Beach
Outdoor Activities
Playa Morro de Gos is a popular holiday destination known for its golden sand, sun-bathing chairs, and umbrellas. The beach offers tranquility and stunning sunsets, making it perfect for a calm morning or afternoon. Visitors can also explore the old quarter of Oropesa del Mar with notable buildings and historical landmarks. The area features a variety of amenities including fruit stands, shops, souvenirs, and beach accessories.
A complete experience for everyone. Fruit stands, shops, souvenirs, beach accessories, seawall with two levels for strolling along the beach. Upper level perfect to view the beach, lower level providing easy access to all the shops and restaurants. Warning, during the day the lower level walkway doubles as a street for the locals who live adjacent to the walkway. Nightlife turns into full throttle around 8pm. Sidewalks become busy with activity as shoppers eagerly search for the exquisite replicas (dupes, fakes, counterfeits) from designer shoes to luxury handbags (Gucci, Prada, Tous, etc). Prices usually stay around 25 euros for most of the favorite items. Unlike the street sellers in Madrid, the street seller has no fear from the local authorities as it seems to be a symbiotic relationship, where tourists swarm the walkway purchase the dupes and then shop at the legitimate restaurants from pizza to fine dining. Interesting experience! Oh, the walkways are certainly tempting for a skater, although I only saw one actual skateboarder during my 4 visits to the walkway in August.

Jolly beach at the main part of Oropesa de Mar. A little bit narrow in some points but good quality of Sand. It is not comparable to the more virgin beaches you find when you move far away of Marina D'Or, but it is still a good option if you don't fancy driving and prefer to go straigh from the appartment to the beach.
Alex S — Google review
Very good place, there are local places to have a snack, supermarkets and shops close to the beach. During summer time they organise activities like yoga, zumba etc...
Sandra — Google review
Great Beach This is a great place and beach but it does feel a bit smaller than some of the other beaches around. It is situated in the main part of Oropesa de Mar. The beach itself is a narrow, but the sand is great.
Paul V — Google review
My favorite beach in Oropesa del Mar. As you can see in the videos, on the right day it is the perfect place for you to relax, do your meditation or yoga, and enjoy the peaceful environment.
Rafa H — Google review
We have always had very windy weather on this beach. In addition, it is very narrow. In the end, we always switched to Playa de la Concha, which we thought was better in everything. Even just before the start of the season, there were no showers, deckchairs, etc., but that will probably change with the arrival of the high season.
Michal P — Google review
It is a very big beach with a lot'of place to put your staff and the water is not so deep from the begining. Very nice place

Parque Acuático Magic Splash Adventure

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
I visited the park with a 6 and 9 years old. They could go on 8-9 rides. It is a small park bur it is enough for young kids to have lots of fun. You can go a whole day or 1/2 day 17 to 20.30 or 20.30 to 00.00 for 18 euro/child. We tried both and recommend you go the early time slot there are very short ques and your kids can go as much as they want to. The staff know som English which was very helpful. The toilets are in bad condition they smell and you cannot flush 🙁
Cecilia — Google review
Absolutely rubbish not told when booking all-inclusive they want you to pay more when arrive to ultra all-inclusive they don't like English spainsh are very rude
Leanne S — Google review
I am so disappointed by the staff member who sold me my kids ticket for 22.50 Euros. My kids bracelet broke after 10 minutes, so we went to have it replaced. The staff lady did not give me a ticket and she requested one from me which I did not have. After telling her that she just sold me the ticket 10 mins ago, she said she could not remember and then called me a liar to my face! I asked for the manager who came to just tell me they could not give us a new bracelet without a ticket, which I was not given one in the first place!!! I then had to go out of the park find a bank to be able to print a transaction report which takes time to prove I was not a liar! I was so embarrassed that she called me a lair in front of other guests in the qué!!! Anyways after a while I came back with the transaction report to prove I did in fact pay for it! Then again she said in front of everyone that I should not throw my ticket away!! Which she NEVER gave me!! It's Crazy. Far too expensive for what you get, super bad service, TOILETS ARE DIRTY WITHOUT PAPER OR RUNNING WATER! I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. No apologies or anything... NOT RECOMMENDED! also i requested a copy of my ticket and invoice after i proved i paid,, and the staff member said that she gave me a ticket and could not give me one anymore. i need one for my book keeping and if any superior reads this here is my transaction report HOTELES MARINA Amount: -22,50€ Transaction date: 19 may 2019 Entry date: 20 may 2019 Time: 16:27:00 Fees: 0,00€ the lady member of staff who sold me this ticket should have some customer service lessons, how do i request an invoice (FACTURA) for my purchase as I am a business owner? I am beginning to think this lady at the reception does not give tickets on purpose to be able to keep some cash as no ticket was given or offered, just a band for my kid to run in and enjoy the rides!
Carlos W — Google review
it is OK for the kids, however some parts of the park is really unsafe due to lack of lights in some areas inside. Unacceptable to see that some parts of the park were almost dark while the attractions were under operation. Please maintain this issue.
Murat M — Google review
The poorest customer service I have seen in my life. The park has interminable waiting queues everwhere. Often parents wait in line in order to save a seat for their children. When I tried to do the same and when my son went to claim the seat, they told he is not allowed because the kid HIMSELF has to sit in line and showed me some rules in spanish which i dont speak. When we asked for refund they refused. When we ask to speak to the manager they suddenly didn't speak English. When we asked for the complaint form which under local laws it is mandatory to have, they pointed us to the Marina D'Or hotel staff. These guys forced them to refund us immediately! An entire evening ruined by I'll mannered staff and idiotic rules.

Acuático Polinesia Magic World Park

Park
Last week I was there with my family: the slides are very old and poorly maintained; When we thought that everything was going to go from bad to worse we arrived at the Picnic area when in the queue there was a family yelling at the waitress and she managed to calm them down with incredible politeness and they left happy. It seems to me that there are people who have very little respect for waiters and we should value them more. That same girl has attended us (Barbara). She was able to answer all our questions in English without any problem. I would give her five out of five stars for her attitude and patience. But please fix the slides up a bit.
H V — Google review
Beware this is a dangerous place for the English. We’ve just spent the day at the waterpark. Half way through a member of staff called Adrian told us we weren’t allowed to lay on the sun loungers as we were only all inclusive ultra guests and not premium guests, when we asked if all the Spaniards on the sunloungers were premium guests he just laughed. So we moved to the other end of the waterpark to lay back down only for Adrian to follow us, this time we explained to others than he was targeting us because we were English and the other lifeguards understood and left us alone, only for Adrian to grab my 3 year old child’s private parts in the kids pool by the pirate ship. When I complained to staff that he shouldn’t be touching my child nothing happened, when I complained again they called security and told me they didn’t believe me. I said I wanted to speak to the police about what Adrian had done but the only one who could speak English told me they didn’t believe me and I must go, distraught we were they led out by a side exit by a big security guard who clearly didn’t speak English and clearly didn’t understand what we were saying.

