Some of the salient features of this temple are…
The temple is in the form of Mada temple with steps faces east. Rajagopuras are on all four sides, of which the South Side Rajagopuram is of 7-tiers and east side is of 5-tiers. Balipeedam, Dwajasthambam and Suryan are at the end of the steps. Stucco image of Natarajar is on the top of the mukha mandapam. Dwarapalakas are on both sides of the entrance to sanctum sanctorum. The moolavar Shiva Lingam is in the form of a sthamba of about 15 feet tall from pedestal with a kavasam on the top. In koshtam Dakshinamurthy, Lingothbavar and Brahma.
Ambal Sri Bala Chamundika is in a separate sannidhi in the ardha mandapam. Ambal is in a standing posture, holding a lotus but in the right hand and left hand in dola hastam.
In praharam Ambal sannidhi, Shiva Linga Sannidhi, and Venugopalaswamy with folded hands. At the base level Thulabara Mandapa, vasantha mandapas, two 4 pillar mandapas, Annapoorani, Vinayagar, Arumugar (Kumarasamy/ Murugan), Bairavar, Navagrahas, Saniswarar, Gangadhara, Hanuman, Shiva Lingas, Nagars, Kannabiran, etc.
ARCHITECTURE
Sri Amareshwara temple was built in Devaswanam with three prakaras of Shiva, Ammavaru, Vishnu, Vinayaka and Surya and became famous as Panchayat Kshetra. Along with Sri Amareshwara Swami Sri Balachamundeswari Ammavari Devasthanams, there are 22 sub-devalayas in this temple complex. In the praharam, Shri Balachamundeshwari Amma Varu, the first prakaram is the shrine of Sri Jalamukhi Ammavaru in the western part and Sri Mahishasura in the eastern part.
The sanctum sanctorum is on a adhistanam and the Vimanam above the sanctum sanctorum was built with brick. The Vimana is of Dravidian style 2 tiers (totally 3, including adi tala) and greevam is of nagara style. Shiva, Dakshinamurthy, Maha Vishnu and Brahma are in the tala and greeva koshtas.
HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS
Chaturmukha Linga and a small mukhalinga sculpture, belongs to the Satavahana dynasty (1st–2nd centuries CE). Hence this temple was existed since Satvahana Dynasty.
In the Devasthanam of Lord Shri Amareswara Swamy, Kammanayakunisasana, Kotaketaraja's inscriptions are Anavemareddy Sri Krishnadevaraya Vasanamu. The edicts of Hendrakam Peddasam and Sri Raja Vasireddy Venkatadrinaidu can be seen. Sri Rajavasireddy Venkatadri Naidu, who made Venthapalli as his capital and ruled as Chintapalli as a zamindar, saw the sufferings caused by the spoons to the people and punished them. It is known that 108 Shiva temples were consecrated in Prakamuhurta in his Parakata for the purpose of atonement. Sri Venkatadrinaidu moved his capital from Chintapalli to Dhanyakataka in 1795 on the advice of Thina Amatyula. Dhanyakatakamu (Dharanikota) is known to have been the capital of the Satavahanas since the 4th century CE. The Tulabhara Mandapams built by Sri Krishna Devaraya and major renovations were carried out during his period. Sri Rajavasireddy Venkatadri Naidu can be found in the 2nd praharam. Sri Venkatadrinaidu named the area where the temple is located as Amaravati. During their reign, the present temple was renovated and the temple was blessed with constant incense offerings. Since Shiva saved Amaras- Devas from Tarukasura, called as Amaralingeswara.
Some Historians believed that this temple was a Buddhist temple and the same might have been converted as a Hindu temple at a later date.
Renovations and consecrations are conducted on 11th September 1992 and 2017.

This large ancient temple more than 1000 years old is located in Amaravati of Palnadu district in Andhra Pradesh, on the banks of Krishna river and is considered to be one of the Pancha Ramulu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located on a small hillock which is accessible by steps and there is also a car path way to reach to the top. The temple is renowned for its architecture which is said to be a conglomeration of Dravidian and Buddhist styles.
The garba graha houses the Shivlinga (Amareswar) and behind the same you would find a 15 foot marble Stupa structure on the top of which there is a Shivlingam. Abhishekam is performed for both the Shivalingas from the top by the priests, which is a divine sight to behold. There is also a shrine for Goddess Chamundeswari.
In the first prakaram there are shrines of Kalatheeswara, Kasi Viswanatha, Srisailam Mallikarjun, Venugopal Swamy and Chandeeswara. There is a small shrine for Surya Bhagwan also.
The firstouter prakaram houses the shrines of Ganapati, Kala Bhairva and Subramanya Swamy, besides the Sthala Vruksham which houses the idols of the serpant gods, Navagrahas, Hanuman and Sanishwar.
The second outer prakaram houses the shrines of Mahishasura Mardini, Kosaleswara, Veerabhadra, Praneswara, Annapoora Devi samtha Kasi Visveswara, Uma Maheswara & Dattatreya, Jwalamukhi, Agastheeswar and Someswara,
The temple thus is found quite large and it would take not less than an hour and a half for a complete darshan of all the Gods and Goddesses.
The temple offers lodging facilities (both AC and Non AC) for devotees at a nominal rate, which can be booked over phone. The devotees can have a holy bath in Krishna river in the morning and have darshan at the temple.

