right in the middle of Santanyi so we walked everywhere and only 4 minutes from free public parking. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Fantastic hotel! We have stayed all over Mallorca, and this was a great way to experience this side of the island. Perfect location to access all of the shops and restaurants. The Wednesday/Saturday market is a must see. The staff is so attentive, breakfast is amazing, and the pool area feels private with the limited rooms in this boutique. Parking is a short walk away with an easy access alley to load and unload into this city hotel. Highly Recommend!

If you are looking for a unique, breathtaking and authentic place to stay in Mallorca this is your hotel. I can’t being to explain how amazing the service was, everyone was so kind, helpful and just lovely. The location of the hotel is truly unique as the hotel is located in the heart of santanyi a beautiful typical town of Mallorca (ps the market is every Saturday and Wednesday I recommend visiting it). The rooms have a big wow effect as they are spacious, are decorated with an amazing taste and have a luxury feeling. And the breakfast is delicious. Truly everything about this hotel is a 10/10 if you are visiting Mallorca soon please don’t miss out on this hotel.

We arrived to an empty and locked up hotel, and after ringing the phone number on the door were informed that we were the only guests, and that someone would be there soon to let us in. A bit of a strange start, but boy was it worth waiting for! The hotel itself is stunningly designed - understated and sumptuous at the same time, with artwork from local artists in every corner. The building has been beautifully renovated, with a perfect combination of ancient and new, and has detail everywhere you look, without ever feeling cluttered. Our room, Olivera, was reached through the wonderful courtyard, past the plunge pool and above the breakfast room. It was large, clean, beautifully furnished and very, very comfortable with a grand bed and excellent mattress. We also had our own large balcony overlooking the courtyard (on which we star gazed that night). After a meal out in Santanyi square, which is only metres from the front door of the hotel, we settled down to a very relaxing sleep, after which came the most remarkable breakfast I have ever had. Even though we were the only guests, we were treated to a table full of the most beautifully presented fresh local produce, in a stunning breakfast room - the old stables apparently - with more artwork and luxury furnishings. I'd go back to the hotel purely for that breakfast experience, but add to it the quality of the room and the communal areas of the hotel, plus its fantastic position right in the centre of Santanyi - one of our favourite Mallorcian towns - and it will be on our itinerary for a long time to come. I simply can not recommend this place enough.

The Museu Etnològic dels Calderers is a rural manor from the 1700s that showcases period interiors and farming tools. Visitors can also enjoy tastings of pork products and wine. The building's decor and furniture are authentic, providing insight into how people lived in the past. Outside, visitors can explore the grounds and see various types of farm animals. The castle is rich in detail, with friendly staff dedicated to making visitors' stay enjoyable.
Well, I had no expectations while visiting this museum, even empty parking lot wasn't promising that this place will be anything extraordinary, BUT! For reasonable price, you can visit full house from 18.-19. century will all the furniture and accessories as it use to be at these times (incl. f.e. saloons, bedrooms, kitchen, room for storage of food, blacksmith workshop, room for laundry, ...) In total, there are more than 20 of such rooms incl. workshops, farm and garden outside. Worth visiting experience!

Interesting but only as a one of many points during trip somewhere else. Nothing really catches the eye. Still you may look into the past of the island. Some animals around;)

A beautiful place from the "must see" category. The biggest surprise of our trip to Mallorca. We discovered this place in a guidebook where they praised this place. However, we did not expect how excited we would be. It is a charming place where time has stood still. Everything breathes a wonderful atmosphere that will stay in our hearts for a long time.

Easy to find. Tickets easy to purchase in the bar/cafe area, the lady serving spoke clearly in English. The museum showed lots of Mallorcan life. At times the numbers for the exhibition areas were lacking. This did not really affect the visit. The barn was fascinating. The animals appeared well looked after, however the lacked stimulation and we didn't see much food or water available. Great Bird life near the fields. Lots of outdoor seating available

Great for a rainy day.. interesting insights into the life of a Mallorcan aristocratic family.. their house and farm. All the animals looked well cared for.

A great insight into real mallorcan life with very well furnished rooms including interesting estate buildings like a forge, flour mill, bakery and butcher

My visit to the Ethnographic Museum in Palma de Mallorca was an unexpected delight. We chose to explore this cultural gem on a gloomy day when the weather didn't cooperate, and it turned out to be the perfect solution. Upon entering the museum, we were immediately transported into the captivating world of Spanish aristocracy. The exhibits vividly portrayed how they lived and what they held dear. It was like stepping back in time, and we found ourselves immersed in the rich history and culture of the region. The museum's extensive collection is spread across two floors, with numerous rooms to explore. This layout allowed us to gain a comprehensive understanding of local life throughout the ages. Each room told a unique story, making the visit both educational and fascinating. The museum's surroundings were a separate spectacle. The estate's picturesque landscape was breathtaking, offering a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. An old winery on the property added to the charm, and we couldn't resist the offer of a wine tasting. To make the most of our visit, we purchased tickets online for 8€, a small saving compared to the on-site price of 10€. Plus, the convenience of free large parking made getting there hassle-free. I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to the Ethnographic Museum. It's a unique experience that not only offers valuable insights into the past but also provides a backdrop for capturing stunning photos. Don't miss this opportunity to dive into the history and beauty of Mallorca.

An amazing sea, an amazing serenity — far from the city, far from the noise of cars, surrounded by birds and accompanied only by the sound of the waves. The open water is crystal blue; you can go as deep as you want, and the clarity of the water is astonishing — you can easily see the bottom at any depth. I highly recommend visiting.” 🌊✨

Mondragó is pure magic! Strolling through its trails, I was hit by the scent of pine and the sight of turquoise waves crashing against cliffs it’s like nature’s own masterpiece. The beaches, S’Amarador and Cala Mondragó, are absolute gems for a dip or just soaking in the views. Best part? Entry is free, so you can wander this paradise without spending a cent! For a quieter visit, aim for early morning to dodge the crowds and catch the sunrise over the dunes. Oh, and did you know this park is home to over 70 species of orchids? Pack comfy shoes and a camera you’ll want to capture every moment of this Balearic beauty

Natural de Mondragó is one of the most beautiful natural spots in Mallorca. The park has two smaller but stunning beaches with crystal-clear water, and the whole area feels calm and peaceful—even when it’s busy. A big plus: no sunbeds, so the beaches keep their natural charm. Parking can be tricky. There’s a large paid lot, or you might find free street parking nearby—but come early, as spaces fill up fast. The biggest downside is the public toilet—it technically exists, but it’s in terrible condition, so don’t count on it. Still, for the scenery and the experience, Mondragó is absolutely worth visiting. 🏝

We had a wonderful time at this beach—it’s very calm, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s not overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this beach to anyone visiting Mallorca. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or solo, you’ll love the calm atmosphere and the stunning views. Also, a big bonus: the food options nearby are fantastic! There are plenty of great restaurants around, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious.

Beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters stretching far into the sea – perfect for families with children. However, it is somewhat poorly maintained, lacks lifeguard supervision, and offers no natural shade, so an umbrella or beach tent is essential. It also tends to be quite crowded. In addition, there are many illegal beach vendors, though they are generally not very pushy. We visited with two children (3 and 8), who still had a wonderful time swimming and building sandcastles.

This is one of the best beaches on the island. We’ve visited here twice. Once in 2020 and again this week. The beach sand is almost white, the sea is clear as day, deep blue a few feet beyond that. A lovely boardwalk that goes out a fair way. Lots of green trees scattered amongst the sand, restaurants are in good supply too. Has to be on the list of places to visit when you come to muro.

Platja del Port de Pollença is a picturesque beach located in the charming town of Port de Pollença. It features a long stretch of golden sand and clear blue waters, offering stunning views of the port and surrounding mountains. The southern area is lined with holiday apartments, restaurants, and shops, while the northern part boasts a more traditional setting with Mallorcan chalets and pine trees along the Pine Walk promenade.
Stayed with family in August/Sep 24. This is a very nice hotel that seems to be very popular. Lots guests that I spoke to, have been visiting for many years and some book and stay more than once per year! I can see why as everything is well laid out, clean and with a good level of service. For a four star, I dont think you can do better than this. This hotel is perfect for a short break as unlike resorts, it is easy to understand how everything works and it is all within a few steps. If you like going to Majorca and would like a good hotel, this is probably the one for you. Staff were all very helpful and the other guests were also some of the most polite that I have come across in a hotel. I think it is just the vibe of the place!

The beach is stunning! It’s very long, which makes it feel spacious and never too crowded. There are plenty of sunbeds available, and the prices are really reasonable (about €14 for a half-day or €21 for a full day, including two beds and a parasol). I also loved how practical it is — there are public showers and restrooms, plus lots of shops and restaurants all along the beach. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the day!
Victoria B — Google review
Oh...this is great. It is a beautiful place. Scenery is lovely. Great restaurants. Just a lovely place
Viorel Z — Google review
Major busy beach (early September). Nice boutiques and shops in the area of the small sandy. Now, I am spoiled because I live near a quiet sandy bay on the west coast of Scotland far from the madding crowd. But here, there are crowds, so I am not at my best. There is plenty of parking on the side streets and you should be able to find a patch of sand. Not a chance of a parasol - everyone must hit the beach early with towels. The water is very warm and swimmable but there are rocks in places so you need to tread carefully at dark patches. If you just want to lie on a towel in the sun with occasional dips and visits to the plentiful restaurants and bars along the promenade, then this place is for you. Not my bag, but as I say, I’m biased.

Hidropark Alcúdia is the only water park in the north of Majorca and a popular attraction for families. Conveniently accessible from Alcudia old town and the city center, as well as from the beach area and Port de Pollenca, it offers over 40,000m2 of water fun with slides, wave pools, spirals, and other exciting attractions suitable for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy a more relaxed experience at Alcanada Golf nearby.
Great park, the family really enjoyed it. Had to pay for your sun loungers but no seats anywhere so had no choice but to pay, was the only negative to the place. Absolutely worth a visit.
John C — Google review
Not bad, some good slides. Kids had done them all in space of 5 minutes which was good not having to queue. However be aware, you have to pay for a sun lounger, they're not included in entry price and you also get hounded by the photographers which really ruin the mood. Worth a visit though.
DEAN B — Google review
Had a great day at the waterpark. Took a 5-year-old and he loved the series of slides for children UNDER 120cm. They go down themselves on rubber rings or mats. We rented 3 sunbeds at additional cost so we had a base / some shade to cool off in. Queues weren't long at all, waited a few minutes tops for slides. Deducted a star as there was a power cut later in the afternoon which meant all the slides stopped, and the card machines weren't working. Would recommend water shoes if you have them, the ground is toasty.
Rowena M — Google review
Situated just next to Club Mac, this water park is super convenient if you're staying nearby. It has plenty of slides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone can have fun. We visited in October, and although the water was quite fresh (no heating!), it was still really nice to be able to enjoy the slides and pools at that time of year. The weather was pleasant enough to spend the whole afternoon there. There’s also a restaurant and snack area on site, which makes it easy to grab lunch or a drink between slides. The toilets and general areas were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to spend a relaxing family day, especially if you want to mix some fun water activities with a bit of sunbathing. You can easily walk over from Club Mac, and after a few hours, just head back for dinner, super convenient! Tip: bring your own towels, flip-flops, and maybe a bit of patience if it’s busy, but overall it’s a fun, safe, and family-friendly water park worth visiting.

Do not recommend for fall holidays. (October) At a steep price of 84 euros for 1 adult and two children they still charge extra for a chair and even for a locker. It is ridiculously overpriced. You´d expect the water to be heated at this price but no such technology is present. Outside temp 23 degrees C yet the water is freezing cold. Not suitable for small children. Stay away! Spend your cash somewhere else.

One of the best beaches I have been to in Europe. Not so crowded on the weekday but can definitely get on weekends. This stretch of beach doesn’t include any sport activities. Morning walks here were just a treat to the soul.

Beautiful sandy beach. It is suitable for children. The sea is shallow and not deep. The water in the sea is warm, more than 28 Celsius. There are bars, toilets on the beach. It is possible to rent bed and umbrella for an extra fee.

