A quick photographic opportunity on a flying visit whilst exploring the Costa Brava. We parked about a 10-15 minute walk further inland, stopped for an ice-cream, which considering it's the height of the peak summer season was at a price one can expect €9 for two ice creams and a bottle of water. The beach was crowded. So we decided to walk around the castle walls and take a couple of photos.

A must-visit historical site, rich with culture and stories from the past. The area is lively and full of charm, with plenty of souvenir shops, ice cream stands, and restaurants—perfect for a relaxed day trip. K-drama fans will especially appreciate this spot as a famous lookout point featured in The Legend of the Blue Sea (Lee Min Ho, Jun Ji Hyun) We were lucky to enjoy the stunning scenery on a beautiful day, which made the experience even more memorable.

It's not a particularly special attraction, and the beach along the coast isn't very long or large as compared with LA, Thailand or others. There are a number of restaurants and small shops, though. Honestly, it's definitely not a must-see. If you have more time in Barcelona, ​​it's worth considering.

What a picturesque place to be . Very easy uphill hike . Well marked . Amazing views of Mediterranean Sea on your left and beautiful beach line and town on the other , you just can’t miss this lovely hike. Carry some water , hat and also a light jacket . We went around 17.30 and it was a nice sunny day of 15th May 2025 . Yet the wind on the top was so gusty that I had to put in my hoodie to keep myself warm . The weather was pleasant but wind will sweep you off your feet. You see great views from top and also cute village lanes to walk at some points. You will come across beautiful statues and also the light house. The lighthouse opens in stipulated timings . We could not enter but see from outside . Views from that point are extra ordinary. Spring brought several wild flowers blooming and made the views and rocks look more beautiful

Tossa De Mar is a classy town, and if you go, amble through the streets and then ascend by the steps in town or by the beach. The climb is steady, and there are stunning views all round. The lighthouse at the top is well worth the extra steps with the stunning vista at the top is unforgettable.

Beautiful landscape and place to visit. Highly recommend. Love fairly easy hike to the top of the castle with a lovely restaurant to take a break and enjoy the views…

In March the water looks so clean! The view is absolutely beautiful. The bad thing is that there is a lot of trash in beach it would be nice to clean it up.

Nice beach looks like sand but is made up of small little rocks. Be careful with children. The sea becomes deep after a few meters, and waves are strong. Don't hire the rip-off sunloungers there €8 each plus €8 for umbrella! Bring a towel/blanket instead. Beach gets very busy on sunny days. There are some free public toilets, but be ready to see some dirty supprises in them like I did! 🤮

Great Beach This is beach is quite narrow compared to other beaches in Spain but it is very long. This is also packed in summer almost unbearable, but in winter (and the off season) is amazing and really nice. It has all the amenities you could expect and is super close to lots of bars and restaurants.

Beautiful beach! Lots of cute fishies to see under the water. The water is nice and very clear, but in some areas it’s a bit murky and polluted. Every morning (very early) a huge machine goes around the beach to clean everything. Every now and then I spotted a jellyfish, but no dangerous ones. Beware! There are currently no showers at the beach, if you want to clean yourself, you can bring a cup and some water from the tab near the toilets. The beach is made out of small rocks, which is fine, but it can get quite hot in the sun. (Ps. Using wedge heels or shoes with thick soles is great to avoid the rocks) near the beach there are small kiosk shaped buildings who sell great slush or ice cream. The beach is quite busy, near the castle it’s a bit more calm. On the completely other side there is a spot with very low water (last video), which is great for kids!

A family trip with children. Beautiful beach. Accommodation and food can be expensive in high season. But clean water and clean beach. Felt very safe there. Water world is 15 minutes away if anyone fancies. Will travel there again.

This beach is very Nice and peaceful for family or friends . There are sun loungers and parasols available for rent on-site for 8€ each. The water is clear, and there is parking available, but it fills up quickly, so it's better to arrive early to find a spot. I highly recommend it

This outlet has a great selection of stores, offering a variety of brands. Sometimes it feels like the prices aren’t discounted much, but if you look carefully, you can find some excellent deals. Each store also handles VAT refunds, which is very convenient for travelers. There’s a spacious underground parking lot with electric car charging stations, making it easy to visit by car. I wouldn’t recommend coming here hungry, though – the restaurants are quite poor and always crowded, so you’ll likely spend a long time waiting in line. Overall, for shopping, this is a fantastic place and probably the best outlet experience near Barcelona.

La Roca Village is a factory outlet located just a 30-minute drive from Barcelona. You can reach it by taking bus 405 from Ectacion Barcelona Nord for €18 round trip. Like its other sister company, under the Bicester Collection, I recommend this factory outlet because it houses many well-known, exclusive brands. The items available are seasonal and vary depending on individual tastes. Some stores sell their products at the same prices as their store on Passeig de Gràcia, but don't worry, they only carry select classics. If you're lucky, you might find products at very low special prices. Try your luck!

Very nice outlet where you can find affordable designers' brands for all ages. There are many busses going from Barcelona to this outlet every hour so it's easy to access it even if it's far from the center of Barcelona.

Visiting the Sagrada Família was honestly one of the highlights of my trip. You see photos everywhere, but nothing compares to standing in front of it and realizing how enormous and detailed it really is. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, construction started in 1882 and it’s still not finished but it's coming to an end. There’s something amazing about seeing a building that’s been growing for more than a century and continues to evolve with each generation continuing Gaudi's vision. Every part of it tells a story: the Nativity Façade is full of life and nature, while the Passion Façade is dramatic and emotional. Inside, the light through the stained-glass windows looks magical — it changes color throughout the day and fills the space with warmth, peace and wonderful colours. Even with all the crowds, the atmosphere is calm and awe-inspiring. It really feels like a place where art, faith, and nature come together. It's one of the most beautiful landmarks on the world. Book tickets online in advance and go early in the morning if you want to avoid long lines. And if you can, climb one of the towers — the view over Barcelona is unforgettable.

