I will almost give this 5 stars. Parking might be the lacking last star. The small mideval center of town is absolutely amazing. Narrow streets. steep streets, city squares, music on the street corners. Here are souvenier shops, but if you avoid these, there is plenty of other things to enjoy ... I walked here for hours, and I am happy to do so again. The city square has an old knights templar castle/tower. An absolute beauty to behold. There is lots and lots of foods to choose from ... from the local eatery over touristic cafés and then the artisinal bakery. If you have lots of energy: walk all the way to the top and enjoy the medival castle .. or just walk halfway and see the church and the view of the old town.

A very beautiful old city with small shops for everything g not only tourism. You can find pharmacies, souvenir shops, café, pedestrian shop... Everything in a nice simple French taste

Great lake to have fun. You can rent peddle boats, motor boats and all kinds of other water equipment. The water is nice and clear. The "beach" is full of stones so it is advisable to have decent flipflops, especially coming out of the water is a bit tricky.

One of the best places in Europe , eventhough it was raining when we went so that we couldn’t do the boat ride/kayak or we couldn’t swim, but it worth even to visit and have that idyllic views of the lake. It is a huge lake in the Alps of Haute Provence region, known for its boat sailing, kayaking, pets and kids friendly beaches with fabulous view over the lake from the village and over the village from the lake. I took a trail around and across the village and was delighted with the scenery around, but I didn’t take any boat nor kayak trip, that are highly recommended though because if the peaceful waters and stunning view. There is an easy access to the lake itself, and to the main village streets. One can find a camping car lot and camping itself right near the entrance to the village, fully equipped with playgrounds and barbecue places. The place is full with people though everywhere: in the water and camping.

If you want to paddle around the lake and canyons, it is recommended to navigate directly to “Pont du Galetas”, where there are parking spaces and boat and kayak rentals. Very beautiful and very close to lavender fields.

A wonderful experience in the Gorges du Verdon

To me there was almost no the spirit- they made it like museum and take 9 euro for the entrance. Disapointed.

This is off the beaten path a little, but we were so glad we visited. Beautifully restored 900 year old Abbey. If you are looking for fancy gargoyles and intricate designs then this isn't the place for you. It is sleek and simple in lines and impresses with its size, simple beauty, and sense of peace. The acoustics are impressive, whether in the church or the monks dormitory. The barrel vaulted ceilings and cloisters are beautiful. Visited on a Tuesday and there were only a dozen or so other visitors there at the same time so often we had spaces to ourselves. The parking lot is just across the road and it is a 200m or so walk on a cobbled path to the entrance through the reception/gift shop. Audio guides are available in English. There is a kiosk selling cold drinks & gelato by the car park.

Beautiful abandoned monastery set among trees a few miles outside Carcès. The monks may have gone, but their church and monastic buildings remain and it's fascinating to look at how they, and the Lay Brothers, lived their simple lives. (Not too simple though. Look at the size of that tithe barn). The acoustics in the the Romanesque church are wonderful. Outside, even the grasshoppers keep reverentially quiet. If feeding the flesh is as important to you as feeding the spirit, then there's a very pleasant little coffee shop in the car park a few hundred yards away. Tickets are 9€ and can be bought in advance on the website.

Further out into the courtyard around the church, one encounters silence , an architecture that does not shout, but whispers of proportion, light, and shadow. Here, each step becomes a meditation on how humanity shapes spaces for the sacred. In the olive production, where soil and labor are joined, one is reminded of the rhythm of monastic life: prayer and work, ora et labora. The roots of the olive trees reach deep, as if searching for what lies hidden in the frost the quiet force that carries both fruit and history. And finally, the magnificent jar. A simple vessel, yet also a symbol: humanity’s attempt to give form to what would otherwise slip away. Here, clay becomes a mirror of our own existence, fragile, yet filled with meaning. Thoronet is not merely a visit; it is a reminder that simplicity can be the most enduring. Perhaps something we ought to reflect on more today.

We went here on the recommendation of a family member and were not disappointed. What a fantastic abbey that is still in it's original condition. You can take a 1 hour guided tour or take the map and tour on your own. If you would like a guided tour in a different language than French, make sure you call ahead and request the language you would like for your tour. The atmosphere here was very peaceful. Plenty to photograph and appreciate. Would definitely recommend a tour here if you are in the area. Well worth it.

