Sa Calobra, also known as Torrent de Pareis, is a stunning beach nestled in a canyon accessible through tunnels carved into the cliffs. The crystal-clear waters and towering cliffs create a surreal natural setting that feels like something out of an old western movie. While the restaurants are not top-notch, visitors can bring their own picnic and enjoy plenty of drink options to take down to the beach.
Definitely a must visit!! Sa Calobra is a unique pebble beach with beautiful caves where you can go for a hike and relax at the beach. Parking Lot: The parking lot is also quite well organised. Go during the first/second week of June. Fairly empty, many parking spots available and a 5 mins walk to the beach. We stayed there for ~4.5 hrs and paid €13 for the parking. I did read in the reviews about thieves but we didn’t find it unsafe at all. Drive to Sa Calobra: Beautiful drive through the mountains, scenic views, many stops available in between for refreshments and refuelling. We didn’t get any traffic as we went in the early days of June and we reached there around 12:30pm.

The beach/port/canyon itself is absolutely amazing. It’s a surreal place the canyon feels like something out of an old western movie. The water in the Port is cristal clear. Restaurants are low quality so it’s better to bring a picnic but there’s plenty of options for drinks to takedown to the beach. If you do that then you can also use their toilets, otherwise the public one will cost you €1. I read the reviews about the parking only accepting cash and panicked as we only had our phones but there’s two cars machines you can pay by so maybe they’re new.
Aoife M — Google review
Nice little town, fair prices, make sure to get there before 11 or 12 as it will get crowded after.
Nele K — Google review
Only this parking available and unfortunately the most expensive one in Mallorca. I arrived at 11 a.m. and there were plenty of spaces. The worst part, unfortunately, was the service. A very rude young guy who doesn't inform you that there are problems with the signal and it's better to pay in cash
Jan K — Google review
Many of the reviews here are for Sa Calobra and/or the Torrent, rather than the car park. My review is of the car park. It's a car park and one of the few that we've encountered that aren't free or where you can't use the EasyPark app. We arrived early, but after 0930, and got in easy and parked relatively near the front. We had no issue with the security and did not see any problems. We left just after 1pm and there was a queue to exit. We found out that the card machine is very unreliable because of the phone signal. We were lucky that in the third attempt it worked and it cost us €7.90. My advice is to have some cash with you, but bear in mind that there's nowhere to get cash once you're there. The man in the ticket booth was critical that I had only one means of payment with me, which seems harsh when I've not had any card payment issues anywhere else on the island this year or last.
Andrew M — Google review
Would give zero stars if possible. Expensive parking with very unfriendly staff - it's indicated absolutely nowhere this parking prefers cash payment. Upon leaving, staff immediately and in a rude way told us paying by card is not possible. The guy gave a whole unnecesssary speech about how things differ here from "our country". They did suddenly have a card machine though, and after trying 3 times it worked just fine. If you're going to be so irritated about people wanting to pay ridiculous € amounts for your parking by card, at least make sure people clearly know payment options upon entering. The beach is beautiful so worth going though, only a terrible shame there's nowhere else to park your car.. left a bitter taste to an otherwise beautiful environment.
Paulien K — Google review
We arrived about 0920 and the barrier was open so we were able to get a place. The ticket machine is fiddly - it would only allow you to adjust the time by the minute, which meant there was a long queue for tickets. Thankfully, before we purchased a ticket the parking attendant arrived and told us that everyone's vehicle number plates were registered on entry, so we could pay when we left. The spaces are narrow, so bear in mind if you are in a rental car, and take care not to damage other cars when opening doors. The town and car park were very busy when we left at about 1300. Cars were queueing to enter - better to come here early. On leaving we were told that the connection for the card machine was unreliable. It worked after two tries, but in hindsight it's advisable to take cash.
Garry — Google review
Very bad experience, the pay stations don t work , you have to pay at the exit , the card station doesn’t work because has no Ethernet , and moreover the worker there is blaming the tourist cuz the tourist doesn’t have cash to pay, he said everyone has to have cash with them, which is not true, if someone is not willing to carry cash with them, you can t tell them what to do , his attitude was really bad, not a nice approach, the parking is pretty far from the beach , you have to walk like 30 minutes, so take in consideration one hour lost on walking down. And don t forget take cash with you otherwise the worker will blame you if his card machine dosen t work

Nice beach. We had a lot of fun in the waves when we visited, You can easily walk to the smaller beach next to it. We had no issues finding a free parking spot.

What a experience!! First time for us and our two children, 11 en 13 years old. Alexandra took great care for our youngest. He was a bit scared, but she took him by the hand and supported him professionally all the dive long. We immidiatly booked a second dive. It was comfortabele, professional and so much fun. Thank you! 🙏
Maurits B — Google review
I could not recommend this place enough. Walked us through everything, really put us at ease. From walking in, everyine was friendly and welcoming, they all made an effort to talk to you. Our guide was Alex, she was very calm and made the day extra special by pointing out all the sea creatures! I was having trouble with my mask due to my hair, and Alex sorted that out whilst under the water and ensured that it was fixed. If you get a chance to go, you definitely should. The price is extremely cheap for the experience you get.
Sophie H — Google review
We had three of us diving today and it was amazing! Some of our group weren’t able to dive due to medical reasons and the team were so lovely to organise a snorkelling session so no one was left out. And they didn’t make us feel like a hassle Alexandra and Cas were amazing! Alexandra guided our dive and I was quite nervous as it felt so strange! She was calm and supportive and made the experience for us. We got to see loads of cool fish and even got to watch an octopus which was a highlight for me. She checked in regularly to make sure everyone was doing okay and helped sort any issues without making us feel like a nuisance A great very welcoming dive centre! Highly recommend to anyone who is wants to have a go! 11/10 Thanks again!
Lauren A — Google review
Awesome experience, me and my partner went today and it was our first time diving. Our instructor Alex was great, she helped settle nerves. We will definitely be back :D
Katelyn J — Google review
Had an absolute brilliant experience here as it was me and my girlfriend’s first dive. We booked quite on the last minute and they allowed us to basically have a private session with Alex who was a brilliant teacher and calming influence. We were under for around an hour and saw two octopuses, a starfish and tonnes of fish. Couldn’t have wished for a better experience and will definitely be coming back if ever in that area of Mallorca again
Jamie S — Google review
Amazing experience i highly recommend this diving centre. The instruction and his professional diving team we had where lovely, they where very reassuring made us feel safe and well informed, always checking we are ok. They started us off at the beach in the shallows where we could practice and get comfortable with breathing underwater once we where all ok we stayed under from there. It was such a beautiful experience Thank you to the diving team Alice and dawid
Alice B — Google review
We went diving with Alex, and it was my very first dive ever. I was a bit nervous and even had some moments of fear, but Alex gave us a detailed and professional briefing beforehand and supported me throughout the entire dive. She kindly offered to hold my hand so I could signal her if I got scared – and it worked perfectly for me. Thanks to her patience and encouragement, I was able to truly enjoy the experience. I’m already looking forward to my next dive and am incredibly grateful for her support and this great introduction to such a special sport.
Svenja R — Google review
Excellent dive shop and teachers. Felt safe and well cared for. Received my advance open water with Cas whose smile is welcoming, energy invigorating and none stop to fit all our dive needs in, and grounded nature calming. He knew where to find all the hidden treasures on the dives so even though we were earning our certification we still were able to enjoy the full dive experience. Highly recommend them.

