Ilsan Lake Park is a serene lakefront escape offering a variety of attractions such as walking paths, playgrounds, sculptures, and even a small zoo. Situated along the Hangang River in Seoul, this park is a favorite weekend spot for locals and tourists alike. With over 1,800 cherry blossom trees and an array of other flora like forsythia shrubs and weeping willows, the park transforms into a fairy tale-like setting during spring.
I spent about 6 months in this area and enjoyed every moment of it. I loved being around the calm moments in the park on the lake and being able to exercise. It was special to witness the changing seasons here. I recommend taking a break from the tourist areas and spending a day here. It is just off the metro station and about an hour or so away from where most tourists are. I think you can also take a bus, and of course, drive. There are plenty of restrooms around the park too so no worries if you are not staying in the area. There are festivals as well with vendors who showcase their talents with homemade goods. I bought special heartfelt gifts here that I will cherish. I was also lucky to see my first drone show ever after a fall flower festival I think it was in October. I will definitely return here.

I'm glad I came here at the right time of the year. They have the World Flower Exhibition, and I spent around four hours inside, enjoying every single part of the event. I think it's worth visiting at least once—you'll fall in love with it! The ticket price is reasonable compared to others, and I even got a discount because I used my public transportation card to get here. The lake is a bit outside of Seoul, and the journey took over an hour. I also took some time to walk along the lake—such a great spot for a medium-length walk! In the summer, they have a musical fountain show at night. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Came during May where the roses bloom and surprisingly there’s really a lot to see than I imagined. Could spent half a day just walking here looking at all the flowers and view. There’s even a place where it looked like mini Nami Island !

It has been staying around the citizens in Ilsan over 20 years. The lake park is ready for different shapes in every season so we can see a variety of natural landscapes.

Beautiful Park with walking trails, bicycle trails, cafes, restaurants, flower beds, plants around the lake. There is a very small island in the center, too. There is a greenhouse fpr the cactus plants. In the lake there are Koi fish you can admire and take photos of. Waterfall south rast side of the park. Water fountain in the center of the lake. Plenty of shaded trees for hot summer days, gazebos, benches, swings and open grass space you can lay around and admire the nature and people watch. Highly recommended park 😎👍

Beautiful place. Many things to do like walking, cycling and other attractions like cactus exbhit, rose arches. There are shops around park renting bicycles if you don't have oneThere is a large parking space and convinience store too. Easily reachable by public transport.
Pavan S — Google review
The only reason I visited this lake again to see the pretty hydrangeas. As you see, I visited here a bit late, the hydrangeas already burnt? by the hot 🌞. Besides the pretty hydrangeas, there are many other photo spots as well. If you plan to go here, better arrive before 12pm, otherwise, you're gonna find line of cars waiting to enter the parking lot. Even if you can enter the parking lot, you have to keep circling the parking lot until you find free space.
Debs3012 — Google review
Although this place is an artificial lake park, it seems like natural park because of lots of tree. You can enjoy this really big park in various ways such as riding a bicycle, walking and taking a rest, etc. You can also see various flowers, especially roses on Jun. This is the best place to spend time with people you love in Goyang.