Very interesting for a visit

1. One of the most impressive places in Provence - the grandeur of nature is amazing. 2. The blue water of the Verdon and high cliffs create a truly magical picture. 3. Here you can walk, ride a boat or kayak. 4. A great place for photos and meditation in nature. 5. Definitely worth a visit - the views remain in your heart for a long time.

Some people's pictures are not of the Gorge they are of the lake at the bottom 30 minutes away. Just look at the geography of the land of you aren't sure. There is no lake. The pin poin is actually the very top. Please see my pictures for actual Verdon Gorge.

A must see if you are anywhere near the area. We drove 2 hours and it was completely worth it. We hired a pedalo near the mouth at Lac De Sainte Croix and pedalled up, it was the perfect way to see the canyon. Simply breathtaking, gorgeous natural beauty.

Breathtaking scenery and an unforgettable experience! We had an amazing time at Gorges du Verdon. The views are absolutely stunning—the water is a perfect turquoise, and the surrounding cliffs make it feel like something out of a postcard. We rented a paddle boat and explored deep into the canyon, but there are also kayaks and electric boats available if you prefer. The water was refreshing and perfect for a swim, and if you’re feeling adventurous, there are plenty of rocks to jump off of for a bit of extra fun. We went in the morning, which I highly recommend to avoid crowds and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The rental process was quick, with hardly any waiting, but make sure to bring an ID or driver’s license—it’s required to rent equipment. The staff were friendly, and the boats were in good condition. The price was very fair for the time we had on the water. There are also nearby cafes, restrooms, and parking, making it easy to spend a half or full day here. Whether you want a peaceful paddle, a swim in crystal-clear water, or a bit of cliff-jumping adventure, Gorges du Verdon is an absolute must-visit.

We visited Friday 22nd August and went to the naturist section which there are 2 off both are a right mix of n7de and textiles which is fine, but what really put us off was the people with dogs who did not lift the poos they just left them or even worse covered it with sand.

One of the best beaches in the Saint Tropez / Ramatuelle area. Just stunningly, but busy.

It is a nice beach but beware bring water and anything else you may need. We had a reservation at Nikki Beach but before that all of the ‘beach clubs’ won’t really even let you buy water or a drink, and renting chairs at them is very expensive.

Superb beach - totally clean water, nice waves, easy to walk in and all of the services you may need: ample parking (8 hours for roughly 20€, 30 min free), life savers services along the beach, an ice man running by with a cart and several clubs where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas plus have expensive lunches. Awesome place.

Nice beach, lots of parking

The beach Pampelonne Beach I visited today was absolutely splendid. The azure waters of the ocean were crystal clear and full of life. The pristine shores were immaculate, and the velvety sand felt luxurious under my feet. Not a single rock could be found anywhere, enhancing the beach's allure. I highly recommend this beach as a must-visit destination.

don’t get me wrong this is a BEAUTIFUL hike! but we were expecting it to be a one hour hike and it ended up being four hours which we were unprepared for. maybe it’s on us or maybe they need better signage? pack lots of water!

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe that I have visited. It really exudes unusual beauty and romance. The buildings are beautiful and I really like that kind of architecture. Along the coast of Cannes, there are beaches along almost the entire length. They are very clean and it is a real pleasure to swim. Lots of restaurants for every taste and pocket. And of course La Croisette! Beautiful! I will be happy to visit Cannes again!

Popularly known as Palais des Festivals et des Congres", La Croisette is about 22 km long promenade in Cannes along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea where the Cannes Film Festival is held. There is a sidewalk with hotels, casinos, brand stores, a rose garden and places with lots of shady trees where families meet and spend their quality time. There are interesting places around this place to stroll and explore. If you are falling short of time or do not have energy for a walk, then one can enjoy a small touristic city train tour to explore the nearby area. The place is dynamic with lots of hustle bustle of the tourists and locals. The evening sunsets and the night illuminations and combined with festive fireworks make this place truly romantic and mesmerizing. A must to visit when you are in France.

Luxury boulevard of Cannes, beautiful beach clubs/ restaurants, luxury shops.. it has also the top rated restaurants.. only that its extremely crowded.. so its not the right place to relax and enjoy the sea view.