Beautiful white sandy beach. Near the marina, the water is very shallow, perfect for small children. Lots of free toilet blocks along the main stretch - all clean and there are outside showers for hosing off sandy feet. Parasols and loungers available - council run so prices the same along the whole beach. Various pedalos and SUP's to hire but area of use quite small. Sightseeing boats trips pick up at the 3 piers along the beach as well as the marina. Independent each bars at the marina end of the beach, as most of the bay is hotel fronted but more basic cafe's forming part of the toilet blocks. Due to the size, the beach didnt feel too busy.

Cala Varques is a stunning sandy beach nestled in the municipality of Manacor, offering clear waters that are perfect for snorkeling and diving. This secluded paradise is surrounded by pine trees, rock formations, and pristine white sand. Accessible by boat or a scenic forest walk, it's far from any urban development. For those seeking unspoiled coves, Cala Mitjana within Llevant Peninsula Natural Park offers a wild and rugged experience.
The parking lot is located far from the beach, on the road. It's free and there's plenty of parking space, even on the road itself. The path to the beach is quite long and is better suited for sneakers rather than flip-flops. You can manage with flip-flops, but it's quite difficult. It's about a 1.5-2 km walk, and while the first half is nice, the second half is quite challenging. All the effort to get there is worth it, as the beach is uniquely beautiful, the water is very warm and a beautiful light blue color. There are many beautiful places to visit around the beach, but you need good shoes because there are rocks, cliffs, and it's quite stony. It's one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches with unique warm water, no wind, and stunning views. Despite being wild and difficult to access, there were lifeguards in the water with a boat. There's a makeshift bar and umbrellas for rent. I recommend visiting.
Darko A — Google review
This beautiful beach is completely worth the very long walk there. The sea is gorgeous and the beach is great. There are also spots to take a long hike along the coast.
Ella B — Google review
Review from a Canadian hiker: parking is about 2km from beach. First part is along the road in full sun exposure. Recommend a hat. Second part is in the trees, look for tortoises! We saw two. Hiking is easy, sneakers would be good. Could manage in birks. Brings lots of water (at least 2L per person) Beach is gorgeous. There’s a bar at the beach (a tent). Not sure if they take card. Belongings felt safe at the beach. Lots of people just playing in the waves. Would visit again! I would favour bringing a backpack over carrying anything. Having your hands free to get over the walls would be helpful. Carrying a cooler would be annoying but you’d survive. Parking is at (39.5111037, 3.2721756) 2.5km walk total from parking.

Beautifu!l and well worth it! The walk to the beach is very long and hot. You are best to go early in the morning. There are plenty of quiet spots if you go left or right from the main beach. But the 'arch' is to the left. Along the hike there are A few little coves and cliff jumping spots if you're brave. Avoid going on a Sunday as it's a locals day. and they definitely don't like the tourists being at this beach. Don't expect to be welcome. As long as you don't mind this you'll be fine

Beautiful, sandy beach although the way to it it is long and hot and I am not sure it is worth. First you have to find a parking spot, 600 m from a gate (which, by the way it is not closed with the lock, just put there) the wall straight ahead about 2km, climb a half ruined stone wall and take tge slippery path through the pine forest. You must have an umbrella for some shade. When we were there, the wind was blowing very hard so the waves were huge. Had much more expectation from this but unfortunatly took us 3 hours to get there and back so not fun
Alice V — Google review
our favourite beach so far. yes the way to get there is quite lengthy, but the ‘3 walls‘ are a welcome challenge for us and our kids. you have to earn it in a way :) we havent found the beach crowded, depends on how you define crowded i guess. the bay was often times cluttered with boats though, not a nice view. with the wind coming from the sea you might smell boat exhaust often times. right around the left corner are many possibilities for jumping. we opted for snorkeling last time. the sea was beautiful. whats a bit of a pitty are the humans who use such nice places for toilets. i know its a common scheme but some people just seem to …. everywhere they go. ( that goes for the caves by the beach) deteriorating the experience for anyone who visits. take your garbage and even more garbage with you, its not that difficult. other than that, great area for exploring
Arian R — Google review
Don't go there, the beach is really far fron the parking (1 hour 30 min). The water is dirty, the cliffs are dangerous and the locals are not friendly. There is a lot of wasps and, if you are allergic to their stings, good look getting out of there.
Asg — Google review
There is no parking close so you have to walk a lot. Moreover, the way is not clearly marked and we got lost. Upon arriving, there was a huge amount of wasps chasing our food. On top of that, the locals were noisy and pushed our belongings out of the way to get more space.

Alcúdia Old Town

Alcudia Old Town, located on the other side of the island from Palma de Mallorca, is a beautifully preserved medieval town surrounded by stone walls originally built for protection against pirates. This old capital of Majorca offers a strong sense of history with Roman ruins, a Bullring, and charming cobblestone alleys lined with small eateries and boutiques. The 14th-century walls provide stunning views of the town.
We visited Alcudia Old Town on market day and really enjoyed it. There were plenty of stalls spread throughout the charming old streets, offering a wide variety of items – from clothes, bags, and souvenirs to handmade crafts. What stood out this time was the increase in local food options – lots of tasty treats, cheeses, cured meats, and fresh produce to try or take home. It had a great atmosphere without feeling too chaotic, and it’s a nice way to spend a few hours exploring. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Beautiful place and easy to get to on public transport. Plenty of places for food, and the quaint little shops are lovely to look around! The walk round the wall was also breath taking, and the view from the top is definitely worth it.

A must visit if you’re in the island of Mallorca, Spain. Walked along the iconic medieval wall for panoramic views, had the most delicious seafood lunch and drove for 10/15 minutes to see the stunning view at la Victoria beach.

The old town of Alcúdia is absolutely worth a visit! 📸🌴 Narrow streets, historic buildings, and a charming atmosphere make walking around a real highlight. Perfect for strolling, discovering little cafés, and soaking up the Mediterranean vibe 👍

A simply amazing place with lots of culture, great bus access and why not stop off at the port as well. Nice stroll and some cool shops just respect the area and the locals, places like this need protecting!

Lovely part of town with a gentle stroll through the streets. Good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants and some lovely shops too. Parking can be tricky sometimes but worth a visit.