It's impossible to find anything part broken or broken!! Won't worth your money! If you weigh more than 90kg, you won't get aloud in any of the attractions!! Discriminates at highest standards! And the way they tell you'll... want to punch someone!
Catalin ( — Google review
I would even not give any star for this horrible waterpark. Obviously could be the worst waterpark not only in Spain but also all over Europe that I have ever visited. I hope you take my below comments seriously: 1- it is not acceptable for any waterpark to have only half of the waterslides and attractions under operation. 2- most of the waterslides under operation have problems. Aquatube slide is not working properly. I stopped in the middle of the slide and had to push myself to get out from the slide. 3- wave pool was not working while we were there, totally not acceptable for such a park. Seems that the river also was ment to be constructed as a lazy river however it is not working and converted to a normal river which could be OK but which is not OK is that the river is very dirty!!! you have to properly clean the water, this is not a real river, we are in a waterpark and you must take care about the human health! 4- it is unbeliavable to see that the tornado/space boat type slide is not working properly and someone inside the slide is helping to the users to get out of the slide manually. I highly recommend you to cancel this slide and put a proper waterslide from a proper waterslide producer instead. 5- it is also unbeliavable to see that the 4 lane multislide is used only for 2 lanes due to safety reasons. How come you accept and operate such an unsafe waterslide if there is safety concerns? Also the arrival pool of this slide is definitely a problem due to the depth, the depth of the arrival pool is very low and should have been at least 1-1.20m depth actually. I bumbed my head immediately right after i got out of this waterslide. 6- most of the kids pool attractions were out of operation including the splash pad attractions. 7- the whole park is very dirty and rusted. Amazing to see such a park in Spain who does not care about hygiene. 8- i paid 24 euros for the entrance absolutely for nothing! Would definitely not return!!!
Murat M — Google review
Terrible for up to 6 yo , Ok park for little ones since they have many pools safe for under 4 BUT they need to take care of this place urgently! Paint is falling, most of their sliders are out of order due to security reason for more than 5 years 🤔 one of them broke my swimwear and scratched my back with blood so I had to tell them to close that too. Bathrooms are confusing , lifeguards are not really helpful looking at their phones and not caring about the material..like one of them had donuts that needed to be pumped up and instead of doing that to offer a better sevice he was just staying there waiting .
Krystel M — Google review
I went there with my family 31st August 2022. male toilet no lights, female changing room closed there were using male changing rooms. leaking water from the roof in front of changing room. some rides closed. no information. I waited 20mnts for a water slide because only 4 lnflatable rings available for adults and about 30 for kids with same size as adults. very poor service. that place needs Inspection maintenance before open for public.
Bruno V — Google review
Not worth the money for adults. We were not informed the lazy river (main attraction to us going) was closed one of the slides closed too. Some staff were friendly but we were told we had to pay €3 each for sunbeds which seemed a little much since we paid nearly €30 for entry each.
B2themc — Google review
Very poor waterpark for the price! Poorly maintained, broken tiles covered over by furniture to avoid injuries, showers not working, various slides closed, dirty toilets with no water supply. It might have been better when it opened but the lack of maintenance has let it down. We should've went to nearby Aquarama!

It's a nice place for the kids. My kids enjoyed it. But it's quite expensive for what they offer and it can be very crowded. There were not enough seats when I went and some people had to seat on the stairs. There was also a problem with the sound. It was hard to understand sometimes.

(Translated by Google) We would have liked to see the paintings. But we didn't realize that when the museum is closed on Mondays, access to the paintings is also closed by a gate. The walk there - you have to look carefully to make sure you take the right path - is not really signposted, takes about 20 minutes and you will come across one or two sights with information boards. The boards are mostly only in Spanish. But it's best to take a picture and then use Google Translate. (Original) Hätten uns die Malereien gerne angesehen. Uns war aber nicht klar das, wenn Montags das Museum geschlossen ist, damit auch der Zugang zu den Malereien durch ein Tor verschlossen wird. Castell de Morella

Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Perched atop the town of Morella, Castell de Morella is an ancient fortress with a rich history dating back to the 3rd millennium BC. The large Moorish castle, built in the 13th century on earlier Iberian and Roman foundations, offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. Visitors can explore its steep roads, medieval streets, churches, and walls before hiking up to admire its well-preserved walls and terraces.
We walked up to the castle which was quite a trek, zigzagging up the hill. Once we got past the metal bridge after the modern bull ring I walked along to the left to see the statue of Ramon Cabrera, a guerilla leader in one of the Spanish succession wars and views over the ruined convent of St Francis. Access to the castle from there was blocked so I walked all the way back and carried on up the hill to the main gate. This had obviously been repaired recently but if an attacker even go that far I'd be impressed. The area before the summit contained the governors palace (now housing an exhibition of the town's history) and various admin, storage and living rooms and a prison. The 19th century improvements were very visible with extra walls and batteries due to the capabilities of modern canon, two of which were added to the castle in the 1950s. The top of hill was very windswept and had lots of rooms with information boards but in Spanish only. The views, as you can image, were just fantastic with the lower fortifications, the city walls, the medieval aquaduct and the wider Valencian countryside all layed out.

