Came for Bugjam festival. Absolutely awesome. Can highly recommend for people of all ages ,families etc. camping was good. Enough amenities. Only be aware food and drink is super expensive!

Sports direct: didn't catch name but lovely young lad serving, super tall, random brief chat at the till, also manages to kill cacti! And yep are pup destroyed Euro ball within minutes, gutted. Not the biggest womens section. Mountain warehouse: woman with bright blue eyes, super genuine, positive, good at recommending products, but not overbearing. Blue light card accepted even on sale items. Bills restaurant: lovely lady with hearing aids, you do a super job, so busy today, vigorously working flat out.( To those that got annoyed at her busy self not responding to your princess needs, open your eyes, gain insight, and empathy, ) Food was lovely, thanks chefs! Good cuppa tea, (first place I've ever ever ever seen, using the same tea bags,) blue light card accepted. Sketchers blue light card accepted but not on any items already "discounted" can't be only one who thinks, Sketchers prices has doubled of late. Sure they used to be one of the cheaper brands. Staff not much chat, monotone. Services charges are getting out of hand! We know the servers only see a miniscule % Thanks for shining. Slight let down was hearing most places do not take physical money as payment, which isnt very inclusive, knowing many a person who prefer cash over card, ( my mother doesn't trust cards, more complex than losing money or having details fraudulently accessed, and partners 95 year old nan, that just doesn't understand using card, just to mention two, but working in healthcare, many more feel the same, and just wont buy if cant use legal tender.) Has a dog washing station, 👍 has outdoor phone charging points 👍 Helpful homeless support 👍 Really is lovely to have the lake, looked ever so picturesque today. 👍 👍 👍 👍

As a distant relative of the Jordan family (great grand mother Marion Dorothy Jordan) this was the first time I had the chance to visit Holme Mill. We arrived early and booked a tour which left us enough time to sit in the sun next the millpond and have some breakfast, which was delicious. The tour was really informative and allowed me to see pictures and learn more about my ancestors as well as the incredible feat of engineering that the mill is. The tour guide was really knowledgable and all the staff from the cafe to the shop were lovely friendly people.

We visited with our children on Easter Sunday. What a fab place to walk, relax, and a gigantic playground/ sandpit for children! The paths reveal the beautiful scenery of the lakes, with birdwatching spots here and there, the adventure trail and much more! You can even have a BBQ in the designated area, or grab a drink/bite and enjoy it when looking at the tranquility of the water. An absolute gem!

Great house full of history, the very knowledgeable staff members explained everything about the house and it's former owners. The walled garden had hundreds of plants and shrubs. The estate is huge, if you aren't good at walking the flat pathways there's a shuttle bus for those with mobility issues. We used it to get around the quite long distances between sites.

An amazingly peaceful place, with great oaths, a cafe, and plenty of places to sit. This park is great for walking, cycling, and running. Their are many sign posts, and the locals are very friendly and happy to guide. I really recommend you take time out to spend time here. Great for the family, dog walking, and even meditation.

It was an amazing place to visit, with great memorabilia of Cromwell's day! A really well presented museum with very knowledgeable staff, with a great medical exhibition and talk today, all who work here are so very willing to share they have a nice little shop with a great selection of books. Even though it's a free museum, a donations is so important, so to keep history at the doorstep.

This cemetery was very beautiful, I felt very emotional reading about how amazingly brave the soldiers were in the war. I felt it was insensitive to take pictures of the crosses themselves, so i only took pictures of a few of the lovely decorations. The place is very well looked after as it should be. It's a perfect place to remember the loss of all-American soldiers. R.I.P

A must-see! We were truly impressed by Burghley House – a stunning Elizabethan mansion with breathtaking architecture and beautifully preserved interiors. The gardens are just as spectacular, especially the Sculpture Garden and the fun, interactive Garden of Surprises. A perfect mix of history, art, and nature. Highly recommended!

A beautiful piece of magnificent history right in the centre of town. So many stories to discover and amazing architecture to admire. Well worth a visit and if you're lucky, you might hear the choir practising, or the organist playing a tune!

Wonderful display of snowdrops, and other spring flowers, wonderful path to walk around the gardens, which make it accessible. Maze path, and "retreat" to hire. Two cafes, gift shop, and plants available for purchase.

We had good seats over looking track, service was decent, young staff but who wants to work weekend evenings eh... Didn't have to leave booth, food & drink service was to table & could also place bets at table. Made for a nice relaxed evening & could enjoy the racing!

Had an amazing experience today! The instructions were clear, and the safety briefings laid out exactly what to expect, answering all our questions. Every member of staff was approachable, friendly, and really helpful. Even though low cloud cover delayed our jumps until the afternoon, the day still flowed smoothly. I had Gary as my tandem instructor, and he was fantastic. He kept me chatting on the way up, which really helped calm my nerves, and made sure I felt confident about the instructions for a safe jump. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking about giving it a go!

This was a brilliant museum to visit, taking through fossils going back millions of years! There are many different examples and these span two full floors, loved the luminous room of fossils itself. Different ages are tour guides which is great for diversity and community projects are displayed here also, entry is only about £5!