Hams' Caves

Hams' Caves, also known as Coves dels Hams, are subterranean grottos featuring a botanical garden and a captivating underground lake. The name "Coves dels Hams" refers to the hook-like formations found inside. Visitors can explore a large botanical garden and witness a mesmerizing projection on ancient rock formations within the cave.
Wow, Hams Caves left me speechless! Wandering through those ancient chambers felt like stepping into another world, with dazzling stalactites shaped like fishhooks (hence the name did you know they’re unique to this cave in Europe?). The LED-lit Blue Cave and the hauntingly beautiful Sea of Venice concert were pure magic. Tickets are €17 for adults, €11 for kids 3-12, and free for little ones under 2 worth every cent! Come early to beat the crowds, wear comfy shoes for the uneven steps, and don’t skip the nearby Dino Park if you’re with kids. Trust me, this place is a hidden gem you’ll be raving about
Maksim — Google review
Amazing place to visit. We visited the same day together with Dinosaurland, everything was really good. The caves visit is kind of guided visit, there are two big caves, it the first one you watch two videos, which both were really interesting, even for the kids 😉, in the second cave at the end when you get to the lake, you listen to the classical music with projection. It was all stunning.
Jana K — Google review
The Caves of Hams are absolutely stunning and well worth a visit while in Mallorca. We were amazed by the rock formations and stalagmites which created a magical atmosphere. The guided tour was very informative, and it was fascinating to learn about the history and natural formation of the caves. One of the highlights was the underground lake with the light and music show. It was an experience unlike anything I’ve seen before. The facilities are modern, clean, and well-organized, and the staff were friendly. If you do not know Spanish you don't need to worry as the tour is narrated in multiple languages including English. Beware that the caves can be quite narrow in some cases which is something to keep in mind if you're claustrophobic. For the best experience, I suggested booking a half a day or day tour to multiple locations. Those guides are not expensive at all and you can be transported directly to the caves (great for those who can't drive such as myself). Overall, the caves are a a great activity for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys nature and geology. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mallorca!
Dhespina B — Google review
Caves were amazing and the program is well though out. My only complaint is that the young children are allowed in tours that become scared and end up screaming and yelling thus ruining the experience for everyone else. Maybe it would be best to offer adults only time slots so everyone can enjoy the caves equally.
Boris B — Google review
Nice with a bit of history about the caves. Impressive that they are 10 million years old. I enjoyed that the groups were not too big. Very interesting tour.
Randi G — Google review
Great excursion takes around an hour to get round, my three year old loved it ,there's a fews stairs so wouldn't recommend for children younger than 3 ( no pram access)
Lisa W — Google review
We had this packaged in with a visit to Dinoland. Whilst the caves are great, there is a show in almost pitch black which several children found a little scary. Lots of very steep stairs (as you might expect) meant many parents had to carry children which looked tiring. I would still recommend as the back story was great but if your kids are under 3 I would miss and just go to dino land
Ross S — Google review
We got there at a good time, bought Tickets and could more or less directly Go in. It was not as overrun with people as the cuevas del drach. It's a little more catered to Kids with little movies playing and colourful Lights in The caves. The movies are in english and being translated by a handheld device. Still a beautiful sight.

Discover the mesmerizing Drach Caves, one of the world's largest underground lakes located in Mallorca. These caves extend for 1,200 meters and are adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites that have formed over millions of years. The 'Venetian Lake' within the caves captivates visitors with its enchanting blue waters. Additionally, classical music concerts are occasionally held here due to the exceptional acoustics.
I had a wonderful experience visiting the Caves. The guided tour was very well organized and it was amazing to walk through the stunning rock formations and underground passages. The highlight for me was definitely the classical concert on the underground lake – it was absolutely breathtaking and created such a magical atmosphere. There were quite a lot of people, which made some parts of the visit feel a bit crowded, but it was still worth it for such a unique experience. Overall, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Majorca, as it’s both fascinating and unforgettable.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic trip! There were no online tickets left, so we went there in person and easily bought tickets for 3 p.m. We arrived around noon, which gave us time to visit the pearl factory and explore the lovely town of Porto Cristo – a great place to grab some lunch before heading to the caves. The caves themselves are absolutely stunning – amazing rock formations, beautiful lighting, and a magical atmosphere. At the end, there was a live classical music concert performed from a boat on the underground lake. Visitors can either take a short boat ride or walk out on foot. The site is partly accessible for people with disabilities, though there are quite a few stairs. There’s also a large free car park right next to the entrance. A truly wonderful experience – definitely worth a visit!

The Drach Caves are an unforgettable experience. The tour is quite long and absolutely worth it: the caves are stunning, well maintained, and beautifully lit to highlight every rock formation. It’s a bit chilly inside, so bring a sweatshirt to stay comfortable throughout the visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions. The final part is pure magic: the musical concert in the dark, with illuminated boats gliding on the water and a four-piece orchestra playing instrumental music, is simply breathtaking. It’s worth every euro spent just for that moment alone. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that gives you goosebumps and stays with you forever.

Very good experience. Queue went quick when we entered. When we got inside the caves, the staff were very quick to move you and could only take pictures at certain points. After going through and got to the end, there is a musical concert. Pictures aren't allowed and staff make sure that you don't take any. To be honest, it's better, probably the whole point of enjoyment. After it was finished, two options of leaving, boat or walk. Most people picked the boat option and took about 20 minutes. Worth it I suppose.

Iconic and historical Caves These are fabulous caves to visit and quite impressive considering their sheer size. We enjoyed going down to visit with my family and friends and were stunned by their beauty. What set this experience apart I believe is that, this is actually on an island, which I had never encountered before. Granted it is a big island but still very stunning and the lake was great to see with that crystal clear water. Drach Caves were amazing to visit, highly recommended!
Paul V — Google review
Tha cave is just stunning, but too many people at the same time and all the time gides said: move, move, move, whitch a bit bothering and don't give you the chance to really enjoy. We spend just 1 hour inside, could have been more for this price. Vonderful classic music concert in the cave was a great surpruse. After all, great memories and impressions

Incredible. I've visited cave formations across the world, and this one tops them all. Amazing formations, well thought out experience and very enjoyable. As you walk through th various caves, you simply don't known where to look next as you eyes are drawn to the various calcified structures. The caves also look very deep in places, so be careful if tempted to learn over the barriers. Really enjoyed the concert and amazing to see the little rowing boats move visitors around in the lake.
Heather L — Google review
The Dragon Cave is truly extraordinary—a massive underground wonder with stunning formations and a breathtaking underground lake. The highlight is the live classical music performance by the water, which feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. On the flip side, this is one of Mallorca’s most popular tourist attractions, so expect big crowds. You’re guided through the cave rather quickly, and then have to wait while around 500 people are seated before the concert begins. Still, despite the downsides of a very touristy spot, the cave itself is absolutely worth seeing. Just go prepared for the crowds and enjoy the beauty of this unique place.

