I recently visited the Bateshwar Group of Temples near Morena, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable heritage trips I’ve had in Madhya Pradesh. The site is spread across a large area with beautifully carved temples, most of which date back centuries. What makes it truly special is the peaceful atmosphere—you can actually take your time walking around, exploring the ruins, and appreciating the detailed stonework without the usual rush of crowds. The restoration work by ASI is really commendable; many temples have been carefully reconstructed while keeping their original charm intact. The best time to visit is either early morning or late afternoon when the sunlight falls on the stones—it looks stunning and is perfect for photography. It’s a bit off the main highway, but the drive through the rural landscape is worth it. I’d suggest carrying water and some snacks, as there aren’t too many shops nearby. Overall, it’s a hidden gem for history lovers and anyone who enjoys architecture and calm surroundings.

Best place for history and architecture lovers , One of the best architecture of Nagar style of Hindu architecture. Bateshwar group of temples located in morena district of Madhya Pradesh. There is around 200 temples and it was built by the rulers of Gurjar and pratihara dynasty during 8th to 10th century. It's about 35 km away from Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh best time to visit from October to April.

For Solo Budget Travellers:- I took a bus from Gwalior Bus Stand to Nurabad, near Morena, Rs: 50/-. Bateswar is remortly located & only 2 buses go there from Nurabad, 1 at 12:30pm & another at 4pm. No sharing autos/ tempos. So at other times u need ur own vehicle or to hire an auto from Nurabad. I took an auto for Rs: 700/- to Bateshwar + Metaoli & back to Nurabad. Whole trip from & back to Nurabad took 4 hours. Must visit if in Gwalior. 108 shivlings present. Beautiful. However Metaoli is not worth visiting, the Chausat Yogini Temple there is totally restored, no part of it is original. Only stalls with chips/ wafers & water/ cold drinks present on whole trip. No tea. U will get food only in Nurabad.

Very beautiful. A little far off from major cities. Worth the effort of travelling here. Morning and evening are very beautiful. Most of it has been destroyed. What has been rebuilt is absolutely wonderful.

It's so beautiful and surreal to visit this place. You must visit atleast once because these are one of the few left Nagara (North Indian) style architecture Hindu Temples which are very rare. However it's 20kms from the highway detour so I suggest you visit during the early hours of the day as it becomes isolated by the evening.

Many images of goddess designed on stones itself by removing material from it.. magnificent showcase looks. Archeology survey of India doing well renovation work from ruins structure and Many temples looking original now. Clean and calm atmosphere.. good security arrangements. A well managed site..must visit by histry lovers. A great national heritage.

I recently visited the Ekattarso Mahadev Mandir, also known as the Chausath Yogini Temple, in Mitaoli, Morena, and it was a truly remarkable experience! This 11th-century temple, perched atop a small hill, is an architectural gem that feels like a hidden treasure. The climb up the 100 steps is worth it for the stunning views of the surrounding plains and the unique circular design of the temple. The temple’s layout, with its 64 small chambers surrounding a central shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Each chamber, originally meant for Yogini statues, now houses a Shiva linga, and the intricate carvings on the walls tell stories of ancient mythology. The open courtyard and hypaethral structure give it an airy, spiritual vibe, perfect for soaking in the history and tranquility. What stood out to me was how well-preserved the temple’is, despite being in a seismic zone. It’s a testament to the incredible engineering of the Kachchhapaghata dynasty. I also loved the peaceful village setting of Mitaoli—definitely a refreshing escape from crowded tourist spots. My only tip: bring water and snacks, as there aren’t many facilities nearby. Highly recommend visiting this lesser-known marvel if you’re near Gwalior or Morena!

From majestic lions to playful monkeys, every exhibit offered a unique insight into the world of wildlife. with informative signage educating visitors about the importance of protecting endangered species.We were particularly impressed by the efforts taken to provide a natural habitat for the animals. The enclosures are spacious and enriched with features that mimic their natural environment, allowing the animals to thrive. It was heartwarming to see them exhibit natural behaviors, from foraging to socializing, in a comfortable setting.

Very good sight for watching Ghariyal, Crocodile, few specific birds like Indian Skimmer, Surkhab (Ruddy Shelduck), Eurasian Spoonbill...