Visited Amareswara temple during Dussehra time. Had a wonderful time. Vicinity of the temple is clean, calm and positive. We had taken abhishekam ticket and the priest had performed the rituals very well. As the temple lies on the banks of river Krishna one can happily sit near the bank after darshan.

Had a peaceful and refreshing time at Ethipothala Waterfall. The view was stunning, and the sound of the water was so calming. Loved the natural beauty and the quiet atmosphere – felt like a perfect escape from the usual rush.
A nice quick half day road trip from Hyderabad. The greenary and waterfalls is worth trying if you don't want to travel too long for waterfalls. Not many people visit here and mostly people are unaware of this spot. So even on weekend there will not be much rush.
A beautiful tourist spot. The waterfalls look serene and the area around thr waterfall is even more pretty. Easily accessible by road, the place is safe to visit with family and friends. There is a restaurant that serves good tea and food. Perfect evening spot for a family outing. Better to go after monsoon to see the waterfall at its maximum flow.
This is a very beautiful waterfall located very close to Nagarjuna Sagar highway. You can get a closer view where they have built some sort of viewpoint. There is also a path to the bottom of the waterfall where you can have a closer view of the waterfall. Do visit this place if you are on your way from/to Nagarjuna sagar.

What is special here:
Ethipothala is located in side of the Amranadh tiger reserve forest and beautiful water fall from 800 mts hight, which makes you feel awesome. Water flow heavy during rainy season and become less towards March .
Time to visit: Best time is during Jun to Feb.
Fecilities:
Small shops available for snacks and cool drinks. But for stay there is a Haritha resort just beside the Water fall. For bookings visit govt website.
🚫Beware:. Lot of monkeys attack you, if you carry any snack items in your hand. Take care all the belongings including handbags. But not to worry they don't harm anyone.
Caution:Beware of sudden water pressure,not for children below 12yr,never play at edges of falls,since there are no lifeguards for help.
We had enjoyed a lot at perfect season,flow was mild but bad news was 3 deaths were reported two days before when we reached there,so we're little nervous.
Best place near Nagarjuna sagar. Located in boarder of Telangana and is nearby Nagarjuna sagar. Beautiful place. Those who are willing to stay there is stay from Haritha resorts and hotel also were there is limited food options are available. Sooo many monkeys are also there and have to alert if u have food with u. There is multiple view points available from were you can witness the waterfalls in many views

Located few kms away from highways in Nalgonda. One of the ancient, well maintained temple. Full temple are is maintained cleanly.
Car parking is available.
Huge temple area to sit and spend more time peacefully with family and friends.
Normal days crowd is less. We can spend 15 to 30 mins to visit completely. I think festival and special days the temple is more crowded. So plan and visit.
You can get only archana related items in the temple parking. No other shops, Foods, snacks, water bottle shops near by. So buy anything in advance if you need.
Overall a satisfying visit, where we can spend in hours during rush free days with the peaceful and chill air.

It’s very oldest and historical temple, the temple is located at Nalgonda district , it has a mysterious shadow in side the Garbha gudi back side of shiva Linga. Also we have seen Surya lingam/ Aathma lingam, overall it’s beautiful location
Historical temple, 1000 years old. Well known for it's architectural marvel. A shadow is formed behind the deity. There is a single pillar like shadow behind lord shiva throughout the day irrespective of sun's position.

Old and some what neglected place. People are coming only for photo shoots. Climbing on walls , stepping on idols. Really pathetic. No management seen. No door to to the temples. People eating food inside the temple and making dirty.

Wow what a nature oriented peaceful shiva temple with a kolanu(pond) in front of the temple with beautiful ducks, swams and lush greenery. This temple had a mystery thing that is chaya of pillar (shadow) falling in garba gudi on lingam which is a mystery because there is no pillar present there to produce shadow many archaeologists tried to solve this mystery but they failed to find 🚩🕉️
By the grace of God, Went to Chaya Someswara Temple in Nalgonda, really very good temple and every one must visit and seek blessings of God there, really a very great temple and still it is a history how Chaya is on the sivalingam through out the day irrespective of weather, so must visit this temple, in addition to that, it is the history of our Hindu and must visit and develop these temples

I recently visited the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam Temple near Hyderabad, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The temple’s architecture is truly magnificent — beautifully designed with intricate carvings and a serene atmosphere that immediately fills you with peace and devotion.
Inside the temple, the divine energy is so strong that you feel completely blessed and spiritually uplifted. Everything is well-organized, and the surroundings are clean and well-maintained. The view from the temple hill is also stunning, especially during sunrise or sunset.
Overall, it was an amazing and memorable experience. A must-visit place for anyone seeking peace, spirituality, and a glimpse of incredible South Indian temple architecture. I’d highly recommend visiting at least once in your lifetime! 🙏✨

Visited Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam at Yadagirigutta with my family, and it was a spiritually uplifting experience. The temple is beautifully built, well-maintained, and the serenity around the premises adds to the devotion. The idol and sanctum are very impressive, and the priests and staff are polite and helpful.
The temple schedules are followed diligently; crowd management is decent though it does get busy during peak hours. We arrived during a non-festive time, which made it more peaceful. The waiting time for darshan was reasonable, though having more facilities (drinking water, restrooms) closer to the main temple could improve the experience.
Overall, it’s a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Telangana, seeking peace, faith, and tradition.