Platja de Muro, located on the north coast of Mallorca, is a stunning 6-km-long beach known for its fine sand and turquoise waters. It offers amenities such as restrooms, showers, and lifeguards for visitors to enjoy swimming and sunbathing. The beach sits in front of the S'Albufera nature reserve in the bay of Alcudia, with dunes bordered by pine groves.
We had a wonderful time at this beach—it’s very calm, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. The water is clear, the sand is soft, and it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. It’s not overly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this beach to anyone visiting Mallorca. Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or solo, you’ll love the calm atmosphere and the stunning views. Also, a big bonus: the food options nearby are fantastic! There are plenty of great restaurants around, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious.

Amazing beach with a very wide shore—plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view!
Hanna S — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters stretching far into the sea – perfect for families with children. However, it is somewhat poorly maintained, lacks lifeguard supervision, and offers no natural shade, so an umbrella or beach tent is essential. It also tends to be quite crowded. In addition, there are many illegal beach vendors, though they are generally not very pushy. We visited with two children (3 and 8), who still had a wonderful time swimming and building sandcastles.

A wonderful place — a large beach with very clean water. We visited on a cloudy day, but it's still an amazing spot.👍👍👍
Jery — Google review
This is one of the best beaches on the island. We’ve visited here twice. Once in 2020 and again this week. The beach sand is almost white, the sea is clear as day, deep blue a few feet beyond that. A lovely boardwalk that goes out a fair way. Lots of green trees scattered amongst the sand, restaurants are in good supply too. Has to be on the list of places to visit when you come to muro.

Absolutely beautiful beach if not a little busy but you can't blame folk for wanting to spend time in such a picturesque spot.

Definitely beach that we enjoyed the most. Beautiful blue see and sandy beach. It also has a lot of chairs and umbrellas, price is 21€ for 2 chairs and an umbrella which comes with a safe to put your things.

Water & Amusement Parks
Hidropark Alcúdia is the only water park in the north of Majorca and a popular attraction for families. Conveniently accessible from Alcudia old town and the city center, as well as from the beach area and Port de Pollenca, it offers over 40,000m2 of water fun with slides, wave pools, spirals, and other exciting attractions suitable for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy a more relaxed experience at Alcanada Golf nearby.
Great park, the family really enjoyed it. Had to pay for your sun loungers but no seats anywhere so had no choice but to pay, was the only negative to the place. Absolutely worth a visit.
John C — Google review
Not bad, some good slides. Kids had done them all in space of 5 minutes which was good not having to queue. However be aware, you have to pay for a sun lounger, they're not included in entry price and you also get hounded by the photographers which really ruin the mood. Worth a visit though.
DEAN B — Google review
Had a great day at the waterpark. Took a 5-year-old and he loved the series of slides for children UNDER 120cm. They go down themselves on rubber rings or mats. We rented 3 sunbeds at additional cost so we had a base / some shade to cool off in. Queues weren't long at all, waited a few minutes tops for slides. Deducted a star as there was a power cut later in the afternoon which meant all the slides stopped, and the card machines weren't working. Would recommend water shoes if you have them, the ground is toasty.
Rowena M — Google review
Situated just next to Club Mac, this water park is super convenient if you're staying nearby. It has plenty of slides and attractions for both kids and adults, so everyone can have fun. We visited in October, and although the water was quite fresh (no heating!), it was still really nice to be able to enjoy the slides and pools at that time of year. The weather was pleasant enough to spend the whole afternoon there. There’s also a restaurant and snack area on site, which makes it easy to grab lunch or a drink between slides. The toilets and general areas were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great place to spend a relaxing family day, especially if you want to mix some fun water activities with a bit of sunbathing. You can easily walk over from Club Mac, and after a few hours, just head back for dinner, super convenient! Tip: bring your own towels, flip-flops, and maybe a bit of patience if it’s busy, but overall it’s a fun, safe, and family-friendly water park worth visiting.

Do not recommend for fall holidays. (October) At a steep price of 84 euros for 1 adult and two children they still charge extra for a chair and even for a locker. It is ridiculously overpriced. You´d expect the water to be heated at this price but no such technology is present. Outside temp 23 degrees C yet the water is freezing cold. Not suitable for small children. Stay away! Spend your cash somewhere else.

This 7-km stretch of white sand and shallow waters offers an accessible boardwalk, restrooms, and showers. With its historical significance dating back to Roman times and its popularity among tourists visiting Majorca, Alcudia Beach provides a wide range of water sports and recreational activities.
One of the best beaches I have been to in Europe. Not so crowded on the weekday but can definitely get on weekends. This stretch of beach doesn’t include any sport activities. Morning walks here were just a treat to the soul.
Shankey S — Google review
Beautiful sandy beach. It is suitable for children. The sea is shallow and not deep. The water in the sea is warm, more than 28 Celsius. There are bars, toilets on the beach. It is possible to rent bed and umbrella for an extra fee.
Vladimir M — Google review
Beautiful white sandy beach. Near the marina, the water is very shallow, perfect for small children. Lots of free toilet blocks along the main stretch - all clean and there are outside showers for hosing off sandy feet. Parasols and loungers available - council run so prices the same along the whole beach. Various pedalos and SUP's to hire but area of use quite small. Sightseeing boats trips pick up at the 3 piers along the beach as well as the marina. Independent each bars at the marina end of the beach, as most of the bay is hotel fronted but more basic cafe's forming part of the toilet blocks. Due to the size, the beach didnt feel too busy.

Safari Mallorca

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Safari Zoo, located near Cala Millor and Sa Coma, offers an exciting family adventure with its drive-thru safari tour featuring over 600 animals such as giraffes, elephants, flamingos, monkeys, and rhinos. Visitors can explore the scenic landscape from their own car or on the park's train. The zoo also includes a reptile house and a petting zoo for educational shows and demonstrations.
We visited in July 2025 as a family of four. The safari ride on the train was enjoyable, and took around 20 minutes. You slowly pass along a windy track through scrubland interspersed with hillocks and trees. There are around ten different types of animal on the safari. Our daughter was sad the monkeys didnt jump on our train, but we saw one playing with the aerial on the car in front of us. I bet the car owner was also sad lol. At the end of the safari ride is a zoo, which is also excellent - we thought it was even better than the safari. There are loads of different animals and reptiles to look at. Other reviews mention the larger animals being on their own. We overheard a guide saying that the elephant grew up on a circus and would struggle to mix with other elephants now. I dont know if the giraffe has a similar story. All the enclosures seem to have plenty of tactile stuff in them, different gradients, surfaces, textures, water etc... looks a great place to be an animal to me. The VR ride is also amazing. Its set underwater, but isnt scary. There's a kiddies play area, a shop and a cafe too. There's a free bus to it, or you can also walk to it in about 25 minutes from Sa Coma. Its well worth a visit and the price feels about right too.
Tom W — Google review
The zoo has seriously improved with the new owners. I went here when I was little and it was NOTHING compared to how it is now, you can tell the new staff are willing to give these animals a good life, and are undergoing a lot of construction to make their habitats even better than they are now, the staff were very lovely (especially Alberto) and there were so many different types of animals. It's a great place to spend a few hours with family :) I highly recommend you go at least once, I mean now its pretty good, but they aren't even CLOSE to finishing, as they only recently got new owners. Give it a few years and it will be one of the best zoo's in Europe! Looking forward to it

