Been coming here for several years now and started to bring my grandchildren but the soft play is so dirty and visibly tell it's not wiped down and regularly cleaned. Nothing has changed since we started to confess here years ago. Needs some love put Into the place.

Wonderful place to take children. Lots of animals to see and you can also feed some of the animals. We got to meet the ferrets. You can also attend lamb and chicken feeding sessions. There is a play areas for kids, a glass house and a maze. Many things to keep the children preoccupied. I enjoyed my visit there.

Great day out with plenty to see and do for children aged from 12 and under and adults to see and relax with plenty of outside seating too. Disabled toilets, Baby change but paths would be a hard enough push with a normal wheelchair ♿.

My nephew loves it there, I think it could do with more interaction with the animals though. Also a wider range of food would be good in the cafe plus the shop is quite limited in its range.

Well avery pleasant couple of hours wandering around the farm - plenty of animals to look at (who are clearly wellcared for) and a reptile house too. All well decorated for Autumn and Halloween. Pleasant walk around the grounds, walled garden and greenhouse housing 'tropical' plants. An amazing waterly on the pond. There is a playground and inside play area for children. Nice cafe and farm shop. Only downside was the maze (not terribly impressed with that unfortunately). Nevertheless well worth a visit

It's a lovely bit of country park with gravel trails and paths. Dogs allowed off leads everywhere. The walled garden with friendly volunteers also has some good quality plants and veg for sale at reasonable prices. The cafe was surrounded by people with chainsaws so not accessible. The gravel paths are on the borderline of wheelchair accessible. Very bumpy for small wheeled chairs, had to reverse onto and off the grass in places. The car park is expensive but there's no other entry fee.

My boys come to the farm every week during term time for the farm rangers workshop and absolutely love it. The workshops leaders, Abi and Leanne, are brilliant. They always go the extra mile and really engage with the children. You can tell it’s more than just a job to them and the workshops wouldn’t be the same without them. My boys come out buzzing with excitement every week with all the fun they have been up to.

A diverse range of shows on offer here, which I would think will appeal to a wide range of people. Tidy modern interiors and a good view of the stage (even from the relatively cheap seats) give a more intimate feel to the performances than you might otherwise expect. Plentiful parking in the adjacent Northgate Car Park.

This theatre is nothing short of fantastic. I’m a regular user of their Prologue tickets for 16-30yr olds, so I have experienced this theatre many times. The seating in the stalls and circle gives an amazing view no matter where you sit. The foyer area is a lovely place to be, and the shows they put on here never fail to be of the highest quality. This is my favourite theatre I’ve been to, and I don’t think it’s even possible to leave disappointed with your experience!

Modern theatre in Chichester. Nice to go through. Easy access and for disabled people too. Could do with more toilets. Car park nearby but requires payment. Show at the time was "Top hat".

Fabulous show at The Minerva Theatre last night. The Choir. Awesome Theatre show, amazing actors, fabulous voices and great storyline. Staff at the Theatre are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The show was stopped partway through, due to a medical episode by an audience member. The staff and Choir actors handled everything professionally and with care and consideration. We wish the lady a speedy recovery. Overall a fabulous Theatre and I'll be back again as always. ☆☆☆☆☆

Lovely Theatre. The production of Top Hat could have been better. The choreography was not really sophisticated enough for this style of musical. Some of the costumes did not seem to fit the performers well. The set and music were very good. Singing was adequate. I have to say that the audience loved it.

Plenty of parking in nearby carpark, lovely staff, clean facilities and a lovely theatre. We drove all the way from West London to see Lord of the Flies after we had such a good experience watching The Sound of Music. Easily one of my favourite theatres. There's not really any bad seats in the place. Incredible views from all over

A wonderful little museum, which highlights all the exploits of Tangmere and the surrounding RAF centres which took part during WW2 and a celebration of all the record braking RAF planes back in the day. The real stars of the show are all the volunteer staff that run the place, the enthusiasm they have is quite amazing and make your adventure here a top notch experience

Went here for the first time today, was expecting to just spend an hour or two there but we met a lovely member of staff called Kevin who was super knowledgeable and gave us a very informative afternoon and let us have a go on the simulator. Had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return with my son. Cafe served lovely food too. Highly recommend for anyone with an interest in aviation/war. Thank you to all the amazing staff we had a great afternoon.

Amazing aviation museum—a must-visit! Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. It looks small, but it’s full of fascinating history and real stories. Spent a good few hours enjoying the displays and exhibitions at Tangmere. Lots to see and interact with for all ages, I highly recommend a visit. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, happy to interact with you and tell stories about their connections to aviation. Visited the Cockpit cafe as well, it had a fantastic selection of homemade classic British cakes! Would visit again

Have been to this museum four times in the last sixteen months. Each visit for me just gets better and better, so much information to read about on the wall panels, about the base history, and the RAF, and some of the wonderful heroes that have served. Maybe lot of people don't realise, this museum is home two very important aircraft, a Hawker Hunter and a Gloster Meteor that were air speed record holders in 1953 and 1946 respectively. There are some very knowledgeable and approachable guides to aid your visit, and a wonderful cafe that does a great coffee, and some fantastic snacks/ light meals. Can't recommend this museum highly enough. Will definitely be back for a couple of visits next year. Many thanks Steve

I loved every second of my time here, all the staff are so knowledgeable and also so passionate. Those who have served and flown planes and helicopters just like those that are on display. So many stories can be told here in addition to what you can read about. Lots of exhibits to see and even simulators and planes you can sit in! I don’t think I stopped smiling at any point during this visit. I never expected so much from this museum but I’ve been telling everyone at work about it. Thank you all so much! I’m not sure the name of the man who showed us so much but he actually made the trip so much better!

Mostly undercover so okay in wet. Well laid out. Helpful volunteers. Plenty of simulators to 'fly' with extra donation. Could get busy. . Many aircraft exhibits and useful information adjacent to equipment memorabilia stands.

A must see. The castle is huge and very interesting to visit. One can see the different periods of time of its occupation. The interiors exhibit very well reconstructed rooms. The garden is very rich and diverse. The stumpery was our favorite part, in particular thanks to the autumn colours. Full tour of the castle and gardens took us about 3 hours.

Stunning castle for history, art, and design lovers! Walking through the castle and keep felt like entering one of my many childhood drawings. The weather was lovely and the gardens made me si happy—there are greenhouses to visit, a rose garden, ponds, and so many wonderful interiors for a great day trip from London. Thank you!

Such an incredible experience! Visiting from the states, so I don't get a lot of castle tours, but this one was simply exceptional. From the gardens, to the castle tour, to the guides, and the cafe, we left with an amazing experience and tons of stunning shots! Highly recommend planning for a sunny day to enjoy the beautiful gardens. Truly an unforgettable experience! The setups were stunning to see and the staff was more than friendly and informative. Plus, the food was great! We shared a sausage roll and pasty, but ate it too quickly to snap a photo! If you're in the area, or wanting to make a day trip to the south, can't suggest Arundel further! It took us three to four hours to clear the grounds and castle altogether- it's worth the ticket!

Lovely place. Bit pricey, but the castle and grounds are huge, so you can spend most of the day there. It's really well set up, with a specific route that takes you through the whole castle and learn about its history. The gardens are equally stunning. Great visit. Would recommend.

Google's 50 picture limit means I can't show you the superior quality of this place. My favourite castle in the country, somewhere I've always wanted to visit, and by a long way the best one I've ever been to. I loved every second of being in here, I'd do it all again. The Duke of Norfolk is a very lucky man, to own this place must be a very special experience.

11th century castle has impressive grounds and you can explore the castle. Very informative volunteers who are happy to showcase the part of the castle they are located in. Beautiful gardens. The gift shop is lovely. One of the first houses to be fitted with electrical lights. Closes soon in early November

The most beautiful castle I've ever been too. Have visited before pre baby and did the whole castle, but attended again recently to visit the gardens only as had the baby in the pram which is not accessible in the castle for prams. It was absolutely stunning and better than I remembered. Looked extra lovely in the sunshine. Gardens were beautiful. The garden cafe was great, friendly lady there. Toilets also clean and spacious. We also met the lovely little puppy Titus who was wondering the grounds with it's owner.

