A lovely memorial to the slaughtered animals of Wroclaw on butchers alley. Very nice statues and lovely little street that had some art and some shops for gifts if you would like some artsy gifts to take home.

Despite the handcraft shops that there are to be discovered and one of the pubs with popular «pub quizs», you will undoubtely notice the animal sculptures. They were placed there as an hommage to them, but not because they were heroes or something like this... In an earlier time when the Rynek and the Colth hall were used as a market place, not every produce could be traded there, but those supposed clean. It meant that meat had to be selled and bought a bit farther. Thus little street not far was the chisen place. In fact just in front of the animals you will still find the wood doors on the floor were merchants kept the meat (and themselves) underground to offer it to the people passing by without spreading their smell.

Beautiful waterfall and great experience! There’s a small entry fee to get closer to the falls, and they provide helmets for safety. The walk is scenic, and the view up close is amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice waterfall, we got to see it strong after a rainy day. Expensive for what it is, the paid section to the bottom literally takes 5 minutes. It is cool to see however. Free to look from top. I hate they paved the path up there, it is supposed to make it accessible for seniors but nobody's grandma is going up that hill! It takes 15 minutes to walk there from the parking lot.

Beautiful place and very short walk from the main road. There are two parking lots. The one at the entrance is small and gets full quite fast. The second one near the intersection is a good choice. The waterfall is really beautiful. It gets icy on the trail there, so crampons are highly recommended.

Lovely walk through the forest to the waterfall. Quite a steep track at the end and steps to climb to the waterfall viewing area. We were lucky that it was a quiet time and we had good views.

Waterfall is an amazing natural spot surrounded by peaceful forest. The walk to get there is easy and refreshing, and the sound of the waterfall is just magical. Great place for photos and a short hike — definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

You really should go visit Mumlava waterfall instead it's really close, it's free ( beside pay parking ) and it's a really nice area and waterfall, instead of waiting for a looooong time and pay for going down to see this waterfall.

Great castle 😍 good state & lot of attractions.

We visited the castle and toured the rooms. Very nice setting. We did not stay at the hotel, but visited for a day. A large part of the front gate and keep was off-limits for visitors, likely due to safety and restoration, but was a disappointment for our young boys who live to explore castles. It was a nice place to explore and relax.

I took one star from the service just because they couldn't speak English and the menu was handwriten so I couldn't translate or understand then I decided not to eat there, but the staff is kind even if not speaking English, which was nice. The place had toilets, some tables and chairs to eat/chill and good parking area inside the castle. Everything really clean.

WAY to expensive tickets!!! Half, if not more, of the castle is closed off, you pay 28 PLN to see a few rooms with bunch of random furniture. Take a picture from the outside and save yourself the money! Only up is that there is free parking

This was a lot of fun. I really enjoy the old castles that let you explore every nook and cranny on your own. There’s something a lot more personal to be let alone to explore at whim. A lot of great views from the rooftops and fun camera angles. A must stop if you’re in the area. We drove over and hour to get here and it was totally worth it!

So much beauty in one place. In a magnificent green forest lies a beautiful waterfall. Recommended for a visit. The road from the parking lot to the waterfall takes about fifteen minutes but goes along a well-maintained path through the forest and is very pleasant. There are various hiking trails in the area. There are several cafes to stop and refresh yourself.

It is beautiful there and the way to the waterfall is pretty chill. On the weekend were there a few people, but we did go again on a Monday and there was nobody ^^

It's not the biggest waterfall i have seen but it's one of the prettiest and it's easy to find places where the kids can jump around on the rocks and in the water, we are for sure going to come back to this area again. You have to pay for parking but it's not that expensive.

This waterfall is truly the most breathtaking natural wonder I have ever seen. It is the tallest, most powerful, and most mesmerizing sight nature could possibly create. The cascading water sparkles in the sunlight, creating the most magical rainbow views imaginable.

The castle is recommended for a visit. One of the big advantages is that you can tour the castle independently and do not have to wait a long time for a tour in a language that you also do not understand. It is important to note that there is a steep climb from the parking lot to the castle itself. Not suitable for people with accessibility problems or walking problems. There are also many stairs inside the site that you have to climb. An impressive view opens up from high points of the castle. Before going up to the castle, there is organized paid parking. Unlike all parking lots of this type, here you can pay by credit card. There are restaurants on the way up to the castle. Animals are not allowed.

Amazing piece of history. It's located on top of a hill, commanding an amazing view of the province around it. My friends had played Kingdom Come: Deliverence 2 and recognized a lot of the places inside the castle ruin from the game. There are some small kiosks and tourist shops there for souvenirs and snacks.

You'll spot it from far off. The ruins of Trosky castle are a must see on your Kingdom Come pilgrimage. The views from the top are worth the climb.

I’m leaving my opinion with regards to the visit to the castle, not the hotel. Unfortunately the trip went bad. We have a 2 years old daughter and my wife is 7 months pregnant. Usually this is not an issue and we are used to travel quite a lot, our daughter as well. We visit castles, museums etc. When a visit involves going down or up a very narrow tower or suffocating space, the guide informs visitors in advance. Well, not here. The group was quite numerous for those spaces and at the end of the tour, we were invited to visit the cellars but, little did we know that this involved going down a very very claustrophobic space. So my wife had to go back almost fainting and my little daughter didn’t handle that and I had to follow my wife. Of course with ZERO help from the guide or other visitors. That was just..bad. Overall the experience as a human was negative.

As a foreigner non polish speaking person the experience was mediocre at best. We were told that we could not see the castle unless we joined a tour. They only offered polish speaking tours apparently. The guide seemed mad at us for being there. Very poorly serviceminded. The castle it self was beautiful. But would it recommend for non polish speakers.

The promotional materials claim that the castle looks like something out of Harry Potter… well, that’s quite an exaggeration. I get that they need to attract tourists somehow, but the PR team really let their imagination run wild here. Take that description with about 2% truth—maybe even less. But the surroundings, especially in autumn, are truly beautiful.

Fantastic place to visit with great history. As a hotel I would say it mid-range, with simple breakfast and small car park. But the surroundings makes up for that. And quite expensive to be honest.

It’s true that the castle and its grounds are spectacular — perched above the river with rose gardens and fountains, with its old walls and ramparts intact. The hotel, on the other hand, is a letdown. First, hotel parking was not free nor was it close to the castle. Written info on the castle is not available in English (confusing, as some signage inside is in English). There is no seating in the lobby, which is OK only when weather is nice. The vast majority of the castle is not accessible, nor was a tour offered when I checked in. There are amenities listed online and in their brochure that do not exist (e.g. a sauna and spa facilities). Wifi was spotty and at times did not work at all. think it’s a shame that one of Europe’s most spectacular castle hotels is, as it turns out, not very nice at all.