Beautiful old town with lots of history. Lots of boutique style shops as well.as the usual tourist shops. Some lovely restaurants too. We also went to.the near by Roman ruins. All.well.worth a day out with something for everyone!

Stunning little place. Market day is heaving, takes over an hour to get a taxi or on a bus so plan well!! Not much outside of the old town that we found, but hot & had kids with us so didn't venture too far - couple of lovely local clothes shops about 5 mins walk away.

Hams' Caves

Hams' Caves, also known as Coves dels Hams, are subterranean grottos featuring a botanical garden and a captivating underground lake. The name "Coves dels Hams" refers to the hook-like formations found inside. Visitors can explore a large botanical garden and witness a mesmerizing projection on ancient rock formations within the cave.
Wow, Hams Caves left me speechless! Wandering through those ancient chambers felt like stepping into another world, with dazzling stalactites shaped like fishhooks (hence the name did you know they’re unique to this cave in Europe?). The LED-lit Blue Cave and the hauntingly beautiful Sea of Venice concert were pure magic. Tickets are €17 for adults, €11 for kids 3-12, and free for little ones under 2 worth every cent! Come early to beat the crowds, wear comfy shoes for the uneven steps, and don’t skip the nearby Dino Park if you’re with kids. Trust me, this place is a hidden gem you’ll be raving about

Amazing place to visit. We visited the same day together with Dinosaurland, everything was really good. The caves visit is kind of guided visit, there are two big caves, it the first one you watch two videos, which both were really interesting, even for the kids 😉, in the second cave at the end when you get to the lake, you listen to the classical music with projection. It was all stunning.
Jana K — Google review
The Caves of Hams are absolutely stunning and well worth a visit while in Mallorca. We were amazed by the rock formations and stalagmites which created a magical atmosphere. The guided tour was very informative, and it was fascinating to learn about the history and natural formation of the caves. One of the highlights was the underground lake with the light and music show. It was an experience unlike anything I’ve seen before. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-organized, and the staff were friendly. If you do not know Spanish you don't need to worry as the tour is narrated in multiple languages including English. Beware that the caves can be quite narrow in some cases which is something to keep in mind if you're claustrophobic. For the best experience, I suggested booking a half a day or day tour to multiple locations. Those guides are not expensive at all and you can be transported directly to the caves (great for those who can't drive such as myself). Overall, the caves are a a great activity for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys nature and geology. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mallorca!
Dhespina B — Google review
Caves were amazing and the program is well though out. My only complaint is that the young children are allowed in tours that become scared and end up screaming and yelling thus ruining the experience for everyone else. Maybe it would be best to offer adults only time slots so everyone can enjoy the caves equally.
Boris B — Google review
Nice with a bit of history about the caves. Impressive that they are 10 million years old. I enjoyed that the groups were not too big. Very interesting tour.
Randi G — Google review
Great excursion takes around an hour to get round, my three year old loved it ,there's a fews stairs so wouldn't recommend for children younger than 3 ( no pram access)
Lisa W — Google review
We had this packaged in with a visit to Dinoland. Whilst the caves are great, there is a show in almost pitch black which several children found a little scary. Lots of very steep stairs (as you might expect) meant many parents had to carry children which looked tiring. I would still recommend as the back story was great but if your kids are under 3 I would miss and just go to dino land
Ross S — Google review
We got there at a good time, bought Tickets and could more or less directly Go in. It was not as overrun with people as the cuevas del drach. It's a little more catered to Kids with little movies playing and colourful Lights in The caves. The movies are in english and being translated by a handheld device. Still a beautiful sight.

Drach Caves

Discover the mesmerizing Drach Caves, one of the world's largest underground lakes located in Mallorca. These caves extend for 1,200 meters and are adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over millions of years. The 'Venetian Lake' within the caves captivates visitors with its enchanting blue waters. Additionally, classical music concerts are occasionally held here due to the exceptional acoustics.
This was a fantastic experience and I would certainly recommend booking tickets in advance. Having not researched this greatly, I underestimated the popularity and volume of people that visited each day. Entrance to the caves is strictly managed by time slots to enable a certain number of people to walk through and enjoy the experience at a comfortable pace without too much of a crowd. In addition there is a music show with seating specifically for the visitors assigned to that time slot. We arrived at 12:00 and the next available slot was 14:00, hence we walked to the town, grabbed lunch and then returned. Those with more sensitive time constraints should book in advance. The facilities are good.... clean toilets, gift shop, restaurant with ample seating, ice cream, a hot dog stand and plenty of parking for cars, coaches and camper vans. Public transport is easy too. There is a bus stop about 100m away with a short walk up hill and over rough terrain. If you don't fancy lunch and refreshments at the caves then there is a marina towards the town centre about 10 mins walk away. Its a big hill down and back up. Overall, a great experience with breath taking views and magnificent natural stone formations, beautifully lit and well looked after. Reasonably priced and highly recommended!

I had a wonderful experience visiting the Caves. The guided tour was very well organized and it was amazing to walk through the stunning rock formations and underground passages. The highlight for me was definitely the classical concert on the underground lake – it was absolutely breathtaking and created such a magical atmosphere. There were quite a lot of people, which made some parts of the visit feel a bit crowded, but it was still worth it for such a unique experience. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Majorca, as it’s both fascinating and unforgettable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic trip! There were no online tickets left, so we went there in person and easily bought tickets for 3 p.m. We arrived around noon, which gave us time to visit the pearl factory and explore the lovely town of Porto Cristo – a great place to grab some lunch before heading to the caves. The caves themselves are absolutely stunning – amazing rock formations, beautiful lighting, and a magical atmosphere. At the end, there was a live classical music concert performed from a boat on the underground lake. Visitors can either take a short boat ride or walk out on foot. The site is partly accessible for people with disabilities, though there are quite a few stairs. There’s also a large free car park right next to the entrance. A truly wonderful experience – definitely worth a visit!

The Drach Caves are an unforgettable experience. The tour is quite long and absolutely worth it: the caves are stunning, well maintained, and beautifully lit to highlight every rock formation. It’s a bit chilly inside, so bring a sweatshirt to stay comfortable throughout the visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions. The final part is pure magic: the musical concert in the dark, with illuminated boats gliding on the water and a four-piece orchestra playing instrumental music, is simply breathtaking. It’s worth every euro spent just for that moment alone. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that gives you goosebumps and stays with you forever.

