Personal opinion, I enjoyed more this stadium than the other site at Nemea. Descriptions are helpful to explain, nice experience to walk into the tunnel of the runners and to appear in the stadium. You can get an idea of what it was. Parking is lower than the museum, but the visiting time is faster. Same ticket of the museum to enter

Not overcrowded and very nice to walk through the tunnel, with texts. These old texts give you the feeling of how it once was. The games, the environment ... history in its purest form.

Extra for the ticket to the site with the temple. We loved the natural setting and the corridor.

Quite an astonishing place, the entrance tunnel to the running track gives you a taste of the original Olympics site. Set in a beautiful rural landscape. Worth visiting especially with the nearby ancient Nemean site and museum. One ticket covers both sites.

Not as interesting as Olympia but historic and has been used recent years for the Olympic torch.

In ancient times, Nemea was the site of the Nemean Games, which were held every two years in honor of Zeus. In addition to the great temple, there is also a perfectly excavated stadium with access tunnel, changing rooms and starting blocks about 500 m away. Even a water canal running around the stadium should serve as a refreshment for the athletes. There are modern sport competitions every 4 years here in the stadium.

A monastery off the beaten path which we really liked! We took a detour to the monastery on our way back from Arachova to Athens. It is big and beautiful and has a beautiful painted crypt and inside of the church. Well looked after and lost of interesting history. The stables and one or two other buildings did burn down 2-3 years ago and they are restoring it. It does not distract from the great experience and I can highly recommend the place. Lots of parking and we could pay by card.

A must see. Worth a detour, worth a visit. Meteora is also a must see at a stunning location. This is a stunning monastery at a beautiful place.

Stunning view of the mountains, the building itself is beautifully taken care of, it is active so people do go to participate in service but there is plenty of small areas to explore with bits of history information and a small museum room where u need to buy entry tickets. There is a large parking lot higher up from monastery but with the hills and stairs it could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. There are clean toilets for use before you get the entry gate as well

I drive in from Domvrina. The drive was amazing, Ag Anna was beautiful, all the villages on the way were beautiful and the Monestery is in a unbelievable place. Stunning views. The people there are so nice. I recommend anyone visiting Greece visit here.

Gorgeous monastery that everyone should visit. I can't believe how obscure this place is when it's monumental and religious value matches that of Parthenon in its respective hostorical era. The view is wonderful and everyone is so friendly and willing to share facts about Saint Loukas and the monastery itself.

An amazing lake so beautiful that it is suitable for every season! You can circle it on foot (an hour's walk) and stop for a picnic. On Saturdays there is a small farmers market near the monastery in the middle of the lake

Lake Doxa offers an amazing Alpine-like landscape all year round. Maybe in winter the scenery gets more dramatic and movie-like. Prefer to visit on days of non-public holidays as it gets really crowded. Thus you'll get to experience the beauty and silence of nature in all its glory. Hiking, horse riding and canoe are some of the activities you can enjoy while you're here. Lake Doxa (Greek: Λίμνη Δόξα, romanized: Limni Doxa) is an artificial lake in western Corinthia, Greece. It is situated at an elevation of 900 m' In the heart of the lake on a small peninsula features a small church of Agios Fanourios.The area of Lake, which has been declared as NATURA area, is of outstanding natural beauty and receives many visitors. The only negative I saw was the small makeshift shops from the vendors near the chapel that spoiled the image of the landscape. There could be small uniform shops in a row made of wood or some material that would fit the landscape.

Beautiful lake with water bikes, canoes, a little chapel and tables with locally produced products. Great place for a picnic, bicycle or just to enjoy the view. Not sure if you are allowed to swim.

Worth the money and the trip. Gorgeous ruins and views. Very informative museum along the site. You might wanna go around morning or afternoon to avoid high noon sun.

It is humbling to see how advanced the ancient Greek were, compared with the rest of Europe. A really impressive site to visit. The walk to the stadium is quite a climb. (Not hard, just exhausting in warm weather) If you really want to see it, go for it. It is beautiful. I would surely recommend getting a top view from the theatre, to really see how big the site is. Also, dont forget to visit the museum. Perhaps visit the museum first. And remember the statues you see there. A lot of pieces of the puzzle will fall in to place at the site. As you can hardly imagine how things would have looked

The site itself is relatively compact and, to further that feeling, when we visited the Athena part of the monument was temporarily closed. The space is well kept, and even or a rainy day the site was still very accessible with no security concerns due to slippery terrains. The temple of Apollo was amazing and everything from top to bottom was stunning, especially in context with the rest of the remnants like the treasury and the market. Didn’t have time to visit the museum, however, I still found it very much enjoyable and interesting.

An unforgettable experience. After visiting the museum we climbed the hill up to Apollo's temple. The place has a certain atmosphere, which cuts through even when the huge tour groups rumble through each area. If you have any interest in the Oracle you must come to see this magical place. Ask Apollo for advice at his temple, which is the centre of the universe, and wait for a sign. The views are stunning and the only negative is I wished it hadn't been so busy. Perhaps try to visit at a quieter time of year. Highly recommended.

A great place to visit some ruins. Beautiful. Striking. Imposing. Impressive. They’re in the process to add a cafe by the entrance. A few cats that are hungry, they come to visits expectedly for food.