It is one of the hidden gems of India and does not attract many tourists, but the natural beauty of the place is worth a visit. You can do a lot of bird spotting, go on a river safari to spot ghariyals/ dolphins or taken a camel ride to the grand Ater fort nearby. Great option for a rustic experience. Only issue is cleanliness in public places.

Really a nice place, with lots to see in the chambal, though map shops mela kothi as the safari but it is just an expensive lodge. In reality it's 17 km ahead of it with last few kms in the beehad(ravines). To get best view of crocs and gharials you should come before noon.

Species found : swamp deer, chital, nilgai, wolf, leopard, hyena, gharial and wild boar. The rare gangetic dolphin is the main attraction of National Chambal Sanctuary. The other inhabitants of this sanctuary are magar (crocodile) and gharial (alligator), chinkara, sambar, nilgai, wolf and wild boar. Founded in 1979 the sanctuary is a part of a large area co-administered by Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Ten species under six genera and four families belonging to order Anura (toads & frogs) with their developmental stages have been recorded from the Park. Uperodon systoma, Polypedates maculatus and Rana crassa are recorded for the first time from the park. Besides, an interesting phenomenon of breeding of Bufonids was observed, which showed that B. stomaticus & B.melanostictus breeds during July-August on the northern slope of Siwalik ,whereas the same species breeds up to November on the southern slope. Polypedates maculatus, which inhabits the live tree-holes, breeds only in July.

Do NOT keep any over expectations when going for the Chambal Lake boat ride to watch the Ghariyal (Crocodiles). While on a 45 minute boat ride, we could only spot about 4 big crocodiles and lots of water birds. The boat ride is otherwise very peaceful and the surroundings are very serene. The cost of the 45 minutes boat ride is Rs. 700 per person and there are about 12 people cramped on a small boat. Not really worth the money you spend on the taxi to reach there and the actual boat ride.

Loved the water park it was very lively even though it was a weekday. The rides were awesome and very amusing. But the water was warm and not very pleasant as there was too much chlorine in it. The rides were very crowded and it may take upto 45mins for some rides. Overall could be done better if managed properly

It's a water park as well as amusement park. More famous for its water park. Lots of slides and fun areas. Required cleaning at most places like shower rooms and locker area. Food served was good and hygienic. Water at wave area was smelling but it's problem of lack of civics sense in Indian public. Recommended for enjoyment.

Very vast campus from main gate entrance it looked like that we are in Rome , artistic building's then pool area was wonderful, but couldn't enjoy all ride due to lack of time . Rest there were many things to see and discover. Must visit it's worth it. Just make sure that you have enough time to enjoy there.

Not worth the hype at all. That too when I visited on Wednesday. First of all, there was no proper management of crowd. In water park section, most of the pools have dirty water. None of the pool had fresh normal temperature water, instead they have almost hot water. There was too much waiting on all major slides, almost 30 min+, and people very frequently try to join mid-line by saying I know this person that person. Similar situation was in amusement park. Waiting time of 30-45 min, literally no sunshade for waiting people, and the major rides started late at about 2 pm. Now talking about the fooding part, yeah it was unlimited food and that too of goof quality. But, welcome drink was a joke, just a ₹10 mango drink. Also, at that price of ticket, one would expect at least pickle or chutney on the side, but a big NO. Overall I would say the park was a overhyped average experience.

Visted on Wednesday ticket price was 1000/- per person and it was full worth it... On 1000/- it includes water park, lunch and mostly all theme park rides and also waterpark costume was at reasonable price. Just 1 problem is that it's very crowded and you have to wait for 20-25min for every ride.

This Ghat has a lot of spiritual and religious significance and lies along the banks of the Ganges river. Wish it was a bit cleaner and better maintained given the number of worshipers who visit this sacred site to pray!

Some places have a peaceful vibe which can't be explained in words, Brahmavart Ghat was something like that. Went to Kanpur for academic purpose and wanted to wander around and see some beautiful local sites then all of a sudden got to know about this beautiful place. Woke up at 4 a.m watched the sunrise here and the serenity is beyond any explanation. Loved every bit of my time. The exquisite architecture of the mandirs near the ghat transcended us to an older yet majestic era. Prayed in Mahakal mandir, did Puja and our morning was complete. Came back with our hearts full of peace and happiness. If you are going to Kanpur, this place is a must visit .

