Wonderful experience to behold the marble rocks of all hues and colours. However the boating experience needs attention by the authorities so far as the passenger safety is concerned.

I heard about this in my childhood textbook. In textbook, author describe about their experience on Full Moon night. This time we visited at broad Daylight, but it is marvelous to observe around 100 feet high marble rockline while boating through Mata Narmada River from Bhedaghat at Jabalpur. I will visit again to experience it on Full Moon Night.

Boating is amazing. They will ask you to pay more for going far once you reach the Bhoolbhulaiya point. If you want you can try, it has better rocks. Or else till Bhoolbhulaiya point also it is good. Many movie shootings have happened here. Try to take the motor boat as they can take you much deeper.

The Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat are stunning tall white cliffs rising on both sides of the Narmada, best seen on a peaceful rowboat ride. Sunset or full-moon boat rides are magical, and Dhuandhar Falls nearby make the trip complete.

Picturesque location, pristine beauty a must visit place. Take a ropeway on the other side of the location take nano safari or walk for 2 km you will reach to this view point. This is roaring Narmada

This waterfall is so beautiful that it is the best waterfall of India and it is a marble waterfall. The Narmada river is flowing through this waterfall and this Narmada river itself is one of the most beautiful rivers of this country and when you come to this waterfall, it will seem that the Niagara falls will make a sound exactly like it. Its chitons will come on you from far away and it will seem that you are in heaven. You are not going to feel better than this anywhere else, so definitely come to this place. Sit here and enjoy this place and eat good food. There are many photo sessions here because this waterfall is very close. It will be. You can touch it now if you feel like it or click a lot of photos.

One of the most striking aspects of the temple is its historical significance and the sense of mysticism that surrounds it. If you're visiting Jabalpur, the Chausath Yogini Temple is a must-see — a perfect blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.

This temple is among one of the best things about Jabalpur. A flight. Of cobbled stone stairs takes you up to the ancient temple. The views of the surrounding area and Maa Narmada from the temple, are awesome. There is peace and tranquility, and if you have time then this place is ideal for meditation and quiet contemplation. I visited the temple thrice in a span of 24 hours and it was an amazing experience.

It is an ancient temple just around half kilometres away from the famous Dhuandhar waterfall in Bhedaghatt near Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The place is too calm and one can enjoy the scenic beauty of sunset at it's fullest. One have to go through around 200 stairs.

This is the temple that inspired the design of the old Parliament building constructed by the British. It is a rock structure with elegant carvings and beautiful sculptures. Very nice experience. It is a must visit place whenever one comes to Jabalpur. It is on the way to Bhedaghat. A tip to visitors: it gets really hot so do carry a water bottle. Also, stairs are quite steep so take adequate breaks in between or else you could faint due to tiredness.

To tell you the truth, this temple is a very beautiful temple. This temple has its own unique thing.To visit this temple, you will have to go to Bedaghat. From there, you will find this temple at a walking distance and a local bus runs from this temple. Which will take you to the city, so you will not face any problem in transportation. You must visit this temple wherever you go. To reach this temple, you will have to climb many stairs. But after going up, you will get a beautiful view. You will feel that all your climbing up was worth it and after going to this temple, you will feel very relaxed and good. When I went inside this temple, pictures were not allowed.

Due to the incessant rains the water level has increased and you can't see the waterfalls properly. But still you should visit this place. Its majestic.

Mesmerizing place. Try to come on weekdays or morning for better view. Negotiate with shopkeepers if buying something. No need to take a guide. Way has slopes and stairs, but manageable. Bring a bottle from home if you want to fill Narmada water.

We had been to this water fall during our return journey towards Pune from Maha Kumbh mela. One of our friend knows about this location, so he suggested to take halt at Jabalpur in the night and then we visited this waterfall next day morning. The Dhuandhar falls is located on the Narmada River at Bhedaghat at 30 meters high and 30km away from the city. The Narmada River, making its way through the Marble rocks narrows down and then plunges into a waterfall. Viewing platforms have been constructed along the side to facilitate proper views. Interesting Facts about this waterfall: 1.The name of this waterfall is derived from two Hindi words "Dhuan" and "Dhar". Dhuan means smoke, the mist created by water falling on hard rock creates visuals of smoke emanating from the river bed and hence it is called Dhuandhar or Smoke Cascade. Dhar means falling down, the white water pummels down to form a gorge known as the Marble Rocks. 2. Beauty of this Water fall is the plunge, which creates a bouncing mass of mist, is so powerful that its roar can be heard from a far distance. another good thing is that we can see the beauty of water over Cable car which connected from East bank to West Bank of the Narmada River. Rope Car crosses the river and then drops tourists off at the west bank of the river. 3. Visitors can take boat ride on the river to visit nearby marble rocks. These rocks are a unique geological formation with a series of marble cliffs rising from the river. This waterfall is often referred to as the Niagara Falls of India because of the speed with which the water falls down. 4. This tourist site is most crowded during the Narmada Mahotsav where people from across the country visit the Jabalpur district to celebrate the festival grandly beside the Dhuandhar, under the full moonlight.