Very good experience. Queue went quick when we entered. When we got inside the caves, the staff were very quick to move you and could only take pictures at certain points. After going through and got to the end, there is a musical concert. Pictures aren't allowed and staff make sure that you don't take any. To be honest, it's better, probably the whole point of enjoyment. After it was finished, two options of leaving, boat or walk. Most people picked the boat option and took about 20 minutes. Worth it I suppose.

Iconic and historical Caves These are fabulous caves to visit and quite impressive considering their sheer size. We enjoyed going down to visit with my family and friends and were stunned by their beauty. What set this experience apart I believe is that, this is actually on an island, which I had never encountered before. Granted it is a big island but still very stunning and the lake was great to see with that crystal clear water. Drach Caves were amazing to visit, highly recommended!
Paul V — Google review
Tha cave is just stunning, but too many people at the same time and all the time gides said: move, move, move, whitch a bit bothering and don't give you the chance to really enjoy. We spend just 1 hour inside, could have been more for this price. Vonderful classic music concert in the cave was a great surpruse. After all, great memories and impressions
Polina B — Google review
This place is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, I am very glad that we visited. However, it is far too busy and crowded. It is also quite loud inside which I hadn’t considered. There is a long wait to enter, you are rushed through the cave and rushed out again at the end of the concert. The concert is wonderful and really makes the experience. We decided not to wait for a boat ride as the queue was so very long and slow moving.

Skualo Porto Cristo is a renowned adventure sports center in Mallorca, offering guided diving trips along the rugged and rocky south-eastern coast. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced diver, there are options for everyone. The instructors are highly praised for their warmth, professionalism, and knowledge, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Additionally, they offer taster courses for those new to diving or looking to enhance their skills.
Just finished an adventure of a lifetime with Skualo - sea cave exploration. Mallorca has one of the most extensive cave formations on the coastline...these are caves in the sea with stalagmites and stalactite formations, millions of years old! It's one of the most fascinating sites to behold....deep inside the rock faces with the sea outside and crystal clear placid lakes inside. And these gigantic calcite formations....stunning stunning stunning! Humbling to witness something that is a million years old, dwarfing our insignificant existence of 70-80yrs on this planet ❤️❤️❤️ Our guide and instructor, Keno, was phenomenal! He kept us in splits, all the while ensuring that we were safe and happily oblivious to what might seem a little treacherous to some - because you are truly deep in the recesses of the rocks and the sea! Thank you Keno for an unforgettable experience - our offer to show you around in Delhi, whenever you are there next, still holds ! :) Also a special shout out to our stoic captain, Tony! We knew we were in good hands with him behind the wheel. And finally to the wonderfully candid, honest and funny lady behind the desk who convinced us to take this tour. Thank you team Skualo - you guys are phenomenal! This is an experience everyone must do in Mallorca, and there is no better place than Skualo to do it with!

Incredible Sea Cave Adventure with Skualo – A Family Favorite! Our family had the most unforgettable experience exploring the sea caves with Skualo in Porto Cristo! From start to finish, everything was well-organized, safe, and filled with fun. What truly made our adventure extra special was our guide, Marc. Marc was not only incredibly friendly and welcoming, but also extremely knowledgeable about the caves, the local marine life, and the island's natural history. He made sure everyone in our group—from adults to teens—felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire journey. His passion for what he does was clear, and his calm, upbeat attitude put us at ease right away. The cave exploration itself was breathtaking—swimming through crystal-clear waters, discovering hidden chambers, and hearing stories about the geology and history of the area. It was both adventurous and family-appropriate, with just the right balance of excitement and safety. If you're looking for a memorable way to explore Mallorca’s natural beauty, we highly recommend Skualo in Porto Cristo—and be sure to ask for Marc. He made our experience one we'll never forget!

An unforgettable family diving experience – beyond our wildest dreams! We booked this diving experience as a surprise for my husband's birthday while on vacation, and it turned out to be one of the most magical memories we've ever made as a family. Our 9-year-old son, who is an excellent swimmer (honestly, better than I am!), was initially too young to join the dive. He was heartbroken – he wanted to come along so badly. But here's where the magic happened: thanks to the incredibly kind, professional, and understanding team, they made a few thoughtful adjustments that allowed our son to safely join us. The instructors were so patient, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure he felt safe and included every step of the way. Seeing the pure joy and excitement on his face underwater was something we’ll never forget. As parents, there’s nothing more heartwarming than watching your child live out a dream – and this was exactly that. The dive itself was stunning – crystal clear water, vibrant marine life, and a sense of peace and wonder that stayed with us long after we resurfaced. This wasn’t just a dive – it was a gift. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that brought us closer together and left us happier than words can describe. Thank you for making this so incredibly special. We’ll carry this memory in our hearts forever

Skualo supported me during the production of my first underwater film “Meet Me on the Other Side”, filmed in the beautiful bays of Porto Cristo. Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Safari Zoo, located near Cala Millor and Sa Coma, offers an exciting family adventure with its drive-thru safari tour featuring over 600 animals such as giraffes, elephants, flamingos, monkeys, and rhinos. Visitors can explore the scenic landscape from their own car or on the park's train. The zoo also includes a reptile house and a petting zoo for educational shows and demonstrations.
We visited in July 2025 as a family of four. The safari ride on the train was enjoyable, and took around 20 minutes. You slowly pass along a windy track through scrubland interspersed with hillocks and trees. There are around ten different types of animal on the safari. Our daughter was sad the monkeys didnt jump on our train, but we saw one playing with the aerial on the car in front of us. I bet the car owner was also sad lol. At the end of the safari ride is a zoo, which is also excellent - we thought it was even better than the safari. There are loads of different animals and reptiles to look at. Other reviews mention the larger animals being on their own. We overheard a guide saying that the elephant grew up on a circus and would struggle to mix with other elephants now. I dont know if the giraffe has a similar story. All the enclosures seem to have plenty of tactile stuff in them, different gradients, surfaces, textures, water etc... looks a great place to be an animal to me. The VR ride is also amazing. Its set underwater, but isnt scary. There's a kiddies play area, a shop and a cafe too. There's a free bus to it, or you can also walk to it in about 25 minutes from Sa Coma. Its well worth a visit and the price feels about right too.
Tom W — Google review
The zoo has seriously improved with the new owners. I went here when I was little and it was NOTHING compared to how it is now, you can tell the new staff are willing to give these animals a good life, and are undergoing a lot of construction to make their habitats even better than they are now, the staff were very lovely (especially Alberto) and there were so many different types of animals. It's a great place to spend a few hours with family :) I highly recommend you go at least once, I mean now its pretty good, but they aren't even CLOSE to finishing, as they only recently got new owners. Give it a few years and it will be one of the best zoo's in Europe! Looking forward to it

