As the world's largest film studio, it offers tours, live shows, an on-site theme park, and adventure zone. I visited Ramoji Film City, and it was an amazing experience! The place truly lives up to its reputation as one of the world’s largest film cities. From grand movie sets and beautiful gardens to entertaining live shows, every corner has something unique. The guided tour was well-organized and informative. You really get to see how movies are made behind the scenes. Food and facilities were decent, and the staff was friendly too. Highly recommend spending a full day here to explore everything properly.

Amazing place for movie maniac as a persona can actually visit the the seta where the movies were shot. Blockbusters like Bahubali and Chennai Express and many more were shot over there. The Eco tour has a bird & butterfly park. It even has multiple fine dine restaurant and street food kiosks. All in all a great place to spend with family and friends for the entire day
Prashant S — Google review
It's a place you must visit once. Good to go with family to enjoy the beautiful gardens, sceneries, fountains. Also experience the film making process. The management and system is so organised that you will not miss any places to visit. You will have a well spent day.

A lot of impressions and quite impressive. Friend tour guide and I have to say she deserves a five star. Like her humour but for me it was all about the intensions of this place. it is both monumental and emotional. Qudos to everyone who put the work in to keep it alive. Respect. Keep the good work
Oluremi A — Google review
The overall time we spent was justified for the price of the tickets. It is a well planned and maintained location. You'll definitely love it. Plus-Worthy cinematic experience, lots of different spots to explore, cute buses enroute you to different places, toilets and snacks at almost every stop. Minus-Includes a lots of walk and temperature changes from AC vented halls to again back to normal temperature outside. So, be prepared to deal with regular temperature shifts! Rest it's an awesome place to visit!! Family friendly.👍🤩
Mohit S — Google review
Ramoji Film City is a Good place to visit with so much to explore and enjoy. The Eureka zone, Baahubali set, Japanese Garden, Hawa Mahal, European Streets, and Evening Parks are some of the best attractions to experience. It’s perfect for a full-day outing with family and kids. Though outside food isn’t allowed, water bottles and snacks inside are reasonably priced. However we had to wait around 30 minutes for food after 2 PM at the Baahubali set, so the food service could be improved. Management can review about the pricing - it feels slightly high, especially since lunch isn’t included in the package.
Sreenivasulu G — Google review
Visiting Ramoji Film City with my friends was absolutely epic and fully justifies its fantastic reputation. They have 2 package option AC/ Non-AC. Only difference in AC package it has buffet lunch included, and non-ac doesn't have dinner option one must pay for their own food. It is an full day activity so plan accordingly. We hit all the highlights, and the energy we got from the sheer number of things to do made the whole day fly by—we give the experience a huge thumbs up! The core of the day was the Studio Tour, which was far more impressive than just seeing static sets. Seeing the intricate details on the iconic streets, the massive temple facades, and the beautiful Indian and Japanese Gardens made for incredible photo opportunities for our group. The undeniable highlight of this section was the Bahubali Set. Walking through the gigantic Mahishmati kingdom was surreal; we spent ages exploring the throne room, the massive bells, and the various props, totally losing ourselves in the grandeur of that fictional world. For the adrenaline junkies in our group, the side trip to Sahas Adventure Land was a must. Tackling the ATV track was a blast—it was the perfect way to burn off some energy and enjoy some real speed and dirt-kicking fun, moving from the fantasy sets to a real-life action sequence. We made sure to catch a Live Show, which was the perfect moment to sit down and be entertained. The vibrant choreography and the stunt work were fantastic, adding that extra layer of cinematic excitement. And since we were there during the festival, the Carnival atmosphere topped everything off! The colorful parades, extended timings, and general festive buzz added so much energy and color to the end of our trip. Finally, the Bird Park and Butterfly Park were surprisingly beautiful and provided a wonderful, peaceful contrast to the high-energy sets and adventure sports. It was a serene way to wrap up the sightseeing before heading home. A quick tip for groups: The park is huge, so divide your time wisely! Start with the sets and adventure, and don't forget comfortable shoes. Ramoji is definitely a trip worth taking with your best friends—it’s non-stop fun from the moment you step off the bus!
Akash K — Google review
Ramoji Film City is definitely a must-visit place in Hyderabad — it’s vast, beautifully designed, and offers a unique glimpse into the world of cinema. The guided tour is well-organized, and there are plenty of attractions, sets, and shows for all age groups. However, the entry fee is quite high, and some of the sets and attractions feel a bit outdated. While the overall experience is enjoyable and worth visiting at least once, it would be even better if the management could refresh the sites and reduce the ticket price to make it more affordable for everyone.

Wildlife park
Nehru Zoological Park, located in the charming neighborhood of Bahadurpura, Hyderabad, is a captivating destination for wildlife enthusiasts and families. Spanning 380 acres, the park features diverse species from around the world and immersive habitats. Visitors can enjoy safari rides and explore expansive grounds while observing animals such as tigers, rhinos, elephants, monkeys, and more. The park also offers an array of activities including train rides, jungle safaris, boating, and bicycle rentals.
Great Place for a Day Out! The Zoo Park is a lovely place to spend time with family and kids. The environment is clean, and there’s a nice variety of animals to see. It’s also a good spot for learning and relaxation. Some animals looked a bit tired or low in energy, so I hope the zoo continues improving care and facilities. Overall, it was a fun and memorable visit — definitely worth checking out!
Sai C — Google review
I had an amazing experience visiting this zoo! The place is beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully organized, making it easy to explore and enjoyable for all ages. The enclosures are spacious, and it’s clear that the animals are well cared for. What really stood out was how educational the experience was—there were plenty of informative signs and friendly staff willing to share interesting facts. It’s the perfect place for families, kids, or anyone who appreciates wildlife and conservation. The food and rest areas were convenient, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Highly recommend spending a day here—you’ll leave with lots of memories and a greater appreciation for animals and nature!