I was expecting more, at least something like Książ. Unfortunately, the group was quite big and noisy and at times it was hard to hear the guide. The castle itself is just average, not more than that. The ticket price is 10 euros for an adult, which is 5 times more expensive than in some Spanish castles. I wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it to my friends either.

I left the place with tears in my eyes. In my life I have visited many zoos in many places around the world, but I have never seen animals so sad, exhausted, neglected. The place is really depressing. There are many restaurants and play areas for children there. The signage is simply terrible! We followed the exit sign and it took us right to the other end of the zoo and we had to walk about fifteen minutes to the parking lot.

Nice mid-sized zoo ( the first one founded in Czech Republic in 1904) where one can easily spend 2-3 hours. Animals look happy and taken care of. Food inside is ok to feed the kids.

Poor male lion was just really suffereing through lack of stimulus and just taking 2-3 steps and turning around. Solitary elephant. Solitary tapier with nothing. No access to bedding. Like the lion just pacing up and down.A pond but securly fenced off. Solitary elephant just a small concrete surface clearly suffering No grass or vegetation like most enclosures. Painfull to see Flamingos rubbing their beaks on hard ground desparately wanting the right conditions. I could go on but definitely a place to miss. The botanical gardens are 5 mins walk away. I was there in April 2025, so i opted for the €1 Euro zoo as little in flower. Big mistake I do hope Trust pilot publish because we need the trooth

If the volières for the animals weren’t so tiny I would have given this place 5*. Animals were bored because they hadn’t enough space. Especially it concerns larger species. Seeing them in those prison cages was very sad. 😢 If I had money I would definitely invest into a reconstruction of that place! 😖

Very nice zoo with special white tigers - the main attraction. Definitely worth visiting while in town. You can spend there like 2 hours. The cats seems to have a smaller rooms that I would expected. That’s actually similar for all animals here - you would think they should have more space but yeah, it’s a zoo 🤷🏼‍♂️ there is only one restaurant and one cafe so when visiting during weekend the line was ridiculous.

We visited this zoo with our 2 kids. The entrance price is very affordable (€5,- for adults) and the zoo itself looks nice with lots of trees. Many cages are kinda small for the animals and needs renovation. There are 2 play ereas for the kids. Both are fun and looks neat.

One of the best science museums I've visited. An experience for the whole family. We were there for several hours and left feeling like we hadn't exhausted ourselves. Lots of halls with different themes, kids really enjoyed it and so did we, the parents. Paid parking on site. Very impressive!

Only if your child truly enjoys science. One child liked it, while the other two did not. I tried to get a refund or go outside and return for the planetarium show, but that wasn't possible.

A great place for all the family. Multi levels to explore themed around concepts, space maths etc. There is also an observatory simulation to watch an interesting space show. But must book in advance. Parking is Simplon pay as you go. We really liked the design and I am surprised why more cities don't have places like this.

Good to visit, when weather is not advising to be outside. Many interactive objects, 5 floors, pram accessable. Nice canteen. From minuses: some spaces has not enough breathable air and WCs has no space for babies to change diapers.

We enjoyed a lot as a whole family, There is some stuff that will make fun for adults, for bigger children and also for smaller ones. We also liked the idea of having a separate floor dedicated to different areas. Things like thermovision camera, water floor, the option to test yourself as a TV person presenting the weather, The music spectacle from lightning and many, many more. There is also a bar, but we did not try. You can spend all day there if in need to check all what they have there. Worth to mention that this attraction is also part of verall package with the overnight hotel stay and you can use it even after checkout, but need to inform at the font desk to get a pass.

A must-to experience: every school supposed to be like this: there would be much more talents on the world, instead of taking away cildren's interest about sciences in a boring classroom, forced them to sit there for hours...

We happened to get here on a morning of heavy fog that made it impossible to even see the tower from below. It takes about 15-20 minutes to climb from the upper parking lot to the tower itself. It's a very steep climb and not suitable for people with walking problems. But once it starts to clear up, amazing views will be revealed. The tower itself is now a hotel. There is a plaza with benches for observation and a small kiosk with drinks, food, and souvenirs. Please note that payment at the upper parking lot is cash only.

Popular peak near Liberec. A bit too popular to my liking: there were a lot of people, even though it was a weekday. The path up was also quite rocky. On the bright side, the views were nice and the prices for food and drinks are quite reasonable, given the location.

Good hiking at the top, only the uphill is at the start, than it is quite easy. Good views on the city and around nature from here. Inside the Jested it is not so beautiful and not very good coffee and food.

A beautiful and fascinating building – I’ve always wanted to visit this place and finally got the chance to see the interior. The view from the top is absolutely stunning. This is a must-visit destination for every tourist coming to the Czech Republic.

The surreal and beautiful transmission tower has a remarkably delicious restaurant with warm service. The amuse bouche was a watermelon feta gazpacho and whet the appetite. Following was fabulous smoked salmon and a delicious oyster mushroom main dish. Loved the whole experience.

Nice walk up the mountain with good weather. We parked a bit up the mountain as the cable car was out of function and we didn't want to do the full hike. Still a nice half our trail up, with pretty views. Jested is nice to see at the top and get a snack or drink. Depending on the weather I would do this again.

On a picturesque bank holiday, my family and I ventured to Görlitz, eager to immerse ourselves in its enchanting old town, highlighted by the imposing St. Peter's and Paul's church. Dominating the skyline with its majestic twin towers, the church stands as a beacon of the Middle Ages, casting its historical spell over the town. However, our excitement was tempered by disappointment as we discovered the church to be closed. Despite this setback, its exterior beauty alone was enough to leave us in awe, imagining the splendor hidden within its walls. While unable to explore its interior, the church undeniably serves as a captivating centerpiece of Görlitz's rich history. Despite the missed opportunity, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this architectural gem, a testament to Görlitz's storied past and a must-see for any enthusiast of historical marvels.

From what we could see, the building was indeed beautiful and impressive. Unfortunately we arrived in the middle of a performance on the church organ, and so it was not possible to wander around. We sat through about fifteen minutes of fairly simple tunes, with commentary, after which we got up and left (and although entrance is free, and we hadn't come for the organ performance, there was someone asking for donations at the exit). Outside, we looked at the view (also quite impressive) for a few minutes, then walked round the back of the church. As we did so, we heard some tremendous playing - we thought it was probably a piece by Bach, although we couldn't actually identify it - and stood by a wooden door to listen. We went on a Thursday and arrived at about 12:20. So my advice is - check before you go that there is no event scheduled, and if you do go to an organ performance, stay to the end (but maybe take something to read during the first half hour).