Visiting the Sagrada Família is an unforgettable experience and an absolute must-see in Barcelona.

The Sagrada Familia is incredible. We did a guided tour which was great for a couple reasons. One, we got to walk pass the line with our guide which saved us time. Also, our guide was able to give us so many details about the structure we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. We went during the Golden Hour, which is when the sun is setting and the light shines through the stain glass, creating a Golden light. The details in the structure from the outside to the inside is spectacular. Highly recommend getting tickets way in advance so you don't miss out on the Sagrada Familia.

We had a guided tour. We don't normally do this but in this case it was necessary. The guide was informative amusing and personable. As for the Sagrada Familia itself, quite simply WOW! It was everything we had been told and so much more. The explanations of Gaudi's reasoning for the various aspects of the design brought the whole building into focus. It is truly an experience. The company we used was The Tour Guy. If all their guides are as good as ours you cannot go wrong. It may seem costly but IMHO it's worth it.

When in Barcelona, you have to visit the masterpiece of Gaudí. Book your tickets in advance and also get a guided tour. It will be a tour of around two hrs and your guide will explain about each and everything. This place is not just a church it’s a masterpiece of human kind. This place is an experience that you must do. I will recommend to visit either early in morning at the time of sunrise or in evening around 4pm at sunset. You will experience the place at its best and you will able to see the importance of time and light in the church. It’s the best architecture i have ever seen. Must book your tickets at-least 20 days in advance and also choose the tower access for the best views in city.

You can buy tickets to view Barcelona from the top or visit the basement for more history and the gift shop. Unlike any church or basilica you will see.

Magnificent structure! I have visited Barcelona three times, and during my second visit, I had the chance to explore the interior as well. Both the inside and outside are truly unique. It’s an amazing experience to examine the figures on the exterior one by one. The ticket includes an audio guide, and by downloading the Sagrada Familia app to your phone, you can access a step-by-step audio guide that explains both the exterior and interior of the building. By the way, I recommend purchasing your ticket a week or two before your trip.

Famous long street in Barcelona, full of gems, located in the center of city and you can easily access it by any transportation methods. Surrounded by famous restaurants, branded shops, museums , markets etc. Be careful of your belongings since it’s also famous for their pickpockets.

This road is the heart of Barcelona, you can find anything, close to Barceloneta too. But it's unsafe to walk there after 9 o'clock in the night and I don't recommend to book your stay close to this street. Best time to visit is morning hours and ofcourse winter motnhs that nit many people go like the summer.

Must visit. So many things to see, eat and do on one street but be careful as this can also be a tourist trap where prices are hiked. Don’t settle for the 1st thing you see, try another.

Well-made audio guide and efficient organization at the entrance. The house is wonderful, allowing you to fully discover Gaudí’s art. The ticket is a bit expensive (€36 for the Silver route). By choosing the Silver ticket, you also get access to the terrace with its colorful chimneys. Overall, a positive visiting experience.

I went there twice already, once by day and the other time by night and the magic just never ends. Gaudi must have had a lot of fun designing this mysterious world into a house and it amazes me how he managed to make it possible. By night, the windows and sea life details create this enchanting atmosphere throughout the visit. I cannot recommend this architectural gem enough!!

Casa Batlló absolutely blew me away — it feels like stepping into a living, breathing piece of art. Gaudí’s imagination is on full display, from the flowing, nature-inspired interiors to the colorful mosaic façade that changes with the light. The rooftop, shaped like a dragon’s spine, is just unforgettable. It’s one of those places where every detail surprises you — truly magical.

This house cannot be properly understood without going in. During the night I find it even more magical as you can really see how light plays a most important part in it's architecture. I was awed and actually didn't even want to go at first, but all the details took my breath away. The style is different inside and outside, so even if you're not a fan of Gaudi, give yourself a chance to go in. It is 100% worth it. And there's 100% accessibility! Elevators on request but to all floors.

Visiting Casa Batlló was one of the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. Here you can see Gaudí’s creativity up close- the flowing shapes, colorful mosaics, his vision and talent in every detail. The house was redesigned by Antoni Gaudí in the early 1900s for the Batlló family and is a perfect example of Catalan modernism. Every detail — from the wavy staircases to the vibrant tiles — is inspired by nature. The rooftop, shaped like a dragon’s back, offers great views over Passeig de Gràcia. I booked tickets online (around €30–€35) and still waited about 20–30 minutes to get in, so I’d definitely recommend buying skip-the-line tickets or going early in the morning. Inside, the audio guide is fantastic and really helps you understand Gaudí’s vision and his use of light and ventilation in every room. It’s busy, but completely worth it. I am not big fan of this type of art or architecture however it was an unforgettable experience.

The buildings are great, but you can see them from the street, from the main entrance, so it's not worth buying a ticket. It's true that the park has other beautiful places than the well known Gaudi's buildings, but we wanted to visit it for this only reason and we left disappointed

If Gaudi knew his masterpieces would be turned into a tourist trap THIRSTING for money, he would be disgusted. I bought the tickets. Had an accident, couldn't attend exactly at the time that I had scheduled the tickets. They couldn't do anything. Not even get me a discount. Come on, do better. Ok, bought new tickets. The park is interesting, Gaudi never misses. Is it worth it paying 18 euros? Of course not. Stand outside the gates and you will see 95% of everything worth seeing. The workers are unprepared. There are so many nice things to see in Barcelona, if you don't have a lot of time, don't bother coming here.