The famous Temple of Apollo at the Delphi archaeological site, located between the beautiful town of Arachova and the modern village of Delphi, is absolutely worth visiting and highly recommended. The place where the temple stands feels magical—you can truly connect with the surrounding nature. There’s something special about the mountains, the golden-yellow flowers scattered everywhere, and the lush green trees. A helpful tip: be prepared for plenty of walking. It’s like an easy hike up to the upper part of the site, where you’ll find a stunning ancient stadium and breathtaking views.

Very nice area on the top side of a mountain with a nice view. A lot of history here and informational plaques. There’s also plenty of staff around the help keep things moving and answer any questions. Would recommend taking a trip out here if your looking for places near Athens to explore

Really incredible visit. The views are top notch and the entire site is exquisite to visit and learn about. We were nervous about the time to drive up from Athens, but we hired a driver for the day and it was worth every bit of the cost. Not only a driver, but guiding us along the drive and pointing us in the right direction once at the site. Worth doing, don’t drive yourself and I’d avoid the massive tour buses. Very much worth a visit all around. Do the site first and museum second. Bring water and be prepared for hills.

Wonderful museum and archeological site closed to the modern village of Delphi. The museum has wonderful artifacts but is not overpoweringly large. There is a good flow through the development of Delphi as a sacred site and it's demise before being restored by the Romans. The archilogical site is deceptively large, winding a long way up the mountainside. Allow at least 90 minutes to see the whole site. Cafe at museum ticket office serves good coffee and sandwiches. The shop is a bit twee but has some interesting items. Main downside of the site is the toilets. There is nowhere near enough for the volume of visitors and the inevitable queues and lack of cleanliness are quite offputiing. Much better to take the short walk into a taverna in the village, and probably as quick

Delphi was absolutely breathtaking — one of the highlights of my trip to Greece. The combination of stunning mountain views, ancient ruins, and peaceful atmosphere makes it a truly special place. Walking through the archaeological site, you can really feel the history and imagine what it must have been like thousands of years ago. The Temple of Apollo, the ancient theater, and the stadium are incredible to see up close, and the museum adds great context with beautifully preserved artifacts. Everything is well organized and easy to explore, and the scenery surrounding the site is simply majestic — it feels almost spiritual.

We visited ancient site first due to rain, but recommend museum first. Great exhibits. Do not miss an allow at least 2 hours. Came later in the day and seemed ho be thinning out. Lots if tourist busses. Also was able to park on street close to museum for free. Lots of great artifacts and pieces of history.

Lots to see, varying degrees of difficulty great for individuals with wide range of physical capabilities, and must have a good knowledgeable guide to bring the site to life. Little known fact, a landslide in the last few years has made the area around and access to the Athena temple a restricted no entry area. However, there are plenty of amazing views and spaces to rest in the shade that allows you to soak it all up.

Delphi and the museum are just wonderful. There really is something special about the site and the museum is concise and has great information about the history of the area and more. Definitely worth the visit! My only drawback was the very expensive cafe at the museum - I bought a half a tiny pizza that was tasty but somewhat dry and far, far too costly.

It was a long drive from Athens but it was worth it. If you have time, it's definitely worth seeing there. The same ticket works both for the Museum a d the Archeological Site. Beautiful history and well preserved statues. Highly recommended 👌🏼

A beautiful bridge, we used it to drive from Kyllini to Preveza area. The toll was 15.40 euro for a car one way, but there is no warning of the price until you're almost across. There are ferries as an alternate option although I don't know the price. A quick and easy way to travel.

From wherever you look at this bridge, it is a triumph of design and elegance. We never get tired of looking at it or enjoying the breathtaking crossing.

It is a bridge erected in its grandeur, very beautiful and scary! It is in great condition, 4 stars for the high price it has and for the waiting in line to pay!

Take a ferry instead! You will pay 7 euros per car and get a beautiful view of the bridge.

Saint Andrew Church in Patras is definitely impressive in size—it’s the biggest church in Greece. The building looks grand from the outside, and the mosaics inside are nice. That said, it doesn’t feel particularly special or memorable, especially compared to some of the older, more historic churches in Greece. Still worth a quick visit if you’re in the area, but don’t expect to be blown away.

This is one of the most impressive cathedrals in the world. It is being build for over a century. Located next to the old St Andrews Church and the sacred cave where Saint Andrews use to live. The place of the church is the place of his martyrdom where the Romans crucified him on a saltire (X-shaped cross). The cathedral is home to the remains of the saint (see photo with the silver case in the shape of the church) and the remains of the cross (in the saltire casing). Visiting the place after 25 years was a pilgrimage.

Spectacular church where everyone is welcome to venerate the holy relics of Jesus Christ's first called disciple, who was crucified here. One of Saint Spyridon's shoes can also be found here (in the old church).

A breathtaking place. The initial construct is an architectural marvel built within a spectacular natural setting. Believer or not, you will enjoy this place. The magnificent natural environment on the route adds to the experience. The narrow roads require caution, especially to inexperienced drivers.

It s always a treat to visit this monastery and chapel. Everything is so meticulous. There was a bit of rain so took umbrellas to walk the 300 meters from the parking lot. It was quiet which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the church. Enjoyed the bread samples and the Turkish Delight which they offer. This is the third time web have visited.

The Monastery of Proussos was named from the Icon of Panagia Prousiotissa from Proussa in Minor Asia. It is a historic building that has kept expanding due to donations. The location is impressive and it can get very busy as buses arrive from all over the world to visit this. We loved the old clock and the oldest part of the monastery. One star less as it looked more like a business modern monastery that does not fit with the older part of the church. Still architectonically it is beautiful and you should definitely visit it.