A wonderful experience for nature and animal lovers! Nehru Zoological Park is one of the best-maintained zoos in India. The park is spacious, clean, and filled with greenery, making it perfect for a family outing. There’s a wide variety of animals and birds — from majestic lions and tigers to playful elephants and beautiful peacocks. The safari ride is a must-try; it gives a real jungle feel! There are plenty of resting spots, food stalls, and clean washrooms, which make the visit comfortable even with kids. It’s also well-managed in terms of crowd and cleanliness. A great place to learn about wildlife and spend a peaceful day close to nature. Highly recommended for families, students, and photography enthusiasts!
Sreeraj P — Google review
I booked my entry ticket directly from the counter and received it as an SMS with a link — a smooth and convenient process. Later, I also purchased the **Tiger Safari** ticket online while boarding the bus, which worked perfectly. I really appreciate this **Digital India initiative** — it makes the ticketing experience much easier and hassle-free. However, I noticed that **many animal enclosures were empty**, with just the nameplates displayed. To add to that, the **Dinosaur Park**, which used to be one of the main attractions, is currently **closed**, which was quite disappointing. Overall, it’s an **okay place to visit** if you have enough time and want a relaxed outing. But if you’re short on time or looking for a complete zoo experience, you can **skip this one** without missing much.
Rachit C — Google review
We had an enjoyable visit to the Nehru Zoological Park with the kids! There is a great variety of animals, and the overall experience was fun for the whole family. For practical information, the entry fee is reasonable: ₹100 for adults and ₹50 for children. Parking is also available for ₹100. The battery-operated vehicles are a huge plus, offering convenient drop-off and pick-up services around the park. However, a major disappointment was the Fish Aquarium, which was closed due to a complete power outage. This is frustrating, especially after paying the entrance fee, and the management should ensure backup electricity is available for all paid attractions. Overall, a good place for a family outing, but be prepared for potential closures if the power is out
Srikanth R — Google review
The zoo is a sprawling green oasis home to a diverse collection of animals in commendable, open-air enclosures designed to mimic their natural habitats. The opportunity to see Asiatic lions, tigers, rhinoceros, and a variety of birds and reptiles is a major draw. The addition of a nocturnal house, aquarium, and a prehistoric dinosaur park shows great imagination and commitment to an educational experience for all ages. However, the enjoyment is tempered by the pricing model. Visitors are required to purchase separate tickets for almost every major attraction beyond the main entrance, including the safari rides, toy train, and battery-operated vehicles (buggies). This a la carte approach means that a family wanting to experience all the highlights faces a surprisingly high cumulative price.
Kasi V — Google review
This is a zoo worth seeing. One may see tigers, lions, elephants, deers, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, reptiles and many other animals. The very remarkable things here to see are the nocturnal animals. There is an aquarium also. Transport arrangements inside the zoo are there. There are battery-operated cars and toy trains. Safari is a must see. Both kids and adults will like it and enjoy.
Rabindranath G — Google review
I had a wonderful experience visiting Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad! The environment was clean, green, and beautifully maintained. I got to see many animals and birds for the first time — it was truly exciting and educational. The park does a great job of preserving wildlife and providing a natural habitat for the animals. It’s a perfect place for families, nature lovers, and anyone who enjoys learning about animals. Highly recommended for a fun and memorable day out! ---

Shri Khandoba Temple Jejuri

Walled temple with multicolored towers & 2 hilltop shrines, where devotees spread turmeric powder.
A Truly Divine Experience at Shri Khandoba Temple, Jejuri My recent visit to the Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri was nothing short of a divine and profoundly uplifting experience. Nestled atop a hill, this sacred abode of Lord Khandoba truly captivates the soul with its spiritual aura and vibrant atmosphere. What truly sets Jejuri apart is the incredible tradition of "Bhandara." Witnessing devotees enthusiastically shower the deity and the temple premises with copious amounts of turmeric powder creates a mesmerizing spectacle. The entire complex is bathed in a golden hue, a tangible expression of devotion that invigorates the senses and fills the air with a unique, spiritual energy. It's an unforgettable visual and sensory experience that leaves a lasting impression. The temple's architecture, with its unique Hemadpanthi style blending stone and brick, is a testament to its rich history and cultural heritage. Despite the bustling crowds, especially on weekends, I found moments of profound peace within the sanctum. The friendly demeanor of the staff and volunteers further enhanced the visit, making it a welcoming place for all.

Lord shiva temple is especially famous for new weds coming here to seek a blissful life. The turmeric powder holi is a unique tradition of this temple where all devotees offer turmeric powder to lord shiva and also pour turmeric in the air. You will have to cross hundred stairs to reach to this ancient temple but it's totally worth. The energy and vibes at the top are simply amazing.

"Jejuri Khandoba Temple is truly a divine and spiritual place. Located on a hilltop, it requires climbing around 400-450 steps, but the journey itself feels very peaceful and energizing. The view from the top is beautiful, and the temple atmosphere is filled with positivity.
Vinaay E — Google review
I recently visited Khandoba temple at Jejuri as Khandoba is out deity and we often visit this place to take blessings , this time I went with my father and we decided to take steps to climb up the fort as kid I visited but this time it was bit difficult for my father as he is 60+ now but it took us like 30 min to climb up we took breaks to have water in between but when we reached up it was all worth it despite Sunday the number of visitors were less , we got the darshan and then we proceeded back to pune , only issue is that you will find rikshaws easily , and food availability is less like less options are there .
DEVDATTA B — Google review
Newly married couples 💑 come here to seek blessings from Lord Khandoba as they begin their life journey together. Traditionally, the husband carries his wife up at least the first five steps of the temple. Turmeric powder, known as bhandara, is spread all over the temple, giving it a golden look. When devotees throw turmeric into the air as an offering to the deity, it creates a truly amazing sight.🌫️ Note: 1. After darshan, when exiting from the left side, you will notice two people sitting near the exit gate inside the temple. Be cautious—they call out to you, ask your name, and request a donation in the name of God. You’ll see ₹200–₹500 notes in front of them. It’s best to avoid engaging with them. 2. It's advisable to stay away from local pandits, as some may try to extract money from you. 3. After the darshan, you can visit the place where Shahaji Raje and Shivaji Maharaj met.

Went here on 3 Aug 2025, Beautiful temple on a mountain. Khandoba is a form of Mahadev. My visit was unplanned, felt like he called me and I went. Lovely and memorable place.

A truly divine and peaceful experience at Shri Khandoba Temple in Jejuri. The temple is beautifully built giving it a unique and majestic look. The atmosphere is full of positive energy, and the view from the top is breathtaking. The steps are a bit steep but worth the climb for the darshan. Must visit for anyone seeking spiritual vibes and a glimpse of Maharashtra’s rich culture.

Shree Mahaganapati Ganapati Temple, Ranjangaon (Ashtavinayak Kshetra)

Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Shree Mahaganapati Ranjangaon, one of the revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha, is a must-visit destination for devotees and travelers alike. Nestled in the serene village of Ranjangaon, approximately 50 km from Pune, this ancient temple boasts a rich history linked to Lord Shiva's invocation of Ganesha before vanquishing the demon Tripurasura.
I have visited this temple twice, and both times, it was a wonderful and spiritual experience. The temple has a peaceful and divine atmosphere, making it a must-visit for devotees of Lord Ganesha. The architecture is beautiful, and the temple premises are well-maintained. However, one thing that I did not like was the VIP darshan system. People who pay ₹100 per person get quick access, while others have to wait in long queues for 1-2 hours, and even longer (2-3 hours) on weekends. This makes it difficult for common devotees who visit with faith and devotion. Apart from that, the overall experience was great. The temple attracts a huge crowd, which shows its significance. If you plan to visit, try going on a weekday to avoid long waiting times.
Ranjan K — Google review
🙏 Shree Mahaganapati Temple, Ranjangaon (Ashtavinayak Kshetra) श्री महागणपती मंदिर, रांजणगाव I recently had the divine opportunity to visit Shree Mahaganapati Temple at Ranjangaon – one of the eight revered Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva worshipped Ganesha before fighting the demon Tripurasura. The idol here is known as Mahaganapati, a powerful and majestic form of Ganesh with 10 trunks and 20 arms (though the original idol is kept hidden in the sanctum and shown only on special occasions). The temple architecture is stunning – a beautiful blend of peace, spirituality, and historic charm. The calmness and spiritual aura of the place are truly mesmerizing. It is well maintained and organized for devotees, even during weekends and holidays. The temple complex is clean, with ample space for parking, and basic amenities like toilets and drinking water. There are shops outside selling prasad, flowers, and souvenirs. I recommend reaching early in the morning or during the evening aarti time to avoid rush and experience the serene atmosphere. The drive from Pune is smooth and scenic (approx. 50 km), making it a perfect spiritual getaway. This temple is often visited as part of the full Ashtavinayak Yatra, but even if you’re visiting individually, it leaves you with a sense of divine satisfaction. 🌟 Tips for Devotees: Mobile phones and cameras are allowed, but photography inside the sanctum is restricted. Wear comfortable footwear (to be removed before entering the temple). Try the local Maharashtrian food in the nearby stalls. 🙏 A must-visit spiritual destination that combines devotion, history, and tranquility. Truly blessed to have experienced the divine presence of Mahaganapati Bappa! गणपती बाप्पा मोरया! 🙏