Lovely staff, we really enjoyed the safari experience. I would really recommend to bring loads of drinks as it is warm especially during the safari ride. At the parking lot you will be able to buy drink and food as well. THE SAFARI BUS RUNS ONLY FROM MONDAY UNTIL FRIDAY from calla millor, keep that in mind. Public transport drops you off at bus stop which is like 25 min walk from the entrance. I would definitely go again, it was worth it.
Katie_ N — Google review
Really fantastic day out. The new owners have invested a lot in the park and it really shows. The driving safari followed by a walk around the zoo is really highly recommended. It’s not expensive at all, and it’s lovely and quiet (visitors aren’t loud because of the animals) unlike all the other tourist attractions we’ve seen. A very fun day out.
Ryan V — Google review
We visited Safari Zoo Mallorca on foot from our hotel (Hipotels Mediterraneo Club), and it took us about 30 minutes to get there with kids, including a short stop at Carrefour along the way. The kids were absolutely thrilled with the safari experience! We took the little safari train through the open area where animals roam freely. At one point, monkeys even climbed up on the train – which made the whole ride even more exciting and fun for the children! We saw rhinos, zebras, antelopes, lions, an elephant, and a giraffe. It was a great mix of animals, and being able to see them up close made the experience feel more personal and memorable. Special thanks to the guide working there – he shared some really interesting facts about a few of the animals, and it made the visit feel more meaningful, not just like a quick ride through the park. If you’re staying in Sa Coma or nearby, it’s definitely worth a visit, especially with kids.
Marijana M — Google review
Went here to take the train trough the park. The train last about 30-40 minutes and after that you get dropped off at the rest of the park where you can find lots of other animals of all sorts. The staff was also very helpful and could tell a lot about the different animals.
Tamas H — Google review
I personally for myself and my family have had a wonderful time hete at the zoo. The train will collect you from the enterence and takes you through to see multiple animals, including the baboons that climb onto the train itself. Maps given to view all the animals and facilities available. All the diffetent animals were brilliant to see and appeared settled and well looked after. There was educators which taught us about the primates, elephant and the lions along with other animals. The staff were all approachable, helpful and kind. Spoke about previous reviews given a bad review but since then there has been new owners of which the new owners are more focused on welfare of the animals along with looking into the next few years trying to make the zoo less captive and provide more freedom then what they already have. We also were able to get the train back to the enterence along with travel on the free bus provided to take us back to Sa coma (very near to our hotel) As a family, we have had a wonderful day and will be a day to remember most definitely. Thank you to all of the staff and the owners.
Alisia S — Google review
the park seems to have improved significantly from a few years ago. The safari train was a fun start to the day, which takes you into the main park. Most of the animals have nice enclosures and seemed happy and engaged. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful- this is a great day out for all ages in Cala Millor!

Platja del Port de Pollença is a picturesque beach located in the charming town of Port de Pollença. It features a long stretch of golden sand and clear blue waters, offering stunning views of the port and surrounding mountains. The southern area is lined with holiday apartments, restaurants, and shops, while the northern part boasts a more traditional setting with Mallorcan chalets and pine trees along the Pine Walk promenade.
Stayed with family in August/Sep 24. This is a very nice hotel that seems to be very popular. Lots guests that I spoke to, have been visiting for many years and some book and stay more than once per year! I can see why as everything is well laid out, clean and with a good level of service. For a four star, I dont think you can do better than this. This hotel is perfect for a short break as unlike resorts, it is easy to understand how everything works and it is all within a few steps. If you like going to Majorca and would like a good hotel, this is probably the one for you. Staff were all very helpful and the other guests were also some of the most polite that I have come across in a hotel. I think it is just the vibe of the place!

The beach is stunning! It’s very long, which makes it feel spacious and never too crowded. There are plenty of sunbeds available, and the prices are really reasonable (about €14 for a half-day or €21 for a full day, including two beds and a parasol). I also loved how practical it is — there are public showers and restrooms, plus lots of shops and restaurants all along the beach. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the day!

Major busy beach (early September). Nice boutiques and shops in the area of the small sandy. Now, I am spoiled because I live near a quiet sandy bay on the west coast of Scotland far from the madding crowd. But here, there are crowds, so I am not at my best. There is plenty of parking on the side streets and you should be able to find a patch of sand. Not a chance of a parasol - everyone must hit the beach early with towels. The water is very warm and swimmable but there are rocks in places so you need to tread carefully at dark patches. If you just want to lie on a towel in the sun with occasional dips and visits to the plentiful restaurants and bars along the promenade, then this place is for you. Not my bag, but as I say, I’m biased.

Alcudia Old Town, located on the other side of the island from Palma de Mallorca, is a beautifully preserved medieval town surrounded by stone walls originally built for protection against pirates. This old capital of Majorca offers a strong sense of history with Roman ruins, a Bullring, and charming cobblestone alleys lined with small eateries and boutiques. The 14th-century walls provide stunning views of the town.
We visited Alcudia Old Town on market day and really enjoyed it. There were plenty of stalls spread throughout the charming old streets, offering a wide variety of items – from clothes, bags, and souvenirs to handmade crafts. What stood out this time was the increase in local food options – lots of tasty treats, cheeses, cured meats, and fresh produce to try or take home. It had a great atmosphere without feeling too chaotic, and it’s a nice way to spend a few hours exploring. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

This is absolutely one of the most magical and medieval places in Mallorca! The castle and church atop the hill is awesome. A stroll up the streets to the castle can be a bit harsh as the streets can be steep at times, but well worth it. The people here are so welcoming. The Fiesta's are amazing and just a short distance from the wonderful harbour town of Cala Rajada. I absolutely love this place.xxxxx

An interesting place for a walk. It won’t take you much time, as the site isn’t very big, but I think it’s worth it. The regular ticket costs €3, and children under 10 get in for free.

Nice castle if you’re around. Probably finding a parking spot in the town will take up more time than visiting this castle, though.. don’t let that stop you. The (well preserved) building takes up 30 mins or so, and many of the parking spots are taking by tourists (who probably just come and go). Def. worth the 3 EUR , not worth a 2 hour detour I would say.

Must visit. Nice walk with a view. Liked, apart from the views, the governor’s house>museum.

It is ok to visit the castle, don`t expect much of it. Entrance is 3 Euros, payment only by card. You can also download an audio guide at the entrance. Make sure you have proper shoes and a hat, it can be very hot up there. The view to Menorca is great also to the small town and the church. You can walk around in max. an hour. The walk up there is really nice, you can lose yourself on the little streets.