Water park
Sprawling park pairing water slides & wave pools with a snow hill & roof sledding year-round.
I visited during the peak season. I recommend going an hour before the opening time at 10 o'clock. I recommend buying tickets in advance. There were a lot of people even though I arrived at 9 o'clock. Indoor slide Tugelide is not scary enough for elementary school students to ride it, and kingvolide is a little scary, but elementary school students can ride it.
노로로 — Google review
I visited on Saturday and it was very crowded. Hat is mandatory to enter any pool, and the life vest is mandatory to enter the wave pool and the lazy river. I had to buy them on-site. I recommend bringing them as they were not cheap. Facilities were not that clean, and the indoor pool was stuffy.
Jina B — Google review
It's hard to go on a rainy day but I imagine it's very nice on other summer days ! Even a big open court to grab food and sit at! I loved it ! Visit here ! (Even though I didn't get to see the water park)
Breneé ( — Google review
Are you watching Love Alarm on Netflix right now? Yep, this is where they shot the skating scenes! There are 2 parks - the snow park and the water park. We were only able to visit the snow park due to limited time. Me and my family went here last June 2018. We had so, so, so much fun!! Helmets and thermal jackets are provided, pick a color! It must be worn before entering the ice for safety. The park is kid and adult friendly. This is our first time skating! Well with sleds, we hope to try the skates soon haha. The entire place is a fortress, with lot of shops, cafés, boutiques, and restaurants around.
Elyssa Y — Google review
A water park and a shopping mall next to each other. In summertime it will probably be packed. Right now it wasn't crowded at all. Decent shopping. Zara and H&M. Some other shops. Bot as crowded as western dome.
Bong K — Google review
The place is quite small for only one indoor floor and one outdoor floor with 3 slides. Outdoor floor is opened at 11:00am. People are not too many, so the waiting time is fine around 15-20mins. Tickets were cheaper if bought online. Half day here is fine.
YY N — Google review
I thought sledding for hours and hours would get old but it was actually fun. You can choose between a guided slope you slide down with a partner or a solo freestyle slope. Climbing the many stairs to switch between the two, then waiting in line eats up a lot of time, but the exhilarating trip downhill makes it all worth it. When it does start to wear a little thin, there are several picture zones, a cafeteria with tasty fries and the whole indoor ice rink where you can skate, jump on a trampoline or have real dogs pull you around on a sled (kinda weird but they looked healthy enough).
Candace L — Google review
So many ppl here today, Friday. Arrived here at 11 pm. I bought ticket from tmon. Pls remember and be careful, I asked the staff there and I clearly said I bought ticket from tmon, but she said I must get waiting number and must get the entrance ticket from the locket! Lucky I tried to check myself. I input the ticket number into the ticket machine, and yes I got the ticket! They need to educate their staffs again!! When we enter the entrance, we ll get locker key that we can use to keep our shoes or sandals and we can use it to pay for something we ate, drank, bought inside. For the most interesting rides here, boomerang, I waited in line for 1 hour! The ride was so short. Not worth the waiting.. one of the staff (guard) even tried to send people who queued alone coz boomerang is a ride for two. The ticket is of course cheaper compare to carribean bay but the scale is also smaller than carribean bay!

Dorasan Station

Mentioned on

Train station
Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Dorasan Station is situated at the northernmost point of South Korea's railway line, and it is hoped that one day it will connect North and South Korea when peace prevails. Although visitors can combine tours to create a full day experience, JSA tour was no longer being offered as of April 2018. Nevertheless, the DMZ tour remains available and provides an incredible yet surreal experience. The Third Tunnel of Aggression is a must-see attraction in this region.
Very modern, interesting and odd station to nowhere (so far). Will be nice to go back when it's connected to Pyeongyang. You can have a free stamp in the station (NOT recommended to put it in your passport)
Antonio M — Google review
Dorasan Station was intended to connect the South Korean rail network to North Korea's and hopefully the rest of the Asia rail network. The station was built for international use, but because of the ongoing tensions, the huge station is mostly empty, save for some memorabilia. You can take the DMZ train to the station or visit it as part of a tour, but there is not much to see here other than the railway tracks that go into North Korea. The DMZ train only runs once per day and you have to take it from a South Korean station. If you're visiting as part of a tour, you will need to pay 1000 won to access the platform with the tracks. Strongly recommend you to do that as there is not much to see in the station itself. Perhaps in the future you can take a train from here to Pyongyang.
Luke P — Google review
Newly built and renovated railway station artificially opened only for tourists as no regular trains stopping here. Station is planned to be used as connection point with DPRK. Nice souvenir to get the memorial stamp for 1000 won.
Joanness — Google review
Another tourist attraction stop for DMZ tour package. The South getting ready to connect the North. Hope peace coming soon.
Khaz! — Google review
Last weekend I finally was able to go to DMZ tour and it was so thrilling! We went to the Tunnel, Observatory and then we went to Dorasan station which is basically will be the first train station to North Korea in case of Unification. All in all, I definitely enjoyed my first trip to DMZ 🇰🇵
Lovtana — Google review
The northernmost train station in south korea. Also you can buy North korean wine here
Jason L — Google review
Dorasan Station is situated just south of the DMZ and serves as the last stop before reaching the border with North Korea. It is part of the Gyeongui Line, which historically connected Seoul with Pyongyang. The station holds significant symbolic value as it represents the potential for future connectivity between the two Koreas. Visitors can access the platforms and view the tracks heading north. It's a moving experience to stand on the platform and imagine the journey that could one day continue into North Korea. Check the train schedule in advance to plan your visit. Although there are occasional train services to and from the station, they may not be frequent. You can get a commemorative stamp from the station as a keepsake of your visit. Dorasan Station is included as part of our guided DMZ tours (Dora Observatory, the Third Infiltration Tunnel and Peace Park), which provided a structured experience and informative insights into the station's significance.
Y. T — Google review
This is the northernmost station in South Korea. It was rebuilt and reopened on 2002, but is not in use. It stands for the hope of reunification.

