Great institution supporting and funding the work of new artists. Modern Sculpture in woodland setting. It is £12.50 for Adults entrance fee with no time constraints. It took us about two hours to walk around but we took a very leisurely pace and stopped to admire the sculptures and the landscape for quite some time. There were lots of families when we visited (Saturday). The space is very open so kids can run around. A few were climbing some of the sculptures - which I don't think is appropriate - but most were having a great time whilst still behaving themselves. There are no food or drink facilities on site so if you are planning to make a day of it then possibly consider bringing a picnic with you. Like most art, personal taste plays a big part in whether you will like it or not - even if the pieces don't resonate with you personally, I would imagine most people can at least appreciate the skill and effort that has gone into their creation. There were a few installations that I thought were a bit out there, but that did make me stop and think a bit. Well worth a visit and you will be supporting the arts too.

The cathedral is beautiful. It stands above the town at the top of a hill. Lots of history and gothic architecture. It has one of the most beautiful organs i have seen! There is no entrance fee, but you make a donation.

We really enjoyed our visit. So much better that we thought it would be. We visited all parts and needed five hours to do so. The castle is stunning to see close up. The interior is vast. The gardens excellent. All very well maintained. Unlike National Trust properties all the guides are paid, not volunteers. They know the history well. The views across the countryside from the battlements and lovely. I recommend visiting. It is worth every penny of the entrance fee.

This is a beautifully picturesque and outstanding WWT Reserve near Arundel with a host of things to see and do including Wetland Discovery Boat Safari, Wildlife Hides, Wetland Secrets House, Waterside Walk, Pelican Cove, Coastal Creek Aviary and Reedbed Boardwalk. The Wetland Discovery Boat Safari is an absolutely fantastic and beautiful peaceful ride on a boat through one of the many waterways at the reserve and these boat rides cost an extra £3 per person on top of the base admission fee into the reserve, which is extremely reasonable and during the boat rides you can admire the beautiful waterways of the reserve and also see wildlife such as Mute Swans, Pike and Mallard Ducks and there is a great narration from the boatman on what wildlife there is to see. The boat safaris run at various times intervals throughout the day and information is available at the reception with regard this. The boat safari is a lovely wonderful relaxing experience. There are great some walks around the reserve where you can admire some fantastic picturesque views of the reserve and the local area and during your walk around the reserve you can wander into the various hides such as the Lapwing hide and Sandmartin hide where you can catch a great glimpse of the ponds but also see Sandmartins, Canada Geese, Tufted Ducks and Pochards. There is a Duckery where you can see some further Wetland Birds including Emperor Geese, Hawaian Geese, Swan Ducks and Mandarin Ducks which look in great condition and well looked after. There is the Pelican Cove where you can see Dalmatian Pelicans which look wonderfully imposing and look amazing on the eye and there is talk and feed of the Pelicans where you can learn further interesting facts about them and also seeing them being fed is a great sight to see. The Wetland Secret Plant House you can see and smell some Wildflowers that are on display in there and it gives off a great wild aroma. In the Coastal Creek Aviary you can see Eider Ducks which are great to see. There is a pond dipping area which is great for little ones to look for insects and understand nature. There is other areas to mention such as the Wildlife Garden with great plant life to see. There is a cafe on site selling a great variety of refreshments at reasonable prices and there is a nice gift shop selling a variety of souvenirs at reasonable prices. Overall this is an absolute amazing and a thoroughly outstanding place to visit, which makes for a pleasant and relaxing day out. Definitely well worth a visit whilst in Arundel.

One of the most beautiful houses we have ever visited. The trip here was made so much more special by Dermot. A huge thank you for making us feel so welcome Dermot. We felt like we got the VIP treatment, you are a wonderful asset to such a magnificent house, it was a pleasure to meet you. The staff make this place. They are incredibly kind and have a wealth of knowledge. It was not busy at all when we visited which added to the charm. It’s also impeccably kept. We did the wood walk after we visited the house which I would also recommend. I was so impressed I’ll be telling everyone to visit.