The location of Stalag Luft III is within a beautiful forest where the ruins are located. As been stated, this is a famous World War II historical site made famous by the Steve McQueen movie "The Great Escape". Interesting walk through the ruins with informative placards.

Great wee museum, cash only entry, they take ZL and Euro. €5 entry. Museum building with detailed information and artifacts. Full recreated POW hut. Then go 1km out into the woods, still on the POW Camp site to see the site. Of bits 104 105 and tunnel Harry. You can drive there. There's also a memorial to the 50 escaped officers that were shot. Great Escape. 👍

Be aware that the museum doesn't open until 10am. That aside, it's a fantastic place to visit and helps to tell the story of life in Stalag Luft lll. I felt that I understood the escape much better after I had visited here and I consider it a must do for all fans of the story

Incredible location. Out in the middle of the woods with no restrictions on access. A poignant reminder of the bravery and determination of those that fought for the freedom of Europe. Be aware the museum nearby is closed on a Monday.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to go to the real great escape camp. My pops showed me this movie when I was 13 and I’ve watched it a lot throughout my life. So on my first euro trip I included Poland in it for a few days, rented a car and drove from Wroclaw, about 95 miles. The actual site is about a half a mile away from the museum which is really cool! The woman there didn’t speak English, you’re in zagan so it’s expected, I didn’t have cash, they require cash but she nicely let me in. I spent about two hours at stalag luft 3, there isn’t much there but remains, but it’s beautiful. Can’t believe I finally made it there.

A real experience to walk around the remains of the camp and to view where 'Harry' tunnel ran. Shocking murders by the Gestapo of 50 escapees who were selected for death from all those who made their bid for freedom during 'The Great Escape'

Our historical experience takes around 1,5 hour to explore whole castle. Majestic views, beautiful scenery and vibeish architecture. In the midl is small kiosk ( very expensive) the entrance per adult 8€, good price 😁. You are free to walk around, make a photos & videos 😊. Parking has two options, near the castle or under the hill and then 30 min walk. We preferred the walk 😉

Great place for a walk. Beautiful location on the top of a mountain with amazing views. We were lucky and could enjoy a concert in the ruins of the abby. There is a parking near to the castle, where you can pay with a card.

Beautiful ruins and scenic views! There is quite a lot to see here probably can spend more than 2 hours exploring the area. Also, Before entering the castle area there are also a few trails if one follows the signs.

I was really really surprised when I saw the castle and especially the dome. It is simply amazing. The castle is quite large and you shall consider two hours at least for the visit. Entrance for family is € 17. Parking for 4 hours € 3.

It's an amazing creation in the nature. There is no word to describe it! 2hrs aren't enough to discover each of beauty! A place certainly to see!

Really sad to get to know the past and how was life or surviving in a place like this, the entrance was about 10€ per person, there are toilets for free inside, don't miss the cinema, it shows a movie of about 20 minutes where you can get most of the information and history for free as well and it was translated in English.

If you’re planning a visit to the Terezín Memorial, I highly recommend making an online reservation in advance. While there are a few basic informational signs scattered around the site, most of the historical context and stories require a guided explanation to truly understand the significance of what you're seeing. The admission ticket includes a guided tour, but you must book it online beforehand through their official website. Several language options are available, making it accessible for international visitors. There is a small kiosk within the site that offers vending machines, and the town has a few grocery stores. However, it’s a good idea to bring your own light meal and drinking water for the visit, as options on-site are limited. Also, make sure to set aside time to visit the other museums in town. The ticket to the concentration camp also grants you access to several important museums in the town of Terezín, and they are absolutely worth seeing. These museums provide essential context and help paint a fuller picture of the site's history.

My nephew as me about Auschwitz when we were in Germany so we drove there the following week. As I read on the Internet that we need to reserve as we won’t get in, that was false, the free entrance are limited and need to be reserved but the tour in your language happens every couple hours or so and with many language, of it is 70€ but to really get the feeling and understanding of the place, I think you need the guided tour. Our guide was not that enthusiastic but I guess this is in their mantra. Her English was good for conversation but maybe a bit lacking for this kind of guiding but this did not bother the group I was in. For some reason I was expecting more from what everyone I know who have been there where telling me about the feeling and all but maybe I just been to too many of similar place when I was in the military… definitely recommend to go there with your younger members of the family so that we never forget and don’t let the Israelis repeat the same thing now with the Palestinians

A must visit, worth the day trip from Prague. We booked the tour online in advance but they didn’t even check the reservation. The guided tour was nice, if you don’t do it I’m not sure how you’d get information on the buildings as there is very little signage. They do run 4 or 5 tours at the same time, just in different languages. This means it’s quite crowded. It would be better if they staggered the times. They offer tours in many languages, and your entrance ticket here works in numerous other sights throughout the town as well.

Events that happened here shouldn't be forgotten. I appreciate how places like these remind us to never let these things happen again. Although, Theresienstadt wasn't really an extermination camp it reminds us of how much suffering humans can inflict on one another.

Great place to hiking, on website was mentioned that all roads are expert, but as I feel you can go even with kids. One minus, if you want to sit on the top in restaurant you need to pay for entrance, I think it strange decision , as you will pay for food and drinks. Queue for tickets in weekend 15-25 min

In a stunning location amazing place for those who like hiking. It is quite steep in places but the path is beautifully done so everyone can do it. The hike took about 1.5 hours to get to the most incredible natural arch I have ever seen and it is worth to get exhausted on the way. The award on the top is fantastic, lovely restaurant and magnificent views. Access to the final part is restricted by times so it is worth to check out before trip to avoid disappointment and also you have to pay for it but cost is not expensive. Car park available on the bottom in the nearest town.

Truly amazing natural formation. The walk is a bit far from the bottom but manageable. Bring comfortable shoes, open toe are not recommended, there's a lot of loose gravel, sand, and boulders. Once at the top the cost at the main door is 125 kc, but online you can pay 50 kc. Definitely recommended. Walk along the outside edge of the archway and get some great pictures.

We had an extremely interesting hiking experience, saw incredible landscapes and beauties. You have to see it with your own eyes. Parking for a car costs 12 euros. It takes from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to climb up, depending on your physical condition. Entrance to the most interesting places on the mountain costs 5 euros. The road from Prague by car is about 2 hours. Interesting, beautiful, you will not regret it

Well… even just being here means surrendering yourself to the genius loci of this world-class natural wonder! So close one eye a little.. enjoy your refreshment in this rather simple buffet.. and don’t be surprised by the crowds. What truly matters is the wooden chateau itself.. magnificent building that literally breathes history.