Nice place to go for a walk, because in the city there is not much of a green areas around. But be aware that there is a lot of stairs in the park. So if you are coming with a stroller, that could be a challenge for you. Also be ready for a lot of people. It was difficult to find a quiet spot around the park. You can see nice architecture and if you are lucky you can find a spot on the sun and just relax for a bit.

Make sure to buy your tickets online beforehand or you likely won’t get in. Entrance fee is a little steep for what it is but nevertheless, still a great Gaudi experience. The place gets overly crowded so that definitely takes away from the overall experience.

We found the place amazingly innovating and also harmonically beautiful. Gaudi created a wonderous living space, full of hidden spots, making the journey delightful. I recommend booking a tour guide, as this adds to the whole experiance!

Was a very interesting place to walk around to see Gaudí genius at work. However, it can’t match up with his other masterpiece, Sagrada Família. Nothing much does. Not even close ! In my opinion but worth a walk through but beware it’s 18 Eyries each overall around and some of the inside park attractions are extra. I added some pics of the more popular spots in this park. Park Güell is a breathtaking place to visit! It’s definitely a must-see location during your visit to Barcelona!!! The unique architecture, colorful mosaics, and beautiful natural surroundings makes the whole experience unforgettable. The views of Barcelona from the park are stunning,l! Honestly, every corner of the park feels magical. The park perfectly captures Gaudí’s creativity and charm. I visited the park with a walking tour, which was amazing and worth every penny!

Our accommodation was only a 15-minute walk from Camp Nou, so even though it wasn’t part of our original plan, we decided to visit. Unfortunately, our travel dates didn’t match any match days, but it was still worth walking around the stadium, and especially visiting the official Barça merchandise store. Some people say there’s no need to come all the way here because the Barça stores in central Barcelona are cheaper and easier to access. But I disagree. This place is HUGE. A three-story building with practically everything you could imagine. You can find classic replica kits like the 94–95 away jersey, as well as Nike Dri-FIT official sponsor versions. There’s a wide variety of caps, bags, and other accessories too. The staff were all very friendly. You can even see Messi’s autographed jersey and captain’s armband. If you want, you can buy the replicas, just for €2,999.99 and €1,999.99 respectively. There’s also a café and a nice rest area, so if you’re visiting Barcelona and a football fan, I highly recommend stopping by this legendary place. + You can find drinks with Barça packaging for more generous price at supermarkets in the city center.

When I went it was under construction so I didn't get the full experience. If you would like to go just make sure if these works are done or not yet. Actually the stadium is not that astonishing but if you are a Barcelona fan then obviously you'll get in love with 😅

Very nice experience. The interactive museum is well made, got to see many iconic items on display. Thought not very big still a nice tour especially if you like the FC Barcelona team. I highly recommend you book your tickets before arriving. Also, better to book an early time visit as the line and waiting time tend to get longer.

It was a good experience visiting the stadium and the museum, however since the stadium is under construction at the moment it wasn't possible to feel the right energy. Once everything is completed i believe that i will give it 5 stars!

I’ve seen some complaints, but honestly -the stadium’s under renovation, not a secret! What did you expect, a VIP tour of cranes and concrete? The real magic is the feeling of Barça itself , the history, trophies, jerseys, and spirit. The interactive legends show gave me chills, and Messi’s iconic celebration against Madrid next to his golden shoes nearly broke my heart . Paid under €100 for two tickets Worth every cent. Can’t wait for the reopening! Visca el Barça!

Nou Camp, is a stadium in Barcelona and the home of La Liga club FC Barcelona since its opening in 1957. It is currently undergoing renovation, and with a planned increased seating capacity of 105,000[10] it will be the largest stadium in terms of seating capacity in Spain and Europe, and the third largest association football stadium in the world.

Was under construction, but still amazing, the trophy museum is a must too. Couldn’t go inside the stadium but there’s a construction viewpoint where you can see it from the outside but closer up. If visiting the stadium itself, get tickets of course, but for the trophy museum, you can purchase when you reach.

superb ski resort. huge amount of runs to do catering for all abilities. definitely need a good amount of snow as some runs shut due to conditions when there however I have been there when loads of snow it's amazing and picturesque

On a week's ski holiday, snowed before we arrived so really good conditions. Off peak season so no long queues for lifts, just ski down and on lift immediately. Great ski holiday, pistes are well groomed and in great condition.

A must place to visit for all skills of skiing or snowboarding with terrain suited for all. I've been several years now and the teams do a great job keeping the powder on the slopes. They have schools in which you can learn from beginner or even get tips on improving your skiing or boarding. Personally, I prefer to stay in town Soldeu as it is more adequate with facilities, rental gear, nightlife and access to the slopes. See you next year!

Absolutely brilliant. The group lessons, the private lessons, all superbly led by excellent instructors who know the slopes, know the area and generally get the whole teaching thing. You don't have to doski school but if you do you'll get better and enjoy the skiing more I bet. Don't be scared to do 3 days though, mix in a bit of private and then spend the rest of the time exploring. If you get lost or stuck ... just ask an instructor!

Nice and big ski resort with some nice and long slopes. Snow conditions are probably better middle of the season.

Great resort with friendly, helpful staff, even with the slight lack of snow so far this season (as of 1/1/2019). Runs are well groomed and they have had the snow canons running to help out. The free drink as you wait for the gondola down (hot chocolate, vin chaud or chicken soup) helps make up for the fact you can't currently ski all the way back down.

Beatiful views, nice walking trails, The basilica and Black Madonna are a must when you visit here, you can take the funicular up the mountain from the visitor center. The outside parking is a bit of a walk and costs 7 euros. You can also park under the basilica for 10 euros for the first 3 hours or for 14 euroa for over 3 hours and up to 24 hours. Convenient for those who have trouble walking or finding parking outside.