It depends on the time you are visiting and the season too. There is a bramha temple and shiv temple if you visit in the evening then you can experience Aarthi there the timing for summer is 6:30 pm and winter it is 5:30 pm. Boating is also available. But to reach there is no proper public transportation available.

While the town and vendors haggling is something not desired the boat ride along the ghats on River Ganga and the overall scenic views are to marvel. We had a good experience and hope someday people realize the true value of the places and make it more presentable by cleaning the approach. More organized and standardized Pujari rates and process etc.

The atmosphere around temple is very positive you will feel positive and good vibes.. You can come with your family and friends And if someone of you coming from outside Kanpur and want to stay overnight. It’s very easy to book a room for you it will cost you around ₹2000/day.. And if you want to organise any party like marriage that can be also provided by them the decorations and catering service is also available. ** Kanpur Zoological Park ** Rating: ★★★★☆ I recently visited Kanpur Zoological Park, and overall, it was a great experience, though there are a few areas that could use improvement. The park is massive and offers a fantastic variety of animals. You can find many species, such as the Royal Bengal Tiger, Crocodile, Wolf, Rhinoceros, Himalayan Polar Bear, Leopard, and more. There are also 25-35 species of birds, including the vibrant Macau, Peacock, White Pelican, Goose, and various types of monkeys. The wildlife diversity is impressive, and the large green spaces make it a pleasant place to explore. It's a lovely spot to spend a few hours with family or friends. However, I did have an issue with the food stalls inside the zoo. While it’s understandable that prices may be a bit higher due to the location, it felt like they were taking advantage of visitors. For instance, a cold drink priced at ₹40 is being sold for ₹50, which is quite a markup. Other items were similarly overpriced, which left a bad taste after an otherwise enjoyable visit. Another area that needs attention is the cleanliness of the water storage areas, like the ponds. Some of them seemed to have stagnant water, and a little more care in maintaining these spots would improve the overall experience. Despite these minor issues, the zoo offers an amazing variety of animals and a beautiful, expansive space to enjoy nature. With some improvements to food pricing and cleanliness, this could easily be a five-star experience. Would definitely recommend visiting, but be prepared for the overcharging at the food stalls!

It's gonna be fun place for kids for adults really not , half the park was empty no lion no tiger no snakes lot more were jst empty cages. Still can be nice place for 1 day picnic. Improved a lot. Just need more variety of Species of Animals. Giraffe , Elephant , Gorilla will make Zoo Interesting And other Animals Which are rare. And More Rhino, And Labeling shud be done more specifically on some birds and animals.

The ticket was 70 rupees which is absolutely ok,after entering we took the battery cart for zoo tour the driver works as guide as well, infrastructure of zoo poor,not maintained special request to maintain washrooms,there was train which was now shutdown, roads inside zoo while riding was in very poor condition with pothholes,even the animals area was not at all maintained. Request to authority to maintain roads, washroom and train 🚂

The guest house at HBTU Kanpur is well-maintained and provides a very pleasant stay. The staff members responsible for maintaining the campus and the guest house are highly cooperative and attentive, ensuring that the premises remain very clean and organized. The accommodation is comfortable and well-arranged, making it suitable for guests. However, one limitation is that food and dining facilities are not available within the guest house premises.

This is certainly one of the prestigious in this country,and the great one,nonetheless, for individuals looking for pursue engineering and or other care technical course required essentially by default in this day and age. The world is a malignant and forgiving place at best, but to get admission into this facility is truly austere goal that many attempt but only few will actually achieve. Good luck to everyone currently enrolled or looking to get in. The sky isn't the limit. It's what you make it.

The campus of this institute is really beautiful and very well maintained though im not a student here whenever I visit this place , it gives a calm feeling seeing all the greenery around and birds chirping . Besides being a An engineering institute the best part is that this is open to the public ,you can go for walks and bicycle rides! The institute has a pool which one can join for a minimal fee. It is a part of the allen forest!

The Canteen inside the Stadium is awesome. Best in Class food and beverages being served here at affordable prices, stunning view of Cricket Ground, Museum entry on ticket, however, Restaurants entry is Free.