Beautiful monastry with a very old and small church with the ancient icon of The Holy Mother. A bit crowdy and hard to reach but very rewarding if you do the effort to come there.

Apart from the monastery and the intriguing history of its namesake, Panaghia Prousiotissa (an icon of the Virgin Mary that originated in Proussa, Asia Minor), the surrounding area is gorgeous. Below the curvy road that leads to the monastery and cut into the mountainside, lies a river with turquoise waters that can be viewed throughout the drive. There are also interesting stops along the way -- like the "Virgin's footsteps." The monastery is just 35 kilometers from Karpenissi, a winter haven for snow skiing, as well as all-season hiking and exploring. Overall a must-do excursion.

Very beautiful monastery in a special location. It's amazing the feeling you get when you get there and face it. We enjoyed the view, we learned the history of the monastery from a monk who wanted to explain it to us. Information: Better not to bother the monks unless they show you they are available. Some are there to get away from other people and get closer to god through prayer.

A beautiful and historic bridge in Arta. Located over the Arachthos River. Dates back to the 16th century. There is a pedestrian path along the river, and a nice park to view the bridge. Also many Kafeneios and restaurants with bridge side views. I can recommend for a lovely outing while in the area. Not far from the highway and a great place to stop en route to other locations.

A step into the 15th century, even made more interesting by the myth of the bridge's construction. This is truly a wondrous structure, add to that its functionality even to this day.

It is a fantastic 17th century AD stone bridge of the Arachthos River and it is the most famous sight to see in Arta. It is the most famous bridge in Greece because of its beauty and of the legend about the so-called "sacrifice of the master builder's wife" in order for it to be built. According to the well-known folk song, 1300 masons, 60 students, 45 craftsmen under the Chief Master, tried to build the bridge whose foundations were destroyed every morning. The length of the stone bridge of Arta reaches 145 meters while its width is 3.75 meters. Platanos tree on one side is considered to be around 350 years old. It is enormous.

A beautiful and historical place to relax, have a cold greek coffee or enjoy a glass of wine. Absolutely recommended!

The myth of legendary bridge of Arta. A song is written about this bridge, the myth says that all day they were building it, at at night it would fall. The first builders wife had to be sacrificed in order for the bridge to complete. Other then the myth, it’s a landmark of the city, took its final form in 1612. However, the foundations of the bridge show that in this place there was a bridge as early as classical or Hellenistic times. The last addition was made in the times of the Ottoman domination, when the pavement was raised, so the bridge took on its current appearance. Its current appearance is the culmination of many occasional additions and reconstructions of the original building. The structure itself and the way it was constructed testify to the various phases of completion of the project and lead us to the starting point of its history.

Very nice and climatic place. You need to walk around 10-15 minutes to reach the place from the parking place. There is a lot of people be aware. I had a plan to get into the water while being there, but when I reached the destination I decided not too. The waterfall is too small (not enough rain) and water is simply dirty as there is not enough to run fast.

Depending on the season, you should expect to see different views and experiences. When I visited the cascade in summer, there was little to no water flow. However, the 10-minute walk through the gorge to reach the cascade was still very pleasant and absolutely worthwhile. Swimming is still possible, although the water is quite cold. At the entrance of the gorge, there’s a lovely café shaded by a huge plane tree, which I highly recommend for relaxing after the short trek. When you visit come with seaside shoes or sport shoes. Small kids can reach with some assistance from the parents. Parking is available near the café, but spots are limited. Depending on the time of day and season, finding a space can range from easy to a bit challenging—so plan accordingly.

It was a great experience overall and everything there was really nice. However, reaching the top was quite challenging—there were no clear visual paths, some rocks were falling from above, and of course, the little water that was there was freezing cold. Still, if you’ve got the stamina to make it, I definitely recommend visiting this place 100%!

The day that we visited the waterfalls didn’t have the chance to see the beauty that have been described about ( first week of August) due to lack of rain in the past few months, but the path that you have to follow to get there is wonderful. Almost fully covered with great shadows of the surrounding trees is recommended through the hot day hours. There is a wonderful coffee-bar that serves local refreshments, small snacks coffees and more , as well as a small shop with local products ( honey , marmalade and small gifts for loved ones!!!)

A short easy hike but be careful what time of year you will choose to visit as in the summer the waterfall might be completely dry.

The Archaeological Museum of Nikopolis is located at the north entrance of the city of Preveza. It is dedicated to the ancient site of Nikopolis, providing essential insights into the history and artifacts discovered in the region. I recommend visiting the museum before the archaeological site by the way. It also overview the history of the city over 2000 years from the creation in the Roman period to Late Antiquity following the modern time.

Lovely modern museum outlining growth in Nicopolis area and growth of Christianity in Roman empire. Can get a bus from Preveza or walk 30 mins from there. Ensure you include site A open, a further 2km more with Byzantine wall area.

Surprisingly informative, descriptive museum with a diverse array of artifacts from the hellenic era Roman ruins on an older Greek city site.

Excellent exhibition for Nicopolis. Must visit before visiting the open area archeological sites!

The museum is excellent and well thought out. It gives you a lot of information about Nicopolis. How it formed, different time periods and how it has come to be in it's present state. It is a shame though that the actual archeological site is poorly managed.

Simple layout with artifacts from the excavation nearby. Somewhat interesting but not for €10 per person. Takes about 30 minutes to walk around.