This reserve is a gem. It is compact, but diverse. It was also remarkably uncrowded for a late August Saturday. We saw quite a range of wild birds. I would recommend the boat safari. Even though we did not see a lot of birds, it was a true "Nature Watch mindfulness moment". The staff were very welcoming and helpful (even when we were among the last in the shop after official closing time). The cafe makes a good cup of coffee and there we a great selection of sweet treats (including vegan cakes).

I brought my elderly Mum and we had a wonderful time wondering around, watching the gorgeous wetland birds. Mum has a walking frame, was able to walk on the even tracks and was glad to be able to sit down whenever she needed to. We enjoyed pumpkin spice lattes and carrot cake in the café too!

Beautiful place, birds are awesome, Pelicans were very cool! Calm and quiet, lots of information from info boards and staff, lots of fun routes. We went will small children who listen well, there are areas that are very close to water, may be worth taking reins or pushchair for very little ones.

We went here over October half term and loved it. We stayed from 10 am until 3pm doing all the different activities etc. they had lots of Halloween related activities like wand making and potion making. Then we did a boat ride through the wetlands. The kids rand wild and loved being outside and seeing all the birds. We brought our own picnic, which I recommend to do.

Arundel Wetland Centre offers an excellent place to relax and observe various birds and wildlife. The centre is wheelchair accessible with excellent parking. There is a very good cafe offering food, cakes and beverages and a good gift shop. Thoroughly worth a visit.

A great family experience. We were delighted to see a kingfisher from the cafe window! Lots of unusual birds too. Cafe offered simple food but very tasty.

WWT Arundel hosted us for a team development day. It was a beautiful view from our room and they provided us with a delicious lunch. If you’re looking for something different as a meeting venue…

Used our voucher from the paper so free entry! Helpful map so had a good walk around all the gardens. Walked down and along The Thames- beautiful. Several places for a coffee, cake or lunch. Watch out for Red Kites- they target picnic areas! Second hand book shop too! Lovely day.

A fantastic day out at Cliveden! We had a wonderful family day out at National Trust's Cliveden. It was a perfect escape from London. We loved strolling through the grounds, which provided much-needed shade on a hot day. The views were stunning, and the kids were delighted with their ice creams. A quick tip for visitors: Be sure to look for the insider car park to avoid a long walk to the main house. We also wished we had known about the boat rides in advance, so be sure to check that out if you visit! Highly recommend for a family day trip. The estate is stunning, we especially appreciated the beautiful, shady walking paths that made our strolls incredibly relaxing. We found a great spot for our packed lunch, which was a nice way to save a bit of money and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The views across the grounds were truly magnificent. The kids absolutely loved their ice creams, and I enjoyed a well-deserved coffee break.

What a wonderful state in England! One of the most beautiful places I've been to of its kind. It's not far away from London, but it's easily connected to motorways. During the spring and summer, it is a great park to walk through gardens and forest, so bring your sunblock, hat and comfortable shoes. I cannot imagine it during the winter but maybe that's also a wonderful experience. If you can, book your tickets in advance and arrive early in the morning, because it is a popular spot and the park lot is limited. You can bring your trolleys (if you need). It has many accessible ways. It's dog friendly, but it's your responsibility to keep the place clean. Bring as well your banquet with food and drinks to picnic, if you cannot, don't worry! You can buy them here. Please! Please! Please! 1. Take your rubbish with you. Shame on those who leave their mess. 2. Respect the queue line entering with your car. Yes, everybody wants to enjoy the day ASAP, but good manners are really appreciated living in a community.

Well-worth the annual national trust membership price if you are a local resident. Beautiful gardens to explore and spacious picnic areas for small to large groups. There is also a coffee shop near the car park and a bigger cafe/restaurant close to the main house. There’s a good size children’s play area and there are also frequent children oriented events during the year which the our young child loves. Don’t forget to walk down to the river and have a boat trip in the summer months!

Our local National Trust, we love it here! So many different areas to visit, the woodland, the water garden, long garden, the Thames river, the house, the list goes on! Reliable food options and decent parking if you get there earlier on or later in the day... Can get busy busy weekends or school hols.

Without doubt one of the best kept places I’ve visited in England. The area is vast and full of interesting walks, greenery, water garden, fountains, rose garden and lot more to explore. The public facilities are more than adequate and the staff are extremely helpful.

Beautiful estate visited in August. Lots of ground with both a woodland area and the main house. Plenty of space for everyone. Beautiful views from top and activities to do on the river (boating). Lovely for a day out.

We had a lovely time at the farm with our baby last Thursday. We really enjoyed feeding the animals, and the outdoor play areas were fantastic! The baby soft play could definitely use more balls in the ball pit, and the café closed quite early, with no food options available later on. Still, it’s a great spot for little ones and we’d happily go back!

We spent the day at Odds Farm for Halloween half term and it was a blast. From pumpkin picking (every paying child gets a FREE pumpkin!) to watching Wicked the Musical performances — three times might I add, because it was definitely my son’s highlight of the day! We also loved the brilliant bubble show, tractor & trailer ride, Marmalade’s Mini Rovers, and of course feeding all the adorable animals. If you’re looking for some Halloween fun this half term, I highly recommend Odds Farm - there’s so much to do and it’s perfect for little ones! We’ll definitely be back soon! (@landoandlyra) x

We are from Sweden visiting and really enjoyed this place with the kids. It had a lots to do and see. And a kids playground inside to where you can eat food for a ok price. It tasted okay to. The nois level was a big high but it is kids,;). The coolest was that we went to get the pumpkin in a wheel barrel and then cut it out as you wanted to and get it home.

Wonderful place run by genuine, passionate people. Kids always have tons of fun. Playground and soft plays are huge and in great condition, animal shows are entertaining and informative.

We was excited to visit after reading all the great reviews. Unfortunately I dont believe we got value for money. It cost nearly £80 for 4 of us, We purchased some animal food but as all enclosures are double fenced my son struggled to feed the animals and we ended up throwing it for him. There isn't many animals onsite to see, we was told there was over 250 animals onsite! The cafe was busy and very messy, lots of rubbish on tables/floor and table tops dirty. Toilets were also dirty. There is a free tractor ride but we only rode around the highland cow, about 5 times in circles! My son enjoyed the indoor slides but the carpet stairs were dirty too. We Unfortunately decided to leave at that point.

The adults only night was so cute!! Free face paint, see the animals, silent disco and fire pits 🎃😽 so good for £20!! - and no screaming kids!!

It was amazing experience for family, but the customer service at the coffee shop inside in front of the softplay need to improve. Slow, incompetent and arrogant, they got the order wrong and several times despite there being few people they made us wait 20 minutes. They majority of them were young guys without experience and they don't care about the outcome, they work there sure just temporary to pay some university bill .

You can book a time slot ticket for free online before hand. This ensures you dont have to queue if it gets too busy. Truly a must visit Museum in London. There are so many different exhibitions that you can easily spend 3 hours here. Of course the main attraction is the Blue whale skeleton, called hope. It weighs 4.5tonnes and measures 25.2m long. This is a real blue whale skeleton and not a model! Can you imagine! There is a dinosaur exhibition and for your info, most of the bones on display are actual dinosaur bones! If you see its dated, then its real dinosaur bones. Other than that there are other paid exhibitions available throughout the museum.

The museum is well-maintained and full of interesting collections. Natural History Museum in London and was truly impressed. The building itself is stunning with its grand architecture and detailed interior. The dinosaur and gemstone exhibits were fascinating and well-organized. I especially enjoyed the interactive sections that make learning fun for both kids and adults. Spending few hours here may not enough. I recommend booking paid tickets for elderly visitors.