Beautiful place. Nestled 1500m above Cataluña in the mountains. Makes you wonder, given its location, who could manage to complete such magnificent structures! I was a little late in the day so only ventured half way up to where the Basílica and the shrine is located. You can feel the history/essence in the air as you sit quietly taking in your surroundings. Also, here is where the Virgin Of Montserrat is located. After passing the patron saint of Cataluña, you can choose to veer off and enter a stained glass, oval shaped prayer room. DON'T skip out....well worth taking a seat and just reflecting for a couple of minutes. Family friendly. Lots of outdoor space. The views, well you just have to see for yourself!

Magnifcent monument. Must see. I recomend train from Barça and cable car. You can buy combined ticket. Easy. Tickets for Basilica and other are available on spot without waiting. At 13.00 hrs every working day there is a short concert from Boys choir. Must se and listen. It's beautifull. Like Walking on clouds. After you must touch the Earth in Black Madona right hand. At last I recenzent visita a wiewpoint at St. Mathew's cross. On spot can be chilly. This is the place that I'll deffinetly visit again.

One of the most beautiful places I have visited in Barcelona Spain! Highly recommend everyone to come! We took the train cable car up to the mountain! Not many tourists were there! The views are absolutely breathtaking The cathedral was sooo beautiful and peaceful! ☺️

We went here on a tour and I was so happy we did. I loved it that the vendors as you approach the monastery are descendants of those who sold the same cheeses and products decades if not eons ago. The Black Madonna was an inspiring experience and we really enjoyed the art museum as well. I have never seen it even referenced but it was amazing.

This is a must-do day trip! We booked a small group tour via Viator. Our guide, a local, took us by train to Montserrat station, where we then took a cable car to the summit of the mountain. She gave us a great tour. We saw and were able to touch the black Madonna. We hiked to the St. Michael cross and were blown away by the views!

Had a great experience visiting Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey! The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the place had such a peaceful and spiritual vibe. It’s one of those spots where you really feel connected to nature and history at the same time. Definitely worth the trip if you’re visiting Barcelona! ⛰️🙏

Sitges Beach is a beautiful, lively spot just outside Barcelona, known for its clean sand, clear waters, and relaxed atmosphere. The beach is very well-kept and offers plenty of space to relax or take a swim. One of its biggest highlights is the great selection of bars and restaurants just steps away — perfect for grabbing a cocktail, tapas, or a full meal without leaving the seaside vibe. Whether you're looking for a chill beach day or a more social, vibrant experience, Sitges Beach has a lot to offer.

This have automatically became one of my favorite beach. It's only 35 mins away from Barcelona by train. The water is so clean. You can definitely have an amazing time to chill and enjoy. I will definitely come back again;)

One of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever visited crystal-clear water and soft, sandy shores with no need for water shoes. As tourists, we didn’t come prepared with umbrellas or beach chairs. While mats were available from local vendors, we opted to rent two chairs and two umbrellas for €40. It was a full-day rental, so definitely worth the price. There are open showers for rinsing, but no public toilets. The beach itself is stunning, full of vibrant culture, and absolutely worth the day trip.

Sitges has that rare balance of art, sea breeze, and sunshine a place where you can feel both the joy of life and the quiet of your own thoughts. Has one of the most charming coastlines I’ve ever explored. I rode my bike along the seaside path, and every curve revealed a new kind of beauty long winding beaches, hidden coves, and little bays where different groups of people relax in their own rhythm. Some spots feel lively and social, others perfectly calm. From the beaches all the way to the old church by the castle, there are countless cafés and restaurants to stop by. I loved walking here morning and evening the light, the sound, the pace of life all change with time. Absolutely stunning and so refreshing during the heat wave! The taxi system is well organized, and even during high season, it wasn’t too crowded. Aigüestortes is a beautiful high mountain National Park in Catalonia. Dotted with lakes, pinewoods and mountain pastures, craggy peaks, waterfalls, mountain streams; there's always a photo to take and a view to enjoy. Nature enthusiasts may enthuse about the Pyrenean Chamois, Alpine Marmot, Red Squirrel, orchids, butterflies and wild flowers, especially in late spring and early summer. When I visit nowadays it's usually leading a birding group on a Birding In Spain tour. Over the years I've seen most of the birds of the high mountains that are supposed to be here, although some of them can be quite challenging to set eyes on, and I still haven't seen a Rock Ptarmigan. Western Capercaillie are declining but still present; Black Woodpeckers are pretty thin on the ground although I have seen them in two general areas within the park; for Alpine Accentors and Wallcreepers you have to get higher than we usually go on our tours. Even if you don't see those more difficult birds, you still have a good chance with a pretty good selection of mountain birds such as Bearded Vulture, Common Rock Thrush, Ring Ouzel, Alpine Chough, Citril Finch, Crossbill, Water Pipit, White-throated Dipper, Red-backed Shrike, Short-toed Snake Eagle, Egyptian Vulture, Booted Eagle, and others. If you're not one for trekking you have the option of taking one of the 4-wheel taxis which operate from Espot into the park. In Espot itself there is a good selection of hotels and restaurants, plus shops and a National Park visitor centre.

The park is really magnificent with plenty of great views. There are several options for day hikes. In order to reach some of the hikes you need to use a designated taxi service (from Espot), which can be quite expensive.