Cala Agulla is a stunning beach located in a serene area of Mallorca, popular among locals and visitors seeking natural beauty. The 500-meter stretch of fine white sand and crystal-clear shallow waters make it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities. The beach is surrounded by scented pine forests and mountains, offering picturesque hiking trails for all levels. Additionally, nearby medieval town Capdepera provides a cultural excursion after a day of sunning and swimming.
Undoubtedly, for us, this is the best and most beautiful beach in Mallorca. Despite the presence of seaweed, you can always find a spot without it. The water is simply mesmerizing, especially combined with the pink sand. There are also very beautiful spots for snorkeling. It can only be compared to the water and sand in Sardinia.

Cala Agulla is a really nice beach with beautiful landscapes to admire! The sand is soft and white, and the water is super clear. It's great that there are bars and showers available. A quick tip: arrive early to secure a good parking spot and a prime location for your towel or a sunbed. Just a heads-up though, it can get very crowded, and there can sometimes be a lot of algae in the water.

Beautiful beach with breathtaking views! The beach gets really busy, but mainly the first 2/3 of the beach. The last part of the beach is significantly better- very clean, with a lot of space and definitely quieter as it is close to the forest and away from the beach bars. The water is crystal clear - you can see many fish. The sand is clean. The forest with the beautiful trees and the turquoise waters make for an unforgettable view and pictures.

I am currently here on July 23rd, 2025. Arrived around 10:45 and it was packed but we found a good spot up front. This is the third beach we’ve been to in Mallorca and I love it! The sand is very fine! There are large rocks in the sand in certain places but you can walk over them to find a spot to set up. The water is perfect! It’s very shallow For a while. You have to walk out somewhat far to not be able to touch the bottom. Which is great for little kids!!! Lots of Families and just couples are here. The water is calm, even when it is a little windy! No real waves. The water is my Favorite thing about this beach! I was able to use my float without getting crushed by waves. It’s Also crystal clear with no seaweed or debris. Water wasn’t warm but wasn’t cold either. It was cool. It’s not a very hot day together and we’ve had intermittent rain(just sprinkles). There are two lifeguards on duty which is concerning since there are so many people at this beach. No way they’d be able to save anyone. There are sun beds and umbrellas for rental. They are at the back of the beach but it’s not a wide beach which is good. Not sure the cost as we had our own umbrella and towels. There are water sport activities for rent such as paddle boarding and paddle boats with a slide. There are several beach bars that sell reasonably priced drinks and baguettes and sandwiches.beers were about 3-4 euro. Mixed drinks about 9 euros. Baguettes and sandwiches are about 5-6 euro. There’s also a sit down restaurant with a bathroom. If you are a customer, the bathroom is free but if you are not, it’s 1 euro. The bathrooms are clean and there is an attendant! Another favorite thing is that behind us are just dunes and next to us are mountains. It’s a beautiful view! There are hotels on the other side but the view is covered by trees. Parking is a pain as it’s hard to find parking close. We got lucky and found a spot about a 5 minute walk. Not too bad but with little ones it’s not ideal. One thing I didn’t care for was the smell. The seaweed smell isn’t pleasant but it’s tolerable. Overall, it’s worth visiting!

A very nice beach indeed. Good services at the beach, like life guard and small bar for drinks and ice cream. Also the possibility of renting beach chairs and parasols. The sand is mostly clean, besides the occasional algae and at least when we visited in October it wasn’t very crowded. Recommended. 🏝️☀️😁

Clear warm water pink sand, beautiful beach to say the least. Gets a bit crowded and you might need to park your car a bit further, but you wont mind that unless you are a spoiled brat. Beach is 10/10

The water was crystal clear, the sand soft, and the views were stunning. It felt peaceful even with other visitors around. Great spot to unwind and soak up the sun. Can’t wait to go back!

Cala Mesquida, a Place of Special Interest in the Balearic islands, is a haven for nature enthusiasts. The beach boasts diverse natural surroundings with sand dunes, rocky patches, and pine trees. It is home to one of the largest cormorant and seagull colonies in the Balearic islands. The area also offers a luxurious hillside hotel overlooking the bay and Parque de Levante nature reserve.
If you're looking for a serene slice of paradise before the crowds arrive, this beach is it. We arrived just after sunrise and were greeted with calm, crystal clear waters and total peace. Until around 11 am, the beach felt like a private escape. The water clarity was exceptional, offering perfect visibility for snorkeling. I followed the rocky edges and saw a wide variety of marine life. Parking was simple and close to the beach, making it easy to bring snorkeling gear without any hassle. While the area does become more crowded in the afternoon, the early morning hours are absolutely ideal for anyone who enjoys nature at its quietest and most beautiful. Highly recommended for early birds and ocean lovers.

Nice Beach. Only the toilet is quite far away from the sunbeds. Two sunbeds and a parasol kost 19,50€/day (on 09.2025) To get sunbeds, be thare at 0930. After 1030 there are no sunbeds left.

Our favorite beach! We hiked everyday from Cala Aguila through the beautiful forest. It is a 30-40-minute hike and the views are amazing. You meet a lot of horse riders on the way. At the end of the hike you get rewarded with the most amazing views of the sea! I didn’t know there existed so many shades of blue!!! The water is insanely beautiful! The cliffs make for great pictures. The beach itself is also very nice. We always sat at the nudist area (fully clothes) as it was very calm and we didn’t mind the people. The other parts of the beach were pretty busy. But for us, this was an unforgettable experience- the hike, the views, the beach.

Gorgeous beach. Worth noting that there is a long walk down steps for any disabilities/heavily pregnant people. But worth it. The beach can get very wavy but it was clear and lovely the day we went. Steep sloping beach, soft sand. Fun place for kids
Kim S — Google review
Beautiful beach, worth visiting and spending the day here. Bring something to eat with yourself and drinks if you don't want to spend too much at the beach bar. Easy to find a parking near (visiting early October).
Amadej B — Google review
One of the best beaches in Mallorca. Long, wide, sandy, plenty of space and very clean water. Although it's a bit hard to park in high season, you need to go early to find a free spot in the limited parking.
Boris T — Google review
Beautiful location, beautiful beach. Sun loungers with lockers were €19.50 for the day. We went out of season and it was still pretty busy but not cramped. There’s a restaurant a very short walk from the beach that overlooks it which sells food and drink and has a toilet, but there is also a small shed like structure slightly further along with one women’s and one men’s toilet, which were surprisingly clean. Parking was limited, we had to park up the hill road the car parks but we did arrive quite late on in the day and still managed to find a spot.
Jane B — Google review
The beach is excellent, the location is great! A cove with a good beach. The beach is clean and there are sunbeds and umbrellas (for payment), but you can rest for free. The beach is not for children as the waves are quite big. The water is clean and comfortable. I will take away only 1 star for the incomprehensible smell on the beach, and a lot of flies (cadaverous stench).

Cala Gat, which translates to "bay of the cat" in Catalan, is a charming and scenic beach located in Cala Ratjada, Majorca. With its transparent turquoise blue waters and picturesque surroundings, it's a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing. Despite its small size, the beach offers a laid-back atmosphere with a kiosk serving drinks and snacks. While lacking amenities like bathrooms or showers, it compensates with its natural beauty and tranquility.
Warm, clear water. Not overcrowded but small. Anyway worth to see!