We visited this stunning site during the Easter holidays, and while it was quite crowded, the experience was absolutely worth it. The hike begins at Hřensko, with a well-marked trail leading you upward. There’s ample parking available at the base, but it fills up quickly—so it's best to arrive early. The trail is fairly steep in places, so wearing proper hiking shoes and carrying enough water is highly recommended, especially if you're visiting on a warm day. Once you reach the top, there’s a small entrance fee. At the summit, you will find a cafe, a kiosk, clean restrooms and an information center where you can purchase souvenirs. Note that the kiosk and souvenir shop accept cash only, so be sure to bring some with you. The panoramic views from the top are absolutely breathtaking - perfect for taking a break and soaking in the scenery.

Pravčická Gate, located in Bohemian Switzerland National Park, is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe and a true geological wonder. The hike to reach it is scenic and well-marked, starting typically from the village of Hřensko (Paid parking, in high season there may not be enough spaces). The site can get crowded in peak season, and there's a small entrance fee. Easy route, for people of all ages.

I stopped to park my car in Bad Muskau with the intention to visit this nearby beautiful 19th century castle built by prince Hermann von Puckler. I was on my way back to Switzerland after a long roadtrip around northern Scandinavia and had discovered this place is now part of the Unesco world heritage sites. The prince was admiring the classical English garden layouts of its time and made a reproduction in the vast piece of land surrounding his castle. After WWII parts of these gardens are now on Polish territory and the property is the only one in the world to be situated in two countries. When I visited in July of 2025 major parts of the castle facades were undergoing renovation work but the most beautiful sections were still possible to photograph undisturbed by the work. Pots with citrus fruit trees are now decorating the path leading to the entrance of the castle that houses exhibitions, a gift shop and a café. Unfortunately you cannot eat or drink here unless you carry cash, no debit or credit card is accepted. The shop has a great deal of interesting literature on gardening, some written by the prince. Walking the vast garden area is recommended for those who have time to spare for a beautiful experience.

We drover here from Berlin. It's an easy drive. Took us about 1:30 minutes. There was plenty of Parking. We arrived at 11:47 and left at 16:50. We walked all over the Park Grounds. Pick up a Map makes it easier to navigate the Park. Part of the Park is in Poland. The Castle is also very nice. We walked up the Tower. It has 3 levels and you can get up into the spire and the all around. Each level of the Tower has small exhibites. We had a really good time. I can highly recommend to visit this Park.

Located on the border of Poland and Germany, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Muskau Park is an excellent proposition for those who like spending time actively, outdoors, in the bosom of nature. The park is huge, you can spend all day there.

Really really well maintained park with a beautiful palace inside. The terrain is quite large with a small waterfall and some ups and downs. Entrance to the park is free so don't wait and go for a stroll if you are around.

What a peaceful and wonderful park! I liked coming here especially in the morning during my stay when I can have the whole park by myself. It’s located at the border between Germany and Poland. I came here to attend my friend’s wedding and she got us a horse carriage ride around Muskauer Park. It was a great experience.

Found it on Google maps under dinosaur attractions and boy it didn't dissapoint. Massive park with dinosaurs hidden at times in woods, plenty of playgrounds and little places that will remind you 90s was the best decade. The Jurrasic Park bit was our favourite. You can stay overnight in a parking lot if you are self-sufficient Shop could do with bit of variety, but that's really not important. Loved it! Oh, and there is a very informative section about the evolution of the human relations:)

Experience is better than expected. Something for every ages. Great playgrounds for even the little ones. And also an impressive interpretation of jurassic park in the "vergessene Welt" area. Respect! Can recommend this park. Hint: no quality food available, only basic fast food on single use dishes... better bring your own food.

We had so much fun at this place. My kids, wife, and I enjoyed walking around checking out all the dinosaurs. We will be coming back for sure during the summer.

Nice place for family, a lot of species of Dinosaurs, prehistoric animals and caveman. Huge area to explore. A lot of playground's for kids, also educational panels. There is a small restaurant, and also Ice cream at the end of the road. We were two times there until now, and I still have a feeling that we didn't see everything. My first time in Saxony and Saxon Switzerland. Lovely place to enjoy the nature. Crowded however. On the other hand, few walk trials there, so don't wait but go visit the site!

It is worth going around the whole circle. Before the nearest parking lot, we turn left and go clockwise. An impressive descent of over 800 steps.

What an incredible surprise! Nestled in the middle of nowhere, this mountain/valley comes to you as a delightful revelation. Its appearance is unlike anything you’ve seen before, setting it apart from its surroundings. This is one of the most breathtaking mountain vistas I’ve ever laid eyes on. From various viewing points, you can capture the towns below and the railroads. There are multiple vantage points that offer a panoramic view of the valley, the mountain, and the bridge itself, where you’ll be standing. However, note that the site requires walking up and down, which can be challenging for those with mobility issues. Additionally, you’ll need some stamina to navigate the stairs. If you’re driving by, I highly recommend making a stop at this place.

Bastei Bridge is an absolutely stunning place to visit – around 4.5 hours from Berlin and quite easy to reach. The bridge, originally built in the mid-19th century (1851), offers some of the best panoramic views in the region. You can see the river and surrounding rock formations from the top – it’s truly breathtaking. It is a popular spot, so expect crowds, especially during peak times. If you’re not up for hiking, there’s also a bus that can take you very close to the site, which is convenient. Nearby, we found a lovely place that served excellent local beer – the Dunkel beer was a highlight and definitely worth trying! Highly recommended for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys scenic landscapes with a touch of history.

The Bastei is a stunning rock formation towering above the Elbe River in Saxon Switzerland, Germany. Famous for its breathtaking views and unique sandstone bridges, it’s a favorite spot for hiking and photography. Visiting the Bastei feels like exploring a natural fortress shaped by centuries of wind and water.

Pillnitz Castle is an absolute gem just outside of Dresden. There is ample parking. The combination of Baroque and Chinese-inspired architecture is stunning, and the riverside setting along the Elbe makes it feel like something out of a fairytale. The gardens are nicely maintained—especially lovely in spring when the wisteria is in full bloom, the views across the water are serene. Great for a peaceful walk, a bit of history, or just to soak up the scenery. Highly recommended if you’re in the area! Entrance free is 12 euro for adults, we did not go in.

Fantastic experience! Beautiful gardens. You can make beautiful strolls here. Prices are very generous, 12€ for all visits in every museum. This is an activity you can make for a whole day. There is a restaurant and bistro at the property.

Beautiful palace but much of it was under renovation and available to visit. This was only mentioned after we bought tickets. The building that was open is also still under renovation and the exhibit needs a little more work. It’s all in progress and looks like it will be great once it’s open.

Imposing castle on the Elba River reacheable by boat from Dresden. Not much remains inside of the original splendor while the facades and the parks still conveys the grandeur of the epoche !