Dora Observatory

Mentioned on
3 lists
Observation deck
Sights & Landmarks
Dora Observatory is a hilltop post offering a close look into North Korea through pay binoculars. Visitors can witness the North Korean propaganda village, Kaesong city, and other sights. The nearby Dorasan Station is the northernmost train stop in South Korea and symbolizes hope for future inter-Korean connections. The observatory provides organized tours of the DMZ and JSA, with advance reservations recommended. The site features informative displays about the peninsula's history and artifacts related to the conflict.
Dora Observatory (도라전망대) offers one of the most surreal and poignant views of North Korea from South Korean soil. Located within the DMZ, this mountaintop vantage point provides a clear, binocular-aided look into the North, including the propaganda village of Kijŏng-dong and the skeletal Kaesong Industrial Complex. On clear days, you can even spot the *Reunification Flagpole towering in the distance. The observatory’s somber atmosphere is amplified by informational plaques and the palpable tension of the divided peninsula. While the experience is more contemplative than thrilling, it’s a powerful reminder of Korea’s unresolved division. Note: Access requires joining an official DMZ tour, and visibility depends on weather conditions—dress warmly in winter! A must for history and geopolitics enthusiasts.
Alvin L — Google review
Interesting theatre to look into the border between north and south Korea. There is a border town on both sides but according to the tour guide to DMZ, the town in North Korea border is fake and there is no one actually living there 🤔 They don't allow us to use your own binoculars but there is a pay one to use at the observatory.
Penny G — Google review
Great experience looking over the DMZ towards North Korea. Our excellent guide, Jones, was able to point out interesting sites including the various bunkers, the starting point of the third infiltration tunnels, the now abandoned industrial village, the jamming tower and more. An added bonus was that Jones brought his own pair of powerful binoculars so we did not have to queue for the public ones. As luck would have it, the weather was perfect to allow us a clear view over the DMZ. And whilst the JSA is closed to visitors, this is the next best option.
Alex T — Google review
Unique and thought-provoking view into North Korea Dora Observatory is one of the most fascinating stops on a DMZ tour. From here, you can actually see into North Korea, including the North’s village of Kijŏng-dong, which, according to our guide, is mostly a ghost town built to give the illusion of prosperity. On the South Korean side, you’ll spot Daeseong-dong, a real village where people still live, and the massive South Korean flag is clearly visible from the observatory. Photos aren’t allowed here for security reasons, so it’s all about being in the moment and taking in the reality of the division between the two countries. That said, the view is striking and definitely leaves an impression. There’s also a small café and sitting area on the second floor, where you can rest while literally facing North Korea, a surreal but peaceful experience. Photos from other areas. More pics at my IG: @ogolphotos Highly recommended as part of any DMZ tour. It’s not just a tourist stop, it gives you a deep sense of the ongoing tension and hope that exists in the region.
Gustavo O — Google review
Visiting the DMZ today on the Korean Peninsula was not as I expected at all. I was completely caught off guard how I would feel emotionally. Before I booked this tour, I was thinking - cool, let’s go check out this place. Let’s see the solders with their guns, the military check points, and get a glimpse of the Hermit Kingdom. It started out just as I expected. It felt so cool to be so close to North Korea. It wasn’t until we went to the Dora Observatory and had a chance to see the city, buildings, and farm on the other side, with binoculars, that it really hit me. All I could do was imagine what life is like for the people right in front of me, who were just a mere 4-5 kilometers from me. Here I was observing them from a far as if they lived in a zoo. These photos were not taken by me because you can not take photos of North Korea from the observatory anymore.
Johnny T — Google review
Very cool to see North Korea from here. No photos or there will be consequences, maybe deportation so do not even try to point your phone at North Korea. No souvenir shop here.
David T — Google review
Nothinf intresting and special...Just a fields of North Korea..no photos policy. But we had a very good guide Cindy
Rokas S — Google review
Such great organization and set up to show the story and history behind the North and South of this peninsula. So many artifacts are on display and it is hair raising driving through and seeing the signs of mines in the field. The expos are well put together and provide an accurate description of what happened, how and why. There are times group viewings on the top floor with binoculars pointed towards North Korea. This is time well spent and well worth the drive understanding the conflict. Highly recommend!