Very beautiful, the hike from the parking place take an around 1 hour. you can walk around the lake and see those amazing waterfalls, or continue hiking up which is also very nice. definitely one of my favourite hikes

Fantastic Day Out at the Water Park We had a fab day out—our kids absolutely loved it! We chose to go on a slightly cloudy day, which worked out perfectly for our youngest (age 5), as it made the heat more bearable. As expected during peak season, the queues were long—around 60 minutes for the popular attractions—but that’s to be expected in August. The park itself was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of facilities including toilets, lockers, and lots of food and drink options. For lunch, we spent €85 for our family of five. That included 3 junior meals (pizza, chips, pudding, and a drink) and 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and chicken & chips). Food was decent, and service was efficient. Overall, a great family day out. The kids had a blast and will definitely sleep well tonight.

Amazing amusement park! Would definitely go back sometime. The best advice is to buy express pass, as the waiting time for each attraction is between 40-60 minutes. We have visited the park on 16th October and it was so so crowded

PortAventura is full of variety and well worth the visit — but a little planning makes the day smoother with a tip. Bring a refillable bottle, as there are fountains around the park to top up. You’ll need at least 5–6 hours to cover the rides, especially with waiting times. The Express Pass really depends on when you go — we visited on a Tuesday at the end of September and rarely waited more than 30 minutes, though some rides did creep up to 50+ minutes at peak times. A good tip is to go for rides during or just after typical lunch hours, when queues are often much shorter.

Love this theme park . One of the best actual themed parks I've been too . The rides are all amazing. Although have to say was a bit disappointed with uncharted...it could have been so much better. The AR mine train was amazing with the serpents flying over your head. Not been here for 10 years and didn't see many changes or new rides since last time. But still great and my 5 time here

Fantastic Port Aventura World This park has incredible rides, we loved it with my son. Our favourite was Furious Baco ! It was the 1st of January this year, so was not too crowded and a FANTASTIC way for us to begin the year. We will back we loved this park!

Great place with many joyful experiences. There are thrills for all desires. Definitely advise to visit if you like rollercoasters and other exciting experiences. Best to go there in off-season when kids are back to school to avoid long queues. If attending during holiday breaks definitely think about express pass to enjoy there rides and not standing in wait.

Parking was 12 euros. Toilets aren't too far away from each other. Food is very expensive, 12 eur for a hotdog. Park is really big, it takes 20 minutes of walking to reach the opposite side of the park, loads of different themes which is very exciting to look at! Ferrari land has HUGE lines, highly recommend getting pass ticket for the main ride since we waited for almost 5 hours... Overall, the park is really nice and there's much to see x)

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.

Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!

We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Very “tired” building. A lot of facilities didn’t work, the interior looks like you are in the middle of the construction work. They need to repair everything. Stuff was unexpectedly rude. The nature outside is great.

Although we live 75kms from Loudenvielle, we used to love a weekly visit to Balnea. We used to love the pampering - white towels and Prija shower gel included in the service - Japanese baths heated to 40°C - peaceful silence throughout. Gone now are these little things that made our visits so relaxing and worth while. Gone are the white towels included in the entry price. Gone too is the shower gel and the obligation to shower before getting into the baths. Gone is our favourite feature - the Japanese bath at 40°C (now heated to a mere 36°C). We gave Balnea one last visit recently - the chatter and noise everywhere except the saunas was overwhelming; the place was crowded and felt like a public municipal pool facility. A hot shower at home is more therapeutic than the Japanese baths at 36°C. I guess good things never last. Farewell Balnea!

Amazing lunch and lovely spa. Many different themed rooms with varying types of pool/ sauna. Enjoyed the choices, some pools hotter than others. Outside pools have views of the surrounding mountains. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful thermal bath with a great idea - you can travel to Japan or Peru or relax in the Roman baths. The thermal water is great - but some restrictions: Unfortunately, long line in front of the entrance - on a Tuesday outside of the holiday season at 2.45 p.m. The changing rooms are really bad, you don't feel well. You are not allowed to wear flip-flops or take a towel with you into the sauna - that means everyone is sweating on the wood and you have to sit in the sweat of others. The very dark shower room is a major disaster, much too small and not discreet. You can't really take a shower naked and clean yourself before and after the thermal bath, that urgently needs to be changed. Please.

Probably the strangest spa I ever visited… and I did visit many, in multiple countries. There are no deck chairs AT ALL. Not even a single bench or chair to sit on. One can be either in the pool or stand somewhere. Staff asks you to leave EVERYTHING in the locker, including towel, book… or whatever else you might need… NOT a place to relax at all. Money wasted.

The shower was cold, pools outside were cold, pools inside were cold. Sauna was warm. People were shivering walking between pools. They said "it's only 3 degrees cooler in the hot pool" and wouldn't find is any kind of refund. AND you've got to wear speedos. 1/10 would not recommend

This stop was part of our Spanish cooking and hiking holiday with Argon Active. The entire medieval town is interesting. The picture of the wall is to show the ancient river bed that the town is built on. It looks like you can pull out the rocks but you can't.

Magical place, it's like going back in time.

Hidden above the modern town, the medieval heart sits on a hill and is a fantastic place to visit. There is a car park for those who don't have the stamina to walk. The main square has a few restaurants, cafes and tourist gift shops tucked away in the archways. Next to the square there is a small park and the remains of a fortress which offers great views over the old town and the mountains. You can easily spend a couple of hours here.

Its a very nice town, with lovely streets. You can walk around and enjoy the view of this charming town. You have a few souvenir shops and a square with restaurants as well. I would also recommend going to the eco museum nearby about the bearded vultures nearby

Quite nice plaza mayor. Requires a little walking, and not very wheelchair or highheels friendly due to the cobbles.. Has some interesting shops. The restaurants in the plaza are fairly well priced and have a half decent selection of food. The castle at the end is worth walking around for some photo opportunities.