A Brief History of the Temple:
Yadagirigutta, also known as Yadadri, is believed to be the place where Lord Narasimha appeared to Sage Yadava in a cave to bless him with knowledge, protection, and spiritual power. The sage performed deep penance here, and the deity manifested in five different forms, called Pancha Narasimha. Because of the sage’s devotion, the hill came to be known as Yadagirigutta – “the hill (gutta) of Yadava.”
The temple has always been a major pilgrimage site, but after the recent massive renovation project, it now resembles a grand ancient Kakatiya-style temple made entirely of hand-carved stone.
Parking & Transportation
1. Hilltop Private Car Entry – ₹500
If you want to take your private vehicle up to the top near the temple entrance, the entry charge is ₹500. This is the best option for families with elders or children. The road is clean, smooth, and well-managed.
2. Base Parking (Normal Parking)
You can park your vehicle at the foot of the hill. The parking area is spacious and secure. From here, the temple provides free bus service to the top.
The only drawback is that the buses can get very crowded, especially on weekends and festivals, so you may have to wait in line.
Entry Fee & Darshan Details
Minimum darshan entry fee starts at ₹100.
The price increases for special darshan, pujas, archana, homams, and other sevas.
Counters are well-marked, and staff guides you based on the type of puja or darshan you want.
Overall Experience
A very scenic driving route with a well-maintained temple and tasty prasadam laddus. The temple itself is beautiful, but the experience is ruined by extremely poor staff management, both at the temple and the parking area.
Parking & Entry
Parking costs ₹50, and they use the same point for both entry and exit, which creates long traffic jams. The staff handling parking are careless and take too much time collecting fees, causing unnecessary delays.
Reaching the Temple
After parking, you can either:
• Take a bus to the top (crowded and uncomfortable — they pack too many people in), or
• Pay ₹500 to drive your own vehicle up, which is a much better option.
Be prepared for jams at the entrance regardless, due to slow fee collection.
Temple Experience
Inside, the temple is clean and well maintained. However, the queue management is very poor, and the staff seem indifferent and unhelpful. Waiting times can be very long, especially on weekends.
• ₹150 ticket: For reduced waiting time, but still crowded during peak hours.
• ₹300 ticket: Usually opened in the evenings when the ₹150 line becomes overcrowded.
Best Time to Visit
Evenings are ideal — the weather is pleasant, and the view from the temple top after exiting the inner sanctum is beautiful.
A scenic and spiritual place that’s worth visiting for its view and temple cleanliness, but be ready for frustrating staff behavior and poor crowd management.
It was at a two hours journey from Hyderabad, the road was good. With a beautiful view on each side of the road.
Car Parking was for 500 and entry tickets for 150/300 Rs. a shuttle takes you to the hilltop with the ticket. Phones were strictly not allowed inside the temple and need to be deposited for Rs 10 each.
Inside the temple was extremely beautiful. This is an ancient temple of Narsimha awtaar of bhagwan Vishnu, from 12th century with much powerful vibrations

Temple is situated on a hill and has great view. Phone is not allowed inside temple. To reach the temple, you can climb the stairs or take the vehicle near temple premise. For the entry there is normal (which takes more time) and with ticket ₹150. Temple got the good architecture. The parking near temple is ₹500 for four wheeler, and if you park downstairs then it’s ₹50 and then you can take free bus for going up. With both ways there will be a little walk. You have to submit your phones ₹10 each. There is compound outside where you can seat, take photos.

I had all but given up on finding a great amusement park in Hyderabad, so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed myself here. The water park and the rides were all great fun. I have to commend them for the amount of thought and effort that went into making sure the visitor's experience is the best it could be. You could spend hours here and not want to go home.
The food was healthy. Even the banquet hall was really nice, it's great for any kind of function. If you invite people here for a gathering, there is no chance of your guests being bored.
All in all, I had a fantastic experience and I look forward to going back to Mount Opera again.

Food is average . Rides are not working properly. Some of them do not start till 11 a.m. No indoor games now, all removed. Staff is behaving like they are obliging you. Only water games/pool is good but that also runs for a limited hour
Excellent place to chill out with family. Have seen the owners dine with kids to ensure quality of food offered. Kids will have a wonderful time especially with clean wave pool and other water games. There is no other place that offers so many water games,rides and play area at this budget. The mirror house was good which is at the entrance on the right side.
Wave pool was good and rides are also fun, but changing room were too untidy, full of smell and no doors, very worst maintenace. Other than changing rooms all is good and we can enjoy with kids.
And we have to book cabs up and down, it is too hard to get cabs booked after 6 pm.
Ticket price is Rs. 500/- for adults including all rides, Rs. 400 for kids and Rs. 200/- for senior citizens. We havr to take seperate tickets for Go Karting and Boating.

Amazing place for movie maniac as a persona can actually visit the the seta where the movies were shot. Blockbusters like Bahubali and Chennai Express and many more were shot over there. The Eco tour has a bird & butterfly park. It even has multiple fine dine restaurant and street food kiosks. All in all a great place to spend with family and friends for the entire day
It's a place you must visit once. Good to go with family to enjoy the beautiful gardens, sceneries, fountains. Also experience the film making process.

The overall time we spent was justified for the price of the tickets. It is a well planned and maintained location. You'll definitely love it. Plus-Worthy cinematic experience, lots of different spots to explore, cute buses enroute you to different places, toilets and snacks at almost every stop.
Minus-Includes a lots of walk and temperature changes from AC vented halls to again back to normal temperature outside. So, be prepared to deal with regular temperature shifts!