Beautiful beach. Walking path is about 20min. There are sunbeds and umbrellas but also a lot of free space to relax. Aqua shoes are recommended to enter the water. No WC, only a small pavilion for drinks, ice cream and some snacks.

An incredibly beautiful beach — just as stunning as the famous Porto Katsiki. I highly recommend visiting it! The beach is never too crowded, and there’s also a section with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. At the far end, you’ll find a nudist area. Parking is free, but you need to arrive by around 10 a.m. to find a spot. From there, it’s a 20–30 minute walk through a mountain forest with both uphills and downhills. If the sea is calm and there are no big waves, you can also reach the parking area by boat (water taxi).

The sunset from this beach is Worth the 20 minutes hike across the steep hill from Agios Nikitas and the trip back in the twilight. There were waves that afternoon but it was a nice change from the east coast calm waters.

The beach is really beautiful, water is crystal blue. There were some waves that have not seemed too big, however water taxi was not available that day..so better to maybe ask in the city. Going to beach through woods is doable, better with sneakers. There are some parts that are steep but with few rest stops it's not a problem. There is not toilet, restroom. Snack bar is above the beach.

Beautiful sandy beach ⛱️🏖️ 😍❤️ Perfect view. Perfect water: beautiful, turqouise and clear, little to no waves, sand and little pebbles in the water. You don't need water shoes because the bottom of the sea is smooth and the little bebbles are friendly with the feet. To reach the beach there are 2 options: Option no. 1: This option is about leaving Agios Nikitas by foot and going though the woods directly on the beach. For this option you need to walk and climb on a pathway through the woody hills and go down on some rocky stairs towards the beach so I recommend you to wear sport shoes (or water shoes) with thicker soles instead of slippers/flip flops. I super recommend this option because it's so so so worth the effort. Take care of mosquitos after sunset. The view is spectacular and a little effort compensates for a lazy sunny beach day ☀️ 😎 Option no. 2: You can also take a water taxi from Agios Nikitas if you want the easy way. After 4 pm there is a long queue of people waiting for the water taxi to go back to Agios Nikitas. When the last water taxi arrives they will wisle, this means there will be no other water taxi after it so you better hurry up to jump on the boat for the last ride. There is a beach bar with frappes and drinks. There is also an area of umbrellas and beach beds with fast food menu. From time to time some guys walk through the beach with water, juices, soda, beers or donuts and pastries. Beautiful 😍❤️ is the best word to describe this beach 🏖️⛱️

Amazing beach with big waves. Given it’s remote location, sunbeds cost 2 beds 1 umbrella 40 euros. So either bring your own or be prepared. The road to the beach is difficult terrain so be prepared with bad terrain shoes.

Beautiful (pebbly) beach; great coffee; 20-min, strenuous (due surface, elevation and the heat) walk to get to* but well worth the effort. *Or a nice 5€, 5-min boat ride, though often the queue for that takes as long as the walk.

A very nice beach. The water was very nice and warm. Parking was free on the side of the road and there was plenty of space for public or private beach. It is worth a visit here.

Incredible beach with all shades of blue color water of the sea. Waves are large and increasing with each hour until evening. There are restaurants, wc, parking and shower , umbrella and beds. We took parking under cower with two beds and umbrella 15 euro all. On the beach there is savior. On the sea must be careful, beach It starts with sand - finely ground pebbles, and then large stones in the water. You must go to the water without everything- sunglasses, shoes , hat, because everything will change and you won't notice . On this beach you do not need swimming mask . Magnificent picture all around there. The horizon is incredibleand so endless.

Beautiful beach, but very crowded in the season. There is almost always wind and waves, so you can forget about the heat. This beach is not for non-swimmers and small children. It is recommended to try paragliding.

Most easiest access to the beach with all comforts when you choose between Egremni, Porto Katsiki and Katishma. Also includes beach clubs, restaurants and different activities 😊

Kathisma is one of the most beautiful beaches on Lefkada and definitely worth visiting. The beach is long and wide, with plenty of space to find a good spot. Sunbeds are around 20€ for the ordinary ones, or 25€ for the wooden set with parking included, which is very convenient since parking can get busy in high season. The beach itself has small smooth pebbles instead of sand, which makes the water crystal clear. After just a few steps it gets deeper, so be careful if you’re not a strong swimmer. Sky blue waters, The water was murky and the mask didn't work. The beach was fine sand and for some like me it is not comfortable. You can bring your own umbrella or you can pay sunbeds. There was a lot of free parking but also private parking 5€/day. You need to get up early 9-9.30am to be at the place if you are looking for free :) The locals told me that you have to be carefoul when its windy and there are bid waves bcs some people has lost their lives! Meanwhile you can do paragliding there. Bars and restaurants was close by.

This is a MUST for anyone visiting the area of Epirus! Do not miss to make this stop at a place made by the hand of an artist! The entire structure with the stone corridors and the wax sculptures is a unique resemblance of the Greek 19th and early 20th century! Very informative tour and guide. He really knew a lot of facts to tell us about everything and every period shown in the museum. And even knew some historical facts about the First World War in Greece. I really learned a lot from him about Greek history which I didn't knew yet.

It's definitely worth your while. The surroundings are like you're in a cave. Attention is paid to every detail, even weed growing between stones!

One of the most beautiful museums - the wax statues are so detailed you feel they are alive.set in different periods they show scenes of the most significant events in the Greek history. The building inside is cleverly designed - you go through dark corridors and see the statues behind windows in various scenes. The last part is the artist's selection of various events . No photos or videos are allowed. Don't miss it!