Green Park stadium is amazing 🤩. The view is so amazing from the restaurant. The exhibition is so good. The entry to the exhibition is from gate no. 10. The photos are also spectacular and the film is short but nice. The simulator is wow!! The view of the pavilion and pitch is amazing 😍.

Decent place for a family outing. Food was nice, nothing extraordinary but good enough. Spaghetti pasta with pesto sauce was brilliant though. Atmosphere and staff were a solid 4/5.

Green Park Stadium is an international standards cricket stadium of Kanpur, India. Its seating capacity increased to approximately 25,000 after a recent reconstruction. It is the home ground of Uttar Pradesh cricket team. Currently no international matches are playing here. I request BCCI to conduct matches here.

A nice place to walk in and have chill with family and friends it's near to the Fool Bagh as it's name suggests . The entry fee is ₹15 you can stay a whole day if you want . There is a canteen ,washroom ,water point from where you can drink water , also it has some small rides for children for which you need to pay some amount . There is a different section of rides where it's all free all in all a good experience.

This Church is located inside a private property and so not open during weekdays. It is only open during Sunday mass (9-11am). It's a beautiful surprise for such a small place as Rae Bareli. There are beautiful gardens inside, and a pathway for a long peaceful walk covered with tall trees and seasonal flower plans, if you're around, don't miss it.

Fees is not included here and it's open around 10 am and closes after 7 pm everyday . Family also take enjoy of this place. Entry to Khusro Bagh is free. This place is huge. There are different types of trees. Greenery everywhere. One could also spot squirrel, birds etc that we do not get to see in cities. The tombs inside Lhusro Bagh has beautiful moghal artworks. The temperature becomes soothing comparative to outside the Khusro Bhag.

We spent a good half an hour searching for this place - no one in the city knows of its whereabouts ! We finally reached it thanks to Google Map only to find its gates closed. The Security was not willing to divulge any details regards its Opening Timings etc. After talking with some locals nearby, we understand that the Cathedral is open to the public only on Sundays for about an hour between 10.00 and 11.00 AM.

One of the largest and most impressive churches in North India, All Saints’ Cathedral in Allahabad is part of the Anglican Church of North India (CNI) and comes under the Diocese of Lucknow. The church stands in the middle of what is, in essence, a huge traffic island: the road loops right around the circular church yard, with the massive stone church looming high above the trees. All Saints’ was designed by Sir William Emerson, the architect who also designed the iconic Victoria Memorial in Kolkata, as well as Mumbai’s Crawford Market. The church was consecrated in 1887, and is an important example of Indian colonial architecture at its grandest. As its popular local name—Patthar Girja, the ‘stone church’—suggests, All Saints’ is made of beige sandstone. There are rows of tall arched windows on each side of the length of the church. A rose window adorns one end, and there is beautiful old stained glass along the sides and behind the altar as well. The columns have the typical ‘acanthus’ capitals, decorated with bunches of carved curving acanthus leaves. The pulpit is of carved alabaster. The altar too has some beautiful carving, and three arched screen windows behind it that are fine examples of the Indian stone-working craft known as ‘jaali’: stone filigree. If you’re visiting as a tourist, the best time to go is probably around 15 minutes before service begins on Sunday. The church is open by then, and since you can look around inside without disrupting a service, it’s fine. No entry fee is charged, though you’re expected to behave decorously and be silent.

Very beautiful cathedral. Made in 1871 and took 40 years to complete. It's in Gothic design. In the church you will find awesome architectural arches and whole interior and you can pray to God as it's very calm and peaceful.

Went there with high expectations as I've seen many instagram posts talking about the beauty of this place. It is situated in a noisy , crowded and chaotic roundabout and it's supposedly open only on Sundays. Wonder why this information is not made available publicly.

This is a great place to visit. But it has so many wings that one can spend some days for those who relish the reminiscences of the Indian freedom fighting as well as Indian historic sculpture and artefacts there are other galleries too including a great library. The pistol of Sri Chandrasekhar is a very interesting exhibit. For school students and not to mention research scholars there is a lot of learning. Average visitors should have a few hours in their hand for visiting this epic museum.