Ramoji Film City is a Good place to visit with so much to explore and enjoy.
The Eureka zone, Baahubali set, Japanese Garden, Hawa Mahal, European Streets, and Evening Parks are some of the best attractions to experience. It’s perfect for a full-day outing with family and kids.
Though outside food isn’t allowed, water bottles and snacks inside are reasonably priced. However
we had to wait around 30 minutes for food after 2 PM at the Baahubali set, so the food service could be improved.
Management can review about the pricing - it feels slightly high, especially since lunch isn’t included in the package.
Visiting Ramoji Film City with my friends was absolutely epic and fully justifies its fantastic reputation. They have 2 package option AC/ Non-AC. Only difference in AC package it has buffet lunch included, and non-ac doesn't have dinner option one must pay for their own food. It is an full day activity so plan accordingly.
We hit all the highlights, and the energy we got from the sheer number of things to do made the whole day fly by—we give the experience a huge thumbs up!
The core of the day was the Studio Tour, which was far more impressive than just seeing static sets. Seeing the intricate details on the iconic streets, the massive temple facades, and the beautiful Indian and Japanese Gardens made for incredible photo opportunities for our group. The undeniable highlight of this section was the Bahubali Set. Walking through the gigantic Mahishmati kingdom was surreal; we spent ages exploring the throne room, the massive bells, and the various props, totally losing ourselves in the grandeur of that fictional world.
For the adrenaline junkies in our group, the side trip to Sahas Adventure Land was a must. Tackling the ATV track was a blast—it was the perfect way to burn off some energy and enjoy some real speed and dirt-kicking fun, moving from the fantasy sets to a real-life action sequence.
We made sure to catch a Live Show, which was the perfect moment to sit down and be entertained. The vibrant choreography and the stunt work were fantastic, adding that extra layer of cinematic excitement. And since we were there during the festival, the Carnival atmosphere topped everything off! The colorful parades, extended timings, and general festive buzz added so much energy and color to the end of our trip.
Finally, the Bird Park and Butterfly Park were surprisingly beautiful and provided a wonderful, peaceful contrast to the high-energy sets and adventure sports. It was a serene way to wrap up the sightseeing before heading home.
A quick tip for groups: The park is huge, so divide your time wisely! Start with the sets and adventure, and don't forget comfortable shoes. Ramoji is definitely a trip worth taking with your best friends—it’s non-stop fun from the moment you step off the bus!

I visited yesterday and absolutely loved the entire experience! The rides were super thrilling and well-maintained. From the high-adrenaline roller coasters to the fun water slides, everything was just perfect. The park was clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and safety measures were properly followed.
We tried the Fast Track option and it saved a lot of waiting time. Totally worth it!
Also, the wave pool and rain dance were highlights of the day.

Wonderla Hyderabad is definitely a fun place to spend the day, but there are a few things visitors should keep in mind. First and most important – book your tickets online only. The offline counter charges almost double the price compared to online booking, which feels unfair. It would be much better if Wonderla considered keeping at least equal or similar prices for both online and offline tickets to make it easier for everyone.
Another point is the food prices inside the park, which are very expensive. If the food costs were more reasonable, it would add to the overall experience.
One good tip: if you plan your trip via TSRTC buses, you can get an additional 15% discount on your entry tickets, which is a nice saving.
Overall, Wonderla is enjoyable, but booking online and planning your food options wisely will make your visit much better.
The place is great to visit during the summer holidays it has many rides that can be played with family. The price is a little high but service is great. I would recomend to visit during Monday or Tuesday there will be less crowd on these days.

We visited Wonderla on July 30, 2025, and had an amazing time. The only disappointment was missing the Giant Wheel and Roller Coaster, which were under maintenance. Apart from those, we tried almost every ride and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had an amazing experience at Wonderla Hyderabad! I’d definitely recommend getting the Fastrack ticket — it’s absolutely worth the extra ₹1000. We upgraded after reaching there, and it saved us from standing in long queues, especially since there were many school groups visiting that day.
The rides are thrilling and give a real adrenaline rush, especially the high-intensity ones — some of them are truly mind-blowing! The giant wheel, however, is skippable if you’re short on time.
A few tips:

The museum aspect itself was really intriguing and fun, it’s always cool to explore the history of the places you stay in,and this one is a must visit for anyone.
However, the best part for me was the serenity and peace that I felt while being there, they are doing a great job of cleaning the place up and presenting it beautifully.
My only complain is that I came while they’re doing some restoration and had scaffolding around which made the experience less pleasant but not too bad.

The King's Throne area is simply out of this world! ✨ I was left wondering how someone could build something so impressive and truly majestic. It’s breathtaking!🥰
But for me, the best part was the car museum! 🚗 It's an absolute heaven for any car enthusiast. They have the one and only 1912 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, known as the "Throne Car."👑 Seeing it in person was unreal!
They also have other classic cars from Ford and others,🏎️ all over 100 years old. It's like stepping back in time.
And there's more! The museum also has an amazing collection of art, along with a display of historical war material. 🗡️🤯 Seeing 100-year-old swords and guns was so fascinating.
This place truly has something for everyone. I can't recommend it enough!💯

A museum beyond imagination. So many varieties of displays and very well maintained. It has more than 40 galleries and takes around 3-4 hours if one visits all the galleries and devotes reasonable time. I liked the glassware galleries most. Though there are restaurants inside the main building, they offer limited variety of food. So one should plan the visit keeping in view his/ her lunch timings. There are one or two restaurants on the backside of the premises of the museum as well. A must visit place in Hyderabad.

