Very unique, beautiful place 😍, just because of that, it always overcrowded, easy you can find, bar 🍸, restaurant for snacks 😀, and also good 👍 to have a shower 🚿 €1 /2 min. , toilet 🚻 free off charge. Many places for park your car if you are disabled, right at the main entrance. Main car park 160 meters away, but with barriers 2 meters high restriction. We have a wonderful time, hope U 2.

​A visit to the Cascate del Mulino is a beautiful experience. There's a mythological tale that claims the thermal waters were created to make humans more meek and less aggressive. While the water wasn't as warm as I had expected, the stunning scenery makes up for it. The best part is that entry to the pools is free. There's also a cafe right next to the pools where you can use the restroom.

What a great experience in the Cascate del Mulino hot springs. We being there in the middle of September, the water was very pleasant (warm bath temperature), no ants or other insects in the water as I read in other reviews, I guess it is seasonal. The water had a distinct smell, perhaps hydrogen sulfide that commonly found in natural hot springs. The springs located just a 10 minutes walk from a public parking, with hourly pay 3 euros, there was a plenty of space around 1pm. Admission to hot springs is free

Very unique experience; to watch the view of Tuscany valley while resting in hot water as if you are in a open air Spa :) but natural. Also thanks to staff for kind service at the facility. Note: shower, hair dryer, towels and cupboards for your cloths are with fee, rest is free (no entrance fee) Do not forget to bring your slippers, if you do, anyhow you will manage somehow and enjoy like we did 😄

This place was an absolute highligh of our vacation. I love the less traditional activities. What makes this place interesting is that you can find the cascades in the middle of a nature, it's completely free, you only pay for parking and water has according to google 37.5°C. You only pay for parking from 8am to 8pm. The water smells a little bit like sulphur, but nothing horrible. First, I was afraid what is inside of water but there are small round rocks and it's not slippery at all. It's opened nonstop and you get the best experience if you come early at the morning or if you stay after sunset when outside is colder so you can enjoy the warm water (we tried both). There is no place for changing but there is a restaurant nearby with toilettes. We saw many people coming in their bathrobes! That was cool. The best is probably to stay in an accomodation nearby and change at your room.

Amazing free hot springs, open 24 hours. I recommend coming early in the morning or at night to avoid crowds, but even when it’s busy the place is still great. Parking is about 300 meters away and paid from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Fantastic spot. Great to lounge in the pools above the falls. Fantastic to slide down the falls and wade down the canyon but bring a rope to help you climb back out as there is NOT a permanent one there for everyone to use. You will be stuck down there if you don’t have a rope

Historic church. Great 5 mile hike loop. Take coins for parking (2 euros per hour). With Casisano winery along the way. Definitely stop in if they are available for a tasting.

Lovely quiet area and nice olive trees but the whole visit was a disappointment because of the lady in the shop. She was very unpolite and as soon as I stepped inside the small shop she told me the shop will close in 2 minutes. It was 17.54. 🙄 I thought the whole place was open until 18.30. The abbey had a mass so we didn’t enter into it. The smell that came from that small shop was so good so it was a pity that I couldn’t buy anything.

Definitely the most beautiful abbey in Italy! We've come here for at least 20 years. In the beginning there were almost no tourists. Now the way down is paved, paid parking and there even is a shop at the top of the hill..... But still it's the most beautiful abbey of Italy :-) Try to stay for a service when you're here.

The Abbey, a jewel of medieval mysticism. It is one of the most beautiful monuments in an ancient Roman style, which also has elements of the French and Lombardy styles. Legend has it that the abbey was founded by Charles the Great in 781. The king and his army stopped here on the way back from Rome as the soldiers were afflicted by an unknown pestilence. An angel appeared to Charlemagne, telling him to make his men drink an infusion with a local herb. The cure worked and the army was saved so the king decided to build the church in gratitude.

A historic spot in a Beautiful city. A great spot to sit & people watch, have a bite to eat or an apertivi! There is a Pharmacy, shopping, restaurants, gelato and much more right in the square. A beautiful city to walk around and explore!