Always love going to museums where ever I go to take in the local perspective. It is free entry with donation recommended, which is easy once you see what this place has to offer. This would have been one of the larger sites I have visited in my travels. It has a large variety of collections spanning several floors. I really enjoyed most of the galleries I saw, with their interactive displays that complement the static representations. We literally spent all afternoon their until close and still didn't get a chance to see the whole building. Missing out on the Darwin, and some of the green sector. From what we did see the rest of the place would be just as amazing. Since it's free entry it can definitely be a 2 day walk about. The place is large and requires a bit of sauntering. There are lots of benches and presentations that you can sit while you watch. Which is nice for those who have mobility challenges. Overall, a great visit but if you really like to hit every inch, it's a whole day visit so keep that in mind.

Well kept clean and spacious. Wheel chair acess though out and entering with no steps . Its extremely hot inside even in November. Could do with air conditioning. Lots of history with lots of animals. Great for kids all ages and adults. Toilets and disabled toilets on site with a cafe which is rather expensive so I would recommend brining yours own lunch in if you are a family. 2 coffees and a cookie was approximately £15 . Over all a great experience and very educational. If you home educate your children its worth a day trip in to London to visit the museum. Hot peanuts with honey out side are delicious 😋 pre book tickets for free on line to avoid quing. Pre booked Tickets walk straight in and que jump !

Today, I took a group of elderly visitors with dementia to the London History Museum. Our group varied in mobility — some were able to walk independently, one used a walker, and two were in wheelchairs. We had a brilliant time exploring the different rooms, and the earthquake experience was truly amazing and impactful for everyone. The museum was quite busy with several school groups, which did raise some concerns. One of my members was bumped into twice by a school group, causing them to become unsteady on their feet. While the school group was apologetic, the situation was a little disappointing. The only drawbacks were that the toilets are quite spread out across the museum, and the lifts were sometimes difficult to use due to limited capacity and unclear floor labels. Despite this, we managed to navigate successfully. It was nice to see seating areas scattered around the rooms, providing opportunities for rest. Booking disability parking was straightforward and very helpful, with friendly staff assisting us both on arrival and when we left. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I’d love to return with my family next time for a more flexible visit

For a free entry this museum was absolutely incredible. A very wide variety of exhibits from a multitude of scientific fields. Definitely take your time and explore the entire building. Enjoyed looking at all the different animal exhibits. The dinosaur section of the museum was very fascinating to go through 🦖. I also enjoyed the geological sections. It really does seem that the museum is promoting education at no price! 👨‍🔬 A must visit if you're in the area.

I recently visited the V&A with a friend to see the Cartier Exhibition. It was great, even though it was a bit crowded, which meant no hanging about. However, there were opportunities to return to an exhibit if you wished. I visited on a lovely autumn afternoon and the colourful trees outside added to my enjoyment. There's also a beautiful cafe for a wide selection of food and drinks. It's one of my favourite museums to visit as they put on great exhibitions on a wide variety of subjects. I recommend it highly as a wonderful place to visit anytime.

The Victoria and Albert Museum is truly an amazing place to visit. The collection is huge, beautifully curated, and full of history, art, fashion, and design from all around the world. Every room has something interesting to see, whether you’re into sculptures, jewellery, textiles, or modern installations. The building itself is stunning, and you can easily spend hours exploring without getting bored. It’s a perfect spot for anyone who loves culture and creativity. Highly recommended for a day out in London!

If you’re anywhere near South Kensington, the Victoria & Albert Museum is one of those places you absolutely must pop into. As someone who’s lived in England for years, I can honestly say the V&A never gets old. What surprised me the most on my recent visit was just how incredible the ceramics collection is. If you’re even slightly into pottery, porcelain, glazes, or anything to do with craft and kiln work, you’ll be blown away. There are shelves and walls filled—and I mean filled—with pieces from all over the world, from tiny delicate bowls to massive vases taller than a child. You could easily spend half a day in the ceramics section alone. And it’s not just ceramics. The museum has an impressive range of sculptures as well—scrubbs, marble carvings, classical statues, and pieces that make you wonder how on earth someone carved something so smooth out of stone. You walk through a hall and suddenly you’re surrounded by history in 360 degrees. The jewellery gallery is another highlight. It’s not just “oh that’s pretty”—it’s genuinely fascinating. Crowns, brooches, rings, intricate metalwork… some pieces are hundreds of years old, shining under the lights like they were made yesterday. One thing I really love about the V&A is how hands-on it feels. They’ve got sections where you can take a closer look at materials, textures, and even a few areas where touching certain samples is allowed. And if you love photography or design, the V&A has a bit of everything—fashion, textiles, prints, historical photos. It’s like a treasure chest that never ends. Honestly, if you’re truly into art, craftsmanship, or history, one day is nowhere near enough. You think you’ll breeze through it, but the more you look, the more there is. It’s the kind of place where you follow one hallway, and suddenly you’ve discovered an entirely new world. So yes—highly recommended. If you’re visiting London, the V&A should be right near the top of your list. Free entry, world-class collections, and genuinely inspiring. Come for an hour and you’ll wish you stayed the whole day.

My visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. As I entered the galleries connected to Punjab and Sikh history, I felt a deep emotional connection. The artifacts linked to Maharaja Ranjit Singh—his weapons, jewelry, and artistic treasures—were beautifully preserved and displayed with great respect. Seeing them filled me with immense pride for my heritage. The staff at the museum were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Each section was well-explained and thoughtfully organised. For anyone interested in Punjab, Sikh history, or Indian heritage, the V&A Museum is truly a treasure. I highly recommend this museum to every traveller visiting London. It’s not just a museum—it’s a place where you feel connected to your roots.

Such an Amazing Museum. Amazing exhibitions and gallery and displays to view your mind. Make sure to have 4 hours spare to take in all the displays. World class. Take well organised. Great food in the cafe at a reasonable price. Make sure to dine in the Victorian cafe.

A Truly Remarkable Day! I simply can't recommend the membership strongly enough! My visit to the Marie Antoinette exhibition today was truly remarkable. Not only was the collection breathtaking, but the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the day. My daughter and I wore period-style Marie Antoinette costumes, and it was lovely to feel welcomed and celebrated. Every single person we encountered was charming and pleasant. What a fantastic museum experience!

Free to enter for their main exhibits, except for special exhibitions. But there's plenty to see and explore in the different courts, organised by theme, geographical area and time period. Wheelchair accessible Look out for the giant statue of David in the Cast Courts, as well as the rather large pillar of Trajan. Also, the collection of sculptures donated by Auguste Rodin. If you like Jewellery, head up to 2F.

At first I was worried I wouldn’t be able to follow the system or get myself lost. Which I did, end up going the wrong way. But it’s actually so easy to follow, it’s good to make a few errors as then you will be conscious of ensuring you’re on the right tube. London Underground is amazing and it is really easy to get around and see places. I would walk around central London. Use the underground when going further afield. The trains are very regular, you will find they can get very busy, packed. Don’t feel you need to squeeze in, just wait for the next train as it will add to your experience and enjoy it better. As you would anywhere just be vigilant of your surroundings. I felt very safe, as a solo traveler I was very surprised.

As a visitor, you can’t ask for a better system to get about to major museums, etc. You get to ride with both the working class and executives alike. Iconic London ! Takes a little getting used to, if you need to travel in the City, it’s the way to go. As a visitor, we purchased a Visitor Oyster Card online, it’s a fantastic deal. Recommended.

This is a good way to get around London. The new trains and updated stations are good. It is easy to get a ticket and to get around. However, the ventilation is poor, horrible, hot, and sweaty. It makes for an unbearable and uncomfortable ride. However, some of the trains and train stations have proper ventilation and air but most do not. I only take one train with no transfers, which is all that I can bear, and walk just to be outside where I can breath easy. I caution you to only ride when necessary and recommend you walk outside if able.