It’s very big and it shares knowledge about the history. The highlight of this museum is Clock which was manufactured in 19th century still functions great and the dynamics is really amazing.

Great food but the rooms are not up to the mark. We went via a corporate booking for 40-50 people and In some rooms there was no hot water or the room was smelly. The waterfall outside the room was not clean. The hospitality and service was really good. Loved all the dishes served during the lunch, dinner and high tea. Did not experience the breakfast and other facilities other than the conference room
Fantastic place for team outing, family outing with big playgrounds, indoor games and big swimming pool with rain dance facility. Ambience was great with tasty food spread.
One suggestion for improvement. During lunch only one plate is allowed to be used. With such a large buffet spread the plate becomes unusable after one or two servings. But the staff obliged to give another fresh plate when the manager intervened after initially rejecting to give one. Overall good place to spend a day and have fun.
We visited Leonia Holistic Destination for a day outing and were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. Our package did not include a buffet, but we opted for lunch at the à la carte restaurant, which turned out to be quite satisfying.

We went there for a company party, but we thought that conference hall and other surroundings need to be maintained well and lifts are also not good.
Swimming pool is well maintained and dj is also good. It has both indoor and outdoor games are present. Indoor games space is very less near swimming pool.
Had a pleasant stay at Laggon Bay with private pool. Except the bathroom facility (a bit stinking) rest everything is well maintained.
The lavish and large varieties of buffet food is well served and impressive.
Indoor games are also well organized.
There is something for everyone at Leonia. The place is a little run down, the food was decent, but it was a nice quiet escape from Diwali. I appreciate their commitment to keeping the natural environment clean and safe.

It’s crazy how they completely built it with marble. It looks stunning. Due to the marble, it feels colder inside and when you are roaming around. The view from there is also nice as you can see the whole Hyderabad city. You can also see the Buddha statue, Sagar Lake, etc. If you like architecture, definitely worth visiting
Beautiful temple with peaceful atmosphere and great city view!
We visited Birla Mandir on a Saturday — it wasn’t very crowded, and we could enjoy the full view of Hyderabad from the top. The temple is truly beautiful and peaceful. We took an auto from the main road below; it cost ₹80, but the driver dropped us only near the gate, not up to the parking area.
Phone keeping, footwear keeping, and bag keeping are all free, but when collecting our footwear, the person there asked for some money. Some renovation work was going on during our visit. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the toilets — much better than most public places in India!
Photography and cameras are not allowed inside the temple. To reach the gate, you have to walk up a small road lined with shops from the main road below — it’s only about 200 to 250 meters, so it’s an easy walk even if you don’t have a vehicle.
Overall, a must-visit place in Hyderabad for peace, spirituality, and a stunning city view.

There's more to the Birla Temple in Hyderabad. The view at the top of the temple facing the Hussain Sagar Lake and the Secretariat building is mesmerizing and beautiful during evening time. Since cellphones aren't allowed inside temple, we can't capture most of it. There's five smaller mandirs of different gods inside the temple like Hanuman ji, Shiv ji and others. The whole temple is carved out beside a rocky mountain completely made of white marble. It's a must visit when visiting Hyderabad.
It's really a nice spiritual place to have time and there is Venkateshwara swamy idol inside it and you can enjoy the view of traffic from the top and clouds, budha statue, tank bund and secretariat and etc.,

I visited Golconda Fort , and it was a really good experience! It’s definitely one of the best historical places to visit in Hyderabad. The entry ticket costs just ₹25 per person, and there was no waiting time at all, which was great.
The fort is huge, and as you climb up, you’ll come across Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas — both are beautiful spots that give you a glimpse into the royal architecture of the past. There’s also a small temple inside the fort, which adds a peaceful touch amidst the grand structure , there are some old canon as well there.
You’re allowed to carry snacks inside, but not full food items. The climb to the top is a bit tiring, but totally worth it. Once you reach the top, the view is absolutely amazing — you can see a wide stretch of Hyderabad city from there. It’s truly breathtaking and perfect for photos!
I also heard that there’s a secret tunnel or cave that connects Golconda Fort to Charminar, but I couldn’t find where it is. Maybe it’s hidden or closed off now, but it’s quite fascinating to think about how they built such things back then.

I got the chance to visit on a Saturday while in town for work and had a great time. The grounds are large and sprawling, and we easily spent about 2-3 hours exploring here. We arrived just before 11AM, and was not too crowded despite being a popular destination amongst tourists and locals alike. It definitely started ramping up as we were leaving, so it seems like morning hours may be the most peaceful. We chose not to hire one of the tour guides near the entrance and just explored on our own.
I found the passageways and arches to be simultaneously maze-like and stunning. Although many parts of the fortress were in disrepair, it was exciting to imagine what daily life was like within these walls. While wandering around, I could visualize the ghosts of past millennia as their footsteps echoed through the magnificent stone walls and structures.
After climbing to the top of the fort, we enjoyed the panoramic views of the city while dwelling in the strong, cool breeze, wicking away our sweat from the sunny day.
People were genuinely curious to chat and take pictures together, and overall it was a very welcoming experience.
The fort is massive, with strong stone walls, ramparts, and well-preserved ruins. The layout and design are considered very impressive and photogenic. Climbing to the top gives really nice panoramic views of Hyderabad. Especially recommended to visit in the evening or around sunset to get the best views.