The Third Tunnel, also known as the Third Tunnel of Aggression, is one of four tunnels dug by North Korea with the suspected intention of invading South Korea. It has the potential to transport a large number of soldiers at an alarming rate and there may be other undiscovered tunnels. Despite North Korea's claim that it was part of a coal mine, evidence found on the tunnel walls suggests otherwise.
Kudos to the management !! This place is beautifully managed. Going inside The Third Tunnel is unique exciting experience. Sports shoes are must, as you need to walk almost a mile inside the tunnel, wet surface. Outside the tunnel, there are many picturesque points to capture memories and spend quality time. Cafeteria and shopping is also available. If you are in South Korea, DMZ is must go !!!
NARESH J — Google review
We went to the 3rd infiltration tunnel as part of our DMZ tour. As the bus takes you to the tunnel, you cross an innocuous blue line painted on the road. This marks the start of the DMZ. At the 3rd tunnel there is large carpark with an old tank, museum and some sculptures at one end and the entrance to the tunnel at the other. When you enter the building housing the tunnel entrance there is a photo opportunity with some much guards. You then have to deposit your mobile phones as they cannot be taken into the tunnel. You then have to collect a safety hat which turns out to be a vital piece of kit. Don’t take it off! Now for the fun part(!) - the walk to the tunnel is 350 metres down a steep walk. Then you walk along the tunnel itself for 250 metres until the first (of three) concrete blockades; you cannot go further than the first blockade which is actually only about 170 metres from the border with North Korea. The walk along the tunnel is quite low in many places - I am 6 foot tall and spent 80% of the 250 metre walk bent over and hit my head on the jagged roof at least a 8-10 times. I was very grateful for the hard hat. The tunnel has a number of area with dynamite holes made by North Korea and the tunnel is a nice piece of history. But other than that, there is not much to see. Then you have to walk back along the tunnel for 250 metres half bent over before the 350 metre steep climb back to the top. So make sure you have comfortable walking shoes and are prepared for the walk - I was reasonably ‘puffed’ by the time I reached the top and the souvenir shop.
Alex T — Google review
This was part of our dmz tour, it has unique historical background, but the tunnel itself is not very tempting. Easy way downhill for just a cement wall and then obviosly lot harder way up. Not really worth it going down since you are not allowed to take pictures.

Emotional in many ways to visit here. Cameras are not allowed in many areas...gor obvious reasons. Definitely worth the visit. A short drive from Seoul. Many tours available, but can also go on your own. We arrived and were able to get tickets without a reservation. We did arrive early, however. If you decide to go into the 3rd tunnel, its quite strenuous. The decent is steep, and low ceilings. Then the hike up. Wear comfortable shoes. Very glad we went the the DMZ while in the area.

North korea built tunnel to attack South Korea, but it was discovered in time and is now a tourist site. The walk down to the bottom and back up is brutal, wear walking shoes and take it seriously it is tough. No photos down there either. Overall a cool experience.
David T — Google review
Fascinating experience, however do take note that it requires physical stamina to walk through a tunnel with safety helmets (those who are tall ie. 1.70m and above will need to bend down) and walk up a steep slope to return. No handphones are allowed in the tunnel. Lockers are provided prior to entering.
Mary T — Google review
Interesting historical incursion into south Korea via underground tunnel. Limited photo opportunities due to being in military zone however, still well worth booking the tour and hearing about the history, and going into the tunnel itself. Fairly steep access and exit so need a level of fitness, however you can take your time.
Andy B — Google review
The Third Tunnel was part of a DMZ package tour.. it was well worth it , to see what people did and endured during this period in history. The cost was very reasonable for half day including transportation from Seoul, the Dora Observatory and meeting with someone who escaped North Korea a few years ago..

The Third Tunnel was part of a DMZ package tour.. it was well worth it , to see what people did and endured during this period in history. The cost was very reasonable for half day including transportation from Seoul, the Dora Observatory and meeting with someone who escaped North Korea a few years ago..

Sights & Landmarks
Jeondeungsa Temple is a serene and colorful Buddhist temple compound nestled among old-growth trees. The temple features ornate carvings and has a unique history, making it a must-visit for history lovers and those interested in Korean culture. While some parts of the temple are under renovation, visitors can still explore the beautiful grounds and various buildings. It's recommended to wear hiking shoes due to the steep hike, and there are souvenir shops both inside and outside the temple.
Is a beautiful temple. Even though is a raining day but it doesn't stop me from exploring this beautiful temple. Is a must visit temple if you are in Korea. Just 2 hours away from Incheon area.