A must-visit waterfall in Jabalpur. The water falls down with so much force that it creates a mist like smoke (hence the name 'Dhuandhar'). The area is well-maintained with proper fencing. There’s no trek involved here — you can directly walk from the parking area to the viewpoint in about 3 minutes. Parking is available at ₹20 for two-wheelers. No entry ticket needed. Ropeway facility is available here for ₹100 per person one way. Visit during monsoon or right after for the best water flow. Avoid weekends if you don’t like crowds.

Peaceful, not crowded nature place.

I visited Sangram Sagar Lake yesterday and it was truly peaceful. The lake is quite big, and the cool breeze and calm surroundings make it a perfect spot to relax. What I loved most was the small waterfall that forms when the lake overflows it was beautiful to watch. There's also a temple right at the shore and a small fort visible on the other side of the lake, which gives the place a nice historical touch. Overall, it felt like a hidden gem away from the city noise.

It's an unforgettable experience being there. A lot of scenery and the joggers park by the side. Bajnamath Batuk Bhairav Temple view adds a serene feel. The passage is lush green and a lot of bird activities are always there. You can see the Madan Mahal Forte and Bawadi from this place which adds to the historical importance of this place .

 Sangram Sagar Lake is a water body located near Bajnamath fort in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. It's known for its connection to King Sangram Shah, a Gond ruler, who is believed to have built the fort and possibly the lake.

Do not go from Danav Baba temple side. Go from Bajnamath Mandir side since there you would find a nice place to walk and sit. From Danav Baba temple side, which can be reached via Shakti Nagar, there is nothing apart from outskirt forest and a abandoned lane.This side is usually gathered by drunkards. Not a safe place to take family. Please take this into consideration. The lake is not so big as shown in maps. Just in rainy season the water level increases. Otherwise the water level is very low in other seasons.

Good place to visit even for the non Jains. Sunset time is notably worth visiting. It's a little hill post, but the stairs are very low rise, about 4-5" sizes, around 380 in number in all. No elevator, no palki.

Shree Maa Narmada Temple' is situated in the middle of the Narmada River. One can go here by boat, the view of the entire Gwarighat from the temple is worth seeing. Narmada Mahaarati is held here every evening at 7:00 PM which is similar to ganga aarti in varanasi.

I visit the Narmada River In Jabalpur every year, and each time it feels like a deeply spiritual experience. Attending the evening aarti is truly magical, goosebumps start the moment it begins . Kachnar City Shiva Temple is a beautiful and serene place. This is a private property and is very well maintained. The majestic and divine open-air statue 76 ft tall Shiva idol captivates you as soon as you enter the premises. There is a Cave Underneath which contains the replicas of the 12 Jyotirlinga. The temple premises is clean and very well-maintained, with open spaces and lots of greenery that adds to its peaceful surroundings. It is surrounded by gardens where one can relax. The temple generally sees a less or moderate crowd, but the real beauty and devotion is seen during Mahashivratri. Best time to visit is evening and Morning time and in winter afternoons. The entry to the temple complex is free of cost and only parking of 4 wheelers is paid.

Good to visit to see sculptures of 11-12 th century in closer room. Need more description about sculptures for people to understand better. It seems less people are visiting the museum. It is a good place to visit for those who really like the museum and keen to learn about historical things and places. There are lots of idols mainly of the 10th and 11th century. There are old coins also which were used during different dynasties. I like this place very much and visit it as I get time. One must visit and specially students would get knowledge of our history from here.

It was very astonishing place to visit who loves to know about the historical sculptures & arts. Unfortunately I couldn't spend much time, hardly I could spend 10 minutes but it is really time taking who really wants to see the deep artistic culture of India. I visited this park about 4 years ago. While the overall condition wasn’t the best, the toy train and the small boat ride were well-maintained. The rest of the park was just okay and could definitely use better upkeep. That said, it’s a peaceful spot if you want a break from the city noise and want to relax around trees. There’s a small play area for children, and a few ducks that kids really enjoy watching. Most people come here for picnics, and it's a decent place for a short family outing.