Piazza del Campo is one of the most stunning and unique squares in all of Italy truly the heart and soul of Siena. A visit to Siena isn't complete without seeing Piazza del Campo. This enormous piazza sits at the center of the town and is lined with fantastic bars and restaurants. It's common to see people relaxing in the square, enjoying a moment to read or reflect. We grabbed some happy hour drinks and spent our time watching the mix of tourists and locals pass through.

What a place, this must be one of the best original urban squares ever. A photo taken a 100 years ago would probably look very much the same. Siena is such a beautiful town, if you are in Tuscany go and see for yourself. Love it.

We had a great day in Siena; you need a few hours walking through the alleys to see how beautiful the city is. Weekdays are definitely quieter than weekends. If you plan to visit Siena, try to do it between Monday and Thursday.

A very visually and spatially stunning place to visit. The color of the buildings around the piazza and the floor really set the scene of the place. It was rich and strong. A bit crowded with a lot of people sitting around and some people would sell you stuffs. Not the safest place you can sit back and relax. It was fairly safe and lovely place to visit.

A splendid cathedral, richly decorated inside. We hadn't bought tickets online, but lined up outside to buy tickets. The view of the cathedral from the square outside is fantastic. But what set it apart for us was the inside. The floors are covered in inlaid marble (I believe some of it is usually covered, but it wasn't when we were there), and there are many other fantastic pieces of art. Don't miss the small library to the side, also fantastic. Afterwards we spent some time in the gift shop - it is pretty good.

A beautiful cathedral with beautiful artwork. It was reasonably old and had a bit of history to it as well. Tickets to see the cathedral was roughly 5 euros, but even the most expensive ticket to the museum, cathedral, and baptistry was the price of admission of a church in Florence, and was definitely reasonably priced. The biggest thing is that if you come from the town square, you will see the baptistry first, which is NOT where the ticket office or the cathedral is, and you need to climb either the stairs or get to the cathedral's square. Overall, was definitely worth seeing and was worth the day trip I took from Florence to see it.

A fabulous experience! Make sure though, that if you’re booking tickets in advance you are doing it for the one on SIENA, not FIRENZE. They look similar, but are in fact different. We got to go into the cathedral, museum (with the panoramic view), crypt, and baptistery. All very beautiful.

You look at this cathedral and the details of its construction and you wonder, how did they do this 800 years ago? (the cathedral was built in 1215). You definitely have to visit this cathedral. The entrance fee is €8 per person, but it's well worth it. The interior of this cathedral is something unimaginable.

Really just to say that I agree with the great majority of reviewers: Siena Cathedral is absolutely worth visiting. It looks great from the outside, perched on its hill, but the interior is even more impressive, with black and white stripes throughout. The ticket queue was quite long, so if you know ahead of time when you will be going it would make sense to book ahead.

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at San Galgano Abbey, and it was absolutely magical. The atmosphere of the roofless abbey, with its dramatic architecture and open sky, creates an unforgettable setting for a wedding ceremony. Open air 13th Century Abbey just outside of Siena. If this is something you’re into and enjoy – very much worth a visit. Looks spectacular from the outside and magical from the inside. Certainly unique. If you are not into architecture, historical buildings or church history, this is probably not for you. There is little explanation of the place once you’re there, so you need to ideally already be a fan or interested. Also visit the Chapel on the hill whilst you're in the area

There was an art exhibit when we were there which were really great to take photos. We had leave early because of a funeral.

Speechless spiritual place, knowing this place from Andrei Tarkovsky’s ‘Nostalgia’, as a metaphor of the protagonist’s memory and religious experience. No photos or documentaries can compare to being here personally, even if it might be an arduous trip for visitors without a car…

Historic place. Impressive to see and understand. When in the area take time visit and enjoy lunch at the nearby bar.

We didn't really see much of the area. We stayed overnight at a hotel inside the walls and ate at Caffetteria Gelateria dell'Olmo. The restaurant was not good. Our hotel, Hotel Leon Bianco, was very nice and had a wonderful breakfast. We had a heck of a time navigating the streets.