There’s nothing like witnessing the sunrise during a morning run along the promenade. Ending the run by dipping my feet in the sea and listening to the waves and birds is a truly wonderful way to begin the day. It's a perfect moment of peace and connection with nature!

Beautiful pebble beach with public shower options

Great views of the bay and the city. The promenade is apparently over 7 kilometers long and offers lovely views of the water and the city. You can also get a great view of planes taking off to land and coming in at Nice airport! With so much seating available it is a fantastic spot to park up with some takeaway food and watch the world go by. It can be especially pretty at sunset. If you are visiting Nice you will probably walk along here a bunch of times

Wide, wonderful, paved walking path between the town and the sea. Sit in one of the famous blue chairs to watch the waves and the beach scene. It's an enjoyable stroll at any time of day.

Nice is a very beautiful city. I could not have enough of it. The clear blue water and the buildings are just breathe taking. Even from the airplane I could see the blue color of the sea. This city should be seen on feet, walking around is the best to see its beauty. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the long beach. It was difficult to walk with my feet in the water because it was a stone beach not sand one.

Every visitor to Nice must visit here. The sun and beach, this is Mediterranean life.

Very disappointed with the way the carnival was conducted. The place itself was ok but man is there 0 information about what happens on opening night. They say its free for entry and then when you queue up suddenly everyone has tickets. They block the whole view from the sides for the carnival and hold it in a super exclusive staged area. We travelled all the way from UK for this for nothing. If people say we should have bought tickets in advance, its clearly mentioned on the website that its free on opening day and doesn't mention about any tickets!

Lovely area with live music regularly. We found many shops and restaurants in the area. We didn't have a chance to see if uber was well represented here because our hotel was close enough to the water as close enough to Nice Massena that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Old city is very near. So is the castle hill. Both places I would highly recommend. The beech of course, too! We found it quite easy to communicate as English speakers. We were only in Nice 2.5 days but would happily return to this area!

If you're in the French Riviera, you clearly have to come to Nice and to visit this place. It's always full of people, a lot of places where you can seat. Thanks to the metro it's pretty easy to go there. Also most of the time there are artists which perform music.

The place was simply beautiful. There are lots and lots of services like restaurants, bars opened till night, markets, clothing markets and souvenir markets. The bus servise works also very good all around the city. You can visit a lot of places in the city like Massena square, Garibaldi Square, the old city centre, the castle, the English promenade. There are many things to do and to visit. You must Go there!!!!

One of the nicest parts of Nice I visited (pun intended). I was there during the Fifa women's world cup and Rngland was playing, all the expats were out in force. It was enjoyable.

City centre good for hangout It is well connected by tram, busses and even Nice central train station. This is large square with lots of activities and entertainment. Many shops and restaurants are located alongside this square. Sea beach is on walkable distance.

Lovely place for kids chill out in hot days. Two down point though: locals take dogs for a ride in the middle of kids playing and some others smoking closing by where there are kids around.

Wonderful place and totally worth the climb! Tip: go in the morning, the sun hits the hill on the other side. You will get better views and will avoid the crowds. Also, if you go in summer, it's way cooler!

Coming here in the rain turned out to be an excellent idea — there were almost no people around, and the views were still amazing. A bunch of viewpoints overlooking the city and the sea, walking trails, waterfalls, parks… it feels like someone was playing a video game and packed everything into one place. A beautiful experience.

The Colline du Château is also known as Castle Hill. It has several ideal lookouts / viewpoints from where you can see the best views of Nice. At the top there is even a terrace with a couple of benches, occasionally with a musician - there was a drummer when we were there. In addition to many scenic walks and viewpoints, there is also a waterfall, archeological ruins, playgrounds for children, and a cafe. It’s hard to miss seeing the Colline du Château from the famous Promenade d’Anglais and whether ascending either by steps on one side or a ramp on the other, it’s worth the effort. Spend an hour or the day as there are plenty of public restrooms and a couple of snack kiosks. Highly recommend!

Parc de la Colline du Château ended up being one of my favorite spots in Nice. The park is absolutely beautiful—lush pathways, peaceful corners, and some of the best panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean. Whether you hike up, take the stairs, or use the elevator, the views at the top are completely worth it. I loved wandering around the ruins, the gardens, and the waterfall area. It’s the perfect place to take a break from the busier streets below and just soak in the scenery. The mix of history and nature gives the whole park a calm, charming vibe. Overall, Parc de la Colline du Château is a must-visit when in Nice—great for photos, relaxing walks, and unbeatable views of the coastline and Old Town.