Beautiful old Town. The castle is nearby for a great photo from the top. The town isn't large so easy to see it all in a few hours. Great bars around and good food.

An amazing adventure to Pico Perdido. Solo climbed it from La Pradesa Ordessa via Ruta de Escaleras(5 resaltes), this is a unique route than the normal route via La Escupidera, but for experts only as it involves exposed section, dangerous when climbing without ropes. The summit is wonderful with open views all around.

I absolutely love this place. It has all the ingredients for an optimal encounter between yourself and nature at its best. No matter your age, as long as you can open your eyes, the views and the landscape will take your breath away. Pure oxygen will enter into your lungs with every single step you take while contemplating the creation god has given to us. There are trails for amateurs as well as experience hickers. If you happen to be near this area please do take the time to endulge in nature.

This outstanding mountain landscape, which spans the contemporary national borders of France and Spain, is centred around the peak of Mount Perdu, a calcareous massif that rises to 3,352 m. The site, with a total area of 30,639 ha, includes two of Europe's largest and deepest canyons on the Spanish side and three major cirque walls on the more abrupt northern slopes with France, classic presentations of these geological landforms. The site is also a pastoral landscape reflecting an agricultural way of life that was once widespread in the upland regions of Europe but now survives only in this part of the Pyrénées. The warm welcome by the underground command center personnel was the best part, although the hike is also nice. The static electricity near the transceiver on the surface level is a bit much though.

Great family (2+4) experience! We were extremely pleased with our guide David who guided us in a fun and safe manner. Our youngest girl of 8 years old skipped a few high jumps but was encouraged to expericence the adventure full swing. Exiting and beautiful trip1 Highly recommended.!

Our family had a wonderful day with Javier. It was our 8 year okd’s first time and she whined a fair bit in the beginning about the hiking ascent under the sun but soon all was forgotten as we navigated through the icy river, wading, swimming, climbing and jumping off rocks, crawling and squeezing through crevices. Javier really guided our and another family with 2 kids, serving as human ladder at times to support us. He kept the kids entertained and shared his enthusiasm and the beauty of the surrounding nature. We all had a blast

We had an excellent day canyoning with David in the Formiga canyon. Really exciting and fun while feeling very safe. Very good organisation and communication both in advance and on the day. Highly recommended!

David was a fantastic guide who we had lots of fun with. He knew the canyon and the river incredibly well. He was patient with our kids and they loved having him lead us.

Canyoning in Alquezar is amazing. The trip is very beautifull, the stunning surrounding, refreshing water, (optional) jumps make it the best Canyoning trip we did. And our guide stimulated and helped where neefjes so my 10 year old daighter had the best day!

Peniscola Spain is the beautiful setting for this Castle jewel. It costs 5 euro to tour the Castle and Garden, each. Shoes or sandals with good traction will serve you well as the walk up to the Castle is on very smooth and worn stone steps, walk ways and streets, and dont forget you still have the walk down. This castle is amazing to see in person and has a long and interesting past. Must Visit!

Landmark & Historical Castle This is the Spanish Mont Saint Michel, it is really nice to see and I believe unique in Spain. This Castle sits on the see and looks great from afar. In the town itself you can see a few narrow streets a few restaurants. We enjoyed wandering around here, and can only highly recommend visiting!

Knights Template etc. interesting old town with good photo opportunities. €3.50 entrance to the castle for young and concessions such as over 60, a bit upset they didn't query our age.,€5 for normal entry. Enjoyable couple of hours. Large and steep steps in places. Well worth the visit.

Amazing views to the sea, the pennisula, and the local beaches! The view is the best part of the experience, although, the castle does have a rich history, esp.the story of Pope Luna, and the castle garden was used in the shooting of A Game of Thrones. Sun block is recommended. ☀️🇪🇸🌅

There’s plenty of interesting information about what happened here during medieval times, which makes the visit even more fascinating. The castle is very well maintained, and it’s easy to imagine what life might have been like centuries ago. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Castell de Morella is a must if you’re chasing history with jaw-dropping views. This ancient fortress, perched on a rocky hill, feels like stepping into a medieval saga. Pro tip: visit early morning when it opens at 11 AM to skip any queues—takes about 5-10 minutes max. Entry is just €5, a steal for the climb to Plaza de Armas, where you’ll snap epic photos of Morella’s red rooftops and the Els Ports mountains. Wear comfy shoes for the steep paths, and don’t miss the Convent de Sant Francesc entrance it’s the only way in

It seems like a very big hill to climb to the top of the castle but it's not too bad, for someone like me who hates hills. Amazing views and information plaquards around, €3.50 entrance fee.

It's a little town on the hill, with an ancient church building, though small it's very unique worth to explore even though you may have seen many. The castle on the top is a ruine, ancient but nothing much to see. The streets in the middle of the hill are just like any other Spanish town.

We decided to take a slight detour to see this Monastery and boy it didn't disappoint! Increadible views as we drove up, had to stop a couple of times to take it in. We had a lovely warm and clear day so got some nice pictures with the drone as well. We had a nice gentle walk round, lots of things to look at and read. Couldn't help but feel that some of the site has lost its authenticity due to the rather significant restoration and preservative measures that have been done since its renovation. Still highly recommend though.

So glad we went the drive up is incredible the views are just breathtaking. The new monastery looks very it of place but that's only because you pass the outside of the old first. Both are incredible buildings with such history attached to them. We purchased the book and took the audio guide round which made the experience better.

Buy a ticket at the more modern monestary before driving further down to the older site as they don't sell them there. It is well worth a visit! Gorgeous views if you continue your journey down the mountain

This exquisite monastic building, where the grail was once supposed to be kept, (just copy on display now(see photo)) is cut into the rock on the side of a mountain. You can hike the twenty kilometres up from Jaca ( but bring lots of water in the summer as it's hot and humid) and its well worth the effort. Exterior has immaculate brickwork and windows while the inner church has an atmospheric apse and nave.