I have such fond memories of the Natural History Museum from school trips and visits over the years. I’ve been several times as an adult too, with friends, family, and visitors to London, it’s always a wonderful experience. The main attraction is, of course, the incredible dinosaur displays, which never fail to impress. There’s so much to see and do, from fascinating exhibits to a beautiful garden outside that’s well worth exploring. Entry is free, and there are plenty of cafés and places to eat and drink inside. I’d definitely say this is a must visit for anyone coming to London, especially if you have children who love dinosaurs, it’s truly amazing.

We had so much fun here! It’s not just wax figures; the Star Wars and Marvel sections are amazing, and the 4D cinema was a great bonus. The 'Spirit of London' taxi ride was a total surprise and really enjoyable. Great for selfies and a good laugh. Definitely book online to save money!

Absolutely loved my first visit here. So much to see and do. The shops on offer are well stocked and so friendly. The food offerings are mouth watering. I thought it was all rather well priced and more importantly clean and safe. If you haven't been make a plan. Simply a must visit destination.

In 2013, it was announced that 55 Broadway would be converted into luxury apartments, once London Underground moved operations from the building in 2015 to their new headquarters in the Olympic Park, Stratford, London. In May 2014, it was announced that the architects, TateHindle, would lead the redevelopment and, in June 2015, planning permission and listed building consent was granted: however, this was not implemented and the planning permission expired in June 2018. In September 2019, a long-term lease of the property was sold by Transport for London for £120 million to Integrity International Group, founded by Tony Matharu. In May 2020, it was announced that Blue Orchid Hotels, a subsidiary of Integrity International, would convert the structure into a luxury hotel. Absolutely wonderful place to visit. We only had very limited time in London but this was somewhere we wanted to visit as we wanted to keep our costs low. The museum is free to enter but donations are welcomed. Firstly, the place is enormous. Various exhibitions are available with literally hundreds of things to look at, probably even thousands. It goes without saying that the place is very popular and often very busy so if you don't like crowds, do some research about your visit before you go. We spent a lot of time looking at the Egyptian exhibitions as my wife is very interested in that particular part of history but we did also wander around the Greek, Roman and middle Eastern parts as well. Both of us agreed that we would come back to visit but would definitely spend a whole day there as we felt rushed. There are places to grab a drink and a snack inside the museum as well, which is very welcome. It is worth noting that while backpacks are allowed, luggage is not. The shops nearby do offer a luggage storage solution.

A beautiful and inspiring place. The collection is world-class — from Renaissance masters to Impressionists — and it’s amazing that entry is free. The galleries are spacious and well organized, with helpful information about each painting. I also appreciated the quiet spots where you can just sit and enjoy the art. It can get busy in popular rooms, but overall it’s an unforgettable visit for any art lover.

Big Ben Tour – Inside the Elizabeth Tower Visiting the Elizabeth Tower might just be one of the best things you can do in London. Getting tickets, however, is the real challenge — plan ahead and try to book about six months in advance, checking the website regularly. No photos are allowed inside, which is a bit of a shame, but completely understandable. The climb is 334 steps up a narrow spiral staircase with just a simple metal railing, so this is not an experience for those with mobility issues or severe fear of heights. The first stretch is about 110 steps, with the rest broken into slightly shorter climbs and two rest stops along the way. Windows are few and far between, so you won’t have many chances to look outside during the climb. At the top, you’ll visit the belfry and see the Great Bell — Big Ben itself — up close. Great spot for a wee hike and ramble. Impressive views and very helpful staff at the National Trust cabin. Tried to come here before but it was mist bound. This time there was excellent weather and views.

Another great day out, there was plenty to see and do. All the animals looked well cared for and fed. It was amazing how close you felt you were to some of animals. Including the lions and the sun bear. The glass so clean it was like it wasn't there. The shops were responsibly priced and depending on your budget they had plenty to choose from. The food was nice and was a generous portion. Overall we had an amazing day would I would happily return.

Amazing! This was one of my favorite tours while in london. We bought our tickets which cost about $48. Place was packed. There is a cafe and a small gift shop inside, bathrooms of course. I would plan on spending at least 2 hours here if not 3. And then of course there's the crown jewels that speak for themselves. So much history here and so much to see I loved everything about this!

Tower Bridge is absolutely stunning! One of the best spots to visit in London — the views of the River Thames are amazing. The exhibition is interesting and gives a good idea of how the bridge works. Everything was clean and well-managed. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in London!