Ascending to the top rewards you with arguably the most spectacular panoramic views of the Baie des Anges, the bustling port, and the terracotta rooftops of Vieux Nice. Amazing view point for Nice and a good day out for sure! There is a lift you can take to the top of the hill which definitely improves the accessibility. It is decently busy (but what else would you expect). Upon my visit there was 2 people I encountered who seemed to be a little pushy to get people to take pictures with their Doves in exchange for money.

Colline du Chateau, also known as Castle Hill is a wonderful walk with stunning views of Nice. The waterfall was spectacular. We were also surprised to find a couple of places at the top of the hill where you could purchase refreshments. No tickets required, the walk is free, unless of course you wish to skip the exercise and catch the little visitor train.

The Park Alpha is located in the Mercantour Alps, on a highs of 1900m over sea, nearly 2 hours drive from Grasse. The way is curvy and due to the big storm Alex,three years ago, especially the streets in the mountains are damaged and you really could see what water is able to destroy. Arriving at the park we first went to the store and got some nice things to remember this visit. Afterwards we went to the park itself, a little bit higher the street than the store,more in the valley. We had some time to see the surrounding and at 5pm our guided tour, a very well animal things known women and very well english speaking women went with us in the inner park to see the mountain goats first and then to see and feed the iberian wolves. This was amazing and wonderful to be part of it. Can't believe to be so close to a wolve. After this we went over to another side in the park and could see the european wolves pack and our guide told us so many things, answered any question to know about wolves in general as well as special things for this area and the wolves. I would like to say a very big thanks to her for this time to spent with us to get this experience with the wolves. We only could recommend this place to support and see this wonderful animals. We will come back to this beautiful place some time.... thanks!

It's great to come to Switzerland and visit this place. The irresistible nature of the beauty of the soul within this special space I assure you that you will see things that you will only find here, the words and vocabulary are many, but I will summarize them for you with only one campaign, Come and see.👌

Rare attraction but definitely worth going if you’re an animal lover. I would say more interesting for kids. The park has altogether 6 wolves, due to the river floods in 2020, some animals like the Chamois escaped as we were told. The facility is very secure, the park guides are very informative and answer all questions about the wolves, we got to see them feed the wolves, it was quite interesting.

The 1 hr 20 min journey from Nice was absolutely stunning - with the road passing through gorges and mountain tunnels and cliffs towering high on either side. Our boys (11 and 14) loved it. It was 28 degrees in Nice (mid August) but high up the Alpha Park temperature dropped to a very pleasant 21 degrees. Makes sure you get your tickets at the building next to the very tall outdoor climbing wall. Then walk along the road a little before turning left up a rough Alpine path where you will find a bridge with an automated ticket barrier. At the Park we watched one of the pack of wolves up close through one way glass as they were fed raw chicken. Amazing! And then as we were leaving another pack began howling in unison. Very special. There is a restaurant but we didn't have time to enjoy it as we had to catch a flight home. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A nice place to enjoy nature and watch wolves though I did not come at the best time. There was snow on the ground and started melting, so the road was wet, dirty and slippery (I felt twice and luckily I didn't get hurt). Remember to come before the feeding time (twice a day at 11:15 and 15:45) and not to miss the feeding though it lasts a few minutes. The wolves are around before the feeding. Seems they are/have been expanding to include more animals and activities that will make it worthwhile for the long drive up there.

Great location, well organised and friendly service. Beware it is 1500 meters up in the Alps - you need some good clothes and take some food with you... it is pretty much a wild forest so not many options to get your meals bought on location 😉

Visited end of July. Perhaps there was a water restriction as the gardens seemed dry. Places needed trimming or at least tidied up. A bit run down. Paths and stairs need renovating. A few areas/paths closed. I would love to visit again when not so dry and renovations finished. Free parking limited to the street. Lovely view of the sea.

What an incredibly beautiful property. This garden is absolutely worth a visit. It's best to allocate at least 1hr to visit and discover the beauty of this garden! Parking options are a bit limited and visitors need to park alongside the main road.