Wonderful place to visit! Looooots of stares, very nice views, impressive piece of history! Totally it's a visit must!
Victor N — Google review
Wow, climbing up to Morella’s castle felt like stepping into a medieval saga! The steep, winding path had my heart racing, but those jaw-dropping views of the Valencian countryside? Totally worth every step. The fortress, perched at 1,073 meters, is a time capsule did you know it was first built by the Moors in the 900s on Roman ruins? For just €2, you get to explore its ancient walls and towers. Wear comfy shoes, bring a water bottle, and don’t skip the tiny fossil jewelry shop at the exit those pieces glow in the sun! Perfect for history buffs and adventurers alike.
Semen K — Google review
Absolutely amazing place! The Castelo de Morela is stunning — the views from the top are breathtaking, and you can really feel the history in every corner. There’s plenty of interesting information about what happened here during medieval times, which makes the visit even more fascinating. The castle is very well maintained, and it’s easy to imagine what life might have been like centuries ago. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

Castell de Morella is a must if you’re chasing history with jaw-dropping views. This ancient fortress, perched on a rocky hill, feels like stepping into a medieval saga. Pro tip: visit early morning when it opens at 11 AM to skip any queues—takes about 5-10 minutes max. Entry is just €5, a steal for the climb to Plaza de Armas, where you’ll snap epic photos of Morella’s red rooftops and the Els Ports mountains. Wear comfy shoes for the steep paths, and don’t miss the Convent de Sant Francesc entrance it’s the only way in

Ticket costs €5/person. Dogs are allowed. A magnificent castle where can overlook the whole town.

It seems like a very big hill to climb to the top of the castle but it's not too bad, for someone like me who hates hills. Amazing views and information plaquards around, €3.50 entrance fee.
Nicola M — Google review
It's a little town on the hill, with an ancient church building, though small it's very unique worth to explore even though you may have seen many. The castle on the top is a ruine, ancient but nothing much to see. The streets in the middle of the hill are just like any other Spanish town.

The Estàtua de Benet XIII (Papa Lluna) is a beautiful statue located near the illuminated castle, creating a picturesque setting. The statue of Benedict XIII, also known as Papa Luna, has become a popular spot for taking selfies. Visitors can enjoy a scenic walk to the castle through the old town of Peniscola, navigating narrow and sometimes steep streets and stairs.
Inaugurated in 2007, this Bronze statue represents absolutely nothing of the actual physical appearance of Papa Luna: in reality, he was a small, extremely thin man dedicated to the world of academia, more along the lines of a Mr. Barnes from the Simpsons rather than the imposing myth that has been created. Some argument can be made that the statue represent his strong character and beliefs, but physically, zero in common with the statue.
Guyver I — Google review
The statue of Pope Benedict XIII, or Papa Luna, in Peñíscola stands as a reminder of one of the most controversial figures in papal history. Once a powerful leader during the Great Western Schism, Benedict XIII made Castell de Peníscola his refuge, refusing to renounce his claim to the papacy even in exile. His legacy is one of resilience and defiance, and this statue, overlooking the sea, captures his unwavering determination. Standing before it, you can almost feel the weight of history—the echoes of a time when the fate of the Church was as stormy as the Mediterranean waves behind him.

(Translated by Google) Impressive statue of Benedict XIII, better known as Papa Luna. Would he have thought that he would one day become a point of interest for selfies?? So people still look online (at least sometimes!!) to see who they took a selfie with. However, you should also be able to walk well on the circular route to the castle through the old town of Peniscola. It goes through narrow, sometimes steep streets and stairs up to the castle. Man sollte auf dem Rundweg zur Burg durch die Altstadt von Peniscola allerdings auch gut zu Fuß sein. Es geht durch enge, teilweise steile Gassen und Treppen bis hoch zur Burg.

Sights & Landmarks
Fortress
Castell de Peníscola is a massive medieval fortress located on the seafront, once serving as a papal seat. The castle offers tours and hosts cultural events. Visitors can enjoy unparalleled views of the sea and the castle from modern, well-equipped rooms with spacious terraces. The surrounding old town features stunning white-washed houses, stone steps, narrow alleyways, and hidden viewpoints.
Peñíscola Castle is an incredible place to visit—rich in history and full of charm. If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, you’ll love knowing that parts of the series were filmed here, and walking through the same locations feels surreal. The castle itself is beautiful, well-preserved, and offers breathtaking views of the coastline and the surrounding town. It’s a perfect blend of history and scenery. The area around the castle is just as enjoyable, with lots of small shops to pick up souvenirs and plenty of restaurants with stunning views, making it a great spot to enjoy lunch or dinner after exploring. The beach is also fantastic—clean, lively, and just steps away from the old town. Altogether, Peñíscola offers a perfect mix of culture, food, and relaxation.

Views for days. You can enjoy both the castle and the garden for a moderate price of 5 euro / adult. Lots to visit and explore. Perfect gateway for a cloudy day so you can enjoy the views without breaking a sweat. l

Peniscola Spain is the beautiful setting for this Castle jewel. It costs 5 euro to tour the Castle and Garden, each. Shoes or sandals with good traction will serve you well as the walk up to the Castle is on very smooth and worn stone steps, walk ways and streets, and dont forget you still have the walk down. This castle is amazing to see in person and has a long and interesting past. Must Visit!

Landmark & Historical Castle This is the Spanish Mont Saint Michel, it is really nice to see and I believe unique in Spain. This Castle sits on the see and looks great from afar. In the town itself you can see a few narrow streets a few restaurants. We enjoyed wandering around here, and can only highly recommend visiting!

Great old Castillo. Knights Template etc. interesting old town with good photo opportunities. €3.50 entrance to the castle for young and concessions such as over 60, a bit upset they didn't query our age.,€5 for normal entry. Enjoyable couple of hours. Large and steep steps in places. Well worth the visit.

Amazing views to the sea, the pennisula, and the local beaches! The view is the best part of the experience, although, the castle does have a rich history, esp.the story of Pope Luna, and the castle garden was used in the shooting of A Game of Thrones. Sun block is recommended. ☀️🇪🇸🌅

Papagayo Garden

Zoo
Nature & Parks
Garden visitor center with displays of parrots, plus a wooden enclosure for butterflies & turtles.
Good zoo with parrots, flamingo, kangaroo, capybara, ocelot, lemurs and giant turtles. Has an open space where you can feed and touch birds and turtles. Very good shady place for kids' entertainment, has a lot of obstacle courses. Parking is free, there are some snacks and a small cafe on the territory. Great attraction and fun. Very recommended for visiting with the kids.