Extremely small beach, the sand was dirty. People are so close to each other that it gets uncomfortable. Take a few steps into the water and it's alredy deep. Algues made the experience even worse. Would definitely recommend you to take a walk in the area though. The view is stunning.

Nice small beach, a bit crowded even in the beginning of october, but all the other beaches were crowded aswell. Water was very clean.

Small charming beach, transparent, turquoise blue water..., incredible, the typical postcard beach that we all look for in Majorca, it has a small bar where you can have a drink or eat... The beach has no bathrooms or showers, like It usually happens on more natural beaches on the island..., you can park nearby, not suitable for wheelchairs
Jandtheworld — Google review
In March there was not much going on, so there was enough space on the beach. Since the bay is small, it can get crowded quickly in the high season.

Cala Gat (translating from Catalan means - literally „bay of the cat”). We discovered it quite unplanned during a trip to Cala Ratjada. Of course we don't regret it: few tourists, wonderful water and lots of greenery.

Stunning natural beach. Numbers are limited so didn’t seem too busy. Crystalline blue water, white sand and many varieties of fish to see when snorkelling. Easy walk from car park. Easy walk also to Bellavista which is slightly larger. Some limited shade but no amenities so bring all you need.

Nice but narrow drive through the farmland. There are plenty of parking space. Short walk from the car park you will be greeted with white sands and blue water. Calm water on the right hand side for snorkeling and stuff.

After paying the "Tasa Turistica" you'd expect much better services! Instead of improving the parking facilities, signs on the road or the online info, the town hall prefers to pay staff to just close the accesses to beaches leaving literally hundreds of angry visitors to turn back. It's a problem that is not being addressed in a permanent way. Its also an insult to all who love this island and return year after year.

It’s a bit of a tricky drive to get to the parking lot but it’s worth it! The water and the sand is absolutely pristine and it’s perfect for swimming. Unfortunately it was a bit rainy when we were there but a lot of people were still having a great time.

Puerto Antiguo de Ciutadella de Menorca is a historic port located just a few steps from Placa des Born. The surrounding area offers an eclectic mix of buildings hosting various businesses, shops, housing, and seafood restaurants. Visitors can enjoy the quaint harbor and explore the city's quality shops, bars, and restaurants that contribute to its welcoming vibe.
During my chess journey to Menorca for the Menorca Open, I spent time exploring the beautiful city of Ciutadella. The Puerto de Ciutadella offered a picturesque setting with its charming harbor, historic architecture, and vibrant atmosphere. Strolling along the waterfront after intense matches provided a perfect balance between competition and relaxation. The blend of cultural richness and scenic beauty made my stay truly memorable.

I love to visit Cathedrals. In every city or place the first building which I love to visit are Cathedrals. This was amazing. After the Menorca Chess Open, I spent a slow afternoon wandering through Ciutadella’s old town. The narrow stone alleys, the golden light by the marina, and a table of local tapas — prawns, croquettes, and Menorcan flavours — all came together for a perfect end to my chess journey. A lovely way to unwind after the tournament. 🏰🍤♟️

We just love the old capital! We visited in May and it was so peaceful to walk the main streets and alongside the harbour. The shops were great & not expensive. Most cafés don’t mind you calling in for a drink but please ask as some prefer you to buy both food and drink. I would recommend sitting alongside or at the end of the harbour and watch the world go by! Also, please check out the local history. The cathedral is so peaceful and the historical houses are worth a visit too - all 5 euros each but please try to visit just one. Take your time and enjoy your surroundings!

Beautiful beach, lovely clear sea. Parking is bonkers! Go by bus and save the stress and hassel, we did and was the best way to get there and enjoy some hours. Does get very busy. 🔆🩴⛱️
Jon F — Google review
I had a car rented during my holiday on the island, but unfortunately I couldn't use it to rich Cala Turqueta and Cala Macarelleta. Starting with June until end of September the access to these two caves with car is impossible but with bus only. This is because the parking spaces are limited on these 2 beaches and the acces from the main road/highway to them is very narrow. So, the best way to reach to the beaches from whatever you are located in Ciutadella, Cala n Bosch, Cala Blanca is to reach the bus station "Via Perimetral" - Ciutadella . From here you can take bus Nr. 68 to Turqueta or bus Nr. 69 to Macarelleta. It cost 10 Euros per person covering both ways for each destination. Once arrived , you will need to walk for up to 15 min. through forrest to reach the sea. It s worthed, the water is pristine, beautiful colour, silence. Enjoy. Ps: Don t forget to return in time to your scheduled bus.

We parked at Son Bou and walked the coastal path to Cala Turqueta. It took an hour or so each way but meant parking was easy. It’s a beautiful beach but was pretty busy, even in early October on a weekday.

Cala en Turqueta is a true hidden gem! The water is unbelievably clear and beautifully blue, perfect for snorkeling and swimming. The beach is surrounded by lush greenery, making it feel like a peaceful oasis away from the crowds. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy nature, and soak up the stunning views. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

Cala en Torqueta is one of the most beautiful coves of the island, we reached it thanks to a boat excursion and we have no idea if outside the beach are available some kind of service, inside the beach there is only a lifeguard station and no more, you must have your own umbrella. The sand is white and there are lots of panoramic point where you can take photos and dive from it. This is one of the most recommended coves of the all island. You must see it.
Andrea P — Google review
Don’t go here. Unless youre planning to go at 05.00!!! We arrived around 9.30 but parking was already full and the people made us leave.
Merle B — Google review
There is 20 mins walk to the beach. The parking is free but limited to probably 200. The parking is also attended and you will be guided to the next parking spot. At the car park there is bar which sales food/snacks and drinks (Only cash though). You can also take your shower there (1€ per minute of water in a coin drop in box). It is really worth to visit it. Bear in mind if the car park is full it probably means the beach is also packed up. But the water is usually really clear and the scenery is mindblowing - Thanks god for the best there is no concrete there....
F C — Google review
Beautiful place to go. Try to be early (get there before 8AM) since it can be limited (mostly due to COVID measures). In high season, sometimes it can get full at 7:30. There's a small serving cafeteria at the parking with some snacks, although, bring your own is more recommended. A note on this beach: rather crowded and it smells a bit due to a mangrove at the back of the beach.

Beautiful, unspoiled beach with crystal-clear water. About a 10-minute walk from the parking lot, through pines. You can still see the remains of what looks like a WWII defense structure with tunnels. We couldn’t see them, but in the swampy areas between Es Tancats and Platja des Bot it should be possible to spot freshwater turtles.