Peaceful Darshan at Wargal Temple, but Parking & Safety Need Improvement
Hi all! I recently visited Sri Vidya Saraswathi Shani Temples, Wargal along with my father, mother, younger sister, and our lovely pet dog Sweety (Indian Pomeranian). This visit was part of our trip to Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swami Temple - Vemulawada, and we made a stop at Wargal temple on the way.
🙏 Darshan Experience:
The darshan (దర్శనం) was very peaceful and spiritually fulfilling. The temple's architecture is beautiful, and its elevated structure gives it a divine presence. The steps leading up are quite steep, but the climb feels worth it once you reach the sanctum.
🌳 Parking Concerns:
However, I did face a minor issue with the parking area. Some security personnel were allowing vehicles to go closer to the temple, while others were not — which felt a bit inconsistent. I had to park down the hill, where there was no proper shed or tree cover. This becomes a problem especially when you have pets or elderly people in the car.
I request the temple management to consider planting trees — not just for vehicles but for devotees to rest and eat, as many families bring homemade food and prefer sitting under shade (a very Indian tradition!).
🕉️ Religious Observations:
One more concern — I’ve noticed recently (including at this temple), that priests are not placing the Shatagopuram on devotees' heads unless money is offered. This is not in alignment with Sanatana Dharma (సనాతన ధర్మం) and must be addressed. Spiritual blessings should never be conditional.
🐾 Special note: I really appreciate that we could bring our pet along, and I hope more religious places become pet-aware and inclusive.
🌸 Lotus Pond Concern:
They also have a beautiful lotus pond, but sadly, it’s maintained in a very careless way. The fencing is broken on one side, which is a serious safety hazard — especially for children, elderly, or even animals. If someone slips due to parental negligence or poor maintenance, it could lead to a tragic accident.
I strongly urge the temple authorities to fix the fence and add warning signs immediately.
✅ Overall:
A divine temple with serene energy, but needs serious attention in terms of parking, safety, and religious discipline. With a few improvements, this can become one of the most ideal temples for family visits.

I want to share you my experience of that how we got scammed .

After parking the bike , a man approached us and showed the directions to darshan . He picked us and went to a shop where the shop contains tulasi mala and coconuts . They told to buy them , we thought of 100 or 150 rupees for 2 coconuts and one tulasimala , shopkeeper told us the cost is 380 rupees . We conveyed of not buying them , then they took out helmets and warned us to buy otherwise we won't letgo from here . And as last option we Buyed that of spending 380 rupees on that.

Beware of that scams , the shopkeeper who scammed us , we took a video and photo of them from long distance.

I attached photos and videos in this review of them , the woman in redcolour saree sitting far is the one who scammed us .

And last we enquired the cost of same things that we spent 380 . And the actual cost of it is 120 rupees . Beware of that scams.

Sri Anantha Padmanaba Swamy temple is located on Ananthagiri hills of Vikarabad. Its around 80km from Hyderabad, very pleasant. There entry to a small cave is narrow, where the idol is worshipped. According tohistory, the temple was built by Rishi Markandeya in Dwapara Yuga, and it is believed that Anantha Padmanabha meditated for 400 years to worship Lord Vishnu. Devotees can enter the cave to worship Lord Vishnu between 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Very good experience. Plenty of parking for 4 wheelers.
We visited the temple early in the morning, but the priest didn't arrive until 9 a.m. After parking our car, we completed our darshan and then descended the steps to see the temple's koneru and ancient trees. We also saw a film crew shooting in the forest below. Since the area lacks proper maintenance and good restaurants, it's best to either bring your own food or find a meal in a nearby town.

Shaligram deity of Sri Ananth Padmanabh Swami inside a cave-like room. It is Swayambhu deity of the Lord. The temple has stairs to the origin of Muchkund river (now called Musi).
This is the place where demon Kalyavan was burnt by the fire from Muchkund's eyes when Kalyavan awoke him by hitting thinking he is Krishna.
As per the history available on the temple premises, it is a Hindu temple with thousands of years history.
Devotees visit from Not only from Telangana but also from Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
There is Pushkarini called Bhavanasini for a holy dip.
Facilities are good.
Very pleasent place, both spiritually and nature wise. Not too far from Hyderabad city. Only challenge is the food, exceptnfor Haritha, no other place to eat. So, plan accordingly

Beautiful and peaceful spot near Hyderabad with great views and calm vibe. 20₹ bike parking fee is collected by a police staff with a receipt. No food or water available on-site, you’ll need to go to Vikarabad town for that. Also no security staff around, which can be a concern for some visitors. This Hindu temple is accessed by wading through a cave with water around four to five feet deep.
Travelled from Hyderabad to this temple by the time we reached there weather was cool and pleasant , there is lush greenery all over near temple and hills . Now coming to temple before we enter into we have pass through shops.in order pray Narasimha Swamy we have to water walk and water level is greater than 4 feet and the cave is air conditioned . There are 3 idols in the cave . I suggest everyone to buy darshan tickets along with locker tickets if you wanna use lockers and they are not free . Prices are 10 rupees per person for darshanam and 20 rupees for a locker.