I love botanical gardens and try to visit at least a new one each vacation. The location of Hanbury botanical gardens is very special, with great views of the Mediterranean sea, and have interesting features, in terms of the antique buildings, plants and decorations (statues, etc) but imo it really needs more care! We visited in August, which I understand is a hot and dry month, but in comparison to other botanical gardens -in the same region- also visited in summer, this one could really gain with more irrigation, plant care, and some details as more labeling of the plants species and some additional informative data (origin, uses, etc) Hope this comment is taken into consideration for improvement.

Would not have missed this botanical gardens. We've spend approximately 3 hours here. The garden is beautiful even at early September. It is true that some parts need some maintenance, but it also gives some extra charm to it. Imagine the potential! A big plus is the silence, especially since the rest of Cote d'Azur is such a busy and extravert environment. Highly appreciated!

Just a fantastic garden and setting. Put aside a few hours for a walk around the garden. Numerous viewpoints and benches to sit and soak up the plants, cactus and trees. Even a cafe!

Very impressive and beautiful. Unfortunately some parts were closed due to storm damage. But still it was a walk of wonder and delight to see all this exotic flora and spectacular views! Take notice there is no dedicated parking lot so be prepared to park your car along the street, hopefully not too far off.

great place to spend half a day outdoors with your family. the zoo is cared for down to the smallest details, clean and equipped with all the comforts that families need: bars, restaurants, toilets, many bins for recycling in different parts of the park. the animals are well cared for and happy. it is truly a pleasure to visit a place like this. I recommend buying tickets online so as not to waste time at the ticket office. there are two convenient and spacious car parks. disabled people enter for free and every place is accessible by wheelchair/stroller. great experience! you can participate in the bird show by booking online!

The night safari ticket is well worth the 16 euros as you can visit the park as many times as you want

Zoom is a lovely Zoo and Water Park near Torino. It's a great place to see a variety of animals and enjoy a day at their artificial pools. It is highly recommended to plan things out. You can access the park from Torino via teain to Piscina (please note they are operating Bus Rail Replacement services). While Google Maps says it's a 19 minute walk from the Train Station. There are no sidewalks on part of the trip so it's best to reserve a shuttle which for €5 RT will take you to / from the park. This can be booked online and paid in cash to the driver. Book tickets in advance, you can reserve spots at the beach and have a pair of sun loungers and an umbrella for about €27. Ticket prices are reasonable but check online as discounts are available. The pool itself is extra so look for deals. Several food options and expect about €15-20 for lunch on the low-end. (The fried seafood platter was a miss). Lots of places to buy waters at €1.50 each, no real free water fountains like you find all over Italy. Animals seemed to be treated ok, it's a zoo and of course some people have strong opinions about that.

Awesome place! It’s easy to access when you buy the ticket online. Getting there can be a little tricky if you’re using the train, but it’s worth it. The animals are well-organized, placed together to create a good system, and navigating the zoo is easy if you follow the path. The staff are very helpful and all speak English. The seating areas between the animal enclosures, especially the one near the tiger exhibit, are great. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, totally worth it and affordable.

Fantastic place. Very nice and friendly staff! We stay 2 nights with my 2 daughter they loved it. Amazing place to have a fresh and lots of knowledge about animals. The zoo it’s adorable 🥰

Superb zoo! Extremely well organised and thought through. Animals looked well looked after and enclosures were built in a way to feel natural and were well maintained. Plenty of toilets and eat/drink options and lots of staff looking after every aspect. Two excellent play areas to occupy a 5 year old. Whole site is not huge and could go around it in half a day if you wanted but it's also ok to spread things out and take breaks. Plenty of extras with talks and shows if you can organise yourself to fit around the schedule. We stayed over night at the "Glamping" site which was also excellent. Very nice room and then that allows you to take breakfast in the terrace restaurant sitting in-between the lions on one side and giraffes and savanna animals on the other side which was a very cool experience. The only negative is that there was a disgusting and overpowering smell i think coming from the toilet/sewage system in the area of our accommodation which was strong enough to make me feel sick and detracted from the enjoyment of the evening as it was impossible to sit on the terrace of our room

A Historic castle that represents many historical item from different cultures and countries, as a Turk it was amazing to see Turkic items from Ottoman Empire and the diplomacy between Casa Savoia and Turks.

This castle was one of the most interesting places I have visited around Turin. I truly recommend it, although I didn’t pay, because it has free entry every first Sunday of every month. But it’s totally worth visiting.