Second visit in 3 years. Really nice place to spend time with various animals but beware the birds will sit in you and as I experienced this time pooped down my back and in my sons arm but laugh I certainly did. There’s a place to grab a drink and weekends they put in a show. The kangaroos are very nice along with the massive ginney pig looking animal and my kids smoothed them & they just loved there’s bellies being tickled.
A W — Google review
Even it's 25 year old, the park is fantastic and you are allowed inside with most of the animals. Some parts are a little work, but they try to keep up and are even constructing new areas for more animals. Do expect the birds to poob on you, if you let them sit. They were all well behaved and did not bite. So much fun and they all seem to be in good condition. Super great agility tracks for children from 8-15.

I love this place this was our second visit on our travels round Spain . My passion is birds & to see these beautiful birds so well cared for and looked after by such lovely staff is a joy. The place is beautiful and so much for kids to do as well. Being able to interact with the birds and feed them made my day. I have so many pictures & videos thus is a memory I will treasure always & we will return again & again when we come back to Spain I only wish we had a place like this in the uk . Thank you to all the amazing staff for caring so much for all the birds and animals. This place is a must see on your visit to the area you won’t regret it 😄😄😄🥰

Our second visit this time in winter so no butterflies (too cold) but the bird enclosures are amazing to be able to see and interact with free flying parrots and parakeets and also Macaws
Gray W — Google review
A great day out for young and old. When you arrive and purchase your tickets you are given lettuce leaves to feed the tortoises. In the parrot part they come and sit on you for sunflower seeds and you can get close to the capybaras. The animals look well cared for and the park is open 11am until 3pm.

Small in size but beautifully made. Especially for children. For our child the most beautiful is the capybara

Observatorio de aves Mas de Bunyol

Mentioned on
1 list
Bird watching area
Nature & Parks
The observatory Observatorio de aves Mas de Bunyol provides an exceptionally delightful and superior experience. Despite language barriers, visitors are given English brochures to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the information provided. This remarkable destination is highly recommended to be booked in advance, as finding the location without proper guidance can be challenging. The opportunity to capture photographs and videos is encouraged; however, using flash is strictly prohibited.
What an incredible experience. This was everything we'd hoped and more. The dedication and hard work of the owners is truly inspirational, and the moment when the birds soar in to feed will make the hair on your neck stand in awe. I can understand that vultures maybe are not everybody's thing, but if you even think that you like some birds maybe a little bit, you should give this a go. Fair warning - you will need to ring ahead or book on WhatsApp; web site and email are not your friends here, and bookings are essential. You will need to meet the host promptly at 0900 to travel down in convey. Wear dark clothing and be prepared to move silently - don't be a jerk and spoil it for everybody by scaring away the birds. These are wild creatures, which makes the experience all the more special. Also, while the guests are passionate and highly knowledgeable, you are in Spain, so their talk is in Spanish. Ours is mediocre, but we could follow the gist, and there are some written materials (of excellent quality) available for 1.50€. They're worth the donation. The venue is very carefully and cleverly designed, right down to an external microphone pickup so you can hear the birds. Honestly, this is worth every cent and more - we were struck dumb with awe, and we are so glad we did this. We will absolutely do it again if we return to this part of Spain.
Heath C — Google review
This was our fourth visit to this amazing place. We always stay the night in very comfortable rooms and sit having breakfast while watching the vultures arriving. The observatory experience is spectacular and unique and a little different every time.
Simon H — Google review
What a brilliant way to start your day. Meet and taken to the Observatory by the nicest and most sincere man, who tried and managed to converse with us in English. Opened windows, arranged the camouflaged netting, produced camera pillows and then 10 minutes later walked into the observation area with a wheelbarrow at which most of the 300 Griffon Vultures started to vocalise, became agitated and started to clamber over each other before some fought for the food. Not so much vulture drama for the following wheelbarrows of food. To be so close and see them in such detail was amazing and truly spectacular. We took over 400 photos between us. Considering they wanted to charge us 7 times as much to sit in a hide and watch vultures from the same distance, this is what I call a Bargain with a Capital B.
Hernandez E — Google review
We were really looking forward to the trip and made a reservation for a Friday. We were told to be at the meeting point at 9:15 am. When we were there on time and wrote to the woman where we should go, we were spontaneously canceled because it was raining lightly. Nowhere was it said that it would not take place if it rained and we had a confirmed reservation. Then the woman became extremely cheeky and unfriendly and said it was our fault. What a bitter person. Too bad, we really would have liked to see the vultures. Just write a message or let us know under which circumstances the event will not take place, the forecast said that it’s gonna rain since a week. Why confirm our reservation? The ride took us 1,5 h thanks again.
Deniz P — Google review
Unique experience, hosted by people who clearly love vultures and know a lot about them. Obviously you are dependent on other people walking quietly as instructed and not being idiots, but all went well for us.
Ian T — Google review
An incredible experience. Must be booked or you will never find the place. We tried Google maps and were directed to the other side of the mountain. You are encouraged to take photos and videos but DO NOT use flash!
Denise T — Google review
A absolutely wonderful experience. Indeed far better than we could have expected. Although we have insufficient Spanish to follow all the information we were given a brochure in English which gave a good outline. Thank you both for this opportunity.

Mirador de la Guardiola offers stunning panoramic views of the Ebro Delta and, on clear days, even as far as Peniscola. This viewpoint is located near the center of La Rapita and provides a great vantage point to observe the entire delta. The area has historical significance dating back to the 11th century when it was home to a monastic community. Over time, various projects have transformed the village's appearance, including fortifications, squares, churches, and fountains.

Tortosa Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Saint Maria, is a must-visit in Tortosa. The exterior is particularly impressive with its unique Catalan Gothic architecture and Baroque facade. Construction began in 1347 and was completed in 1757, resulting in a blend of two different architectural styles. While the interior ambiance is amazing, visitors should check for prayer times as tourists are not allowed during these times.
What an amazing find in a town i did not even know of until we visited. The cathedral is huge and worthy of a large city such as Madrid or Granada. For only €5 you get entrance to a huge number of things in addition to the massive and ornate cathedral. Well worth a visit, as is a wander around the rest of this lovely town by the river.

Absolutely stunning place to check out and take a dip in the refreshing waters after walking / cycling the greenways and camino. We stayed in prat de compte and took the bike up the amazing windy roads. Then We walked along to gorge and found a secluded swimming spot which was amazing. Definitely worth a venture upto.