An outstanding museum, well planned, very good collection of items from 1st century. Allahabad museum is a great place to spend a day, to browse through several galleries (16) to relish the reminiscences of the historic sculpture, artifacts, paintings etc. you need at least 2 days to look through each gallery display and to understand the history. So much one cal learn by visiting this huge museum. Established in 1931, the museum has evolved into a premier research center for archaeologists, historians, and academicians. It was declared an Institution of National Importance in 1985.

I went to Amethi(UP)and on my way back to home we had our train from prayagraj, hence I had to kill the layover time and after a very haphazard search on internet i stumbled upon this museum . It was humongous, and was surrounded by a much bigger park . the atmosphere was peaceful and refreshing, people were doing their exercises, running, walking, students coming in groups , hanging out .o Entry to the park costs just ₹10, and the museum ticket is ₹100 — totally worth it! The cleanliness and maintenance of the entire space truly impressed me. The museum itself is a treasure trove of Indian history and culture. I was amazed by the detailed galleries dedicated to the Indian Independence Movement, featuring stories and exhibits on events like the Komagata Maru incident, Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom, the Writer’s Building attack, and a lot more regarding which i attached pictures too. It was both moving and informative. I can't articulate the number of wonders k came across, in distinctively divided sections of the museum containing sculptures , recent archaeological finds, even exhibition of paintings done by people recently. There are also incredible collections of archaeological artefacts, including ancient coins, sculptures, fossils, and beautiful paintings, stamps collection of Older India. The diversity and depth of the exhibits kept me completely engaged, for around one and half hours. Though my visit was unplanned, it ended up becoming the highlight of my journey. If you’re in Prayagraj, even for a few hours, I’d highly recommend visiting the Allahabad Museum, it’s a beautiful blend of history, art, and calm surroundings.

I could not visit this place properly because I did not have much time. But whatever I visited, I found this park very beautiful. At the cost of Rs 5 Entry fees. I liked this park very much. I have seen many people here. They do jogging, running. They enjoy time with their family and friends. There is a lot to know about here. If you have time, then you can take at least 2 hours for this!

Victoria memorial is a decent place to visit but there is no care of this building. No neat and clear environment. There are lots of dust and no proper arrangement are made for disposals of garbage. The administrator including ASI must be take care of this place in better way.

I recently visited this place with my best friend and was quite impressed with both the museum and the planetarium. The entire area is very well-maintained — the greenery is lush and taken care of, and cleanliness is clearly a priority. To visit the planetarium, you need to purchase tickets, but they are quite affordable and definitely worth the price. The show was informative and engaging, making the experience memorable. The museum, which focuses on Nehru family is also quite impressive. Each exhibit feels authentic and thoughtfully curated. It gave me a deeper understanding of Nehru family life, values, and the lifestyle of leaders during that era. Overall, it was a meaningful and educational experience.

A very Big bungalow looks a luxurious lifestyle of natives. After seeing the first impressions appeared as Nehru ji a royal family person, enjoying superb comfortable life. The museum shown the history of nehru ji family. That is Nehru Dynasty. Not much about other freedom fighter heroes. Entry ticket of 200/- much more for such place, hence it doesn't attract sizable visitors, so it should be abolished..to attract crowd.

The museum is well preserved and maintained. Walking through Nehru’s study, Indira Gandhi’s room, and the family drawing room and watching the collection of photographs, personal belongings, handwritten letters, and Nehru’s vast library brought alive the stories I had and hadn't read about in books. The museum also gives you an insight into the lifestyle of the politically powerful and rich family of the time. The presence of the Jawahar Planetarium and the book store in the same complex adds a refreshing and educational dimension to the visit. Overall, Anand Bhawan is a recommended visit for anyone who's interested in history, heritage, and reflection. It will definitely be an informative trip if you take your time exploring and reading.

It is good place to visit in Prayagraj. There are so much memories of our late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Mrs Indira Gandhi. It is well maintained. It is spread over acres of land. One who visit here must come to see this place. Public facilities are also available. Such as toilets for both men and women are available.

Here one can view the items used by the family, especially those of Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Beside Anand Bhawan, there is another bhavan called Swarajaj Bhavan, which one can visit with the same ticket. Yeah you can go there , you can eat panipuri but carry own mineral water bottle and packaged food that is hard to get. If don't want to risk .