I had a delightful visit to Springfields Designer Outlet during my recent holiday! Practical aspects were well catered for too. The toilets were spotless and well-maintained, and there were plenty of benches to rest and recharge amidst the shopping excitement. Overall, Springfields Designer Outlet offers a fantastic mix of shopping, nature, and family-friendly activities. Highly recommended for a relaxed, enjoyable day out!

Lovely place to visit staff all friendly. food is all good quality. The tour is included in the price and really worth an hour of your time. The lady doing the tour is a volunteer with a great knowledge of this building and family that still lives here 500 years on. Her knowledge spans the full 500 years.would like to thank all the staff for a pleasant day

Beautiful venue for a wedding with stunning grounds, you are also allowed up on the very top for wedding photos. Just a note there are no toilets in the actual castle, if you get cut short there’s a good 2 minute walk to the toilets just near the exit of the grounds. Today’s couple had drinks and a very light afternoon tea in the garden outside, the weather was glorious.

We came yesterday and went on the 2pm tour. Our tour guide was Lou. And she was amazing and perfect! Only me and my partner on the tour which was brilliant but she told us everything and more! She even stopped the tour to see the Typhoons flying no pressure to leave and let us take pictures throughout. Would highly recommend to anyone at all, kids, adults. It’s a perfect place with lovely people. The guy who booked us in was really nice as well. We had read ahead about no bags and booking not being required. So we just turned up and couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you Lou and keep enjoying those planes and keep the BBMF in operation with your support.

Nice trip out, forgot it was school holidays, but not too busy. Only few minutes down the road from us. Animals seem happy and well cared for. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Ample parking. Nice little gem, well worth a visit

Stopped off on the way home from holiday and wasn't disappointed 🙌🏼 The farm is huge and there is so much to do, you can purchase animal food with your ticket and feed the animals. There are; Chickens, Cows, Sheep, Donkeys, Guinea pigs, Rabbits, Pigs and lots more! We did a tractor ride with Amy which was fun and held the small animals - Guinea pigs were so lovely. We also saw the milking demonstration which was informative. There are lots of outdoor parks, swings, tractors to play on. But also an indoor soft play, which is large but be cautious the area is split by age but the small ones can get to the older area. We are sad this farm is far away from us but will definitely be returning if we head out that way. Thanks Rand Farm

Visited Castle Rising near King’s Lynn during the school holidays and wandered freely around the impressive 12th-century ruins. The Norman keep, earthworks, and gatehouse ooze medieval history, with informative panels bringing it all to life. Peaceful grounds, easy paths, and ramps make it fully accessible. A fascinating, underrated gem for history fans!

We spent a fantastic afternoon here during the summer break, missing the Lancaster taxi runs but got to experience the Mosquito. If you can make the taxi runs, definitely a sight and sound to experience. Lots to see and do around the site, including ongoing restoration works in the large hangar, and an impressive collection of wartime memorabilia and remnants of aircraft. We stayed until closing time and were really fortunate to see the Lancaster being towed back to the hangar, where it parked up literally inches from us as it manoeuvred around. An amazing experience.

Lovely visit here on the royal estate,plenty of car parking which was £5 for the day, the house and grounds are very well maintained as you would expect,downstairs in the house is interesting with things left just as the royal family like them, shame you can't look upstairs but still worthwhile, we walked to the church which you can enter and purchase various souvenirs if you wish. There are plenty of toilets and a good tearoom too,we had a very enjoyable day😀

All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent value for money Did the shark dive experience, all the dive team are excellent making this a very enjoyable and memorable experience. I highly recommended a visit to Skegness Aquarium

Various eating venues, plus entertainment area at the start of the pier. Nice view of the sea at the end, plus a number of benches to relax and watch the waves. Great spot later in the day for a bit of quiet time if you're at the end of the pier.

On May 31, 2025, my family and I visited Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness, where we had an exceptionally enjoyable experience. We purchased a family ticket along with individual tickets, totaling £45, which provided excellent value for the encounter. The car park is conveniently located nearby, facilitating easy access to the sanctuary. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by exceptionally friendly & welcoming reception staff who provided valuable information. The interior of the sanctuary offered an engaging experience, with its gift shop and ice cream shop. The latter was a delightful addition on a warm day. The visit was highly educational for our children, who were captivated by the diverse wildlife they encountered. They had the opportunity to observe birds, seals, fish, and other animals, learning in an entertaining and immersive manner. Natureland Seal Sanctuary stands as a remarkable gem in Skegness, offering both entertainment and educational value. It is highly recommended for families, animal enthusiasts & individuals seeking a meaningful and enjoyable day out. Five stars

Beautiful beach. In the same coast as Skegness but much more cleaner. Car park was £2 for 3 hours and card accepted or pay by phone. It’s a 2 mins walk. Dog friendly and a cafe shop in the car park. Well maintained. Spent a lovely spring afternoon there with the kids.

Fantastic little Sanctuary all the animals look well looked after and well feed. This isn't just a Sanctuary it's also a learning space for kids to learn about history etc very clever. Cafe nice and clean food lovely all staff very friendly and helpful keep up the good work you all deserve a medal 🏅 we came with kings norton coaches from Birmingham well worth the 4 hours trip