We had our Wedding reception here last night and honestly it went fantastic,The whole evening ran smoothly,The Chef had to cook for 100 people and it tasted fantastic,All staff were happy and very welcoming.Drinks were well priced too. Great walk with great views,good opportunity to see farm animals close. I recommend wearing hiking boots on this trail.

I went here today with my father to see the Brighton vs Tottenham Hotspur football match. We drove to the Mill Road Park & Ride and caught a bus to the stadium. We felt the park & ride worked incredibly well. We had tickets for The Heineken Lounge and were extremely impressed. We were welcomed and given our programmes and a drink voucher. The lounge is lovely and it was a great place to relax, have a sit down and enjoy our meal before the game. We both ordered the Albion Cheeseburger and were pleased with the generous portion. When the teams were warming up we made our way to our seats which were fantastic, we were front row on the balcony so we had a great view of the entire pitch for the whole game. The stadium is brilliant and we had a great day out, I am so glad we went!

It's a great little line,what I like is the enthusiasm that the place gives off,services are ran by diesel and steam and its just a nice trip down memory lane.who doesn't want to ride in a slam door carriage and feel the spring in a 70's coach seat..excellent, you can taste the age that the trains come from in the sights and smells..Also riding the vintage buses between epping,North weald and Ongar is a special treat to.long may these experiences continue. And of course lovely countryside of Essex.

We visited Old MacDonald’s Farm with our two children (aged 4 and 2), and it was such a fantastic day out! The last time we came was just before my son turned one, and he was a little too young to appreciate the full experience, so I can honestly say the experience this time was so much better. Both kids absolutely loved the rides – which I think is one of the best things about this farm. You don’t just get to see and interact with the animals (which they also enjoyed), but there are so many rides (some of which are even suitable for babies) and outdoor play areas that kept them fully engaged. It really does offer something for everyone. There were plenty of opportunities to meet the animals (we did the rabbit encounter), and we were lucky to catch the summer circus too – my children really enjoyed that. The staff stood out as well; everyone we met was so kind and friendly, which made the experience even nicer. On top of that, there are indoor soft play areas for rainy days, but we had sunny, warm weather so the kids made the most of the outdoor climbing frames and slides. We visited from 10am until 3pm, but honestly, you could easily spend the whole day here until closing. My tip would be to arrive early: start with the animals and then move on to the rides once they open at 11am. A brilliant family day out – we’ll definitely be back!

I found the visit to be immensely enjoyable. The price of admission was reasonable, although I would recommend taking some cash as there are drinks in certain places that you can buy. If you are interested in photography, be aware that there is a waiver to sign and a £5 charge. I am OK with this, especially as I am not a commercial photographer, but do note it. The audio wands are helpful and informative and there is a wealth of useful information provided. I took a good few hours going through and I would not mind coming again.

We went here for the living history festival and to see the house. The festival was really great , all the participants were very friendly and interesting to talk to. Unfortunately my phone ran out of battery half way round so I didn't get to photograph everyone. I'll definitely be back for the next one, with a fully charged phone :-)

I absolutely love Knockhatch. I visit family in Eastbourne every summer and every year we go to Knockhatch. It's great value for money with it including the animals, indoor and outdoor play areas, rides and the water play! It isn't too pricey either for food and is always clean and well managed. On our last visit, my baby got stung by a wasp, where her hand proceeded to swell. The staff were absolutely amazing with helping her, they attended to her straight away and we're really pleasant and polite. Would highly recommend Knockhatch to any age!

Interesting few hours at this impressive moated castle and interesting gardens. Didn't tour the house this time. Some amazing very old Sweet Chestnut trees outside. Nice walk around the various gardens, and beyond to the Folly and Lily Pond. Good options in the cafe, although nothing obvious gluten free.

Wasn't sure what to expect, we visited without any children. We had a really fun time with so many things to try. If you like finding out how things work, pressing buttons, pulling levers and playing games then this is well worth a visit. Food choices were limited but what we had was tasty. The telescope tour was fascinating and kept adults and kids interested. Plenty to do, inside and out so a great place to visit whatever the weather.