San Gimignano is the reason we came back to Tuscany after visiting it last yearfor a few hours, while driving through Tuscany. Beautiful walled medieval town, that was originally restored in 1800s, and probably the biggest attraction in Tuscany. The towers were a sign of wealth, and the taller the tower, the wealthier the family that owned them. They were originally built as protection against marauding neighboring townspeople, street scuffs, etc. these towers were connected to the residences of the owners. You can climb the tallest tower in town, for 7 Euros.

San Gimignano is a true gem of Tuscany and a must-visit destination for every traveler. This picturesque town is famous for its well-preserved medieval towers that create an iconic skyline. San Gimignano is a small medieval hills town in Tuscany, encircled by 13th-century walls and full of beauty and life. Medieval festivals are happening from time to time and, if you're lucky to be here during such an event, you'll feel the history and understand Italian culture and life better. Like a reduced-scale Sienna, San Gimignano is one of my favorites luttle old towns in Italy.

One of my favorite places to visit! Walking the streets felt like going back in time! The architecture is unbelievable. The shops are quaint and full of authentic treats. The cobblestone streets lead to amazing sites and the views are spectacular. Stop for an ice cream, a meal or a souvenir. Make it a point to stop on your visit to Italy, it’s worth the trip.

A fantastic amusement park for both younger and older children, suitable for all age groups including adults. Everyone will have lots of fun here. The park is large, so you can easily spend the whole day there. The entrance fee is quite reasonable considering everything the park offers. There are many attractions, each with specific entry rules based on the child's height or age. The park is set in a pine forest, which provides plenty of shaded areas for resting away from the sun. There are also many food stalls, making it an ideal place to spend time with kids. Free parking is available just a few meters from the main entrance to the park. We’ll definitely come back. Cavallino Matto is a surprisingly fun amusement park. Beyond exciting rides like Freestyle and Jurassic river, its true charm lies in its beautiful pine forest setting, offering refreshing shade and a unique natural ambiance. It's a delightful blend of thrills and nature. Great for families.

Great little theme park, lots of rides for younger children but a few good thrill rides too. Almost no queues for virtually every ride makes the whole experience so much better than most theme parks and the staff generally very friendly as well. The setting amongst lots of trees makes it look good as well as providing lots of shade in hot weather.

A great place to have fun with your family. We visit the park every summer and spend the whole day there. The staff at the ticket office were absolutely wonderful, making our arrival smooth and enjoyable. They were incredibly efficient, getting everyone through quickly even during a busy period, and answered all our questions with a smile. We really appreciated their excellent customer service and positive energy. There are a lot of rides and entertainment to choose from. The Jurassic River ride is spectacular! We also appreciated the picnic area and the alley with the misting system, which made us feel so refreshed on ascorching summer day.

Super friendly staff, nice set of diverse rides especially for smaller kids. It's great that the area is full of trees so there's always enough shade during hot weather. We experienced almost no waiting time for every attraction we tried. (Summer high season, but during a workday)

There’s nothing like italian theme parks, another one we were blown away by. We came with a 2 year old and even for him, there were so many rides and activities to enjoy. Great great experience, highly recommend, if you have a chance to go.

Great for young kids and families. Loads of rides of different intensity but hardly any queues in October. A couple of shows. Recommend bringing your own food and leaving it in the picnic area. No-one will touch it and you'll save a ton of money. The only water fountain with drinkable water is near the entrance so plan to go back there a few times during the day.

We’ve been to this beautiful beach with white stones. Takes around 10 mins walk but it’s totally worth it. Good for kids to play as well. Small restaurant serving Coffee/ice cream close by

Rocky Beach. It's nice and suggestive but difficult to arrive and can get very packed of people. There is a little bar and public toilet on top of the mountain. There is the possibility to rent the umbrella but it's better to do it in advanced.