These shops are all closed for good. I could rattle on about the good old days, (people actually pay to hear about it) and a book would be better; it would take a book, pdf, file, whatever to explain how much it has changed. Point? Many but the main one is: Thanks to Bid Rigging the same people keep getting rich fulfilling contracts that do nothing but cosmetic change. I'd rather see the old retailers (driven out by sky high rent, business taxes, business rates that the the big corporate retailers. Btw/ if you come to London be prepared to lug your suitcase up and down many flights of stairs. Had a good time with family, spent around 2hrs at the venue.kudos to the entire team for excellent crowd control. Around 80% of the wax statue look stunning and fantastic, rest felt like a dummy one. The special attraction was "Spirit of London" ride, which is a themed taxi ride through the city's history, and not a conventional train ride. The ride uses iconic black cabs to take visitors on a 5-minute journey through London's history and cultural events which also includes wax figures, immersive exhibits, and a 4D cinema.

Had a great time! There’s quite a collection to explore, with some truly fascinating stories, science section and even a few spooky horror rooms. The organisation and presentation were excellent, and the cable ride through centuries of history was absolutely epic! I didn’t see many staff around, but I didn’t really need any help. Overall, I had an amazing time and would highly recommend it!

I had an amazing experience at the Madame Tuassads London. I have already been to other places but this one was different. In addition to various wax statues there was a ride which was very beautiful. Also there was 3D show which was star of the whole lot. Would highly recommend even if you have visited other wax museums. Its clean and wait time is not much.

Madame Tussauds was such a fun experience! The wax figures look unbelievably real ,it’s like walking through a celebrity world. The Marvel and Royal Family sections were my favourites. It does get busy, but totally worth it for the photos and the atmosphere.

I was a bit hesitant about going here, if it's really worth the money... And it is! We enjoyed this interactive experience very much! It's fun and I very much appreciated it is not just the wax figures (which are impressive by themselves), but I was excited about the Marvel 3D experience, the little "taxi" drive through the history of London or the scary horror cellar :) What was dissapointing was the price of the photos they take for you (25 pounds?!). But otherwise perfect way to spend a memorable afternoon (at least 3 hours recommended!), totally recommended. PS: pleasant surprise at the end of our visit was the London Eye tickets for 10£ offer.

Absolutely love London. And Big Ben is a must see / visit. It has been beautifully restored and looks grand as it should. Right next to the houses of Parliament and across from Westminster Abbey just down the road from Buckingham Palace. And then there is number 10. Definitely make time to go to this iconic land Mark.

Visiting The National Gallery was truly a magical experience. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the atmosphere and every room tells a different story through its paintings. The layout makes it easy to explore, and the colors, details, and emotions in each artwork are breathtaking. It’s not just a museum but it’s a journey through art and history that leaves you inspired and full of wonder.

It was a wonderful experience. The museum has a good collection of Monet and Van Gogh paintings, which I really enjoyed. For just an afternoon, it’s possible to see everything without getting too tired, though you could easily spend a whole day if you want to study the works in detail. We visited on November 17, and there was also a Christmas market outside the museum, which added a very festive atmosphere.

A very spacious series of galleries housing some of the best known images in the international art world. With a restaurant and toilets and plenty of friendly guides you can easily spend a day here, or just pop in and revisit your favourites. It may look daunting from the outside but the new entrance makes the whole place accessible for anyone. Children of any age will find something to look at and many school trips visit and no they don't disturb the 'grown ups'! A teashop, restaurant, bookshop and well stocked shop make this a day, or two to remember.

I can say that I love this museum. Seeing such a collection of paintings for free is just amazing nowadays. There are beautiful paintings in every room. I could spend a day to visit it. Just do not forged taking a map at the entrance as this is a pretty large museum. French, Spanish, Italian, English, Deutsche… painters from middle age to impressionists. A pretty large collection of Impressionists paintings that can rival with that of Musée d’Orsay in France. Only the Louvre in France is more impressive (but far from being free) among all painting museums that I visited all other the world (with a special notice for Grenoble and Poitier’s painting museum that are great place to visit too).

The National Gallery, a one place to see history through paintings. As usual this gallery is free for entery and quite big so plan ahead. You can book free online ticket or walkin. Tube connectivity is there. Plan to enjoy and take photos from outside squar also. There is a paid washroom available outside. You get chance to see a lot of historical paintings and know about the artist. Due to limited time I was not able to complete it. Wear comfortable shoes and carry water if possible.

I visited the National Gallery today and absolutely loved it. It’s an absolute must visit place when in London, and you can spend hours wandering from room to room, never running out of things to look at. One of the highlights for me was seeing some of Monet’s pieces in person, a moment I’ve been looking forward to for so long. Standing in front of his work felt surreal, and it was worth the entire trip on its own. I highly recommend paying the galley a visit, especially because it’s free entry!

If you’re in London, you must visit this place. I stopped by during an 8 hour layover, and even though I couldn’t take my time the way I wanted to, it was absolutely worth it. I’ve been wanting to take the kids on The London Eye for a while but I’m glad I waited until they were older otherwise I think they would have got bored after a while! We came during the summer holidays so the weather was nice and the views were beautiful. I pre booked for the best ticket prices and to take advantage of the £20 per adult and £18 per child special offers. We enjoyed it and the kids were able to spot famous buildings which was fun 😁 The only let down was that there were alot of us in our cabin as we were grouped up with a large family with limited seating so after a while of standing i had to sit on the poles due to issues with my knee and the kids sat on the floor. It was a busy day and I think the staff filled the cubicle to capacity This is something to bear in mind for those that may have ailments or disabilities where they need to sit down. Other than that it is worth the visit, we didn’t wait long in the queue and they also take pictures and give you a card with a QR code which can be scanned so you can purchase the pictures after your ride which is nice 😊

The London Eye is an interesting experience that I was glad that I went on, but I am not sure if I would recommend. It offers great views of the city but I understand that The Shard and Sky Garden also can do this. Heck, the coffee shop at Tate Modern also has great views and it is free to go up. We had booked a time and were waiting for our slot, when we arrived 15 minutes early to join an extremely long queue. I was very surprised how quickly the line went and we actually boarded the ride at our allocated time. I suspect if we arrived early (within reason), we could have got on sooner rather than waiting around. Getting on and off was easy, even though the ride didn't stop. The entire trip lasted about 30 minutes and was very relaxing. Obviously the views were great, but I `think that I would have spent less time if I had gone up the Shard or Sky Garden, as the ride seemed to trudge along. The are definitely opportunities to get discounted tickets: book online or in the visitor centre or with the London Pass. Since the line went quick, I wouldn't pay extra for a fast path.

Went on a Thursday in half term time, it was incredibly busy, loads of children! It was still a nice experience for my kids, they loved it. You need a couple of days to visit the whole museum, especially if you are looking to study anything in particular. Limited choices on thw food in the food court area and expect London prices but there is also a high end restaurant at the top. Own food and drinks are permitted only in the designated area. We will definitely come again to see and study other areas.

The site is very well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing to keep in mind is that you may need to wait in a queue for entry, and on a sunny day this can feel a bit frustrating. Still, it’s not just a landmark to admire from outside, but also an educational and memorable experience to explore from within. Definitely worth visiting.

Walking near Tower Bridge is honestly one of the nicest things to do in London, especially if you’re trying to escape the busy streets without leaving the city. The view is unreal – you’ve got the bridge itself, which looks straight out of a postcard, the river Thames calmly flowing, and plenty of spots to just sit and chill. There’s something peaceful about hearing the water and watching the boats go by, even when there are tourists around. At sunset, the whole area lights up in warm colours and it feels kinda magical. It’s also surprisingly clean and safe, even in the evening. Loads of nice little cafes and street food stalls around if you fancy a bite, and the walk towards the south bank or down to St Katharine Docks is worth it too. You get a mix of old-school charm and modern city vibes. Would definitely recommend it for a date, a solo unwind walk, or just to take some beautiful photos. 10/10 – calming, scenic, and very London.