Lovely staff, we really enjoyed the safari experience. I would really recommend to bring loads of drinks as it is warm especially during the safari ride. At the parking lot you will be able to buy drink and food as well. THE SAFARI BUS RUNS ONLY FROM MONDAY UNTIL FRIDAY from calla millor, keep that in mind. Public transport drops you off at bus stop which is like 25 min walk from the entrance. I would definitely go again, it was worth it.
Katie_ N — Google review
Really fantastic day out. The new owners have invested a lot in the park and it really shows. The driving safari followed by a walk around the zoo is really highly recommended. It’s not expensive at all, and it’s lovely and quiet (visitors aren’t loud because of the animals) unlike all the other tourist attractions we’ve seen. A very fun day out.
Ryan V — Google review
We visited Safari Zoo Mallorca on foot from our hotel (Hipotels Mediterraneo Club), and it took us about 30 minutes to get there with kids, including a short stop at Carrefour along the way. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the safari experience! We took the little safari train through the open area where animals roam freely. At one point, monkeys even climbed up on the train – which made the whole ride even more exciting and fun for the children! We saw rhinos, zebras, antelopes, lions, an elephant, and a giraffe. It was a great mix of animals, and being able to see them up close made the experience feel more personal and memorable. Special thanks to the guide working there – he shared some really interesting facts about a few of the animals, and it made the visit feel more meaningful, not just like a quick ride through the park. If you’re staying in Sa Coma or nearby, it’s definitely worth a visit, especially with kids.
Marijana M — Google review
Went here to take the train trough the park. The train last about 30-40 minutes and after that you get dropped off at the rest of the park where you can find lots of other animals of all sorts. The staff was also very helpful and could tell a lot about the different animals.
Tamas H — Google review
I personally for myself and my family have had a wonderful time hete at the zoo. The train will collect you from the enterence and takes you through to see multiple animals, including the baboons that climb onto the train itself. Maps given to view all the animals and facilities available. All the diffetent animals were brilliant to see and appeared settled and well looked after. There was educators which taught us about the primates, elephant and the lions along with other animals. The staff were all approachable, helpful and kind. Spoke about previous reviews given a bad review but since then there has been new owners of which the new owners are more focused on welfare of the animals along with looking into the next few years trying to make the zoo less captive and provide more freedom then what they already have. We also were able to get the train back to the enterence along with travel on the free bus provided to take us back to Sa coma (very near to our hotel) As a family, we have had a wonderful day and will be a day to remember most definitely. Thank you to all of the staff and the owners.

the park seems to have improved significantly from a few years ago. The safari train was a fun start to the day, which takes you into the main park. Cap de Formentor is a picturesque peninsula located about 20 kilometers from Pollenca and Port de Pollenca. It offers panoramic views of the sea and the island, making it a magical place to witness beautiful sunsets. The road to the historic lighthouse at Cap de Formentor is considered one of the most unique rides in the world, with its twists, climbs, descents, and breathtaking scenery.
We went there in the morning for sunrise. Make sure to get there 30 minutes before the sun in supposed to be up and you’ll find a great parking place. Really nice views! Make sure to drive carefully because of the goats!
Nele K — Google review
Be sure to read the rules on accessibility to driving to the cape. Cars need special authorization after 10am, so set off early and watch sunrise. Plenty of cyclists and occasional goat on the road, so take your time.
David M — Google review
Only accessible by bus from 10am!!! Anything on the route is not accessible all day round unless walking crazing kms Best recommendations if wanting to go by car and enjoying all stops on the route, go in the morning from 8am to 10am! Then buses come along and you won’t be able to get out
Cam I — Google review
Cap de Formentor is one of the most breathtaking spots on the island, and seeing the sunrise here is unforgettable 🌄. I highly recommend coming very early—not only for the sunrise itself, but also because parking is limited and fills up quickly. Another reason to arrive in the morning is that after 10 a.m. the road up to the lighthouse closes to private cars, and the only option is to park below and take the shuttle bus. The road up is narrow and winding, so if you’re not confident with tight mountain driving, the bus might be the safer choice. Either way, this is an absolute must-see in Mallorca—totally worth the visit.

Took us 30 minutes of driving through stubborn cyclists who think they are brave enough for the road but ending blocking the whole traffic. Unfortunately you have to park 7 km from the objective. Cars are not allowed and walking 7 km in plain sun isnt fun either. Only busses are allowed to drive until the top

This is absolutely one of the most magical and medieval places in Mallorca! The castle and church atop the hill is awesome. A stroll up the streets to the castle can be a bit harsh as the streets can be steep at times, but well worth it. The people here are so welcoming. The Fiesta's are amazing and just a short distance from the wonderful harbour town of Cala Rajada. I absolutely love this place.xxxxx

An interesting place for a walk. It won’t take you much time, as the site isn’t very big, but I think it’s worth it. The regular ticket costs €3, and children under 10 get in for free.

Nice castle if you’re around. Probably finding a parking spot in the town will take up more time than visiting this castle, though.. don’t let that stop you. The (well preserved) building takes up 30 mins or so, and many of the parking spots are taking by tourists (who probably just come and go). Def. worth the 3 EUR , not worth a 2 hour detour I would say.

Must visit. Nice walk with a view. Liked, apart from the views, the governor’s house>museum.