The mandir is really peaceful, and we'll culture, I'll recommend to buy VIP pass, which only costs 100/- , which will directly bow you to the entrence of ganesh idol.

It’s a famous one of the Ashta-Vinayaka (Among 8 Main Ganapati Mandir) situated at Ranjangoan. The Mandir is small but the surrounding area is specious. Lots of small temples are situated inside the Mandir itself. The Entrance is amazing. There is no rush during weekdays. But lots of waiting during weekends and Sankashti.
Pratiksha D — Google review
A highly revered temple of Ganesh. It is one of the ashtavinayak temples. It is right on main road and quite crowded. There are lot of puja item shops on way to temple. Parking space is available but due to large crowd it is usually occupied. In Temple just before entering garbhagrih there is a large gold plate which has Ganapati Atharvashirsh engraved on it.
Vishal S — Google review
It was an amazing experience. It is easily accessible as it is just along the highway which makes it convenient to reach. The only downside is the huge line just for hardly 1 min of darshan which is a problem for almost all the temples so can't complain about it. The atmosphere is good, you can also sit for hours in the garden area as it is peaceful and calm.
Sam R — Google review
Beautiful temple and garden. Easily accessible from the main highway. Sometimes it is crowded. Its one of the Ashtvinayak temple.
Dipali W — Google review
One of the Ashtavinayak and nearer to Pune ... takes around 1hr drive from Wagholi. Darshan takes around an hour Max but it's worth it. Good arrangement by the temple trust. Good crowd management. Security. Food options available there are kinda limited but that's okay. Ganapati Bappa Morya

🌸 Shirdi Sai Baba: A Divine Beacon of Peace and Spiritual Awakening 🌸 In the sacred town of Shirdi, nestled in the heart of Maharashtra, stands a holy sanctuary — the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple — a place that transcends religion, caste, and creed. It is not just a temple made of stone and mortar; it is a living realm of divinity, compassion, and universal brotherhood. People from all walks of life, regardless of their background, are drawn here in search of peace, healing, and inner transformation. Sai Baba of Shirdi, revered as a Saint, Fakir, and Satguru, is the embodiment of love without conditions and faith without fear. His presence continues to inspire millions across the globe to lead lives rooted in truth, humility, and devotion. Baba never identified with any particular religion — he often said, "Sabka Malik Ek" — “God is One”. These simple yet profound words echo through time, reminding us that the divine resides in all beings. 🕊️ The World of Peace and Spiritual Harmony To step into the world of Sai Baba is to step into a space of deep inner stillness. His teachings were not filled with complex rituals or doctrines; rather, they focused on compassion, tolerance, patience, forgiveness, and faith. The very air of Shirdi carries a vibration of calmness and spiritual elevation, guiding the restless soul toward serenity. Baba taught us that true spirituality lies in selfless service, in helping others, in feeding the hungry, in comforting the grieving, and in uplifting the downtrodden. He saw no difference between rich and poor, Hindu and Muslim, or educated and uneducated — to him, all were children of the One Supreme Power. 🌿 Life Lessons from Sai Baba: Learning to Truly Live The timeless wisdom of Sai Baba is a guide to navigating the challenges of modern life with grace and dignity. Here are some of the most cherished lessons we can draw from his life: Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Patience): Baba constantly emphasized these two pillars. Have unshakeable faith in the Divine, and wait with patience; everything unfolds in its time. Love All, Serve All: He urged people to rise above ego and hatred and instead, serve humanity with love. Service to others is service to God. Forgive and Let Go: Holding on to anger or revenge only poisons the soul. Sai Baba often forgave even those who wronged him — a true lesson in humility and spiritual strength. Equality and Unity: Baba broke down all social and religious barriers. His very life was a message that we are all one, united under one Divine light. Contentment and Simplicity: He lived a humble life, teaching us to find joy not in material wealth, but in gratitude, simplicity, and inner contentment. --- 🙏 A Personal Journey with Baba For many devotees, Baba is more than a saint — he is a companion, guide, healer, and divine protector. Whether you're facing illness, emotional turmoil, or spiritual confusion, turning to Baba with a sincere heart brings light into the darkest moments. His presence is not bound by time or space. You may feel it in the stillness of a prayer, the kindness of a stranger, or the silent answers that come in meditation. Baba listens to every heart that calls him, and his grace flows silently yet powerfully. --- 🛕 In Closing: A Temple in the Heart While the Shirdi temple is a sacred pilgrimage for millions, the true temple of Baba is the human heart. When we live by his teachings — of love, service, and truth — we carry his spirit with us wherever we go. In doing so, we become channels of the very peace and light that Sai Baba offered to the world. May Sai Baba bless you and your loved ones with health, harmony, guidance, and unwavering faith. May his light shine on your path and lead you to the divine peace that resides within. 🕉️ Om Sai Ram! 🕉️

There are many gates to enter the temple but if you want to have a free darshan then enter from gate no. 7. The charge for VIP darshan is 200 rupees. You have to deposit your mobile in the clock room where the charge is 5 rupees per phone. You get darshan in 30 minutes. The management is very good, there is a provision to sit in the line inside and there is also a washroom and there is also a provision for many fan coller..

Om sainathaye namaha.. excellent systematic approach !! Govt and non govt securities work hand in hand in managing the entire devotees and puja system inside which is really appreciable. Hatsoff to the management. They have dedicated staff for handling lockers where devotees can keep their valuables as mobile and gadgets are not allowed inside the mandir.premises. We had experienced such a wonderful view of baba not once but twice.. want to visit again. Jai ho!!!

Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is a peaceful and divine place to visit. Near Gate 6, you’ll find mobile lockers available for just Rs 5 per phone, along with free shoe stands. For free darshan, head to Gate 7, which you can reach from Dwarkamai Temple, if Dwarkamai is in front of you, go left and take the first right. You’ll pass the mobile lockers first, and then Gate 7 is right there. On weekends, the wait time for free darshan is usually around 3 hours, and the entire process can take 3-4 hours. We also visited once on a Monday morning around 6 AM, and it only took about 1.5 to 2 hours for the complete Darshan. If you prefer paid darshan, you can either book online in advance or book near temple, enter through Gate 6 when you arrive. Wait time is much lesser than free Darshan but it'll still take almost 2 if crowded. Inside the temple, there is usually some waiting time before darshan, so visitors are asked to sit in waiting halls. Opposite these halls, there’s a counter where you can get free unlimited tea and biscuits. They also sell chips and water at prices much lower than market rate. After darshan, don’t forget to pick up your free food coupons next to the neem tree. Near the exit, you will also receive packets of prasad and vibhooti. Additionally, there’s a laddu counter near the lendi garden entry, opposite the neem tree, where you can get the famous Shirdi laddu.

"We visited this place for the first time and weren’t sure how much area there was to explore. At the entrance, horse riders offered to take us to 10–12 points, but honestly, only 2–3 of them are major spots that you can easily walk to within 1–2 km. If you enjoy horse riding, you can try it—but it’s quite expensive and not really necessary. The natural beauty here is excellent, especially at Table Point. Sunrise and sunset views are truly worth it!"

6 kms valley having historic relation with mahabharat. Where it is believed Pandavas spent their exile here. Pandavas footprints, caves, devils kitchen is here many movie shots were taken here. It's long plateau. Asias 2nd highest Volcanic Plateau. U cannot walk full plateau there are horses and carts which costs around 1400 to roam everywhere and they explain you story. Best to visit during sunset 🌇

One of the best places to visit during the rainy season. Do not go for any guide or so just travel by urself they will only give information on which movie was shot where and which battle was fought and etc. If horse riding available go for it and bargain for it without fail, for 9 spots go for as low as 1200-1500. You will get some picturesque views if you travelling on low rainy days. Do not spend 20 rs on pandav caves, not worth it it's just a simple shiv bhagwan statue without any lights in cave. Note: from June horse riding is banned for three months due to the rainy season.

Wonderful geological structure which encompasses so much beauty around it that people simply get attracted towards it to relish in the beauty of this flat land. Walk on the table land, ride the horse cart or horse back, appreciate the landforms, observe the flora and fauna, click some memorable pictures and be grateful and feel lucky that you visited such a wonderful natural formation...
ECLECTIC A — Google review
Absolute picturesque. It has 9 points to visit. Ghodawalas will approach you right outside, you can either take a horse or walk on your own. If you take a horse then try to bargain cause they charge 3600Rs which is super expensive and not justified at all. We bargained to get the horse at 1300 for 6 points and rest 3 points we walked.

One of the Best 👍💯😍😍🤩🤩 It's Free!!! Surprised? It's absolutely free in terms of fees, but the experience is priceless. As the description says; it's a glimpse into the life and teachings of Sadhu Vasvani and his Mission. It portrays the life of the Grt man very beautiful at the same time being very realistic (no exaggeration). Those who love to see antiques, u will find it here... To an extent, that u can see an original video recording of 1966. At the same time the visuals in other sections are 3D for technology lovers and there is very homely and natural environment created for nature lovers... It's something very amazing and different, as u walk through the life of Sadu Vasvani u will also c how modern technology is used to keep him alive through Audio Visual aid. Words can't express the place in its entirety!!! Go and experience for ur self... It's awesome 1 hour audio visual show (last show at 5 in the eve, which ends at 6) I guess in the morning it begins at 8 or 9 Thursday - Holiday The staff is very helpful, polite, friendly and understanding 🥰 No photograph allowed inside the museum📷... Thus no good pics to display... But the place is a treat for the eyes 👀

Nestled in the heart of Pune, the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir stands as a beacon of devotion and artistry. This iconic temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, boasts stunning marble interiors and a magnificent golden idol that captivates visitors from all walks of life. Established in 1893 by Shri Dagdusheth Halwai and his wife Lakshmibai following a personal tragedy, this sacred site has become one of India's most revered places for worship.
Visiting Dagdusheth Ganpati was a truly divine experience. The moment I reached the temple, the atmosphere was filled with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” and the fragrance of flowers and incense. The magnificent idol of Lord Ganesha, beautifully adorned with gold ornaments, instantly filled my heart with peace and devotion. Even amidst the crowd, darshan was smooth because of the temple’s unique design that allows everyone to see Bappa clearly. The positive energy, the devotion of people, and the feeling of being in the presence of Lord Ganesha made the visit unforgettable. I left with a calm mind, a grateful heart, and a sense of blessings that will stay with me forever. 🙏✨ Truly, Dagdusheth is Navsala Pavnara Ganpati ✨🙏

Visiting the Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple is always a divine and soul-soothing experience. Located in the heart of Pune, this temple is not just a place of worship but a symbol of devotion, culture, and tradition. The moment you step inside, you can feel an aura of peace, positivity, and spiritual energy surrounding you. The Ganpati idol here is truly magnificent — beautifully adorned with gold and intricate ornaments. The eyes of Lord Ganesha seem so lively and compassionate that one instantly feels connected and blessed. The temple management ensures that everything is well organized, from darshan queues to cleanliness and safety measures. Despite being one of the most popular temples in Maharashtra, the darshan moves smoothly thanks to the systematic arrangement and polite volunteers who guide devotees with patience and warmth. The surrounding area is also well maintained, and facilities like shoe counters and prasad distribution are handled efficiently. During festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, the entire place transforms into a vibrant celebration with lights, music, and devotion — yet the sense of discipline and organization remains intact. It’s heartwarming to see how the temple also engages in various charitable activities, helping the needy and supporting social causes throughout the year. Overall, visiting Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple is a must for anyone in Pune — whether for spiritual solace, cultural significance, or simply to experience the deep devotion of countless devotees. A truly divine place that fills your heart with peace and gratitude.

I had wanted to visit Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir for a long time, and finally got the chance. Even though it was Diwali, the crowd was well-managed, and devotees were able to move around comfortably thanks to the efficient security personnel. One small improvement could be providing a tap or facility to wash hands, as we place our chappals on the stand with bare hands. Overall, the temple is well-organized, spiritually uplifting, and a must-visit for anyone coming to Pune.

SHREE DAGDUSHETH HALWAI GANPATI – PUNE’S ICONIC GANESH TEMPLE We visited the famed Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati—Pune’s answer to Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja—and were truly amazed by the authentic and wholesome vibe of the festivities. The idol is majestic, with a traditional Puneri crown that’s instantly recognizable. The temple interiors are adorned with chandeliers, and despite the crowd, the pandits are calm, making the darshan peaceful. You can even stay back for the aarti, which adds a spiritual depth to the visit. A thoughtful feature is the glass viewing section on the front wall, allowing devotees to seek blessings even from the road during rush hours. During Ganeshotsav, the idol is ceremoniously moved to a temporary mandap at the end of the road, accompanied by traditional dhol-tasha groups and grand processions full of energy and devotion. It’s not just a temple—it’s a cultural experience. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Dagdusheth Ganpati offers a glimpse into Pune’s soul, wrapped in devotion, tradition, and celebration.