The Tower Bridge is a great stop if you're in the nearby area, and provides about 30min to 1 hour diversion. Combined with the free audio tour, great views complete with partial glass floor in one section, historic awe of the building process, and gift shop at the end - I would highly recommend if you're in the area. There are lifts for the tower, but I suggest/recommend you take the stairs getting some insight, facts and touch of history on the way up and down. There are benches to rest, toilets but no Air Con for most of it, however fans throughout provide plenty of relief - 84 degrees and it never felt sweltering inside. Learn how the bridge was designed, constructed and changes over the years - in particular the engine room videos and presentation on divers were really great. And whenever you're done walk along the Thames River path near the wharf and grab a bite to eat.

Great day out. Went on a weekend and not too busy outside of peak season. Crown Jewels clearly the highlight, and didn’t disappoint - displays nicely spaced out, not too much content to overload younger ones and up to date, but there’s also so much more to see. Poppy display was superb, exotic animals, Yeoman tour and White Tower also worth the time, with the latter having interactive area for children. Nice day out and good to take a picnic (though not lots of spaces to sit and eat).

Enjoyed all the history The Ravens were alot bigger than I imagined. The crown Jewels were amazing and loads of gold pieces of various objects the punch bowl was massive. All the beefeaters were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely a wonderful time. As a tourist from the US, I cannot believe the amount of history in one place. You could spend an entire vacation at this site alone. Seeing highlights from the coronation amd seeing them in real life was fantastic. The displays in the White Tower were worth it alone

Jordan was great. Parking easy. Open gendered changing rooms with showers. Also had a mirror and hairdryer which was nice. Lockers were easy to use. Had a group of 9 for the whole raft, unfortunately or fortunately, depending on how you see it, one person at the helm doesn’t paddle. This position can rotate between within your group, which might be a good thing, so you can take a break because this was a tiring activity for sure. Great fun though!

This sports venue is truly delightful. It’s such a pleasure to watch the determination of those battling the powerful water and waves, whether in team boats or individual kayaks. I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere here, and I try to visit once or twice a week. The café adds to the charm—coffee on cold days and beer on warm ones. Altogether, it’s an outstanding place with an incredible vibe

Fantastic place to practice your open water and white water rafting skills there is an equipment hire area on site so you dont need to bring your own gear, ample parking the largest car park is just 100 yards from the entrance. Staff are super friendly, there is a cafe on site too with inside or outside (on balcony) seating. The road leading to the place is only a normal 30 mph road and it gets busy quickly so try and give yourself plenty of time to get there.

I went white water rafting with 7 mates for a birthday. An excellent experience, we loved it. Ask for Sean as your instructor he made it a 5/5 experience. We did 6 runs on the Olympic course and Sean upped the ante each time. Would highly recommend it!

Lee Valley White Water Centre delivered a brilliant day out. The staff were welcoming and made the whole experience feel easy, even for first-timers. The course has the perfect mix of fun and challenge, and everything is run smoothly from start to finish. I’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for something memorable.

I’ve just been on the Royal Gunpowder Mills walking tour. What a great experience. The history at Waltham Abbey is fascinating, and was brought to life by the knowledgeable volunteers/guides. We were a small group of 8, so plenty of opportunities to ask as many questions as we liked. The tour allowed access to many of the buildings and structures that you only see from afar on the tractor tour. For anyone with an interest in military history, explosives, or industrial architecture l’d highly recommend this tour. Many thanks to the guides for giving us their time.

Fantastic day at the Gunpowder Mills. Greeted before entry by welcoming volunteers. The site is huge with attractions and information. We made a rocket and launched it which was fun. The tractor was great with a very informative guide. The volunteer who gave us the talk in the rocket vault was exceptionally good. We went on the miniature train and the bigger train where we saw more of the site. There is so much to see and do here. Our visit was four hours and worth every penny of the entrance fee. Looking forward to booking a walking tour when they are organised.

It's only open to visitors a couple of times a month on a Sunday, and on our visit from 11am to 4pm. We got there at 11am as it opened, there is a big sign as you come off the main road, but the site is located at the end of the drive once you have driven past all the housing. Car park is a fair size, and the entrance is located to the right once you have got into the car park. Once you have gone in, it's probably worth getting yourself booked on to the tractor ride. It leaves at specific times. We went straight towards the miniature railway which took us up the site to the gunpowder mill railway. Again, there are some set timings for this, but when we got there we pretty much had the train to ourselves. The railway takes passengers for a ride further up the site, stops and then comes back again. We managed to see the deer as well as bits of the site. The guys running the railway did a fab job at showing us all about the railway, and even let the young 'uns sit in the main cab. The tractor ride was incredibly informative and really gave a good idea of how big the place truly is (massive!) and how much history is here (loads!) Again you get to see the deer, and lots of the old buildings - lots of areas are covered in greenery where nature has taken over. The kids were also given a sheet of things to look out for on the journey. At lunch we popped back to the car to get our picnic and sat at the benches next to the play area (obstacle course / zip line). There is an area where you can get a free tea / coffee - as well as toilets if required. Post lunch, we went to create some rockets and had a little competition to see who's rocket could go the furthest - kids enjoyed this! (Well, the adults did too!) After the rockets, we went to look around the exhibition and armoury. Lots to read here, and kids did do a few little interactive games (mixing the substances at the factory etc.) but they weren't quite so keen to stand and read! The armoury was literally a room full of different guns, rifles etc. When we came out of the exhibition, we just had time to have another trip on the railway. The volunteers were great and radio'd up to ensure we would catch it on time! Once our second trip on the railway was finished it was closing time... we had been there all day! We thought the dedication and hard work by the volunteers was great - we even thought about volunteering ourselves, but it's a bit of a journey away! (Although if they ever do a family volunteering day where the kids can get involved, we would certainly consider it!!)

If you want to learn about the history of gunpowder and explosives, The Royal Gunpowder Mills provides a fascinating day out. In many respects, this is the place where it all started. Our tractor guide was quite knowledgeable and provided interesting insight. The Mills is run completely by volunteers. As the MOD has been involved in siphoning off material, it's too bad the MOD doesn't promote it as the volunteers care dearly and they can use some help.

I visited with my two children and another family, on an open day during the summer holidays. There were varied activities for the kids (rocket making/launching, tie dying, slime making and nature crafts) as well as the train that runs further up along the grounds. It was a really nice day out without the extensive crowds that you often find with children’s activities in the holidays! When booking the tickets I noticed that numbers were capped quite low so I can’t imagine it would ever be uncomfortably busy. Having a mixture of fun activities for children alongside the educational side of the small museum and exhibitions was a good balance. They particularly enjoyed role playing in the village shop with ration books! I would say the open day activities etc are probably most suited for children under 10 (which all of ours were). We also saw some beautiful deer and the children enjoyed the playground as well. Everything was staffed by volunteers (I think) giving up their time to run it. Drinks and snacks in the cafe were very well priced - i bought ice lollies for 5 children for barely more than the price you’d pay for one at an ice cream van!! We brought a packed lunch with us as suggested on the website - I don’t think there is much in the way of food other than snacks available in the cafe. All in all a nice day out, something a bit different and easy to drive to and park.

A great place to learn a little history. With a bonus tractor and train ride.

I took the walking tour today. Absolutely brilliant experience! We started in the cafe with a tea/coffee before heading out in a small group with the volunteers. They really knew so much about the site and were so passionate about its history that it was a real pleasure to listen to. Look out for the wildlife too- we saw lots of deer around!

The road to the zoo is a bit narrow and winding, and driving with the steering wheel on the opposite side made it even more unusual. This is a truly small family-oriented zoo with an interesting selection of animals. Everything was clean and well maintained, and we enjoyed the visit. I was especially excited to see capybaras and meerkats. Personally, it was also fascinating to observe the visitors — many families with two or more children. The food was decent, but because of the strong wind and too many wasps outside, the experience was mixed. Overall, it’s a great place to spend a day with family.