The personages seems not so "real" and if you are "claustrophobic " its not a good idea to go here you are in the dark and it's cold and some personages move her eyes to look at you ... you don't feel so relax and you can not take photography and if you take the security gonna follow you on your back until the end like you have killed someone or like you have do the one abominable think it's stupid and crazy because in England you have the same thing and better with all the cinema star and you can take photos and touch the personages and it's seems more real it's stupid !

Very nice lake! You can walk around or get in one of the boats that do tours in the lake and enjoy the calm atmosphere. It is quite big and the scenery with all the trees and the birds and swans is lovely. There are also many restaurants around the lake so that anyone can enjoy the view while having a coffee or a meal. I would visit it again.

A very beautiful place to visit.Lake Pamvotida is located in the city of Ioannina, Epirus, Greece. Around of the lake there is the castle of Ioannina which has 3.200 inhabitants inside and there are many cafe bars,restaurants and souvenir shops which have sight of the lake. You can take the ferry for a fast cruise to the island of Ioannina for a visit.It has Byzantine churches and the museum of Ali Pasa who was governor of the city during the Ottoman period.It has also restaurants and souvenir shops there.The ticket for this cruise costs 2€ per route. This is a really big lake! At night, it looks like there are islands in the middle, there are lots of camping spots around this lake. When you wake up in the morning, you will be able to see that those "islands" are tall grass. There are also lots of animals and big birds around this lake.

The place is nice but the view of the Ioannina lake is spectacular ! You should let yourself drift around the alleys and see the architecture of the buildings inside the castle. There are museums, mosques and churches that are interesting for visitors to see. But the one place that was astonishing was the «Silversmithing Museum» (tip: watch all the 5’ documentaries at the screens inside the museum that demonstrate the unique silversmithing techniques of the area of Epirus)

Once you figure out where the "action" is there is a lot to see, whether you want to pay for entrance to specific things or not. The overall "castle" has many layers of history visible inside the bigger exterior walls.

Used to visit this place when I was a small child with my grandparents, and my parents a lot every time we visited Greece and Ioannina. It's a kinda nostalgic but also very special place to me.

An impressive place, definitely worth visiting and a person to experience their own adventure. You need aqua shoes because the water is quite cold, as well as a dry bag for luggage, they are sold in the parking lot. In places the water is deep, but everyone can explore as far as they want. They offer a variety of adventures, horseback riding, kayaks and boats on the river.

Lovely place with stunning, picturesque sites, definitely worth visiting. But the river is freezingly cold, literally could not keep my feet in it for more than ten seconds. Rafting is a must and we chose the first one to offer us this, at the very beginning of the tourist site. All in all, really well-organized, and definitely we will come again some day, just fully- equipped next time, to be able to explore more of the canyon.

The best excretion in the area... One of the best rivers to walk and swim in Greece... Really worth the visit and try some of the activities in the river like horse riding, zip line, cayak etc.... Highly highly recommended really impressed with the area...suitable for all ages from very young children

"Are you far from the river?". Our trip to the River Acheron was the highlight of our recent holiday in Parga. It is a truly extraordinary experience which I will never forget. The water is refreshingly cold and it gets so deep at points at the Gorge that you may have to swim. There is also rafting, kayaking and horse riding. There are plenty of places to eat in Acheron, beautiful open-air stores and bathroom facilities.

Life changing experience. Be prepared for cold swims and a bit of climbing. Bring swimming shoes though, or buy some before entering! Truly an incredible experience that everyone should go through at least once in their life.

This time my experience was completely different — and in the best way! The hotel is still wonderful, with its beautiful views, spotless rooms, and perfect location near the beach. But the biggest change was at reception: the gentleman who welcomed me was super friendly, helpful, and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. It’s amazing how much a warm smile and kind attitude can elevate the whole stay. This hotel is very good due to its location and very friendly staff. The hotel itself is very modern and of a high standard. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The food quality in the restaurant is very good and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning in the nice setting next to the pool. The walk into Parga centre is approximately 15 minutes, however we stopped at Mikes bar for a cocktail which was a nice way of breaking up the journey. There is also the option of the little boat taxi which seems to be quite regular. As far as our room was concerned it was just ok. We had a two bedroom apartment which had lovely views to the sea and was quite spacious. There were a few things which let it down. Firstly the bathroom was quite old and dated and could do with modernising. We has a bathtub instead of a shower which meant standing in a bath which had a sloping bottom. It was a little dangerous stepping over the bath edge whilst standing on a slippy sloping surface. I couldn’t figure out how to fill the bath as it seems the water can no longer be diverted from the shower so the bath was useless anyway. Another thing to mention is that there were no full length mirrors anywhere in the apartment which my wife and daughter found to be a problem. The only mirrors available had no plug socket near so using a hairdryer was a challenge. We really loved the hotel and our stay here. We would happily stay here again but maybe would not book the two bedroom apartment.