The prices are very reasonable, with just 12€ granting access to all the museums. I thoroughly enjoyed strolling through the garden, where you can overlook the vibrant and stunning castles. The highlight for me was the magnolia tree, which is said to be around 250 years old and it is absolutely beautiful. Inside, the interiors are a captivating blend of cultural history and artistic design, which I absolutely adore. The colors are vibrant, and the museum is easy to navigate, with translations available in both English and German, which is incredibly helpful. The Pillnitz Castle is definitely worth a visit!

Christmas garden illumination was so pretty. One around tour is about 1 hour course. Nice walking path with fun illumination attractions. There're little stands for little snack and drinks, it's fun to visit. Good for a family walk. Pity that dogs couldn't get in.

I feel like I paid for nothing, I bought the tickets and nobody asked for them, everything was open. The castle was closed, and the only thing I saw was the building with the plants, nothing special, looka better in pictures.

We drove out early because it was going to be a very hot day (34 C) and we had our dog with us. The inner park is beautiful with incredible trees. They’re all well looked after and the paths go through nice shaded and open areas. You can tell Fürst Pückler loved nature and things dear to him. Where else would you find a grave for his dog, his favourite Arabian horse and a pyramid for his wife. It’s certainly worth while coming here also during the other seasons to see the colours of the trees. The mansion costs 9€ entrance fee and has a big collection of paintings and a beautiful library. There are 3 places where you can take a break. We had lunch at the „Kavalier“ and ended the tour at the cafe „Der Kleine Kavalier“, where we also got water for the dog (don‘t worry, we had enough water for him with us)

It says we can't ride a cycle at the entrance. But it's more when cycling I guess. It's calm, beautiful and people who love to have these food dates in nature must visit. Nothing is available to buy though, bring everything with you and keep the premises clean.

This beautifully symmetrical palace, nestled in the middle of a man-made lake, exudes a charming yellow and white exterior that pays homage to the local style. Step inside and embark on a journey through time, exploring the palace’s rich history and the fascinating artifacts it houses. Take a leisurely stroll around the palace to capture a breathtaking 360-degree view, which won’t take much of your time. On the right side of the palace, you’ll find a staircase leading up to a hidden gem: a metal Cinderella shoe! This palace was the filming location for the Czech version of Cinderella, and ladies are welcome to try on the iconic sandal. Men might even want to give it a shot! This charming castle is a perfect destination for a quick and enjoyable visit.

Famous castle which was the main location for Tří Oříšky pro Popelku ( a Czech Cinderella film). Was closed as they are preparing for the winter exhibition, however, the grounds were beautiful and the outside of the castle was impressive. Half an hour ride in a large horse and carriage (there were 3 adults, 5 children and 1 toddler),cost 50 euros.

Amazing experience, especially with the HistoPad, displaying that you can combine history with modern technology. We visited the caste on a Sunday, there was no need to buy the tickets in advance. Tour takes roughly ~1h, and is very informative, Highly recommended!

We visited Moritzburg Castle yesterday. It was a very rainy day, so we could not enjoy the outdoors and gardens much, but that did not take away from the splendor of the inside of the castle. It was stunning! The castle was originally built as a hunting lodge 1542-1546. The rooms inside the castle had so much detail and history. I really loved the tapestry of Charles V from 1545. Just amazing. I also really enjoyed the Chapel. Moritzburg is a must visit for history lovers. It’s an easy bus ride (about 30 min) from Dresden Nuestadt Station and a short walk from the bus stop. Amazing day!

Pros: 1.Beautiful castle with lots of furnished rooms. 2. Staff allows lift access for wheelchair users if one staff member is nearby. 3.Beautiful garden where you can walk around. 4.A massive parking area right infront of castle. 5.One cafe is located exactly at the castle grounds. Cons: 1.No stroller or pram can be taken inside. 2.The lifts are only useable if a staff member allows it which is very inconvenient for wheelchair users. 3.Lots of steps/stairs.

Nice palace located on the lake island. Did not go inside so I cant judge that. Outside is nice, but I have seen better once. Its ok to visit, but dont feel bad if you have missed it.

Definitely worth to visit! The inside as well as the gardens are stunning. Better to come here in the morning to avoid the crowds on the parking lot. There are two parking areas. One just in front of the palace and the other one from the back (5 min walk from the palace). Parking is 1,50€ per hour.

Today we visited this Museum. It was really interesting. It’s not too big, but the last bit is currently shut as they are renewing a few things. There are some things for children to do. Stories are told in some of the houses. There are toilets inside, if needed.

A bit too small for the entry fee but as a student you get 1,50€ discount on regular 5,00 €. Even in the small venue, it shows the culture and lifestyle of then isolated community of Spreewald. You can even try some of the old wooden shoes and try washing clothes in the old north sorbic way. You can listen to how the language of the area used to be. I was excited to see, how the women used to cover their head and hairs some 50-60 years ago in western countries, and why the generations of same culture take the same thing from other cultures as questionable after just 50/60 years.

6 euro per adult, free for kids below 16. Parking is a bit expensive at 7 euro. Nice museum and kids friendly, but small, tops 1 h. Beautiful surroundings and definitely recommend a stop at the nearby biergarten. Beautiful walks and nice with canoes too. Cash only!

Nice but small museum with a few houses showing the history of this area. Entrance is fair but parking in the area is expensive. Also, don’t come for the harbour or river trips - simply too touristy and crowded. Go elsewhere for that.

If you are in Meissen, you need to visit this museum. They have huge collection and you will be amazed with the giant porcelain pieces. Tour was also fun, you go to different rooms to learn about modeling, sculpting, painting etc. We spent good two good hours there.

Meissen and porcelain are like synonyms. So why not visit nice Meißen porcelain museum. If you want to know more, there are guided tours. More information, it all depends what you want. Museum can visit without guide. And of course is there shop, from where you can buy to yorself beautiful porcelain products. Near the factory is parking area.

The presentation is a little bit lacking, but otherwise is ok and the museum is amazing. The porcelains came from very different periods and this is why so beauty the collection. Good work for presentation and the kahle is the best.

The Meissen porcelain manufactory is a very interesting place for those who love beautiful tableware, beautiful trinkets and are interested in crafts. You can go to the store and the museum at any time when the manufactory is open. But I strongly recommend purchasing tickets with a demonstration of the production process; it is better to buy them in advance for a tour in a language suitable for you. However, there is an English audioguide, it allows you to take advantage of the German excursion. I advise to visit a local cafe, where you will have the opportunity to dine on original Meissen porcelain. As a compliment we get there especial cookies with manufacture symbol.

Every time I come here I get ammazed what a beauty lies in the porcelain. Never get tired of this, though the entrance fee is not a cheapest one (EUR 10,-/p.p.)