Visited for my daughter’s birthday and it was great all round. The entire place is very well designed and in good condition. We tried food at a few of the outlets and all were good quality tasting food - not amazing but not the typical greasy nonsense you get. It’s good that you can walk around each area multiple times and in different directions so you really feel like you get the most out of your ticket. Price wise was good, about average and like I said there is plenty to do when inside. All the animals we saw looked happy, no concerns there.

A brilliant zoo, I would say one of the best we have visited. It was busy but we didn't feel it, its nicely spread out so you never feel crowded, it was also very clean and tidy. The staff were fantastic, even when doing something they were happy to answer questions on animals, they were all happy, friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. The animals all seemed happy and healthy with a lovely variety. As with all zoos it would be nice to see them with more space. The food was of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Nice to have the mix of animals, the dino trail and parks too. It is 3.5hours away from us but worth every minute in the car. Would 100% recommend

Great zoo, loved the red panda experience, keeper was very friendly and informative in answering any questions I had. Loved getting to see the two red pandas being introduced to each other. Got good views of the animals, some of the viewing windows were quite wet with condensation which blocked views but not much to be done about that. Lots of kids so was quite noisy but think I came in the school holidays. Only negative was one of the jaguars was pacing around a lot in its enclosure, hopefully it was just waiting for food or something like that and not stressed. Got Uber easily to/from the train station. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

A really good day out. I went with my sister and my two teenagers and we all thoroughly enjoyed our day. The theming, informative signs, viewing areas/platforms and eateries were very good. Of course the wonderful animals were the highlight and I can recommend attending the bird show! At the end of the day we even had a train ride around the dinosaur area for £2 each, which ended the day nicely.

A family favourite. My son was two when we went and he loved the dinosaurs section even though I was worried he was too young, there are some bits that are slightly gruesomely but you can quickly go past them. It’s good fun and you can then go to the zoo and look at the animals. It’s very well organised and clean. Limited option for food and as with any of these venues, it’s overpriced for the quality you get.

Hertfordshire Zoo is a fantastic family-friendly destination with a great variety of animals and interactive zones. The enclosures are well maintained , highlights include the lions, camels, and alpacas, all easy to view up close. The “World of Animals” and “Tumble Jungle” soft play area add extra fun for kids, with clearly scheduled play sessions. The zoo is clean, well signposted, and offers a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. A perfect day out for families with young children!

First time doing an escape room and it was such a fun experience - me and my friends loved it so much that we’re already planning our next visit. The place is so easy to find, with parking right outside. Our host Ashley was wonderful, so friendly and accommodating and explained everything really well. 5 of us did the Hidden Relics room - challenging but super fun and such an awesome concept. We escaped with just over 15 minutes to spare but it didn’t feel like the time went too quickly. It was so well organised and the set which consisted of travelling through 3 separate rooms and the props were amazing and well put together. I’ll definitely be back to try out some of the other rooms!!

What a thrilling experience again here, this time we escaped Twister and the Clinic! George is the most welcoming escape room assistant and always makes time for us! Twister has been the best so far, thumbs up to the Relic and to Bomb squad as well! Nickita, Eddie and Lily cannot wait for Medusa!

Came here with my partner for the Halloween escape room, George and Emma are amazing hosts and was so funny and friendly, they really made our day. The escape room was incredible, i’ve never been to one like it, the theme and decorations were beautiful. You could tell that a lot of time and effort was put into the rooms to ensure happy customers:) 100% recommend going here!

I've done many escape rooms before this and nothing holds a candle to the quality and sheer variety of this room. The host was excellent, he was perfect and we all had a great time. Team KiMCHi room Medusa, second place no clues!

Wow!! What a great adventure we had, wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was!! 4 of us went, it wasn’t easy but made it all the way with 3 seconds to go!! If you like a mystery challenge the escape rooms is the one!!

We’ve been to this theatre many times, they always have a good array of shows and this particular one, Bowie Experience, was no disappointment. Atmosphere was great which I think is what attending your local theatre should be all about and of course supporting them.

Went to see Shock Horror yesterday. Hats off to the main protagonist. He had a lot to do and he did it marvellously. Well done to all involved in the production. I love this little theatre. Value for money, entertaining and right on your doorstep!

Lovely community theatre. I went to see Buffy Revamped which was brilliant for any Buffy fan and hugely entwetaining. I also saw Sherlock here which was really enjoyable and I am going again in a few weeks to see a Horror show. I am not exactly local but it is easy enough to get to on the District Line and there is a car park next door. Nice bar and cafe with snacks and drinks and friendly staff.

A great local theatre, with exceptional seating, offering a wide range of good quality productions and theatrical events. Well worth a visit.

Recently took part in a multicultural workshop here. Great atmosphere, polite and helpful staff...lovely little coffee shop in foyer space.

Great show and no bad views in this theatre. Would've been 5⭐️ if only we could've got an interval drink! Small bar and very long queue. We had to go thirsty until show was over...bar doesn't appear fit for purpose. But a good night was had otherwise.

Went to see the Cinderella production with partners' grandchildren. Love this theatre as plenty of leg room and no matter where you sit in theatre you get a good view. The show was excellent for both adults and children. They gave children booster seats. Children were aged 10 and 8, respectively, and they loved the show, as did us adults. Recommend Cinderella performance 👌

Very big nice park with lakes and aqua park/ water activities. Can do very long walks here with or without a dog. Many people cycle here too. There is fishing in the big water activities lake of that takes your fancy. Plenty of geese around. There's a cafe and toilets at the car park by the big lake Also a big play ground / water park for the kids as well as a smaller play area right alongside the big lake. Really lovely to come for a walk or sit down. Nice view over the hill too.

Great space for both children and adults! It has everything here including Play area, fishing, splash park, picnic benches, wall climbing, sailing, lakes, ponds, walks and a fully stocked cafe serving hot and cold food as well as ice cream and coffees. Toilets available too as well as plenty of grassland for the kids to run around. Definitely a place to visit!

Ample car parking. Clear instructions near the entrance way. Clean and maintained.

The activity was great for the kids, the staff were very friendly and the system they have works well. There is hot food and coffee available at the cafe however the only bad point i have to make is about the toilets inside the cafe, there is a hygien issue, it looks and smells as if they havent been cleaned properly in months. The smell is unbearable and the walls are filthy, for that reason i refused to buy the family food there.

I recently attended the Taste of the Caribbean festival and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with a true celebration of Caribbean culture throughout the day. The entertainment was fantastic, with a lively live band that kept the crowd dancing and engaged. The food was absolutely amazing – full of authentic flavours and a great variety to choose from. It was also a very family-friendly event, with something for everyone to enjoy. I felt completely safe the entire time, and the overall vibe was warm, joyful, and energetic. I’d definitely recommend Taste of the Caribbean to anyone looking for a fun, cultural, and well-organised day out. Can’t wait for the next one!

Fairlands Valley Lake is one of Stevenage’s most scenic outdoor spots, perfect for anyone who enjoys peaceful walks and natural beauty. The trails around the lake offer a relaxing route surrounded by greenery, open skies, and the calming sound of water. Visitors can watch ducks and geese gliding across the lake, take in the fresh air, and enjoy moments of quiet reflection. It’s especially stunning at sunrise and sunset, when the light dances across the water, creating breathtaking views that make every visit feel special.

Lovely open park with 2 big lakes. Perfect for walking, jogging, picnic, or just lying on the grass and relaxing. Very family friendly as well. There is a cafe with toilet. Parking is great with 4 separate parking areas and can accommodate quite a lot of cars. Went there for the first time on a sunny day and it did not disappoint.