Bidar Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple (also called Narasimha Jhira / Jharni Cave Temple):
Key Facts/legend:
The temple is a cave temple located in Bidar, Karnataka. It is dedicated to Lord Narasimha (an avatar of Vishnu).
According to legend, after killing the demon Hiranyakashipu, Narasimha went on to kill another demon named Jalasura (Jharasura). Jalasura was a devotee of Lord Shiva, and while dying, he asked Narasimha to stay in his cave and bless devotees. Jalasura then turned into water which flows from the deity’s feet. This is the origin of the name “Jhira / Jharni” (water) Narasimha. The deity is said to be swayambhu (self-manifested).
What Makes It Unique:
Devotees walk through a tunnel/cave for about 300 meters through water that is waist-deep to reach the sanctum. The water is reported to have medicinal/sulphur properties useful for skin conditions. The space in the inner sanctum is quite limited: only about 8–9 people can view the deity at a time.

You will get positive vibes.
Water in the tunnel is dirty may be because many devotees come to this temple for darshan. Water in tunnel is upto 5 feet at the entrance but sir that is only 4 feet. You can hold the wall and pass the entrance.

Absolute chaos. The management of this temple is extremely poor. Long serpent like line. Ticket counter is a fighting ring. 1 luggage counter with a box like window manned by 1 person who takes and also gives luggage overwhelmed by crazy crowd. He refused to take luggage as there were no more lockers left. Total miss management. Shops outside provide for towels but heard the changing rooms are bad but cannot confirm this info. Rs 100 special darshan is also in super crowded so no difference from general line.

A very unique triple moat structure and winding pathways inside this fort may make you feel very cramped at the start but the moment you enter inside there is a lot of open space. Quite an underrated spot.
Bidar Fort is one of the most underrated historical gems in Karnataka. The fort complex is massive and beautifully spread out, with impressive architecture, intricate carvings, old mosques, palaces, and gateways that reflect the Bahmani Sultanate’s rich history. The calm atmosphere and panoramic views from the fort walls make it a peaceful place to explore. It’s a great spot for history lovers, photographers, and even casual visitors who just want to enjoy an offbeat heritage site.
On the flip side, maintenance could be better. Some areas are neglected, with overgrown grass and litter in corners. Information boards are limited, so unless you go with a guide, it can be difficult to understand the historical significance of each structure. Basic amenities like clean washrooms, drinking water, and food stalls are lacking inside the fort, so carrying your own water is a must.
Overall, Bidar Fort is a must-visit if you are in or around Bidar. With better upkeep and tourist facilities, it has the potential to be one of the top heritage attractions in South India.

Worth a visit, fort is huge and built very well. Astonishing work. It has several layers to protect the rulers from enemy attacks. It is Kakatiya dynasty site captured by Tughlak. There is a small museum which has hindu relics and weapons used in that period. Small cafeteria is available inside for snacks and beverages. No entry or parking fee.
The fort visit was pleasant, CAR parking available. Good for photoshoot (mobile). Monsoon is the best time to visit. Well maintained. Fort closes at 5pm.

Riverfront temple of the Goddess Saraswati, Hindu goddess of knowledge & learning.
The main deity of the temple is godess Saraswati the godess of knowledge and learning. Parents with their young kids visit the temple and perform a very special kind of Pooja called "Aksharabhyas" which means the initiation of formal schooling. In Hindu Sanskriti, it is also known as Vidyarambh Sanskara, one among sixteen Sanskaras of human life. Today it was Tuesday and there were a few pilgrims at the temple. So we had a great Darshan and enjoyed peaceful spiritual moments in the Presence of the Goddess. There are ample staying facilities run by the temple authority also there are enough hotels, guest houses and Dharmashalas surrounding the temple. The river Godavari flows just 2 km away. Overall a great pilgrim experience. Five Stars.

Happen to visit this temple recently.. It's one of the most famous pilgrimage places in South India. This temple is an abode of goddess Sarswati (The goddess of education). This temple is usually floated with devotees who bring their kids for Akshara Abhyasam ( A ceremony to seek blessings before they step into the school). Very powerful diety.
It is the only temple in the world where the custom of having children's initials written for their education is practiced. Traditional Indian families from all over the world come here to have their children learn to read and write.
Similarly, those who have lost their mental peace and are disappointed in life come here to undergo mantra initiation in the meditation hall. Here, mantra initiation and accommodation are provided free of cost to the initiates. There are many who have completed the 41 days of meditation as per the rules of the fast and have started their life again with new energy and enthusiasm.
Visited on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Surprisingly, there wasn’t much rush — the darshan was completed in just 10 minutes. Opted for the ₹200 paid darshan, which was smooth and well-managed. Overall, a peaceful and quick experience.

Aksharabhyasam is done here for the é 1kids those who will start schooling.
There are separate pooja done here.
1000/- and 150/- are the prices.
1000/- pooja is done on Gharba Gudi in thr temple.
If you want to do Aksharabhyasam in 1000/- better to bring fruits, kumkum and rice by your own. All these items are costly here.
They take pictures of the pooja and sell them to you at thr cost of 100/- per print which is costly. The temple officials should look into the matter.
There is a Godavari ghar is also there to visit.
The place was so peaceful, and you’ll instantly get all those devotional vibes once you arrive. The surroundings are exceptionally clean, and the people maintain great hygiene. We visited the temple on 5th July 2025, and as there was no crowd, we opted for the free darshan. Outside the temple, you can find many food stalls, perfect for lunch or dinner.
I also recommend visiting "Vedavathi Shila," which is nearby. It’s a large rock that produces a metallic or musical sound when struck with a small stone—quite a unique experience! Additionally, the serene Godavari River is close to the temple and worth exploring.
Hindu religion beleive that Saraswati Devi is the goddess for the wisdom so every one plan to do aksharabyasam here for their children.