One of the most beautiful temples in Pune. Visiting this temple is truly a divine experience. The moment you see Lord Ganesh, so beautifully adorned, you can instantly feel the spiritual aura and positive energy around you. Despite being crowded most of the time, the temple is managed exceptionally well, no matter when you visit, you’ll always get a peaceful darshan of Ganesh ji. There’s also a Shiva temple within the same premises, adding to the sacred atmosphere. The poojari are humble and ensure everyone receives aarti and prasad with warmth. During Ganesh Chaturthi, the temple looks absolutely magnificent. Ganesh ji is decorated in gold, and the sight is truly something else. Spending time here fills you with calmness and devotion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Visiting the Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple was a beautiful and divine experience. The temple is filled with positive energy and devotion, and the darshan feels truly special. For first-time visitors, here are a few useful tips to make your visit smooth: • Avoid taking your car directly into the temple lane. The lane is extremely congested, one-way, and located in a busy market area. You won’t find parking nearby. It’s best to park your vehicle 500 meters to 1 km away and take a rickshaw to the temple. • You can choose a fast-track darshan pass for around ₹100 to directly go for darshan. There is also a regular darshan queue behind the temple where you can go without a pass. • Photography is not allowed inside the temple. If you wish to take pictures, you must visit the temple office and get proper permission first. • There is a shoe rack facility available where you can safely keep your footwear and get a token. Overall, a wonderful and peaceful darshan experience. Just be mindful about the approach road and parking, and everything else will be absolutely blissful. Must-visit for everyone seeking blessings in Pune!

Visited yesterday. This is one the best places in mahabaleshwar. Need to pay entry fees to start journey before this point. After this you need to pay 50/- for parking. Try to visit this place in evening to get a good view of sunset. You can take horse ride, boat ride, game shows, activity games and some tasty food items. Try to take horse ride with photoshoot. . Main market and mapro garden is near from this. Good place for spending time. Boating charge 600 for 4 person for 30min.

Plenty of parking accessible near the entrance.

⭐ Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Venna Lake, Panchgani is an average tourist spot — good for a one-time visit, but not something you’d want to return to. The lake itself looks nice from a distance, but it’s extremely crowded, especially on weekends. You often have to wait for hours just to get a boat ride, and the entrance area gets very chaotic. During the rainy season, the place becomes filthy and muddy, and the hygiene is below average. The nearby horse stand adds to the mess — the area is dirty and full of people constantly chasing you for rides. They charge around ₹200 for just 500 meters, which is absolutely not worth it. Parking is another headache — very congested and disorganized. Overall, this is just one of those places you visit once to tick it off your list, not for the experience itself.
Ambkumar — Google review
It is one of the most scenic attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Beautiful lake surrounded by hills. Great for boat rides while watching the sunset. We went during May end , so the evening breeze by the lake was so soothing. Gets extremely crowded during peak tourist season. There are ample parking spots, but due to the rush of tourists, it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I have seen families walk a considerable distance from their parking area to reach the lake. It all depends upon whether you get a parking or not , if you have a driver, they may drop you at a distance. Apart from this, the lake vicinity has different activities like boat riding , horse riding, etc, and way too many fast food joints selling all kinds of food and drinks. There are fruit vendors , toy vendors , and so many shop keepers all around. If you just want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset amidst all the cacophony , come a bit early and sit a little away from the main entrance point.

We went to Mahabaleshwar hoping to enjoy the rainy season. Packed all our rain gear, umbrellas, jackets, even plastic covers for bags. But as soon as we reached… the rain just disappeared! Not even a single drop! It was like the rain said, “Okay, my job is done. You guys take care now.” Instead, we were welcomed by thick clouds everywhere. Couldn’t see much ahead while driving – the fog was like “peekaboo!” every few minutes. But honestly, the cloudy weather made the whole place look magical. The valleys, trees, and hills covered in clouds looked straight out of a movie scene. We missed the rain, but the cool weather and peaceful vibes made up for it. Sitting on a hilltop with hot chai and roasted corn in that fog… pure bliss. It felt like the clouds came just to give us a cozy hug. So yeah, Mahabaleshwar didn’t give us rain, but it gave us something better — quiet, calm, and some unforgettable views. Highly recommend going there if you want a break from all the city noise. Just… don’t chase the rain. It’s faster than it looks!

My recent trip to Mahabaleshwar was truly an unforgettable experience and easily one of the most refreshing holidays I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, the climate was absolutely perfect — cool, breezy, and soothing, just the way Mahabaleshwar is known for. The pleasant weather itself set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Table Land, a vast stretch of flat plateau offering breathtaking views and a calm, open atmosphere. Standing there, surrounded by nature and fresh air, felt incredibly peaceful. We also spent time at Mapro Garden, which was vibrant, lively, and filled with the aroma of fresh strawberries. Their products, food court, and greenery added a fun and refreshing touch to the day. Exploring the Mahabaleshwar market was another memorable experience. From local snacks and fresh produce to handicrafts and souvenirs, the market had a charming, traditional vibe that made strolling through it truly enjoyable. The viewpoints were equally captivating. Parsi Point offered stunning valley views that felt almost surreal, while Elephant Head Point stood out with its unique natural rock formation and scenic beauty. Each spot had its own charm and added a different flavor to the trip. Overall, this holiday was the perfect mix of nature, sightseeing, relaxation, and pleasant weather. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Hill Station with Stunning Views! Mahabaleshwar is one of the most scenic and peaceful getaways in Maharashtra. The cool climate, lush greenery, and panoramic viewpoints like Arthur’s Seat, Elephant’s Head Point, and Wilson Point make it a must-visit destination. The strawberry farms are a sweet bonus—don’t miss trying the fresh strawberries with cream! The town also has some beautiful temples and the historic Pratapgad Fort nearby for those interested in culture and history. Roads are well maintained, though it can get crowded during peak season. Plenty of good food options and cozy stays. Overall, a perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy nature!

Visit during monsoon. When we visited there were rains but not heavy downpours. It should be drizzling not heavy rains, if there is heavy rain then the entire place is covered in fog, it would be difficult to drive in the fog in the hill station and also some view points will be closed. Hotels, restaurants and taxi service , bus services are available within Mahabaleshwar and to reach as well multiple bus or cab services available. Weekends will be too crowded, There are 3 temples at the hill top and they are a must visit.

👌✨Mahabaleshwar – Monsoon Bliss in the Hills! I visited Mahabaleshwar during the monsoon season, and it was one of the most refreshing experiences ever! The lush green hills covered in mist, cool breezy weather, and light drizzles made every moment magical. The clean, fresh mountain air instantly lifts your mood. Street food like hot corn, vada pav, and fresh strawberries made the rainy weather even more enjoyable. Local people are warm, polite, and always ready to help. Driving through the winding ghats was thrilling with scenic valley views at every turn. Whether you're a nature lover, a couple looking for peace, or a photographer — this place has something for everyone. The sound of waterfalls, the foggy viewpoints, and the calm vibes offer pure peace of mind. Highly recommended for a monsoon getaway that’s full of nature, flavor, and soulful moments!...✨🎊

The trek or road climb is fun and not too long. The view from the top is amazing, especially during monsoon when everything turns lush green. Clouds move around you, sometimes covering everything, and the wind feels like it can lift you up. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and worth the trip. Food stalls at the top serve authentic rural Maharashtrian food—pithla-bhakri, curd, kanda bhaji, and lime sharbat. After the climb, it tastes even better. It’s a perfect weekend spot for nature lovers, trekkers, history fans, or anyone needing a break from the city.