Platja de Son Bou is the longest beach on Menorca, stretching about 3 kilometers. It's a popular spot with fine golden sand and clear shallow waters, making it perfect for families. The beach offers basic amenities near the village, but if you prefer more privacy, you can walk to the western half of the beach where clothing is optional. This expansive beach provides an ideal setting for picnics or romantic moments like watching unforgettable sunsets.
Nice beach with very shallow water – great for kids to splash and play, but might not be ideal for adults who prefer deeper swimming. It was quite windy during our visit, with some waves. Keep in mind there’s no natural shade, so definitely bring an umbrella or some sun protection.
Andrej — Google review
Very nice and wide beach. But quite narrow and very crowded. It is difficult to park nearby if you’re too late and also there’s a number of sharp stones under the water in some places.
Tomasz — Google review
Huge beach, plenty of sunbeds (€25 for the pair) & also space up against the dunes for those doing their own thing. Very shallow beach indeed, making it ideal for children but a pain for anyone wanting to swim as it's a trek out and there are rocks hidden within the sand. Couple of bar restaurants with a single toilet - only other toilet facilities are smelly portaloos. Huge car park, mostly full at 10.30am on a Sunday in Sept. Car parking also up in the village centre by shops etc, again mostly full.
Laura B — Google review
Nice beach with clear water and white sand. However quite windy! Difficult to have picnic with the wind. You can have foot for quite a long distance in the water so it is nice for children. A lot of waves due to the wind. Easily accessible from the bus station, few ministers walk.

True gem. Long sandy beach so you can find a quiet private spot to land. Clear, warm and turquoise water. Free parking in the vicinity of a large white hotel,Accessed from the parking via a boardwalk lifeguards present. Sun loungers too but if you want more privacy keep walking alongside keeping the sea to your left. Bring a beach umbrella as it can get very hot.
Aga S — Google review
This is one of the best places I have visited as the beach had water you can clearly see through. They was small fishies minding their own business and it was cute to watch them swimming around. Tried out best to not disturb them while in the water. There wasn’t a lot of water sports options available and this can be a good and bad thing. There was sun loungers you had to pay for to use and they are a god investment if needed. Everyone was very friendly and there was lifeguards on view and they was also friendly
Mark N — Google review
Lovely sandy beach with free parking, fairly short walk from the car park to the beach and plenty of sand to walk along. There is a little restaurant that serves drinks and ice creams that you can take away. The sunbeds can be purchased for €10 for all day, which was a little on the expensive side, but if you're a tanner or having nothing else planned I guess it's alright. If you keep walking down the beach away from the cliff side, then you will come to where most of the nudist people tend to settle.
Daryl L — Google review
Platja de Son Bou has it all! There is a busy area near the hotels with sun loungers and restaurants behind the beach. You can also hire a boat or enjoy other water sports. The sea is clear and shallow and children absolutely love it. Short walk towards Santo Tomas and crowds thin out. The area near lifeguard Tower 4 is where the clothing optional beach starts and there is some rocky area in the water, good for snorkeling. Carry on walking to the West and you can have like 50m meters of the beach all to yourself. There are recycling bins at the exits, and some showers to wash that sand off your skin. The car park is free! The atmosphere on the beach is great and people are friendly to each other.

Cova d'en Xoroi is a vibrant bar located in a cliff-side cave overlooking the Balearic Sea. It's one of the most famous bars in the Balearics and offers an impressive setting, especially at dusk when visitors can enjoy cocktails on the terrace while admiring the sunset over the sea. The bar is open day and night during high season, with opportunities to dance inside the caverns as a DJ entertains the crowd.
Wow, what a place! Remnant from the 60s, wouldn't ever be done now. The place itself is down steps which are well-maintained and you'd think you're walking to a city shopping mall. The cave has several bars a DJ booth, lights and even a dance floor. 🕺 Drinks are a bit costly but you expect that when it has to be hauled down there. The views out to sea are amazing! It should definitely go on your bucket list, I went with my wife, mother-in-law and my 15-week-old daughter ( in a carrier) ( no pram or wheelchair access) They have three visit times daytime, sunset, and disco time priced accordingly. Ensure you book online it has a capacity and when it's full you're left in the queue outside till someone comes out. Have a look it's remarkable.

Visited this place in the “Cova day” as I was traveling with my son. (They just allowed minors to join with parents, during the day and before the sunset) After 5pm, adults only and minors with 16 yo+ accompanied by parents. The place is beautiful with amazing views. I really want to back to see the sunset and enjoy the nightclub next time (without children 😁)

Beautiful place in general BUT!!! We’ve waited for too long on a line to get in, in case that the place was definitely not crowded when finally we got in. The music (by DJ) was too melancholic and the people were forcing themselves to dance (may be because it was very early, but anyway it could be more fun. Too many people were there just for the sunset, it was impossible to get a good spot to see it. The girl at the entrance was very polite and ready to help anyone. If you want to visit the place, please make a reservation! Super important. The reservation should be made early from 13:00 to 15:00. We ordered our drinks on a bar where one guy was working and three waitresses were watching. Long line btw. We paid 60€ for two and a drink was included. Dancing area could be more cozy

A stunning spot to watch the sunset on the island. The views are absolutely picturesque, and it’s a fantastic place to explore, especially in the golden hour. We didn’t book tickets in advance but only waited around 10 minutes to get in. It’s definitely an Instagram hotspot, so while the scenery is breathtaking, the atmosphere can feel a bit curated with lots of people focused on getting the perfect shot. Still, it’s well worth the visit for the views alone.

All about the stunning location. What an incredible experience. We visited for the second time in August 2025 and arrived at around 21:30 when a band was playing. Cavalleria Beaches in Menorca are a stunning natural wonder, featuring red and gold sands bordered by clay cliffs. The beach is divided into two parts by a small islet, creating two shell-like beaches with shallow waters and numerous reefs ideal for swimming and snorkeling. For a quieter experience, visitors can explore the nearby slightly rocky alternative of Cala Roja.
Beautiful beach with soft sand, clear water, very good place where to enjoy the sunset. It's very common to have aperitif time there waiting for the sunset. Distance from the parking it's just 5 minutes, access to the beach through a wooden stair. Bar available at the parking.

Beautiful red and gold beach, shallow bay perfect for swimming, paddling, snorkels and surfing. 5 minutes via steps from the car park. Has a lifeguard in season. Little refreshments kiosk in the car park too.
Andrew S — Google review
A beautiful beach—we watched the sunset from a rented boat and it was absolutely stunning. Personally, I prefer the southern part of the island with calas like Macarella, but the north is definitely worth visiting too, as the landscape is completely different and just as impressive in its own way

One of our favorite beaches in Menorca. It’s a quick 5-10 min walk from the parking to the beach which is a big plus. The beach feels very unspoiled and when we visited it wasn’t too busy. The water is gorgeous and beach has a wide panoramic view. There’s a small cafe at the parking lot with some chips and soft drinks. So if you want to eat something significant, come prepared.

The beaches in the south of the island get all the hype. But this beach on the northern coast might be just as beautiful and unique. The surrounding area is very rocky and wild. The beach consists of two parts, cut in the middle by a rock formation in the water. This beach offers beautiful clear waters and an amazing sunset during summertime. We combined the beach with a visit to the light house, which is close. There is sufficiënt parking and in summer the small bar situated on the parking lot offers snacks and refreshments.

Nice beach! In a bay. Free parking. But parking space could do with some maintenance. A bit of a walk to reach the beach. But it is worth it! Nice snorkling.
Maarten H — Google review
Really beautiful, quite big so it doesn’t feel overcrowded. Crystal water. Be aware there are flies in the area. Easy parking.
Nicolò A — Google review
Very unique beach, lovely soft red sand, quite busy, but gets less busy the further you walk, and if you keep walking to the second half of the beach, Ferragut, you can join the nudists and enjoy total freedom! You only live once!