Bade Hanuman Mandir, also called Lete Hanuman Ji Mandir, is one of the most famous temples in Prayagraj, located near the Triveni Sangam and close to the Allahabad Fort. Bajrangbali fulfills the wishes of all devotees who come here It is said that while Hanumanji was returning after conquering Lanka, he felt tired on the way. At the request of Mother Sita, he lay down on the banks of the Sangam. Keeping this in mind, the temple of Latte Hanumanji was built here. This temple is believed to be at least 600-700 years old. It is said that the king of Kannauj had no children. His guru suggested a solution, "Build a statue of Hanumanji, who went to the underworld to rescue Rama and Lakshmana from the noose of a snake. This idol of Hanumanji should be made and brought back from Vindhyachal Mountain." When the king of Kannauj did so and brought the statue of Hanumanji by boat from Vindhyachal, the boat suddenly broke, and the statue sank into the water. The king was deeply saddened by this incident and returned to his kingdom. Many years later, when the water level of the Ganges receded, Baba Balgiri Maharaj, a devotee of Lord Rama, who was trying to light a fire there, found the statue. Security is concern about this place because many devotees are coming from across the world daily to have worship of lord Hanuman there will be fixed area in queue for local vendors , I am concerning about prasad quality of sweet sellers, no shade to protect from Sunlight and Rain, small waiting area proper drinkable free water, public restroom, cctv cameras should be installed everywhere, police chowki and servilance area, sniper should be deployed on top area, cleanliness, waste management.

Visited during the Mahakumbh season and the overall experience was good The only thing I could suggest to visitors is that you have to be good at bargaining because The boat owners asked us 2000 pp which was totally not fine we bargained at 1000 pp I don't know if this is fine or not but I can say every rupee is worth it.

While coming to Prayagraj, I always wanted to visit Triveni Sangam. And now I have seen it. The meeting point of three rivers - the Ganga, the Yamuna and the Saraswati, popularly known as Triveni Sangam is one of the holiest place to take a bath. I enjoyed the beauty of atmosphere there. There were shops for rituals, and priests to offer a worship to the rivers. And I recommend everyone to come to Triveni Sangam if they visit Prayagraj.

Jai Maa Asta Bhuji Devi. This temple is situated at the top of Vindhyachal Mountain. Here you can come with help of your feet ,😉 I mean by using stairs and roads or by help of ropeway or by using transportation, I mean using taxi or motorcycle or car depends upon you. But overall a good place to visit here from mountain you can get pleasent sight and a good place to get images if you are a photographer or even normal smartphone user you can also get good quality images.

Priest and pujaris looking after the temple it should be their sole responsibility that no devotee should feel akward due to unwanted greedy behaviour. Every sanatani knows their responsibility and have their devotion and faith towards god. Its my humble request to form a committee and a single donation counter for development and looking after of temple premises. Every available pujaris and pandits (7 to 8) demanding money doesnot looks good to devotees coming to visit. This can negatively impact the tourism their. Pls consider it as a positive review. This is not for the temple but the pandas. I went for my child's mundan darshan and while praying to kaal bhairav in ashtabhuja temple the panda there clapped me on my back and mind you I did not ask for the blessings or anything as such from the panda or anything. I think it does qualify for harassment. I could not say anything due to my family and other devotees faith and occassion but it was over all a very dreadful experience.

PLEASE DO NOT PLAN TO GO TO THIS PLACE. More than three-fourth of the fort is inaccesible. There is a police post here so public access is closed. Moreover the road leading up to the fort is completely broken resulting in a very bumpy ride. Tour agents include this place in their itinerary knowingly ...so beware! Only a square structure with archways is accessible. Even viewing areas to see the river is closed. It is a waste of time, effort & money.

Great place of the mughal era . It is said that when God Vishnu took his Bamana Avatar , he kept his one foot in this place . If you see it by satellite image we will see the shape of a foot . Its a great place to visit . The guides are always available to provide you information by taking a decent amount of money as their fees .

Situtated on a hillock along the banks of Ganga river offering a majestic view of the mighty Ganges. The fort is small which was used as a prison during Mughal and british era due to its unique location advantage. It also houses a very ancient temple dedicated to Maharaj Bhartari which is believed to be his mahasamadhi.It also house famous places which inspired the legendary hindi gem Chandrakanta Santati.A must visit place if you are in the are.The fort closes by 5 in the evening so avoid going after 5.