Rajgad should be the first in life at least once. Chhatrapati Shivarai spent 25 years of his life in this fort. While walking on the fort, we feel like Maharaj... Those walls, fortifications, machi all of them have been touched by Maharaj while walking around the fort. I traveled very happily for 12 hours continuously and was not tired at all, maybe it was the greatness of Maharaja's Rajgad that I didn't feel tired at all... The fun of staying at the fort was unique and the sunrise at Suvela Machi was the first or the world more beautiful than this. realize that nothing is

Rajgad Fort is one of the most beautiful and historic forts in Maharashtra. It was the first capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Swarajya, which makes it very important in Maratha history. The fort is huge and spread out with strong walls, gates, and watch points. The view from the top is breathtaking – you can see lush green valleys, mountains, and nearby forts like Torna. The trekking experience is amazing but a bit challenging, especially in the rainy season when the fort is covered with fog and greenery. Carry enough water and snacks because the climb can take time. Overall, Rajgad Fort is a perfect place for history lovers, trekkers, and nature enthusiasts. Visiting it feels like going back into the glorious Maratha era.

Rajgad Fort is not just stones—it’s where Shivaji Maharaj lived, fought, and dreamed. The 3-4 hour trek through stunning Sahyadri hills made me feel the living spirit of our maharaj. Perched majestically in the Western Ghats, Pratapgad Fort, also known as the Fort of Valour, is a historical gem that dates back to the 1650s. Standing at an impressive altitude of 1080 meters, this fort not only offers breathtaking panoramic views but also serves as a significant site where the famous Battle of Pratapgad unfolded between Chatrapati Shivaji and Afzal Khan in 1659.

Pratapgad Fort is a must-visit historical destination near Mahabaleshwar. Built in the 17th century by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the fort holds immense cultural and historical significance. The moment you start climbing, you feel the aura of Maratha history around you. The fort is spread out with long pathways, sturdy walls, and several points of interest, including temples, bastions, and viewing spots. The view from the top is simply breathtaking, especially on a clear day when you can see the lush valleys and surrounding Sahyadri mountains. During the monsoon season, the greenery, mist, and cool breeze make it even more magical, although the paths can get slippery, so good footwear is a must. There are small stalls around the fort selling local snacks, lemon water, and tea, which add to the charm. It’s not a very tough trek, but it does require a bit of stamina, especially for those not used to climbing. Hiring a local guide can enhance the experience as they explain the stories of battles and the significance of each part of the fort. Key Attractions: Bhavani Mata Temple Watchtowers and bastions Historic battle points Overall, Pratapgad offers a perfect mix of history, nature, and adventure—a must-visit for history lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.

🚩 Experience of Pratapgad Fort. The Pratapgad Fort reflects Maratha pride and military might. The fort is divided into two main parts: the upper part houses the Bhavani Mata Temple and other essential structures, while the lower part consists of long walls and bastions (fortresses' outposts). Ascent and Path The path leading up to the fort is extremely beautiful, offering captivating views of the surroundings. Food and beverages are sold at various spots along the way. Safety and Comfort You should wear comfortable shoes during the climb. This is because reaching the fort requires a bit of trekking, and the path on top of the fort is also uneven. Therefore, it is important to exercise caution while walking so that you do not slip. View from the Top Reaching the summit of the fort offers a spectacular experience. The view of the lush greenery all around and the distant landscape is very peaceful to behold. However, finding a parking spot can be a bit difficult on weekends.
Amisha K — Google review
Pratapgarh Fort is incredibly well maintained and truly worth every step of the climb. It is easily walkable, making the trek accessible for most visitors, and the views from the top are simply crazy—truly panoramic and breathtaking. The atmosphere inside the fort is palpable; everyone can feel a strong, positive energy during the walk. However, prospective visitors should plan ahead for a few logistical issues. There is a possibility of traffic jams on the road leading up to the fort, and finding parking during peak hours can be quite difficult. Additionally, be mindful of the resident monkeys, who can be a nuisance if you are carrying food items. Come prepared, and you will have a wonderful, energizing experience!

Had a fabulous experience visiting the fort. Appreciate the Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj for his historical places among the Raigadh fort. About staying experience at private hotel was worse, the local people have made rooms on their roof and charging with very heavy cost so better to plan like that u can reach at early morning and go by night. For a ticket I started waiting in s queue in the early morning at 5am and the counter opened at 7pm so there is no arrangements for seating or coupons systems. Online tickets are consumed very fast so difficult to get it. Government must give more focus on improvement.

Great place for trecking and scenic views mixed with historical architecture. You can get a cable car in case you dont wanna treck 2000+ steps. Please visit during winter or spring for best scenic views. In summer waterfalls dry up and during rainy season clouds could hinder visibility as was the case with me. Try to reach the place as early as possible in the morning as the night travel could be very risky on the road full of valleys.

Monsoon beauty in Western Ghat, particularly in Malshej, is unbeatable. Clouds, fog, rain, and waterfalls, everything is endlessly. The Govt of Maharashtra provides good parking spaces and beautify water sources and waterfall areas so visitors can enjoy maximum. Hot Maggi, tea, and corn will add cherry on the ice.

This place should be on must visit list in monsoon if you are exploring western ghats. Going here is easy, as for most of the part road conditions are very good. You can come by car, 2 wheeler etc. In ghat section roads are narrow so expect some traffic during monsoon season. Also there is possibility of land slide etc. There are multiple waterfall points in the ghat area where government has build staircase , protective structures to access it easily. Make sure while you park your vehicle, you are not blocking on going traffic. I have seen people doing it. Be a responsible citizen. Same thing go for plastic and other garbage. In monsoon and winter expect lot of foggy weather which limits visibility so be careful. Most of the people I see go till ghat and return if they are coming from pune-nashik highway. I would highly recommend to go down till ghat ends, you will see amazing views.

Riding a two-wheeler made the experience even more adventurous and thrilling. Along the way, I witnessed numerous small waterfalls cascading down the hillsides and stunning mountain views all around. I frequently stopped at different spots just to soak in the breathtaking scenery. At one spot, something magical happened—within just a few minutes, the thick fog suddenly cleared and revealing a fantastic view🏞. Moments like these make the journey truly unforgettable. Just a short drive from Pune and Mumbai, this serene lake is perfect for camping, picnics, and photography enthusiasts eager to capture its breathtaking views. The area also boasts nearby historical sites like fortress ruins that add a touch of adventure to your visit.
My friends and I visited this place recently. The first thing that you will notice once you are there is the beautiful water of the lake. The place was really quiet and filled with nice bird 🕊️ sounds. There are multiple camps set up at the side of the lake. At the camps there were many activities such as badminton, cricket, caram board, chess, archery, etc. also there were boat rides inside the lake. The sunset at the lake was a must watch thing. The only thing was the worst of the place was food as there were no food stalls and the camp we stayed in didn't provide us good food. Which was only bummer. Rest all was great. I would really recommend this place for couples, family and friends. Also it can be a good spot for a picnic. All and all had a great time. NOTE: Carry something dry to eat as there is no shop near the place of camp.