Fantastic day out with toddlers. If you can on a weekday in term time you can go on all the rides multiple times as practically no queues! The set up is also very walkable with animals and rides and playgrounds interspersed ergonomically. They have a great variety of animals who seem happy and healthy. It's a little pricey, but it feels worth it to give money to a nice farm. I wish their food options were healthier - especially the snacks (having some fruit on offer for the kids would be helpful!)

We visited as a family with our three girls and had such a fantastic day! There was so much to do — from seeing the animals to enjoying the rides and fun activities. Everything was really well organised, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The girls especially loved the pumpkin patch and all the little details that made the day extra special. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon! 🎃🐮

Incredible place Got there at 10:30am and received an informative welcome from reception I was happily surprised that it was not very busy . I was apprehensive about how many rides my daughter who is nearly two could go on and yet out of everything available she only missed out on 5 attractions. I love how detailed the park was and that there was just so many things to keep kids entertained for hours . Cafe was really good with large portions of food that was not salty but full of flavour. Staff loved interacting with the kids ,were really polite ,enthusiastic and took pride in their jobs. Overall Very very good value for the money and 100% worth it Will be definitely visiting again hopefully with a party of family members.

This is a fantastic place to bring your child! My little one is under 2 years old, so the free admission is a big plus. Everything is well organized, and there's the convenience of being able to eat inside. As expected from places like this, the food is more on the quick side, but it's surprisingly tasty. I've visited twice already and will definitely be coming back. One of the standout attractions is the circus – it’s a wonderful source of entertainment for both kids and adults alike. I recommend this place !

A complete package of thrill, fun and exploration for the little explorers. The farm themed park has a lot to offer starting with family friendly yet thrill rides that little ones can’t simply resist. My little one enjoyed doing the happy horses, train ride and crazy barnyard ride - of of them couple of times. It has got a decent softplay area too right at the entrance, along side the cafe and icecream bars. The animated shows run throughout the day at the show barns and the adventure playgrounds are quite massive and located at the centre of the park. There’s one little explorers playground as well with lots or animal sheds nearby offering seating areas. My little daughter couldn’t only do the doggy roller coaster as the ride closed at 4pm only strictly, but for next time sure. We had an unmissable and unforgettable adventure time her in this park in Brentwood, for sure.

Returned for our annual.years Halloween visit. Bit disappointed to find the Halloween walk through bit was closed off however realised upon checking that we were a day early. Decided to make the most of it and enjoy the rides. Took some really lovely Halloween photos of my girls lots of perfect back drops and props available throughout the park Staff were lovely especially the man on the train ride. Staff on both coffee stations were friendly and my daughter's both enjoyed a delicious custom made hot chocolates in after eight and unicorn. Animals looked happy and with plenty of space to roam around. It was lovely to see the pig foraging for plants and eating on the grass. Two lovely carousels, a rollercoaster and several other rides plus the staff make this place a really fun day out for all the family We will return

Lovely day out, we visited Old McDonald Farm with the kids to experience the Halloween Festival, we have been coming here for years but not on Halloween . Brilliant day, so nice to visit a park with just an entry fee and when you enter all rides are included, shows and activities, no hidden extras. Kids had a brilliant day, even the adults too, the kids also received a free pumpkin each. Some of the children in our family were sick, the staff at Old MacDonald Farm were brilliant - even offered to move to a different day so the kids don’t miss out (for a small fee) . Well done Old MacDonald Farm, we will definitely be coming back again !!!!

I took the Stansted Express from London Liverpool Street to Stansted Airport, and it was a smooth and comfortable journey! The train is very clean, modern, and fast, with only two short stops before reaching the airport. It's the best option if you want a direct and hassle-free trip. The ride is about 45–50 minutes, and everything runs on time. Important tip: Don’t throw away your ticket! You’ll need to scan the same QR code again when exiting at Stansted Airport. A few people forgot and had trouble getting through the gates. Overall, a very professional and efficient service – I highly recommend it for anyone flying from Stansted!

Great parking experience near Stansted Airport! Booking in advance saved me a lot, and the process was completely hassle-free. The free pick-up and drop-off service to the airport was quick and convenient — highly recommended!

Parked on longstay parking 86£ for four nights. Easy to find and the a bus will take you directly to the airport departure same as when coming back. Advise: take a photo of where you parked your car and the zone cause the parking is so big it’s easy to miss where you parked your car.

Honestly cannot complain. Took the Stansted Express four times in the past two months and had no issues whatsoever. Clean, announcements are clearly understandable, seats comfortable. Multiple working restrooms on board. There are always enough seats for everyone as these trains run every 15 mins. You won’t get bothered by staff aslong as you have a valid ticket – obviously. Signs everywhere tell you to buy the ticket in advance through the website. Book early and pay just £20 for both ways, not bad at all!

I do not recommend this train operator due to their lack of reliability and transparency in applying their own terms and conditions. The company advertises a Delay Repay scheme that guarantees compensation for delays of 15 minutes or more. However, in practice, they do not honour this promise, even in clear and well-documented cases. On 4 September 2025, there was a major signal failure/points failure which resulted in my train being delayed by over one hour. This delay was publicly displayed on station boards and confirmed by station staff. Despite this, the operator claims that “no delay of 15 minutes or more was found.” This response is unacceptable and seriously undermines trust in their compensation process. It is extremely disappointing that the company sets its own rules and then fails to follow them. Their Delay Repay scheme appears to be a promise made for marketing purposes only, without being upheld in practice. Based on my experience, I believe passengers are not treated fairly and are left without the compensation they are entitled to. I strongly advise other travellers to thoroughly document their journeys, as the operator’s system may not reflect the actual delay. Not recommended.

Ease of use and location is a plus for a train into London

I have never seen an airport like this, even in the third world. They have a lack of seats, people has to sit in the floor. They only had 2 toilets before to pass the security and they closed one of them at night . Disgusting and inhuman place .

We attended the Battle of Britain airshow. Its a great venue. Plenty to see, a highlight being the indoor museum that was free to look around. The airshow was great with dozens and dozens of planes in the air. Its not the biggest Airfield so you are pretty close to the action which is great.

What an amazing collection of very special American planes. This was for me personally a very special moment to see an admire several planes in real live. The Bell helicopter, B52 (BUFF, SR71 blackbird with a habu overall. Enjoy the interviews which were given by the pilots. You can easily click on the menu which is presented at the specific plane. And most important take your time to enjoy this technical wonder. You can also stay a bit longer and enjoy from a nice lunch in this new hangar.

All of Duxford is a fantastic day out. Its worth becoming a member to have free access to the imperial War museum, Churchill War rooms and hms Belfast too. The flying shows are brilliant. We've been to 2 now in the last 3 weeks.

This building is a great display of iconic aerial vehicles such as the B-52 (which takes up the most space in the building), the B-17, B-24, B-29, SR-71, U2, F-4, F-111, F-15, P-47 and P-51. They are packed closely, but in such a way that none takes the appeal away from others. Definitely a wander about kind of place, taking all things in.

This is one of our favourite places, fantastic museum, to spend whole day, and the airshows are the best in the UK, and I've been in a lot of places. Definitely must have for fans of aircraft, especially from the war time. Highly recommend

Very good visit with plenty to see, The American hanger was superb, unfortunately the Brittish hanger was closed. There is good facilities for food and also a playground for children. We particularly enjoyed going on 2 of the aircraft.

Went on a Wednesday, no queues and not many folk about. A very broad slice of history, planes, a piece of the World Trade Centre, part of the Berlin Wall. And aircraft and many historic pieces. Well worth a visit.

A wonderful historic property - so much to see. The staff were amazing, so knowledgeable and they really enjoyed talking about the history of the property - if you love history then this is an absolute must. Fantastic food at the cafe too. To fully enjoy the house and estate you would need all day. An absolute gem ❤️

Great day out for the family. The house is well maintained and there are nice collections to see. The gardens are well kept and huge. There is just one more little hidden treasure around each corner just when you thought you saw it all. Well worthy the visit. There is also a cafe and a shop. We enjoyed the performance from English heritage on “ferries”. Loved it!