Jeondeungsa Temple is a very old Buddhist temple located in Ganghwa County, Incheon, South Korea. It offers templestay programs that are very systematic.

Jeondeungsa is a stunningly beautiful temple with a unique history. I spent an afternoon here exploring the different buildings and marveling at the architecture. After walking around the sprawling grounds, you can also treat yourself to some delicious local specialties in the temple’s cafe. Highly recommend for history lovers and those wanting to gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture.

It is the oldest extant Buddhist temple in the entire Korean peninsula, having been founded in the year 381, during the Goguryeo period. Never even knew that this is the oldest temple in Korea. This is so interesting that I could actually go there. I bought a wish bracelet from their shop and I made the wish and I’m wearing it always I really recommend you going and doing the same. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and they’re beautiful kitties that you can spend your time with every angle of this place is beautiful. They also have a café with traditional Korean drinks and teas, though I do want to warn you that the one that I got was tasting like a medicine but it’s really good for your health !recommended! 😍

Beautiful temple and surroundings! It can get really crowded on the weekend. I did a 2-day/1-night templestay and it was a unique experience. The program was well organized, the temple staff really informative and attentive, the food at the restaurant delicious and the facilities clean and well maintained. Warmly recommended!

Currently there are some pathwalks being renovated but this doesn't hinder our time exploring the old temple. Very beautiful view, cheap entrance 3000₩, with discount for kids and elderly and groups... wear hiking shoes, I don't recommend slippers, steep hike for newbies. Lots of souvenir shops outside the gates and some inside the temple. There's free flowing spring water going to a wishing well. Bus 3000 is more accessible, bus 2000 they say comes every 1hrs going back to Seoul. I recommend you use naver maps for better transpo access. Best time to visit during celebration of Buddha's bday on May, spring, then on fall, and winter, summer.
Michelle E — Google review
Since I went to this temple during the winter, I feel Bomunsa looks more appealing. But with greens or colored leaves and flowers it might be better in season. This quiet temple offers the temple stay program in reasonable price. It might prify your dizzy mind while staying in such a beautiful temple.

The Ganghwa Peace Observatory is a complex located on the North Korean border that offers a unique opportunity to observe daily life in North Korea through binoculars for a fee of 500 won. The area is heavily guarded by active military sentries and has a checkpoint on the way. A historical and informative observation building with displays in Korean and English can be found, along with a small shop and restaurants inside.
This is a good place to be able to see North Korea, which is around 1.5km across the river. At the top, there are telescopes allowing vision to a ‘propaganda’ North Korean village, which has no actual inhabitants. Additionally, this observatory also focuses on ecology in the exhibition centre. Is worth a visit.

Must visit the Peace Observatory 100% if weathers is not bad! You can see North Korea here(just 2.3km btw South and North). There’s another observatory in Kyodong Island next Gangwha island. A truly unique place. Looking across the water from South to North Korea is surreal. The “settlements” seen along the northern shores are fake, no inhabitants. Razor-wire fencing all around this area on south side. Guards check permits. Some have tried swimming across and never got very far.

The museum is well-organized and pays attention to every detail in accurately portraying the war's history. The area offers stunning scenery and an opportunity to hike along the border line, providing a unique perspective on the North Korean border. While there are some challenges such as steep stairs and limited shade, the breathtaking views make it worth visiting.
Love the hike up and down the walls and also along the border line. I never came so close to the North Korean border. It was not crowded as we went on off peak season. But definitely worth a half day trip to take the hiking in this great country side of Dan Dong city.

(Translated by Google) This is Goguryeo Bakjakseong (泊灼城), which became the center of historical distortion as part of the Northeast Project, a part of the Great Wall of China. Goguryeo, one of the most powerful countries in Korean history, built Bakjakseong near its capital, Gungnaeseong, and used it as a defensive fortress. In the later years of Goguryeo’s rule, it was also used as part of the Great Wall of China. However, after Goguryeo fell and a long time had passed, this neglected historical site became the target of the eastern end of the Northeast Project promoted by the modern People’s Republic of China government, which aimed to expand its influence on the Korean Peninsula and stabilize its control over Manchuria. China committed the atrocity of destroying Goguryeo’s relics and walls by digging them up and remodeling them in a Chinese style. Let me say it again. This is not the end of the Great Wall of China. The end of the Great Wall of China is Shanhaiguan, and it is definitely not Bakjakseong (Hosanjangseong?). The history of Goguryeo is not Chinese history. The history of Korea and Manchuria cannot be Chinese history. The Yalu River Broken Bridge, a historic landmark in Dandong, was built in 1905 by the Japanese and partially destroyed during the Korean War. The Chinese side has been restored, allowing visitors to walk halfway across the river before reaching the broken North Korean side. Surrounding attractions include Hushan Great Wall and the Memorial Hall to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea.
Very cool place that lights up at night. It does feel kind of weird looking at the North Korean city across the Yalu River and seeing very few lights compared to the neon riverside streets of Dandong. Also feels a bit morally ambiguous too, being so close to North Korea.