Stunning beach but quite small and very crowded. If you walk west at the end of the beach and you will cross the cliff you can find another part of the beach which is almost empty

Usually I would avoid stony beaches, but with Capo Bianco I felt in love. Great beach, parking available nearby and awesome for snorkeling.

Highly recommended this hidden gem. A bit away from the main beaches but a wonderful day swimming and snorkelling. It’s a stone beach so pack sandals and be sure to bring cash for parking, approx 6-10euros for the day. Well worth it!

Riding the funicolare to the top of the mountain is totally worth it!! While you are up there- explore the small medieval village! The view is fabulous! 👍❤️

Great experience—definitely recommend! The return ticket was €7 per person, and absolutely worth it. Montecatini Alto felt like stepping back in time. I absolutely loved it! 🥰

It was a fun, relaxing ride, you have plenty of information available on the spot regarding its history an elevation angles. And the view from Montecatini Alto is magnificent. The funicular program makes it hard to miss the experience (it is open until 24.00).

The journey is gentle and slow enough to be able to enjoy the view. Staff were friendly and a return ticket is €7. We enjoyed our visit to Montecatini Alto, there are several small shops and a central square with restaurants, a bar, and Gelato shop. lots of outdoor seating and shade in a medieval village.

If you're in Montecatini then you should visit Montecatini Alto using the Furnicular! This is the mountain Railcar that takes you up to the small town with big views! Trains run every 30mins all day and night (not overnight) and tickets cost €7.50

Fantastic trip on the cable car and amazing views from up there

Very unique place of the walled city of Lucca. Its almost whole round walkable on the top of the walls or street inside the walls. Plenty of trees, walkways are suitable for jogging and fitness exercises and walking of the locals. very calm green place. From the walls you can see the old city and also outside, small water channels under the wall. All around are about 11 bastions and couple of gates to the city. The wall is 4 km long and is among the best preserved Renaissance fortifications in Europe, and the second largest intact example of a fully walled Renaissance city after Nicosia on Cyprus.

A short walk...even with your roller bag...from the train station to the walls of Lucca. I always get a smile when the gate comes into view. The walled city of Lucca still holds plenty of lore with its many restaurants and merchants. This trip we stayed at the Grand Universe right in the center of Lucca so we could be immersed in the city culture and people.

We used the ramp at Porta di San Pietro to take a one-hour stroll anticlockwise along the wall. The views of the old city on one side and of the Lucca hills and Apuan Alps on the other are charming and inspiring. Due to lack of time we were not able to walk the entire length (4.4 km) of the wall, but the segment we did, was organized as a usual public park. The park would benefit of informative panels that could provide visitors with historical context and details on the surrounding area.

Fun way to visit the city. You can walk, stroll, bike, we rent a 6 person bike. 1-2h walking.

My favourite part of our visit to Lucca was the Mura di Lucca. An absolutely brilliant use of the city wall by having a multipurpose recreational trail on top of the wall! Paved for walking and wheeling, the many ramps give ready access for users. The bulwarks of the wall have parks, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Several museums and the Botanical gardens are accessed from the trail. The Mura also has several gates as well as pedestrian tunnels. Stunning views of the hills surrounding Lucca. Worth a saunter!

Amazing and beautiful scenery. You can either walk around on the walls or rent a bicycle for faster movement. The view from the walls is truly beautiful.

This is a beautiful atmospheric place that will please lovers not only of delicious food, but also of modern art. There is great cuisine and delicious cocktails. For little money you will get a delicious dinner, a great drink, wonderful acquaintances and a creative atmosphere. We were happy to come here every day during our vacation in Livorno.

Wonderful little bar with a great atmosphere and friendly service from the staff. A couple of people were playing music on the piano and guitar inside, a lovely environment to sit in the sun next to the water and enjoy a drink.

Only in for a beer, but the atmosphere left us sitting there for a few more. Cosy and artistic. A couple were entertaining on the piano, and a singer with a great voice. With the lady owner on the saxophone. Just great.