Absolutely wonderful. The exhibitions are clear and educative. The castle itself was mesmerising. The lift and ramps are available for people with mobility issues. The tickets can be brought separately with audioguide.

Very well taken care of castle. Audio guide or visual tablet guide available. I chose the english audio guide but i couldn’t get the third floor codes to work. Lots to look at— the church itself has a separate price for entrance so make sure to buy both at once. Lockers provided with pfant. There are trails to walk around the exterior too which I recommend. Also lots of cool things to look at in town :)

Huh somewhere between 3 and 4 tbh, but somehow more for three. So in consideration of price, and comparing price this price with vabali I would say that this spa fails the most. 6h with saunas and therme included is smth like 95 euros and ok its fine but I would for this price expect few basic things: - there is no shower gel.. - really limited and hidden places for taking water even in new buildings there is no place for drinkable water - towels not provided - because of location I would expect that's cheaper And then few things that I would expect for this money: - Ordering in a restaurant is like you need to go to the place order food and then they will bring it to you, it's kind of a half self service - would expect a lot of more sun beds it's almost impossible to find one that's free and many of them are just covered with someone's towel. - just found at the end that it's forbidden to take pictures, I don't have an issue with not taking pictures but it's really not so obvious Positive things: - really nice big pools, salty water, sound pool - Thai restaurants have really good food - new building panorama sauna and last floor terrace is awesome Overall, most of sauna's are really small so for sauna part if you want to visit there is much better sauna focus spa and it's in the center of Berlin. But for pools, I would definitely choose this one over the Vabali.

The worst possible experience to come all the way from Berlin to Bad Saarow Therme with the family to experience that this place solely dedicated to senior citizens/adults on Fridays and Saturdays. Children-free days are Friday and Saturday. What a “family-friendly” approach :( Terrible! BIG NOT thank you to the management of this place for ruining my son’s weekend! :(

I've been to better spas..... My wife and I went here last night because we received a gift certificate for our wedding. We spent a little over 6 hours in the pool and sauna. Unfortunately, we didn't like it that much. While the saunas themselves are great, our favorite was the panoramic sauna overlooking the lake, everything else is tiny and feels cramped. The large saltwater pool is nice, but not as relaxing. And again, the space between the pools and the beds is very small and hard to walk around. A big positive surprise was the restaurant. We had the edamame, gyoza, mangu curry with shrimp and bun bo nam bo. It was delicious. Probably one of the best Thai meals I've had west of Phuket. Unfortunately, the evening ended on a sour note as the parking garage is also - surprise, surprise - super cramped and I scratched the rims of our car going down the super narrow ramp. To sum up: we've been here, but we prefer the SpreewaldTherme in Burg or the VaBali Spa in Berlin.

Lovely place to go. The saunas have really nice view to the park! I wished that they had a proper restaurant with more options in the afternoon.

This spa is about 1 hour by train from Berlin then around 20 minutes by bus. Ideally you should spend at least 3 hours to really enjoy it. It offers jacuzzi, swimming pools and sauna. I loved the jacuzzi and the lavender sauna along with many cold and hot showers. Daily pass cost Euro 27 and 10 extra for sauna. Unfortunately, the food is very limited and the sitting is just wooden benches with ants crawling all over the tables. Obsulatly disgusting! There is a nice park overlooking a lake next to it , it's worth a visit.

This is one of the most relaxing and clean public thermal and spa places I've seen. It's affordable, you can reach it by train and public transport in less than an hour and half from Berlin. They have different kinds of pools inside and outside. I would like to give a plus point for the pool with underwater music and its relaxing atmosphere. I heard its textile-free for adults on Saturday. Make a phone call and reassure it before you head on to this beautiful oasis.

Super cool feelings during the winter time! There are lots of pool to chill inside and one of them in outside which is the coolest one! For 3 hours cost is 17 euro around, I paid in January 2020. They give a bracelet for entrance and locker to put your stuff safely. Only one thing was really annoying if you go there really busy time, after bathing when you’re exiting from the place you need to wait in the line to give your bracelet and for payment! It’s horrible system which I saw first time in my entirely life! Why they’re not taking money at the entrance and putting a box to want us to put bracelets... I didn’t expect from Germany sorry but disappointed.

It’s an incredible experience that I will never do again. The waterpark aspect is nice and huge, but every beach chair is taken by towels… You can change to swim wear in the dome but there are not enough closets for everyone and the ones that seem available are broken. Meaning the lock doesn’t work. The food is bad and the service to get the food is worse - it’s horrendous. They have hired just about 1 server per restaurant and they only speak German. Today our dinner restaurant at Ohana hotel where we stay, had run out of 2 food items, of 5 available, and ketchup. At least they said that they might have it tomorrow, but no guarantees. The room in Ohana is nice. And one elevator is broken so always a queue to get up to your room. You can buy a refill cup, that you can fill every 45 minutes, but there was always a queue and multiple times we experienced that drinks had run out or no ice… If you like regular quality food, then this is not for you. If you like good food, then Germany is not for you. So, all in all it’s an experience - not be repeated.

Tropical Islands - a place that will test if your team would survive on a deserted island. I came to Tropical Islands for two days with a group of 16 friends. I booked four tents (bookings were made simultaneously, from one account). Upon arrival, I discovered that two tents were in Zone 1, and two more in another one – about 5 minutes apart. It seemed absurd to split the group, but I decided it wasn't worth arguing about. Upon arriving at the tents, we discovered that one of our assigned tents was occupied by strangers, leaving my guests with nowhere to sleep. I spent approx. 1.5 hours at the reception desk discussing the situation, and the staff sent me from one employee to another, with no specific action. Each employee kept me waiting, without telling me how long or for what I was waiting for. The manager suggested moving one tent to Zone 1 and leaving the other four guests separately in Zone 2, or putting four people in a "house" in a completely different area from the rest of my guests. This would have meant we'd be housed in three different areas of the complex. We weren't given the option of moving all of us to the same area. The only comment from the staff was "we are overbooked, we can't do anything about it - you can write a complaint". When I asked ironicaly if I could give a one-star rating on Google Maps as compensation, the employee said yes. What I'm doing right now. After the argument, we were given a tent that leaked and was completely wet (pics attached). The staff told us, they don't have any protective foil and we had to deal with it by ourselves. When asked what kind of compensation we will receive for the inconvenience, wasted time, and ruined atmosphere, the employee said we could get 4 coctails vouchers. After commenting that there were definitely more of us and the whole group was now waiting and getting upset, the employee decided the problem was limited to one tent. Ultimately, we received 7 vouchers, which could only be used in the area outside the main water attractions. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. The entire complex advertises itself as an amusement park, although the attractions included in the ticket price are two swimming pools (one of which is a children's playground), four indoor water slides, one pool and one outdoor slide. During our stay, the outdoor water wasn't very warm. The outdoor slide didn't have enough water, and we stopped at every turn, having to push ourselves off the walls. The bar and food court, as well as most of the attractions, close at 10:00 PM – this isn't a place for adults looking to spend a pleasant evening, enjoy an exotic evening drink on the beach, dance, etc. If it weren't for the fact that I wasted a lot of time on Saturday arguing with the staff and having team-building activities planned for my guests for the evening, we would have left right after breakfast on the second day, as there was absolutely nothing to do for more than 4-5 hours. On the positive side, I came with fantastic people who organized themselves, made a great atmosphere and wanted to have fun together. Breakfast was also good. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it. The Polish Suntago is definitely more attractive, better organized, and has a wider variety of attractions for everyone and stuff is more pro-client.