Port of Maó-Mahón is a bustling harbor in Menorca, connected to the town of Mahón and featuring two small islands. It is the world's second deepest natural port, offering stunning panoramic views. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the historical port, with opportunities to dine at charming cafes and restaurants or explore boutique shops. The area also houses the famous Xoriguer Gin Distillery and offers activities such as rides on glass-bottom boats for a tour around the port.
Very nice harbour town. Very picturesque, with plenty of cafes and restaurants to sit in the sun and take it all in. We had coffee and a cake at El trueno cafe situated at the top of the glass elevator. The view is spectacular. There was a large cruise ship docked at the harbour, it was like a floating city.

I really enjoyed Maó as the locals call it. Did the boat trip around the harbour. Lots of history that I found quite surprising. Ifcyou do have mobility issues plan it before going, its a long day. That said everywhere is quite flat and good for wheelchairs etc. The walk upto the town is hard but there is a glass lift that you can use. Town has a good market too (remember to haggle). Retains a lot of its history so quite traditional. Does have a lot of English history from the 1700s where we occupied this island twice. Locals are nice too.

The port is very beautiful. There are lots of places to eat and take in the wonderful views.

Loverly for a steady stroll, theres also plenty of watering holes

What the town of Mao revolves around. Huge natural harbour with plenty to see along the front all way along, good eating places and a starting point for harbour tours, cruise ships, etc. Some cracking views from several well signed miradors along roads and paths above. Well worth a visit.

Beautiful white lighthouse on the most northern part of the island. Beautiful hiking trails and a beach to relax after that hike.

Very beautiful, easily accessible, parking available close by.

This is the most Northern point in the island. The lighthouse has a very lovely view and people often gather there to see the sunset. The place also has a little bar where you can get cold drinks. Definitely recommend visiting the lighthouse of Cavalleria.
Júlia M — Google review
Forgetting the heaps of plastic pollution on the beach, it's not busy and the scuba diving is fantastic! Schools of fish, lots of different types of sealife. Grab a scuba mask and enjoy, well worth it!

(Translated by Google) It is the northernmost point of the Balearic Islands, it has an impressive view of the sea and when you turn around, if it is clear you also see a large part of the Island of Menorca from an elevated perspective. Along the way we saw wild goats. Nestled in the charming town of Fornells, the Fornells Tower fortress stands as a testament to early 19th-century British military architecture. This well-preserved structure once served as a guardian for the harbor entrance and offers visitors an intriguing glimpse into its historical significance. With a modest admission fee, guests can explore its three levels: the ground floor features storage areas, while accommodations are found on the middle level, culminating in breathtaking panoramic views from the top.
Fornells is a very very cute town ! All white and sunny and 🥰 looks a bit like Greece. I loved walking around there, and go up the fort and the tower. Didn’t visit (I had to count my expenses) but the view there is amazing. Very easy to access by walk and by car.

The tower offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the sea, making it perfect for sightseeing and photography. The site is well-preserved and provides a peaceful spot to explore and learn about the area’s past. Definitely worth a visit for history buffs and nature lovers alike!

Nice defensive tower you can visit from the past. Tickets are only 2,40 for one adult and has a nice view when on top of the tower. Don't expect anything too crazy. But nice too see.

We went one day before the Artiem triathlon ,that happened every year is a big sportive event! El pueblo está de fiesta y hay mucho ambiente ! The tower is not always open ,but still worthy go there and feel the energy of Menorca 💜 you can found plenty parking lots and restaurants , also the best bakery and ice creams home made in town ! Please take care when yous visited and keep clean the place . History needs respects and sometimes is so sad seen plastic bottles all around, when we have a lot of garbage bins ! Thanks to the all who come to Menorca and respect her 🙏🏼

I highly recommend visiting this tower and paying the small fee to enter. The interior is fascinating and very well presented, and the restoration work is excellent.
Kent R — Google review
Excellent example of this early 19C British built fortress. Beautifully restored on a hill overlooking the town one way and the sea the other. Visitors can go right to the top (2 photos) There is a small admission fee but it’s free on Mondays. Car parking at bottom of hill (10 min climb). There are many others around the island, some a bit dilapidated and others closed and barred as in photo
Paul — Google review
Would reccomend going into the tower itself! It's only a few euros and the views at the top were so worth it!
Allison W — Google review
There is a small walk up the hill, leading from the sea to this tower. The views are amazing. You can see the boats and a lighthouse there. It is a nice place to see and I strongly recommend connecting it with visiting Fornelles as a town after that (wonderful place with lots of restaurants and a long promenade).

Isabel II Fortress / Mola Fortress

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Castle
Mola Fortress, also known as Fortaleza de La Mola, is a historic stone fortress completed in 1875 by order of Queen Elizabeth II of Spain. Situated on the eponymous peninsula at the entrance to the Port of Mahon in Menorca, it was built due to strategic concerns about potential reconquest by the British or French.
We stumbled across Mola on our last day, just exploring around Mahon. The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining the walking tour route. The military architecture fortress itself is very impressive. The site is expansive, it took us 3 hours because we walked all the way to the Eastern most point of Spain. It was blazing hot that day, so wear a hat and take a water bottle. There are spectacular views along the route, especially at the Vickers gun battery overlooking the cliffs. Definitely visit if you're looking for a half day excursion.

Awesome historical site. Prepare for a lot of walking. Went mid-day and the sun was a lot, but still nice to see
Nikki L — Google review
Fabulous location. Fabulous staff. The site is enormous! You need walking shows or trainers and 2-3 hours of free time. You can hire an electric car if you have mobility or fitness issues. They have audio guides available. The shop has great stuff.
Jason N — Google review
Beautiful military fortress with gorgeous views of the bay from the walls. It is quite big, the main route takes approximately 1,5 hours, the full route - 2,5 hours. There are few points along the route with toilets and vending machines where you can buy cold drinks. At the entrance there is a small souvenir store where you can also buy tickets, cold or hot drinks and some snacks. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is free parking right in front of the fortress.
Rostislav G — Google review
I highly recommend this place to visit. Absolutely unbelievable, vast and historical. It is truly amazing, will definitely be back. Recommend that you use the buggy hire.
William P — Google review
We spent a fantastic, eventful afternoon at the fort. There were so many sights to see. We were given a map when we bought our tickets. Unfortunately, it started to rain while we were there, but the staff came to get the visitors who were stuck there and took cover (those who wanted to go back to the entrance would have been taken by car, but everyone stayed there and waited for the rain to stop). It was worth the wait: the sun came out and the rest of the tour only came after that. You can buy gifts at the entrance. Thank you!
Katalin B — Google review
We been there around 11 am we found parking easily. There is no queue in front of us paid a ticket, and one lady explained where and what to see if we were following the map .Our tour was 1,5 hours by feet. You need to be physically fit, or you can rent a small "car"
Zsuzsa K — Google review
Well worth a visit. Amazing old fortress, and great price for entry. They have electric vehicles for hire to you can get round the fort easily. Especially useful for our visit due to my wife’s mobility. Made the fort as accessible as it can be. Was amazing to see the Vickers naval gun.