Absolutely love this place. They always treat my sister, sister in law, my niece, and myself with such respect and kindness when we come out here. Whether we come out here together or separately, it’s always the same politeness from the staff. 12/10 service and atmosphere, the food is good as well. By far the best experience in Livorno and there were many. This bar is situated next to The Grand Hotel on the sea front. Never the same experience with musicians and artist all visiting to set the vibe with the owners many available musical instruments being loaned to all. We concluded every day of our visit here and met some wonderful people especially the owners. A true treasure of Livorno.

Before I went to visit, I thought it would be overrated, old and uninteresting, but when I got there, I was completely wowed! The tower and surrounding buildings have been maintained in such a pristine way that they look like they were built last week. For a building that is over 850 years old, it sure has aged well. The scale and lean of the tower is unbelievable and cannot be felt from pictures. This is a must visit when you are in Italy. It is truly a majestic sight.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an absolute blast to visit! Seeing it in person is way more impressive than any photo, and the tilt is even more dramatic up close. The best part? Getting creative with photos! We had so much fun “holding it up,” pretending to push it over, leaning against it, or even putting it in an ice cream cone — endless silly opportunities for memories and laughs. The surrounding Piazza dei Miracoli is beautiful too, with the cathedral and baptistery making the perfect backdrop. Even just walking around and soaking in the architecture is a treat. Iconic- such an amazing view. I loved this place but so crowded. I would recommend visiting the museum next to the tower of Pisa to get an amazing view with minimal people spoiling your photos. Also there is a restaurant in this museum and you get a stunning view. Recommend climbing the tower of Pisa that was amazing make sure you are willing to climb as can be tiring. Trainers recommended for the climb.

Had a lovely time here. The tower itself has a beautiful view when you're at the top. The steps are slippery tho so be careful aspecially when walking back down. The cathedral is gorgeous also on the inside. We bought tickets that included entree to all buildings and museums and also walked the walls of pisa all the way (which was quite long). Definitely recommend visiting and also going inside.

The building was amazing but everything else lacked in excitement. There was only one fountain open to obtain water to drink. Nothing else was open. I was under tge influence that there was access to the hot springs for wading but that wasn't the case. I did catch a local orchestra practicing. Honestly, that was the highlight of that visit

This is how beautiful it can be in Pisa, this small fantastic cosy city with it’s unbeatable charm. I walked the street and tje wall, everything was almost as a dream, I met fantastic people, I saw buildings that almost made me faint, it was like I was hit by Stendahls Syndrome. It's true you can't go far in Italy without running into history and this is no exception. Using viator, ITaly, lime (scooter rental), the world is your oyster. Hard to find anything for free nowadays! This church was unreal!! I have been to the Sistine Chapel and it was really nice but so crowded and honestly hard to see most of it with really long line ups. This place was painted at the same time in the 1500 and looks so perfect! All free with no lineups !! If you're looking for paintings and beautiful art then you have to make the trip to Parma , pulse the food is way better!!!!!

My wife and I spent a full month in Parma and out of everything we saw across Italy, Teatro Farnese was by far one of the most breathtaking places we visited. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time. The entire theater is made of wood and when the light shines through the upper windows it gives the space a warm golden glow that pictures can never capture. The history makes it even more special. It was built in the early 1600s for the Dukes of Parma and later destroyed during World War II. What you see today was carefully rebuilt using the same original design and materials. You can feel the care and craftsmanship that went into every detail. Standing in the center of the theater surrounded by rows of wood seating is a moment that stays with you. It is quiet and grand all at once and you can almost imagine the performances that once filled the space. If you are visiting Parma, do not miss it. Teatro Farnese is absolutely spectacular and one of the true treasures of Italy.

Wonderful and quiet teatro farnese was beautiful welcoming . Between my broken Italian and little English from staff, we were shown the way around so as to not miss anything. Great two hours of wonderful architecture and paintings the library was one of the best I have seen. The grand wooden theatre is amazing you smell the wood as you approach. Wonderfully taken care of.

the main masterpiece of Ranuccio's time is the Farnese Theatre. You will definitely not see anything like it anywhere else. A huge theatre from the beginning of the 17th century... made of wood! A unique landmark. In fact, there are similar theatres, the Olimpico in Vicenza and the Antica in Sabbioneta, the architect of Parma used them as models. But the theatre in Parma is larger.