The quality of sound system and the seating area is degrading day by day We went watch a movie on 10/06/2018 . The ticket price for balcony seats was Rs120 per head. No proper clean washroom for ladies. The fans inside the hall were not working properly. Even ACs are not working it felt like normal air coolers. It was getting suffocating, hot and humid. They switched on the fans 5 mins after the movie started and then switched off the fans 5 mins before the movie ended After paying 120 Rupees, watching movie in such condition is pathetic. Either they should improve their theater quality or they should completely close it

I visited this place recently and it's quite a good place to visit with your family. The most attractive part is that there is a giant monument of hanumaan ji around 15 to 30 feet and at the time of makar sankranti fairs(mela) is also held here..the photo I have posted is the small sculpture beneath that giant monument

Tulsi Museum at Ramvan is the sculptures from the ancient temples are preserved. Good spot for picnic. It has small park and greenery everywhere. Historic palace of Govindgarh is famous for being the residence of Mohan, the famous white tiger. The palace is closed for tourists now and is going through renovation to convert into a heritage hotel. However, the approach road and the surrounding greenery gives it a serene and peaceful touch.

We were stopped to enter the premises of this palace by some people sitting there. गोविंदगढ़ govind garh palace was earlier handed over to police by MP Government. Later this property of the Royal family of Rewa was taken back by royal family by court proceedings. And now they have handed over this palace to a business family of Gujrat for renovation and development as a tourist place and operating a tourist hotel. This was explained to us by the person preventing our entry in this area.

Part of the fort is in possession of the royal family of Rewa. The campus has school and temples. The general public is allowed to visit temples. We visited Shiv temple, Radha Krishana temple and jagannath temple and performed pooja with the help of priests there. Outside the fort gate a number of small shops are selling flowers coconut and prasad etc for devotees. Inside the fort area a cafe is serving coffee and light snacks.

It's the fort of Baghel danasty. Campus has Two temples one is 1000 years old other is 200-300 years old and more than half of fort is converted in private school and remaining half has museums.

Venkat Bhavan is one of the matchless places to visit in Rewa, which is famous for its unique Saracenic style of architecture. This masterpiece was built by Maharaja Venkatraman Singh, and the construction was completed in the year 1907. This is a beautiful place, but only if the government focuses on it. The road is okay but because of tough terrain, it's risky if u become careless. The view point is good, during the rainy season it's good to watch just majestic fall. We went there in February when the water was low and the temperature was fine too. There is one shade area which is made up of stone so it will be hot. Bring your own food nothing in a nearby place Please take back your garbage with you when u return. It's a free place with no ticket. Keep your children under you watch. Keep your daredevil adult friends on leash as well because it looks super beautiful and safe to go in water.... but trust me it's not.

Chachai waterfall usually dry from February to June, but during mansoon and post mansoon season its beauty is amazing. The landscape is beautiful throughout the year. Not much crowded so you will feel the peace/serenity of this place.

Only the fall is there but the "water" part is missing. I mean it kinda defeats the purpose of a waterfall😂. And yes it's rainy season. I think you'll only see water when there has been heavy rainfall in the same day when you are visiting so don't go unless you want to feel cheated. Jai Maa Asta Bhuji Devi. This temple is situated at the top of Vindhyachal Mountain. Here you can come with help of your feet ,😉 I mean by using stairs and roads or by help of ropeway or by using transportation, I mean using taxi or motorcycle or car depends upon you. But overall a good place to visit here from mountain you can get pleasent sight and a good place to get images if you are a photographer or even normal smartphone user you can also get good quality images.

This is not for the temple but the pandas. I went for my child's mundan darshan and while praying to kaal bhairav in ashtabhuja temple the panda there clapped me on my back and mind you I did not ask for the blessings or anything as such from the panda or anything. I think it does qualify for harassment. I could not say anything due to my family and other devotees faith and occassion but it was over all a very dreadful experience.

Blessed with the serene views of banks of Ganges is a must visit during the winter Season. It has a lot of potential as a historical place but need to be maintained better by the government authorities

PLEASE DO NOT PLAN TO GO TO THIS PLACE. More than three-fourth of the fort is inaccesible. There is a police post here so public access is closed. Moreover the road leading up to the fort is completely broken resulting in a very bumpy ride. Tour agents include this place in their itinerary knowingly ...so beware! Only a square structure with archways is accessible. Even viewing areas to see the river is closed. It is a waste of time, effort & money.

Historical place. Very nice view from the top. Fort is well maintained. Parking area captured by security forces. Common people have to park on the narrow road.

Great place of the mughal era . It is said that when God Vishnu took his Bamana Avatar , he kept his one foot in this place . If you see it by satellite image we will see the shape of a foot . Its a great place to visit . The guides are always available to provide you information by taking a decent amount of money as their fees .

Situtated on a hillock along the banks of Ganga river offering a majestic view of the mighty Ganges. The fort is small which was used as a prison during Mughal and british era due to its unique location advantage. It also houses a very ancient temple dedicated to Maharaj Bhartari which is believed to be his mahasamadhi.It also house famous places which inspired the legendary hindi gem Chandrakanta Santati.A must visit place if you are in the are.The fort closes by 5 in the evening so avoid going after 5.