Nice hotel with good service in Parga. Great location by the beach, but parking can be tricky if you don't find a lucky spot. Pool closed too early and food was just okay, overall good experience but felt overpriced.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, its fresh and modern. Quite clearly had some serious money spent on it. The staff are fantastic and cant do enough to help. However its not without its small problem, there were a few issues which let it down. We booked through TUI, (rated 3☆) and was expecting €2 room tax, but when we got there, its official rating is 4☆. We were there for 3 weeks, we truly didn't expect €210 room tax. This was a massive shock for us. Sunbeds: there aren't enough. If you want one, then get up at 7.30. (Otherwise forget it). Anyway they have hotel beds on the beach so not all's lost. And we actually prefer the beach anyway, However, these are charged at €15~20 per pair. So thats another €300, that we wasn't expecting. With no discount for hotel guests, and no 'eat in our restaurant ' incentive. Then when you do rent a hotel beach sunbed, you can't take your own food & drinks. The pool suffered an algal bloom of some sort. the water was murky green for at least a week to ten days. I wouldn't have let my dog swim in it, let alone guests. Our bathroom had an occasional foul smell. It would be fine for 3 or 4 days, then the next day it would be back. It would just come and go occasionally. I suspected the shower grid. In conclusion: ive no doubt it was rated 4☆ for a valid reason, but im not convinced that it should still be rated 4☆. It's probably the most modern and cleanest greek place we've stayed in, but i've stayed in just as good 3☆ establishments. We had a really nice time, but for what we spent and what we received, it could have been better.

100% recommend! We came here by boat. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and there is a path to the restaurant where there is a shower and a big terrace. The food was delicious, I had grilled prawns and Jake had mussel saganaki. We had bread to start with lovely olive oil. Cocktails are yummy too. Staff were really nice, we waited no time for the food! Overall a 10/10

My family was on the beach and in the restaurant. The beach had a very nice atmosphere and silence, my children could sleep peacefully under the sound of the sea. For dinner we went to the restaurant, where we enjoyed delicious food and pleasant music, the children were delighted. Without a doubt, I can recommend this place.

The restaurant itself has some work to do before reaching a good level. The staff is ok but they have a monopol on the beach and if you don't take lunch at them, will charge you 50 eur (the staff from the beach) or 35 eur(the person from the bar) for sunbeds which is rather unprofessional becasue they just randomise the price on the spot. This is very unreasonable considering that most of the people will eat anyway or drink something at the bar. It's not ok to force the people to have lunch (the food should be more quality because we had bad salad on the plate). If you have lunch they will charge you 25 eur on the sunbeds set.

Best ice coffee I’ve had on the whole trip. A bit pricy but expected. Nothing beats a succulent tender chicken souvlaki on a white sand beach!

Very nice beach with amazing scenery and turquoise water. There’s a little cocktail boat bar and paddle boards for rent. The walk through the water is absolutely worth it. I have to warn you however there are no sunbeds or restaurants. Also you have to be careful to not leave your food, because the local goats will eat it. Worth it for a family

It's a very interesting beach because it's on an island, so you have to go through the water to get there. The beach is pebbly and the water is shallow. It's very good for swimming and snorkelling. There is another small beach close by, which is accessible via a trail through the woods. It is also very beautiful. The main attraction is the goats that live there and are very friendly with tourists.

Perfect for kids. The middle beach area is the best with sand on the bottom. The right one is less crowded, excellent for padl boarding. You have to walk through the water to get to the beach area. It is reachable by boat.

Nice beach, nothing special. Nice walkable pass between the land and an island. Be careful of the goats! They come from the ambush and eat everything eatable you have taken with you on the beach. When they are in a feeding frenzy they don't give a damn about anything around them. Really anoying moment on the island. They show up from nothing.

The two stars are for the natural environment and the experience of going to an island on foot...Other than that, you are in for an unpleasant surprise...the beach is dirty, the path to the second beach is filthy and filled with used paper towels after people wiped you know what...This alone makes you feel that sand and sea are also dirty...It's a shame...Avoid at all costs it really isn't worth it as there are so many (much better) options...

The beach is long, sandy, and wild, with an extended shallow area and warm, calm waters. The surroundings are sandy dunes, making it feel as if you are swimming in the middle of the Sahara Desert. Complete tranquility, few people, and completely undeveloped – the area is spacious and open.

Found this gem with my wife, and boy are we glad. Probably the best sandy beach yet, the beach has to be about 2.5 miles long. Wide beaches , plenty of chairs and nice little waves. Horses too, if you like riding , views are spectacular

Beautiful, long sandy beach. If you prefer, there are sunbeds available, but if you’d rather have more privacy, just walk a little further and you’ll easily find the perfect spot. It’s easily accessible by car, with plenty of parking and no issues at all. The water is clear and calm, and there’s so much space - it never feels crowded. I came here twice during my stay in Corfu and absolutely loved it.

Great large beach with normal sand, no rocks. Ideal for kids, first 50mtr only 1 mtr deep. Good (free) parking facilities and only few minutes (flat)walk to the beach. The entire east coast has poor swimming facilities with dirty water. Best places are found here at the west coast and Issos Beach is one of the best. You can rent 2 sunbeds and a parasol for 15 euro a day.

The place is amazing, full of history, and it has a very unique charm. The only thing I missed was a little shop or a refreshment stand… The area is quite large, so I would have appreciated some place to buy water or a small snack😊

We visited Butrint National Park and were truly impressed – it’s a beautiful and enchanting place full of history. However, I left with the feeling that more investment is needed in the park. There’s still so much to be discovered, with some monuments partially buried or even underwater. It’s a site with huge potential that deserves more preservation and attention. I also think guided tours inside the park would be a great addition – I would happily pay to learn more about its rich and fascinating history!