It is a very beautiful place, but we expected a hot spring, in fact it is not really a hot spring. It is a warm spring. The temperature of the small pool beside the river has about 25° which is nice but it won’t keep you warm for long the only way to feel really warm there is to 1st jump into the cold river which I personally also enjoy. The whole surrounding is very magical and it’s an extremely beautiful place that is very rural and Chester small mountain Road Leeds there so there won’t be a lot of people usually I guess.

The boat ride was good, and the tickets were a fair price. However, it wasn't very entertaining as the English translation for the tour was very quiet and impossible to understand, they also stopped translating half way through. This is a shame as I think they said a lot of interesting things about the delta. I would definitely come back and do a longer tour (ours was 45 mins) as we didn't see much. Still, it was a good way to spend an afternoon.
Emily S — Google review
The tour was terrible. The so-called English guide was so quiet and in such a strong Spanish accent, that we could not hear a word. And the only thing we saw was the river and the plants on each side. Only once did we see 4 flamingos for 2 minutes at a distance. No other birds or interesting things to see.

Wonderful views, odd parking guide. There was a guy in the middle of the road denying access with a car saying it's only 12 mins walk (is not). It's a steep hike to the top and there is quite a big parking place next to the castle anyway. We returned later and went with a car which was the better choice to be able to enjoy the castle too. The castle is under renovations so entrance was only 3 euros because not all places were open.

Wow, Miravet Castle is like stepping into a medieval saga perched above the Ebro River! The views from the ramparts are absolutely jaw-dropping think endless rolling hills and the river winding like a silver ribbon below. I paid €5 for the ticket (totally worth it, students get it for €2!), and the climb up the tribute tower’s spiral staircase had my heart racing not just from the effort but those epic panoramas at the top. Insider tip: wear comfy shoes, the cobblestone path from the village is steep and slippery in spots. Oh, and did you know this Templar fortress was once a Moorish stronghold before the Knights transformed it in the 12th century? Save time for the pottery shops in Miravet’s old town they’re a hidden gem!

Friendly staff, beautiful Templar castle with stunning views over Miravet. Tons of cool info about the history of the place.

I loved this town! We drove to the castle, which was nice but not as nice as others in the area. But, the views were incredible! I loved the river going through the town. Our friends drove the car back down, and I went took the easy walking path through the trees. I wouldn't have wanted to walk up it, but down was easy. It empties into the town, and walked down through small streets to the river. The cute mouse house had to be noted! I hear you can kayak in the river but the current looked VERY strong, so I'm not sure it's something I'm able to do. People were swimming close to the shore though. There's a small cafe where you can eat, too. Certainly come check it out!

Highly ridiculous. I knew that prices had risen due to inflation, but the price to enter this castle is a crime. If you are a history lover and you like to see empty castles with only stone, this is an ideal place for you. I expected there to be materials typical of the century in which construction began. Honestly, in my opinion, it's not worth it. The views are not that pretty (although I have to say that when I took the view the day was cloudy). It only took us 20 minutes to see the entire castle. The truth is, I don't understand the people who recommend visiting this place, if you know someone who recommends it, tell them that I pay a visit to the eye doctor, they really need it. In my opinion, the town looks like the set of a low-budget zombie movie. thank you very much 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼❤️
Carlaa — Google review
Not a bad castle/ruin but to pay 5 eur and can't even go to the top of the castle because it was closed, is too much. In general for 10 min you are done, so walking up the hill takes more time than to view the castle...There is WC for free and the staff was polite and English speaking. You can also go by car

(Translated by Google) The cove is beautiful, although it's a shame there was so much trash (pieces of plastic, string, even a sneaker). There was also seaweed on the shore, but you could just walk right through it. We arrived at 10 a.m. and there was plenty of space to choose from. We were able to settle down on the shore. Of course, it filled up later, but nothing out of the ordinary in the middle of August. Platja Del Torn

The Platja del Torn is a nudist beach located in a protected natural area, just minutes away from LHospital de LInfant. It's got a serene atmosphere and idyllic surroundings, perfect for relaxing without the hustle and bustle of big cities. The sand is dark and the waters are clear and warm, making it one of Europe's biggest naturist beaches. There's also plenty of deep green pine trees to enjoy as well as golden sand beaches.
I've never seen a more breathtaking beach. The combination of towering mountains and the endless ocean creates an unforgettable landscape. The water is invitingly cold after a hot sunbath and perfect for a refreshing swim. The sand is soft and clean, making it ideal for laying out a towel. We felt very comfortable as nature and naturist lovers. I can't wait to return!
Manuel — Google review
Wonderful nude beach! Very few textiles, well mixed crowd (all ages, men and women), lively, but not too crowded either. Two restaurants/beach bars that can be enjoyed without clothing and you can do some hiking in the buff just behind the beach.
Chris — Google review
In my opinion only, the best beach i have been to in Spain. So much room for everyone, naturist or otherwise, but leave the dogs at home please. It appears to have a gentlemens only area at the far end but its fine for couples. A few lurkers behind the beach which is irritating but they are harmless.
Motorhomingmadness — Google review

Limited Parking so get there early For nudist sunbathing only plenty of signage on the beach stating this Voyerism is strictly forbidden The beach is mainly of sand approximately 1 km long. Steep slope once entering into the water. 2 chiringuitos on the beach, both have excellent choice of drinks and Menu at reasonable prices Really enjoyed the 2 days I spent there
Philip A — Google review
Nice big and wide naturist beach so plenty of space to feel comfortable. Parking nearby so easy access. The only disadvantage is that there are no toilets and showers.
Ergert C — Google review
Nice large and wide beach. Quite a steep and narrow road to reach the parking. Lots of stones, sand on the approach to the water and then stones and sand again. Quiet during weekdays but was very busy on Sunday afternoon. Families gathered closer to the beach entrance, in the middle of the beach there were more single men and men couples and then families and couples again towards the other end close to the camping.
Radoslaw M — Google review
One of the finest beaches in mainland Spain, which also happens to be naturist. So no swimsuits necessary. Directly behind the northern end lies the popular naturist resort of El Templo del Sol. The beach attracts large numbers of sunseekers, but there is space enough: a short stroll will be rewarded with a quiet spot for relaxing in solitude.