We arrived at 6pm and waited in line for a little over 1hr to get checked in. Check in person was friendly but overwhelmed. We had to find our way around during our stay but it’s ok because my husband and my son are very good in memorizing the way. The frustration started when we wanted to check out. They have some check out machines that many people use to check out, but many of them are stuck because the machine won’t take the payment so in the end they can’t finish the self check out. After waiting and observing the situation, we decided to do check out at the counter. The person (a beautiful lady) told us how much to pay and I reached my wallet to pay to the cents with coins. This, apparently, created frustration for the beautiful lady and she had to shake her head while looking at what I was doing. VERY UNPOLITE, but also very German! Honestly, we had a great time at tropical island and in the end she had to ruin that experience. WHYYY???? I just don’t get it. But be prepared for this kind of customer service wherever you are when in Germany!

Impressive at first glance but we wouldn't come again. The initial impression is really cool, the jungle area and overall size of the dome is nice! But afterwards, you'll notice some things: - Food and service are absolutely horrible. We waited 10 minutes to be seated at a restaurant, and there was no one in front of us and the restaurant was basically empty. - Almost all arcade games and tables in the game area are just broken. Overall, our group agreed that it was a nice one time experience and maybe really cool for a single day stay with small children, but we wouldn't go there again.

The venue itself is genuinely beautiful and well-kept. The environment is immersive, clean, and provides a pleasant tropical atmosphere, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the unique setting. Dining Disappointment: The food quality is poor. It mostly consists of low-quality frozen products sold at the price of normal, fresh meals. This is a significant drawback for a day-long visit. • Locker Trouble: The changing room situation was frustrating. Lockers for personal belongings are open and seemingly available, but are unusable, which causes inconvenience right at the start of the visit. • Service Hit-or-Miss: The staff attempts to be nice and polite, but the execution of good service is inconsistent. Their efforts are visible, but the helpfulness and efficiency vary.

On balance a great experience enjoyed by us all. Would advise an overnight stay, as facilities can be used prior both check-in and check-out. Arriving around 17:00 ~ albeit in November ~ using the QR code meant little or no delay, leaving time for the pools and water-slides prior the buffet dinner. Likewise with an early start we were able to use many of the facilities ahead of the day-trippers before a buffet breakfast. An imaginative way of using a remarkable historic building, and an interesting contrast to the autumn weather beyond! Our only criticism stems from using the regional railway service to arrive (30 mins delay) and depart (120 mins delay)... maybe the trains ran on schedule back in the day?

It was the most horrible experience. We arrived at 11:30, none of the lockers were locked. We tried dozens of lockers. We, like many other people, had to leave our things in an open locker. Or we had to carry everything with us. We were with three small children, so carrying everything with us was not an option. The air and water inside were not warm enough, everyone was freezing, both the children and us. Very few hair dryers. Finally, when we were leaving, I accidentally noticed the extra 10, 15 and 25 euros. When I asked the cashier what it was for, he said that it was for the bracelet that closes the locker, 2.50 euros and he didn't know anything more. He sent us to the information desk and didn't want to solve the problem. The information desk showed that it was a charge for our numerous attempts to close the locker. Of course they took 50 euros from us, but we spent a lot of time arguing and our tired children barely survived the whole time. I can only imagine how many people didn't notice and just paid whatever they were charged. And for all this terrible service we paid 200 euros and an additional 100 euros for food (only for two adults and three small children under 5 years old).

Housed in the former espionage headquarters of the DDR, it offers a fascinating collection of photographs, artifacts, and—perhaps most compelling—original rooms once used by the secret service. You can easily spend hours exploring everything it has to offer.

This incredibly immersive museum does an excellent job of demonstrating the reach, power, and aims of the DDR’s Stasi repressive domestic intelligence agency. The exhibits highlight the stories of those who either willingly or were compelled to cooperate with the Stasi, as well as the techniques and methods the agency and its head Erich Mielke utilized to maintain control until the collapse of communism in 1990.

The Stasi Museum in Berlin is a place of reflection and learning. It presents East Germany’s history with care, emphasising both the political realities and the personal experiences of those who lived under the Stasi. The building, the offices, and the rooms provide a humbling encounter with history.

Excellent museum if you’re a history buff. The original rooms are great and really captures the mood. The €1 upsell to allow you to take photos inside is a fairly ironic annoyance considering this place’s past.

Very interesting museum. It felt strange to walk the same halls as former Stasi officers but also was very immersive, and neat how well preserved everything was- down to the chairs and paintings on the walls. I came with my university class and we had such a great tour from our tour guide. I forget his name but I am sure they are all as great as him.

Great museum, if you are interested in this kind of topic. I could join a group with a guide and it was even better, spend 2 hours in the guided walk, but you could spend much more time there.

The location can only be visited with a guide and tours are available at fixed hours. They have guides available in: German and English. The visit was beautiful, the guide was ok, with many explanations. The tour lasts about 2 hours. You are allowed to take pictures and film inside. The cost is 9 euros. It was worth the whole tour. I recommend. 👍

The whole memorial area is a very educational location, great to share and spread awareness on the atrocities of the Nazi regime. Not for the faint hearted. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, get snacks, & most importantly pick a guide that's passionate; I was lucky to have Paul from Get your Guide, who gave us the nitty gritty details of the whole camp and it's history.

Good place to remember an important part of our history, it does a good job of putting the crimes of the Stasi into context. Tours are lead by contemporaries and former inmates, very nice and informative guides. When i visited, the weather really sucked but otherwise it’s a well designed visitor center with a decent bookstore.

Impressive visit, thanks to the decor that brings you straight back to DDR days and especially thanks to the tour guide that himself had to spend years in the prison. Must visit when in Berlin.