I was hesitant to visit because of the summer heat, but the park is surprisingly shaded, and there's a lovely breeze from the water that keeps things comfortable. The archaeological site is fascinating, with explanations at each part of the monument to guide you through. It takes about an hour to walk around, and while some paths are a bit steep, it’s manageable, just be sure to wear good shoes. The views are stunning, especially from the acropolis. Don’t miss the walk up, it gives you a breathtaking view of the entire site.

Well worth the visit. The ancient city has a ton of history from greek, roman, ottoman and venetian times. Mix of ancient ruins and more recent castles. Unfortunately no turtles there in early October

Very interesting peninsula with many ruins of Ancient Greek, Roman and Medieval structures, highlighting the historic meaning of Butrint. The visit takes about 2-3 hours and despite the heat, it was still manageable thanks to the abundance of shade. Highly recommended to visit when you are in the south of Albania

Lovely place to walk and visit with a lot of history! As you spend some time here, would have been nice to be able to get a drink or a snack but there was no place to get at least a bottle of water. Make sure you bring something to drink or snack with you.

Fascinating place if you like history. I walked here one morning (slightly accidental as I was only supposed to stroll to the bay near my hotel but missed my turn). Spent a couple of hours wandering around the old ruins. It’s lot bigger than I expected and well worth the 1000 lek/10€. Traffic was gridlocked at the entrance / little ferry when I left though. Pleased I walked it despite the heat. It’s worth parking at the top in car park over looking the bay and walking the last bit

I recommend having a tour guide give you the history of this place. The statues around the villa are awesome. Give yourself an hour maybe a little more to go through this site.

Unfortunately the Palace itself was closed for renovations during our visit. However, we were able to explore the grounds which are beautiful and have amazing views. Disappointing we had to pay full entry fee for half of the experience.

Nice gardens, spectacular views and the gardens refurbishment is looking good. The building is not much more than 100 years old and is currently closed. The building must have looked impressive in it's heyday but has been neglected for a long time so is in a really poor state of repair. I felt quite sad to see it like this and expect a lot of time, money and skill will be needed to bring it back to it's former glory. Worth a visit but manage your expectations accordingly.

Beautiful place to visit and visit the Muses, as well as Achilles. ❤️ The building itself is currently being updated though, so you can't go in. The Gardens and statues are absolutely gorgeous though and it overlooks the city in the distance.

The garden was beautiful. Unfortunately the place is closed due to refurbishment. But there are couple of screens set up around the gardens where you can watch history of Sissi. You have to go and see massive statue of Achilles with a stunning view that will leave you speechless. Tickets for adult was €7 (only garden)

Tickets cost €10. Admission is free for those under 25 :) I would definitely recommend. In early September there were no queues there. The fortress is very large. But with a quick walk you can get around it in 45 minutes including climbing the hill. Nice view of the harbor and Corfu Town.

This is oldest out of two fortresses that Corfu has. It will give you a nice bird eye view on old city and harbor. The hike up is relatively easy, but be careful the stones that make a trail up is quite slippery and I assume could be quite challenging if wet. So make sure that you have a comfortable footwear that are nonslippery. The fortres has a Cafe and restrooms where you can take a rest. The cost is €10

If you visit in the morning, it’s quieter and less hot, but sunset is magical too, with the warm light hitting the stone walls and the town below glowing in golden tones. Overall, the Old Fortress is a must-see for anyone visiting Corfu. Whether you love history, architecture, photography, or just a good view, it delivers on all fronts. Ten euros for a walk through centuries of history and some of the best vistas in Greece is a bargain — and an experience you’ll remember long after you leave.

Tickets cost €10. Admission is free for those under 25 :) I would definitely recommend. In early September there were no queues there. The fortress is very large. But with a quick walk you can get around it in 45 minutes including climbing the hill. Nice view of the harbor and Corfu Town.

This is oldest out of two fortresses that Corfu has. It will give you a nice bird eye view on old city and harbor. The hike up is relatively easy, but be careful the stones that make a trail up is quite slippery and I assume could be quite challenging if wet. So make sure that you have a comfortable footwear that are nonslippery. The fortres has a Cafe and restrooms where you can take a rest. The cost is €10

Visited this beautiful castle with my fiance, to watch the sun set over Saranda, it didn't disappoint absolutely stunning, enjoyed a glass of wine which I topped up with lemon soda. Perfect end to our holiday to Albania. We didn't eat here this time as we had already eaten but the pizzas looked lovely so we will be sure to try them on our next visit.

Perched atop the hills overlooking Saranda, Lekursi Castle offered one of the most spectacular views I’ve ever experienced. From up there, I could see the sparkling Ionian Sea, the city below, and the surrounding islands, all creating a breathtaking panorama that felt almost magical. Exploring the castle ruins, I was fascinated by the history and the stories these walls must hold. The on-site café made it easy to relax while taking in the scenery, adding to the charm of the visit. Lekursi Castle wasn’t just a historic site—it was a stunning viewpoint and a truly unforgettable highlight of my trip.

Beautiful venue at the top of a mountain with the most fantastic view of the sunset. Generally everything was lovely, we all had good food, if slightly expensive compared to everywhere else …except I became unwell overnight from what I suspect was bad seafood pasta. It was probably only one seafood bit, as my reaction wasn’t too violent nor immediate, but it got me overnight and I was down for the next 2 days.

Beautiful views from the lower balconies – definitely the highlight of this place. The restaurant itself is not halal and the food is overpriced, but you’re really paying for the location and scenery. I’d recommend arriving at least 1 hour before sunset (2 hours if you want the best seats) to secure a good spot. Drinks are also on the expensive side. We had a margarita pizza and a few drinks before heading elsewhere for dinner. Overall, the views are absolutely amazing and worth experiencing at least once- but save yourself for dinner elsewhere.