Devinssi Winery

Food & Drink
Devinssi Winery is a small and authentic winery located in the Priorat region of Spain. The winery offers an amazing tour with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide named Jordi, who makes the experience lively and entertaining for visitors. During the tour, guests have the opportunity to taste six different wines, all of which are delicious and well-crafted. In addition to providing a great tasting experience, Devinssi Winery also offers shipping options to customers in the United States.
Our sunset wine tasting with Jordi was a beautiful experience! He collected us (including our dog) from the town and drove us to a picnic table set on a hillside in the middle of the vines, with stunning views of the vineyards around. The wines were delicious, varied and each with its own story. Jordi was able to point to the places where the grapes had grown. He was excellent company, and has a level of English better than a native! I would fully recommend this tour and hope to go back one day!
Lucy K — Google review
Jordi and the Divinssi team are true professionals in every sense of the word. Our tour in early November was a real treat! We had the luxury of touring the winery and the fields, with a tasting in the fields. Jordi retrieved us from town and drove us out to the vineyard in his vehicle. We talked and laughed our whole way to the vines. Once in the vineyards he pointed out the different varieties that had gone into each of the four wines we tasted. Our tasting included tasty items from the local villages (incl. ibérico ham, fuet sausage, 2 local cheeses, olives, bread, and the most amazing almonds we have ever eaten). If you are reading this review to the end, then you need to go discover the Priorat wines - and speak with Jordi!
Ken K — Google review
From moment one, Jordi makes you feel welcome. The ‘tasting room’ is the best one yet…..the wines are exclusive and yummy. The view is outstanding. This is truly a unique experience. If Jordi is available (most months of the year), wear sensible shoes & show up! Enjoy.

A Magical Wine Tasting Experience at Sunset We visited with a group of 18 and had an unforgettable evening. The setting was stunning — overlooking the vineyard at sunset — and the wines were excellent. Jordy was a great host: friendly, informative, and passionate. A perfect mix of nature, wine, and warm hospitality!
Siska V — Google review
We had an amazing tour with Jordi. All was taken care of and the wines and nibbles tasted great. We learned a lot, he really knows how to make it a great experience adjusted to what you know so far about wines. Very recommended!

Our visit to Devinssi Winery was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the Pi dels Llops in Gratallops, we were greeted warmly by Jordi, who made us feel right at home. The experience began with a scenic and informative journey through the beautiful vineyards, where Jordi expertly guided us in his van. As we drove through the picturesque landscape, he shared fascinating details about the origins and age of the vines, as well as the unique characteristics of the different plots. It was a truly enriching experience that deepened our appreciation for the winemaking process. After our vineyard tour, we returned to Gratallops to the wine house for the much-anticipated tasting. The food plate, which consisted of locally produced delicacies, was simply delicious and complemented the wines perfectly. We had the pleasure of tasting four wines in total: three outstanding reds—Nas de les Valls, Il Lia, and Rocapoll—and a refreshing mineral white, Diviño. Each wine was unique and showcased the distinct terroir of the region. The visit concluded with a tour of the cellar, where the wines are aged and bottled. We left with some of our favorite wines in hand, feeling grateful for such a memorable experience. Thank you, Jordi, for an unforgettable day!

My daughter and I had the most fabulous day and evening with the Cellar Devinssi! We started out with a tour of their vineyard and cellar. We continued our visit with a wonderful tasting of their fabulous wines! Earlier we had contacted Jordi about staying at their newly finished apartment for the evening and it was wonderful! Everything was clean, great bed, bathroom, and easy walk to a great dinner that evening. We had a great stay and would love to return! If you are looking to stay in the area, this was a magical day and stay that a highly recommend !!

Cartoixa d'Escaladei is a historic Carthusian monastery founded in 1194, now transformed into a museum complex featuring cloisters, gardens, and churches. Nestled beneath the Monsant mountain range, the location offers breathtaking views. Despite ongoing reconstruction efforts that have sparked some debate, it remains an intriguing destination for delving into the region's cultural and wine-making heritage.
Definitely worth a visit. The grounds are beautiful and the mountains on the background are jaw dropping. I would recommend to have lunch at Rebost de la Cartoixa next door afterwards.

Beautiful, peaceful place, very much worth the 5 EUR entry ticket. There is also ample parking space.
Jenny — Google review
What an amazing place to visit. Rich in history and not well known. The ruins are beautifully preserved. A lot of restoration work is carried out. Entry fee is only 5 euros. The charterhouse was founded in 1194 and Escaladei was the first Carthusian Monastery on the peninsula. I really loved the arch at the entrance, it’s gorgeous. The square with the fountain in the middle is also stunning. If you in the area you should not miss it.
Ross M — Google review
The place is quite far away from anywhere and you must access it through curly mountain roads, yet worth it and recommended if you combine the visit with a wine tasting and lunch in the Scala Dei cellars!
Marc L — Google review
So this place is very out of the way, great if you want to visit somewhere less touristic. Entry fee is €5. The good: The restored cloister, they did a good job on it, it looks well, although parts of it were boarded up which didn't look good. The monk's cell, they restored one of them so you can get an idea of how they lived, you could see the living areas and a small cloister with plants, it was really quiet and I liked imagining how they lived. The bad: A lack of history, there are some information panels but I would have liked some more historical background. It looks a bit like a building site, I wish there were more open spaces open to the public instead of wired fences. Some of the buildings were renovated a bit, basically just a roof, they seemed very bare on the inside, no info, furniture or details. I recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for something to do
Johnjoe N — Google review
We visited Cartoixa d'Escaladei in late January 2023. We were surprised to find tour buses as we'd thought we were the only visitors in the region. There were about hundred or so tourists there. The ruins were much more extensive than I’d realized, and I hadn’t expected the renovation work that was in progress. They had restored some monk cells to give a sense of the monk’s everyday life: cloistered, i.e. no talking. They each had a small garden in which to grow flowers. I liked the desks with a view and the amazing history.
Lorena R — Google review
You need a car to get here. During our visit, theres a restoration going on. It was less touristy, so we could really enjoy the place. Hope to come back here again once everything is restored and no construction going on. The visit is still worth it.
Blanche L — Google review
Worth the visit- These old ruins were very cool. The drive up was just magical and serene. It’s about €3.50 to enter and you are free to walk around, check it out and take photos. There are informative panels all over explaining what happened to this monastery and showing you where things used to be. Definitely a cool experience and would highly suggest it!