It is ok to visit the castle, don`t expect much of it. Entrance is 3 Euros, payment only by card. You can also download an audio guide at the entrance. Make sure you have proper shoes and a hat, it can be very hot up there. The view to Menorca is great also to the small town and the church. You can walk around in max. an hour. The walk up there is really nice, you can lose yourself on the little streets.

Cala Torta is a serene beach nestled amidst small cliffs and wild nature, offering a laid-back atmosphere for swimming and sunbathing. Located near Cala Mesquida Beach, this spot is beloved by locals for its brilliant white sands and gentle hills. Accessible by foot from the unmade road or via a scenic hike from Cala Mesquida, the beach boasts just one bar and restricted car access to preserve its fragile ecosystem.
Beautiful beach, 1.4 km down the broken road from where you can park your car. Decent shoes are a good idea, sandals were ok. Bring plenty of water. It took us around 15 minutes to get down to the beach and around 16 to get back up, but I sure felt the way up a lot more. Parts of the beach are fairly steep, so it might be a good idea not to bring your younger kids here. But it's definitely worth the trip.

It’s about 15’ from Artà by car. You should leave your car around 1-1,5km from the beach. It is not allowed (and even dangerous) to go further by car. The beach is quiet, calm, there is not a lot of people. I don’t recommend to go there on wheelchair or with little baby stroller.
Anna S — Google review
Very nice and secluded beach. Very few people, but there is a 20-30 minute walk. There is a path also from the next beach.

Cala Torta is one of those places that makes you feel like you’ve earned the experience. The beach is absolutely stunning, crystal-clear turquoise water, surrounded by rocky cliffs and wild nature. No buildings, no bars, no restaurants, almost untouched beauty. It feels remote, raw, and peaceful. To get there, you’ll need to walk about 1.5 km on a trail that’s not well-marked and a bit uneven, with a gentle uphill on the way back. It’s not super difficult, but definitely something to be aware of, especially in the summer heat. On the plus side, the effort helps keep the crowds away, even during high season. There’s a small food truck/restaurant right before the trail begins, it’s your last chance to grab food or drinks, so stock up if you plan to stay for a while. The walk itself is scenic, with beautiful views of the coastline as you approach the cala. If you’re up for the short adventure, Cala Torta will reward you with one of the most beautiful and peaceful beach experiences in Mallorca. Highly recommend!

A 20-30 minute walk down a hill to reach the beach. Not too crowded, but not as empty as the reviews make it seem either. I guess it’s gotten popular. There’s no cell phone service. The road you walk on to reach the beach seems to have been asphalted before but it’s just broken down and ruined, which is why no cars are allowed on it. The end of the road, right before the beach is like going through a forest. There was a sign that there are strong currents and that the beach is a dangerous zone with high risk of drowning, and that the beach is not watched. While we were there, there was a lifeguard with an emergency vehicle, so the sign might be old. The lifeguard showed up a bit later though (around 11h maybe), so if you go earlier, keep in might that there might not be anyone to help in the case of an emergency. The water was nice, lots of algae though. I guess it depends on the season. It wasn’t my favorite beach, but it was a nice little adventure to get there. Sneakers are better than flip flops, but both work.

Quite beautifil beach in the midst of a marvellous rock coast landscape. Great for hiking around.

Did not meet my expectations based on the many reviews I read. It’s a natural setting, but not extraordinary. Moderate seaweed mixed with sand in the shallows. Long hike to get there, uphill on the way back. Then discovered a thief had broken our car window and made off with some of our belongings, including a computer and iPad, so be careful. (We actually tracked him down in his apartment an hour away in Palma using Apple’s “Find My” function and with the help of his neighbors got most of the stuff back.)

Came here in late October. Gorgeous weather.Beach ok..but lots of people. Thought it was supposed to be a nudist beach. No chance of that here.

Cala Mesquida, a Place of Special Interest in the Balearic islands, is a haven for nature enthusiasts. The beach boasts diverse natural surroundings with sand dunes, rocky patches, and pine trees. It is home to one of the largest cormorant and seagull colonies in the Balearic islands. The area also offers a luxurious hillside hotel overlooking the bay and Parque de Levante nature reserve.
If you're looking for a serene slice of paradise before the crowds arrive, this beach is it. We arrived just after sunrise and were greeted with calm, crystal clear waters and total peace. Until around 11 am, the beach felt like a private escape. The water clarity was exceptional, offering perfect visibility for snorkeling. I followed the rocky edges and saw a wide variety of marine life. Parking was simple and close to the beach, making it easy to bring snorkeling gear without any hassle. While the area does become more crowded in the afternoon, the early morning hours are absolutely ideal for anyone who enjoys nature at its quietest and most beautiful. Highly recommended for early birds and ocean lovers.

Nice Beach. Only the toilet is quite far away from the sunbeds. Two sunbeds and a parasol kost 19,50€/day (on 09.2025) To get sunbeds, be thare at 0930. After 1030 there are no sunbeds left.

Our favorite beach! We hiked everyday from Cala Aguila through the beautiful forest. It is a 30-40-minute hike and the views are amazing. You meet a lot of horse riders on the way. At the end of the hike you get rewarded with the most amazing views of the sea! I didn’t know there existed so many shades of blue!!! The water is insanely beautiful! The cliffs make for great pictures. The beach itself is also very nice. We always sat at the nudist area (fully clothes) as it was very calm and we didn’t mind the people. The other parts of the beach were pretty busy. But for us, this was an unforgettable experience- the hike, the views, the beach.

Gorgeous beach. Worth noting that there is a long walk down steps for any disabilities/heavily pregnant people. But worth it. The beach can get very wavy but it was clear and lovely the day we went. Steep sloping beach, soft sand. Fun place for kids
Kim S — Google review
Beautiful beach, worth visiting and spending the day here. Bring something to eat with yourself and drinks if you don't want to spend too much at the beach bar. Easy to find a parking near (visiting early October).
Amadej B — Google review
One of the best beaches in Mallorca. Long, wide, sandy, plenty of space and very clean water. Although it's a bit hard to park in high season, you need to go early to find a free spot in the limited parking.
Boris T — Google review
Beautiful location, beautiful beach. Sun loungers with lockers were €19.50 for the day. We went out of season and it was still pretty busy but not cramped. There’s a restaurant a very short walk from the beach that overlooks it which sells food and drink and has a toilet, but there is also a small shed like structure slightly further along with one women’s and one men’s toilet, which were surprisingly clean. Parking was limited, we had to park up the hill road the car parks but we did arrive quite late on in the day and still managed to find a spot.
Jane B — Google review
The beach is excellent, the location is great! A cove with a good beach. The beach is clean and there are sunbeds and umbrellas (for payment), but you can rest for free. The beach is not for children as the waves are quite big. The water is clean and comfortable. I will take away only 1 star for the incomprehensible smell on the beach, and a lot of flies (cadaverous stench).