I ate dinner at a castle with a pink sunset! This castle wasn’t what you would expect to be as a castle. It’s more of an outdoor venue for dining, concerts and performances. You can’t vest the view! The service here was impeccable. The food delicious, the wine even better. Parking is hard to find. We took a taxi up there. If you plan to take the bus, that looked a little shady.

We went there for the view, it was amazing, worth visiting. We could admire the walls of the castle, but there is a restaurant inside and it affects the original look. The restaurant itself looked nice, but we haven't eaten anything there. The castle is accessible by car until the gates

A place to meet the sunset in romantic atmosphere! Food for all tastes. If you one a bit luxury dinner its there and a bit further there is also a pizza place, but still with the same beautiful view. As also you can get only drinks, and still enjoy the sunset!

Little bit difficult to reach this beach via narrow path from main road - about 30-40 min walking. The entrance to the Gjipe canyon directly from the beach trough the "camp" place. The nice walk into canyon untill the first more difficult big stone obstacle cca 600 (800)m from the beach - unfortunately with the broken climber rope = finish = no way to proceed.

Cons: mandatory paid parking (400lek) , and the campsite and few businesses around the area have massive amounts of trash at the bottom of the bay ( it does seem like they’re slowly working on taking it out after tourism season) , and it got pretty crowded as of October 20th by late morning/ early afternoon. Pretty low dangling electric line as well dropped across the whole beach Pros: it’s a nice beach, with nice rocks/ canyon behind it

We parked for just 4 euros in September, plenty of spots since we arrived early and hiked down about 20 minutes to the beach. The trail's rocky and uneven with all sorts of stones, so sturdy sneakers are a smart move to keep it comfortable. The beach itself is a dream: pristine and peaceful, with rentable sunbeds (we brought our own and set up near the caves at the far end for that secluded vibe). The water is breathtakingly clear and inviting, perfect for a refreshing swim. There's a cozy restaurant with reasonable prices, public bathrooms, and a little bar for easy drinks. Campers with tents dotted the area, adding to the laid-back scene, and if you're feeling adventurous, you can explore the nearby canyon hike. Head back before dark, the uphill climb takes 30-40 minutes and feels tougher, but we got lucky when a kind local in a jeep offered us a free lift to the top (we tipped him gratefully for the save). An unforgettable spot that's absolutely worth the effort. Highly recommend!

Just a wonderful place. Crystal clear water and breathtaking views. A little difficult to get to (you have to walk about 30 minutes on a rocky road and the scorching sun). It is very crowded in the season but there is plenty of space if you arrive in the morning. There is a bar on the beach. Before the descent there is a large paid parking lot where you can leave your car.

The only reason to go there is to combine hiking and beach, as there is an access to canyon which is beautiful. The beach is okey, the water was nothing special- we stay in Himare - the colors and quality of water much better. The view from the water to the canyon is beautiful. If you ask me, will I go again - my answer is no. 1) the road On the map the road leads directly to the beach. It does. But last 15 min it is very very bad , big stones, very narrow, on the slope, without any side barriers. We parked the care on the big parking spot, paid 4 euro. Then you go down this road by food ( take your sport shoes on). 2) expansive It was not crazy busy, we came at 15:00. Took a sunbads - 20 euro. There is no shower. So I think for that reason it is overpriced. 3) dirty There are a lot of campers. Who apparently contributed to the big dump and all that trash that lays on the back of the beach. 4) rude ppl who work at the “cafe” cafe looks like abandon barn. Ppl who work there are quite rude. My advice: you can enter the canyon from the road side, have a hike till the beach, stay at the sea, and return without all that experience.

While it's certainly beautiful and quite unique naturewise, the quantity of people there during summer is ridiculous. The beach itself is public though you can rent sunbeds etc. It's super crowded, people partying with loud music, and party boats passing by. Heaps of aggressive wasps and rubbish. Parking is chaotic and private (4€-8€ for a car), and the narrow access road makes getting there or leaving almost impossible during rush hour. Keep in mind that you'll have to walk 20min downhill to get there.

The beach is great and clean but the road down to it is very challenging. If you don't have an off road car, you have to walk to get to the beach and park the car at the parking on the hill. If you have an off road car, note that the road has a lot of stones and no side protection barriers. It's very difficult when 2 cars are exchanged because the road is narrow. The canyon is an extra beauty added.

Horrible beach with sharp stones, the kid responsible for the parking lot wanted to get in my car and park it for me, which was absurd to begin with. Of course I told him there is no chance of that ever happening, he got offended and then made a comment about my car being nothing special. Which was really funny since it’s a new car worth more than his salary over the next decade. Strongly reccomend to stay away from this mess.

It's not worth it for 20e for umbrella Very dirty old beds too much cigare around the beach and beds. We paid 750lek for two coffee and one water. This price it's not even in a the most expensive place in the Vlore. The shower not working no water even in the toilets The stuff are kindly and only Albanian language speak 😳

20€ for a umbrella with two seats, the whole area was full of trash and cigarette tips, dirty. Probably not have been cleaned in a week or so!!!! Not coming back!!!

Nice beach and cristal clear sea. Set of sunbeds with umbrella 15eur and plus parking ( 2eur for balkan countries, 3eur if you are an italian :-D )