Platja de Llevant in Salou is a long, sandy beach with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The golden sand stretches along the coastline, meeting clear, gentle waves perfect for a swim. Palm trees and promenade areas line the shore, giving it a pleasant, organized feel. While it can get busy during peak times, the beach offers plenty of space to relax, walk along the water, or enjoy a seaside snack. It’s an easy and enjoyable spot to spend a few hours soaking up the sun and the Mediterranean vibe.

The beach consists completely of sand, there are public facilities like toilets and showers to cleanse yourself from the sea water and sand. Water is scarce so you can only use it to rinse yourself. Sea is nice and shallow at the coast. it takes a lot of meters before it becomes deeper which is very child friendly. Depending on the weather, the sea tends to be wavy. Overall a nice beach with a large coastline.

had drinks in the early evening in one of the beach bars, good 80s music playing. plenty of people on the beach and water had a great time when it was dark all the fountains lit up different colours, and a light show to music was great

Wonderful beach with sunny sand and warm waters. Ideal for children to swim as not too deep and has variety of water activities to all the thrill seekers. Can hire the beach seating equipment for Euro 18 and has adjacent streets full of bars, restaurants and shops for tourists. Weekends get crowded due to the popularity of this beach in Salou.

Perfect beach experience. Warm clean water when visited in June. Gentle waves for young kids. Plenty of beach bars. Easy public parking. Public restrooms. Nice beach side walking.

Avoid avoid avoid. Horrendous in August, sea is packed, beach is packed, can't get anywhere near the front to sit. Can't let the kids (who are old enough) swim on their own because you can't see them. Can't go in altogether as Salou is bad for pickpockets and robberies so you absolutely cannot leave anything valuable on your sunbed/towel. There was turd floating round in the sea. Based on what we have seen here, we would never return to Salou for either a holiday or beach day. La Pineda beach right round the corner is AMAZING ❤️☀️

Nice beach, busy though so get there early e.g. 10am ish if you want sunbeds. We bought 3 beds and a parasol and it was 40€ which I thought was quite expensive. You do get a free small beer from the beach bar for each sunbed bought.

Lovely, clean, spacious park. Good selection of kids rides which my Son enjoyed, queues were short too so very little wait time for them. The star of the show is of course Red Force! I loved that there was a viewing area to sit and watch it whizz by. Worth a visit.

Amazing theme park one of a kind. Very spacious clean and organised. Get ready for long queues depends the days and times but worth the wait. Gates just open 16:30 and close late time enough to enjoy all the rides Me and my family enjoy a lot here... I would recommend a visit definitely
Happydays — Google review
I think most people will be visiting Ferrari Land purely for "The Red one", other than this ride we only went on 3 others as the park was only open 1700-2200. The Red one was great....the others not so much. But please near in mind we are seasoned Theme park visitors.....had we never had be on "soaring" we maybe would have appreciated "Flying dream" however with a 1hr 45 min wait we didn't. Racing legends seemed to be operating at Limited capacity and the "water jets" weren't working. We entered the park from Portaventura as hotel guests and queued for 30 mins, we then went straight to "The Red one" and queued for around 30 mins. The queues after that were over 2 hours. We ate at "Pit stop" the food was as expected for pizza, chips etc however the service was extremely slow. If you are willing to pay entry for 1 ride then its a good ride, generally the park isn't thay great, small and gift shops are crazy expensive.
Jo F — Google review
Amazing experience, would need a couple of days to do all rides as times were avg 1.5hrs. Museum had lots of interesting facts. Photo opportunities for all the family, in a road car and f1 car. If time isn’t on your side, pay for the fast track/express tickets and you can’t go wrong with those. If you like Ferrari heritage and fast rides, Red Force is the main attraction for that.
Laura G — Google review
Absolutely adore this place. Bought the 3 day 3 park tickets. Bought fast passes for the 5 ride pack and it was so good. The Ferrari ride is amazing. I went on it twice and was gutted I had to leave. Highly recommend this park. If you’re scared of rides or feel uneasy going on the red force ride GO ON IT!!!! You won’t regret it and it’s unbelievable.

If you are a F1 Ferrari team fan you will love this place! To see a real racing car, experience of driving a simulation of F1 race or adrenalin rush in a Red Force rollercoster is a lifetime memory! Even the children can ride in small cars and also try F1 simulator. Everything is amazing wherever you look. Highly recommended to any F1 fan.

A very nice destination for car enthusiasts , Ferrari’s all over the place! The Gallery is awesome, the store is modest the rollercoaster is wonderful. The Enzo Ferrari 3d video and simulator is unbelievable! They needed to add serious toys for big boys like me such as having a test drive with instructor on the circuit.

Wonderful water park, lots of different slides for both children and adults. You can have a snack or drink cold drinks. an important point for me personally, there are lockers, you can leave your phone, money, etc., but! remember the 3-digit locker number and the 6-digit code somehow or take a marker 😂 because you are given a paper receipt, my watch saved me, where I entered the code as a note. also, an important point for photo lovers, I carried my phone in a waterproof case, know that they will not let you on the slides with a chain, with a phone, etc., you need to take pictures! you can only take your phone to a slow river or to a pool

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.

Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!

We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Water & Amusement Parks
Located in Tarragona, Spain, PortAventura World is a seaside theme park that offers an array of attractions for visitors. The park is divided into six thematic areas: the Mediterranean, Polynesia, China, Mexico, the Far West and Sesamo Aventura. Each area features rides and shows related to its theme. From state-of-the-art roller coasters like Dragon Khan in China to live entertainment and water slides, there's something for everyone at this popular European destination.
I've wanted to visit this park for a long time, I've seen a lot of reviews on YouTube. And I finally came! The park itself is gorgeous, a huge area, a bunch of places with food and drinks, you can eat fast food, you can have salads, or you can find something interesting. It's also easy to choose from drinks, you can order lemonade, cola, beer, etc., there is ice cream. I advise you to buy an express ticket, we took it for 10 attractions, it was more than enough, otherwise you will stand in lines for 2 hours. We stood in line only for the slide from Ferrari, it took about 1 hour, but it was worth it!