Lovely historic house looked after by English Heritage. Lots of rooms to see inside and very friendly helpful volunteers. They are great to talk to and share so much other interesting information about the house. Outside the gardens were beautiful and lovely large lawn beside lake. The old vegetable garden was also lovely as were the stables. Worth going to stables first of all which are near to the car park and tells you the story of the house before you visit it. Large tearooms to visit with good selection of snacks, meals and treats. Definitely worth a visit.

Although the facilities outside the mansion are generally well-preserved, the mansion itself is very bright and beautiful, making you imagine that people still lived there. The owner of the mansion has very special tastes, and you can see that the decoration inside is different from other British mansions. The most impressive thing is the tall and magnificent wooden carving wall in the reception hall. In addition, you will see some sea monsters and ocean-related icons in the reception room on the second floor. The tour guide said that this is because the owner of the mansion was a big shot in the navy. The mansion facilities are very beautiful and well-maintained. It takes about an hour to walk through.

I really enjoyed my visit!!! The house is stunning inside, with lots of interesting rooms and stories, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful and perfect for a walk – peaceful, well-kept, and full of charm. There’s also plenty of space for kids to run around, which makes it a nice family day out. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere relaxing but also full of history.

Our visit was perfect. The house was a real highlight. It felt like being in one of Jane Austin books. I loved the vast space and well kept grounds. It was time well spent and my children enjoyed it too. It's great place for family visit. Highly recommend.

Great stately home and grounds. The gardens behind the house are really wonderful and seating is available for you to relax and fully enjoy the view. The stables are a must for any horse lovers and the staff there are all very knowledgeable and friendly. There are various gardens. Fruit and vegetable gardens and many rooms from the past. There are two restaurant / cafes both with toilets. Plenty of parking and level access except for the first floor of the house. Sadly no lift is available.

Fantastic day, need more than one day to see everything. We mainly done hanger 1, the US area and the outside planes. These were knowledgeable and informative. We became members so we can come back a few more times. 100% recommended. All the staff we spoke to were lovely.

Great museum. It's huge. Spread over several hangars and buildings, and includes a Concorde, B52, SR71, U2 and many others. When we visited there were lots of light aircraft and classic planes like spitfires and bi-planes flying as well. There are several restaurants, a free shuttle bus, large gift shop and lots of volunteers (in red) more than happy to help. Car parking is free.

The Duxford Air Museum is an absolutely incredible place to visit! The collection is vast and beautifully displayed. The exhibitions are informative and engaging, with plenty of interactive displays and stories that bring the history of flight to life. Watching aircraft take off and land right in front of you is an unforgettable experience. There are also great facilities — plenty of parking, a nice café with good food and coffee, and lots of space for families to explore.

As a big aviation enthusiast, I was really looking forward to exploring the site and seeing some of the iconic aircraft up close. There was a short wait to buy tickets, and while the entry price did seem quite steep, I was happy enough to pay it for the chance to see the planes I’d come for. Unfortunately, the gentleman at the ticket desk (older, with white hair and a beard) was rather unfriendly and didn’t offer the warmest of welcomes — not the best start to the day. My first stop was the Concorde, which I’ve always wanted to experience. There were two staff members standing by the entrance, but they seemed too caught up in their own conversation to greet visitors or answer questions. Once onboard, there was no one available to provide information or engage with visitors, which was disappointing — especially for such a famous aircraft. After leaving Concorde, I made a beeline for the commercial airliners on display outside — the part of the visit I was most excited for. Unfortunately, when I arrived, all of them were closed for the day except the aircraft in British Airways livery. While that one was open and staffed, and the gentleman onboard was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions (thank you for that!), I couldn’t help feeling disappointed that the others were shut. Throughout my visit, I also noticed that staff presence around the site felt quite sparse. In several areas, particularly around the commercial airliners, I had a lot of questions but couldn’t find anyone to ask. I was later told that access to the aircraft varies by day, which feels like a bit of a “luck of the draw” situation — fine if communicated clearly, but frustrating when you’ve paid full price and key exhibits aren’t open. Overall, while I did enjoy parts of the visit and found the open aircraft fascinating, the lack of staff engagement, limited access to exhibits, and inconsistent communication left me feeling underwhelmed. With such an incredible collection, I had hoped for a more welcoming and interactive experience.

Incredible place! Honestly the best aviation museum I have ever been to and one of the best museums I have been to overall. Lots to see, lots to interact with, actually getting into some of the planes, many elevated platforms and floors to see these huge aircraft from different angles. The airfield is active with all sorts taking off and landing throughout the day. Accessibility for wheelchair users is great too.

Very extensive collection contained at an active airfield. Vintage planes taking off and landing all day was a huge perk! To see these aircraft still flying is indeed a pleasure! Everything was in good order and labeled. Well worth spending the day here; so very much to see and experience!

Visited IWM Duxford during the school summer holidays and explored at our own pace. The vast hangars packed with iconic aircraft—from Spitfires to Concordes—bring aviation history to life. Interactive exhibits, flight simulators, and outdoor displays kept everyone engaged. Super accessible with wide paths and family facilities. A brilliant day out for all ages!

I had such a wonderful time visiting Linton Zoo for the first time! It’s a lovely little gem with a nice variety of animals to see. I really enjoyed being able to stroll around at my own pace, as it felt much more relaxed compared to other zoos I’ve been to. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better! Considering what the zoo offers, I definitely think the entrance fee is worth it. I can’t wait to go back again soon!

A small zoo, but enjoyable nevertheless. Very reasonable price to get in, although it is odd that a child over 13 is classed as an adult! The cafe was nice and made a good cuppa. I liked that there was seating all around the park, which is a real bonus for the more senior visitor. It wasn't too busy, which was great as three of us are autistic, and there were lots of open spaces we could easily move to if we did find anything overwhelming. A really nice afternoon.

Very small zoo, all animals look very tired like the zoo itself, it’s a shame as they do have few lovely animals there. Just need some work to modernise and bring it back to life. Kids were disappointed as not much to do and see there. 1pm zoo keepers took a snail and a tortoise out were the highlight. We miss some feeding times as there is no timetable for the day. Only say it on the sign by the animal cage. No picnic allowed inside, there is a small playground outside with some picnic tables. With the price they charge, £40 one adult and two kids, I’d expect much more activities, the whole place just lacks of energy and it’s just dull.

Lovely little zoo to visit. Clean and tidy toilet area. No food inside the zoo, however there is a picnic area outside in the car park with a nice sized play park. Had a bacon and cheese burger which was delicious and the kids had the kids lunch box which they really enjoyed. Animals look very well cared for. Staff were very friendly and helpful. At 1pm they came out with a tortoise and an African land snail for everyone to see and touch near the cafe area. Kids loved the dinosaurs and the animal statues! The zoo does look very dated and needs some upkeep. Such as a lick of paint here and there and some new fences etc. A fair amount of the enclosures are very overgrown to the point you can’t see in at all. There used to be a nice play park inside the zoo, but is no longer there, which is disappointing. There were some beautiful flowers at the back of the zoo. Which really brighten the zoo up. Lovely day out for the family for a few hours. Would visit again and recommend.

This zoo is relatively small but charming, with a lot of greenery that adds to its appeal. It’s a peaceful place to visit, especially on a day with good weather but some of the enclosures feel too small for the animals, which is a bit concerning. The food options, unfortunately, are really poor and disappointing. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a tranquil outing, though improvements in facilities would enhance the experience.

Great little zoo. It is smaller than your average zoo but there are lions, tigers, snow leopards, zebras and a wide variety of birds. The entrance fee was ok but there was limited difference between an adult and a 13 and under as a child. There is no family ticket but there was advice that children under 16 had to be attended at all times which is contradictory to the entrance fee. Overall a very positive experience.

Wonderful zoo, with some amazing staff, interesting animals and enclosures. Lots of maintenance being done and improvements. Great stuff!