One could not have thought that in the middle of the most beautiful scenery one could find this wonderful and unusual museum. A burnt monastery surrounded by history, rescued in the most amazing way. A visit well worth the trip.

Cashing in on a natural wonder! A 30 minute drive from Jaca - a wasted journey. You have to pay to even see the outside! They don't let you park and walk up to see the wonder of the boulder over the monastery. They make you drive all the way up to the new monastery and pay for entry and a shuttle bus to go back down to see it. And at €12 it's not worth it for us! Very disappointing! Tried to take photos so you can see it but sadly they didn't come out well.

Beautiful and really special. You can explore and discover how the monks used to live by walking over the remains of the monastery. White sculptures visually describe monastic life.

A most exquisite building dedicated to Saint Mary who appeared on a pillar which is now enclosed but you can kneel before it and touch part of it. The soaring ceiling and beautiful sculptures are breathtaking. Each of the chapels has its own glorious artworks. The chapel at the back of the church is extraordinary with a separate open roof structure. A true gem.

The Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar in Zaragoza is a breathtaking masterpiece of Baroque architecture and a deeply spiritual landmark. With its grand domes, stunning frescoes by Goya, and peaceful riverside setting, it’s a must-visit for both art and history lovers. Don’t miss the panoramic views from the tower and the nearby Puente de Piedra for perfect photos.

Simply mammoth size of a Cathedral....hard to photograph it was so large but got some shots on a stormy night from the bridge. Beautiful tiling on roof. Beautifully carved altar and wonderfully cool inside. Sadly a couple of the towers were being renovated but understandable.

Such a beautiful Basilica. Seeing the Pilar where our Lady billocated was so special. We timed it well for Holy Mass. you do need an hour to explore afterwards. Plenty of priests were there to hear confessions. Architecture was spectacular, the paintings, sculptures- a pure joy to be there. Plenty of Capella for praying along. Rosary after 12 mass.

The church was absolutely stunning, with its magnificent architecture leaving me speechless. The intricate stonework and towering spires created an awe-inspiring silhouette against the sky. As I walked through the grand entrance, I was captivated by the rich history that enveloped the space; it felt as though time itself had been preserved within these walls. The ornate stained glass windows cast vibrant colors across the interior, illuminating the beautifully carved wooden pews. I found myself particularly mesmerized by the elaborate details on the facade, where every chiselled figure and decorative element seemed to tell a story of its own. It was an experience that left a lasting impression on my heart.

A very beautiful basilica, and definitely worth visiting if you're in the area or happen to be passing through. However, I wouldn't make a special trip to Zaragoza just for this and a few other sites.

It was, without a doubt, an exceptionally impressive church. Unlike many others that I have visited in various cities, this one stood out with its distinctive architectural features and unique atmosphere, setting it apart from the more familiar structures I had previously encountered.

This used to be a fortified Islamic medieval palace built between 1065 and 1081 that eventually housed the regional parliament of Aragon. I was amazed by the intricate mixtilinear arches and springers, with arabesques over a large area. Definitely worth the money (not expensive) and time spent there. Notable sights include the Golden Hall, Mosque, Santa Isabel Courtyard, Palace of Peter IV and Palace of the Catholic Monarchs. When I was there, Goya’s works were also temporarily exhibited here, with the Goya Museum being renovated. So it was a 2-in-1 visit.

The place looked beautiful, and definitely is very cool from the outside. However, we were unable to go in because the tickets are not working from the online system. There was a long line, and we went to buy our tickets online, but definitely with the mobile device it was not working. It seems to be fairly typical that many of the websites in Spain don't work. 😞😵‍💫

Interesting place with lots of history. It's visible that they still need to do some restoration as half of the building does not represent yet how it's used to be before. This place is cool to go to see Arabic style in Spanish architecture. Due to maintenance works in the museum of Goya, some of his works are exhibited in this palace along with other items that belong to this palace.

1. Before my visit, it was not clear to me whether tickets had to be purchased in advance or not, so as not to waste time in queues. I visited Aljaferia Palace on a Friday afternoon in September. There was no queue for tickets. The ticket office is a small booth outside the walls of the Aljaferia, on the side of Calle de los Disputados street. 2. As with many Spanish attractions in Zaragoza, the explanations are perfect in Spanish :-) , but there is no information in English. I had installed the Aljaferia Palace app. This app contains numbers, but unfortunately these numbers do not correspond to the numbers found in the various rooms. Well, how difficult is it to do something properly... 3. Coming back to the tickets. Apparently, you can take guided tours in English during the summer. September is no longer summer, so guided tours were only available in Spanish. Try booking a ticket in advance on the website, and I wish you luck understanding it... I see online tickets for locals, for students, for all kinds of groups of people, but not for a foreign (English-speaking) tourist who wants a regular visit without extras. Has anyone ever taken a critical look at this booking web page? 4. Although the style is also Moorish, it is not comparable to, for example, the Alhambra in Granada, which is much more beautifully integrated into the landscape and has much more beautiful gardens, water features, and buildings.

It is a magnificent building to visit especially on a Rainey day. Though our visit coincided with a film crew on site. Restricting locations and sound levels. As we had just arrived we could not come back another day. We were still charged full price to enter.

An absolutely amazing piece of history not too far from the centre of Zaragoza. I booked the English tour for 9 euros and it was well worth the money. I would recommend the tours because you will get a lot more of the history of the palace and you will enjoy the visit more.