Fantastic Day Out at the Water Park We had a fab day out—our kids absolutely loved it! We chose to go on a slightly cloudy day, which worked out perfectly for our youngest (age 5), as it made the heat more bearable. As expected during peak season, the queues were long—around 60 minutes for the popular attractions—but that’s to be expected in August. The park itself was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of facilities including toilets, lockers, and lots of food and drink options. For lunch, we spent €85 for our family of five. That included 3 junior meals (pizza, chips, pudding, and a drink) and 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and chicken & chips). Food was decent, and service was efficient. Overall, a great family day out. The kids had a blast and will definitely sleep well tonight.

Amazing amusement park! Would definitely go back sometime. The best advice is to buy express pass, as the waiting time for each attraction is between 40-60 minutes. We have visited the park on 16th October and it was so so crowded

One of the best theme parks in Europe. Some incredible rides, with beautiful scenery and setting. Fast ride operations too. There were also a vast choice of different attractions and restaurants too. However, we went in November and the water rides were closed except the rapids. Would’ve been nice to have them open but I understand there is maintenance needed on these rides.

PortAventura is full of variety and well worth the visit — but a little planning makes the day smoother with a tip. Bring a refillable bottle, as there are fountains around the park to top up. You’ll need at least 5–6 hours to cover the rides, especially with waiting times. The Express Pass really depends on when you go — we visited on a Tuesday at the end of September and rarely waited more than 30 minutes, though some rides did creep up to 50+ minutes at peak times. A good tip is to go for rides during or just after typical lunch hours, when queues are often much shorter.

Love this theme park . One of the best actual themed parks I've been too . The rides are all amazing. Although have to say was a bit disappointed with uncharted...it could have been so much better. The AR mine train was amazing with the serpents flying over your head. Not been here for 10 years and didn't see many changes or new rides since last time. But still great and my 5 time here

Fantastic Port Aventura World This park has incredible rides, we loved it with my son. Our favourite was Furious Baco ! It was the 1st of January this year, so was not too crowded and a FANTASTIC way for us to begin the year. We will back we loved this park!

Amazing experience. Travelled from the UK for 3 days, as we wanted a change from Thorpe park and alton towers. BEST DECISION. Not only are the rides faster and higher, they are so much longer than UK rides. we went 13 to 15th May, myself my 13 year old and my 55year old mum. we all absolutely loved it. we stayed at the gold river hotel and came after late breakfast so no queuing to enter but would be happy to travel here from another hotel in future. Managed to do most rides on the first day and we only arrived at 4ish but queues were gradually longer as the days went by and park got busier. ride times varied from 15 mins to 90 mins. highly recommend you use the app and plan your route. We didn't realise how long the walk was from the western area to ferrai land. many rides shut early too. Only 1 ride was not working for the 3 days we visited. The shows were 10/10 . We saw the bubble show- so good and unexpected, aloha tahiti, and un viaje fascinate the 30th anniversary show- which I highly recommend. the arena, the music, the performers - it was such a high standard. The birthday parade was good too. many of the sit down food venues were closed which was disappointing but it was low season I guess. there were plenty of places to get snacks. Single ride queues were very quick. I highly recommend buying a photo and video pass. The videos really capture the moments. We paid about €15 per video on day 3, wish we bought the pass on day 1 when we covered most rides. lots to do for all ages but I particularly like how much is available for younger children and those who don't want thrills. we missed the fireworks so try to catch those too! Highly recommend overall you won't be disappointed.

Water & Amusement Parks
Aquopolis Costa Daurada in La Pineda Salou is a thrilling aquatic amusement park offering an array of attractions for the whole family. From giant water slides to swimming pools and marine life shows, there's something for everyone. The park also features chill-out areas where you can relax and rent loungers or floats. With its numerous restaurants, kiosks, and shops, Aquopolis Costa Daurada promises a fun-filled day out.
We all had a great time here! Myself and my partner came with our three kids (10, 7 and 2) all had a great time (contrary to my daughters face in the photo) The thing that makes me most nervous about waterparks/theme parks is the queue with children as it can really effect the day. No queue to get in and the maximum we waited was 3-4 minutes to get on a ride so it was perfect. Good mixture of slow rides for everyone and a couple of bigger/faster slides for more thrill seeking people. A few of the food places where shut down so that was limited but we went on a weekday and we went out of peak times so that was to be expected. 100% you need to get discount tickets from a local shop/hotel - they all have them! its not cheap and everywhere you go they are giving away free discounts for 25% each ticket so get them!

I have been visiting Spain for over six years with my family during our summer holidays, and one of the highlights of our trips has always been Aquopolis Costa Daurada. We have always looked forward to coming here, and it has brought us a lot of joy over the years. However, I’ve noticed that the infrastructure and attractions have remained largely unchanged during this time. While the park still offers enjoyable experiences, it feels like there has been little development or innovation in terms of services, facilities, or new attractions. To keep up with modern expectations and continue attracting loyal and new visitors alike, I believe it would be beneficial to consider some updates or improvements. Whether it’s renovating existing areas, adding new features, enhancing customer service, or improving guest comfort—any steps toward development would make a big difference. We truly appreciate the memories we’ve made at Aquopolis Costa Daurada, and we hope to see the park evolve in a positive way in the years to come.

Clean ! This was my first impression, the water was clean not smelling like chlorine, no stinging in eyes 👀 . It’s a bit of a queue on some attractions but the staff is managing it pretty quick . The kids zone if you are with a small child is a bit crouded (normal) , even if your little one cannot swim there are free life-jackets.

Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some local shops.

This is the best aquatic park of the country for us. We have bene fer almost 6 years and we never get tired of it. This is the last test and the mantainance is not as good as other years. But the security is still perfect. Sad to say that it is the last day we go there, because it will be closed.

A super place to bring the family. But the queues are long (unless you pay for an extortionate speedy pass), and over the years instead of there being new things, there are actually less things to do. A wee revamp and a new slide or two would help. Food seems pricey but the portions we got were good size leaving everyone full.

Great waterpark, good selection of rides. I got a discount for booking online but didn't realise you had to pay for sunbeds etc. worth while just putting towels on the grassy areas for the amount we used them and next time we would definitely take food into the park for lunch. There was a lot of queueing as you queue for the rings to sit on then you queue again for the slide. Overall we had a great day and really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

It was a nice waterpark. With nice slides for bigger kids and awesome Pools for the smaller kids. Waiting lines for the slides were very long. And you do not know how long it takes before its your turn. At the 'oval-slide' a slide for families where you go in a little boat for 4, we waited 1,5h in line and the slide took not even 30 secconds.