Magnificent exterior and beautiful interior rooms with different themes. Multiple chambers with different Chinese art, galleries with portraits and other diverse paintings, a billiard room, an authentic bathroom and huge kitchen in the basement. Room descriptions are only available in Italian though.

One of the best castle around Turin, 45mins drive from Turin. Totally worth it. The best parts are the Chinese apartments, one of the most elaborate in Europe, and you still see the trace of modernity in the Castello like lift and commercial refrigerator.

Beautiful palace but it should be restored very soon...A lot damaged ceilings by water and most of the tapestries and silk covered furniture is damaged, too.

Museum was good, the tour was dreadful value for money. €39 per adult for a 50 minute tour. We were thrilled to watch a match between the Juventus main team and their Next Gen team, a tip we got from our hotel receptionist, Andrea. As my daughter is a huge Juventus fan, it was a dream come true for her. We were surprised to find that tickets were only 10 euros, a bargain compared to the 40-euro stadium tour tickets we were considering. For that price, we not only got to enter the stadium but also got to watch an exciting match. As someone who has been to many stadiums around the world, I must say this is one of the best. It's incredibly modern, clean, and well-organized. The seats are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in—very smooth and comfy. We were lucky to have seats right above the VIP lounge, so we got to see all the players and even some celebrities like Chiellini and the Italian women's national team. The field was also in perfect condition, with freshly cut, beautiful grass. The atmosphere was amazing, filled with passionate fans and great energy. It was an unforgettable experience, and we hope to come back to watch another match someday.

I visited this museum about 10 years ago and the experience back then felt on another level. The storytelling, especially in the Gods Library, and the way the rooms connected made the visit much more fluid and comfortable. This time, unfortunately, the huge number of visitors made it almost impossible to enjoy some sections. Even with pre-booked tickets, it was extremely crowded and in some areas difficult to walk or stop to see the exhibits properly. What I did appreciate, however, were the new virtual experiences in some rooms, which clearly and engagingly explained the historical context and processes.

I’m sure they’re trying hard to make this the standout Egyptian museum and have spent a lot of money on it. There are some fantastic things exhibited here but….its overcrowded and it’s strangely boring and repetitive. There are too many exhibits to take in. They should have cut back on the exhibits and instead told the history of Egypt far better. The museum is all over the place in terms of its narrative. It’s thematic but really needs to be chronological and help piece together what we’re viewing. It was a real shame because I just wanted to leave after half an hour of being bored and learning surprisingly little about an interesting subject.

Very comprehensive museum on Egypt. I think I managed to go through all of it. Felt like I got a complete rundown on the entire corpus of Egyptian history. The app guide is glitchy. I downloaded some modules but sometimes it reloads if you don’t keep the phone open, and then it says you’re offline and won’t load the module anymore. So maybe the old school audio guide you can get at reception is a better option. However, the displays do a good job anyway and you can still get enough of a gist of it just with the displays. To do the entire museum, reading everything and listening to the audio guides, would take the best part of a whole day. But there’s an in house cafe at a convenient midpoint.

The only down side is that the dedication exhibition that changes could be smaller so that the main part had more cinema history related stuff. In addition to these the elevator is a must. I also recommend getting tickets in advance since it can get crowded(having tickets for both the exhibition and the elevator can reduce the wait time drastically).

The part where cinema technology moves into gaming felt the most contemporary but it was not much. Note that when I bought the ticket online, there was only the option to buy a combined museum + panoramic lift ticket. Yet when I tried to get on the lift I was told my ticket was only for the museum. There wasn’t even a way to buy the tickets separately on the website so I’m not sure how I could have done it wrong. Anyway, I decided to skip the lift rather than buy another ticket. So I’m not sure if you should buy a ticket in advance, actually.

Later there is more histroical explanations about wine, where it comes from and how culture has shifted around wine. Overal a fun experience, not too long and enough diversity and interactivity.

WiMu has a different approach to some other wine museums. Rather than focussing on the technological aspects of the wine making process, it highlights the relationship of wine to the region itself. It does so using a series of informative art installations, with a different focus each room. The third and final floor felt a bit random (some history about local schooling, plus a conference room), and didn't add much to us. Overall, this was a fun experience and definitely worth checking out when visiting Barolo