Best for Camp piece full place enjoy and relax. It is a very good place, you will get good roads to reach there, you may have to climb a little mountain, it is good for nature activities, you just have to find a good camp which is near the lake, you can also take a bath in it

Such a peaceful and refreshing camping spot! The lake is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning mountain views that make mornings and evenings magical. Perfect place to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. Boating on the lake was an amazing experience — calm waters and breathtaking scenery all around. The atmosphere is quiet, clean, and very family-friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the lap of nature!

Pawna Lake: Beautiful, yes, but monsoon is the best time to visit! The water is a stunning blue from above, then silent and peaceful when you walk to the edge. 🌅 Sunset is a must-see! 🛶 Enjoy a boat ride or try kayaking. An unforgettable experience!

Absolutely worth visiting in the monsoon, especially if you're looking for a peaceful getaway as lesser crowd and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The vibrant green scenery, misty hills, and seasonal waterfalls create a unique and magical atmosphere that you need.

📍 Pawna Lake – Maharashtra’s Most Loved Camping Spot! ⛺🌌 If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside escape with starry nights, crackling bonfires, and pure mountain vibes — Pawna Lake is your perfect getaway. Just 2 hours from Pune and 3 hours from Mumbai, this serene lake is surrounded by forts, greenery, and scenic hills. 🏞️ I visited Pawna recently, and I can confidently say — it’s one of the best chill spots to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature or your people 🧘‍♂️✨ --- 🛏️ Camping Experience The best way to enjoy Pawna is to stay overnight in a tent. Most campsites offer a full package — including dinner, BBQ, breakfast, music, games, and sometimes kayaking or boating. 🔥 Imagine this: Bonfire + friends + music + stargazing + sound of water = perfect night vibes! Tents are usually lakeside and come with sleeping mats, pillows, and common clean washrooms. (Pro tip: Check reviews before booking!) --- 🍽️ Food & BBQ The typical dinner includes veg/non-veg thali with chapati, rice, dal, and sabji. Some camps offer BBQ starters like paneer tikka or chicken kababs. Nothing fancy — but fresh, local, and satisfying under the stars! 😋🌌 ☕ Don’t forget the evening tea and morning poha – simple but soulful. --- 🛶 Things to Do Around Pawna: ✔️ Chill by the lake with your feet in the water ✔️ Enjoy boating or kayaking at select camps ✔️ Play outdoor games – volleyball, cricket, archery ✔️ Visit nearby forts: Tung, Tikona, Lohagad, Visapur 🏯 ✔️ Ride around scenic roads for cool photo spots 📸 --- 🗺️ How to Reach: From Pune: Via Paud Road or Old Mumbai-Pune Highway From Mumbai: Via Lonavala (exit at Kamshet) 4-wheelers and bikes easily accessible. Roads are okay, but a bit patchy near the lake — drive slowly. --- 📝 My Tips: 🔹 Book a campsite with good reviews (some allow pets too!) 🔹 Carry warm clothes – it gets cold at night, even in summer 🔹 Don’t play loud music after 10 PM – respect the silence 🔹 Bring a power bank & flashlight 🔋 🔹 Avoid monsoon if you don’t like muddy areas --- 🔥 My Opinion: Pawna Lake is not just about water and tents — it’s an experience. You disconnect from the noise and connect with peace. Whether you're going with friends, your partner, or solo, the calm vibes and natural beauty leave you feeling refreshed.

Water & Amusement Parks
Large amusement park with rides, water slides, restaurants & an indoor park with artificial snow.
Truly one of the best theme parks in India till date. I visited during the off-season, so there was hardly any crowd—which was a big plus! I got to enjoy some of the top rides like Nitro, Gold Rush, and Deep Space not just once, but two to three times without long waiting lines. These rides are a must-try if you love thrill and adventure. The morning parade brings the park to life with characters and music, and the evening light and water show is a perfect way to end the day—really well done and full of energy. The quality of food inside the park restaurants is also surprisingly good, with decent options for both kids and adults. Overall, it's a complete day of fun, adventure, and entertainment.

Imagica is located at khopoli (approx 2 hours drive from Pune). It has a Theme park and a water park . One day is sufficient to do either of the two. In case one plans to do both; 2 full days are required. The rides are amazing and fun with family/ friends. Tickets can be booked online / offline. There are eateries inside the park. Amada serving amazing pizzas. Red bonnet serving fab burgers. Thali, buffet and jain food is also available. Locker facility available inside the park for your belongings. For water park dry fit attire is necessary. One can change once they r done with the rides. After 6 pm when the rides are closed there is a carnival in the premises. Also the park looks beautiful after sunset because of the lighting and fountains.

Imagica truly feels magical the moment you enter. Kids and adults enjoy rides equally Water flume ride = guaranteed fun & getting soaked Classic carousel = perfect for kids Indoor shooting ride = friendly competition Evening lighting = breathtaking The lake area becomes a photo-perfect spot after sunset The park is beautifully maintained, vibrant, and designed for family fun. --- ⚠️ Important Note: Crowd & Waiting Time Because we went during the Diwali peak break, the park was fully packed. Popular rides had 60–120 minute waiting Long queues even at food counters Only limited rides could be covered in one day Conclusion: Holiday seasons, long weekends, and school breaks = heavy crowd. --- 🎟️ Most Important Tip: Book EXPRESS Tickets If you’re going during a busy period (Diwali, New Year, summer vacation, long weekends), Express Tickets are strongly recommended. Yes, they cost extra — but they: ✔️ Reduce waiting time by 70–80% ✔️ Let you enjoy more rides ✔️ Save energy (especially with kids) ✔️ Make the trip stress-free Honestly, during festive seasons, Express Pass is the smartest and most valuable choice. --- 🕒 Best Time to Visit Imagica ✔️ Best Days (Less Crowd) Weekdays Non-holiday periods April-end to early June (exam season) 2–3 days after festivals ✔️ Best Time to Reach Park opens at 10:00 AM Recommended arrival: 9:15–9:30 AM (for parking & security) ✔️ Start Your Day With These Rides (shorter lines in morning) Nitro Deep Space Rajasaurus Scream Machine ✔️ Evening Parade & lighting show around 6 PM Lake area is perfect for photos --- 🧭 Planning Tips Before You Go ✔️ Book tickets online 2–3 days earlier ✔️ Carry water bottles, cap, and power bank ✔️ For kids, a stroller is helpful ✔️ Carry a rain poncho in monsoon season ✔️ Outside food is not allowed, but food combos are available inside --- 🏁 Final Verdict — Should You Visit? Absolutely YES! Imagica is one of the best family theme parks in India with amazing rides, beautiful ambiance, and great entertainment. But remember: ✔️ Holiday Season = Heavy crowd ✔️ Express Ticket = Best investment ✔️ Weekdays = Best overall experience Plan smart, go early, and your Imagica trip will turn into an unforgettable memory for your family!