The behavior I witnessed at the Gurudwara stands in stark contrast to his principles. Acting with such partiality and rudeness is disrespectful to his legacy and diminishes the very values he lived and taught.
The Gurudwara in Nanded is truly beautiful inside, but based on my experience, the staff and some people around were extremely partial and rude towards non-Sikh visitors. I visited of my own choice; no one forced me to go. Yet, once inside, it is unacceptable for non-Sikh visitors to be ignored, dominated, or treated rudely simply because of their religion.
At a place of God, there should be no partiality, and everyone should be treated with respect. My intention was only to offer my gratitude to God, but the rudeness and disregard shown toward non-Sikh visitors was deeply disappointing.
In summary, while the Gurudwara is magnificent, I sincerely request that all visitors, regardless of religion, be treated with equal respect.

Saffron cloths are provided for covering your head when going. It looks especially beautiful at night time. It is quite a serene place.

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva in india. There's q dispute between marathis and Gujarati samaj as they consider Nageshwar jyotirlinga as the correct jyotirlinga whereas marathi people have their devotion here. It's a task to have the darshan and would recommend to avoid during savan and mahashivratri days due to long queue upto 6 hrs. We paid 200 rupees per person and still ended up standing 3 hrs in line because of the temple build .

I love this spiritual place. A very beautiful temple has been built and you can do puja abhishek inside by taking water yourself. There some priests will ask you for water abhishek and ask for money, please stay away from such people. Otherwise it is a very good place.
Aundha Nagnath situated in Hingoli district is revered by some to be the actual Nageshwar jyotirling in conflict with the one near Dwarka, Gujarat and the one in Darukawan, Jharkhand. One can come here from Nanded, Hingoli, or Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. It is a beautiful temple of Lord Shiva. It has marvelous carvings all over its walls and has its top rebuilt with white marble. The wait was quite long, even though we took special Darshan which costs 200/-. It took an hour and half for us to get there. The Garbhabriha is situated underground and one to go in through a narrow set of steep steps with the help of a rope, and come back out through the same. Overall, it is a very spiritual place.

The temple architecture is ancient and beautiful, full of carvings and history. The atmosphere is full of positive vibes, and darshan of Lord Shiva was a blessed moment for me 🙌🚩.

This one of the Jyotirlinga not amount the 12 but apart from them there are many others.
It is a 6 hr drive from Hyderabad but since we stayed in Nanded it was just couple of hours. Visited ona Monday and that too Sawan Somwar. The rush was minimal and we were able to come out in couple of hours with proper darshan.
The feeling to see ShivSambhu is amazing.
Though not listed in the actual Jyotirlinga list, locals believe that this temple is one of the 12 jyotirlingas. The deity is in the basement of the inner sanctum of the temple and the devotees need to bend and pass down to have the darshan of the Lord Shiva. The temple has beautiful carvings on the walls and pillars. One of the very ancient temples and kudos to the architects who sculptured the temple.

For trail to Devi mandir and lake point, you will need 40 Rupees ticket per person. Tickets will be available on the spot. There are monkeys during trail, no harm though.

The lake is natural miracle but surroundings are not kept well. You will not found any good restaurant around here.

Book a forest car at 300 Rs for 4 people and have a round of lake. Its a High Impact createrformedi 5 lakh years ago. Water is having pH of 11.

It is surrounded by ancient temples, including the Gomukh Temple which showcases intricate carvings and sculptures.
The lake is home to both endemic birds like peacock, migratory species like the flamingo as well as reptiles like monitor lizards.
Trekking around the crater is a very popular sport.

A nice strawberry farm in Mahabaleshwar that allows plucking. The kids enjoyed this. They also have several other plantations, some of which are available for sale. Good experience, nice views, reasonable pricing.
There are many locations and farms in the area for this activity but I landed up here and found
1. Very simple and sweet people
2. Fully Organic cultivation
3. Very limited guests
4. No cheating on weight, quality and amount
5. They have other vegetables too and they also organic
6. Nice location for bird watching near school and opposite side of road with a minute walk
7. Very much accessible between other tourists locations like Ket’s Points, Botanical Garden, Mipro Garden etc

It's the plantation season now so there's no strawberrys for us to pick or see planted. 5 stars as this is the best spot and visit here often. The owner said the farm will be up by next 2 months
A must visit! Truly an amazing experience plucking strawberries. We also got a chance to pluck various vegetables. The farm has various vegetables and fruits along with strawberries.The cost is reasonable. All fruits and vegetables are fresh. Owner and his family are very down to earth and helpful. They are very welcoming. We enjoyed every minute we spent in the farm.
I recently visited Laxmi Strawberry Farm and it was a fantastic experience. The farm was well-maintained and the rows of ripe strawberries were abundant. I was able to pick my own strawberries, which was a fun and interactive activity. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, providing information about the growing process and tips for picking the best berries. I also had the opportunity to try some of their homemade strawberry products, which were delicious. I highly recommend a visit to this farm for a fun and educational experience, not to mention the fresh and juicy strawberries.