The most incredible theatre I have ever seen. It was renovated a few years ago in the early 2000. It's like ab old Roman theatre and the minute you walk in you will smell the aroma from all of the wooden beams that hold up and make up this incredible structure. The theatre is part of the greater Palazzo Della Pilotta complex. Your €16 ticket gives you access to the Library, Theatre, Archeological museum and the gallery. There are some great models on display as well as Roman ruins. Your theatre visit will likely be short like ours, 30 mins is all you need but it will leave you in awe. It was like stepping back in time on an old movie set. It really is remarkable. Highly recommended

It was a great opportunity to visit what still stands of an old castle. Tons of stairs to get to the top. Not a real lot to see. But glad I did it. Not for anyone with issues with heights. I was lucky to do this when no one else was in the building. If you are pressed for time may be worth just checking out the town instead.

Came here to spend a few hours, to see the castle and the other sights and some walk. The whole small medieval town is a sight for itself. We parked down in the village and walk the hill up to the castle. Beautiful buildings and architecture all the way up. And on top of course the castle, the tower and many other sights. As well as a small park with some nice views. The town dates back to the 8th Century, but it believed to be even older. The castle itself (the "Borgo") was build in 1342, while the nearby church "Santa Maria Assunta" dates back to the 11th Century. Then there's the Palazzo del Podestà and the Bell tower and other notable buildings up there in the castle area. It was also the filming location of "Ladyhawke" starring Matthew Broderick, Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer. We came here on a sunday, there were some visitors, but we expected a lot more, free parking available down in the village as well. A really wonderful old town worth visiting. We didn't expect much, since we really didn't know much about the place, but were really impressed by this beautiful town.

Getting caught up on reviews/pics from out trip to Italy in May/June 2024. What an amazing castle! The owner/family still lives there, but has opened the castle for tours. The history of the castle goes back some 1500 years. It’s on a large hill overlooking the Trebbia River, in the province of Piacenza, Italy. Many of the rooms in the castle are “as is”… as they have been for centuries. So much history there, from prisoners to royal guests from all over Europe. It really is a very cool place to visit, good for families as well!

Would be a great trip but if you are not Italian, the tour guides are extremely inhospitable and rude. They do not try to hide their xenophobia. In certain rooms they refuse to speak anything but Italian, and they will not make eye contact with anyone who does not. We were dismissed quickly and the visit was not worth the money. I agree with other reviews, the staff make this a must-miss and unpleasant experience.

This could be a fantastic experience if only the (still living) descendants weren't so selfish and exclusive. For instance: you can't take photos inside the castle; wonder why? me too! Also, the rooms and most of the castle isn't true to its origin: it's rebuilt, not restored. Not recommended.

The places does impress the wanderers due to its vastness and abundance of various exotic expostinions. There are many interesting acquariums including both commonly known sea critters as well as even more interesting unpopular ones. If it's not enough for you, don't worry! There are a handful of beautifully recreated biomes containing the richness of coral reefs, raw desert enviroments full with beautifull animals as well as huge pool with eager to play dolphins within.

I love visiting aquariums. My favorite places among the aquariums I've visited so far are L’Oceanogràfic Valencia, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Moskvarium. This aquarium Genoa is quite small but it's easy to visit location for tourists and jellyfish tanks were lovely. I visited there during the winter off-season and there was no line so I am not sure if it was necessary to buy the on-line entrance ticket in advance.

This city is unique, special, and legendary. Although there are a lot of immigrants who create problems of cleanliness and also other kind. This aquarium is very large and interesting. It took about 2 hours to fully explord it. There are many species of marine animals here. It is always interesting to look at them and at the same time read information about them. And a large hall with a huge panoramic glass wall, through which you can see dolphins swimming underwater, was the realization of a child's dream. Sitting there, listening to the soothing music and looking at this magnificence was incomparable. Many people believe that the price of entering an aquarium is high. Maybe that's true.