This tour was the highlight of our time in Berlin. Our guide, Johannes, was extraordinary — deeply passionate and able to convey the history of the prison in a way that was powerful and moving. He led us through what life was like for prisoners, from the early, horrific conditions to the later era of psychological torment. It’s not an easy visit, but it’s an incredibly important and unforgettable one.

Our tour guide was such a brilliant and respectful teacher about the GDR, the Stasi, and the prison itself. I deeply wish I could remember his name, but he led the English tour and has a beard and glasses if that helps. I knew very little about the Stasi before attending a the tour and our guide allowed us to ask questions and also encouraged us to reflect on how we can protect human rights in the present day.

Good park for hanging out and small picnic. It's by the spree so one can enjoy the water view, beautiful Sky, Nature and greenery. You can also find benches, flowers and fountain. Good place for families and children to play

I observed a monument for Russian soldiers. This pathetic monument symbolizing victory of Soviet Union in WWII and all symbolic depicts Soviet and Russian propaganda about Russians as deliberators of Europe. So I had a complex feeling- from one point - it’s a quality piece of art, from the other side, it’s a disgusting sample of propaganda

If you are in Berlin, you should visit this place. The park is beautiful. It is full of paths for walkers and cyclists. You can cool off on hot days by the water in the shade of the trees. The only thing I don't like is the quote from Lenin and Stalin, which, in my opinion, spoils the overall impression a little. But overall, I recommend this place to everyone.

A really beautiful park with plenty of space to relax. The lake is perfect for a short boat trip, and the small food stalls around the area are definitely worth trying. Sometimes there’s even an ice-cream stand open, which is a nice bonus. The overall vibe is calm and enjoyable, a great place to spend a few hours.

Lovely park, very large. I highly recommend taking a boat ride and trying the local cuisine there. Occasionally they have a lovely ice cream stand open. The atmosphere is always amazing.

Fabulous park. Has a very moving memorial to the Russian soldiers who saved the East Berliners from the Nazis. Lovely cafe's and plenty to do. Has a river running through it.

Wide park with a touching but imposing memorial to the Red Army for their victory in the Second World War, it is a wonderful place to both remember history and have a moment to walk outside and relax. It lacks public lighting, so it is strongly recommended to avoid the park at night as it is pitch dark.

I had to visit this place for my 3 days in Berlin and it didn't disappoint! Iconic to Berlin. Some are a trip and some I didn't get, but if you run into those you can walk right past to a new piece. Information on the artists is listed in front of the artwork. Super cool. I went solo I don't think I would want to go as a group by going solo you can spend time enjoying the parts you like and take it at your own pace.

East Side Gallery – An iconic open-air landmark An absolutely iconic spot. It’s the longest preserved section of the Berlin Wall, stretching for about 1.5 km along the riverbank. Essentially, it’s an open-air museum showcasing creative, impactful, and often thought-provoking wall art from various artists. It’s definitely worth a visit, as it gives you a strong sense of what the divided city once looked and felt like. The artworks are unique, symbolic, and visually striking. It's also a great place for those classic “Berlin” hype photos. Many murals even include QR codes that provide background information about each piece. A small warning: the area is very busy and there are quite a few pickpockets around. Just keep an eye on your belongings so that this otherwise great experience isn’t spoiled. Overall, a must-see in Berlin.

As the history of Berlin is very dictated by the wall that separated it, very good to see it and easy to imagine how it would feel for the people living in the same city but separated from this giand wall. Also i liked that in the park nearby was a lot a people who were chilling, playing and having fun 🌞

It was amazing to see the Berlin Wall up close, covered in murals that are not just beautiful but also carry powerful messages. For me it had historic moments to things that still feel relevant today. The walk isn’t too long, and every few steps there’s another piece of art that makes you stop and think. Definitely worth visiting.

I really enjoyed looking across at all the art and little tags locals and others had made on the wall, took plenty of photos. One thing that did irritate me slightly was the amount of attention the picture of the two men kissing got was ridiculous, also it was so crowded at this specific picture that it was almost impossible to take a photo of it and even walk past it, people by this specific picture were also very rude pushing others out of the way. It really upsets me because so many of the other pictures barely had any attention when I would argue there were so much nicer than the one stated above

Have been there many times. Most recently, today! 😊 As everyone says, this is a bad choice if you’re creeped out by nudity. Even on textile days, you’re gonna have to face that. Otherwise, I have to say the place changes character quite a lot depending on when you go. On this Monday evening, it was very chill. The warm pool with the swim-up bar is to die for. Worth the trek just for that! It’s also a solid 1/2 train ride from Berlin, then a 15 minute walk. Very doable, but just so you know!

Pretty nice overall though a bit too crowded for my taste. Probably best to avoid Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends. Wide range of saunas but nothing too special. The food is hit or miss. The pasta dishes are terrible but the pizza was tasty and not too expensive.

Awesome in winter. First suggestions: - Needs more infusion sessions. (At least 2 saunas at the same time. Especially in winter.) Pros: - Huge variety and huge pools are really awesome. - Really big facility. - Safe environment.

I am a big fan of FKK culture and often swim naked at Lakes. I love the architecture, the water temperatures, the heavenly salt water pool outside at this place. However a recent visit was very unpleasant. Old and extremely cantankerous people patrol the pool and verbally assault anyone wearing a swim suit. My partner and son were uncomfortable being naked in the swimming pool and were therefore repeatedly harassed. The staff are mostly absent and horrible angry elderly grouches are allowed to assert ownership of this otherwise lovely place

The staff was super polite, the pools had joyful temperatures and sufficient sun loungers available. The restaurant offers a very good selection of light meals and a rich salad bar. We're looking forward to visiting the Wohlfühlterme again soon.

We visited this place today. We travelled quite a long way to get here. It's a really great place to relax, no reason to regret it. We did not encounter any situations where the issue of nudity was not respected by other visitors. On Monday, we expected less traffic, but we were quite surprised. There were really a lot of people already at 10 a.m. I hope that rules here will be maintained and won't change. We'll definitely be back.

I love this place and visit it every time I am back Home in Berlin for a visit. My Buddies and I just enjoy it very much. In the Summer you can relax outside and work on your Tan. The Food is very good and there are a lot of options. The Facilities are very clean and well Maintained. I get a Massage every time and it rounds out the experience for me. It's certainly a great way relax and forget what is going on. Especially in the current situation. I am glad that they where able to weather the Storm and survive. I love all the different Saunas and Steam Rooms. There is something to do for everybody. I love relaxing in the Pool by the Bar and enjoy a nice Beer with my friends. It's such a cool feature. I am not sure why people complain about this place being FKK/ You should perhaps do some research before going. There are days where you can go and be dressed. I guess being German it's not a big deal for me at. I am going to be back in Berlin in August for a few month and will for sure visit it several times while there.