The Yalu River Broken Bridge was originally constructed in 1909 linking Dandong, China with North Korea facilitating the transport of goods and people across the two countries. The bridge was subsequently damaged in the Korean War in 1950 and was never repaired. It was instead converted to a viewing platform and tourist attraction due to its historical significance.

We took a day trip to Dan Dong from Shenyang on a weekday. This small city is close to the south-western region of North Korea....separated by just a river, and is the Eastern start point of the great wall. The historical bridge on the Yalu River, which had been originally built by Japan at the beginning of XXth century, to connect Korea with the continental railway in Eurasia. Later back in the 50's the Korean side of the Bridge was badly damaged by the US Army🇺🇲 and never actually rebuilt. Later it was converted to a walkway and a viewing platform. Since then it's been a heritage and a historical site for tourists. At the end of the Broken Bridge one can have a look at North Korea. Worth visiting and an intriguing lesson of world's history. 🇨🇳🇰🇵

Very nice hiking trail. Very safe, outstanding views and clean. The hike is easy and well secured. Absolutely no need for cable cars or shuttles. Bring 6 to 7 hours time to cover the complete route. Overall it was not crowded, except for the area around the glass walk since it is easy reachable by cable car and many people just seem to go there and nowhere else. Entrance fee was a very fair 80 CNY. If you take shuttles and cable cars you can easily spent 3 times more.

Only a 20 minutes train ride from Dandong. Only use official taxies as the others can be dangerous (we were given a lift by a madman). If you didn't bring gloves with you, it's worth buying a pair as the handrails will be cold and slippery. People suffering from acrophobia stay away from the paths on top of the hills. Only one way traffic, so you won't be able to go back!

Dalian Coastal National Geopark is a stunning destination that beautifully merges hiking and geology, making it a must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The park features an array of uniquely shaped rocks, each with its own geological story told through informative boards placed nearby. As you traverse the well-maintained trails along the coast, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the clear sea and surrounding mountains.
A national park that makes a great hike for hikers as well as geology lovers. Many rocks with different shapes and formations whose geological history is usually well explained on small boards erected besides them. View of the sea is breathtaking, and the sea water is clear. Many locations for a great portrait photo with your favourite poses. The place would surely be flooded with newly-married couples coming for wedding photos if it weren't a ticketed national park so far from downtown. No complaints about the burning sun though, although it made us sweat a lot. (Photos taken on September 8, 2020.)

It was very good, pretty safe and the view while climbing was terrific.. also it had plenty of temples to visit while climbing so you never get bored.

A GOOD TREKKING EXPERIENCE, A WHOLE Scenic View

(Translated by Google) If you like mountains, this is a place worth visiting. The height is the same as Gwanaksan Mountain, but there are stone steps all the way to the top, so wearing sneakers is not a problem. The mountain scenery is nice and the view from the top is also nice. When coming down, it is convenient to take a mini shuttle bus (10 yuan per person). It was difficult to get there by public transportation, so I took a taxi and it cost about 150 yuan for a round trip from downtown.

Went there for skiing this winter! The snow was fake but good, but make sure you get there early in the morning before the artificial snow goes bad. Good facilities with restaurant and WiFi! All equipment hire available and included for the entrance fee, very affordable. The slopes are easy to master if you know what you are doing, but the big peak is a challenge. Also has other facilities like hotel and hot springs!

(Translated by Google) Although it is a little far from downtown Dalian, it is a ski resort that you can go on a day trip to. There are ski resorts in the city, but this one has longer courses and steeper slopes, making it more enjoyable. (Original) 大連市街から少し離れますが、日帰りで行けるスキー場。市内にもスキー場は有るが此方の方がコースが長く傾斜角も有り、楽しめる。