We LOVED IT, this aquarium is huge and has some sea life I haven’t seen in US. We love aquariums, you can’t go wrong. Our daughter loves the jellyfish and some cool snakes in there Husband said the manatees were amazing and large variety of sea life and frogs. When you start you are on the bottom level and you go through the whole bottom level… then you go upstairs and see everything upstairs but also have a view of sharks and other animals you saw downstairs and upstairs is best for pictures of the dolphins and sharks - for me. There is also an area you can touch some sea life.

Really enjoyed the aquarium! It is quite busy as one wood expect but it flows pretty well out and back. Lots of different species of marine life to see from all over the world. Buy tickets in advance to avoid lining up twice and beware all the people outside trying to sell/force stuff into your hands.

Certosia di Pavia is a magical place. The monks who lead guided tours are extremely knowledgeable about the history of the monastery and the sanctuary. There's a little shop where you can buy some delicious local rice perfect to cook risotto.

Magnificent monastery with a truly striking gothic church embellished by masterly carved tombs and a simply majestic wooden choir. You have to join a free tour to visit the complex, departing at fixed hours and led by very knowledgeable monks. At the end of the tour a small shop offers food prepared on the premises (and from the surrounding areas, I guess)

A truly special site of spiritual and historic importance that has retained its stunning craftsmanship and artistry as well as its character and ambience over 7 centuries since its foundation. Well worth visiting especially in the afternoon when the sun shines on the western facade.

This is not about the place itself, but about one staff member. One woman shouted at us about our clothing. I calmly apologized, explained we didn’t know, and told her there was no need to shout. She continued yelling and never calmed down. Yet I fully understand that we must dress modestly. So easy to arrive there by train from Milan, just 40 mins, 3,80€ / tickets and you ca enjoy such a wonderful historical place absolutely for free. We arrived at 14:30 and at 15:00 started a guided tour by a monk who lived there. It was very interesting and we enjoyed a couple of hours at this place.

Even when we visited Vigevano in one of late September afternoons the piazza was almost deserted. It seemd that people were still on holiday and most shops were closed. It had a very calm and peaceful vibes to the town. Had a quiet stroll around the Piazza and had snacks and coffee. We enjoyed the couple of hours we had there a lot.

A few years ago I read somewhere that this was one of the most beautiful squares in the world. The numerous photos by pros and tourists testify it. Being born in Piedmont, I used to visit this quaint town quite often, appreciating its medieval cobblestone alleys, to reach the piazza Ducale and enjoy an excellent ice cream. A lot has changed, nothing stays forever, but the square has maintained its grandeur. The historical shops have disappeared in favor of expensive eateries with rude and hasty service, aiming only at you spending $ on mediocre food and drinks. Head towards the hidden, narrow streets that surround it and you’ll find small pubs and food joints with courteous and amicable service and decent prices. By the way, DO visit the Sforza castle, it’s a true medieval gem with frescos, ancient and secret gardens and horse stables. It’ll satisfy your cravings for history and well kept ancient artifacts

One of many beautiful bridges I have seen in my life, but definitely not overrated. Very stunning! It's also called bridge of sighs and has an really interesting history, which is worth a google. I'm not too sure if you can actually walk over it but you dmcould view it from afar as see in the pictures or take a ride in a gondola and float along the waterways.

The Pombia Safari Park is a wonderful place to watch animals freely roaming around instead of being confined in cages. It’s truly enjoyable to observe them in a more natural environment. The beautiful giraffes are especially captivating, and I was really impressed by the lemurs. Overall, there are quite a lot of different animal species, and it’s fascinating to watch them in the safari setting.

Super safari with the car, seeing a lot of animals closeby. Afterwards, we visited the park, had some lunch and refreshed in the water park.

Initially I felt this was expensive at 26 euros per adult, but it's really not when compared with similar attractions elsewhere. There's a lot here, particularly on the safari route itself - we did this on the train, which took 45 minutes and would recommend this option. There are parts of the park that look a little tired, but also effort going into upgrading. It was quiet on our visit today, and plenty of staff around. Overall, a good day out with a young child and would recommend.