A Magical Day at Imagica, With a Word of Advice! Our family visited Adlabs Imagica on October 21st, and what a day it was! From the moment we walked in, the park felt vibrant. The kids (and adults!) loved the rides. We had a blast getting soaked on the water flume, taking a spin on the classic carousel, and getting competitive on the indoor shooting ride. As evening fell, the park completely transformed with beautiful lights, making the whole place feel truly magical, especially the area around the lake. However, we need to share a very important tip. Our visit coincided with the peak Diwali festival break, and we weren't the only ones with the idea! The park was packed with families, which created a fantastic, festive atmosphere but also meant one thing: a huge rush. This led to a massive number of people in the queues and, as you'd expect, very long waiting times for all the popular rides. We still managed to have a great time and make wonderful memories (the pictures prove it!), but the waiting definitely took up a big part of our day. So, here is our number one piece of advice for anyone planning to visit Imagica during a busy period like Diwali, a long weekend, or any school holiday: It is highly advised to book the Express tickets. It might cost extra, but it will save you hours of standing in line and let you enjoy far more of the amazing attractions the park has to offer. Overall, a fantastic park for family fun, but plan smart during the holidays!

Imagica is a really good place to visit with friends and family. Wide variety of rides. Loved deep space ride, it's dark like space with starry ceiling and the speed of 200km/hour the twist and turns will surely challenge your brain equilibrium. Loved it the most. Then nitro roller coaster 160km/hour was amazing too. Gold rush with the speed of 80km/hour is at 3rd rank for me after Deep space and nitro. I for india, Mr india, salimghadh/ banghadh, were good too. Dead drop was a slight disappointing. Chota Bheem ride for kids, sloch monster were good for kids. Dancer / performer's were good treat. The water fountain show at the end of the day was soothing.

Charlotte Lake, also known as Sharlott Lake, is a serene reservoir located 2 kilometers from Matheran Railway Station in Maharashtra. It is a popular tourist destination and a must-visit spot in the best hill station of Maharashtra. The lake is at its fullest during the monsoon season, offering a picturesque view with its small dam and waterfalls. Surrounded by lush green forests, it provides an ideal setting for nature enthusiasts, peace seekers, and bird watchers.
This is probably the best place to spend time with the company of calmness in Matheran. To reach Charlotte Lake, it would require a little trekking following the trail in the wild. The lake is beautiful, totally worth the little trek to reach there. It feels peaceful to sit by the lake especially when you've got good company along with you. It's definitely a must visit place in Matheran.

Charlotte Lake & Lord’s View Point are next to each other. It’s known for the pretty sunsets, there are small stores close by that sell snacks and tea. It’s a small hike for 15min from the main path. It is super safe both at day and night to walk through the forest. I would recommend this place if you’re at Matheran for visit.
Jonah J — Google review
It's a must-visit if you're heading to this beautiful hill station. This serene spot lets you sit quietly by the lake, absorb the tranquility, and truly feel connected to nature. To reach the lake, you'll need to trek a bit through the forest — a refreshing and adventurous experience. While horse rides are also available, the walk through the woods is something you shouldn’t miss. ⚠️ A word of caution: During the monsoon, the path can get slippery, and accidents have happened in the past — so please be careful if you’re visiting during the rains.

Murud-Janjira Fort

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Murud-Janjira Fort is a stunning marine fortress dating back to the 15th century, boasting old canons and 19 bastions. Situated on an island 500m offshore, it is the most magnificent of the forts along the Konkan coastline. Built by the Siddis in 1571, descendants of slaves from Africa, this imposing citadel served as the capital of a princely state. Visitors are drawn to its magnificent architecture and rich history of battles fought here.
Great fort in middle of sea Need to go via boat during high tide , some say we can walk over if there is lil water Great and two of the biggest old canons can be seen here and multiple small canons There is lake inside and can get a great view from all the sides. Ferry tickets can be bought from the office on the shore.
Shubh — Google review
it's ancient structure, the top of the fort has good view and very wind breezy cool air. Apart from that it's mostly broken structures inside. It's long wait on weekends where you have to wait in boat for half an hour at least.
Sumit R — Google review
Murud Janjira Fort is a fascinating and historic place located in the middle of the sea near Murud Beach. The boat ride to reach the fort is quite an experience, offering beautiful views of the ocean and the fort as you get closer. The fort itself is very impressive, built with strong stone walls that have stood firm for centuries despite the constant waves and weather. Inside, you can explore old cannons, gates, and ruins that tell stories of its rich Maratha and Siddi history. The place gives a real sense of how powerful the fort must have been in its time. It’s best to visit in the morning or evening to avoid the heat and crowds. The boat staff are helpful, but safety instructions could be better organized. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone interested in history, architecture, or just a scenic sea experience. The combination of natural beauty and historical importance makes Murud Janjira one of the most unique forts in Maharashtra
Shekhar V — Google review
Janjira Fort is one of the strongest marine forts in India, famous for being unconquered despite several attacks by the Portuguese, British, and Marathas. Built over 350 years ago by the Siddis, this fort stands majestically in the middle of the sea, about 2 km from the Murud coast.
Nitin S — Google review
Must visit Fort in Maharashtra. The boat will drop you at the entrance. The boats have a schedule where they pick you up after 45 minutes. So you get to see the important points quickly before returning. We didn't get food and water from the fort. We can see two fresh water lakes in the middle of the salty sea.
ANISHA S — Google review
Very nice way to spend half a day, immersed in the history of the fort. The boatmen extort money, but if you can overlook that, then it's worth the info the give.
Ravi V — Google review
Visiting Janjira Fort is like stepping back into history. The fort stands strong in the middle of the Arabian Sea, and the boat ride to reach it is an adventure in itself. As you walk through its massive gates and explore the ruins, you can still feel the grandeur and strength of this once “unconquered fort.” The huge cannons, freshwater ponds inside the fort, and the endless sea views make the experience unforgettable. It’s amazing to think how such a powerful structure was built right in the sea centuries ago. The place can get hot during the day, so carrying water and wearing comfortable shoes is a must. Overall, Janjira is not just a fort it’s a living story of resilience, history, and the beauty of the Konkan coast.
Shivkumar K — Google review
An incredible slice of Indian history still remaining in an iconic condition well worth a visit by boat , for about an hour onshore. The skill and craftsmanship are classically inspiring . Get someone to guide your visit or at least find out more about the long history of this Island fortress , there was an original tunnel connection under the seabed back to the mainland as a last ditch escape route for the people . Ferry tickets and fort visitation are separate tickets but well worth it for such a rare piece of history . Sailing over and back by boat was very chilled out 😎