Cala Agulla is a stunning beach located in a serene area of Mallorca, popular among locals and visitors seeking natural beauty. The 500-meter stretch of fine white sand and crystal-clear shallow waters make it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. The beach is surrounded by scented pine forests and mountains, offering picturesque hiking trails for all levels. Additionally, nearby medieval town Capdepera provides a cultural excursion after a day of sunning and swimming.
Undoubtedly, for us, this is the best and most beautiful beach in Mallorca. Despite the presence of seaweed, you can always find a spot without it. The water is simply mesmerizing, especially combined with the pink sand. There are also very beautiful spots for snorkeling. It can only be compared to the water and sand in Sardinia.
Andrii A — Google review
Cala Agulla is a really nice beach with beautiful landscapes to admire! The sand is soft and white, and the water is super clear. It's great that there are bars and showers available. A quick tip: arrive early to secure a good parking spot and a prime location for your towel or a sunbed. Just a heads-up though, it can get very crowded, and there can sometimes be a lot of algae in the water.
Marko Ž — Google review
Beautiful beach with breathtaking views! The beach gets really busy, but mainly the first 2/3 of the beach. The last part of the beach is significantly better- very clean, with a lot of space and definitely quieter as it is close to the forest and away from the beach bars. The water is crystal clear - you can see many fish. The sand is clean. The forest with the beautiful trees and the turquoise waters make for an unforgettable view and pictures.
Vesela D — Google review
What a lovely beach and surrounding area. Absolutely stunning beach for sunbathing and swimming. Clear waters with fish which are visible with the naked eye. Great rock pool with sea life in. Overall brilliant place. Lifeguard on duty also bar/cafe nearby.

I am currently here on July 23rd, 2025. Arrived around 10:45 and it was packed but we found a good spot up front. This is the third beach we’ve been to in Mallorca and I love it! The sand is very fine! There are large rocks in the sand in certain places but you can walk over them to find a spot to set up. The water is perfect! It’s very shallow For a while. You have to walk out somewhat far to not be able to touch the bottom. Which is great for little kids!!! Lots of Families and just couples are here. The water is calm, even when it is a little windy! No real waves. The water is my Favorite thing about this beach! I was able to use my float without getting crushed by waves. It’s Also crystal clear with no seaweed or debris. Water wasn’t warm but wasn’t cold either. It was cool. It’s not a very hot day together and we’ve had intermittent rain(just sprinkles). There are two lifeguards on duty which is concerning since there are so many people at this beach. No way they’d be able to save anyone. There are sun beds and umbrellas for rental. They are at the back of the beach but it’s not a wide beach which is good. Not sure the cost as we had our own umbrella and towels. There are water sport activities for rent such as paddle boarding and paddle boats with a slide. There are several beach bars that sell reasonably priced drinks and baguettes and sandwiches.beers were about 3-4 euro. Mixed drinks about 9 euros. Baguettes and sandwiches are about 5-6 euro. There’s also a sit down restaurant with a bathroom. If you are a customer, the bathroom is free but if you are not, it’s 1 euro. The bathrooms are clean and there is an attendant! Another favorite thing is that behind us are just dunes and next to us are mountains. It’s a beautiful view! There are hotels on the other side but the view is covered by trees. Parking is a pain as it’s hard to find parking close. We got lucky and found a spot about a 5 minute walk. Not too bad but with little ones it’s not ideal. One thing I didn’t care for was the smell. The seaweed smell isn’t pleasant but it’s tolerable. Overall, it’s worth visiting!
Karishma T — Google review
A very nice beach indeed. Good services at the beach, like life guard and small bar for drinks and ice cream. Also the possibility of renting beach chairs and parasols. The sand is mostly clean, besides the occasional algae and at least when we visited in October it wasn’t very crowded. Recommended. 🏝️☀️😁

Clear warm water pink sand, beautiful beach to say the least. Gets a bit crowded and you might need to park your car a bit further, but you wont mind that unless you are a spoiled brat. Beach is 10/10

The water was crystal clear, the sand soft, and the views were stunning. It felt peaceful even with other visitors around. Great spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Can’t wait to go back!

Cala Gat, which translates to "bay of the cat" in Catalan, is a charming and scenic beach located in Cala Ratjada, Majorca. With its transparent turquoise blue waters and picturesque surroundings, it's a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. Despite its small size, the beach offers a laid-back atmosphere with a kiosk serving drinks and snacks. While lacking amenities like bathrooms or showers, it compensates with its natural beauty and tranquility.
Warm, clear water. Not overcrowded but small. Anyway worth to see!

Beautiful beach, not a lot of sand. But gorgeous even on a cloudy day.
M P — Google review
Extremely small beach, the sand was dirty. People are so close to each other that it gets uncomfortable. Take a few steps into the water and it's alredy deep. Algues made the experience even worse. Would definitely recommend you to take a walk in the area though. The view is stunning.

Nice small beach, a bit crowded even in the beginning of october, but all the other beaches were crowded aswell. Water was very clean.

Nice, small, picturesque beach.

Small charming beach, transparent, turquoise blue water..., incredible, the typical postcard beach that we all look for in Majorca, it has a small bar where you can have a drink or eat... The beach has no bathrooms or showers, like It usually happens on more natural beaches on the island..., you can park nearby, not suitable for wheelchairs
Jandtheworld — Google review
In March there was not much going on, so there was enough space on the beach. Since the bay is small, it can get crowded quickly in the high season.

Cala Gat (translating from Catalan means - literally „bay of the cat”). We discovered it quite unplanned during a trip to Cala Ratjada. Of course we don't regret it: few tourists, wonderful water and lots of greenery.