This is a good outlet but not so perfect. The prices are a bit higher in comparison to the other outlets. And the variety is not so high. But the atmosphere and design are nice and friendly. There are Enough toilets and parkings. But options for eating are so less.

A fantastic open-air outlet — I absolutely loved it! This open-air outlet was such a great surprise! The whole place is beautifully designed, with wide, clean walkways and a very relaxing atmosphere. Shopping outdoors made the experience so much more enjoyable and stress-free. There’s a great selection of stores, with something for everyone — from clothing and shoes to home goods and accessories. I could have spent hours browsing! The prices were excellent, with lots of good deals and discounts in most shops. I found some real bargains that made the trip totally worth it. Everything felt very well organized, tidy, and pleasant. If you’re looking for a day of shopping in a lovely setting, without the chaos of an indoor mall, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back!

Nice outlet! Very nice environment, super clean area, all you need you’ll find there. We‘ve been there for a couple of hours and luckily it wasn’t to full so we could check all the stores we were interested. Nice restaurant and cafes you can find on the main plaza. A huge selection of stores and interesting brands

Nice outlet. The walk is outside which is nice if the weather is good. The prices of American brands are a little expensive. Do arrive especially for them.

We got robbed at this place. The security at the parking lot doesn't exist and allows thief's run wild. Not even cameras are present.

Was a really interesting museum. A modern twist on wine history and leans more toward the cultural significance than the actual process of producing. Plenty to keep kids interested as well. Bonus it’s in the castle!

Nice place to spend an hour there, but don’t expect a lot…

Somehow strange, moreover a museum for imagination and inventivity; not at all what you would expect for such museum quite expensive. Old castle refurbished. Vieux from the top terrace are beautiful - you can see all the valley! Visitors are advised to take the elevator to the third floor and go down by stairs to the basement, where they can taste and buy some wine. Tasting is not free and its cost depends on the price of wine. If you do not buy wine don’t bother to go to the basement as there are many stairs and later you have to go up :)

It wasn't what I expected from a wine museum in a positive way. The mesuem starts a bit more artsy and plays on the sensations around wine. Later there is more histroical explanations about wine, where it comes from and how culture has shifted around wine. Overal a fun experience, not too long and enough diversity and interactivity.

WiMu has a different approach to some other wine museums. Rather than focussing on the technological aspects of the wine making process, it highlights the relationship of wine to the region itself. It does so using a series of informative art installations, with a different focus each room. The third and final floor felt a bit random (some history about local schooling, plus a conference room), and didn't add much to us. Overall, this was a fun experience and definitely worth checking out when visiting Barolo

Amazing museum and vine tasting experience, definitely worth visiting

Took train from Biella. Ensure you get return ticket as nothing at Candelo train stop. Walked to Ricetta, about 10 minutes.. Free to enter. Interrstingvstone constructions. You can purchase items within the Ricetta, but we ate outside before going in. Delicious Gelato across the road too. Probably easier if you have a car. Historically interesting.

Beautiful Medieval Town. It's a must. The photos speak for themselves. Don't miss it.

In August, it's mainly empty, Moreover at the beginning of the week. A little veg n fruits stall was open, a collection shop and artist's as well but nothing else. The place was empty. Then you understand it's mainly an attraction and it's not maintained in total respect of its origins. So the place isn't history immersive as it could be.

Very unique and interesting historical storage area of an medieval city. It’s absolutely worth to visit. Reminds me a bit about the agadir tradition in southern Antiatlas mountains in Morocco

A wonderfully preserved medieval village. It is well taken care of, you can actually feel the time warp inside here. Loved exploring this place. It was in my to do list but i will be back here..

Stunning medieval borgo, completely maintained in medieval style. Once you enter the tiny Borgo, it's like being transported throughout history to the past. It has some boutiques and taverns to have a full experience of the place. It's really fascinating and a one-of-a-kind experience in the middle of northern Italy.