One of the most interesting archaeological heritage buildings that shows our shared cultural and artistic links of Aragon and Spain with the Muslim world while showing the evolution and its later role in Christian time as a royal fortress since Ferdinand and Isabella. If it was located in France or Italy it would have been visited 10 times more. A hidden gem worth visiting and cherishing and discovering all its treasures.

It's ok not amazing. The food is rubbish. it's quite small and you can see everything in 3 hours . It's not a complete waste of time and money although 90 something Euro's for 2 adults and a child seems a bit steep on reflection. The food prices to the quality is crazy 😧 very bad hence the 3 star .

Well the kids liked it and thats why we went. But it's very expensive for what you get. The shows are kind of disappointing I think they could do so much more. The technology is 20 years old. They try but it needs an injection if modernization. The food is crazy expensive. The best bit was the dinosaurs in the sea building which we did last thankfully. Four hours and we did it all. Hopefully they can update things a bit it could have been so much more exciting for the kids

Thought it would be a fun natural history thing for the kids. Turns out it's mostly waiting in line for 4D shows, and a play area. The first show they sent everyone away because it was broken down, and the paleontology hall was closed. We were on a tight schedule and couldn't wait hours for the 'rides', so €126 for a play pen? I demanded my money back. First time I EVER did that.

This place is great for young families. the ticket price includes all areas of the park. Everything except the museum is geared towards kids so tickets can be expensive but it's still good to visit at least one time.

What a complete rip-off. €28 per adult and €22 per CHILD! For nothing more than a few fibreglass statues of dinosaurs, a really badly acted T-Rex drama and run-around treehouse that's limited to kids aged +9. And don't go there hungry. The food is absolutely terrible. The salmon (fish of the day) was frozen and had the texture of my granny's old boots, the carrots we're tinned and boiled until every last vitamin had disappeared and the potatoes would have found better used in a jar of baby food. They we're mush. The only thing worth eating was the roasted chicken. You'd get better value for money and more educationally by renting Jurassic Park on Netflix and ordering in a pizza!

Did not disappoint in any way. Excellent family fun day out and exceeded expectations. My 5 year old loved every second.

Good way to spend a Family day. But remeber to take a hat in the summer ! The t-rex animated was awsome. Friendly & caring crew, clean installations. Fun-educational!

It is certainly a noteworthy and highly recommended experience in Zaragoza. Initially, one might be taken aback by the 19€ entrance fee for the hike. Nevertheless, after traversing the path, it quickly becomes apparent that it is worth every penny. We visited in October and enjoyed delightful weather. I can imagine that it might be quite warm during the summer months. A small suggestion: opt for the longer hiking route instead of the shortcut, provided you are physically capable, as you will not be disappointed.

Actually, during this photoshoot, we were also driven away. The location itself was quite remote and inconvenient to access—it required about one half an hour of driving from the city center—though the scenery there was truly beautiful. What was infuriating was that just when we were about to leave, an elderly staff member angrily warned us that we shouldn't wear "such Japanese-style clothing" and that we should "wear normal clothes." It wouldn't have been a big deal initially, but he kept pressing us, and that made me angry. I explained clearly that this is, in fact, Chinese-style clothing. But he responded with a dismissive expression, saying, "I don't care which country it's from—you just can't dress like this here." He went on to say a lot of very disrespectful things. We had already explained that other staff outside had allowed us to enter, yet he still confronted us angrily behind our backs. I just want to say: you can be upset if our unconventional clothing disturbed your work, but you shouldn’t discriminate against a character like this. Even if the character I’m cosplaying isn’t a good person, we’re all here out of love for the craft, investing our own time, money, and effort—some of us even traveled four hours from other cities just to be there. In that moment, I nearly lost my temper and felt like cursing at him, just like Xue Yang would have. My friend, cosplaying as Jin Guangyao, probably noticed the look on my face and stepped in to calmly talk to the other party. Anyway, with all that happened, and considering the remote location despite its beauty, I said I won’t be going back again. ---

Absolutely wonderful place to visit. The only things I was missing were the better indications of the pathways. We spend more than 3 hours there photographing and enjoying the beautiful nature. The light was amazing in the morning. It is not suitable for people with wheelchair. Also, there are quite tough parts on the path going up and down the stairs.

I went there for the Spa and the termal waters after I ws on a trip through the Scandinavian and Baltic countries. We'll, it is very sad but there is no a positive way to compare them. This place was more expensive, the water was either very cold or lukewarm and the lack of maintenance was unbelievable, I mean the little mosaics titles were loose in the pools floor. Some of the water taps were not even working, but of course everything was about to be fixed the next day. Typical Spaniard answer. And, even tho the entrance is pricey for what it is the charge you extra for a pool cap.

WOW!! Allow a whole day for this place. Good walking conditions with correct footwear. Lots of waterfalls means lots of damp and slippy areas..but worth it. And don't forget to stop and see the raptors..amazing!! Trying to edit my post 🤞Also, you can follow the path down to the waterfall and go behind it! Follow the steps down to the cave, it's well lit and has handrails. Not for small toddlers or prams and pushchairs...and probly not good for dogs unless they trained in cave rescue!😂but the view from behind the waterfall is sooo beautiful and breathtaking and wet!! Wear your hood up, no umbrellas, you will need both hands to take photos!

Amazing area. If you are in the area, you need to go here. The nature is incredible with tons of green, lots of waterfalls and some caves. A ticket costs around 18 euros but was definitely worth it. The path is around 7km. The monastery is also pretty impressive and free to visit.

This park is worth every penny. About 2.5 hours of absolute nature magic. Recommended early morning, opens at 09:00 and avoid weekends. Bring a picnic as there are nice places to do it, take your time and enjoy nature. Buy your tickets online and bring a professional camera because you will get some amazing shots.
